- 0:12Speaker 1: Hey, guys, what's up. My name is Orca Jane. I'm
- 0:15Speaker 1: here with Diamonds in the Rough. Our friend Teddy Millencamp
- 0:18Speaker 1: is away, but I have a fabulous co host here,
- 0:23Speaker 1: the wonderful Matt Laffrey.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Listen to be called fabulous by the Erica Jane. I
- 0:29Speaker 2: can't ask for anything more. The podcast can end right now, guys,
- 0:32Speaker 2: it's over.
- 0:32Speaker 1: No, it can't, No, it can't. Actually, we have lots
- 0:36Speaker 1: to talk about, and you have quite a stand up
- 0:39Speaker 1: career of your own, so I expect this to be
- 0:42Speaker 1: good and fun.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Thank you, Erica. That's pressure, but I'm ready. I'm ready
- 0:45Speaker 2: to be funny real quick. We should explain maybe why
- 0:48Speaker 2: Teddy's not here, so guys, just so you know, Teddy
- 0:51Speaker 2: loves this podcast so much. She had an issue today
- 0:54Speaker 2: where she needed to go get an MRI because she
- 0:55Speaker 2: was in a little bit of pain. And she is
- 0:58Speaker 2: someone that has a wrong reaction to munotherapy, so every
- 1:01Speaker 2: time she gets it, it's attacking a different part of
- 1:05Speaker 2: her body. Before it's her thyroid. Now they think it's
- 1:07Speaker 2: something in her pelvic area. So that's why she's not here.
- 1:10Speaker 2: She wants to be here more than anything, but she
- 1:12Speaker 2: wanted the show to go on, so that's why I'm
- 1:14Speaker 2: here filling in for her. She's a fighter and she
- 1:17Speaker 2: sends her love to all of you. But that is
- 1:19Speaker 2: the update, and now Erica and I can disagree.
- 1:21Speaker 1: On things, and now we can all right.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Well, I want to ask you since you are in
- 1:27Speaker 2: the world of the show. So we ended the first
- 1:30Speaker 2: episode where they kind of were going at Katie about
- 1:32Speaker 2: the phone, and it kind of is like it to
- 1:33Speaker 2: be continued now. Sometimes we go right back into the fight,
- 1:37Speaker 2: but on this they kind of just speed through the
- 1:40Speaker 2: end of the trip and then enter into the women
- 1:43Speaker 2: meeting up separately. Why do you think we didn't get
- 1:46Speaker 2: the culmination of them with Katie showing the receipts.
- 1:50Speaker 1: I've been on the show like this for ten years.
- 1:52Speaker 1: I try not to overthink things like that, try not
- 1:55Speaker 1: to get into production's mind or editors or the way
- 1:59Speaker 1: this is being told. What I did think was most
- 2:02Speaker 1: interesting was that they got to hot Pot, and that's
- 2:05Speaker 1: where it all got good for me. You know, when
- 2:08Speaker 1: you break up and you see the women break up
- 2:10Speaker 1: into pairs. I mean, that's obviously for build and everyone
- 2:14Speaker 1: has their own experience with whatever happened. Before. But I
- 2:21Speaker 1: thought it was interesting that they put Katie and Shannon
- 2:23Speaker 1: together knowing that Katie had filmed her, and you know,
- 2:28Speaker 1: then before Shannon, you know, gets to hot pot and
- 2:31Speaker 1: there you have it. Okay, Emily, Tam Regina meet up
- 2:34Speaker 1: for a lymphatic drainage. By the way, this looked like
- 2:36Speaker 1: a really interesting massage. So if anybody from that place
- 2:40Speaker 1: wants to hit me up, please do. I'd like to
- 2:42Speaker 1: get drained myself. And at the same time, Shannon and
- 2:45Speaker 1: Katie meet at this bench that you're talking about and
- 2:47Speaker 1: they're gonna talk. Go ahead, babes.
- 2:51Speaker 2: So Shannon kind of gives Katie, I guess, like a
- 2:55Speaker 2: Housewives one oh one lesson here, right, Like she was
- 2:58Speaker 2: kind of telling her how to navigate the in a
- 3:00Speaker 2: way that Katie wasn't doing to kind of make her
- 3:02Speaker 2: relationships work on the show. Is how I took it
- 3:06Speaker 2: as a fan watching.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Yes, but you can't do that season two. You're supposed
- 3:13Speaker 1: to figure that out season one. And as we see
- 3:16Speaker 1: as we get further down into the episode, Katie digs
- 3:18Speaker 1: herself into a bigger hole.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Right.
- 3:21Speaker 1: But I will say Gretchen's blonde is fierce. That shit
- 3:25Speaker 1: is lifted up to a platinum level status. That that
- 3:29Speaker 1: is some blonde ass hair.
- 3:31Speaker 2: All right, Well, since we brought up Gretchen's hair already,
- 3:33Speaker 2: it doesn't move for me. So I was like, why
- 3:36Speaker 2: what is going on with the hair? Is this where
- 3:38Speaker 2: Slate is hiding his money allegedly, Like, what's the story
- 3:42Speaker 2: of this hair?
- 3:43Speaker 1: No, there's no room to hide money in that hair
- 3:46Speaker 1: because it's all up. But I think that her color
- 3:50Speaker 1: is like within an inch of being like ultraviolet, you
- 3:55Speaker 1: know what I mean. Like hair color is like just
- 3:58Speaker 1: really platinum, which I don't mind, like I love a
- 4:01Speaker 1: good platinum. But I was like, wow, that shit is
- 4:04Speaker 1: she looks great. I mean, she looks damn near the
- 4:06Speaker 1: same as fifteen years ago or however many years ago.
- 4:09Speaker 1: I did not like that. I know we're speaking out
- 4:10Speaker 1: a sequence. I don't care. I didn't like the fact
- 4:14Speaker 1: that when they got to Hotpot, there was no build
- 4:16Speaker 1: between Tamra and Gretchen. It was immediately into conflict. I
- 4:20Speaker 1: didn't want to see that. I didn't need to see that.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Well they do, you feel like they needed to.
- 4:25Speaker 1: I don't know whose choice that was, but I would
- 4:27Speaker 1: have liked to have seen a little bit more build
- 4:30Speaker 1: before we go at each other.
- 4:32Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I'll get into it when we get there, right,
- 4:34Speaker 2: But since we're on Gretchen real quick as well, I
- 4:36Speaker 2: want to ask you because she makes a comment that
- 4:38Speaker 2: she has not had any plastic surgery done.
- 4:40Speaker 1: And that's some hell of a preservation. Maybe she hasn't.
- 4:44Speaker 1: I mean, look, I don't know. If she hasn't, good
- 4:47Speaker 1: for her, and if she doesn't want to tell, good
- 4:49Speaker 1: for her. You know who cares, right whatever, you know?
- 4:56Speaker 1: And Katie telling Shannon that she appreciates Shannon sticking up
- 4:59Speaker 1: for her when she felt like everybody was, you know,
- 5:02Speaker 1: going after her number one. Hey, Shannon, you've been on
- 5:06Speaker 1: the show a really long time and you know how
- 5:07Speaker 1: that goes. So to say I don't like seeing somebody
- 5:11Speaker 1: getting we don't either. But that's kind of how this
- 5:13Speaker 1: thing works. This is the game. So you can say
- 5:16Speaker 1: you don't like it, but you've been a you know,
- 5:19Speaker 1: a participant of it and a victim of it, and
- 5:22Speaker 1: you're going to do it again.
- 5:23Speaker 2: Shannon knew what she was doing, of course she did.
