SPEAKER_00: The biggest thing that my company will differ from any other rentals have no deposit.
• 0:03
  SPEAKER_00: Whoa.
• 0:04
  SPEAKER_00: No deposits.
• 0:06
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, no deposit.
• 0:07
SPEAKER_00: They're like, how are you gonna do that?
• 0:09
  SPEAKER_00: Like what?
• 0:09
SPEAKER_00: Like that, like that's crazy.
• 0:10
SPEAKER_00: It's just that not a lot of people want to take that extra step.
• 0:14
SPEAKER_00: But to do no deposits and low daily rates also, and there's some gear that you can get and it's only like ten dollars a day.
• 0:21
SPEAKER_00: It's not about how much money you can make, it's about how many people you can help.
• 0:37
  SPEAKER_03: What's up?
• 0:38
SPEAKER_03: It's Friday, and we got this man in the hot seat.
• 0:41
  SPEAKER_03: I was gone.
• 0:42
SPEAKER_03: So uh David actually helped with the last GTR event.
• 0:45
SPEAKER_03: You're in the back of the TRX.
• 0:46
  SPEAKER_03: I was, yeah.
• 0:47
SPEAKER_03: He was in the back of the TRX, literally putting his life at jeopardy.
• 0:51
SPEAKER_03: It's one thing when the truck pulls, but it's another thing when the truck stops.
• 0:55
SPEAKER_03: Oh yeah, we go flying back.
• 0:56
SPEAKER_03: He was like going flying back.
• 0:58
SPEAKER_03: So him and Jake, shout out.
• 0:59
SPEAKER_03: Jake, we gotta get you on the show too.
• 1:01
SPEAKER_03: Uh you have to stay tuned for this episode.
• 1:03
SPEAKER_03: We're gonna go deep into his background video the whole night.
• 1:07
  SPEAKER_03: We're already rolling.
• 1:08
SPEAKER_03: We have all cameras on, and I'm including you.
• 1:10
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you on the show.
• 1:12
  SPEAKER_03: So uh tune in.
• 1:14
  SPEAKER_03: See ya.
• 1:15
  SPEAKER_03: Well, welcome.
• 1:16
  SPEAKER_03: The liftoff experience.
• 1:18
  SPEAKER_03: Good to be here.
• 1:19
SPEAKER_03: Uh every episode is a little bit different.
• 1:22
SPEAKER_03: We just have a conversation.
• 1:23
  SPEAKER_03: It is Friday.
• 1:25
SPEAKER_03: First time we have rain and we've had the doors open and we're enjoying the outside inside in Arizona.
• 1:32
SPEAKER_03: It's supposed to be hot during this time of the year.
• 1:34
SPEAKER_03: Isn't it cool that we have freaking what we have?
• 1:36
  SPEAKER_03: Like what the heck?
• 1:38
  SPEAKER_03: Really nice.
• 1:38
  SPEAKER_03: We need them.
• 1:38
SPEAKER_03: Do we need the rain big time right now?
• 1:40
SPEAKER_03: I'm like stuck over here.
• 1:41
  SPEAKER_03: I'm like, I can't move my head.
• 1:43
SPEAKER_03: We need the rain big time, but also it's interesting because where I come from in California, we never really had like this during the summer.
• 1:50
  SPEAKER_03: Really?
• 1:51
SPEAKER_03: And it's cool to have the summers like this where you get the rain coming in and you get to enjoy a little cool-off and be able to still like you know have the door open like we are at the same time, which is super dope.
• 2:01
SPEAKER_03: So, but you've been living here your whole life, right?
• 2:03
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah, born and raised.
• 2:04
SPEAKER_03: We talked about that before.
• 2:05
SPEAKER_03: So uh got an Arizona in the house, and actually, true story, my wife, she was born in Tucson.
• 2:10
SPEAKER_03: So technically, she's a native, but went back to California.
• 2:13
  SPEAKER_03: That's a whole other story.
• 2:14
SPEAKER_03: You can watch her episode.
• 2:15
SPEAKER_03: Um, so you're close, right?
• 2:16
SPEAKER_03: To me, not too far.
• 2:17
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, dude, I'm 10 minutes down the street.
• 2:19
SPEAKER_03: 10 minutes down the street.
• 2:21
SPEAKER_03: So for the viewers and listeners out there, we're gonna get into a couple things.
• 2:24
SPEAKER_03: So we did our GTR event, we're just talking about that at the beginning of the show.
• 2:27
SPEAKER_03: Uh, David was in the back of the TRX, he is in media production, so filming, media.
• 2:33
SPEAKER_03: Um, you're tired, you're primarily currently doing a lot of media within um like concerts, like concert media.
• 2:39
SPEAKER_00: Uh yeah, concerts, other uh content creators, content creators as well.
• 2:47
SPEAKER_00: Uh start making media, get access to more uh gear and tools.
• 2:51
  SPEAKER_00: I love that, man.
• 2:51
  SPEAKER_03: I love that, dude.
• 2:52
SPEAKER_03: Congratulations for lifting off your own business.
• 2:56
SPEAKER_03: And I think that one thing when we talked about to give you all some context, um, I love how he has a servant's heart.
• 3:02
SPEAKER_03: Like he wants to serve first.
• 3:04
SPEAKER_03: He understands what's going on in the marketplace from the perspective of getting started in business, the price it costs for equipment.
• 3:12
SPEAKER_03: I mean, I've been filming in this studio here for I've been here for six years.
• 3:15
SPEAKER_03: I finally just pulled the plug, uh, pulled the trigger on these two.
• 3:19
SPEAKER_03: And you know, just that lens and camera alone is like 1500 sixteen hundred bucks.
• 3:23
SPEAKER_03: And then the Insta365, that one alone is another like four or five hundred bucks, whatever that is.
• 3:28
SPEAKER_03: Um, and then we have our OG, Meryless, Sony over here.
• 3:31
SPEAKER_03: So let's take it back, let's rewind.
• 3:33
SPEAKER_03: I want to get into a story a little bit, why he wants to help other people.
• 3:37
SPEAKER_03: Uh, we'll get into some tips and some things to think about when it comes to maybe starting your own business, getting equipment, getting getting started.
• 3:44
SPEAKER_03: Uh, you could use this for business, and you can use this for like if you want to get a media company.
• 3:47
SPEAKER_03: We're also gonna talk about his car.
• 3:49
SPEAKER_03: Uh, he has cameras worth more than his car, and he makes jokes on social and talks about his next thing to break and fix and what have you.
• 3:57
SPEAKER_03: So, so kudos for you on that.
• 3:59
SPEAKER_03: I see a new car coming in his future.
• 4:00
SPEAKER_03: So, where did this all start, dude?
• 4:02
SPEAKER_03: Well, to take it way, way back.
• 4:04
SPEAKER_03: Let's take it back, bro.
• 4:05
  SPEAKER_03: We got two hours.
• 4:06
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 4:06
  SPEAKER_03: Take your time, relax.
• 4:07
  SPEAKER_03: Y'all get some popcorn.
• 4:08
SPEAKER_03: Okay, we're getting into it.
• 4:10
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 4:10
SPEAKER_00: So my art, uh, I guess, life started like way when I was young.
• 4:15
SPEAKER_00: I've been drawing ever since I was a kid, ever since I was able to pick up a pen and everything.
• 4:18
  SPEAKER_00: And love that.
• 4:19
SPEAKER_00: I don't know everybody, you know, how they're colouring books and everything, but I, you know, I would try to do a little bit more.
• 4:23
SPEAKER_00: You know, I was doing art classes all throughout school, obviously, but when it got into high school, that's when I was able to do more dedicated art classes.
• 4:29
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 4:30
SPEAKER_00: And I was my form of media was um like graphite with uh hyper-realism.
• 4:34
SPEAKER_00: So like real, real, like doing a lot of portraits, uh, a lot of like like landscape.
• 4:39
SPEAKER_00: Do you still have this?
• 4:40
SPEAKER_00: Do you have any of this stuff that you used to do?
• 4:42
  SPEAKER_02: No, no.
• 4:44
SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna say, I'm gonna say send it over to you.
• 4:46
SPEAKER_02: Put it in and we can see it.
• 4:48
SPEAKER_00: There's there's a there's a time where I had a I feel like a lot of artists kind of go through a point where like they look at their work and they're like, oh, this is terrible.
• 4:55
  SPEAKER_00: I hate it.
• 4:55
SPEAKER_00: I can't believe I did this and I threw it all out.
• 4:58
  SPEAKER_00: I know.
• 4:59
SPEAKER_00: I feel like I feel like there's a lot of people out there who would who can um uh understand that or went through a similar thing.
• 5:04
SPEAKER_00: So I looked back and I was like, I really wish I still had that.
• 5:06
  SPEAKER_00: I I I remember that.
• 5:08
SPEAKER_00: I spent like three, four hours drawing that I wish I would have had that.
• 5:11
SPEAKER_00: And people It's coming up right now, dude.
• 5:13
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 5:13
  SPEAKER_00: Dang it.
• 5:14
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 5:15
SPEAKER_00: So um I did that in high school and everything.
• 5:18
SPEAKER_00: Um, and I was thinking about going to an art institution out of high school, but I had reached a point where in my senior year, um, I was like looking at the people around me, my in my art class and everything, and the ones who did go to art institutions, and I'm like, no, their work is just way better than mine.
• 5:31
  SPEAKER_00: Like, I can't compete.
• 5:32
SPEAKER_00: There's nothing I could like I've reached my wall.
• 5:34
  SPEAKER_00: Like I've plateaued.
• 5:36
SPEAKER_00: There's nothing really more I can do to my skills, so I I just dropped it.
• 5:39
  SPEAKER_00: I stopped doing it.
• 5:40
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 5:40
SPEAKER_00: I I thought I couldn't achieve greater, so I was like, I might as well just hang it up.
• 5:45
SPEAKER_00: So then uh I went to college and everything, and I didn't do anything for art for about like two years, but I felt like there was always like a hole, there's something missing, like a part of me wasn't there.
• 5:55
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and that's uh I started following some like uh other like famous photographers.
• 6:01
SPEAKER_00: Um and I realized I was like, why don't just do this?
• 6:04
SPEAKER_00: Like I could just get a little rinky dinky camera and just like see how it goes, like how how I like it.
• 6:10
SPEAKER_00: Uh I bought my first camera, which was a uh Canon uh T7 Ti, TI7.
• 6:18
SPEAKER_00: Is that a mirrorless too?
• 6:20
  SPEAKER_00: No, not not mirrorless.
• 6:21
  SPEAKER_00: It's uh it's a it's a what are they called?
• 6:23
  SPEAKER_00: ACP top sensor.
• 6:25
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 6:26
SPEAKER_00: I feel like I got that word wrong before you really said that wrong.
• 6:29
SPEAKER_00: You say that camera wrong.
• 6:30
SPEAKER_00: Go ahead, go in the comments below, correct us.
• 6:32
  SPEAKER_00: What is it?
• 6:33
  SPEAKER_00: Uh T7i.
• 6:34
SPEAKER_00: I think there you go.
• 6:35
  SPEAKER_00: T7i, that's what I'm saying.
• 6:36
  SPEAKER_00: That's what the camera's called.
• 6:37
SPEAKER_00: We took you way back, so yeah.
• 6:38
  SPEAKER_00: Oh good.
• 6:39
SPEAKER_00: So then I started doing that, and I loved it.
• 6:41
SPEAKER_00: I fell in love immediately.
• 6:42
SPEAKER_00: I was like, I was like, this is what I can do.
• 6:43
SPEAKER_00: Like what were you filming?
• 6:45
SPEAKER_00: Like, what kind of thing?
• 6:46
SPEAKER_00: I just went uh I went back into just landscape photography.
• 6:48
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 6:51
SPEAKER_00: I went to like 12 different states.
• 6:52
  SPEAKER_00: Wow.
• 6:53
SPEAKER_00: A bunch of different like um uh natural forests and stuff, and wow, really big hikes, and it made me just like feel really connected back to like doing a form of art and everything.
• 7:02
SPEAKER_00: I felt like I gained back what I had lost.
• 7:05
SPEAKER_00: I got I had a new passion, everything to continue with photography.
• 7:08
  SPEAKER_00: So go, bro.
• 7:10
SPEAKER_00: I went to I went and did that, and that was amazing, and then uh traveling starting to get expensive.
• 7:15
SPEAKER_00: So then I switched into uh automotive photography.
• 7:19
SPEAKER_00: I started going to a bunch of car events here in Arizona, which is wonderful.
• 7:22
SPEAKER_00: Arizona has one of the greatest car communities.
• 7:25
SPEAKER_03: Dude, I love Arizona car community.
• 7:27
  SPEAKER_03: I had no idea.
• 7:27
  SPEAKER_03: Come from California.
• 7:28
SPEAKER_03: There's some pretty dope cars too.
• 7:29
  SPEAKER_03: Community is pretty dope.
• 7:30
SPEAKER_03: Uh unfortunately, you know, Power B, police, whatever, government like to crack things down, exhaust and tent and underglow in Arizona.
• 7:38
  SPEAKER_00: It's like Yeah, it's amazing.
• 7:40
  SPEAKER_00: So amazing.
• 7:41
  SPEAKER_00: You have all that.
• 7:41
SPEAKER_00: So I was I was able to be around where like it it blew it blew up a lot.
• 7:46
SPEAKER_00: Like when I first started, like we still had like Arizona has always had a car community, but it's definitely blown up uh around the time when I uh really started doing photography, which was great for me.
• 7:55
SPEAKER_00: I got a lot of opportunities, met a lot of what year was this, would you say?
• 7:58
SPEAKER_00: Uh like like right before COVID.
• 8:01
  SPEAKER_00: Okay, it's like 2019, 2018.
• 8:03
SPEAKER_00: I feel like the car community really blew up, and then the COVID hit, so like kind of put a damper on things, but still people still did some really good meetups and everything.
• 8:09
SPEAKER_00: And then after that, it blew up even more, like in 2022, 2023.
• 8:13
SPEAKER_00: A lot of other like companies and organizations came out, and like there's like 20 different car shows, car meets every weekend here now.
• 8:20
SPEAKER_00: So it's hard to keep up, dude.
• 8:22
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 8:22
SPEAKER_00: Uh so you know, tons of people were reaching out, like telling me, like oh, yeah, come to this one, go to this one.
• 8:26
SPEAKER_00: So I was going to a lot of amazing places, met a lot of great people and everything.
• 8:29
  SPEAKER_00: Wow.
• 8:29
SPEAKER_03: So yeah, dude, you know, the one thing too for uh the car community out there, y'all know you know, you know, it's one of those things that has really catapulted my Instagram.
• 8:39
SPEAKER_03: And so at one point, just like two, three months ago, um 350,000 a month of people of reach and only like 2,500 followers.
• 8:47
  SPEAKER_03: I didn't even have 30,000, 100,000 followers.
• 8:50
SPEAKER_03: Um, and since then, now I built another Instagram just for the GTR on its own, just so I can have a catalog of all of the pictures and can keep that.
• 8:59
SPEAKER_03: Uh also not selling the car, if ever, then you get the Instagram with the car, which I think is a really cool idea, really nice idea.
• 9:06
SPEAKER_03: Right, that'd be really cool.
• 9:07
SPEAKER_03: Because then you can look at the iterations and the change and the parts and and all the things.
• 9:10
SPEAKER_03: Um, it's should be back next week.
• 9:12
SPEAKER_03: Nice full conversion, Liberty Walk Hood, oh yeah, uh carbon fiber louvered heav uh fenders, uh 2017 front bumper conversion.
• 9:20
SPEAKER_03: So I think we dropped another 15, five into it, so which is crazy.
• 9:26
SPEAKER_03: So it's ready for ready for the next meet here soon.
• 9:30
SPEAKER_03: Um so now did you have the company at this time?
• 9:34
SPEAKER_03: Was this you're just doing this personally and then putting on your own Instagram account and it was blowing it up?
• 9:39
SPEAKER_03: And then and then were you were you charging anything, just doing everything for free, or how did that come about?
• 9:45
SPEAKER_00: So I was doing everything just on my personal page and everything.
• 9:47
SPEAKER_00: I wasn't even thinking about a company at this point when I started doing photography.
• 9:51
SPEAKER_00: Um, and I was charging some.
• 9:53
  SPEAKER_00: I wasn't charging a lot though.
• 9:54
SPEAKER_00: Most if you go on my Instagram, I'm pretty sure uh on my personal one, those car photos, I think only like two or three of them are actually paid for.
• 10:01
  SPEAKER_00: Really?
• 10:02
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 10:02
SPEAKER_02: Links down below, check it out.
