- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Hey guys, welcome to the Almost Famous Podcast. Today is
- 0:10Speaker 2: our first recap of episode one of Joey's season. We're
- 0:14Speaker 2: really excited about it. We love having new Bachelor content
- 0:17Speaker 2: to recap with you every single week. And I know
- 0:21Speaker 2: I chose totally unintentionally to on the same day of
- 0:25Speaker 2: Joey's premiere to announce my pregnancy, So I'm gonna talk
- 0:31Speaker 2: about that tomorrow. We are here to recap this show,
- 0:35Speaker 2: but Jared and I will come on and we're going
- 0:37Speaker 2: to talk about all the details of baby number two.
- 0:41Speaker 2: You know, there's always a lot to share because I
- 0:43Speaker 2: love talking about I love complaining about pregnancy and our
- 0:49Speaker 2: absolute thrill about it happening, and we're just super blessed
- 0:53Speaker 2: and we're excited to share about it. So thany tuned
- 0:56Speaker 2: for that tomorrow.
- 0:57Speaker 3: That is so exciting. Ash can't wait for that episode
- 1:00Speaker 3: tomorrow with you and Jared to hear all about it. Now,
- 1:04Speaker 3: let's start a breaking down the season premiere of Joey's premiere. Yes,
- 1:10Speaker 3: we're here for Bachelor episode season one.
- 1:14Speaker 2: I really enjoyed the way that they kicked this one off.
- 1:18Speaker 2: It is means nothing, I'm sure. But they start off
- 1:23Speaker 2: the season by showing Joey crying at the rose altar,
- 1:28Speaker 2: the final rose altar, and they show a car pulling
- 1:32Speaker 2: away with one final rose left on the table while
- 1:35Speaker 2: Joey cries. Now, Ben, what's your interpretation of this, because
- 1:39Speaker 2: I'll tell you I'll tell you mine first. It's that
- 1:42Speaker 2: he just sent home the runner up and he's taking
- 1:46Speaker 2: a break. He's very upset, obviously, as everyone would be,
- 1:50Speaker 2: and they're just showing the in between before his final
- 1:54Speaker 2: pick comes out. But it was interesting. It was this
- 1:57Speaker 2: is an interesting way to kick it off instead of
- 1:58Speaker 2: just like, Hey, I'm Joey and I'm driving it convertible
- 2:01Speaker 2: through Malibu.
- 2:03Speaker 3: That isn't interesting. I'm crazy, Ashley, I I must be.
- 2:09Speaker 3: I thought that was the scene from Charity season. I
- 2:15Speaker 3: didn't put together that that was Joey on his final episode.
- 2:20Speaker 3: Is that crazy? Is that just me missing it?
- 2:22Speaker 2: Mate?
- 2:23Speaker 3: Yeah? Because of his hair, because the haircut, because yeah,
- 2:27Speaker 3: he does look good.
- 2:28Speaker 2: And then would be standing there, it's Charity standing there.
- 2:31Speaker 2: He's the one. He's walk up and then walk out.
- 2:33Speaker 3: Good point, good point. Yeah, that has to be the
- 2:37Speaker 3: in between. I don't know if he's come out publicly
- 2:40Speaker 3: and said he's happy yet typically.
- 2:42Speaker 2: He has have they I don't know he seemed happy
- 2:46Speaker 2: that he basically was like I'm happy.
- 2:50Speaker 3: Yeah, I have no doubt that he's like doing well,
- 2:53Speaker 3: and so it has to be the in between. But
- 2:57Speaker 3: it is a good way to kick off the first episode.
- 2:59Speaker 3: We've talked about it every season. The first episode is
- 3:02Speaker 3: necessary because you've got to start a season and you've
- 3:05Speaker 3: got to introduce us to all the women or the men,
- 3:07Speaker 3: depending on what season is. But for the Bachelor, it's
- 3:09Speaker 3: the women, and we got to get to get refamiliar
- 3:13Speaker 3: with Joey. For any fans that maybe didn't watch Charity season,
- 3:16Speaker 3: we want to know about him a little bit. But
- 3:19Speaker 3: it so it did spice this first episode up a
- 3:23Speaker 3: little bit, which you and I both appreciate.