- 5:25Speaker 1: She calls flat and I do.
- 5:27Speaker 2: I also want to say, for Emily, our friend Emily
- 5:30Speaker 2: at the podcast, I would love for my husband to
- 5:33Speaker 2: leave behind in and out Burger everywhere he goes. That
- 5:36Speaker 2: would be a dream marriage for me.
- 5:37Speaker 1: That would be fine. I like Shane right, like, she
- 5:40Speaker 1: seems sweet and I really worry that, you know, Emily
- 5:44Speaker 1: is really going through it with Luke and I feel
- 5:46Speaker 1: badly for that. But you see how man and women
- 5:49Speaker 1: handle things differently in the car.
- 5:51Speaker 2: Well, well you get to that scene. I I have
- 5:52Speaker 2: a question. I'm gonna ask you, Okay, but anything else
- 5:56Speaker 2: that you want to say about this because we have
- 5:58Speaker 2: tamer thinks Katie is guilty on everything and they're talking
- 6:00Speaker 2: about the blogger. Still I do too, Yeah, And I.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Mean we've I did too experience shows like this is
- 6:05Speaker 1: not a good thing to do, Katie. Stop talking to
- 6:07Speaker 1: the bloggers. Just just do the show. Just do the show.
- 6:10Speaker 1: And then I loved it when Gina was like and
- 6:12Speaker 1: I like Gina. Gina got in she was like, I
- 6:14Speaker 1: feel bad I brought her into this group.
- 6:17Speaker 2: Well, well you know how bringing people into the group
- 6:20Speaker 2: on the show is.
- 6:21Speaker 1: But still it makes you look bad because then they
- 6:23Speaker 1: say you brought them here.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Right right, You're like associated with them no.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Matter what, no matter whether you did or did not.
- 6:32Speaker 2: So but Tama drops the bomb on Gena and Emily
- 6:36Speaker 2: about Katie recording Shannon at the.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Which is dirty.
- 6:40Speaker 2: Right do you think that, I'm going to tell you.
- 6:42Speaker 1: Right now, if one of my castmates did that shit
- 6:44Speaker 1: to me, you'd be out, like and and I also
- 6:47Speaker 1: think that our cast nobody would trust you Like that
- 6:52Speaker 1: is just not okay in any way possible. Being on
- 6:54Speaker 1: the phone with your husband recording it, sharing it with him, Like,
- 6:57Speaker 1: why why do you have me any things I've seen
- 7:00Speaker 1: and I've heard about people that I work with that
- 7:04Speaker 1: I don't do, Like, that's just what are you doing
- 7:07Speaker 1: that for? There's nothing good, There's no good motivation behind that.
- 7:10Speaker 1: Oh I was just you know, No, I just don't
- 7:13Speaker 1: like any of this behavior because it's really talking to bloggers.
- 7:17Speaker 1: You're recording your castmates for what.
- 7:20Speaker 2: Do you think that she just felt out of her
- 7:22Speaker 2: depth because she says.
- 7:24Speaker 1: No, I feel like she has bad coaching. I feel
- 7:26Speaker 1: like she Yeah, I'm gonna tell you what I really think.
- 7:28Speaker 1: I've seen Hicks. I don't fucking know because I don't
- 7:30Speaker 1: know this woman, but I'm gonna tell you this. I've
- 7:32Speaker 1: seen women come in and think that this is a
- 7:35Speaker 1: game and it's some sort of chesting and look, guys,
- 7:38Speaker 1: show up and be yourself. Navigate around the moment. You
- 7:42Speaker 1: try to outfox a producer, or out fox or castmates
- 7:45Speaker 1: or I got one up on you. Number one, producers
- 7:48Speaker 1: hate you. Number two, your castmates fucking really hate you.
- 7:51Speaker 1: And number three, you're not doing what you're supposed to
- 7:54Speaker 1: be doing, which is entertaining. You know, you're not here
- 7:58Speaker 1: to like it's not the CEA like, we're not here
- 8:01Speaker 1: to do like spy games.
- 8:03Speaker 2: We're here to entertain.
- 8:04Speaker 1: Yeah, are the FBI. I mean, well that's a different situation,
- 8:07Speaker 1: but that's not what you're doing as a housewife. You're
- 8:10Speaker 1: there to be in the moment developing relationships, whether they're
- 8:13Speaker 1: good bad. But like gathering information to lay out on somebody, well,
- 8:18Speaker 1: I know this, it's like I don't want to work
- 8:20Speaker 1: with somebody like that. I just don't want to work
- 8:23Speaker 1: with somebody like now I'm immediately shut down. I won't
- 8:25Speaker 1: talk to you.
- 8:26Speaker 2: Yeah. Do you think that Tamar was smart in giving
- 8:30Speaker 2: the information to Gena and Emily in the hopes that
- 8:32Speaker 2: they would bring it to the group instead of doing
- 8:34Speaker 2: it herself.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Well, I think that, yes. I mean it's softer if
- 8:41Speaker 1: it's Gina and Emily as opposed to Tamra, who, even
- 8:44Speaker 1: though she's right, is going to get a harsh response.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Does that make sense? So yes, And I mean I
- 8:49Speaker 1: don't know if that's thought out or whatever, but it
- 8:52Speaker 1: is a softer way to deliver it, which doesn't hurt
- 8:56Speaker 1: because you know, Tamra drives this show, right, Camra drive
- 9:00Speaker 1: this show whether you and by the way, is all
- 9:01Speaker 1: they talk about. I was about to say they handed
- 9:03Speaker 1: her the show last in this episode, just so you know, ladies,
- 9:06Speaker 1: you hand Tamra Judge the show every fucking time you
- 9:09Speaker 1: do this, and she sits there and smiles like.
- 9:12Speaker 2: A fox and takes it on the chin, man on
- 9:15Speaker 2: the chin.
- 9:16Speaker 1: And moves it along. It's just you know, you guys
- 9:19Speaker 1: are just handing her the show.
- 9:21Speaker 2: Yeah, I will say for Tamra, you know she's going
- 9:24Speaker 2: to therapy, which is great, and she's working on herself.
- 9:26Speaker 2: I do wish your therapist would tell her to stop
- 9:28Speaker 2: with the trucker hats. Tamra, if you're listening, ye, she
- 9:32Speaker 2: wears them for the truck her.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Hats right now. Bond Dutch had a little bit of
- 9:37Speaker 1: a resurgence the y two K moment had a bit
- 9:40Speaker 1: of a resurgence, and I just, you know, I'm not
- 9:43Speaker 1: I'm not big on the trucker hat vibe.
- 9:45Speaker 2: No, and they always say something but that meanly listen.
- 9:48Speaker 1: But I also like people having an identity, so there
- 9:52Speaker 1: is something like if you're talking about her trucker hat,
- 9:55Speaker 1: she's clearly associated with trucker hats.
- 9:58Speaker 2: Hopefully there's not a fire during this podcast.
- 10:00Speaker 1: I mean, what else did you know? It's interesting because
- 10:05Speaker 1: there's like an aura of chaos around our group that
- 10:09Speaker 1: is legit. I don't know what consciousness were tapped into.
- 10:12Speaker 1: I'm really trying to figure it out. I'm like, I'm
- 10:15Speaker 1: watching every podcast I know to how to tap into
- 10:17Speaker 1: some better shit, and I just keep I.
- 10:21Speaker 2: You know, I think it's hilarious. If you're listening and
- 10:23Speaker 2: you can hear that beep, I think it's Jesus is
- 10:26Speaker 2: here with us and he's beeping through the fire.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Detective.
