- 0:07Speaker 1: It's mediat Podcast. Welcome to Meet Eater Trivia, the only
- 0:12Speaker 1: game show where conservation always wins. I'm your host, Spencer Newhart,
- 0:16Speaker 1: and today we're joined by Brody Henderson, Seth Morris, Randall Williams,
- 0:21Speaker 1: Tresa Croker, Chester, Floyd, Colin Fopma, Cordy Culkins, and Alyssa Smith.
- 0:26Speaker 1: This is a ten round quiz show for Meat Eater's
- 0:29Speaker 1: four verticals, which are hunting, fishing, conservation and cooking, and
- 0:32Speaker 1: there is a prize. Meat Eater will donate five hundred
- 0:35Speaker 1: dollars to the conservation organization of the winners choosing and
- 0:39Speaker 1: each week here on Trivia we reveal a new stat
- 0:42Speaker 1: for the stat of the Week. This week, we're looking
- 0:45Speaker 1: at listener questions in the Meat Eater Trivia board game,
- 0:49Speaker 1: which comes out this fall. Of the eight hundred questions
- 0:52Speaker 1: in the game, two hundred and thirty five were sent
- 0:55Speaker 1: by listeners. That means you, the fans, contributed to nearly
- 0:59Speaker 1: thirty of the game. Now, I didn't have a chance
- 1:02Speaker 1: to email all two hundred and thirty five of you
- 1:05Speaker 1: whose questions were chosen, So here's what I'm going to
- 1:08Speaker 1: do instead. Around the time that the board game comes out.
- 1:11Speaker 1: I'll post an article on the medeater dot com that
- 1:13Speaker 1: lists every person's name who had a question in the game,
- 1:17Speaker 1: And just like on the show, you are credited in
- 1:20Speaker 1: the board game for sending that great question. Now here's
- 1:23Speaker 1: an example. Cordy Culkins has in his hand a card
- 1:27Speaker 1: from the game. Cory, go ahead and read question one
- 1:30Speaker 1: thirty eight for me, and after you give the room
- 1:32Speaker 1: a chance to answer, flip over to reveal the correct answer.
- 1:37Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:38Speaker 3: Also known as a bell or a beard, this word
- 1:41Speaker 3: describes the flap of skin that means from a moose's chin.
- 1:46Speaker 1: It's not moose. What other guesses read it again for us? Corey?
- 1:52Speaker 3: Also known as a bell or a beard, This word
- 1:55Speaker 3: describes the flap of skin that hangs from a moose's china.
- 2:01Speaker 1: That's not it either. I don't know any other guests.
- 2:04Speaker 4: I thought I was a bell.
- 2:07Speaker 1: All right, Go ahead and dude, flip over the card Corey,
- 2:11Speaker 1: what's known as a do lap? That's right? And what
- 2:13Speaker 1: does it say below? The answer.
- 2:17Speaker 4: Has my name on it, it does have his.
- 2:18Speaker 5: Name on it.
- 2:19Speaker 1: That's what I'm talking about. So if you sent in,
- 2:21Speaker 1: if you were one of the two hundred and thirty
- 2:23Speaker 1: five people. Your card in the game has your name
- 2:28Speaker 1: on it, just like this one has Corey's name on it.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Corey sent me that question. It was good enough to
- 2:33Speaker 1: make it in the board game. You got Randall.
- 2:37Speaker 5: Well, I was just gonna say now, Corey's question is
- 2:39Speaker 5: ruined for faithful listeners.
- 2:41Speaker 1: There's one question ruined. That's right, But his name is
- 2:45Speaker 1: on the card. How does that feel, Corey? See your
- 2:46Speaker 1: name there in the big bright lights of the Meat
- 2:48Speaker 1: Eater Trivia board game.
- 2:49Speaker 3: I feel like I hit the big time spencer.
- 2:51Speaker 1: You did. Meat Eatter Trivia, The only board game where
- 2:54Speaker 1: conservation always wins, comes out this fall.
- 2:57Speaker 2: If I was to send you a question as soon
- 2:59Speaker 2: as we're done here, is it too late?
- 3:01Speaker 1: Too late? The board game is being made right now
- 3:06Speaker 1: in some factory and will be in our Meat Eater
- 3:08Speaker 1: store very soon.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Cool.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Here's our zero percenter question of the week, which tests
- 3:13Speaker 1: how much knowledge players have retained from previous shows. Corey's
- 3:17Speaker 1: question is now going to be a zero percenter for us.
- 3:20Speaker 1: This question was from episode three forty seven. The topic
- 3:23Speaker 1: was wildlife, and nobody got it right. Name one of
- 3:27Speaker 1: the four states that lists the black Bear as an
- 3:30Speaker 1: official state mammal.
- 3:33Speaker 4: South Carolina No, No, Wisconsin.
- 3:37Speaker 2: No, Florida, no, Mississippi.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Keep going, you get there eventually, saw Georgia. No, New Jersey, No,
- 3:47Speaker 1: no New York, No.
- 3:49Speaker 4: Some of them.
- 3:51Speaker 2: States.
- 3:52Speaker 4: Keep going.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Alaska, No, We're gonna sit here all day till wintery
- 3:56Speaker 1: gets one of the four.
- 3:57Speaker 5: No, Arma, New Hampshire, Connectic's.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Still at Arkansasaba, New Mexico, Okay, Chester got one. Alabama
- 4:08Speaker 1: is a correct answer. The other three states are Louisiana,
- 4:12Speaker 1: New Mexico, and West Virginia. The incorrect answers given in
- 4:16Speaker 1: that game were Kentucky, Maine, Wyoming, North Carolina, Vermont, Pennsylvania,
- 4:21Speaker 1: and Oregon. Still a tough question, We have some housekeeping
- 4:26Speaker 1: to get to. Over the history of meat eater trivia,
- 4:28Speaker 1: I've read a lot of Boone and Crockett and Pope
- 4:31Speaker 1: and Young scores. An example would be that the world
- 4:34Speaker 1: record black bears scored twenty three and ten sixteenths, or
- 4:38Speaker 1: that the world record pronghorn is ninety six and four eights.
- 4:42Speaker 1: This has inspired a lot of listeners to write in
- 4:45Speaker 1: saying that I need to reduce those numbers to the
- 4:47Speaker 1: lowest common denominator. But that is incorrect. The Boone and
- 4:51Speaker 1: Crocket record book lists their scores to either a sixteenth
- 4:55Speaker 1: of an inch or for lower scoring animals like bears
- 4:58Speaker 1: or cougars, or to an eighth of an inch for
- 5:01Speaker 1: higher scoring animals like deer or elk. This is so
- 5:05Speaker 1: that there's no mental math involved when comparing animal scores,
- 5:09Speaker 1: like if three fourths is bigger than thirteen sixteenths for example. Now,
- 5:14Speaker 1: I understand why this might sound like nails on a
- 5:16Speaker 1: chalkboard to some folks, but it's actually designed to make
- 5:19Speaker 1: it easier to communicate these numbers. Now, the Shelby index
- 5:23Speaker 1: for today's round is a three and eight sixteenths, so
- 5:26Speaker 1: our winner should get seven correct answers.
