- 6:24[SPEAKER_22]: With a couple of showers possible in a high of 52, with your IQ with your forecast, I'm meteorologist Joe Lundberg on the news and talk authority AM-1240WATN.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_14]: Well, the hotline with Jeff Graham is right here, and that is, that's me.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_14]: Hey, I'm on the air on a very rainy Wednesday, I believe, as temperatures are in the 40s.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_14]: I know you complain about it.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_14]: It's me and all that, but those things happen.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_14]: And we've got a guest here today.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_14]: We've got Councilman Doug Eyesborn.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_14]: How are you, sir?
- 7:12[SPEAKER_28]: Good, Mayor.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_14]: How are you doing?
- 7:13[SPEAKER_14]: Good.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_14]: Good to see you.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_14]: Good to see you out.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_14]: We'll need to speak, because so many of your colleagues are not willing to do that.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_14]: Well, he's been in office for the lower four months.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_14]: How's it going?
- 7:25[SPEAKER_28]: Good.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_28]: Good.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_28]: There is a kind of a learning curve there, but I think I'm catching on.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_14]: Is it all you believe, you know, dreamed of?
- 7:34[SPEAKER_28]: Yeah, I mean, I believe in public service and, you know, this is just an extension.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_28]: What I already do.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_14]: Okay.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_14]: Well, what about, um, what is it that's surprised you in terms of,
- 7:46[SPEAKER_28]: getting things done budget process and everything else anything else well it's definitely you know if we're just taking the budget process it's definitely very arduous time consuming but important and something that we you know that we're deliberate deliberating on right now as we say I know there are big decisions but
- 8:11[SPEAKER_14]: I look at the school budget, 112.2 million.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_14]: One person speaks at the public hearing.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_14]: No debate on it with the school board.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_14]: They just, oh, whatever you want, Larry.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_14]: County budget, 304, 100, whatever it is, million.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_14]: Never need to debate on that.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_14]: Last night at the county-ledge meeting, nobody spoke at the public session.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_14]: And the city council gets beat up on.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_14]: Is it disproportional?
- 8:35[SPEAKER_14]: I mean, what you're spending is far less than either of the aforementioned agencies.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_28]: Yeah, you're not wrong, but I think, you know, the policies for the city affects the residents a little bit more immediately than I think, you know, both a county and the school district do.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_28]: Even though, you know, there's a certain level of taxes being received by both those entities too, as well as the city, but you know, when it comes to trash service, you know,
- 9:09[SPEAKER_28]: quality of life things like that that directly affect the residents.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_28]: I mean, I think they're a little bit more passionate about that stuff because I agree.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_28]: I agree more immediately.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_14]: But the city budget.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_14]: And I've thought about this for years and maybe I should have changed something, but it seems to me.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_14]: You should say to the manager and the manager is supposed to be able to manage.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_14]: Um, this is what we're going to provide you for revenue, make it work, and you don't do that.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_14]: You let him propose something that was so you guys can be the bad guys if you have to cut anything and you know, you can't get rid of a public employee because this, you know, blast for me, but
- 9:55[SPEAKER_28]: Well, I think it's more of like a, it's more of a collaborative offer between all the departments.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_28]: They, they compose their own budgets, and they set them to the city manager.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_28]: I think we, I think council also, you know, directs the manager of what direction we want the budget to go in.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_28]: We're going to have financial crisis right now with the budget and we're trying to address crisis isn't.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_14]: I mean really you say you want a 3% increase the mayor says she wants a 5% increase according to the waters down daily times this morning.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_14]: I assume you would not vote in favor of overwriting the tax cap is it true.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_28]: I don't think we have a number that we've settled on yet you know.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_28]: I mean, I don't first, I want to be right around the tax cap if it's feasible, if not.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_14]: Well, it is feasible.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_14]: I mean, if you go through the budget, for instance, I pointed this out before you're not going to like this, but they budgeted $2,400 for office equipment for the fire.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_14]: If you said that number was $1500, is that,
- 11:08[SPEAKER_14]: blasphemy?
- 11:08[SPEAKER_14]: No, you don't know.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_14]: Those are all, in many cases, these are just numbers.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_14]: So numbers can be rearranged, revenue projections, expenses.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_14]: Now, you know, there are certain hard parameters on it.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_14]: I understand that.
- 11:22[SPEAKER_14]: But you could walk in there now and say the tax increases, 6%, there's the budget and make it work in the next year.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_14]: Whether
- 11:36[SPEAKER_28]: not buy a ten thousand dollar door for himself or whatever he has to do well i think we are already are doing a level of that right
- 11:47[SPEAKER_28]: We've already indicated that we want their cuts are going to be necessary, you know, we may have to scale back some services.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_28]: So right now we're in the deliberative process of figuring out what we're scaling back, what we're cutting, what we're keeping and everything else.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_14]: Oh.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_28]: I mean, that's part of this.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_14]: There's the mayor want to get rid of the closed-down, the flint pool for the years of the deal.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_28]: I don't think any of us have made a...
- 12:14[SPEAKER_28]: a definitive decision on what we're going to do yet at all.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_28]: I mean, it's been proposed, but that's why we're going to be deliberating on it tonight and next week.
- 12:22[SPEAKER_28]: And we also have three scheduled office hour budget sessions at the library.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_28]: One's going on right now.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_28]: Who's it then?
