- 0:24a touch. Lord, touch us today.
- 0:28Heal us today. God, I pray supernatural zeal
- 0:34upon this house. Blow a fresh wind in this house.
- 0:38God, rekindle the fire. Let us return back to our first
- 0:42love. Father, we just want more of
- 0:44you. Father, we want to hear your
- 0:48voice. We want to feel your presence.
- 0:50God, here we are. Send us.
- 0:54We're listening. God, speak to us, give us your
- 1:00heart, give us your mind, give us your motives, give us your
- 1:03emotions. Help us, Lord, to know that you
- 1:07are near and you're fighting our battles.
- 1:10We need not fear and we need not look for another.
- 1:15That you are the way, You're the truth and the life.
- 1:18God, We come under the yoke of Jesus Lord.
- 1:22Give us the burden of Jesus. Lord, I pray that you'll give us
- 1:28eyes to see the world all around us the way that you do.
- 1:31Give us a heart for this world, God.
- 1:35Let us not grow lazy and despondent.
- 1:39Help us not to live and defeat God, but help us to be
- 1:44victorious, Lord, as you are victorious on that cross, when
- 1:48you snatch the keys of death and hell.
- 1:51And God, we will not be cowards, we will not shrink back.
- 1:56We do not love our life so much as to shrink from death.
- 2:01Father, we overcome by the blood of the lamb.
- 2:04We overcome by the words of our testimony.
- 2:06Lord, help us to be faithful in the harvest.
- 2:10Help us to be faithful in the office.
- 2:12Help us to be faithful in the cafeteria.
- 2:15Help us to be faithful in the way.
- 2:17Help us to be faithful, God, with every single platform that
- 2:22you have given us, God, help us to speak the name of Jesus.
- 2:27There's something about that name.
- 2:31It's the only name that has the power to save.
- 2:35So God, we call upon the name of Jesus today.
- 2:38We believe that you resurrected him from the grave and you have
- 2:42him seated at the hand, right hand of you.
- 2:44God Almighty, Yahweh Hashem, we love you, give us your thoughts,
- 2:50give us your mind, teach us your ways.
- 2:52I decrease as you increase. I get out of the way.
- 3:00It's all about you. It's not about me.
- 3:04Jesus Christ, holy and precious and powerful name, I pray men.
- 3:11Well, let's start in verse one. And God remembered Noah and
- 3:19every living thing and all the cattle that was with him in the
- 3:22ark. And God made a wind to pass over
- 3:25the earth and the waters swagged.
- 3:32So you need to know here that God remembered Noah and he
- 3:37decided that it was time. He had already made it rain, and
- 3:43the waters burst up out of the ground for 40 days and 40
- 3:47nights. And then Noah was floating
- 3:51around for five months above the mountain tops and above the
- 3:57earth. And then you can see here that
- 4:01he's going to come to a resting place.
- 4:04But the total time that he spends in the ark is a full
- 4:08calendar year. And God finally says, OK, it's
- 4:13time he remembered him. And it was not that he ever
- 4:19forgot about him, but he was rekindling his promise and his
- 4:24covenant that he made with them to the fountains of the deep.
- 4:28And the windows of heaven were stopped in the rain from heaven
- 4:32was restrained three. And the waters returned from off
- 4:36the earth continually. And after the end of the 150
- 4:40days the waters were abated. So this is whenever dry land
- 4:45finally appeared. After this 150 days, you see
- 4:52that the ark landed on dry land four.
- 4:57And the ark rested in the seventh month and on the 17th
- 5:01day of the month upon the mount 10s of air at.
- 5:04So we can still look today at the maps and see where the arc
- 5:14landed. There is a definite outline for
- 5:18the measurements of where this ark SAT here at the border of
- 5:24all the nations. And this is how you can know
- 5:27that the Bible is trustworthy and true is because where the
- 5:30imprint of the ark sits today, it is at the crossroads of so
- 5:35many civilizations. And God is so good at what He
- 5:40does. And that is why we trust every
- 5:43single word and syllable. And when he says it landed on
- 5:47the Mount of Ararat, that's exactly where it landed.
- 5:51And there are many stories of people, even as early as the
- 5:58early 1900s saying that they had been there and visited it.
- 6:05Five And the waters decrease continuously until the 10th
- 6:09month and then the 10th month on the first day of the month,
- 6:13where the tops of the mountains seem.
- 6:15So finally we see that land is creeping and peeping up through
- 6:22the tops of the waters as the water starts to drain. 26 And it
- 6:30came to pass at the end of the 40 days that Noah opened the
- 6:34window of the ark which he had made.
- 6:37So he was able to open and close this vent hole at the top of the
- 6:43ark. 7 And he sent forth a Raven, which went forth to and
- 6:48fro until the waters were dried up from off the earth.
- 6:52So the Raven never came back. Perhaps the Raven, when it left
- 6:57it landed on the carcasses of the floating bodies and fed off
- 7:03of them. This scavenger unclean bird A
- 7:12and he sent forth the dove from him to see if the waters were
- 7:16abated from off the face of the ground.
- 7:19So here we could see this clean bird going out trying to find a
- 7:22resting place. 9 But the dove found no rest for the sole of
- 7:28her foot, and she returned to him in the ark, for the waters
- 7:32were on the face of the whole earth.
- 7:34Then he put forth his hand and took her, and pulled her in unto
- 7:39him in the ark. So as the dove, this clean bird
- 7:43went out, it tried to find some kind of resting place, could not
- 7:47find anywhere to rest, so it returned back.
- 7:51What an amazing thought. We see that the Ravens out there
- 7:55feeding on the dead carcasses, and then you can see here that
- 8:00this clean dove comes back to him.
