- 2:19Speaker 6: some interesting things going on in the State Democratic Party.
- 2:22Speaker 6: I'm going to get into that. And I don't know
- 2:25Speaker 6: if you've heard this story or not about the of
- 2:27Speaker 6: course everyone knows the story of the United Healthcare CEO
- 2:31Speaker 6: that was killed. You would be surprised to find the
- 2:35Speaker 6: number of people who saw nothing wrong with that killing.
- 2:40Speaker 6: Matter of fact, there's a new study out The Hill
- 2:42Speaker 6: reported on it and Emerson College that if you feel
- 2:47Speaker 6: that Killy was justified, We're going to talk about that,

- 3:07Speaker 6: Snyder how are you.
- 3:08Speaker 7: I'm wonderful. How are you there?
- 3:10Speaker 6: It seems weird not saying shape Shop, Elli Snyder? Are
- 3:13Speaker 6: you always going to be known to shape Shop Milly Snyder?
- 3:15Speaker 2: Though?
- 3:15Speaker 7: Probably? I think I'm going to be known as the
- 3:17Speaker 7: shape Shop and also the weight watcher lady, and all
- 3:21Speaker 7: of those identifiers I'm very, very proud of because I
- 3:26Speaker 7: can promise you it was a labor of love for
- 3:30Speaker 7: everything that happened.
- 3:31Speaker 6: And you came in here sport in a little hardware
- 3:33Speaker 6: this morning and I've got a picture that we took
- 3:36Speaker 6: and I'm going to post that on the social media.
- 3:37Speaker 6: After the show. You were given the key to the
- 3:41Speaker 6: city and you brought the key. It's like the Stanley Cup.
- 3:44Speaker 6: You're just like carrying it around with you everywhere you go.
- 3:46Speaker 6: But you got that that that that key that was
- 3:49Speaker 6: given a U beisode upon you by Mayor Amy Goodwin
- 3:51Speaker 6: and her fine staff, Jane Bostick and the folks with.
- 3:54Speaker 7: The idea it was happening.
- 3:56Speaker 6: It takes a lot to surprise you, mal Yes.
- 3:58Speaker 7: Jane called and said can I come over about ten twenty?
- 4:01Speaker 7: I said sure, And then when she walked in, she said,
- 4:04Speaker 7: do you mind if the Mayor comes over in about
- 4:06Speaker 7: twenty minutes and in walk wow k TV, and I
- 4:10Speaker 7: was truly honored, and I think everyone in the city,
- 4:16Speaker 7: especially Jane and our wonderful Mayor Amy Goodwin. She just
- 4:22Speaker 7: made me feel so very, very proud. And she spoke
- 4:26Speaker 7: eloquently of the things that I've accomplished over these many
- 4:30Speaker 7: years with Charleston.
- 4:30Speaker 6: And you got that, you got that key to the city.
- 4:33Speaker 7: Yeah, And I don't know what it is.
- 4:34Speaker 6: I'm gonna you just go in door to door trying
- 4:36Speaker 6: to find something I did.
- 4:37Speaker 7: Already and tough I gotta find. Ah.
- 4:42Speaker 8: You are.
- 4:43Speaker 6: You are an institution here in Charleston. I didn't say
- 4:46Speaker 6: you needed to be in one. I said you are
- 4:47Speaker 6: an institution.
- 4:48Speaker 7: There's something that I should be.
- 4:50Speaker 6: But but you're an institution here in Charleston. I mean,
- 4:52Speaker 6: I mean, I mean, you really are. And I know
- 4:56Speaker 6: in the short time that I've known you, which is
- 4:57Speaker 6: I've been doing the show for about four and a
- 4:59Speaker 6: half years, that I've gotten to know you really well,
- 5:02Speaker 6: as have the listeners who knew you well before I
- 5:05Speaker 6: ever came here. And you mentioned the weight watchers thing.
- 5:07Speaker 6: And I can remember when I started my radio career
- 5:11Speaker 6: running commercials at a much smaller radio station in southern
- 5:15Speaker 6: West Virginia featuring Millie Snyder of the Weight Watchers commercials
- 5:19Speaker 6: that we ran years. And I've been in the business
- 5:22Speaker 6: for thirty six years, so that tells you how long
- 5:23Speaker 6: ago it was.
- 5:24Speaker 7: But I've got just a few over you, but not
- 5:26Speaker 7: too many more.
- 5:28Speaker 6: But all these honors that you're getting, you know, the
- 5:31Speaker 6: key to the city and everybody coming all out when
- 5:34Speaker 6: you announced that you were closing the Shape Shop and
- 5:36Speaker 6: doing that very philanthropic thing by donating the building to
- 5:39Speaker 6: the folks at Health Right, which you did.
- 5:41Speaker 7: Well, I have to tell you that they there's as
- 5:43Speaker 7: far as I'm concerned, Uh, Doctor Settle and her entire team,
- 5:49Speaker 7: they absolutely have no limits to what they will do
- 5:54Speaker 7: to help anyone everyone in need. And it's very very touching,
- 5:59Speaker 7: and I'm grateful to them for being the kind of
- 6:01Speaker 7: organization that they are. And doctor Settle will stop at nothing.
- 6:06Speaker 7: She has no limits if she knows that there is
- 6:09Speaker 7: a need. I was at Kroger's the day before I
- 6:12Speaker 7: got the key, and a girl came over to me
- 6:15Speaker 7: and she said, missus Snyder, I just want to tell
- 6:17Speaker 7: you that I know your son and several years ago.
- 6:22Speaker 7: I needed health I needed health care and I had
- 6:25Speaker 7: no insurance and I went to health Right and they
- 6:29Speaker 7: helped me one hundred percent and helped me get well.
- 6:32Speaker 7: So thank you very much for what you've done. And
- 6:35Speaker 7: I did not know her, and she knew me remotely
- 6:38Speaker 7: through my son, so that made me feel even better.
- 6:41Speaker 6: Well, the folks at health Right. I've had Angie Settle
- 6:43Speaker 6: on numerous times on the show over the last several years.
- 6:46Speaker 6: And what people don't realize is that the majority of
- 6:49Speaker 6: their clients are working people. Yes, they're not just what
- 6:53Speaker 6: you everybody needs help, I guess from time to time
- 6:55Speaker 6: I understand that, but they're working people that are doing.
- 6:59Speaker 6: Oh by way, Texas, Milly is the absolute best. Wishing
- 7:03Speaker 6: her the best always, thank you. I don't I'll identify
- 7:06Speaker 6: that person because that came to myself when that was
- 7:07Speaker 6: Fred Albert, our good friend over at the AFT American
- 7:10Speaker 6: Fan who's also retiring.