- 3:25Speaker 2: I know, yeah, yeah for sure. Now I will say
- 3:29Speaker 2: this episode felt really long. It dragged a bit. I
- 3:34Speaker 2: was like, because you know, when we watch our condensed episodes,
- 3:37Speaker 2: is an hour and twenty twenty five minutes usually feels
- 3:40Speaker 2: pretty quick. This like felt I was like, midway through
- 3:43Speaker 2: it was like, I still have a half. That doesn't
- 3:45Speaker 2: mean that I wasn't bored. I just felt it just
- 3:49Speaker 2: felt like there wasn't you know, it was just like
- 3:51Speaker 2: Night one, as everybody knows our opinions on Night one.
- 3:54Speaker 2: So what I want to do is go through the
- 3:56Speaker 2: women's arrivals and I just want to talk about the
- 3:58Speaker 2: people that I really remember their names. I feel like
- 4:01Speaker 2: I actually did a pretty good job of remembering everybody's name,
- 4:05Speaker 2: but like the people who really stood out to me.
- 4:07Speaker 2: And Lexi's the first girl on the limo, and she
- 4:10Speaker 2: really stands out to me. She's sedunnang. She looks like
- 4:13Speaker 2: she could be a supermodel U. Lexi says that she
- 4:17Speaker 2: got chills when she found out that Joy was the bachelor.
- 4:21Speaker 2: She has a health condition that we don't really know
- 4:23Speaker 2: what it is yet, but it means that she may
- 4:25Speaker 2: not be able to have kids, and this is something
- 4:28Speaker 2: that has been worrisome to her In dating. Of course,
- 4:31Speaker 2: that is a big thing to bring up. When do
- 4:33Speaker 2: you bring something like that up.
- 4:36Speaker 3: I don't think it's that's tough. I mean, I feel
- 4:40Speaker 3: like it's early, but it's not on the first date.
- 4:43Speaker 2: It's like a third date.
- 4:44Speaker 3: Well, I think it's there. I think for the shows,
- 4:46Speaker 3: I think it's the first time.
- 4:48Speaker 2: They have a one on one oh yeah for the show.
- 4:51Speaker 3: Yeah, but I think if it's not a one on
- 4:54Speaker 3: one opportunity, then I feel like it's like the second
- 4:56Speaker 3: group date. Once there's some familiarity, once she knows that, like, hey,
- 5:01Speaker 3: Joey's actually interested in her and like they've got to
- 5:03Speaker 3: know each other and he's kept around, I think it's
- 5:06Speaker 3: that would be the time, because there's really no reason
- 5:09Speaker 3: for her to do it unless she knows that Joey's
- 5:11Speaker 3: actually pursuing her.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I totally agree with that. The next girl
- 5:18Speaker 2: that I find to be very memorable from this episode
- 5:21Speaker 2: is Maria. She is from Canada. She comes out waving
- 5:25Speaker 2: a Canadian flag and the Canadian flag gets blurred out.
- 5:28Speaker 2: Is that weird?
- 5:30Speaker 3: It is weird? It's or.
- 5:34Speaker 4: Maybe they didn't have the rights for it, and somebody
- 5:36Speaker 4: on the rights right.
- 5:39Speaker 3: It is odd. I mean, maybe Bachelor Canada can be
- 5:42Speaker 3: the only ones that shows the Canadian flag.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Well, she is a firecracker for sure. She she seems
- 5:53Speaker 2: like very alluring to Joey. I think he thinks she's sexy.
- 5:57Speaker 2: She's definitely got swag and confidence, and we see more
- 6:02Speaker 2: of that with her when they have their one on
- 6:05Speaker 2: one session, which is when they talk about movies and
- 6:08Speaker 2: stuff like that, and she's like, I didn't want to
- 6:10Speaker 2: be the one to kiss you, but you know, it's
- 6:12Speaker 2: just so it just felt so right natural. And she's
- 6:16Speaker 2: definitely a contender for me.
