- 0:02Speaker 1: Sunday Week fifteen, wrapping up, the Chiefs are eliminated, the
- 0:14Speaker 1: Patriots wind streak is over, and we have a new podcast, Baby.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Welcome to the Favorites, presented by DraftKings. I'm your host
- 0:21Speaker 1: Brandon Kravitz, joined by my fellow d Jens Kendram Middleton.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Evan Abrams is with us tonight as well. Stucky is
- 0:28Speaker 1: out for the night as he and his wife have
- 0:31Speaker 1: welcomed in the newest member of their family and ours.
- 0:35Speaker 2: So congratulations to them.
- 0:38Speaker 1: We have our first podcast, Baby that isn't a shrimp Kendro.
- 0:41Speaker 2: This is huge news.
- 0:44Speaker 3: It's massive news. Congrats to them. I can't believe.
- 0:47Speaker 4: Stucky was tweeting after his child's birth about the games
- 0:51Speaker 4: was so iconic, so good, congrats, so great.
- 0:54Speaker 1: And apparently the I believe the time of birth was
- 0:59Speaker 1: one pm exactly on the East Coast. So born into
- 1:02Speaker 1: a football family and already ready to watch some Titans football.
- 1:06Speaker 2: We've got our goats and wotes queued up.
- 1:08Speaker 1: Our biggest takeaways from the Sunday slate A fast pass
- 1:11Speaker 1: parlay for Dolphin Steelers Monday Night Football, Kendra. We have
- 1:16Speaker 1: so much to cover today that we're gonna definitely have
- 1:20Speaker 1: some meat left on the bone for Tuesday's episode, where
- 1:23Speaker 1: do we even begin?
- 1:25Speaker 2: Who's your goat on the day?
- 1:28Speaker 4: My I have so many goats, but I think I'm
- 1:31Speaker 4: gonna go with the Commanders.
- 1:32Speaker 3: Obviously that was massive and Josh Allen.
- 1:35Speaker 4: Those were the two biggest things that I needed today
- 1:38Speaker 4: and they both happened.
- 1:40Speaker 3: Probably gonna go with.
- 1:42Speaker 4: Actually, I'll save that for our biggest takeaways from the
- 1:44Speaker 4: one o'clock hour by I'm gonna go Commanders and Josh
- 1:47Speaker 4: Allen because somebody else wrote what I was gonna say
- 1:50Speaker 4: on here, so I'll save that for them.
- 1:54Speaker 1: The Trevor Lawrence performance today, even if it was against
- 1:58Speaker 1: the Jets, I am not gonna scoff at accounting for
- 2:02Speaker 1: six touchdowns forty eight points.
- 2:04Speaker 2: These Jacksonville Jaguars might just be for real. My goat
- 2:10Speaker 2: on the day is mister Lawrence.
- 2:12Speaker 1: In fact, I actually picked up some swag just to
- 2:15Speaker 1: commemorate the moment here since we are Jacksonville Jaguars podcast.
- 2:19Speaker 1: There you go, use your goat today, I'm.
- 2:27Speaker 5: Gonna flip it. My wote is first will be the Raiders.
- 2:30Speaker 5: Uh I, Just every single week it seems like they
- 2:33Speaker 5: get worse and now they are forced and I say
- 2:35Speaker 5: forced to go play the best defense in the NFL
- 2:38Speaker 5: and the Texans next week. It's almost gonna be, as
- 2:41Speaker 5: you know, watchable as Philip rivers today. Uh and my
- 2:44Speaker 5: my goat is stuck because, honestly, as unbelievable as you know,
- 2:49Speaker 5: the whole process is a child on an NFL Sunday fantastic.
- 2:53Speaker 5: The dude is logging bets as well, taking both sides
- 2:57Speaker 5: of the Packers and the Broncos. He's looking for from
- 3:00Speaker 5: a middle while just having a baby. And then the
- 3:03Speaker 5: Ravens put up a shutout right after his kids born.
- 3:07Speaker 5: There's really nothing better than that. So shout out the stuck.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Shout out the stuck.
- 3:12Speaker 1: Indeed, great call on the Buffalo Bills as well, and
- 3:16Speaker 1: not so much on the Kansas City Chiefs. We went
- 3:20Speaker 1: tend to head with the Chargers and the Chiefs, and
- 3:23Speaker 1: so of course an honorary goat for Justin Herbert and
- 3:27Speaker 1: those hard charging LA Chargers for coming through not just
- 3:32Speaker 1: getting the win or the cover, but the win as well.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Of course, we have to mention, by the way, what was.
- 3:38Speaker 5: That I thought you were gonna let it go?
- 3:41Speaker 2: But now, okay, here's the thing. Here's the thing.
- 3:47Speaker 1: You guys actually share that one because the bills were stuck.
- 3:50Speaker 1: He's plant the flag and then then they were your
- 3:54Speaker 1: How am I supposed to keep track of all this stuff?
- 3:56Speaker 1: I need to start writing this down. But listen, you
- 3:59Speaker 1: came home on the commanders for us, and that was huge.
- 4:03Speaker 1: I had myself a nice profitable day, and certainly a
- 4:06Speaker 1: part of that was tailing some of the knowledge that
- 4:10Speaker 1: you bring to the table for our podcasts, and I
- 4:12Speaker 1: greatly appreciate that.
