- 0:04Speaker 1: All right, we're back. Saturday special, kind of the best
- 0:07Speaker 1: of the week pod here for The Woody Show. Menji,
- 0:10Speaker 1: our trusted engineer and editor, what are we doing here?
- 0:14Speaker 2: All right.
- 0:15Speaker 3: So this is the best of the Saturday special where
- 0:18Speaker 3: we talk about the best moments from the week. We
- 0:21Speaker 3: have rotating hosts, of course. And this week we got
- 0:25Speaker 3: Sammy Morgan. We got Fort as well. We're just going
- 0:29Speaker 3: to kind of react to some of the clips that
- 0:31Speaker 3: we've had. from this week give some behind the scenes
- 0:34Speaker 3: commentary and of course Jeff G will be here to
- 0:37Speaker 3: I guess.
- 0:39Speaker 1: MC us I try to drive the boat I guess
- 0:41Speaker 1: is the best way to put it man so there's
- 0:43Speaker 1: a lot of really good stuff that happened this week
- 0:45Speaker 1: first of all we have to dedicate this episode to
- 0:47Speaker 1: Menace's dog Churo who passed away it was really sad
- 0:51Speaker 1: now Morgan recently you lost your dog Jeffrey yeah I.
- 0:54Speaker 4: Kind of started this whole thing with the Woody Show
- 0:56Speaker 4: dogs huh.
- 0:57Speaker 1: My bad you're the trendsetter and then I lost my
- 0:59Speaker 1: dog a couple weeks ago as well and now Menace
- 1:02Speaker 1: How many of you guys have met Menace's dog before?
- 1:04Speaker 1: I have. I have.
- 1:05Speaker 5: Multiple times.
- 1:06Speaker 6: Yeah, he's brought him in here.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Yeah, he's a cute dog. And I really feel for Jimmy,
- 1:10Speaker 1: his other dog, who's now going to be kind of
- 1:13Speaker 1: alone with Menace.
- 1:14Speaker 7: Yeah, that's hard.
- 1:14Speaker 1: You know, that's kind of hard for a dog when
- 1:16Speaker 1: they lose their partner too, right?
- 1:19Speaker 6: Yeah, but at least you.
- 1:19Speaker 4: Go home and you have a dog at home because
- 1:22Speaker 4: my house will never be the same.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Yeah. Is it still really quiet?
- 1:25Speaker 4: Oh, yeah. I still talk to my dog.
- 1:26Speaker 7: Yeah, it's bad.
- 1:27Speaker 1: You still talk to him and he's not there.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:29Speaker 8: Oh yeah.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Does that help you at all? Like with grieving?
- 1:33Speaker 7: I'm not sure.
- 1:33Speaker 4: Cause I also haven't cried since it happened. So I
- 1:35Speaker 4: don't know if that's normal or not. Like I've actually
- 1:38Speaker 4: have moved on, but I'm just like pretending that he's
- 1:41Speaker 4: still there, but.
- 1:43Speaker 2: That's part of grief.
- 1:43Speaker 5: You're pretty much like bottling it in, you know, you're, you're,
- 1:47Speaker 5: you're getting by with it, but at some point it's
- 1:49Speaker 5: going to come out.
- 1:51Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:51Speaker 4: So hearing menace talk about his dog this week on
- 1:53Speaker 4: the show, like, It makes me think about it again.
- 1:55Speaker 5: And I'm like, oh God, that sucks.
- 1:58Speaker 3: That's the weird thing about grief. It's not linear. It comes,
- 2:01Speaker 3: it goes, and it can be completely random. It just
- 2:04Speaker 3: hits you.
- 2:05Speaker 5: I've spent many, and actually outside of the show, like
- 2:09Speaker 5: on weekends or other events, with Menace's dogs, Churro and Chimmy.
- 2:13Speaker 1: And before we get to the content of the week,
- 2:16Speaker 1: people have been putting those trophy emojis in a lot
- 2:18Speaker 1: of our Instagram posts, and we didn't know what that meant.
- 2:20Speaker 1: And it was kind of like a throwaway in the
- 2:22Speaker 1: first episode of this Saturday special where I was like, hey,
- 2:26Speaker 1: comment on this podcast, comment on everything that we do.
- 2:28Speaker 1: That was direction from Menace, who was our social media director.
- 2:31Speaker 1: But someone in the comments last week said, hey, put
- 2:34Speaker 1: a different emoji this week, something different besides a trophy. Morgan, go.
- 2:38Speaker 4: Eggplant, eggplant. Eggplant. No, we shouldn't do that, right?
- 2:41Speaker 5: We don't need that.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Oh my gosh.
- 2:42Speaker 4: We might get flagged.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I might get flagged.
- 2:45Speaker 4: Okay, okay, let's do the demon face.
- 2:47Speaker 1: The demon.
- 2:48Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:48Speaker 1: The purple demon? Yeah, yeah, the purple demon.
- 2:50Speaker 9: I love that.
- 2:50Speaker 1: All right, so that is the super secret code for
- 2:52Speaker 1: this week's Saturday podcast. All right, let's go ahead and
- 2:54Speaker 1: start with the content from this week. And one of
- 2:57Speaker 1: the big discussions was the happy endings. And I really
- 3:00Speaker 1: dug that. A lot of reaction from the audience. Woody's
- 3:03Speaker 1: wife was on the phone from a previous segment. She
- 3:06Speaker 1: kind of hung around on this segment. By the way,
- 3:09Speaker 1: I love when she calls. It really gives us good
- 3:11Speaker 1: insight into Woody's personal relationships, right? And the whole story
- 3:15Speaker 1: was about a massage parlor in Jersey that got busted
- 3:17Speaker 1: for giving out happy endings. Not once, not twice. They
- 3:21Speaker 1: actually advertised the happy endings on their website. So Woody
- 3:25Speaker 1: asked if his wife and or Gina with her husband
- 3:29Speaker 1: would be okay with getting happy endings. So let's go
- 3:33Speaker 1: ahead and hear it first. Give it some context for
- 3:35Speaker 1: you guys if you missed it. And then we'll comment
- 3:37Speaker 1: coming up.
- 3:37Speaker 7: All right.
- 3:38Speaker 9: So here, while I have you on the phone, because
- 3:41Speaker 9: I know this kind of came up. And I know
- 3:45Speaker 9: what the answer is in my relationship and in my house.
- 3:49Speaker 9: I was surprised to hear Gina's take on this. But
- 3:53Speaker 9: this started because I saw a story, right? A question
- 3:55Speaker 9: for the ladies. Cops in New Jersey, they got this
- 3:59Speaker 9: massage parlor that they raided. It's called Waterfall Therapy. Now,
- 4:03Speaker 9: the owner gets arrested for promoting prostitution. They found like
- 4:07Speaker 9: 10 grand in cash, a mustache and the ceiling tiles
- 4:10Speaker 9: and stuff like that. That definitely looks legit.
- 4:12Speaker 7: No, for sure.
- 4:13Speaker 2: That's normal.
- 4:14Speaker 9: And they found some other things that absolutely have nothing
- 4:16Speaker 9: to do with legit massage. Here's another fun fact about
- 4:20Speaker 9: Waterfall Therapy. This is the second time this year that
- 4:25Speaker 9: they've been raided by the cops.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Whoopsie.
- 4:27Speaker 9: The last time two chicks got charged, they were shut down,
- 4:30Speaker 9: but then the business was back up and running within
- 4:32Speaker 9: a week.
- 4:33Speaker 3: Sweet.
- 4:34Speaker 9: And they weren't even trying to hide what was going
- 4:36Speaker 9: on there. Their website literally advertises happy ending on the
- 4:39Speaker 9: massage menu.
- 4:40Speaker 6: Well, there you go.
- 4:41Speaker 9: So this came up recently, the idea of happy massage,
- 4:46Speaker 9: because out of nowhere, Gina says, Would you guys be pissed?
- 4:52Speaker 2: She was talking.
- 4:53Speaker 7: There was like my wife and a couple. I knew that.
- 4:55Speaker 9: Would you guys be pissed if your husband got a
- 4:59Speaker 9: happy ending massage? Now, the answer in my house is
- 5:03Speaker 9: absolutely yes.
- 5:04Speaker 1: I would think.