- 8:04And we know that this is synonymous with creation.
- 8:09The story where the waters were over the face and we saw that
- 8:13the Holy Spirit was hovering over the waters.
- 8:16And then here you can see it again.
- 8:18God's doing a new thing. And we see the symbolism of the
- 8:23waters covering the earth. We see the dove floating over
- 8:27the waters. What an amazing thought. 10 And
- 8:32he stayed yet another seven days, and again he sent forth
- 8:36the dove out of the ark. 11 And the dove came in to him in the
- 8:41evening, and lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf plucked off.
- 8:47So Noah knew that the waters were abated from off of the
- 8:51earth. This dove goes out and finds
- 8:53this olive leaf and brings the olive leaf back to Noah.
- 8:58This is peace on earth, friends. This is a symbol of God putting
- 9:03the peace back on the earth. 12 And he stayed yet another seven
- 9:10days and sent forth the dove, which returned not again to him
- 9:14anymore. So the dove went out and finally
- 9:16found a resting place. And that is a picture of the
- 9:20Holy Spirit going out and searching and looking for a
- 9:24resting place, friends. And we invite him in, and we
- 9:28become the temple of God. 13 And it came to pass in the 600th 1st
- 9:37year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the
- 9:40waters were dried up from off the earth, and Noah removed the
- 9:44covering of the ark and looked and beheld the face of the
- 9:48ground was dry. So finally, after being landed
- 9:54on Ararat and he's in there for a full calendar year, finally,
- 9:59it's time. It's time to come out of that.
- 10:03And it seems as if Noah had lost no animals through death inside
- 10:09of that ark. He sent the Raven out, He sent
- 10:12the dove out. But by and large, here he is
- 10:16with all of the animals intact. 14 And in the second month, and
- 10:23on the 7th and 20th day of the month, the earth was dry. 15 And
- 10:30God spoke to Noah saying, Go forth of the ark, you, your
- 10:34wife, your sons, your son's wives with you.
- 10:37So God's saying, go be fruitful and multiply and repopulate
- 10:43planet Earth. 17 bring forth with you every living thing that
- 10:49is with you of all flesh, both fowl, cattle, the creeping thing
- 10:54that creeps on the earth, and that they may breed abundantly
- 10:58in the earth and be fruitful and multiply upon the earth.
- 11:01These are the same instructions that he gave Adam and Eve, and
- 11:05now he's giving it to Noah and his three sons and their wives,
- 11:09and he's telling them to repopulate.
- 11:11And we can trace our lineage. We can trace our genealogy and
- 11:16ancestors back to these four men.
- 11:19What an amazing thought. 18 Noah went forth, and his sons, and
- 11:26his wife and his son's wives with them. 19 Every beast, every
- 11:32creeping thing, and every fowl, and whatsoever creeps upon the
- 11:36earth after their kinds went forth out of the ark.
- 11:39Can you imagine the celebration? Can you imagine the joy that it
- 11:45must have been to be able to get out of this box that you've been
- 11:49living in for a whole year? Where it's raining down for 40
- 11:54days and 40 nights non-stop. You're floating above all of the
- 12:00habitable land for 150 days. You come finally to a halt on
- 12:06the top of a mountain at the crossroads of all civilization,
- 12:11and you're in it, friends, for another seven months until you
- 12:18can finally come out. What a joyous moment this must
- 12:22have been. Let's see how they celebrate. 20
- 12:26And Noah built an altar to the Lord and took of every clean
- 12:30beast and every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the
- 12:35altar. This is why you can see that
- 12:38Noah was saved because he walked with God.
- 12:41He was not even instructed to do this.
- 12:43This came out of his heart. And this was a costly gift unto
- 12:47God, a pleasing aroma unto God, because there was only 7 of each
- 12:53of these. And he took every one of them
- 12:56and sacrificed them, every kind, one of every kind friends.
- 13:02And he sacrificed them unto God. Let's see how God thought about
- 13:06it. 21 And the Lord smelled a sweet savour.
- 13:10And the Lord said in his heart, I will not again curse the
- 13:14ground anymore for man's sake, for the imagination of man's
- 13:19heart is evil from his youth. Neither will I again strike any
- 13:24more everything living as I have done.
- 13:27So what an amazing thought, that God's making a covenant with not
- 13:31only mankind, but with the earth and with the animals.
- 13:38And he knows that we are evil. He knows that we are bent upon
- 13:43destruction. He knows that our thoughts are
- 13:47reprobate and we desperately need Jesus Christ to make us a
- 13:52new creation. And He promised that he will
- 13:54never flood the earth again. But we know that the second
- 13:57destruction is by fire. We'll end on 22 while the earth
- 14:06remains seat time and harvest, cold and heat, summer and
- 14:12winter, day and night shall not cease.
- 14:15So this is a promise from God. This is whenever we see seasons
- 14:21come in cold and heat. This is whenever we see
- 14:25everything get changed. No longer do we have the 900
- 14:30lifespan. We only have 120 years.
- 14:34And you see here that it's no longer a tropical environment.
- 14:39We see that even the dinosaurs are gone.
- 14:47And we see here that what we know of as animals and what we
- 14:52know of as life is established at this moment.
- 14:57What an amazing thought. What an amazing book.
- 14:59What an amazing God we serve. I hope you've been blessed by
- 15:03this amazing chapter in God's Word.
- 15:07I know, I sure have. I'm praying for every single one
- 15:16of you. I love you, God loves you.
- 15:28Stay in the word, Stay rooted and grounded in His word.
- 15:33He's so worthy. We'll see you back here
- 15:41tomorrow. God bless you.