- 6:18Speaker 3: I don't like that she so quickly changed her mind.
- 6:21Speaker 3: Why make this statement I don't want to kiss him
- 6:24Speaker 3: and then kiss him.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Because it's just she felt natural in the moment.
- 6:27Speaker 3: Ben Jeez, I mean Kelsey A brings out a voodoo doll.
- 6:32Speaker 3: I feel like that was ke A.
- 6:33Speaker 2: I love her. She's also huge contender for me. Brings
- 6:38Speaker 2: up the voodoo doll, says she can like give you know,
- 6:41Speaker 2: she wants to manipulate Joey through other process right, wants
- 6:44Speaker 2: to give him the voodoo doll, a little tennis thing.
- 6:46Speaker 2: She's so cute. I really like her demeanor. They have
- 6:50Speaker 2: a really nice one on one time and a kiss,
- 6:53Speaker 2: and so far, I feel like it's been easy for
- 6:57Speaker 2: me with like the Lima pairing, the Limo exit to
- 7:00Speaker 2: what happens when they have their one on one time.
- 7:03Speaker 2: It seems like he's quite obvious and the ones that
- 7:06Speaker 2: he's pretty interested in right off the bat. Now Alison
- 7:10Speaker 2: and Lauren. Big deal here with Alison and Lauren, and
- 7:13Speaker 2: you can speak to this because they're sisters. They're not twins,
- 7:17Speaker 2: they're two years apart. And I mean I went on
- 7:20Speaker 2: the Bachelor with my sister. I mean I went on
- 7:22Speaker 2: a Bachelor in Paradise with my sister, which is, I
- 7:25Speaker 2: honestly think, a totally different experience to have with your
- 7:28Speaker 2: sister than competing for the one direct man in front
- 7:32Speaker 2: of you. And uh, well, we see lesi later that
- 7:37Speaker 2: Allison is the one. Alison, the younger sister, is the
- 7:41Speaker 2: one who gets the first rows of the rose ceremony.
- 7:44Speaker 2: And then Lauren, of course, the older sister, who's all
- 7:49Speaker 2: the entire time showing a lot of competition with her sister,
- 7:52Speaker 2: like she can't be the one who kisses him first.
- 7:54Speaker 2: My clock, my biological clock, is ticking harder and fast
- 7:58Speaker 2: hers he gets the last rose of the rose ceremony.
- 8:02Speaker 2: They at first tried to pretend like they're not going
- 8:07Speaker 2: to tell the group of girls that they're sisters, but
- 8:10Speaker 2: that didn't last long, and it didn't last long without
- 8:12Speaker 2: telling Joey too, because Joey was like, you guys are
- 8:15Speaker 2: both in the same area. You have similar upbringings. So
- 8:19Speaker 2: they tell him I just would I could not. I
- 8:23Speaker 2: couldn't do this with my sister because yeah, I would
- 8:27Speaker 2: be like just demoralized with the first kiss, with like
- 8:33Speaker 2: rose ceremonies. I am actually surprised. I think he keeps
- 8:38Speaker 2: him around together for one more week and then I
- 8:40Speaker 2: think he's gonna split them up, because I don't think
- 8:42Speaker 2: he will. I don't think he wants to deal with it.
- 8:44Speaker 3: But yeah, I mean it's he needs to send one
- 8:47Speaker 3: of them home, and he needs to do it early.
- 8:50Speaker 3: You know, it's fine to go on with your sister
- 8:52Speaker 3: or your twin in the twins case, uh, if you
- 8:55Speaker 3: have the right attitude towards it. But I feel like
- 9:00Speaker 3: there's way too much competition between these two sisters. Maybe
- 9:03Speaker 3: not the younger sister, I don't think she maybe cares
- 9:05Speaker 3: as much. Yeah, but the older one is like staring
- 9:08Speaker 3: and like breathing down the neck of the younger sister. Yeah,
- 9:11Speaker 3: and that's that's never gonna go well or end well.