- 5:05Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 5:06Speaker 7: Emphatically, yes. Emphatically. Yeah, so you wouldn't be cool with that?
- 5:11Speaker 7: I mean, I do like a good massage.
- 5:12Speaker 9: Like if I went to some massage place and they offered.
- 5:17Speaker 7: A happy ending and I took them up on it,
- 5:19Speaker 7: like you wouldn't be okay with that at all.
- 5:21Speaker 8: No, no, I would have many questions, and then we
- 5:23Speaker 8: would have many issues. Yeah.
- 5:25Speaker 7: Okay, because Gina said she wouldn't have a problem with it.
- 5:28Speaker 10: I know, you're crazy, Gina.
- 5:29Speaker 6: Yeah, I don't think it's that big of a deal.
- 5:31Speaker 11: I don't know.
- 5:32Speaker 8: But why?
- 5:32Speaker 11: Well, think of the whole massage. Like, that's a very
- 5:35Speaker 11: intimate thing, but you don't think of it that way.
- 5:36Speaker 11: You're just getting a rub down. So what does it
- 5:38Speaker 11: matter if it's that one body part as opposed to, like,
- 5:41Speaker 11: your back and your legs?
- 5:42Speaker 6: And, like, to me, you're just.
- 5:44Speaker 11: There to get whatever release you're getting anyway.
- 5:47Speaker 8: That body part is associated with sex and associated with
- 5:52Speaker 8: love and, and I don't know, it's just, it's a
- 5:56Speaker 8: totally separate, you can't lump that body part in with
- 5:59Speaker 8: the other body part.
- 6:01Speaker 11: I think, I mean, if somebody is already like, touching
- 6:03Speaker 11: on your man, like rubbing his back and stuff, I'd be.
- 6:05Speaker 7: Like, I mean, you're 80% there.
- 6:07Speaker 11: But that's what I'm saying.
- 6:09Speaker 9: This isn't... Sexual touch and other types of touch are
- 6:13Speaker 9: not the same.
- 6:13Speaker 11: But I would be much more, like, afraid for my
- 6:16Speaker 11: relationship if there was some sort of, like, girl that
- 6:20Speaker 11: kept texting him that he was friends with or they
- 6:22Speaker 11: were going out and getting drinks.
- 6:23Speaker 6: That would freak me out.
- 6:24Speaker 11: But hearing, like, I turned over and I knocked one out,
- 6:28Speaker 11: I'd be like, well, okay, I.
- 6:30Speaker 8: Kind of get it.
- 6:31Speaker 12: I don't think it's that big.
- 6:32Speaker 7: Of a deal. Sammy, would that fly in your relationship? No.
- 6:35Speaker 7: Could Steamboat Willie?
- 6:37Speaker 11: Don't tell Andy that.
- 6:38Speaker 6: No, I'm with your wife on this, Woody. I would
- 6:40Speaker 6: have a lot of questions. There would be a conversation.
- 6:42Speaker 7: Like, what questions would you have? What questions?
- 6:45Speaker 1: You would stick around and ask questions?
- 6:46Speaker 2: What are you doing?
- 6:47Speaker 7: What are you doing? They asked me if I wanted
- 6:49Speaker 7: a happy ending. I'm like, yeah, I got a couple
- 6:51Speaker 7: extra minutes.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:52Speaker 3: Yeah, sure.
- 6:52Speaker 8: Are you insane is a good question.
- 6:54Speaker 7: I don't think you're going to date her. But again, like,
- 6:56Speaker 7: why insane?
- 6:59Speaker 8: Because it's meant for sexual activity, which usually is associated
- 7:04Speaker 8: with people that you care about.
- 7:06Speaker 9: So if I'm Andy, right, and now I'm married to Gina,
- 7:11Speaker 9: and I opt in for the happy ending massage... Is
- 7:15Speaker 9: the question still, are you insane? It would be insane
- 7:18Speaker 9: because I know how you feel about it. I know
- 7:20Speaker 9: that you are absolutely against it. That would be the,
- 7:22Speaker 9: are you insane part.
- 7:24Speaker 8: Right.
- 7:24Speaker 9: Otherwise, if someone's just offering you a handy. Yeah, I
- 7:27Speaker 9: don't think there's anything behind it.
- 7:28Speaker 7: That's not insane.
- 7:29Speaker 2: That's the polar opposite of insane.
- 7:31Speaker 7: If you offered me a handy and I considered it,
- 7:34Speaker 7: am I insane?
- 7:35Speaker 6: Right.
- 7:36Speaker 3: Right.
- 7:37Speaker 2: You know where that leads.
- 7:38Speaker 7: Yeah, see, what we're trying to say is.
- 7:39Speaker 6: No, there's a relationship.
- 7:41Speaker 8: There's no relationship with the rando at.
- 7:43Speaker 7: The massage parlor.
- 7:46Speaker 5: That's kind of my point, too.
- 7:46Speaker 7: Because there could be a disconnect, because it's just about
- 7:49Speaker 7: the release.
- 7:49Speaker 9: It's not, like, I'm not interested in a relationship with
- 7:52Speaker 9: the handjob lady.
- 7:54Speaker 6: And if you close your eyes, you don't even know
- 7:56Speaker 6: which one it is. It's just happening.
- 7:58Speaker 8: You might see afterwards if she does a good enough job.
- 8:00Speaker 12: So what we're saying is, like, what Gina's saying is
- 8:05Speaker 12: It is awesome, but there's going to be repercussions.
- 8:12Speaker 9: Again, there's a lot of women who I don't think
- 8:14Speaker 9: would mind that. I think more than not that would mind.
- 8:18Speaker 9: I think more are like Sammy and like my wife.
- 8:20Speaker 11: I get it, but I think there's a lot of
- 8:22Speaker 11: things that are obviously cheating. And to me, I mean,
- 8:25Speaker 11: it's not probably great for your relationship depending on what
- 8:27Speaker 11: your thing is.
- 8:28Speaker 7: Question on the text. What if it was like a
- 8:30Speaker 7: handy by some random chick at a bar?
- 8:33Speaker 8: That's different.
- 8:35Speaker 11: Yeah, I'm not.
- 8:36Speaker 6: That's not.
- 8:37Speaker 7: Because they had socialization.
- 8:39Speaker 6: That's cheating.
- 8:39Speaker 11: If you're just doing a business transaction of a rub
- 8:42Speaker 11: down and then you just, you know, top it off.
- 8:46Speaker 8: Yeah, but what.
- 8:46Speaker 10: You're saying, Gina, is like, well, whatever.
- 8:48Speaker 6: They just needed a release. So that would be the
- 8:50Speaker 6: same thing for the girl at the bars.
- 8:51Speaker 10: It would be for a massage. Why not get the
- 8:53Speaker 10: release from you when they get home? Why does it
- 8:55Speaker 10: need to be right now?
- 8:56Speaker 6: Well, first of all, it's a win-win.
- 8:58Speaker 7: It's like when you're doing a renovation, right, Craig?
- 9:00Speaker 1: You're like, well.
- 9:01Speaker 7: We already have the bathroom.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Exactly. And you're already all oiled up.
- 9:05Speaker 11: They're not like having a drink, like laughing and cheersing.
- 9:08Speaker 11: It's just transactional.
- 9:10Speaker 7: All right.
- 9:10Speaker 1: Um, so Gina took a lot of heat for her stance, um,
- 9:14Speaker 1: on it. And she said, sure. My husband, I don't
- 9:16Speaker 1: really care. Ladies first thoughts on that.
- 9:20Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 9:20Speaker 6: I mean, I would definitely care.
- 9:23Speaker 10: I think it's, strange to have someone else in that
- 9:27Speaker 10: area when you're in a relationship with somebody else. So
- 9:30Speaker 10: I would think, yeah, I wouldn't want someone in that
- 9:33Speaker 10: area on me during a massage or after, because it
- 9:36Speaker 10: would make me uncomfortable. And I would hope that the
- 9:38Speaker 10: person that I'm in a relationship would be uncomfortable too
- 9:40Speaker 10: with someone else in that region of their body.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Okay. So I will counter that with what about strippers?
- 9:47Speaker 1: They're in that region and some strippers do an incredible
- 9:50Speaker 1: job so much so that you will finish in your
- 9:52Speaker 1: pants and So that's kind of the same thing without
- 9:56Speaker 1: taking it out.
