- 0:00Speaker 1: I want to announce that we have a show in Cork,
- 0:02Speaker 1: Ireland now on June 9th at Live at the Marquee,
- 0:06Speaker 1: New York City, New York, May 31st, Belfast, London, Idaho Falls,
- 0:15Speaker 1: Salt Lake City, and Las Vegas, Nevada there. Fourth of
- 0:19Speaker 1: July weekend, we'll be there in Las Vegas, Nevada for
- 0:22Speaker 1: two nights at Resorts World. You can get all tickets
- 0:25Speaker 1: at theovon.com slash T-O-U-R. And thank you for your support.
- 0:31Speaker 1: And if tickets are too expensive, make sure you're not
- 0:33Speaker 1: buying them on a secondary site. You got to do that.
- 0:36Speaker 1: That's why we suggest go through the website. And if
- 0:44Speaker 1: they're sold out or something and they're expensive on secondary sites,
- 0:48Speaker 1: just hold the line. We'll come back through some other time.
- 0:51Speaker 1: I love you guys, baby. Thank you. All right, check, check. Chicken.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Check your chicken, baby. Check your chicken. God, how do
- 1:04Speaker 1: you know if a chicken is a woman? I guess
- 1:05Speaker 1: if it has an egg, huh? But now there's definitely,
- 1:09Speaker 1: there's gotta be a lot of dude chickens like that
- 1:12Speaker 1: will just like hide an egg under their little chicken
- 1:17Speaker 1: arm or whatever it's called. Little flat, like feather chicken arm,
- 1:26Speaker 1: there's got to be a lot of little, and then
- 1:30Speaker 1: they sneak over by the women chickens and then just
- 1:32Speaker 1: kind of sneak it out. A lot of dude chickens
- 1:36Speaker 1: trying to get over there and just hang out with
- 1:38Speaker 1: the babe chickens. So there's got to be a lot.
- 1:42Speaker 1: That's the thing. It's like you don't even know a
- 1:44Speaker 1: man chicken. Maybe you just look it in its eyes,
- 1:47Speaker 1: you know, say, are you a man chicken or not? But, yeah,
- 1:54Speaker 1: I think there's got to be a lot of female
- 1:57Speaker 1: chickens that are men, that are closeted men or whatever,
- 2:03Speaker 1: or that are just hiding an egg. And then when
- 2:06Speaker 1: nobody's looking, they just lay that bitch down and then
- 2:11Speaker 1: pretend that they're women and sit over there with the
- 2:15Speaker 1: women chickens and watch my 700-pound– wakeboard or whatever. I
- 2:24Speaker 1: don't even know what some of the shows that women
- 2:26Speaker 1: are watching now. I think my 600 pound dental assistant
- 2:29Speaker 1: or whatever. There's like all there's like, yeah, there's a
- 2:33Speaker 1: show the other day. It was like my 440 pound
- 2:36Speaker 1: mailman or whatever. Like, dude, if that you're never getting
- 2:41Speaker 1: your mail, if that's who is helping you out that
- 2:45Speaker 1: you are, you're not getting any mail. So, um, But yeah,
- 2:52Speaker 1: that's the thing now. A lot of chickens, you don't
- 2:55Speaker 1: know if they are real chickens. You don't know who's
- 2:58Speaker 1: being a woman chicken, who's being just a sneaky man
- 3:01Speaker 1: chicken hiding an egg under its little wing or whatever.
- 3:05Speaker 1: That's the word, wing.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:07Speaker 1: You don't know who's hiding a little egg under its
- 3:09Speaker 1: wing and then it just sneaks over there by the
- 3:11Speaker 1: women and is just like, and just drops that bitch off, baby.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Like they're one of Easter's little hit men, baby. They're just,
- 3:20Speaker 1: that's a, There's a lot of men in disguise being
- 3:24Speaker 1: women nowadays all over. So, yeah, it's like that trans
- 3:32Speaker 1: swimmer at the Penn State or whatever or University of Pennsylvania.
- 3:37Speaker 1: It's like that trans swimmer. That's the kind of chickens
- 3:40Speaker 1: they have nowadays. A lot of men chickens are sneaking
- 3:44Speaker 1: in a women's chicken world and being women's chickens. Because
- 3:50Speaker 1: it's easier, probably. That's why I would guess. And maybe
- 3:54Speaker 1: because they get a little bit more attention. And some
- 4:01Speaker 1: of that makes sense. It's like if men don't get
- 4:03Speaker 1: any attention for being men, if they're not rewarded anymore
- 4:06Speaker 1: for being men, then some will slink over to being
- 4:14Speaker 1: a woman just to still get attention. Because even as creatures,
- 4:17Speaker 1: I believe that we need attention as male or female creatures.
- 4:22Speaker 1: What's up, guys? Welcome to the podcast. Sorry, it's been
- 4:26Speaker 1: a while since I've done a solo episode. There's a
- 4:29Speaker 1: couple reasons. One, it was just we started getting more
- 4:32Speaker 1: guest opportunities. And so that was nice. And then two,
- 4:37Speaker 1: I was just kind of exhausted, I think, like burnt out.
- 4:43Speaker 1: And so it was hard for me to get into
- 4:45Speaker 1: a space where I just felt like I could just
- 4:48Speaker 1: have a fun, normal conversation or where I could just
- 4:52Speaker 1: drop into my thoughts or feelings easily. Every week was just,
- 4:58Speaker 1: everything was just kind of like a lot. And I
- 5:02Speaker 1: honestly want to apologize for that. Not like I need
- 5:05Speaker 1: to apologize for it, but this is the kind of
- 5:08Speaker 1: stuff that's most important to me is having episodes like
- 5:12Speaker 1: this and uh, just solo episodes. And so, um, I'm
- 5:18Speaker 1: going to do a better job of that. Uh, I'm
- 5:20Speaker 1: not going to put like a number on myself or anything,
- 5:22Speaker 1: but I'm going to do a better job of keeping
- 5:24Speaker 1: that going, um, over the rest of the year. So
- 5:27Speaker 1: I'm looking forward to that. And, um, as always, you can,
- 5:30Speaker 1: you know, hit the hotline if there's something going on, uh,
- 5:32Speaker 1: 985-664-9503 is the hotline number. Um, Yeah, we hit 500 episodes. That's...
- 5:46Speaker 1: I can't. That's 500 episodes, dude. That's unreal. Let me
- 5:54Speaker 1: look back at one of the first episodes. Here we go.
- 5:58Speaker 1: Let's listen to the beginning of the first episode. Wow, dude,
- 6:01Speaker 1: it was seven years ago. And this is this past weekend.
- 6:06Speaker 1: It's the first one I ever done. The first one.
- 6:11Speaker 1: I'm seeing how it goes. I'm literally sitting in my
- 6:14Speaker 1: closet right now in my apartment in Los Angeles. I
- 6:22Speaker 1: hung some blankets up on the walls. I don't even
- 6:24Speaker 1: know if that's how you make a sound area for recording.
- 6:29Speaker 1: I have a luggage bag laying on its side like
- 6:34Speaker 1: it was a casualty of war. And then I have
- 6:36Speaker 1: this microphone sitting on top of it.
- 6:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:39Speaker 4: Wow.
- 6:40Speaker 1: That's wild. That's wild, man. Just to think that we
- 6:44Speaker 1: got to 500 episodes and you just said that that's
- 6:47Speaker 1: how it began was in that closet. Just a little
- 6:49Speaker 1: fella in the closet, dude. And that is not a euphemism, bro.
- 6:53Speaker 1: That was just audio documented the fact that it was
- 6:56Speaker 1: actually a man physically in a closet. A straight man.
- 7:01Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 7:03Speaker 1: And I turned over a piece of luggage and I
- 7:05Speaker 1: set the camera or the audio mic up on the
- 7:09Speaker 1: on top of it. And it was just an audio podcast. Yeah,
- 7:14Speaker 1: and then there was, I remember we had the first jingle.
- 7:19Speaker 1: If we can play that, the intro. Let me find
- 7:22Speaker 1: it here. At the beginning of this episode, this was
- 7:31Speaker 1: our early intro right here. Welcome to This Past Weekend.
- 7:36Speaker 1: This Past Weekend. This Past Weekend. Welcome to This Past Weekend.
- 7:41Speaker 1: Let's connect that boom boom. What's up you chinchillarellas? Bienvenidos
- 7:45Speaker 1: este fin de semana pasado. This Past Weekend. Yeah, so
- 7:53Speaker 1: at some point I started taping in my kitchen and
- 8:00Speaker 1: that was for six months. For six months I was
- 8:04Speaker 1: taping in my kitchen and We had some producers that
- 8:07Speaker 1: we met that I met online. I don't even remember.
- 8:11Speaker 1: I don't think. Did you come help me in my kitchen, Nick?
- 8:14Speaker 3: Yeah, one time.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Oh, you did?
- 8:18Speaker 4: Wow.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Thank you. Yeah, we did it in the kitchen for
- 8:24Speaker 1: about six months. And I remember I would stay up
- 8:26Speaker 1: for a while in the beginning. I would just edit
- 8:27Speaker 1: it myself and put it up. And then I would
- 8:31Speaker 1: keep my girlfriend up. She's like, what are you doing?
- 8:33Speaker 1: And I'd be sitting there just making sure everything made
- 8:36Speaker 1: sense online. That was pretty wild. And then there was
- 8:44Speaker 1: a guy, there was a company called Gray Block Pizza.
- 8:47Speaker 1: And I met the owner, Thomas, and he started advertising.
- 8:54Speaker 1: He was our first advertiser on the podcast. This was
- 8:56Speaker 1: the ad read right here. This week's episode brought to
- 9:00Speaker 1: you by Gray Block Pizza at 1811 Pico Boulevard in
- 9:04Speaker 1: Los Angeles on the way to the beach. You headed
- 9:07Speaker 1: to the sunshine. You want some sand in your feet
- 9:09Speaker 1: on the way there. Stop in. Get that Italian mouthful.
- 9:12Speaker 1: You know, Gray Block. Get that hitter. And he said,
- 9:17Speaker 1: you should get a studio. He said, with the ad money,
- 9:21Speaker 1: you should get a studio. And then that's what we did. So.
- 9:25Speaker 1: the fighter and the kid had an old studio. We,
- 9:27Speaker 1: we took their old spot. They had moved to a
- 9:30Speaker 1: bigger one next door. And then we started getting more
- 9:33Speaker 1: regular guests. We got, uh, Chris Ryan came in and, uh,
- 9:39Speaker 1: Jay Moore, Jeannie bus, Dustin Poirier, uh, D Snyder. We
- 9:45Speaker 1: had Eddie Bravo, Jamie Kennedy.
- 9:48Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 9:49Speaker 1: A uneven Steven. He was a homeless guy. And, you
- 10:00Speaker 1: it just continued to build from there. We had a
- 10:02Speaker 1: blind person come on. Michael Bisping came in there. Jordan
- 10:06Speaker 1: Peterson came in.