- 4:14Speaker 2: I'm wearing a jags at right now. I don't want
- 4:16Speaker 2: to catch any shit tonight.
- 4:17Speaker 4: Okay, you're jagging off, baby, let's go, I get that right.
- 4:22Speaker 2: But Patrick Mahomes injured. He's done for the year.
- 4:25Speaker 1: I mean, the Chiefs are done for the year, so
- 4:27Speaker 1: it kind of doesn't matter as far as this season goes.
- 4:29Speaker 2: But huge news.
- 4:30Speaker 1: It's an ACL tear, so he's gonna be rehabbing this
- 4:33Speaker 1: all throughout the offseason. Evan, is the dynasty over or
- 4:39Speaker 1: is it just a pause?
- 4:40Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 4:41Speaker 5: I think it takes a bit of a hit. Like
- 4:43Speaker 5: I think we're gonna see Minchew probably for the rest
- 4:45Speaker 5: of this season. Next week they're at Tennessee line's gone
- 4:48Speaker 5: down to four and a half. My personal opinion shut
- 4:51Speaker 5: it all down for this year, Like there is no
- 4:53Speaker 5: reason for anybody over the age of twenty eight, yes,
- 4:58Speaker 5: over the age of twenty eight, to be playing another
- 4:59Speaker 5: day for Kansas City. I think based off of all
- 5:03Speaker 5: the games they've played as a group in the playoffs,
- 5:07Speaker 5: it's like an extra season, an extra season and a half,
- 5:09Speaker 5: Like just let everybody relax and then take a reset.
- 5:13Speaker 5: I think they needed like the offseason. They need additions.
- 5:16Speaker 5: They need to do things to actually make the roster better,
- 5:19Speaker 5: because I think that's what got them got them this year,
- 5:21Speaker 5: the blocking, the defense, the pass catchers, like they just
- 5:24Speaker 5: they need more help and hopefully the homes comes back
- 5:28Speaker 5: week three, Like I think Week one is a little crazy,
- 5:31Speaker 5: but you know it's pat So we'll see.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Kendrew, where do you fall on where we are with
- 5:37Speaker 1: the current form of the Kansas City Chiefs, we'll get to.
- 5:41Speaker 1: I mean, for them, they're done for this year, and
- 5:43Speaker 1: anybody that had an under on their win total, congrats
- 5:47Speaker 1: you the playoffs. What do you get that that sounded?
- 5:52Speaker 1: That's got to be at least plus two?
- 5:54Speaker 3: Funny, let me pull it up next time one of
- 5:57Speaker 3: you are talking. I don't think the dynasty's over.
- 6:00Speaker 4: I think that it's probably more so just they need
- 6:03Speaker 4: to retool, which we kind of all knew before the
- 6:05Speaker 4: beginning of this season. Anyway, Like if you thought that
- 6:08Speaker 4: they were going to run away with you know, the AFC,
- 6:11Speaker 4: I think that you just haven't been watching the last
- 6:13Speaker 4: couple of seasons.
- 6:14Speaker 3: They're teams so old and like he just said, like
- 6:16Speaker 3: they've played so.
- 6:17Speaker 4: Many games, which is why I kind of had the
- 6:19Speaker 4: thought process that I did when betting them to miss
- 6:22Speaker 4: the postseason.
- 6:24Speaker 3: But I don't think it's over. They just need to retool.
- 6:26Speaker 4: Like he's going to come back. Sure he won't be
- 6:27Speaker 4: one hundred percent, but I don't I don't expect him
- 6:30Speaker 4: to ever not play in another Super Bowl, you know
- 6:33Speaker 4: what I mean. Like his career is probably only what
- 6:34Speaker 4: half over a little over half.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Yeah, let's not forget Brady had bagged a couple of
- 6:40Speaker 1: Super Bowls before he tore his ACL and he's still
- 6:44Speaker 1: cranked out a few more after that.
- 6:45Speaker 2: So they definitely have a lot of work to do,
- 6:48Speaker 2: and they will get.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Busy in the offseason because, as Evan mentioned, it's every
- 6:52Speaker 1: piece of that team. I think going to the super
- 6:54Speaker 1: Bowl last year off of all of those one possession wins,
- 6:57Speaker 1: I think it masked a lot of their problems and
- 6:59Speaker 1: they didn't really go hard into the off season trying
- 7:02Speaker 1: to fix those because they they go, well, why would
- 7:04Speaker 1: we We made it to the super Bowl, And I
- 7:07Speaker 1: think that that sort of deodorized a lot of the
- 7:10Speaker 1: problems that they had. Not the only injury today, by
- 7:13Speaker 1: the way, Micah Parsons also torn ACL. At least that's
- 7:17Speaker 1: what it looked like. Do we get the official word
- 7:19Speaker 1: on that. I don't want to speculate, but to me,
- 7:22Speaker 1: it looked like a torn ACL the way that his
- 7:24Speaker 1: knee bent sideways and was helped.
- 7:27Speaker 3: Off the locker roving question.
- 7:29Speaker 1: I believe Mike Florio had reported that this was yeah,
- 7:34Speaker 1: an ACL.
- 7:35Speaker 2: I mean that's what it looked like. Let's I'm not
- 7:38Speaker 2: a like.
