  SPEAKER_00: I was talking with an entrepreneur a couple days ago who came into our community and they were telling me, you know, they're trying to hire and trying to build a faith-driven, service-oriented team, but they're struggling because they don't know how to hire faith-driven people.

  SPEAKER_00: And they don't want to explicitly ask, hey, are you a Christian?

  SPEAKER_00: Hey, do you believe in Jesus?

  SPEAKER_00: Hey, do you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior?

  SPEAKER_00: Like those are important questions, but in the business world, you can be seen as discriminatory for asking those kinds of questions.

  SPEAKER_00: And so what I told her was instead of directly asking those questions, see if the values align.

  SPEAKER_00: Are they a person of integrity?

  SPEAKER_00: Are they a person of love?

  SPEAKER_00: Are they a person who's selfless, who's giving, who is there to serve, right?

  SPEAKER_00: Not there to be served, not there to take and not give, right?

  SPEAKER_00: Do their values align with your values, or do their values align with biblical principles, right?

  SPEAKER_00: Steps make faith a cornerstone of your business.

  SPEAKER_00: First, start meetings with a brief prayer devotional.

  SPEAKER_00: This might not work in every business, but if you can take out five, ten, fifteen minutes to just get a quick prayer, get everyone in the right mindset, invite the Holy Spirit into the room.

  SPEAKER_00: And second, create a company mission statement that reflects your faith values.

  SPEAKER_00: So many people they have a they have a vision in their mind, they have a mission, they have a vision, they have core values, but they think they're wishy-washy.

  SPEAKER_00: They never say, hey, these are our core values.

  SPEAKER_00: This is our mission.

  SPEAKER_00: This is what you're signing up for when you come work with us, either as a partner or as an employee or as a client, and align how you do business with your mission, your vision, your core values.

  SPEAKER_00: And the easiest way to do this is by living like Christ yourself.

  SPEAKER_00: Entrepreneurs teach us, hey, you have to go work 18, 20, 22 hours a day, or else you will fall behind, or else your business will suffer.