- 10:11Speaker 6: Who else?
- 10:11Speaker 1: Bobby Lee. It just kept going. Or we just kept
- 10:15Speaker 1: doing it. You know, there were times when it was
- 10:18Speaker 1: good and times when it wasn't going good. It was
- 10:21Speaker 1: always going good. It was just going. That's really the truth.
- 10:25Speaker 1: And we just kept doing it. You know, we just
- 10:29Speaker 1: kept doing it. And I've had a great group of
- 10:32Speaker 1: producers over the years that have helped. Nick Davis was
- 10:38Speaker 1: really the starting producer. And he's back with us now.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Zach Powers is... Um, one of our lead producers now,
- 10:49Speaker 1: Colin Reiner, Ben Becker, Ari Maness has stepped in to
- 10:54Speaker 1: help produce episodes when we're traveling on the road. Uh,
- 10:58Speaker 1: this guy, Chris, Shy Chris, we called him really amazing dude. Um,
- 11:04Speaker 1: my buddy, um, Sherb, there was this dude for a
- 11:09Speaker 1: little while we were in between studios and I would
- 11:13Speaker 1: tape at his studio at night. And he overdosed a
- 11:18Speaker 1: few years ago, but I keep him in my heart, man.
- 11:21Speaker 1: He's a guy that helped me get through weeks where
- 11:24Speaker 1: there wouldn't have been an episode. There was times I
- 11:28Speaker 1: remember I did it in my car a few times
- 11:30Speaker 1: in the middle of the night in a driveway somewhere
- 11:33Speaker 1: in Illinois one time. I needed to get an episode out.
- 11:36Speaker 1: All right, I'm coming to you live from a Nissan
- 11:39Speaker 1: Sentra about 20 miles from the nearest internet station. It
- 11:43Speaker 1: is dark out here, dude. I mean, you can't, you
- 11:49Speaker 1: can't see nothing. I mean, the devil could be just
- 11:53Speaker 1: smelling the cinnamon stains on your skin and you wouldn't
- 11:58Speaker 1: know he's right next to you. And then just people
- 12:01Speaker 1: would make beautiful art and really, there was just, it's
- 12:05Speaker 1: just been a really amazing world and I'll have to
- 12:06Speaker 1: go over some of that in the future. There's a
- 12:09Speaker 1: guy that made these really cool cards and he would,
- 12:13Speaker 1: Whenever we would do an episode, he would do an outline,
- 12:16Speaker 1: like a stetching or whatever, a stetching of the person,
- 12:21Speaker 1: the guest who'd been on. And he made a great
- 12:25Speaker 1: collection of those for us. I'll make sure to put
- 12:28Speaker 1: it in on the YouTubes so you can see it.
- 12:31Speaker 1: But we moved into another studio and we were there
- 12:34Speaker 1: for a few years. And then finally we're in even
- 12:38Speaker 1: a new studio now. And so it's just been a,
- 12:40Speaker 1: it's been an evolution and, uh, it's been really crazy,
- 12:45Speaker 1: you know, and it's been, you know, it's something that
- 12:48Speaker 1: really started like just, uh, it was kind of just
- 12:51Speaker 1: talking about stuff and then guys connecting about things. A
- 12:54Speaker 1: lot of fellas and sometimes even women were connecting, you know,
- 12:58Speaker 1: I remember one woman called in once and a man
- 13:02Speaker 1: had taught, had like, uh, like touched her, she had
- 13:08Speaker 1: her and her, her, her guy, like they were dating
- 13:10Speaker 1: and some fella had touched her vagina in a empty
- 13:13Speaker 1: refrigerator box. And that was just, that's when I knew
- 13:19Speaker 1: like we were definitely on to something, you know, we
- 13:22Speaker 1: were doing something right. Just cause there was an element
- 13:25Speaker 1: of mystery there. There was like a missing appliance. There
- 13:30Speaker 1: was sexual touching. There was sexual tension. It was, And
- 13:37Speaker 1: I think she was even a redhead. So I remember
- 13:41Speaker 1: that moment was pretty solid. Other moments, the fellow that
- 13:47Speaker 1: got hit by the train, Dalton, I think was his name.
- 13:51Speaker 1: I remember that, baby.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Two trains!
- 13:54Speaker 1: And he even said, he said, look, if God wants
- 13:56Speaker 1: that train to hit me again, I'm ready. I'm ready
- 13:59Speaker 1: to be hit again by a locomotive. And that's when
- 14:04Speaker 1: I just said, damn, we're really doing something here. You know,
- 14:08Speaker 1: and yeah, it's just been a special time. It's been
- 14:10Speaker 1: amazing to have this opportunity.
- 14:12Speaker 6: And I.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Don't know if I'm just sounding like just like a
- 14:17Speaker 1: mechanical bull or whatever. Yeah, this podcast, it's just given
- 14:23Speaker 1: me so many more opportunities than ever thought. You know,
- 14:27Speaker 1: it's given me opportunities to talk with strangers about stuff
- 14:31Speaker 1: that's real. It's given me the opportunity to talk with
- 14:37Speaker 1: people I really look up to and admire, um, with
- 14:41Speaker 1: stuff that's real and not real and fun, it's given
- 14:44Speaker 1: me a chance to learn a lot about myself. Um,
- 14:50Speaker 1: and yeah, that's what I wanted to be moving forward. And, uh,
- 14:54Speaker 1: I wanted to do a solo episode sooner for episode 500,
- 14:57Speaker 1: but it just didn't shake out that way. And, and
- 15:01Speaker 1: I didn't stress myself about it. I didn't go over
- 15:03Speaker 1: like I got, you know, I just said, look, when,
- 15:05Speaker 1: when the time is right, it'll be, you'll get it right.
- 15:09Speaker 1: And even today we started out an hour and a
- 15:11Speaker 1: half late because it was some technical issues here, but
- 15:15Speaker 1: that's okay. Here we are, you know, and, um, and
- 15:20Speaker 1: I'm just, yeah, I just want to say thank you
- 15:22Speaker 1: to everybody for just listening, contributing. So many people I
- 15:27Speaker 1: run into, they're like, man, I sent in a voicemail
- 15:29Speaker 1: or I did this or I did that. And, and
- 15:31Speaker 1: I try to get back to as many as we can. And, and, um,
- 15:35Speaker 1: It's just been a lot. It's been a lot to
- 15:36Speaker 1: learn as things have gotten busier and just some of
- 15:39Speaker 1: the fun moments we've gotten to have and some of
- 15:41Speaker 1: the real moments. Yeah, this podcast has just given me
- 15:51Speaker 1: a lot of life. It's given me a job to
- 15:55Speaker 1: go to every week, which I think has probably kept
- 15:59Speaker 1: me off of like, probably using drugs sometimes because I
- 16:03Speaker 1: knew I had to be here the next day or
- 16:06Speaker 1: I knew I had to be ready for a guest. Um,
- 16:10Speaker 1: so just thank you for tuning in, man. You guys,
- 16:13Speaker 1: I think, you know, honestly, I think there's times where
- 16:15Speaker 1: you guys have saved my life. Cause I know that
- 16:18Speaker 1: just having that one thing on the docket, like, okay,
- 16:20Speaker 1: I'm going to be able to, you know, uh, I
- 16:22Speaker 1: can't go out. I can't do this tonight. I got,
- 16:25Speaker 1: I got to work tomorrow and looking forward to my,
- 16:28Speaker 1: to my work, looking forward to being able to meet
- 16:30Speaker 1: up and and be here. And, um, yeah, and we
- 16:34Speaker 1: want the show to evolve and be different. Uh, worked
- 16:37Speaker 1: really hard in the last year or two to try to, um,
- 16:42Speaker 1: spend my spare time going to meet guests and have conversations,
- 16:50Speaker 1: get to talk with some of my heroes as they've
- 16:51Speaker 1: gotten older. Uh, and it's just, yeah, just thank you.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Thank you to everybody who's, um, who's contributed in some way,
- 17:00Speaker 1: whether it be a call or listening or a message
- 17:06Speaker 1: or just being a human being and letting me just
- 17:10Speaker 1: exist in your ears at some point, whether you liked
- 17:13Speaker 1: what I had to say or didn't, um, just thanks
- 17:16Speaker 1: for letting me, uh, visit with you for a little.
- 17:20Speaker 1: And I mean that, man, I love you guys. And, um, yeah,
- 17:23Speaker 1: that's how I feel. I don't want to make a
- 17:24Speaker 1: crazy thing out of it, but everybody kept saying it's 500.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Who are you going to have on, you know, People
- 17:29Speaker 1: are like, who you going to have on, dude? Teddy Ruxpin, right? Pikachu.
- 17:34Speaker 1: But yeah, you should have Theodore Roosevelt on. You should
- 17:37Speaker 1: have Amelia Earhart on. You should have on Jack and Jill,
- 17:44Speaker 1: Rob Ford, Punxsutawney Phil, Uncle Phil, Frederick Douglass, right? Who
- 17:52Speaker 1: you going to have people, everybody, who you going to
- 17:54Speaker 1: have on, you know? The Aurora Borealas. You know, everybody
- 18:00Speaker 1: just had a different idea, you know. Have on a
- 18:04Speaker 1: Trank dealer, you know. Have on Elon. Have on DaBaby.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Everybody had a different idea. Have on Kaisana. Have on Kaisana.
- 18:19Speaker 1: All of them. Get them all on, they said. And
- 18:23Speaker 1: I said, well, I don't know. And then it came
- 18:27Speaker 1: and went, and then now here we are. And I
- 18:29Speaker 1: don't even know what episode it is, 500 and something,
- 18:31Speaker 1: but I'm grateful to be here with you guys, man.
- 18:34Speaker 1: I'm grateful to be here. Maybe just a gaggle of pigeons.
- 18:38Speaker 1: You know, that's what I am sometimes. Dude, I looked
- 18:40Speaker 1: at a damn pigeon the other day, and let's be honest, bro.
- 18:43Speaker 1: These bitches are, they don't have any shoulders, bro. Right?
- 18:49Speaker 1: So right out the gate, you know they fucking probably,
- 18:54Speaker 1: you know, they're lying about a lot of shit. And
- 18:58Speaker 1: they just kind of, they fucking, they look like they've
- 19:02Speaker 1: been smoking too. A lot of pigeons are just doves
- 19:06Speaker 1: that smoke. That's it, dude. If you want to know
- 19:11Speaker 1: what smoking will do to your lungs, look at a
- 19:13Speaker 1: dove and then look at a pigeon, baby. Look at
- 19:19Speaker 1: a fucking pigeon, dude. Pigeons are just doves that, you know,
- 19:24Speaker 1: probably were raised in Philadelphia or something. Dude, don't lie
- 19:29Speaker 1: to me that pigeons aren't from Philadelphia, okay, and New Jersey.
