- 1:26Part three and Part four from Hollywood. It's time now for Johnny Deller.
- 1:36This is Anne Ward, missus Valentine. Have you heard anything about Dan
- 1:41Nothing, Missus Valentine. The police are looking everywhere for him. I went
- 1:44to the hospital to night and they told me you walked out, he might
- 1:48die. Mister Doll, I know, Missus Valentine. Did you tell any
- 1:51when I was here in New Orleans? If you mean, did I mention
- 1:53it to the police. No, thank you, mister Nathan was very kind
- 1:56of you, but it makes me mad that I didn't, Missus Valentine.
- 2:00I know you don't want anybody to find you're related to him because of your
- 2:01daughter, but I also think you could help the police in this situation.
- 2:06You could help them find Dan and put him back in a hospital. Mister
- 2:09caller, would you come over and talk to me? Please? Please?
- 2:22Tonight and every weekday night. Bob Bailey and the Transcribed Adventures of the Man
- 2:27with the Action Packed Expense Account America's fabulous freelance insurance investigator, Yours truly,
- 2:31Johnny Dollar. Expense accounts submitted by Special Investigator Johnny Dollar to the New Britain
- 2:46Mutual Insurance Company, Hartford, Connecticut. The following is an accounting of expenditures
- 2:51during my investigation of the Valentine matter. Some more expense, I believe this
- 2:58is item five, yeah, four four drinks for myself? What the next
- 3:02big shot of the Roaring twenties. Like Dan, Valentine carries a fifty thousand
- 3:06dollars life insurance policy and walks down the street one day and gets himself shot
- 3:09and refuses to disclose who fired the bullets. I have to do the worrying
- 3:14for the insurance company. When he decides to leave a hospital bed minus a
- 3:17pint or two of blood, I have to worry some more. I needed
- 3:21those drinks. You can just say. I liked what I had seen of
- 3:24the guy, and I didn't want him to walk around New Orleans bleeding to
- 3:27death. In here, please, mister Dolin. The wife, who hadn't
- 3:37seen or heard from him for thirteen years, looked pale and wan. It
- 3:39was obvious that the strain was beginning to tell on her, although she tried
- 3:43hard not to show it. Doesn't it ever cool off in New Orleans sometimes?
- 3:47But I'm not here to talk about the weather. Missus Valentine. You
- 3:51know that. Well, don't just stand there and give me the tears.
- 3:54Then, if you've got anything to say, say it, If you know
- 3:59anything that'll help let me know about it. You're perfectly right in being angry
- 4:02with me, mister Dowler. I honestly don't know where Dan is. Well,
- 4:06do you know why he'd get up out of a hospital bed and the
- 4:09danger his life? I have an idea he might have wanted to see him,
- 4:12But oh, I don't know. The two men have shot at him.
- 4:15Perhaps I just don't know. We aren't getting anywhere, missus Valentine.
- 4:20Look, I'm going to talk to you, frankly. Why did he come
- 4:24here to live in New Orleans? Well, you live in New England with
- 4:29your daughter Teresa. Obviously Dan thinks a great deal of you on her.
- 4:32He's given you everything, provided for you with all of his troubles, spent
- 4:36thirteen years in prison. I can imagine his thoughts about you and her while
- 4:41he was in there, and yet he comes out and lives two thousand miles
- 4:44away from you. He didn't want to interfere with Teresa in any way,
- 4:47sure, but it seems to me he'd want to look at you, at
- 4:49her. Certainly, even if it was a matter of living in Boston and
- 4:54taking a bus to New Salem and standing on a street corner one day to
- 4:57watch the two of you cross the street. That sounds reasonable to you if
- 5:01you put it that way. Look, there's some reason he picked New Orleans,
- 5:04some reason he didn't give himself the little gratification of just looking at you
- 5:09and Teresa. Why why here? I'm sure I don't know. And why
- 5:14is he running around now? I can't answer that either, but it must
- 5:15have something to do with you and your daughter. Obviously you're the only ones
- 5:19he ever cared about. Well, I honestly don't know. Well, and
- 5:28I can't help you, and I can't help myself or him. You mentioned
- 5:32his having a reason to be in New Orleans. Maybe what There was a
- 5:39man named Webster, Conrad Webster. He was a member of the Illinois Bar
- 5:43once in those days, did a great deal of work for Dan and friends
- 5:47of Dan. I think he lived here. Wait a minute, I've seen
- 5:50that name. Yeah, on copies of the insurance policy. A man named
- 5:55Webster had the power of attorney. He bought the insurance. There's a trust
- 5:59in there for your Yes, Conrad Webster was an old friend of Dan's.
