- The Drama Drop: Hey guys, welcome back to the drama drop. We have a packed episode today. Brooks Nader has the internet debating family vacation etiquette. Let's Marry Harry has some questionable editing to explain. House Stasi is giving me way more than I expected. And we do have a serious update on Perez Hilton, but there's a lot to yap about. So get ready because the drama drops now. Guys, I just have to talk about this off the gate because this has not left my mind since I first saw it on my feed because I could not believe my eyes. Okay. I don't know if it's just like American culture that finds it bizarre and it's a lot more normal over in Europe, but is Brooke Nader okay? I'm sure you guys have all seen it. You there's no way you haven't because I feel like everybody is just kind of. Very confused, but Brooke Snater is in Europe with her family. Okay. Amazing. Love that for her. But she's on a yacht or boat, whatever. I don't know the logistics. All that I know and all that I care about is the fact that she is topless with her family. Not just her family, not like it's just her sisters and mom and whatever. Her father is out on that boat with Brooke Snater. Topless? Do they do that in Europe? Like, does the whole family just get all in their birthday suit and go gallivanting the ocean and the beaches? And it's just another, just another normal day. I just have so many thoughts about it. I can't stop thinking about it because I just feel like it's very weird. And I don't know how she doesn't find it weird. How nobody else in the family found it weird. No, the dad wasn't like. Brooks, what are you doing? Go put on a top. There's like a plethora, like a little carousel going around on all the T pages of just her jumping in the ocean, topless, her hanging out on the boat, laughing with her dad. Her dad's like right there. And I just I don't really understand why that would be a thing. I know nudity is normalized in Europe and it's a lot more accepted. I guess I never really thought of what happens when it's with your family, how the logistics work when it's, you know, the do's and don'ts of that being okay with your family. so the fact that obviously like she's not European, you know, sh that's not her norm and this is what she's doing. I just find it extremely bizarre. And from the pictures, she was the only one that was nude. Not that that would make it any less weird if the other ones were if her siblings were nude, but like what? I don't know. I don't know. Am I just overthinking this? I mean, I know obviously, and I know it's not just me because there's so many people that are like, is she okay? Check on her. Especially because her family is known for being pretty like reserved, conservative. I mean, she even talked about how growing up she wasn't allowed to wear two pieces, but now all of a sudden we can just be nude. Absolutely insanity. And I know That her family, like she specifically, you know, shock value, anything for attention, whatever, get the people talking. But this I feel like just is I just can't even conceptualize it. I can't, my brain can't process it and find any sort of rationale behind it because I just feel like it's so bizarre on so many levels, and it's just really uncomfortable, and it's also just really uncomfortable. That her dad's not like, what are you doing? This is weird. No, go put on, go put on a top. I don't know. I mean, obviously I wasn't there on the boat to hear what the conversations were. But I mean, I don't know. I just would think as a father, it's like absolutely not. If that's what you're gonna go do, I'm gonna go way down below deck. then when you're done being all nude, let me know so I can come out. But I just I don't know, I don't know. But there's some people, literally, there are some people out there defending this, saying, It's fine. They're in Europe. It's fine. No, no. I'm sorry. There is no situation in which a grown woman, grown woman and her family, specifically her father, is just nude. I I'm failing to see the logic here. I'm failing to see any sort of rationale thought with this. It's strange. And I hope someone asks her about it. I don't even know what excuse or reasoning she could come up with to make it be like, okay. Yeah, that makes sense. We'll we'll look past that. But I and the f what's funny too, it's like I don't really know much about Brooke Snater and her family. I know she had that show. I never really dabbled. I just kind of know of her f just from like, you know, obviously she's in the media, entertainment, whatever, and her name just kind of comes out and about. But I had to Google to make sure that was her father. Like me and my husband were in a debate. He was like, No, this is not her dad. Like, she look how much older she is and like how this guy like there's no way that a no, like, so I had to Google to verify because I sent it to all the people that I felt it was necessary to show this to, to be like, please tell me this is not her father. Please say I AI, please say psych, because this is just unacceptable and it's just like the weirdest freaking thing ever. Like, I don't care. I don't care what way you spin it. You can try to convince me all day, all night, whatever. I will never not think that this is the weirdest thing ever. And, you know, like it's something that like if I ever get amnesia, dementia, whatever, like I will remember this one because I I don't know. The strangest thing, the strangest thing. Like, I don't care how close you are with your family. Like it's just very, very odd. So yeah. So like I said, I didn't I don't really know much about her and her family, but seeing that. Maybe that was the p point, the plan to get people that don't really know. I don't know. But it's very odd. And if you don't think so, I'm I'm really worried about you. But, you know, whatever, I guess, to each their own. That one will never be me. I will never consider it any sliver of normal, don't care what part of the country. no, it's just very strange. Okay, moving on into other internet, things that are going on. I'm sure by now you guys know everything that is going on with Perez Hilton. And it is a very sad, unfortunate situation. You know, I feel like new things are developing as the day goes on. and kind of how I found out about it is not even through my phone, not even through social media. My husband, he informed me about this. I was just working and he was like, hey, came in my office Did you hear about Perez Hilton? And I'm like, no. And he actually was up during like when the live was going on. I mean, he didn't come across the live on his TikTok. but he saw the actual video of it. And so for those of you who don't know, or I'm just gonna kind of, you know, really high level overview is you know, Perez was on TikTok live and he was trigger warning doing self-harm. In a very vicious, gruesome way that no one should ever have to see or experience or whatever. It's very clear that there was a lot of mental health issues going on. Maybe I mean, I don't want to diagnose anything, but just like there was something going on. Like that was just not normal behavior. And anyways, so obviously, like