- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: It's almost Famus podcast.
- 0:07Speaker 3: We're here today with headlines, but I think the most
- 0:10Speaker 3: interesting exciting story of the week is a girls trip
- 0:16Speaker 3: that happened. Yeah, Nashville, Tennessee. Wonderful place, beautiful place, and
- 0:23Speaker 3: luckily we're bringing in a really special guest today to
- 0:26Speaker 3: talk about the weekend.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Who was there herself? Ashley? What's up? Hi?
- 0:32Speaker 4: Yes, we had the best weekend ever.
- 0:34Speaker 5: We stayed at Caitlin's house. So it is Caitlin Carly,
- 0:38Speaker 5: who's also a Nashville native.
- 0:40Speaker 4: Becka. I don't know if I need Do I need
- 0:42Speaker 4: last names here?
- 0:44Speaker 5: Do you think the Almost Famous podcast they know everybody
- 0:48Speaker 5: by first.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Name, Jade and Me and Whitney.
- 0:52Speaker 5: And it was so great. It was like the it
- 0:56Speaker 5: was the perfect girl's weekend. You know, girls out there
- 0:59Speaker 5: know a lot of the times you'll get your girls
- 1:01Speaker 5: together and there'll be someone who's like bringing down the
- 1:04Speaker 5: bunch or someone that you're talking about like when they
- 1:08Speaker 5: leave the room, or like the event about when you
- 1:10Speaker 5: leave the trip.
- 1:12Speaker 4: This was one hundred percent positive.
- 1:15Speaker 5: I was only calling like my sister to like tell
- 1:18Speaker 5: funny stories and be like you wouldn't believe what the
- 1:21Speaker 5: story that's.
- 1:22Speaker 4: So and so told.
- 1:23Speaker 5: And it was the greatest, most like heart filling girls
- 1:27Speaker 5: trip together. Collectively, we haven't seen each other like that
- 1:31Speaker 5: in eleven years since we filmed the show. I have
- 1:35Speaker 5: obviously seen I see Caitlin probably at least once a
- 1:38Speaker 5: year in person, and then I beca at least once
- 1:41Speaker 5: a year in person, and Jade's same, Carly I see
- 1:45Speaker 5: like every year or two, and then Whitney I actually
- 1:48Speaker 5: don't think i've seen since, like maybe in person since filming.
- 1:53Speaker 5: We've done podcasts with her together. But it was so
- 1:57Speaker 5: fulfilling heart and soul. It was great, and Caitlyn was
- 2:01Speaker 5: the hostess with the absolute mosess like she has a
- 2:05Speaker 5: guest room for all of us. We all had our
- 2:07Speaker 5: own room, and then she had a private bartender come
- 2:13Speaker 5: the night of that we got there.
- 2:15Speaker 4: We had.
- 2:15Speaker 5: What I loved about this was that it wasn't like
- 2:18Speaker 5: a high glam thing like the and it wasn't overly done.
- 2:23Speaker 4: It was just perfect.
- 2:26Speaker 5: She had a bartender com for just the six of
- 2:29Speaker 5: us as we dressed up like witches, just for the
- 2:31Speaker 5: six of us, and then.
- 2:35Speaker 2: We had she had catering. She had sushi chefs come over.
- 2:39Speaker 5: It was as if we were like staying at a resort,
- 2:42Speaker 5: but it was Caitlyn's house and she had little goodie
- 2:45Speaker 5: baskets in each of the rooms.
- 2:47Speaker 4: She was such a fantastic host.
- 2:48Speaker 5: She booked a private Pilateus class for us on Saturday morning,
- 2:52Speaker 5: and then we went and got like Caesars and fries
- 2:54Speaker 5: and had like the nicest girl's bride that is.
- 2:56Speaker 2: The gliest, by the way, hold up, time out.
- 2:58Speaker 4: The gurliest thing ever.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Just the idea that that was a thought is one
- 3:04Speaker 3: hilarious too.
- 3:05Speaker 2: It's like my favorite meal, but mine's a cops out.
- 3:07Speaker 2: It is the best.
- 3:08Speaker 4: Okay, it's the best meal.
- 3:09Speaker 2: That made me laugh. Yeah.
- 3:12Speaker 5: Then it was Carl's fortieth birthday, so we decorated cowboy hats.
- 3:16Speaker 5: This place called Wrestler and then we decorated that sounds
- 3:20Speaker 5: like a gurly project. I thought it was gonna be
- 3:22Speaker 5: a Gurly project. It's actually like pretty straight up cowboy.
- 3:26Speaker 5: And then we went to a rooftop for drinks, and
- 3:29Speaker 5: then we went to dinner and then we went home.
- 3:31Speaker 5: And let me tell you a lot of times making
- 3:34Speaker 5: Instagram content and seems like fun. When you're watching and
- 3:38Speaker 5: you're scrolling on Instagram, it's usually a lot of work
- 3:42Speaker 5: and there's not a lot of fun to it. We
- 3:44Speaker 5: did these Instagram these trends. It actually the whole weekend
- 3:48Speaker 5: started because of a trend Caitlin. This isn't a girl
- 3:52Speaker 5: chat group that we normally have going on, but she
- 3:55Speaker 5: had texted a group of us.
- 3:58Speaker 2: Saying we should do this trend.
- 4:00Speaker 5: And she just meant we should all send in like
- 4:03Speaker 5: our own clip of us, just you know, from Chris's season,
- 4:07Speaker 5: and then a clip of us from now and she's like,
- 4:11Speaker 5: and I'll compile them.
- 4:12Speaker 4: And I was like, well, what if we do it
- 4:13Speaker 4: in person?