- 19:36Speaker 1: You could look at a pigeon easy, dude. There's like
- 19:40Speaker 1: 70 videos of pigeons trying to smoke online. You telling
- 19:45Speaker 1: me that's a coincidence? Get smacked, homie. Them bitches are
- 19:50Speaker 1: from Jersey and Philly. They can't even fly. Someone walked
- 19:55Speaker 1: down to New Orleans and Houston. And they're down there
- 20:01Speaker 1: sipping out of puddles. You know, eating gum. There's a
- 20:06Speaker 1: picture of a, Pigeon eating gum online. There's a video
- 20:10Speaker 1: of a pigeon eating gum. They don't give a fuck, dude.
- 20:15Speaker 1: They can't fly. Imagine watching a pigeon walk. They walk
- 20:20Speaker 1: at night because they're, I think, ashamed of kind of
- 20:22Speaker 1: how their body is. But a lot of them walk
- 20:25Speaker 1: at night down south to fucking party. Because you know
- 20:30Speaker 1: every puddle in New Orleans has booze in it. Them
- 20:35Speaker 1: fucking puddles are 12 proof, homie. Dude, you hit a pothole, bro,
- 20:41Speaker 1: and your fucking, your tire will be like. Your tire
- 20:47Speaker 1: will want another sip. Your tire will cruise into another
- 20:50Speaker 1: pothole just to get another little slurp off that 12
- 20:54Speaker 1: proof water, baby. Everything down there got booze in it. Yeah,
- 20:59Speaker 1: every pigeon should have to wear an Eagles jersey. That's
- 21:02Speaker 1: a fact. Every pigeon should have to wear an Eagles jersey. Dude,
- 21:08Speaker 1: I was at the doctor the other day. I saw
- 21:10Speaker 1: a pigeon there. What kind of bird goes to the doctor?
- 21:18Speaker 1: Not one of God's birds, buddy. Pigeons, dirt birds, dick chickens.
- 21:28Speaker 1: That's all they are, bro. That's all they are.
- 21:35Speaker 4: Pigeons.
- 21:35Speaker 3: Pigeons.
- 21:36Speaker 1: Menthol spunk hens. Park oysters, dude. That's all they are,
- 21:42Speaker 1: is damn land oysters. That's what they are. So we
- 21:50Speaker 1: got to recognize that kind of shit. So you just
- 21:52Speaker 1: got to recognize, some guy the other day was showing
- 21:56Speaker 1: his son a pigeon. And I was like, you don't
- 22:04Speaker 1: show your son A pigeon. Okay? You don't show your
- 22:10Speaker 1: son a pigeon. You show your son a damn eagle.
- 22:16Speaker 1: Or an egret. Or a flamingo, dude. A gay egret.
- 22:22Speaker 1: But you don't show your son a pigeon. Unless you're lazy.
- 22:27Speaker 1: You take your son to the damn dove park. Drive
- 22:30Speaker 1: behind a church. And when the doves get off work,
- 22:34Speaker 1: introduce your sons. to a decent bird you piece of
- 22:39Speaker 1: shit sorry and I'm sorry about that language but yeah
- 22:43Speaker 1: I saw some guy the other day introducing his son
- 22:45Speaker 1: to a couple pigeons in a park fucking a lot
- 22:48Speaker 1: of pigeons are bookies look under their wing jets minus
- 22:54Speaker 1: seven it'll say so what's been going on hit the
- 23:00Speaker 1: hotline man let me know I want to know who
- 23:02Speaker 1: listens you know I want to know who listens to
- 23:05Speaker 1: the show We had a call that came in right here.
- 23:08Speaker 6: Hey, me, my twin brother and my cousin are all mailmen.
- 23:17Speaker 6: And you've been doing the series where, you know, you
- 23:20Speaker 6: did the garbage man and, you know, a police officer.
- 23:23Speaker 6: You know, if you want to do a mailman, let
- 23:25Speaker 6: us know. You know, we're more than welcome. You know,
- 23:28Speaker 6: we come down, we'll take care of business. That's all
- 23:30Speaker 6: I'm saying.
- 23:31Speaker 1: Okay.
- 23:34Speaker 7: Listen, I named my son.
- 23:36Speaker 6: My second son, Theo, after you. You are just the
- 23:40Speaker 6: funniest person I've ever heard.
- 23:42Speaker 1: Well, I'll say this, brother. Thank you, first of all,
- 23:44Speaker 1: for delivering mail, right? Delivering mail. And it used to be, actually,
- 23:49Speaker 1: a lot of mailmen were really tough men. You would
- 23:55Speaker 1: see them with knee pads on, elbow pads, eating creatine.
- 24:00Speaker 1: And they would roll into the neighborhood and really deliver
- 24:04Speaker 1: some mail. That's back when there was tons of mail.
- 24:08Speaker 1: Every mailman looked like Santa. Everyone, and they'd roll up
- 24:13Speaker 1: and they'd knock on the door and the women would
- 24:15Speaker 1: be home. And they'd say, you want some of this mail?
- 24:23Speaker 1: And it was a euphemism. It could have meant, do
- 24:25Speaker 1: you want some of this masculine energy? Do you want
- 24:28Speaker 1: some of this man to come in with this little
- 24:31Speaker 1: man wand on him? and just hogwarts that frickin' little coochah,
- 24:37Speaker 1: that little cootah, that cootah, that stay-at-home cootah. Or it
- 24:45Speaker 1: also meant, do you want some mail? Do you want
- 24:46Speaker 1: information from the outside world? Do you want perfume samples?
- 24:51Speaker 1: Do you want the government to be harassing you? Do
- 24:55Speaker 1: you want a, you're late for your Verizon bill? Do
- 24:58Speaker 1: you want mail? And there was a lot of options
- 25:01Speaker 1: through the mail at that time. Thank you. I'm glad
- 25:04Speaker 1: to know that you guys are mailmen. And I love that.
- 25:07Speaker 1: I love that, dude. This is almost the saving private
- 25:10Speaker 1: Ryan of letter carrying right here. That you don't let
- 25:14Speaker 1: your brother go out into that communication war zone alone.
- 25:25Speaker 1: That's what I love about it. Because a lot of people,
- 25:29Speaker 1: they're like, yeah, my brother's a mailman. Like your brother's
- 25:31Speaker 1: a mail. And what, you're not out there with him?
- 25:33Speaker 1: You're not out there monitoring, working the flank, seeing if
- 25:38Speaker 1: dogs are attacking him. You know? You're not out there helping,
- 25:45Speaker 1: giving him guidance. There's a ring camera. There's a bee's nest.
- 25:50Speaker 1: There's an angry resident. You're not out there. We got
- 25:57Speaker 1: FedEx on the left. FedEx on the left.
- 26:02Speaker 6: Know what?
- 26:03Speaker 1: UPS just rolled in.
- 26:06Speaker 5: Abort.
- 26:07Speaker 1: Mayday, mayday. We got you. Oh my God, DHL is here.
- 26:13Speaker 1: Who the fuck are they? You got to be out
- 26:17Speaker 1: there with your brother. You don't send your brother to
- 26:20Speaker 1: do mail by himself. So I love that. But I
- 26:24Speaker 1: want to know who listens to the podcast. 985-664-9503 as always.
- 26:26Speaker 1: You can hit the hotline. And just say, hey, my
- 26:33Speaker 1: name is blank, and I am a blank, and I
- 26:38Speaker 1: listen to the podcast. That's all you got to say.
- 26:40Speaker 1: I just want to know who's out there. If somebody's
- 26:43Speaker 1: out there, if you're a door-to-door salesman, if you are
- 26:47Speaker 1: a preacher, if you are someone who carries children for
- 26:55Speaker 1: moms that can't, if you are a... If you're an
- 27:05Speaker 1: arborist like my brother, a tree climber, a tree cutter.
- 27:12Speaker 1: If you are a nurse like my sister. If you
- 27:18Speaker 1: are an Amazon delivery person like my mother. Yeah, just
- 27:23Speaker 1: what do you do? I would just like to know. Yeah.
- 27:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:29Speaker 8: Sorry.
- 27:29Speaker 1: I don't know if I've seen them all over the
- 27:30Speaker 1: place yet. I just haven't done this in a while.
- 27:33Speaker 1: It feels new. You know, it's almost like wearing a condom, dude,
- 27:37Speaker 1: to be honest with you. And so I don't know
- 27:40Speaker 1: who said that. Damn AI. What else do we have
- 27:48Speaker 1: going on? I thank you, Ian, and thank you for
- 27:50Speaker 1: delivering that mail, and thank you for not letting your
- 27:51Speaker 1: brother go out there alone. Thank you for not letting
- 27:56Speaker 1: your brother go out there alone, dude. Today's episode is

- 29:00Speaker 1: pornography causing a problem in your life? That's a good question.
- 29:04Speaker 1: It's a real question. It has in mine. It has
- 29:07Speaker 1: at certain periods in my life. Watching porno and everything
- 29:13Speaker 1: and watching porno was making me, it was ruining my life.
- 29:17Speaker 1: It was ruining my life, man. Made me feel just
- 29:19Speaker 1: so much shame. That's what it did. Well, watching pornography
- 29:23Speaker 1: has become commonplace today. And oftentimes men will use porno
- 29:28Speaker 1: to numb the pain of loneliness, boredom, anxiety, and depression.
- 29:33Speaker 1: That's all I want to introduce you to my friend,
- 29:36Speaker 1: Stephen Walt. Steve is the founder of Valor Recovery. He
- 29:40Speaker 1: is a dear friend of mine. He is a dear
- 29:43Speaker 1: friend of mine. And Valor Recovery is a program to

- 30:32Speaker 1: But I promise you, only something positive will come from
- 30:37Speaker 1: you reaching out and figuring out what type of help,
- 30:41Speaker 1: if any, could benefit you. Thank you. What's been happening?
- 30:47Speaker 1: What have I been doing? A lot of stuff, man.
- 30:49Speaker 1: I'm going to Europe coming up to some shows. Some
- 30:52Speaker 1: people are upset. You're not coming here. My friend is
- 30:56Speaker 1: getting married, and so I'm going to his wedding. And
- 31:02Speaker 1: then I'm just trying to put some shows over while
- 31:04Speaker 1: I'm over there. And just, yeah, I'm excited about it.
- 31:08Speaker 1: And what do I feel? Yeah, it'll be good, you know.
- 31:12Speaker 5: So.
- 31:13Speaker 1: just to get some different spots over there. And, and yeah,
- 31:16Speaker 1: there's still a lot of spots to go. And yeah,
- 31:20Speaker 1: I'm happy to be here in Austin this week, working
- 31:21Speaker 1: on some material and well, let's get into a call
- 31:30Speaker 1: or two and I'll share in between.
- 31:34Speaker 7: What up Theo?
- 31:35Speaker 6: Elijah, I'm from Indiana.
