- Jakayla Snipes: So major transits in a single day is pretty rare. And wanna kinda like talk about what's actually happening and kind of like why it matters. and I don't know, I feel like a lot of astrology content that's like the c like the clickbait kind of stuff will probably be like ⁓ June twenty buckle up. ⁓ gonna happen. gonna be so intense. Which I don't think is that useful or you're gonna get like details about it in a listicle. Three things to know about June twenty-ninth bullet points surface level and neither of those is what I want to do today. What I want to do ⁓ wanna show you that these three events, there's three ⁓ are about to be occurring, The Capricorn full moon, Mercury's about to station retrograde, and Jupiter is about to move into Leo. And these are not three separate things happening on the same day. I see them as one conversation. And once you see the through line, I feel like the day stops being overwhelming, as some of the clickbaity astrology stuff might say, and starts becoming more legible. So let's get into it. Welcome back to the astrology of it all. I'm Jaquela. And this is a show about astrology as a system. not superstition. Here we use the zodiac, planetary cycles, and seasonal patterns as tools for understanding behavior. We don't predict outcomes. If you're new here, the framework I work from is what I have called the seasonal framework. Which is an idea that each sign in the zodiac corresponds to a phase of the solar year And the traits associated with it each sign are actually the survival strategies that just makes a lot of sense for that season's conditions. The framework that I'm talking about is what I'm going to use today to make sense of June 29th. Because when you look at these three transits through the seasonal lens, I think something can click. Because it clicked for me, and I'm hoping it'll click for you too. So let's go through them one at a time, and then I want to show you how they connect. We won't be here long. So Full moon at 8 degrees Capricorn happens on June 29th around 756 PM Eastern time. So let's start with what a full moon actually does, because I think that this kind of gets lost. So a full moon is a moment of illumination. It's when the moon is fully lit by the sun and that light reveals things. What's been growing in the dark since the new moon? What's been accumulating quietly, what you've been building or ignoring or have committing to The sign the full moon is in tells you what category of your life gets illuminated. And Capricorn is a very specific kind of light. See, the scenes is little framework kind of goes like this. So Capricorn ⁓ to deep winter, specifically the winter solstice through mid-January. This is the harshest phase of the entire cycle. ⁓ temperatures, shortest days, ⁓ resources. And the people who survive deep winter aren't the most optimistic or the emotion most emotionally open. They're the most structurally prepared. They build the right shoulder. They preserve enough food. They make the hard choices in fall, you know, Virgo time, Libra time, Scorpio's time. They've made those hard choices. So that winter doesn't take them all out. And Capricorn's survival strategy is endurance through structure, discipline, systems, hierarchy, legacy, the long game. Not because Capricorn is cold hearted, but because Deep Winter is literally unforgiving to the undisciplined. So when a full moon lands in Capricorn, what I see illuminates isn't emotion, I see it illuminating infrastructure. giving you the questions like, what have you actually built? Is it load bearing? Does the foundation hold weight? Or have you been propping things up with appearances and just kind of hoping nobody notices? I'm the ladder most of the time to be honest with you guys. But this is very different from a vibe from say like a full moon in Cancer. A full moon in Cancer is one that would illuminate your emotional landscape, your attachments, which you need to feel safe. But a full moon in Capricorn doesn't care about how you feel about what you've built. It shines a light on whether that shit works. So concretely, and I won always want to make this concrete: the Capricorn full moon on June 29th, I see it as illuminating your relationship to your own ambitions and structures. That means different things for different people, but in general, it's like the gap between where you are and where you said you'd be, the commitments you made versus the follow-through on those commitments, the structures you built to look successful. versus the structures that are actually holding some weight. And I think it's worth giving you giving yourself that question before June 29th or in the days after it, because full moon moons have a window. They don't just like land and disappear. But most of the transients don't just land and disappear. They have a window, they have some effect on your on your life. It all depends on everybody. Your degrees in your birth chart, look at them like your temperature, you know, like so to a certain degree it depends on how it would affect you. It's not all One size fits all. It can never be for astrology because your birth chart is kind of like your fingerprint. It's a very specific configuration of exactly where the planets were, the moments that you were brought into this life, into this world. And that's not insignificant. And that does really matter. Just depends on what degree and I think how aware you want to be of what's going on around you. Not all of us want to have glasses on, okay? I don't like wearing my glasses. So I understand. And not all not everyone needs it. You can live or die without ever knowing even what your sun sign is, and you can be perfectly fine. But some of us, we just like to have the tools like Moah. But full moons, like I said, they don't just land and disappear. ⁓ it's worth doing internal check and just questioning what in my life and am I am I maintaining the appearance of rather than the reality of? Where have I built something that looks like a foundation, but is actually just a backdrop? Because