- 7:39Speaker 5: We've seen Yeah, we're gonnare that right now?
- 7:42Speaker 1: Ian Rappaport is also saying that it is believed that
- 7:45Speaker 1: he has suffered a torn ACL. Rarely do you see
- 7:47Speaker 1: the fear a torn a cl and then the next
- 7:51Speaker 1: report is like, just kidding.
- 7:53Speaker 2: It's actually just uh something else.
- 7:55Speaker 1: So it looks like he's done for the year, as
- 7:57Speaker 1: well as somebody that has Packers futures. Evan, what does
- 8:00Speaker 1: that do for your confidence on this team moving forward?
- 8:02Speaker 1: And by the way, they just lost the Broncos. The Broncos,
- 8:05Speaker 1: at what point are we going to buy into this team?
- 8:07Speaker 1: They're obviously real at this point.
- 8:09Speaker 5: Yeah, okay, So starting with the Packers, I like them
- 8:13Speaker 5: before they got Mica, so I think I need to
- 8:15Speaker 5: take a step back. And you know, obviously a deflating
- 8:19Speaker 5: day for people who believe in the team and have
- 8:21Speaker 5: those tickets. I mean though, if it was just Christian Watson,
- 8:25Speaker 5: I probably could have handled that given the depth at
- 8:29Speaker 5: target and wide receiver, even without Craft as well. But
- 8:32Speaker 5: the fact that you've got the Watson injury and the
- 8:34Speaker 5: Parsons and the loss hard not to be dejected. But
- 8:39Speaker 5: I will say this, Lions lost Bears one. But we
- 8:43Speaker 5: have that matchup next week Saturday, short a little short rest,
- 8:47Speaker 5: which kind of sucks, but I'm gonna try to stay positive.
- 8:51Speaker 5: Like Green Bay either way should make the playoffs, so
- 8:54Speaker 5: there at least is going to be a shot there,
- 8:55Speaker 5: but their luck this year has just been absolutely crappy,
- 8:59Speaker 5: So heard to stay away from that.
- 9:00Speaker 1: One one of my wotes today is the Seattle Seahawks,
- 9:06Speaker 1: and I know they pulled out a win.
- 9:09Speaker 2: By the skin of their teeth.
- 9:10Speaker 1: The fact that they struggled with Philip Rivers as much
- 9:13Speaker 1: as they did today, who could not move a lick.
- 9:17Speaker 1: The easiest bet I cashed all day was under half
- 9:21Speaker 1: a rushing yard for Philip Rivers. This guy was immobile
- 9:26Speaker 1: and at their entire game plan was so predictable. It
- 9:29Speaker 1: was just it was short, easy passes for Rivers, hand
- 9:33Speaker 1: the ball off to Jonathan Taylor. To me, this is
- 9:36Speaker 1: a big hit in my confidence of the Seattle Seahawks. Kendra,
- 9:39Speaker 1: how do you read this whole situation or do you
- 9:42Speaker 1: just want to give Philip Rivers the forty four year
- 9:44Speaker 1: old grandpa's flowers today?
- 9:46Speaker 4: I didn't want to keep scrolling, But one of the
- 9:48Speaker 4: things that did pop up for me is the under
- 9:50Speaker 4: ten and a half win total for the Chiefs was
- 9:52Speaker 4: plus one fifty, So that did cash. I will go
- 9:54Speaker 4: through the rest of my bets later and find that
- 9:56Speaker 4: for our show on Tuesday.
- 9:58Speaker 3: As far as the Philip Rivers say.
- 10:00Speaker 4: I also lost confidence in Seattle today because I had
- 10:04Speaker 4: their defense for an any time score. Because I thought
- 10:06Speaker 4: that they would pick the old man off and they didn't.
- 10:09Speaker 4: And considering the inconsistencies that Sam Darnold has been having,
- 10:13Speaker 4: the fact that they couldn't capitalize on playing a forty
- 10:15Speaker 4: four year old grandfather, how does that not take a dip?
- 10:19Speaker 4: How does your confidence in them not take a dip?
- 10:21Speaker 4: And the other thing is, like I low Keim in
- 10:24Speaker 4: the camp that he should go into the Hall.
- 10:27Speaker 3: Of Fame just for the performance he had today. Was
- 10:29Speaker 3: it boring?
- 10:30Speaker 2: Yes?
- 10:30Speaker 4: If it was not a forty four year old man,
- 10:32Speaker 4: would I be sitting here being like, whoa, that was awesome?
- 10:35Speaker 3: Absolutely fucking not.
- 10:36Speaker 4: But that man has been on his couch for almost
- 10:39Speaker 4: five years and came out and almost beat debatably a
- 10:42Speaker 4: top two defense in the NFL this season.
- 10:45Speaker 3: Like that's that's insane.
- 10:47Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what that was.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Everything I wanted from the Mike Tyson fight and didn't
- 10:51Speaker 1: get was what we got for Rivers. It's a legitimate
- 10:55Speaker 1: fight out there. I mean, the Colts very well could
- 10:57Speaker 1: have won that game.
- 10:58Speaker 3: So insane.
