- 0:25[SPEAKER_00]: Teams in the AFC, former AFC, central division rivals, the Jaguars, and the Bengals.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_00]: What is keeping me up at night?
- 0:33[SPEAKER_00]: This is a new segment we're trying out here.
- 0:36[SPEAKER_00]: in preparation for games just to chat with y'all kind of open-ended a little bit about what is worrying me specifically about a matchup given matchup with the upcoming opponents and maybe what's not worrying me very much.
- 0:53[SPEAKER_00]: as well.
- 0:54[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm excited to get into it.
- 0:55[SPEAKER_00]: Let me know if you all like this concept in the comment section below.

- 1:04[SPEAKER_00]: Really helps support what we're doing here.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_00]: Get a hat like the one I'm wearing right now.
- 1:09[SPEAKER_00]: Lots of other fun stuff up on the site.
- 1:11[SPEAKER_00]: So I am worried about in a big way.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_00]: CB2 versus the Bingo's Big 3.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_00]: I think Tizen Campbell's gonna handle his business.
- 1:21[SPEAKER_00]: Does that
- 1:23[SPEAKER_00]: Jamar Chase won't get anything on him now.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_00]: But I think he's going to play in a way that puts himself in it.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to put himself in a position to be effective, to help.
- 1:35[SPEAKER_00]: That doesn't mean he's going to make every play.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_00]: Jamar Chase is unbelievable.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_00]: He begins his really good, right?
- 1:41[SPEAKER_00]: But what worries me is CB2, versus the Bingo's Big 3+.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_00]: And I say big three plus, because they all, beyond Joe Burrow, T-Higgins and Jamar Chase, they do have no offense, they do have Mike Giusek, they do have Chase Brown who can catch by his side of the backfield.
- 1:56[SPEAKER_00]: They have Andreio, she must, they've got some other guys, right?
- 2:02[SPEAKER_00]: CB2 though on the outside like I'm not worried about Jordan Lewis in the slot.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_00]: I'm worried about Jarian Jones.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_00]: Not because I don't think he can do it, but look, last year when he was really good for the Jaguars as a rookie, most of that was in the slot.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_00]: Most of his really effective play at FSU in 2023 was in the slot.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_00]: He's playing more outside and you know how much Travis Hunter are we going to see.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_00]: 15, 20 reps on defense?
- 2:35[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, it had six reps last week.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_00]: I do think they could have given him more and they would have given him more if they felt like they needed it.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think they felt like they needed it.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_00]: But just how does CB2 perform?
- 2:47[SPEAKER_00]: And one thing that does this inner dialogue, battling with myself here, thinking about this game, one thing that does give me
- 3:00[SPEAKER_00]: So more confidence is that they're not just putting their guys on an island very much.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_00]: And if there is a guy on an island, ever, it's probably going to be Tyson Campbell by design.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_00]: So it's not like Jarian is just straight up having a coverage of march ace or T. Higgins by himself.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_00]: It's within a zone concept on the defensive side of the ball more than likely.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_00]: You never know, but more than likely that will be the case which gives me a little bit more.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_00]: confidence.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_00]: But at the same time, like, Teterome and Macmillan, who they did a good job on for most of the game, I thought he had some garbage time stuff.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_00]: He was pretty good against against Jarring Jones and T-Higgins is a great player, Jamar Chase unbelievable.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_00]: I think Teterome
- 4:01[SPEAKER_00]: And I love T-higgins.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_00]: I wanted the Jaguars to draft to you, Higgins, I had a Climson.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_00]: I really do think that I think T-Mac has more talent.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think he's as polished or nuanced or experienced in the NFL, so that's one thing.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_00]: But the Jaguars are going to have their hands full with these receivers, man.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_00]: They will.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_00]: And no offense, Chase Brown.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_00]: This is a much better skill-position group.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_00]: And then you have the Joe Barrow of it all,
- 4:31[SPEAKER_00]: He can manipulate the defense.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_00]: He makes it difficult to dictate to him because he's so good at reading and reacting.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_00]: He's got great pocket presence.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_00]: He knows where to go with the hot reads.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_00]: Like, there's so much about his game that's just dialed in and everybody can point to, they didn't play well against the Browns last week.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_00]: Well, guess what?