- 4:14Speaker 5: And then I was like, I'm available this Like I
- 4:17Speaker 5: picked a weekend that I knew would be very free,
- 4:20Speaker 5: and then Carly was like, that's my fortieth birthday weekend
- 4:23Speaker 5: and she was like, and I just broke up with
- 4:24Speaker 5: my fiance and I could really use this. And that's
- 4:28Speaker 5: how the plans got out of the group chat.
- 4:32Speaker 4: As they say, I.
- 4:33Speaker 3: Mean, it's absolutely spectacular. I think this is so fun.
- 4:36Speaker 3: I love personally. One of my favorite things to see
- 4:40Speaker 3: on social media and to see with my friends is
- 4:44Speaker 3: like people coming together around a table again, right, celebrating, sharing,
- 4:49Speaker 3: just reminiscing. This seemed like the perfect weekend for that. Now,
- 4:54Speaker 3: were you able to enjoy yourselves without social media or
- 4:58Speaker 3: was this overly social media load?
- 5:00Speaker 5: No?
- 5:00Speaker 1: I I.
- 5:02Speaker 4: Didn't finish my thought there.
- 5:03Speaker 5: But the reason I say that like, sometimes it looks fun,
- 5:06Speaker 5: but it's usually not.
- 5:08Speaker 4: It's usually actually work.
- 5:10Speaker 5: We had the greatest time making these instagrams and TikTok,
- 5:15Speaker 5: some of which haven't been out yet. It was like
- 5:18Speaker 5: a creative outlet for us, and it felt as if
- 5:21Speaker 5: we were in nineteen ninety eight being like ten to
- 5:25Speaker 5: twelve year olds making Spice Girls music videos.
- 5:29Speaker 4: Like that's what it felt like.
- 5:31Speaker 5: We were watching back footage twenty four hours after filming.
- 5:35Speaker 4: Something, and we were actually like on the floor.
- 5:38Speaker 5: I was holding my foot to like my crotch to
- 5:42Speaker 5: make sure I didn't actually pee my pants because we
- 5:45Speaker 5: were laughing so hard. It hurts watching this stuff back.
- 5:50Speaker 5: So it was great. It was absolutely like the most fun.
- 5:54Speaker 5: And then I would never do a dance TikTok. But
- 5:56Speaker 5: then I got like the mirror Ball Trophy winner teaching
- 6:00Speaker 5: you how to do a TikTok dance, and she's just
- 6:01Speaker 5: like having the time.
- 6:02Speaker 4: It was just the best. It was so much fun.
- 6:04Speaker 5: And no, I wasn't like we were doing social media
- 6:07Speaker 5: the entire time. It was an asset to the weekend
- 6:09Speaker 5: and it was only a few hours.
- 6:11Speaker 3: Okay, some rapid fire questions for you. Okay, did you
- 6:14Speaker 3: call chrys Souls?
- 6:16Speaker 4: No, that would be weird because Whitney was there.
- 6:18Speaker 2: You know, if is that weird? I don't know.
- 6:21Speaker 5: Yes, that was not like, you know, would Laurene call
- 6:25Speaker 5: you in a group situation.
- 6:28Speaker 3: I think if all the other girls were like, can
- 6:30Speaker 3: we let's do it, that'd be funny. I think she'd
- 6:32Speaker 3: be like whatever, I don't care, Like he's not gonna.
- 6:35Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know.
- 6:36Speaker 3: Maybe no, I don't think i'd be Okay, was there
- 6:40Speaker 3: any competition like that was brought up from eleven years
- 6:45Speaker 3: ago back at this house, like did you stare one
- 6:47Speaker 3: of these girls down? Like, hey, you made it farther
- 6:50Speaker 3: than me, but look at me now.
- 6:53Speaker 4: I don't think so.
- 6:55Speaker 5: No, but I do say and I'm echoing the sentiments
- 6:59Speaker 5: of a lot of people in the comment section of
- 7:01Speaker 5: our last Instagram reil that went up where it was
- 7:04Speaker 5: like eleven years ago versus now and like pretty much
- 7:06Speaker 5: everyone glowed up.
- 7:08Speaker 3: I was going to say, I saw the picture pretty
- 7:10Speaker 3: flirty and thriving. Yeah, I think you all. I mean,
- 7:14Speaker 3: I think you were beautiful back then. I think it
- 7:16Speaker 3: was a great season, a great cast. I saw them, yeah,
- 7:20Speaker 3: like the side by sides, and I was like, all
- 7:21Speaker 3: these women look like so like better, which is crazy. Yeah,
- 7:27Speaker 3: I don't know why, but it's like going against.
- 7:32Speaker 4: Good skin treatments. I don't know.
- 7:33Speaker 3: Yeah, was it every? The final question for you? Was
- 7:36Speaker 3: it everything you wanted to be and more? I mean,
- 7:38Speaker 3: I know we had talked about this for a couple
- 7:40Speaker 3: of weeks leading up to it. This was an exciting day.
- 7:44Speaker 3: I was excited for you guys. I was pumped that
- 7:46Speaker 3: you're doing this.
- 7:47Speaker 4: I know, like you kind of like Wishy were there.
- 7:49Speaker 5: We should have like a third guy the third day,
- 7:51Speaker 5: for some of our favorite guys to show up.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I would just come and hung out. Plus I've
- 7:55Speaker 2: been to Kaylin' Soun's so cool sick.
- 7:56Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 7:57Speaker 3: Yeah, was it everything you wanted to be?
- 7:59Speaker 5: It is beyond everything we wanted it to be. We're
- 8:02Speaker 5: going to We're trying to make plans to do it
- 8:04Speaker 5: now once a year, like we're actually trying to like
- 8:07Speaker 5: form up a week for next year.
- 8:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:10Speaker 3: Now, this is like a guy's golf trip, right, Like
- 8:12Speaker 3: guys have this thing, or at least my buddies where
- 8:15Speaker 3: it's easy because you have to book golf trips in advance.
