- 0:00Speaker 1: Are are young people getting more delusional or what?
- 0:02Speaker 2: It's one more thing. You know, this this whole gonzo
- 0:11Speaker 2: journalism thing is really taken off, or at least it's
- 0:13Speaker 2: taken off for the right. I don't know if it's
- 0:16Speaker 2: popular on the left or not. Probably doesn't need to be,
- 0:19Speaker 2: because mainstream media is constantly questioning people on the right
- 0:24Speaker 2: about issues and trying to embarrass them. They aren't doing
- 0:27Speaker 2: that with some of the people on the left. And
- 0:31Speaker 2: you hit him with these various questions about some of
- 0:32Speaker 2: the stuff they believe about, you know, no homeownership, or
- 0:38Speaker 2: rich people should give up all their money, or people
- 0:41Speaker 2: shouldn't be in prison for crimes, and.
- 0:45Speaker 1: What is socialism. Well, it's like getting together with people
- 0:48Speaker 1: and playing board games.
- 0:52Speaker 2: This particular guy, this gonzo journalist, he's the same guy
- 0:55Speaker 2: that exposed a whole bunch of that welfare fraud in
- 0:57Speaker 2: California that we play.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Nick, Yeah, that's pretty good man.
- 1:01Speaker 2: He's asking one of these young people who don't believe
- 1:04Speaker 2: people should be locked up for crimes, asking one of
- 1:07Speaker 2: those people on a park bench in a park. It
- 1:09Speaker 2: looks like a very nice setting. Let's hear the conversation.
- 1:15Speaker 3: Let's just say somebody who has the woman, would you
- 1:20Speaker 3: like them to be out in the street.
- 1:21Speaker 4: I think my answer is yes, even though that's a
- 1:23Speaker 4: challenging answer to.
- 1:24Speaker 3: Say, so you would you like your rapist to be
- 1:27Speaker 3: out in the street?
- 1:28Speaker 5: Well, like, let me finish, because I have been raped
- 1:31Speaker 5: and they are out in the street, and I'm not
- 1:34Speaker 5: sure like them going to jail is a solution to
- 1:38Speaker 5: like whatever's going on inside their heart or even my
- 1:41Speaker 5: own heart that like contributed to that.
- 1:43Speaker 4: Experience that I'm having. And I don't want more people
- 1:46Speaker 4: to get raped, But I don't know for certain that
- 1:50Speaker 4: going into a jail in the United States is going
- 1:54Speaker 4: to shift anything inside of their operating system so that
- 1:58Speaker 4: they'll make a different choice.
- 1:59Speaker 5: Again.
- 2:01Speaker 3: Wow, thank you guys so much for your time. And
- 2:03Speaker 3: is there a one last message you'd like to give
- 2:05Speaker 3: the people about potential the rise of communism or freeing
- 2:08Speaker 3: the people inside the prisons.
- 2:11Speaker 4: Just like free yourself from the own prison in your heart.
- 2:14Speaker 1: I had some good advice there, Okay, sweetheart.
- 2:22Speaker 2: Oh my god, I need a T shirt that says
- 2:25Speaker 2: that I'll wear it every day. Free yourself from your
- 2:28Speaker 2: own prison in your heart.
- 2:31Speaker 1: I would love like a great philosopher to now speak
- 2:34Speaker 1: to us on the difference between being verbal, being intelligent,
- 2:43Speaker 1: and being wise. Because she was fairly well spoken her
- 2:48Speaker 1: I understood precisely the ideas she was trying to convey
- 2:53Speaker 1: m H. But her ideas were effing loopy and utterly
- 2:59Speaker 1: disconnected from human experience and history and human nature.
- 3:04Speaker 2: I'd like to know about her rape, as you know,
- 3:08Speaker 2: for a certain crowd, asking you out on a date
- 3:13Speaker 2: at work is considered rape or certainly sexual assault.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Or consensual sex that you feel bad about the next day.
- 3:21Speaker 1: I mean, for all I know she's forcibly assaulted.
- 3:23Speaker 2: I don't know, but she also threw in that, and
- 3:25Speaker 2: I need to look at my role in it, your
- 3:28Speaker 2: role in it. I remember when feminists fought hard against
- 3:31Speaker 2: anybody ever saying anything within one hundred miles of that
- 3:35Speaker 2: you couldn't have a role in it, like twenty years ago.
