- 0:06Speaker 1: the Mark Simone show on woor Hey. Let's take some calls.
- 0:11Speaker 1: Eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten is
- 0:15Speaker 1: the number. Let's go to Joe Anne in Florida. Joeanne,
- 0:17Speaker 1: how are you doing?
- 0:19Speaker 2: Hi? Mark, I'm doing well.
- 0:21Speaker 3: How are you?
- 0:22Speaker 1: Let me check? Not bad? Not bad?
- 0:25Speaker 4: Good?
- 0:25Speaker 2: You still got a pulse?
- 0:26Speaker 3: That's good?
- 0:27Speaker 1: Yeah? Sixty right now, good?
- 0:29Speaker 3: Mark.
- 0:30Speaker 2: Yes, since you are so knowledgeable, I wanted to ask
- 0:33Speaker 2: you a question. When Obama was in office in two
- 0:38Speaker 2: thousand and niney whatever, and gas was over four dollars
- 0:42Speaker 2: a gall what would that be Today's an inflation that
- 0:46Speaker 2: everyone is screaming now about gassy four dollars again.
- 0:49Speaker 1: Well, it's a good point. It'd probably be about five
- 0:51Speaker 1: dollars and twenty cents now, right, Yeah, And obviously Joe
- 0:56Speaker 1: Biden had gas prices way above what we have now
- 0:59Speaker 1: for four years and it was that's fine. But that's
- 1:00Speaker 1: called democratic community. They don't pick on you if you're
- 1:03Speaker 1: a Democrat. It's fine.
- 1:06Speaker 2: I knew you would have a good.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Answer to meymore Well, part of Florida.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Are you in I'm in the villages.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Oh my god, what have you got? The shuffle board today, pickleball?
- 1:20Speaker 2: Anything we want to do, we've got And you know
- 1:22Speaker 2: the president is here today, so that's really Oh that's.
- 1:24Speaker 1: How he's coming to the villages today. Yes, yeah, So
- 1:28Speaker 1: they're all excited there, they're all waiting for him.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Oh my gosh.
- 1:32Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:33Speaker 2: I mean I'm not out there and the sun waiting
- 1:35Speaker 2: for the president. But people say they've been lined up
- 1:38Speaker 2: since five o'clock in the morning. So God blessing.
- 1:41Speaker 3: Wow.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Well those old folks at the villages, good they were
- 1:44Speaker 1: able to fit this into their busy schedule and take
- 1:47Speaker 1: time out for this. But thanks thanks for calling. Let's
- 1:50Speaker 1: go to uh Rich in Myrtle Beach Rich. How you doing?
- 1:54Speaker 3: And for gian those old people go to bed at nine,
- 1:56Speaker 3: get up at four thirty eight eight. You know you're
- 2:02Speaker 3: talking about their self check. Got a Walmart, you know
- 2:04Speaker 3: it's easy, But then you got four guys at the
- 2:07Speaker 3: door wanting to look through your bag and check your
- 2:09Speaker 3: receipt and you waste more time trying to get you know,
- 2:12Speaker 3: whether they're trying to prove your thief or not trying
- 2:14Speaker 3: to get out the door.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Now.
- 2:15Speaker 3: Down here in Myrtle Beach, we've been writing letters, my
- 2:18Speaker 3: wife and all her friends to Traded Joe's for ten
- 2:21Speaker 3: years down here, and they finally opened up a Traded
- 2:23Speaker 3: Joe's and Surfside Beach just like five minutes from our house.
- 2:26Speaker 3: So everybody down here is a static. We finally get
- 2:29Speaker 3: a traded Joe's because on Long Island, where we're from,
- 2:31Speaker 3: in Long Beach and Ocean Side, they were everywhere, you know,
- 2:34Speaker 3: down here, the nowhere to be found except Wilmington, North Carolina,
- 2:37Speaker 3: and Charleston, South Carolina, which is from where we are,
- 2:40Speaker 3: an hour and forty minutes away. So now we got
- 2:42Speaker 3: one just five minutes from the house.
- 2:43Speaker 1: Well, I'm not a big Trader Joe's fan, but it's
- 2:45Speaker 1: cheap like this one on the upper west side. You
- 2:47Speaker 1: got the fairway right near there.
- 2:48Speaker 3: Chalk it was great, the dark chalk with peanut butter
- 2:52Speaker 3: cups and the chocolate cup. That kind of stuff was fantastic.
- 2:55Speaker 1: It tastes great. You said, they look into the ingredients,
- 2:57Speaker 1: though they call it the ingredients. You might, you might
- 3:00Speaker 1: it might explain to you how they get him so cheap.
- 3:02Speaker 1: But anyway, thanks for a calling. Let me just I'm
- 3:05Speaker 1: looking for the President's schedule for today. Here it is
- 3:10Speaker 1: ten am intelligence briefing. Ooh after that, yes, after ten am.
- 3:16Speaker 1: After the briefing, the President departs the White House and
- 3:19Speaker 1: route to the Villages in Florida. Three PM event with
- 3:23Speaker 1: seniors at the village's charter school. Then after that four
- 3:28Speaker 1: thirty five he will depart the Villages in Florida en
- 3:32Speaker 1: route to Palm Beach, Florida. Eight point fifteen. He will
- 3:36Speaker 1: be at mar A Lago. But it's for the uh
- 3:41Speaker 1: oh no, wait, take it back. I think it's the
- 3:43Speaker 1: Cravis Center. It's at the Cravis Center. He'll be in
- 3:45Speaker 1: Palm Beach. But six fifteen the night he's going to
- 3:48Speaker 1: the Forum Club of the Palm Beach's dinner at the
- 3:51Speaker 1: Cravis Centers. I guess he'll be in mar Lago all weekend.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Marlago closed his Mother's Day for the whole season. It
- 3:57Speaker 1: doesn't reopen until about Halloween. That's how bad it is imployed.