- 7:12Speaker 7: Yes, yes, he's just and he did such a wonderful
- 7:15Speaker 7: job not only as a teacher and well remembered as
- 7:19Speaker 7: a teacher, but also his role with leading AFT. And
- 7:24Speaker 7: he's just a terrific man and he gives with his
- 7:27Speaker 7: heart and.
- 7:27Speaker 6: Soul and you and Fred can go on a tour
- 7:30Speaker 6: and pick up keys to the city all over the
- 7:32Speaker 6: state of West Virginia. Well, probably need a truck to
- 7:35Speaker 6: put them all in, but anyway, all right, But now
- 7:38Speaker 6: I do want people to understand though, that just because
- 7:40Speaker 6: you have donated Shape Shopworner, you're not going away.
- 7:45Speaker 7: No, no, no. And somebody said to me.
- 7:47Speaker 6: This juggernaut that is Millie Snyder is not going oft
- 7:50Speaker 6: into the sunset. You got big plans for twenty twenty five.
- 7:53Speaker 7: Absolutely, And someone said to me, so are you moving
- 7:55Speaker 7: to Florida? I said, no, I hate I hate Florida. No,
- 7:58Speaker 7: I'm going to stay in Charleston, West virgin And of
- 8:00Speaker 7: course I want everyone to know that I am continuing
- 8:04Speaker 7: with fix It with Foods, which is learning, living and
- 8:07Speaker 7: loving the Mediterranean lifestyle. And now Mediterranean is taking center
- 8:13Speaker 7: stage on the internet, in the newspaper. Doctors are actually
- 8:17Speaker 7: paying attention. And if people will eat Mediterranean lifestyle ways,
- 8:23Speaker 7: everything cooking, they're going to get healthier, They're going to
- 8:26Speaker 7: be able to relinquish certain medications. And I don't want
- 8:30Speaker 7: to sound like a doctor, because you know I'm not
- 8:32Speaker 7: a real doctor, but Mediterranean is the way to go,
- 8:36Speaker 7: and I am doing it in a group support system.
- 8:40Speaker 7: We now meet at the Prosperity Center, which is part
- 8:44Speaker 7: of Goodwill. They have the most beautiful meeting rooms. There
- 8:48Speaker 7: is a parking lot. We're going to be doing it
- 8:50Speaker 7: Thursday morning through the end of the year, and then
- 8:53Speaker 7: right after the first of the year, we're going to
- 8:55Speaker 7: add a late afternoon on Thursday, so working people we'll
- 9:00Speaker 7: be able to get in and learn it and just
- 9:03Speaker 7: put it into their life. It's such a it's not
- 9:05Speaker 7: a diet, it's a way of life.
- 9:07Speaker 6: Now, when are the meetings held?
- 9:09Speaker 7: I'm sorry, I meant to tell you that Thursday, Thursday, Thursday,
- 9:12Speaker 7: ten o'clock Thursday morning, and we're going to be adding a.
- 9:15Speaker 6: Is it every Thursday morning?
- 9:17Speaker 7: Every every Thursday, but except next week. We have a
- 9:19Speaker 7: little you know, we're not going to do it the
- 9:21Speaker 7: day after Christmas because I think that's called Boxing Day
- 9:25Speaker 7: in another country. Yeah, so we're not going to do
- 9:27Speaker 7: it next week, but we're going to do it on Wednesday. No,
- 9:30Speaker 7: we're not even doing it on Wednesday days this Christmas Day.
- 9:32Speaker 7: Yeah no, So we're going to miss next week, but
- 9:35Speaker 7: we're going to pick it up the following week, okay,
- 9:38Speaker 7: because missing is not a good thing, well, taking care
- 9:40Speaker 7: of yourself.
- 9:41Speaker 6: And we talk about this, you and I talk about
- 9:43Speaker 6: this every year. You know. It's that once we get
- 9:45Speaker 6: through Christmas, people start making those New Year's resolutions, about
- 9:48Speaker 6: ninety five percent of which fail within in the first
- 9:52Speaker 6: two to three weeks. So don't you don't have to
- 9:54Speaker 6: gorge yourself for the next week or so or getting
- 9:58Speaker 6: into you know, and saying I'm going to start at
- 9:59Speaker 6: the beginning of the new year, start now, because most
- 10:03Speaker 6: of the resolutions fail.
- 10:05Speaker 7: Right before I joined weight Watchers, which I was not
- 10:08Speaker 7: going to do because I thought it wouldn't work and
- 10:10Speaker 7: I wasn't going to fail again. I ate as though
- 10:13Speaker 7: a famine was going to take over Baltimore City. And
- 10:16Speaker 7: then the day that I actually joined, I had such
- 10:20Speaker 7: a chip on my shoulder. I didn't want to do it.
- 10:21Speaker 7: I didn't like this one. I didn't like that one. Anyway,
- 10:24Speaker 7: we all know how that story worked out. But it's
- 10:28Speaker 7: not uncommon for people to eat themselves into some euphoric
- 10:32Speaker 7: stage because they think everything that they love is going
- 10:36Speaker 7: away and most of the things that they eat are
- 10:38Speaker 7: bad for them in terms of processing there is so
- 10:42Speaker 7: much information coming across the news media that we need
- 10:47Speaker 7: to pay attention to. In terms of processed food, we're
- 10:50Speaker 7: actually poisoning ourselves. Yes, yeah, I mean it goes without
- 10:54Speaker 7: it's a slow kill. It's not a you know, if
- 10:56Speaker 7: I eat potato chips, it's not a fast kill. I
- 10:58Speaker 7: mean it tastes good in your mouth.
- 11:00Speaker 6: Can have things though, in moderation, absolutely, and and everything
- 11:03Speaker 6: is in moderation. But you just shut and I'm a
- 11:06Speaker 6: I'm a potato chips guy. I a potato chip guy
- 11:08Speaker 6: with a sandwich. That's just that's like in the Bible
- 11:10Speaker 6: or something. I'm not sure you have to have them together.
- 11:12Speaker 6: I'm uh but uh, but but but but I but
- 11:15Speaker 6: I will say moderation. And even during the Christmas season
- 11:19Speaker 6: and everybody's getting together with family, and of course you
- 11:21Speaker 6: have the New Year's parties and so on and so forth,
- 11:24Speaker 6: you would you would be very wise to practice moderation
- 11:29Speaker 6: if you want to have a cookie uh with uh
- 11:32Speaker 6: or or at an office gathering or whatever. Okay, just
- 11:35Speaker 6: and well you don't even get me started about alcohol.
- 11:37Speaker 6: You know, it's just just moderate taste, moderation.
- 11:41Speaker 7: And see if you like it.
- 11:42Speaker 6: And then move on and then find out that you
- 11:44Speaker 6: do exactly move on all right, and again knock out
- 11:47Speaker 6: a couple of texture text says Love hearing Milly on
- 11:49Speaker 6: the radio, please tell her have a happy Milli Christmas. Also,
- 11:53Speaker 6: if she uses the key to my house, she ain't
- 11:56Speaker 6: gonna find much. She's gonna use this key to go
- 11:59Speaker 6: around to your cabinets and see what's in your cabinet
- 12:01Speaker 6: that shouldn't Oh.