- 12:33[SPEAKER_28]: That is Mayor Pierce and Councilman Garibrand doing that one.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_14]: And then that's kind of like a circumvention of open meetings.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_28]: I don't know if it's necessarily that, but I think it allows the public to come and speak with members of council that may not otherwise speak at a formal meeting.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_28]: It's much more informal for them to get their thoughts out to council members instead of being timed.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_14]: There's a news media allowed to cover them.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_28]: I mean, they haven't been restricted not to.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_28]: I mean, if they know about it, I think the mayor has sent out multiple
- 13:12[SPEAKER_28]: releases indicating that, you know, there's a schedule.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_28]: So if they want to, with the media want to stop by, I believe they'd be more than welcome to.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_14]: Okay, and well, I just wanted because the council acts as a body of five.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_14]: And that's why you have public hearings so we can all hear the testimony.
- 13:31[SPEAKER_14]: And, um,
- 13:32[SPEAKER_28]: Sorbit and go back and forth, but Barbie at for me to this is more or less a listening session from the public then, you know, a deliberation between two council members in the public.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_14]: Well, you can get a listening from just listen to the hotline every day.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_14]: Alright, let's take a break, Councilman, wherever you're right back.

- 17:15[SPEAKER_14]: A lot of people won't.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_14]: I give him credit there.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_14]: The other night I was listening something came up about Robert's rules of orders.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_14]: This is on the resolution.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_14]: It was on the the tax stamp.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_14]: And whether or not you can take it off the table and then without debate, put it back on the table.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_14]: And your city attorney, the new guy, I don't even know who
- 17:37[SPEAKER_14]: He said, well, I don't have a copy of Roberts rules, wouldn't he?
- 17:40[SPEAKER_14]: Would you suggest that maybe a municipal attorney carry a copy of Roberts rules?
- 17:48[SPEAKER_28]: I wouldn't, it would be up to him if he wanted to bring it for, like, reference spot.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_14]: Maybe set it on the table, form and leave it there, and so we can have it.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_28]: I mean, I think he, I think, you know, between him and our, our cleric, they're well versed in Robert's rules, so, I mean, they're good, you know, reference points, but yeah, I mean, that's,
- 18:13[SPEAKER_28]: I don't know how I'll see what I'm gonna answer that.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_28]: I mean I don't think I think he's doing a good job Okay, what's his name again?
- 18:20[SPEAKER_28]: I think it's I'm gonna butcher his last name, but I think it's Joe for shuddy You know I saw my TV looks like Zorhan.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_14]: I'm down me.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_14]: I don't know anybody with a beard.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_14]: I said I think We got a lot of things to hear the talk about
- 18:37[SPEAKER_14]: I see the school district wants to spend a hundred and thirty two thousand dollars each and electronic science in front of all the schools.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_14]: You're not on the school board, but what do you think of that stuff?
- 18:48[SPEAKER_28]: Um, I'd like to know what the reason would be for other than maybe, I don't know, is it a safety issue that they want to put all these signs up?
- 18:55[SPEAKER_14]: I don't know.
- 18:57[SPEAKER_14]: Fire department has one.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_28]: Oh, are you talking about like to advertise things?
- 19:01[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_28]: Oh.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_28]: I thought they had one already in front of there.
- 19:06[SPEAKER_14]: I think it's made $75 for a sign permit when they do it.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_28]: I got it.
- 19:13[SPEAKER_14]: Let's see.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_14]: We've got trash service statements been made, not for me.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_14]: Count some and show them and set it, and others, that your DPW superintendent, Mr. McQ, is it?
- 19:28[SPEAKER_14]: that he doesn't want trash service and he's doing everything he can to make it on a attractive and the public's responding now of a sudden something three years ago they said well it's kind of making a little money holding its own now the whenever they want to get rid of something they say well this is losing money so what's wrong with the trash service well i'm not going to get in the debate about mr. accused and ten one way or the other i i i i don't know i can i can't verify any
- 19:57[SPEAKER_28]: But I do know that since we've switched over to the policy, and I've been publicly very vocal about this, that the current policy isn't working.
- 20:07[SPEAKER_28]: We're denying folks that have paid for the service after they've gotten stickers, and they've paid for the service, they're getting denied and their bags just continue to sit there.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_28]: So it makes me concerned that we're contributing to the issue that we were trying to remedy
- 20:22[SPEAKER_14]: to begin with, which is... Well, isn't it frustrating, you know, you're getting broke.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_14]: You're just an average guy living on Richard's drive, and you look at their say, this just doesn't make sense.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_14]: But it keeps going on, and no matter what you say, at a council meeting order, the city manager privately, it continues.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_14]: If there's something wrong,
- 20:43[SPEAKER_14]: Well, so I was there too, and yet it fixed, isn't that the thing to do?
- 20:47[SPEAKER_28]: Yeah, and I think tonight, you know, that'll be a topic of conversation that will be addressing.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_28]: And I'm hoping we'd get to some sort of resolution or build some sort of consensus on what direction we're going to take the trash program.
- 21:03[SPEAKER_28]: Personally, I want to keep it.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_28]: I think it works.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_28]: I think many people benefit from it.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_14]: How about going back to, they just pick up the trash every week like they used to.
- 21:14[SPEAKER_28]: Services you're getting from the city well I mean that could that could be a possibility as well and something that we can look into for sure but you know you would get immediate low back from the third floor I mean I don't know whether we'll get pushback or not but it's it's something that I think we have to have a conversation about because as I said I don't think that the current policy is working very well right now and I want to modify it because
- 21:44[SPEAKER_28]: Yeah, and I don't think the current policy is helping it.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, I agree within it.
