- 0:00[SPEAKER_00]: What is going on everyone?
- 0:02[SPEAKER_00]: We are back.
- 0:03[SPEAKER_00]: The week three is in the books, which means it is time to talk about waiver claims.
- 0:09[SPEAKER_00]: Before we do get to that, I'm going to rip off the bandade real quick.
- 0:12[SPEAKER_00]: I am not Nick.
- 0:13[SPEAKER_00]: If you have checked in on these waiver videos in the past, you know that I've been around, but it's just me today.
- 0:19[SPEAKER_00]: No friends, no enemies, just winning the waiver wire ahead of week four, setting up our teams to get a win next week and make it to the playoffs in a championship.
- 0:30[SPEAKER_00]: That's what we're here to do today.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_00]: Talk ball, help you win your league.
- 0:34[SPEAKER_00]: Let's get right into it.
- 0:35[SPEAKER_00]: So we're going to get going today by going position by position, talking about all of the interesting or viable pickups that you might have on your waiver wire.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_00]: There are obviously some big names that we are going to be talking about here today.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_00]: Tenions of deep highlighting.
- 0:51[SPEAKER_00]: the Titan position, all the running back injuries that we dealt with the Von H and Travis H and Anne Breeze Hall are all the big ones.
- 0:58[SPEAKER_00]: So get to those, but we're going to start at the quarterback position.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_00]: In my opinion, the biggest one is Sam Darnoans.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_00]: He has a pretty big game in his return from the gluten injury that sideline him.
- 1:11[SPEAKER_00]: we're all of week one virtually and then week two comes against the Washington Commanders 29.66 fantasy points as you see here depending on really scoring settings that might be a little different.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_00]: The one thing that popped out to me for Sam Donald in what his value might look like going forward is the fact that he had 45 pass attempts.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_00]: That is obviously not sustainable.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_00]: We know that
- 1:36[SPEAKER_00]: The sea hops are a team that wants to win with their defense.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_00]: They are a run first offense.
- 1:40[SPEAKER_00]: Perhaps we see that philosophy changing.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_00]: Today, in price has had his struggles with the fumbles.
- 1:47[SPEAKER_00]: Emmanuel Wilson and George Hollani, they've popped here and there, been viable, waiver wire pickups.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_00]: But generally speaking, they have not been particularly successful.
- 1:55[SPEAKER_00]: So perhaps we see this team become a little bit more pass heavy than we saw last year.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_00]: But obviously 45 pass attempts is not something we can expect to see from Sam Donald very often.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_00]: That was just the second time in his entire Seahawks career dating back to last year, obviously, that he has cracked 40 pass attempts in a single game.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_00]: And that was 45 attempts were a career high since he moved to Seattle.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_00]: So now I'm going to see that very often.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_00]: That obviously allows him to put together a pretty nice game.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_00]: Even with the passing volume starting to decline, I really do think that same Donald is a strong pickup if he's out there and you really you see is 47% roster here still I think he's a strong pickup because we know he can be so incredibly efficient.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_00]: simply because of the fact that he has Jackson Smith and Jigba by his side, Jackson Smith and Jigba has been so wildly efficient in his own right, just posting ridiculous numbers above four yards per route run and he has been an absolute menace in the red zone.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_00]: So with Jackson Smith and Jigba leading the way and his ability to just turn red zone opportunities into passing touchdowns, I'm really bullish about Sam Donald.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_00]: I think he is a
- 3:10[SPEAKER_00]: matchup based QB1 moving forward in single quarterback leads and if you're in super flex leads out there obviously want to have him on your roster.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_00]: The other quarterbacks here, I think the other trendy one this week will be Gino Smith.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_00]: That is one of the ones that I am excited about as a potential streaming option moving forward, especially ahead of a matchup against the Chicago Bears.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_00]: So last week,
- 3:39[SPEAKER_00]: caught in dry situation where he could put up ridiculous numbers against the just horrific Detroit Lions defense.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_00]: We see that play out.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_00]: He goes for 321 yards and three scores.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_00]: It arguably could have been even a little bit better.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_00]: If I'm not mistaken that bumble that you see over here, came on the final drive of the game where the jets were rolling looking to get this game close potentially push it to over time.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_00]: So could have been a little
- 4:08[SPEAKER_00]: Next week against the bears on the road, I do think that he is a viable streaming option once again for teams that are in a tough spot at quarterback maybe you drafted Justin Herbert, maybe he was jackson dart or jayton danials you're dealing with injuries, I think you can get to genosmith this week, I know that they kind of shut down.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_00]: The Philadelphia Eagles offense last week.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_00]: Jalen Hertz has a very okay performance largely driven by that rushing touchdown that he had to close out the first half.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_00]: But we've seen that this defense can be a tapable.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_00]: I'm kind of hand waving the week two performance against the Minnesota Vikings.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_00]: They were playing in basically a literal monsoon.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_00]: So I am not looking too heavily into that one, but dating back to week one, Bryce Gong lights up the bears defense.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_00]: The Panthers go.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_00]: for almost 40 points.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_00]: So generally speaking, I'm viewing the bears at the moment as a plus matchup for opposing quarterbacks and opposing offenses in general.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_00]: And we also saw last night on Monday and I football that the bears
- 5:08[SPEAKER_00]: Even without tailed Williams, this offense can be rolling.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_00]: They can be functional with case kingdom under center tossing the ball to Luther Bird and police, Raymond, Colston, Lovelin, DeAndre Swift, can get going in any given week.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_00]: So this could be a spot where the bears' offense pushes the jets' offense as well.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_00]: forces genosmith to drop back a ton rack up the volume that he needs to get there in fantasy football.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_00]: So viewing genosmith as a streaming quarterback if you're in a good spot.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_00]: You're obviously not making that consideration.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_00]: The other one who is popping up in single quarterback leagues at a minimum, not necessarily super flex.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_00]: It is the shot Watson.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I have to give him his flowers after.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_00]: years of looking like an entirely incompetent quarterback, someone who shouldn't even be in the league anymore.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_00]: He has really turned things around.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you just look at the rounds.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_00]: They are shockingly two and one.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_00]: And the fantasy production has been there.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_00]: You see 19 points in a week two.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_00]: A clip says 20 points in week three against the Panthers.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_00]: I'm still not necessarily
- 6:19[SPEAKER_00]: person foremost, you just see the passing production here.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_00]: He's averaging less than 250 yards per game.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_00]: He hasn't even hit 250 yards.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_00]: His touchdown rate is sitting just above 6% that's nothing crazy, but knowing what we've gotten out of the Sean Watts and knowing what we've gotten out of these this Browns offense in years past, I'm expecting that to come down.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not expecting him to have multiple passing touchdowns weekend in weed out.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_00]: And then also the the Russian production perhaps
- 6:48[SPEAKER_00]: I'm wrong here, but I feel like Deshawn Watson, given what we've seen over the last few years, he's not someone who we can be banking on for three and a half, four and a half points from rushing production alone each and every week.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see how that plays out, but there's no doubt that these numbers as a Russia have been impacting what he's done from a fantasy perspective to this
- 7:11[SPEAKER_00]: But I'm still left relatively underwhelmed by the passing numbers and I don't expect that 6-ish percent touchdown rate to be especially sticky.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm not viewing him as like a priority waiver claim in single quarterback leagues.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_00]: Again, in superflex, you can tell yourself the story that you should be starting him.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_00]: But