- 10:28Speaker 2: He wants to know that that this podcast is a
- 10:31Speaker 2: phenomenon one.
- 10:32Speaker 1: This podcast is blessed from above.
- 10:35Speaker 2: All I want to say about the scene was Shannon
- 10:37Speaker 2: and her daughter that we get with them going through
- 10:40Speaker 2: the fridge is that that was extremely relatable to me
- 10:42Speaker 2: because I had just traveled home with the Pittsburgh recently
- 10:44Speaker 2: and my mom tried to feed us eggs. It expired
- 10:46Speaker 2: in November of twenty twenty four.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Shannon's refrigerator looks just like mine, but mine's worse. Mine
- 10:52Speaker 1: looks like a fraternity house. Oh cold pizza. Like I've
- 10:57Speaker 1: had some people looking there that were like and these were,
- 10:59Speaker 1: you know, like males, Like my son was like, what
- 11:02Speaker 1: the fuck is in here? You're gonna die? Like what
- 11:05Speaker 1: is this? Like, there's you know, there's nothing in my refridge.
- 11:08Speaker 2: Okay, so cold pizza?
- 11:09Speaker 3: Is there?
- 11:09Speaker 2: Beer?
- 11:11Speaker 1: No? No?
- 11:12Speaker 2: Oh, there's probably lots of coke A.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Cola about well, don't look at me, lots of that
- 11:25Speaker 1: was so shady cola. Yes, there are coke called colas
- 11:31Speaker 1: in my refrigerator because you know, sometimes kids keep coke
- 11:35Speaker 1: in the fridge. And then I have some perier, my
- 11:39Speaker 1: fancy friends that come over, like rachel Zo who just
- 11:41Speaker 1: came over the other day, who, by the way, I
- 11:43Speaker 1: really like.
- 11:44Speaker 2: Okay, well that's good to know. I don't know if
- 11:45Speaker 2: I can ask you. I would love to dig into
- 11:47Speaker 2: real house like Burly Hills is an aside.
- 11:49Speaker 1: But I can't say much, but I can't say I
- 11:51Speaker 1: like Rachel.
- 11:53Speaker 2: Oh clock that yeah, if you have, if you didn't
- 11:56Speaker 2: clock that clock that, I.
- 11:57Speaker 1: Did like Rachel. I think she's she's really good, she's
- 12:00Speaker 1: good to be and she's a cool person. But my
- 12:04Speaker 1: refrigerator is not much better than Shannon's. And I loved
- 12:07Speaker 1: watching her daughter come home. And I love it that
- 12:09Speaker 1: her daughter is in New York City living her best life.
- 12:12Speaker 1: I actually enjoyed that.
- 12:13Speaker 2: I think they have a fun relationship to her, and I.
- 12:15Speaker 1: Enjoy seeing that because it was just enough. It was
- 12:18Speaker 1: just enough, it was positive, and I like that. I
- 12:21Speaker 1: like a quick check in with the kids.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree with you. Well, speaking of kids, the
- 12:39Speaker 2: next scene we get is Shane and Emily having their
- 12:42Speaker 2: heartbreaking drive after Emily's therapy. Now, there's a lot of
- 12:48Speaker 2: chatter online, so I ask you how you feel about it.
- 12:51Speaker 2: There are people who feel like Emily shouldn't be talking
- 12:54Speaker 2: about this on camera. So for you, as someone who
- 12:59Speaker 2: is on a show like this, do you agree disagree? Like,
- 13:01Speaker 2: what are the pros and cons of speaking about your
- 13:04Speaker 2: child's disorder on camera that will last forever?
- 13:09Speaker 1: I have two versions of this. I didn't speak about
- 13:14Speaker 1: a child. So I understand, you know, children are the
- 13:18Speaker 1: most protected thing. But when I spoke about my own
- 13:21Speaker 1: mental health journey and my own therapy and what I
- 13:26Speaker 1: was doing to kind of like, you know, get myself
- 13:28Speaker 1: back on track, I received a lot of messages saying
- 13:31Speaker 1: thank you for talking about it and showing us that
- 13:37Speaker 1: or showing the audience that number one, things happen to everybody,
- 13:41Speaker 1: and perhaps you know, I understand why people would say,
- 13:44Speaker 1: don't speak about your child, but also what if there
- 13:47Speaker 1: are families that are going through the same thing and
- 13:49Speaker 1: bringing awareness to something like this. Ultimately, if you help
- 13:53Speaker 1: one person, I think is wonderful. But I think that,
- 13:57Speaker 1: you know, talking about things all of the shame away
- 14:01Speaker 1: from them. I don't know. Obviously it's individual. I get it.
- 14:06Speaker 1: I understand both sides, I really do. But bringing awareness
- 14:10Speaker 1: to something like this can help.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree with you. I mean, it's her child
- 14:16Speaker 2: and she is going through the situation. I think seeing
- 14:18Speaker 2: her and Shane deal with it and seeing how they
- 14:21Speaker 2: react to things differently is also an interesting.
- 14:24Speaker 1: That's a male female thing, is it? When I watched
- 14:26Speaker 1: that scene, I watched a male brain and a female brain.
- 14:29Speaker 1: I didn't watch husbands and wives not getting along. I
- 14:34Speaker 1: just saw the way a mother processes things in a
- 14:36Speaker 1: way of father processes things. And I didn't think that
- 14:39Speaker 1: either one was wrong, you know, I didn't. I. You know,
- 14:44Speaker 1: it's a really sensitive situation and mothers and fathers process
- 14:48Speaker 1: things differently, and males and females process things differently.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Yeah. I agree with you though, that it's something that
- 14:54Speaker 2: isn't talked about a lot. It was interesting to know
- 14:57Speaker 2: that this is a disorder that even.
- 14:58Speaker 1: Exists, right, clearly, this exists. Yeah, And I'm sure that
- 15:03Speaker 1: she is not alone and Luke's not alone, and perhaps
- 15:08Speaker 1: you can shed some light on that and maybe maybe
- 15:10Speaker 1: help someone.
- 15:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:11Speaker 2: And I think for as as someone who's been a
- 15:14Speaker 2: fan of the shows for so long, and the fandom
- 15:16Speaker 2: kind of especially if they're not on someone's side per
- 15:20Speaker 2: se and during the season, they want to find fault
- 15:22Speaker 2: in things. But guys, if there's someone out there who
- 15:25Speaker 2: is seeing someone on TV dealing with something that they
- 15:27Speaker 2: are dealing with that they aren't able to maybe talk
- 15:29Speaker 2: about or don't know how to express themselves, and they
- 15:31Speaker 2: can feel seen and see like, oh other people go
- 15:34Speaker 2: through this, it's always a positive.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Or you know, Emily is also well spoken and educated,
- 15:39Speaker 1: and I'm sure that she will be out there, you know,
- 15:43Speaker 1: helping to bring awareness to this. Yeah, I'm sure of it.
- 15:47Speaker 1: And there are others out there. I'm sure this exists.
- 15:49Speaker 2: People Magazine spread, So yeah, she is, She's using her platform.
- 15:53Speaker 1: How about this? How about we leave Emily, Luke and
- 15:55Speaker 1: Shane alone, correct Aimen, Just leave them alone?
- 16:00Speaker 2: So then we we go and Gretchen enters the scene
- 16:03Speaker 2: for the first time, our girl, Gretchen with her hair and.
- 16:07Speaker 1: With the platinum hair.
