- 1:02Speaker 4: trying to put the helmet on that didn't fit, that's
- 1:03Speaker 4: up on our Instagram at John Jay and Rich on Instagram.
- 1:06Speaker 5: It was really nice to have that visual because I
- 1:08Speaker 5: hadn't seen that video yet and we were talking about it,
- 1:11Speaker 5: and then when I got to see a video, I
- 1:13Speaker 5: was like, that is hilarious.
- 1:14Speaker 1: It's very funny. It's very funny. So you can see
- 1:17Speaker 1: that on Instagram at John Jay and Rich.
- 1:18Speaker 4: By the way, speaking of Rich, Rich is doing the
- 1:20Speaker 4: show from New York because his daughter graduates today, right, Rich,
- 1:24Speaker 4: is it today or tonight?
- 1:25Speaker 1: It is today.
- 1:26Speaker 3: It's this afternoon and there is a heat wave moving
- 1:30Speaker 3: through New York City. So at the time of graduation,
- 1:33Speaker 3: it's supposed to be super muggy in ninety six degrees
- 1:37Speaker 3: in New York City.
- 1:38Speaker 5: Wow, nothing that you're new too, though there used to
- 1:41Speaker 5: being in the heat.
- 1:42Speaker 3: Yeah, heat's good, but I think sort of the humidity
- 1:44Speaker 3: when you came.
- 1:45Speaker 5: Yeah, that's what makes it gross.
- 1:46Speaker 1: It's like, you know, you can hand people a slice
- 1:48Speaker 1: of air. It's so thick.
- 1:50Speaker 3: Yesterday I took them to a secret restaurant they're supposed
- 1:53Speaker 3: to be like I looked up the best burgers in town,
- 1:56Speaker 3: and one of them doesn't have a name. It's the
- 1:58Speaker 3: restaurant doesn't have a name. It's in some fancy hotel
- 2:02Speaker 3: and you walk through the hotel lobby and there's these
- 2:05Speaker 3: red curtains and you pull aside the red curtain to
- 2:09Speaker 3: walk through, and it's like this total vibe, like graffiti
- 2:14Speaker 3: on the wall. Burger Place. The fries were amazing, by
- 2:18Speaker 3: the way, and the burger was great. And I felt
- 2:20Speaker 3: cool because I knew something my daughter didn't know about
- 2:22Speaker 3: New York. She kind of showed me around and I'm like, okay,
- 2:24Speaker 3: watch this, let's go through the red curtain.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Now you're in a whole new world. I've been there before.
- 2:29Speaker 1: You have been there.
- 2:29Speaker 4: You and I, yeah, we were okay with the way
- 2:31Speaker 4: you're describing it is exactly like when you and I
- 2:33Speaker 4: went in there.
- 2:34Speaker 1: It's the same place.
- 2:35Speaker 4: Oh well they're still there, the.
- 2:38Speaker 1: No name, like you gotta go.
- 2:40Speaker 3: It's like in people Watch, you like as you go
- 2:42Speaker 3: through the curtains, like you're not supposed to go back there,
- 2:44Speaker 3: that's closed off. But when you go back there, it's
- 2:46Speaker 3: like a whole new universe.
- 2:47Speaker 1: When do you come home?
- 2:49Speaker 3: I come home tomorrow morning, and are you driving or flying?
- 2:53Speaker 3: I am flying? All right, well I'm not flying. A
- 2:55Speaker 3: pilot's fly.
- 2:55Speaker 4: Okay, so check this out. I saw this thing as
- 2:57Speaker 4: it's trending online right now. It's six things you should
- 3:00Speaker 4: never do on a plane. So A, rich I'm gonna
- 3:03Speaker 4: give you these tips so that A you don't do
- 3:04Speaker 4: them or B let us know if you do see
- 3:06Speaker 4: someone doing it. And the number one thing on this
- 3:08Speaker 4: it says not to do on this plane. I have
- 3:10Speaker 4: no problem with it. But let me just go over
- 3:11Speaker 4: number six. Do not try sleeping aids for the first
- 3:14Speaker 4: time on a flight. You might want to experiment with
- 3:17Speaker 4: those for the first time at home. That's a good one, right,
- 3:19Speaker 4: because that's what I always think you hear about, like
- 3:21Speaker 4: these celebrities that get kicked off planes, that's because I
- 3:23Speaker 4: think they took an ambient and then they're like, don't
- 3:27Speaker 4: eat gassy foods or drink soda before flying.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Cabin pressure can make that experience pretty.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Painful smelly for everyone around you.