- 7:32[SPEAKER_00]: but for now, for most leagues, most situations, I'm probably just leaving him on the waiver wire.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_00]: Then we do have some quick hitting super flex thoughts to get to Marcus Marriota in relief of Jayden Daniels.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_00]: He shows out against the C-Hawksy leads.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_00]: The Commanders to a shocking win.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_00]: Again, it's largely driven by a lofty touchdown rate.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_00]: He throws three touchdowns on just 31% of attempts.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_00]: So that touchdown rate is just below 10%.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_00]: That is not going to be sustainable.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_00]: And they're also the simple fact that Jaden Daniels is expected to be back sooner rather than later after.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_00]: the elbow injury that he suffered in week two, the reporting was that this is a week to week situation.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_00]: He'll be back sooner rather than later.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_00]: And then Dan Quinn comes out and says this week that he should be practicing in some capacity ahead of week four.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think that he'll take the field for week four, but that just goes to show that the timeline for Marcus Maryota is very limited.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_00]: So if you're in real dire straits, really need a starter in a super flexly,
- 8:35[SPEAKER_00]: You could go to Mariota against what should be a favorable matchup against the Indianapolis Colts this week.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_00]: Still given the fact that you're probably only going to get another start or two.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, if Daniel's reactivates the elbow injury like we saw last year, that's another story.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_00]: But for now, I'd be operating under the assumption that it's really just a spot start situation from Marcus Mariota.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_00]: So
- 8:58[SPEAKER_00]: worth a pick up in super flex leagues for quarterback needy teams, but not someone that would be heavily targeting.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_00]: The other big one here is pace keynum.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_00]: He takes over for Caleb Williams Williams is expected to be something like a four to six week injury with a grade two hamstring strain.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_00]: So you're getting more starts out of pace keynum and there's no way to describe it other than he looks rock solid against the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_00]: Football last night.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_00]: You're not going to get the rushing touchdown that we got last week, every single week.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_00]: I would not be surprised whatsoever if that's his only one of this season.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_00]: That obviously inflates what he did from a fantasy production perspective.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_00]: But he looked like just watching the game.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_00]: He had all command of the offense.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_00]: He knew what he was doing out there.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_00]: passing numbers are nothing to be entirely fired up about, but it was a positive outcome.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_00]: There's no way around that.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_00]: So again, super flex consideration only the matchup against the jets has been tough.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_00]: I was critical of the jet defense coming into the year, but they have looked better than I expected.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_00]: They obviously get kind of steam rolled against the Detroit Lions last week, but we all know that the Lions are capable of steam rolling literally any defense
- 10:13[SPEAKER_00]: two heavily with the bears with the case kingdom at the helm.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_00]: I would not be surprised what so ever if we see kingdom regress a bit from what we saw last week and the bears' offense takes a bit of a step back with him under center still given the fact that you're going to get a handful of starts out of him he looks good he exceeds expectations I think he's worth a look in super flex league but again it's not someone that I would be aggressively pursuing what
- 10:41[SPEAKER_00]: Alright, moving over to the running back position here, this is where we will have most of the action on the waiver wire this week.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_00]: At the top of the list here, the busiest name, no doubt about it.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_00]: Is Ali Gordon, Devon H and he will be out for the year after suffering, a torn ACL, absolutely brutal.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_00]: He is one of the truly special players in the NFL at the moment and
- 11:10[SPEAKER_00]: Ali Gordon, he is the one who picks up in this game in relief of Devon HN at the end of the day.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_00]: He logs an 83.5% snap rate.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_00]: He runs around on 68.2% of the dropbacks and he ultimately handles 20 of the 24 back-build opportunities.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_00]: He takes 17 carries in Garner's three targets.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_00]: That usage is very encouraging.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, anyone who's playing upwards of 80% of the snaps,
- 11:36[SPEAKER_00]: seeing 20 touches in a game, that is someone who is deserving of being on fantasy rosters.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_00]: But this spot, it's one that I think deserves a lot of context because I think people are going to get out over their skis on Ollie Gordon.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_00]: I just, I want nothing to do.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_00]: with the Miami Dolphins offense, man.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_00]: This is a total total disaster just a garbage pile of an offense.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_00]: I want nothing to do with it.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_00]: So just first off talking about the quality of this offense from a statistical perspective, they rank
- 12:11[SPEAKER_00]: 26 in yards per game 30 first in points per game.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_00]: This is an office that has not scored more than 13 points in a single game this year.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_00]: That should tell you just about everything you need to know, but they rank 19 in yards per play 25 in EPA per play.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_00]: called dumpster fire of an offense man.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_00]: And it shows up with just edge hands numbers.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_00]: HN is like an all-cran caliber running back if you was in a better situation on a better team.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_00]: I wholeheartedly believe that the Von HN would have received all pro votes last year, but HN couldn't even escape the situation he failed to eclipse.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_00]: 13 PDR points in his two healthy games to this point.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_00]: So this is not an offense that we want to invest in, particularly when the player is a replacement level type of caliber type of player.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_00]: And that is Ali Gordon.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_00]: And the other situation here is that the other notable backup in this backfield was not active for week three.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_00]: So that inflated Ali Gordon's usage numbers
- 13:15[SPEAKER_00]: Jalen Wright.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_00]: He was inactive for this game.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_00]: He's been dealing with a stinger as well as a foot issue.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_00]: It remains to be seen whether or not he'll be good to go by week four.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_00]: But the way I'm viewing this, the way I'm playing this is the most likely outcome is that this is going to be a committee between Ali Gordon and Jalen Wright.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_00]: Jeff Happley has gone on the record this week saying that they were both quote unquote, played their roles.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_00]: moving forward.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't think Ali Gordon is a stone cold lock to be a bell cow, a stone cold lock to seize this backfield.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_00]: I really think it's going to be a split situation.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_00]: And I also think that Jalen Wright could very reasonably become the one A after he becomes healthy.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_00]: So
- 13:57[SPEAKER_00]: This is just not a spot to be burning a number one waiver claim not the spot to be dumping your fat.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_00]: They both of these guys deserve to be rosted.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_00]: We're not really going to get into right.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_00]: I think he deserves a pickup in deeper leagues 12 team league with a deep bench or a league with more than 12 managers.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_00]: Both of them deserve to be rosted.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_00]: But I'm not going buck wild on a committee back yields in the Miami dolphins offense.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_00]: It's just not a worthwhile pickup.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_00]: I understand that you're going to get basically a full season out of these guys.