- 6:02I don't even know whether he's alive now or not. Drank a great deal
- 6:05later on. I think he lived here. Was he the kind of friend
- 6:10Dan would go to if he needed help? Yes? I think so.
- 6:13All right, what are you going to do. It's just something to look
- 6:15into. I'll try and find Webster and maybe I can find your husband.
- 6:18Thank you for coming by. I needed somebody to talk to. What I
- 6:25hope he stays alive, Missus Valentine Adam seven sixteen dollars. The money had
- 6:32caused me to find out the location of Conrad Webster. I started at his
- 6:36last known address, followed a series of bars, and finally got information from
- 6:40a bartender that led me to the crumbier half of a decaying duplex on Gentilly
- 6:44Street. Everything was quiet for Gentilly Street. Huh, young man, the
- 6:56drug store delivers what I need most. The telegraph office would I dreadmost?
- 7:00Obviously, you represent neither. Therefore you are no concern of mine. Wait
- 7:03a minute, are you, mister Webster? Conrad Webster? I am he,
- 7:08and I am drunk in disheveled, and it is three o'clock kill the
- 7:12morning. I'd like to talk with you. May I come in? You
- 7:14may not. This isn't exactly the hour for making calls. But I did
- 7:17stop by and pick up something to take the edge off. Huh, it's
- 7:21bonded inside inside. Now then you are going to apologize? Here you are
- 7:30mister Webster, then as long as this lasts, you will last, all
- 7:49right. I'm looking for a man. The entire world is looking for a
- 7:56man, just one man, a man they blind the presume will break off
- 8:01these shackles that bind us and lead us faults into eternal Just yeah, yeah,
- 8:05sure, but that's not an ironic anticipation. I'm talking about Dan Valentine.
- 8:13You are, yes, I'm a friend of his. No, oh,
- 8:18you don't come from that place. The pallor is not with you,
- 8:22you lie. I didn't say I was in jail with it? And where
- 8:24else would he have made friends these long years. He's out of prison now,
- 8:28he's been out for three months, and I'm aware of that. Did
- 8:31you know he was shot at yesterday? Three hours ago? He left his
- 8:35hospital bed. I thought he might have come to you. Is he here?
- 8:39Here? Is not? You know where he is? I do not,
- 8:41mister Webster. If Valentine isn't back in the hospital, pretty soon,
- 8:43he'll die. Why is the phenomenon of death so persistently alarming? So he
- 8:52will die. They all die usually from a bullet, and that's what's going
- 8:58to happen to him. Two bullets. He stopped yesterday. Do you understand
- 9:01acutely, acutely, you've impressed me with the urgency of his situation. But
- 9:07Dan Valentine is not here, nor has he been here, nor has he
- 9:11contacted me, nor do I know where to contact him. All right,
- 9:16mister Webster, all right, I guess I believe him. Your concern for
- 9:24him is a distressing irritation. What is the reason for it. I'm an
- 9:30insurance investigator and it's my job to keep him alive. More than that,
- 9:35I like him. I told you I was his friend. I think he
- 9:37deserves to live. You his friends, No, you are too young to
- 9:43be his friend. His friends, for the most part, are gone like
- 9:48the long years, like Hamburg Hats and the Charleston and Lime Rickey. The
- 9:56ones who are left are broken. And I who faded with old faces,
- 10:03faces like mine, like his, And we should be gone too. Another
- 10:11age is here, m This is my sadness, as for yours. Dan
- 10:20Valentine should never have lived in that age or this age. He was meant
- 10:24to be an explorer, a pioneer who conquered a willerness, not a racketeer
- 10:31who conquered a west side. Are you sure you're his friend, mister Webster.