- 11:00Speaker 5: He had a game winning drive basically, I mean it
- 11:02Speaker 5: did set up a sixty yarder, So I don't exactly
- 11:04Speaker 5: want to give him the full credit. Maybe I would give, like,
- 11:06Speaker 5: maybe give me ten to fifteen more yards, but he
- 11:08Speaker 5: got him in position. He did everything he had to do.
- 11:11Speaker 4: So.
- 11:13Speaker 3: I wonder what those numbers were like.
- 11:15Speaker 4: I know that the number closed at what thirteen and
- 11:17Speaker 4: a half fourteenen but I didn't want.
- 11:20Speaker 5: That down a little bit.
- 11:21Speaker 1: I didn't know.
- 11:21Speaker 4: I didn't know what the pricing wound up being on it.
- 11:23Speaker 4: I'm curious to go back and look at this point,
- 11:25Speaker 4: because holy crap.
- 11:27Speaker 5: I mean commised with one hundred and twenty passing yards,
- 11:29Speaker 5: so definitely went under that through the touchdown pass, which
- 11:32Speaker 5: was nice, but it was a lot of runs. It
- 11:35Speaker 5: was conservative, to say the least, but he can sling it,
- 11:39Speaker 5: and I think he gave him a better chance. I
- 11:40Speaker 5: think the defense also played a lot better. I think
- 11:44Speaker 5: they just felt more motivated as a team to have
- 11:47Speaker 5: him back there versus say Riley Leonard. So I think anything,
- 11:51Speaker 5: the team played better because he was out there. But
- 11:54Speaker 5: I think he was mild leading mediocre would be probably
- 11:58Speaker 5: what I would say.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Some other takeaways to get to I want to stick
- 12:02Speaker 1: on the biggest game of the one o'clock slate, and
- 12:05Speaker 1: that was the Bills and the Patriots and it looked
- 12:09Speaker 1: like it was gonna be all New England twenty one nothing,
- 12:13Speaker 1: and then Buffalo comes barreling back and it is is
- 12:17Speaker 1: if people don't watch this league every single week, I
- 12:21Speaker 1: saw the tweets firing out way too early.
- 12:25Speaker 2: I would like to read.
- 12:26Speaker 1: You, guys some of these please yes, various celebrities, including
- 12:33Speaker 1: one that's on this podcast. Let's start with somebody by
- 12:38Speaker 1: the name of Will Compton. He said the Patriots week schedule,
- 12:41Speaker 1: haters are sick watching this ass beating against the Buffalo Bills.
- 12:46Speaker 1: What about Pat McAfee, one of the biggest media stars
- 12:49Speaker 1: out there today, belt to ass in Foxborough? The Patriots
- 12:52Speaker 1: are a problem several ms. Emmanuel Acho, often outspoken, says
- 12:58Speaker 1: this is a state by the Patriots. Also, the Bills
- 13:02Speaker 1: defense way too slow. How about our very own Kendra Middleton.
- 13:07Speaker 1: The Patriots are going to win the Super Bowl, aren't they?
- 13:10Speaker 1: And then here come the Buffalo Bills. Kendra, what do
- 13:15Speaker 1: you have to say for your crow?
- 13:16Speaker 2: What is this? I will better?
- 13:19Speaker 4: No?
- 13:19Speaker 3: Okay? I first of all, First of all, I bet
- 13:22Speaker 3: on the Bills.
- 13:23Speaker 4: Second of all, I went on not only our morning show,
- 13:26Speaker 4: our night show and my morning show on the weekends
- 13:31Speaker 4: backing the Bills. I was so ready to eat crow.
- 13:34Speaker 4: But everyone can suck me at work this week. Call
- 13:39Speaker 4: into my show six one seven seven, seven nine zero
- 13:42Speaker 4: ninety eight five. I'll be there so much this week.
- 13:45Speaker 4: Call me the amount of crap people were saying in
- 13:48Speaker 4: my DMS.
- 13:49Speaker 3: Oh, I can't wait to go to work this week.
- 13:51Speaker 3: I can't wait. I can't wait. I can't wait to
- 13:53Speaker 3: listen to the callers.
- 13:54Speaker 4: Ah.
- 13:56Speaker 1: And this is why I'm surprised that you that you
- 14:00Speaker 1: gave up on.
- 14:01Speaker 2: It as quick.
- 14:03Speaker 3: I'm not even kidding I was.
- 14:06Speaker 1: This happens. It happens every night in the NBA. This
- 14:09Speaker 1: happens every week in the NFL. People need to get
- 14:13Speaker 1: off of Twitter before the deep depths of the fourth quarter.
- 14:17Speaker 2: That's my main.
- 14:18Speaker 3: Picking my ass all season long. Like I was ready
- 14:21Speaker 3: for it. I literally you know what, They've been kicking
- 14:24Speaker 3: my ass all season long.
- 14:25Speaker 4: But you know what I'll have forever my bet on
- 14:28Speaker 4: Vegas the first game and the freaking Buffalo Bills.
- 14:31Speaker 3: This week. I will take the l's for those two dubs.
- 14:35Speaker 5: I think all I would have asked was that they
- 14:37Speaker 5: maybe waited five minutes into the third quarter to at
- 14:42Speaker 5: least fire off the first tweet because Buffalo scored four
- 14:45Speaker 5: touchdowns in their first four drives in the second half, Like,
- 14:49Speaker 5: if you would have just waited five minutes, maybe you
- 14:51Speaker 5: would have been like, oh, we actually have a game here.