- 12:02Speaker 7: Yes, and then I'm going to post a big sign
- 12:04Speaker 7: on the front of your house contaminated.
- 12:06Speaker 6: Do not come in. You're not doing that, Tex says.
- 12:09Speaker 6: Milly is a jewel in the state of West Virginia.
- 12:11Speaker 6: She has made a major impact on the health of
- 12:13Speaker 6: everyone she's met over the years. Thank you, Millie, thank
- 12:16Speaker 6: you very much. But again, you're not going anywhere. You're
- 12:18Speaker 6: going to be back here with us.
- 12:19Speaker 7: You got to dispel the rumors that I'm moving. I'm
- 12:22Speaker 7: not going anywhere.
- 12:23Speaker 6: You're not. You're not going on the road, you know,
- 12:25Speaker 6: with Aerosmith or anything.
- 12:26Speaker 7: I told somebody yesterday I was going to take a trip.
- 12:28Speaker 7: I'm going to Parkersburg.
- 12:29Speaker 6: Okay, Well, all right, are you coming back or are
- 12:32Speaker 6: you gonna stay up there.
- 12:33Speaker 7: For I'm gonna it's just gonna be a round trip.
- 12:35Speaker 6: You ever been to Blener Hassett.
- 12:37Speaker 7: Oh many times?
- 12:38Speaker 6: Hotel?
- 12:38Speaker 7: A number of years ago I took the grandchildren to
- 12:41Speaker 7: Blenner hasseg.
- 12:42Speaker 6: With great hotels, a great place, a great restaurant here too,
- 12:44Speaker 6: that that you can have things in moderation, absolutely anything
- 12:48Speaker 6: you want to add to because twenty twenty four, Millie
- 12:52Speaker 6: has been quite a year of transition, you know, for you.
- 12:55Speaker 6: So I'm going to give you the last thirty seconds
- 12:58Speaker 6: or so to just say whatever you want, Wish people
- 13:01Speaker 6: happy New Year, thank people, whatever you want to.
- 13:03Speaker 7: Do, and thank you for that opportunity, Dave, because you know,
- 13:08Speaker 7: for the fifty six years that I've been part of Charleston,
- 13:11Speaker 7: West Virginia, and seemingly from the first couple of weeks
- 13:15Speaker 7: when I arrived with Harvey Snyder, who was at the
- 13:18Speaker 7: time my husband, people wrapped their arms around me and
- 13:21Speaker 7: they welcomed what I was here to do, and that
- 13:25Speaker 7: was teach people how to eat healthfully. And my gift
- 13:29Speaker 7: to West Virginia health Right because it will serve many
- 13:32Speaker 7: is one of the ways that I want to say
- 13:35Speaker 7: thank you to Charleston for everything this is where I
- 13:39Speaker 7: grew up. When I arrived in Charleston, I was a
- 13:42Speaker 7: very young and naive twenty seven year old. People can
- 13:45Speaker 7: grow up later in life, and I'm still in that process,
- 13:49Speaker 7: I might add. And I'm just so appreciative for the
- 13:54Speaker 7: love that has been shared and everything that I've experienced
- 13:59Speaker 7: having children here. I've given birth to two West Virginia
- 14:02Speaker 7: born children. They have produced five West Virginia born children.
- 14:07Speaker 7: And this is home. Baltimore is where I'm from, Charleston
- 14:11Speaker 7: and West Virginia is my home. Thank you all, And
- 14:15Speaker 7: you'll be back again in the new year, right, I
- 14:17Speaker 7: hope if you invite me. Oh yeah, absolutely absolutely. Just
- 14:20Speaker 7: Happy New Year, Happy New Year, and Merry Christmas to
- 14:23Speaker 7: one and all.
- 14:24Speaker 6: And to everything that you celebrate and whatever that makes
- 14:27Speaker 6: whatever it is, whatever it is.
- 14:28Speaker 7: I think we light the honika candle on the evening
- 14:32Speaker 7: of Christmas Day. Well, it's kind of strange this year.
- 14:35Speaker 6: Well let me tell you something next Tuesday. I started
- 14:39Speaker 6: this tradition a couple of years ago. And we'll close
- 14:41Speaker 6: with this of inviting your good friend of mine might
- 14:43Speaker 6: pushkin in, don't we don't talk about politics in this year?
- 14:48Speaker 6: It will be on December twenty fourth. We call it
- 14:50Speaker 6: the Jewish Christmas Spectacular. Oh Wow, and Mike, Mike comes
- 14:54Speaker 6: in or join us. Mike comes in with his guitar
- 14:58Speaker 6: and he does knocks out a couple of songs. We're
- 15:01Speaker 6: working on some folks to come with not that he
- 15:02Speaker 6: needs any help, but we're gonna have some people to
- 15:05Speaker 6: come in with him. I know my good friend, I
- 15:07Speaker 6: talked to him yesterday. I think Tony the Taylor, my
- 15:09Speaker 6: good friend Tony Paranzino is gonna gonna make an appearance
- 15:12Speaker 6: and some others. So if you're out and about on
- 15:14Speaker 6: Christmas Eve during the nine to ten, we'll be doing
- 15:17Speaker 6: the show. Stop by the Student.
- 15:19Speaker 7: I would love to do that, all right, Ja. Mike
- 15:21Speaker 7: is one of my favorite people.
- 15:22Speaker 6: And you can sing too. You can sing them money, Yeah,
- 15:24Speaker 6: I can actually. Okay, Well, there you are. We're gonna
- 15:26Speaker 6: improve it. Billie appreciate it. We'll talk to you, Sam.
- 15:28Speaker 7: Thanks all, blessings to you.

- 19:15Speaker 12: Celebrities are celebrities, man, That's just the way it is.
- 19:17Speaker 6: And it is all right. So I want to have
- 19:19Speaker 6: you and talk about a few things. First of all,
- 19:21Speaker 6: I want to I want to lead off by talking
- 19:23Speaker 6: about the obvious elephant in the room, and that is
- 19:25Speaker 6: the Senate presidency. It came down to you, Senators Randy
- 19:28Speaker 6: Smith and Tom Tacuba in the end, Randy Smith came
- 19:31Speaker 6: out as a new Senate president.
- 19:32Speaker 13: Your thoughts on that, Uh, you know, well, first of all,
- 19:35Speaker 13: I want to take congratulations to the Senator Smith and
- 19:38Speaker 13: his family. It's I mean, it's a really big deal
- 19:40Speaker 13: to him in his family, so it's a blessing to them.
- 19:44Speaker 13: So I just wanted to congratulate him on the air.