- 4:01Speaker 1: You have to actually close mar A Lago on Mother's
- 4:03Speaker 1: Day because nobody can stand it there for the whole summer.
- 4:06Speaker 1: Let's go to Kevin and Nanuet.
- 4:08Speaker 3: Kevin how you doing, Mark, You're the funniest guy in
- 4:11Speaker 3: talk radio.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Well the bar wasn't set too high, but okay, thank you.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Yeah, I just want to ask you a question.
- 4:18Speaker 4: Any scenario boots on the ground in Iran.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Well, we've already done it twice in Iran.
- 4:24Speaker 4: But that Bush was running it. We have a smarter president.
- 4:27Speaker 4: Mitche knows how.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Well now Bush would set. You know, Bush starts a
- 4:30Speaker 1: war by putting four hundred thousand troops on the ground first.
- 4:34Speaker 1: This is a much more efficient word. That's why Bush
- 4:36Speaker 1: was there forever in Iraq. This is going to be quick,
- 4:38Speaker 1: but we've already had twice twice. We've already had boots
- 4:42Speaker 1: on the ground in Iran. We had them one day.
- 4:45Speaker 1: Remember that plane went down and a pilot was lost,
- 4:48Speaker 1: and we had boots on the ground all over the
- 4:51Speaker 1: place for about twenty five hours to recover the guy
- 4:54Speaker 1: and get him out of there. And then you remember
- 4:56Speaker 1: the navigator of the plane was lost. They had to
- 5:00Speaker 1: find him, and we really had boots on the ground
- 5:03Speaker 1: for two days. Not only do we have boots on
- 5:05Speaker 1: the ground, we built in Iran a temporary air base.
- 5:09Speaker 1: This is hard to imagine. We had boots on the ground.
- 5:12Speaker 1: We built a temporary air base, and we brought in
- 5:15Speaker 1: planes and helicopters. We've just basically built an airport in
- 5:20Speaker 1: the middle of nowhere in Iran, surrounded it with troops,
- 5:23Speaker 1: surrounded it with planes and drones and everything, created a
- 5:27Speaker 1: two mile perimeter and shot anything that came near that perimeter.
- 5:30Speaker 1: But for about two days we had boots on the
- 5:32Speaker 1: ground there and then the week before boots on the ground.
- 5:35Speaker 1: So it would be nothing, nothing different if we did it.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Let's go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing.
- 5:41Speaker 4: Good morning, Mark, Good morning, Ma, Bob Mark. One of
- 5:44Speaker 4: the other reasons why a lot of Traded Joe's products
- 5:48Speaker 4: are cheaper, they outsourced out in the country. Like most
- 5:52Speaker 4: of the fish products they sell, the frozen fish and
- 5:57Speaker 4: preprepared fish, that's all sourced from out at the country. Mark.
- 6:01Speaker 4: Earlier with Greg Jarred, you alluded to the fact that
- 6:05Speaker 4: a life sentence in many states no longer means a
- 6:09Speaker 4: life sentence will long behold. The legislature of New York
- 6:14Speaker 4: State legislature, the whack jobs up there, they're proposing that
- 6:19Speaker 4: even if the judge gave you a life sentence, after
- 6:23Speaker 4: twenty years you could actually even go to a different
- 6:27Speaker 4: judge than the one who imposed this sentence and you
- 6:32Speaker 4: have them let you out of jail and reduced. And
- 6:36Speaker 4: they're also proposing that after a certain age, like if
- 6:40Speaker 4: you're an old geezer and you're doing a life sentence,
- 6:43Speaker 4: after a certain age, they'll let you out. And that's
- 6:47Speaker 4: all the blue head maniacs upstate pushing this agenda.
- 6:53Speaker 1: You got crazy left wing hocal and nobody was a
- 6:55Speaker 1: crazier left wing governor than Andrew Colemany bragged about closing prisons,
- 6:59Speaker 1: let the prisoners out, and he replaced everybody on the
- 7:02Speaker 1: parole board with these left wing cooks that let everybody out.
- 7:05Speaker 1: They let out like twenty three cop killers they let out. So, yeah,
- 7:08Speaker 1: you're right, it could happen. Well, Vince, we gotta go,
- 7:11Speaker 1: We gotta do the news. Thank great call. When we
- 7:13Speaker 1: come back, Roger Stone will be with us. Now. We've
- 7:17Speaker 1: been talking about Komy and the horrible things he did
- 7:20Speaker 1: to people. Way do you hear this story of exactly
- 7:22Speaker 1: what he did to Roger Stone, who was guilty of
- 7:24Speaker 1: really nothing they I mean, it was even if he
- 7:28Speaker 1: was guilty, it was the silliest little thing. But it
- 7:29Speaker 1: turned out he wasn't even guilty. Wait, do you hear
- 7:31Speaker 1: what Komy did to this guy to terrorize him and
- 7:34Speaker 1: his wife. You'll realize what a bad guy this is.
- 7:36Speaker 1: We'll get to that next on seven to ten wor