- 8:19Speaker 3: You have to commit to them, and we you know,
- 8:21Speaker 3: traditionally have done that year every year or year because
- 8:23Speaker 3: we have to hold this date out because the course
- 8:25Speaker 3: needs to know we're coming. I've heard this often times
- 8:29Speaker 3: with women. This has actually been a conversation that came
- 8:33Speaker 3: up with mom. Con It's come up in my own household.
- 8:36Speaker 3: It's just seems to be a thing for whatever reason.
- 8:40Speaker 3: I think a very interesting thing right now is women
- 8:42Speaker 3: are were having a hard time as they get out
- 8:44Speaker 3: of college and into their thirties and forties finding a
- 8:48Speaker 3: hobby they you know, like a hobby they call it
- 8:50Speaker 3: so like something to do with friends, something to do
- 8:53Speaker 3: to helps them gather. Guys have golf, right. I think
- 8:55Speaker 3: that's my thing, and so I'm a big proponent of
- 8:58Speaker 3: like these pick a weekend, have it every year, like
- 9:02Speaker 3: you don't block it's blocked off.
- 9:04Speaker 2: You have to get together.
- 9:06Speaker 5: Yeah, I know, it's definitely a little anxiety and being like, Okay, so.
- 9:11Speaker 4: This is the day.
- 9:11Speaker 5: So like, if I to get any opportunities this week,
- 9:14Speaker 5: I guess I know, guys, I know to it.
- 9:17Speaker 2: I mean it is.
- 9:18Speaker 4: Yeah, it is life.
- 9:20Speaker 5: I was going to say that actually during the trip,
- 9:22Speaker 5: I was like, I feel bad for guys, Like I
- 9:24Speaker 5: feel bad that Jared doesn't have a group like this
- 9:26Speaker 5: where I do feel like girl talk is so much
- 9:30Speaker 5: more intimate and soul filling than guy talk. It's like,
- 9:36Speaker 5: I know that you guys need that outlet, but I
- 9:38Speaker 5: don't know that you ever have it the way that
- 9:40Speaker 5: and you get it through golf trips and such, but
- 9:43Speaker 5: you don't like you talk about sports and stuff like that.
- 9:47Speaker 5: And like we talked about everything that we're feeling.
- 9:52Speaker 2: That's hilarious. Well healthy, Yeah, it's good.
- 9:54Speaker 4: It's so good.
- 9:56Speaker 2: There was a witch night. I heart is very interested
- 9:59Speaker 2: in what this witch it was.
- 10:01Speaker 5: Oh, it was like, just like we just said it,
- 10:03Speaker 5: wouldn't it be funny if we like all dressed up
- 10:06Speaker 5: as a witch, you know, being Halloween, and we just
- 10:10Speaker 5: all picked one that resonated with us.
- 10:13Speaker 2: So there was six of you total, six of you
- 10:16Speaker 2: total at this house.
- 10:17Speaker 3: Well, Ashley, I think this is such a fun thing.
- 10:22Speaker 3: I was so happy to watch it. I think Chris Soles,
- 10:26Speaker 3: it's interesting for me. I don't know Carly very well.
- 10:28Speaker 4: Yeah, I guess you and Carly never had any run ins.
- 10:30Speaker 4: And also just.
- 10:31Speaker 5: Shout out to Caitlin's assistant who was there helping with
- 10:35Speaker 5: everything and being our videographer.
- 10:37Speaker 4: She was absolutely fantastic.
- 10:40Speaker 2: Sure she loved it.
- 10:40Speaker 3: What better role is it to be than one on
- 10:42Speaker 3: the other side of the camera just enjoying the people
- 10:44Speaker 3: making pools of themselves on the other side. Yeah, but
- 10:48Speaker 3: all those women are so cool, like they are, They're
- 10:50Speaker 3: so great. I think that's something that we need to
- 10:52Speaker 3: say because oftentimes we come on here and we talk
- 10:54Speaker 3: about the villain, we talk about the thing that's dramatic,
- 10:56Speaker 3: we talk about the people that have maybe caused the
- 10:59Speaker 3: headline which you're going to just the second, and those
- 11:00Speaker 3: headlines typically aren't great. The women that were in that
- 11:05Speaker 3: house with you, and there was many others on your
- 11:07Speaker 3: season and I also think were great, But that was like,
- 11:10Speaker 3: this is a solid group of women that I always
- 11:14Speaker 3: enjoy being around, and I know my wife really loves
- 11:16Speaker 3: being around. They're some of the best. Yeah, in eleven
- 11:20Speaker 3: years twenty two seasons. How you know of the show
- 11:24Speaker 3: like still some of the best that people relate to
- 11:26Speaker 3: love and they deserve it because you guys are are awesome.
- 11:30Speaker 5: Oh well, thank you, Ben, You are shining star in
- 11:35Speaker 5: that in that group.
- 11:36Speaker 3: You don't have to come back to me with anything.
- 11:37Speaker 3: I was happy to see it, Ashley. I'm sure you're tired.
- 11:41Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm good. No, actually not tired, to be honest.
- 11:45Speaker 5: Slept better than I've slept in years.
- 11:47Speaker 3: Yeah, I was thinking, I uh yeah, that's actually probably funny.
- 11:52Speaker 2: You didn't have video in eruptions.
- 11:53Speaker 5: It was a child free house. I had the luxury
- 11:56Speaker 5: of waiting. I woke up at eight and then I
- 11:58Speaker 5: was like, you know what, I'm just gonna like sit
- 12:00Speaker 5: in bed, scroll on the phone, day dream a little bit.
- 12:04Speaker 4: And then you know what I did. I fell back
- 12:06Speaker 4: to sleep till ten thirty.
- 12:07Speaker 5: And that is something that has not happened in a
- 12:11Speaker 5: very long time.
