Speaker 1: Hey Unscripted fans, adding Ian Burke here the quick word.
• 0:11
Speaker 1: Normally you might hear one of our beloved cinephile and
• 0:13
Speaker 1: sixties segments over the weekend, but it's crucially important to
• 0:16
Speaker 1: all of us here at Unscripted that we give you
• 0:18
Speaker 1: all the impression that Jason n Murz actually knows something
• 0:21
Speaker 1: about hockey. That's why we were presented to you JD
• 0:24
Speaker 1: pov a segment from our latest episode featuring the legendary
• 0:28
Speaker 1: Sean McDonough. Give that episode a listen if you want
• 0:30
Speaker 1: to hear our conversation with one of the greatest broadcasters
• 0:33
Speaker 1: to ever do it now, stip back and enjoy Jason's
• 0:36
Speaker 1: mostly insightful breakdown. I won the best international hockey matchups
• 0:40
  Speaker 1: we've seen in a while.
• 0:42
Speaker 2: Cannon was dominating early in the first period. I think
• 0:44
Speaker 2: the Bell Center really carried them, Like I think the
• 0:47
Speaker 2: fans were just next level, and that's how good Montreal
• 0:49
Speaker 2: Canadians fans are and fans within the Montreal area. And
• 0:54
Speaker 2: I think Sweden was just a little kind of hesitant.
• 0:56
Speaker 2: They were a little bit scared, and you know, too,
• 0:58
Speaker 2: nothing lead early. And then Sweden, who I think is
• 1:01
Speaker 2: a dark horse in the tournament for me, I think
• 1:04
Speaker 2: they've the best decoor in the tournament, a lot of
• 1:06
Speaker 2: NHL experience. They started to kind of implement their game,
• 1:09
Speaker 2: and I mean they held Canada like twenty twenty two shots,
• 1:12
Speaker 2: which is which is insane with the amount of skill
• 1:15
Speaker 2: you have on that team. And you know again it was,
• 1:17
Speaker 2: but it was the Sidney Crosby show. Like this guy
• 1:20
Speaker 2: is is every every time we think, oh he might
• 1:22
Speaker 2: be getting a little old, you know, he comes out
• 1:24
Speaker 2: and he plays fantastic game. He uses his brain. I
• 1:28
Speaker 2: broke down the three goals that he was involved in
• 1:30
Speaker 2: directly him using his vision. I mean, there's every every
• 1:34
Speaker 2: single clip of the goal, and I'd love and edit
• 1:38
Speaker 2: here if we put these clips here. But before every
• 1:40
Speaker 2: goal he's he takes a look and scans the ice
• 1:44
Speaker 2: and then that's where he ends up going with the pucks.
• 1:46
Speaker 2: So on the mckinning goal, he he looks s, hees
• 1:48
Speaker 2: where mckinnony is, makes that little spin around my backhand.
• 1:51
Speaker 2: Then when he goes to mark Stone, he literally looks
• 1:53
Speaker 2: behind him says, okay, mark Stone's coming late. I can
• 1:56
Speaker 2: drive deep, turn up, hit Mark Stone. He does it,
• 1:58
Speaker 2: and then in overtime he's looking where guys are coming
• 2:01
Speaker 2: off from the bench and he's looking back behind him
• 2:03
Speaker 2: where Mitch Martin goes into the zone, drops it back.
• 2:06
Speaker 2: Nobody really does that and then gets out of the
• 2:09
Speaker 2: zone leads to the Mitch Marner goal. He's just He's incredible.
• 2:13
Speaker 2: He is Captain Canada. And the crazy stat that I
• 2:16
Speaker 2: want to really drive home here and drill home before
• 2:19
Speaker 2: I let you get back on this is in international games, Sidney.
• 2:23
Speaker 2: When Sidney Crosby is playing consecutively, he is twenty six
• 2:27
Speaker 2: straight wins in his last twenty six international games. He's
• 2:31
Speaker 2: twenty six and zero. That is such an astronomical number.
• 2:35
Speaker 2: When he is on team Canada, they have not lost
• 2:38
Speaker 2: in twenty six games.
• 2:39
Speaker 1: Dude, that's incredible. I did not know that. To enjoy