- 16:08Speaker 2: So what is your view on Slade? You're like, what
- 16:11Speaker 2: your when he walks on the on the screen, what
- 16:14Speaker 2: happens to you? Does your buttole tents up a little bit?
- 16:17Speaker 1: Or well, I can't say that, but I don't see
- 16:25Speaker 1: it either way. Look for whatever reason, let me just
- 16:28Speaker 1: say this clearly, Gretchen and Slade have a relationship that
- 16:31Speaker 1: has lasted. I did not know that Slade's son had
- 16:34Speaker 1: passed away from a brain tumor. That's heartbreaking. I know that,
- 16:39Speaker 1: you know, I didn't know that they weren't they were
- 16:41Speaker 1: they had not gotten married. I know they share a daughter.
- 16:43Speaker 1: I don't care, like I'm not really either.
- 16:46Speaker 2: Way, Katie and Matt hosting, Gretchen, Slade, Jen and Ryan Right.
- 16:50Speaker 1: Yeah, and it was a good old Tamra fest. I mean,
- 16:52Speaker 1: you guys again, you know everybody's talking about tam Good
- 16:57Speaker 1: for you, Tim.
- 16:58Speaker 2: Right, Like it's just the very first thing you bring up,
- 17:01Speaker 2: so you you almost are making it more rele You're
- 17:06Speaker 2: making her more relevant.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Well, the only reason the six of you are sitting
- 17:10Speaker 1: there is because of Tamra Judge, right, because that's that's
- 17:14Speaker 1: what brought you guys together. And when you do that,
- 17:17Speaker 1: it becomes tamor show.
- 17:20Speaker 2: And also, let's not forget the Tamra was let go
- 17:24Speaker 2: from the show and two seasons of the show went
- 17:26Speaker 2: on and then they asked Hammar to come back. Gretchen
- 17:29Speaker 2: was let go from the show, and one million seasons
- 17:32Speaker 2: went on before Gretchen was asked BacT. So I think
- 17:34Speaker 2: we should just let that be known that there's a
- 17:36Speaker 2: reason why Tamar Judge was brought back very quickly to
- 17:39Speaker 2: the show after her long tenure.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Yeah. And whether you like Tamra or dislike Tamra, bottom
- 17:46Speaker 1: line is we're on a show watching, you know, conflict,
- 17:50Speaker 1: and Tamra brings a lot to the show, so much
- 17:53Speaker 1: so that six people get together who really don't know
- 17:56Speaker 1: each other and talk shit about her.
- 17:58Speaker 2: There is something I need?
- 18:00Speaker 1: Am I right?
- 18:01Speaker 2: No, You're one hundred percent right, And people are probably
- 18:04Speaker 2: going to be like, oh god, just someone else filling
- 18:06Speaker 2: in for Teddy to stand up for her.
- 18:07Speaker 1: I'm not standing up for Tamra.
- 18:09Speaker 2: No, I'm just and I don't like what.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Tamarra said about Slade's child regardless, Like I don't care.
- 18:14Speaker 1: And there are times that I don't like Tamra's behavior
- 18:16Speaker 1: and I will say that, like, come on, girl, like stop,
- 18:18Speaker 1: you don't need to push that hard. That's ridiculous. However,
- 18:22Speaker 1: you cannot deny the fact that she's drawing all of
- 18:25Speaker 1: that to her.
- 18:25Speaker 2: There is a reason why she's the longest running housewife.
- 18:28Speaker 1: Yeah, and so I mean, lover or hater, she's pulling
- 18:32Speaker 1: it in so real quick.
- 18:34Speaker 2: We need to discuss Jen Gretchen saying that every New
- 18:39Speaker 2: Housewife reaches out to her to discuss Tamara, because there
- 18:42Speaker 2: is this screenshot that we have from Jen's previous season.
- 18:45Speaker 2: She had posted about tamar and Gretchen initially comments.
- 18:50Speaker 1: So Gretcham reached out in the comments section as opposed
- 18:53Speaker 1: to I know this feeling all too well. I'm sorry
- 18:56Speaker 1: you're blindsided. I never really understood why certain cast members
- 19:00Speaker 1: think other people's relationships are any of their business or
- 19:02Speaker 1: that they have any say in them. It's weird, empathetic,
- 19:05Speaker 1: stay strong girl, And then Jen responded, you definitely have
- 19:09Speaker 1: walked in these shoes. It's not easy, as you know.
- 19:12Speaker 1: Thank you for reaching out. Let's connect. I would not
- 19:18Speaker 1: give this woman that much power.
- 19:21Speaker 2: So and now, so why don't they see that? On Instagram?
- 19:25Speaker 2: Jen then put up her receipt where she then DMed Gretchen.
- 19:29Speaker 2: But this interaction in the comments happened first, and then
- 19:32Speaker 2: Jen DM Gretchen, and Gretchen sent her phone number.
- 19:35Speaker 1: And I'm sure they got together and said, what do
- 19:38Speaker 1: you talk about? I know, but what are you gonna do?
- 19:41Speaker 2: Like?
- 19:42Speaker 1: Roll? You're on, you're on a you're on an ensemble cast,
- 19:46Speaker 1: roll with punches.
- 19:48Speaker 2: Yeah, we'll talk more about Gretchen and gentle minute. But
- 19:50Speaker 2: I have to ask you, as someone who loves the
- 19:52Speaker 2: straight man, did you catch Matt Katie's husband picking up
- 19:57Speaker 2: the wooden spoon and going what's this for? To smack that?
- 20:00Speaker 1: Yeah? It was a little stiff and awkward.
- 20:02Speaker 2: Don't do that why he's like fifty eight years old.
- 20:07Speaker 1: Well, I'm fifty four and I smack that ass.
- 20:11Speaker 2: I would actually let you smack come over.
- 20:13Speaker 1: To my house and see what happens. Yeah, I'm not shy, but.
- 20:18Speaker 2: You know whatever, I take it back because I'm about
- 20:20Speaker 2: to right now on him.
- 20:23Speaker 1: It seems a little awkward.
- 20:24Speaker 2: It seemed forced. It was like at a dinner party
- 20:26Speaker 2: and it's like, why are you like? It was weird
- 20:29Speaker 2: to me.
- 20:29Speaker 1: Well, I also don't like the Hey, they all ganged
- 20:32Speaker 1: up on Katie. Oh yeah, God, I didn't like Hey, Matt.
- 20:35Speaker 1: Katie brought that on herself. So we can't have the
- 20:40Speaker 1: And this is what happens. I hate husbands on these shows.
- 20:42Speaker 1: I fucking hate him. And I'll tell you why. This
- 20:44Speaker 1: is women's business. Don't get involved in women's business. Like
- 20:47Speaker 1: the great Meani Leak said, don't get involved in women's business,
- 20:51Speaker 1: stay the fuck out of it.
- 20:52Speaker 2: And the same for the shady gays. Okay, we don't
- 20:55Speaker 2: need you. Shady gaze caught some problems.
- 20:58Speaker 1: I mean, I think the shady gaze are good for
- 21:00Speaker 1: quick reads, Like, yeah, I do have a good reason.
- 21:03Speaker 1: I'm a tolerate gaze. I'll tell you why sometimes y'all
- 21:06Speaker 1: are better than housewives.
- 21:07Speaker 2: Well they can pop in and give give a little
- 21:09Speaker 2: quick humor for the gays.
- 21:12Speaker 1: Getting these chicks together with their hair, makeup, glam and
- 21:14Speaker 1: their quick reads, these shows would be bland. And I
- 21:19Speaker 1: said it all right, So.