- 12:12Speaker 2: This is so good.
- 12:13Speaker 3: Oh, this is so you're right, because you just yeah,
- 12:15Speaker 3: your boys love to get you up.
- 12:17Speaker 2: They just love life. They want to get you up,
- 12:19Speaker 2: get you going. Yeah.
- 12:20Speaker 5: I mean they wake up late, which is nice, but
- 12:23Speaker 5: like I don't get like once I'm out of bed. Yeah,
- 12:25Speaker 5: out of bed, Like once you hear them on the monitor,
- 12:30Speaker 5: your bedtime is over.
- 12:31Speaker 3: I was thinking about the season of Caitlyn season that
- 12:34Speaker 3: I was on and the guys that would get together
- 12:36Speaker 3: from that. Jared would obviously be like my number one call,
- 12:40Speaker 3: you know, the Tamers of the world, and so I
- 12:43Speaker 3: just don't have close relationships to a lot of those guys.
- 12:46Speaker 2: Jared, Jared is the one. I mean, Nick was on
- 12:51Speaker 2: that season.
- 12:52Speaker 3: I do talk to Nick, but Jared is the one
- 12:55Speaker 3: dude that I and I like a lot of them,
- 12:57Speaker 3: like I love them at the Golden Wedding having dinner
- 13:01Speaker 3: with Tanner. I mean, he's it's not not seeing these
- 13:03Speaker 3: guys aren't great.
- 13:04Speaker 2: We just don't talk Cupcake. I don't talk to Cupcake.
- 13:08Speaker 4: I love Cupcake so much.
- 13:09Speaker 2: He's a great dude.
- 13:10Speaker 4: He's actually a friend of mine.
- 13:11Speaker 5: That's very similar to those girls, where it's like I
- 13:14Speaker 5: could go a couple of years without seeing him and
- 13:16Speaker 5: it's like not weird at all when we see him,
- 13:18Speaker 5: and we.
- 13:19Speaker 4: Could just like blah blah bla blah blah blah blah blah.
- 13:22Speaker 2: Chris Strandberg to be proper. Yeah, I'm just laughing at
- 13:26Speaker 2: the fact that his name's Cupcake. Like, how a poor guy.
- 13:29Speaker 2: He's like thirty eight years old and he's still known
- 13:31Speaker 2: as Cupcake.
- 13:32Speaker 4: I know, like I can't believe that's stuck so.
- 13:34Speaker 3: Hard they did. But yeah, I mean there's great guys
- 13:38Speaker 3: on the season. I just don't necessarily have their friendship
- 13:41Speaker 3: with all of them close enough to be like, hey,
- 13:43Speaker 3: let's all get together again, all.
- 13:55Speaker 2: Right, should we dive in the headlines.
- 13:56Speaker 4: Let's do it.
- 13:57Speaker 2: Big headline coming out of.
- 13:58Speaker 3: Last week actually was The Bachelor's Melissa Ryecroft says she's
- 14:04Speaker 3: struggling after a rest.
- 14:07Speaker 5: I mean, yeah, yeah, not laughing at this, but yeah.
- 14:12Speaker 3: No, but like what a headline like this is the
- 14:14Speaker 3: best head that they could come up with, is she's
- 14:17Speaker 3: struggling after their arrest.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Yes, like that makes sense.
- 14:22Speaker 5: Our podcast producer Hither and I were on the podcast
- 14:25Speaker 5: together doing these headlines last week, and I was like, oh, man,
- 14:28Speaker 5: were we like No, I I guess we weren't like
- 14:31Speaker 5: too hard on Melissa and we're talking about the mugshot
- 14:35Speaker 5: and how rough she looked at it.
- 14:39Speaker 2: She did she did drink and drive, so you know,
- 14:43Speaker 2: it's a long night.
- 14:47Speaker 5: So what happened was people were talking about on Instagram.
- 14:51Speaker 5: She posted an inspirational message or she posted something on
- 14:55Speaker 5: Instagram and then people were commenting under eth it. Some
- 15:01Speaker 5: shared it inspirational quote, some are like I made the
- 15:04Speaker 5: mistake as well. Somebody said, no excuse, but it happened.
- 15:10Speaker 5: Don't forget that you are beautiful, loved, blessed, and Melissa.
- 15:14Speaker 4: Ro underneath it and she said, thank you.
- 15:16Speaker 5: Life really sucks right now and I am struggling, but
- 15:19Speaker 5: I'm trying to march forward. But thank you for the
- 15:22Speaker 5: sweet words in what seems to be a world of negativity.
- 15:27Speaker 5: And that's our update from her. Obviously, she's like not
- 15:30Speaker 5: going to post be like well, I don't know. Everybody
- 15:32Speaker 5: does their own thing, but.
- 15:34Speaker 2: She's not going to post to be like Chris.
- 15:36Speaker 4: Was my mug shot when I drink and drive.
- 15:39Speaker 3: Yeah, she's not gonna be like this is life is great.
- 15:41Speaker 3: Everything's clicking how I've always dreamed. It's be clicking like
- 15:43Speaker 3: this is a tough season. There's a lot to learn,
- 15:46Speaker 3: a lot to grow, a lot of like different feelings
- 15:50Speaker 3: that you know, I think in life, mistakes happen, and
- 15:57Speaker 3: like people said, it's a mistake that happens. But shame
- 16:00Speaker 3: and guilt do not do a human well. But I think,
- 16:03Speaker 3: you know, changing course, adjusting, making it a part of
- 16:07Speaker 3: your story, teaching others about, you know, how these things
- 16:12Speaker 3: can happen and how quickly it can happen. I think
- 16:14Speaker 3: that's where we hope she goes. But yeah, this is
- 16:17Speaker 3: a tough season of life for her. And the mug
- 16:19Speaker 3: shot was not great, but goodness great sious. It's not
- 16:21Speaker 3: like it was a glamour shoot. Like she's standing against
- 16:25Speaker 3: a brick wall in a jail. It's not gonna look awesome.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:28Speaker 3: Actually, a few weeks ago we talked about this new
- 16:31Speaker 3: thing happening on social media and I'm actually very concerned
- 16:35Speaker 3: about it.