this is all going on. You know, people are doing the screen grabs, their screen recording. You know, when anything big happens, people that are so quick. They're so quick, like they know that this is not going to stay on the internet forever or whatever. But it's like we need to have some sort of evidence because a live, you know, it's not recorded. So somebody has to record lives that go on on TikToks. That's how things like resurface sometimes. But, you know, people were doing that obviously, and I wouldn't go searching for it. I haven't got gone searching for it. As a very curious person, and trust me, like I am just so curious that it is not good for me as much as it's something that I don't want to see. I'm just almost that much more curious about it and I will seek something out. but this is something that I haven't sought out. But just from what people talk about, it's like it's almost nowhere to be found. I will say I have seen you know, where it's kind of blurred, the screen's blurred. You can see red, but you can't really actually see what's going on. Very disturbing. Very disturbing. so, anyways, he comes into my office and tells me that he was like, Well, first promise me you're not gonna look this up. Like I saw this last night after you went to bed. So I was already in a REM cycle. I was dreaming about precious, innocent, angelic things while my husband is just consuming things that are just dark and you know, very heavy. and the fact that he didn't think to wake me up is actually very freaking rude. And cause I would have probably perked up, not to be excited, but just kind of, what? What is going like you this is go w excuse me? Can't even wrap my mind around it. But so he tells me that, you know, all of this went down and the cops were called, all this, like he was almost just wanting the cops to take him out. Basically just having a psychotic breakdown. And it's really interesting to me because I'm not a huge follower of Perez Hilton. I don't even think I follow him on any social media platform. But a very niche thing is that he will go on live with fellow TikTok influencers. And when I say influencers, it's kind of funny when you think of the scale. Cause to me, like I would say micro influencer because they are not, you know, it's not like Alex Earl level or you know, it just like the level of if something were to happen for them that there would be an article or another video about it. It's just kind of like a niche audience, even though they have millions of followers, but they have drama going on. He'll go on live with them and kind of stir up some drama. And, you know, I just get wrapped right up into their little storylines. And so not that long ago, I was watching TikTok lives with him and he was having these people on and just kind of like almost like an interview, like asking them questions. Sure was he maybe he's trying to stir the little pot, but he was Doing what we all want to know is like asking these questions, trying to get them to answer and just kind of spill the tea, whatever. so it was kind of interesting that like all of this chain of events was happening. And then I did know like just I guess from watching those, I would get other tidbits of just updates. And he had a lot of health issues going on. I mean, he had an ulcer and then he was in the hospital because he had sepsis. Like he was kind of just going through it medically. And you know, he was coming like once he would get home, you know, he was talking about how he's just kind of like changing perspective, becoming more religious and all of this stuff. So it's kind of weird because it's not anybody that I ever religiously followed or paid attention to. It was just kind of a brief thing, and then not that much longer, this happens. And, you know, I was telling my husband, I was like, my gosh, that's so crazy because I did know that he had some health issues, not just like not mental health, but it was like he had health issues. He was in the hospital and I know he had sepsis and I know he was super sick. Like it was a big thing. And he came out and he was talking about it and he just looked very frail. you know, not just like his normal stirring the pot type self. so yeah, so it was just kind of crazy that this happened. And anyways, we looked it up. Apparently, there is something now is This is what led to this. I don't know. I'm not claiming that until something comes out. But there is a thing called post sepsis syndrome, where I think it said like 50% of people can have, you know, experience hallucinations, psychotic breaks almost, paranoia, whatever. And I'm almost just wondering, you know, I don't know the timeline, like how quickly something like that happens if you do experience post sepsis syndrome, but I mean, that is I don't know. I don't know if that's linked at all. But as we all know, you know, he just had a very disturbing evening and he's hospitalized. thank goodness though, that I don't know. I mean, I kind of go back and forth on thank goodness or not, because his family was there. And when all of that started, you know, they took cause he has three children, they took the kids out, thank goodness, and obviously called the cops. Had the kids not been there or like no one been there, like I don't know if had cops gotten to them s to him sooner. Don't know what that would have looked like. and also thank goodness that there was somebody there to take these children out because who knows what could have happened to them. You know, it's just a very scary situation. And you know, obviously like doing something so insidious and dark to yourself, and then like having an audience, if you will, like Clearly, there is just, I feel like something taking a hold of you, like you are not your own self. and just who knows what else could have happened. but yeah, so I mean, at this stage of all these developments that are coming out, he's still in the hospital. He's obviously had to have like extensive surgery. He had a lot of blood loss. Like, I mean, he really did. Damage to himself. And like I said, I didn't see the video, but I just saw like a still image. And I mean, the best way to describe it is literally the movie Carrie, you know, the scene. Don't need to describe it. Like that's pretty much what I got from the image. And it's just, it's really sad. and so yeah, so I guess his family said that all of this happened before the TikTok live began. I don't know what sparked. Him to go on TikTok live. Like I just, I don't know. I mean, obviously, we won't know until if he ever feels comfortable speaking out about it. I don't even know if he has any recollection. Cause you know, there's so many times people go through something like this, they have no memory of it even happening to recall the events. Like, I don't know if it's an outer body experience or what, but it is just, it's very, very sad. But yeah, I guess there had been signs that he has been dealing with personal and mental health struggles like before all of this. you know, in late 2025, he even publicly discussed body dysmorphia, feelings of failure during one of his live streams. but there hasn't really been like a