And I don't think we actually have any special announcements this week. I think we got the special announcements out the last couple weeks, but ⁓ get into welcome back everyone to the show. Matt, we can get into a little bit of our weekend recap. It's been a while since we've sat down. Been a while since we sat down. The Dallas Clark episode? Dallas Clark episode, the ⁓ Kyle Uschek episode. Correct. Mr. Broken Finger. I think we're gonna have to stop numbering the episodes after like a hundred. That's I was actually thinking about that this week. Like what happens when they get to the JJ Watts episode at ninety nine? Well the good thing is Aaron Donald's episode at ninety nine. The good thing is we won't to worry about that for like unless we start like just repping out the the episodes, it'll probably be another year until we get through. Correct. It's been about a year and I think we're gonna be right at close I think we're gonna be at like forty nine at the actual like one year mark of Brady Pod in September. So Yeah. You know, we got at least one more year of number in the episodes, then we'll we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. Exactly. That's a future Brayden Matt problem. That's not this week problem. ⁓ but get into a little bit of the weekend recap. Welcome everyone back. I went and saw the new Spider Man, Spider Man brand new day. No spoilers, please. No spoiler, I'm not gonna spoil it. ⁓ but I did just wanna say I thought it was pretty good. I thought this isn't spoiling anything. ⁓ the web swinging in this movie, actually sick. I they had some new camera angles. You're gonna enjoy it. That's all I'll say. Other than and then I then went and watched the rest of I went ⁓ actually went back and watched Iron Man one and two this weekend as well. And I'm probably gonna watch Iron Man three this week at some point. This is whenever I get all my movie watching done, dude, right? If we have this lull between like I guess w the World Cup kinda cut into it, but a little bit before like football season, once football season starts like Monday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday, sometime Saturdays. Actually I think the the league starts this year. on a Wednesday. So the football's king, it's gonna control the week. I won't have as much time to watch like a bunch of movies and shows, so I'm getting caught up now. And then ⁓ actually I need to go see the new Odyssey still too. I haven't seen that one yet. So I I some before it came out there was some a lot of skepticism. On the Odyssey? Yeah. But after it came out there's a lot better reviews, better talk around it. Yeah, everyone would want to go see it in like the seventy mil or something like that. Yeah. I'm not you listen, I'm not gonna go watch it in seventy mil. I saw the wait list for that is like Christmas time. So I'm not gonna wait that long to go watch a movie in whatever format that it was recommended. Yeah, I think there's only like fourteen. Maybe I'm making that up. There's a very limited amount of theaters. No, I think fourteen is I think it's fourteen in the US. And there's one near us. Yeah, there's one in Dallas. That is showing it. So Unless we want to drive to like Kansas City or something. Yeah. I'm okay. Maybe for a cheese game. I'll take Well, it just cuts off a little bit of it. Yeah, I mean it's fine. I did read the Odyssey back in high school. Back when we were like forced to read books and stuff. So you know, I know a little I know the storyline of it all. I I don't need to catch all the extra part of the screen for it. Just ⁓ just need to see what what the whole all the whole everyone's freaking out about, so We'll I we'll watch that eventually. Don't spoil it for us in the comments, please. Matt, how was your weekend? It was good, man. Just good. Mine is not as eventful as yours, but I wouldn't say mine was eventful. So it's it changed jobs. ⁓ yeah, and you've you've got a new work schedule now. I do. Hopefully it's better than the last one. It's already better because we're not recording super late at night. We we are recording this at a reasonable time. I think last episode we were a little sleep deprived. We're now back on a regular schedule. Correct. But if there was any hope of getting Tony Remo or Tom Montgomery? Who I just met on my guess. Now that you're not working there anymore, you can tell us all the stories of all the ⁓ celebrity athletes you met on the golf course. Yeah, unfortunately Remo wasn't drinking and driving a golf cart. So there's nothing fun really there, but No, but you did get his golf glove. I did get his golf glove. Got his golf glove. We were we were thinking about oxygen it off on the podcast. We should. Not signed. Should have asked. That was a miss. I I should have asked. Because I knew I knew it was like my last week there. I I should have brought it up a little bit. Say, hey Tony, how about you sign this golf club for me? Mr. Remo, would you please sign this for me? He now he's gonna see it be ⁓ my god, I know Matt had a podcast. Maybe he'll come full circle. He'll come on the podcast at some point and be like, Don't I know you from the country club? That'd be sick. But I did meet I I met Tom Montgomery. Ty Montgomery, that was a new one. More niche than Tony Roma, obviously, but like it was funny because I I went up to ballet and I got his bag, brought it to the to the golf range. And like I saw the last name. They called for somebody to get Montgomery's bag. I'm like, okay. Brought it down. I see this guy walking out. Dress shirt, slacks. Yeah. Kinda you know, popping out, right? Like he's built. Like who's this? Built like an NFL superstar. Who's this? And I put it I I went to put his bag down and it fell to the ground. He has one leg on his back. Is he getting into golf? ⁓ seems like it. But he he's like, Did you just break my bag? I'm like, No, sir. I would never do that. I that'd be a very bad first impression. I was hoping this would Yeah, that'd be tough Oklahoma drill. I'm like I Would have hoped this is already broken. But like I yeah, I I put his bag down, he gets up the hit, whatever. I just kinda glance at his his back tag that he has. It says Tom Montgomery. I'm like the Tom Montgomery? It's like, yeah, I'm like I'm a big I'm a big Northern Saints fan. Like I you know, I know who you are. Like you you played in Nola for two years and I'm a fan. Yeah, you're you're a Saint, so I'll always be a fan. So Is he officially retired from the NFL? Yeah, he's been retired for like he's thirty three. Twenty twenty three, I think he was his last year. So I I I kinda looked it up just to make sure that he I kind of knew who he wasn't still playing, but I just wanted to Yeah, it shows I think Patriots was the last team they played for in twenty twenty three. Shout out Ty Montgomery. So Dude, cool interaction. That's actually a very good story. That's a good story right now because fantasy football is now going on. Everyone, good luck with all your drafts and all your draft orders and everything. But if you played fantasy football for a while, you probably at some point definitely picked up Ty Montgomery or had him on your team. For sure. Hey, great guy, by the way. Yeah. Wonderful fellow. As they all are. All right, cool. Well that was our weekend recap and now we get into a little bit of the show preview. So just a little heads up, as Matt has alluded with his story from meeting Ty Montgomery. This is gonna be more NFL focus this week. Not a lot else going on in too many of the sports leagues. There's a little bit of baseball we got