- 21:49[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_14]: It's not that hard to put a sticker on a bag in the bag in a bigger total, but you know, our people are buying one of those, well, I bought them, and you know, I got them, but maybe maybe you should provide them for some people, chronic complainers, I don't know.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_28]: This here's your total shot up I don't know about that but I mean it's again it's definitely discussions that we should have to make the service better.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_28]: I like the service many people like the service and I want to continue.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah okay well that's what we got to call here but after noon you're on the air.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_25]: Yeah I got a question where does this cost one think that the senior students are going to get the money for this 11% increase that they want and I hear that they all
- 22:37[SPEAKER_25]: pay increase along with a mayor, and the seagrances can't afford that because they're all living on fixed incomes, and now they want to get rid of the city trash here that they just up to sticker fees, and they went on about two trucks for $700,000, one of recycling any other trash truck, what's this stuff going to stop, a waste and tax
- 23:05[SPEAKER_25]: I hope when they get that 37 million dollars from a state taxpayer, which I'm one of them, they don't waste the money on fixing these well, water facility up in Thompson Park and over on Eastern Boards.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_25]: Thank you and have a good day.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_14]: Thank you.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_14]: Well, he has a lot on his mind today, you know, our Francis Street friend here.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_14]: What do you say about all that?
- 23:25[SPEAKER_28]: Um, well, he threw a lot out there, so I want to kind of address each one.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_28]: I mean, I don't see a pay increase for council at all.
- 23:33[SPEAKER_14]: I don't think that in the budget.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_14]: That is not the issue.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_14]: We all sit there and see, aren't we great because we work for nothing?
- 23:42[SPEAKER_14]: And look what you get, look what you get with a school board or they don't get paid.
- 23:45[SPEAKER_14]: Well, look what you get for your oversight, nothing.
- 23:48[SPEAKER_28]: Well,
- 23:50[SPEAKER_14]: I mean it's not about the money though either right it's it's about well I know from being mayor if you want to do the job properly really should be paid something I think you may as should be paid more I don't know about the council members but
- 24:02[SPEAKER_28]: the mayor should be paid more okay well like forty fifty thousand here i think i i just think i like her i got you and you do i i just think it's disingenuous to you know ask for any type of salar increases particularly by council were looking to you know you don't want to do with the county i can a lot of stuff in the budget
- 24:20[SPEAKER_14]: They get raised every year.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_14]: Did you know that the county does because they don't really publicize it.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_14]: The administrator just puts it in the budget.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_14]: They approve the budget and that's it.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_14]: They don't have to do a thing.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_28]: Well, I mean, that's not us.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_28]: You know, I know, I like to think that we're a little bit more conscientious when it comes to my residence.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_28]: Okay.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_28]: But that's not saying that they're not either, right?
- 24:42[SPEAKER_28]: I mean, well, they're not.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_14]: Did you see what they did here on Butterfield Avenue?
- 24:47[SPEAKER_14]: what I mean, Jake wanted, well, I know you were a poster, but Jake wanted to do that.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_28]: I wasn't opposed to I was agnostic to it, but I wasn't for it.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_14]: The county was going to direct this grant towards water, a project in water town, and the four city legislators represent parts of water town.
- 25:05[SPEAKER_14]: And I think it was straddle to headed it up.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_14]: All of a sudden arranged for the county administrator to move that grant to Clayton.
- 25:15[SPEAKER_14]: Now, whether or not you like Jake Johnson and I know some people don't, but that was an effort to try to direct a project towards improving the city infrastructure and the county legislatures.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_14]: I don't know.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_14]: They stuck it to the city.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_28]: I think that I think there's a lot of misconceptions about this out there that I don't and a lot of speculation.
- 25:40[SPEAKER_28]: So, there's nothing indicating to me that it was set and stone that the city was going to receive this grant.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_28]: We were being considered for it and the city had to present a proposal which they did.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_28]: Now it was up to the county to make that decision whether they thought that the project
- 26:06[SPEAKER_28]: and I'm sure they had other alternatives to choose from as well.
- 26:09[SPEAKER_28]: So, you know, I'm not, I'm not going to speculate on, you know, who, what their, what their thought process or what their decision was.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, your picture is on Newstronky right now.
- 26:24[SPEAKER_28]: Terrific.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_14]: Do you understand the importance of that?
- 26:27[SPEAKER_14]: I mean, in terms of recognition.
- 26:29[SPEAKER_14]: Well, it's good if you had a B here, okay, well,
- 26:36[SPEAKER_28]: the 11% property tax increase and how it affects seniors.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_28]: I mean, that's something that, I think, Council, I know I am, are really keeping consideration.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_28]: This is what I had mentioned during New Business at the last meeting, not particularly about how we'll fix senior citizens, but that we're stewards for the taxpayer.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_28]: So when Councilman Kimball had mentioned, our job is ultimately to maintain the city and
- 27:09[SPEAKER_28]: I don't disagree with that.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_28]: That's one of our jobs, but our main job is to be a steward for the taxpayer.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_28]: You know, and we have to strike a balance when it comes to, you know, these quality of life programs that we have, infrastructure, public safety, among other things.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_28]: And, you know, if we want to go a little bit further on,
- 27:31[SPEAKER_28]: one of those things we're going to defer on the other so I mean these are things that we have to keep consideration and just because the price of things have gone up over the years.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_28]: You know, doesn't mean that the city itself has to contribute to that burden, you know.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_28]: So I think it's, we have to do our due diligence to ensure that we can get that tax rate down the best we can so we're not contributing to, you know, all these additional expenses that folks are dealing with currently.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_14]: But people watch service, Dr. Campbell raises a point.
- 28:05[SPEAKER_14]: I mean at some point you can't just sit there and tell your kids or your family well we can't afford dinner tonight.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_14]: You got to make some decisions to make sure they have dinner.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_28]: No, I don't disagree with you.
- 28:16[SPEAKER_28]: I don't disagree with that at all.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_28]: But you go to McDonald's or you cook at home.