- 3:38Speaker 2: But now it's all about your role in it.
- 3:42Speaker 1: And her whole. I don't think that would rearrange what's
- 3:45Speaker 1: in their heart. Excuse me, since when is that the standard?
- 3:50Speaker 3: Right?
- 3:50Speaker 2: And then I've really enjoyed her tossing in the sending
- 3:54Speaker 2: that the prisons we have here in the USA, like
- 3:57Speaker 2: our prison system is well known around the world, is
- 4:00Speaker 2: particularly awful by world standards.
- 4:03Speaker 1: What Yeah, Wow, kids taught what they're learned. I'm sorry,
- 4:08Speaker 1: they learn what they're taught. I was reading and talking
- 4:11Speaker 1: at the same time.
- 4:11Speaker 5: Idiot.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Uh, kids learn what they're taught. She's just regurgitating what
- 4:17Speaker 1: her professors have been telling her for years.
- 4:20Speaker 5: Wow.
- 4:22Speaker 2: And then what was that last line she said? I again,
- 4:24Speaker 2: I need to get that on a T shirt.
- 4:26Speaker 1: I hate yourself from the prison in your heart, right.
- 4:29Speaker 2: That's what I need to do today. That's my goal today.
- 4:31Speaker 2: I have a goal today, free myself from the prison
- 4:33Speaker 2: in my heart.
- 4:36Speaker 1: And go where I'm used to it. I'm like one
- 4:40Speaker 1: of those guys who's been in prison for so long.
- 4:42Speaker 1: I'm not sure I could survive on the outside. I've
- 4:44Speaker 1: been in the prison of my heart so long, and
- 4:47Speaker 1: you know, I got it pretty good. Other guys bring
- 4:49Speaker 1: me smokes in return for you know, my guy's not
- 4:51Speaker 1: beating them up. And I'm on the prison softball team.
- 4:55Speaker 2: As you know. I worked out every day in the
- 4:56Speaker 2: prison of my heart and got jacked.
- 4:57Speaker 1: So oh yeah, I like that part of it.
- 4:59Speaker 2: Lots of book.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm used to it.
- 5:02Speaker 2: I also make a toilet wine in the prism of
- 5:05Speaker 2: my heart. So hmmm, Bruno, Bruno exactly.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Oh ah, there's not to be well. Human beings are
- 5:17Speaker 1: certainly the only species that's capable of being unwilling to
- 5:22Speaker 1: engage in self protection. I can't believe there's a single
- 5:26Speaker 1: deer out there seeing a pack of wolves running at
- 5:29Speaker 1: it that would say it's not the wolve's fault, it's
- 5:32Speaker 1: not their fault. We need to rearrange their hearts as
- 5:35Speaker 1: the wolves are ripping flesh from its haunches right right.
- 5:40Speaker 2: And I need to look at my role in the
- 5:41Speaker 2: wolves turring me apart an eating me.
- 5:44Speaker 1: Right. Wow.
- 5:47Speaker 2: I know it's crazy, dude, it's crazy.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Wow. Okay. One other thing similar, h a similar topic.
- 5:56Speaker 1: I just happen to see this. Are you? Did you
- 5:58Speaker 1: see the story? The New York Post was on it,
- 6:00Speaker 1: of course, because it's New York and its gossipy of
- 6:03Speaker 1: that super high dollar attorney mashing with a much younger
- 6:08Speaker 1: woman who works at the law firm in a park.
- 6:13Speaker 2: I saw that, but I didn't know what it was.
- 6:15Speaker 1: They were on a park bench swap and spit. Okay,
- 6:17Speaker 1: and there's this online influencer dude, who I mean he's
- 6:23Speaker 1: doing this stuff for himself. He's famous, he's got many
- 6:27Speaker 1: many followers. He takes videos and like talks to people
- 6:29Speaker 1: or whatever. In this case, he's videoing them with his
- 6:33Speaker 1: phone and he says, hey, hey, get a room or something.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Their kids around here, and they're like Then they realize
- 6:40Speaker 1: he's recording, and it's very very much like the Cold
- 6:43Speaker 1: Blay concert hug moment. They're like oh, and he's like, well, well,
- 6:47Speaker 1: I'm not doing anything wronger kids around here, and you
- 6:49Speaker 1: dollar making out like that, that's not right. And he
- 6:52Speaker 1: keeps recording them and you see their faces clearly, and
- 6:55Speaker 1: then they both say, hey, you got to stop recording.