- 21:20Speaker 2: Erica, if you need me to come on Beverly Hosing
- 21:22Speaker 2: Drive Story, just let me know.
- 21:23Speaker 1: I shall. Do you want me to do? Immunlater want
- 21:26Speaker 1: me to slide into your DMS Matten to ask you
- 21:28Speaker 1: what should I do with this? Because God knows that
- 21:32Speaker 1: you know I mean, but it's true. I mean, listen,
- 21:35Speaker 1: we need gays. We don't need straight man. You guys
- 21:39Speaker 1: need to watch football and or wrestling or something else.
- 21:43Speaker 1: Just stay out of women's business. And I'm not in.
- 21:45Speaker 1: But gay men are welcome here because they have a
- 21:47Speaker 1: unique perspective and unique skill that y'all ain't got.
- 21:53Speaker 2: You know what we need straight men for on the show.
- 21:55Speaker 1: There is one nothing, no money, no bills, backdrop, props set.
- 22:03Speaker 1: You know that's what we need from y'all.
- 22:05Speaker 2: No to sit silently while the housewife downloads on what
- 22:08Speaker 2: happens and the man can.
- 22:09Speaker 1: Pretend I remember being married and Tom just looking at
- 22:14Speaker 1: me like what the fuck? Like, I girl, shut up.
- 22:20Speaker 1: I don't want to bother some man at home with.
- 22:24Speaker 2: And then she said, as if you didn't call from
- 22:28Speaker 2: the ride home, Like could you believe what this bitch
- 22:30Speaker 2: said about.
- 22:31Speaker 1: I called from the ride home the other day. That's
- 22:34Speaker 1: a whole other story. My gaze.
- 22:38Speaker 2: Put me on that group. You know what?
- 22:40Speaker 1: You know what? Actually, hold on a second. I should
- 22:44Speaker 1: have picked up the phone and called.
- 22:45Speaker 2: Yeah. But while we're at Katie and Matt's were intercut
- 22:49Speaker 2: with Heather coming over to Tammer's house.
- 22:52Speaker 1: What's going on with the floor and why is that
- 22:54Speaker 1: being drilled up?
- 22:55Speaker 2: She said it was overflowed from a sink.
- 22:56Speaker 1: Oh that's right there. I guess it must have ruined
- 22:58Speaker 1: all the tile water damage? Eh?
- 23:00Speaker 2: Is that? Is that as overflowing of a sink and
- 23:03Speaker 2: destroy just the whole kitchen?
- 23:04Speaker 1: I mean, I guess if it's sat, I don't know.
- 23:07Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 23:07Speaker 1: I rent, so I don't guess what I rent too.
- 23:12Speaker 3: I'm a renter, he too?
- 23:13Speaker 1: Oh my god?
- 23:14Speaker 3: You know?
- 23:15Speaker 1: Wow? Whoa we rent? Okay? But you know what I
- 23:19Speaker 1: did like about this was when Tama got into her
- 23:22Speaker 1: single white female about Jen and then and she pulled out.
- 23:26Speaker 1: She pulled up that old Instagram photo and she said
- 23:29Speaker 1: that her lips looked like hot dogs, and I just
- 23:33Speaker 1: thought that was like, look, we've all had a few
- 23:36Speaker 1: pokes and pricks and whatever. You know, Jen's sweet and cute,
- 23:42Speaker 1: but Tama was being Tamor and then she even had
- 23:45Speaker 1: her old extensions put in like Tamra went for her.
- 23:48Speaker 2: She read her down, well, like the used isn't that
- 23:52Speaker 2: like a help code violation?
- 23:54Speaker 1: Can't do that, like they just you can't use used
- 23:57Speaker 1: hair that came out of my hair and put it
- 24:00Speaker 1: on somebody else's hair, Like.
- 24:01Speaker 2: Who is this hair girl that took out TAM's extensions?
- 24:04Speaker 2: Like you know what, what is this?
- 24:05Speaker 1: What's that health cone violation? We're gonna have to send
- 24:08Speaker 1: the health and beauty people over there immediately. The workout
- 24:11Speaker 1: pictures as well, and then she called her heavy. But
- 24:15Speaker 1: you know it is Heather who I love, who really
- 24:19Speaker 1: is pulled back. She looked at gin shoes that Instagram
- 24:23Speaker 1: post and was like exactly, and what the hell I
- 24:33Speaker 1: saw her? Absolutely she was repulsed and I clocked it,
- 24:38Speaker 1: and I was like, she's looking at the girl's shoes
- 24:40Speaker 1: and she's like Tammer's focused on the lips.
- 24:51Speaker 3: AND's gotten her look together and she's adorable. And then
- 24:54Speaker 3: they cut to the bikini thing where she's crushing it.
- 24:57Speaker 3: But my god, and that we all have bad pictures.
- 25:00Speaker 1: I'm not saying I don't. God knows there enough of me,
- 25:03Speaker 1: But in that moment, just Heather's face was just repulfed
- 25:07Speaker 1: by ses the dsw vibes, and they were they were.
- 25:12Speaker 3: Like some cork I don't know what. They looked like
- 25:16Speaker 3: cork wedges but with a heel.
- 25:18Speaker 2: Oh, and they think they were like a nude.
- 25:21Speaker 3: Udel like you know, I don't even want to say,
- 25:24Speaker 3: but because oh my god, it was just.
- 25:26Speaker 1: A bad look. And they did that on purpose, and
- 25:29Speaker 1: you know, it was like bad hair color. It was
- 25:32Speaker 1: before Jen got her look together. She's got her look together.
- 25:34Speaker 1: She looks great. She's adorable. We love to see it.
- 25:38Speaker 1: But that picture was, Yeah, we love a glow up.
- 25:41Speaker 1: Everybody has a glow up. Everybody gets a glow up.
- 25:47Speaker 2: Timber brings up how Gretchen had reached.
- 25:50Speaker 1: Out to her daughter. I don't like that either, Yeah,
- 25:53Speaker 1: do you?
- 25:53Speaker 2: So we get into semantics later, which we can talk
- 25:56Speaker 2: about in.
- 25:56Speaker 1: This, don't we all scene, Right, what is this show
- 25:59Speaker 1: without Mantis?
- 26:00Speaker 2: But it just seems like Gretchen was perpetually living in
- 26:04Speaker 2: the comments her entire time off.
- 26:06Speaker 1: The show, which I don't like. Let it live on
- 26:08Speaker 1: the show.
- 26:09Speaker 2: Well, I mean, do you think she has been trying
- 26:12Speaker 2: to get back on the show for a year? Is
- 26:13Speaker 2: that why she's in these comments? Like what?
- 26:15Speaker 1: Yeah, it's kind of like how Camille will comment. And
- 26:18Speaker 1: no shade to Camille, but you know you do that
- 26:21Speaker 1: to you know, keep your keep your presence alive. I
- 26:25Speaker 1: wonder what this title. If I was sitting there as
- 26:27Speaker 1: I was taking my notes on this, I was like,
- 26:29Speaker 1: I should I hope they titled this fucking episode hot pot.
- 26:33Speaker 2: Maybe I didn't even I didn't even see what they
- 26:36Speaker 2: titled it.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Hard the first off, I've never been to a hot pot,
- 26:40Speaker 1: but I've heard all about it. But it doesn't look
- 26:42Speaker 1: like my vibe. All right, So the girls arrived for
- 26:45Speaker 1: Katie's hot pot lunch and tammer reintroduces herself to Gretchen
- 26:49Speaker 1: and immediately they get at it, and I'm just like.