- 31:37Speaker 3: And I came, came on a hotline.
- 31:41Speaker 6: I have a little problem.
- 31:43Speaker 7: See if I can get a little bit of advice. So,
- 31:45Speaker 7: you know, I've been seeing this girl for a little bit. And,
- 31:50Speaker 7: you know, we're kind of dating now.
- 31:53Speaker 6: You know, we're dating.
- 31:54Speaker 7: Type shit.
- 31:55Speaker 8: So.
- 31:56Speaker 1: Dating type shit.
- 32:00Speaker 8: Onward. You know, we've been going out for a minute.
- 32:03Speaker 7: And, you know, when you get to know somebody, you
- 32:07Speaker 7: get to know, like, everybody you know.
- 32:08Speaker 6: They've been with.
- 32:08Speaker 4: You know?
- 32:10Speaker 7: And she's been with quite a few people.
- 32:12Speaker 2: A lot more than me.
- 32:13Speaker 7: So, like, when she told me, like, my heart just broke, man. Like,
- 32:18Speaker 7: driving home that night was the worst feeling I've ever had.
- 32:21Speaker 7: One of the worst days of my life, man. Some
- 32:23Speaker 7: of the people she told.
- 32:24Speaker 6: Me were just outrageous, man. Some of my homies, like, people.
- 32:27Speaker 7: I fuck with and then, you know, just.
- 32:29Speaker 6: Some random, like, what the fuck, you know? So, man,
- 32:32Speaker 6: I just need your.
- 32:33Speaker 7: Advice on how to take care of that as a
- 32:35Speaker 7: man because I'm really struggling to try to get past it.
- 32:38Speaker 7: And I know that it's something you can definitely get past.
- 32:43Speaker 6: And I was wondering if you had any advice.
- 32:45Speaker 1: Gang, baby, I appreciate that call, Elijah. And, dude, I'll
- 32:50Speaker 1: tell you, bro, I dated a girl who she worked
- 32:55Speaker 1: over at Charlie Queso's, Baby Chuck E. Cheese's. And she, dude,
- 33:02Speaker 1: she had racked up with everybody in there.
- 33:06Speaker 2: Okay.
- 33:07Speaker 1: She'd racked up with the, uh, the waiter, the, the
- 33:12Speaker 1: nearsighted chick that did the ticket. She hooked up with her,
- 33:16Speaker 1: the boss. Dude, I don't even know there was a
- 33:19Speaker 1: boss at Chuck E. Cheese's bro. The chef, she hooked
- 33:23Speaker 1: up with the chef, uh, Pascali that's in the band.
- 33:29Speaker 1: Not even the lead singer, not even the rap, not
- 33:33Speaker 1: even the mouse, the shit, the chef, the, The dude
- 33:37Speaker 1: that's like playing the triangle and like stirring the pot
- 33:40Speaker 1: or whatever, she hooked up with that guy. So it
- 33:44Speaker 1: was tough. I'd go meet her for work or pick
- 33:46Speaker 1: her up and it was like, I would go in
- 33:48Speaker 1: there and feel kind of embarrassed sometimes. But she was
- 33:52Speaker 1: actually a really cool girl, man. And sometimes I regret
- 33:55Speaker 1: that I wasn't brave enough to just kind of let
- 33:58Speaker 1: it be her past. You know, I kind of like,
- 34:03Speaker 1: I kept holding her past against her, and it made
- 34:05Speaker 1: it miserable for her, and it made it miserable for,
- 34:10Speaker 1: really just for us. Like, we couldn't, like, it was tough,
- 34:16Speaker 1: you know, because she could never, I never gave her
- 34:21Speaker 1: really room to, like, first of all, I shouldn't have
- 34:26Speaker 1: done it. I shouldn't have held her past against her,
- 34:28Speaker 1: and then I never gave her enough space. There was
- 34:30Speaker 1: never a way that she could make it up to
- 34:32Speaker 1: me because it's impossible to make up a past and
- 34:36Speaker 1: she shouldn't have to make it up to me. She
- 34:37Speaker 1: doesn't have to. So I kind of made it, everything
- 34:40Speaker 1: was always at a deficit. You know, I had an
- 34:43Speaker 1: unrealistic expectation. So yeah, so I wish that maybe I
- 34:51Speaker 1: had done that different. You know, maybe I'd been the
- 34:53Speaker 1: dude that rolls up with her and just rocks with
- 34:55Speaker 1: her and just respects her more. Here's what I'll say, man.
- 34:59Speaker 1: You can miss the good ones. And if she's an
- 35:02Speaker 1: awesome girl, man, then just be awesome with her. The
- 35:06Speaker 1: other stuff will go by the wayside. Because when you
- 35:09Speaker 1: get older, too, that shit doesn't matter, bro. Everybody's dated
- 35:13Speaker 1: or everybody's trans or whatever. You don't even know what's
- 35:16Speaker 1: going on, bro. You'll reach in somebody's pants and there's
- 35:19Speaker 1: just a damn scratch-off ticket in it. People don't even
- 35:22Speaker 1: have crotches anymore. It doesn't even matter. People are nearsighted, farsighted.
- 35:29Speaker 1: People don't even know what's going on. So I think
- 35:32Speaker 1: if you got a cool chick, lock it down because
- 35:34Speaker 1: it gets, there's not that many great ones out there.
- 35:40Speaker 1: You know, and if you got a good one, lock
- 35:41Speaker 1: her down and just be proud. That's my girl. But yeah,
- 35:45Speaker 1: holding that resentment, dude, if you hold a resentment against
- 35:47Speaker 1: somebody that there's no way they could, holding that resentment
- 35:51Speaker 1: is miserable because you're never going to let it go.
- 35:56Speaker 1: So I think you got to deal with that on
- 35:57Speaker 1: your side and then just show up to her like
- 35:59Speaker 1: a freaking man, you know? But I say, yeah, you know,
- 36:03Speaker 1: you can be the dude that rocks with her and
- 36:04Speaker 1: respects her. You could be that dude, bro. You could
- 36:08Speaker 1: be that dude. Because I believe that women are a
- 36:11Speaker 1: reflection of the men in their life. I really believe that.
- 36:18Speaker 1: So if you show up and you really lift a
- 36:20Speaker 1: lady up and you make her feel like something good
- 36:22Speaker 1: and you make her feel value, And you make her
- 36:27Speaker 1: feel important. If she's somebody you care about, you know,
- 36:32Speaker 1: then that's how they will be. I believe that. I
- 36:36Speaker 1: believe that women are a reflection of men, of the
- 36:40Speaker 1: men in their life. Now, I'm not saying I've had
- 36:43Speaker 1: the best luck or the most ability to be a
- 36:47Speaker 1: good boyfriend or whatever. So I don't even know if
- 36:51Speaker 1: I would listen to me, but I appreciate you asking. And, um, Yeah, man,
- 36:57Speaker 1: and if you love her, love her, bro, you know?
- 37:00Speaker 1: Don't miss the boat, homie, because the marina only gets smaller.
- 37:05Speaker 1: You feel me? Don't piss where you fish, homie, you
- 37:09Speaker 1: feel me? I don't know what the second one means,
- 37:11Speaker 1: but the first one I think is important.
- 37:18Speaker 4: What else?
- 37:19Speaker 1: I'm trying to think of things that happened. Oh, we
- 37:20Speaker 1: got to do the Morgan Wallen walkout at his show.
- 37:23Speaker 1: That was really interesting. Uh, I was so nervous, dude.
- 37:27Speaker 1: So I go, um, it was nice. And Morgan, he
- 37:32Speaker 1: texted me and asked me to go. Cause it's, you know,
- 37:33Speaker 1: it's like a thing that's just kind of like a
- 37:35Speaker 1: strange thing, but it's like a thing that everybody loves.
- 37:39Speaker 1: It's like that hype, you know, when they're doing Broadway
- 37:41Speaker 1: girls in the beginning. So I go and I get
- 37:46Speaker 1: there and I'm, I asked Morgan, I was like, do
- 37:48Speaker 1: we practice? And he just looked, he looked at me
- 37:50Speaker 1: like I was out of my.
- 37:52Speaker 2: Mind, bro.
- 37:54Speaker 1: Out of my mind. So we don't practice. We're just
- 37:58Speaker 1: all backstage. It was like his band, me, DeAndre Hopkins,
- 38:05Speaker 1: one of DeHop's boys, my friend Zita. A little group
- 38:10Speaker 1: was just back there just vibing, man. People are just
- 38:15Speaker 1: like listening. I don't know what it was. Listening to
- 38:18Speaker 1: music and just dancing and having fun. And then they're like, okay.
- 38:23Speaker 1: Let's go. And Morgan's just real casual about it, you know.
- 38:25Speaker 1: It's just him just walking into work. But, like, we–
- 38:29Speaker 1: and D-Hop was cool because he works at the stadium.
- 38:32Speaker 1: He works– he's an NFL athlete. So he'd been– he
- 38:37Speaker 1: comes out all the time of the tunnel. But I'd
- 38:39Speaker 1: never gotten to do it, you know. So I'm back there. I'm, like,
- 38:42Speaker 1: stretching and, you know, just looking in the mirror just
- 38:46Speaker 1: seeing how I'll, like, look when I walk. I had
- 38:49Speaker 1: a baseball bat at one point. I had a guitar.
- 38:53Speaker 1: And then I was like, what if I hit somebody
- 38:56Speaker 1: on accident or something goes wrong? What if I go
- 38:59Speaker 1: crazy and just run out on the stage and just
- 39:01Speaker 1: start damn playing some, um, uh, George Strait or something?
- 39:07Speaker 1: I just didn't want to, you know, freak out or
- 39:09Speaker 1: have do something, you know, cause I can't always rely
- 39:12Speaker 1: on myself. And so I didn't, so I just took
- 39:15Speaker 1: it easy and I didn't want to try to like,
- 39:18Speaker 1: you know, it's Morgan's show. So you don't want to
- 39:20Speaker 1: try and like, uh, you know, be too cool for school.
- 39:24Speaker 1: You're just happy to be there to support, you know,
- 39:26Speaker 1: just to be just supportive. So it was interesting, man.
- 39:32Speaker 1: And it was, it was really fun. And the craziest
- 39:34Speaker 1: part is you get to the end and he gets
- 39:36Speaker 1: to go perform. And me and DeAndre started kind of
- 39:39Speaker 1: walking up the ramp with him. Like we were like,
- 39:41Speaker 1: cause it's like, this is as close as I'm ever
- 39:45Speaker 1: going to get to being like a musical star this,
- 39:49Speaker 1: this moment. And it's not close at all. It's really
- 39:52Speaker 1: just helping a guy walk, right? But for me and DeAndre,
- 39:56Speaker 1: it was as close, bro. We were like, we started walking,
- 40:00Speaker 1: and then they're like, no, no, you too. And literally
- 40:03Speaker 1: just security shows up and just sent us to the
- 40:06Speaker 1: back and just made us stop, you know. I don't
- 40:09Speaker 1: think Morgan would have cared. I think he's just having
- 40:11Speaker 1: a good time. But, dude, it was just a bummer.