- 14:29[SPEAKER_00]: But when it's all set and done, I think these guys ultimately emerge as roster cloggers as opposed to someone that you're excited to start weekend and week out.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm
- 14:41[SPEAKER_00]: Probably going to be putting in low end claims, making small bids on them because, again, I think they deserve to be rostored, but I will not be aggressively pursuing the Miami Dolphins backfield this week.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_00]: All right, moving along here to Braalan Allen, he is the other.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_00]: big time pick up on the waiver wire at the running back position this week.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_00]: Breeze Hall goes down with a quad injury, a thigh injury in the fourth quarter.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_00]: On Monday, Aaron Glenn was being a little bit teachy about his status saying they don't have an update and they won't give us one until Wednesday.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_00]: It really looked like
- 15:15[SPEAKER_00]: We were about to be dealing with a Jonah Coleman situation where we were filing waiver claims, and we had no idea what the situation was.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_00]: But the NFL inside a chefner and rapper for a day, they throw us a layout.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_00]: They tell us that Reece Hall is considered week to week.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm expecting him to miss somewhere between two and four weeks, two to three, seems like the most likely outcome.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_00]: But that positions Braille and Allen to become the featured
- 15:44[SPEAKER_00]: Braylon Allen in the wake of the Brishal injury, he plays every single snap or the jets to close out the game.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_00]: That was 17 plays.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think that's going to be the situation.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_00]: He would be a real surprise if we see Braylon Allen log 100% snap rates in relief of Brishal in the next couple of weeks.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_00]: I expect Isaiah Davis to mix in in passing situations here and there, but he is going to be the future back.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_00]: He's Braylon Allen and that makes him a priority pick-up because as soon as Brie's Hall is ruled out, which we are expecting, Braylon Allen is
- 16:17[SPEAKER_00]: going to be viewed as a weekly RB2 given the workload that we can expect out of him.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_00]: And the other factor here just in terms of projecting expectations for his role in his usage without grease all in the mix, it's really encouraging that we have seen him used in a pass-catching role to this point in the season because you seem listed here at 235 pounds.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_00]: Just thinking about the player, you kind of think of him as this bruising big body back,
- 16:45[SPEAKER_00]: He has been utilized in past sketching situations.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_00]: He has a route rate of 31.9% and he has played 65.1% of third-down snaps.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_00]: To this point in the season, some of that does come last week after Breeze Hall goes out.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_00]: But still, the jets think that Braelyn Allen can play a well-rounded role.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_00]: He's not going to be just some true-down grinder.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_00]: Again, I expect Isaiah Davis to come in in relief in some of those passing situations.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_00]: But Braylon Allen, if you can play something that resembles a three-down, every-down role, and then you couple that with the fact that the Jets offense has looked functional through this point in the season.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, that's not something that we kind of grown to know, something that we expect.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_00]: out of the New York Jets, but to this point, they ranked 17th in points per game, 20th in yards per play and 10th in EPA per play.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_00]: And some of that is bolstered by the fact that they were rolling against the Lions last week.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_00]: But again, I'm not viewing the Chicago Bears who the Jets play next week, Raylan Allen will be the starter in that game.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not viewing the Chicago Bears as a particularly tough matchup.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_00]: So I expect the jets offense to be able to move the ball, find themselves in scoring situations.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_00]: So that obviously all boats well for Braylon Allen.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_00]: I would view him as the top waiver wire pick up at the running back position this week.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_00]: If you find yourself in a situation where
- 18:06[SPEAKER_00]: You desperately need an RB2.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_00]: You need a couple of spot starts at the running back position.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_00]: I would be aggressively pursuing Braylon Allen in that situation given that team context.
- 18:16[SPEAKER_00]: I would be willing to burn the number one waiver claim to get two or three games out of Braylon Allen.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_00]: He willing to dump a bunch of fat on him.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_00]: I view him as a higher priority ahead of the dolphins running backs.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_00]: If your team isn't a spot where you don't really need running back production Allen wouldn't hit your lineup.
- 18:35[SPEAKER_00]: You can be a little bit more cautious, not use the number one waiver claim not spend a bunch of fat on him, but for most teams, most situations, particularly ones where you are in desperate need of running back help.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_00]: Allen is the number one pick up this week.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_00]: There's no doubt about it.
- 18:50[SPEAKER_00]: Like the third running back situation to monitor is the New Orleans Saints, Alvin Camera, I'm not really going to go to date into the weeds with him because he, you see here, he is 55% rostered.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_00]: Given the news of the Travis HN injury, he is expected to miss some time.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_00]: It remains to be seen how long that will be, but given that news, Alvin Cameras should be rostered.
- 19:13[SPEAKER_00]: And just about every league, he probably should have been rostered at this point and 12 team
- 19:19[SPEAKER_00]: he should be rostered in most 10 team leagues.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_00]: He is going to most likely function as the one A, but the player that I do want to talk about is Kendra Miller.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_00]: He is just 4% rostered in sleep or leagues.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_00]: He is probably the player that you are going to be looking at on the waiver wire in most leagues because again, Albuquerameria already rostered in 55% of league.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_00]: So Kendra Miller, I think
- 19:47[SPEAKER_00]: particularly deep leagues.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_00]: Again, 12 team leagues with defenses, leagues with mate more managers than 12.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_00]: I expect this to be a split back field in New Orleans for as long as Travis HN is sideline, which again, could be a couple of weeks because at this point in Alvin Cameras career, I just don't think that he can
- 20:10[SPEAKER_00]: hand and I don't think that the Saint will thrust him into a bell cow roll.