- 9:56Speaker 6: Well, I think that's a lap dance. That's not just
- 9:58Speaker 6: going to a strip club and watching.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Strippers yeah but that's a lap dance so I mean
- 10:02Speaker 1: the same thing can be achieved.
- 10:04Speaker 4: So Sam is your man allowed to go to the
- 10:06Speaker 4: strip club and get a lap dance allowed to.
- 10:09Speaker 8: Good question.
- 10:14Speaker 6: I mean, it has not been a discussion.
- 10:16Speaker 10: He's not ever asked to go to a strip club
- 10:18Speaker 10: or that I'm aware of is out at strip clubs.
- 10:21Speaker 10: I don't know that it's necessarily an issue.
- 10:25Speaker 6: I mean, listen, if he's on.
- 10:27Speaker 10: A bachelor party or something and they're all going to
- 10:29Speaker 10: the strip club, like fine. But if it's a Saturday
- 10:32Speaker 10: night random and I'm wondering where you are and you're
- 10:34Speaker 10: at the strip club getting lap dances, yeah, that's a problem.
- 10:37Speaker 7: That's a fair response.
- 10:38Speaker 4: But you would say, yes, a lap dance is okay
- 10:40Speaker 4: in a certain situation.
- 10:42Speaker 3: In a social situation, it sounds like.
- 10:44Speaker 10: Yes, but I mean, you're not going in the back
- 10:46Speaker 10: room with the stripper, but you can get a lap dance.
- 10:48Speaker 6: That's fine.
- 10:49Speaker 1: Some of those lap dances happen in back rooms.
- 10:51Speaker 4: You heard it here first, Steamboat Willie. You can get
- 10:53Speaker 4: a lap dance.
- 10:54Speaker 1: The champagne room. Okay, so let me ask the guys
- 10:56Speaker 1: really quick before we get Morgan's reaction. What if it
- 10:59Speaker 1: was opposite? So we're talking about, you know, bachelorette parties
- 11:02Speaker 1: have some crazy action that can happen at those. And
- 11:06Speaker 1: we hear about a lot of it. Would you be
- 11:08Speaker 1: comfortable with your girl in this kind of situation?
- 11:12Speaker 3: Where she is getting a massage.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Being entertained. Yeah, she's being entertained. Her nether region is
- 11:19Speaker 1: being entertained.
- 11:20Speaker 3: That would be a no-go for me. Absolutely no-go.
- 11:24Speaker 8: Are you sure?
- 11:25Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah. I'm completely sure. No-go for me. But, you know,
- 11:32Speaker 3: if it's just the massage itself. Just the tits. Not
- 11:36Speaker 3: a happy ending kind of a situation.
- 11:38Speaker 5: You're wearing like 10 layers.
- 11:39Speaker 7: Oh, wait, sorry.
- 11:40Speaker 5: She's wearing like 10 layers of clothing. She can't feel it.
- 11:43Speaker 4: Double condom.
- 11:44Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, we're going to church right afterwards, praying at
- 11:48Speaker 3: the altar. No, I'd be just fine if it was
- 11:52Speaker 3: just the massage itself. No happy ending kind of a thing.
- 11:55Speaker 3: It doesn't matter gender to me. It's just like that's
- 11:59Speaker 3: the job that they're doing. I don't care.
- 12:02Speaker 5: I have a follow up to that.
- 12:03Speaker 7: How dead would you be?
- 12:05Speaker 5: If that happened to you and your lady found out.
- 12:07Speaker 3: Pretty dead. Dead in the ground.
- 12:08Speaker 5: Okay.
- 12:09Speaker 2: I was just curious.
- 12:10Speaker 5: I was curious.
- 12:11Speaker 2: And Bort? Yeah, no.
- 12:13Speaker 4: No.
- 12:13Speaker 1: Yeah, same for me.
- 12:14Speaker 2: No.
- 12:15Speaker 1: And you guys know I'm a germaphobe. So first of all,
- 12:17Speaker 1: I don't want her hand that's been on a thousand
- 12:19Speaker 1: other dicks on my dick. You know what I mean?
- 12:22Speaker 3: Even if she washed her hands.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:23Speaker 1: I mean, because immediately I just think of germs.
- 12:25Speaker 5: What if she uses hand sanding instead of lube? Like,
- 12:28Speaker 5: she just pours hand-sandy all over it.
- 12:30Speaker 1: That might burn, so that would be a problem as well.
- 12:32Speaker 7: It'll be clean, though.
- 12:33Speaker 6: Then you'll be clean.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Hand-sandy in a pee hole does not sound good at all, man.
- 12:37Speaker 7: It's just extra spice, man.
- 12:40Speaker 1: Morgan, feelings on what Gina had to say and how
- 12:43Speaker 1: would you handle that in that situation?
- 12:45Speaker 4: It's tough because I kind of agree with Gina, but
- 12:47Speaker 4: only because of where I met and the relationship I
- 12:50Speaker 4: met in my life, right? So, like, dating an athlete
- 12:52Speaker 4: or something like they're going to go do stuff and
- 12:54Speaker 4: you have to be okay with that. Right. But I'm
- 12:56Speaker 4: also not married. So I think if I was married,
- 12:58Speaker 4: I would feel differently about that. But right now, as
- 13:01Speaker 4: it stands, yeah, do your thing. Who cares?
- 13:04Speaker 1: Yeah. I've worked for a few celebrities in different capacities.
- 13:08Speaker 1: And I would see the side chick come in and
- 13:10Speaker 1: then I'd see the wife, you know, come in at
- 13:12Speaker 1: different houses and different things of that nature. And, you know,
- 13:16Speaker 1: for me, I mean, I tried my best not to judge,
- 13:19Speaker 1: but it seemed like they were in some sort of
- 13:20Speaker 1: open relationship. Like the wife never seemed bothered that they
- 13:23Speaker 1: weren't home or they were at this house or at
- 13:25Speaker 1: that house.
- 13:26Speaker 3: If there's that communication, then yeah, absolutely. If it's a
- 13:30Speaker 3: secret kind of thing, like it just seems like such
- 13:32Speaker 3: a hassle to keep your worlds apart.
- 13:35Speaker 5: You sound like you have first-hand knowledge.
- 13:37Speaker 3: Uh, no, I don't.
- 13:39Speaker 7: Are you sure?
- 13:40Speaker 3: I don't want to have firsthand knowledge. That's what I'm saying.
- 13:43Speaker 4: It comes down to confidence though. I think like if
- 13:45Speaker 4: you're confident in yourself, then what you do or don't
- 13:49Speaker 4: do with other people really is not my business because
- 13:51Speaker 4: I know who I am and that's not going to
- 13:54Speaker 4: make any difference to me. Okay.
- 13:56Speaker 1: Let me ask you this then both of you ladies,
- 13:57Speaker 1: if your husband was a giant gazillionaire, let's say you're
- 14:00Speaker 1: married to Jeff Bezos, right? And he goes, hey, listen,
- 14:03Speaker 1: Sammy and Morgan, I'm cheating whether you like it or not.
- 14:07Speaker 1: You could stay and have this great lifestyle on my
- 14:09Speaker 1: super yacht or you could kick rocks if you're not
- 14:12Speaker 1: going to let me cheat. What are you doing?
- 14:14Speaker 4: Oh, Jeff Bezos, I'm staying because he's not hot anyways.
- 14:16Speaker 4: I don't want to bang him.
- 14:19Speaker 1: That example.
- 14:19Speaker 6: It's better off he goes off. No, I'm leaving. I'm
- 14:23Speaker 6: not sticking around for that. Why?
- 14:24Speaker 10: So I can be lonely in my own relationship and
- 14:27Speaker 10: just like try and fill it with things.
- 14:30Speaker 3: You can have your own side piece.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, Sancho.
- 14:33Speaker 7: Oh, what a mess.
- 14:34Speaker 5: It would just be such a mess.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Too much work? Yeah, no.
- 14:37Speaker 7: You can have a whole harem.
- 14:38Speaker 6: Just give me a simple life with a nice relationship.
- 14:40Speaker 3: May I counter with money?
- 14:43Speaker 1: Yeah. Billions, as a matter of fact. Since we're talking relationships,
- 14:48Speaker 1: we talked about Tobey Maguire officiating his ex's wedding on
- 14:52Speaker 1: the show this week. Let's go ahead and listen to this,
- 14:55Speaker 1: and then I got some questions for you after that.