• 10:03
SPEAKER_00: All the other ones are just me going to car shows or meeting up with like a friend that has a really cool car and doing stuff.
• 10:09
SPEAKER_00: Um most of the stuff that I would pay for would actually be like weddings or family photos and stuff.
• 10:14
  SPEAKER_00: I don't I don't really post any of that stuff.
• 10:16
SPEAKER_00: I ask I always ask people like, are you okay with me posting it?
• 10:18
SPEAKER_00: A lot of people are like, nah, these are I want them to be private, and I respect that completely.
• 10:21
SPEAKER_00: So and plus people like looking at cars more anyways.
• 10:24
  SPEAKER_00: Hell yeah.
• 10:25
SPEAKER_00: So um I wasn't really doing it for a lot of paid stuff.
• 10:28
SPEAKER_00: Uh and then it was when I love that.
• 10:31
SPEAKER_00: Then it was it got to the point where I'm like, okay, maybe I should try to start like getting more gigs, getting some more stuff.
• 10:38
SPEAKER_00: Um, and then I was like, okay, let me make a like let me make my personal company.
• 10:41
SPEAKER_00: So I was gonna originally make just like how everybody usually does, just like a my name, photography, you know, LLC, stuff like that.
• 10:48
SPEAKER_00: And I had gotten uh involved in this another entrepreneur group and everything, and there's you know, a lot of lot of they would have a lot of speakers and everything.
• 10:57
SPEAKER_00: And there was one speaker, I forget his name, but I know I have it written down somewhere, I gotta go find it.
• 11:02
SPEAKER_00: Uh, but he said it's not about how much money you can make, it's about how many people you can help.
• 11:08
SPEAKER_02: Ooh who's a lift off right there.
• 11:11
  SPEAKER_00: Let's go.
• 11:12
SPEAKER_00: And it was crazy because like I'm not gonna lie, I was very, very like money motivated.
• 11:17
SPEAKER_00: I if you ask a lot of my friends back in-shot.
• 11:19
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like back in the like in the old days, a lot of people would ask me, like, oh, why do you do this?
• 11:22
SPEAKER_00: I'm like, straight up, just money.
• 11:24
SPEAKER_00: Like, I just want money.
• 11:25
SPEAKER_00: Like, I want to be able to get everything I want.
• 11:27
  SPEAKER_00: I want, you know.
• 11:28
  SPEAKER_00: Yep.
• 11:28
SPEAKER_00: Greed was was was was definitely a uh a thing that I uh fell victim to.
• 11:33
SPEAKER_00: But when I when I heard that man say, you know, it's not about how much you can make, so how many people you can help, I uh I like stopped and like it hit it hit something in me, like it struck a chord in me, and I thought, that that's so true.
• 11:45
SPEAKER_00: Like, what's the point of making hundreds or millions or whatever if the people I surround myself with can't also be a part of that?
• 11:54
SPEAKER_00: Like, or if like I go somewhere and I realize there's somebody who wants to do the same thing as me, but they they can't, you know.
• 12:00
SPEAKER_00: I'm like, so that's when I switched my ideas from just having a personal photography business to what I have now, which is like a media company production slash rental, which is like specifically aimed at helping the community, not just myself or you know, just anybody who needs it, because a lot of other uh people in the media industry or photographers or upcoming videographers, they know that it is hard.
• 12:24
SPEAKER_00: It's hard to land a gig, it's hard to like try to convince somebody that your work is worth it for them to come work with you, uh, you know, and like a lot of people they struggle with like just word of mouth or um just like you know, doing the whole my work has to speak for itself and everything, you know.
• 12:39
SPEAKER_00: Um, so like that's also like that's that's a big barrier that everybody has to like deal with, you know, trying to actually get the jobs, land the deals and everything.
• 12:47
SPEAKER_00: Um, but another huge one that people kind of don't think about because like it's in everybody's mind, obviously, like the the expensive, the the expenses of the gear, like the cost and everything.
• 12:57
SPEAKER_00: Like everybody knows that's a that's a struggle, but like they don't really think much of it because they're like, oh, you know, that's just everything, that's something everybody has to deal with, you know.
• 13:04
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, um, even if you go to like rental stuff.
• 13:06
SPEAKER_00: Like we have a few rental companies here in Arizona already, but you know, they all follow the same scheme.
• 13:11
SPEAKER_00: Like, you know, the daily rates aren't necessarily that high, but like they have deposit fee that you had to do, which is either like the full cost or half the cost of the camera.
• 13:20
SPEAKER_00: And like at that point, people are just like, I might as well just save up and buy the camera, then, or yeah, I might, you know, I can't afford that three thousand dollar deposit fee, so there's nothing you do.
• 13:28
SPEAKER_00: Um, so you know, that's something I'm trying to help out with with uh when like my rentals are fully gone, like you don't have to worry about that stuff because I want to be able to help out as many people as possible so they can break through that barrier so they can get that gear, get that experience, and then use that experience to have a better chance of you know actually finding gigs and stuff and finding people to work with.
• 13:46
  SPEAKER_03: I love that.
• 13:47
  SPEAKER_03: I love that.
• 13:48
SPEAKER_03: Um so I'm gonna speak to that point, but before I want to go back to what you just said.
• 13:52
SPEAKER_03: I love that quote of serving people first.
• 13:56
SPEAKER_03: And once you have that type of like shift like you did, it's beautiful because you know, we the tell the tell of Mr.
• 14:05
  SPEAKER_03: Scrooge, right?
• 14:06
  SPEAKER_03: Let's go to Mr.
• 14:07
SPEAKER_03: Scrooge, you know, he just wanted to hoard all this money for himself, and then he had nobody.
• 14:12
SPEAKER_03: And and in life, people forget what you said and did, but they won't forget the way you made them feel.
• 14:17
SPEAKER_03: And also legacy is emotion because with emotion becomes motion.
• 14:23
SPEAKER_03: And and when you show up for people, you go the extra mile, like this show, we're not monetized, we're not making no money, right?
• 14:31
SPEAKER_03: All the equipment, everything that we have, uh thanks to lift-off agent and us being a service to a real estate community.
• 14:36
SPEAKER_03: And then this man here came to the lift, uh came to the last GTR event, and he's been to multiple and did what he did and brought his equipment and showed up and sent over the pictures, and like we got some sick pictures of like the GTR next to that white van with the freaking all the chicks and stuff, like taking pictures and whatever.
• 14:54
SPEAKER_03: And like that's just because he wanted to, and then now there's this transfer of like, hey, dude, let's get you on the lift-off experience.
• 15:00
SPEAKER_03: We scheduled this months back so we could do something to help out.
• 15:04
SPEAKER_03: And you know, now this is gonna be cut cut up short form.
• 15:07
SPEAKER_03: We have our long form.
• 15:08
SPEAKER_03: I can get you the copy, you can put it out there as well.
• 15:10
SPEAKER_03: Um, and the biggest thing that I'm thinking, as far as for viewers and listeners out there, and the intention of this podcast is like giving me giving you more brand awareness so people can then say, Hey, you know, how can I help?
• 15:22
  SPEAKER_03: What can I do?
• 15:24
SPEAKER_03: Uh, I want to go ahead and say uh big shout out, God bless.
• 15:27
SPEAKER_03: I didn't really follow him until the very, very end after he passed away, Oliver Tree.
• 15:31
SPEAKER_03: And he took all of his money and he put it in an organization for baby geniuses to be able to help.
• 15:38
SPEAKER_03: And so all his money went into this organization.
• 15:40
SPEAKER_03: You could donate, and he just wants to help, kind of like what you're doing, in a sense, with like recording artists and people that want to make music.
• 15:47
SPEAKER_03: So, so for the viewers and listeners, give them some context.
• 15:50
SPEAKER_03: Where are you at currently rent now with equipment that you have?
• 15:53
SPEAKER_03: What's the vision with the equipment that you want to have?
• 15:56
SPEAKER_03: Are you currently already renting?
• 15:57
SPEAKER_03: You know, how much is it in your mind to rent something now and what's the deposit look like?
• 16:02
  SPEAKER_03: Let's let's give them some context.
• 16:04
SPEAKER_00: Well, where the company is right now, we're still very in the early stages and everything.
• 16:08
SPEAKER_00: So we're mostly just doing production work to try to generate revenue and everything, uh you know, build business uh credibility and everything so that we can get the loans to get all the rental gear and everything.
• 16:18
  SPEAKER_00: Why he's here.
• 16:18
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 16:19
SPEAKER_00: Um, because you know, I want to be able to when I start the rentals, I want to be able to like start at like a full launch where I could help out as many people like immediately as possible.
• 16:28
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 16:29
SPEAKER_00: So I'm holding back on the rentals because right now I could probably like grab like maybe like you know, like five or seven cameras, you know.
• 16:34
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 16:35
SPEAKER_00: And I can help out a few people, but I want to get it to where I could get like at least like 30 cameras or something.
• 16:39
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 16:39
SPEAKER_00: So like I can help out people in all different things, and also I need the lenses and all that other stuff.
• 16:43
SPEAKER_00: Like people the people know that you know the cameras, camera gears, it racks up quickly and everything.
• 16:48
SPEAKER_00: But I want to make sure that I can provide a service to the you know, to the valley and and uh and people of Arizona uh right now as like as best as possible from the start.
• 16:58
SPEAKER_00: I don't want people to yeah, I don't want people to come to me and be like, oh, I wish you had this, I wish you had this.
• 17:01
SPEAKER_00: I want them to come to me like, oh my god, I can't believe you have this and this.
• 17:04
  SPEAKER_00: Like that's amazing.
• 17:05
SPEAKER_00: Red cameras, different mics, different lenses, things.
• 17:08
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 17:08
SPEAKER_00: So the rentals are that's a little bit farther off in the future and everything.
• 17:11
SPEAKER_00: I'm doing everything I can to try to, you know, expedite it, speed it up, you know, get it here as soon as possible.
• 17:16
SPEAKER_03: So tell us a little bit more though, like, you know, let's just imagine okay, it was here tomorrow.
• 17:21
SPEAKER_03: Like, what's the pricing look like?
• 17:23
SPEAKER_03: Give us some basic understanding of how you would differ, deposit, stuff like that, with imagine if you already had it all.
• 17:29
SPEAKER_00: Well, the one the biggest thing that my company will differ from any other rentals, um, which is the part that I had had to work on the most with uh other companies and like insurance, was that we'll have no deposits.
• 17:39
  SPEAKER_03: Whoa, no deposits.
• 17:42
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, no deposits.
• 17:43
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 17:43
SPEAKER_00: And that's uh when I talk to other um, I've talked to a lot of like bankers and uh and other people, lenders and other uh entrepreneurs and um business associates and stuff, uh they're like, how are you gonna do that?
• 17:56
  SPEAKER_00: Like, what?
• 17:56
SPEAKER_00: Like that, like that's crazy.
• 17:58
SPEAKER_00: And like, and then like I was like, oh, I already talked to the insurance people.
• 18:01
SPEAKER_00: I like figured out the best ways to be able to like leverage no deposits with other security measures and all the other stuff.
• 18:09
SPEAKER_00: A lot of other stuff that behind behind the scenes that I can't actually say or anything.
• 18:13
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 18:14
SPEAKER_00: Um uh and they're like, that's insane.
• 18:16
  SPEAKER_00: Like that's that's that's crazy.
• 18:18
SPEAKER_00: Like that that makes their your company like like beyond anybody else.
• 18:22
SPEAKER_00: Because like it's something anybody can do.
• 18:23
SPEAKER_00: Like a lot of people be like, Well, what makes you different?
• 18:25
SPEAKER_00: Like, what makes it that nobody else can do this?
• 18:27
SPEAKER_00: And the truth is anybody could do what I do, yep, or what I had planned, or what I had planned doing.
• 18:31
SPEAKER_00: It's just that not a lot of people want to take that extra step.
• 18:35
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you know, because obviously, you know, rental company just yeah, deposits daily, daily rates, boom, set.
• 18:40
SPEAKER_00: But to do no deposits and low daily rates also, there's a lot of extra steps you had to do, a lot of other procedures and liability causes that you need to figure out, settle and everything.
• 18:52
SPEAKER_00: Interesting to be able to like do that while the business will still be, you know, you had to be profitable, obviously.
• 18:57
SPEAKER_00: You had to, yeah, you know, I had to be able to put back into the company.
• 18:59
SPEAKER_00: That's the one big thing, too, is I want to make sure that as the company goes, I could add more stuff.
• 19:04
SPEAKER_00: When people are like, oh, we're because camera gears drops every single year, like new stuff, new equipment, right?
• 19:09
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 19:09
SPEAKER_00: I want to be able to make sure that I could provide that stuff to the community.
• 19:12
SPEAKER_00: So yeah, I had to be profitable to be buying new gear and new stuff and everything.
• 19:16
SPEAKER_00: So that's the big difference.
• 19:18
SPEAKER_00: Uh, is that you know, no deposits and then the daily fees, the daily rates will be extremely low.
• 19:23
SPEAKER_00: I'm trying to keep everything below um like$100 a day, even lower than that.
• 19:28
  SPEAKER_00: Wow.
• 19:28
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, there's some gear, like I have equations and stuff mapped out for everything just to make sure everything is good.
• 19:34
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 19:34
SPEAKER_00: And there's some gear that you can get, and it's only like$10 a day.
• 19:38
  SPEAKER_00: Wow.
• 19:38
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 19:39
  SPEAKER_00: Wow, that's amazing.
• 19:40
SPEAKER_03: No, just want to put it out there because depending on the show, I want to go deeper into a little bit of uh this is gonna be welcome to our mastermind.
• 19:50
SPEAKER_03: When a mastermind this real quick because there's a couple of things that come to mind.
• 19:53
SPEAKER_03: First and foremost, anyone who's using and listening, y'all want to get involved, the man's Instagram's down below, contact information, email, teams already put that on there.
• 20:03
SPEAKER_03: Reach out because I can either A see an investor who potentially might want to invest, and then be able to also give back and help.
• 20:10
SPEAKER_03: Uh, if someone's watching, you have a media, filming, artistic background, maybe you already uh retired, you're sitting on a nest egg, you want to do something to give back to the community, whether it's Phoenix or the surrounding areas, boom.
• 20:25
  SPEAKER_03: Number one.
• 20:26
SPEAKER_03: Number two, uh I have an idea for you.
• 20:29
SPEAKER_03: And this is where I get my uh get my rocks off here.
• 20:34
  SPEAKER_03: I love consulting.
• 20:35
SPEAKER_03: This is so my my day job is consulting with lifted off agent with real estate professionals, and I go through that process.
• 20:41
SPEAKER_03: Now, imagine we come up with a concept and a business model where we do something with crowdfunding, whether it's Indiegogo or um uh what is the other one?
• 20:52
SPEAKER_03: So it's Indiegogo, Kickstarter, and you do something where you put out a campaign and you put this out to inspiring people that are artists, that are photographers, that are videographers, that are people in the car world.
• 21:06
SPEAKER_03: And imagine you were to you were able to then have them all buy into your model, which gives them equity within your organization.
• 21:16
SPEAKER_03: And the equity could just be them investing maybe$100,$200, whatever.
• 21:21
SPEAKER_03: It's a nominal amount, but you give them credit based off of rental credit.
• 21:27
SPEAKER_03: So then they can have rental credit throughout the year that is gonna give them the ability to then turn around and be able to rent from you.
• 21:34
SPEAKER_03: So up front, you may not have all the equipment, but you get the investment, and then that comes mature after three or six months when you get the rest of your money.
• 21:43
SPEAKER_03: You put down how much you need to have, and then basically they start investing in, you start buying, you have your website up, they start renting, and then boom, you're off to the races tomorrow.
• 21:53
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's it.
• 21:54
  SPEAKER_00: That's hypothetically.
• 21:55
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it might not be tomorrow, but I'm just saying in general, you know, the thing that holds us back.
• 22:00
SPEAKER_03: is we think that we need we need if this then that.
• 22:02
SPEAKER_03: We think that, oh, well, we I need to bring in enough equity or enough money or enough whatever because you're doing what you're doing.
• 22:08
SPEAKER_03: And we're going to get into the next story about your media company, what you're currently doing to pay the bills and the gigs that you're currently getting.
• 22:14
SPEAKER_03: And we're going to get into his car, right?
• 22:17
SPEAKER_03: So you have your current equipment, the upkeep on that, then you have the business that you're doing currently and trying to save for the rentals opportunity.
• 22:25
SPEAKER_03: And then you have a car that is that is giving you negative negative equity because you got to invest back into that to make sure things are running properly, right?
• 22:33
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 22:33
SPEAKER_03: So if you were to already put it out there, which we're doing right now, you could leverage this opportunity.