- 28:21[SPEAKER_17]: Right.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_28]: Right.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_28]: I mean these are these are the decisions that we have to make and we have to get feedback from the public of what they want.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_14]: No.
- 28:31[SPEAKER_14]: Well I have Marie calendar
- 28:35[SPEAKER_14]: the frozen fruit.
- 28:36[SPEAKER_14]: Oh, okay.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_14]: All right.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_14]: There you go.
- 28:41[SPEAKER_14]: At least we got some other things.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_14]: I've killed Country Club.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_14]: There was a story on Channel 7 yesterday that Mr. Johnson pulled out of the deal to buy it from Mr. Samayo.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_14]: I don't know what their little what happened there.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_14]: But I'm thinking and Mr. Johnson said it's because he doesn't see a way out of this deed restriction.
- 29:02[SPEAKER_14]: Now, you're talking about you've got a city manager proposing to close the water down golf club, which would mean 18 holes gone.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_14]: And then he got Ives over there with nine.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_14]: Why wouldn't you, I don't know what that deed, I don't know enough about deed restrictions to say anything, but why wouldn't you just release that?
- 29:20[SPEAKER_14]: Let them buy the property, maybe on the provider that he petitioned to annex all of it into the city.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_14]: I mean, it would seem to me there's a win-win to be made out of that.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_28]: Yeah, I mean, I don't know.
- 29:31[SPEAKER_28]: enough about the deed restriction at all either other than, you know, the taxpayers through the original deal had paid to close nine of those holes.
- 29:42[SPEAKER_28]: So, you know, from folks that I've talked to, they'd like to be made whole and I think, you know, if good luck.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_28]: Yeah, exactly.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_14]: It ain't happening.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_28]: I agree.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_28]: I don't know.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_28]: And I agree with Mr. Johnson that is going to be an uphill battle if they were to occur.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_28]: I mean, I seem like it's not worth this while at this point.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, but on the other hand, who thinks it's a good idea to pay somebody so they won't put nine holes.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_14]: I don't know.
- 30:11[SPEAKER_28]: I mean, that was what am I arguments when I was running, right?
- 30:14[SPEAKER_28]: Like, I think it was blatant government overreach.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_28]: We're restricted.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_28]: Like, the government is restricting a
- 30:22[SPEAKER_28]: I just, I, I don't want to rehash old things, but that was what I'm, that was one of my concerns too.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_14]: I mean, we re-hash things here a lot.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah.
- 30:35[SPEAKER_14]: I read something where you're putting out a request for proposals for somebody to buy naming rates at the arena.
- 30:44[SPEAKER_27]: Yeah.
- 30:45[SPEAKER_27]: Yep.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_14]: So, what do you want for it?
- 30:48[SPEAKER_14]: Um, that's what the request for proposal is what I mean if I say I give you 5,000 bucks but my name on it is that a deal, who should desperate for money?
- 30:57[SPEAKER_27]: Well, we'd have to look at the other proposals.
- 30:59[SPEAKER_14]: They aren't going to be any.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_14]: I mean, I think it's crazy first of all.
- 31:05[SPEAKER_14]: It's like a tin cup brigade or something, begging for money.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_14]: You know,
- 31:11[SPEAKER_28]: I mean, we're looking for, you know, the way is to generate revenue the best we can.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_14]: But you haven't sold all the T signs at the park yet.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_27]: Yeah?
- 31:21[SPEAKER_14]: There's 18 of them.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_27]: Yeah.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_28]: now you've got enough vendors for the city law firms engineering firms consultants force all of them to buy a t-site at least for a thousand bucks well i don't think we could force anybody to do anything but i mean if well if they're smart if we're able to convince them to do it then yeah i mean i think we should be a little bit more vigorous when it comes to uh... trying to count some insurance as the bought a t-site yeah that's good i'm glad
- 31:54[SPEAKER_14]: Well, we'll see.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_14]: We'll see what happens here, but what about naming the golf club?
- 32:01[SPEAKER_14]: Could you sell that for?
- 32:05[SPEAKER_27]: That's something to explore.
- 32:06[SPEAKER_14]: Mayor Butler was a big golfer, maybe?
- 32:08[SPEAKER_27]: Yeah.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_14]: Maybe Joe would like to get his name on it.
- 32:12[SPEAKER_27]: That's something to explore.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_14]: Okay, good enough.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_14]: All right, 75, 5, 12, 40s are phone number.
- 32:17[SPEAKER_14]: Well, we got a call.
- 32:18[SPEAKER_14]: Good afternoon here on here.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, Mr. Monaco, how are you?
- 32:26[SPEAKER_26]: Very good.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_26]: I was listening to Compton Redsburg and some of his commenties kind of spun out of something, you know, because they prefer me to grab each man and kind of go along with what he started out with.
- 32:41[SPEAKER_26]: I spoke at length on Monday night, it's public hearing.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_26]: And, you know, the system, I want you all to watch it, you just see all of it, you don't, you don't.
- 32:53[SPEAKER_26]: through 2023-24, or I've requested a foil, a foil bit, like 30-28 days will be up on this coming Monday.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_26]: I haven't got, I wanted the numbers for 23-24-45-56, or what should it got for now, anyways?
- 33:12[SPEAKER_26]: And I haven't got it yet, but the last year that the numbers were audited, the refuge system
- 33:25[SPEAKER_26]: And the last year that it showed a negative balance was 2016-17, and that following years, it raised the things up a quarter, I guess, or whatever, in a big initial pause, and it kept getting bigger all the time, the numbers that it was bringing in.