Capricorn full moons are not comfortable. Because deep winter isn't a comfortable time, but it's honest. And that's the trade. And one more thing on this full moon specifically, it's actually at 8 degrees Capricorn. And so it's not a supercharged degree. And it's not conjuncting anything partially wild, but it is in a direct opposition to the sun in Cancer. so ⁓ Mercury also stations retrograde on 29th as well, same day, and it does it in Cancer. So let me be about what stationing means. so when a planet stations, it appears to slow to a stop from our vantage point on Earth. Before it turns direction. It's almost like if you're watching a car drive away from you and it slows down, stops, and starts moving towards you. There's a moment where it seems almost still. That's the station. And stationing moments are significant because the planet's energy is concentrated, condensed. Mercury stationing retrograde in cancer means Mercury's influence is at its most potent right at this moment and is turning inward. So Mercury retrograde runs from June 29th through July 23rd. That's almost four weeks. Now, Mercury retrograde is one of the most over-discussed and under understood transits in popular astrology because you know the narrative is things go wrong, your texts break, don't sign contracts. And that's not wrong exactly, but I find it missing the actual mechanism. So Mercury is the planet of communication, information processing, and the transmission of ideas. And when Mercury goes retrograde, the communication function turns inward. So instead of moving information forward, you're reviewing information where old conversations resurface, old choices get reconsidered, old threads come back up to be examined. And Mercury retrograde is a review period, not a punishment period. Now, Mercury and Cancer, here's where I find the seasonal framework making this very specific, okay? So cancer corresponds to early summer, the summer solstice, the peak nurturing phase of the year. This is a season where the most vulnerable things are alive, newborns, just sprouted plant, the young of every species. And cancer survival strategy can be protection, bonding deeply, creating safe shelter, staying attuned to what's fragile so you can defend it. And Mercury and Cancer, it normally communicates with that same protective logic where it circles around the vulnerable thing. It protects emotional truth from direct exposure. And Cancer, Mercury tends to communicate through the backdoor, kind of feeling out the emotional temperature before it says the real thing. It likes to protect the relationship even at the cost of full honesty. And Mercury retrograde in Cancer is reviewing that protective communication where you're inquiring. Where has your communication style been in service of protection and where has it been in service of avoidance? Cause those aren't the same thing. And I think that this retrograde is just inquiring for you to know the difference. So Old conversations will come back up. but people will reach out. Things you said or didn't say are going to resurface. Emotional discussions you thought were finished are going to reopen. And that's not the retrograde going wrong. That's the retrograde doing exactly what it's designed to do. ⁓ It's giving you another pass at conversations that weren't complete. And the specific of cancer here is where I'm really looking at. Because expect us to land in the territory of home, family, belonging, emotional safety, early life dynamics, the things that feel the most personal, the relationships where you have been most careful with your words because the stakes feel the highest. And that's where Mercury Retrograde and Cancer is going to inquire what emotional truth have you been protecting everyone, including yourself, from hearing? Here's where the full moon comes in because the full moon is in Capricorn, illuminating your external structures, your ambitions, what you've actually built. Mercury retrograde is in Cancer, reviewing your internal emotional communication, what you've protected and hidden. These are the same axes: Capricorn, Cancer, external structure, and internal truth. What you have built for the world to see and what you actually feel underneath it. See, those aren't two separate events happening to share a date. They're one event with two hands. The Capricorn Full Moon shows you the gap in your structures. Mercury retrograde and cancer gives you the emotional review that explains how the gap got there in the first place. And it got there because you probably weren't fully honest with yourself or someone else about what you actually needed. You built the structure that looked right. You communicated the feelings that, you know, were safe to communicate. And now both of those are being held up to the light on the same day. And that's not an accident. That's the chart. being coherent. And then there's Jupiter. Jupiter moves into Leo on June 29th as well, and it will be in Leo for approximately 12 months through mid-2027. Jupiter is your expansion principle. You see, whatever sign Jupiter is in, it expands, amplifies, and brings opportunity through the themes of that sign. And Jupiter and Leo means opportunity comes from expression and visibility and showing up in your full form and being seen. And Leo in the seasonal framework, it corresponds to midsummer. The peak of the growth cycle, longest days, maximum heat and light, where everything is alive and at its fullest. This is a season of radiant self expression. Not because Leo is vain, but because midsummer biology rewards maximum visibility, where the plant in full flower attracts the most pollinators. The animal displaying its full vitality attracts the best mates. 