sprinkled in here, but it's gonna be mostly NFL focus. We're gonna start off with Birdies of the Week. Some NFL news preseason starting up this week. I think the first games actually the first games are on Thursday, so I think this episode drops on Wednesday. First games will be tomorrow. While you're listening to this, and then ⁓ one final question will also be fantasy football related, and probably I don't want to give too much away, but if you have the first overall pick in your fantasy football league, this is gonna be the segment for you. Or the second pick. Whichever one. ⁓ so with that we can get into Brody's of the week. Matt's gonna start us off. Matt, go ahead with your Brody. Yes, sir. So first Brody is W NBA player. Kayla McBride. She's a guard for the Minnesota Lynx. I know there's a lot of stuff Going on with the WNBA. This might have gotten overshadowed a little bit, but this she still was breaking records on a specific night. Had forty three points on Sunday against our beloved Dallas Wings, went sixteen of twenty one from the field, had ten made threes, which is a WNBA record. She's also the first player in WNBA history to score forty plus points without multiple free throw attempts. Wait, so she scored forty three with no free throws? Without multiple. So she just had like one free throw. Correct. That's impressive. Also, Ted made threes. That's forty points right there, just off three. So she's ⁓ she's a three point shooter? Obviously. Seems like it. Seems like it. I I would have figured like maybe Caitlin Clark got up there. I mean, Ted made three Ted made threes is a lot. Even for like the NBA. That's a lot. Yeah, I mean that's Well, once again, that's forty points. That's insane. No, that's thirty points. That's thirty points. That's off. I'm already dial let's dial the math in. Yeah, the math the math is a math in. So then she had six two points. Or field goals. I don't know if I why I call it f two points. One one free throw, but yeah. One free throw. Okay. One free throw attempt. Shout out to Kayla McBride. I did see so you mentioned that they were playing the wings. ⁓ I saw that the wings are moving to the they're moving from Arlington to the American Airlines Center in twenty twenty seven. So they're gonna be trying to fill up a bigger stadium. ⁓ Yeah. Shout out shout up Paige Buckers. Shout out As E FUD. I don't know what they're gonna do after twenty I I so twenty twenty seven, I know the stars and the Mavs are moving out of the American Airlines. Are the wings just gonna take it over? Or like what's the plan? What's the American Airline gonna turn into? I mean, it could be just like the home for the wings, but I imagine they're gonna wanna do other stuff. And there will also probably be concert venues and stuff still hosted there, but Correct. A lot of concerts probably. That's prime real estate for Dallas. I couldn't imagine either they're gonna keep the wings there or they're gonna try and do concert venues or they're gonna try and upgrade the American Airlines. I'm not really sure, but that was just something I saw. So you mentioned it was against wings, so I just wanna bring that up as I mean, yeah, with the players that the wings have now, like and the trajectory that The WNBA is on currently. I think it's a good move to go to the the AAC. I don't think they're gonna, you know, fall off and have trouble filling up that stadium. They already have to move to the American Airlines for like big games, like when Caitlin Clark comes to town, they're already using the AAC. So there's a track record of them using it. It now some of the other teams that might come in that they play might not bring as much of a celebrity tax to it. There might not be as many people show up, but still they're gonna be upgrading from I I don't know where they're at in Arlington, but I know It's like a I think it's like a it's like a college stadium or something like that. It's UT Arlington. Yeah, it's so it's some it's not like their home stadium, so arena. Saying stadium, dude, I'm already pumped for football. Hell yeah. I mean, this could be their permanent spot. I don't see why it wouldn't be. Yeah. And I mean Dallas is gonna need a team that's located in Dallas. 'Cause like what you said, the the stars and the Mavs are moving north, so like I said with the trajectory of the WB, this they're gonna fill up seats. Yep. Especially with Ace Breckers, Ozzy Flood, whoever else. Well, shit shout out Caleb McBride and shout out the Dallas Whigs. Moving on to my Brodie of the Week, and Matt didn't like this comment, but I'm gonna call my Brody of the month. The Boston Red Sox are the absolute highest team in baseball right now. ⁓ since July twenty fifth, they have thirty two wins and seven losses. That includes a fifteen game win streak and a nine game win streak. They only lost four games in all of July. They were like I think they were fifteen games back the Yankees and now they're two games back or like two and a half games back from a playoff spot. ⁓ actually I I think they're already in in control of the wild card. They're in a wild card kind of race between the New York Yankees, Texas Rangers, and surprisingly the Detroit Tigers, who just sold Terrix Houbel, which we talked about last episode. Yeah, the Red Sox are two games back the Yankees and the ⁓ the wild card. Is it two? Because it's I the Yankees are five and a half, and then the Red Sox are seven games back of the Tampa Bay Rays. Okay, I guess one off. But I mean they already have a wild card spot, so they're gonna be probably making the playoffs. ⁓ really the wild card race is probably between the Rangers and Lions, surprisingly. ⁓ but the Boston Red Sox went from thirty-two and forty-six at the start of this like whole hot streak that they got on to now they're sixty-four and fifty-three. They were under fourteen games from five hundred and now they are thirteen games over five hundred. They did that in forty-four days. That is the fastest turnaround in MLB history. ⁓ AI has actually ranked them as the seventh greatest in season turnaround in sports history. Matt, I do have the other s other six. Do you want to take a guess? In sports history? Yes. Just in general? Yes. Couldn't even begin adventure, I guess. Okay, so. I'll go I'll go in. This is a little tough. So the number six spot was the 2001 Patriots. The number five spot was the 2021 Braves. The number four spot didn't expect you to get this one, the 1978 Yankees. We weren't even around for that. ⁓ the then the number three spot was the 2019 Nationals, who went on to win the World Series. And then number two was the 1914 Braves. I have no idea what happened in that team with that team. Tip of my tongue was the 1914 Braves, actually. You just about to say it. And then the number one greatest turnaround or it greatest in season turnaround in sports was the twenty eighteen to twenty nineteen ⁓ was it St. Louis Blues. So a little bit of hockey, a little bit everything. The teams that play a lot of games. Yeah. But they went from sellers at the trade deadline to now they're World Series contenders. And ⁓ like I said, they're on a hot streak. ⁓ Also wanted to bring this up here. The Red Sox did lose two games recently to the Athletics. So before they had only lost five games, now they've lost seven and since that streak. ⁓ one of the people I wanted to shout out for possibly ending that streak was Jacob Wilson, who is a shortstop for the A's, probably one of their superstars. He's gone 111 consecutive games without an error. That is the longest streak by a shortstop in MLB