- 6:56Speaker 1: I'm not recording. I'm not the one doing something wrong.
- 6:59Speaker 1: You get good shots of each of them, and and
- 7:02Speaker 1: the guy like tries to take the phone and the
- 7:05Speaker 1: young man says, don't touch me or I will touch you,
- 7:08Speaker 1: and and the girls like oh. And so they got
- 7:10Speaker 1: super great to pictures of the people. He posts it
- 7:13Speaker 1: online because that's what he does. And the dude, the
- 7:17Speaker 1: high dollar lawyer, had just gotten an offer from a
- 7:20Speaker 1: Crosstown firm for like the money he's dreamed of his
- 7:22Speaker 1: whole life. And they werescind to the offer. Really yeah,
- 7:26Speaker 1: because he was mashing with an associate from the a
- 7:30Speaker 1: much younger co employee. It's not a good look.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Yeah I don't, but that's not dynamics is a crime thing.
- 7:37Speaker 1: But no, me neither. He's married, for what it's worth,
- 7:41Speaker 1: although that's between him and his wife. How do we
- 7:45Speaker 1: feel about the online provocateur who tapes people in public,
- 7:53Speaker 1: posts it and maybe causes terrible repercussions in their lives.
- 7:59Speaker 1: It's not an opening show question to me.
- 8:01Speaker 2: I don't like somebody video on me sitting in a park.
- 8:04Speaker 2: I mean, you're making out in a park, but I
- 8:05Speaker 2: don't like somebody videoing and then like for profit, I
- 8:09Speaker 2: don't dig that.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Am I picking my nose? Maybe? Or I fall asleep
- 8:13Speaker 1: and I look funny?
- 8:15Speaker 4: Right?
- 8:15Speaker 2: I was wondering about that too, Like I I men
- 8:18Speaker 2: do this? Women, if you're not aware of this, if
- 8:20Speaker 2: everyone's why we have to adjust artesticles, they yes, they're not.
- 8:24Speaker 2: They're not sitting right in our pan A couple of
- 8:25Speaker 2: times a day usually work around see if anybody's looking
- 8:28Speaker 2: at you, get you adjust them so that's better. You
- 8:31Speaker 2: get a video of that and put it to funny
- 8:33Speaker 2: music and post it is that cool.
- 8:36Speaker 1: With like the rewind forward forward back, four back four back. Yeah,
- 8:39Speaker 1: come on, Dren, you know whatever? Right?
- 8:45Speaker 2: Yeah, you could go forward back, forward back in slow
- 8:47Speaker 2: motion and make it look like I'm pleasuring myself when
- 8:49Speaker 2: I was a half second adjustment.
- 8:51Speaker 1: They're in the park, sick. There's no expectation of privacy
- 8:57Speaker 1: in the park.
- 8:58Speaker 5: No.
- 8:59Speaker 2: I know I legally speaking, but how about morally social
- 9:03Speaker 2: compact speaking?
- 9:04Speaker 1: Oh, I hate it on that level. Hate it, no qualification.
- 9:12Speaker 1: I'm just thinking about what you could do about it,
- 9:16Speaker 1: not where it falls in the law.
- 9:17Speaker 2: I don't think there is anything to do about it.
- 9:20Speaker 2: I think it's gonna become a lot more common as
- 9:22Speaker 2: everything is on camera all the time. I see videos
- 9:26Speaker 2: in my tesla because when I get in my tesla,
- 9:28Speaker 2: it says you have four events because it recorded four
- 9:31Speaker 2: people getting within. I don't know how close you have
- 9:33Speaker 2: to get fifteen feet in my car or whatever like that.