'Cause this is a season where being seen fully at your maximum capacity is the midsummer survival strategy. My favorite analogy is like the lion and their the them needing to mate. So, you know, they gotta make sure their mane looks all good. I don't know the exact technical biological formations needed, okay, for one lion to be attracted to another, okay. But in my head, I am imagining, you know, a lion just shaking out their mane like rrrr I get good shampoo or something, you know. And then like the l the lady lion is like, that's my man, okay? Or whatever, you know, like to say, or my girl, but I don't know how that works for lions. So we're just gonna keep it pushing. Jupiter Leo for the next twelve months is just wanting you to expand on that strategy, to take more space, to express yourself more fully, to stop dimming your presence for the comfort of people who benefit from you being smaller. Now, what does that mean for June 29th specifically versus what does it mean for the year ahead? Well, for June 29th, Jupiter's ingress into Leo is the third thread in that same conversation we're having. The Capricorn full moon, it wants to know whether your external structures are honest. Mercury retrograde cancer wants to know whether your internal emotional communication has been honest. While Jupiter entering Leo is going to be inquiring, are you willing to express what you find? Because here's the thing about Jupiter ingresses. They open a door. They don't push you through it. Jupiter moving into Leo doesn't guarantee you're gonna show up more fully or be more visible or take more creative risk, but it guarantees that the opportunity is there if you're willing to walk toward it. And the specific challenge of a Jupiter ingress and Leo on a day that's already asking for structural and emotional honesty is that the expression Jupiter is making available requires you to have done the work the other two trances are asking for. So you can't expand into full self expression if you don't know what's true about your structures. You can't fully show up visible if you've been hiding your emotional reality from your own damn self. So Jupiter entering Leo on this day is just basically saying that the expansion you are being offered requires you to be real first. Now, for the year ahead and I want to spend a minute on this because I think it matters Jupiter and Leo for 12 months is going to reward creative risk, visibility, leadership through presence rather than credential, is going to amplify what you put out, which means if you put out something authentic, it gets amplified. If you put out something performed, baby girl, that's gonna get amplified too. See, Jupiter doesn't editorialize, it just makes bigger what you're already doing in the first place. ⁓ the question Jupiter and Leo is inquiring for you to sit with over the next year is. What does your full self-expression actually look like? You know, when you're taking out that mane and shaking it loose. because it's not the curated version or the version that gets the most positive response in the past. ⁓ thing you make or say or do when you stop performing and start expressing. ⁓ that's what Leo season acts as of every organism, full blown to show up in complete form, ⁓ if it's briefly, because the season rewards it. And so I look at Jupiter as inquiring, you have twelve months of that energy available to you. What you gonna do with it, boo? So kinda wanna put this all together. Cause this is the part that I am like the most interested in. It's like being able to like connect the dots like a detective. June 29th is a structural, emotional, and expressive audit in one 24-hour window ⁓ the Capricorn moon is the structural audit. What have you built? Is it real? With Mercury stationing retrograde and cancer being the emotional audit? What have you been telling yourself and others about what you need? And has it been true? With Jupiter entering Leo being the expressive opportunity, are you willing to show up fully with what you find? And the through line? The question all three transits are asking, I believe, is this. Does your outside match your inside? Are the structures you've built, your career, your relationships, habits, com commitments, actually aligned with what you feel, need, and want? Or have you been constructing a life that looks right from the outside while quietly knowing it doesn't quite fit? See, I think that's a hard question, and it's supposed to be, because Capricorn full moons don't be asked no soft questions. Mercury retrograde in Cancer doesn't surface easy things, and Jupiter moving into Leo is not going to be satisfied with the version of you. That keeps editing itself into something safer. And this day is loud because the question is just inquiring honesty that most of us spend a lot of energy avoiding. Not because we're dishonest people, but because the gap between the life you constructed and the life that actually fits you can be so uncomfortable to directly look at. And June 29th makes it uncomfortable to look away. So What to actually do with everything I just said. I want to be practical, not ritualistic. They're ⁓ lighting a candle and in the moonlight ⁓ is my vibe. I'm not gonna lie to you guys. Like, I'm not like a crystals girl either. like, give me okay, you know, I'll take some like Modavite, some tourmaline, like, There's another one I like. It's like I think it starts with a C. It's like orange or something. I like those. Like I like the crystals like in the form of like a bracelet or a necklace or anklet, child. Something. But like charging crystals and lighting candles and putting moonlight w the none of that stuff is my stuff. I'm just gonna I'm just gonna be straight up with you. ⁓ have nothing against people who are all into it ⁓ all. Like it What works works. but that is just not one thing that works for me. ⁓ ⁓ I have a different suggestion. And I'm gonna organize them by the three transits, okay? So the full moon, I think you should pick one structure in your life that you've been maintaining appearances on. One thing that looks functional from the outside that you know privately is not actually working. And ⁓ eventually I'll come back and I'll like talk about my experiences through these transits as well and ⁓ answer like put forth my own honesty about this stuff for my life. We're not doing it now. Now we're just naming, okay? Okay? This is just the