New Bern Water Advisory After Major Break | Greenville News
New Bern’s water main break on Country Club Road has triggered a boil water advisory for neighborhoods including Pembroke, Olde Towne, Hidden Harbour, Towne Woods, and parts of the road near Highway 70. Repairs were completed by 7:40 PM, but crews are now flushing the system—expect some sputtering faucets. The real concern? Low pressure can allow bacteria into the water, so residents must boil all drinking and cooking water until officials lift the advisory. Stay safe and stay informed.