- 16:37Speaker 2: I think.
- 16:39Speaker 3: The path forward will only get worse with AI with
- 16:43Speaker 3: the ability to create and make things look so lifelike.
- 16:49Speaker 3: And it's scary for anybody, the public eye or not.
- 16:53Speaker 3: It's scary. And we talked about this well. Trista Sutter
- 16:58Speaker 3: was also a victim of this fake news that's going around.
- 17:02Speaker 2: Remember we talked.
- 17:03Speaker 3: About a few right, Yeah, well, she also is a
- 17:06Speaker 3: victim of the fake news. This fake news claims she
- 17:09Speaker 3: was going to be a grandmother. She has two kids
- 17:13Speaker 3: with Ryan, both young, both still in high school.
- 17:18Speaker 4: I mean ones, I guess starting college now.
- 17:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:21Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't love I mean I have said I'm
- 17:25Speaker 3: very concerned about where this goes going forward for anybody.
- 17:28Speaker 3: But I don't love that the fake news that's been
- 17:32Speaker 3: a coin term over the last you know, ten years.
- 17:35Speaker 3: I don't love that there's like actual fake news that's
- 17:37Speaker 3: fake news, like created fake news just to spark a
- 17:41Speaker 3: debate that could really hurt people.
- 17:44Speaker 5: So I was a little confused by this. I saw
- 17:47Speaker 5: when Trista posted her video there was speculation that her
- 17:51Speaker 5: eighteen year old son Max was going to be a dad,
- 17:54Speaker 5: And I don't really know. I don't really understand how
- 17:59Speaker 5: they they manipulated the pictures or the people put headlines
- 18:04Speaker 5: or the pictures to say that the pictures of them
- 18:07Speaker 5: like him and his ex girlfriend, have been used for clickbait.
- 18:11Speaker 5: She said, have you heard the news because I did
- 18:14Speaker 5: last night. My first reaction was laughter. My second reaction
- 18:17Speaker 5: was anger. Biggest reason for that it is all a lie.
- 18:22Speaker 5: The one thing, it's one thing. If it's about me,
- 18:26Speaker 5: I could just ignore it, but it comes with the territory.
- 18:28Speaker 5: It's not I think it's about my children. She said,
- 18:32Speaker 5: I'm very much looking forward to becoming a grandma. Of
- 18:34Speaker 5: course I would support my children, but hoping that's a
- 18:36Speaker 5: little bit further down the road. But the bottom line
- 18:39Speaker 5: is basically one of these like fake news outlets, like
- 18:42Speaker 5: the clickbaity sites, not like an US weekly, not like
- 18:45Speaker 5: a People magazine, but like there's other weird things out there.
- 18:49Speaker 2: Took photos of.
- 18:50Speaker 5: Her son Max and his ex girlfriend and alluded to
- 18:54Speaker 5: the fact that they were having a child.
- 18:57Speaker 4: And that's what it is. That's crazy.
- 19:01Speaker 3: It's just fake. It's it's made up stuff. It's gonna
- 19:03Speaker 3: happen more and more. I don't like it. It's not Trista
- 19:07Speaker 3: is one of many who have been kind of focused
- 19:10Speaker 3: on from this. I think we're going to see a
- 19:12Speaker 3: lot of people pop up. Here's here's what I would
- 19:16Speaker 3: say to anybody that happens to in the public eye.
- 19:18Speaker 3: Are not because I think this is going to happen
- 19:21Speaker 3: to everyone at some point. Is clear things up with
- 19:25Speaker 3: the people that are close to you. But then don't
- 19:26Speaker 3: bring attention to it because nobody's actually reading this stuff.
- 19:29Speaker 3: I mean, if maybe a bigger like like a People
- 19:34Speaker 3: or something, would pick it up, they would have to
- 19:36Speaker 3: call you first. And if they did share this information,
- 19:40Speaker 3: you're gonna get really rich on them sharing this information
- 19:43Speaker 3: because it's fake. And so I just I think it's
- 19:47Speaker 3: it's worth ignoring because the more clicks, the more money,
- 19:51Speaker 3: and the money is what's driving the ability for this
- 19:54Speaker 3: to continue to happen, because it's just it's it's it's
- 19:59Speaker 3: like a it's a machine that won't stop. It's a
- 20:01Speaker 3: snowball effect. And the more and more people click, the
- 20:05Speaker 3: bigger these get, the more often they come out, and
- 20:07Speaker 3: it's going to be the craziest things. And we'll probably
- 20:10Speaker 3: be spending the next many years on the show during
- 20:14Speaker 3: headlines saying that was fake. That isn't real. This was
- 20:18Speaker 3: a headline. If you saw it, it's not a real thing.
- 20:20Speaker 3: And that's just I don't know, it's bogus. I'd much
- 20:22Speaker 3: rather talk about cooler stories like Joe and Serena. Joe
- 20:26Speaker 3: teases Serena that they should probably think about having a
- 20:30Speaker 3: kid soon. But here's the other crazy part about Joe
- 20:34Speaker 3: and Serena. I've been following Joe. I love Joe, He's
- 20:38Speaker 3: loved Joe, great guy. Serena is awesome, both incredible. I
- 20:42Speaker 3: know Joe Better. He was at the Ryder Cup and
- 20:45Speaker 3: then he goes from the Ryder Cup to like Soul,
- 20:48Speaker 3: South Korea, and then they go from Soul, South Korea.