history. Matt, would you like to take a guess on what the longest streak is? Longest inning streak without an error. Short stop? No, ⁓ no, because Jacob Wilson has the longest as a short stop. This is all positions. It is an outfielder. I'll go ahead and tell you because you're not going to get it. It's Robbie Grossman. Mickey Metal. Nope. It is Robbie Grossman of the Detroit Tigers slash Atlanta Braves. He went from twenty nineteen to twenty twenty two. But shout out Jacob but shout out Jacob Wilson. He hasn't made an error since last year. I will say the outfield one is a little skewed. Like third base is probably one of the hardest spots to have a streak. Like there's the longest airless streak at third base is ninety-nine because it is considered the hot corner. So just wanted to shout that out. It's kind of a kind of a semi Brody of the week. But with that, that is our Brodies of the Week. We'll come back and do some top sports headlines, mostly focused around the NFL, and then we'll get into one final question. All right. And we're back to do some top headlines and Stuff going around the NFL, which I guess we're officially now less than one month away from the NFL season. First game starts September ninth, Wednesday, seven twenty. Patriots taking on the Seahawks. ⁓ and then the preseason starting this week. Actually, tomorrow, by the time this episode comes out, I'll be on Thursday. And we have a lot of preseason games. I think it's actually preseason Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. So pretty exciting stuff there. You know the teams play each other in a preseason? What the Saints and Cowboys? Okay, you do know. No, no. ⁓ you said, Did you know our teams play in the preseason? I said, Did you know what teams play? ⁓ do the Saints and Cowboys play in the preseason? Very, very, very vague question, but yeah. Week three of the preseason, Cowboys Saints in Jerry World. We could see some starters. We could see some starters. You think it's sold out? You think we could get tickets to that? Sold out? You think the preseason games tickets as low as twenty dollars, Matt? We could go That's what I saw. That's what I was saying. We have to get boots on the ground. Seven PM on Friday, we could make that happen. He's out of town. I'm out of town. That's I'm going I'm going to Miami that actually I'm leaving Miami Thursday. No, I'm leaving Friday. Yeah, they've been to Miami, so we're to Hoochie Daddy. I'm gonna go I'm gonna go see Miami. Apparently the the moss is or the not the ⁓ was it the seaweed's really bad on the beach. So it might not be the best, but I'm trying to get a little bit of a tan on. So it's so unfortunate, dude. Yeah, my f one of my buddies, Scott was fantastic to me. It's like, are you going to the Saints Cowboys preseason game? I'm like, honestly, I didn't even know they were gonna play each other. I didn't know that either. Hand up, if I would have known, I wouldn't have booked the trip to Miami. I would have I would have definitely gone to that game with you. We could have made it out. We always say we're gonna go to a Saints Cowboys game. That means we don't play in the regular season, though. Unfortunately stuff there. We've kind of buried the lead in what we were doing. It happened kind of often. Yeah, what was it the last or two years ago when the Saints came to Jerry Wald and put belt to ass on the Cowboys? ⁓ maybe that was two years ago. Or was it? I think it was two years ago. It was like forty to something. That wasn't two years ago. When ⁓ Derek Carr went crazy. Okay, then that probably wasn't two years ago. Yeah, I had to like mute my phone. So I was driving and I just kept getting texts from you like, ⁓ there's another touchdown. I tried to block out the Derek Carr era. That was like a highlight. Anything that happened, I tried to block it out now. He's apparently one of the he's apparently one of the most hated Saints players ever now. That's tough when when Drew Brees just got inducted to the Hall of Fame. Correct. But I do remember that that hot streak that the Saints were on because you the Saints fans were kind of saying Super Bowl balance. It was like the best team in three weeks. I do remember, yes. Y'all were just tearing up teams the first three weeks of the season. Proceed Shaheed. Like seventy yard touchdown. Yeah, I was I remember I was like at a work and I was watching it. I was on the road and my phone just kept going off. I was like, I don't need directions anymore. I turned my phone off. I was like a yeah, dude. We had yeah, that was a fun. I was so thank God we didn't have a podcast back then. That would have been a tough that would have been a tough episode to come back and do. That would have been tough. That's you know, that might be top five, like as a biased Cowboys fan, like that knows the Saints fan, that might be one of my top five worst moments as a Cowboys fan. Just getting bullied by your buddies team. Yeah. Especially since they turned out to be horrendous the rest of the year. Yeah. That was a tough loss. Absolutely. ⁓ well, we we buried the lead enough there. But ⁓ yes, we're back one month away from the NFL season, preseason starts this week. Unfortunately, if you're a Commanders fan, which we do have some statements from them, ⁓ the star left tackle, Laramie Tunsell, is to have a tricep surgery. ⁓ he tore his right tricep and is expected to miss four to seven months, depending on recovery. They said four months is kind of like the fast turnaround. Seven months is normally like the the latest it could possibly be. I imagine as a I don't know, left tackle, the tricep's very important with all the the pushing. Yeah, there we go. The pushing out that you have to do. So I wouldn't be surprised if it's closer to the seven months. Once again, we're not doctors here, but tricep surgery does sound pretty important for left tackle. Never claimed to be. Tunsil is thirty two and considered to be one of the NFL's top tackles. He just signed a two year extension with Washington in the offseason. 61.5 million dollars in total guarantees. He was the first offensive lineman to average thirty million dollars per season. Brandon Coleman will replace Tunsel in his absence, and Dan Quinn is confident in Coleman to fill that gap in the in the line now. But is he? Well he's gotta say it, obviously. I'm glad you asked that, Matt. I feel like that's a lot of coach speak. So I went boots on the ground. I went and asked our commanders fans that are in our fantasy football league. ⁓ First state first little sentence here, it's devastating. It feels like losing Trent Williams all over again. The left side the left side of the line is now compromised. Tonsil was a vital piece in keeping Jaden protected. ⁓ and he goes now the question that you almost don't want to ask is when does Jaden get hurt with with ⁓ with losing Laramie Tunsil? I turned last year anyways. Yeah. And ⁓ they also I won't say exactly what they said, but they are not confident in Brandon Coleman to fill the gap on the line. Yeah, that's arguably one of the hardest positions to to come in and replace. Yeah, especially someone of Tunsil's caliber. I we don't get in the trenches much. We get in the trenches a little bit on this podcast. I've been there. But I know Laramie Tunsil, all right. That's a that's a household name. Maybe not a household name. But if you're like a should be if you like football, you know Laramie Tunsell. Correct. It's almost like Trent Williams. You know Mr. Gas Mr. Gasmas Tunsil? Yeah. From the draft. ⁓ but I I did write here, you know, what does this mean