- 26:52Speaker 2: Eh, well, first we have to do the Shannon and
- 26:57Speaker 2: Katie think first, because they we get to the word lets.
- 27:00Speaker 1: The bomb out that why do I like Gina so much?
- 27:05Speaker 2: It must be the vocal fry. I don't know.
- 27:07Speaker 1: I think it's just the jersey.
- 27:09Speaker 2: Is it for as long?
- 27:10Speaker 1: Wherever the folks she's from. I don't know. I just
- 27:12Speaker 1: think it's funny. Hi, Brad, I don't know. I love it.
- 27:15Speaker 1: I kind of like it.
- 27:16Speaker 2: Can you do the rest of this podcast in your
- 27:18Speaker 2: Gina impersonation? That's not even Cartman meets like family guys.
- 27:27Speaker 1: I know that that's what they say. I sound like,
- 27:29Speaker 1: is Cartman? Do they? Yes?
- 27:31Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 27:31Speaker 1: Now yeah, now yeah now, And I'm like, okay, that's fine.
- 27:36Speaker 2: Wait I didn't know that, but now that's hilarious.
- 27:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I thought it was more Bart Simpson. Yeah, but
- 27:41Speaker 1: it's fine.
- 27:54Speaker 2: But in a flashback we get where Katie admits that
- 27:57Speaker 2: she did call the blogger with camera. Yeah, and it's
- 28:00Speaker 2: those kind of scenes for me as of you or
- 28:01Speaker 2: I'm like, why in you? I would love for you
- 28:04Speaker 2: to give me a reasoning. Why is that? Did we
- 28:07Speaker 2: not get the actual scene there? Because I felt like
- 28:09Speaker 2: it was a vital information.
- 28:11Speaker 1: You mean, why did you only just get that one segment?
- 28:13Speaker 2: We just got the little bit of a flashback.
- 28:14Speaker 1: Yeah, because that's the only piece that worked, so that
- 28:17Speaker 1: you have to a lot of times, you have to
- 28:19Speaker 1: talk around everything in order to get one sentence that
- 28:22Speaker 1: explains what we've been doing for three hours. Okay, and
- 28:26Speaker 1: that's the most important thing. And I love a flashback
- 28:29Speaker 1: because it does remind the viewers, Hey, she really did
- 28:32Speaker 1: say this.
- 28:33Speaker 2: Well that was the first time she admitted it though, right,
- 28:36Speaker 2: But do you think it kind of gets brushed over
- 28:39Speaker 2: then that we don't really get the full effect of
- 28:41Speaker 2: like oh shit Katie was lying.
- 28:43Speaker 1: Well, uh, if you don't get the oh shit Katy
- 28:47Speaker 1: was lying from the statement, I don't know how I
- 28:49Speaker 1: can help you. Okay, do you see what I'm saying,
- 28:51Speaker 1: Like I don't really need much more than that my personality,
- 28:54Speaker 1: Like when I look at shit, I'm like, that's what
- 28:55Speaker 1: I was looking for the entire fucking time.
- 28:57Speaker 2: Mm hmm.
- 28:58Speaker 1: Now I know you are a liar.
- 29:00Speaker 2: Well and then she lies again.
- 29:01Speaker 1: Yeah, which this is a problem for that cast, I mean,
- 29:05Speaker 1: those those women in that group, Like I feel as
- 29:09Speaker 1: if you know you're gonna for me. I know that,
- 29:14Speaker 1: and I think I speak for my cast, like you're
- 29:16Speaker 1: starting to put we would put Katie at arm's length,
- 29:18Speaker 1: like no, not talking to you about anything. Not It's
- 29:23Speaker 1: gonna be real surface with you, well, very surface with you,
- 29:28Speaker 1: because there's a certain and people don't understand this, like
- 29:32Speaker 1: there's a certain level of trust amongst a group of
- 29:36Speaker 1: women when you film this show. Now, I don't know
- 29:38Speaker 1: how it's done in Orange County. I do know how
- 29:40Speaker 1: it's done in Beverly Hills. I know that the older
- 29:45Speaker 1: cast mates in Atlanta. You know, even though it looked
- 29:48Speaker 1: like they all hated each other and were ready to
- 29:50Speaker 1: kill each other, there were some of them that were
- 29:51Speaker 1: really close. You can't speak for New York. I know
- 29:53Speaker 1: Derrenda's cool, and you know, and Delores and Melissa, like
- 29:57Speaker 1: you know, I you just don't trust somebody like that.
- 30:00Speaker 1: But here's does that make sense?
- 30:03Speaker 2: Yeah, I understand it. I understand what you're saying, and
- 30:05Speaker 2: I get I think it's different because you're in it.
- 30:08Speaker 2: But watching it, it almost feels like because I feel
- 30:11Speaker 2: like we're going to a point where they're going to
- 30:13Speaker 2: ice Katie out right, and it feels like that gives
- 30:16Speaker 2: the cast almost too much power in reality show situation
- 30:20Speaker 2: where they're dictating who can film.
- 30:22Speaker 1: No, No, Katie shouldn't have done it. You can do
- 30:26Speaker 1: it once, you can't do it multiple times. Yeah, you
- 30:28Speaker 1: can make a mistake, you can snubble stumble, but you
- 30:31Speaker 1: cannot repeatedly do this. When you see this done as,
- 30:35Speaker 1: it's not about who can film, it's about that person
- 30:38Speaker 1: over there, I don't want to work with that. Not
- 30:40Speaker 1: I don't want to work with that. That's not fair.
- 30:43Speaker 1: But like, I'm not revealing. Why would I be vulnerable
- 30:46Speaker 1: in front of that person? Why why would I say anything?
- 30:50Speaker 1: Why would I reveal anything that's you know, important to
- 30:54Speaker 1: me to her?
- 30:57Speaker 2: I get that?
- 30:57Speaker 1: Does that make sense? You have to trust the women
- 31:00Speaker 1: that are in the circle with you, right, But in.
- 31:02Speaker 2: The world of housewives, isn't it part of the job.
- 31:07Speaker 2: We'll call it to almost use I get what Katie did.
- 31:13Speaker 2: So Katie recorded somebody without their knowledge, which is very shady,
- 31:16Speaker 2: and then she went to a blogger to talk shit
- 31:18Speaker 2: about Tamera. But haven't all housewives at some point, No,
- 31:23Speaker 2: not done something like that, but done something wrong towards
- 31:26Speaker 2: another member of the show, of the cast.
- 31:30Speaker 1: Of course we have. But you can't repeatedly do it
- 31:34Speaker 1: to every member of the cast and expect these women
- 31:36Speaker 1: to trust you. She's picked off every single one of them.
- 31:41Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, I just think you can't.
- 31:44Speaker 1: What she's doing is isolating herself. She's going to be
- 31:48Speaker 1: alone on an island with a bunch of what blogger
- 31:51Speaker 1: friends Woody and also like production doesn't like that shit,
- 31:57Speaker 1: don't be ratting.
- 31:59Speaker 2: Well, it's a show to show it destroyed Jersey the
- 32:01Speaker 2: blogger situation.
- 32:02Speaker 1: You can't do that, Like, we're not that's not what
- 32:05Speaker 1: we're here for, right.
- 32:07Speaker 2: I hear you. I'm glad to get your perspective because
- 32:09Speaker 2: I feel like as viewers we see it as like
- 32:11Speaker 2: a not I'm not I don't like the word. I
- 32:13Speaker 2: don't one gang up or anything but us. It was
- 32:18Speaker 2: like on Vanderpump Rules almost where they didn't want to
- 32:20Speaker 2: film with Tom and it's like, well, you're on a
- 32:22Speaker 2: show together. You should be filming with the people on
- 32:24Speaker 2: the show, is what I'm trying to say, Like, yeah, you.