• 22:39
SPEAKER_03: We can cut this up.
• 22:40
SPEAKER_03: We could do something with this right now.
• 22:42
SPEAKER_03: You can set up an Indiegogo or GoFundMe account, what have you, and be able to put it out to the community.
• 22:48
SPEAKER_03: And then you can potentially even use Claude and potentially have reach out to 25 Instagrams a day, reach out to 50 LinkS a day of people across the country that want to invest into this opportunity or just people here in Arizona.
• 23:05
SPEAKER_00: That is a a really good idea and that is something like I like thought about for like a quick second.
• 23:10
  SPEAKER_00: Do you?
• 23:11
SPEAKER_00: Yeah I think about but like I think it's something I need to get over because like that is of course like anybody be like of course yeah go do that man.
• 23:17
SPEAKER_00: Like why are you not taking this advice?
• 23:18
SPEAKER_00: Go do that right and it's it's wonderful advice and I love it's really good for me to keep on hearing that over and over again because it'll probably push me to actually do it.
• 23:25
SPEAKER_00: Someone upstairs is like bro yeah because David's going on because uh there's an issue I have where I'm just like I'm like I gotta do this by myself.
• 23:33
SPEAKER_00: Like I can't I don't I shouldn't have to rely on other people to be able to do this.
• 23:36
SPEAKER_00: Like I want to help other people I can't ask for help.
• 23:39
SPEAKER_00: But like that doesn't really make any sense like logically like why not like other people want to help out too though exactly like why are you why are you making it more difficult on yourself?
• 23:47
SPEAKER_00: Yeah like and like there's a part of me that obviously is saying that in my head but then there's another part where like no I gotta I gotta do it myself I gotta be that solo entrepreneur that like build up from nothing that to to something you know yeah put it this way think about like this what if I was like oh yeah my next car event and I owned all the cars and no one else bought a car.
• 24:06
  SPEAKER_03: That's true.
• 24:07
SPEAKER_03: It's like boring yeah there's no contrast there's no there's no no one else you know what I'm saying so I think so this is this is what comes up for me and uh take it for the grain of salt and I hope this helps you is that we get so caught up in the ego right the ego is like I gotta do it myself.
• 24:23
SPEAKER_03: I have something to prove I have the chip on like before you said it was about the money now you're like it's about being of service but you don't want to collaborate with other people that also want to be of service because you want to do it yourself, which is hey that's admirable.
• 24:35
  SPEAKER_03: That's awesome.
• 24:35
SPEAKER_03: I hey I I appreciate that I'm just thinking hey what would be even next level to what you're saying is like collectively coming together helping each other like I have an idea for a warehouse collective.
• 24:46
SPEAKER_03: I'm like cool what if I and I'm not doing this either so I'm right there with you what if I did a crowdfunding we bought land we build a warehouse car court car storage right super dope entrepreneur hangout car storage podcast section uh photography videography area short form content my wife could IRT company in there we could do maybe some like some like red light panels in there or if we want to do like coal plunges or some shit like it's 117 outside we go to the cool warehouse collective place.
• 25:15
SPEAKER_03: Now I haven't done that my excuse is is that I'm building a multi-million dollar company with lift off agent plus I have this podcast plus I have I have two podcasts and social and you know multiple cars um I just bought another one yesterday so so it's like that's my excuse but yeah I mean it's when you're ready I guess yeah it is yeah and the good thing about that though is that's something I could do like anytime too.
• 25:38
SPEAKER_00: Yeah and but like it's definitely something I should do sooner than later though.
• 25:41
SPEAKER_00: Because you don't even know who'd be interested.
• 25:42
SPEAKER_03: Exactly you might put it out there to be nobody.
• 25:44
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 25:44
SPEAKER_03: And then you might just be like okay see I'm right.
• 25:47
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 25:48
SPEAKER_00: It the funny thing though is like I feel like because I I go to a lot of events and like I tell I I word of mouth it kind of like I I'll go talk about my business to people to see the interest in the community.
• 25:58
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 25:59
SPEAKER_00: And through the I think I it's like out of like a hundred people I've talked to now there hasn't been a single person who hasn't said that they would like love this company.
• 26:09
SPEAKER_00: They're like oh dude that's amazing like I wish there's people who are like I like I'll ask like oh have you ever rental I have ever rent and like oh no like you know it's too expensive.
• 26:16
SPEAKER_00: And I tell them I would come but like dude I would totally like I would totally do that.
• 26:19
SPEAKER_00: So like I know that there's tons of approval and like there's like demand for it already.
• 26:25
SPEAKER_00: Exactly so like I feel like if I if I did what you said like it would it would be maybe not super explosive but there definitely be something you know so that's I mean I love guerrilla marketing and so um imagine the car um show that comes up for me is AZ track stars.
• 26:44
SPEAKER_03: You go to one of their events and you talk to me and a few other friends who's down you print some flyers right I mean I got a fucking printer right there where I can print 200 flyers uh you print some flyers and you go flyer every single one of those 250 or 300 cars and you just have your mission statement look into crowdfund this opportunity for rental ever wanted to do videography, photography, have fun with a cool camera and have it not cost an arm or a leg or know someone that is an inspiring person in the field that needs to potentially get a camera scan the QR code.
• 27:28
SPEAKER_03: Boom goes to a landing page hey David here just wanted to go ahead and uh you probably saw the flyer this is who I am this is my story this is me on the lift off experience you want to watch two hour podcasts how all this was incubated I would love to be able to uh you know crowdfund this opportunity give you rentals time you got a nephew you got a niece you got someone that wants to get into this field right if you invest 50 bucks you get this much time a hundred bucks you get this much time 200 bucks this much time and like the biggest amount they can invest is like 500 bucks yeah and then you say the goal's 15 20 30 grand for you to get enough equipment times however many rentals that you need and have your insurance and everything else bro you could probably pick up 50 to 100 grand within the next I don't know six months and you could be out for the races.
• 28:14
SPEAKER_00: Yeah that'd be that would be insane I I don't know bro that that no that's that's that's that's great and that you know and that's something I could definitely do.
• 28:22
SPEAKER_00: Like you know what I'm saying and it's not like film that shit bro it's not even something crazy like it's not like a oh this is a crazy like idea like it's going no like yeah you're right like find out a flyer a bunch of flyers like I said there's 20 events every single weekend in Arizona if you're gonna go to the event anyways and you're already gonna film yeah what's the big deal handing out a flyer that has your little admission statement on with the QR code you know what I'm saying and then they watch some shit and then all it is it has to be simple enough or over simple I um simplified where it's just like dare you to scan it.
• 28:51
SPEAKER_03: Yeah they fucking scan it and it's a video view.
• 28:54
SPEAKER_03: Oh congratulations you scanned that QR code you know what I'm saying like you probably saw me at a show here's some of my work show a bunch of pictures real quick oh shit yeah I've seen that car oh shit you know people buy from someone they know like and trust as soon as they build that no like trust they see a car that automatically emotional response psychologically here this is psych psychology and then boom they're automatically in you catch them for the next two three minutes boom now you're off to the races you're good to go and and then you know what I'm saying?
• 29:25
SPEAKER_03: Yeah that is so true that is so true it's what I do for a living yeah I know you're great at it man thanks bro I appreciate you my guy I appreciate you but like you know I just feel like as as as we collectively are here to serve I would be doing you a disservice and I'd be doing a disservice of my higher power if I didn't share this with you.
• 29:44
SPEAKER_03: And I thank you for that because this is me being in my alignment and I thank you too.
• 29:48
SPEAKER_03: I appreciate you my guy yeah so so that's why it's just like we talked about earlier it's not about the money right you came to the GTR event and I could have been like because they say the seven triggers to yes states if you do something for someone else not expecting something in return what?
• 30:03
SPEAKER_03: Well then now that person feels obligated.
• 30:05
SPEAKER_03: And so I haven't done anything in return just yet not that I felt obligated to but I felt like here's my opportunity to repay you back without needing to give you one of the hundred dollars that's on the ground by the way if you've been seeing this this is movie prop money I just this is like 2000 I got another 10 over there's like 30 plus thousand around us and I just like threw it in the air hit the fan and I just said fuck it.
• 30:26
SPEAKER_03: It's the most real movie prop money I've ever seen so far.
• 30:29
SPEAKER_03: It's too far to grab anything.
• 30:32
SPEAKER_03: But uh but yeah so I hope that helps man and and whatever I could do um getting close to putting the the quotes done mastermind yeah I go as far west as what's the there's this is why your car hates you I can't wait to get to the car part brother we'll get into that story soon.
• 30:48
SPEAKER_00: Uh where's the farthest uh Tonopah I didn't even know Tonopah was a city really or a town or or Arlington I didn't even know that was a place in Arizona.
• 30:55
SPEAKER_00: How far is that from here?
• 30:57
SPEAKER_00: It's like an hour and a half hour and a half from Gilbert just actually hour and a half from it's like two hours from here.
• 31:03
SPEAKER_03: Interesting interesting so you go from wildlife traveling portraits photos to car content to real estate with an actual what LLC or something?
• 31:16
SPEAKER_00: Yeah so yeah how how real estate like how'd you get into that I just I was just you know trying to figure out ways to I could generate more money for the business and everything.
• 31:25
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 31:26
SPEAKER_00: Um so you know just looking at any type of avenue really since it's a production company you know we're not limited to you know anything um so and I was like real estate's booming right now as you know you know yeah yeah interesting tons of and what did you do like Instagram reach out phone calls emails how you how do you yeah uh a lot of a lot of a lot of TikTok and Instagram okay just reaching out or like yeah because agents are loving the you know uh short form uh content for like you know showing houses and everything not our target demographic I'm just being real I don't work with those agents no I no dis no disrespect we might but I typically don't yeah so you know that type of stuff's blowing up so just reaching out to a bunch of people showing them my my work uh showing that I could do film and everything and you know I go work with them do a couple things I do a lot of also just like um basic listing photos okay the stuff you'll see on Zillow and Redfin and stuff.
• 32:16
SPEAKER_00: Nice I take those type of photos also and then we we of course we you know we do production work of anybody who just like wants some help like doing short films or other photographers are like oh it would be really great if I could have like a second person with me.
• 32:28
SPEAKER_00: So we do a lot of like the production stuff right now is just like a lot of crew help type stuff like you know like or like how when I was with your rally and stuff um so other people who do similar stuff like oh they need like a photographer or videographer for this so just any any way we can really help out the community kind of like you know just to help you know generate some more revenue and everything.
• 32:48
SPEAKER_00: And then and then anybody who just needs help with like filming stuff like or like we have a creative consultant so anybody who needs help like understanding like the logistics or trying to figure out like script or like location or you know sets set design and stuff like that we help out with that too a little bit that's so like everything anything anything like a production would really have we try our best to help out with um you know editing and everything too we we just I there's been times where I've just done edits for people or help them out with edits.
• 33:17
SPEAKER_00: As we go so when you do work with me is not just like oh yeah here we do the service now we're out helped uh help somebody like learn how to do their own like real estate photography and everything.
• 33:27
SPEAKER_00: Nice somebody who was uh I had a friend they uh it was a couple and they are creating their own like automation company help other companies and I trained them how to do real estate fully by themselves so like now they don't need my service anymore but like now I know I've helped them so now they can go and help tons of other people too so that's another another thing too it's not just like um you know and a lot of people be like that's a terrible business idea why are you why you're not keeping retainers why are you not you know and sure you're you're right I'm not gonna say not gonna lie you know if somebody would be like it is kind of stupid teaching your uh clientele and stuff how to do it by themselves so then you lose a client but another thing like you know serving people it's yeah you know sure I could I could have kept them and you know kept on charging them you know but I think it's a lot better and a lot more you know it'd be a disservice to like myself and everything and like what I'm striving to do to you know keep on trying to milk somebody for money you know yeah it's sure it's a lot better that I can pass on my knowledge and my experience to somebody else because yeah you know we you were talking about earlier about legacy and stuff and like sure I can go and I could go and try to become one of the greatest photographers of all time.
• 34:35
SPEAKER_00: I I could go try to like go take photos of like places people have never seen or like super hard to reach places or find exotic animals that like once in a lifetime photo right I could try to do that.
• 34:46
SPEAKER_00: And those photos would live on and sure they would live on forever but like eventually people be like we're not looking at that stuff anymore you know like now there's new people.
• 34:53
SPEAKER_00: Yeah but now I can you know what I can do with my legacy is teach other people and then even if I'm gone then the lessons I've taught the experiences that I've passed on those people will take them and also pass them on to somebody else.
• 35:04
SPEAKER_00: Yeah so now I'm helping out way more people rather than just you know being known for taking that really cool photo.
• 35:11
SPEAKER_03: Yeah no I absolutely love that I think that's uh definitely a lift off moment I was with uh an agent last week and she is on YouTube we primarily look at a lot of agents that are on YouTube that are already doing kind of this passive prospecting so kinda they are so Gilbert Arizona schools parks restaurants things to do all that stuff so that way they can do kind of what you're talking about like entertained add no like and trust from their past efforts educating people on the area because I was in California went on to Google did some research found a guy who was showing me Tempe and all these different locations of where to live and I picked Gilbert and it's it I mean the guy made me he doesn't even know like over 300 000 equity in this house and it's been an amazing location had some amazing car events and so this agent she just spent$5,000 with another company on a website took six months to get done it only takes us a month yeah get a site done six weeks top not six months and um not trying to stab uh if you're watching love you um so long story short it's like dude I told her I said you probably don't want to invest another$5,000 website and she has a team and I we have a team too and we do the editing and we do the thumbnail type stuff.
• 36:26
SPEAKER_03: And she already had our team and I told her I said I said with all due respect I said you only know what you know and take note everyone who's watching who wants to hire a VA or someone in the Philippines the person you hire in the Philippines if they're not skilled labor because you're gonna pay a price for that that's that's not that's not five dollars an hour people right you both don't know what you're doing so it's the blind leading the blind yeah you're not really getting anywhere it's like it's like two two tires roll drive car no fucking tread and you're just spinning right and so and then one has a little bit more tread so that catches a little bit more but what happens is is that if it's the blind leading the blind then you as an agent or business owner that hire the VA is like spending this money and you're like then needing to like SOPs standard operat procedures key performance indicators meeting the agents scratching your head or your team scratching your head why isn't this working so then you're you're meeting your clients transacting paying these VAs learning yourself and then teaching these VAs from stuff that you don't understand.
• 37:22
SPEAKER_03: So I gave her all the knowledge and at liftoffagent.com and Earth Resources we have all these free resources and guides so they can download them.
• 37:29
SPEAKER_03: And I and I called her yesterday and she's like yeah you know I I gave all the information to my team thank you so much I appreciate you we're probably six months out before we'll do anything to a year I gotta see if this website can work for me and I respected it but we walked away cordial which was great.
• 37:44
SPEAKER_03: Now I will say um do you mind if I give you some feedback?
• 37:48
SPEAKER_03: Oh yeah go ahead okay cool I'm feedback off of love um end quotes on the last mastermind start quotes next mastermind uh have some fun here come on y'all um so when you think about the process of starting a business and I'm just telling you this because I made these fucking same things these same mistakes and I don't even say the mistakes the same learning experiences is we spread ourselves too thin too quick.
• 38:11
SPEAKER_03: We're trying to do all these things because we want to help we want to be of service all the stuff right so I had um I had a I had S E productions uh parties and promotions I had uh PA Inc Personal Assistance Incorporated dog walking cleaning services driving people to the airport selling shit on freaking line for friends um I was slanging weed and all that stuff this was in my 20s right uh all this stuff and so I had all these things but I found myself get to a point where I was just like burnt the fuck out I literally like parties promotions I said ex nay that SNE productions and video X nay that I went all the way down to the number one focus with personal assistance that now it's lift off agent.
• 38:54
SPEAKER_03: So to get to the point it's like if you could then say you want to work with an agent and you say your price and they say it's too much and then you say hey do you want to do it on your own and they say yes well you already have a course you charge them for the course so it's a hundred bucks fifty bucks whatever make it nominal because you you build it once you send it sell it empty many and then that way you could easily just be like hey I got a course on short form production video time frame where to film clean your lens and have a you know DJ mic whatever and then sell to them because in that way you still make 50 or 100 bucks yeah and it's not hard to go into Canva and go into Google Drive and write everything up throw in some pictures go to chat grammar spelling punctuation boom put it into freaking uh Canva get your guide built and then gate it behind whatever click funnels or a website that you currently have and then just say hey I'm gonna send you a link as soon as you make the payment of 50 bucks then you can download the guide and then it has everything in it and then you could even throw up some video tutorials within the video that they can click and only click within the guide that goes to unlisted videos on YouTube.