- 14:54Speaker 5: This is just the game script that we all knew.
- 14:56Speaker 5: Brandon Anderson, who obviously works for Action now attracts all
- 14:59Speaker 5: of picks in the New England first half Buffalo second half.
- 15:02Speaker 5: It was just it was the bet that people assumed
- 15:05Speaker 5: was gonna happen in this game, and it literally worked
- 15:08Speaker 5: to a t. Couldn't have been any more perfect. But
- 15:12Speaker 5: the thing, I guess back up for one second. The
- 15:15Speaker 5: positive from New England. They ran the ball really well,
- 15:18Speaker 5: and again, everybody runs the ball really well against Buffalo,
- 15:21Speaker 5: but it was actually kind of nice to see some
- 15:23Speaker 5: balance from New England side, which we hadn't seen for
- 15:25Speaker 5: a while, which I'll take as a positive going forward
- 15:28Speaker 5: because listen, they're gonna be in the playoffs either way.
- 15:30Speaker 5: They're probably gonna win the division either way, as long
- 15:32Speaker 5: as they take care of business. But that was a
- 15:34Speaker 5: positive for me.
- 15:35Speaker 3: But I don't know. They play the Ravens next week, correct, it.
- 15:39Speaker 2: Does look play I mean, I don't.
- 15:41Speaker 1: I'm not gonna take too much away from New England
- 15:44Speaker 1: in losing this game. That was an all time effort
- 15:47Speaker 1: from Buffalo in the second half. The Patriots had one
- 15:50Speaker 1: hundred and twenty straight home games where they were leading
- 15:52Speaker 1: it by seventeen or more without losing the game, and
- 15:57Speaker 1: that streak was broken today. So that was one hundred
- 16:00Speaker 1: and twenty plus at home leading by seventeen or more
- 16:03Speaker 1: broken by number seventeen, which is beautiful poetry. And then
- 16:07Speaker 1: Stefan Diggs after the game said something that I completely
- 16:10Speaker 1: agree with. It's a little bit narrative based, but he
- 16:12Speaker 1: said that they needed to lose that game in order
- 16:16Speaker 1: to kind of wake up because they were living in
- 16:18Speaker 1: a dreamland. Kendrick, it sounds like you would agree with
- 16:22Speaker 1: that statement that this might actually turn out to be
- 16:25Speaker 1: a bit of a positive for the Patriots moving forward.
- 16:29Speaker 4: I definitely think it's probably a little bit of a
- 16:31Speaker 4: reality check for them, considering the world that they have
- 16:36Speaker 4: ahead is it doesn't really matter who you pulled in
- 16:39Speaker 4: the AFC, it's probably gonna be a blood bath.
- 16:40Speaker 3: So I think one it.
- 16:41Speaker 4: Was a reality check for them, So I do think
- 16:44Speaker 4: in the end it'll wind up being a positive.
- 16:45Speaker 3: But I'm not gonna fully make up my mind.
- 16:48Speaker 4: Until I see how they look against Baltimore because just
- 16:51Speaker 4: I don't know fully who they are. Do I think
- 16:53Speaker 4: they're a good team, Yes? Do I think that they
- 16:54Speaker 4: deserve to be in the postseason?
- 16:55Speaker 2: Yes?
- 16:56Speaker 4: Do I think that Josh McDaniels has absolutely just elevated
- 17:00Speaker 4: Drake Made to the Nines. Yes, But I need them
- 17:02Speaker 4: to I need to see them play another good, hungry
- 17:05Speaker 4: team before I decide whether I believe.
- 17:08Speaker 3: In them in the postseason or not.
- 17:10Speaker 5: The problem is is if they lose to the Ravens
- 17:12Speaker 5: and then take care of business against like the Jets
- 17:15Speaker 5: and Dolphins, and they entered the playoffs that way, You're
- 17:17Speaker 5: still gonna have no faith in them, Right, I don't know?
- 17:21Speaker 3: Because no, I don't think so.
- 17:24Speaker 4: Because as long as I, as long as I see
- 17:26Speaker 4: them compete with Baltimore, even if they lose to the
- 17:29Speaker 4: Ravens by like a walk off field goal, I think
- 17:31Speaker 4: that I would still feel decent about that because it's
- 17:35Speaker 4: obviously in away game for them, and Lamar has to
- 17:37Speaker 4: be on a terrork because their division is even more
- 17:40Speaker 4: wide open if they don't take If they don't take
- 17:43Speaker 4: care of business against the Jets in Miami. I will
- 17:46Speaker 4: have more concerns than whether they lose to Baltimore by
- 17:49Speaker 4: a walk off field goal or a situation like that.
- 17:51Speaker 5: Okay, it's just they have such the cupcake schedule. Most
- 17:54Speaker 5: people would probably go down the path to be like, Okay,
- 17:57Speaker 5: you know, you did what you had to do, but
- 17:58Speaker 5: you couldn't beat the teams At the end, there's going
- 18:01Speaker 5: to be an excuse, because I think they always want
- 18:03Speaker 5: to have an excuse with this team. But that is
- 18:06Speaker 5: the most likely case I can see coming already.