isolated reason as to why all of this occurred. And I just hopefully that, you know, he'll be on. Better path, a better treatment plan. I hope that whatever is the root cause of this is figured out. You know, again, like I said, I don't know if it has anything to do with the sepsis, but yeah, I just find it very, very interesting. I do know that his mom is trying to gain custody of the kids, which I think is highly necessary, needed the best thing for them. It's so unfortunate that obviously like they were taken out of the home. Pretty quickly, which thank goodness. Don't know what all they saw, what they all were exposed to and what they heard. But I just can only imagine at especially at that young age, like that's gonna stick with you. And I feel like you just kind of would always I don't know, I don't wanna put words into it, but at least for me, I feel like I would always be kind of scared of my parent. It's like, okay, are they gonna flip a switch at any point in time? Because you know, this is all like new developments. Cause I would assume just based on his mom taking action now that it had something like this happened prior, she would have put in the effort to have custody of his kids. But yeah, I think I think that's absolutely necessary to do until he's in a stable condition and gets a lot of help. something that I did find super interesting. Was that he had a friend come out, like this like dropped yesterday, telling him that he is ex-gay, that he is no longer considered gay, like a gay man. I don't know what that's about. He his the insider said that he was very serious about it. It wasn't a joke or something that he he just said once. like he was actively telling people that he was no longer gay. I don't know if that has also anything to do with everything that is just transpired. Like clearly there is a lot of turmoil mentally that he is going through. There's a lot of issues that he has with himself. and I will be very curious if he will ever come out to share some of that. And it's just very scary and it's just really weird too, because you know, when you think of Perez Hilton, like this is somebody And I'm not minimizing anything that he's done, but like this is somebody that ha built a career off people in their lowest moments. You know, like I did I will say, you know, back in the day, when it was still like MySpace era, he had his little website and he would update his little blog and just like talk about all these different celebrities and just like anything that was going on in their life would draw a picture. Like, you he it was just like. An unnecessary blog, but I mean it was entertaining nonetheless. Like, I'm not going to deny it. I was absolutely on that page. Did I ever necessarily agree with anything? No, I was just, I'm just so nosy. Okay. Like, let's just be honest. Like, I am the person, like, I love to go on Reddit and I love to read snark pages. Even if it's people that I love, if it's people that I am fans of, I love to just see what people nitpick about and what their opinions are, which honestly, listen, I think that's actually that's that's valid, right? Like, To get multiple perspectives, whether you agree with it or not, which is something that this country seriously lacks on. but I mean, that's a story for another day. But I I think it's important to get, you know, just like differing opinions and kind of mm gain perspective on like what other people how they view things. It's very interesting to like see a situation and hear somebody think completely different of it than that. So, anyways, what I'm trying to say is, you know, it's just interesting because it's like he has been around for such a long time and built his career off people's lowest moments or things that they're going through and kind of just, you know, making a living off of it. And and you know, that could you you could one could argue that that could stem from self-hatred, you know, what do people always say? It's like the bully at the school, you know, that means like there's something going on deeper, something maybe going on at home. They're getting it elsewhere. Maybe an older sister. You know, it's like that could makes sense, you know, but and then, you know, it's like he's kind of maybe trying to turn himself around and realizing that maybe that's not the kind of path he wants to continue to take. And then just these health things are going on. and he's now he's obviously at a very, very low and scary moment. And I just really hope for himself, for his children that that all gets under control and he's able to find some peace. Like I don't know. I feel like stepping out of the media is probably the best thing for him because I mean he's been in it for a really long time and been in it in such a dark space where it's just constantly going after people essentially or calling people out or, you know, just pulling a lot of like dark things out of people, or putting them on blast, I should say. So yeah, I mean, I will continue to talk about the developments of this and just have a lot of empathy for him. And I just yeah, continue to like pray for him because like no one deserves to go through all of that or hit that type of low point that that's seems to be a reasonable option on what to do. okay moving on because I Up until this point, I have finished Let's Marry Harry on Netflix. Okay. I'm recording this before I have watched the finale. So by the time you're seeing this, you could have watched the finale. By the time this airs, I will have watched the finale. also, too, which I didn't know because I was going to talk about this, but I wasn't sure. But then I found out that there will be a reunion and that will be coming out August 26th. But, anyways, okay. So I finished Let's Marry Harry and I There's just a lot that I really want to talk about with this because here's the thing. Like my mind, like I just had so many thoughts. And of course, you know, once the show drops, like you get more information, you get more tidbits. But like let me just before I get into kind of all like the nitty-gritty of it, I just wanna address the fact of why are we doing this? Does Harry really need this type of show? And, you know, I'm all for it in terms of entertainment. But do people like do they think genuinely that we fully think that this is legitimate? Not saying that maybe he didn't legitimately get married or anything like that, but I'm just trying to process like, okay, you think who you marry on this show is legit, like it's going to have longevity. Like you're gonna see a really long life with them. And that is completely opposite like of my thoughts with you know things like Love is Blind or even Love Island or whatever. Like when you're going into those shows more blind like no one really has any sort of status, that is a little bit different. And obviously, you there's like The Bachelor, Bachelorette. It's like these people aren't really already famous. I mean, sure you take one from the next season, whatever, but you know they're not already famous. So in my mind I'm just like Does he really think like he's going to find somebody? You know, it's almost parallel to shows