- 0:00Speaker 1: The Woody Show eight seven foody phone numbers. You're calling
- 0:06Speaker 1: in text us over to two two nine eighty seven.
- 0:10Speaker 1: My name is whatdy? That is Greg Gory? Hi, what
- 0:13Speaker 1: menace is here?
- 0:14Speaker 2: What is that?
- 0:14Speaker 1: What he got Gina grad Sea Bass? Yeah, we got
- 0:17Speaker 1: Sammy Morgan is here? What phones are open? Eight seven
- 0:21Speaker 1: seven forty four? What he like? You mentioned? You got
- 0:24Speaker 1: the social media email email at the wood Show dot com.
- 0:26Speaker 1: So many different ways to get ahold of us after
- 0:29Speaker 1: ours voicemail which like after the show and before we
- 0:33Speaker 1: get back to next day, you can always leave us
- 0:35Speaker 1: what you got there. A lot of feedback on a
- 0:38Speaker 1: lot of random things that we've had here on the
- 0:41Speaker 1: show recently, for example, the Gina and Sea Bass men
- 0:44Speaker 1: said debates we got. We got a lot of feedback
- 0:47Speaker 1: on that.
- 0:47Speaker 2: Hey what love big time giving me a call about
- 0:50Speaker 2: this mensa debate going back and forth with Sea Bass
- 0:53Speaker 2: and uh, Gina, My two cents is Sea Bass, if
- 0:57Speaker 2: it is true that Gina was able to get in
- 1:00Speaker 2: through this psychology way, and like minutes is saying it's
- 1:02Speaker 2: a it's an issue, doesn't this just kind of take
- 1:05Speaker 2: down mensa overall? If people can get into it any
- 1:08Speaker 2: other way they want, or if they could sneak in,
- 1:11Speaker 2: as you would say, or cheat their way in. I
- 1:13Speaker 2: feel like that would take away from MENSA and make
- 1:16Speaker 2: it so much that you wouldn't really be proud of it.
- 1:18Speaker 2: But big time, very good.
- 1:21Speaker 1: It's a good point.
- 1:22Speaker 3: It does a good point.
- 1:24Speaker 4: That's why I'm being vigilant about this sort of thing,
- 1:27Speaker 4: because I know the high standards of MENSA. Yeah, folks
- 1:29Speaker 4: are not familiar. It's the top of two percent of
- 1:31Speaker 4: intelligences in the world roughly. And to the backstory, we're weird.
- 1:36Speaker 1: That we all ended up on one show together.
- 1:37Speaker 5: Yeah, And let the record show this is a one
- 1:40Speaker 5: sided debate and has been since the beginning.
- 1:43Speaker 3: I'm just trying to make sure that I had some questions,
- 1:46Speaker 3: that's that's all.
- 1:46Speaker 1: For many years, Sea Bass was the lone MENSA member
- 1:49Speaker 1: here on the show, and then his territory kind of
- 1:52Speaker 1: got infringed upon that when Gina joined the show, we
- 1:55Speaker 1: found out that she was also a member of a
- 1:58Speaker 1: card carrying member of MENSA.
- 2:00Speaker 3: Oh excellent, another excel individual.
- 2:02Speaker 5: For Sea Bass, it's all about identity and it's very
- 2:04Speaker 5: important for him to you know how he's always bagging
- 2:06Speaker 5: on people like Oh, you're so special, You're so unique
- 2:09Speaker 5: for ABC and D. But this is the thing that
- 2:11Speaker 5: I think Sea Bess has said, you know, makes him
- 2:13Speaker 5: special and unique?
- 2:14Speaker 1: Would that be?
- 2:15Speaker 3: That's sound there?
- 2:16Speaker 1: Yes, yes, yes, weout spending the entire segment on this.