- 10:37I once thought so, he once thought so. Now I haven't strength
- 10:46enough to be anyone's friend. What's your name, Johnnie Doller? Good night,
- 10:54mister Doller. Look in Conrad Webster's eyes held the same sort of sadness
- 11:03I had seen in Valentine's eyes, but they were different too, They held
- 11:07a weakness. The strong, sad eyes were somewhere else in the city,
- 11:11walking alone, probably looking for two gunmen, and the lifeblood was slowly draining
- 11:16from the body that sparked them. I went back to my hotel and tried
- 11:22to sleep, but sleep wouldn't come. I was still rolling and tossing at
- 11:24seven thirty the next morning, when orange juiced coffee in the morning paper came
- 11:28up. A nationwide sinda get had picked up the new development and the Valentine
- 11:31shooting and gone to work on it. Among other names they mentioned and giving
- 11:35a resume of Valentine's career, where his wife and daughter living in New Salem
- 11:39under the name of Ward. Hello, this is Johnny Dollar. I just
- 11:43read the morning paper, missus Valentine. Oh yes, I'm sorry it broke
- 11:46for you this way. That's very kind of you to say, so,
- 11:50maybe it's for the better. Anyhow. For years I've been wanting to tell
- 11:52Teresa who her father is, what he's like. I'm going to call her
- 11:56later today, tell her where I am, explaining why I'm here. I
- 12:01think she can take it. You're doing pretty well yourself. Thanks again,
- 12:07any word you No? No, we still can't find him, mister Webster.
- 12:11Did you find him? Yes? He wasn't much help. The New
- 12:15England paper said that Missus Ward was out of town. Sooner or later they'll
- 12:20find out what town Missus Ward is in. I'm afraid, well, maybe
- 12:22you'd better get another hotel, use another name. Yes, all right,
- 12:26I'll wait to hear from you, mister Donner. Yes, thank you.
- 12:33I put in another call to inspect a Debacca and asked him about developments.
- 12:37Valentine was still unlocated. They were covering drug stores and doctors offices where he
- 12:43might seek assistance the two unidentified men who had shot him. We're still unidentified.
- 12:48The police weren't able to dig up any more witnesses or get any line
- 12:52on the car. By four in the afternoon, Missus Valentine had still not
- 12:54called me to report a new address. I got worried and went over to
- 12:58the Roosevelt to see what was I was surprised to see Inspector Debacca in the
- 13:01lobby talking to the bell Captain Rights and remember anything else? Called me here,
- 13:05Yes, sir, right, sure will hi hi dollah? Well you
- 13:09want to talk first? You want me to all right, I'll talk first.
- 13:15Missus Valentine's been staying here under the name of Anne Ward. You knew
- 13:18that. Yeah, why didn't you say anything to me? She asked me
- 13:22not to. It doesn't make any difference now. Anyhow. That boy over
- 13:24there called us a little while ago. He said that Dan Valentine came in
- 13:28here this afternoon, went upstairs, came back down fifteen minutes later with Missus
- 13:33Valentine. They both left together. Yeah, he must have seen the story
- 13:35in this morning's paper and guess she was in town. That's the way I
- 13:39see it. Well, we're right back where we started from, and I'm
- 13:43about sick of it. We're a little better off. Two people are easier
- 13:46to find than one. We found them all right at seven o'clock that night,
- 13:54and it was easy. Three squad cars were already drawn up in front
- 14:00of the little hotel, and I noticed with a sinking heart that a hearse
- 14:03was there also, Dan Valentine and his wife were dead. Johnny Deller,
- 14:26What is all this? Johnny who? Right Vickers? New Britain Mutual.
- 14:30What happened to Valentine? He was gunned down last night going into a hotel
- 14:33with his wife. No, the police here turning the city upside down,
- 14:37trying to get a line on two unidentified gunmen. Who couldn't you keep him
- 14:39alive? I couldn't even find him. Well, this is no time to
- 14:43be yelling at each other. I just left his daughter. She filed claim
- 14:46already through that lawyer Webster. No. No, she didn't even know anything
- 14:50about him until the papers broke the story. Well, I I'm sorry I
- 14:54got annoyed for a second. Do what you can, Johnny, don't wonderful
- 14:58report Roy Sure expense accounts submitted by Special Investigator Johnny Dollar to the New Britain
- 15:13Mutual Insurance Company, Hartford, Connecticut. The following is a further accounting of
- 15:16expenditures during my investigation of the Valentine matter. ADEM nine seven dollars for dinner.
- 15:24I had it with Inspector Charles Debacca, New Orleans Police. He was
- 15:28a haggard, tired looking man. About that time all of us were you
- 15:33want some more coffee? No, no thanks. Two men both bought six
- 15:37feet when dark suits and hats, medium to slat bills, one possibly thirty
- 15:41five, the other possibly forty. A lot about ties up for the description
- 15:45of the two men who plugged Valentine earlier and earned him a place in the
- 15:48hospital. Yeah, we got more of a chance this time. It'll be
- 15:52some other witnesses. Somebody asked to tell us what kind of a car their
- 15:56head and what direction they went. One thing, they weren't using silences anymore.