- 20:15[SPEAKER_00]: That's just not anything that he's capable of handling at this point and it's not in the best interest of the offense.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_00]: He's been inefficient as a Russia for several years now.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_00]: He was a liability in the passing game last year.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_00]: He was terrible in past protection.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_00]: He wasn't efficient out of the back field.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_00]: He wasn't even highly utilized as a past catcher.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't really want to dunk on Albuquerade, but that's just getting at the point that I'm not expecting him to be a bell cow back in week four and beyond for however long HNs out on the sideline.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_00]: That is not how they played this backfield after HN left the game last week.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_00]: After he was sideline for the game, Cameras saw six carries while Kendra Miller saw four carries and two targets.
- 20:59[SPEAKER_00]: So we saw this as a split operation.
- 21:02[SPEAKER_00]: I would expect Cameras to be the one A while Miller's the one B.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_00]: There will be some sort of a wrong for Miller and my opinion.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_00]: It would be a shock if he is a stone cold zero in the usage department.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_00]: in week four.
- 21:16[SPEAKER_00]: So I think he's worth a pick up.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_00]: If you are just absolutely destroyed at running back, you could get him into the mix against the Atlanta Falcons defense there.
- 21:25[SPEAKER_00]: Front seven has been absolutely abiscerated to open the year.
- 21:30[SPEAKER_00]: They've got James Pierce dealing with a suspension.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_00]: They've got Jalen Walker out with an injury.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_00]: Those are guys on the edge.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_00]: So it's not as big of a factor in the running game still.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_00]: I think this is where the Saints can effectively run the ball.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see, but I'm expecting some sort of a workload out of Kendra Miller.
- 21:46[SPEAKER_00]: So you're probably just stashing him and seeing how things play out.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_00]: But if you're in a really bad spot, I think that there are going to be worse options at the running that position this week.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_00]: All right, we've got
- 21:57[SPEAKER_00]: got two more running backs to talk about here today.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_00]: The first of which is Los Angeles charges running back Keaton Mitchell.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_00]: You see him pop a little bit here in terms of like the box score production in this fantasy output 13.7.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_00]: PPR points in that week three.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_00]: He gets there on the back of a touchdown.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_00]: He punches it in on a receiving touchdown from the one yard line.
- 22:20[SPEAKER_00]: I think that you're not looking at someone that you can get into your lineup, but given the increased role that we saw in week three and just knowing that this guy is an explosive playmaker.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_00]: We've seen it dating back to his time in Baltimore.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_00]: We've seen it in bits and pieces here in his first year with the Chargers.
- 22:40[SPEAKER_00]: Given that skill set, the increasing role, I think he is worth a bench-stash at a minimum.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_00]: So talking about that role, he saw his strongest usage of the season in week 3, he played 35.9% on the SNAPs, handled 11 of the 31 backfield opportunities that was 8 carries in three targets.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_00]: He posted a route rate of 36.8% and then again, he does get an opportunity in an inside the five situation.
- 23:04[SPEAKER_00]: He has that receiving touchdown from the one yard line.
- 23:08[SPEAKER_00]: And then just watching the game, watching how the offense flows, it looks like that Mike McDaniel really wants to get teeth and Mitchell involved in a somewhat meaningful way.
- 23:19[SPEAKER_00]: You think about how the Mike McDaniel offenses have succeeded.
- 23:23[SPEAKER_00]: It's been on the back of speedy claymanicers running back through fit well in his own scheme that is key to Mitchell more so that I'm already in Hampton and you can push back because the charges offense has looked like a total disaster to open the season.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, we don't even need to get into that conversation.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_00]: But it looks like that they really want to get deep Mitchell involved.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_00]: And if he continues to outrout Omarian Hampton, if he continues to get looks in Golden Girls situations, there could be something there.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_00]: And if the offense starts to hit its stride, because the entire thesis has been that deep Mitchell might play a meaningful role in a high powered offense.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_00]: One of the most potent offenses in the league.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_00]: We're starting to see him take on that somewhat meaningful role.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_00]: if the offense starts to hit its stride and this is something that resembles what we had expected in the preseason, I think that there is a world where keyed Mitchell becomes a viable flex option because you're just banking on scoring opportunities, him being an explosive playmaker, this offense, putting together sustained drives each and every time that they're out on the field.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_00]: So there could be something there for the time being, I think he is worthwhile pick up
- 24:34[SPEAKER_00]: The finally running back that I want to talk about here today is Las Vegas Raiders rookie Mike Washington Jr.
- 24:42[SPEAKER_00]: He is just the handcuffs that pop this week.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_00]: I think Washington, alongside guys like Emmett Johnson, Tank Thigs, B.K.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_00]: and Black,
- 24:51[SPEAKER_00]: These are all of the priority high-end handcuffs that deserve to be rostered in just about every league with a reasonable level of bench-dap, so 10 teamers, 12 teamers.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_00]: I think that these high-end handcuffs deserve to be stashed away, even though they don't have much stand-alone value, and that is very much the case for Mike Washington.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_00]: So we'll be highlighting him here today, but again, I think Emmett Johnson tank things, all those guys, they deserve to be rostered.
- 25:19[SPEAKER_00]: Mike Washington heat pops in week three.
- 25:21[SPEAKER_00]: He rips off a 36 yard touchdown run and that is kind of the entire thesis with Mike Washington.
- 25:28[SPEAKER_00]: He is an explosive playmaker.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_00]: We see him run that ridiculous 40 yard dash at the combine and we see him ripping off chunk runs chunk plays throughout the preseason.
- 25:37[SPEAKER_00]: That's why.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_00]: So many people were excited about him coming into the year that along with the Ashton Gentie injury.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_00]: There isn't much of a standalone role here.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_00]: He hasn't had more than seven opportunities at a single game to this point.
- 25:51[SPEAKER_00]: But we can see how things might play out if Ashton Gentie were to miss time.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_00]: Mike Washington would soak up the vast majority of the Russian work in the Raiders' offensive doesn't have any much of past catching juice, so you're not going to get that out of him, but still he has some pop and juice as a russia.