- 32:26Speaker 1: Should, but you should also trust the people that you're
- 32:30Speaker 1: filming with that that's what they're going to do is
- 32:32Speaker 1: film with you and not go another route and tell
- 32:35Speaker 1: the show gotcha. You see what I'm saying. Like if
- 32:38Speaker 1: I got on the phone and I said, you're never
- 32:39Speaker 1: going to believe what happened on Friday Night, which I could,
- 32:42Speaker 1: but I don't if I got on the phone and said, ooh,
- 32:45Speaker 1: you're never going to believe what happened on Friday night
- 32:46Speaker 1: with the new people. Is that cool?
- 32:51Speaker 2: No? But that's exactly what I would prefer you start
- 32:54Speaker 2: doing with me.
- 32:54Speaker 1: I cannot do that contractually. I cannot do that. And
- 33:00Speaker 1: and it's just you put yourself in weird places like
- 33:03Speaker 1: it's not worth it. Just enjoy the show for what
- 33:06Speaker 1: it is, yeah, you know, and then you have your
- 33:08Speaker 1: chance to lay everybody out later.
- 33:11Speaker 2: So your girl, Gina Cartman reveals the information that Katie
- 33:19Speaker 2: recorded Shannon at the gallery shoot right yep, which was
- 33:23Speaker 2: told to her by Tama Judge. So do you was
- 33:27Speaker 2: Gina just doing her job there? Like? Do you think
- 33:29Speaker 2: she was all of it?
- 33:30Speaker 1: Gina brought Katie into the group, which gives her the
- 33:32Speaker 1: perfect reason to say this. Tamra did the right thing
- 33:35Speaker 1: by handing it off to Gina because it's a softer
- 33:37Speaker 1: delivery than Tarma. Doesn't look like the hammer all the time, right,
- 33:41Speaker 1: and maybe Gina, you know, look, nobody feels good in
- 33:44Speaker 1: this situation, so I don't really care about that. That's
- 33:46Speaker 1: pretty like kind of the way it is.
- 33:49Speaker 2: I'll tell you what pissed me off is Shannon, I
- 33:54Speaker 2: need you to stay in the scene, like, oh, don't leave.
- 33:56Speaker 1: That bothered me, just didn't bother you. Yes, I didn't
- 34:00Speaker 1: like it either. I didn't like it either. I did
- 34:03Speaker 1: not like it either.
- 34:05Speaker 2: Why are you I don't even understand why you were allowed?
- 34:08Speaker 2: Like this is where I'm like production should have stepped
- 34:10Speaker 2: in and be like, can you at least have the
- 34:12Speaker 2: conversation of like, why why did you record me? What
- 34:17Speaker 2: were you was it?
- 34:18Speaker 1: What was the gain? What were you going to do
- 34:20Speaker 1: with that? Why would you do that? What made you
- 34:21Speaker 1: think that was okay?
- 34:22Speaker 2: Hey?
- 34:22Speaker 1: You knew I was in a lawsuit with these people,
- 34:24Speaker 1: like what are you doing?
- 34:25Speaker 2: And I think it was your girl who was like
- 34:28Speaker 2: I love.
- 34:28Speaker 1: The way you said I stick up for Gina once.
- 34:32Speaker 1: She's my fucking girl. Hey, Gina, just so you know,
- 34:34Speaker 1: I don't stick up for anybody's a Shannon.
- 34:37Speaker 2: You laving shows growth? I'm like, no, it doesn't show growth.
- 34:41Speaker 2: It shows that she's afraid of being outed as someone
- 34:44Speaker 2: who's a lunatic off camera, is my opinion.
- 34:47Speaker 1: Well, I also think that it's just not doing your job.
- 34:49Speaker 1: It's unique to be two things, a lunatic off camera,
- 34:52Speaker 1: on camera, all of it.
- 34:53Speaker 2: I mean, we know Shannon likes to run away from
- 34:55Speaker 2: multiple situations.
- 34:56Speaker 1: Well I'm tired of housewives running Shannon, everybody including my own.
- 35:03Speaker 2: Oh have we had a run off this season?
- 35:05Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 35:07Speaker 2: Amy, But yeah, So Gretchen takes this as an opportunity
- 35:14Speaker 2: to say who told you that? And and Gin it's like,
- 35:17Speaker 2: well Tamara didn't in. Gretchen is of course uses it
- 35:19Speaker 2: to villainize Tamra.
- 35:20Speaker 1: And then they get into it. And I didn't need
- 35:22Speaker 1: that from you, Gretchen. I wanted to like you for
- 35:24Speaker 1: five minutes. I know why you're there, and you're going
- 35:26Speaker 1: to get your moment and you're gonna do a great job.
- 35:29Speaker 1: But just this one hot pot thing, like, let this
- 35:32Speaker 1: just be between the women that were actually there. Does
- 35:34Speaker 1: that make sense? Yeah, just let it be between the
- 35:37Speaker 1: cast that was there.
- 35:38Speaker 2: Well, she just couldn't wait to get in Tamar's ass.
- 35:40Speaker 1: Right exactly, And you have all the time in the
- 35:42Speaker 1: world to get in her ass.
- 35:43Speaker 2: Can you do me a big favor? God to camera?
- 35:47Speaker 2: Do you remember what Gretchen said when Tamara said she
- 35:51Speaker 2: reached out to her daughter and Gretchen said, she just
- 35:53Speaker 2: commented on a Facebook it's become a big meme on
- 35:56Speaker 2: the internet.
- 35:57Speaker 1: Is it in my notes? What did she say?
- 35:59Speaker 2: She goes, it's not the same thing, and then they
- 36:03Speaker 2: stood on her face for like a good eighty five seconds.
- 36:06Speaker 1: No, I can't do other people's lines.
- 36:08Speaker 2: I think. I think you've already done a very good
- 36:11Speaker 2: Gina today.
- 36:12Speaker 1: Yeah, but that was because I wanted to do.
- 36:16Speaker 2: You think it's the same thing. No, so you don't,
- 36:19Speaker 2: So you disagree with Tamara. So Tamra says Gretchen reached
- 36:23Speaker 2: out to her daughter, and Gretchen says, I commented on
- 36:25Speaker 2: a Facebook post.
- 36:26Speaker 1: Yeah you should. Yes, bottom line is reaching out. It
- 36:29Speaker 1: could be conceived. Yes, I can see why Tamara said,
- 36:32Speaker 1: you reached out to her. Don't need to be commenting
- 36:34Speaker 1: to kids and stuff like that.
- 36:35Speaker 2: No, it's weird behavior in my opinion, especially when they're
- 36:38Speaker 2: that I mean. But so then Gretchen brings up, which.
- 36:42Speaker 1: I'm tired of, the fifteen year old beef. I find
- 36:45Speaker 1: something new. I'm sorry, find something in the present day,
- 36:48Speaker 1: because you had to send me that whole thing as
- 36:50Speaker 1: to why these two fell out, And personally, I don't
- 36:52Speaker 1: really care because it's just too far along. Nobody in
- 36:55Speaker 1: the like the point of and I believe the point
- 36:59Speaker 1: of the show season after season, you fall out, you
- 37:02Speaker 1: make up, you fall out, you make up. You have
- 37:03Speaker 1: different friendships, different experiences, is because you stay in the moment.