for the commander season hopes? Doesn't sound like it's too too high right now. Sounds like, you know, it sucks with preseason injuries because it's like you didn't even see it in a game. There was like a video that was released on Twitter and it was like a you know it you you couldn't even really see Laramie Tunsil on on the video. But to be fair, if like an injury was gonna happen to to somebody this you know, skilled and this you know, good, right? You would want it to be in the the preseason. You you let the first of all you wouldn't want it at all. Correct. But if it's gonna happen to one of your best players on your team, you would want there to be some time for the backup to get in there, get some first team reps. No. Get ready for the first actual week. Do you think this henders Jaden Daniels draft stock losing Laramie Tunsel? Like for fantasy football wise. I mean There's already flags around him to begin with. Right. This certainly wouldn't help. But does it hurt that much? Probably not. Granted it's like the most important piece of the offensive line. I would say it's it's gonna if you were thinking about like if you were in between a a quarterback and Jane Daniels now, I might lean towards the other quarterback. Left tackle, that is a big position. Once again, Jane Daniels elusive, can run, can get out of situations, but how it's almost like the Commanders fan. How long can he do that for until an injury catches up to him? How many hits can he take? Especially if you're not getting Laramie Tuncil back in towards the end of the season. You could see an I don't want to put anything out there, but early in the season you could see like, you know, an injury or something that you don't want to. Good news for the Commanders fans, though. They did just sign Stefan Diggs, arguably the best number two receiver in the NFL, with a long side now scary Terry McLaurin. Matt, is this a top duo, top receiving duo in the NFL now? Top what? Top receiving duo. Scary Terry and Stephon David. That's that's very big. Top ten? Maybe probably. Not top five. ⁓ don't know. I mean It's definitely not even the best duo in the NFC East. Right. Yeah, CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens. You do. It'd probably be second best. Probably second best. But also you have the NFC West. Puka and Devontae Adams, you got JSON and Cooper Cup slash Rashid Shaheed. You got the Bingles. Jamar Chase, T. Higgins. Correct. I'd put them above them as well. I mean, Broncos, you got Sun and Jalen Waddle now. Right. I'd probably put them above them. Very biased, but Chris Olave. Jordan Tyson, maybe. Give me that over them. What about ⁓ Eagles? You got Devontae Smith and Malachi Lemon. Malachi Lemon. Who actually hasn't I don't think he's practiced yet. Has he not practiced? He he's missed the first like four practices. And people are making a joke on his last name, like calling him a Lemon. 'Cause he hasn't practiced yet, but I did see ⁓ BS Diggs. Diggs was saying like obviously I think of myself as a wide receiver one, but he goes obviously I think I'm the best wide receiver two out there in the NFL. I mean, dude, on the Patriots last year he was fantastic. I don't really see him taking a step backwards. Right. ⁓ if you want to talk about fantasy implications, this is gonna hurt McLaurin more than it's gonna hurt Jane Daniels. On the draft side. Correct. It's gonna take targets away from McLaurin. Because people were saying, you know, fully healthy Jaden Daniels and Scary Terry didn't really have much else after McLaurin. ⁓ and now you do. Now you get him a lot. Well, that's what I was saying. It almost I think it almost helps his stock. Because now the w the the c the corner coverage, you can't just go throw ⁓ on, you know, Scary Terry. You also have to account for Stefan Diggs. So I think it maybe opens them up. ⁓ we saw a little bit of that with CeeDee Lamb last year and George Pickens. Like George Pickens, you can't just leave him alone now. You have to also guard him with like, you know, a top corner, top safety, wherever you want put him. So it kind of opens up the other receivers. So I think it's like if they had like a third receiver that was like dominant up to this caliber, okay, yeah, you're gonna start handing it, you're gonna start losing volume. But Luke McCaffrey? I'm saying then they don't have that. They don't have a third, like a dominant third option. Yeah, correct. It'll be they'll be okay. I mean like Puka and Devontae Adams, obviously Adams had a lot of touchdowns last year. And Puka's Puka's still for eye, but also they have Matthew Stafford. Yeah, I think you're right on it. I think top ten, top five, not not for this duo. Speaking of some other NFL offseason news, Patriots tight end Hunter Henry signs an extension with the Patriots with a base value of sixteen million and can be up to worth to twenty million. I believe it's a two year extension. ⁓ Hunter Henry's been very prolific with the Patriots. Yeah, I think the Patriots are gonna miss digs very much. Obviously with the extension of Hunter Henry's exceptional tight end. Plus the addition of AJ Brown. Yeah, they'll be they'll be right up there with ⁓ with Drake May. Drake Drake Drake May wait. Was it Drake? Drake May May. Drake, Drake May May. Yeah, they'll be they'll be alright. Moving on to some other Extensions that happened. Shout out to my Dallas Cowboys. Quinn Williams signs a three-year $105.9 million extension. $101 million guaranteed with $63.35 million guaranteed at signing. Also a signing bonus of $31.85 million. He was acquired last year from the Jets for a second round 2026 pick, a first round 2027 pick, and defensive tackle Mozzie Smith. He is now signed with the Dallas Cowboys through twenty thirty. Absolute huge stuff there being added on to the ⁓ to the Cowboys. Cowboys have now reached deals with who was it? They've now reached deals in the past year with Tyler Smith, Brandon Aubrey, Jake Ferguson, cornerback Daron Bland, and Hunter Lipke. And now, you know, Quinn Williams is there to stay. Also have Kenny Clark around him, Rashawn Gary. Cowboys are actually building a I feel like they're building a solid defense. Did we s did we sign him too? Or is he just your He's coming in I think his this will be his second year. Yeah, and I'm trying to remember who did we just get from the ⁓ I gotta pull up our depth chart. Who's our who's our rookie that we just drafted? Lawrence. Something Lawrence. It was Malachi? Was it Why is he on the roster? ⁓ yeah, it is Malachi Lawrence. Out of U out of UCF. Yeah. Big boy. I think LC line elite. Very good. Dude, I think our defense might be listen, I don't want to. Well obviously Caleb Downs, you didn't mention that, but Caleb Downs. That's what I was about to get to. I saw a video of Caleb Downs ⁓ CeeDee Lamb going at it in practice. I saw the the one clip. Yeah. There's a corner involved in that as well. ⁓ those actually it was the corner that was guarding C D. ⁓ I thought I thought it was one on ones. I think that's what I saw. What I don't I think I know the clip you saw. It was whatever corner. I think he's rookie, guarding C D broke it up, and then he was like talking shit and then Caleb Downs got in the mix as well. Yeah. But it's gonna have that camaraderie already. Especially def defensive backwise, which was y'all's biggest Has been yellow's biggest weakness. Yeah, I wanna say I also saw I also saw another clip of Brian Schottenheimer getting in ⁓ saying that he was saying like they're being soft or something in practice. Everyone's trying to make a big deal out of that. I