- 26:08[SPEAKER_00]: So, of gentsy miss is time, big time rushing workload from Mike Washington, and he seems to have the talent to be able to do something with it.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_00]: And then also the Raiders offense, they've popped a little bit here through the first three weeks under Kirk cousin to the team is three and oh, which is encouraging, but looking at under the hood at some of those offensive metrics he ranks 19 in yards per game, the Raiders rank 19 in yards per game nine in points per game and 22 in yards per play, so the offense, they have some juice to them, that obviously is here for fantasy running backs, we want them to be putting together a long drive, providing running backs,
- 26:44[SPEAKER_00]: with scoring opportunities.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_00]: So we've got a blend of talents and offense that's exceeding expectations and someone who would take on a meaningful workload should the starter miss time.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_00]: Just like some of those other guys that I was talking about earlier, that sort of profile, that sort of outlook makes Mike Washington, someone who should be stashed on benches in the majority of leagues, his roster percentage is sitting at 39%, that deserves to be bumped up especially after the
- 27:14[SPEAKER_00]: from that matchup, I guess, in our own sense.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, the wide receiver situation is a lot less appealing than the running backs, but there are some spots here where we can make some claims add some players.
- 27:28[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, Tyre Killau will...
- 27:29[SPEAKER_00]: What are we doing here guys?
- 27:30[SPEAKER_00]: I like he ran some routes.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_00]: He's being cryptic on Twitter again.
- 27:34[SPEAKER_00]: I don't get it.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_00]: Why is he rostered in 24% of the leagues?
- 27:38[SPEAKER_00]: But people are free to do whatever the hell they want with their roster.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_00]: But the big name here in my opinion is Keenan Allen.
- 27:43[SPEAKER_00]: He is still doing it in the big two six guys.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_00]: He draws nine targets.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_00]: turns it into 18.3 fantasy points that is because he finds the end zone.
- 27:53[SPEAKER_00]: Well, looking at the cults, I think the big takeaway here and from what we saw last week is that without Alec Pierce in the fold, this offense from a target's perspective,
- 28:04[SPEAKER_00]: has become incredibly condensed.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_00]: And that is obviously very good for the past countries here.
- 28:10[SPEAKER_00]: So Daniel Jones in week three, he dishes out 35 total targets, 30 of them.
- 28:16[SPEAKER_00]: Go to the trio of Josh towns, Tyler Warren and Tina Allen.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_00]: If these guys are convincing to that degree, each and every week, which is now my expectation, there will be games where some of the ancillary guys pop up.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_00]: and Jonathan Taylor has 456 targets.
- 28:31[SPEAKER_00]: That will happen from time to time.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_00]: But this offense being so condensed is bullish for everyone involved.
- 28:38[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like I don't really need to talk that in depth about Keenan Allen.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_00]: We kind of all know what we're getting here at the
- 28:45[SPEAKER_00]: age of 34 still he is able to be someone who can command a 20 to 25% target share in any given we he is still a target earner at this age and that is going to provide him with a reasonable enough floor especially if the target competition is so limited everything is funneling through just a couple of guys so on the back of that volume you can get weeks here where he has a reasonable floor
- 29:11[SPEAKER_00]: weeks where you're fine, starting him in your flex spot in good matchups.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_00]: If your team is banged up, so I think that he is someone who should be picked up if you're in a tough spot at why receiver or just your flex, you need someone with a startable type of floor and in this new look, cold offense, I think team and Allen can be that kind of guy and not expecting.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_00]: six targets every week, but somewhere between six to seven in most weeks, that would not be surprising whatsoever.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_00]: You're not getting much of a ceiling.
- 29:41[SPEAKER_00]: The only way for him to have a ceiling outcome is him hitting the end zone like we saw last week because he's not making plays down field.
- 29:48[SPEAKER_00]: There's not much yak ability left in his game.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_00]: So it's really just a volume play and then prank he gets into the end zone.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_00]: But with how we saw this past intact look last week, there could certainly be enough volume to where you're fine getting him into your flex spot.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_00]: The other player who was kind of in a same situation as Keenan Allen, I kind of view him in a similar light is Malik Washington without Caleb Douglas in the lineup for the Miami Dolphins last week.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_00]: It was no surprise to see Malik Washington.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_00]: featured as the number one option in this passing attack he draws 10 targets on the week good for a 7.8% target share and you're seeing here that was his second game of the year in which he had more than eight targets but I do think that
- 30:36[SPEAKER_00]: There is a little bit more to be had with Malik Washington, that Ben King and the Allen, at least from a real perspective, because something that we've seen with Malik Washington, I was talking about this last week on the waiver wire show, that Washington is taking on a different role than we've been accustomed to in the past.
- 30:55[SPEAKER_00]: He's been kind of like that screen merchant that PPR scammer who's only getting books within like five yards of the line of
- 31:01[SPEAKER_00]: That's changing right in front of our eyes in 2026 is a 10 point yard eight out.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_00]: He's garnered six deep targets through three games.
- 31:08[SPEAKER_00]: So those are targets that comment least 20 yards down the field.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_00]: So he's also getting menu factored looks in the offense.
- 31:15[SPEAKER_00]: He has five design targets and three rush attempts on the years.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_00]: So.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_00]: That target volume, the fact that he's getting scheme books gives him a reasonable floor.
- 31:26[SPEAKER_00]: Again, there's not that much of a ceiling here just because of what we have seen from the quality of offense.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_00]: But I really do view him as sort of a roster band aid.
- 31:36[SPEAKER_00]: You like the usage.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_00]: You like the volume that he's been seeing.
- 31:39[SPEAKER_00]: So there's enough of a floor there where you think you can get him in your lineups.
- 31:44[SPEAKER_00]: But with the dolphins scoring 12 points per game,
- 31:50[SPEAKER_00]: But the other Y to see where that I want to get to here is another Dolphins Y to see for because with Caleb Douglas out, we see Chris Bell in an expanded role for the very first time.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_00]: He runs 64.3% of the routes.
- 32:04[SPEAKER_00]: He earns seven targets which translates to a 19.4% target share and then just watching what he did in the game.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_00]: You saw what made people so interested in Chris Bell from his prospect profile.
- 32:18[SPEAKER_00]: It's the fact that at such a big size he's 6228 pounds, he can get on his horse and get after it after the catch.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_00]: He has a short reception.
- 32:28[SPEAKER_00]: He catches it within a handful of yards of the line of scrimmage.
- 32:31[SPEAKER_00]: It was a quick in-breaker, but he gets after and he turns it into a 44-yard gain with plenty of yacht.
- 32:36[SPEAKER_00]: And then also you see kind of what he can do outside the numbers, it doesn't turn in anything, but he has two targets where he is open there were touchdowns on the table, but he has near misses with Malik Willis.
- 32:47[SPEAKER_00]: So all the gather just watching it and also from a usage and production perspective.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_00]: I think you can be pretty optimistic about what Chris Bell had to offer.