like back in the day on VH1 MTV, Rock of Love, Flavor of Love, Tila Tequila, like Double Shot of Love, all of those like shows. It's like, do they truly think someone that is already in the entertainment world has presence in the media? Like, do they genuinely think that they're just gonna pick somebody? Out of this random little pod of people and it's like, yeah, they're my life or they're my wife for forever that I don't really understand. And I mean, again, did it get me to watch? Absolutely. And I'm sure that's the reason why all of you guys watch. It's like, okay, let's see what's truly going on in this. I needed to see, and of course, you know, it's all I really just I've done the whole party. F-boy scene, like, I want to find a wife. I'm ready to settle down, have a family. You know, you hear the whole shebang and all that. Like, we we get all of that. But it's just interesting because it's like every TV show that he's been on has pretty much been centered around the fact that he's the guy that can't commit. He's the one that stirs up trouble. He can't settle down. He's such a flirt. And now all of a sudden. He's ready for a family. He's ready to marry somebody that he won't know for longer than a month. And I just find that actually so insane. But what's crazier to me is that I've learned, which and I guess this does make sense to a degree because it's like you don't want to just recruit people that are only coming on the show because it is Harry. But yeah, they didn't know who they were going on the show for. It was just, you know, like this dating show, whatever. and I think it's kind of interesting too, because if I'm reading it correctly, some of the women too didn't know that it was legitimately you get married at the end. Like that that is what it's not like proposal and then you know, later on you get married or break up, whatever. It's like, no, you're getting married at the end. Which I think is actually crazy. But okay, so if we go on the view of that these women didn't know that it's going to be Harry, which does make sense to a degree. But then when it's like, okay, great, Harry comes out and it's all the women. And then I just find it so interesting that they're all like, my gosh, I can't wait to get to know him. Like I just blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Do you not one single girl was like, I'm out. Not one of them. They all all of a sudden, it's like all of these 20 women are like, yes, like I just really think like we'll be such a good match. Like I definitely can see myself with Harry. this makes so much sense. I'm so excited to get to know him. And, you know, I want to come and meet my future husband. Which, okay, yeah, go into it with an open mind. Like, you don't really know. But it's just kind of like not one person was like, This doesn't seem correct. Mmm, you know, not one. But whatever. I mean, you know, you're on a TV show, so you gotta like play it up, which, yeah, I guess that I guess that makes sense. But I also find it crazy too. It's like, you know, The Bachelor, they do roses, right? But all these women, they're already all considered fiancés, okay? And they have this engagement ring, like that's what they're wearing. Like that's like pretty much their ticket of being on the show when they're done, they have to get give that engagement ring back. And I just feel like all of this takes away the magic of finding your person, getting proposed to, seeing the ring, and getting married. You know, it's like you're already, you're already getting this. And I read somewhere that the apparently, you know, whenever these women were going through the process, the interview, like setting everything up, they were describing what their dream was ring would look like. So that's kind of how all of that got figured out for them. So it's like you're curating your whole marriage and proposal all I don't know. I I just feel like that takes away some of the magic with truly getting married and getting engaged. but I just, you know, I don't know. I don't know. I'm trying to think what I would do in that situation. I mean, honestly, let's be honest. It's like, all right, I'm already on the show. Let's ride it out. but I just think the whole premise of it is crazy that all of a sudden, you know, you may not know who the person is that you're trying to fall in love with, but then not one person is like, I know his history. That makes me a little nervous. probably not. Probably not. And I and there was a twenty-seven-year-old girl on there. She had never been with anybody intimately. And she's trying to fall in love with Harry. I not that that can't those two worlds can't combine, c collide, meet, and blossom into something beautiful, but it's like Harry's not gonna be waiting around. I mean, I guess on the t like I hold on, let me back up. I guess on the timeline of four weeks, and then you guys get married, then yeah, I'm sure that timeline could work for him. But like, you know the pace that Harry moves. You didn't, once that guy came out, you weren't like, ooh, like I am saving myself until marriage. Like this is important to me. I know the kind of guy he is. This does not work. But that's that's just my thought. another thought that I kind of found crazy Crazy is obviously we know we're no stranger to the show, like reality shows creating drama. Maybe cutting up a little bit of conversation to make things look more intense than what they are. Or maybe like, you know, leaving out something that somebody was that was said to kind of make one more person look more like the villain than the other. However, what I found crazy is Donnell, she Like what was it? Episode three, I wanna say. The episode was edited to make it looked like they had hooked up in the bathroom. Farther than, you know, just making out. And Harry, both of them addressed this. Like they just said that, it made it sound like they were being intimate. They were adding suggestive audio in the background. They were only making out. Like there was nothing that That was past making out. And he was he pretty much just said, you know, it's a TV show and every three days is one episode. So of course they're going to put crazy stuff in there. They need a big cliffhanger on the end of that episode to keep you hooked, to keep you watching. Again, the greatness of TV is to make something seem a little bit more exaggerated than they actually are. Yeah, we were literally just kissing in the closet in the earlier episodes. Hope that clears it up a bit. And she also confirmed that that was the case. But what I just think is crazy too, it's like You fully led us to believe that they were that they were very intimate with each other. And then so later on, we obviously know that he and Amber had hooked up and that was confirmed by both of them. And it's like, you see, Danelle, like she's like, Whoa, like that's crazy that they did that. But I I was thinking, I was like, girl, you did the same thing episode three. What are you talking about? Like, why are you like, my gosh. Well, the people don't know. That they hooked up on the show. The girls didn't know because that they lied, but they had