- 9:15Speaker 3: It's always gonna be weird. And the longer they're both there,
- 9:19Speaker 3: say he does pick one of them at the end,
- 9:21Speaker 3: it only makes home visits even weirder. So he's got
- 9:25Speaker 3: to decide quick, and I think he's more into the
- 9:28Speaker 3: younger sister. I think, I honestly think that the older
- 9:31Speaker 3: sister kind of she's edgier. She's edgier, and her time
- 9:35Speaker 3: is limited, and she just is gonna say things I
- 9:38Speaker 3: think to Joey to make him be like, yeah, not interested.
- 9:42Speaker 3: I think it's weird.
- 9:43Speaker 2: Liked the shotgun beer with her at the egg at
- 9:46Speaker 2: the at Limo Exit.
- 9:47Speaker 3: She was impressive. That was a very good, good talent.
- 9:53Speaker 3: I mean, I think she's a good time. Like. I
- 9:55Speaker 3: think she's a lot of fun, and I think she's
- 9:56Speaker 3: gonna be like great, she's twenty eight years old, Like
- 10:00Speaker 3: she's gonna be all right. But I think she'll go
- 10:03Speaker 3: home pretty soon.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, but I think she would have lasted longer
- 10:08Speaker 2: if her sister wasn't there. But I don't think he
- 10:10Speaker 2: wants that direct company.
- 10:10Speaker 3: I agree there. Yeah, I fully agree with you on that.
- 10:24Speaker 2: Now there's a whole other half of women to come.
- 10:26Speaker 2: He has the most women of all.
- 10:28Speaker 3: Thirty two two.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Caitlin comes in. She's a nuclear chemist. They do a
- 10:35Speaker 2: little experiment to see if they have chemistry. That one
- 10:37Speaker 2: was that was memorable for me Jen, I think she
- 10:43Speaker 2: is definitely top five. She comes in the golf court,
- 10:48Speaker 2: in a golf court, and she says, like, when I
- 10:51Speaker 2: find out you're a bachelor, I had to quickly race
- 10:54Speaker 2: over here from Miami. She's going to school to be
- 10:57Speaker 2: a physician's assistant. And she was like made a big
- 11:01Speaker 2: deal out of the fact that she was not going
- 11:03Speaker 2: to be on the Bachelor unless he was the Bachelor.
- 11:08Speaker 3: I mean, you also have to bring up the you know, Daisy,
- 11:12Speaker 3: they have a pelotal package about her. She has an
- 11:16Speaker 3: incredible some incredible story life experience. But and I think
- 11:21Speaker 3: she's I mean, she's like my top one right now. Yeah,
- 11:25Speaker 3: I was just telling him just that. But it doesn't
- 11:29Speaker 3: help that they play like the Winner's music behind her
- 11:32Speaker 3: as she exits out a limo. It's like, of course,
- 11:35Speaker 3: Daves is going to be there a long time now,
- 11:37Speaker 3: Like I know she's going to be there a long
- 11:39Speaker 3: time because they played like the beautiful like princess music
- 11:43Speaker 3: to her stepping out of the limos. It's like, you
- 11:45Speaker 3: just gave it away, show like she's there. If you
- 11:48Speaker 3: want to put money in Vegas on who sticks around,
- 11:50Speaker 3: Daisy's the one.
- 11:51Speaker 2: I totally agree with you. It was almost it was
- 11:55Speaker 2: almost too much. It was like you are like, she's
- 12:00Speaker 2: really she's really in our face right now.
- 12:04Speaker 4: Yeah, it's is she Either she's and I like her.
- 12:08Speaker 3: I do. I think she's great. I don't obviously know
- 12:10Speaker 3: her well. I know her from this little segment. She's
- 12:14Speaker 3: either going to be somebody that like makes me so
- 12:18Speaker 3: happy watching the show or one of my like most
- 12:22Speaker 3: heartbreaking exits ever because I feel like we're going to
- 12:24Speaker 3: fall in love with her and then like she's either
- 12:28Speaker 3: gonna make us so happy because we'll be like, yes,
- 12:30Speaker 3: Daisy is great, or she's gonna make us so sad
- 12:34Speaker 3: because she's gonna go home. Like I think she's really
- 12:36Speaker 3: going to pull her our heartstring. She's beautiful, she's kind,
- 12:39Speaker 3: she's considerate. She's sitting next to Joey, definitely helping Joey
- 12:43Speaker 3: get through this experience. She has a life story that's
- 12:48Speaker 3: been very impactful. She has everything to be like either
- 12:52Speaker 3: the chosen like person or the next bachelorette.