- 32:57[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's nothing more than a stash at this point.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_00]: We're just got a one in denim under rosters and deep release and evaluate what things look like with Chris Bell ramping up when Caleb Douglas gets back into the mix and then we'll eat Washington in the fold as well.
- 33:11[SPEAKER_00]: seeing if anyone can emerge.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_00]: If it's Chris Bell, I think that there is some level of upside here, because if he can be a consistent target earner and then pair it with the yacht and playmaking ability that we saw on display in week three, there could be some level of a week-to-week ceiling here.
- 33:28[SPEAKER_00]: So if I'm in need of upside at the wide receiver position, I would consider stashing Chris Bell.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_00]: He would be one of the top waiver wire pickups at the wide receiver position.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_00]: This week,
- 33:40[SPEAKER_00]: All right, the final wide receiver that we have to talk about here today.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_00]: We have to acknowledge Cliff Raymond.
- 33:46[SPEAKER_00]: We just have to do it this guy refuses to go away.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_00]: You see it up here, experience 10.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_00]: The year 10 breakout is upon us for years after being nothing more than a rotational receiver and a special teamer.
- 34:00[SPEAKER_00]: He is now really making an impact with the Chicago Bears.
- 34:05[SPEAKER_00]: He leads the team in targets in week one.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_00]: He follows that up with a five target performance in week two.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_00]: And then he really flashes on Monday night football.
- 34:15[SPEAKER_00]: He leads the team in receiving yards of CS seven targets six receptions.
- 34:19[SPEAKER_00]: 90 yard that is highlighted by a 41 yard touchdown scamper that is kind of just on busted cover is but you have to acknowledge that it's a place you believe Raymond credit for that.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_00]: So at this point, I am still remaining skeptical that any of this is sticky.
- 34:36[SPEAKER_00]: Is Khalif Raymond good to lead the team in yardage and fantasy scoring by seasons ends?
- 34:41[SPEAKER_00]: I think that is a highly unlikely outcome, but still he is
- 34:46[SPEAKER_00]: playing his way into a meaningful role in this offense.
- 34:49[SPEAKER_00]: He is not going away.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_00]: We have not seen his year-sage, at least from a mouse perspective, heavily fluctuate.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_00]: So this is an offense that we want to invest in.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_00]: Even if I'm still skeptical of his role or just his general year-sage holding up, I don't think that we can ignore it for this much longer.
- 35:06[SPEAKER_00]: This is when Caleb Williams is back, going to be a high-end offense.
- 35:11[SPEAKER_00]: And even we were talking about it earlier, case kingdom.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_00]: shows that he can keep this train on the track.
- 35:15[SPEAKER_00]: So, Cleve Raymond, I believe he deserves to be rostered in 12 teamlies with relatively deep benches.
- 35:21[SPEAKER_00]: There's not that much excitement involved.
- 35:24[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, if you think you're just looking at the production, 16.4 points, 21 points,
- 35:28[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe you can convince yourself that there is some level of excitement there, but I'm not expecting that production to hold up.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_00]: So you can do with that information what you will.
- 35:36[SPEAKER_00]: If you're on a good spot at wide receiver.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_00]: I am not looking to invest in Cleats Raymond, but if you're in a pretty bad way, I would add him because at this point, we've just got to acknowledge this guy.
- 35:46[SPEAKER_00]: It's no longer fluke.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_00]: It's no longer a flash in the pan.
- 35:50[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see how the season plays out and at a minimum, you deserve to be rostered.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_00]: Moving over to the tight end position, there is definitely a lot more juice here than what we had at wide receiver, the poster boy of the position and perhaps the week as a whole is none other than Kenyan Sadik.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_00]: I hope you listen to Nick and I were both talking about him in the off season.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_00]: And Nick, specifically, he was talking about him ahead of last week.
- 36:15[SPEAKER_00]: If you did not make heavy investments in your Titan room in the draft, Sadik was one of the premier bench dashes to make.
- 36:22[SPEAKER_00]: He has an insane athletic profile.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_00]: He tears it up at the combine.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_00]: And then he garners top 15 draft capital from the jets in the draft.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_00]: So he has all the makings of a potential rookie breakout at the Titan position.
- 36:35[SPEAKER_00]: And then we see that.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_00]: play out pretty clearly in a week three.
- 36:39[SPEAKER_00]: With AdNy Mitchell and Mason Taylor's sideline in a cupcake matchup against the Detroit Lions, Kenyans said he absolutely thrives.
- 36:47[SPEAKER_00]: He ends the day with eight targets, good for a 21.6% target share.
- 36:51[SPEAKER_00]: He draws a target on 32% of his routes.
- 36:54[SPEAKER_00]: He has seven receptions, 105 yards, and a spectacular touchdown catch.
- 36:59[SPEAKER_00]: So it was wheels up for CDK and this one he takes advantage of the opportunity he puts his athletic traits on display and he generally shows just about everything that you want to see.
- 37:11[SPEAKER_00]: The only like red flag you might not be able to call it a red flag is that his route rate was just 56.8% Nick did point this out on Twitter and if you were watching the game who saw this as well he appeared to get a little bit banged up after that touchdown and some other spots in this game so
- 37:28[SPEAKER_00]: There was a chance that he was just held off for precautionary reasons in some spots.
- 37:32[SPEAKER_00]: So that might not be something to look into to heavily that route rate.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_00]: And then also just given the fact that how he played and the fact that they need heavy investments into him and the fact that he was dealing with a hernia issue throughout the off season.
- 37:48[SPEAKER_00]: It sidelines and for a good stretch of training camp.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_00]: So they were ramping this guy up.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_00]: All those things considered, I think we can expect his route rate to climb.
- 37:55[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't think I really need to say much more.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_00]: You saw literally everything if you were interested in Kenny on CD.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, athletic traits, the production, the role.
- 38:03[SPEAKER_00]: It was all there.
- 38:05[SPEAKER_00]: So if you don't have a set in, forget it tight in one.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_00]: CD is quite clearly the number one pick up in this wave of run at the tight end position.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_00]: And again, we were talking about a little bit earlier.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_00]: that the Jets offense looks pretty frisky, looks pretty good in this game, in this season, to this point in general.
- 38:23[SPEAKER_00]: So that coupled with everything that we saw last week, should have you pretty excited about Kenya on CD?
- 38:28[SPEAKER_00]: I still kind of view him as a wait and see option, just waiting to see those routes come up because on those view routes he is not going to be able to draw a seven eight targets and produce 105 yards very often.