- 5:29Speaker 4: You know, people are real into that Boone and Crocket scoring.
- 5:31Speaker 4: They never leave the fraction off the end.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Yeah, why would you you every?
- 5:36Speaker 4: What that loocky shots? What are you scoring?
- 5:38Speaker 1: Well, he's right here on my arm, Brody. He was
- 5:41Speaker 1: one sixty six and four eights and a half. And
- 5:47Speaker 1: with that we're on to the game of trivia. Played
- 5:50Speaker 1: the drop, Phil, Look, I need to know what I
- 5:55Speaker 1: stand and win everything?
- 5:58Speaker 5: How's that ten?
- 6:00Speaker 1: Win everything? Gamon suckers? Thank you Phil. Question one The
- 6:15Speaker 1: topic is woodsmanship, and this will be multiple choice. Which
- 6:19Speaker 1: of these animals kills the most humans worldwide each year?
- 6:24Speaker 1: Is it scorpions, elephants, crocodiles, or dogs. Which of these
- 6:32Speaker 1: animals kills the most people worldwide each year? Your four
- 6:37Speaker 1: choices are scorpions, elephants, crocodiles, dogs. We have a pretty
- 6:43Speaker 1: confident room. Brody, do you have this one right?
- 6:46Speaker 4: I'm feeling good.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Seth, you also seem confident. Do you have this one right?
- 6:50Speaker 2: I'm feeling good as well?
- 6:51Speaker 1: Scorpions, elephants, crocodiles or dogs? Is everybody ready?
- 6:57Speaker 5: Doctor?
- 6:58Speaker 4: Can I give everyone a hint?
- 7:01Speaker 1: Go ahead and reveal your answers. We have Set saying dogs,
- 7:05Speaker 1: Tresa saying crocs, Chester and Colin saying dogs, Alyssa saying crocodiles,
- 7:12Speaker 1: Randall saying dogs, Cordy saying elephants, Brody saying dogs. The
- 7:18Speaker 1: correct answer is dogs. The room did pretty well. What's
- 7:23Speaker 1: your hand, Brody? What do you got?
- 7:24Speaker 6: Oh?
- 7:25Speaker 4: No, I was just gonna say that the critter that
- 7:28Speaker 4: kills the most people is not on that list.
- 7:30Speaker 1: It is not on that list. Indeed, that would be
- 7:32Speaker 1: a mosquito. It's estimated that dogs kill between twenty five
- 7:36Speaker 1: thousand and thirty five thousand humans each year. Scorpions kill
- 7:41Speaker 1: about three thousand people, Crocodiles kill about one thousand people,
- 7:45Speaker 1: and elephants kill about one hundred people. About forty Americans
- 7:49Speaker 1: die from fatal dog attacks annually, with most victims either
- 7:53Speaker 1: being very young or very old. Question two. The topic
- 7:58Speaker 1: is conservation. This next great question comes to his via
- 8:02Speaker 1: Terence Kane. If you have a question you think is
- 8:04Speaker 1: right for Meat Eater Trivia, you can send it to
- 8:06Speaker 1: Trivia at the medeater dot com. The Federal Aid in
- 8:11Speaker 1: Wildlife Restoration Act of nineteen thirty seven is better known
- 8:16Speaker 1: by this name. Again, the topic is conservation. The Federal
- 8:22Speaker 1: Aid in Wildlife Restoration Act of nineteen thirty seven is
- 8:27Speaker 1: better known by this name. A stumped room. A few
- 8:33Speaker 1: folks think they have it, everyone else is yet to
- 8:37Speaker 1: get to their whiteboard. Has anyone had any scary encounters
- 8:43Speaker 1: with dogs in their day?
- 8:45Speaker 4: I've have been a couple times.
- 8:46Speaker 1: What dogs? Well, can you specific.
- 8:53Speaker 4: My neighbor's with some white husky looking thing broke up
- 8:56Speaker 4: a dog fight. That's like always a stupid thing to do. Yeah,
- 8:59Speaker 4: put a whole right right through the hand.
- 9:04Speaker 1: Did you have to seek some medical Attah?
- 9:06Speaker 4: Yeah. When they gave me the shot, the needle went
- 9:10Speaker 4: all the way through my hand.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Like out the other side. Was that an accident?
- 9:15Speaker 4: She stuck it in the hole the Toothmaide.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Oh Trusty, you said you had your face about taking
- 9:23Speaker 1: off by a dog.
- 9:24Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 9:24Speaker 3: I was an elementary school and a Coffer Spaniel like Charmed.
- 9:27Speaker 1: My whole face was sworn for like two weeks straight. Oh, no,
- 9:30Speaker 1: she got some scars.
- 9:31Speaker 4: Do you have some PTSD from that?
- 9:34Speaker 3: No?
- 9:34Speaker 1: I love dogs. Here's the question again, the Federal Aid
- 9:38Speaker 1: and Wildlife Restoration Act of nineteen thirty seven. He's better
- 9:42Speaker 1: known by this name. Does everybody have an answer? Corey, yep?
- 9:51Speaker 4: Was this a throwing doctor? Randall at bone?
- 9:53Speaker 1: Here, go ahead and reveal your answers. We have Seth
- 9:57Speaker 1: saying Pittman Robertson, trust it without an answer. Chess, you're
- 10:00Speaker 1: saying Endangered Species Act. Colin saying Pittman Robertson. Alyssa saying
- 10:06Speaker 1: National Park Service, Randall saying Pittman Robertson. Cordy without an answer,
- 10:10Speaker 1: Brody saying Pittman Robertson, he got it. The correct answer
- 10:14Speaker 1: is Pittman Robertson Act. The Act provides funding for wildlife
- 10:19Speaker 1: habitat and wildlife research. It was amended in nineteen seventy
- 10:23Speaker 1: to include funding for hunter education programs and target ranges.
- 10:28Speaker 1: The Act is commonly referred to by the names of
- 10:30Speaker 1: its sponsors, who were Nevada Senator Key Pittman and Virginia
- 10:35Speaker 1: Congressman Absalom Robertson, Brody or excuse me, Randall, what have
- 10:40Speaker 1: you known? The opposite way of wording that question is
- 10:43Speaker 1: what is the official name of the Pittman Robertson Act.