- 19:46Speaker 13: And Tom and Randy and I are all really good friends.
- 19:50Speaker 13: And as you know, the serving in the Senate together,
- 19:52Speaker 13: as long as we have, you you go through quite
- 19:55Speaker 13: a few gauntlets together, you know, so we're we're brothers.
- 19:58Speaker 13: But we had you know, very distinct differently visions for
- 20:01Speaker 13: the Senate and so those as that was shared, I
- 20:04Speaker 13: think it kind of really showed the almost the reflection
- 20:07Speaker 13: of what's happened nationally within the Republican Party, and we're
- 20:09Speaker 13: seeing that in the Republican Senate.
- 20:11Speaker 12: Uh, Senate.
- 20:12Speaker 6: So were you and you knew it was gonna happen,
- 20:14Speaker 6: I mean, because it happened to the Democrats and whoever's
- 20:16Speaker 6: in charge, that happens.
- 20:17Speaker 13: You know, yeah, and that's and that's what I mean.
- 20:18Speaker 13: We go we're probably going to have you know, at
- 20:20Speaker 13: least thirty two Republicans here in the Senate coming in,
- 20:23Speaker 13: so is with those thirty two out of thirty four seats,
- 20:28Speaker 13: you start losing a common enemy. So you start fighting
- 20:32Speaker 13: amongst yourselves a little bit. And fighting maybe is a
- 20:34Speaker 13: little aggressive term on it, but it's.
- 20:36Speaker 6: It wouldn't be the way the it wouldn't be the
- 20:39Speaker 6: way the system was set up if everybody went in
- 20:41Speaker 6: and just was a rubber stamp on everything. There needs
- 20:44Speaker 6: to be discussion. That's what the people, that's why they send.
- 20:46Speaker 12: You there one hundred percent.
- 20:47Speaker 13: I mean, it's the what you know, there's a always
- 20:50Speaker 13: have it in my head is that it's different forms
- 20:52Speaker 13: of warfare, you know, so you have actual warfare where
- 20:55Speaker 13: you have weapons, and you have political warfare, and you
- 20:56Speaker 13: have fiscal warfare those type of things. And this is
- 20:59Speaker 13: you know, are our legislature is where you you pick
- 21:02Speaker 13: a representative to go represent you and if it comes
- 21:04Speaker 13: to however aggressive, they need to represent you. That's what
- 21:07Speaker 13: you want, you know, you want a champion in there.
- 21:09Speaker 13: And so in the Senate members they certainly bring that
- 21:13Speaker 13: fur their different districts across the state.
- 21:15Speaker 6: What do you anticipate that the new session is going
- 21:18Speaker 6: to look like? And I'm and I asked this Eric
- 21:20Speaker 6: specifically for for you, what's it going to look like
- 21:23Speaker 6: for you with the changes that are coming up.
- 21:26Speaker 13: Yeah, so that's I don't expect me to be sitting
- 21:28Speaker 13: in a leadership position, uh, with with this new group
- 21:31Speaker 13: coming in that's taking leadership. The the Senate is set
- 21:35Speaker 13: up into really as it sits now, three different factions.
- 21:39Speaker 13: So you've got the the ones on uh, the Tomkuboat
- 21:43Speaker 13: side of things that and the ones that really had
- 21:46Speaker 13: strongly strongly support him. That are your people who business
- 21:52Speaker 13: is the first thing they want. If they're going to
- 21:55Speaker 13: have to deal with social issues. They're more to the
- 21:56Speaker 13: left side of the Republican issues with social issues, but
- 21:59Speaker 13: they're not have to deal with them if they don't
- 22:00Speaker 13: have to. And then on Randy's camp over there, you
- 22:04Speaker 13: have the people who feel more strongly that we should
- 22:06Speaker 13: deal and probably with the more freedom issues social issues,
- 22:10Speaker 13: less so with the larger macroeconomic issues, but if they
- 22:14Speaker 13: have to deal with macroeconomic issues, they'll be right on
- 22:16Speaker 13: them when we do that.
- 22:17Speaker 12: And then I was kind of in the middle of
- 22:19Speaker 12: all that. You know, I'm the guy both a little
- 22:21Speaker 12: bit of both.
- 22:21Speaker 13: Yeah, so I had, you know, I was fighting on
- 22:23Speaker 13: both fronts there for that seat. So with that new
- 22:26Speaker 13: group coming in, we are eye to eye on just
- 22:30Speaker 13: about every one of those freedom and social issues. The
- 22:34Speaker 13: difference being I would say that that I brought as
- 22:37Speaker 13: compared to Randy, is that I still have an eye
- 22:41Speaker 13: on the bigger picture economically, and I think that's you know,
- 22:43Speaker 13: that's why I ran, That's why I came up, and
- 22:46Speaker 13: so that's what I wanted to focus on.
- 22:47Speaker 12: So I'll step.
- 22:50Speaker 13: Back and kind of let those two groups figure out,
- 22:54Speaker 13: you know, which way the sen is going to go
- 22:55Speaker 13: this next session. So for me personally, I'm going to
- 22:58Speaker 13: focus on district. You know, it's a I've had an
- 23:00Speaker 13: incredible run as a senator up here, and we'll continue
- 23:02Speaker 13: to work my tail off for Senate District four. You know,
- 23:06Speaker 13: if you look at everything that's happened over the past
- 23:07Speaker 13: few years, we have new Core come down there, which
- 23:10Speaker 13: is three billion dollar investment we have time at that
- 23:11Speaker 13: came in the Ravens Wood up in Jackson County up
- 23:15Speaker 13: there that area that is a huge investment and continues
- 23:19Speaker 13: to grow in investments in northern Mason County. There's several
- 23:23Speaker 13: companies that we can't really go out and disclose those
- 23:25Speaker 13: names yet. But they are also multiples of billions of
- 23:28Speaker 13: dollars are coming investment, major housing development growing like crazy
- 23:32Speaker 13: all over this district now, and infrastructure projects. So there's
- 23:36Speaker 13: a lot for me to be to go back and
- 23:38Speaker 13: make sure that we tend to that growth in District four.
- 23:42Speaker 12: So I have plenty to do.
- 23:43Speaker 13: I've got plenty to do, and that's a you know,
- 23:44Speaker 13: I'm gonna those things. I've been really blessed and feel
- 23:49Speaker 13: grateful that I was able to be part of that,
- 23:51Speaker 13: and so I want to make sure that it's nourished.

- 24:06Speaker 6: Filter dot us because everyone deserves fresh air. I think,
- 24:09Speaker 6: get your opinion on something here. As far as Randy
- 24:12Speaker 6: Smith as a leader, because Craig Blair was there eight
- 24:17Speaker 6: days a week, I mean he you know, he was there,
- 24:20Speaker 6: and a house speaker Roger Henshaw realizes as well that
- 24:24Speaker 6: when you are the leader of the legislative the respective
- 24:28Speaker 6: legislative groups. Although we have a part time citizen legislature.