think that's just Coach Speak. He's just trying to, you know, get the boys fired up. I don't think, you know, I think it was kind of a little bit for show. But I mean the Cowboys defensively It just has to be mid, dude. The offense will will get you where you need to go. The defense just needs to be middle of the pack. It can't just be bottom bottom thirty like it's been in the past couple of years. If they c if they can just have a subs a sustainable defense or something, the Cowboys will be a lot better and probably, you know, definitely a contention for NFC East. Hopefully, God help me, please, NFC division tit or the ⁓ the NFC conference title. But I think the Cowboys I know a lot about good offense and not great defense. Yeah. So I ⁓ honestly I completely agree with it, you're saying. Obviously the Cowboys are gonna have a good d good offense every year. It just seems like a lot of the pieces are finally coming set for the Cowboys. Especially this year. I mean, re signing Javante Williams, you got George Pickey on the franchise tag. Yeah, I don't even want to know what it is. ⁓ brother. He might be not he might not be a cowboy next year. We're we're putting a four at the shard of whatever he's getting. CeeDee Lamb might be demoted to wide receiver two based on contract size. Maybe. Skill wise, maybe not, but George Pickens might be making We might need to restructure Dak Prescott's contract. We might need a new quarterback. We might need to go get a rookie quarterback so we can pay George Pickens. All right. I think that's enough cowboy talk. Cowboys are opening the season. ⁓ I saw we were playing the Seattle Seahawks for our first preseason game. So listen, I'm I don't want to get too much in the preseason. I know we we said last week, like, you know what? Last week we talked about the Arizona Cardinals and the the Carolina Panthers preseason game. It was the most watched preseason game of all time, by the way. Yeah. And ⁓ I didn't get to mention this, but ⁓ who is the quarterback that came in for the Panthers? ⁓ Haynes King. Haynes King. Georgia Tech legend. Yeah. Did you hear that he's already now he's now injured. He injured himself from that final play. Pulled his hamstring. Really? Yep. That's the kind of guy I want on my team. Yeah, it's just something. But his body on the line. Well he's fighting for a position, leads him on a game winning drive, and then gets hurt doing it. Left it all out there. But I know Bryce Young was worried for a second. He's like, ⁓ Aynes King's coming in. I might I might not be the star quarterback. I know Bryce Young gets a lot of eight, but I don't think he has anything to worry about. I did see that they are I did see that they kinda want ⁓ Haynes King in like a Taysom Hill role, which is just funny to see that that's like a thing. Especially for that division. Yeah. NFC South. Exactly. Taysom Hill's leaving and there's a new Taysom Hill in town. It's Haynes King. ⁓ Also, shout out Carson Beck in that game, the Hall of Fame game. Not Not bad question mark. Not bad. Not bad. Arizona Cardinals might have found a quarterback question. Granted, he did he get he did get to play the the Panthers in a a preseason game. Yeah. I d I that's right. You don't want to look too much into the tea leaves. He was playing against ⁓ he kept saying on the broadcast like these defenses are in elementary school concepts of defense. Like there's nothing they're not doing anything serious right now. Let's show like the athletes are substantially better. Yeah. ⁓ I thought it was just a good eye test for Carson Beck and Haynes King as well. Kenny Pickett kind of got out dueled by two rookie quarterbacks. Surprise, surprise. Also, it was crazy that I didn't realize that Haynes King had been ACC player of the year and didn't get drafted. Carson Beck obviously led Miami on that run and did get drafted. Just I guess, you know, what did the awards mean? Better outcome for the team. No. Put you on the the pedestal. All right, moving on to the next thing here. Matt, you had notable candidates for the twenty twenty seven Pro Football Hall of Fame. Yeah, they came out with a I think I did see this. Fox came out with a little screenshot on Twitter about who's eligible. Yeah, and who yeah, I guess first year eligibility. I'm glad you're bringing this up. I guess it might not be first year for some of these guys, but most of them. But ⁓ starting off, Adrian Peterson. I guess we can we can go through we should we should go through it and say Okay, I like this. Yes or no? Adrian Peterson. Yes. Put him in the Hall of Fame. Agreed. Robert Gronkowski. Yes. Hall of Fame. Correct. Is there a limit to how many people they can put in the Hall of Fame? Is it five? I believe it is five. Five out of ten? Okay. So That's why I send people out to like Roger Craig. Yeah, had a way to call it. Waited so long, but Richard Sherman. Yes, I'd put Richard Sherman in the Hall of Fame. First ballot? I guess I don't know if some of these guys aren't first. Yeah, will Richard Sherman, whether he's a first ballot or will he eventually get in, I'm just gonna say yes. I don't know once again, like Bill Belichick wasn't a first ballot hall of fame, or he got he got gypped as a coach. Yeah, that kind of says it all. Yeah. So but we agreed. We'll be in the Hall of Fame. Correct. Okay. Big Ben. Yes, but I we had a little pre show conversation. I was talking some trash on Big Ben. You were two rings. Yeah, yeah. He'll get into the Hall of Fame. Yeah. It's just tough seeing like True Breeze get in and now like a guy like Ben Rothesberger who can't hold Breeze's drugstrap. You know? It's like it's just hard to say is this guy Hall of Fame worthy? Yeah, definitely had like the benefit of having a good team around him. I mean, Drew Brees did too. And had I mean, like, they both had great head coaches around them, Sean Payton and Mike Tomlin. Fair. But I think you're I think you're on the right right track there. Speaking of P Bs who might might not get in. Cameron Newton. He's eligible? Yes, sir. I don't think he'll get into the Hall of Fame. I don't think he should. I mean, I know he has an MVP. Don't get me wrong. Incredible prime, but he got to the Super Bowl and what happened? Right. The infamous. ⁓ And when like Cam Newton, I would love to see him get a Hall of Fame just 'cause like I don't know, growing up watching him, he was literally a superhero. Like you talk about his prime. Like when he was with the Carolina Panthers, it was like shit, that guy looks s that guy's a freaking Genetic freak. I know a lot about Cam Newton. Yeah. But do I think he's Hall of Fame worthy? No. I mean, if Johnny Unidas is in there, fucking throw Cam Newton in there. Right. Next we got Andrew Whitworth. Now here's where I'm gonna be a little bit out of my element with the LSU legends. Left tackle. I don't think won a Super Bowl with the Rams. Dan does have the hardware for it. I think he will eventually get in, but definitely not a first ballot. I agree. He could be someone that waits a little while to eventually get in. Speaking of somebody who might wait a while. Antonio Brown. No, I wouldn't put him in the Hall of Fame. First of I don't even think Kane will will take him with all the Correct. All the off the field drama, but I don't I don't I don't think Hall of Fame with him. But he like Don't get me wrong, the Steelers years Prime A B That's absolute Hall of Fame. Worthy. Right. And didn't he he has a Super Bowl ring with Tampa Bay when they went? I don't know. Was he I think he was on the Tampa Bay roster whenever they they won