  First up, you started as BK Wolfman railing against God back

  in the day. What was the biggest aha moment

  that made you pivot from hardcore atheist to this

  reasonable God vibe? Well, there was many, many

  moments, but there was a big one, a personal experience that
• 2:56
  I had that brought me to the faith of God.

  I spent a lot of time debating and having discussions behind
• 3:04
  the scenes as well as in public with Christians and people of
• 3:08
  other religions. Christianity seem to sell it

  better than everybody else. It's extremely difficult to

  really get into the Hindu religion when a lot of those
• 3:18
  folks unfortunately can't speak English.

  So there's that. There's that culture divide type
• 3:24
  of thing, but Christians perform some really good arguments.

  They got me to the point where I was least open to the idea of a
• 3:33
  higher power, but it wasn't until a big personal experience
• 3:37
  happened where I accepted Jesus Christ.

  Next one, folks. Online, I didn't, I didn't

  answer what that big personal experience was.

  So you want to hear that, right? Oh yeah, of course I want to

  hear. Let's pause the interview for a

  SEC. Go ahead, Tell me about that big

  moment. All right, Well, what happened
• 4:18
  was is that I was my wife is bringing our second child into
• 4:23
  the world and our daughter was said to not going to make it.
• 4:29
  The doctor said that she was sick, she had meningitis that
• 4:32
  resulted in hydrocephalus. They believed that she was going
• 4:35
  to die. There wasn't no way to deal with
• 4:38
  it back in the day whenever this happened.
• 4:41
  And So what happened was, is that, you know, I had talked to
• 4:45
  some Christians and they said, bro, why don't you try praying?
• 4:48
  Why don't you try doing something?
• 4:49
  You don't have to do it in front of us or anything, but you know,
• 4:53
  it looks like you're at the end of your rope on this.
• 4:56
  So I did. I was a desperate father.
• 4:59
  And what I did was when I prayed to God, I said, God, if you're
• 5:05
  there, if you actually exist and you're listening to me and I
• 5:09
  prayed specifically to Jesus Christ, I said I will give up my
• 5:13
  atheism. I'll throw away all my atheist
• 5:15
  videos. I will delete them.
• 5:17
  Of course people still grabbed copies and all that stuff like
• 5:20
  that and still run them nowadays, but I basically made a
• 5:25
  deal with God. I said if my daughter walks out
• 5:28
  of this and she's okay, I'll get rid of atheism, I'll never go
• 5:32
  back and basically made a deal with God.
• 5:35
  So what ends up happening is a couple days later, doctors come
• 5:38
  to the room and they say your daughter is going to be fine.
• 5:42
  She's going to get to go home with you.
• 5:45
  She will have to wear a shunt for some time.
• 5:47
  And there's that. She's now 20 something years old
• 5:51
  and she's doing great. She made it through high school.
• 5:55
  She's intelligent, she's smart, she's strong.
• 5:58
  Hell, I would even argue that she's stronger than her mom and
• 6:01
  dad. She's actually wrapped her arms
• 6:03
  around me and picked me up in the air before, and I'm a big
• 6:07
  boy. So there you go.

  That's the big personal experience that I had the deal I
• 6:12
  made with God, and no matter what happens to me, I'm never
• 6:15
  going to go back to anything else or any other religion.

  that's the kind of story people live their whole lives chasing a

  happy ending to your daughter doing great now, man, that's

  So after that miracle or answered prayer, you go full

  throttle Christian. But here's when people keep

  bringing up you've taken shots at guys like Matt Dillahunty

  Cosmic Skeptic said some pretty spicy stuff.

  They say you're a grifter who flipped for clicks.

  How do you respond to that? Well, the reason why they

  believe that is because they themselves are grifters.

  They're themselves have admitted that they were like Matt

  Dillahunty claims to be a preacher or was a preacher and

  then he flipped over to atheism. Atheism on the Internet,

  especially YouTube, is very profitable.

  If I were in it for the money, I would have remained an atheist.

  I would have just simply said I don't believe in God and I could

  have a Patreon right now with thousands and thousands of

  dollars. I was the most popular atheist

  in my time whenever I was a former atheist, so I was going

  nowhere but up. Money would have been flowing in

  had I stayed that way. So I actually lost publicly

  reputation, dragged to the mud, people wanting to kill me,

  everything else. So yeah, it was a big move.

  And I knew when I was praying to God, he realized the sacrifice I

  was making. Fair enough, and honestly from

  what I can see you have sacrificed a ton.