• 40:13
  SPEAKER_00: That's what we do.
• 40:14
  SPEAKER_00: That's smart.
• 40:14
SPEAKER_00: I I that hey I got you other people when you log into this too that's that's actually really smart.
• 40:20
SPEAKER_03: I got you and then from there you're off to the races because then that way you're still doing what you're doing and it's about legacy right and you're still serving and it's not so much about the money it's just that you need to maximize every opportunity that you have and this might not be retent retainer this isn't MMR this isn't monthly reoccurring revenue situation but it does give you an opportunity to be able to give them something that they can refer back to because as much as you give people knowledge the problem is is that when you go to an event you watch a podcast newsflash this is you y'all you're only gonna remember 10% yeah you gotta how many times have you read a book and you're like oh I didn't even know that was in there yeah I I missed that whole part yeah because you were fucking GPS in the car going to an appointment you're getting off the freeway you didn't know which way you needed to turn and you you didn't listen to that part.
• 41:10
SPEAKER_03: You know so that's why I think that like people get caught up in like they want to do all the things but I can already see some holes in the colander as we fill them with these masterminds on the lift off experience.
• 41:22
SPEAKER_03: I hope y'all are getting some freaking feedback here and some good freaking things to think about where we start filling these holes bro whether you do the hey crowdfunding for the rental thing or you put together you can make a you can make two three courses this weekend bro and just gate that shit and charge$59.99 or a nominal fee$100 whatever you know oh you don't want to pay$350 for this shoot 500 bucks for this shoot for an elaborate video walk to tour and you want to do it yourself?
• 41:51
SPEAKER_03: Well you can do all of them yourself until you get enough money to be able to do your own because this isn't your listing.
• 41:56
SPEAKER_03: You're just a freaking buyer's agent yeah it's gonna cost you 100 bucks and then once it does work out well for you then I'm here to be of service and then they will hire you bro I have clients right now that are going from startup at a it was$3600 that's$500 startup cost$200 a month from$200 a month to$500 a month I got clients going from$200 a month I think it was just last week to$2500 a month from$200 a month.
• 42:24
SPEAKER_03: So when you think about that Alex Tramosi with all due respect and what the fuck you're talking about I'm joking.
• 42:29
SPEAKER_03: He's amazing but he always says go for the high ticket first don't go for the lower item because it's harder to go from low to high newsflash I do that I do exactly what we're told not to do because what I learned was is that if you could build a no like and trust and if you could truly serve and support someone from the beginning stages when they're an infant like I think about babies think about children Alex is not a dad I have a seven year old that helps.
• 42:56
SPEAKER_03: So and you go from that perspective and then you you take the time to nurture them and they go from 200 a month to$500 a month because they go from website to video to blog because they're on YouTube.
• 43:08
SPEAKER_03: And then they go into social promotion ramp up to listing promotion to us doing thumbnail copy because they're doing their own editing and filming.
• 43:18
SPEAKER_03: Then they want to offload everything where all they have to do is film and we do the edits video to blog social everything boom no brainer.
• 43:27
SPEAKER_03: I'm talking to two people right now who want to do that exact same formula with a 90% retention almost a hundred percent no cancellation we were almost at a hundred thousand MMR right now.
• 43:40
SPEAKER_03: That's amazing monthly lift off agent zero cancellation okay and I know that's not a hundred million dollars a hundred and fifty million three hundred million dollars in a weekend that Alex Mosey did and he spent a long time to do that and I hats off I don't have a hat right now sorry dude but hats off that's amazing I'm just giving contrast for contract needs to be because Because people forget that we and our mind have the ability to create and to have and to do whatever you want to do.
• 44:10
  SPEAKER_03: And he's done what he's done.
• 44:11
SPEAKER_03: And he has a segment of people that follow that ideology.
• 44:14
SPEAKER_03: I just don't follow that ideology because I don't believe that is what needs to be focused on, especially like the high pressure sales, the long-term commitment, contract bullshit.
• 44:23
  SPEAKER_03: None of that.
• 44:24
SPEAKER_03: I don't do any of that shit.
• 44:25
  SPEAKER_03: None of it, bro.
• 44:26
SPEAKER_03: I'll let someone walk away and then a week later reach and talk to them again.
• 44:29
  SPEAKER_03: I had a lady this week.
• 44:31
SPEAKER_03: I said, go use the other company.
• 44:33
SPEAKER_03: I don't want to work with you.
• 44:34
  SPEAKER_03: What do people want?
• 44:35
  SPEAKER_03: What they can't have.
• 44:37
SPEAKER_03: She wanted me to cut my fees because she wanted to go work with luxury presents and they're going to cut their fees because they're locked you into a year contract because they have VC funders and they want to make sure that they have a certain amount of MMR for 12 months guaranteed.
• 44:50
  SPEAKER_03: Well, fuck yourself.
• 44:52
  SPEAKER_03: Sorry.
• 44:52
  SPEAKER_03: I'm not sorry.
• 44:53
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 44:53
  SPEAKER_03: Lock people into garbage.
• 44:55
  SPEAKER_03: I don't lock anyone into anything.
• 44:56
  SPEAKER_00: No, don't.
• 44:57
SPEAKER_03: She signed up$3,600, boom, old pricing on Monday.
• 45:01
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 45:01
  SPEAKER_03: $500 a month, reoccurring.
• 45:03
SPEAKER_03: So, so, so that's a prime example of like be your true authentic self, come from a service first.
• 45:09
SPEAKER_03: But if you put more parameters around you and bumpers, and then you fill the holes in the colander, you're going to give yourself so much more time work-life balance.
• 45:17
SPEAKER_03: And if you tell the clients that are not in alignment with you to go fuck themselves, I'm not saying that really, but I'm just saying like tell them like this isn't going to be a good fit.
• 45:24
SPEAKER_03: And this is the reason why.
• 45:25
SPEAKER_03: Because who here, right, has talked to someone on the phone or bent over backwards because you think you need to make that paycheck because you have your rent coming up, but you're going to sacrifice your own sanity and being happy because you want a fucking dollar.
• 45:36
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 45:37
SPEAKER_03: No, I go live with your parents.
• 45:38
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 45:39
SPEAKER_00: I've I've been in those situations and I've I've uh experienced them.
• 45:42
SPEAKER_00: And another thing is like with my company, since I'm so like for the community and not about like the money and everything, the with my team and everything, I told I told them every single person, every single time I bring somebody on my team, I'm like, if I ever look like I'm doing something only for the money, let me know.
• 45:58
  SPEAKER_00: Yep.
• 45:58
SPEAKER_00: Like, yep, don't, don't like be like, oh, it's his company, let him do what he's doing.
• 46:03
SPEAKER_00: No, like if we if I ever switch my mentality from we're helping out people to like, oh, we're I'm only doing this for money again, yeah, let me know.
• 46:10
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 46:10
SPEAKER_00: Because we need to, I need to stay with just providing a service and everything.
• 46:14
SPEAKER_00: There's been people who were like, oh yeah, do this and this and this, and like I'll pay you more and blase blase.
• 46:19
SPEAKER_00: And like, and I'm like, in my head, like initially I'm like, that's really good money.
• 46:23
  SPEAKER_00: Like that.
• 46:24
SPEAKER_00: But then I'm like, but that's not my philosophy though.
• 46:26
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 46:27
SPEAKER_00: You know, that that would be me completely changing what my company's meant for.
• 46:31
  SPEAKER_00: Yep.
• 46:32
SPEAKER_00: And and again, we're in the very early stages of my company.
• 46:35
SPEAKER_00: Um, the LSC's been around for like two years, but for like a business standpoint, two years is like two your business isn't really start until year two, really, for a lot of people.
• 46:44
  SPEAKER_00: Fail before five.
• 46:45
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, exactly.
• 46:46
SPEAKER_00: So my big my my company's still a baby.
• 46:49
SPEAKER_00: Um, so the thing is like if I switch now and like this is what people will know me for, then like you're like, oh yeah, but aren't you the guy who did this?
• 46:55
SPEAKER_00: Like, why are you talking about helping out and doing all this other stuff?
• 46:58
SPEAKER_00: Because don't you work with this one person who only cares about this, this?
• 47:01
SPEAKER_00: So there's been there's been two or three deals that I've I've I've turned down that would have made me a lot of money, but in the long term would have been a detriment to like my vision, my company, and everything.
• 47:12
SPEAKER_00: So I'm like, I'm not gonna do that.
• 47:13
SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna, you know, like how you're true.
• 47:15
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you gotta, you know, help out, you know, start small because if you just grow it and nurture it, and you know, it'll grow into something way bigger than something that you might have just been able to start big with to begin with.
• 47:27
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, don't sell yourself out no short, y'all.
• 47:29
SPEAKER_03: You see it with artists all the time.
• 47:30
SPEAKER_03: They sell themselves out short, they go to a big label because the numbers.
• 47:35
SPEAKER_03: And uh Alex uh was it uh Oliver Tree talked about it.
• 47:39
SPEAKER_03: He talked about how the label took a ton of his money, and then the album that went live before he actually passed on almost didn't go live because he was leaving the lick the label and they owned the music, and it was all this fucking bullshit.
• 47:51
SPEAKER_03: Um, but that's where it's like you don't get into the VC funders, no, keep it bootstrapped one client at a time, you know, get some basic, you know, bank loans or you know, just loans you can get like I we have Stripe, so we can get money from Stripe, and then you know, it comes a little bit comes out every single um withdrawal or every single charge for a customer.
• 48:11
  SPEAKER_03: So easier that way.
• 48:13
SPEAKER_03: Um but congratulations for not selling yourself out and like doing that right and going into a direction that wasn't in alignment with what you were committed to.
• 48:21
SPEAKER_03: And I love honestly, as a business owner, is like we have um, you know, and you all could use this framework.
• 48:26
  SPEAKER_03: Uh I like the three-tier model.
• 48:28
SPEAKER_03: Like we have start your business, ramp your business, scale your business.
• 48:31
SPEAKER_03: I think that if you had like a three-tiered model, don't know your your structure, uh, just an idea, we can go deeper into your structure.
• 48:37
SPEAKER_03: But like if you think about um mastermind number three.
• 48:39
SPEAKER_00: I was gonna say, yeah, I go on number three.
• 48:40
  SPEAKER_03: Number three.
• 48:41
SPEAKER_03: So if you think about like, say, you know, a listing package, so do you want listing package, you know, A, B, or C, right?
• 48:48
SPEAKER_03: And depending on short form, long form, whatever, you know, amount of fitted pictures you want to take, um, I think that gives them options.
• 48:57
SPEAKER_03: And I think that having one, two, and three, and then what I talked about earlier with that whole like um, you know, course for maybe how to how to for dummies to do short form video walkthrough tour of your listing, right?
• 49:12
SPEAKER_03: Super down dumb it down.
• 49:14
SPEAKER_03: Um, that could be the fourth option.
• 49:16
SPEAKER_03: So it's like, hey, we have option A, B, and C, but if you need like say uh option A1, like we do have this intro level, you don't have the budget, I respect it.
• 49:27
SPEAKER_03: And then here's your price.
• 49:28
SPEAKER_03: Because a lot of times what they call it is is they call it the uh the gateway drug.
• 49:32
SPEAKER_03: So companies will will put out like fishing line, and then they'll catch that fish, and then they might have caught a small fish, but they want to catch a bigger fish.
• 49:41
SPEAKER_03: Same kind of concept, but it's like, hey, get them in with the gateway to show that you are someone that knows what you're talking about.
• 49:48
SPEAKER_03: They follow that course, they have success, they see ROI, you plant the seed at the beginning, and then boom, they're getting your listing package at A, B, or C.
• 49:57
SPEAKER_03: Um, so that's really powerful.
• 49:59
SPEAKER_03: And that way, you know, they also don't forget shit, and then you have something to refer back to.
• 50:02
SPEAKER_03: I think we have like 20 free guides right now.
• 50:05
SPEAKER_03: If you all lift off agent.com and read resources, don't go there.
• 50:08
SPEAKER_03: Um my partner's like, don't tell people to go to the site if they're not agents because it screws up our SEO.
• 50:15
SPEAKER_03: So um, so basically you have all these guides, and I have a YouTube video, and then I have the guide and they can download so they can watch my video that goes over the guide itself, it gives them visual cues, and then they can go through the actual guide and they can read it and there's pictures and stuff like that.
• 50:26
SPEAKER_03: So, how does your packages work and how do you break it down?
• 50:28
SPEAKER_03: Agents watching right now, maybe they want to use your services.
• 50:30
SPEAKER_00: So, with my packages, um, how they're done right now, um, it's more, it's not catered to just agents, since you know, we we serve uh anybody who really needs the help.
• 50:42
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 50:42
SPEAKER_00: Um, it's more like just tiers of like basically how much work you need.
• 50:46
SPEAKER_00: So like I have, I could pull up on my phone, but I want to try to remember it.
• 50:49
  SPEAKER_00: I feel like I should.
• 50:53
SPEAKER_00: We have a growth, we have so growth is like somebody who's just like just starting, you know, they're just trying to like, you know, um create more content, uh grow their followers or grow their uh business awareness and all that stuff.
• 51:04
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 51:04
SPEAKER_00: Um then we have then we have pro, which is um somebody who's like already pretty established and everything, and they just want more high-end quality content, like more detailed edits, more like a little bit more cinematic kind of.
• 51:16
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
• 51:17
SPEAKER_00: Uh we have an entrepreneurial one where it's you know, like kind of more directly just towards companies to like just get brand awareness, nice, um, you know, brand uh orientated content and all that type of stuff.
• 51:28
SPEAKER_00: Um, then we have there's there's another one.
• 51:32
  SPEAKER_00: I forget.
• 51:32
SPEAKER_00: I don't really talk about that one a lot.
• 51:34
SPEAKER_00: We have other, we have two more.
• 51:36
  SPEAKER_00: There's two more.
• 51:37
SPEAKER_00: And but those are like uh uh I think it's enterprise or like really big, like really big, already like established companies.
• 51:47
  SPEAKER_00: Uh but that's something I I don't really do a whole lot with.
• 51:49
SPEAKER_00: It's there, but it's again because like nice to have?
• 51:53
SPEAKER_00: It's nice to have in case, like in case never know.
• 51:55
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I never know.
• 51:56
SPEAKER_00: Um in case a cup of company does come along that does want to pay a whole lot, but also is true to my values and they understand what I'm trying to do.
• 52:04
  SPEAKER_00: Question question for you.
• 52:06
SPEAKER_03: What would you say is the if you look at all your customers, out of all your customers, what is the highest percentage of customers in in what industry?
• 52:16
SPEAKER_03: Number one, and number two, out of the technically five options, six maybe, uh, what option is the most popular that you typically always sell?
• 52:26
SPEAKER_00: Uh so right now, the most dense stuff is probably uh between agents and other content creators.
• 52:34
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 52:35
SPEAKER_00: And then the one that I would probably use the most that is the entrepreneur one.
• 52:39
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 52:40
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 52:40
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 52:40
SPEAKER_03: So so when you say agents and other, what would that be?
• 52:44
  SPEAKER_00: What industry?
• 52:45
SPEAKER_00: Uh so like real estate and then um entrepreneurship, are they influencers?
• 52:50
  SPEAKER_00: They're like up-and-coming businesses.
• 52:51
  SPEAKER_00: So they're entrepreneurs.
• 52:52
  SPEAKER_00: Entrepreneurs, business owners.
• 52:54
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, business owners, but like I would say others because it's not a specific business that they all share.
• 52:58
SPEAKER_00: They're all completely different businesses.
• 53:00
  SPEAKER_00: Got it.
• 53:00
SPEAKER_00: So like that automation business, construction business, uh, other small LLCs, stuff like that.
• 53:06
  SPEAKER_00: Got it, got it.
• 53:06
SPEAKER_00: And then that package, how much do you mind sharing?
• 53:09
SPEAKER_00: Around CRM's help with that.
• 53:11
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 53:12
SPEAKER_00: I know the top, the top part is like three grand, but I'm trying to remember where it starts off.
• 53:16
  SPEAKER_00: I'm pretty sure it's like 1200 or 1200.
• 53:19
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, 1200 or a thousand.
• 53:20
SPEAKER_00: So typically people pay you 12 to get started.
• 53:24
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think it's I think probably like a thousand.
• 53:26
SPEAKER_00: I feel like a thousand is the right number.
• 53:27
SPEAKER_00: And that's like that's that's like for the month where and they get all they get like four days of content days or eight days of like short days.
• 53:35
SPEAKER_00: So like once a week or twice a week, and they get so like if it's once a week, eight hours of content, we do all the stuff we do, and we do like strategy meetings with them and everything.