- 12:56Speaker 2: Yeah, so what you talk about was like the life
- 12:59Speaker 2: thing is she is a cochlear implant. She ended up
- 13:02Speaker 2: losing her hearing at the age or starting to lose
- 13:04Speaker 2: it at seventeen, it got progressively worse and just last
- 13:08Speaker 2: is last year she got the cochlear implant and it's been
- 13:11Speaker 2: like game changing ever since. And she said she did
- 13:15Speaker 2: have a little moment in there with all the girls
- 13:17Speaker 2: where she was getting a little anxious because the sound
- 13:20Speaker 2: when you have all that background sound in addition to
- 13:23Speaker 2: whatever conversation you're having in front of you, is very overwhelming.
- 13:27Speaker 2: But she also said to Joey during their one on
- 13:29Speaker 2: one time that she she was like, I'm just excited
- 13:34Speaker 2: for whoever you end up with. And I was like, Wow,
- 13:37Speaker 2: that's not something you hear every every day on the Bachelor, And.
- 13:41Speaker 3: I'm guessing she's probably being very truthful when she says that,
- 13:44Speaker 3: Like she seems like a type person. It's like, Hey, Joey,
- 13:47Speaker 3: I'm so happy to be here. I want to be here.
- 13:50Speaker 4: I think you're great, but I'm I'm just happy for
- 13:53Speaker 4: whoever gets.
- 13:54Speaker 3: To spend their life with you. Which if I was
- 13:56Speaker 3: a bachelor and somebody said to me, I'd be like,
- 13:58Speaker 3: my goodness, you are like I couldn't get I mean,
- 14:02Speaker 3: I'm done, Like you're the best.
- 14:04Speaker 2: Yeah, It's really sweet. So another one on one times
- 14:08Speaker 2: that stood out to me was with Jess, she gets
- 14:12Speaker 2: the first kiss of the night. I was quite surprised.
- 14:16Speaker 2: I was, okay, yeah, I was all right, I'm glad
- 14:18Speaker 2: that you're saying that because I was surprised. It just
- 14:22Speaker 2: didn't seem like I didn't feel like a ton of
- 14:26Speaker 2: romantic chemistry and they both mutually went in for it.
- 14:31Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, I think, I think if you were
- 14:33Speaker 3: there in the moment, I don't think Joey's gonna be
- 14:36Speaker 3: very good at small talk. He does seem like a
- 14:39Speaker 3: very deep person. He feels like a very intentional person.
- 14:43Speaker 3: He seems like somebody that's going to be an incredible bachelor.
- 14:46Speaker 3: A plus for Joey on night one, awesome, awesome, just
- 14:50Speaker 3: very likable, very like attractive, confident, cool, never seemed super nervous,
- 14:56Speaker 3: definitely made sure the girls felt comfortable. I think, and
- 14:59Speaker 3: I don't think it's e and like a negative. I
- 15:01Speaker 3: just don't think he's going to be great at small talk.
- 15:02Speaker 3: I don't think he's gonna love like having those weird
- 15:05Speaker 3: conversations you're going to have. So I do imagine that
- 15:08Speaker 3: he's gonna be making out with people when like things
- 15:13Speaker 3: get weird, Like I think he's gonna be kissing them,
- 15:15Speaker 3: And I think that's what happened with her.
- 15:17Speaker 2: They get along very nicely. Sure, but yeah, she comes
- 15:21Speaker 2: in and she tells everyone that she got a little
- 15:25Speaker 2: smoochie poo where I was like, okay, the producers definitely
- 15:30Speaker 2: put that in her ear to be like and that
- 15:32Speaker 2: maybe you could drop to the ladies that like, you kissed,
- 15:35Speaker 2: because it is the weirdest thing to offer up on
- 15:38Speaker 2: your own on night one.