- 10:46Speaker 7: Yes, but the real question would be can you name
- 10:49Speaker 7: the first names of Pittman and or roberts Nobody would
- 10:52Speaker 7: get that right, Absalom, I think would have been far
- 10:55Speaker 7: far down.
- 10:55Speaker 1: I don't even know if I'm saying that right. Absa Lamb,
- 11:00Speaker 1: I think you got it absolutely. Question three, the topic
- 11:05Speaker 1: is fishing. After this angler won the two thousand and
- 11:09Speaker 1: three bass Master Classic, a Chicago Sun Times reporter referred
- 11:14Speaker 1: to him as quote the bad boy of bass fishing.
- 11:20Speaker 1: After this angler won the two thousand and three bass
- 11:24Speaker 1: Master Classic, a Chicago Sun Times reporter referred to him
- 11:29Speaker 1: as quote, the bad boy of bass fishing, Brody, you
- 11:35Speaker 1: can't tell if you are happy with you.
- 11:38Speaker 4: I know I want it to be, but I just
- 11:41Speaker 4: can't say a lot.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Seth, Do you have this one right as the competitive
- 11:44Speaker 1: fishing guru in the room.
- 11:46Speaker 2: No, well maybe your board educated guest.
- 11:51Speaker 5: Yeah, I have an answer, not super confident.
- 11:55Speaker 1: How about you, Corey? Do you have an answer?
- 11:57Speaker 3: I do, but it's probably wrong.
- 12:00Speaker 5: Makes me nervous, and Brody does the face behind the board.
- 12:03Speaker 1: Here's the question again. After this angler won the two
- 12:06Speaker 1: thousand and three bass Master Classic, a Chicago Sun Times
- 12:10Speaker 1: reporter referred to him as the bad boy of bass fishing.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Is everybody ready, yes, go ahead and reveal your answers.
- 12:21Speaker 1: We have Seth saying kvd Tresa without an answer, Chester
- 12:26Speaker 1: saying Kevin van Dam, Colin saying Kevin van dam Alyssa
- 12:29Speaker 1: without an answer, Randall saying Mike Ikinelly, Corey saying Bill Dance.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Brody saying, Mike Ikinnelly. We have a correct dancer in
- 12:38Speaker 1: the room. It's Mike Ikanelly.
- 12:42Speaker 4: Well done, Randall.
- 12:44Speaker 2: That was my second guest.
- 12:45Speaker 5: Likewise, brother, just.
- 12:46Speaker 4: It wasn't sure how old that dude was, you know
- 12:48Speaker 4: us twenty years ago?
- 12:49Speaker 1: Mike Andelly burst onto the scene after winning the Super
- 12:53Speaker 1: Bowl of Bass Fishing on the Louisiana Delta in two
- 12:56Speaker 1: thousand and three. He was known for his outbursts in
- 12:59Speaker 1: moments of triumph and misery, which viewers referred to as
- 13:03Speaker 1: going Ike. He holds the record for the most consecutive
- 13:06Speaker 1: bass Master Classic appearances, qualifying for the event every year
- 13:11Speaker 1: between two thousand and two and twenty nineteen.
- 13:15Speaker 4: Brodie Randall, you guys.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Are just too smart. I think I think you guys
- 13:19Speaker 1: should just not be allowed in here.
- 13:21Speaker 5: I think we're older. I think that's kind of a
- 13:23Speaker 5: dated reference.
- 13:24Speaker 4: Well, he's still around, He's still.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Still, he still fishes. It's right and seth over here
- 13:29Speaker 1: is a competitive fisherman from Pennsylvania. I think he grew
- 13:32Speaker 1: up in Jersey slash South Philly.
- 13:36Speaker 4: Make sure you're not dabbling in agism over.
- 13:42Speaker 1: You're smart.
- 13:43Speaker 2: I almost put Ike and Ellie, but Kevin van Dam
- 13:46Speaker 2: just retired, and I thought you're gonna have like a
- 13:48Speaker 2: tidbit about that.
- 13:48Speaker 4: He was tired. How old is he? It's not that old.
- 13:52Speaker 2: I don't know, but yeah, he just had his last tournament.
- 13:54Speaker 1: I think Ike is forty five. KBD can't be more
- 13:57Speaker 1: than a decade older than that. I would guess he's
- 14:00Speaker 1: just done. Question four. The topic is cooking. This is
- 14:05Speaker 1: our listener question of the week, which was won by
- 14:08Speaker 1: Alex van den Brink for sending this great question. Alex
- 14:11Speaker 1: is going to get a book signed by Steve. What
- 14:15Speaker 1: German word roughly translates to cutlet in English? Again, the
- 14:21Speaker 1: topic is cooking. What German word roughly translates to cutlet
- 14:27Speaker 1: in English? Colin Randall and Brody looking confident, not so much?
- 14:36Speaker 1: Who in here has some German roots? Alyssa? A lot
- 14:41Speaker 1: of pressure on you, Alyssa, no one else that's it?
- 14:45Speaker 4: Oh, I'm sure everyone's got a little.
- 14:47Speaker 5: Yeah, scoch.
- 14:51Speaker 1: What German word roughly translates to cutlet in English? Randall?
- 14:59Speaker 1: You you have this one right?
- 15:01Speaker 5: You know? I don't know. I don't know. I feel
- 15:05Speaker 5: like I should know it.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Brody looks confident. Now, if you're watching this episode on YouTube,
- 15:11Speaker 1: you actually get to see the board game here in
- 15:13Speaker 1: front of me. It's got the box that the whole
- 15:16Speaker 1: thing comes in, as well as this tin carrying case
- 15:19Speaker 1: which will fit the cards, whiteboards, markers that you can
- 15:22Speaker 1: fit in your glove box of your pickup, throw it
- 15:26Speaker 1: in your boat.
- 15:27Speaker 4: Next time. You gotta make that thing waterproof so it
- 15:29Speaker 4: floats and sealed.
- 15:31Speaker 1: Okay, we'll get package. Thank you, Chester. It does. Look,
- 15:36Speaker 1: here's a question again. What German word roughly translates to
- 15:39Speaker 1: cutlet in English. Is everybody who's going to come up
- 15:43Speaker 1: with an answer, have an answer? Chester, You forget about
- 15:48Speaker 1: your answer? Not really? Okay, I think it's German, though, Okay,
- 15:53Speaker 1: it's everybody ready.
- 15:57Speaker 5: Has been to Germany twice.
- 15:58Speaker 3: Really speak pretty fluent German.
- 16:00Speaker 1: He's gonna beet really, go ahead and reveal your answers.
- 16:08Speaker 1: We have seth without an answer. Tressis saying donka. Chester
- 16:12Speaker 1: saying what's that?