suspicions. and so at that point, you know, they they were freaking out. But it wasn't revealed until after the show aired that everybody found out that that was the case. So I guess it makes a whole lot more sense because I was wondering why she was like, my gosh, there's no like that would be crazy when I had left with the perception that she Did that herself. I was like, what do you mean that would be crazy? You literally did that too. but yeah, I mean, thankfully, like she didn't seem upset about the scene, but I mean, it just goes to show you, like, we are further proven every single reality show that nothing is exactly what it seems. And that's exactly what I want to point out. I mean, especially just like doing this podcast and having the guests that I have come on and you know. They reveal things that you don't fully get the full picture on. And there's just so much more to every story, every situation. And it's just so easy to curate a storyline for people. And yeah, I don't know. It just really puts things into perspective. It also just I feel like makes watching reality TV a little less fun. Knowing all of that. I mean, I like that I know, but which is why, you know, I feel like a villain is Are they truly a villain? You know, like because somebody's gotta play that role, somebody's gotta play that character. That doesn't actually mean that they really are a villain. And we know every single thing about them and the ins and outs on as to why they are that the way that they are. But I just feel like when there's drama, like there's a huge, my gosh, moment, a jaw-dropping, like, whoa, like I can't believe that happened. Like when you don't get huge, like, world shattering things similar to Scandaval or you know Amanda Batullah Sierra West, like those types of things. Now it's just kind of like, well that probably wasn't even the way that that was. And I hate kind of having that lens. I feel like it takes the excitement out of reality TV. Just it really just drops it down several notches for me. But I mean, that doesn't mean I'm ever gonna stop. But I just I don't know. I mean, I can appreciate that you're creating a storyline for sure. And then, you know, you want to come out and you wanna clear the air. Cause I guess he didn't even know. Harry didn't even know that that was the kind of edit that that was being shown. They were twisting things that way. which is just kind of crazy. Like for his own show that that was just even a thing. But yeah, yeah, it's it's it's really interesting. and another thing too, just kind of Continuing on the whole narrative of, you know, not one single person was like, okay, maybe this isn't for me. I mean, Rakaya did. Wasn't that she didn't necessarily have no interest in Harry. She just wasn't getting feeling like reciprocated back. And she was like, okay, I don't want to waste my time, which kudos to her for doing that. But it is just still so interesting. It's like, okay, so now every all the girls know that it's Harry and They're continuing on with this journey. And the time is so short. The timeline is so short. I think if I remember correctly, it's like four weeks. Okay. Timeline is so short. And you are so set on the fact that, like, I do see myself with Harry, or I could see myself with Harry. Like I'm really liking him and yada yada yada. Some people are throwing the love word around, which I'm just like, I'm sorry. Are we okay? So I need to know. I need to have them on the pod because I need them to explain themselves. Like, did you actually feel love? Were you feeling pressured maybe by producers? Like, did they pick out some of the people to be like, I need them to kind of push this narrative a little bit more to make it more intense? but you know, I just don't understand how every single person all of a sudden just likes the same person. Maybe when you're in a bubble, it's a little bit different, but I'm like, my gosh, like this just is not. Real. You know what I mean? It's just not real. And I I don't know. And then another thing too, it's like, Is he just really good at creating chemistry? Because I mean, here's the thing. I just keep sounding like a broken record, but like we know his history. We know the type of women he's able to get gorgeous, beautiful women that have so much going for them. Not saying that he doesn't deserve that, but I'm just saying, like, he literally doesn't have to do much. He's a huge flirt. I mean, like the girls even talk about it. It's like that intense. eye contact that he has. Is it is it actually chemistry with people? Or is he just really good at creating that, you know, environment with people? You know, just especially like one-on-ones. It's like making you feel like you're the only girl in the world, like the eye contact and being super flirty and just very like affectionate. And it's like that's gonna lure anybody in. But it's like, is that an actual chemistry? Like is that actual chemistry on all facets on all levels. I don't think it is, especially not in that short amount of time. There are some people that, you know, he had very serious conversations with. Like he really opened up about the death of his father and how much that truly impacted him. And you could see him getting very emotional. And he definitely connected with several of the other girls that maybe had similar situations or were able to open up. But I mean, just in such a short amount of time, like I just don't think You're getting all of that. And for somebody like Harry, not that he could do it now because obviously his voice would completely give it away. Or, you know, it could be on the scale of like, okay, these people know it's Harry, maybe, but he doesn't know the other people. Kind of like a love is blind situation. It's like there needs to be no interaction physically and No touches, no kisses, no cuddles, not even the eye contact. It's like, let's see him connect with people when there is a wall and he can't see what they look like. They can't see him. Like there is none of that. I would be so interested in that type of show. If we were to try this again, if there was a season two, if you're gonna ask me, if you're gonna put me in the boardroom to kind of figure out what are we gonna do for season two, because let's be honest. This marriage is not gonna last. There's just no way. I'm sorry. And I don't know if that's pessimist of me, not being optimistic or what. But I mean, I just, I truly, I don't right, right. Like I can't be the only one thinking it. I mean, I hope, I guess. I hope, like, if they truly found love within each other and they're like, we can go the distance. That's amazing. I want to be proven wrong, but I just feel like the whole situation, The timeline of it being super short, I just I don't know. I don't know. I don't buy it. I mean and as we all know, it's like he hasn't had an issue of getting people, women, to fall for him. He hasn't had no issues getting a girlfriend. but he's had issues with them staying with him. You know what I mean? Like he's had, like I said, the most gorgeous women and he can't get to stay. Like, I don't know. So yeah, it'll be it'll be very interesting. And then I