- 18:09Speaker 1: A couple of other quick notes from the one PMS
- 18:12Speaker 1: Pete Carroll might have to go that team is an embarrassment.
- 18:15Speaker 1: Good to see the Eagles get a cover, though, because
- 18:17Speaker 1: they have really struggled with that. The Texans, if we're
- 18:20Speaker 1: talking about a beta ble angle, I don't think logging
- 18:23Speaker 1: a Texan super Bowl bet right now is such a
- 18:26Speaker 1: bad idea. They're eleven to one to win the Super
- 18:28Speaker 1: Bowl plus four seventy five. If you just think that
- 18:30Speaker 1: one of these juggernauts in the NFC is going to
- 18:33Speaker 1: win the whole thing. Best defense in the NFL with
- 18:36Speaker 1: an offense that's capable of scoring forty. Those are the
- 18:39Speaker 1: kind of teams that win Super Bowls. So I think
- 18:41Speaker 1: that that's one that I would look at. I'm probably
- 18:44Speaker 1: gonna end up taking some sort of Texans future. I
- 18:48Speaker 1: feel like I've seen the offense Mary with the elite
- 18:52Speaker 1: defense enough now to where I feel comfortable doing that.
- 18:56Speaker 2: And the Bengals officially.
- 18:57Speaker 1: Eliminated from the playoffs today, any other takeaways Kendro from
- 19:02Speaker 1: the one o'clocks before we move on.
- 19:05Speaker 4: I gotta say the boys better start doing their nails
- 19:09Speaker 4: and drinking their mamachia because KAYLEB Williams is on y'all's ass.
- 19:14Speaker 3: That's what I have to say about that.
- 19:18Speaker 2: So the Bears put a thumping on the Cleveland. It's
- 19:22Speaker 2: the Browns though.
- 19:23Speaker 4: Do we bet the Browns next week? Who do the
- 19:24Speaker 4: Browns have next week? I think I think this might
- 19:27Speaker 4: be a bro.
- 19:28Speaker 5: Wait, you actually did the brown You don't know? The
- 19:30Speaker 5: Browns are at home. They're double digit under the bills.
- 19:33Speaker 2: Oh my god, the Bells.
- 19:35Speaker 1: Yeah, they're definitely ending up. Oh my god, they're ending
- 19:38Speaker 1: up on the car. And you already you already.
- 19:47Speaker 5: That's gonna be fun.
- 19:48Speaker 2: That's awesome.
- 19:49Speaker 1: All right, Well, we can basically lock that one in.
- 19:52Speaker 1: That's a guarantee, uh into the four o'clock window. The
- 19:58Speaker 1: Niners hang on to against the Tennessee Titans. That was
- 20:02Speaker 1: a big time sweat. But I covered that one. That
- 20:04Speaker 1: was the plant the flag game from yours truly, and
- 20:08Speaker 1: let's see the Saints wound up walking off against the
- 20:12Speaker 1: Carolina Panthers.
- 20:13Speaker 2: That's not good. It is what happens, Evan.
- 20:20Speaker 1: It continues when this team is favored, you cannot trust them.
- 20:23Speaker 1: They are only betable as underdogs.
- 20:26Speaker 5: They just couldn't close this game. They were up, I
- 20:28Speaker 5: believe seventeen to seven and literally couldn't get the first down.
- 20:32Speaker 5: They got stuffed, gave the ball back to New Orleans
- 20:34Speaker 5: multiple times. I mean, they were asking to lose this
- 20:37Speaker 5: game on the road. And that throw from Bryce Young
- 20:41Speaker 5: that we had, that rainbow throw was maybe the throw
- 20:44Speaker 5: of his career in a loss, which obviously says something
- 20:48Speaker 5: about this. But listen, it all comes down to Carolina
- 20:51Speaker 5: and Tampa Bay anyway, So that feels like the right
- 20:53Speaker 5: way to end this two games against each other. I
- 20:56Speaker 5: made a joke before, like Todd Bowles when Carolina was
- 20:59Speaker 5: winning this game before had to gone out and look
- 21:01Speaker 5: for like a positivity pirate or something like that to
- 21:04Speaker 5: try to switch this locker room. Because god, it was
- 21:07Speaker 5: just imagine trying to watch this game in Carolina leading early,
- 21:11Speaker 5: were gonna lose yourself.
- 21:12Speaker 4: But did you guys see the meme of the Panthers
- 21:18Speaker 4: and the Saints kissing with Todd Bowles in the box
- 21:21Speaker 4: in the cock chair.
- 21:23Speaker 5: No, thank you for that, though I did not.
- 21:27Speaker 3: It was so good. I know I liked it.
- 21:29Speaker 4: I'll have to find it and send it in our
- 21:31Speaker 4: slack because I thought it was so funny.
- 21:34Speaker 1: It is very on brand for the NFC South. The
- 21:36Speaker 1: two top teams in the NFC South to lose this
- 21:39Speaker 1: week the exact same week to the bottom teams in
- 21:43Speaker 1: the NFC South, So that was one of the other ones.
- 21:46Speaker 1: Already talked about. The Seahawks and the Colts. The Seahawks
- 21:50Speaker 1: struggling to put an old man, Philip Rivers away, and
- 21:55Speaker 1: let's see anything else.