- 33:46[SPEAKER_26]: They definitely try, they won't agree to ever admit it, but they've tried to struggle
- 33:55[SPEAKER_26]: There's a workshop in the City Hall, back in August 24, in the council chambers, and there was four scenarios, and the second sentence was, I recommend we get out of the refugee business, and so I kind of jumped on the bandwagon, and roughly just not a rocket size.
- 34:19[SPEAKER_26]: There's a route people picked it up.
- 34:21[SPEAKER_26]: you know, they screw around with the stickers a couple of years and a half a goal.
- 34:26[SPEAKER_26]: You have it.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_26]: They don't want it in a can.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_14]: Right.
- 34:32[SPEAKER_14]: Okay.
- 34:32[SPEAKER_14]: Well, I understand you have a lot of issues there.
- 34:36[SPEAKER_14]: It's traumatic, though.
- 34:38[SPEAKER_14]: The councilman here has got to be the one to decide on it.
- 34:40[SPEAKER_14]: Why don't we let him say something?
- 34:43[SPEAKER_26]: Well, I just want to throw some information.
- 34:45[SPEAKER_26]: I had some actual numbers.
- 34:49[SPEAKER_26]: I don't know.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_26]: But I'll let him go, I'll hang up, and I'll take care.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_28]: All right, thank you, sir.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_28]: I'll take your numbers.
- 34:57[SPEAKER_14]: Oh, I'm sorry.
- 34:57[SPEAKER_14]: Anyway, he raises a lot of good points.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_14]: Let's see.
- 35:04[SPEAKER_14]: Well, I think he raises the issue of this idea of predisposition that the third four wants to get rid of refuse removal.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_14]: Why is it even on the agenda right now that anybody ask to put that on the agenda last December of January or February for the budget I don't know I know it was a question that came up during one of our
- 35:29[SPEAKER_28]: During either a regular meeting or a budget session, I think the mayor had mentioned it as an option to explore.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_28]: You know, it's not, I mean, whatever the numbers may be, and I set this during new business, and I think Councilman Kimbles set the same thing.
- 35:47[SPEAKER_28]: Whatever the numbers may be, we've had resounding support for the service, so I don't see the benefit of getting rid of it at this.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_14]: You know, they're confused.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_14]: And what do you got to do with it?
- 36:01[SPEAKER_14]: What a sticker.
- 36:01[SPEAKER_14]: I tried to explain to my brother, he was out of stages.
- 36:04[SPEAKER_14]: What are they doing up there?
- 36:05[SPEAKER_14]: Just put your trash out.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_14]: You got to have a sticker inside this tote thing.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_14]: And then you got to have recyclables, all separated by whatever.
- 36:13[SPEAKER_14]: Why do we do all of this?
- 36:14[SPEAKER_14]: Nobody else in the world does.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_28]: I mean, I think we've complicated.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_28]: I think we've complicated the service in that respect.
- 36:21[SPEAKER_28]: And we've created some uncertainty.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_28]: And I really want to reverse that trend and make it.
- 36:29[SPEAKER_28]: you know, so we get back the market share that we had before because I'm afraid we're losing people.
- 36:35[SPEAKER_14]: Hmm.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_14]: Well, you are, but how do you get control of it back?
- 36:40[SPEAKER_14]: They don't seem to want to give it to you.
- 36:43[SPEAKER_28]: Well, I mean, like I said, that's why we're going to be discussing some stuff here tonight regarding that and in the future I'm assuming to make the service better and more appealing.
- 36:54[SPEAKER_14]: uh... somebody text at a question and i have no idea is it true that uh... the dpw superintendant has ties to a private haulers i have no idea okay i don't know if they did would that be a problem um... answers yes well i don't know somebody text in the hotline should have its own t-sign
- 37:21[SPEAKER_14]: T sign you know to go for it.
- 37:22[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, we can't afford $500.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_14]: We have no budget for this show.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_14]: I tell you And somebody wants to know do you still support Kamala Harris for president?
- 37:34[SPEAKER_14]: No, you know, you like Trump?
- 37:38[SPEAKER_14]: No
- 37:38[SPEAKER_28]: I don't, I don't subscribe to either parties, as I have told you before, and on the show, I think both parties are pandering to their extreme basis, and I think if they want to draw in folks like me, they've got to meet more in the middle at this point.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_14]: Okay.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_14]: Sounds good.
- 37:57[SPEAKER_14]: All right.

- 41:16[SPEAKER_14]: It's all you need to know all you need to know joining us today is Councilman Doug Osborne who's in good enough to come in and You know he's a great guy and we like him for dude.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_14]: You know the governor's got something called a Peter Tair attack That's French for foot on the ground She wants to charge people.
- 41:34[SPEAKER_14]: This is at mom-dommie suggestion people who maybe like a Sean Hannity removed the forward it if he still has an expensive property in New York She wants to charge a search urge above and beyond the property taxes
- 41:46[SPEAKER_14]: And the Democrats in Albany are now saying, well, we want to extend that notion to all of upstate.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_14]: So, I know our homes in skinny, atlas, there might be some in this county, not too many, but if they're owned by somebody out of state, which some of them are.
- 42:01[SPEAKER_14]: And they're billing it as it'll be an extra revenue to local government that always is the sale sale point right there.
- 42:08[SPEAKER_28]: Do you want to kind of like selling we yeah, I just think that's ridiculous and it's a money grab and I think it will just further drive people away out of the state, you know.
- 42:24[SPEAKER_28]: we need to do something to lure them in.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_28]: Not push them out further.
- 42:29[SPEAKER_14]: Okay.
- 42:31[SPEAKER_14]: Um, got a governor's race this year.
- 42:33[SPEAKER_14]: Who the governor is affects the city in roundabout way.