mean, it's just kind of like the same with like the bachelor and the bachelorette. It's just like funny when the girls would get a little jealous if he was spending too much time with somebody or whatever. But it's like, that's what you signed up for. Like you did you think he was just gonna out of twenty girls look at you and be like, nope, it's just you and just hone in on you and not get anybody else a chance. So it's like, why put yourself in that environment? But you know, that also creates for a good storyline. but Yeah, I'm excited to watch the finale tonight. I do think I have a spoiler, but I'm not going to say that. I don't know because we haven't seen the finale, but I think I think I saw spoilers. But I'm excited to watch that and then I'm excited for the reunion. And then hopefully I have some gu some fun guests come on to talk about the show after the fact. But yeah, it'll be it'll be interesting. And then I don't know. I'm just really sorry. Like, let me go back one more second because I knew I was closing this out. But I just want to know why again. I want to know why. Like, I wanna know, because we all know he's a part of the Unwell Network, okay? And so Matt Kaplan and Alex Cooper produced this, okay. We know that she's very close with him. She was even on one of the episodes. But like I just want to know, was it like, how do we gain traction with the Unwell Network? Let's do a show. Cause I mean, Harry, he's been all over Netli Netflix. He's been on perfect match, too hot to handle. I don't know, maybe that's it. But he's just been all over the map. And yeah, I just want to know if it was just like, how do we amp up Unwell Network? Okay. Like maybe the other podcasts aren't doing that great. Okay, let's do this Netflix show. I I don't know. I don't know. It's just so weird to me. I'm just like, okay, you want a family, you want to create. like this perfect life. This is the route you're choosing. All these thirsty women, I shouldn't say that, but like, come on, let's be honest. Let's be honest. So, all right, we're moving on to other types of reality TV. Some that actually I feel like have a lot more authenticity. Okay. House of Stasi. Love it. I want to talk about it. Okay. I have not finished the entire season yet. Okay. So I am just speaking on episodes one through five of what I've gathered, how I feel, the information that has come to me from from episodes one through five. Okay. So whenever this first came out that she was going to be having a show, I was super excited because I I've talked about it here on the pod that I love Stassi Schroeder and I just love her through all of the errors of Eras of life that she's lived, you know, VPR being on the villa. I I think I've mentioned this, and if I haven't, I'm going to reiterate it. I've never seen her amazing race season with her family, but I did watch Queen Bees when she was on that show. It was on the In Network, okay? Because that's where I was all obsessed with Degrassi. And then they like a fun competition show of these teenage brats trying to basically reform themselves to become like good people and whatever. She was on there and Yeah, she is definitely a Queen Bee. So, and then when she showed up on my screen for Vanderpump, I'm like, that girl looks so familiar. And then I figured it out and I was like, whoa. So I've been watching her for a really long time and I just I love her. I love her. Okay. So super excited to see this show. And you know, she's kind of done a little podcast press tour about it. And she's been very transparent. I mean, we see it her being very transparent on the show. Talking about how, you know, she's like, if I'm going to do this, if I'm going to bring my friends, my family on this reality show, it's gotta be worth it. You know, she's not gonna become one of those spin-offs that just fail. You know, there's so many times where there's been spin-off shows and people get so excited and then it just doesn't live up to the hype, or it's just feels like it's really curated drama, really like overproduced, really try hard in drama. And if we know Stassi. Sure, she may be basic, but she is not a try hard, okay? She's so upfront. And that's just, I feel like what we all know and love for her. Or if you don't even love it, that's just what we know her to be. And you know, so she's made it very apparent that she's like, if I'm gonna do this show, like I'm gonna do it right. Like, we're not going to hide things. Like, if we're going to address situations, bring it up to me the first time when the cameras are rolling. Because I want my authentic, true reactions to show. I want that to come out. You know, and she even talks about it's like no one else has really been on reality TV. Obviously, you know, Katie Maloney's been on there, her husband's been on there. But like, let's be real, like she brings it. And so she's like, if this is going to be a show about me, my life, the people in my circle, I have to bring it. Like, there's no time for me to be lazy. You it's like on Vanderpump. Everybody else had their own psychotic moments. Okay. Everybody all had a storyline. Like pretty much everybody brought it. Like it was like I don't think there was really one person that truly lacked. And and that's pretty much what she says here. It's like I don't get a a break when it comes to this show. I can't just slip be like, like this person can handle the crazy today. and I can kind of like relax at this dinner. Like I have to bring it every single time, every single scene. And, you know, I really, you know. Reiterated that to my friends, my family that were going to be on the show. It's like, you have to be authentic, you know, bring things to the table. Don't hold back emotions, don't hold back feelings. It's basically like her therapy, which I appreciated. So just the different dynamics of the people. Let me just start with her and Bo. I was very shocked to see such low level energy from Bo, and not low level energy of like, he wasn't bringing anything to the show. More so I just what I remember of Bo on Vanderpump Rules was he was just like this goofy, fun loving guy, loved to go out. And you don't really see that on House of Straussy. You see a depleted, tired househusband, and he's exhausted, and he voices that. And you know, let's just get one thing straight here. A lot of people are having some feelings about this. They are feeling like Stossi's maybe been a little bit too harsh on Bo, a little too mean. Where? Where okay, great. He talks about how, you know, he is maybe tired of being home watching the kids, cooking, cleaning. And, you know, I'm not even gonna go on a whole mantra. Monologue of like, well, women have been doing that for so many years. Now it's our turn type of thing. I'm not even gonna go into all that. All I'm going to go into is the fact of, yeah, his feelings are valid. Stassi's out being the breadwinner, okay? Sh all of the fun things that she gets to do. But isn't that how most situations work? Like, you have the opportunity to live like this beautiful life. Like, being able to stay at home with the kids, handle the house, handle everything while your wife is getting to