- 24:34Speaker 6: In my opinion and observing this for a long time
- 24:37Speaker 6: and having good friends that have served there, it's not
- 24:40Speaker 6: a part time job. I mean, if you're a legislator,
- 24:44Speaker 6: like you're about to be a legislator, it can be
- 24:46Speaker 6: up where you've got to ord knows you have enough
- 24:48Speaker 6: else to keep you busy. But if you're in a
- 24:50Speaker 6: leadership position like that, like the Senate President, like the
- 24:55Speaker 6: like the Speaker of the House, it's really not a
- 24:57Speaker 6: part time job. There have been those that have said
- 25:00Speaker 6: Pine on this show and Hoppy and others that, with
- 25:04Speaker 6: all due respect to Randy Smith, and I don't mean
- 25:06Speaker 6: this in a disparage in a way that he may
- 25:08Speaker 6: not be as hands on. Do you see that as
- 25:11Speaker 6: being if that if that is the case, senator, do
- 25:13Speaker 6: you see that as being problematic?
- 25:16Speaker 3: Man?
- 25:16Speaker 13: That's that's pointed question. So my my gut instinct says yes.
- 25:20Speaker 13: So I've had in my time up there, and I'm
- 25:22Speaker 13: speaking strictly, this is you know, from Eric, this is you,
- 25:25Speaker 13: this is this is me, this is me. You know,
- 25:27Speaker 13: I came up as a as an advisor under Bill
- 25:30Speaker 13: Cole up there when he was Sentate president and so
- 25:33Speaker 13: worked on him as an advisor.
- 25:34Speaker 12: I was there with Mitch as an advisor.
- 25:37Speaker 13: And also that's serving as a senator when Mitch Carmichael
- 25:39Speaker 13: was sent a president, worked also very closely of course
- 25:43Speaker 13: with Craig Blair senter president. So in my time in
- 25:46Speaker 13: the Senate, I have worked more out of that Senate
- 25:48Speaker 13: President's office than I have any other office in the
- 25:50Speaker 13: cap including my finance office. It's just it's just just
- 25:52Speaker 13: where my role has been. In part that's partly where
- 25:55Speaker 13: I think it's cost me to send you know, the
- 25:56Speaker 13: president race as well. It is just because it's I've
- 25:59Speaker 13: been very focused on that that the work of there
- 26:03Speaker 13: of the Centate President's office, and so one of the
- 26:05Speaker 13: things that I do know is that every one of
- 26:07Speaker 13: those men that were in that position put in way
- 26:10Speaker 13: more than forty hours a week into that job. And
- 26:12Speaker 13: it's we came that group came in up to really
- 26:17Speaker 13: fix major, major economic issues in West Virginia and and
- 26:23Speaker 13: been doing that. And so now you see Westvirginia turn
- 26:26Speaker 13: a curve and we're growing just exponentially, and you're gonna
- 26:29Speaker 13: see that the steam that's heading this way on economic
- 26:33Speaker 13: growth is not slowing down. It will not for several years.
- 26:35Speaker 13: You couldn't get in the way of it right now
- 26:37Speaker 13: if you tried, so that with that growth, it takes
- 26:42Speaker 13: a lot more than you can ever imagine when you
- 26:44Speaker 13: start dealing with billions and deck of billions of GDP
- 26:50Speaker 13: growth that that you.
- 26:53Speaker 12: See from that.
- 26:53Speaker 13: So if if you do not tend it well, then
- 26:58Speaker 13: you slow the momentum. And we want as much of
- 27:00Speaker 13: that moment as we possibly can. So you know, for me,
- 27:04Speaker 13: I really do think that the man or a woman
- 27:07Speaker 13: who would ever sit in that seat that it absolutely
- 27:10Speaker 13: deserves the people of West Virginia deserve full time effort there.
- 27:15Speaker 6: Eric explain what happened with the special session that wasn't
- 27:18Speaker 6: a week ago. Interims were already scheduled. We already know that,
- 27:21Speaker 6: but there was talk about a special session to deal
- 27:23Speaker 6: with economic development. There have been all sorts of talks
- 27:26Speaker 6: to what it may or may not have been, perhaps
- 27:28Speaker 6: a data center. Last week I had Senator Glenn Jefferies
- 27:33Speaker 6: on the show, and he and I were kind of
- 27:35Speaker 6: on the same page referring to what it may have been.
- 27:37Speaker 6: He indicated that it may that's not dead. Do you
- 27:40Speaker 6: care to comment.
- 27:41Speaker 12: It's not dead. Yeah, it's not dead.
- 27:43Speaker 13: There's and it's one of many of these type investments
- 27:46Speaker 13: that we're looking at.
- 27:48Speaker 12: I think that.
- 27:51Speaker 13: One is that Governor Justice on his way out is
- 27:55Speaker 13: juggling the transition from leaving the Governor's office to going
- 28:00Speaker 13: into a US Senate seat for one and all the staff.
- 28:02Speaker 12: That's there along with that as well.
- 28:05Speaker 13: And the group that that really was wanting this legislation
- 28:10Speaker 13: passed felt like that it was urgent for them to
- 28:13Speaker 13: get it passed. As it was communicated to the Governor's office,
- 28:16Speaker 13: I believe now the communication to the legislature on what
- 28:21Speaker 13: the legislation would do was less than stellar, I would say,
- 28:26Speaker 13: by how fast it came to us and the description
- 28:29Speaker 13: of actually what was going on. So you really can't
- 28:32Speaker 13: deal with one hundred and thirty four people like that
- 28:34Speaker 13: that are coming up and then you have it's a
- 28:36Speaker 13: major piece of legislation. It's it's pretty significant on what
- 28:39Speaker 13: that legislation would do. So as we got the looking at,
- 28:41Speaker 13: there's an awful lot of questions and in the timeframe
- 28:44Speaker 13: that was given by that group to answer those questions
- 28:47Speaker 13: was just not going to be able to happen.
- 28:48Speaker 12: I don't think so actually get the legislation passed.
- 28:51Speaker 13: So once that that was pulled back, it was revealed
- 28:58Speaker 13: that that time frame really was as urgent maybe as
- 29:01Speaker 13: we anticipated it could be what it was brought to us.
- 29:04Speaker 13: So I think that you'll see the legislation come back
- 29:06Speaker 13: around in regular session. I do not think you're gonna
- 29:09Speaker 13: see anything that hinders the investment that's coming at the
- 29:11Speaker 13: scale of that investment relatively stalling until regular session, and
- 29:18Speaker 13: the stuff we're looking at really will have a huge
- 29:22Speaker 13: future impact on the state of West Virginia, and it's
- 29:25Speaker 13: important to get it right.