- 20:51Speaker 3: I see that they're back, and then yesterday posted they're
- 20:54Speaker 3: at the airport on their way to Tokyo, Like, yeah, why.
- 20:57Speaker 4: Would you do that?
- 20:58Speaker 2: I have no idea, but what why would you come back?
- 21:01Speaker 2: Here's my judgment towards them.
- 21:03Speaker 3: If you want to have a kid, stop traveling across
- 21:06Speaker 3: the world back and forth all the time.
- 21:08Speaker 5: I think what they're doing right now is doing their
- 21:12Speaker 5: last hurrah before they hurrah.
- 21:16Speaker 2: I mean this is like, this is like shock. I mean,
- 21:18Speaker 2: we've seen people.
- 21:19Speaker 5: This is a well planned hurrah. Though, this is definitely
- 21:22Speaker 5: what they're intentionally doing.
- 21:23Speaker 2: I don't think it's a well planned hurrah. They were
- 21:25Speaker 2: in South Korea and they you know what they're doing.
- 21:31Speaker 5: They're flying first class because nobody flying coach would ever
- 21:34Speaker 5: do that.
- 21:35Speaker 3: Well, yes, I would imagine that the two of them
- 21:37Speaker 3: are flying first class. They do have another bachelor podcast
- 21:41Speaker 3: that they host. I'm sure they're just cranking in the dough.
- 21:43Speaker 3: They're flying first class, they're drinking champagne, their feet are
- 21:46Speaker 3: kicked up, It's easy, it's breezy still.
- 21:49Speaker 4: Why, oh my gosh, So this is funny.
- 21:52Speaker 5: So Joe said as he was getting this eighteen step
- 21:56Speaker 5: Scout massage treatment in Sewol. He said that I have
- 22:01Speaker 5: realized that I have way too much time in my
- 22:03Speaker 5: hands and I should probably think about having a kid soon.
- 22:07Speaker 5: I would say, is this the him teasing that they
- 22:10Speaker 5: are having a kid soon? But I also don't think
- 22:12Speaker 5: that Serena's going to be going in her first trybuster
- 22:14Speaker 5: to South Korea or Tokyo all in one month. And
- 22:20Speaker 5: then the caption was great. I did love the caption.
- 22:22Speaker 5: I did not respond, but I was like, this is
- 22:25Speaker 5: the kind of moment in which you do realize that
- 22:28Speaker 5: you should have a kid. I'm like, I am that barn. Now,
- 22:33Speaker 5: that's just like, don't you think that you should have
- 22:35Speaker 5: a kid? I have turned into my mom. It's a
- 22:38Speaker 5: wonderful life. Come over here and join it. And yeah,
- 22:43Speaker 5: when you do find yourself doing like lots of SPA
- 22:45Speaker 5: treatments and just like having the just relaxing all the time,
- 22:51Speaker 5: you should shake.
- 22:52Speaker 4: It up a bit.
- 22:53Speaker 5: Kidding, I'm a little jealous. This is coming from a
- 22:56Speaker 5: little bit of a place of jealousy for sure. And
- 22:59Speaker 5: then my husband to row underneath the comment in the
- 23:02Speaker 5: comments he said, just join the club already. I promise
- 23:04Speaker 5: it's not that stressful, in which he's definitely joking, but
- 23:07Speaker 5: I actually say, in hindsight, having one is really not
- 23:11Speaker 5: that stressful. It doesn't shake up your life. As in
- 23:16Speaker 5: our perspective, having one was a lot different as far
- 23:21Speaker 5: as was like life flexibility and being able to do
- 23:25Speaker 5: things like eighteen step scalp treatments, which I have done
- 23:29Speaker 5: a scalp treatment over the past few months. It was
- 23:32Speaker 5: a nice, luxurious treat that I gave myself as a mom.
- 23:36Speaker 5: I'm just rambling here, but I but I also think
- 23:39Speaker 5: that you know, when you have the one, you can
- 23:41Speaker 5: still do things like that. And then Natalie Nick's wife said,
- 23:46Speaker 5: I've literally been telling you this.
- 23:50Speaker 4: Ben comments Jes went.
- 23:53Speaker 2: I like how you go of just rambling and then
- 23:55Speaker 2: you keep going.
- 23:55Speaker 4: That's that's a classic man.
- 23:59Speaker 2: Oh Ash, I love doing this with you.
- 24:02Speaker 4: Do you really?
- 24:03Speaker 5: I think you probably just like get off and be
- 24:04Speaker 5: like wow, that woman doesn't shut up sometimes.
- 24:06Speaker 3: Never said that, never said it, never thought it, never
- 24:10Speaker 3: it would feel it.
- 24:11Speaker 2: I just love it.
- 24:12Speaker 3: I just I find it humorous sometimes and you're like,
- 24:14Speaker 3: I'm just rambling and then you're like that, let me
- 24:15Speaker 3: keep going.
- 24:18Speaker 2: The uh.
- 24:20Speaker 3: Jess went to a baby shower last night and it
- 24:22Speaker 3: was her first night away from Wanona since Wanana's well
- 24:27Speaker 3: since she's been pregnant with Wanona.
- 24:28Speaker 4: Whoa well, first night away, that's anxiety and do.
- 24:31Speaker 2: Yeah. She was struggling with it and we talked about it.
- 24:34Speaker 3: I was like, here's the deal, one night away, Like
- 24:37Speaker 3: we know you rip the bandit off, but here's the
- 24:39Speaker 3: other side that we kind of came to the conclusion of.
- 24:41Speaker 3: One of the roles I think for you now at
- 24:43Speaker 3: a baby shower, because there you remember the feelings for
- 24:47Speaker 3: your first is to tell people how great it is.