- 2:20Speaker 1: We'll move on to some of the other after hours
- 2:22Speaker 1: voicemails eight seven seven forty four. Woodie, it came up,
- 2:25Speaker 1: but I believe it was Greg why gay men want
- 2:28Speaker 1: to give mouth parties more than women? Well that was that?
- 2:33Speaker 1: Was that from you?
- 2:34Speaker 6: It sounds seculiar, but yeah, well me, the answer seems
- 2:37Speaker 6: pretty obvious.
- 2:38Speaker 7: Yeah, well it came up because I was doing that
- 2:41Speaker 7: thing a gay pride, and like random guys were just
- 2:43Speaker 7: interrupting the interview that I was doing just to offer
- 2:46Speaker 7: it to guys that they don't even know because.
- 2:49Speaker 1: They're such sweeties. Yeah, I mean Gina will take any
- 2:53Speaker 1: excuse that she can get to not Yeah, I mean
- 2:55Speaker 1: it seems.
- 2:56Speaker 5: Much easier, don't get me wrong, is it. Yeah, Well
- 3:00Speaker 5: it depends the sizes of her much for me, your husband,
- 3:05Speaker 5: That's what I'm saying. Like, it's it's still a job.
- 3:07Speaker 5: They don't call it a job for nothing, but it's easier.
- 3:10Speaker 8: You know.
- 3:11Speaker 1: I mean women even still way easier than guys giving
- 3:16Speaker 1: oral Yeah, y'all are more complicated, take longer.
- 3:20Speaker 5: Billion dollars and for a billion reasons.
- 3:22Speaker 9: I would not give a.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Talk about it instant route.
- 3:26Speaker 9: Not a billion dollars.
- 3:27Speaker 5: I don't want to.
- 3:29Speaker 9: I don't think i'd be good at.
- 3:31Speaker 1: So we got it after hours voicemail. She has her
- 3:33Speaker 1: opinion on HI.
- 3:34Speaker 10: I am a longtime listener, and I listened every Morning
- 3:37Speaker 10: Life as much as possible, But then I listened to
- 3:41Speaker 10: the full podcast after just in case I miss anything,
- 3:46Speaker 10: and I wanted to call about the segment that Menace
- 3:48Speaker 10: did in Palm Spring and Palm Springs for s Mary
- 3:51Speaker 10: Kill when the kind of gentleman came up and offered
- 3:55Speaker 10: to give the mouth party, and it was asked amongst
- 3:57Speaker 10: the team white common for gay gentlemen to really want
- 4:02Speaker 10: to give them. I wanted to offer my thoughts as
- 4:05Speaker 10: a mainly straight female that has also enjoyed that also
- 4:10Speaker 10: enjoys giving mouth parties, and that has also tested the
- 4:14Speaker 10: ladypool a few times myself purse off as women. Now,
- 4:19Speaker 10: this is a shock that we overthink everything, making an
- 4:22Speaker 10: easy mouth party transaction more difficult than what it is,
- 4:27Speaker 10: but when giving a mouth party to a guy, it's
- 4:30Speaker 10: kind of like a game. You feel like you are
- 4:32Speaker 10: better at the game the faster you can complete it,
- 4:35Speaker 10: and you get an actual physical prize of ribbons you
- 4:40Speaker 10: sound like you would like to say. And with a female,
- 4:43Speaker 10: it's more like a puzzle, like what see Best was saying.
- 4:46Speaker 10: You have to do things just right to unlock the puzzle,
- 4:50Speaker 10: and you don't necessarily get a physical prize, but you
- 4:52Speaker 10: get more of a verbal job well done. I think
- 4:56Speaker 10: many people can agree that getting a physical prize is
- 4:59Speaker 10: a a lot more satisfying than a verbal job well done.
- 5:03Speaker 10: And when you take away the overthinking that us women
- 5:06Speaker 10: tend to do, uh, then uh, it's pretty easy to
- 5:12Speaker 10: want to just give those mouth parties. So I think
- 5:17Speaker 10: that is why it is so easy for a gay
- 5:20Speaker 10: man to just go up to another another gentleman during
- 5:25Speaker 10: those street bears and offer his services. Thank you for listening,
- 5:30Speaker 10: and I look forward to listening to you guys tomorrow morning.