- 29:26Speaker 6: Once we get through the holiday season and we get
- 29:29Speaker 6: the new governor in office, and we get the new
- 29:33Speaker 6: Center President, so on and so forth. Once you when
- 29:35Speaker 6: you folks on legislature, get down to business. What's on
- 29:37Speaker 6: the what's on the plate? What what?
- 29:39Speaker 11: What?
- 29:39Speaker 6: What's exciting you about the upcoming session? What are some
- 29:42Speaker 6: things that Eric Tarr would like to see?
- 29:45Speaker 14: You know?
- 29:45Speaker 5: Uh?
- 29:45Speaker 13: For me, I think it's that we we double down.
- 29:49Speaker 13: If I if if, what would I like to see it?
- 29:50Speaker 13: I like to see we double down on making sure
- 29:53Speaker 13: that we get our government as efficient as possible. I'm
- 29:56Speaker 13: really excited that Patrick Morsey has that same agenda, so
- 30:00Speaker 13: I'll be happy to support and help him with that
- 30:02Speaker 13: in his really his honeymoon years he comes in as
- 30:04Speaker 13: governor and having the first really long time Republican with
- 30:08Speaker 13: a Republican agenda coming in and somebody who's really championing
- 30:11Speaker 13: that from the get go, with a history that backs
- 30:15Speaker 13: it up. So I'm excited about getting into that and
- 30:19Speaker 13: making the government of West Virginia work for the people
- 30:24Speaker 13: of West Virginia rather than it being the other way around,
- 30:27Speaker 13: which we have in several agencies when you get four
- 30:30Speaker 13: or five levels deep in them. So I'm excited about that.
- 30:33Speaker 13: What that offers to the people of West Virginia is
- 30:36Speaker 13: that your tax dollars that go in is improved value
- 30:39Speaker 13: from those tax dollars and hopefully going forward, less of
- 30:43Speaker 13: them required to run government, which ultimately we really really
- 30:49Speaker 13: really need to get to that at least a fifty
- 30:51Speaker 13: percent reduction and income tax to be competitive. If that's
- 30:54Speaker 13: the way we're going to address our tax structure as
- 30:56Speaker 13: opposed to personal property tax, or we're going need to
- 30:58Speaker 13: really focus on property tax, and those are two huge
- 31:01Speaker 13: advantages that we can keep this moment. I'm going for
- 31:04Speaker 13: generations to come. We've got to be competitive on this front.

- 31:23Speaker 6: the book is written about the relationship and the the governorship,
- 31:28Speaker 6: if you will, the administration of Governor Jim Justice. One
- 31:32Speaker 6: of the chapters in that in that in that metaphorical book,
- 31:36Speaker 6: Eric will be that the governor did not always have
- 31:40Speaker 6: the best relationship with with with with leadership, particularly in
- 31:46Speaker 6: the Senate. And we look back and we look at
- 31:48Speaker 6: the property tax deal, we look at various things. And
- 31:50Speaker 6: so do you anticipate a better relationship with incoming Governor Morrison?
- 31:55Speaker 13: I do solely on that you'll have a governor who's present.
- 31:58Speaker 13: He's present in the engaged and so when you when
- 32:02Speaker 13: you have with with all due respect to Governor Justice,
- 32:08Speaker 13: the way that he ran things, he kind of ran
- 32:11Speaker 13: removed from the process a lot, which created more friction
- 32:14Speaker 13: than was necessary. I think when you have somebody who's
- 32:17Speaker 13: going to be involved in the process that certainly gives opportunity.
- 32:19Speaker 12: For friction too.
- 32:21Speaker 13: But I think you're gonna have somebody who's going to
- 32:23Speaker 13: have a better handle on understanding.
- 32:28Speaker 12: The the the view of.
- 32:29Speaker 13: The legislature as you're moving forward on policy and working
- 32:31Speaker 13: a little closer on making sure you have a common view.
- 32:34Speaker 13: And when you can do that, man, if we if
- 32:36Speaker 13: we have and I'm this is I'm so optimistic for
- 32:38Speaker 13: what's coming in because here here's the thing to get
- 32:40Speaker 13: excited about.
- 32:41Speaker 12: Got you got.
- 32:41Speaker 13: You've got a Republican governor who's excited about coming in
- 32:44Speaker 13: and running a really Republican agenda. You have a mega
- 32:47Speaker 13: majority of Republican legislature who's excited to have that governor.
- 32:51Speaker 13: And if he comes in and gets it right, he's
- 32:53Speaker 13: going to be smacking that ball right in the threads.
- 32:56Speaker 13: I mean, it's just uh have every opportunity to So
- 32:59Speaker 13: I'm ex side to be able to go in and
- 33:01Speaker 13: be in locksteps as our three chambers, an executive, Senate,
- 33:06Speaker 13: in the house in making an impact for the future
- 33:10Speaker 13: West Virginia. So I'm excited about that. I think it's
- 33:12Speaker 13: going to be a better relationship.
- 33:14Speaker 6: It's an ary tarm anything you want to close, anything
- 33:17Speaker 6: on your mind, wish people have Merry Christmas, whatever you
- 33:20Speaker 6: want to do.
- 33:20Speaker 13: But I want to congratulate the Winfield Generals last night
- 33:23Speaker 13: from winning their second their second basketball game or gets
- 33:26Speaker 13: sense of a Cistonville. I think it was sixty forty
- 33:27Speaker 13: five last night. It's a big deal for that group.
- 33:30Speaker 13: They're playing a bunch of freshmen out there and they're
- 33:31Speaker 13: winning games.
- 33:32Speaker 6: And you know something about the head coach of Winfield, right.
- 33:34Speaker 12: Yeah, he's a good guy. You know.
- 33:35Speaker 13: It's also happens to be your brother. Happens to be
- 33:38Speaker 13: my brother. Happy to be my brother. Yeah, the varsity
- 33:39Speaker 13: head coach down there, he's a good dude. So that
- 33:42Speaker 13: and just merry Christmas to everybody. Be careful on the
- 33:45Speaker 13: roads today.
- 33:45Speaker 12: I came up.
- 33:46Speaker 13: It is an absolute gauntlet if you're traveling the interstate
- 33:48Speaker 13: this morning, so you're dodging everybody and everything that's left
- 33:51Speaker 13: on the road from the accidents.
- 33:52Speaker 6: Yeah, and it's just rain. I mean, that's the thing
- 33:55Speaker 6: we talked about with Larry Dawson earlier. There's far more
- 33:57Speaker 6: accidents in rain than there is in snow, so it's
- 34:00Speaker 6: going to be like this all day, So please please
- 34:02Speaker 6: just use caution. I did have a text here and
- 34:04Speaker 6: I want to ask you this on your way out
- 34:06Speaker 6: the door. Have you been asked to service finance chare again?
- 34:09Speaker 6: If so, did you decline?