- 40:15Speaker 1: You want to go out there so bad. You just
- 40:17Speaker 1: want to be, you know. Everybody wants to be a
- 40:19Speaker 1: rock star. So that was something interesting that happened recently.
- 40:27Speaker 1: What else? I know it's been a while. I am sorry.
- 40:32Speaker 1: I do want to say I'm sorry about not doing
- 40:34Speaker 1: more solos. I have missed some of the connection. Just
- 40:37Speaker 1: a lot of things have been happening on my own
- 40:40Speaker 1: side of stuff. And it's just been a lot. Let's
- 40:44Speaker 1: get another call that came in here.
- 40:47Speaker 3: What's up, Theo? Man, this is Vlad.
- 40:50Speaker 1: What's up, Vlad? Thank you for calling, brother. And Vlad,
- 40:54Speaker 1: I believe, is Serbian. Onward.
- 40:58Speaker 3: Man, I took this girl home from the bar the
- 41:02Speaker 3: other night. I just, something caught me, you know. It
- 41:07Speaker 3: was just different, something different about her, you know. She
- 41:10Speaker 3: was kind of shy, but I liked her. So I
- 41:13Speaker 3: got her home, and something happened.
- 41:18Speaker 1: I got her home. You sound like a serial killer,
- 41:20Speaker 1: but let's hear more, brother. Sorry to interrupt you, but
- 41:26Speaker 1: just got scared for a second. But let's hear more. Onward, brother.
- 41:30Speaker 3: I got her home and something happened. It was just, man,
- 41:37Speaker 3: when we put her pants off, she had nipples on
- 41:40Speaker 3: her butt cheeks, man. It was so strange. I didn't
- 41:43Speaker 3: know how to feel about it.
- 41:46Speaker 1: Nipples on her butt cheeks. Wow. Oh, my.
- 41:52Speaker 8: Hmm.
- 41:54Speaker 3: Oh, my.
- 41:56Speaker 1: How to feel about it. Feel about it with them hands, baby.
- 41:58Speaker 1: What are you talking about? Those are extra tits, bro. Now,
- 42:02Speaker 1: I wouldn't motorboat them or you're going to end up
- 42:06Speaker 1: in some dirty oil. You feel me? But those are
- 42:09Speaker 1: extra tits, brother. That's those bumper lumps, homie. That's them
- 42:15Speaker 1: rear milk veneers, baby, you feel me? You might be
- 42:19Speaker 1: lactose intolerant if you can't handle them. Come on, baby.
- 42:24Speaker 1: The bear went over the mountain to see couple more mountains, dog.
- 42:30Speaker 1: You got to get back there, bub. Extra tits. And
- 42:35Speaker 1: you're complaining? Let me hear what else you have to
- 42:38Speaker 1: say about this. I can't even believe this is a
- 42:40Speaker 1: problem for someone. Finally, our prayers get answered. that a
- 42:44Speaker 1: woman has tits on her butt. You know how many
- 42:48Speaker 1: men have prayed for a woman to have tit on butt?
- 42:53Speaker 2: Huh?
- 42:55Speaker 1: You know how many men have prayed for a woman
- 42:58Speaker 1: to have tit on butt? And you're crying about it.
- 43:01Speaker 1: Let's hear more.
- 43:03Speaker 3: So strange. I didn't know how to feel about it.
- 43:06Speaker 3: So man, I was just curious. How would you feel
- 43:11Speaker 3: about that?
- 43:11Speaker 1: I mean, Well, I'll tell you this, dude. I would
- 43:17Speaker 1: feel very gracious about it, but that's what's going on, bro.
- 43:20Speaker 1: It's all merging now. Everything is a merger. Even the bodies,
- 43:26Speaker 1: the people, the animals. That's why you have male chickens
- 43:29Speaker 1: dropping off an egg, sneaking over. Trans birds. Every business
- 43:36Speaker 1: is a, it's all mixed. Buy, try, whatever. Everything is mixed.
- 43:42Speaker 1: You got butts with nipples on them. You got wieners
- 43:45Speaker 1: with milk in them. You got cankles, you got vajuckles.
- 43:49Speaker 1: It's like, it's like when you see a Taco Bell
- 43:51Speaker 1: that is merged with a Baskin-Robbins or a Long John
- 43:55Speaker 1: Silver's and A & W root beer. Um, you're going
- 43:59Speaker 1: to have Ihopplebees. You're going to have Wells Fargo, North Dakota.
- 44:04Speaker 1: You're going to have, um, Madison Square, Olive Garden, Fuddrucker Park.
- 44:10Speaker 1: It's all business. It's been bought and sold. It's not
- 44:15Speaker 1: real anymore. It's a male chicken walking over and dropping
- 44:20Speaker 1: off an egg. That's what it is. And the female
- 44:26Speaker 1: chicken is too busy on OnlyFans to do the eggs anymore.
- 44:36Speaker 1: It's a weird world. It's a wrap on the world
- 44:40Speaker 1: that we knew the final morph has begun. That's where
- 44:45Speaker 1: we are. Charlotte's Web, they couldn't even write it. They
- 44:48Speaker 1: couldn't even write the book again. Because the animals, a
- 44:53Speaker 1: lot of them are boycotting. Animals are boycotting. Like, what
- 44:56Speaker 1: the fuck are you talking about? Animals can't read. It's
- 45:02Speaker 1: a lot, guys. Let's get another call that came in, man.
- 45:06Speaker 2: Um.
- 45:07Speaker 1: Oh, I do want to say this. I want to
- 45:08Speaker 1: say happy belated Mother's Day. You know, I got to
- 45:10Speaker 1: surprise my mother, which was really cool. I got to
- 45:13Speaker 1: go to Tucson, Arizona, and she didn't know that I
- 45:20Speaker 1: was coming, so I got to knock on her door,
- 45:24Speaker 1: and she wasn't answering, and I'm like, oh, what is
- 45:26Speaker 1: going on? And then I'm like, oh, my God, what
- 45:29Speaker 1: if something happened, you know? And I look through, finally,
- 45:36Speaker 1: I look in the window because I didn't want her
- 45:37Speaker 1: to see me. I didn't want to give it away.
- 45:38Speaker 1: I look through the window and in the shades through there,
- 45:42Speaker 1: in the backyard, I could see her laying out in
- 45:44Speaker 1: the backyard and probably having a cold beer back there.
- 45:48Speaker 1: My mom would like to lay out. She'd get in
- 45:50Speaker 1: that polka dot bikini over there and lay out a little.
- 45:54Speaker 1: And if we came by her, she would curse at us.
- 45:58Speaker 1: And when I was a child anyway, and the chair was,
- 46:01Speaker 1: she would always put it, part of our apartment complex
- 46:04Speaker 1: was sinking in the mud. You know, so it was
- 46:07Speaker 1: just over time, it was fucking, you know, one of
- 46:11Speaker 1: your legs didn't even get a lot of use because
- 46:13Speaker 1: there was, the downhill leg had most of the traction
- 46:16Speaker 1: on it. And, but mom would be out there in
- 46:20Speaker 1: that mud and after about a half hour, her chair
- 46:22Speaker 1: would have to sunk halfway down in there. And so
- 46:25Speaker 1: then we'd try to go help her and she would
- 46:27Speaker 1: just curse at us sometimes and yell at us and stuff. But,
- 46:32Speaker 1: But she was having some beer and you had to
- 46:34Speaker 1: just be supportive at those times. What else? Oh, let's
- 46:43Speaker 1: take a couple more calls that came in. Oh, but yeah,
- 46:45Speaker 1: so we got to go. We went out to lunch
- 46:48Speaker 1: in Tucson at a place. We got to go to
- 46:56Speaker 1: two places. We got to go to a place called
- 46:58Speaker 1: Hacienda del Sol, which was really just the really nice staff,
- 47:02Speaker 1: beautiful people and just peaceful, beautiful. And so that was nice. Um, and, uh,
- 47:11Speaker 1: and then we got to also go to wildflower, which
- 47:15Speaker 1: is a restaurant I used to work at a long
- 47:17Speaker 1: time ago when I lived in Tucson. Um, out there,
- 47:22Speaker 1: I went to Santa Rita high school out there and
- 47:24Speaker 1: it was a lot of, uh, Mexicans, um, just basically
- 47:28Speaker 1: just kind of beating each other in, um, in, uh,
- 47:33Speaker 1: abandoned car washes and stuff like that after school. But, um,
- 47:38Speaker 1: beautiful area though, otherwise outside of that. And even some
- 47:41Speaker 1: of the gangs, you know, they not bad. Um, I
- 47:45Speaker 1: wish gangs had like more mascots. I wish gangs like
- 47:49Speaker 1: did went the extra mile sometimes to create more of
- 47:52Speaker 1: an ambiance, like a t-shirt cannon or something, you know,
- 47:55Speaker 1: at least then it would be like the people in
- 47:57Speaker 1: the area could have more fun. Um, What else? A
- 48:02Speaker 1: lot of breast calls and stuff. Let's see what else
- 48:07Speaker 1: came in. Here we go.
- 48:09Speaker 7: Call him and ask for some advice, okay?
- 48:17Speaker 1: Onward, brother. Thanks for the call.
- 48:21Speaker 7: Broke your sobriety of four months.
- 48:23Speaker 2: Okay.
- 48:23Speaker 7: Let's hear more. I mean, I'm not proud about it,
- 48:34Speaker 7: but I just found myself using again. What's it called?
- 48:40Speaker 7: I mean, I'm a little disappointed in myself, but I
- 48:44Speaker 7: think I just found myself addicted again and falling back
- 48:50Speaker 7: on using drugs to cope with things.
- 48:54Speaker 1: Falling back on using drugs to cope with things. Yeah, man,
- 48:57Speaker 1: I can certainly. Well, once you kind of, you know,
- 49:01Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know if I'm coping with things
- 49:02Speaker 1: or if I'm just, like, I'm addicted, you know? Uh-huh.
- 49:10Speaker 7: I mean, I don't know if I'm coping with things
- 49:13Speaker 7: or if I'm just.
- 49:16Speaker 7: Like, I'm addicted, you know? I don't know, man.
- 49:22Speaker 1: Man, that's a great question. You know, am I coping
- 49:25Speaker 1: with stuff or am I addicted? Hmm. It's hard to
- 49:29Speaker 1: know if you're... That's a great question. It's hard to
- 49:31Speaker 1: know if you're just coping or if you're an addict.