- 38:41[SPEAKER_00]: So,
- 38:42[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe you can get to him in week two.
- 38:44[SPEAKER_00]: You're probably ranked as a fringe type n1 for me.
- 38:47[SPEAKER_00]: So maybe you can get to him.
- 38:48[SPEAKER_00]: But ideally, this is kind of just a wait and see situation.
- 38:52[SPEAKER_00]: Next up, we've got Tyler Hingby.
- 38:54[SPEAKER_00]: I think he is very much a viable streamer in week four.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_00]: He takes advantage of a Terrence Ferguson injury.
- 39:01[SPEAKER_00]: He was another player, was T-Ferg, who I, as well as Nick and many others, had pegged as a potential breakout candidate.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_00]: He has that in week two.
- 39:11[SPEAKER_00]: We see him explode in prime time against the New York Giants.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_00]: But Terrence Ferguson goes down with an ankle injury.
- 39:17[SPEAKER_00]: He's limited to just eight routes on Sunday night against the Broncos.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_00]: In his absence, Tyler Hickby becomes the go-to passcatching tight-end.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_00]: He runs 71.7% of the routes draws 11 targets and puts up 20.2 fantasy points as you're seeing here.
- 39:33[SPEAKER_00]: So that was really encouraging.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_00]: But I do think that this situation requires a bit of context, obviously.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_00]: Pukena Kua is sideline for this game.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_00]: If he's back on the field for a week, for and Sean Macbay, seems to be optimistic about his availability.
- 39:49[SPEAKER_00]: 11 targets for Tyler Higby is a little bit of a pipe dream.
- 39:53[SPEAKER_00]: And then the other factor here is that Colby Parkinson, who has been involved in the passing game in the past, he was like really banged up coming to this game.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_00]: He was truly listed as questionable.
- 40:03[SPEAKER_00]: He's able to go and suit up, but he only plays 43.9% of the snaps despite the Ferguson injury.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_00]: So those three factors, the hook and a Kua injury and Colby Parkinson potentially playing a bigger role in Terrence Ferguson's absence, I mean, that can give you some pause.
- 40:21[SPEAKER_00]: on Tyler Higby's outlook, his value.
- 40:24[SPEAKER_00]: But if Nukura can't go, I think he is certainly a viable streaming option in week four.
- 40:29[SPEAKER_00]: The final tight end that we'll be talking about is Darren Waller.
- 40:33[SPEAKER_00]: He's still doing his thing at 34 over the last two weeks.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_00]: You have seen both facets of his game kind of pop up in week two.
- 40:41[SPEAKER_00]: You see here he has the two touchdowns.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_00]: He has two inside the 20 targets in that week.
- 40:46[SPEAKER_00]: He holds both of them in for two touchdowns.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_00]: That's been known about Darren Waller.
- 40:50[SPEAKER_00]: at six, six, he is a premier red zone weapon.
- 40:54[SPEAKER_00]: So you've got that going for him.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_00]: And then in we three as well, he shows that you can get legitimately involved in the flow of the offensive draws, eight targets, but much like the Tyler Higby situation in requires some context.
- 41:08[SPEAKER_00]: Jalen Coker is limited to just 17 routes in this game.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_00]: He picks up a
- 41:12[SPEAKER_00]: quad injury.
- 41:13[SPEAKER_00]: So the absence of Coker on the field, no doubt, we influenced Waller's target volume to some degree.
- 41:19[SPEAKER_00]: But if Coker misses week four, he's expected to be questionable for week four.
- 41:24[SPEAKER_00]: If he's out, there is a safer fear for Waller.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_00]: It's no longer just a bet on him following and a touchdown.
- 41:30[SPEAKER_00]: I like to call it the touchdown lottery.
- 41:32[SPEAKER_00]: It's no longer just that because there is a path to reasonable levels of volume or Darren Waller.
- 41:38[SPEAKER_00]: I still remain skeptical of Waller's value from a season long perspective.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_00]: because he's never cracked a 60% rout rate.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_00]: So far this year and that's kind of the role we saw him playing in my amy last year.
- 41:50[SPEAKER_00]: He's kind of just the situational player.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_00]: Are we a red zone weapon?
- 41:54[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't know what the week to week for is going to look like moving forward with poker back in the mix because just running that view routes.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_00]: You're really just still banking on touchdown.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_00]: With poker misses week four, there's enough of a little floor in my opinion to get him into your line up.
- 42:09[SPEAKER_00]: So he's more so of a streaming option as opposed to someone that I want to be holding and considering playing week in a week out because I feel like there are just better bets to make from a touchdown perspective.
- 42:21[SPEAKER_00]: Better offenses, tight ends.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to run near routes, then Darren Wallace.
- 42:25[SPEAKER_00]: So potential week four streamer, one to even iron with the help of Jalen poker.
- 42:34[SPEAKER_00]: no doubt about it.
- 42:35[SPEAKER_00]: All right, to close things out here, we are going to talk about some drops.
- 42:40[SPEAKER_00]: Just a quick rapid fire, handful of players that might be on your bench.
- 42:44[SPEAKER_00]: You'd spend meaningful draft capital on them.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_00]: I heard some people clamoring for a drop section.
- 42:50[SPEAKER_00]: So we'll get through a few of them here.
- 42:52[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, Devon HN, you're dropping him.
- 42:54[SPEAKER_00]: He's done for the year, unless you're in some people league situation.
- 42:57[SPEAKER_00]: Marsh on Lloyd.
- 42:58[SPEAKER_00]: this guy is entirely droppable.
- 43:00[SPEAKER_00]: I thought he was droppable ahead of last week.
- 43:03[SPEAKER_00]: I dropped him in a 10 man league that I am in.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_00]: He is virtually droppable in every single league of regardless of size.
- 43:09[SPEAKER_00]: Definitely 10 and 12 person leagues.
- 43:11[SPEAKER_00]: The role is just not fantasy viable.
- 43:14[SPEAKER_00]: He's playing less than 30% of the snaps in each of the last two weeks.
- 43:18[SPEAKER_00]: and then on top of that, he has looked terrible individually.
- 43:21[SPEAKER_00]: The packers, they cannot run the ball whatsoever.
- 43:24[SPEAKER_00]: I expect this to be just a really ugly, re-headed monster moving forward in an offense that seems to be incapable of doing anything on the ground whatsoever.
- 43:34[SPEAKER_00]: I would be done
- 43:37[SPEAKER_00]: pulling on to him in a 12 man league.
- 43:39[SPEAKER_00]: That's pretty disappointing in my opinion, because I was excited about him.