- 16:12Speaker 2: Say?
- 16:12Speaker 1: Chester, I can't see it. Snitzel, Colin say, Colin saying schnitzel,
- 16:19Speaker 1: Alyssa without an answer, Randall saying schnitzel Corey without an answer,
- 16:24Speaker 1: Brody saying schnitzel. The correct answer is schnitzel. Will give
- 16:28Speaker 1: it to Chester, even though hEDS I have a hard
- 16:34Speaker 1: time with spelling some things because of just how I talk,
- 16:38Speaker 1: just how we talk over there in Wisconsin. Schnitzel is
- 16:41Speaker 1: a dish that uses a very thin, boneless cut of meat.
- 16:45Speaker 1: Despite its name. Some sources say it originated from Austria.
- 16:49Speaker 1: If you want to learn how to cook schnitzel, then
- 16:51Speaker 1: go to the meat eater dot com and read Justin
- 16:53Speaker 1: Townsend's recipe for rabbit schnitzel or Stephen Ranella's recipe for
- 16:58Speaker 1: turkey schnitzel. Both recipes have perfect five star ratings. Question five,
- 17:05Speaker 1: The topic is hunting which migratory bird flyway crosses places
- 17:12Speaker 1: like Memphis, the Driftless Region and Lake Winnipeg. The topic
- 17:19Speaker 1: is hunting which migratory bird flyway crosses places like Memphis,
- 17:25Speaker 1: the Driftless Region and Lake Winnipeg. The room has been
- 17:33Speaker 1: quick to answer. See if they get it right. Everyone
- 17:37Speaker 1: looks pretty confident.
- 17:41Speaker 4: You need to tell me.
- 17:42Speaker 1: You need to tell me which flyway crosses places like Memphis,
- 17:46Speaker 1: the Driftless Region and Lake Winnipeg.
- 17:50Speaker 2: I'm not confident either.
- 17:52Speaker 1: Great fishing in the Driftless area and big green back
- 17:55Speaker 1: walleyes on Lake Winnipeg. It's not gonna help you with
- 17:59Speaker 1: this question, though, chess here.
- 18:01Speaker 5: Non to watch basketball?
- 18:06Speaker 4: How many flyways are there?
- 18:08Speaker 1: Not going to help you? There is? Everybody ready?
- 18:14Speaker 5: What did you have?
- 18:15Speaker 1: Randall about a fight?
- 18:17Speaker 5: The grizzlies.
- 18:19Speaker 7: As long as we're just naming things that we appreciate
- 18:21Speaker 7: about these individual areas.
- 18:23Speaker 1: Waterfowl, barbecue, that's that's good. That's cool. Doug Duran, he's fun.
- 18:30Speaker 4: I feel like I could be really screwing things up
- 18:32Speaker 4: with Randall here.
- 18:34Speaker 1: It's everybody ready, go ahead and reveal your answers. We
- 18:39Speaker 1: have set saying Mississippi. Tresta's saying Central Chester saying Central
- 18:44Speaker 1: Colin saying Mississippi, Alyssa saying Pacific, Randall saying Mississippi, Cordy
- 18:50Speaker 1: saying Mississippi, Brodie saying Mississippi. The correct answer is the
- 18:57Speaker 1: Mississippi Flyway did pretty well. The Mississippi Flyway includes about
- 19:03Speaker 1: fourteen states and three provinces. The route stretches from the
- 19:07Speaker 1: Gulf of Mexico to the Arctic Ocean, crossing over notable
- 19:11Speaker 1: water bodies like the Mississippi River, Missouri River, Great Lakes,
- 19:15Speaker 1: and Hudson Bay. It's estimated that forty percent of the
- 19:19Speaker 1: continents migrating waterfowl and shore birds use this route. Phil,
- 19:26Speaker 1: we are halfway through the game of trivia. Give us
- 19:29Speaker 1: a scoreboard update. I think I know who our leaders are.
- 19:32Speaker 2: Oh do yeah?
- 19:34Speaker 8: Well, let's start from the bottom. We've got Alyssa and
- 19:35Speaker 8: Tresa zero points apiece. Corey Culkins has one, Chester has two,
- 19:41Speaker 8: Seth has three, Colin has four and tied up in
- 19:43Speaker 8: first place with perfect games for each of them. We've
- 19:46Speaker 8: got Brody Anderson and Randall Williams by trading punches.
- 19:51Speaker 2: This is a tough seat. I'll say that.
- 19:54Speaker 1: Corey is nestled in between Brody and Randall.
- 19:57Speaker 4: Project for cheating, you shoul get your peripheral vision.
- 20:10Speaker 1: Question six. The topic is camping. This franchise, which was
- 20:16Speaker 1: founded in Montana, claims to have the most private campgrounds
- 20:21Speaker 1: in the world. And the topic is camping. This franchise,
- 20:28Speaker 1: which was founded in Montana, claims to have the most
- 20:32Speaker 1: private campgrounds in the world. Confident Brody and Randall, this
- 20:39Speaker 1: doesn't seem like it will break their tie. A few
- 20:43Speaker 1: other folks in the room look like they have it
- 20:45Speaker 1: as well. Brody, do you know this answer?
- 20:51Speaker 4: I'll be mad if I get it wrong.
- 20:53Speaker 1: Did you know that they started in my not?
- 20:56Speaker 5: Did not know that?
- 20:58Speaker 1: It's everybody ready, go ahead and reveal your answers. We
- 21:02Speaker 1: have Seth saying koa, Tresa saying koa. The entire room,
- 21:07Speaker 1: says KOA, they got it. The correct answer is k A.
- 21:14Speaker 1: KOA stands for Campgrounds of America, with the word campgrounds
- 21:18Speaker 1: being spelled with a K instead of a C. The
- 21:22Speaker 1: business was founded in nineteen sixty two, with its first
- 21:25Speaker 1: campground opening on the Yellowstone River near Billings, Montana. Today,
- 21:29Speaker 1: the franchise has more than five hundred locations spread across
- 21:33Speaker 1: the United States and Canada.
- 21:36Speaker 4: I like a good KOA the last time you, says,
- 21:39Speaker 4: like camping at a hotel.
- 21:40Speaker 1: When's the last time you stayed at a KOA last summer?
- 21:43Speaker 4: Or no last fall? During ALP season, Miles City KOA
- 21:46Speaker 4: highly recommended.
- 21:47Speaker 1: Okay, what did you like about? I don't love them.
- 21:50Speaker 1: It feels like like tailgating or something I'd rather not
- 21:54Speaker 1: don't some of them have pools?
- 21:56Speaker 2: I'm pretty well.
- 21:57Speaker 4: There's like different like levels of KOA. Hey, there's like
- 22:00Speaker 4: the posh ones and then like.