• 53:44
SPEAKER_00: We we plan everything out.
• 53:45
SPEAKER_00: So nothing's like day of stuff.
• 53:47
SPEAKER_00: This is all like we sit down, we talk about everything, we map out everything, uh, like content release days, uh, what videos are gonna be released on these days, where we're gonna record and everything.
• 53:57
SPEAKER_00: We write up all the scripts if if we're needed, we get the locations figured out, time meetings, everything, you know, um reserve anything if if a spot needs to be reserved or something, you know, we get all that stuff like done uh um you know beforehand and everything.
• 54:10
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, interesting.
• 54:11
SPEAKER_00: So basically we we get we do everything for them um that needs to be done, and we do we handle the editing and all that stuff too.
• 54:17
SPEAKER_00: Um we we we handle the uploading for them and everything.
• 54:19
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
• 54:20
SPEAKER_00: So like so on on that on that one, they really don't have to worry all about whole much other than just like show up and we record with them and everything.
• 54:27
  SPEAKER_03: I like that.
• 54:28
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's awesome.
• 54:29
  SPEAKER_03: No, congratulations, man.
• 54:30
  SPEAKER_03: That's that's cool.
• 54:31
SPEAKER_03: I think that uh you're doing a great job.
• 54:33
SPEAKER_03: And I'm just asking these questions because I just nerd out on this is what I nerd out on every single day, y'all.
• 54:38
SPEAKER_03: Um, I'm grateful that I just chose like one industry, which is real estate.
• 54:43
SPEAKER_03: Um, people would say I'm absolutely crazy because real estate is the hardest, one of the hardest individuals to work with.
• 54:52
SPEAKER_03: So um it's one of the hardest.
• 54:55
SPEAKER_03: But what I think is so amazing is that my mom always told me if if anything's worth having in life, it's not always easy to have.
• 55:04
SPEAKER_03: So if I want to innovate an industry that literally is filled with all due respect with chickens with their head cut off, what's better than that?
• 55:13
SPEAKER_03: Like you really need to push through the noise and and the chaos and the all over the place nature of these agents, and then and then they have, like you said, trending videos of video walkthrough tours and all this type of stuff, and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
• 55:28
  SPEAKER_03: I think it's just amazing.
• 55:29
  SPEAKER_03: I absolutely love it.
• 55:30
SPEAKER_03: Now, what I would suggest, mastermind number four.
• 55:34
SPEAKER_03: Now we're gonna get a lot on this video.
• 55:36
SPEAKER_03: We're gonna love this video.
• 55:37
SPEAKER_03: What I would suggest just to think about is is that does your programs have a natural progression of flow?
• 55:45
SPEAKER_03: So if someone's gonna start up with us, we do their logo, we do their website, we do their lead pages, we understand their ideal uh avatar.
• 55:52
SPEAKER_03: Then we get into maps or coverage area and we do their relocation guide or area guide that ties directly into YouTube and our next program from start to ramp up.
• 56:01
SPEAKER_03: Now, when we ramp them up, they get all that.
• 56:04
SPEAKER_03: But now we want to go a little bit deeper into listing promotion coming soon, just sold just listed.
• 56:09
SPEAKER_03: So the social media, uh, promoting those listings, potentially if you want to boost them, and then getting into YouTube, doing the thumbnail, writing the copy, so they can start just filming videos, but maybe they can't afford editing or they want to do their own editing.
• 56:22
  SPEAKER_03: Fine.
• 56:22
SPEAKER_03: We'll put them on YouTube and we'll put the listing and the videos on social.
• 56:26
SPEAKER_03: Then after they want to level up to the next level, they go scale up.
• 56:30
SPEAKER_03: Now they get the blog from the YouTube video, because we do video to blog, and they get the editing of the video, right?
• 56:36
SPEAKER_03: And then we could even do the short form content too from the long form.
• 56:39
SPEAKER_03: So, so that's our natural progression.
• 56:42
SPEAKER_03: So it's an so so when you when you talk to someone, you could easily tell them, like, hey, like this is what it looks like.
• 56:48
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 56:49
SPEAKER_03: And when you come from a consultative standpoint and you tell them straight up, like, because you know, if you just I'm gonna get I'm gonna put you on game, bro.
• 56:55
SPEAKER_03: Every single agent, sorry, agents, uh, you can look them up, you can find out their production volume, you can find out their social media, you can see their brand, you can see everything.
• 57:04
  SPEAKER_03: It's very, very easy.
• 57:05
  SPEAKER_03: It's very transparent.
• 57:06
SPEAKER_03: And so you can automatically know if they just had a listing closed or not.
• 57:10
SPEAKER_03: And that's when you come in and you tell them something like, so I know that you can't afford probably our highest package, but based off your listing production the last past six months, I think the best option for you is gonna be our starter plan, and this is what it looks like.
• 57:25
SPEAKER_03: And then you can you can we could show you a clear roadmap to get to like the highest level tier that would give you this much exposure, it would give you this many leads, it would give you this type of outcome.
• 57:34
SPEAKER_03: So you paint the picture of the outcome as they go through the model to make them get excited for the next thing to come because agents are always like bright, shiny object syndrome.
• 57:44
SPEAKER_03: So that would really help because when you try to do this industry and that industry and all these different industries and business is business, and I get it brand awareness, putting out content, whatever else.
• 57:53
SPEAKER_03: There's just something about like the red carpet, white glove when you speak to an industry and you know that industry pretty well.
• 57:59
  SPEAKER_03: Is that helpful?
• 58:00
SPEAKER_03: Kind of like to go, you know what I'm saying?
• 58:02
SPEAKER_03: Be a little bit more like specialized.
• 58:04
SPEAKER_00: And I think that you like made me just realize something like with my packages and everything, there's no real like growth between them.
• 58:10
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, what's the synergy?
• 58:11
  SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
• 58:12
SPEAKER_00: I I didn't even think about doing that actually.
• 58:14
SPEAKER_00: It was I I create packages like to target specific like groups and people, like the growth ones for people who just starting.
• 58:20
SPEAKER_00: Entrepreneurs just for entrepreneurs, you know.
• 58:21
SPEAKER_00: I didn't think about having connection between them.
• 58:25
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, stuttering.
• 58:26
  SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
• 58:26
SPEAKER_00: You get uh when somebody outgrows one package, they can easily you know transfer uh transfer to another one or grow into another one.
• 58:34
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you're this one.
• 58:35
  SPEAKER_00: I love that.
• 58:36
  SPEAKER_00: Or you're that one.
• 58:36
SPEAKER_00: So that's that's already something another amazing thing I could like you know, you know, put into my business and help it grow better, you know, and help other people grow too by you know going through stuff.
• 58:45
SPEAKER_00: Instead of them saying, Oh, I outgrew this, I'm gonna go somewhere else now.
• 58:48
  SPEAKER_03: Correct.
• 58:49
SPEAKER_03: See, now and did you know true fact?
• 58:52
SPEAKER_03: You know what stuttering is?
• 58:53
SPEAKER_03: What the brain's going faster than you could speak.
• 58:56
  SPEAKER_03: That's what a stutter is, really.
• 58:57
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you know what I'm saying?
• 58:58
SPEAKER_03: It's not even like a bad thing, it's just like your brain's like and you like can't get it out fast enough.
• 59:03
SPEAKER_03: Because think about it, like for business owners out there too, like if you had a national progression, and who cares?
• 59:09
SPEAKER_03: It's not just real estate or one specific industry.
• 59:11
SPEAKER_03: Um, I talked to a guy over the weekend, uh, their company does ad media buying, they do all online type stuff.
• 59:17
SPEAKER_03: Uh, he's just in, so there's like the company got so big, there's like home services, real estate agents, like you know, the different whatever, new construction, um, you know, builders, whatever.
• 59:28
SPEAKER_03: So if you just had a national progression, you thought about any type of business owner, and you said, well, if I was a business owner and I started from the ground zero, outside of like needing a website or anything like that, like I would want to identify like what my brand would look like, who am I trying to serve, and then like what is my content gonna like look like?
• 59:47
SPEAKER_03: And then you could like line it out like here's Alex Ramosi, here's this, boom, boom, like what type of style do you like?
• 59:52
SPEAKER_03: And then you gave them the style and you told them that like this is what we're gonna start putting out, and this is what's gonna help you be able to get exposure based off of what you're looking to do.
• 1:00:00
SPEAKER_03: And when you take this approach talking to this specific person who's your ideal client, then it makes it easier for them to follow the yellow brick road.
• 1:00:07
SPEAKER_03: And then you use mini chat, drop the word in the comment, and it takes them to the high value or the website or whatever the hell, you know what I'm saying?
• 1:00:15
SPEAKER_03: Then it then it could really like help them through that process.
• 1:00:19
SPEAKER_03: Like, as an example, like hypothetically speaking, if you were doing real estate and we give seven to 14% referral fee, and you had talked to an agent about doing their video and media work and you helped them out and they went from zero to lift off agent for a website, and then they did the mini track and drop people to their website to download a guide that we developed or whatever.
• 1:00:41
  SPEAKER_03: I give seven percent.
• 1:00:43
SPEAKER_03: And if you do seven percent of uh startup cost right now with 10% discount is$4,950, I could be giving you$346.50 for an agent to get a website mapping guide that ties directly into your startup plan to your second tier, which is another revenue stream for you.
• 1:01:02
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that is amazing.
• 1:01:04
SPEAKER_03: So when you when you align, right, your value proposition, you don't think about the type of person, you think about the life cycle of a business owner, and if you can get them from point A to point B to point C, like my partner just showed me our back-end system.
• 1:01:19
  SPEAKER_03: It is phenomenal.
• 1:01:21
SPEAKER_03: Everything from billing to uh SEO stats, what are their video to blogs doing?
• 1:01:26
SPEAKER_03: Uh to even we do neighborhood quizzes now where someone can actually say, I want to be near a golf course, I want to be close to an airport, I want uh single family property, I have a$500,000 budget, and it'll spit out the specific community based off of the things that you put in this neighborhood quiz.
• 1:01:42
  SPEAKER_03: Wow.
• 1:01:42
  SPEAKER_03: Right?
• 1:01:43
SPEAKER_03: So that's taking it to a whole nother level where then you can roll out that red carpet.
• 1:01:47
SPEAKER_03: And it's like, it's like as soon as you have a natural progression from start, ramp, and scale, as an example, because that's what you do at liftoff, then you could be able to put people through the process.
• 1:01:56
SPEAKER_03: And now I have clients getting upwards of 150 leads a month from their website with the passive prospecting and the passive prospecting systems with us.
• 1:02:05
SPEAKER_03: 80 downloads alone, just of our high value downloadable guides.
• 1:02:10
  SPEAKER_03: That's fact.
• 1:02:12
SPEAKER_03: YouTube video, live, lift off agent, check it out, Myrtle Beach, Chris.
• 1:02:17
  SPEAKER_03: It's already there now.
• 1:02:18
SPEAKER_03: That's something that then I could use as a case study to show here's your progression.
• 1:02:22
SPEAKER_03: This is what it looks like, and just follow the path.
• 1:02:26
SPEAKER_03: So your gateway drug, boom, guide, course, how-to funnels them into that let's get you started up with an actual person and then ramped up and then scaled up and elite or whatever you want to call it.
• 1:02:39
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's awesome.
• 1:02:40
SPEAKER_00: That's a I'm definitely gonna have to integrate that in, yeah.
• 1:02:44
  SPEAKER_00: You like that?
• 1:02:44
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's amazing.
• 1:02:45
  SPEAKER_03: All right, let's go, let's go, let's go.
• 1:02:47
SPEAKER_03: And I'm only saying that from the perspective of not everyone's open to what I'm saying right now, and I'm saying it from the perspective that I think maybe you're ready to hear it.
• 1:02:55
SPEAKER_03: Because, you know, we're all on our own journey, right?
• 1:02:58
SPEAKER_03: And the fun part about being an entrepreneur is like figuring shit out.
• 1:03:01
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, every day, like you you could think you have something figured out, and then the next day a curveball happens and you realize I didn't even I didn't even think about that being a possibility.
• 1:03:10
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 1:03:11
SPEAKER_00: Like, and like you learn new ways to fix problem, like you'll learn a hundred ways to fix one problem, which is great.
• 1:03:16
SPEAKER_00: You know, you'll be in situations where like you had to like really think on your feet and everything, but then you'll get to a point for some things where you're like, I I know tons of ways to deal with this issue and everything.
• 1:03:25
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but like, you know, yeah, like being an entrepreneur is fun because like there's just so many things, so many outcomes, so many um experiences that you had to deal with and learn.
• 1:03:34
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 1:03:35
SPEAKER_00: And like a lot of people are very self-taught too.
• 1:03:37
SPEAKER_00: So that's that's a great thing, too, because it teaches people how to be more independent, more, you know, self-reliant stuff as well, which is really good.
• 1:03:44
SPEAKER_00: And being an entrepreneur is it's not for everybody.
• 1:03:46
  SPEAKER_00: Not everybody.
• 1:03:47
  SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
• 1:03:48
  SPEAKER_00: No, no.
• 1:03:49
SPEAKER_00: There's there's a lot of people who are like very stuck in the well, I just I'm just gonna work for somebody else and you know make my make my nine to five or whatever.
• 1:03:56
SPEAKER_00: But like being an entrepreneur, it's the people, the mentality that an entrepreneur has is just phenomenal.
• 1:04:02
SPEAKER_00: It is it's incredible when people are like, No, I know I can do something that can like like there's other entrepreneurs, obviously, like I don't want to be a greedy one anymore, but there are people who are like, no, I I can create something that will generate generational wealth for me and my family and everything, and they'll come up with like crazy ideas for like something that's so simple that you would think, why was this not made before?
• 1:04:23
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but like they like they just they figure it out.
• 1:04:25
SPEAKER_00: They're like, nobody's doing this, and then like they'll blow up and they'll do amazing things, or people who are like more for the community, they'll figure out something else.
• 1:04:33
SPEAKER_00: Like, I if I just take initiative and take the one extra step that nobody else is doing, yep, I'll be able to help so many people.
• 1:04:40
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, just because like people are like, I don't like it's whatever, like we already have this, we don't need to do more, right?
• 1:04:45
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, there's tons of there's tons of rental companies.
• 1:04:47
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, nobody needs to do what I'm doing.
• 1:04:49
SPEAKER_00: No, but you know, I'm gonna take the initiative, take them one extra step in everything, and everything you do with your company, you know, there's so many other things that you're able to do to help out more agents, more people, and everything.
• 1:04:58
SPEAKER_00: You know, just take the initiative.
• 1:05:00
SPEAKER_00: It's you know, entrepreneurs, they just think on a different exactly.
• 1:05:03
SPEAKER_03: And in this whole situation, I didn't come in.
• 1:05:05
SPEAKER_03: We I wasn't like planning on getting into like four masterminds talking about like different ways to navigate business and ways that you could like fill holes and call in.
• 1:05:14
SPEAKER_03: Like it was just organic.
• 1:05:15
SPEAKER_03: I was like, oh, well, hey, what do you think about this?
• 1:05:17
SPEAKER_03: What do you think about that?
• 1:05:18
SPEAKER_03: And I think a big part of where you will fail as an entrepreneur is either one not wanting to either get a coach or be coachable, two, not being able to find the pitfalls, be proactive, find the pitfalls in your business, find those holes and like fill them in the colander.
• 1:05:37
SPEAKER_03: Because if you don't, then what's gonna happen is is three, you're gonna you're gonna burn out.
• 1:05:41
SPEAKER_03: You're gonna burn out because you're like, it's not working.
• 1:05:43
SPEAKER_03: I don't understand why it's not working, and it's because, well, uh, you don't know who your target demographic is.
• 1:05:48
SPEAKER_03: Well, your packages don't align together.
• 1:05:50
SPEAKER_03: Well, there's not enough synergy.
• 1:05:52
SPEAKER_03: Well, you're doing five things and it's not working.
• 1:05:54
SPEAKER_03: Like I was listening to Ty Lopez.
• 1:05:56
SPEAKER_03: Uh Ty Lopez is uh if you've seen the guy on YouTube.
• 1:06:00
SPEAKER_03: From back in the day, he's like, Here, here with my Lamborghini, Ty Lopez over here.
• 1:06:05
SPEAKER_03: And um, he was talking to a gentleman, and the guy categorized himself about being Afro-American.
• 1:06:10
SPEAKER_03: He's like, Oh, because I'm African American, like, I just not having the same success as someone who's not.
• 1:06:14
SPEAKER_03: And Ty's like, What do you do?