- 3:34Speaker 3: Mm hmm.
- 3:35Speaker 4: Dressing without layers. This is important. This is a new
- 3:38Speaker 4: thing for me because one minute you're freezing an extra sweating.
- 3:41Speaker 4: So I go, like when I flew to Hawaii, I
- 3:42Speaker 4: put a hoodie on, and you don't wear it when
- 3:44Speaker 4: you're in Hawaii, but I put it back on when
- 3:45Speaker 4: I fly back on a plane. Don't forget the hydrate.
- 3:48Speaker 4: Plane cabins are super dry, so water is your best friend.
- 3:53Speaker 4: Rich drinking too much alcohol it hits harder in the
- 3:56Speaker 4: air and for longer flights, it can make jet lag
- 3:58Speaker 4: way worse.
- 3:59Speaker 3: I've ever had it like a drinking poo on a plane.
- 4:03Speaker 1: I don't think I ever have.
- 4:04Speaker 5: The best place to drink is on an airplane one hundred.
- 4:07Speaker 1: Person, you get more drunk.
- 4:09Speaker 5: Yeah, literally, it's amazing, like two shots and tatoes and
- 4:13Speaker 5: your cruising.
- 4:14Speaker 3: So for the budget drinker, you should buy a plane
- 4:16Speaker 3: ticket exactly.
- 4:18Speaker 4: Number one thing it says not to do an airplane
- 4:20Speaker 4: is to walk around barefoot and.
- 4:23Speaker 3: Don't wear don't wear sandals on a plane too. If
- 4:25Speaker 3: your guy, what are you doing? I'm with that to
- 4:27Speaker 3: see that.
- 4:27Speaker 5: I judge people low key. I'm like, you're walking through
- 4:30Speaker 5: security right now with your barefoot no socks.
- 4:33Speaker 2: Well, first of all, sandals to the airport before, knowing
- 4:37Speaker 2: full well that I would be freezing on the flight.
- 4:39Speaker 2: So I bring a pair of socks like cozy socks
- 4:41Speaker 2: to put on the crew.
- 4:45Speaker 5: The security with no shoes on sandals.
- 4:48Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, I've done barefoot. I mean, I'm a
- 4:52Speaker 2: fine I didn't get anything from that.
- 4:57Speaker 4: It says don't walk around barefoot. Those cabin floors are dirt,
- 5:00Speaker 4: you're think. I don't think there's anything wrong with taking
- 5:01Speaker 4: off your shoes if you walk around.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Berfect if you have really stinky feet, though that maybe want.
- 5:05Speaker 1: To avoid that, all right.
- 5:07Speaker 4: So there's that, Kyle. The latest with you and being
- 5:12Speaker 4: a home mom. Are you there a different in a
- 5:13Speaker 4: home mom and a room mom.
- 5:14Speaker 2: Oh yeah, probably a stay at home mom.
- 5:17Speaker 1: I am not a room mom.
- 5:18Speaker 2: I am which means I help out at school with
- 5:21Speaker 2: it whatever the teacher needs, for planning parties, for doing
- 5:24Speaker 2: special things for birthdays. And I love doing that, Like
- 5:28Speaker 2: it's so fun for me to see not only like
- 5:31Speaker 2: I like to see like my kids in their natural
- 5:33Speaker 2: habitat at school, but also like you guys know me,
- 5:36Speaker 2: I love planning parties and I love doing special things
- 5:38Speaker 2: for the teachers and stuff like that. But I had
- 5:39Speaker 2: a moment as a room mom where I thought, oh
- 5:41Speaker 2: my gosh, I am never going to get asked to
- 5:44Speaker 2: be a room mom again. Like I had a pit
- 5:45Speaker 2: in my stomach. It's like one of the biggest room
- 5:49Speaker 2: mom fails you can ever have. So we're in the
- 5:52Speaker 2: midst of Macember. So me and my teammate room mom,
- 5:56Speaker 2: there's two of us, are planning all the things a
- 5:58Speaker 2: teacher and of the year gifts and end of the
- 6:00Speaker 2: year parties and whatnot. And I was invited to come
- 6:03Speaker 2: in last week to celebrate the May June birthdays because
- 6:07Speaker 2: Easton has a May birthday and he's the only one
- 6:09Speaker 2: in the class. So you bring treats and you do
- 6:11Speaker 2: a celebration for the kids. And I was like, oh
- 6:14Speaker 2: my gosh, you know what. The teacher's birthdays in June.