- 16:00No, but they did a professional job. I think Valentine knew him,
- 16:03climbed out of that hospital, bid to go out looking for him.
- 16:06Sounds reasonable. How do you figure the rest of an inspector? Valentine saw
- 16:11the newspaper story and knew his wife was in town. He went over,
- 16:14got it and I'd take it. They were going to check into a new
- 16:17hotel when their friends showed up. She just happened to get in the way.
- 16:21Why did anybody want to shoot her? Why would anybody want to shoot
- 16:23him? Well, because no matter what he was now or how he was
- 16:27playing it, he still lived pretty hard way back then. Man who's lived
- 16:32the kind of life he has and done the things he is is bound to
- 16:34make a few enemies to remember. No, I think it has something to
- 16:37do with his family. I agree with you that Valentine probably made enemies all
- 16:41over, but he wasn't the kind of man to get excited about any of
- 16:45those kind of people. He pretty well knew how to take care of himself
- 16:48and handle trouble. That's why he was out looking for you. You sound
- 16:52pretty certain. It seems to me that if Valentine had been expecting trouble from
- 16:56some of the old timers, he'd have carried a gun. You got a
- 16:59point, But then again, he was pretty gentled up. You know how
- 17:03he spent most of his time painting. Huh at the house he brought out
- 17:07in Jefferson Parish has covered with pictures he's done since he's been out. Oils
- 17:11pretty good too. When he wasn't painting that, he was listening to music.
- 17:15You'd hardly think of Danny Valentine taking up the arts or living well.
- 17:22I'm gonna make a call and get busy, yeah, inspector, Yeah,
- 17:26any objection to me going out and looking around that house. It's your privilege.
- 17:30Personally, I'm gonna look around town for a couple of gunmen, anyone
- 17:33out there now? His cook name's Jacchino. Nice woman. Okay, I'll
- 17:38keep in touch with the inspecting him. Do that a dollar now on.
- 17:42You forgot to tell me you looked up the old family lawyer, Conrad Webster
- 17:47the other night. I was trying to find Valentine the same as you.
- 17:52Well, if you happen to run into Webster again, you tell him to
- 17:53drop in and see me him. Huh, he's missing. I didn't know
- 18:00what to say to that, so I left him standing there and went back
- 18:03to my hotel and shaved, changed clothes and tried to go over the whole
- 18:06thing in my mind. I did phone into the police station and find out
- 18:10that the slugs that had killed Valentine and his wife were from an Italian make
- 18:12pistol around barrel thirty seven point five caliber. So far untraced expense account item
- 18:21ten cost of cab from my hotel to Danny Valentine's house in Jefferson Parish.
- 18:30Yes, how do you do? Are you missus Iccino? Yes? Who
- 18:33are you? Please? My name is Johnny Dollar. Missus Iccino, I'm
- 18:37from New Britain Mutual insurance Company. I'd like to talk to you, if
- 18:38I may, about mister Valentine. Yes, not right now, mister of
- 18:45the time. Well if you prefer it that way, missus Iucchino. But
- 18:48it's been a hard day here. I mean mister Valentine's death and his wife
- 18:52been killed with him, all of these policemen in and out of you,
- 18:56and no missus Warden on Miss Warden his daughter, Yes, she's a here,
- 19:00arrived two hours ago. She stay here, I see her. You
- 19:06come tomorrow, mister Dolla, Please tomorrow, miss it Yaccino, Yes,
- 19:10miss the ward Who is it, mister Dolla, he's from the insurance company,
- 19:14insurance company. Yes, I'd like to talk to us Leccino. Theresa
- 19:21ward stood at the base of the iron grills stairway, tall and dark eyed,
- 19:26and I saw that, like her mother, she had a quiet intensity
- 19:27about her face that made it beautiful at the same time ageless. She smiled
- 19:33politely at me. I can only stand there without speaking for a long moment,
- 19:38looking at her. Then missus Iaccino excused herself and we were alone.