- 22:02Speaker 1: The posh one explaining what a posh one looks like.
- 22:05Speaker 4: Pools, cools that, Oh yeah, a little convenience store next
- 22:09Speaker 4: to everything, Yeah, anything you could need?
- 22:12Speaker 1: Yeah, kways five one Mile City isn't like that.
- 22:15Speaker 2: Yeah, gonna say the Mile City one strikes me as one,
- 22:18Speaker 2: it would not have a pool marking a.
- 22:20Speaker 1: Lot of Question seven. The topic is fishing. This next
- 22:25Speaker 1: great question comes to us via Charlie McDonald. If you
- 22:28Speaker 1: have a question you think is right for Meat Eater Trivia,
- 22:30Speaker 1: you can send it to trivia at the medeater dot com.
- 22:34Speaker 1: This is a visual question. Phil is going to play
- 22:37Speaker 1: you fifteen seconds of a commercial from nineteen ninety four.
- 22:42Speaker 1: You need to tell me what as scene on TV lure.
- 22:45Speaker 1: This was promoting Take It Away, Phil.
- 22:48Speaker 6: It's movement and colors grab the fish's attention. It's sound
- 22:52Speaker 6: and sent triggered the strike. There's actually four lures and
- 22:55Speaker 6: one it's a buzz bait, it's a spinner bait, it's
- 22:58Speaker 6: a deep water jig. Plus it's a weedless plastic worm,
- 23:01Speaker 6: so you can fish it in any kind of cover.
- 23:05Speaker 1: That is your hint.
- 23:06Speaker 2: I've never seen it before.
- 23:08Speaker 1: What was your hint that that commercial was your hint?
- 23:11Speaker 1: You need to tell me what ass scene non TV
- 23:14Speaker 1: lure that was promoting. The commercial was from nineteen ninety four, Phil,
- 23:20Speaker 1: Can you play it one more time?
- 23:22Speaker 6: Oh?
- 23:22Speaker 5: Yeah, please help.
- 23:24Speaker 1: You seem to be stumped.
- 23:27Speaker 2: That thing won't catch fish.
- 23:30Speaker 6: What did you have a year attached this thing nineteen
- 23:34Speaker 6: at its sound and said, friggered the strike. It's actually
- 23:38Speaker 6: four this one. It's a buzz bait. It's a spinner bait.
- 23:40Speaker 6: It's a deep water jake. It's a weedless plastic worm.
- 23:44Speaker 6: So you can fish it in any kind of cover.
- 23:47Speaker 1: Now, if you want to see what the room is seeing,
- 23:48Speaker 1: you can watch this episode on YouTube. Phil was not
- 23:52Speaker 1: bleeping out a bad word there. That was the name
- 23:55Speaker 1: of the lure that the commercial mention, I.
- 23:57Speaker 2: Want to call that number.
- 23:59Speaker 1: I was should try that.
- 24:01Speaker 5: I was so hoping it was the banjo vir mino.
- 24:03Speaker 2: Yeah, that's first thing in my head was like, here
- 24:06Speaker 2: comes a banjo.
- 24:09Speaker 1: Again. The commercial was from nineteen ninety four. You need
- 24:12Speaker 1: to tell me what lure that was promoting. The banjo
- 24:15Speaker 1: meno has been an answer on a previous game, so
- 24:18Speaker 1: I don't think it's going.
- 24:19Speaker 6: To be that.
- 24:21Speaker 1: Never know, did that look familiar to anybody.
- 24:26Speaker 6: In this room?
- 24:27Speaker 1: No, never seen it in my life, never seen it
- 24:30Speaker 1: in his life. This may break two perfect games up
- 24:35Speaker 1: between Randall and Brody Colin. I think is also still
- 24:39Speaker 1: on their tails. Maybe he could join them here if
- 24:42Speaker 1: they get it wrong and he gets it right.
- 24:44Speaker 2: I was born in ninety four, so I have no
- 24:46Speaker 2: chance I'm going to get this one.
- 24:49Speaker 1: It is everybody who's going to come up with an answer,
- 24:51Speaker 1: have an answer now, Randall, tell me about your logic
- 24:55Speaker 1: for this answer. It's just a guess. You think you
- 24:57Speaker 1: know some lures from that decade.
- 24:59Speaker 7: Oh, I'm I'm making it if I'm describing what I'm
- 25:03Speaker 7: saying on the screen.
- 25:06Speaker 1: Brody, where's your answer coming from? No, it's like, yeah, okay,
- 25:12Speaker 1: everybody ready.
- 25:13Speaker 7: I was wondering if the phone number was like some
- 25:15Speaker 7: sort of code, I could just Da Vinci code myself
- 25:17Speaker 7: out of this mess.
- 25:20Speaker 1: Go ahead and reveal your answers. We have Set saying
- 25:24Speaker 1: the spinner tube. Tress is saying the rotating minnow. Chester,
- 25:28Speaker 1: you're saying the chopper worm. I love that chopper, but
- 25:33Speaker 1: that should be a lure. Colin saying the twistytail, Alyssa
- 25:37Speaker 1: saying the green machine. Randall's saying helicopter. Cordy saying drop
- 25:43Speaker 1: a prop. Jody's saying propeller plus great propeller plug. The
- 25:51Speaker 1: correct answer is there a correct answer in the room.
- 25:53Speaker 1: The correct answer is the helicopter lure.
- 26:00Speaker 4: It Oh that feels good now, I'll have you.
- 26:03Speaker 1: Know that doesn't look anything like a helicopter. So somewhere
- 26:06Speaker 1: in your brain, Randall must does know I was.
- 26:09Speaker 7: Either going to guess the four and one lure or
- 26:11Speaker 7: the helicopter because it's spinning.
- 26:13Speaker 5: It does love helicopters in the early Chopper.
- 26:17Speaker 1: Chopper from Okay, Well John as a helicopter. Although the
- 26:23Speaker 1: helicopter Lure is no longer in production, you can still
- 26:26Speaker 1: buy a four pack on eBay for fifteen dollars. In
- 26:30Speaker 1: case you need to be convinced. Here's that commercial in
- 26:33Speaker 1: its entirety. Take it away.
- 26:34Speaker 5: Let's hear him say, helicopter.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Oh what.
- 26:37Speaker 2: The spencer?
- 26:38Speaker 1: I'm sorry? So the link, the link is right there
- 26:41Speaker 1: in the dock. Is it too late for you to
- 26:43Speaker 1: click on it and play it?
- 26:44Speaker 6: Or no?
- 26:44Speaker 1: No, no, I okay, We're going to give Phil a second.
- 26:47Speaker 1: Randall feels relieved he has separated himself from Brody. With
- 26:51Speaker 1: three questions left.