- 5:37Speaker 1: You put so much thought of it. She took it
- 5:40Speaker 1: very seriously. Yeah, it was great. It's like when they
- 5:45Speaker 1: ask in the beauty pageants she kind of answered and
- 5:48Speaker 1: so forth, such as.
- 5:55Speaker 3: The women in general and.
- 5:56Speaker 6: In general, and then you have that thing in your
- 6:00Speaker 6: when you know, in real life and in the movies,
- 6:03Speaker 6: when you say like, oh yeah, you like that, don't you.
- 6:06Speaker 6: It's kind of like you're getting reinforcement for doing a
- 6:09Speaker 6: good job. You want to say you like that.
- 6:12Speaker 9: It's like a good job.
- 6:13Speaker 6: You gave them that pleasure and it's exciting and boil
- 6:17Speaker 6: boy Morgan. Let me tell you, we got a lot
- 6:19Speaker 6: of feedback on your news that you sold your dirty
- 6:25Speaker 6: gym socks.
- 6:26Speaker 9: Hey, I'm just trying to make the people happy.
- 6:28Speaker 1: To some foot freak, and you're doing it. You know,
- 6:30Speaker 1: did you set up your website yet?
- 6:31Speaker 11: No?
- 6:31Speaker 9: But I have made a few more sales.
- 6:36Speaker 12: No, there we go.
- 6:39Speaker 1: And supply good. Right, So like, did you raise your price?
- 6:42Speaker 9: I did? It's fifty dollars Oh yeah, yeah.
- 6:47Speaker 7: You know what was the shipping costing? Too much money?
- 6:50Speaker 1: Oh yeah? And this workout Warren socks?
- 6:54Speaker 9: Yeah, I mean I've had other requests, but yes.
- 6:58Speaker 1: And so it's just socks.
- 7:00Speaker 9: Just socks.
- 7:00Speaker 3: Yeah, she's allowing, but she said the other time, I.
- 7:03Speaker 9: Do anything, but I haven't gotten paid for those things.
- 7:06Speaker 1: As soon as the.
- 7:07Speaker 9: Money comes through, I'll let you know but as a
- 7:10Speaker 9: smart business woman, you know I can't on it before
- 7:12Speaker 9: the sales done, right.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Yeah, they say the best businesses are started from a
- 7:16Speaker 1: card table in your living room. Yeah, you're Jeff Bezos.
- 7:19Speaker 9: So shout out to front freaks.
- 7:20Speaker 8: You know.
- 7:21Speaker 9: I have a new appreciation for y'all.
- 7:24Speaker 3: Sad that we have that many that listen, dude, you're
- 7:26Speaker 3: going to have that.
- 7:26Speaker 9: You know, in no time who would have thought socks
- 7:30Speaker 9: would have done it?
- 7:31Speaker 3: You buy cheaper socks.
- 7:32Speaker 9: I do low overhead, I really do.
- 7:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:35Speaker 7: So should I recommend squarespace or shopify dot com.
- 7:39Speaker 9: For your Which one do you recommend?
- 7:41Speaker 1: I would do squarreespace.
- 7:43Speaker 9: You've only used weebly. Do you know what that is?
- 7:45Speaker 3: Never heard of? That that's built into a lot of platforms.
- 7:47Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 7:47Speaker 9: I use it in college to make a website.
- 7:49Speaker 1: But okay, squarespace way easier. Here's it after ours voicemail
- 7:53Speaker 1: about your socks and brad stuff.
- 7:55Speaker 8: Yeah, I just want to let for sure I would
- 8:00Speaker 8: pay one hundred and thirty dollars for sogs, but if
- 8:06Speaker 8: her bra is open on the channel, I'll pay like
- 8:10Speaker 8: maybe two hundred d Like she has a big market
- 8:15Speaker 8: that she could do. I mean I am a foot person.