- 15:40Speaker 3: Oh, and it's just such It was such bad timing.
- 15:43Speaker 3: I mean, if you don't want to be that girl
- 15:47Speaker 3: or that boy, don't.
- 15:48Speaker 4: Be that girl or boy, like, don't be the one
- 15:51Speaker 4: to say that.
- 15:52Speaker 2: Say no, she didn't. She said, I don't care. She
- 15:54Speaker 2: said I would do it again. I don't care. She
- 15:57Speaker 2: would actually interrupt again, So Taylor, during Taylor's time, she interrupts,
- 16:03Speaker 2: And I mean, it's never a good look to interrupt
- 16:05Speaker 2: when you legitimately already had your time night one and
- 16:08Speaker 2: you told everyone that you kiss What else are you
- 16:11Speaker 2: going back for? Miss And what are.
- 16:14Speaker 3: You trying to I mean, are you literally just trying
- 16:16Speaker 3: to get the house to absolutely hate you from night one? Like?
- 16:20Speaker 3: Is that? What goals do you have here? Because she's
- 16:23Speaker 3: doing everything right to just get a target on her back.
- 16:27Speaker 2: Yeah, she's not like she's not like gonna be really
- 16:30Speaker 2: villainous though, Like I think there's part of her that
- 16:34Speaker 2: I do like I enjoy. She's good watch, she's good TV.
- 16:37Speaker 3: Sure, But when she was like I'm gonna get the
- 16:39Speaker 3: first impression Rows, I'm so happy again in my mind,
- 16:44Speaker 3: I'm like, I hope he gets a home.
- 16:47Speaker 2: Like he's already thinking it. He's like, oh man, I
- 16:49Speaker 2: regret kissing her because she's already becoming that person.
- 16:54Speaker 3: And then it just kind of open up the floggates
- 16:55Speaker 3: for more makeouts. I mean he did, he he had
- 16:58Speaker 3: himself a time.
- 17:00Speaker 2: He did. He kissed so many people. Uh, he kissed Daisy,
- 17:05Speaker 2: he kissed I think he kissed Jen, right, I guess
- 17:10Speaker 2: he definitely kissed Jen. Yeah, he kissed Alison one of
- 17:13Speaker 2: the sisters.
- 17:15Speaker 3: Did he kiss Leah Leah?
- 17:17Speaker 2: Yes, he kissed Leah after giving her the first impression Rose,
- 17:21Speaker 2: and then he also kissed Lexi who new Orleans Lexi? Yeah?
- 17:28Speaker 2: So oh and Maria. He also kissed Maria. Yeah.
- 17:32Speaker 3: I mean that's a that's a pretty good amount on
- 17:34Speaker 3: Night one, Like that's hey, you know more power to everybody,
- 17:37Speaker 3: But like, you don't see that every time, and I'm
- 17:40Speaker 3: sure there's a few maybe they'd even show so with
- 17:42Speaker 3: yeah kissed eight people. Yeah, eight of the thirty two
- 17:48Speaker 3: kiss one fourth of the population in the Bachelor Mansion.
- 17:52Speaker 3: It's a lot.
- 18:04Speaker 2: Let's talk about Leah who ends up getting Leah. I
- 18:07Speaker 2: think Leah who ends up getting the first impression Rose,
- 18:11Speaker 2: who I really would not have guessed this if you
- 18:14Speaker 2: would like put us back the moment where he met
- 18:18Speaker 2: her on stage at after the final rows. Sure, and
- 18:22Speaker 2: you know she was the one that like got to
- 18:24Speaker 2: come on his season from the basically the audience, and
- 18:28Speaker 2: then she got that card which she wasn't allowed to
- 18:31Speaker 2: open until she got in the Bachelor Mansion. Like, I
- 18:33Speaker 2: didn't feel like he was super into her like that
- 18:36Speaker 2: night on the stage, but it was definitely genuine here.