- 26:53Speaker 4: Oh my god, with a guess a lot of pressure,
- 26:55Speaker 4: Randall the helicopter.
- 26:57Speaker 6: Held onto the perfect game too, introducing Roland Martin's revolutionary
- 27:02Speaker 6: new helicopter Lure. Its movement and colors grab the fish's attention.
- 27:06Speaker 6: It's sound and sent trigger the strike. The helicopter lure
- 27:09Speaker 6: is actually four lures in one. It's a buzz bait,
- 27:11Speaker 6: it's a spinner bait, it's a deep water jig. Plus
- 27:14Speaker 6: it's a weedless plastic worm, so you can fish it
- 27:16Speaker 6: in any kind of cover. Call now and you'll receive
- 27:19Speaker 6: thirty patented helicopter lures with Doctor Juice's helicopter.
- 27:22Speaker 4: Cent Doctor Juice helicopters.
- 27:26Speaker 6: Being swivels and five hideaway weights. Plus will include the
- 27:29Speaker 6: helicopter lure, utility box and roland markings. How to cast
- 27:32Speaker 6: and catch with the HELICOPTERUS order your helicopter.
- 27:36Speaker 1: I don't know about inventing. Put his name on?
- 27:38Speaker 5: What was the doctor?
- 27:40Speaker 1: The doctor Doctor Juice impregnates the helicopter when we come
- 27:48Speaker 1: a fishing lure, please do something like this.
- 27:55Speaker 4: That's not one of rolling Martins.
- 27:59Speaker 2: No, he did better things than that.
- 28:01Speaker 1: And well, whatever that lure is chester, what did you
- 28:03Speaker 1: what was your name that you had the chopper? That's great.
- 28:07Speaker 1: I can't believe that doesn't already exist. Question eight the
- 28:11Speaker 1: topic is cooking. Merriam Webster defines this South American appetizer
- 28:17Speaker 1: as quote, a dish made of raw fish marinated in
- 28:21Speaker 1: lime or lemon juice, often with oil, onions, peppers, and seasonings.
- 28:26Speaker 4: Come on, Spencer, you can do better than that, counts.
- 28:30Speaker 1: Brody needs a question that is going to trip up Randall.
- 28:34Speaker 5: This is like an offspeed pitch. You just threw some
- 28:37Speaker 5: some heat with that last one.
- 28:39Speaker 1: Uh huh, and now you're yeah agetting. The topic is cooking.
- 28:43Speaker 1: Merriam Webster defines this South American appetizer as quote a
- 28:47Speaker 1: dish made of raw fish marinated in lime or lemon juice,
- 28:52Speaker 1: often with oil, onions, peppers, and seasonings. Is everybody going
- 28:58Speaker 1: to get this one right? No? No, okay, no, these
- 29:02Speaker 1: cooking questions get me.
- 29:04Speaker 2: Certainly not gonna spell it right.
- 29:06Speaker 1: That's a hint.
- 29:07Speaker 3: What was the Shelby index three and a half.
- 29:11Speaker 1: Three and eight sixteens.
- 29:12Speaker 3: My goal is to beat her. Okay, it has never happened.
- 29:18Speaker 1: She's too smart. Is everybody ready? Everyone has an answer?
- 29:22Speaker 1: Is going to come up with an answer? Go ahead
- 29:24Speaker 1: and reveal your answers. We have set saying Savice, Tressa
- 29:29Speaker 1: saying Savice, Chester saying Savice, Colin without an answer, Alyssa, Randall,
- 29:35Speaker 1: Cory and Brody all saying Savice. They got it, and
- 29:39Speaker 1: everyone I think spelled it different. The correct answer was savice.
- 29:44Speaker 1: Savice was invented about two thousand years ago in Peru
- 29:48Speaker 1: and Ecuador. The first versions of the dish used fermented
- 29:52Speaker 1: juice from banana passion fruit. If you want to learn
- 29:55Speaker 1: how to make a modern American version, then go to
- 29:58Speaker 1: the medeater dot com and check out Dan el Pruit's
- 30:00Speaker 1: recipe for tex mex savice. Phil We have two questions left.
- 30:06Speaker 1: Where does the scoreboard stand?
- 30:09Speaker 8: We have to say goodbye to Tresa Seth, Cory Colin
- 30:15Speaker 8: Chester and Alyssa.
- 30:17Speaker 2: And hey, what do you know?
- 30:18Speaker 8: It's down to Brody and Randall. Brody has seven points
- 30:21Speaker 8: and Randall's in first place with eight.
- 30:25Speaker 1: Question nine, damn not Roland Martin. The topic is conservation,
- 30:29Speaker 1: doctor jus. This next right question comes to is via
- 30:33Speaker 1: Ryan Mahanna. If you have a question you think is
- 30:35Speaker 1: right for meat Eater trivia, you can send it to
- 30:37Speaker 1: trivia at the medeater dot com. Who is the only
- 30:41Speaker 1: person that has a national park named after them? Again,
- 30:48Speaker 1: the topic is conservation. Who is the only person that
- 30:51Speaker 1: has a national park named after them? Randal? Is this
- 30:56Speaker 1: going to keep the perfect game going?
- 31:00Speaker 5: It should. Okay, it should barring any surprises here, I
- 31:05Speaker 5: don't know.
- 31:07Speaker 1: The rest of the room looks pretty confident. If you
- 31:11Speaker 1: can get this one right, Randall and Brody can get
- 31:13Speaker 1: it wrong, you will have wrapped up the victory. At
- 31:15Speaker 1: that point, you will just be playing against yourself for
- 31:19Speaker 1: the perfect game, which would be the first perfect game
- 31:22Speaker 1: of twenty twenty three. Again, here's a question. Sure, who
- 31:27Speaker 1: is the only person that has a national park named
- 31:30Speaker 1: after them? Is everybody ready? Nope? Brody, how confident are
- 31:38Speaker 1: you in your ends?
- 31:39Speaker 5: Not?
- 31:39Speaker 4: Extremely? Not confident enough?
- 31:44Speaker 1: Cory, You're going to come up with one. Who is
- 31:47Speaker 1: the only person that has a national park named after them?
- 31:54Speaker 5: Chester?
- 31:55Speaker 1: Are you ready? No? I am, Seth. Go ahead and
- 32:01Speaker 1: reveal your answers. We have Seth saying Custer. Tressis saying Acadia,
- 32:06Speaker 1: Chester saying Daniel Boone, Colin saying Teddy Roosevelt, Alyssa saying
- 32:11Speaker 1: Teddy Roosevelt, Randall saying Teddy Roosevelt. Cordy's saying Brian Glacier,
- 32:17Speaker 1: Brody's saying Teddy Roosevelt. The correct answer is Teddy Roosevelt.