- 42:38[SPEAKER_14]: You have any thoughts on the governor's race?
- 42:41[SPEAKER_28]: Not really.
- 42:41[SPEAKER_28]: I haven't given it much thought.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_28]: My focus has been primarily on the city.
- 42:45[SPEAKER_14]: You just said point at least if I didn't run.
- 42:47[SPEAKER_28]: Um,
- 42:49[SPEAKER_28]: not necessarily I mean I I'd look you're a hopeful guy or no no not not at least I mean I want varying candidates for governor I mean you're getting too a whole color blighting yeah I mean that's your choice I don't think that's a great choice but okay all right we got a call here but after doing it on the air you know hey you have a question for the councilman not his boat over your flag I will see councilman you were voting in favorite raising flags but
- 43:19[SPEAKER_13]: When they put up the request to stop receiving the request, you voted in favor of the mayor.
- 43:28[SPEAKER_13]: Could you explain why you made that vote?
- 43:30[SPEAKER_13]: I'm glad you did, but I didn't expect you to switch.
- 43:33[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, I thank you.
- 43:34[SPEAKER_13]: Absolutely.
- 43:36[SPEAKER_28]: Okay.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_28]: So I've stayed in the past.
- 43:39[SPEAKER_28]: You know, I was content with the original policy of just the regular state flag, city flag.
- 43:49[SPEAKER_28]: U.S. flag, that changed over to a new policy that I believe that Dr. Kimble had endorsed where he wanted a lot of the novelty flags.
- 44:02[SPEAKER_28]: raised, hoisted.
- 44:04[SPEAKER_28]: So, I mean, we've hoisted at the Irish flag of the past, we've hoisted a number of these other flags of the past.
- 44:09[SPEAKER_28]: I wanted to keep with tradition at the time.
- 44:12[SPEAKER_28]: And then, you know, we were getting, I just, I was concerned that we're going to continue to get bogged down by, you know, disajutting with flag policies, constantly in our agenda.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_28]: We have more important things to worry about.
- 44:26[SPEAKER_28]: Yeah, so that's why I just, you know, either we modify the policy where we codify the flags that we've always flown, or we just get rid of the policy altogether, and revert back to the other one.
- 44:39[SPEAKER_28]: And that's what I chose to do because I didn't want to be distracted constantly by flags every meeting.
- 44:45[SPEAKER_28]: No, I've become politicized.
- 44:47[SPEAKER_14]: No doubt about it.
- 44:48[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah.
- 44:48[SPEAKER_14]: 755, 1240, or phone number, if you'd like to give us a call to be on the show of shows today, with...
- 44:54[SPEAKER_24]: Downs him in dug iceborne he's been good enough to come in the other four we never see him but he's here so let's take a call here good afternoon here on the air hey you're afternoon mayor this guy's a straight up democrat councilman that's just fine which is fine which is fine the point is they don't even have enough backbunk of course you don't have to say we're gonna hold for or who you did vote for but he obviously voted for it
- 45:21[SPEAKER_24]: air the governor heat warning and say we wrote a forks and that for the presidency order governorships and you know the guys left wing not I wouldn't say that well I think so and you know you don't even have enough backbone to say well I'm at Burger King I don't know if I like french fries driving rings so I don't like anybody well you obviously ordered one of them that's a good point thank you
- 45:49[SPEAKER_14]: All right, right now.
- 45:50[SPEAKER_14]: All right, French fries are on Unionerings.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_28]: French fries.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_14]: French fries, okay, very good.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_14]: Made a decision there.
- 45:56[SPEAKER_22]: 7, 5, 5, 12, 40, and we'll be back with more in a moment.
- 46:10[SPEAKER_12]: Hey, it's Junior Dinco, that FX Coppola Honda in Watertown, and this May, FX Honda is turning 10 years old.

- 47:11[SPEAKER_15]: Every day, someone walks to the mailbox, they pause, they sort, they notice, in a world that moves fast, the mailbox slows things down, a message in someone's hand feels different.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_15]: It's not a swipe, not a scroll, not a distraction, it's intentional.
- 47:29[SPEAKER_15]: When your mail shows up consistently, clearly, thoughtfully, it builds trust when it speaks to the right people.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_15]: At the right time, it builds response.
- 47:41[SPEAKER_15]: Mail isn't just paper, it's presence, it's connection, it's opportunity delivered.

- 48:02[SPEAKER_15]: That's 315-788-885-60.

- 48:10[SPEAKER_10]: Hi, I'm Doug McTavitt, the PGA Golf Professional here at Willbert Golf Club.
- 48:15[SPEAKER_10]: This is a timing here where a lot of people are looking for places to join and places to play.
- 48:20[SPEAKER_10]: You've got to check out the 27 holes here at Willbert Golf Club.
- 48:24[SPEAKER_10]: Many times we get phone calls to you have a tournament.
- 48:27[SPEAKER_10]: A lot of times we do, but you can still play at Willbert Golf Club.
- 48:31[SPEAKER_10]: Remember, we're the only 27 hole golf course in the area.
- 48:36[SPEAKER_19]: Check our website, Wilbert Gov Club Watertown.com.
- 49:08[SPEAKER_22]: The North Country's Bell's News, AM-1240, W-A-T-N, Watertown.
- 49:19[SPEAKER_14]: Okay, we're back in the hotline.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_14]: It's just 11 minutes before one o'clock.
- 49:23[SPEAKER_14]: And we're gonna go right straight through here Councilman Doug Osborne here.
- 49:27[SPEAKER_14]: I'm moment ago.
- 49:27[SPEAKER_14]: We talked about these naming rights on public buildings Particularly the arena.