- 14:57Speaker 7: The new husband, obviously cool with it. He called Tobey
- 15:00Speaker 7: an incredible ex-husband.
- 15:02Speaker 1: Wow.
- 15:03Speaker 7: I don't think I could do that.
- 15:06Speaker 11: Would you even go?
- 15:07Speaker 6: You just wouldn't officiate it, or you just can't be there?
- 15:09Speaker 2: What's that?
- 15:10Speaker 11: Would you go to the wedding as a guest? If
- 15:12Speaker 11: you wouldn't officiate it, you wouldn't stand up there.
- 15:14Speaker 7: Would I go to my ex-wife's wedding?
- 15:16Speaker 6: Yes, but she really wanted you there.
- 15:17Speaker 5: No.
- 15:18Speaker 7: And all your friends were there.
- 15:19Speaker 4: No.
- 15:19Speaker 7: And they were really cool and famous.
- 15:20Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 15:21Speaker 7: I think it's weird.
- 15:21Speaker 9: I mean, Metis and I have talked about it a
- 15:23Speaker 9: number of times. He's been invited to ex-girlfriends' weddings and stuff.
- 15:26Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 15:27Speaker 3: It's just like, it's odd.
- 15:28Speaker 2: Like, why bother?
- 15:30Speaker 11: Unless you're legitimately best friends. And Greg, I think about
- 15:33Speaker 11: that quote you told me like a year ago all
- 15:35Speaker 11: the time. The, if you're still friends with your ex, Remember?
- 15:39Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 15:40Speaker 11: You're either still in love with them or you were
- 15:42Speaker 11: never in love with them to begin with.
- 15:44Speaker 2: Right.
- 15:44Speaker 6: I think that's so fascinating.
- 15:47Speaker 1: I don't believe that.
- 15:47Speaker 12: I just think that, like, yeah, you can be cool
- 15:51Speaker 12: with all your exes.
- 15:52Speaker 7: It doesn't matter.
- 15:53Speaker 12: But moments like that where it's a wedding or a
- 15:57Speaker 12: baby shower and stuff like that, there shouldn't be any
- 15:59Speaker 12: exes around.
- 15:59Speaker 11: Come watch me move on with my life.
- 16:01Speaker 1: Well, you don't.
- 16:02Speaker 7: If you have kids together, that's one thing.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:05Speaker 7: That's different.
- 16:06Speaker 12: You can celebrate and do other events together and be
- 16:09Speaker 12: cool or even meet up. I know friends that go
- 16:12Speaker 12: on vacations with exes.
- 16:14Speaker 7: That's so crazy. Mine certainly would not.
- 16:16Speaker 3: I don't see that happening.
- 16:18Speaker 2: Mario's cool with anything, but I'm not friends with. A
- 16:21Speaker 2: single ex.
- 16:22Speaker 7: I can't even relate. That's not the question.
- 16:24Speaker 2: If I was?
- 16:24Speaker 7: I'm not either.
- 16:25Speaker 1: You know what?
- 16:26Speaker 7: But I know for a fact, like, my wife would
- 16:28Speaker 7: not go for that.
- 16:29Speaker 2: He'd be cool with it.
- 16:30Speaker 7: You think so?
- 16:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:32Speaker 1: I would not.
- 16:33Speaker 3: Would your wife be cool with it if she was
- 16:35Speaker 3: hella gross now?
- 16:36Speaker 5: No.
- 16:37Speaker 7: Because I don't think that matters.
- 16:39Speaker 11: Yeah, I don't think my husband would be cool with it.
- 16:41Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 16:41Speaker 7: I mean, Nacho?
- 16:43Speaker 12: Yeah, I don't think she would care.
- 16:44Speaker 2: You don't think so?
- 16:45Speaker 5: No.
- 16:46Speaker 7: What about Steamboat Willie?
- 16:47Speaker 6: Oh, he would care.
- 16:48Speaker 7: Yeah, see?
- 16:49Speaker 6: For sure.
- 16:51Speaker 9: He knows you're... Would you care if he wanted to
- 16:52Speaker 9: go to some ex's wedding? No.
- 16:55Speaker 6: I would hope he gets a plus one and I
- 16:57Speaker 6: get to go. I would be fascinated. I would talk
- 16:59Speaker 6: so much crap.
- 16:59Speaker 7: Oh, my God. And I would love it. That's the
- 17:01Speaker 7: other reason you.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Don't invite him.
- 17:04Speaker 3: All right.
- 17:04Speaker 1: So anybody in the room friends with their exes?
- 17:07Speaker 4: Yeah, all of mine. Well, except for one.
- 17:09Speaker 6: I'm not not friends with them. If I run into
- 17:11Speaker 6: any of them, it would be like, oh, hey, how
- 17:13Speaker 6: are you? But I don't keep in touch with them.
- 17:16Speaker 5: I wouldn't say close friends, but yeah, I'm still like
- 17:19Speaker 5: familiar and like Facebook friends. And then ironically, a few
- 17:22Speaker 5: of them actually listen to the show. So they get
- 17:25Speaker 5: updates on my life regularly, which is interesting.
- 17:27Speaker 3: Oh, nice.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Nice.
- 17:28Speaker 3: I would say only one I am not friends with.
- 17:32Speaker 3: I'm not don't have any contact with. The other ones
- 17:35Speaker 3: are more like just, you know, civil, like they're in
- 17:38Speaker 3: circles of friends that I hang out with. But, you know,
- 17:42Speaker 3: it's just we're civil. We don't actually really interact.
- 17:45Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 17:46Speaker 4: Would you be allowed to?
- 17:47Speaker 1: I wouldn't. The word allowed has been tossed around a
- 17:53Speaker 1: lot today already.
- 17:55Speaker 4: We're just shooting the shit like buddies, yeah?
- 17:57Speaker 3: I think I would be.
- 17:59Speaker 1: I mean.
- 18:00Speaker 5: Hello, stranger woman I've never met before in my life. Yes,
- 18:03Speaker 5: it's good to see you.
- 18:05Speaker 1: It's fine.
- 18:06Speaker 3: I just, I don't have a.
- 18:07Speaker 1: That didn't sound fine.
- 18:09Speaker 10: Benji, I think what you're trying to say is out
- 18:12Speaker 10: of respect for your lady, you just don't.
- 18:16Speaker 3: That, but also I don't have an interest to. Sure.
- 18:19Speaker 3: That's fair. I can be civil with you, but I
- 18:22Speaker 3: don't need to, I don't need to have a full
- 18:24Speaker 3: on conversation. I don't need to go out hanging out
- 18:27Speaker 3: with you. I don't need to do any of that.
- 18:29Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 18:29Speaker 1: I think I mentioned for me, um, friend, not friends,
- 18:32Speaker 1: but we just will communicate like on social, just say
- 18:34Speaker 1: hi and whatever, um, here and there, but nothing serious
- 18:37Speaker 1: and it's all good, you know? But I think for me,
- 18:41Speaker 1: you grow out of those circles, right? Whoever you were with,
- 18:44Speaker 1: you had a group of friends and, you know, maybe
- 18:46Speaker 1: the girls were friends and you were friends with the
- 18:48Speaker 1: dudes and you just kind of like grew out of them,
- 18:50Speaker 1: especially when you have a family. Like, I think that's
- 18:52Speaker 1: one thing you learn is unfortunately. You don't have time
- 18:56Speaker 1: for everybody anymore, especially if they're single. All right. So
- 19:01Speaker 1: this other discussion was on Thursday, which I really loved.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Gina brought up a question when we were talking about
- 19:06Speaker 1: something else. Would you take $ 5 million if you knew
- 19:10Speaker 1: the person you hated most in this world would get
- 19:13Speaker 1: $ 10 million? I love that discussion. We're going to play
- 19:16Speaker 1: a little bit of it right now, and then we'll
- 19:18Speaker 1: talk about it next.
- 19:19Speaker 7: Would you.
- 19:20Speaker 11: happily accept $ 5 million if you knew that the person
- 19:24Speaker 11: you hate the most in the world would get $ 10 million?
- 19:26Speaker 3: Yes.
- 19:27Speaker 6: Okay, so a lot of people are like, oh, screw that.