the Super Bowl. But I just think like all the off the field drama, I think there's a vote to get into the Hall of Fame. I think a lot of those voters would say no to Antonio Brown. But obviously, like the prime we just talked about Cam Newton. Great prime. But it's like I think it's all about like what you did in your prime. fact that we're having to have to ask the question of did he get a Super Bowl ring with Tampa Bay should tell you everything you need to know. I'm pretty sure he was on that that Tampa Bay team. ⁓ when did they win? Twenty twenty? Yes. Twenty twenty one? Yeah he was there. Yeah I was pretty sure he was on mid season signing. Yeah. And then he just I guess next season was when he took his pads off mid game and left. Yep. But force trait all pro first teams Seven time Pro Bowl, Hall of Fame, all twenty tens team. It's not bad hardware, but he is crazy. The last one I have is Gerald McCoy. Gerald McCoy, is that the corner? ⁓ D tackle. He's more of a niche kind of guy, but I think that's kind of all how interior Laman really are. Yeah. I mean, I probably not. Not with this class. Yeah, especially not with this class. Maybe if there was like a really down year he has a chance. All pro first team one time, two other all pro second teams. ⁓ but I don't know, I feel like it should take more than three all pros. I mean, although that's that's very good. But I thought that was fun. That's the most notable guys from the this upcoming class. So what I like is that a bunch of the quarterbacks from like the twenty tens, like those superstars, like Peybang, Drew Brees, Tom Brady, they all retired at different times. So they're all eligible at different times to get into the Hall of Fame. Like Phillip Rivers just came back last season and played, so he's his clock just reset. There's a good chance he'll probably get in. I did see there's of the top five Passing leaders of all time, there's two left to get into the Hall of Fame. Yeah, I just looked up Tom Brady is eligible for twenty twenty eight. You think he'll get in? I I think Tom Brady might already have his bus made for twenty twenty eight. And then the other one. Well, is there someone else? It's top five in passing yards. ⁓ who else is left? Aaron Rodgers. Correct. ⁓ he'll get in. Also correct. So I guess one of them will have to wait longer than the other one. Who Aaron you're talking about Aaron Rodgers? Yeah, he'll have to wait, obviously, because he's still buying, but they'll both get in. All right. I just yeah, I just dude, watching the ceremony. Dude reads me at last. ⁓ are you talking about the speeches? The enshrinement? Last Saturday. Dude, that was like man, that was so emotional. I saw like some TikToks about it, like There's some girl that posted about her her husband, she was like, He wasn't even this emotional at my wedding. And now he's crying over you know, Drew Brees making it to the Hall of Fame. Like, yes. He put a fucking city, estate, on his shoulders. Took him out of the brown paper bags over their heads to get a Super Bowl ring. Yeah, I heard everyone reliving like the the favorite like Drew Brees moment. They were Drew Brees was talking about like the loudest he had ever heard of stadium was the the game after the Katrina when they were back in the Mercedes Benz, the dome. He said it was one of the loudest pops he's heard in the block punt? Yeah. Steve Gleason blocked punt. Yep. Dude, I see that. Absolutely, man. Like I see Steve Gleason like every time I go to a Sans game. We said, you know, fifty yard line kinda lower level. ⁓ and he kinda I guess to the left there's like a little area down there before you go down to the the bunker level, which is a bunch of, you know, bars and restaurants and stuff. And he has his own Lee soon has his own like area that he's gets to watch the games. Yeah, I saw so much respect for that guy, Ben. Yeah. Just back on the Drew Brees I saw him and Sean Payton was there, obviously, and I saw the I kinda saw the clip too that he was talking about, you know, Sean Payton, how he took a chance on bringing Drew Brees in. He said he always had something to prove to to Sean Payton and the rest of the Saints organization that he was trying to make him proud and I think he he obviously did that. Yeah. Dude, I teared up several times, man. That's you I mean, you literally got the jersey behind you. I know, that's my guy. I guess some people won't understand unless you have Yeah, a guy you've watched your entire life that's been, you know, at the top pretty much every year, I guess. Especially when he won a Super Bowl for your team. And he retires and Yeah, it's just Hey, you don't have to worry about it too much. He's gonna be joining NBC on the broadcast. You thought it better, dude. He's very good at that as well. By the way. He might I ⁓ I did see that ⁓ JJ Watt is filling Tony Romo spot. Speaking of favorite quarterbacks from your favorite team. Talking about Tony Romo now. Yeah. I think we I think we gotta again get a little bit of Tony Romo. We get that out of the way already. We don't need to we revisit that. Yeah, JJ Watt is J Watt's filming spot. I they'd be good. Yeah, I do feel bad for JJ Watt kind of taking some of the the heat from everyone being like, Why is CBS getting rid of Tony Romo or I think it was also something with his contract was coming up, so CBS was using this as a way to get out of it. But I think he'll find another spot. Jerry Jones had his comments where he's like, Tony Ramos coming back. Don't worry. He's a fighter. Whenever he gets knocked down, he gets up. Knocked down. Jerry, Jerry had to get his statements in. Speaking of quarterbacks that are going to be eligible for the Hall of Fame in a couple years. Teddy Bridgewater. Teddy two gloves. Bridgewater officially retires after twelve years in the NFL. ⁓ put out a statement. He says it. is for real this time. I guess I didn't realize he had already retired before and came back, but he said it's it's official. I'm not coming back. This one's gonna stick for good. ⁓ said he wants to his body just can't recover like it used to. Obviously like Father Times undefeated. And that he wants to be able to, you know, watch his children grow up and be healthy with with them. So I can respect that. He also talked about a gruesome knee injury that he had back in twenty sixteen and how doctors thought he would never play in the NFL again. I was trying to look up like the clip for this. I guess it's just been scrubbed from the internet. I do remember there was like a very gruesome in injury with his knee that happened. It was like a non contact injury. I just couldn't remember exactly like the game that it happened. I do remember the game against the Rams in which he got knocked out. I think that was a playoff game when he was just lying cold on the ground. So took a lot of big hits in the NFL Obviously had his run with multiple teams. I think he played I think it was like five different teams. He played with he was drafted by the Vikings. ⁓ played for the Saints, Carolina Panthers, Broncos, and Miami Dolphins. And then was also on the Detroit Lions when he announced his retirement. So also played for the Jets. Also played for the Jets. Also has a government law named after him in Florida, the Teddy Bridgewater Act that allows high school athlete coaches Or ⁓ allows high school coaches in the state to use their own money to help their players with expenses such as food, transportation, physical therapy, and rehabilitation services. So pretty cool. He's got an act named after him. So all you can do I think was ⁓ I think