- 37:07Speaker 1: I don't want to see Gretchen enter with fifteen year
- 37:09Speaker 1: old beef. I don't care, right, I'm trying just to
- 37:13Speaker 1: get through yesterday.
- 37:15Speaker 2: Let me give you a little background though. So in
- 37:17Speaker 2: twenty twenty three, the People magazine article came out where
- 37:20Speaker 2: Slave's ex wife Michelle had revealed that he owed all
- 37:23Speaker 2: this money in back child support and he wasn't helping
- 37:26Speaker 2: with their sons, their son's medical.
- 37:30Speaker 1: Bills, right, which is look, that's a tragedy.
- 37:32Speaker 2: But we covered it. I will say, as a producer
- 37:35Speaker 2: on this podcast, Tama has not wanted, she doesn't even
- 37:39Speaker 2: want to bring Gretchen up, but it was a big headline,
- 37:41Speaker 2: so we covered it and she spoke her mind about
- 37:44Speaker 2: it and then donated to the GoFundMe. And that's what
- 37:46Speaker 2: Gretchen is bringing up on the show now, is saying
- 37:48Speaker 2: that Tama talks about him badly on the podcast, and
- 37:51Speaker 2: it's like she was covering a People Magazine story. Well
- 37:54Speaker 2: she does.
- 37:55Speaker 1: Yeah, that does fall in her job.
- 37:57Speaker 2: I do want to talk ask you. So Gretchen says
- 38:00Speaker 2: in her talking head that Tama doesn't know how to
- 38:03Speaker 2: have a real friendship.
- 38:06Speaker 1: We know, I don't know because I'm very not surface level,
- 38:12Speaker 1: but you know she's an acquaintance. I don't know Tamara
- 38:15Speaker 1: very well. I can't say that I know Teddy is
- 38:18Speaker 1: friends with Tamara.
- 38:20Speaker 2: Right, which I can say, I think since you know her, right,
- 38:24Speaker 2: I know Tamara. We have a group chat with Teddy.
- 38:26Speaker 2: I'm very close friends with Teddy. I don't know if
- 38:28Speaker 2: people know this. We didn't really say it, but I've
- 38:31Speaker 2: also gotten to know Tamara very well working on the show.
- 38:33Speaker 2: Tama and Teddy have a real friendship, like I've seen.
- 38:38Speaker 1: Yeah, they really do, right.
- 38:39Speaker 2: So I don't Gretchen. I think Gretchen is just she's
- 38:42Speaker 2: been so wanting to get back on this show and
- 38:46Speaker 2: she thinks her job is to just go after Tamara incessantly.
- 38:50Speaker 1: Well, she's back on the show, and she did her job,
- 38:53Speaker 1: which was immediately go after Tamra. And it's just I mean,
- 38:57Speaker 1: and we'll see where that goes.
- 38:58Speaker 2: Did she do the job?
- 38:59Speaker 3: Well?
- 39:00Speaker 2: Do you think.
- 39:02Speaker 1: I think she got her moments in. Do you.
- 39:09Speaker 2: I have my own reservations about Gretchen for other things
- 39:14Speaker 2: that I don't need to talk about on this podcast.
- 39:16Speaker 1: Okay, well then that can color your opinion.
- 39:19Speaker 2: There is one final thing I think we should discuss.
- 39:22Speaker 1: The hardboiled egg that wasn't a hard boiled egg.
- 39:25Speaker 2: Please Jesus, since he's been a part of this podcast,
- 39:28Speaker 2: can he please help us with embily sticking shit.
- 39:33Speaker 1: Yeah. I just think it's a it's a I'm going
- 39:35Speaker 1: to eat it on the way home.
- 39:38Speaker 2: What restaurant would serve a hard boiled egg with the
- 39:41Speaker 2: shell still on it?
- 39:43Speaker 1: Maybe a hometown buffet. I don't know, you know, I
- 39:47Speaker 1: thought I've never been to hot pot, so I thought
- 39:49Speaker 1: it was a hard boiled egg. I would have been
- 39:51Speaker 1: the dumb dumb that thought it was. I didn't know
- 39:53Speaker 1: you had to cook it?
- 39:54Speaker 2: Who you Have you ever tried to crack a hardboiled
- 39:57Speaker 2: egg and peel it? It takes a good five minutes hues.
- 40:01Speaker 1: Yeah, but some are easier than others. I just think
- 40:03Speaker 1: that I would have. I just I'm not going to
- 40:05Speaker 1: put a hard boiled egg or a real egg into
- 40:07Speaker 1: my purse for later on the drive home.
- 40:11Speaker 2: I just want to know how often you go to
- 40:13Speaker 2: hometown buffet.
- 40:14Speaker 1: I've never been to hometown buffet, but if I would go,
- 40:18Speaker 1: just I like a buffet.
- 40:20Speaker 2: Have you been to the Golden Corral?
- 40:22Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 40:22Speaker 2: Oh yeah, oh.
- 40:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm telling you there was a Golden Corral by
- 40:27Speaker 1: my house when I was little and Betty Donna. That
- 40:32Speaker 1: was like the names that they would call up to
- 40:33Speaker 1: come get your meals. Betty Donna, yep, I remember the
- 40:38Speaker 1: Golden Cral. I can't believe they're still around.
- 40:40Speaker 2: Wait to come get your meals.
- 40:42Speaker 1: Yeah, that was like what they would do to the
- 40:43Speaker 1: server to come get there. The thing clearly we went
- 40:46Speaker 1: to the Golden Corral after church.
- 40:49Speaker 2: Oh, we went to Applebee's.
- 40:51Speaker 1: I like an apple Bee's. I like an Applebee's with
- 40:55Speaker 1: those loaded desserts or whatever.
- 40:57Speaker 2: Oh they have the well now I'm thinking of bjsabazuki.
- 41:01Speaker 2: I mean, guys, I'm so glad that we could end
- 41:03Speaker 2: this talking about all of the foods that we would
- 41:06Speaker 2: be eating.
- 41:07Speaker 1: Yeah. Instead of hot pot, I'm gonna tell you, we
- 41:09Speaker 1: could have gone to the cracker Barrel.
- 41:11Speaker 2: Oh don't get me.
- 41:14Speaker 1: Chicken fried steak going well, I enjoyed this episode, and yeah,
- 41:20Speaker 1: I mean, I what my great takeaway is? You know,
- 41:23Speaker 1: I need to see Heather do brow more. Gina was cute.
- 41:27Speaker 1: Gretchen's hair is blonde. She came in to do what
- 41:31Speaker 1: she needed to do. Tamera, they're giving you the show.
- 41:34Speaker 1: In my opinion, I don't care what anybody says. Emily,
- 41:38Speaker 1: I'm really sorry for Luke and you're in Shane's journey
- 41:42Speaker 1: and I'm sure it'll be all worked out. And sending
- 41:45Speaker 1: you all the best. Jen, glad you got the glow up.
- 41:49Speaker 1: You look adorable. Katie bad way to isolate yourself on
- 41:57Speaker 1: the show.
- 41:59Speaker 2: And hit up DSW for all of your cork.
- 42:04Speaker 1: My god, DSW hit us up, send us some dollars.
- 42:06Speaker 1: We might wear those cork shoes you never know. Thank
- 42:09Speaker 1: you guys for listening to teas in a pod with myself,
- 42:12Speaker 1: Erica Jane and filling in for miss Teddy Mellencaan.
- 42:15Speaker 2: Matt Lafferty.
- 42:16Speaker 1: Thanks guys, see you next time.