- 18:40Speaker 2: I think there were a few more people that he
- 18:42Speaker 2: feels like passion with, but I think this was just
- 18:46Speaker 2: kind of like a nice gesture for her behaving the
- 18:51Speaker 2: way that she did when opening that card, which the
- 18:54Speaker 2: card says you're able to steal one on one date
- 18:58Speaker 2: from like any girl whenever you want. And I had
- 19:02Speaker 2: to couldn't help. But wonder what my reaction would have
- 19:05Speaker 2: been to getting that. I think it would have been similar.
- 19:08Speaker 2: But the way that she was so emotional, she just
- 19:11Speaker 2: didn't want to ruffle any feathers, She did not want
- 19:13Speaker 2: to hurt anyone, steal anything. It was super sweet.
- 19:17Speaker 4: I mean, she's definitely she definitely is the opposite of
- 19:21Speaker 4: what Jess Jesse.
- 19:22Speaker 3: Jesse is it. She is Jess. She's trying to just
- 19:26Speaker 3: do this thing with respect. Again, I think she had
- 19:28Speaker 3: a great perspective when it came to Joey said, I'm
- 19:31Speaker 3: going to give you autonomy, like you get to pick
- 19:34Speaker 3: these one on ones, and so if you want to
- 19:36Speaker 3: take me, great, If you don't, like, I don't want
- 19:38Speaker 3: to be the one to like force my way into
- 19:40Speaker 3: a date with you. I think it'd be really weird
- 19:42Speaker 3: if he was like, I'm going to take this person
- 19:43Speaker 3: to this date and she was said, no, it's actually
- 19:46Speaker 3: going to be me this time. Let the chemistry kind
- 19:51Speaker 3: of come about as it will. Great memory by the
- 19:55Speaker 3: way that she was on after the final rows, you know,
- 19:58Speaker 3: that's and that like their chemistry connection you know, wasn't
- 20:01Speaker 3: maybe as strong.
- 20:02Speaker 2: I didn't feel it then.
- 20:03Speaker 3: Yeah, But the move to burn it.
- 20:07Speaker 2: Oh, I thought that was a natural move. I thought
- 20:09Speaker 2: that was what would that came right to my head
- 20:12Speaker 2: was just okay, in the fire in front of these girls.
- 20:15Speaker 3: I thought she was going to give to somebody else.
- 20:16Speaker 3: But then I was like, who would you give it to?
- 20:18Speaker 3: Or she'd give to Joey to give somebody else. But
- 20:21Speaker 3: you're saying like a fire was like a good little.
- 20:24Speaker 2: For getting rid of this moment.
- 20:26Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, Yeah, she's going to make.
- 20:29Speaker 2: Friends by burning that.
- 20:30Speaker 3: Yeah, well, she's definitely gonna make friends. People are gonna,
- 20:35Speaker 3: I think, just respect her for that. I think they're
- 20:36Speaker 3: going to really appreciate that gesture and she might make
- 20:41Speaker 3: a lot of friends in the house. I don't know
- 20:43Speaker 3: yet if she's the one for Joey, but she did
- 20:47Speaker 3: get the first impression rose, which is always a big deal.
- 20:51Speaker 3: Like we don't see first impression roses go home early
- 20:54Speaker 3: very often at all.
- 20:56Speaker 2: Mm hmm. Yeah. No, she'll be around for a while,
- 20:59Speaker 2: but maybe not. I'm not putting her in like my
- 21:02Speaker 2: top five. I did make a mistake earlier. I just
- 21:05Speaker 2: want to point out I said that I said, Lexi, Okay,
- 21:09Speaker 2: so they kiss, But when I was talking about the
- 21:10Speaker 2: voodoo doll. I meant to say Kelsey. There are two
- 21:15Speaker 2: Kelsey's and one of them streaks. Yeah, I think Kelsey A.
- 21:21Speaker 2: I think Kelsey A. Sorry, guys, she.
- 21:24Speaker 3: Gave Kelsey gave the voodoo doll to Joe.