he was a coach for his son's high school team. Yeah, that's what he retired the first time. Well, that's what the law's about, is because he was using his NFL money to like fund the team and I guess the government was saying like you can't do that, but now there's a Teddy Bridgewater Act that does allow that to happen. So good guy Teddy Bridgewater. One time Pro Bowl or Teddy Bridgewater. One time Pro Bowler. Let's put that respect on his name. Of course. ⁓ moving on here, some Bills new stuff is going down. They got a new stadium and they got new jerseys, Matt. Did you see the jerseys that the Bills unveiled? I did. Lot of fans aren't too happy with them. Someone compared it to a what was it, Detroit or not ⁓ they compared them to a Diet Pepsi can. Shout out to the Bills. That's not the greatest, but they also unveiled their new stadium, which I guess some people are coming out about. ⁓ it's a two point one billion dollar stadium, holds sixty thousand people. I thought it looked like a cool stadium. Apparently everyone is now up in arms saying like there's a bunch of seats with obstructed views. Yeah. I mean from the outside looking in and it looks new, futuristic. I'm also glad it's gonna be an open air stadium. So like everyone knows Buffalo, you know, you've seen the games where there's like the big snow games are gonna keep that they think that's like what makes the Buffalo Bills the Buffalo Bills. Glad a lot of teams are switching to the dome, not the Bills. Bills like, we're gonna keep it open air. They did they didn't make it where like the covering covers like more of the fans. So the fans won't get shown on as much. But the field's full on open. And also apparently the aerodynamics of the field supposed to help with like the wind not be as crazy for kicks. Don't know too much of the science on it, but smarter people, you know, design the save than us. So I did I watched ⁓ I watched Josh Allen's run out. I guess they had like an open practice or something for people to come out there and check it out. It looked like a cool stadium. Josh Allen, shout out Josh Allen, went around the stadium and was throwing his the football with a bunch of like little kids in the stadium. I was like, dude, that's what I would do if I was an NFL like superstar. I'd go make like some little kids' day and just go play catch with them. He went around the whole stadium. The whole like first bowl just was throwing the football to him. Good guy. Good guy, Josh Allen. Good guy, Josh Allen. Can't beat him. Speaking of the Bills here, we're gonna get into Matt has a list here from Bleach Report as the top ten most stacked teams. I have not seen it, but Matt. Go ahead and and present the teams. Yeah, so police report came out with their their top ten stock teams, like you just said. The Buffalo Bills just crossed the threshold at number ten. Most team. Number nine. You want me to guess ⁓ or do you wanna Yeah, okay. We can do that. Okay. I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go I'm gonna go ten Bills, obviously. Correct. Well, how'd you know that? Just something came to me. Speaking of, I'm gonna go Dallas Cowboys and then nine? ⁓ am I gonna Are you guessing like completely no? I don't know if I'm that good. Okay. Cowboys? Cowboys. No. Not in the top ten? Not in the top ten. ⁓ wow, okay. I'm saying you know, Bleach Report comes out with some crazy stuff. Yeah, I did just see like their top one thousand players. List has a lot of people up in arms. I haven't even looked at it yet. I've seen they've had they've had Jervis super low and some stuff. So ⁓ okay. Okay, wow. So that stoned me for a wrench. I'm gonna go, let's go Seattle Seahawks. Can't have the Super Bowl champions out. Okay, guess number eight. Number eight, Seattle Seahawks. All right. Let me go some here that are little surprising. Let me go forty niners. Number nine. Okay, I got I I am kind of doing in order. Surprised you guessed them, honestly. Well, imagine they're doing like no injuries. ⁓ Let me see what other teams we got here. Even if they were fully healthy, I don't know if I'd put them. Give me the Cincinnati Bengals. Not on the top ten list. Okay. There's okay, that's tough. Detroit Lions. Number four. Number four. Okay, that's actually That's feels like really high. Correct. I also agree. All right. So move on here. I let's go with the Denver Broncos. Denver Broncos are number seven. Okay, so I got ten through seven and four. I am kind of going in order here. Broncos are seven very low. Yeah. Lions three swats ahead of them is kind of crazy. Well, they got the Broncos and Seahawks right next to each other. Literally the teams that were just in the Super Bowl. I see I know who's gonna be number one. So I'm saving that one. I don't think you do. I think I I think I know. You would think if if Bleach Report has that not on the You would think. All right. ⁓ did I say the Chiefs already? You did not. Give me the Chiefs. Not on list. Not on the list is surprising. All right. So I guess I guess health doesn't matter then. Okay. Chargers? Not on the list. Not on the list? All right, ⁓ what about the Eagles? Eagles at number three. Okay. Honestly. How about Chicago Bears? Not on the list. Green Bay Packers. Not on the list. Dude, who is on this list? I mean let's see, you have one, you've got I'm missing one. You've got you've got five you have six of them. Yeah, I'm missing one, two, five, and six, I think. Yes. All right. Houston Texans. Number one on the list. No. No. I mean that means number two is who? Number number two is gonna be the Los Angeles Ramses. Yes. Brother. Okay. You're telling me all right now this has got me a little Yeah. I just on paper. The Rams might be the best team of all time. That is actually and they have CJ Stroud and the Texans at number one. ⁓ well, I okay, so I threw Texans out there because there's just been some other stuff, but I mean Texans should be top ten for sure. I don't even have them in the top ten. Maybe the defense. Yeah, I think that should carry them. Nico Collins and But I would put the Texans below the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos. Absolutely. Dude, that's actually insane. All right. ⁓ so I'm missing I'm missing five and six now. Go ahead and tell me five and six. AFC North. AFC North for both of them? Yes. And they've already said one. I was gonna say the Ravens. Yeah, number six. Okay. And then I I said the Bengals? Did they weren't on the list, right? They were not on the list. So it's gonna be the Steelers? Cleveland Browns. Steelers. I was about to dude I honestly I mean Texans, I was gonna I wasn't gonna be shocked if it was the Browns. That's the same reaction. Like Steelers at five is fucking absurd. Yeah, I don't know Rams not one. See Miles Garrett, probably Aaron Donald, Trim McDuffie, Jalen Watson, Pookinakua, Devontae Adams, Kyron Williams, Matthew Stafford, and that's just to name a few. Those are the some of the best players. Those are like three of the best players at their position in the NFL. Yeah, trying to see if I can pull up the futures for the NFL. That's what I'm saying. Like Bleacher Report, dude. I know they need the views and stuff, but like that's insane. Well, that's why they're doing it. I know, but like I almost want to cut this from the podcast. That's just that's just clickbait journalism right there. Absolutely. They're they're trying to shock us. We should get in on that. Yeah, we should we should just make a list of ourselves. Brown's number one there. There's my stack team. That's insane. Yeah, that's what I'm I'm I