- 19:44I wanted to talk to someone who won't be able to give me a little
- 19:47more information about all this. It's oh quite new to me. I'll tell
- 19:49you what I can, Miss ward my name is Valentine. Isn't it really
- 19:55Valentine? Yes? It is. Well, I suppose we correct that,
- 19:59mister right now. Sure there's nothing wrong with Valentine. From what a mister
- 20:03Vickers from the insurance office in Hartford told me, I'm to be quite well
- 20:07off because of this man that was murdered. You mean Dan Valentine, Yes,
- 20:11Dan Valentine. Tell me he was my father who told her Oh reporters
- 20:18at home and your insurance company. Mother told me my name was Ward.
- 20:25Poor thing must have been difficult for her over the years keeping the secret from
- 20:30me. Yes, she told me she thought it was the best thing.
- 20:33She well, the same as he did tear me about my father. Was
- 20:38he a bad man? Oh? As good or as bad as the vast
- 20:42that act made people. I only met him a couple of times. Awakened
- 20:48one morning and discover that you're the only daughter of a famous racketeer who's been
- 20:52murdered. Look, miss Warden, if he had anything to do with the
- 20:56way you turned out, with what you seemed to possess within yourself. I'd
- 21:00say offhand that whatever he was or did he thought of you, are you
- 21:07flattering me? I'm not trying to. You seem like a very nice person,
- 21:11and so do you, mister dollar. Will you tell me all about
- 21:15this? Please? Well, let's see. You're twenty one, isn't that
- 21:18right? Yes, Just about fifteen years ago or so, your father was
- 21:22on trial for income tax evation. Just before he was convicted, he set
- 21:27up a trust fund with my insurance company to provide for you. It's been
- 21:30paying money for your support and education ever since. According to the terms of
- 21:36the trust, all of the money becomes yours. Now that your mother and
- 21:38father are dead, it comes to well of a fifty thousand dollars. That's
- 21:45all there is to it. I suppose I'm grateful to him. I suppose
- 21:51I should be grateful. I can't say that I'm particularly sorry about his death
- 21:55any more than I would be any other human being died violently. Somewhere about
- 22:02mother's dead. I missed her very much already. She was holding up pretty
- 22:12well until that point. Then she let go. I held her in my
- 22:18arms and I talked to her. I told her what I knew of her
- 22:21father's life and death. She told me how she'd been reared so far removed
- 22:26from anything that might have connected her in the least way with a Valentine name.
- 22:30Altogether, it was a revealing conversation for both of us. Missus Iaccino
- 22:33brought us some food and wine. How long would you be in New Orleans
- 22:37until all of this is straightened out? I mean, until they find out
- 22:41who killed my mother and father? Yes? How about you? Oh?
- 22:45I really don't know. After the funerals, suppose I'll go back. But
- 22:52I wanted to see him, to see what he looked like, what kind
- 22:53of life he led. He was just an ordinary man, wasn't he.
- 23:00Have you seen these pictures before? Nor? This is my first time in
- 23:03the house. Looked like Italian landscapes to me, very good. Must have
- 23:10been something he had with mother. She was from Italy. May I ask
- 23:15you something? Yes? How do you feel about him? Now? Is
- 23:22this for your report? For myself? Since you've been here these last two
- 23:27hours, I begun to think of him for what he was, my father.
- 23:33I mean, I'd like to know why he was killed and who did
- 23:37it? Will I see you again? I hope so, Terry, Yes,
- 23:45I hope so very much, So do I Johnny. I left her
- 23:56at the door that night with a warm sensation inside of me, something I
- 24:00certainly hadn't expected in the business at hand. The next morning, I was
- 24:10back at the house talking to missus Hichino. She gave me all the information
- 24:14she could remember about Valentine's activities, all of it accurate, but lacking in
- 24:18any possible clue as to the identity of the two men who had killed him
- 24:22and his wife. I had breakfast with Terry there and helped it with funeral
- 24:26arrangements. Then I spent a solid twelve hours with inspected Tobacca, who had
- 24:30still not located or identified the two mysterious men. However, there were other
- 24:34developments. There may be something Johnny Conrad Webster has been found huh up by
- 24:41Lake constrain just identified him who shot to death with a thirty seven point five
- 24:45Italian gun. Yep, just like the one that killed Dan Valentine in his
- 24:49way. It later developed that the slugs taken from Webster's body, when compared
- 24:57with those that had killed Valentines, were fired from the same weapon. The
- 25:02case took on proportions. Every available bit of information regarding the two X big
- 25:07Shots of the twenties was located, red and re read at men activity in
- 25:11cities like Saint Louis, Chicago, Detroit, and New York, but no
- 25:15new information as to the identity of the killers. I went back to the
- 25:18house. Johnny, here, here, here, what is this? You're
- 25:23shaking? Sure, I suppose I'm being a terrible fool. Amount it all,
- 25:30Johnny. But they've been helping me all day, cheap little things.