- 8:18Speaker 8: But also I don't like stinky d I like well
- 8:22Speaker 8: kept peat. But yeah, man, I mean I'll pay her
- 8:26Speaker 8: one hundred and thirty dollars a week to send me
- 8:28Speaker 8: a parasawk league.
- 8:31Speaker 1: I mean I'm here a week more.
- 8:34Speaker 7: Number.
- 8:35Speaker 1: This is amazing.
- 8:36Speaker 10: God get made of money.
- 8:40Speaker 1: I don't care correct the budgets for this tough life.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Well right, people spend on. I know people want to
- 8:48Speaker 1: throw money at you. Easy, okay, look jealous.
- 8:53Speaker 9: Oh your life is changing a day, guys, even don't
- 8:57Speaker 9: give up.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Here's another after hours voicemail eight seven seven four four.
- 9:00Speaker 13: Hey, Woody show, it's brand and I just wanted to
- 9:03Speaker 13: say thank you guys. You guys don't know how much
- 9:07Speaker 13: you mean to so many people. It was a while back.
- 9:10Speaker 13: I was just having a terrible day, just miserable, just
- 9:14Speaker 13: feeling really crappy about my life. Started driving home from
- 9:17Speaker 13: work and Woody, you started doing this song about love
- 9:20Speaker 13: boat and Sammy and steamboat.
- 9:22Speaker 11: Willie and for how crummy and terrible of a day
- 9:25Speaker 11: I was having, I was almost crying, laughing, and just
- 9:30Speaker 11: immediately it was like I got to play list for
- 9:31Speaker 11: my wife. She thought it was immature, but I thought
- 9:33Speaker 11: it was hysterical. Just think you guys, You guys are
- 9:37Speaker 11: just so great that you bring life to so many
- 9:40Speaker 11: people's lives that are sometimes having a really rough time,
- 9:42Speaker 11: and just really wanted.
- 9:43Speaker 13: It to say thank you guys.
- 9:45Speaker 1: Sube so nice. A lot of good after hours voicemails.
- 9:55Speaker 1: I like it anytime, if you're listening to the podcast
- 9:57Speaker 1: or after the show, you can always leave yours there
- 10:00Speaker 1: eight seven seven forty four. Of course text during the show,
- 10:03Speaker 1: we get those, and Greg he likes to respond to those.
- 10:09Speaker 1: And the Greg Gory inventory applies to text messages. We
- 10:13Speaker 1: haven't done those in a little while, but we have
- 10:16Speaker 1: a round coming up for you next. So these are
- 10:18Speaker 1: real replies. Days are gonna get ruined, Yeah, because every
- 10:21Speaker 1: people get it's it's so they get so dumb and
- 10:24Speaker 1: worked up over stuff, whether it's you know, Morgan and
- 10:29Speaker 1: selling her yeahs selling her socks like they get like
- 10:35Speaker 1: so put off by you know whatever or whatever the
- 10:39Speaker 1: other conversation might be, and they send like some stupid
- 10:42Speaker 1: text message I supposed to just changing the station, huh.
- 10:45Speaker 1: And then every once in a while Greg will get
- 10:48Speaker 1: really proud of himself, that's right, and he crafts he's
- 10:51Speaker 1: super because it's just so polar opposite of Greg's natural personalities.
- 10:55Speaker 1: He's usually all like fancy and proper. I cry, yeah,
- 10:59Speaker 1: like something like from myself or menace expected Yeah that
- 11:03Speaker 1: yeah it might be yeah, you know like you would
- 11:05Speaker 1: expect right.
- 11:08Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah about that?
- 11:10Speaker 1: Okay, Sor it's like what I got him off guard there?