- 49:36Speaker 1: I guess if I'm just coping... Well, I think the
- 49:39Speaker 1: thing is if you're using drugs and alcohol to cope,
- 49:43Speaker 1: then some of that's fine. But if you're overdoing it,
- 49:46Speaker 1: then it's not fine. And I think if you start
- 49:48Speaker 1: to wonder if you're an addict, then I'm not saying
- 49:53Speaker 1: you are an addict, but I remember one time I
- 49:55Speaker 1: was driving around AA houses, like around the buildings, and
- 49:58Speaker 1: I was talking to my brother on the phone one time.
- 50:01Speaker 1: And he's like, what are you up to? I was like,
- 50:02Speaker 1: I'm just driving around this AA meeting. He's like, what
- 50:05Speaker 1: do you, what do you mean? I said, well, there's
- 50:08Speaker 1: an AA meeting by my apartment, and it's really cool.
- 50:11Speaker 1: And sometimes I'll come and drive around it. And he goes, well,
- 50:16Speaker 1: I'm not trying to label you or call you out.
- 50:18Speaker 1: He goes, but I said, you know who's not? He goes,
- 50:22Speaker 1: you know who's not driving around an AA meeting?
- 50:23Speaker 8: I said, who?
- 50:24Speaker 1: He goes, people who are sure they don't have a problem.
- 50:30Speaker 1: And he was right. I mean, I'd kind of go
- 50:32Speaker 1: over by and damn peek in the building, peek in
- 50:34Speaker 1: the windows and shit. You know, and so at that
- 50:39Speaker 1: point for me, it was like, I just had to
- 50:40Speaker 1: look at my actions and not my thoughts. I was like,
- 50:44Speaker 1: my actions, if I'm driving in a circle around an
- 50:47Speaker 1: AA meeting in its parking lot, out to the street,
- 50:50Speaker 1: back around in the parking lot, out to the, then
- 50:54Speaker 1: that's my action. And it's a little, you know, it's
- 50:57Speaker 1: a lot, but it's given me some signs. So I
- 51:02Speaker 1: wouldn't be hard on yourself though, man. Give yourself some grace, brother.
- 51:05Speaker 1: You had four months sober. That's incredible. Four months. Have
- 51:10Speaker 1: anybody do anything for four months. Anything. Extremely hard. Extremely hard.
- 51:20Speaker 1: So give yourself some grace, you know. But I think
- 51:23Speaker 1: you just have to ask yourself. And you'll know the answer.
- 51:29Speaker 1: And then I think you have to make a choice.
- 51:30Speaker 1: Like some guys will hit me up and be like,
- 51:33Speaker 1: I can't quit. Do I need to go to AA meetings?
- 51:35Speaker 1: Like if you actually have a dependency on drugs or alcohol,
- 51:39Speaker 1: then you probably have to go to a detox. And
- 51:41Speaker 1: then you could get into maybe a sober living or
- 51:45Speaker 1: just go to AA meetings. But I'm not a doctor.
- 51:47Speaker 1: I just know what works for me. I never had
- 51:50Speaker 1: to detox. But that would be questions that somebody else
- 51:55Speaker 1: could help you with. But I always say go to
- 51:57Speaker 1: three or four meetings and see how you feel. And
- 52:01Speaker 1: go to different ones, you know, if you can, just
- 52:03Speaker 1: to get a real idea. of what they're like. Don't
- 52:06Speaker 1: go to one and be like, this sucks or whatever. Yeah,
- 52:09Speaker 1: but that's a huge progression, man. I would be proud
- 52:12Speaker 1: of yourself. And I would just give yourself some grace, man.
- 52:15Speaker 1: You're trying. You're a human that's really making an effort.
- 52:21Speaker 1: And that's really, that's beautiful, dog. You got that shit, baby.
- 52:24Speaker 1: Praise God. What else? Here we got another call. A
- 52:32Speaker 1: lot of breast calls. And this is something that's okay.
- 52:35Speaker 1: you know, we do want to ask people to hit
- 52:36Speaker 1: the hotline. Let us know the first time somebody, uh,
- 52:39Speaker 1: touched your genitalia, you know, um, and what that experience
- 52:44Speaker 1: was like. Was it scary? Was it exciting? Was it
- 52:48Speaker 1: take us back through some of that nine, eight, five, six, six, four, nine, five,
- 52:52Speaker 1: zero three. You know, once a year we like to
- 52:55Speaker 1: tap into, um, to the memories of sensual memories and
- 53:01Speaker 1: that sort of thing. And that's how that, you know, um,
- 53:05Speaker 1: the lady they got touched in that refrigerator box. You know,
- 53:10Speaker 1: that's where you get to really interact with folks like that.
- 53:12Speaker 1: So beautiful stuff. We want to explore. Got a call
- 53:18Speaker 1: that came in right here.
- 53:21Speaker 6: Onward.
- 53:22Speaker 8: Hey, Theo.
- 53:23Speaker 4: Man, I was wondering, I was swimming at the lake
- 53:27Speaker 4: one time with my cousin. And we were jumping off
- 53:31Speaker 4: the dock, you know, just a beautiful day. It was
- 53:34Speaker 4: gorgeous out. And she come up out of the water,
- 53:38Speaker 4: and one of her titties was out.
- 53:42Speaker 1: Oh, yes, buddy. Yeah, brother. That's breaching, baby. That's what
- 53:48Speaker 1: they call it. That's breaching, baby. That's nature, daddy. You
- 53:53Speaker 1: can watch that on damn Shark Channel. Let's hear more.
- 53:56Speaker 4: I sat there looking at it, and I didn't really know.
- 54:00Speaker 4: what to do or say really. So I just didn't
- 54:03Speaker 4: say anything. I just kind of.
- 54:05Speaker 3: Took it in.
- 54:08Speaker 6: I don't have any regrets.
- 54:10Speaker 4: I don't think that I should have said anything in
- 54:13Speaker 4: that moment. It would have just made it too much,
- 54:17Speaker 4: you know, in that moment.
- 54:21Speaker 1: Look, brother, I think that there's, I think that those
- 54:26Speaker 1: are second tier tits, brother, on a cousin. That's second-tier tittery, baby.
- 54:31Speaker 1: That's nothing. First-tier tits, that's mom tits. And if you
- 54:38Speaker 1: stare at your mom's tits for more than two seconds,
- 54:41Speaker 1: you will be absorbed off of the face of the
- 54:45Speaker 1: earth by Satan. So that is hands down, no pass, go,
- 54:52Speaker 1: or whatever, straight to hell. So that is, that's the
- 54:56Speaker 1: first rule. Second, that mid-tier tit, mid-tier is sister, right?
- 55:01Speaker 1: Mid-tier is sister. That's sister's breasts. I think you can
- 55:04Speaker 1: look at them probably maybe six to eight seconds. You
- 55:11Speaker 1: know what I'm saying? Just enough to place first on
- 55:14Speaker 1: a bull, you know? You don't want to get crazy
- 55:16Speaker 1: because there's, first of all, you're just, you're making sure
- 55:19Speaker 1: everything's cool, but you don't want to drop in on them,
- 55:21Speaker 1: you know? You want to keep your mouth closed when
- 55:25Speaker 1: you look at them. That's normal, I think. Now, if
- 55:29Speaker 1: you look at your sister's breasts and it doesn't feel
- 55:33Speaker 1: like they're your sister's breasts, then one of y'all's parents
- 55:38Speaker 1: is lying, I think, about something. And then there's the
- 55:44Speaker 1: cousin breasts or tits. Some people call them tits, and
- 55:49Speaker 1: I don't. Actually, I do a lot of times, but yeah. Yeah.
- 55:54Speaker 1: And now cousin breasts, I'd say 30 seconds, 25 to
- 56:01Speaker 1: 30 seconds, 28 seconds. Be cool. Keep your sunglasses on.
- 56:08Speaker 1: That is a major no, taking your glass, like keep
- 56:13Speaker 1: your glasses on, guy. You know? And then just offer
- 56:18Speaker 1: to get everybody something to eat or whatever. Be totally cool, helpful.
- 56:23Speaker 1: Don't be weird, brother. But yeah, you know, I think
- 56:30Speaker 1: it's okay. But that's it. That's it. So, what else
- 56:39Speaker 1: do we got, man? Some of this I forgot how
- 56:40Speaker 1: to do, I feel like, but I'm going to get
- 56:42Speaker 1: back in the swing of it. My brain's starting to
- 56:46Speaker 1: get a little tired. I got a call right here
- 56:49Speaker 1: that came in.
- 56:52Speaker 3: Hey, Theo.
- 56:53Speaker 6: My name is Wade.
- 56:56Speaker 1: What's up, Wade? Man, thank you for calling, man. Excuse me.
- 57:03Speaker 1: I had, you know, when I was a kid, they
- 57:05Speaker 1: had a kid in my class named Wade, and he
- 57:08Speaker 1: was a ginger. And they didn't have, they didn't, I
- 57:12Speaker 1: don't think they even allowed a lot of gingers in
- 57:14Speaker 1: our area, but he had gotten in. And he was
- 57:18Speaker 1: a neat guy, you know. he had a beautiful sister
- 57:24Speaker 1: or she could have just been a sister. It could
- 57:25Speaker 1: have just been his sister. And she was just, I
- 57:27Speaker 1: was at that age where if any, if a dude
- 57:28Speaker 1: had a sister, it was like, she's beautiful, you know?
- 57:34Speaker 1: And I was the worst. I remember I just got
- 57:37Speaker 1: at that age, I was the worst at talking to women.
- 57:40Speaker 1: I mean, and I still am, but at that time
- 57:42Speaker 1: I had really My buddy would, like if I had
- 57:46Speaker 1: a friend who was like, hey man, you should go
- 57:47Speaker 1: talk to that girl. I would immediately, not only would
- 57:49Speaker 1: I not walk over and talk to the girl, I
- 57:52Speaker 1: would run 15 miles in the other direction. I would,
- 57:58Speaker 1: and then when I got there, I would start writing
- 58:00Speaker 1: letters to the girl and telling her how I missed
- 58:03Speaker 1: her and I wish things could be different and all. Just,
- 58:08Speaker 1: I was just, I've always been a bizarre person. relationshipist
- 58:15Speaker 1: in a way. I'll be like, dude, that girl's looking
- 58:18Speaker 1: at you. You should go talk to her. I will
- 58:19Speaker 1: fucking take one step towards her, then 7,000 steps the
- 58:23Speaker 1: other way. And then when I get over there, I'll
- 58:24Speaker 1: start drawing paintings of her. I'll take art classes, all
- 58:28Speaker 1: that kind of shit. But yeah, I was always had
- 58:30Speaker 1: trouble talking to women, but, um, anyway, uh, but now
- 58:34Speaker 1: it's not as bad, but it's still not cool. Um,
- 58:39Speaker 1: But Wade had a sister. I don't remember her name.
- 58:42Speaker 1: I think she damn looked like him. I don't even know, bro.
- 58:44Speaker 1: But it didn't matter. It didn't even damn matter. And
- 58:50Speaker 1: Wade was cool. He was interesting. Pale, too. God, so pale.