• 1:06:15
  SPEAKER_03: He's like, I got a brick and mortar.
• 1:06:16
  SPEAKER_03: What do you sell?
• 1:06:18
SPEAKER_03: A little bit of everything.
• 1:06:18
SPEAKER_03: Like, what do you mean everything?
• 1:06:19
SPEAKER_03: You have like a fridge you sell and a dishwasher, and he's like, Yeah, a little bit of everything.
• 1:06:23
SPEAKER_03: He's like, It's nothing about race, it's your model.
• 1:06:26
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 1:06:27
SPEAKER_03: And then he brought up Shaggy, uh, and Shaggy sells gold, has has uh gold and has courses.
• 1:06:31
SPEAKER_03: And he's like, Hey, Shaggy, he's like, uh, you know, I'm a white dude, okay?
• 1:06:35
  SPEAKER_03: You're African American.
• 1:06:36
SPEAKER_03: Like, where are you at?
• 1:06:38
  SPEAKER_03: What's going on?
• 1:06:39
SPEAKER_03: How much did you make last month?
• 1:06:40
SPEAKER_03: He's like, Well, I went from zero, got your courses, I followed your process, now I'm making 1.2 million a month.
• 1:06:46
  SPEAKER_03: Nice.
• 1:06:47
SPEAKER_03: And he and he's like, okay.
• 1:06:49
SPEAKER_03: And so it's just that that shift, right?
• 1:06:52
SPEAKER_03: Because the thing is, is that if you really have like a good business model and you come from service first, the Lord will bless you with riches.
• 1:07:00
  SPEAKER_03: Like it's the byproduct.
• 1:07:01
SPEAKER_03: Like, if you like it's about being of service first, and if you're of service and you're supporting and you're helping and you have nothing to gain from it, like by by default, you're gonna be blessed.
• 1:07:12
SPEAKER_03: You're gonna be blessed in ways where like you can't always explain it.
• 1:07:17
SPEAKER_03: Just gotta thank you, Lord, and receive it, and just like that's awesome.
• 1:07:21
  SPEAKER_03: Yes, you know.
• 1:07:22
SPEAKER_03: So let's get into uh I want to now get into this segment of the car content.
• 1:07:27
SPEAKER_03: Okay, let's get into the car stuff.
• 1:07:30
SPEAKER_03: So this man, as I said earlier in the show, has camera equipment that's more expensive than his car alone.
• 1:07:36
SPEAKER_03: It sounds like you're putting hundreds of thousands of miles on this vehicle, whether it's monthly or even maybe weekly.
• 1:07:43
SPEAKER_03: So, what year make model is the car?
• 1:07:45
  SPEAKER_00: So I have a 2011 Chevy Malibu uh LTZ V6.
• 1:07:51
SPEAKER_00: Ooh, LTZ is the higher trim though.
• 1:07:53
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 1:07:53
  SPEAKER_00: All right, all right.
• 1:07:54
SPEAKER_00: Uh I got this car used or new?
• 1:07:58
  SPEAKER_00: Used.
• 1:07:58
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 1:07:59
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 1:07:59
  SPEAKER_00: I got this car in 2023 or 2022.
• 1:08:04
  SPEAKER_00: Late 2022, early 2023.
• 1:08:06
SPEAKER_00: One of those, one of those.
• 1:08:07
SPEAKER_00: And it was because I the car I did have before it broke.
• 1:08:11
SPEAKER_00: There was a like a there's a malfunction or like a like a return to manufacturer like issue it had.
• 1:08:17
SPEAKER_00: Like a lemon law thing or something?
• 1:08:18
  SPEAKER_00: Something, yeah.
• 1:08:19
SPEAKER_00: But like it was a family car, so like the notification for that got sent to somebody else in the family.
• 1:08:25
  SPEAKER_00: Oh shit.
• 1:08:26
  SPEAKER_00: So I didn't get notified.
• 1:08:28
SPEAKER_00: And uh the car, it shot itself.
• 1:08:30
  SPEAKER_00: It it really?
• 1:08:31
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, there was an issue with like the the way the oil was uh like uh put into like the engine, everything.
• 1:08:38
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 1:08:38
SPEAKER_00: So basically the oil dumped itself and the engine seized.
• 1:08:42
  SPEAKER_00: Dang.
• 1:08:42
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and it was like, and it wasn't like a uh oh, couldn't you like hear like it, like couldn't you figure it out?
• 1:08:48
SPEAKER_00: I was driving, like I just got off of work, I was driving normally.
• 1:08:51
SPEAKER_00: You know, I had just gotten the oil change like a month ago and everything, so it still had oil in it.
• 1:08:55
SPEAKER_00: And then I I just I went off of the green light and then I just heard a crack, and then like I thought like a piston rod or something like had bust bursted or something.
• 1:09:05
  SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
• 1:09:06
SPEAKER_00: And then like you just like from the crank just ramming itself and everything.
• 1:09:11
SPEAKER_00: Uh uh, so I was like, what the heck?
• 1:09:13
SPEAKER_00: And I I I took it to uh auto shop.
• 1:09:15
SPEAKER_00: I had to like this was back when I lived in Maricopa too.
• 1:09:18
SPEAKER_00: So like I had to drive with my hazards on going five miles an hour on a 347.
• 1:09:22
SPEAKER_00: Luckily, you could drive at all.
• 1:09:23
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 1:09:25
  SPEAKER_00: Shit.
• 1:09:25
SPEAKER_00: Um uh because like at that time I didn't have money for a tow.
• 1:09:28
SPEAKER_00: I didn't want to tow it or anything.
• 1:09:30
SPEAKER_00: So I was going like five or like ten miles on the 347.
• 1:09:32
SPEAKER_00: Anybody who lives in Maricopa, do doing driving on the 347 going that slow on the on the shoulder, terrible.
• 1:09:38
  SPEAKER_00: Horrible.
• 1:09:39
  SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
• 1:09:40
SPEAKER_03: Luckily it wasn't during like rush hour because like Arizonians are crazy with driving too, bro.
• 1:09:45
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 1:09:45
SPEAKER_03: Fly by, I can imagine hulking their horn and shit.
• 1:09:47
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they're hugging them.
• 1:09:48
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's it people were hungry, I'm like, bro, my hazards are on.
• 1:09:50
  SPEAKER_00: I'm on the shoulder.
• 1:09:50
SPEAKER_00: Obviously, but anyway, I got to I got to shop and everything, and they're like, dude, you have no oil.
• 1:09:54
SPEAKER_00: Where's all your oil at?
• 1:09:55
SPEAKER_00: I'm like, what are you talking about?
• 1:09:56
  SPEAKER_00: Where's my oil at?
• 1:09:58
SPEAKER_00: And then they like looked it up and they're like, Oh, you didn't take this back after the recall?
• 1:10:02
SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, what recall?
• 1:10:04
SPEAKER_00: And then like they showed me, and I'm like, I didn't freaking know, so like I called them.
• 1:10:08
SPEAKER_00: I they called the manufacturer and everything.
• 1:10:10
SPEAKER_00: They're like, Yeah, we sent that out.
• 1:10:11
  SPEAKER_00: It's not our fault.
• 1:10:11
SPEAKER_00: It didn't get sent to you because you weren't the original owner.
• 1:10:14
SPEAKER_00: Uh I'm like, you gotta be kidding me.
• 1:10:16
SPEAKER_00: So then whatever I got, I got the used car I have right now, right?
• 1:10:19
SPEAKER_00: Um what what kind of car is that one?
• 1:10:21
  SPEAKER_00: Oh, the original one?
• 1:10:22
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 1:10:22
SPEAKER_00: Oh, I had a Sonata back in the day.
• 1:10:24
SPEAKER_00: That was that was the one that blew?
• 1:10:25
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
• 1:10:25
  SPEAKER_00: Oh, nice.
• 1:10:26
  SPEAKER_00: Okay, got it.
• 1:10:27
SPEAKER_00: Um, I love that car.
• 1:10:28
SPEAKER_00: That car was actually really nice.
• 1:10:29
SPEAKER_00: Um, but anyway, with my Chevy and everything, right?
• 1:10:32
SPEAKER_00: So it's used and um it's paid off and everything though, but it's just it is a money, it is a money dump because it breaks a lot.
• 1:10:41
  SPEAKER_00: Wow.
• 1:10:41
SPEAKER_00: So it's funny that we that we're talking about this right now because I actually just yesterday I just spent 900 bucks on new parts.
• 1:10:48
  SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
• 1:10:50
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, um, because I had it I had to fix the I had to change out the struts, the spring rods, uh the springs and the the strut um the sway the sway bars.
• 1:10:59
SPEAKER_00: How uh how many miles on this car?
• 1:11:01
  SPEAKER_00: It's at 190,000.
• 1:11:03
  SPEAKER_00: Almost 200,000.
• 1:11:04
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 1:11:05
SPEAKER_00: But it's it's taking a while to get there and it's breaking along the way.
• 1:11:09
  SPEAKER_00: So Jeez.
• 1:11:10
SPEAKER_00: So like every about like every three months, I put about like probably like a grand or like twelve hundred into it.
• 1:11:16
  SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
• 1:11:17
SPEAKER_00: So like two months ago I did like everything in the engine.
• 1:11:20
SPEAKER_00: Like I changed out, I changed out the starter, the the actuator, I changed out all the V VT solenoids.
• 1:11:26
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
• 1:11:27
SPEAKER_00: I changed out the spark plugs, the ignition coils, I changed out uh new battery, changed out some other things in there.
• 1:11:34
SPEAKER_00: Just yeah, oh um, the belt, the serpentine belt, some of the poolies and stuff in there.
• 1:11:40
  SPEAKER_00: So did all that.
• 1:11:41
SPEAKER_00: So now the the engine should be at least fine.
• 1:11:44
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, for sure.
• 1:11:45
SPEAKER_00: Um, and now I'm just now I gotta go do a bunch of stuff underneath.
• 1:11:48
SPEAKER_00: Like I gotta change out, I gotta, you know, the I got I'm doing the rotors, the brakes.
• 1:11:52
SPEAKER_00: So I bought rotors, brakes, struts, springs, soy bar.
• 1:11:57
SPEAKER_00: Um, I'm gonna do a bunch of fluid changes too, brake fluids, power steering fluid, all that stuff.
• 1:12:02
SPEAKER_00: So I do a lot and I do it all myself.
• 1:12:04
  SPEAKER_00: Do you?
• 1:12:04
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I do it all myself.
• 1:12:05
SPEAKER_00: I don't go to places because I so like I'm if I'm lazy, I'll go take it to a brakes plus and just have them do my oil.
• 1:12:12
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 1:12:12
SPEAKER_00: You know, the oil changing isn't that much, it's 80 bucks.
• 1:12:14
SPEAKER_00: So like me doing it myself is like I say like maybe 20.
• 1:12:17
  SPEAKER_00: So it's like whatever.
• 1:12:18
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
• 1:12:18
SPEAKER_00: I take it there and I tell them like just to check things, and then they like bring me a list.
• 1:12:22
SPEAKER_00: Oh yeah, bro, you got all of this issues.
• 1:12:24
SPEAKER_00: Oh, you have all of this stuff.
• 1:12:26
SPEAKER_00: I'm like, okay, how much would that cost for you guys?
• 1:12:27
SPEAKER_00: They're like, Yeah, it's just like three grand.
• 1:12:29
  SPEAKER_00: Damn.
• 1:12:30
SPEAKER_00: I'm like, yeah, just give me that list.
• 1:12:32
SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna just go look at these parts.
• 1:12:33
  SPEAKER_00: I looked at the parts, I was like, yeah, it's 900.
• 1:12:34
  SPEAKER_00: I'm not I'm gonna I'm I can fix it myself.
• 1:12:36
SPEAKER_00: Like before in the in the gaps of before my business became like a full thing and everything, I I did a lot of maintenance jobs.
• 1:12:43
SPEAKER_00: Like I worked at Intel, I did like I did uh like industri industrial maintenance, yeah, technical work.
• 1:12:49
SPEAKER_00: I worked, I used to be uh airplane mechanic, off-wing airplane mechanics.
• 1:12:53
  SPEAKER_00: Oh nice, yeah.
• 1:12:54
SPEAKER_00: A lot of a lot of playing parts.
• 1:12:56
SPEAKER_00: Uh I used to work at Lucid.
• 1:12:57
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 1:12:57
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 1:12:58
  SPEAKER_00: I jumped around a lot.
• 1:12:59
SPEAKER_00: I jumped around, like I'll tell people, it's so funny.
• 1:13:01
SPEAKER_00: Like, I'll tell people, like, oh yeah, I did that.
• 1:13:02
SPEAKER_00: And then like the next day they'll be talking about something else.
• 1:13:04
SPEAKER_00: Like, oh yeah, I did that.
• 1:13:05
SPEAKER_00: And they're like, What do you mean you did that too?
• 1:13:07
SPEAKER_00: Like, what like you just tell me yesterday you worked at, like, yeah, I only worked at all these companies for like maybe like six months to a year, because when I was like in my early 20s, I kept on jumping from job to job to figure out what I really wanted to do.
• 1:13:17
  SPEAKER_00: Exactly, exactly.
• 1:13:18
SPEAKER_00: So I was there with you.
• 1:13:19
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so so yeah, my car is I I put a lot of money into my car maybe every other month, but and like think to myself every time, like, I could just save up this money and just put down a down payment on a brand new car, right?
• 1:13:30
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
• 1:13:31
SPEAKER_00: But then it's like I could, but then like then that's the monthly payments and everything.
• 1:13:35
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, those add up.
• 1:13:37
SPEAKER_00: Because like, like, because then the new insurance, you know, for a newer car, you know, I'm a I'm a male, so of course they charge us more.
• 1:13:44
SPEAKER_00: Um, you know, air if anybody doesn't know, also Arizona, insurance, highest insurance like ever.
• 1:13:51
SPEAKER_00: Like for people drive like crazy.
• 1:13:53
SPEAKER_00: The highest amount of fucking fender benders or rear ends.
• 1:13:56
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, we we're like one of the most dangerous states when it comes to cars, uh like car homicides and stuff, or and everything is crazy.
• 1:14:03
SPEAKER_00: Um, but like another funny thing, it's probably like tangents, sorry.
• 1:14:06
  SPEAKER_00: You're good.
• 1:14:06
  SPEAKER_00: Don't know about it.
• 1:14:07
SPEAKER_00: Anybody in Arizona, if you go rent from another company, like if you I'm not if you go rent out of state, you're gonna get charged way more just because you're from Arizona.
• 1:14:15
SPEAKER_00: The second, like, I went to go get something from uh I wanna go get something from Hertz, right?
• 1:14:19
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and like the price was like it was like like 200 or something, like 300 or whatever.
• 1:14:23
SPEAKER_00: And I was like, okay, cool, sounds good, right?
• 1:14:26
SPEAKER_00: For like the single day use.
• 1:14:27
SPEAKER_00: And then I gave them my my ID and they're like, Oh, you're from Arizona?
• 1:14:31
SPEAKER_00: I'm like, yeah, so that's actually gonna be$600 now.
• 1:14:34
  SPEAKER_00: What?
• 1:14:35
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm like, what?
• 1:14:37
SPEAKER_00: And like they're like, yeah, Arizonians have a upcharge because you guys have a really bad driving record.
• 1:14:43
  SPEAKER_03: Wow.
• 1:14:43
SPEAKER_03: Talk about freaking just like putting everyone in like the status quo and not even like doing it based off of specific your record.
• 1:14:52
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so there's a lot of companies that do that.
• 1:14:53
SPEAKER_00: Some companies don't, but most of them do, so it's kind of funny.
• 1:14:55
SPEAKER_03: But anywho, dude, that is crazy, man.
• 1:14:58
SPEAKER_03: So you so you bought the car initially, you've had it for what, four or five years now?
• 1:15:01
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 1:15:02
SPEAKER_03: And how much do you buy originally?
• 1:15:03
SPEAKER_00: How much did I get for originally?
• 1:15:05
SPEAKER_00: Uh I think I got it for like how much was it?
• 1:15:08
SPEAKER_00: It was a lot, actually.
• 1:15:12
SPEAKER_00: Ma and pa and everything, you know, just to get it like because I need because like my car broke.
• 1:15:15
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I needed like day off.
• 1:15:16
SPEAKER_00: Like I like I need a new car right now.
• 1:15:18
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
• 1:15:19
SPEAKER_00: So I was just like, I don't want to go through all the hassles and all that stuff.
• 1:15:22
SPEAKER_00: So I just went to use Carplace.
• 1:15:23
SPEAKER_00: I think was like like eight or ten grand, really.
• 1:15:26
SPEAKER_00: After I finished paying it off.
