- 0:46what it's all about. Daytona Bike Week.

- 1:01the place to be. That's where all the hair bands,
- 1:04all the musical acts are going to be Just about every night.
- 1:07You're going to want to see the most beautiful, best quality
- 1:11motorcycles in all the world. Rusty, You know Rusty and
- 1:15Steven, they grew up with Rodger Penske.
- 1:18I say the Southern country custom motorcycles.
- 1:21They are the Ferraris of motorcycles.
- 1:24They are the Lamborghinis of motorcycles.
- 1:27They are the Corvettes of motorcycles.
- 1:30You know, Rusty and Steven, they're racers.
- 1:33They are going to build the best, most quality type
- 1:36motorcycles you have ever seen in your life.
- 1:39When I look at these motorcycles, I'm like, Steven,
- 1:43how do you keep doing this? I mean, he keeps one upping
- 1:47himself. Every motorcycle is
- 1:49unbelievable. Check them out.
- 1:52Once again, that's Ormond Beach, the broken spoke Hwy. 1.
- 1:59All right, and I will be there. I'll be down Tuesday next week
- 2:05and I'll be there from Tuesday to Friday next week.
- 2:08You know why I said it was a big week?
- 2:12Drink a coffee. I'm headed to CODA.
- 2:20What does CODA stand for? COTA respond right here.
- 2:28It stands for Circuit of the America.
- 2:31Man, I went last year and this track is a beautiful.
- 2:37I'll be going down early. John Scotone, my dear friend,
- 2:41great pilot, will be headed down Friday.
- 2:44Oh yeah, we're going to be doing Fandango inside the racetrack at
- 2:49the amphitheater Coda. That's where the Formula One
- 2:53boys race. But now NASCAR is there.
- 2:57Oh, yeah, one race at the Texas Motor Speedway and one at CODA.
- 3:02I'm going to be there. We're going to have all the
- 3:05first responders from that horrible tragedy at that.
- 3:11Pains me to say this. Do you all remember when the
- 3:15first responders went to where all those children lost their
- 3:18lives during that flood? Oh, yeah.
- 3:21We're going to have those first responders there.
- 3:23We're going to celebrate them. We're going to have like 6 of
- 3:27the best NASCAR drivers right there, Myself and Jose, That's
- 3:30going to be Friday night in the amphitheater.
- 3:33I think we're have like 4000 people there.
- 3:37So we're going to interview your top NASCAR drivers.
- 3:40Fandango, everybody, Friday night, Saturday, you're going to
- 3:45see me strolling through the garage area checking out these
- 3:49new Cup cars. I call them new.
- 3:51They're new to me. Been around a couple years now,
- 3:54the next Gen. So I'll see you all right there
- 3:57at Circuit of the America. Big weekend coming up for me.
- 4:00Of course, I'll leave there, come home on Sunday night after
- 4:04the race and I'll take off and I'll see you all at the broken
- 4:08spoke on Tuesday, Tuesday to Friday.
- 4:12Whoa. That was a mouthful, everybody.
- 4:15But it's a big weekend coming up.
- 4:19OK, Big story in the garage area switching subjects.
- 4:25Steve O'Donnell, president of NASCAR, he came into my hometown
- 4:32on Monday. He was here in Saint Louis.
- 4:35It was the Sports Business Journal or they call it SBJ
- 4:41Conference, and everybody was there.
- 4:43Ryan McGee from ESPN, he interviewed NASCAR president
- 4:53Steve O'Donnell. Steve O'Donnell.
- 4:58I had to do Steve's mixed up. Steve O'Donnell.
- 5:05I was very impressed with what Steve O'Donnell had to say.
- 5:11He says, you know what, we went through a lot, but we come out
- 5:14on the other side and part of NASCAR healing and heading in
- 5:19the right direction is Michael Jordan.
- 5:22Wow. I tell you what, I read the
- 5:25article. I read what Steve said.
- 5:28That was one for the ages. Of course, he said some things
- 5:32that he's has said before. You know, we got it wrong, we're
- 5:37making it right. But another big one that I
- 5:41thought was pretty incredible was he said the president of
- 5:46Fox, which is Eric Shanks. Eric Shanks told Steve O'Donnell
- 5:51your job is to get NASCAR back the way it needs to be.
- 5:56See, it's it's no secret. Everybody you know, you don't
- 5:59got to respond right here and go, well, they need to get
- 6:02NASCAR back. They know NASCAR knows the
- 6:07Sports Business Journal right here in St.
- 6:10Louis, MO No, I'm talking about they were in real.
- 6:13This wasn't a newspaper, it was a conference.
- 6:15They all were there. So by reading this article, it
- 6:24made me realize something I've always known, but here it was in
- 6:28print that NASCAR is going to get this this deal back.
- 6:33And boy, they they've got a hell of a start.
- 6:35So I want to thank Steve O'Donnell for, you know, telling
- 6:41some of his secrets. Listen, a lot of presidents,
- 6:45they don't go, yeah, president of Fox Sports called me up and
- 6:48said it's it's my job to get NASCAR back.
- 6:53Very impressed by that. OK, everybody, I want to end
- 7:02like this. Sat on the couch here yesterday
- 7:07for a little bit talking to Kim's mom.
- 7:10And I said, you know, Dee, I said I was up at Mcalister's
- 7:14Deli and I talked. I saw, oh, here we go.
- 7:18I saw, I have seen two people that were 80 years old at
- 7:24Mcalister's Deli and they both were on their phone and they
- 7:29weren't talking to each other. And she goes, well, Oh my God,
- 7:34this is horrible. We're addicted to our phones.
- 7:36I'm like Dee, you know, it's, it's not horrible.
- 7:39It's all good. We still talk.
- 7:42The cell phone is now the newspaper.
- 7:47People find joy in it. I, I hope people will spend time
- 7:55talking good about others like I do.
- 7:58I lead by example, I read, I discuss, and then I do this
- 8:03little 10 minute coffee with Kenny.
- 8:06In the mornings I'd probably spend 30 minutes reading a
- 8:11newspaper. So I I observe and I see what's
- 8:14going on around and then on every morning I do a little
- 8:18coffee with Kenny. If I didn't have this phone, I
- 8:23wouldn't be able to do coffee with Kenny.
- 8:25So let's celebrate this new technology.
- 8:29I think it brings people a lot of joy.
- 8:31Like anything, social media must be handled properly.
- 8:40Have a great Wednesday everybody.
- 8:42See in Daytona Beach, Ormond Beach, see right outside of
- 8:46Daytona, see Ormond Beach, go see Steven and the boys this
- 8:51Friday. Broken spoke Southern country
- 8:54customs and look at those beautiful motorcycles.