- 4:54[SPEAKER_00]: The Browns still have a really good defense.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_00]: Really talented defense.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_00]: Probably a more, yeah, I'll say it, a more talented defense in the Jaguars.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_00]: I think the Jaguars might have a better coach defense in the Browns, but I think the Browns have a more talented defense in the Jaguars.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you have Miles Garrett.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_00]: I would take Denzel Ward over anybody in the Jaguars, defensive backfield.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_00]: Grant Delpit's a good player.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_00]: Greg Newsom's a good player.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_00]: I love them, draft and Carson, sweat shanger.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_00]: They've got a lot to work with.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_00]: So, and they know each other so well.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_00]: Like, Jim Schwartz versus the Bengals, that's always been a tough matchup for them.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm worried, you know, road game, first of this coaching staff's, you know, era, Liam Cohen era, road game, Cincinnati, Jaguar historically, lately, you have issues against Cincinnati, random weird things pop up.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_00]: If you're a Jaguar fan, I don't have to go into detail with that stuff, y'all know, but yeah, Joe Burrow, big three plus.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_00]: They were, they were, I mean, a good bit, just like their ability to take over the game, to capitalize on your mistakes, to make you have mistakes, stuff.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_00]: But I love anything he can't believe, I love what he did in week one.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_00]: though just an aberration because the Panthers are a bad offense.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_00]: A really bad offense in my opinion.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I don't know.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_00]: This is the Joe Burrow offense in Cincinnati.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_00]: I know Zack Taylor's that had coach in the offensive mastermind.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_00]: All that stuff.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_00]: Joe Burrow is the offensive mastermind.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_00]: And while I don't think that Zack Taylor does a lot.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_00]: consistently to elevate the pieces on this offense.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_00]: They don't really need elevating because Joburo is so smart and so cerebral and so good.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_00]: And because they have the best receiver to owe in football.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_00]: I worry a little bit that it's going to look like a lot different on defense this week.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_00]: I worry a little bit about it.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_00]: That doesn't mean I definitely believe that.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_00]: old predictions are not till tomorrow where we can kind of settle where I'm landing on some things.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_00]: But I worry about that for sure.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_00]: I worry that the Jaguar's defense was just playing like one of the worst five offenses in football and playing against probably one of the best ten offenses in football this week, maybe even higher than that.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't look anywhere near the same.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_00]: We're in about Cam Little on these kick-offs a little.
- 7:55[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he's been fantastic kicking the ball through the uprights, but the kick-offs, they gave the Panthers really good feel position a couple times last week because of kick-off blunders by Cam Little, and that can't happen against the bingles.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_00]: You can't give the bingles a short field.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_00]: Can't do it.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_00]: So that's worrisome for me.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_00]: have a lot of confidence in Cam Luttle's ability to rebound and get it together because you've never really seen those issues before, so yeah, still thinking about it.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_00]: FOIA, illness, talk to Liam Cohen was asked about it today, heard from them, he expects FOIA to be able to play, so it's not anything major, not anything super serious, but like is this like the flu game, how hydrated is he, how good does he feel for this?
- 8:52[SPEAKER_00]: His impact was critical for the Jaguar's last week.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's going to be critical for them to win this game for for a little couldn't apply well.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_00]: He led the Jaguars and tackles, he usually leaves the damn league in tackles.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_00]: Two forced turnovers, I mean, unbelievable player.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_00]: Lots stops, you know, getting tackles that matter.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_00]: So they need him to be, you know, at his best or damn close to it.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_00]: And then my final thing I'm super still thinking about is misthroes by Trevor, drops by receivers, offensive penalties, beaten your self up.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_00]: That's not gonna fly all the time.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_00]: Flu against the Panthers.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_00]: Again, the Bengals aren't the Panthers.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_00]: And the Bengals, they do suck in week two.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_00]: We know that they've never won a game in week two
- 9:53[SPEAKER_00]: I think that last week was a good start for them because they didn't play all that well consistently and they won the game in their division on the road.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_00]: They played good defense and we know the Brown's defense is really tough.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_00]: So like if you're looking at this from a real pessimistic point of view for the Jag wars,
- 10:22[SPEAKER_00]: Parinally, perinially, one of the best offenses.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_00]: You're going against Joe Burrow, those two receivers, and a defense that just played really well.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_00]: I kind of more land in, like I think that the Bingo's offense is better than they looked last week, and the Bingo's defense is worse than they looked last week.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_00]: I think the Brown's offense is horrible.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_00]: I have some nice pieces of that I like, but I think overall it's not a good offense.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_00]: I think their defense is great.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_00]: So I think you see the Bengals defense, not look as good as they look last week and the Bengals offense look a lot better than they did last week.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_00]: That still makes for a really tough ball game for the jack.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_00]: So we're gonna see, we got ball predictions coming up tomorrow.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_00]: Really appreciate y'all tuning in.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_00]: If you enjoy the content, please like and subscribe.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_00]: Y'all have good one.