- 21:56Speaker 2: Oh well, yeah, well we had the Lions in the Rams.
- 21:59Speaker 1: The Rams put it who The Detroit Lions spent some
- 22:02Speaker 1: time without Pokinakua in this game. DeVante Adams went down
- 22:05Speaker 1: with a hamstring injury and still their running attack is
- 22:09Speaker 1: so good. The combo of Kyon Williams and Blake Korum
- 22:13Speaker 1: is the element of this team that we have not
- 22:16Speaker 1: discussed enough. Stafford's been great. The receivers are awesome. The
- 22:20Speaker 1: defense is top three in the NFL. But those running
- 22:23Speaker 1: backs are really, really good.
- 22:24Speaker 2: You did say one name.
- 22:26Speaker 5: I'm a buyer, of course, he said one keyword. You said,
- 22:28Speaker 5: receivers are good. I'm expecting at least DeVante not to
- 22:31Speaker 5: be there on Thursday night, soame right. Yeah, So I mean,
- 22:35Speaker 5: we'll see about that. And Pooka got hurt, but he
- 22:37Speaker 5: should he it was just cramped.
- 22:38Speaker 2: He'll be came back into the game.
- 22:40Speaker 5: Yeah, Rams right now, laying one and a half in Seattle.
- 22:43Speaker 5: It looks like the current line on Thursday night football.
- 22:46Speaker 5: And honestly, the way the NFL works and how bad
- 22:49Speaker 5: Seattle looked today, Seattle's probably a decent bet. But we'll
- 22:53Speaker 5: see what happens.
- 22:54Speaker 2: The Browns.
- 22:57Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, there you go.
- 22:58Speaker 1: And then one other thought, we had the Packers and
- 23:00Speaker 1: the Broncos. The Broncos just continue to not be the
- 23:04Speaker 1: sharp side going into these games, and then they win.
- 23:08Speaker 2: They cover this.
- 23:10Speaker 1: This is a very difficult team to figure out. Bo
- 23:14Speaker 1: Nicks throws a very catchuble football is one of my
- 23:16Speaker 1: big takeaways from this game. But NFL Totals have to
- 23:20Speaker 1: be the toughest market to read. I wanted an under
- 23:23Speaker 1: in this game. I didn't wind up taking it. I'm
- 23:25Speaker 1: so glad that I didn't. You have two top defenses
- 23:27Speaker 1: in the NFL, two teams that like to kind of
- 23:30Speaker 1: grind it out in terms of their pace playoff like
- 23:32Speaker 1: Atmosphere cold weather, the unders taking money the whole week,
- 23:37Speaker 1: and then the oversmashes. This is why me and NFL totals,
- 23:43Speaker 1: it's like oil and water. So I'm glad that I
- 23:45Speaker 1: was able to stay away because that was when I
- 23:47Speaker 1: was eyeing the entire week.
- 23:51Speaker 4: The Broncos still don't scare me in the postseason, though,
- 23:53Speaker 4: Like if I'm like an NFL team, it doesn't really
- 23:58Speaker 4: matter if it's a Homer away.
- 23:59Speaker 3: Game, I don't. They don't scare me. Do they scare
- 24:02Speaker 3: anybody else? Are you intimidated by them?
- 24:04Speaker 2: Intimidated?
- 24:05Speaker 1: No? But they will they That's one of those teams
- 24:08Speaker 1: that might just might just find their way into the
- 24:11Speaker 1: super Bowl when it's all said and done.
- 24:13Speaker 3: Imagine Bonick's super Bowl champion. I would literally vomit.
- 24:18Speaker 2: Any thoughts on either of those.
- 24:20Speaker 5: I was gonna say today, did give you guys back
- 24:22Speaker 5: your Christmas nights? Since Denver's and Kansas City, Uh so
- 24:25Speaker 5: you probably don't need to watch that one as closely
- 24:28Speaker 5: as you might have, because a Casey win today, they
- 24:30Speaker 5: would have beaten Tennessee and you know, things probably would
- 24:33Speaker 5: have mattered for them in that game, but not so
- 24:35Speaker 5: much anymore. I don't know. I mean, Denver's defense is
- 24:39Speaker 5: so freaking good week to week, and even with the
- 24:42Speaker 5: points put up by Green Bay today, like it's not
- 24:44Speaker 5: like exactly what Denver's defense is. The pressure they have,
- 24:48Speaker 5: the secondary they have like week to week, it's a
- 24:51Speaker 5: dominant piece. And when you see Sutton and Franklin and
- 24:54Speaker 5: Mims like everything starts to roll, They're gonna be very
- 24:57Speaker 5: tough to beat. So it's hard not to believe in Denver.
- 25:01Speaker 5: My long shot super Bowl pick I put on pods
- 25:03Speaker 5: in the preseason was Denver and Philly, and I don't
- 25:06Speaker 5: know how I backed into that one.
- 25:08Speaker 1: Wow, And that is kind of live right now, yeah,
- 25:11Speaker 1: kind of We are gonna skip. We're gonna skip a
- 25:15Speaker 1: Sunday night football breakdown because we already have the Vikings.
- 25:19Speaker 2: That was one of the legs of our parlay.