- 49:32[SPEAKER_14]: We talked a little during the break.
- 49:33[SPEAKER_14]: I said you if Billy could pair our quality up So I give you 10,000 to put my name on it.
- 49:37[SPEAKER_14]: I know Billy listens and What should do that?
- 49:41[SPEAKER_28]: I mean he'd have to go through the RFP process
- 49:44[SPEAKER_14]: But if there was nobody else, if there was nobody else in the universe and Billy saw give a $10,000.
- 49:49[SPEAKER_28]: Well, I mean, generally, if it goes through the RFP process and he's the only bid, he's the only bidder.
- 49:54[SPEAKER_28]: That's the one way we kind of review and consider at that point.
- 49:58[SPEAKER_14]: Wow.
- 49:59[SPEAKER_14]: $10,000 bucks to put your name on a $15 million building, whatever, yeah, that's that's cheap.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_14]: That's cheap.
- 50:08[SPEAKER_14]: All right, $75,5, $12,40, or a phone number, if you'd like to give us a call.
- 50:12[SPEAKER_14]: I think I told you before I came in, there were four room on the air.
- 50:17[SPEAKER_14]: I drove over here, on Main Street, I went to Tim Horton's, and then I got out and I'm driving towards West, and they're on the corner of Maine Avenue, and Maine Street is at Pyle Rubble with a fence around it.
- 50:31[SPEAKER_14]: This is the house that burned over a year ago.
- 50:34[SPEAKER_14]: I understand it's private property, but I also understand it's the same house that
- 50:43[SPEAKER_28]: Yeah, I mean, I don't know if there's this disproportionate approach between different sections of town, if something had occurred, okay?
- 50:54[SPEAKER_28]: I do know that the city is currently slated to clean up the debris there.
- 51:00[SPEAKER_28]: Go after coffee and street, and a few other properties around town that have been problem areas.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_28]: So, I mean, it's been slated, it's just a matter of time before we get there to do it.
- 51:13[SPEAKER_14]: Well, shouldn't it property owner do it?
- 51:18[SPEAKER_14]: Ideally, I believe on Temple Street they went in demolished it because it was an insurance thing, but these people who own these properties
- 51:27[SPEAKER_14]: They burned down and there's no, they still own him.
- 51:29[SPEAKER_14]: That was the problem why the city was reluctant to demolish them months ago, was because they didn't own him.
- 51:38[SPEAKER_14]: And in essence, doing work for a private property owner, granted you can put it on the taxes.
- 51:44[SPEAKER_14]: Right.
- 51:45[SPEAKER_14]: But she's, I don't know, I mean, it just seems to me there has to be a way to get stuff like that out of the way.
- 51:56[SPEAKER_14]: and they can hide behind lawyers all they want you know i'd a bad experience at lawyers the past few years and i i i know i know i know the game that goes on now i understand it better and it just seems to me like i said if that same house had burned on i've street next to the doctor or on luma strife next to the newspaper publisher or someplace like that it would have been cleaned up by now
- 52:25[SPEAKER_28]: Well, I mean, if the property of those sections of town are owned by somebody that can afford to do that, maybe that's the case, but you know, what we're talking about.
- 52:35[SPEAKER_28]: Folks that own properties that are absent landlords it makes increasing and it's increasingly difficult to get in touch with them and You know there Decompose property ends up being like a safety hazard something has to be done about it sooner than later So I mean whether it means us taking care of it and then billing them After the fact I mean we got to do what we got to do okay all right we got to call here But after dinner on the air
- 53:06[SPEAKER_25]: spend eight million dollars on a year or eight year old building over there to city and building and they don't have the money to pay for it and they praise the taxes.
- 53:21[SPEAKER_25]: There's to be the third time they want to raise the taxes.
- 53:23[SPEAKER_25]: They just can't afford to increase.
- 53:26[SPEAKER_25]: Now they want to close the pool on the north side here, which is the newest pool.
- 53:31[SPEAKER_25]: They're going to close one of the parks.
- 53:35[SPEAKER_14]: I think he's referring to City Hall, which is actually 60 years old, not 80, but you're doing all these renovations.
- 53:45[SPEAKER_14]: Hmm, courtroom, I don't even know what you're doing down here, I've been down here.
- 53:48[SPEAKER_28]: Well, the courtroom was mandated by the state.
- 53:51[SPEAKER_28]: It was either we do that or that, I mean,
- 53:55[SPEAKER_28]: The condition was we do it because we're delinquent and getting it started or, you know, we could see some of our funding that we receive from the state with health.
- 54:06[SPEAKER_28]: So, I mean, we had to take some action on that.
- 54:08[SPEAKER_28]: In the meantime, I think, you know, staff wanted to kill two birds or one stone.
- 54:12[SPEAKER_28]: We'll do that also update city hall, which has never really been updated at all.
- 54:19[SPEAKER_28]: Yeah, I don't like the cost of it all, obviously, but, you know, that building as old as it is has many deficiencies and, you know, was in a state of disrepair in many areas which, you know, and that's the focal point of the city too, that's where people come to conduct city business.
- 54:41[SPEAKER_14]: So, you know, we do want to be a, we do want it to be presentable.
- 54:49[SPEAKER_14]: Like up in the council chamber, this wide, and you have to pull this thing up hard to even open.
- 54:55[SPEAKER_14]: I said, how could that have possibly been considered a good idea when those folks designed it in the 60s, because in an emergency, you couldn't get an average North country person through that window, you know, even a skinny person, you couldn't, well, maybe.
- 55:15[SPEAKER_14]: It just seems to me, if somebody in the private sector had that kind of fire hazard on the upper floors, they'd be hammered.