- 58:58Speaker 1: You could fucking see his heart trying. Damn. Some days
- 59:03Speaker 1: you'd just be like, damn, you got to. You better
- 59:06Speaker 1: pluck that thing a couple times. Wade, we're about to
- 59:09Speaker 1: play basketball. you know you're gonna need it um but
- 59:13Speaker 1: anyway go on man I'm sorry I interrupted your call
- 59:15Speaker 1: with my bullshit let me start your call over a
- 59:16Speaker 1: little so.
- 59:17Speaker 8: My name is Wade I'm a college.
- 59:19Speaker 1: Student and you're a college student okay onward uh I
- 59:24Speaker 1: don't mean.
- 59:24Speaker 8: To like bring you down or anything but um you know,
- 59:29Speaker 8: you were pretty real about your mental health and stuff.
- 59:32Speaker 8: And I just, you know, I'm just calling to kind
- 59:35Speaker 8: of wonder if you ever felt like you were like,
- 59:38Speaker 8: just always fighting yourself and you just don't know why.
- 59:42Speaker 8: And you kind of just, and you just, but I
- 59:45Speaker 8: just know I'm losing, you know, or, you know, you're losing.
- 59:48Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 59:49Speaker 1: If I was always fighting myself and I didn't know why, um,
- 59:53Speaker 1: but I was always losing, um, Yeah, let's hear more.
- 59:59Speaker 8: I just feel like I'm failing all the time.
- 1:00:03Speaker 6: And it's not that I don't talk.
- 1:00:04Speaker 8: About it, because I do talk about it, and people
- 1:00:07Speaker 8: just tell me that I should go to the gym
- 1:00:10Speaker 8: or I should try harder in school or I should
- 1:00:14Speaker 8: do all this other stuff, but I just fail all
- 1:00:16Speaker 8: the time. I don't know, man, I just don't feel good.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: Yeah, thanks for the call, man. I appreciate it.
- 1:00:25Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: I can, I can relate in, in the way, uh,
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: that I just appreciate you caring about yourself enough to
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: call and see what's going on and just share it.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: You know, neither one of us probably has a, has
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: an answer, but we can share about what's going on.
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: And then at least now both of us, um, you know,
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: if you're carrying a burden by yourself, if you share
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: it with somebody else, now two people are carrying it,
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: you know, and it's lighter. Um, you know, I was
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: always in conflict with myself.
- 1:00:57Speaker 4: Always.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: If I was working, I wasn't work. I should have
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: been having fun or I wasn't working hard enough. If
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: I was having fun, he'd be like, God, I gotta,
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: I gotta go to work. Uh, I never let myself win.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: That's what I realized. I never, I never let myself win.
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: So I was always in conflict. Always. I was never
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: doing anything right. And then I realized that I had,
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: my perspective was off. I had I'd made unrealistic expectations
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: for myself. And I made unrealistic expectations for myself because
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: if I could never get things right, then that means
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: that I'm always wrong. And if I'm always wrong, then
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: that attaches to whatever my core belief about myself, one
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: of my core beliefs, like something I think real deep
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: down inside myself. One of the things I thought was
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: that I'm always wrong. I can't do anything right. I'm
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: never enough, right? Those were core beliefs that I had
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: for me. And so by having unrealistic expectations, I set
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: myself up always to fail because I never could achieve
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: my own expectations. They were always impossible. So then once
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: I fail, which is all the time, it attaches back
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: to the old feeling of, well, I'm not enough.
- 1:02:20Speaker 5: Right?
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: So then it's like almost a self-fulfilling prophecy in a way.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: So I'm not saying that's what's going on with you,
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: but if you're never enough for yourself, then you might
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: want to look at, get, talk to a therapist about
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: some of what your core beliefs are and how do
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: you find out what those are? Because that's where I've
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: had to just, that's where I've had to start looking
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: for myself. And then also I think stay in action.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: Like you know, stay in action, like keep, you know,
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: stay moving, whether it's that you jog or you go
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: for a walk, or if you'd like to go to
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: the gym, those things are important because otherwise you get
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: like your body is sedentary. And if it's sedentary, you're,
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: you're going to be even more like glum and depressed.
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: It's so much easier for depression to like grow on you.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: If you're, if you're not a moving target. So staying
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: in motion, I think helps. Not all the time. Don't
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: sleep on like a treadmill or anything, but just You know,
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: stay busy, keep your blood going. Yeah, I don't know
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: if that's helpful or not. But then it was like
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: I wasn't always in conflict with myself because I would
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: never let myself win. That was the thing. I was
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: never good enough for myself. And no one else was
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: ever good enough for me. You know, I just had
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: unrealistic expectations, man. Yeah. So I'm not feeling bad about
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: it or anything. I'm happy that I'm able to see it.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: I haven't cured it for myself or anything like that,
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: but I at least have a look at it now.
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: And I'm at least now able to, when I pray,
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: I'm able to ask God, say, God, you know, help
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: me to see my unrealistic expectations. Help me to make
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: those more, bring those into the light for me so
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: that I can see where they show up, you know? Yeah,
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: that's all I got really on that, man. And give
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: yourself some grace too. Just don't be so hard on yourself, man.
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: I'm sure you're doing a lot. And don't get caught
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: in self-pity. That was something that happened to me for
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: a long time. I was in self-pity. I always had
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: a problem. And if I always have a problem and
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: everything is wrong and everything, then that's self-pity because that's
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: not the reality of things. The reality of things is
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: that there's possibility everywhere somehow. But if I'm always playing
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: the victim to myself and stuff and when I'm talking
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: with people, then it's like I'm I'm getting into self-pity
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: and I'm not judging you with that. I'm just saying,
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: just look out for it. I, I fell into it
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: for a long time and fuck, I was a fucking shit,
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: had the shit all over my fucking knees, dude. I
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: was in self-pity so much, bro. Damn dummy, but it's okay.
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: I didn't know, you know, and I'm just grateful now
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: that I have a little bit more wherewithal when I
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: see it, you know? Um, what else, man? Can we
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: get anything else? That might be a lot for today. Uh, yeah,
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: some of this is sold up. So I almost have
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: to learn how to do it again. You know, I'm
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: sorry that I took so long off of it. Um,
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: but we just, there was just some other things to
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: get in a row. You know, we've been able to
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: have more guests and I want to be able to
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: have people that I can learn from, you know, sometimes
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: it's nice to have people that I can laugh with.
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: And sometimes it's nice to have people that I can
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: learn from. Um, so that's been cool. You know, we
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: have an anger guy coming up. We had this, episode
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: with Tim Fletcher that was really interesting um and then
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: there's just been a lot of stuff going on in
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: the background of just trying to figure things out trying
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: to grow up you know I've always been kind of
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: like a late bloomer I think and um yeah and
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: just finding out how do I get to how do
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: I you know one day I'd like to be in
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: a successful relationship and it's something that I've always struggled
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: with And, um, and I'm okay. I'm not complaining about it.
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: I'm just looking at it.
- 1:06:21Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: I'm looking at it and I'm looking to see, do
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: I want to really do the work that it's going
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: to take to get myself into a place to be
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: good at something like that? Cause it's practice. It's all
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: not actual practice with someone, but I mean, it is
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: some of that for me, but it's like just, um,
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: creating a level of integrity with myself, uh, So that
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: I'm only putting myself in scenarios that are, have a
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: lot of upside and value, you know? And you can't
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: always know off the bat, but sometimes, you know, like, oh,
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: this isn't, you know, this isn't really, this ain't going
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: to make me feel anything, but maybe bad, you know?
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: So what else? Anything in the news? You know, they
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: just had the Kyle thing. They were trying to have
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: the most Kyles ever in Kyle, Texas. So I want
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: to jump on the line with, I want to get
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: on the line here with a Kyle who was there.
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: You know, apparently they came up a little bit short
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: over there. Let me see the number they were trying
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: to get. Well, I guess we can learn it all
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: about here from this Kyle right here. I want to
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: talk to this Kyle. And this is a Kyle. And
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: he was at the Kyle Fest 2024. over in Kyle, Texas,
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: which is only about 20 miles from here in Austin.
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: And so I'm really interested in seeing how that went
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: and what went on down there. This right here, we
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: have Kyle Garcia. If he's available here, Kyle Garcia. Hey, Kyle.
- 1:08:02Speaker 8: Hi.
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: Hey, brother. Can you see me?
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: I can see you.
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: Nice, man. Thank you for your patience.
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: And I can hear you. Yeah, for sure.
- 1:08:10Speaker 8: No worries.
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: Excellent. And so you attended the Kyle Fest over there
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: in Kyle, Texas.
- 1:08:17Speaker 5: Yeah, it was the craziest, most Kyle-charged weekend.
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: I've ever spent. It was really cool.
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: And what was the goal of the festival, just so
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: we know?
- 1:08:29Speaker 8: For sure.
- 1:08:30Speaker 5: So I think there's a current world record of the
- 1:08:36Speaker 5: most amount of people with the same name in Bosnia
- 1:08:40Speaker 5: with the name Ivan. And that's like something in the 20, 2100, 2200,
- 1:08:46Speaker 5: something like that. So in order to beat that record,
- 1:08:50Speaker 5: we needed 22 something hundred Kyles.
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: And we fell a little short, but we had a
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: lot of fun.
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: And this was the second year they did it?
- 1:09:01Speaker 5: I think they've been doing it for four or five
- 1:09:04Speaker 5: years now. And from what I understand, the last year
- 1:09:08Speaker 5: was their biggest turnout. And that's actually the year that
- 1:09:11Speaker 5: I found out about it.
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: Last year's turnout was 1400. And this year's turnout was
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: 706 officially.
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: So not as many Kyles. Were you expecting a larger
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: amount of Kyles?
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: I was thinking it was going to happen.
- 1:09:30Speaker 5: I didn't really, you know, the reason I went is
- 1:09:34Speaker 5: because the place I work at, there's three Kyles of
- 1:09:37Speaker 5: us together. So I felt emboldened. I felt like, all right,
- 1:09:41Speaker 5: we might actually get this done. Might be part of
- 1:09:43Speaker 5: world history to some extent. So I didn't think it
- 1:09:47Speaker 5: would be half.
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: Did you go as a group, you three Kyles?
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: Oh, I solo tripped.
- 1:09:53Speaker 5: Um, the other Kyles, you know, couldn't make it, but, uh,
- 1:09:55Speaker 5: I knew about it for a while. I knew about
- 1:09:57Speaker 5: it since last year and I feel like I was
- 1:09:59Speaker 5: the only Kyle that was like kind of eyeing it. Wow.
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: Okay. And so what were some of the festivities when
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: you got down there? Were there, was there like a
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: pledge of allegiance? Was there, were you guys doing like
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: a pickleball or any?