- 32:23Speaker 1: The room did pretty well, That's what I say. I
- 32:26Speaker 1: erased it yeah. The Theodore Roosevelt National Park is located
- 32:32Speaker 1: in western North Dakota. Teddy fell in love with the
- 32:35Speaker 1: area when he hunted bison there in eighteen eighty three.
- 32:38Speaker 1: A few months later, he bought a ranch near Medora
- 32:41Speaker 1: and moved there after the death of his wife and mother.
- 32:44Speaker 1: Part of the National Park encompasses Teddy's original cattle ranch
- 32:49Speaker 1: question ten. It is down to Randall and Brody. Brody
- 32:53Speaker 1: would need to get this right. Randall would need to
- 32:55Speaker 1: get it wrong to go to a tiebreaker, or Randall
- 32:58Speaker 1: could get it right, giving him perfect game.
- 33:01Speaker 5: I have to say one of those outcomes would just
- 33:04Speaker 5: ruin my day. That would make it.
- 33:06Speaker 1: The topic is hunting. Name four of the seven states
- 33:12Speaker 1: that have a desert big horn sheep entry in the
- 33:15Speaker 1: Boone and Crockett record Book. Name four of the seven
- 33:23Speaker 1: states that have a desert big horn sheep entry in
- 33:27Speaker 1: the Boone and Crockett record Book. A lot of thinking
- 33:34Speaker 1: going on, Randal. How many answers do you have down right? Now?
- 33:38Speaker 5: Got three?
- 33:39Speaker 1: And you feel good about those three? I do? Okay,
- 33:44Speaker 1: see what you can come up with for a fourth? Again,
- 33:47Speaker 1: you need to name four of the seven states that
- 33:51Speaker 1: have a Desert Big horn Sheep entry in the Boone
- 33:54Speaker 1: and crocket Record Book. If Randal were to pitch the
- 33:59Speaker 1: perfect game getting all ten questions right, that would double
- 34:03Speaker 1: our donation to one thousand dollars instead of five hundred dollars.
- 34:09Speaker 5: So there's seven states.
- 34:10Speaker 1: Seven states that have an entry in the Boone and
- 34:13Speaker 1: Crockett Record Book for the Desert Big Horned Sheep. Oh,
- 34:17Speaker 1: you need to name four of them.
- 34:19Speaker 5: I feel better.
- 34:20Speaker 1: Then it's everybody ready. Everyone has four answers down, Go
- 34:27Speaker 1: ahead and reveal your answers. We have Sat saying Nevada, Texas,
- 34:31Speaker 1: New Mexico, Arizona, Tresa saying Wyoming, Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Chester
- 34:38Speaker 1: saying California, New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona, Colin saying Arizona, New Mexico, California,
- 34:46Speaker 1: Nevada saying Utah, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, Randall saying Nevada, Arizona, California, Oregon,
- 34:55Speaker 1: Corey saying Arizona, New Mexico, California, Nevada, Brody's saying Arizona, Colorado,
- 35:02Speaker 1: New Mexico, Nevada. These seven states are Arizona, Nevada, California,
- 35:10Speaker 1: New Mexico, Texas, Utah, and Colorado random got it wrong?
- 35:18Speaker 2: Brody, did you.
- 35:19Speaker 1: Get it right? We are going to overtime these two
- 35:24Speaker 1: players having nine correct answers. Now, Randa Walke is through.
- 35:28Speaker 1: What happened there on that answer?
- 35:31Speaker 4: Oregon happened?
- 35:33Speaker 7: I yeah, I overthought it. I know Oregon's got deserts.
- 35:38Speaker 7: They've got They're right across the border from Nevada.
- 35:42Speaker 1: They thought you got it wrapped up.
- 35:44Speaker 4: I did too.
- 35:44Speaker 5: I'm I can feel my face changing colors. I know
- 35:52Speaker 5: the YouTube audience will say something. I just feel I
- 35:59Speaker 5: don't want to be anymore. I just don't want to
- 36:02Speaker 5: be a chance.
- 36:04Speaker 1: I saw Oregon and I tried to hold my poker face.
- 36:07Speaker 1: I didn't know if the wait yeah.
- 36:10Speaker 4: So, as Steve would say, Randall, well, I can't say yet.
- 36:13Speaker 1: Arizona leads the country with four hundred and twenty desert
- 36:16Speaker 1: big Horn Sheep entries in the Boone and Crockett record book.
- 36:20Speaker 1: That's followed by Nevada with three point fifty two, California
- 36:24Speaker 1: with seventy four, New Mexico with fifty one, Texas with
- 36:28Speaker 1: forty seven, Utah with twenty four, and Colorado with eight.
- 36:32Speaker 1: The world record Desert bighorn was killed by an unknown
- 36:36Speaker 1: Native American in nineteen forty on Mexico's Baja Peninsula. The
- 36:40Speaker 1: hunter was only there for meat and left the skull
- 36:43Speaker 1: laying at the kill site, which the rancher owner, which
- 36:46Speaker 1: the ranch owner later picked up and had scored. We're
- 36:50Speaker 1: going to overtime play the drop Phil type break.
- 36:58Speaker 8: I think just cut it at if you at first
- 37:00Speaker 8: your last and then like going to other stuff.
- 37:02Speaker 1: It's funny.
- 37:03Speaker 5: I never liked it a Phil goff Man.
- 37:07Speaker 1: Oh, the drama. I was cheering for the perfect game there, Randall.
- 37:10Speaker 1: I tried to remain and I appreciate that I wanted
- 37:13Speaker 1: it to happen.
- 37:14Speaker 4: It's hard not to cheer for one thousand bucks versus
- 37:16Speaker 4: five hundred.
- 37:17Speaker 1: You know, here is the tie breaking topic. It is conservation.
- 37:23Speaker 4: What day?
- 37:24Speaker 1: Excuse me? What was the date for National Arbor Day
- 37:28Speaker 1: in twenty twenty three. This is a numerical question, so
- 37:33Speaker 1: whoever is the closest between Brody and Randall will be
- 37:37Speaker 1: declared the winner. The rest of the players will also
- 37:41Speaker 1: write down an answer, though, because if they can hit
- 37:43Speaker 1: it right on the nose, we will add an extra
- 37:45Speaker 1: one hundred dollars donation to the end of the game.
- 37:49Speaker 1: So here's the question again, what was the date for
- 37:53Speaker 1: National Arbor Day in twenty twenty three? What do you got?
- 37:58Speaker 1: Randall seem to have a question.
- 38:00Speaker 5: This is in the past tense, so it's Arbor Day
- 38:02Speaker 5: has already happened.