- 11:14Speaker 1: But yeah, so Greg has cracked these replies. He's gonna
- 11:17Speaker 1: have a couple of options for us, and then he'll
- 11:19Speaker 1: send those text messages back to these jag offs that
- 11:23Speaker 1: send these text messages in trying to ruin our day.
- 11:25Speaker 1: But yeah, about to get is about to get this struck? Yeah,
- 11:29Speaker 1: So Greg's inventory applies to text messages coming up next
- 11:31Speaker 1: to her in the Woody show hanging all right, So not
- 11:38Speaker 1: not everybody, uh not everybody loves the show or some
- 11:42Speaker 1: some people, uh, some people aren't fans. Well here this one,
- 11:47Speaker 1: this one, this one is a.
- 11:48Speaker 12: Fan show, Sarah. I drive a tow truck for a living,
- 11:53Speaker 12: and so I listened to your show every single day.
- 11:56Speaker 12: I usually catch it on the podcast. I'm in and
- 11:58Speaker 12: out of the truck, and so that's her. I can
- 12:00Speaker 12: pause the podcast, as I can't pause the live radio.
- 12:03Speaker 12: But I was just going through and listening to some
- 12:05Speaker 12: of your older podcasts and people just call in and
- 12:08Speaker 12: they just like to complain about you guys. A lot
- 12:10Speaker 12: of menus, hate a lot of'm just like some crap.
- 12:12Speaker 12: And it's like, I love all of you. I love
- 12:14Speaker 12: all of you individually for who you.
- 12:16Speaker 8: Are as a person.
- 12:17Speaker 12: Woodis the glue that holds everybody together. Greg with the
- 12:21Speaker 12: foujie side of things, with his wine and his caviare
- 12:25Speaker 12: and his epty crackers. And then Gina. Oh, I love Gina.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Gina.
- 12:29Speaker 12: It's such a good chef's kits addition to the show.
- 12:33Speaker 12: She's wonderful, She's hilarious. She's a little loud, but hey,
- 12:36Speaker 12: who cares, that's fine, Sammy. I love her. She's adorable
- 12:40Speaker 12: with her crocheting and her wanting to stay home and
- 12:43Speaker 12: watch the Hallmark Channel. I love her. She's so so,
- 12:46Speaker 12: so stinking cute. I put her in my pocket, you
- 12:49Speaker 12: know what I mean?
- 12:50Speaker 10: Uh?
- 12:51Speaker 12: Menace, hilarious, You're so dumb, and it's so great, poor
- 12:55Speaker 12: thing I get.
- 12:56Speaker 8: I get such good laughs out of you just trying
- 12:58Speaker 8: to talk.
- 12:59Speaker 12: He's pore much see that. Obviously you're an a hole,
- 13:04Speaker 12: But You're a funny a hole, and you know what,
- 13:07Speaker 12: you bring good content to the show. So even you,
- 13:09Speaker 12: I love you just.
- 13:10Speaker 2: For being you.
- 13:12Speaker 12: And then all the behind the scenes guys, the Borts,
- 13:15Speaker 12: the Mengis, the Morgans, Oh I love Morgan, Oh my God,
- 13:20Speaker 12: touch me in the face, girl, I love you, Bond,
- 13:23Speaker 12: can't forget Bond. I just I love all of you,
- 13:25Speaker 12: And honestly, listening to the older episodes, it's kind of
- 13:28Speaker 12: kind of a bummer because I'm listening to shows from
- 13:31Speaker 12: like twenty two, so it's pre Sammy, pre Morgan, pre Dina,
- 13:35Speaker 12: pre a lot of you, honestly, and it just doesn't
- 13:37Speaker 12: hit the thing. So I just want to say, I
- 13:38Speaker 12: love you, guys. The show is going in an awesome direction.
- 13:41Speaker 12: I love all the stuff you guys have been putting
- 13:43Speaker 12: out lately, and I love all of you as people
- 13:45Speaker 12: and anyways, all in me love keeping fighting right.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Which is funny because then I heard that voicemail and
- 13:55Speaker 1: then within a couple of minutes I saw this text.