- 25:22Speaker 1: Of course, the parlay that snapped because of the Browns
- 25:27Speaker 1: plus seven and a half wasn't even close. But my
- 25:30Speaker 1: nomination was the Minnesota Vikings plus five. We got it
- 25:34Speaker 1: in the parlay at plus six and a half because
- 25:36Speaker 1: we bought an extra point. So that'll be our play
- 25:39Speaker 1: as a show for tonight before we get to Monday
- 25:41Speaker 1: Night Football. I'm gonna toss it to gender for a
- 25:43Speaker 1: word about DraftKings.

- 26:09Speaker 4: back in bonus bets. If your bet wins, the crown
- 26:12Speaker 4: is yours.
- 26:13Speaker 1: Let's get to our Draft Kings Monday Night Football fast
- 26:16Speaker 1: pass parlay before we settle in for Cowboys Vikings. Tonight,
- 26:20Speaker 1: we're talking Dolphins Steelers. Steelers minus three at home total
- 26:26Speaker 1: sitting at forty two and a half. My nomination is
- 26:29Speaker 1: going to be for a backup running back for the
- 26:30Speaker 1: Miami Dolphins. I'm going Jalen Wright over seventeen and a
- 26:34Speaker 1: half rushing yards. Eight Chan has been on the injury
- 26:36Speaker 1: report all week. He is gonna play, it looks like,
- 26:38Speaker 1: but he's dealing with a rib injury that could pop
- 26:41Speaker 1: up at any time, and I think they're gonna give
- 26:43Speaker 1: the Steelers a nice steady dose of the ground game
- 26:46Speaker 1: either way, no chance they put this game into his hands.
- 26:50Speaker 1: It's gonna be nineteen degrees twenty four carries for Jalen
- 26:53Speaker 1: Wright last week. He's clearly taken over the backup role,
- 26:56Speaker 1: and the Dolphins are tied for the most rush attempts
- 26:58Speaker 1: per game in the NFL over the last four weeks.
- 27:02Speaker 2: So I'm gonna go over seventeen and a half.
- 27:03Speaker 1: I can be talked into in anytime touchdown for him,
- 27:08Speaker 1: which is three to one. But I'm gonna nominate for
- 27:10Speaker 1: the parlay over seventeen and a half rushing yards for
- 27:13Speaker 1: the backup running back Kendra off.
- 27:15Speaker 3: To you eastole my thunder.
- 27:16Speaker 4: I just had a chan for in anytime minus one
- 27:19Speaker 4: oh five because with the injury, this was the best
- 27:21Speaker 4: price we were gonna probably get him at for the
- 27:24Speaker 4: foreseeable future unless something insane happens.
- 27:28Speaker 3: So that's why I went with that.
- 27:29Speaker 4: And Plus, when it's a parlay, I don't mind taking
- 27:31Speaker 4: like a one minus one oh five situation for a
- 27:34Speaker 4: prop just because you're obviously adding other things. But it's
- 27:37Speaker 4: just so as someone who lives in the Northeast, it
- 27:39Speaker 4: is cold as hell outside, They're gonna run the ball
- 27:42Speaker 4: into the ground.
- 27:43Speaker 3: It doesn't matter who it's gonna be. But I'm just
- 27:45Speaker 3: gonna go with the safest option because it's a parlay.
- 27:48Speaker 1: Yeah, and I think we can very much get home
- 27:51Speaker 1: on both of these. There's there's no reason why. I mean,
- 27:54Speaker 1: we were kind of leaning into the same.
- 27:56Speaker 2: Thought process process.
- 27:58Speaker 1: Yeah, just the Dolphins running the hell out of the football,
- 28:01Speaker 1: all right, Evan had a leg for us.
- 28:05Speaker 2: I'm gonna slam this together on the app.
- 28:07Speaker 5: I was gonna do Ali Gordon, but you kind of
- 28:09Speaker 5: stole the stole the thunder of the prospect of the pick,
- 28:14Speaker 5: and in the cold, Ali Gordon touchdown kind of felt right,
- 28:16Speaker 5: but we'll go separate. Adam Feelen touchdown will be what
- 28:20Speaker 5: we add to this parlay. Rogers a week of extra practice.
- 28:24Speaker 5: He you know, he loves his tight end, so trying
- 28:27Speaker 5: to choose between his three tight ends felt a little difficult.
- 28:30Speaker 5: If I had to choose one, it'd probably be Friar remooth.
- 28:32Speaker 5: I saw that Washington cleared concussion protocol, but who the
- 28:37Speaker 5: heck knows? So Adam thelen atd let's roll all.
- 28:41Speaker 1: Right, Adam Theeeling, by the way, adds some nice, some
- 28:45Speaker 1: nice wiggle room for us here on the parlay. He's
- 28:49Speaker 1: plus eight hundred to score a touchdown, so we've got
- 28:51Speaker 1: what I put Jalen right at fifteen plus in there,
- 28:54Speaker 1: especially since we're taking the long shot on the touchdown.
- 28:57Speaker 1: Adam Thelin anytime touchdown, Devon, anytime touchdown your draft Kings
- 29:03Speaker 1: fast past parlay twenty three to one over on draft
- 29:07Speaker 1: Kings where the crown is yours.
- 29:11Speaker 2: That's gonna do it.
- 29:12Speaker 4: We get the luckier we get with these I fear listen, this.