bring home the bacon, the bread winner. Sure, yeah, I guess, you know, you lose a little bit of an identity, but isn't that almost what most households kind of happen? Most households though, I feel like if they're not lucky enough to have one parent stay at home, both are working. And then everything else is just centered around the kids. I don't know. I mean, I just feel like that's just like a traditional household. And I just feel like it just shows that no matter what type of lifestyle you have or type of profession, that that just remains true in a family, in a in a growing family, like the two young kids. And, you know, he talks about how he wants to go back to work, he wants to go back into casting and all of that. And Stassi's like, why? Like I Make enough for you to be able to be home with the kids. Like, we don't need that right now. Maybe at some point, okay, he can get into that. Like when the kids are a little bit older. But people are just saying that, you know, she's just mean, like it's all about her. But like, let's be honest. Whatever way you want to slice it and dice it, whether it's like, okay, roles reversed, like the mom, the wife, that would be what the situation. Like, that's just a situation in every single household. It's either one person is staying home with the kids, with the family, being kind of like the homemaker, or two of the peop parents are both working, like both being exhausted, both, you know, and then having to like juggle kids' family, whatever. Like, there's not gonna ever be like a perfect situation had they have had they had a nanny, people would be complaining about that probably and being like, my gosh, wow, like they really can't pay attention to their kid. They have to have a nanny. I don't know. I just think, you know. Bo kind of knew what he was getting into with Stasi. Like she has not changed from the moment that they have met, at least to what we were able to be exposed to on Vanderpump to now. Like, you know, she's pretty much like, no, like I want to work, like I'm going to do XYZ. He knew what he was getting into, so it's kind of crazy. But, you know, I can appreciate that she did address, like, okay, I do need to be more affectionate because. She's just not an affectionate person. And, you know, Bo was able to express to her to her like, I need affection. I need, you know, some physical touch, like maybe a hug, like a kiss in the morning. And so I was happy that she was able to recognize, like, okay, yes, like I need to slow down. I need to pay more attention to you in that regard. Because I do think, you know, it probably is very easy, like when you just are going on clockwork. And you're just constant go, go, go, go, go. You just like forget about those little things. Like you start to like work like a machine. And I feel like the person who probably is more at home with the kids can sit in that a little bit more of like, ugh, like I don't feel as appreciated because the other person, like, yeah, they're providing in other ways, but it's like they just maybe feel so much more absent because they're doing the thing to provide in the other ways of like. House over your head, or you know, roof over your head, food on the table, clothes, whatever, being able to get to do fun things when the work does end. But, you know, needless to say, they're thriving. Okay. You know, she mentioned she was like, honestly, like it's crazy because you would think that this would have brought us maybe caused a wedge, but it brought us closer because the show was able to address situations that we weren't addressing without the show. Because, you know. you just easily can like brush things under the rug or it's like I don't have time to address that. But with the show we kinda had to face it head on and now they're like stronger because of it. so I love that. I haven't finished the season, like I said, and I know there's a lot of heightened emotions and he just does not feel like he's getting what he needs from her. But obviously somewhere along the lines, things get figured out. But I just think that Yeah, you know, some people go to therapy and then some people live their life on reality TV. And she is one of those people that I feel like is very the anomaly of reality TV. Like she's wanting it to be more real and dig into the things that are uncomfortable, which I can appreciate. And then we have her and her sister. gosh, her sister is such a treat. You know, I she she's her little sister, Georgie, and God, like I just hope she gets a little bit better. Entertaining for sure because she makes Stassi's head go on a swivel because Stassi's like, I cannot handle you. I'm helping you with every single aspect of your life, and you're just an ungrateful little brat. And she puts her in her place, and it's just, you know, I think it's a little bit different because it is sisters. So she's able to I mean, it's not that she wouldn't say that to anybody else, like her friends or whatever. But it is funny just like watching that dynamic. It's like, I'm basically your mother. Like I'm funding your life. I'm giving you a roof over your head. And then this is how you're treating me. Absolutely not. But I don't know, Georgie's a fun character. and I shouldn't say character because she is who she is. But I feel like it was it's fun that she has her sister on because she's so different than Stasi. And it's so fun to see a sibling dynamic of when they come from the same people and They have different personalities. They're very different how they view life. But yeah, she needs to step it up a little bit because, you know, she's wanting all these favors from Stasi and she can't even help out Bo when it comes to the kids, the house. And that's just not going to fly. And I just love that Stassi calls her out on it. Like somebody has to knock some sense into you. but Yeah, I don't know. That it's a fun, it's fun watching that sister dynamic. I mean, I've never sh had any interaction, not interaction, sorry, never like viewed an interaction really with her siblings and family too much, aside from the clips that we've seen on Vanderpump, but to kind of see a whole different side of how all that works, like, yeah. And I mean, it makes sense how Stasi's so just like uptight a little bit because Just seeing the chaos of all of her loved ones and they're just kind of like flying by the seat of their pants. I don't know. but then we move on to Katie Maloney, and obviously, you know, that is huge because they were on Vanderpump together. Okay. They were like a dynamic duo. I mean, it was really her, Katie and Kristen. Like they were like this trio, but you know, there was a lot more. I felt like relationship history that she had with Katie and but they also that much more had a lot more hurt within their friendship. And I think what it really boils down to is they both just had huge life things happen to them and they just kind of grew apart and then both, knowing their personalities, really stubborn, never took the time to kind of rekindle, hash it out, and kind of dissect all of it to kind of move forward. What I can appreciate about Stossi. I love it. Literally, like