- 34:11Speaker 4: Yes?
- 34:11Speaker 13: I have been asked, and yes I declined. There's I
- 34:14Speaker 13: think that this this new group coming in the relationship.
- 34:19Speaker 13: Let me let me, let me posture this the relationship
- 34:21Speaker 13: between the Senate President and the Finance chair. To operate
- 34:25Speaker 13: it like I have operated as a finance chair requires
- 34:29Speaker 13: absolute trust.
- 34:30Speaker 12: It just does.
- 34:32Speaker 13: When you're going in and there are big battles that
- 34:34Speaker 13: you have over lots of dollars. What you can't do
- 34:38Speaker 13: is is from finance chair, at least in my perspective,
- 34:42Speaker 13: be worried about the Senate President cutting your knees out
- 34:45Speaker 13: for potentially either not understanding or not being involved in
- 34:49Speaker 13: the discussion at a very high level. And then have
- 34:51Speaker 13: the trust that what you're doing is in the best
- 34:54Speaker 13: interest of the state, so that you you you're fighting
- 34:58Speaker 13: back to back in those two positions, you're back upped
- 35:00Speaker 13: each other, and you handle the left, I'm handling the right.
- 35:04Speaker 13: I didn't feel like I could have that level of
- 35:07Speaker 13: relationship with really anybody else who would have went into
- 35:10Speaker 13: that Senate president's seat.
- 35:11Speaker 12: And that's why I ran. That's just just why I
- 35:13Speaker 12: ran for cent president.
- 35:14Speaker 13: I would have stay in that sentence, financed share as
- 35:15Speaker 13: long as I had somebody like Craig Blair. They're serving
- 35:18Speaker 13: as president for as long as the people would have
- 35:21Speaker 13: me there. I don't feel like that same opportunity is
- 35:25Speaker 13: there now with a with somebody else that's in our
- 35:28Speaker 13: caucus that would step up into that seat. And so
- 35:31Speaker 13: I made it very clear to the caucus that that
- 35:34Speaker 13: I did not expect once once Craig had lost his race,
- 35:37Speaker 13: is that I did not expect to continue as Finance chair.
- 35:40Speaker 6: All right, Siner, Eric Tarbill, leave it there. I appreciate

- 39:40Speaker 6: to get into and just a bet, and that is
- 39:43Speaker 6: the murder of Brian Thompson, the CEO of a United
- 39:48Speaker 6: Healthcare and a new poll first reported on by The Hill,
- 39:52Speaker 6: but several institutions have reported it, including Emmercy College, which

- 40:11Speaker 6: What does twenty twenty five look look like for business

- 40:16Speaker 6: to those folks from the Chamber of Commerce coming up
- 40:19Speaker 6: on tomorrow's show. I want to talk a little bit
- 40:21Speaker 6: about politics this morning before we go to break. I'm
- 40:24Speaker 6: kind of over time here. I did find it interesting
- 40:28Speaker 6: that there seemed to be some issues popping up with
- 40:32Speaker 6: the State Democratic Party. On Monday, State Democratic Party Chair
- 40:37Speaker 6: and Delegate Mike Pushkin issued a statement on behalf of
- 40:40Speaker 6: the state party saying that they were quote disappointed by
- 40:44Speaker 6: the Biden administration's decision to commute the sentences of individuals
- 40:49Speaker 6: convicted of public corruption. Quote here from Pushkin. Some of
- 40:53Speaker 6: these pardons are the kinds of pardons we would expect
- 40:56Speaker 6: from President elect Trump, not President Byte. He then mentioned
- 41:02Speaker 6: in the piece a few of the pardons that President
- 41:05Speaker 6: Biden has handed out. And I only bring this up
- 41:07Speaker 6: because it's not often, As Steven Allen Adams of Ogden
- 41:11Speaker 6: Newspapers pointed out on x, it's not often that you
- 41:14Speaker 6: see a state party chair of any party criticize the
- 41:18Speaker 6: sitting president of the same party. I mean, you know,
- 41:22Speaker 6: there's no way that any Republican party state chair is
- 41:26Speaker 6: going to do that to Donald Trump. In the meantime,
- 41:31Speaker 6: there are some speaking out against the fact that the
- 41:36Speaker 6: guy who was at least for a time a delegate
- 41:38Speaker 6: elect switched his party from Republican to Democrat as kind
- 41:43Speaker 6: of a screw you to the Republican caucus. Of course,
- 41:46Speaker 6: I'm talking about mister de Soto, who is charged with
- 41:49Speaker 6: making terroristic threats against other legislators. Some on social media,
- 41:57Speaker 6: including former Legislator Rick Stateton, who has been on the
- 41:59Speaker 6: show show in the past, have criticized the State Democratic
- 42:04Speaker 6: Party for not condemning in a timely manner the threats
- 42:07Speaker 6: allegedly made by De Soto against his fellow legislators. Now, granted,
- 42:12Speaker 6: I have not spoken to party Cherdell Mike Pushkin about this.
- 42:15Speaker 6: The next time, as I mentioned earlier, he scheduled to
- 42:17Speaker 6: be on the show is next Tuesday, and that will
- 42:19Speaker 6: be cheap programming plug here a politics free day, as
- 42:22Speaker 6: we will again be presenting our giant Jewish Christmas Spectacular
- 42:26Speaker 6: as we do each Christmas feature in the music stylings
- 42:29Speaker 6: of one Mike Pushkin. Get him on the show at
- 42:33Speaker 6: a different time to talk about that, I promise, but
- 42:34Speaker 6: we're not going to talk about it when he's on
- 42:36Speaker 6: on Tuesday. I think the Mountaineers did better at what
- 42:40Speaker 6: some people thought they would in the Scooter's Coffee Frisco
- 42:43Speaker 6: Bowl last night in Texas. They of course lost forty
- 42:45Speaker 6: two to thirty seven, but after going to sleep to
- 42:49Speaker 6: the first half, they actually came alive in the second half.
- 42:51Speaker 6: They were down seventeen at one point before the comeback.
- 42:54Speaker 6: The Mountaineers finished six and seven on the season. Now,
- 42:57Speaker 6: Coop's on vacation this week and I've been setting in
- 42:59Speaker 6: for him to the first hour of Hotline with Dave Weekly,
- 43:02Speaker 6: and the question of the day yesterday on Weekly was
- 43:06Speaker 6: next season, if Rod goes seven and six. As a
- 43:10Speaker 6: Mountaineer fan, would you be happy? Well? This season under
- 43:14Speaker 6: Neil Brown and the term coach Chad Scott last night
- 43:16Speaker 6: they finished six and seven. Not a lot of people
- 43:18Speaker 6: happy about that going back to a next season. My
- 43:22Speaker 6: contention is if the Mountaineers go seven and six but
- 43:25Speaker 6: still beat Pitt, that might take some of the sting
- 43:28Speaker 6: out of Otherwise what was a disappointing season. Anyway, the
- 43:31Speaker 6: Mountaineers close out the season with the loss. Now they
- 43:33Speaker 6: get ready for the twenty twenty five season and the
- 43:35Speaker 6: return of rich Rod Hoppy we'll talk more about the
- 43:37Speaker 6: Bowl game on talk line this morning weekly and I
- 43:39Speaker 6: will talk about it on the hotline. Of course. Then
- 43:41Speaker 6: you know the Sportsland guys are going to be all
- 43:43Speaker 6: over it too. So now that wvu's out, Marshall's out,

- 46:35Speaker 6: So A lot has been written about the killing of
- 46:38Speaker 6: United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson. Luigi Manjoni is charged. It's tragedy.