- 19:30Speaker 7: Wait, wait, what was the question?
- 19:31Speaker 11: Would you take $ 5 million, just totally free, if it
- 19:35Speaker 11: meant the person you hate the most in the world
- 19:37Speaker 11: would get $ 10 million?
- 19:38Speaker 2: We know who that person is.
- 19:40Speaker 3: Hmm.
- 19:41Speaker 12: I know, it's not that easy.
- 19:42Speaker 2: Actually, you know what?
- 19:43Speaker 1: I got to take it.
- 19:45Speaker 6: It's not that easy.
- 19:45Speaker 7: No, I wouldn't.
- 19:46Speaker 6: There you go. It's not easy for me.
- 19:48Speaker 11: Yes, 100%.
- 19:49Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm going to go with you.
- 19:51Speaker 6: Hopefully they just blow through theirs.
- 19:53Speaker 9: Then you must not hate that person that much. Like
- 19:55Speaker 9: you don't like them. You hate them, but you don't
- 19:57Speaker 9: hate them that much.
- 19:58Speaker 8: True.
- 19:59Speaker 12: I don't think I'll ever think about them ever again.
- 20:01Speaker 9: The way that Greg and I hate, we hate deep.
- 20:05Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly.
- 20:06Speaker 7: We hate to the point where, like, man, I forget
- 20:08Speaker 7: what it was.
- 20:09Speaker 2: I wish them ill will. Oh, yeah.
- 20:11Speaker 7: Like, Greg was talking about, like, oh, man, I hope
- 20:14Speaker 7: they lose their house.
- 20:15Speaker 5: Right.
- 20:17Speaker 7: I hope they lose their house.
- 20:19Speaker 2: I think my exact words were, I hope they're in
- 20:21Speaker 2: financial ruin.
- 20:23Speaker 11: And they couldn't be if they just got $ 10 million.
- 20:26Speaker 9: And even though I don't feel the same way about
- 20:30Speaker 9: whoever he's talking about, I understand what Greg is saying
- 20:33Speaker 9: because I hate that deep too.
- 20:35Speaker 6: And not a lot.
- 20:36Speaker 7: There's only, man, one to two.
- 20:43Speaker 2: I'm thinking two for you.
- 20:45Speaker 1: Two?
- 20:45Speaker 9: Two.
- 20:46Speaker 2: And mine's not hatred so much. It's just, you know.
- 20:50Speaker 1: Disgust?
- 20:51Speaker 2: Yeah, kind of. It's the same thing. I guess.
- 20:53Speaker 7: It comes from the same place.
- 20:54Speaker 2: But then there's a level of selfishness. I would still
- 20:57Speaker 2: get $ 5 million.
- 20:59Speaker 7: Yeah. Too tempting.
- 21:01Speaker 9: But the $ 5 million came knowing that the other person
- 21:06Speaker 9: is set up at least twice as much as you are.
- 21:08Speaker 6: That's what I'm saying. Your hate is getting in your
- 21:12Speaker 6: own way.
- 21:12Speaker 7: Yeah, because I'll figure it out. Like, you know what?
- 21:14Speaker 9: I might not have $ 5 million, but I'll figure it
- 21:17Speaker 9: out that I'll be okay with it. But I am
- 21:19Speaker 9: even more okay knowing that they have nothing.
- 21:22Speaker 2: I'm taking the five. I'm taking the five.
- 21:26Speaker 7: You're taking the five?
- 21:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I would. The people that we're thinking of.
- 21:30Speaker 7: I hate even deeper than Greg.
- 21:31Speaker 2: Yeah, I think so.
- 21:33Speaker 7: Because I would be so happy with $ 5 million. That's
- 21:36Speaker 7: therapy worthy.
- 21:36Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 21:37Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe.
- 21:38Speaker 12: Yeah, because I feel like I used to be that way,
- 21:40Speaker 12: but now I just don't care anymore.
- 21:41Speaker 2: You're like, go take your 10. I'll take my five.
- 21:44Speaker 1: See ya.
- 21:45Speaker 2: Yeah. Let's make it happen.
- 21:46Speaker 6: Yeah, go be happy.
- 21:48Speaker 10: Right.
- 21:49Speaker 7: You can still be happy. And what brings you happiness?
- 21:51Speaker 7: That's another question.
- 21:52Speaker 8: Yeah, true.
- 21:52Speaker 9: It could bring you happiness knowing that this person that
- 21:55Speaker 9: Greg hates so much is in financial ruin.
- 21:56Speaker 7: That would bring him joy.
- 21:58Speaker 11: That's what helps him sleep at night.
- 22:01Speaker 7: That would bring him happiness.
- 22:03Speaker 1: True.
- 22:04Speaker 10: But it could make your life infinitely better.
- 22:07Speaker 6: Having that money.
- 22:09Speaker 7: Here's the thing.
- 22:09Speaker 10: But if you're hating so hard that you can't just
- 22:13Speaker 10: bring an element into your life.
- 22:14Speaker 7: It's super focused.
- 22:15Speaker 9: It's not a broad hate. The people who have broad hate,
- 22:18Speaker 9: that's concerning, right? I don't have broad hate.
- 22:21Speaker 7: I really don't.
- 22:22Speaker 2: No, and you have reasons for the hate.
- 22:24Speaker 6: Laser focused.
- 22:25Speaker 9: It is laser focused pinpoint precision on two individuals.
- 22:30Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 22:30Speaker 1: Right?
- 22:32Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 22:32Speaker 7: Who I want nothing good for.
- 22:33Speaker 3: Right.
- 22:34Speaker 7: Zero.
- 22:35Speaker 2: Financial ruin.
- 22:36Speaker 1: And who probably didn't want anything good for you. Yeah.
- 22:38Speaker 7: Oh, for sure. Yeah. I wanted to like they turn
- 22:41Speaker 7: the shower on. The hot water never comes on.
- 22:44Speaker 1: I mean, you know what I mean?
- 22:45Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 22:45Speaker 11: It would irk you too much.
- 22:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:48Speaker 7: I want all things bad.
- 22:51Speaker 2: Here's the thing, though.
- 22:54Speaker 9: Honestly, I don't wish death on anybody. I don't wish
- 22:57Speaker 9: death or disease. I'm not like that. But I just
- 23:01Speaker 9: want life to suck.
- 23:02Speaker 6: All the minor inconveniences you can have.
- 23:04Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah.
- 23:04Speaker 7: All those other things. I want you to get every
- 23:06Speaker 7: red light. You know what I mean?
- 23:09Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:09Speaker 7: I want you to lose your wallet.
- 23:10Speaker 12: Death by a thousand paper cuts.
- 23:12Speaker 9: Yeah. I want your toilet to overflow. I want your
- 23:17Speaker 9: stuff to get hacked.
- 23:18Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 23:18Speaker 7: You know what I mean?
- 23:19Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 23:19Speaker 9: And for you to have to go through life lock
- 23:22Speaker 9: to get everything back together.
- 23:24Speaker 1: Maybe some light food poisoning.
- 23:25Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 23:26Speaker 1: Mild.
- 23:26Speaker 7: Yeah, exactly. I don't wish disease. I don't wish.
- 23:30Speaker 7: Death as much as you know I can really hate.
- 23:33Speaker 2: Maybe take a wrong step off a curb and break
- 23:35Speaker 2: your ankle what's that take the wrong step off a
- 23:39Speaker 2: curb and you end up breaking your ankle like one
- 23:41Speaker 2: of those situations.
- 23:42Speaker 9: Yeah not even not even something that's not even injury
- 23:44Speaker 9: yeah not even something as serious as that just just
- 23:46Speaker 9: enough for like it's just just constant frustration frustration yeah
- 23:53Speaker 9: yeah exactly yeah exactly it's raining outside and for whatever
- 23:57Speaker 9: reason that's when the battery in your car is fobbed.
- 23:59Speaker 10: Oh that sounds good you know you don't want to
- 24:01Speaker 10: kill him you just want to torture him yeah now
- 24:04Speaker 10: you get.
- 24:04Speaker 9: It sammy yeah tech says uh no wonder he's not
- 24:08Speaker 9: happy in life i'm very happy in life i i
- 24:11Speaker 9: really am like am i am i cynical and am
- 24:13Speaker 9: i sarcastic and yeah But, man, you know, I love
- 24:16Speaker 9: my wife.