all of her confessionals are so good. They're s gold because she just like, I feel like breaks the fourth wall and just really tells us what we actually want to know. Not necessarily what we want to hear, but what we want to know. Does that even make sense to you guys? But she's like, I need Katie Maloney. I haven't talked to this chick in so long. She hurt me so bad. You know, she was basically saying like she got fired from Vanderpump and then she was pregnant and she just went through really hard stuff. And then Katie, she's talking about her divorce. Neither of them really took the time to like understand what each other was going through to be there for each other. It was more just selfish mentality, I feel like, but they never addressed it. They just kind of ghosted each other and just kind of went on for years. But Stasi can recognize like, if I am going to make a good show, I need Katie Maloney. And I don't disagree with her. Whether you love her or hate her. You know, she is very much of a mixed fan base. She does bring good reality TV. And hers is like such a different type of vibe, I feel like that she brings because as much as people can't stand her, her, she has like such a calmness about her. It's like there could be so much drama going on and she'll call you out. But like her demeanor is just very like, mm-hmm, mm-hmm. Whereas, you know, Stossy, she will. sit there and then it's just snap, like, you know, zero to a hundred. I don't I mean, sure, like Katie had her moments in like tequila Katie in the earlier seasons of Vanderpump, but I just feel like more so now she's just a lot more like, yeah, okay, but going to call you out, not going to back down, calls it like I see it type of thing. You know, we know that quote. But yeah, I just appreciate it. So She was able to get Katie to commit to the show, to agree to it. And, you know, I can appreciate it because all of other Stassi's friends, you we have Taylor Shreker, Christina Kelly, and they're like, that's so weird. What is Katie doing here? how convenient. She's coming back around. And Stassi's like, actually, I'm gonna stop you right there because I'm the one that asked Katie. I'm the one that asked Katie, we really, really want to look at it. It was me being like, Katie, please, I need you. Katie wasn't calling me. She wasn't knocking at my door, being like, hey, I hear you have this show going on. Let me get back into this. No, it was all me. And that's what I love about Stasi. She's like, I know I need this girl. We haven't talked in years. We can probably figure that out. And what better way to do that than on the show? But I know I need her. And that's just what I love. I love that she's giving and she knows that she can do that and she can produce. And it's just been a really fun show. I I love watching it and I can't wait to finish it. Cause like I said, I've only gotten up to episode five. I feel like there were hints that there's another season that's like good to go, like in the works, like maybe happening. but we'll see. You know, I I don't know. I just don't know. And, you know, she says it too. She's like, you know, most people would think that this would be crazy for my me and my family and everything. Like that could create more harm than not. But, you know, she also reiterates that. It she doesn't like to go to therapy. Like she doesn't feel like it really helps anything. And she feels like in a weird way, you know, where most people need therapy from reality TV. She's like, reality TV is my therapy because it forces me to address things. And I can understand that because Stasi's, you know, the type of person it's just like, you can just hold that stuff in. I relate to that very much. Like I know how to just move on, like process like just keep going. You know, like I don't sit and harbor in it and crumble and just like become a shell of myself and become a victim of something and like only just relish in this and like, my gosh, woe is me. You just kinda have to keep living. And then maybe things just like never get resolved. But with this reality T V show, she can do that. So and we get entertained at the same time. But but yeah, so That was a lot of reality TV, a lot of internet drama that I had to dissect with you all. But, you know, I have to end it on my chic and week of the week. So don't think I forgot about that because I absolutely haven't. we'll start off strong. We'll go with my chic, okay? Guys, the Lux Unfiltered Cooling Eye Patches, absolutely chic. I literally, I love them so much. Like I love an eye patch. Let me tell you, I do them like every single day. And the Lux Unfiltered, I think I feel like I probably saw them like around on Amazon or whatever, but I had the privilege of trying them at my bar studio. They had them out for people to grab and take home and try. And I love I love it. It I'm not even kidding, it does feel cooling on your eyes. It feels really nice on the face. And I love that they don't slip because I I use Dr. Malaxin. and don't get me wrong, like I love them, but I literally I feel like I have to like squeeze out all the serum almost because half the time they just slide down my cheek. And what is that doing? I don't know. And that's super annoying. But they just like really stay very nice on the face and then it feels cooling. It feels I don't know. I just I feel like it's very chic. I tried another brand that was really good at sticking on the face, but it almost just felt more like a sticker and like a band-aid. Like I couldn't feel any of the effects. I'm like, is this even doing anything? Did I just put tape on my face? I don't know. But so take it from me. the Lux Unfiltered Cooling Eye Patches. You definitely need to try some of those. Okay. And then my week of the week is Stasi Baby. Okay. She missed Kylie Jenner's birthday. That is so. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Yeah, it's super cool that you're like BFFs now with Alex Earl and you guys can be like all on a yacht in Europe and like whatever in Gallivant. That's amazing. I'm happy and I love that for you. But to Miss Kylie Jenner's birthday, who is like notably your best friend, like you wouldn't be where you are today without her, like arguably. So I'm sorry, but like if that was me, I would have been like, all right, great. I love hanging out with you, Alex, but like I need to go catch PJ really quick. To get on Kyle to go to Kylie's birthday, because that's just like crucial. Like that's important. So everybody's speculating. Like, is there issues going on? I mean, Stasi commented on Kylie's post, but we know how people work. Everybody's calculated. She could be doing that to save face, but I just feel like that was so weak of her to miss her birthday. I don't care. Like you had to have been like on the operating table or something, for that to be an excuse. But you would just think she would have dropped anything and everything she would to at least make Kylie's birthday. So I felt like that was super weak behavior. And Kylie Jenner, if you are taking applications for a new BFF, I'm here. I I'm willing to do that for you. So yeah. And I think that's all we have for today.