• 1:15:27
  SPEAKER_03: Wow.
• 1:15:28
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 1:15:28
SPEAKER_03: So 10,000 there, and then every three months, starting what?
• 1:15:32
SPEAKER_03: Like a couple years ago, or like when would you say the problem started happening?
• 1:15:36
SPEAKER_00: Probably it pretty recently, actually.
• 1:15:38
SPEAKER_00: So like last year, like summer of last year.
• 1:15:41
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 1:15:41
  SPEAKER_00: Summer of last year.
• 1:15:42
SPEAKER_03: So okay, so more more recently every three months.
• 1:15:44
SPEAKER_03: But I say, if it started from the beginning, I've been like, yeah, dude.
• 1:15:47
SPEAKER_00: No, not from the beginning.
• 1:15:48
  SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
• 1:15:48
  SPEAKER_00: Thankfully.
• 1:15:49
SPEAKER_00: If it was from the beginning, I probably would have sold it outright.
• 1:15:51
SPEAKER_00: Like, no, I'm just gonna sell it to somebody else.
• 1:15:52
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 1:15:54
SPEAKER_03: It's cool too, because I don't think people realize this.
• 1:15:56
SPEAKER_03: And like, you know, life could happen to you or for you.
• 1:15:59
SPEAKER_03: I like to just say it happens for us for a reason.
• 1:16:01
SPEAKER_03: I just feel like it makes life easier that way.
• 1:16:04
SPEAKER_03: Instead of being like, oh my God, like got a flat tire, this happened to me, I got pulled over, that happened to me.
• 1:16:09
SPEAKER_03: It's just like more of like a stress kind of way of thinking about it.
• 1:16:11
SPEAKER_03: I like to just keep it as simple and light as airy as possible.
• 1:16:14
SPEAKER_03: And so, from your perspective, the fact that like you're okay with fixing it yourself, not a lot of people are gonna look up those parts and be like, I'm just gonna do all this stuff.
• 1:16:23
SPEAKER_03: And you're doing it and you're putting content about it and and you're learning new things, and it's a part of your experience.
• 1:16:28
SPEAKER_03: And I think that people forget the fact that like life is about an experience, it's not just about just like working your nine to five and coming home and like I don't know, eating junk food and watching sports.
• 1:16:40
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you know, it's like let's let's do more.
• 1:16:43
SPEAKER_03: And so um, I have a story for you.
• 1:16:45
SPEAKER_03: I this is the first time publicly I'm telling everyone.
• 1:16:48
SPEAKER_03: I already said it once uh early in the show.
• 1:16:51
SPEAKER_03: So basically, I had the Nissan GTR as you know, I had the Ram TRX, as you know.
• 1:16:55
SPEAKER_03: The GTR was a 10-year goal, had it for three years, three and a half now.
• 1:16:58
SPEAKER_03: Um, and then the TRX was like two, three-year-old.
• 1:17:01
SPEAKER_03: Have I had that for about a year and a half.
• 1:17:03
SPEAKER_03: Um, and then my wife has her Honda Santa Fe.
• 1:17:05
SPEAKER_03: I just picked up a 2005 jet ski um because I ended up selling on my last vent, sold the headlights and taillights of my GTR.
• 1:17:14
  SPEAKER_03: I saw that.
• 1:17:14
SPEAKER_03: Because I have the Alpha Rex now.
• 1:17:16
SPEAKER_03: I sold those for three grand and bought the jet ski for 3,500.
• 1:17:19
SPEAKER_03: So I got the jet ski for only 500 bucks out of pocket, which is freaking awesome.
• 1:17:23
  SPEAKER_03: That is awesome.
• 1:17:23
SPEAKER_03: With the trailer and like 15 life vests, so I gotta say that's a win.
• 1:17:28
SPEAKER_03: That is a win, definitely.
• 1:17:29
SPEAKER_03: And so I'm gonna take us back in time about cars experience, and I have uh a story for the same type of segment that we're in.
• 1:17:37
  SPEAKER_03: 2006, uh, I graduated in 2005.
• 1:17:39
SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna date myself now from high school, 2005.
• 1:17:42
  SPEAKER_03: When I graduate high school, it's uh 2006, 2007, I was a lot attendant.
• 1:17:46
SPEAKER_03: I used to work at Chevy, and I used to you pull up and I'd be like, oh hi, welcome to Chevy, and you know, put your thing on and you know, whatever, get the dressing on your seat and then pull it in the back.
• 1:17:55
SPEAKER_03: Well, I was dating the clerk, the girl who was at the cashier, and she was taking all the money.
• 1:18:00
SPEAKER_03: And during this time, I had a 1972 Chevelle Malibu that I built with my dad.
• 1:18:04
SPEAKER_03: Put a brand new motor in it.
• 1:18:05
SPEAKER_03: It had like it rev to like 8,500 RPMs, full roller.
• 1:18:10
SPEAKER_03: Uh it was like a three, 350 bored out, so it was like a 3360, I think it was.
• 1:18:16
SPEAKER_03: And um, it had like almost 500 horsepower.
• 1:18:19
  SPEAKER_03: It was sick.
• 1:18:19
SPEAKER_03: It had a nice cam.
• 1:18:21
SPEAKER_03: It chopped at low idle.
• 1:18:23
SPEAKER_03: And this girl at the time, she had a couple cars, but one of the cars was a 2005, wait for it, neon SRT4.
• 1:18:31
SPEAKER_03: Do you remember those cars?
• 1:18:33
  SPEAKER_03: They're very rare.
• 1:18:34
  SPEAKER_03: I don't think I can.
• 1:18:34
SPEAKER_03: If you don't know, you don't know.
• 1:18:36
  SPEAKER_03: I don't think I know.
• 1:18:36
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 1:18:37
SPEAKER_03: He's never heard of the neons.
• 1:18:38
SPEAKER_03: If you know the neon SRT4, they only made him 2003, 2004, 2005.
• 1:18:43
SPEAKER_03: It's a 2.5 liter turbocharged front-wheel drive car, and it kind of resembles a little bit of the um of like the Viper.
• 1:18:54
SPEAKER_03: So you have SRT4, which is four cylinder, SRT8, eight-cylinder, right?
• 1:18:59
  SPEAKER_03: So this is a five, uh, it's a four-door, five-speed manual.
• 1:19:03
SPEAKER_03: So she has this car.
• 1:19:05
SPEAKER_03: They come from the factory at 230 uh horsepower, zero to 60 in five seconds, and they have like uh 300 and something foot pounds of torque.
• 1:19:13
SPEAKER_03: You put a big turbo, stage three, you're at like almost 400 horsepower and like 400 foot, 400 torque, and it's like a 2800-pound car.
• 1:19:21
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 1:19:21
SPEAKER_03: So power to weight ratio, everything else, these cars are pretty fun.
• 1:19:24
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and during the time it came with like a kicker stereo system, big wing in the back.
• 1:19:29
SPEAKER_03: Uh it was a red car, um, and had the pops and the bangs and that type of stuff.
• 1:19:33
SPEAKER_03: It sounds actually pretty good for a Dodge.
• 1:19:35
SPEAKER_03: And so, long story short, um, that was being repossessed.
• 1:19:38
SPEAKER_03: And so she let me drive it, and I got a ticket with my Chevelle, and I let her take my Chevelle and drive it back to where she was living, which was close to my dad's house.
• 1:19:47
SPEAKER_03: So imagine going from here to Scottsdale.
• 1:19:49
SPEAKER_03: She almost gets to Scottsdale, which it was going from Pleasanton, California to Antioch, Pixbury, Antioch.
• 1:19:56
SPEAKER_03: And when you go from first, second, and third, it wasn't shifting to third properly.
• 1:20:00
SPEAKER_03: She had it revved up too high, and she blew the freaking heads, overheated the motor.
• 1:20:05
SPEAKER_03: And I took her car because I got a ticket in that freaking car, and I so I drove over, found her, uh, towed the car, put new heads.
• 1:20:13
SPEAKER_03: It was never the same, ended up selling the car.
• 1:20:15
SPEAKER_03: She ended up getting that car repossessed and repounded repo'd.
• 1:20:19
SPEAKER_03: And so, fast forward, now in 2000, we're in 2026.
• 1:20:24
SPEAKER_03: This is 20 years ago.
• 1:20:25
SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna put something here on the TV.
• 1:20:27
SPEAKER_03: Uh, this is this is kind of cool because I could I could airplay this.
• 1:20:31
SPEAKER_03: So, this here is the 2005 Dodge Neon SRT4.
• 1:20:38
  SPEAKER_03: So there's there's the SRT4.
• 1:20:39
SPEAKER_03: So it has uh like, I don't know, like 19s, uh, those headlights are different, tinted windows, and this one actually comes with the kicker stereo system and the whole nine.
• 1:20:49
SPEAKER_03: This is in Illinois, and I have an investment account, and I the market kind of sucks right now.
• 1:20:54
SPEAKER_03: And I was like, you know, let me just do some research, see what's up, this, that, and another thing.
• 1:20:57
SPEAKER_03: I just bought that car yesterday.
• 1:20:59
  SPEAKER_03: Really?
• 1:20:59
SPEAKER_03: It'll be here next week.
• 1:21:00
  SPEAKER_00: That's amazing.
• 1:21:01
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so it only has four owners originally.
• 1:21:05
SPEAKER_03: Uh, it only has 70,000 miles on it.
• 1:21:07
  SPEAKER_03: Oh, nice.
• 1:21:08
SPEAKER_03: 78,000 miles on it, has a kicker speaker system, it has the um has rear and front sway bar, it has oil cache can, it has the intake on it, it has a front and rear headlights and taillights are changed out.
• 1:21:20
SPEAKER_03: I mean, it's in really good condition.
• 1:21:22
SPEAKER_03: And so, so yeah, so I purchased it my first time ever buying, got it for 10.2 10,200.
• 1:21:29
SPEAKER_03: Uh, that car has they call it the fat boy seats because the it comes with the Viper seats that have big bolstering.
• 1:21:36
SPEAKER_03: And so basically, I'm in all the forms, and this guy hit me up and said, Hey, do you want to trade seats?
• 1:21:41
SPEAKER_03: So I might actually be trading the seats before it gets picked up on Tuesday.
• 1:21:44
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 1:21:45
SPEAKER_03: I'm just waiting for my investment account to transfer over.
• 1:21:47
  SPEAKER_03: I got that for$10,250.
• 1:21:50
SPEAKER_03: I could probably resell the vehicle.
• 1:21:52
SPEAKER_03: I'm glad I'm saying this before I get the car so the guy doesn't take it back from now.
• 1:21:56
SPEAKER_03: I already gave him the deposit.
• 1:21:57
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, um, it could resell for$17,000.
• 1:21:59
  SPEAKER_00: That's amazing.
• 1:22:00
  SPEAKER_03: Yep.
• 1:22:00
  SPEAKER_03: $17,000.
• 1:22:01
  SPEAKER_03: So I'm already up$7,000.
• 1:22:04
  SPEAKER_03: That's beautiful.
• 1:22:04
SPEAKER_03: So that's just a way to do some money hacking and let your money work for you.
• 1:22:10
SPEAKER_03: And so basically, that's the this is the first time I've ever bought a car without financing, so no payments.
• 1:22:16
SPEAKER_03: And um, and I did it because it's an experience thing, and I already have the GTR, one of the most pinnacle cars to have, and the TRX and all that type of stuff.
• 1:22:25
SPEAKER_03: But I look at it as like, you know, if I have these things, because money that's on the ground is it's okay, cool, money.
• 1:22:32
SPEAKER_03: But if it's an account and it makes you feel a certain type of way, and it's not building equity, and you could buy something like that, that can be fun.
• 1:22:39
SPEAKER_03: You could drive it, you could share it, and then you could resell it, like, and it, you know, give someone else an opportunity to have a car from that era in that condition, is like very, very slim to none.
• 1:22:50
SPEAKER_03: So, uh, so yeah, so we'll see.
• 1:22:52
SPEAKER_03: We'll have to do some content around it and uh and have some fun, and you'll have to and a lot of people don't know about them.
• 1:22:57
SPEAKER_03: I didn't even know the fat boy seats was a thing.
• 1:22:59
SPEAKER_03: It comes at side airbags, which the seats typically don't have, uh, which are a little bit heavier.
• 1:23:04
SPEAKER_03: So I might just buy the other ones from this guy and then just have both.
• 1:23:07
  SPEAKER_03: We'll see.
• 1:23:07
  SPEAKER_03: He wants to trade.
• 1:23:08
SPEAKER_03: I gotta call the dealer after our show here.
• 1:23:10
SPEAKER_03: Um, but yeah, so it's just one of those things where it's like, I don't need that, but it's it's the experience to have it short.
• 1:23:16
  SPEAKER_03: You're not guaranteed tomorrow.
• 1:23:18
SPEAKER_03: So why not have some fun today?
• 1:23:20
SPEAKER_03: Share that experience, do something different.
• 1:23:22
SPEAKER_03: Uh, if you remember the SRT4, comment below.
• 1:23:24
SPEAKER_03: I would love to know if you know what that car is or ever heard of that car.
• 1:23:27
SPEAKER_03: Uh no, it's not for sale.
• 1:23:29
  SPEAKER_03: Not yet.
• 1:23:30
SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna keep it for a little while and see what happens.
• 1:23:32
SPEAKER_03: And uh don't really need the money.
• 1:23:34
SPEAKER_03: So if anything, it's just gonna be fun.
• 1:23:35
SPEAKER_03: Now I just need to get a lift for the garage because it's I can't I can't have it out outside.
• 1:23:39
SPEAKER_03: So now that's a whole other thing.
• 1:23:41
SPEAKER_03: Um, so yeah, so with your car, it's like, hey, if you enjoy that process of working on it, going through it, doing your thing, then it's like whatever.
• 1:23:48
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think it's also really good too, because like some people might be thinking, like, oh, I could just, you know, yeah, just go put down another down payment, but then like I said, like that'll be more monthly expenses.
• 1:23:58
SPEAKER_00: Like I could handle so like if you really chop it up, it's like maybe$300 like a month.
• 1:24:02
SPEAKER_00: But like my insurance is super low.
• 1:24:04
SPEAKER_00: You know, I don't have to me redoing the tags is like nothing.
• 1:24:07
SPEAKER_00: It's like$150 maybe for like new tags and everything.
• 1:24:11
SPEAKER_00: So it's just like the overall cost of it is like it's low.
• 1:24:14
SPEAKER_00: It's sure it might be tedious, annoying, but like you know, it's not comparative to if I were to go get a brand new, like the cars I am looking at, like if I were to brad the like the on monthly, it's like 800 or something, you know.
• 1:24:25
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 1:24:25
SPEAKER_00: So like like I don't want to pay that monthly and everything.
• 1:24:28
SPEAKER_00: And then because like that money I do, I put it back in the business or like you know, you know, upkeep and all the other stuff.
• 1:24:34
SPEAKER_00: Um you know, uh because like my lenses and my cameras that I have, so yeah, I got that car for like I'm I'm gonna say it was like eight grand, probably eight or ten grand.
• 1:24:44
SPEAKER_00: And like I have cameras are like six grand and stuff.
• 1:24:47
SPEAKER_00: So like the value the value of the car now is like maybe like maybe a thousand if that.
• 1:24:50
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 1:24:51
SPEAKER_00: Like all my camera gear is more expensive than the car is.
• 1:24:54
SPEAKER_00: I could probably I could probably sell my my daily camera.
• 1:24:57
SPEAKER_00: And I that would be enough to put a down payment on a pretty nice car.
• 1:25:01
  SPEAKER_00: Wow.
• 1:25:01
SPEAKER_00: That if I wanted to, but like I'm not going to because like there's no real reason, you know?
• 1:25:05
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
• 1:25:06
SPEAKER_00: I haven't gotten to the point where like I need a better car.
• 1:25:08
SPEAKER_00: Like, obviously, they'll get to a point where like when I start I I don't actually don't really know.
• 1:25:13
SPEAKER_00: Like, if I because like if I need to go to different stay, I'll just fly.
• 1:25:15
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 1:25:16
SPEAKER_00: Like, you know, but if I want to drive, like maybe I would need a better car, but my car does what it does.
• 1:25:19
SPEAKER_00: And another thing is since I work on it so much, and I think that's I think this is something that people should really do.
• 1:25:24
SPEAKER_00: I think more people need to work on their cars.
• 1:25:26
SPEAKER_00: Sorry, mechanics, but you guys charge way too much.
• 1:25:29
SPEAKER_00: Um, and it's a known thing too, and it's crazy how people just like are okay with that.
• 1:25:33
  SPEAKER_00: Um, agreed.