- 24:16Speaker 2: I love my family.
- 24:17Speaker 7: I love my job. I work with cool people. Things
- 24:20Speaker 7: are good.
- 24:20Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 24:21Speaker 2: Like what you hear. Like I said, what you hear.
- 24:23Speaker 9: When you're listening to the show is this is my job.
- 24:26Speaker 9: But I get to go off and, you know, get
- 24:27Speaker 9: into a little tangent here about how deeply when it
- 24:30Speaker 9: does get to that stuff, how deeply I will hate.
- 24:33Speaker 9: And I think I told you, like, I've been having
- 24:36Speaker 9: more and more thoughts about. kind of releasing that a bit.
- 24:41Speaker 7: Not a forgive.
- 24:42Speaker 2: But see, that's what Sammy's saying. Let that part go
- 24:45Speaker 2: and take the $ 5 million.
- 24:47Speaker 6: Because you're standing in your own way just to hate.
- 24:50Speaker 7: But it wouldn't be possible knowing that the other person got,
- 24:53Speaker 7: what did you say, $ 10 million?
- 24:54Speaker 11: $ 10 million.
- 24:55Speaker 9: It wouldn't be possible knowing that the person got $ 10 million.
- 24:58Speaker 7: Just because I got five.
- 25:00Speaker 9: I wouldn't love $ 5 million as much as I would
- 25:03Speaker 9: love them not having anything.
- 25:05Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 25:06Speaker 12: I mean, again, I used to think that way and
- 25:08Speaker 12: used to think that was winning if the other person
- 25:11Speaker 12: is not doing well.
- 25:12Speaker 2: Right.
- 25:13Speaker 12: But it's just like I think winning is not even
- 25:15Speaker 12: thinking about them. because then they're not even in my
- 25:18Speaker 12: head because I feel that they're winning yeah I think
- 25:21Speaker 12: they're winning by even affecting me in life.
- 25:24Speaker 11: I think what yours is more about is I mean
- 25:27Speaker 11: not karma well kind of karma but like evening the
- 25:29Speaker 11: score like for me it's like why should they keep
- 25:32Speaker 11: getting ahead like why do they keep having all this stuff.
- 25:35Speaker 12: It's not even a score keeping thing any part in
- 25:37Speaker 12: my life that's them winning Yeah, right.
- 25:40Speaker 1: That's them winning. Okay, Sammy, you were very clear. You're
- 25:43Speaker 1: taking the money.
- 25:44Speaker 6: Yep, taking the money all day.
- 25:45Speaker 1: I agree with you 100%. Everybody else?
- 25:48Speaker 4: I think Sammy had a great point during this segment
- 25:50Speaker 4: because it's like you need to let go of stuff, right?
- 25:52Speaker 4: So someone else having money shouldn't even bother you. Just
- 25:55Speaker 4: take your money and live your life.
- 25:57Speaker 1: Yeah, agreed, agreed.
- 25:59Speaker 3: Same thing. Take the money. As a matter of fact,
- 26:02Speaker 3: you could make some good investment choices and get to
- 26:05Speaker 3: that $ 10 million yourself. And so it's like, it's no
- 26:08Speaker 3: skin off your nose.
- 26:10Speaker 5: I'm pretty sure most of the people I don't like
- 26:11Speaker 5: make more money than me already. So yeah, I'll take
- 26:13Speaker 5: the money.
- 26:14Speaker 1: Yeah, and it's funny because Menace said this, and I
- 26:18Speaker 1: kind of agree. I don't even know that there's anybody
- 26:20Speaker 1: I hate that much, you know? Like, do I disagree
- 26:24Speaker 1: with some people? Sure. Do I, you know, not kick
- 26:26Speaker 1: it with some people because I don't like what they're
- 26:27Speaker 1: all about?
- 26:28Speaker 3: Sure.
- 26:28Speaker 5: Dislike some people, sure.
- 26:29Speaker 2: But hate?
- 26:30Speaker 1: Hate is kind of strong. So, I mean, to me,
- 26:33Speaker 1: them getting some money is just like, eh, whatever. And
- 26:36Speaker 1: if I really don't like them that much, I figure, like, well,
- 26:38Speaker 1: I could just not be on Instagram anymore, not ever
- 26:40Speaker 1: kind of see them again. They take their money, I
- 26:42Speaker 1: take my money, and we're both good, and eh.
- 26:45Speaker 3: Can you imagine being such a bitter person that you
- 26:50Speaker 3: will sacrifice millions of dollars just so that the other
- 26:53Speaker 3: person doesn't have that money?
- 26:55Speaker 6: Menji, did you just call Woody bitter?
- 26:57Speaker 1: Yeah, I was just going to say Woody and Greg.
- 27:01Speaker 2: Both of them.
- 27:01Speaker 3: You heard it here first.
- 27:02Speaker 1: No, Greg took the money. Shots fired. Oh yeah, Greg
- 27:05Speaker 1: said he'd take the money, right? But they both did
- 27:07Speaker 1: discuss how they can be petty, right?
- 27:11Speaker 5: Yes, but Greg wants the money. but they don't wish
- 27:13Speaker 5: illness or death on anybody yet. 20 minutes later, they're like.
- 27:16Speaker 7: I wish death on this person.
- 27:18Speaker 5: You're like, cool.
- 27:20Speaker 1: When you heard Woody and Greg's kind of playful banter
- 27:24Speaker 1: about hating someone that much. What did you think when
- 27:27Speaker 1: you heard that Morgan?
- 27:29Speaker 4: To be honest, it makes me sad. It makes me
- 27:31Speaker 4: sad that you can have someone else control your life
- 27:34Speaker 4: so much, like, and bother you so much that you
- 27:37Speaker 4: can't let go of it. Like, and I think I
- 27:40Speaker 4: forget who was bringing up the point. Maybe it was you, Jeff,
- 27:42Speaker 4: but like, you're hindering yourself at that point.
- 27:44Speaker 2: It was Sammy.
- 27:44Speaker 4: Or it was Sammy.
- 27:45Speaker 2: It was actually Sammy.
- 27:46Speaker 4: Like you're holding yourself back by letting them control you mentally,
- 27:49Speaker 4: you know, whatever. So it's kind of sad.
- 27:51Speaker 1: And I think, you know, to talk about Woody and Greg,
- 27:54Speaker 1: I think everybody's at different points in their lives, right? Like,
- 27:57Speaker 1: so I may have had at one point hate for
- 27:59Speaker 1: a coworker that may have screwed me over. And who knows?
- 28:02Speaker 1: We don't even know the context of the people that
- 28:04Speaker 1: they're talking about. I mean, and coworkers.
- 28:07Speaker 10: I do.
- 28:07Speaker 5: Oh, you do?
- 28:08Speaker 1: Okay, well, I mean, I don't expect you to shed
- 28:11Speaker 1: any light on it. But I do think that at
- 28:13Speaker 1: different parts in your life, people have wronged you. And
- 28:16Speaker 1: depending on where you are in your life, that really
- 28:19Speaker 1: dictates your reaction, right? When I was way more, you know,
- 28:22Speaker 1: in a bad place in my life, that hate was
- 28:24Speaker 1: probably there for somebody that did me wrong, especially at work.
- 28:27Speaker 1: Work seems to be a common denominator. I don't know
- 28:31Speaker 1: if it's, you know, a relationship thing for either of
- 28:33Speaker 1: those guys, but you know, those two things can pull
- 28:37Speaker 1: that bad shit out of you for sure.
- 28:38Speaker 5: And if it's an active current thing, if it's something
- 28:40Speaker 5: that from years ago, I could see like where like
- 28:42Speaker 5: the hate has run cold.
- 28:44Speaker 7: Like there is, It's old.
- 28:45Speaker 5: You really need to get rid of it. But if
- 28:47Speaker 5: it's something current where you're just not clicking and butting
- 28:49Speaker 5: heads with somebody constantly in the workplace, I kind of
- 28:52Speaker 5: get it for the moment.
- 28:53Speaker 1: All right, Sammy, I'm so glad you could join us
- 28:55Speaker 1: because last but not least today on the pod was
- 28:57Speaker 1: your rummage sale adventures.