  Your old audience, your safety, probably some mental bandwidth

  too. I mean, turning your back on

  what could have been easy cash. That doesn't exactly scream

  more theology heavy. You talk a lot about reasonable

  faith. You don't buy blind belief.

  actually been swallowed in the last 20 years and then spit up

  on the beach. So that is actually possible.

  over 4 oceans worth of water underground.

  And as you know, the Bible says it didn't just rain, it actually

  angry at me and they insulted me.

  They mocked me. They even claimed that I must

  something. I tried to explain, but I did

  get a couple handfuls of atheists who actually still love

  me to this day and respect me. And some of them have actually

  converted over because they believe my arguments are sound

  as well as from what they've listened to by other people.

  So, yeah, some of them, As far as the others, they call me a
• 14:40
  backstabber, obviously because I converted.

  I didn't just get up there and, you know, tell them all that I
• 14:47
  didn't want to be friends or anymore.

  I didn't care. In fact, I tried as hard as I
• 14:52
  could for a couple years to continue to be friendly.

  I said, look, just because I believe in God doesn't mean I'm

  different. I still care and I still love

  you all. But well, they weren't going to

  have it. They treated it like a hardcore

  religion, like a cult, and they didn't want an apostate.

  That actually breaks my heart a little.

  A lot of people want to know if you could go back and talk to

  atheist Brett before the prayer, before the hospital room, what

  would you say to him? Well, unfortunately I was deeply

  into atheism. Had I not had that personal

  experience, I'm not sure where I'd be right now unless God

  showed me a different way or whatever.

  Honestly, if it wasn't for me getting kicked on my ass because

  of what happened, who knows who I'd be today.

  This is really, really built my character and it's really shown

  friends were. It's amazing what happens

  whenever you take apart or accept the positive change in

  your life that other people don't agree with, and how

  quickly they'll throw you into the mud or throw you basically

  People want to know, do you regret the person you were or

  are you proud of atheist Brett? Because without him, you don't

  get Miracle Brett. Well, atheist Brett was a man

  who basically grew up with tragedies and trauma and dealt

  with a lot of abuse. There was a lot of anger, there

  was a lot of animosity towards religion, but I actually thought

  I was the hero whenever I was an unbeliever.

  The reason why is because even now, I still see hypocrisy in a

  lot of different religion, including Christianity.

  I see a lot of thieves. I see child molesters,

  pedophiles, evil people even in the church.

  So I thought whenever I was going against all these people,

  I thought I was doing the right thing.

  I thought that, you know, whether there's a God or not,

  somebody has to stand up to the evil that can be found in

  religion. But I didn't just stop there.

  I went after problems that we have in the world.

  I went after other religions as where a majority of atheists

  only focus on Christianity. That seems to be the only

  religion they want to tear down. Sounds like atheist to you.

  There's Buddhism, no God but perfect peace At the end.

  You pick what's the most beautiful, mind blowing idea out

  there that you want to be true. Well first of all, Buddhism is

  basically atheism, just with meditation.

  And in the end, there is no peace.

  You just simply die and you're most likely you're going to die

  of old age, you're going to die because something horrific

  happened to you naturally. So unless someone kills you.

  So there's no peace in the end of that.

  As far as Hinduism, reincarnation, what's the point

  of reincarnating if you're not going to remember what your

  other lives were? I mean, really, if I come back

  But the most beautiful thing for me is Jesus actually

  representing what love is. He's basically a God who said I

  friends who tell me that I'm a warrior for God because I don't

  take any crap off of anybody. I'm pretty hardcore.

  Unfortunately. I still make some mistakes, like

  I cuss a lot. I still have some problems I

  need to work on. I'm not good at the whole love

  your enemy kind of thing, and the whole do unto others is you

  want to be treated while somebody's spitting in your

  face. I have a difficult challenge.

  Christianity is not an easy religion.

  It's not just as simple as sitting back believing.

  There's real fights, real struggles, and there's people

  out there who absolutely will hate you just simply for saying

  you're a Christian. And Jesus said something about

  that in the Bible, didn't he? They hated me.

  It's the toughest religion out there because it demands the

  mentally that I know that could cause me to be very angry, very

  if one day I end up passing away.

  My only dream is, is that my kids and my wife are protected

  and they're safe and that they're financially well off to

  where they can take care of themselves, including other

  people I care about. For me though, I'm not concerned

  about death or pain or suffering.

  I've seen it all, so there's that.

  If something horrific happened to my wife or kids, though, I am

  being honest, God knows my heart.

  It would probably break me. I'd probably crawl into a fetal

  Some Christians will say they could take anything, but I'm a

  human. I know my limits.

  And honestly, that's not weakness, Brett, that is love.

  The fact that you'd break means you're actually still in it, and