- 55:23[SPEAKER_28]: Yeah, I mean I don't know.
- 55:25[SPEAKER_14]: Did you know you've started doing fire inspections again?
- 55:28[SPEAKER_28]: I heard that, yeah.
- 55:30[SPEAKER_14]: First time in what 15, 20 years I think.
- 55:33[SPEAKER_14]: not the fireman coach guy you know I don't we will wear a bit before i said it yeah i don't i don't think that's a bad thing no i don't either i used to like it when the fireman would stop by yeah you know shoot the breeze a little bit that kind of stuff and i like the fact that we're being proactive you know
- 55:52[SPEAKER_28]: I think that's one of the things that, you know, while I was running, that I wanted codes to be a little bit more proactive when I came to the approach and doing their job.
- 56:02[SPEAKER_14]: The only thing is, I had the, I had the records of the fire system, alarm system inspection.
- 56:09[SPEAKER_14]: I had a recent tag on the fire extinguisher.
- 56:12[SPEAKER_14]: in my basements and maculons so they couldn't get me on anything well it's good yeah that's good i got a weight with it there and it was balls out front i don't know about that but seven five five twelve forty the phone number if you'd like to give us a call to be on the show of certain treffers in concrete to a great job out there
- 56:29[SPEAKER_14]: i think they look nice actually yeah i mean you know it's amazing you think a concrete like pipes and and uh... septic tanks and all that nonsense but there's really a lot of nice decorating things you can do with concrete not just sea walls of it you know for the rich people but i mean fences and all of that stuff so people should consider concrete more in their decorating all right there you go
- 56:58[SPEAKER_14]: Good afternoon you're on the air.
- 57:02[SPEAKER_14]: All right, well nobody there.
- 57:04[SPEAKER_14]: Good afternoon you're on the air.
- 57:06[SPEAKER_16]: Hi, how are we doing?
- 57:07[SPEAKER_16]: I'm just over here today's talking about the property and not being cleaned up properly and some owners and stuff don't have the funds to be able to do that.
- 57:16[SPEAKER_16]: What are the thoughts on maybe having funds in the budget of the city to help the city be beautiful?
- 57:20[SPEAKER_16]: To help these people get that stuff cleaned up.
- 57:23[SPEAKER_16]: Just want to know what you guys just thought on that.
- 57:25[SPEAKER_14]: Thank you.
- 57:27[SPEAKER_14]: I don't know, I mean, you can have money in the budget to clean up masses, but I think we actually do.
- 57:34[SPEAKER_14]: And I think the issue would be short cleaning up the mass come with a relinquishment of the property rights or something.
- 57:43[SPEAKER_14]: There's otherwise that person can hold on to it for three years.
- 57:45[SPEAKER_28]: Yeah, I mean, it's...
- 57:50[SPEAKER_28]: That's another one of these arduous processes, right?
- 57:52[SPEAKER_28]: Like we just changed the law that's passed meeting to hopefully try to streamline that a little bit better, especially when properties go to lengthwise that.
- 58:03[SPEAKER_14]: Mm-hmm.
- 58:03[SPEAKER_14]: Okay.
- 58:03[SPEAKER_14]: All right, 7, 5, 5, 12, 40.
- 58:04[SPEAKER_14]: If you want to, you know, when's the next counts on meeting?
- 58:08[SPEAKER_28]: It would be the 18th, what is it?
- 58:11[SPEAKER_28]: The 18th, I believe.
- 58:14[SPEAKER_28]: Oh, the next regular meeting of this month.
- 58:16[SPEAKER_14]: Okay, is there a budget session?
- 58:18[SPEAKER_28]: Yeah, there's a budget session today at 530.
- 58:21[SPEAKER_28]: And there's another one next Wednesday at 530.
- 58:24[SPEAKER_14]: What are you going to discuss today?
- 58:27[SPEAKER_28]: Some of the items that we touched upon in the earlier sessions, we met with the different department heads.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_28]: So we'll touch upon what we kind of discussed during those things and try to come to a more definitive conclusion on some of those items.
- 58:46[SPEAKER_28]: uh... marron calceman gear brand still at the library i'm assuming until two p.m. today uh... Thursday we have calceman kimble from twelve to two that's on may 7th and then next Tuesday on may 12th it will be myself and calceman shown uh... at six from six to eight p.m. at the library my library
- 59:12[SPEAKER_28]: I just think it's a, I mean, first of all, it's available.
- 59:15[SPEAKER_28]: Well, not just available, but it's one of the best spots in the city.
- 59:19[SPEAKER_28]: It's basically a museum and it's, it's one of our best assets, I feel.
- 59:24[SPEAKER_28]: And I think it's, you know, a good place to offer the public to come in and meet with us in an informal setting and express their concerns about the budget and other issues.
- 59:36[SPEAKER_14]: OK. All right, sounds good.
- 59:38[SPEAKER_14]: Well, Councilman, thank you and good luck to everyone.
- 59:40[SPEAKER_14]: On everything, it's been a pleasure.
- 59:42[SPEAKER_14]: Hey, listen, Glenn Curry's going to be in a five o'clock today.
- 59:45[SPEAKER_14]: Did you know that?
- 59:46[SPEAKER_14]: And you'll have to be on his show one of these days.
- 59:49[SPEAKER_14]: All right, here on this community broadcast station.
- 59:52[SPEAKER_14]: We are AM-1240.
- 59:54[SPEAKER_14]: We are WATN.
- 59:56[SPEAKER_14]: We're in Watertown, New York.
- 59:57[SPEAKER_14]: The time, one o'clock.
- 59:58[SPEAKER_14]: CBS News is next, have a good day.