- 1:10:14Speaker 5: The coolest thing, um, there was a drone show on
- 1:10:17Speaker 5: the final night. Um, And, uh, that was my first
- 1:10:21Speaker 5: time seeing a drone show. So it was really cool
- 1:10:23Speaker 5: to go out and see that. And I actually, yeah, from,
- 1:10:26Speaker 5: from Friday to Sunday, there was live music. There were
- 1:10:29Speaker 5: two stages, which I thought was pretty cool.
- 1:10:32Speaker 2: Um, and it was all free, free to attend.
- 1:10:34Speaker 5: Um, you didn't have to be a Kyle to like participate,
- 1:10:38Speaker 5: you know, to take part, to get food and drinks,
- 1:10:41Speaker 5: you know, to have fun.
- 1:10:42Speaker 2: So it was really cool.
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: And someone said Kyle Rittenhouse was there.
- 1:10:46Speaker 5: Was that, is that, Let's see. I, I didn't, I
- 1:10:51Speaker 5: didn't catch or, you know, hear any, uh, famous Kyle's
- 1:10:55Speaker 5: come through. I, um, I, I wish there were more Kyle's.
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: I think we just definitely wanted more Kyle's.
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:11:03Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: I feel like you want to get as much Kyle's
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: as you can. And do you blame, was there a
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: reason you think in hindsight, like, okay, this would have
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: led us to more Kyle's. This is why we fell short.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: We thought about it.
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: Yeah, we talked about it.
- 1:11:16Speaker 5: We discussed it.
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: What we think is what happened.
- 1:11:20Speaker 5: And I think the general consensus is maybe marketing had
- 1:11:24Speaker 5: something to do with it. Advertising, maybe a certain amount
- 1:11:27Speaker 5: of advertising was needed to get everyone's attention, to keep
- 1:11:32Speaker 5: it on everyone's mind. Maybe a certain influencer probably could
- 1:11:37Speaker 5: have pushed things along more. I know that the city
- 1:11:39Speaker 5: put a lot of effort into it with the drone show. uh,
- 1:11:43Speaker 5: in two stages, you know, it was really cool.
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:11:46Speaker 5: Um, but yeah, I feel like a word of mouth
- 1:11:48Speaker 5: really goes a long way in sort of, in a
- 1:11:51Speaker 5: sense like this.
- 1:11:52Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: Well, next year we'll have to read some ads or something,
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: do something we can to try to support these Kyles. And, um,
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: what type of, was it all men? Are there women
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: Kyles allowed as well?
- 1:12:02Speaker 5: Do you see any, uh, They were married Kyles. There
- 1:12:09Speaker 5: were Kyles of all sorts. What was really cool was
- 1:12:12Speaker 5: to see really small, tiny, teeny, tiny toddler Kyles, baby Kyles.
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: It was awesome. It was really cool. I never met
- 1:12:21Speaker 2: so many Kyles. It felt like a kinship.
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: Oh, it did feel like that.
- 1:12:28Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:12:28Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: It felt cool.
- 1:12:30Speaker 5: I mean, the hardest part was, you know, um, hearing
- 1:12:33Speaker 5: your name, you turn your head that, that, that was
- 1:12:35Speaker 5: the hardest part.
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: The head turning part. Someone says a.
- 1:12:37Speaker 5: Nice hat Kyle, or, uh, I'm looking for Kyle or,
- 1:12:41Speaker 5: you know, uh, you're in big trouble, Kyle.
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: And we're all like, yes, ma'am.
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: Or this is your baby, Kyle.
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: But, um, that's what was part of the fun, you know?
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: Oh, that's super enjoyable. And was there a lot of–
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: is it a place where is there a lot of
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: like– did it seem like a hotbed? I was reading
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: somewhere online that it seemed like a hotbed of like
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: kind of like men meeting men. Was there any of
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: that energy there? Did you feel like any dating kind
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: of vibes?
- 1:13:13Speaker 5: You know, I feel like I wouldn't want to find
- 1:13:17Speaker 5: the– the love of my life with also the same name,
- 1:13:20Speaker 5: you know, Kyle meeting Kyle.
- 1:13:24Speaker 2: Um, and, and to be honest, yeah, I guess I
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: definitely saw the ratio. I guess I saw more.
- 1:13:30Speaker 5: Guy, Kyle's, you know, and, um, I, to be completely
- 1:13:34Speaker 5: honest with you, I wasn't, I wasn't really going, I
- 1:13:37Speaker 5: was all by myself, you know, solo trip. And, and, and, um,
- 1:13:41Speaker 5: it was my first time out in Texas.
- 1:13:42Speaker 3: Wow.
- 1:13:44Speaker 5: Um, there was so much to do, you know, um,
- 1:13:47Speaker 5: And so, and everyone was awesome. Everyone was really nice
- 1:13:49Speaker 5: and friendly and welcoming too.
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:13:52Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: I was just wondering if it was like a hotbed
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: for kind of gay activity or anything like that, because
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: it was all men, you know, I just sometimes wonder that,
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: but yeah, I, um, I.
- 1:14:03Speaker 5: Met some really cool guy Kyles for sure. I mean
- 1:14:06Speaker 5: like there were some well-traveled Kyles. There were Kyles with
- 1:14:11Speaker 5: like three jobs, you know.
- 1:14:13Speaker 2: Las Vegas Kyle was really cool.
- 1:14:15Speaker 5: Las Vegas Kyle was trying to get people together for
- 1:14:19Speaker 5: like bar hopping in Austin, you know.
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: Really, really cool.
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: So they had party Kyle's, they had busy Kyle's, they
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: had any, any wheelchair Kyle's, any Kyle's on crutches.
- 1:14:31Speaker 5: I will say there was one, um, Kyle in a, uh,
- 1:14:35Speaker 5: in a chair being walked by his family.
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: And that was really cool.
- 1:14:39Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:14:40Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: So every, so this was, everybody was welcome. Everybody was, wow.
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: What about the oldest Kyle? Did you see, did you
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: guys find out who the oldest Kyle was?
- 1:14:51Speaker 5: Oh, well, you know, what's funny is that, um, I mean,
- 1:14:55Speaker 5: While I was in Kyle, Texas, they had a 5k
- 1:14:59Speaker 5: going on a free 5k going on. And I took
- 1:15:02Speaker 5: part in that. And they did, you know, congratulate some
- 1:15:05Speaker 5: some Kyle's over there. The fastest Kyle, I think the
- 1:15:09Speaker 5: oldest Kyle and you know, we had some some pretty
- 1:15:11Speaker 5: senior runners up there too.
- 1:15:13Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:15:14Speaker 2: Um, you know, it was a real memorable weekend.
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: Yeah, because when is there something like this? You know,
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: that's what's so intriguing to me. Would you go back again?
- 1:15:27Speaker 5: Honestly, if I was more sure, if I was more
- 1:15:31Speaker 5: confident that we would break a world record, yeah, I'd
- 1:15:34Speaker 5: be down to go. But honestly, I had so much
- 1:15:37Speaker 5: fun that I'd probably want to revisit Texas, revisit Austin again,
- 1:15:41Speaker 5: and then maybe stop over in Kyle.
- 1:15:43Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: Just to reminisce about it. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:15:48Speaker 8: Wow.
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: Well, And where do you travel from, Kyle?
- 1:15:54Speaker 2: Oh, so I heard about this all the way from
- 1:15:56Speaker 2: New York.
- 1:15:57Speaker 6: Oh, wow.
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: And did you travel by plane or train or how
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: did you get there?
- 1:16:03Speaker 5: Um, plane, uh, I think plane would have been the
- 1:16:06Speaker 5: easiest thing just for this weekend. You know, I'm, I'm
- 1:16:09Speaker 5: currently back to work, you know, so, uh, it was,
- 1:16:13Speaker 5: it was nice coming into Austin and leaving from Austin.
- 1:16:16Speaker 2: It was smooth.
- 1:16:17Speaker 5: Um, you know, the time difference wasn't too bad. Uh,
- 1:16:20Speaker 5: the big difference was the heat for sure. Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: It's hot down here. I'm in Austin right now. We
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: just been here. And so I'd been hearing about the
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: Kyle Fest and I've been on stage this weekend. There's
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: a lot of different Kyle's popping up and non Kyle's.
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: And people accusing each other of being like fake Kyle.
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: There's all types of like, yeah. Yeah.
- 1:16:41Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: I'm with Kyle, you know, a lot.
- 1:16:44Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: A lot of stuff like that. So, yeah, it's just
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: been a fascinating week to be so close to this,
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: this kind of flocking of the Kyles, you know?
- 1:16:56Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, I thought it was like this funny
- 1:17:00Speaker 5: little silly idea. And then, you know, I just sort
- 1:17:03Speaker 5: of chased after it and had the time of my life.
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: Good for you, man. It just shows, I think, just
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: going and doing something is really what it's all about.
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: You know, that's the big thing. Just saying, hey, I'm
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: going to try this. Yeah, did you leave feeling like,
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: I'm glad I tried it?
- 1:17:17Speaker 5: Come back with some stories. Yeah, definitely happy I did it. Like,
- 1:17:19Speaker 5: no regrets.
- 1:17:20Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:17:21Speaker 2: And, you know, traveling is really great like that.
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: A hundred percent. Kyle's all Kyle's welcome. Um, they did
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: the best that they could. Kyle Garcia from New York.
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: Thank you so much for your time, man. I really
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: appreciate it.
- 1:17:35Speaker 2: Appreciate you.
- 1:17:36Speaker 8: Thank you.
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: Our brother. See you in the future. Right there. You
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: heard it. Even Kyle's can't even get on the same
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: page and it could be even a hotbed for a
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: homosexuality over there. Everything in the world now turns into
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: a pizza hut or a men's kind of gay meetup
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: it feels like. And that's just what's going on. And
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: that's time, brother. That's us traveling through time and experimenting
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: with the buffet of existence. Something else, isn't it? And
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: just remember, we may be in the time of the merging.
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: If things feel weird, if things feel obtuse, you don't
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: know what's going on, we may be in the merging.
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: Remember that. When you see an animal with a sunroof,
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: when you see a butt with some titties on it
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: or whatever, when you see a goose that is working
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: at a Chevron, when you see anything that's different, when
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: you see a daycare suddenly selling is also a lens craft.
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: you know, it's all, it's emerging, right? It's emerging. Just
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: recognize we're in emerging. When you see one person that is,
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: has three different sexes in them, it's emerging. I think
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: that's what's going on. So just be cognizant. I believe
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: they weren't emerging and it's okay. You know, just get
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: a shamrock shake or get a damn McDouble and just chill.
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: You know, we're going to make it. What else? That's
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: all I got, man. I appreciate it. We'll do another
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: solo episode soon. Thank you guys for all the support.
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: And yeah, and just, and let me just try to
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: get back on this, on this bike again this week.
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: And yeah, love you guys, man. You guys be good
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: to yourselves, baby. You deserve it.
- 1:19:38Speaker 8: Yeah.