- 46:45Speaker 6: I think we all admit all around, but apparently not
- 46:50Speaker 6: everyone feels that way. There is a poll out and
- 46:54Speaker 6: it just goes to show you in my opinion, where
- 46:58Speaker 6: we are as a society. Emerson College is out with
- 47:02Speaker 6: a poll that says forty one percent of young people
- 47:07Speaker 6: and define here as ages eighteen to twenty nine, that
- 47:14Speaker 6: forty one percent say that the killing of the CEO
- 47:18Speaker 6: of United Healthcare was justifiable. It takes a lot for
- 47:26Speaker 6: somebody who's been in this chair for the last four
- 47:29Speaker 6: years and been doing this for thirty six years to
- 47:30Speaker 6: be shocked by something. But when I first heard that
- 47:35Speaker 6: on the radio, and then I did a little research
- 47:37Speaker 6: on it, it, I was totally floored by that that
- 47:46Speaker 6: forty one percent think it was justified. And this is
- 47:50Speaker 6: young people that we're talking about between the ages of
- 47:53Speaker 6: eighteen to twenty nine. That's how they defined you know,
- 47:55Speaker 6: That's how I would define them.
- 47:59Speaker 4: In five In.
- 48:00Speaker 6: Doing a little digging, not only do an alarming number
- 48:06Speaker 6: of people find the killing okay, and trust me, it's
- 48:09Speaker 6: not just those between the ages of eighteen and forty nine.
- 48:13Speaker 6: That's just what they pulled here. A great number of
- 48:16Speaker 6: people are donating thousands of dollars to the alleged killer's
- 48:23Speaker 6: defense fund, even as going so far as to put
- 48:28Speaker 6: money in his prison commissary account. Because he's being viewed
- 48:36Speaker 6: by many as a hero now and that's where we
- 48:49Speaker 6: are right now, and doing a little checking on the
- 48:55Speaker 6: man that they call BT, Brian Thompson. I think I've
- 48:58Speaker 6: got a friend named Brian Thompson has been on the
- 48:59Speaker 6: show show. I think if your name is Brian Thompson,
- 49:01Speaker 6: they automatically call you BT. But uh, he was a father,
- 49:07Speaker 6: he was a husband, rose up through the ranks in
- 49:12Speaker 6: the healthcare he was an accountant by trade, rose up
- 49:14Speaker 6: through the ranks. And look, our is our healthcare system
- 49:18Speaker 6: in America? Fine? And is it good? No? No, it's
- 49:21Speaker 6: not okay in a lot of ways. However, however, that's
- 49:27Speaker 6: where we are now, that we're saying that the killing
- 49:29Speaker 6: of someone is justifiable. That's that's that's that's where we are.
- 49:36Speaker 6: But Dave Island showing five and I brought to you

- 49:47Speaker 6: For an appointment three zero four, seven, six zero fifty
- 49:50Speaker 6: six sixty or visit Generations PT dot com. I don't
- 49:54Speaker 6: know it just it just it just floored me when
- 49:57Speaker 6: I read that, Uh Tex says that United Healthcare, see,
- 50:00Speaker 6: you know, made forty four million dollars by denying people
- 50:02Speaker 6: to service that they've paid for. These people had a
- 50:05Speaker 6: worse quality of life or died because of that greed.
- 50:08Speaker 6: I don't see why it's so difficult to understand the
- 50:10Speaker 6: lack of sympathy for the CEO, because, uh he was
- 50:14Speaker 6: a father, because he was a fellow human being. Maybe
- 50:19Speaker 6: removed from the job if he was doing such a
- 50:21Speaker 6: piss poor job. But to say his killing is justified, really,
- 50:30Speaker 6: Dex says, that's really not surprising to me concerning there's
- 50:33Speaker 6: eighty one million people that voted for a person that's
- 50:35Speaker 6: going to pardon nine hundred people that beat the crap
- 50:38Speaker 6: out of a policeman on January sixth for zero reason,
- 50:41Speaker 6: and these people think it's okay. Speaking of pardons, someone
- 50:44Speaker 6: sent me a text about the number of pardons, and
- 50:47Speaker 6: I don't know, there's no there's there's no evidence on
- 50:52Speaker 6: this as to where this came from, but it was
- 50:55Speaker 6: a number of presidential pardons according to this, Joe Biden
- 50:57Speaker 6: eighty sixty two, Donald Trump two thirty seven. Now again,
- 51:01Speaker 6: I don't know what that's based on. That was just
- 51:02Speaker 6: numbers that were sent to me. Tex says, I'm not
- 51:05Speaker 6: surprised at the support of the CEO murder when everyday
- 51:08Speaker 6: folks see the dumbing down on the value of life,
- 51:11Speaker 6: when a million murders of unborn babies are glorified by
- 51:14Speaker 6: the media. As God says, be sure your sin will
- 51:17Speaker 6: find you out. Tex says, You're concerned that this is
- 51:21Speaker 6: where we are as a society, aren't we all? But
- 51:24Speaker 6: why are we here? It's obvious we disregard God and
- 51:28Speaker 6: his word and refuse to bring him into the public
- 51:30Speaker 6: square where he should be, and the public square in
- 51:33Speaker 6: our homes and in our hearts, says a Texter. Texas
- 51:36Speaker 6: Westernginia democratic parties and shambles, the leaders are going in

- 51:59Speaker 6: because what you don't know can hurts you. Texas Dave,
- 52:03Speaker 6: should we be shocked anymore? Notice that there has not
- 52:06Speaker 6: been one Democrat demanding more gun control after the United
- 52:09Speaker 6: CEO's murder. They did after the Wisconsin shooting. However, Thompson's
- 52:14Speaker 6: killing was quote excused and blamed on the evil healthcare
- 52:16Speaker 6: and insurance industry. So apparently the murder was justified and
- 52:20Speaker 6: praised in the warped minds of these loons. Ninety eight
- 52:23Speaker 6: percent of Republicans think January sixth was beautiful and righteous.
- 52:26Speaker 6: Want to clutch your pearls harder about the views of