- 6:17Speaker 2: And we were planning on doing like an end of
- 6:19Speaker 2: the year gift and a birthday gift in my head
- 6:22Speaker 2: and I was like, so, why don't I just bring
- 6:23Speaker 2: her birthday gift and celebrate with Easton and they can
- 6:27Speaker 2: have like this celebration together.
- 6:28Speaker 1: It'll be great.
- 6:29Speaker 2: And the other room was like, yeah, that's a great idea.
- 6:31Speaker 2: And so I get this like gift basket together. It's
- 6:34Speaker 2: really cute so far, and Easthan's like, who's that for.
- 6:36Speaker 2: I'm like, it's for your teacher. I'm going to bring
- 6:38Speaker 2: it into her on Friday when we do your birthday celebration.
- 6:41Speaker 2: He goes her birthday already happened. I was like, no,
- 6:44Speaker 2: Dennis a June birthday, I mean, like last summer happened.
- 6:47Speaker 2: He goes, no, she's the same birthday as Grant. It's
- 6:50Speaker 2: February third. It already happened.
- 6:52Speaker 1: And I was like what.
- 6:54Speaker 2: And so I go to our paperwork to confirm she
- 6:57Speaker 2: indeed does not have a June birthday.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Her birthday is indeed February second.
- 7:01Speaker 2: I immediately feel so bad, like I missed the teacher's.
- 7:05Speaker 4: Birthday would have decorated an we do a celebration for
- 7:09Speaker 4: the teacher.
- 7:10Speaker 1: It's like our job. And I'm like, oh my gosh.
- 7:13Speaker 2: So I texted my fellow room mom and I'm like,
- 7:15Speaker 2: oh my gosh, I feel so bad. Easton just told
- 7:18Speaker 2: me her birthday already happened. We missed it. How did
- 7:21Speaker 2: we miss this?
- 7:22Speaker 5: And she's like forget.
- 7:23Speaker 1: She's like, oh my gosh, how did we miss this?
- 7:24Speaker 2: We wouldn't miss this is like we're buttoned up.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Right, and I'm like I thought we were, but this
- 7:29Speaker 1: is terrible.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Anyways, five minutes later, she texts me back a screenshot
- 7:33Speaker 2: of our text in February planning her birthday party, like
- 7:38Speaker 2: we did it.
- 7:38Speaker 1: I put together the birthday give and I have no memory.
- 7:41Speaker 5: Of doing it.
- 7:42Speaker 1: I so you did have a party. We did it for.
- 7:51Speaker 3: It's getting.
- 7:54Speaker 2: I have alzeimer. I'm not even getting it's so bad.
- 7:57Speaker 1: I have no idea. I have no idea.
- 8:01Speaker 4: So you celebrated the teacher's birthday in February, gave her
- 8:04Speaker 4: a present party gift.
- 8:07Speaker 3: It was a door you.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Don't even remember.
- 8:10Speaker 5: That is hilarious, even I was the one that brought
- 8:13Speaker 5: it in.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Yeah, so I am officially losing my mind.
- 8:17Speaker 2: I don't know if it's like there's just so many
- 8:19Speaker 2: things to keep track.
- 8:20Speaker 5: Of your brain isn't overload, or it's.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Like do I need to go see something? Jeez, you
- 8:25Speaker 1: didn think you need a one? Yeah, that wasn't that
- 8:28Speaker 1: long ago. I get sometimes you forget something happened in here. Guys.
- 8:31Speaker 1: It was February. It's yeah, so I'm a little worried
- 8:35Speaker 1: about myself.
- 8:36Speaker 2: But but the good news is we did not miss
- 8:39Speaker 2: her birthday.
- 8:41Speaker 1: So what did you do? The president?
- 8:43Speaker 5: We're going to use it.
- 8:44Speaker 1: It's like on top of the end of the year gift.
- 8:46Speaker 4: So just wait till February's almost February.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Very nice, all Right's Jane Rich