- 24:51Speaker 3: It's not like easy, but it's great. It's so much better,
- 24:55Speaker 3: And to like relieve the stress of oh my gosh,
- 24:58Speaker 3: this is such a daunting idea. Yes it is, and
- 25:01Speaker 3: it should be. You're bringing life into the world and
- 25:03Speaker 3: you're now responsible for keeping this life alive. However, it's
- 25:07Speaker 3: so much more amazing than you can ever imagine. Here's side.
- 25:11Speaker 3: Here's my second point to this. It's funny, Ashley. I
- 25:14Speaker 3: don't know if you feel this way, but you know
- 25:18Speaker 3: Jessica travels with Wenona more than I do. You know,
- 25:21Speaker 3: she kind of brings her anywhere she can.
- 25:24Speaker 5: Yeah, I've done it alone too, And Jared hasn't done
- 25:26Speaker 5: it alone. Not that he's fully capable and you would
- 25:28Speaker 5: do a great job, but he's been on a plane
- 25:30Speaker 5: alone with him.
- 25:31Speaker 3: But when you're alone at your house now, it's so
- 25:34Speaker 3: boring and it's great for like a day, two days,
- 25:37Speaker 3: day three, You're like, I don't know what to do,
- 25:40Speaker 3: Like what did I do with myself when there wasn't
- 25:43Speaker 3: a wife and a kid?
- 25:44Speaker 4: We as that all the time. I guess I watched
- 25:46Speaker 4: a lot of TV.
- 25:47Speaker 2: I have no idea. It's so boring.
- 25:49Speaker 3: So it's like so much different, and so now I'm like,
- 25:52Speaker 3: I don't even remember how I functioned as an adult
- 25:56Speaker 3: without these types of gifts and responsibility.
- 26:01Speaker 2: I would never go back.
- 26:02Speaker 5: That's so Ben exactly. And I have so many friends
- 26:05Speaker 5: that are in there. Okay, when I say so many,
- 26:07Speaker 5: I have three in my head that I can think
- 26:09Speaker 5: of that are really going back for that really are
- 26:14Speaker 5: just like I'm not sure.
- 26:15Speaker 4: I don't know. I don't know, Like I love my
- 26:17Speaker 4: life right now? Do I want to mess it up.
- 26:19Speaker 5: And my first of all, you're not messing you would
- 26:21Speaker 5: not mess it up, And yes you should. I'm always like,
- 26:24Speaker 5: if you're in debate of it, I feel like.
- 26:26Speaker 3: You should hundred percent. So great, so wonderful. I had
- 26:32Speaker 3: Winnie last night, belly laughing, just her and I, you know,
- 26:36Speaker 3: Jess wasn't there, and it was just Wennie wayala night
- 26:38Speaker 3: and she was belly laughing, and I was like, I
- 26:42Speaker 3: put her to bed and I laid back in our
- 26:44Speaker 3: bed and I was like, oh my gosh, Like what
- 26:48Speaker 3: a life, like, what a dream?
- 26:50Speaker 2: This is so cool?
- 26:51Speaker 3: Hey, Gabby l Nicky gets engaged a long time boyfriend,
- 26:56Speaker 3: Zach now Ashley. If I remember right when Gabby came
- 26:58Speaker 3: on our show, she kind of hinted or talked about
- 27:01Speaker 3: this relationship fairly open lee, but they hadn't necessarily been
- 27:05Speaker 3: public yet and there wasn't a lot of information out
- 27:07Speaker 3: there on them. But she thought at the time it
- 27:09Speaker 3: was the real deal. She was very excited about this relationship.
- 27:12Speaker 3: Well now we see it come full circle with the engagement.
- 27:16Speaker 5: She definitely made it seem like this would be in
- 27:19Speaker 5: their future. We're very happy for them.
- 27:21Speaker 4: She posted.
- 27:22Speaker 5: The engagement photos are so cute, So the luckiest girl
- 27:26Speaker 5: in the world.
- 27:27Speaker 4: They're very cute.
- 27:31Speaker 5: So good congratulations to that too beautiful, like right there
- 27:35Speaker 5: on the ocean with the waves, it's so gorgeous.
- 27:40Speaker 4: She said that it was perfect.
- 27:44Speaker 5: It was totally unexpected and so full of love. And
- 27:48Speaker 5: she said that her sister Chloe helped him. His name
- 27:52Speaker 5: is Zach ironically, which is absolutely hilarious because she was
- 27:55Speaker 5: second place on Zach season had organized family photos for
- 27:59Speaker 5: the group and led her to think that, like, the
- 28:02Speaker 5: entire thing was nothing unusual because I did it in
- 28:06Speaker 5: like you know, they're saying, oh, we're doing family photos
- 28:09Speaker 5: by the ocean, and then he did it in a
- 28:10Speaker 5: turn into an engagement shute, So.
- 28:12Speaker 3: Great congratulations to the two of them. Big news that
- 28:26Speaker 3: we've been following the Bachelor alum Katie Thurston is feeling
- 28:30Speaker 3: this word is great, optimistic amid her stage for cancer battle. Ashley,
- 28:39Speaker 3: I know you have an update via social media about
- 28:42Speaker 3: where Katie's at and all this. I think listeners will
- 28:44Speaker 3: want to know we've been falling along rooting for her.
- 28:48Speaker 5: I wish I did, but she actually put on her
- 28:52Speaker 5: booby broadcast yesterday that she'll be getting the results today
- 28:58Speaker 5: Monday afternoon, she said, I've shared experiences and advice and
- 29:04Speaker 5: words of encouraged. The shared experiences of advice and wards
- 29:07Speaker 5: of encouragement have meant so much to me. I'm manifesting
- 29:10Speaker 5: there'll be no evidence of active disease in celebrating with
- 29:15Speaker 5: you all soon. So we are waiting with baited breath
- 29:17Speaker 5: to get those results today.