- 9:35Speaker 2: And I usually look at them just for fun. They're
- 9:38Speaker 2: kind of fun. But I see people doing embarrassing stuff,
- 9:40Speaker 2: sometimes sometimes yelling at a kid, sometimes adjusting their testicles,
- 9:44Speaker 2: sometimes sometimes adjusting their friends testicles. There's all kinds of
- 9:48Speaker 2: different things that I see in these camera things. But
- 9:50Speaker 2: like so when every car has cameras like teslas, so
- 9:53Speaker 2: we're just all on video all the time, and if
- 9:55Speaker 2: somebody can find us doing anything funny or weird, it's
- 9:59Speaker 2: fair game because there's no right to privacy in public.
- 10:02Speaker 1: I've got to admit, if the stakes were as high
- 10:07Speaker 1: as they were in the case of that dude, I'd
- 10:11Speaker 1: be thinking, can I take this guy? Can I grab
- 10:15Speaker 1: his phone? Either delete the video or smash it to bits,
- 10:21Speaker 1: or just take it and disappear with it. I realized
- 10:25Speaker 1: at that point I am guilty of a couple of
- 10:27Speaker 1: different crimes.
- 10:28Speaker 2: You'd rather deal with the how is he going to.
- 10:30Speaker 1: Find me, identify me, etc. I have his record of
- 10:34Speaker 1: who I am.
- 10:36Speaker 2: This is an interesting one because I feel like I
- 10:40Speaker 2: could be wrong. But I feel like if you put
- 10:42Speaker 2: this up to I don't know how many if women
- 10:46Speaker 2: would feel the same way. I think if you showed
- 10:48Speaker 2: this to one thousand guys, nine hundred and fifty of
- 10:51Speaker 2: them saying that guy at the camera, I'd like to
- 10:53Speaker 2: punch him in the face of him. I feel like
- 10:56Speaker 2: that's the way most people would react.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Well, what if you were guy and this is I'm
- 11:02Speaker 1: really enjoying this thought experiment. You're a guy who picture
- 11:07Speaker 1: like San Francisco or Seattle, where sometimes you have sidewalks
- 11:11Speaker 1: that are different levels, not far from each other. This
- 11:14Speaker 1: guy does nothing but take video of women's cleavage from
- 11:17Speaker 1: above and feature.
- 11:19Speaker 2: That that's in their.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Faces and everything you can see their faces, and maybe
- 11:25Speaker 1: even make snide comments about why you got to dress
- 11:27Speaker 1: like a slot whatever, You got no expectation of privacy?
- 11:31Speaker 1: He posts that online for profit. Is there any recourse
- 11:34Speaker 1: just because it's a secondary sexual characteristic the freemale female
- 11:39Speaker 1: breastas what's the difference? Is there any difference legally and morally?
- 11:46Speaker 1: I mean because the idea that this guy's some sort
- 11:48Speaker 1: of crusader for making sure kids aren't exposed to anything
- 11:51Speaker 1: they shouldn't see in the park. That's not what's happening.
- 11:54Speaker 2: No, that's not what he was doing. Yeah, he was
- 11:57Speaker 2: trying to come up with a justification for he could
- 12:01Speaker 2: do that. Right, he's a provocateur, and he would love
- 12:05Speaker 2: to have been punched. That would have made things even.
- 12:07Speaker 1: Better, only if he held onto his phone though, right,
- 12:12Speaker 1: Otherwise he's just a guy who just got punched with
- 12:15Speaker 1: no phone.
- 12:21Speaker 2: Interesting I think that's going to become more of a conversation.
- 12:24Speaker 2: I'll bet we have to come up with some new
- 12:26Speaker 2: rules around this.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, Hey, any thoughts on this? It drops an
- 12:32Speaker 1: email mail bag at Armstrong and Getty dot com. Why
- 12:36Speaker 1: don't you use the topic mashing in the park so
- 12:40Speaker 1: I can find your email super easily and we'll talk
- 12:43Speaker 1: about it on the show.
- 12:44Speaker 2: Cool, We will do that on a Friday's show. And
- 12:47Speaker 2: you've got a job for the day going forward. Also,
- 12:50Speaker 2: free yourself from the prison in your heart. Oh, let
- 12:54Speaker 2: us know how that goes. I'm gonna find a coworker
- 12:57Speaker 2: and tell him that, you know, they look stressed at
- 12:59Speaker 2: him as my hand on their shoulder and say.
- 13:01Speaker 1: That rub it rub their shoulder a little bit.
- 13:04Speaker 5: Ye.
- 13:05Speaker 2: Well, I guess that's it.