assignment. Homework will come later. or showing your work. I don't know. My brain's got an ice scrambling at this point for some reason. but I think I'm like a little nervous. Okay, I don't I don't I don't wanna make the crystal girlies in the world upset and think that that this stuff ain't valuable. ⁓ I it's very valuable, boo. It just don't do it for me. I don't know why. May it just doesn't do for me right now. Maybe one day in the future. I'm open. Okay. But for the Capricorn full moon, pick one structure in your life that you've been maintaining appearances on. Something that looks functional from the outside that you know just inside is not actually working. This could be a professional commitment, a relationship, a financial structure, a goal you keep saying you're working towards, but you haven't made real movement on. And this is not something you need to fix right now. Because I don't think that that's what this full moon is inquiring for you. I think it's just looking for honesty. Name it clearly to yourself in writing if that helps. And assess that what you write down or think about without defensiveness. just see, hey, what's happening here? What's the gap between the appearance and the reality? Because the point of it is, is you can't fix a gap that you won't look at. And then for Mercury retrograde and cancer, I want you to identify one emotional conversation you've been protecting everyone from having, including yourself. This is not a confrontation. ⁓ I'm not saying to go send a hard text on June 29th, but Mercury retrograde and cancer is going to surface unfinished emotional business, whether you like it or not. And it's better to know what yours is ahead of time, I believe, than to just be surprised when it arrives. Honestly, that's like literally like. the whole gist and juxtaposition of astrology to me. Like you you can can like perfectly know about all the transits and like kind of like be able to look at life this way in a sense and and be able to identify those gaps and just ⁓ if no I'm not saying you need to follow everything like like word word that I'm saying. But yeah, I forgot where I going there. Sorry. I lose my train of thought sometime. I was going somewhere and I completely lost it. But anyway, look at yourself, you know, ⁓ Just say what have I been communicating around instead of through? What have I been making sound okay that isn't? What have I been soft pedaling about what I need? And over the course of the retrograde through July 23rd, just see and notice what comes back up. Old conversations, dynamics, threads. Because they're not coming back to punish you. They're coming back because they weren't done. Something needs to be said that maybe didn't get said. And now For Jupiter entering Leo, this one's a longer game. Did I? Yes. this one's a bit of a longer game, but I have a specific June twenty-ninth action I'd suggest. Name something you've been underexpressing. Something you make, say, think, create, or do that you've been keeping smaller than it needs to be. Maybe something you you like to qualify with like, man, it's probably good enough, or I'm still figuring it out, or ⁓ don't know if I'm ready. The idea maybe you haven't pitched. The work maybe you haven't shared. Maybe the version of yourself that you've been holding back for when conditions are better. And don't you need to be fully public with this on June 29th. Just this is for yourself. But you should decide that Jupiter and Leo is the year that you stop waiting for permission because the midsummer strategy, the thing Leo is calibrated for. They ain't waiting for the moment to be perfect. They're fully blooming in the season you're actually in. And see, conditions are not gonna get more perfect. The door's open. Walk through it. So that's June 29th. Capricorn full moon. Mercury stationing in Cancer, retrograde in Cancer, Jupiter entering Leo. Not three separate things, one conversation. And if you want to go deeper on any of these transits through your own chart, what the full moon is activating, where Mercury retrograde lands in your placements, what Jupiter Leo expands for your specific configuration. That's exactly what the seasonal blueprint is for. so if you didn't know, I make a 30 to 50 page deep read of your full chart through the seasonal framework, ⁓ and gives you the context to understand transits. Like these, but not in general terms in the context of your life. I have the QR code right up here. You can get the seasonal blueprint or you can get the free guide. ⁓ I will actually show you ⁓ n fancy ⁓ web ⁓ This cosmically created. This this is the seasonal blueprint. You can get this boy ⁓ and learn much about yourself. And I also, if you like my voice for some reason, I also have an audio version available for you guys. You get a custom web page. ⁓ I can ⁓ show you. Let me see. Let me let me me ⁓ second and I can ⁓ show you guys an actual example of what your webpage will look like if you were to order a blueprint. Do do do do If my brain could ever work and I could go to the right page, that'd have key I I'll use Gabriella's an example 'cause I'm a girl I know she won't care. So this is an example of the webpage you would get. You would get if you order the audio version, because there is an audio version. Where did we go? There we go. so you can get ⁓ audio version. I have a secure checkout with Stripe. So you know who you're checking out with. ⁓ did not mean to show some information like that. Okay, okay, close out. Got to block that out. Okay, anyway. no, that's a canceled card actually. So ⁓ you would get nothing from that. but yeah, so this is the website. and the the page for the seasonal blueprint, which you can easily go find yourself at the QR code as well. I hate the magic cursor. Sorry. so ⁓ yeah. if new here and this framework is clicking for you, you can also get the seasonal ⁓ free guide for free. So I said free guide for free. but yeah, basically that's it. Thank you for being here. I'll here I'll be back soon. Cause I have more to talk about what I try to do. Bye.