- 13:59Speaker 1: Y'all sound like a bunch of sorority susies. This is
- 14:03Speaker 1: what happens when you put more chicks in the mix.
- 14:08Speaker 1: The Woody Show is gone. Lame. I hope it picks up.
- 14:10Speaker 1: I sense the show is going for a younger, possibly
- 14:13Speaker 1: stupider audience. Too bad, you're turning off a lot of listeners.
- 14:17Speaker 1: I'm not a fan of the rehearsed segments. I don't
- 14:20Speaker 1: know what that means, building to everybody talking over each other.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Your longtime listeners are a lot smarter than you know.
- 14:27Speaker 1: There are too many females chiming in. It spoils the broth.
- 14:33Speaker 1: The guys are more interesting and funny. Well, I just
- 14:38Speaker 1: missed the old show. It was spontaneous and real, without
- 14:42Speaker 1: a lot of tampon talk.
- 14:44Speaker 3: That comes from you guys.
- 14:45Speaker 1: F Yi, curiosity, all the guys very funny. Menace and
- 14:49Speaker 1: Woody let out some great comments. Side splitting anyway, Good
- 14:52Speaker 1: luck with it.
- 14:53Speaker 5: All, Thank you, thank you. Why is it whenever somebody
- 14:58Speaker 5: has a negative comment they have to prot and that
- 15:00Speaker 5: they speak for the masses. But if somebody says something nice,
- 15:02Speaker 5: it's like, I really.
- 15:03Speaker 1: Like this, doesn't friends? Thank you? Guys rule exactly? It's
- 15:10Speaker 1: never that. All right, Well, we get good, we get bad.
- 15:13Speaker 1: Greg likes to have fun with these these piffy I mean,
- 15:18Speaker 1: that's the hope, right, the hope the ones I don't
- 15:21Speaker 1: I don't know what singers because it's just something. Sometimes
- 15:24Speaker 1: one just hits Greg a certain way, and these are
- 15:27Speaker 1: the ones that he selects for around a Greg Gory's
- 15:30Speaker 1: immature replies to text messages, real text messages sent into
- 15:34Speaker 1: the Woodie Show and now real replies, right.
- 15:38Speaker 6: And for me, it's what it's just the idea of
- 15:42Speaker 6: it that cracks me up. Yeah, if you make a
- 15:45Speaker 6: complaint to let's say a company or a store, or
- 15:50Speaker 6: you know some sort of sales type DG. You imagine
- 15:55Speaker 6: if you bought something at Macy's, you had some feedback
- 15:59Speaker 6: and then you got something like this.
- 16:00Speaker 1: About your mom's box, right, And I think about that.
- 16:03Speaker 1: That's what I find funny. Yeah, So Gregy he'll read
- 16:06Speaker 1: the text that that came in, and then he's got
- 16:09Speaker 1: a couple of different replies that he's considering, and then
- 16:11Speaker 1: we can all make a decision together which one ruins
- 16:14Speaker 1: the person's day.
- 16:15Speaker 6: Right today, we have three options for each of the
- 16:18Speaker 6: two texts. So the first one is from the four
- 16:20Speaker 6: one two. I think maybe Sea Best sent this in
- 16:24Speaker 6: It says that segment Friday Oki effing sucks. You need
- 16:28Speaker 6: to leave the singing two professionals, stop singing songs. You're
- 16:32Speaker 6: not a band.
- 16:33Speaker 9: But I thought that's what karaoke is.
- 16:35Speaker 6: Apparently, I mean I did not send that in, but
- 16:40Speaker 6: he's mostly right. That's true. That segment, Friday Oki Evan sucks.
- 16:46Speaker 6: You need to leave the singing two professionals, stop singing songs.
- 16:49Speaker 1: You're not a band.
- 16:50Speaker 6: How about telling your mom to stop shining poles, she's