- 21:28Speaker 2: Okay, yes, did they? I thought they kissed too? Yeah,
- 21:31Speaker 2: I think so. So there you go.
- 21:33Speaker 3: Lots and lots of hard to keep up with at
- 21:36Speaker 3: this point.
- 21:36Speaker 2: Yeah, because I'm trying to go through my top now,
- 21:39Speaker 2: so I would say Kelsey A, Lexi, Maria, and Jen
- 21:51Speaker 2: those are my top four right now.
- 21:54Speaker 3: I like Daisy.
- 21:55Speaker 2: Oh my god, no, sorry, I that's my top five.
- 22:02Speaker 2: I'm sorry. I totally blanked.
- 22:05Speaker 4: I'm gonna say Leah, Daisy, Kelsey.
- 22:07Speaker 3: A, and goodness.
- 22:12Speaker 4: Let me throw one more in here that I did
- 22:15Speaker 4: think had it.
- 22:16Speaker 3: I think Maria, honestly, I just feel like she does
- 22:21Speaker 3: kind of have the confidence in the swagger to keep
- 22:23Speaker 3: him interested for a long period of time. She would
- 22:25Speaker 3: not be my pick at the end. I think Daisy
- 22:28Speaker 3: is kind of like the surefire bet at this point
- 22:32Speaker 3: to be there at the end. Ashley. That brings us
- 22:35Speaker 3: up to the Rose ceremony. A bunch of people went
- 22:38Speaker 3: home that we don't.
- 22:41Speaker 2: Know, don't really remember. The one that I remember was
- 22:44Speaker 2: the one whose name is Chandler because she said, I'm Chandler,
- 22:48Speaker 2: you're Joey, and I'll always be there for you. Very cute.
- 22:52Speaker 3: That is very cute. The preview for the rest of
- 22:55Speaker 3: the season looks like a normal Bachelor season. There's some tears,
- 22:59Speaker 3: there's some crying, there's some people being upset. There wasn't
- 23:05Speaker 3: It was lacking, which is fine if it didn't exist
- 23:08Speaker 3: like the big spin. You know, we didn't have the
- 23:10Speaker 3: fence jump, no fence job. We didn't have those moments
- 23:14Speaker 3: that really like shook us.
- 23:16Speaker 2: They're trying to make the final scene that because they
- 23:18Speaker 2: actually don't have one, And that's fine.
- 23:21Speaker 3: If it's just a good old, genuine love story, I'm
- 23:23Speaker 3: fine with it. If there's not a big moment, I
- 23:26Speaker 3: bet the drama does. I mean, this house was already
- 23:29Speaker 3: very dramatic for Night one. Let's be honest, Like there
- 23:32Speaker 3: was a lot of kind of bad mouthing or frustrations
- 23:38Speaker 3: or whatever even for Night one.
- 23:42Speaker 4: So I do think some drama will come from the house.
- 23:45Speaker 2: Yeah, who it will be surrounded by? Yet we do
- 23:48Speaker 2: not know? All right, Well, guys, so what you're thinking.
- 23:54Speaker 2: You know your tops. I bet you guys agree with
- 23:56Speaker 2: us in our top five.
- 23:58Speaker 3: Yeah, there'd be some. I think it'll be shocking at
- 24:01Speaker 3: this point to see anybody disagree. But we're off and running, Ashley.
- 24:06Speaker 3: See episode one is done. We'll be back next week
- 24:10Speaker 3: for episode two. We won't stop until the show stops,
- 24:14Speaker 3: which will be after Joey's season.
- 24:17Speaker 2: What do you mean that sounds like ominous?
- 24:19Speaker 3: Oh, I didn't mean it that way.
- 24:22Speaker 2: This is not the last season for what we know.
- 24:24Speaker 3: No, no, no, no announcements have been made. No, no,
- 24:27Speaker 3: we don't know anything. We'll just keep going until Joey season. Anyways,
- 24:31Speaker 3: until next week.
- 24:32Speaker 2: I've been Ben, I've been Ashley.