- 29:21Speaker 4: It's the six month scan. She says, she feels optimistic.
- 29:23Speaker 5: About it, and again in this article she's just talking
- 29:28Speaker 5: about how grateful she's been to have her husband along
- 29:32Speaker 5: her side for this entire thing. She can't face cancer alone.
- 29:36Speaker 5: You really have to rely on your friends and family
- 29:38Speaker 5: and to have somebody who's your partner and who's right
- 29:40Speaker 5: there every step of the way, and all this has
- 29:42Speaker 5: meant so much to me.
- 29:44Speaker 3: It's something that will continue to follow rooting for Katie here.
- 29:47Speaker 3: Jojo Fletcher and Jordan Rogers share bucket list moment with
- 29:51Speaker 3: Becca Tilley ahead of baby's arrival.
- 29:55Speaker 5: So yes, I talked a little bit about about JoJo's
- 29:58Speaker 5: pregnancy with Back this week, and she was like, Jojo
- 30:03Speaker 5: has been so like unaffected by this pregnancy.
- 30:06Speaker 4: She's like one of the rare people that are fully
- 30:08Speaker 4: enjoying it.
- 30:08Speaker 5: She's had like no sickness, no real symptoms bringing her down.
- 30:14Speaker 5: Good for you, Jojo, jealous and honestly very happy for you.
- 30:18Speaker 5: But she said that right now they're trying to check
- 30:20Speaker 5: off bucket list moments. And so the three of them.
- 30:25Speaker 4: Was Jordan with them. You didn't realize that Jordan was
- 30:28Speaker 4: with them, Okay, okay.
- 30:29Speaker 5: So they went to the desert and they went to
- 30:32Speaker 5: Rise Festival and that's where you kind of like lift
- 30:35Speaker 5: up your floating lantern into the sky. That's like it's
- 30:37Speaker 5: a whole bunch of music and other things. Now, but
- 30:40Speaker 5: this was why Jojo and Beca wanted to go. And
- 30:43Speaker 5: you kind of like put your wish into the world, as.
- 30:46Speaker 4: My friends and I say. And she said that.
- 30:50Speaker 5: It was a bucket list moment to be there, and
- 30:52Speaker 5: she had her new liquor company there, her new saltzers,
- 30:57Speaker 5: and she said that, you know, being with Becca and
- 31:00Speaker 5: experiencing this it's the rainbow baby surrounded by so much light, is.
- 31:04Speaker 4: Something that she'll never forget, you know, this is a forever.
- 31:07Speaker 5: Memory for her. And she said that she's very emotional
- 31:10Speaker 5: and happy that think I'll got to experience it together.
- 31:12Speaker 3: It's really great. And her Seltzers are really good, by
- 31:15Speaker 3: the way. Yeah, they're apparall sprits Seltzers. I don't know
- 31:19Speaker 3: the name, but they're great. We've enjoyed them here after Italy, especially.
- 31:25Speaker 3: They keep our desire going back, all.
- 31:30Speaker 2: Right, Ashley.
- 31:31Speaker 3: Final headline of today is headline of Somebody You're Just With.
- 31:35Speaker 3: Becattilli reveals plans to propose to fiance Haley Kyoko.
- 31:41Speaker 5: Well, you know, we didn't really get any tea on
- 31:44Speaker 5: when Becca's going to do this.
- 31:47Speaker 4: I know what. I didn't really pull and pry about
- 31:50Speaker 4: when she's going to do it.
- 31:51Speaker 5: I just said, you are going to do it, right,
- 31:54Speaker 5: and she said, yes, this is And then and Kaylee
- 31:58Speaker 5: knows this. It's not like it's surprise or anything. And
- 32:03Speaker 5: in this video that was up on Instagram this week,
- 32:06Speaker 5: she's just like, I honestly love being engaged with you,
- 32:09Speaker 5: which is kind of cute. And I love waking up
- 32:12Speaker 5: and seeing the ring on your finger and your smile.
- 32:14Speaker 5: It's so fun. This is Haley to Becca. And then
- 32:18Speaker 5: Becca said that she's planning on proposing to Haley as well,
- 32:22Speaker 5: and she said, it's so fun. I'm really excited about
- 32:25Speaker 5: the proposal. She said that she is going to have
- 32:30Speaker 5: to be very sneaky to pull off a surprise because
- 32:35Speaker 5: she feels like she just got it so good from Hailey.
- 32:38Speaker 5: It was such a surprise to her. She needs to
- 32:40Speaker 5: figure that out. But they keep talking about glowing and
- 32:43Speaker 5: glowing because it was maybe a sponsored video that they
- 32:47Speaker 5: posted about this, but also at the same time, they
- 32:51Speaker 5: really truly are glowing.
- 32:52Speaker 2: They are.
- 32:53Speaker 5: I was like, you guys are constantly like in why
- 32:57Speaker 5: do I feel like you are just seven years in
- 33:00Speaker 5: and basically in the honeymoon stage still like they are
- 33:04Speaker 5: so lovey dovey with each other, and she said that
- 33:06Speaker 5: is true. She goes, it doesn't mean that like we
- 33:08Speaker 5: don't fight, but like we do, we are very romantic.
- 33:11Speaker 4: With each other.
- 33:12Speaker 3: It's it's really special. Yeah, And obviously we love Becca
- 33:18Speaker 3: so much. She is one of, as I said, the
- 33:21Speaker 3: coolest and greatest people to come from the franchise definitely.
- 33:26Speaker 2: Always has been.
- 33:28Speaker 3: Well, that's all the headlines we have for you today.
- 33:29Speaker 3: The only other headline I wanted to bring up was
- 33:31Speaker 3: that Jared Hayman is a part of the DC universe,