- 25:33Newspaper syndicate wants me to write my exclusive story as the shadow daughter of Dan
- 25:37Valentine, fairy princess of a racket. Take it easy, Take it easy,
- 25:42even, I would produced, Oh, Johnny, I shouldn't have come
- 25:48here at all. And what would I have done, Terry, what would
- 25:52I have done? Make yourself a drink, Johnny, I'll go put on
- 25:56a new faith. It had become apparent to me in the short time I'd
- 26:06known her that she'd grown to love the memory of her father, also that
- 26:10the pressure of all that had happened was beginning to take its toll on her.
- 26:14We were walking down the gravel path away from the house. She was
- 26:17quieted down. I suppose I was thinking how nice it would be to kiss
- 26:21her. I twisted trying for the gun inside my pocket, but there was
- 26:25nobody to shoot at. The two men who had fired the guns were already
- 26:27out of sight. I was alone with Terry Valentine, who was hanging on
- 26:32the gate. I caught her before she fell. I mean, I mean
- 26:42she was dead before I could answer. There will be the final intriguing episode
- 27:03in our story of the Valentine matter tomorrow. Tomorrow, a sober lesson and
- 27:07how long, how far and how deadly one man's hate can be? Join
- 27:12us, won't you? Yours Truly? Johnny Doller? Yours Truly? Johnny
- 27:27Deller starring Bob Bailey is transcribed in Hollywood. Written by John Dawson. It
- 27:33is produced and directed by Jack Johnstone. Be sure to join us tomorrow night
- 27:37at same time and station for another exciting episode of Yours Truly Johnny Duller,
- 27:41Roy Rowan speaking welcome back. Well, let me say this. Betty lu
- 28:52Gerson as the daughter in this performance maybe one of the best supporting radio performances
- 29:02we hear on these Johnny Dollar serials because basically she comes into this program after
- 29:11three parts of past and comes in in part for us only there for that
- 29:18fourth part, but in that part, she really I think, just steals
- 29:26the show. Great performance in terms of capturing the emotion and kind of the
- 29:36tragedy of this character. I thought it was just incredible, just an absolutely
- 29:41solid performance setting up the climax of the case on Friday. So be sure
- 29:52and listen to us then for the conclusion of this wonderful case. All well,
- 30:00we turn now to our stats. I promised to talk to you a
- 30:04little bit about who in the world and who in the United States is listening.
- 30:11It won't surprise most listeners define that our audience is about eighty percent and
- 30:21eight percent from Canada, so that right there makes up about ninety percent of
- 30:27our audience and the rest of the audience a total downloads last month. Unique
- 30:36downloads were four hundred and one thousand, six hundred and fifty five during the
- 30:40month of March, and people from one hundred and thirty two countries tuned in
- 30:48from to one episode or another. Rounding out the top countries, we had
- 30:57the UK, Germany, Australia, the Russian Federation, China, France,
- 31:07Japan, and Mexico number ten. So a very wide audience in the world,
- 31:22and in terms of what state has our most listeners in one way,
- 31:26it's not a surprise California is the top, but that's kind of to be
- 31:32expected because California is the largest state in the United States. Number two is
- 31:37a bit of surprise. Our second highest number of listeners of Virginia, thirty
- 31:45thousand downloads in Virginia, and then after that Texas in New York close behind.
- 31:53Washington state also on the list, and really most of our downloads spread
- 32:00pretty well throughout the country. There were a few states. There were very
- 32:04few states I found where we didn't have at least a thousand total downloads.
- 32:09Hawaii just missed it at nine fifty five. Vermont, I think I'm elite,
- 32:15is the state I am least popular in two hundred and thirteen downloads South
- 32:22Dakota eight eleven, North Dakota seven fifty nine, and Wyoming five forty five,
- 32:27But most other states at least a thousand downloads or more. Oh in
- 32:31Mississippi eight thirty nine. So if you have friends in those states or friends
- 32:37anywhere, I let them know about the show, and I'll talk a little
- 32:42bit about platforms. What are people using as they listen to the program tomorrow.
- 32:46Now we do have a listener comment a review of our Eye our Apple
- 32:53app, great app and the sound quality is excellent. Keep them coming well,
- 33:00thanks so much. We intend to do that all right. Well,