- 28:59Speaker 6: Yes.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Honestly, like I said this on the air when it
- 29:02Speaker 1: happened too, I've never seen anybody this happy about something,
- 29:05Speaker 1: including myself, and I have children. But how happy you
- 29:09Speaker 1: were about these rummage sale deals. Let's go ahead and
- 29:11Speaker 1: hear a little bit of it, and then we'll talk
- 29:13Speaker 1: about it next.
- 29:14Speaker 6: My cheers is to rummage sales.
- 29:17Speaker 10: I've never, I know, but I've never been to.
- 29:23Speaker 7: I think the word rummage.
- 29:25Speaker 2: I know.
- 29:26Speaker 1: Is that a garage sale?
- 29:28Speaker 10: No, it's, I mean, I've never been to a rummage
- 29:31Speaker 10: sale before.
- 29:32Speaker 6: So it was because they're basically for charity, right?
- 29:35Speaker 10: So they collect stuff from everybody who's supporting their charity
- 29:39Speaker 10: and it was for a theater, too. It was a nonprofit,
- 29:42Speaker 10: just local theater. So they had like kind of props
- 29:45Speaker 10: that they had used for their performances and stuff. And
- 29:47Speaker 10: then plus people donated stuff. So it's a ton of stuff.
- 29:50Speaker 6: It is like a giant garage sale, but they're just
- 29:53Speaker 6: raising money.
- 29:54Speaker 3: Okay.
- 29:55Speaker 6: It was the best. Everything was so.
- 29:57Speaker 10: Cheap because it's not even it's cheaper than Goodwill. Like
- 30:00Speaker 10: there's no overhead and it's not someone's personal item to
- 30:03Speaker 10: where they're going to haggle with you over stuff or
- 30:05Speaker 10: this is the I mean, I got a bunch of
- 30:07Speaker 10: stuff that's going to be for Christmas because we're going
- 30:09Speaker 10: to have a lot of people at Christmas this year.
- 30:10Speaker 6: So mostly just serving where I.
- 30:12Speaker 10: Got 10 platters for like I mean, serving like stainless steel,
- 30:16Speaker 10: like serving platters for like under $ 30.
- 30:20Speaker 6: I got 10 of them. Wow.
- 30:22Speaker 10: And cheers to baking soda, by the way, because that
- 30:25Speaker 10: stuff rules to clean everything.
- 30:26Speaker 6: I cleaned it all with baking soda. Everything came right off.
- 30:29Speaker 6: It's amazing. I couldn't even believe it.
- 30:32Speaker 10: And I got other like giant bowls and stuff that
- 30:34Speaker 10: we're going to need and how cheap everything was.
- 30:37Speaker 6: It would have, the price that.
- 30:38Speaker 10: I got 10 platters and probably seven servingware bowls for,
- 30:43Speaker 10: it would have been the cost of one bowl.
- 30:45Speaker 9: You know, I'm conflicted because while everything she says is
- 30:48Speaker 9: so boring, right? I'm imagining, but I also appreciate how
- 30:52Speaker 9: much passion and genuine.
- 30:55Speaker 9: Interest and love she has for it right so while
- 30:58Speaker 9: it's not well it's not my thing i can't ever
- 30:59Speaker 9: imagine getting that excited about like i know the way
- 31:04Speaker 9: she describes it but at the same time like i
- 31:06Speaker 9: appreciate like i love anybody who's passionate about whatever they
- 31:09Speaker 9: do for a living like people who are like really
- 31:11Speaker 9: into what or whatever their hobby is really into whatever
- 31:14Speaker 9: like i can appreciate that but at the same time
- 31:16Speaker 9: i'm here and i'm like wow, it's like when kids
- 31:18Speaker 9: show you their artwork.
- 31:19Speaker 7: That's gross. Watch the spin move, mom. I want to
- 31:23Speaker 7: be excited for her, right? Because she's a friend.
- 31:26Speaker 9: She's very excited about how the baking soda got all
- 31:28Speaker 9: this stuff off this.
- 31:30Speaker 7: Stainless steel serving platter.
- 31:32Speaker 1: Yeah, the way she talks about it.
- 31:34Speaker 12: It sounds so lit.
- 31:35Speaker 7: Plus she found a million dollars. It sounds lit.
- 31:38Speaker 2: You're right.
- 31:38Speaker 10: It's so satisfying to take something that you.
- 31:41Speaker 6: Get, number one, a great. I was already in the
- 31:43Speaker 6: market for all this stuff.
- 31:45Speaker 10: And I was just walking my dog in my regular
- 31:48Speaker 10: neighborhood and saw this theater that I had been by
- 31:51Speaker 10: a million times having a rummage sale.
- 31:53Speaker 6: So I thought, okay.
- 31:54Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 31:55Speaker 12: We are full HGTV right now.
- 31:59Speaker 6: We all just aged 50 years.
- 32:00Speaker 10: Really quick, my jeers is that I was finding so
- 32:03Speaker 10: much stuff at the rummage sale. And we're getting, you know,
- 32:05Speaker 10: I was going to get stuff. And there was a
- 32:06Speaker 10: giant 16-quart pot for $ 5. And I was like, oh, hell, yeah,
- 32:11Speaker 10: I need a giant pot. And so I couldn't carry
- 32:14Speaker 10: everything around. I asked them to put it on hold.
- 32:16Speaker 10: They set it aside. They put a little note on
- 32:18Speaker 10: it on hold with some other stuff. And I walked
- 32:20Speaker 10: back and it was gone.
- 32:22Speaker 1: Oh, no.
- 32:24Speaker 3: I know.
- 32:24Speaker 6: And so the lady who put it on hold for
- 32:26Speaker 6: me was like, oh, did you put it back? I said, no,
- 32:29Speaker 6: I don't know where it is. And she was like, what?
- 32:30Speaker 10: She stormed around asking all the employees if they saw it.
- 32:33Speaker 10: Nobody had seen it. And so somebody must have just
- 32:35Speaker 10: taken it. But even the people checking people out said,
- 32:38Speaker 10: We didn't see anyone. We didn't even check anyone out
- 32:41Speaker 10: for this item.
- 32:41Speaker 6: So it just disappeared. Someone just stole it.
- 32:44Speaker 10: They didn't pay $ 5 for the pot.
- 32:50Speaker 7: Sammy.
- 32:51Speaker 9: Yes.
- 32:51Speaker 1: First rummage sale? First rummage sale, yes. So that's why
- 32:55Speaker 1: it was so exciting?
- 32:56Speaker 6: Yes, because there were so many things.
- 32:58Speaker 10: Obviously, I've been to yard sales or garage sales and
- 33:01Speaker 10: Goodwill and thrift stores and stuff like that.
- 33:03Speaker 6: But I had never been to a rummage sale before.
- 33:05Speaker 10: And it was obviously, it was still so many things
- 33:07Speaker 10: from so many different people, but the prices were so
- 33:11Speaker 10: low and they were still willing to make deals with
- 33:13Speaker 10: you on stuff too. The way that a garage sale
- 33:15Speaker 10: is versus like Goodwill where it's a fixed price.
- 33:17Speaker 8: It just.
- 33:18Speaker 10: And everyone was super happy to be there, all the workers.
- 33:21Speaker 10: And we're pushing you to buy stuff because they didn't
- 33:23Speaker 10: want stuff left over. They're raising money. So they're excited
- 33:26Speaker 10: for people to even be spending money for their charity
- 33:29Speaker 10: and all of this.
- 33:29Speaker 6: And it was just the best time. Everyone there was
- 33:32Speaker 6: so happy.
- 33:33Speaker 1: And you got good deals.
- 33:34Speaker 6: Great deals. Oh, my God. And I, okay, obviously.
- 33:38Speaker 1: Except for that one bitch that sold your stuff.
- 33:40Speaker 6: I know. Who was that?
- 33:42Speaker 10: And the girl who had set the thing aside for
- 33:44Speaker 10: me too was so annoyed because she said it happened
- 33:47Speaker 10: to her daughter earlier who had set stuff aside on
- 33:50Speaker 10: hold and someone just took the purse that she had
- 33:53Speaker 10: set on hold. So that was super annoying. Someone was
- 33:55Speaker 10: just around taking things and disappearing. Again, this is going
- 33:58Speaker 10: to be a lot of info, but.