thought for sure like like I'm biased towards the Cowboys, but I would like to think like on paper, if they're just showing off paper top ten, easy. Well, I I think we're cowboy we're both Cowboys truthers. I'm not saying it's our year, but I'm saying like Right. On paper. Ten teams. We should be t in the top ten. Absolutely. It's like for some teams they did paper and some of them they didn't. That's actually, you know, that's a great list, Matt. That actually that shocked me. It's absurd. Lions at four? Didn't even make the playoffs last year, by the way. Texans at one. I mean Rams okay. Super Bowl favorites right now, by the way. We're going in circle. We're going in circles here. That's actually insane though. Well that list was absolutely ⁓ Abysmal. We'll probably bring back some more bad list. We are in the true offseason in the NFL. That's very good content. We're we're itching our way towards the actual start of the NFL season. We don't have to listen to these lists anymore. But ⁓ with that, we can move on to some other sports news. Little league world series has started up, and we got the best bets for you in this one. Just kidding, we're not placing any bets on Little Series. I just saw that started, so I was like, ⁓ my Shout out Prize Picks. Our sponsor for today's Prize Picks. We're gonna be talking about the Texas team that's gonna dominate the Little League World Series. No, we're actually not gonna talk about that. It might be I don't I actually I have no idea what's going on with the Little League World Series. I just know we're that's where we're at in the sports cycle right now. There's some degenerates that just their ears just perked up. I don't even I don't know if you can bet on Little League. Actually, probably with all the changes that's happened, I bet there's a way you can. You can bet on anything, buddy. Find out ⁓ one of the kids that's just like shot up and is grown a lot more than all the other kids and he's just hitting nukes over the fence. Yeah. It just sort it just grew like five inches over the summer. Yeah. They just absolut yeah, they just give him the Barry Bonds treatment, walking him every time. All right, but that we'll move into our one final question here. We do have one final question this week. And if you're a fantasy football junkie, this is gonna be for you, especially if you have the first pick. So, Matt. Sure. If you had the first overall pick in your fantasy football draft, would you draft B. John Robinson or would you draft Jameer Gibbs, both the top running backs considered this season? There's a lot of debate on, you know, who would you go at one one? You know, there's there's honestly verdict arguments for for both guys. Like B. John, he has two ⁓ and Michael Penix as a quarterback. Maybe I mean, to be fair, Tua did lead the league in passing yards whatever season that was a few seasons ago. ⁓ but also like you know, it it's kind of the same thing, like Jared Goff and Amon Ra, Sam Laporta, Jameson Williams. They both have pretty solid passing attacks either side. Initial thought was Jameer Gibbs. ⁓ obviously Dan Campbell came out and said like we haven't or I guess we haven't used, you know, Jameer Gibbs to his full capacity. Like we're you know, this upcoming season he's you know, he we're gonna get the most out of him. ⁓ and that's pretty encouraging to hear. But also Bijan is is Bijan. Give me a straight up answer. Jameer beater on the bush. Jameer Gibbs. Just lost just lost Dave Montgomery. Touchdown merchant, touchdown stealer, David Montgomery. Give me Jameer Gibbs. Give me give me a thousand yards plus and a thousand plus yards receiving. I'm on the other side of the coin. I'm taking B. John Robinson. We don't have you know, you talk about Jameer Gibbs losing David Montgomery. You know, Bijan just lost Tyler Algier, who was the end zone merchant taking touchdowns away from him all the time. Now that Tyler Gier's out of the picture, good. Bijan can get all the carries. Also, I'm glad he doesn't have good quarterback play roundup. You know what that means? More rushes. Tua Bijan's. Like I just said, Tua led the league in r in passing two years ago. They don't even know who's going to be starting. It could be Cooper Rush. Both Michael Penix and Tua go down. You have the goat at tight end. You know what Cooper Rush is really good at doing? Hand the ball off to Bijan. That's what he'll be able to do. Also, I don't This is brand new news that came out today. And another reason why I am against Jaber Gibbs. The Lions just lost their center Cade Cade Mays to a wrist injury and he's out eight to ten weeks. You're gonna be out the first start of the season without a key part of that offensive line. Now, don't get me wrong, Dan Campbell's great, but Jared Goff's still really good at distributing the ball. He's gonna be to get Amar Ra. He's gonna be able to get Jameson Williams, ⁓ Isaac Te Isaac Tesla. ⁓ Sam Laporta, there's just a lot more mouths to feed on that offense. What happened last year? Jimmy Gibbs. He did pretty good. Was he pretty good? Yeah, but he also had a full offensive line around him. The Falcons are gonna have a horrible defense and that's gonna be the only thing that keeps well not horrible. They've had a lot of injuries. That's gonna be the one thing that hurts Bijan is that the Falcons are probably gonna be in a lot more pass situations. That's fair. I mean, I would say the Lions are a pass for offense. Right. So And Jameer Gibbs is a pass heavy back. And Bijan isn't? No, I'm saying like Bijan will be, but he's not to the caliber of Jameer Gibbs. Are we arguing are we just arguing opposite positions now? No, I'm take I'm taking Bijan Robinson. You're taking Jameer Gibbs. Okay. They're both rushing and receiving backs. I don't I mean it's it's kind of just like a fifty, like you said. Fifty fifty. Flip a coin. Bijan might be the best. Gibbs might be the best. I'm just saying, like coming from the coach who has said that he wants to get more out of Jameer Gibbs. Right. Even after last year, when he got a fucking substantial amount out of Jameer Gibbs. I just think I don't know, that's a safe bet. Yeah, but obviously both of them are safe bets, right? Yeah. That's why they're going good that's why they're gonna go one and two. I wouldn't s you know but one of ⁓ will be better than the other. That's what we're trying to help decipher with whoever is facing that option right now. If you have the first overall pick, like you have to pick everything. Honestly, it would probably be better to be the guy that's picking second, 'cause he'd be like, That's the guy that fell to me. I gotta take him anyways. You that decision gets made for you. ⁓ I will say Jameer Gibbs does have Isaiah Pacheco behind him, who I think has been fake facing some injuries as well. So it might be the Jameer Gibbs show. ⁓ D. John Robison has Brian Robinson Jr. behind him, so make sure you pick the right B. Robinson running back for Atlanta if you're if you're going that route. ⁓ but I I like B. John, obviously, you know, very explosive back. I think he's a little bit bigger body too, so I think he can handle a lot more of the hits throughout the NFL season. Jameer Gibbs a bit smaller, but also like that helps with his speed. But ⁓ I if it was me one one, I'm going B. John Robinson. I just write that. No. But with that, we can get out to closing off the show. They give one from listening. Let us know in the comments who you would take with your one-one pick. If you're in that one-one pick, let us know in the comments who you're taking. ⁓ thanks for listening.