- 38:03Speaker 1: I'm not giving you any hints about this again. The
- 38:06Speaker 1: topic is conservation looking for the date of National Arbor
- 38:12Speaker 1: Day in twenty twenty three. Does anybody know the top
- 38:17Speaker 1: of their head when National Arbor Day is? No, it's
- 38:23Speaker 1: don't doubt. Don't want to help out our competitors, but
- 38:26Speaker 1: you think you kind of know Chester. I mean, it's
- 38:29Speaker 1: a guess, but maybe.
- 38:32Speaker 2: Yes, same Herror, it's a guess. But maybe.
- 38:37Speaker 1: What are we working on here? Phil?
- 38:38Speaker 4: Oh?
- 38:39Speaker 3: Just you know?
- 38:40Speaker 2: Brody did bump the camera? H I'd say I put
- 38:43Speaker 2: it in a very unfair position.
- 38:45Speaker 1: Does everybody have an answer for the date of National
- 38:50Speaker 1: Arbor Day in twenty twenty three? Brody? Are you ready?
- 38:57Speaker 2: He's got the bored in front of his face.
- 39:00Speaker 1: Brody, are you ready?
- 39:02Speaker 4: I don't know, is Randall ready?
- 39:05Speaker 1: Randall? Are you ready?
- 39:07Speaker 2: Ohpense is killing?
- 39:09Speaker 1: Brody would like to know.
- 39:10Speaker 5: I don't care, Randall?
- 39:16Speaker 1: Are you ready, I'm whatever, Brody, are you ready?
- 39:23Speaker 2: Sure it is?
- 39:24Speaker 1: Everybody ready, go ahead and reveal your answers. We have
- 39:28Speaker 1: saying May twenty seven, Tresa is saying January three, Chester
- 39:34Speaker 1: saying June eighth, Colin saying May fifteen, Alyssa saying April twenty,
- 39:40Speaker 1: Corey saying June ten, and our two competitors left. We
- 39:44Speaker 1: have Randall saying September one, Brody saying May one. The
- 39:50Speaker 1: correct answer is April twenty eight, making Brody a winner.
- 39:58Speaker 1: Well done, Brodie, within just a couple of days of
- 40:01Speaker 1: the correct answer. Now, Randall, have you ever heard of
- 40:05Speaker 1: National Arbor Day?
- 40:08Speaker 5: Don't be don't be patronizing.
- 40:11Speaker 1: Farmer Day is always held on the last Friday of April.
- 40:16Speaker 1: The tree planting holiday has been around since eighteen seventy four. Brody,
- 40:21Speaker 1: you knew it was in that neighborhood. How did you

- 40:30Speaker 1: over for you about five minutes, and here we.
- 40:33Speaker 4: Ever give up. You know what, though, like I take
- 40:37Speaker 4: great a great amount of satisfaction beating Steve, I feel bad,
- 40:42Speaker 4: oh really, because Randall was just so.
- 40:45Speaker 1: Happy it was one state away. It all came crumbling down.
- 40:50Speaker 5: I just ruined everything everything I touched.
- 40:55Speaker 1: Brody, what happens next is you get to choose where
- 40:58Speaker 1: the five hundred dollars donate from meat Eater goes. What's
- 41:02Speaker 1: it going to be?
- 41:03Speaker 4: I'm gonna do? And if I get this backwards, I apologize.
- 41:07Speaker 4: It's the Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation, or it's the
- 41:13Speaker 4: Recreational Fishing and Boating Foundation.
- 41:15Speaker 1: What do we like about that?
- 41:16Speaker 4: But they're like tied in with like take me Fishing
- 41:18Speaker 4: dot org, so they like do education on boating and
- 41:21Speaker 4: fishing and stuff like that. I've been doing a lot
- 41:25Speaker 4: of fishing with my kids, so yeah, yeah.
- 41:28Speaker 1: Brody was just declaring that he's not going to hunt
- 41:31Speaker 1: much in September because it's still fishing seasons at the
- 41:34Speaker 1: Henderson Home.
- 41:35Speaker 4: I like the boat education part of that exactly.
- 41:42Speaker 5: People need some education.
- 41:44Speaker 1: I've noticed some posture change over here between Brody sitting
- 41:47Speaker 1: a little more erect and Randall.
- 41:51Speaker 4: In the eye. I can't slouch and look you in
- 41:54Speaker 4: the eye.
- 41:54Speaker 1: At the same time, Randall.
- 41:55Speaker 2: Randall's boat started crying.
- 41:58Speaker 6: I'm not sad.
- 41:59Speaker 5: I just I'm I'm so angry at myself.
- 42:04Speaker 4: What what like?

- 42:33Speaker 4: I'm serious though, I was like desert all right, these states?
- 42:38Speaker 7: You know what happens whenever I guess. My wife always
- 42:41Speaker 7: knows when I play trivia and she sends me a text,
- 42:43Speaker 7: she says, good look at trivia. And then I get
- 42:46Speaker 7: home and she says, how is your day? And if
- 42:48Speaker 7: I don't say I won trivia, she knows that I
- 42:51Speaker 7: didn't win trivia.
- 42:53Speaker 4: It's all half.
- 42:54Speaker 5: I'm a desperate man.
- 42:56Speaker 2: When I when I tell Kelsey that I'm doing trivia,
- 42:58Speaker 2: she said, don't come home unless you win.
- 43:03Speaker 1: Come home.
- 43:03Speaker 2: I go home anyway, but I would spend a lot
- 43:06Speaker 2: of time not at my home if that was.
- 43:08Speaker 5: Yeah, it's like a totally different mood in our house.
- 43:11Speaker 7: The dogs you know, the dogs have like a sixth
- 43:14Speaker 7: sense about what you're feeling, and the like the dogs
- 43:17Speaker 7: avoid me.
- 43:18Speaker 5: I just kind of go home and I sit in
- 43:19Speaker 5: my chair and I stare at the wall. Just make
- 43:21Speaker 5: everyone now, hey, no, no, I'm unable to move on.
- 43:26Speaker 5: Move on. Yeah, this is what I do.
- 43:28Speaker 1: And we don't play trivia again for like ten days, Randalls,
- 43:30Speaker 1: I know, I think I was.
- 43:32Speaker 7: So excited for today because we're supposed to play two
- 43:35Speaker 7: and that gives you two swings at the ball, and
- 43:38Speaker 7: it's like, if I can win one, then I go
- 43:40Speaker 7: home and I say I won trivia, even though it's
- 43:42Speaker 7: I lost one as well.
- 43:43Speaker 1: But huh, good game to losing to Brodie.
- 43:48Speaker 5: I'm losing the finger, the feelings and my fingers and toes.