- 43:43[SPEAKER_00]: I thought that he was legitimately talented.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_00]: His prospect profile featured a lot of exciting things namely his ability to generate explosive plays.
- 43:50[SPEAKER_00]: I thought he would seize this opportunity and become the go-to Russia in the absence of Josh Jacobs.
- 43:56[SPEAKER_00]: That is obviously not how things panned out.
- 43:59[SPEAKER_00]: So even if you drafted late and you chased him up, the board got him in the seventh eighth rounds, I think that you've got to cut me.
- 44:07[SPEAKER_00]: I would prefer a high-end hand cuff as opposed to Martian Lloyd, someone like we were talking about earlier tank figs, the Emmett Johnson, all those guys in that to your probably even like Washington who we were talking about earlier.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_00]: So I am cutting bait on Martian Lloyd.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_00]: Quinn Johnson here obviously another one of the pretty big disappointments in the middle rounds of drafts.
- 44:29[SPEAKER_00]: His
- 44:30[SPEAKER_00]: failure, there are some things going on individually, but also it is largely driven by the failure of the Chargers offense.
- 44:38[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I'm not someone who's somewhat in Johnston's stand.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_00]: I understand that he has looked bad, but there's no doubt about it that the struggles of the offense in general aren't big contributor to what we've seen out of Johnston from a targets perspective and just a fantasy production perspective.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_00]: But in this sort of offense, one that is struggling to
- 44:57[SPEAKER_00]: score, generate explosive plays, six targets, five targets.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_00]: That's just not going to get it done on a week to week basis.
- 45:03[SPEAKER_00]: And again, he has been individually struggling as well in a 10 team league, he should have already been caught and I'm definitely considering it in a 12 team league.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_00]: I'm personally still holding out a little bit of hope that the chargers can get it the year down.
- 45:18[SPEAKER_00]: not sure if that's going to calm it relatively soon because you see the upcoming schedule Seattle Denver Kansas City before they roll into their buy.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_00]: Then they get Los Angeles, Houston, Baltimore.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if we're going to get that anytime soon.
- 45:29[SPEAKER_00]: I'm still leaving the light on a little bit for the chargers, but given what we've seen to this point given, we upcoming schedule.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_00]: There are some other wide receiver that I would rather have on my roster and Quint Johnston moving along to some other incredibly different disappointing wide receivers
- 45:46[SPEAKER_00]: Not other than Marvin Harrison's single digit target share on the year to this point six point eight percent of the targets nine total targets for Marvin Harrison to this point it's just not a fantasy viable role not fantasy viable usage whatsoever again it's really disappointing because.
- 46:04[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, there were insane expectations for Marvin Harrison Jr. coming out of college.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_00]: He does not live up to them whatsoever.
- 46:11[SPEAKER_00]: He was drafted in the first round in a lot of weeks in his rookie year.
- 46:15[SPEAKER_00]: It is the Tramig Bride and Michael Wilson show in Arizona.
- 46:18[SPEAKER_00]: They have been responsible for upwards of 50% of the team's targets at this point in the season.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_00]: There will be weeks where Marvin Harrison Jr. pops.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_00]: He'll have an explosive play.
- 46:28[SPEAKER_00]: He'll haul in.
- 46:29[SPEAKER_00]: a touchdown, but considering he has taken such a significant back seat, the Cardinals ran 81 plays last week.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_00]: Jacobi Bersett was dishing out plenty of targets and he can only get to five targets on the week.
- 46:44[SPEAKER_00]: That is the final nail in the coffin for Marvin Harrison in my opinion.
- 46:48[SPEAKER_00]: Just no sustainable role, no consistent usage.
- 46:52[SPEAKER_00]: I am getting rid of him if he's on my team.
- 46:57[SPEAKER_00]: on the year.
- 46:58[SPEAKER_00]: There is nothing that can be done about Marvin Harris and Junior in my opinion.
- 47:02[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm just moving on, going to the waiver while looking for other options.
- 47:07[SPEAKER_00]: Speaking of disappointing young receivers, we have to talk about Brian Thomas Jr. as well.
- 47:14[SPEAKER_00]: What has been made on Twitter and online about the fact that from a SNAPs percentage,
- 47:22[SPEAKER_00]: were playing a similar role in the last week's game.
- 47:25[SPEAKER_00]: You see it here 37% snappery and the routes weren't particularly good either and then from a target's perspective.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_00]: Again, very, very ugly.
- 47:35[SPEAKER_00]: I am more willing to fold on to Ryan Thomas Junior than the other guys that we were talking about earlier, Quentin Johnston and Marvin Harrison Junior.
- 47:44[SPEAKER_00]: Simply from the fact that
- 47:45[SPEAKER_00]: through two weeks.
- 47:47[SPEAKER_00]: The role in the usage were pretty encouraging.
- 47:49[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you looked at the week one.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_00]: You see 35% snaps, three targets.
- 47:53[SPEAKER_00]: It should be noted that he left the game with a shoulder issue.
- 47:56[SPEAKER_00]: So that impacted his ball you and his snap rate.
- 48:00[SPEAKER_00]: But through to games from a per route perspective, he was commanding reasonable volume.
- 48:06[SPEAKER_00]: So I was still interested there.
- 48:07[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you see him draw nine targets in week two.
- 48:10[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm leaving the light on that this is maybe a
- 48:15[SPEAKER_00]: three.
- 48:16[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm probably holding him in 12 teamlies.
- 48:18[SPEAKER_00]: I think you can get rid of them in 10 team leaders.
- 48:21[SPEAKER_00]: I'm remaining a little bit optimistic in 12 team leagues with Brian Thomas Junior's C. Fee bounces back from a usage at his role against the Cincinnati Bengals, which can be an attack with defense.
- 48:32[SPEAKER_00]: We saw Aaron Rogers pick him apart last week.
- 48:35[SPEAKER_00]: So I would still be holding him in 12 teamers, but in 10 teamers, I think everything that we've seen from a usage perspective is enough to move in another direction.
- 48:44[SPEAKER_00]: All right, guys, that is going to do it for us here today.
- 48:47[SPEAKER_00]: Everyone that you should be prioritizing on the weekcare, waiverwire, handful of guys that you can consider dropping as well.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you all, enjoy it.
- 48:56[SPEAKER_00]: But that will be it for us here this week.
- 48:59[SPEAKER_00]: I'll be back next week for the week five, waiverwire.
- 49:02[SPEAKER_00]: I will see you all next time.