- 33:59Speaker 6: We need this stuff for a very big Christmas that
- 34:01Speaker 6: we have coming up. It's serving ware. It's, you know,
- 34:04Speaker 6: all the serving ware.
- 34:05Speaker 1: Sorry, we're out of time, Sammy. I'm just kidding.
- 34:07Speaker 5: I'm contemplating suicide.
- 34:09Speaker 6: But we're making a giant... Have a deuce.
- 34:12Speaker 1: String me up.
- 34:14Speaker 7: Make it stop.
- 34:15Speaker 1: No, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead.
- 34:18Speaker 10: So my mom does homemade gnocchis, and she has to
- 34:21Speaker 10: do two big, giant batches of them.
- 34:23Speaker 6: And we need.
- 34:25Speaker 10: Like a huge, low, very big bowl to serve them in.
- 34:30Speaker 6: And so it's also kind of hard to find.
- 34:32Speaker 10: Like they have pasta bowls and stuff like that that
- 34:34Speaker 10: are similarly shaped.
- 34:35Speaker 6: But we need a very large one. And they had
- 34:38Speaker 6: it there. It's like such a rare.
- 34:39Speaker 10: Thing to even come by for like $ 10 sitting there.
- 34:43Speaker 6: I was like, I need literally these exact things. It
- 34:45Speaker 6: was nuts.
- 34:46Speaker 1: So let me ask you this. Will this turn into
- 34:49Speaker 1: a hobby for you? Have you caught the rummage sale bug?
- 34:52Speaker 8: Yes.
- 34:53Speaker 1: Will you be like looking online for rummage sales in
- 34:56Speaker 1: your areas?
- 34:56Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying.
- 34:57Speaker 6: Like, where do I even find rummage sales now? I
- 34:59Speaker 6: would love to know.
- 35:00Speaker 10: Like, I've always loved thrifting and doing that kind of stuff,
- 35:04Speaker 10: but I don't even know how to find a rummage sale.
- 35:06Speaker 6: I accidentally walked by this one and it rolled.
- 35:09Speaker 1: So maybe in the comments, you can help us figure
- 35:12Speaker 1: out where we can send Sammy next.
- 35:14Speaker 6: Bort, don't do it.
- 35:15Speaker 3: Bort, no.
- 35:17Speaker 12: Bort, Bort.
- 35:19Speaker 1: Bort actually has cable around his neck right now, which
- 35:21Speaker 1: is scary. Okay, so the question to the rest of
- 35:25Speaker 1: this room is I personally think hobbies are important to
- 35:28Speaker 1: have in life, right? shit that you could do that'll
- 35:30Speaker 1: take the stress off of your jobs and we always
- 35:32Speaker 1: have stressful jobs i know people think like oh we
- 35:34Speaker 1: got it really easy but when everything's down to the
- 35:36Speaker 1: second into the minute and all the things that happen
- 35:39Speaker 1: on this show it is very mentally stressful right it's
- 35:41Speaker 1: not physically stressful but mental so do you guys have
- 35:45Speaker 1: hobbies that you're as into as sammy is into rum
- 35:48Speaker 1: itself do you.
- 35:50Speaker 4: Oh well yeah mine's kind of obvious i think but
- 35:52Speaker 4: fighting and mma like I don't know what's wrong with me, guys. Lately,
- 35:55Speaker 4: I've been crying during fights. Like, they inspire me so much.
- 35:58Speaker 1: That's awesome.
- 35:59Speaker 4: Especially, like, if anyone watches Dana White's Contender Series, that's
- 36:02Speaker 4: where they're fighting for a UFC contract. Every Tuesday, dude,
- 36:05Speaker 4: I've bawled my eyes out just watching these people fight. So, like,
- 36:09Speaker 4: I think that's got to be my thing.
- 36:11Speaker 1: And hopefully that's you one day. And I think that
- 36:13Speaker 1: emotion comes from that being a goal for you, right? Oh,
- 36:16Speaker 1: for sure. Like, you wanted to visualize yourself.
- 36:18Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm very inspired, and, like, I'm believing in myself
- 36:21Speaker 4: more and more. So that's good.
- 36:23Speaker 5: Bort. I don't think anyone has ever been so excited
- 36:26Speaker 5: for anything in existence other than Sammy.
- 36:28Speaker 7: At the rummage. I was like, no, this is like
- 36:31Speaker 7: so over the top.
- 36:32Speaker 5: And I, man, I have hobbies and I love things
- 36:34Speaker 5: and I've been happy to acquire things or do things,
- 36:37Speaker 5: but I'm like, oh my God. Like I can't, I'm
- 36:41Speaker 5: wondering what makes you more excited than that. Like that's,
- 36:44Speaker 5: that was insane.
- 36:44Speaker 6: I mean, I do love a great deal.
- 36:46Speaker 7: All the way around. I get it, but I'm like,
- 36:49Speaker 7: I've never been at Target, but like, yes, toilet.
- 36:51Speaker 1: Paper's on sale!
- 36:53Speaker 7: Oh, yeah! This is beyond that.
- 36:55Speaker 10: Do you know how much this giant bowl would have
- 36:57Speaker 10: cost me that I just got for $ 10?
- 36:59Speaker 6: So much money.
- 37:00Speaker 5: I mean, yeah, I've gotten free stuff before. Cool.
- 37:02Speaker 7: And next. Moving on.
- 37:05Speaker 1: Menji.
- 37:07Speaker 3: Right now, I'm still learning how to play guitar. Every night,
- 37:13Speaker 3: I try to go and play a little bit of guitar,
- 37:16Speaker 3: try to get a little better each day.
- 37:17Speaker 4: Do you get pumped up and yell and cry?
- 37:20Speaker 3: I don't.
- 37:22Speaker 5: Do you scream?
- 37:23Speaker 2: Do you yell?
- 37:24Speaker 3: Sometimes. Sometimes, but not lately.
- 37:26Speaker 2: Hit that solo! Yeah!
- 37:29Speaker 3: What else do I do?
- 37:30Speaker 5: I think my next model kit, I'm going to pull
- 37:33Speaker 5: a Sammy. I'm going to get that hyped. I'm going
- 37:34Speaker 5: to start throwing stuff everywhere and be like, yes!
- 37:37Speaker 2: We did it!
- 37:38Speaker 3: I love watching horror movies, so sometimes I'll just put
- 37:43Speaker 3: on A horror movie of some kind and just leave
- 37:46Speaker 3: it running in the background.
- 37:47Speaker 5: Do you get hyped when somebody gets killed?
- 37:50Speaker 3: Sometimes.
- 37:50Speaker 7: Do you feel the.
- 37:51Speaker 5: Same way that Gina's husband does when he gets a massage?
- 37:56Speaker 2: Like, yeah, chop that head off.
- 37:57Speaker 4: Yes.
- 37:58Speaker 3: Sometimes, you know, you just got to stop down. You
- 38:00Speaker 3: got to take care of. business wow you're joe.
- 38:11Speaker 1: Wow joeing to horror movies put.
- 38:14Speaker 3: Him on a list wow oh man but sammy's excitement
- 38:17Speaker 3: for a rummage sale it reminds me of that old
- 38:20Speaker 3: staples commercial of like the guy going wow that's a
- 38:23Speaker 3: great deal wow that's a great.
- 38:26Speaker 1: Deal Sammy, I think you should take all of our
- 38:29Speaker 1: joking as, you know, we're all jaded perhaps, right? And
- 38:35Speaker 1: you find happiness in small things.
- 38:38Speaker 3: I do.
- 38:38Speaker 10: I'm a very excitable person if it's something that's in
- 38:41Speaker 10: my wheelhouse.
- 38:42Speaker 6: So I don't take offense to this. I've been told
- 38:44Speaker 6: I'm a very bubbly and excitable person. So, you know,
- 38:48Speaker 6: I enjoy it.
- 38:50Speaker 10: I think it's cool to get excited about things. I
- 38:52Speaker 10: hate when people think they're too cool to be excited.
- 38:55Speaker 6: And they're just like, oh, cool, man. And they think
- 38:58Speaker 6: they're cool. It's like, no, it's cool to be excited.
- 39:00Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 39:00Speaker 1: I mean, if something makes you happy, you should, you know,
- 39:03Speaker 1: you should have a reaction to it. And I think
- 39:05Speaker 1: there's nothing wrong with that. I just don't think we