• 1:25:34
SPEAKER_00: But um, I feel like more people need to learn how to just like fix their own cars.
• 1:25:36
SPEAKER_00: I know this is getting harder nowadays because cars are more like electronics, yeah.
• 1:25:40
SPEAKER_00: And like technological, which kind of sucks, which I'm happy that my car's old.
• 1:25:44
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I can still get in the engine, I can still pop open the hood and do all this stuff, lift it up and say, You should uh know what's going on.
• 1:25:49
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 1:25:50
SPEAKER_00: Like now, like if something, if my car's making a noise, I know what it is.
• 1:25:53
SPEAKER_00: Like, I know exactly what that is.
• 1:25:55
SPEAKER_00: Like, oh, I know what that was.
• 1:25:56
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, what it's like when you wash your own car and you go through the process of like washing it or doing the oil change or whatever, like you you have a sense of your closeness to it.
• 1:26:06
  SPEAKER_03: It's different, it's more intimate.
• 1:26:07
SPEAKER_03: And people don't think about cars as like intimate, but like it's like I heard in Japan what they do is is they have a log, and when they get in their car, they turn on their car and they listen to it for the first five minutes in Japan.
• 1:26:20
SPEAKER_03: And so they listen to it for the first five minutes, they take a log, and they are very much in the know as far as what's coming up, what's going on, and what's what's happening.
• 1:26:28
SPEAKER_03: Like with the GTR, people get all scared about that shit, dude.
• 1:26:31
SPEAKER_03: I put on the front bumper myself.
• 1:26:33
SPEAKER_03: Uh, I did the painted calibers myself.
• 1:26:36
SPEAKER_03: I've taken off the tires multiple times.
• 1:26:37
SPEAKER_03: I've done the oil change myself.
• 1:26:39
SPEAKER_03: I did the front end myself with the front, I did the front uh headlights, the rear tail lights.
• 1:26:43
SPEAKER_03: I mean, I did the the steering wheel, I did the as far as far as electronics, I did the entire freaking Tesla screen put in myself in the heat, and it's dying ACs on, 100 and something degrees, in the garage, and I'm doing this and making a YouTube video, which you're a fucking excuse now.
• 1:26:59
SPEAKER_03: But like, but you know what I'm saying?
• 1:27:01
SPEAKER_03: I think people just need to, and there's something to be said about like, and people might not even understand or even agree or whatever, but I think it's true.
• 1:27:08
SPEAKER_03: I think cars, cars are not living, breathing like animals and like us as hearts and stuff like that, but it is alive from the perspective of like if you think about they say like um you know, matter, matter is nothing but like molecules, and it's like it's like everything's vibration and like you know, your molecules are vibrating at such a high speed that like this looks physical to you.
• 1:27:29
SPEAKER_03: But like at the end of the day, if like you take care of your car and you actually like do the oil change, entire rotation, and you wash it and you do this the basic maintenance, like when I get this car coming in next week, I'm gonna take it straight to the shop and they're gonna do everything.
• 1:27:44
SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna have them do brake fluid, transmission fluid, I'm gonna have an oil change, I'm gonna do spark plugs, I'm gonna do an entire maintenance on the car.
• 1:27:52
SPEAKER_03: And so I have that record, and then the car should run even better, better gas mileage.
• 1:27:57
SPEAKER_03: And if I ever do want to sell it, but here's your full records.
• 1:28:00
SPEAKER_03: Of everything that was done, because that's peace of mind.
• 1:28:02
SPEAKER_03: And I feel like the cars actually run better, they feel better.
• 1:28:06
SPEAKER_03: I mean, have you noticed when you work on your car after doing$900 or whatever to fix stretch or whatever?
• 1:28:12
SPEAKER_03: Like it just feels different.
• 1:28:14
SPEAKER_00: Like when I like when I did the stuff in the engine and everything, like it was a noticeable change.
• 1:28:17
  SPEAKER_00: Really?
• 1:28:18
SPEAKER_00: Like, yeah, like it sounded way smoother and everything.
• 1:28:20
SPEAKER_00: Like, you know, like the car was happy, you know?
• 1:28:22
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 1:28:22
  SPEAKER_00: It's running better.
• 1:28:23
SPEAKER_00: And like, you know, yeah, like the peace of mind and everything, but also knowing, like, like when I went to the auto shop and everything, they told me some of the stuff.
• 1:28:30
SPEAKER_00: Like, we all know main like yeah, maintenance people lie and everything about stuff because they want to get more money, right?
• 1:28:34
  SPEAKER_00: They they said something.
• 1:28:35
SPEAKER_00: They said something about like the brakes and everything.
• 1:28:37
SPEAKER_00: And in my in my head, I was like, that's a damn lie.
• 1:28:40
SPEAKER_00: Like, why are you lying, bro?
• 1:28:41
SPEAKER_00: Like, you think I don't look at my brakes?
• 1:28:43
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 1:28:43
SPEAKER_00: Like, and I'll actually know, because like a lot of people don't.
• 1:28:45
SPEAKER_00: Like, a lot of people don't expect their car and everything.
• 1:28:47
SPEAKER_00: So, like, they could be like, bro, you're you're you're metal.
• 1:28:50
SPEAKER_00: Like they said, like, bro, you're metal to metal and everything.
• 1:28:52
SPEAKER_00: And like I did, yeah.
• 1:28:53
SPEAKER_00: And like, I've been metal to metal before.
• 1:28:55
SPEAKER_00: Like, I've been like, I've let my brakes get real bad and everything.
• 1:28:59
SPEAKER_00: So, like, I know what it sounds like.
• 1:29:00
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I know like the difference between the stopping power and everything and all that stuff.
• 1:29:04
SPEAKER_00: And when he said that to me, I'm like, that's a damn lie.
• 1:29:07
  SPEAKER_00: You're lying to me.
• 1:29:08
SPEAKER_00: Like, I know 100% it's not because one, I replaced my brakes not too long ago.
• 1:29:12
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I replaced them not too long ago for them not to be fully worn out, even with all my driving.
• 1:29:17
SPEAKER_00: I know I drive a lot and everything, but it's like one, I know they're not making the noise that metal to metal makes.
• 1:29:22
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
• 1:29:22
SPEAKER_00: And like, and like, and like literally the second I left that place, I I tested my brakes.
• 1:29:27
  SPEAKER_00: I'm like, like, no, they're fine.
• 1:29:29
SPEAKER_00: Like, they're not, they might be pretty worn, but they're not metal to metal, like you're saying, man.
• 1:29:32
SPEAKER_03: Like, but like, and that's awkward too to have that conversation with someone, you don't call them out, yeah, but like you know they're fucking bullshit.
• 1:29:39
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so I was like, that's crazy, but whatever.
• 1:29:41
SPEAKER_00: But then but it but but it was funny though because he did say that, and I'm like, they're not metal to metal, but like they probably are really low though, because I'm like, I haven't been driving a lot, like yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 1:29:48
SPEAKER_00: So I'm like, I'll replace them and everything.
• 1:29:50
SPEAKER_00: Um well the paths are easy, as long as you're not metal to metal, yeah.
• 1:29:54
SPEAKER_03: Just cliff note everyone out there.
• 1:29:56
SPEAKER_03: If you replace your brakes, like you uh, you know, whatever it's been 20, 30,000 miles, it probably is close to replacement, especially if you're like not easing out of the brake to the light, like you want to get super close to the light and then hit them heck of hard, like you're gonna wear your brakes out pretty quick.
• 1:30:10
SPEAKER_03: Uh, and if they are metal to metal, then you have to resurface your rotors.
• 1:30:13
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 1:30:14
  SPEAKER_03: And here's a little auto lesson.
• 1:30:15
SPEAKER_03: Uh, and then if they're not metal to metal, you just change the pads.
• 1:30:18
  SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
• 1:30:18
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you don't gotta do a flush on the oil, because there are oil when you push down the brake.
• 1:30:23
SPEAKER_03: That's oil transfer to the caliper that has pistons and it pushes and it pushes the pad against the rotor, the thing that spins around inside your wheel if you take a look.
• 1:30:33
SPEAKER_03: And um, and yeah, as long as you're good with that, you're fine.
• 1:30:36
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so I'm gonna do a last.
• 1:30:38
SPEAKER_00: I thought it was just funny when he said that.
• 1:30:40
SPEAKER_00: Um, but he did tell me about my struts.
• 1:30:42
  SPEAKER_00: I didn't know about my struts.
• 1:30:43
  SPEAKER_00: Apparently they were bad.
• 1:30:44
  SPEAKER_00: Oh shit.
• 1:30:45
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so I was like, uh, okay, fair enough.
• 1:30:48
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I can't check those myself.
• 1:30:49
SPEAKER_00: I don't have all the equipment you guys have, so okay, fair.
• 1:30:51
SPEAKER_00: Um, but then I was like, yeah, I'll just go buy struts though.
• 1:30:54
  SPEAKER_00: They're like 200 bucks.
• 1:30:56
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah, struts, alignment.
• 1:30:58
SPEAKER_03: After you put it in struts, you gotta get an alignment.
• 1:31:01
SPEAKER_03: There are specialty tools that you gotta get from other people.
• 1:31:04
SPEAKER_03: When it comes into like the motor side of things, um, when you get into like when I was getting into that V8 and you had to put in, so you have um, you have like a head of the motor, the block of the motor, then you have the pistons in the motor, and then on the head, you have uh rocker arms, and then you have your exhaust valve and you have your intake valve, and they go up and down, up and down, up and down.
• 1:31:25
SPEAKER_03: Well, you have to get a measurement tool in between, like you have to push this tool in between, and you have to like twist the bolt to get like the lift just right for the rocker arms, like stuff like that, so you don't get like a tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick in the motor, is extremely difficult.
• 1:31:41
SPEAKER_03: Like doing something like that, you know, or like if you have an older car with a carburetor, and then you have like you have like you can turn the timing on the back because it's called a distributor, and the distributor has like these wires that go to like the spark plugs that go to your actual cylinder, like you have the block, and then you have like the pistons, right?
• 1:31:59
SPEAKER_03: They use the V8, right?
• 1:32:00
SPEAKER_03: And then you have the you know, the spark plug.
• 1:32:02
SPEAKER_03: So like you have to make sure that things are done right as far as the timing, or then you could blow your motor, cause other issue.
• 1:32:09
SPEAKER_03: That's why the basics, like y'all listening for this car segment, like you gotta make sure that you turn your car on and give it at least five minutes to warm up because our cylinders are oval and then they go round once they heat up, and people don't do that shit.
• 1:32:25
SPEAKER_03: And like, dude, that's the worst, especially with like tires too.
• 1:32:28
SPEAKER_03: That's why people like when they go on the racetrack, they gotta warm up their tires first, you know, stuff like that.
• 1:32:32
SPEAKER_03: But um, yeah, it makes a big difference, and like that's where for like the GTR, I'll turn everything on, let the fuel pump fuel pump prime, stops.
• 1:32:42
SPEAKER_03: Cool, fuels in the right area needs to be.
• 1:32:46
SPEAKER_03: Then I'll start it, let it warm up for a while, and then I'll take off.
• 1:32:50
SPEAKER_03: And then I won't even get to this the temp for transmission needs to be like 160, 165 before I'll even do a pool.
• 1:32:57
SPEAKER_03: So I'm very conscious of that, even though I have the flame map and I'm like a fucking asshole over here flaming and doing all these things.
• 1:33:03
SPEAKER_03: Um, I'm very conscious of that.
• 1:33:05
SPEAKER_03: And then the oil changers are very conscious of that.
• 1:33:07
SPEAKER_03: And then like right now with the car going through its its complete makeover lift, uh facelift, because I fucked up and the splitter and the freeway and oh yeah.
• 1:33:16
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that the black hole.
• 1:33:18
SPEAKER_03: Um, I'm excited to get it back and excited to have the the trio now.
• 1:33:23
SPEAKER_03: Um, my wife's a little nervous about it.
• 1:33:25
SPEAKER_03: She's like, oh my god, I'm nervous and blah, blah.
• 1:33:27
SPEAKER_03: And like we kind of keep things separate.
• 1:33:29
SPEAKER_03: Like, I take care of majority of the finances and majority of that stuff, but she has some of her own stuff, and she's really prideful from the perspective that she wants to grow her company on her own.
• 1:33:38
SPEAKER_03: And she understands that like I've never really had money like to buy a car like that cash ever.
• 1:33:44
SPEAKER_03: Like, we're talking for the first 35 to 38 years of my life.
• 1:33:48
  SPEAKER_03: I mean, I'm I just turned 40, bro.
• 1:33:51
  SPEAKER_03: Am I at a point now?
• 1:33:52
SPEAKER_03: That's not gonna be your you could a lot faster for you, bro.
• 1:33:54
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
• 1:33:54
  SPEAKER_03: I got you.
• 1:33:55
SPEAKER_03: Uh, to actually be able to have money like that and to be able to be in a financial situation where, and you know, you don't have to be 40.
• 1:34:01
SPEAKER_03: You could be you could do it in 20.
• 1:34:02
SPEAKER_03: People are younger and younger to make this happen.
• 1:34:04
SPEAKER_03: I just say that I gotta say that I'm very grateful to have taken the time that I've taken to get where I'm at because it's the tortoise and the hare.
• 1:34:13
SPEAKER_03: And when you do it from a tortoise perspective, not a hare, you appreciate it that much more.
• 1:34:18
SPEAKER_03: And you're more grounded and you're more uh appreciative and you're more sharing, hopefully, and loving about it.
• 1:34:24
SPEAKER_03: When people get it quick, that's when it goes to their head and they got the Lambo, they got the gold chain, they're like, look at me, my shit don't stink.
• 1:34:32
SPEAKER_00: And it's like I feel like they they devalue a lot of stuff.
• 1:34:35
SPEAKER_00: Like people who either like inherent money or like they got really lucky.
• 1:34:40
SPEAKER_00: Like, like I know I know a lot of people who like, I won't say as luck.
• 1:34:43
SPEAKER_00: I feel like people will get mad if I say it's luck, but people do stocks, yeah, you know.
• 1:34:47
SPEAKER_00: Um, doing stocks, like I used to do stocks, but very like small stuff.
• 1:34:50
SPEAKER_00: Day trading and stuff like that.
• 1:34:51
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like it takes a lot of skill to understand how to read the charts and read the graphs and like you know, you know, understand or like be able to predict the market and everything.
• 1:34:59
SPEAKER_00: But there is a little bit of luck into it, but there is a lot of skill that can like you know, yeah, generate it where like it takes less luck.
• 1:35:05
SPEAKER_00: And like those people, like they get like massive returns like immediately or something, you know.
• 1:35:09
SPEAKER_03: I feel like they like that Alex guy, what is that purple fucking uh Varon, the the the Bugatti, he's over in Florida.
• 1:35:16
SPEAKER_03: You watch him on YouTube at all?
• 1:35:18
SPEAKER_00: No, no, no, but I know who you're talking about.
• 1:35:19
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and he's working with uh Matt Armstrong from the UK doing the rebuild.
• 1:35:24
SPEAKER_03: You guys know what I'm talking about.
• 1:35:25
  SPEAKER_03: Check him out.
• 1:35:26
  SPEAKER_03: But he does stocks.
• 1:35:27
SPEAKER_03: Alex guy, dude, and he's just making a shit ton.
• 1:35:30
SPEAKER_00: If people make some crazy money, but I feel like they just like they're maybe not everybody, but a lot of people I feel like that I've witnessed and seen, like they devalue the value of things.
• 1:35:38
SPEAKER_00: Like they they're like, oh yeah, it's just that, like, it's whatever, you know.
• 1:35:41
SPEAKER_00: Like, like, oh, why don't other people just do this?
• 1:35:43
SPEAKER_00: You know, they don't understand like that it's not just capable for everybody to do what you just did, you know?
• 1:35:49
SPEAKER_00: No, like you know, but you just assume because you did it so easily that now you're like, oh, everybody that doesn't do this is like beneath me or below me or whatever, like you know, they're just like they're not doing it right, you know.
• 1:35:59
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and then like you don't realize like the stuff you have is like now, like, dude, this is like a like a there's only a hundred mix of this, bro.
• 1:36:05
  SPEAKER_00: Like, that's insane.
• 1:36:06
SPEAKER_00: You have that, like you like like but to you it's just a toy.
• 1:36:09
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but like to somebody else, that's like that that would be their dream car, you know?
• 1:36:13
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but like to you it's just one another thing in your collection, everything.
• 1:36:17
SPEAKER_00: But like there are people who like take the you know the tourist route where like they still get to the same point he's at, yeah, but they acknowledge, nah, like what like I did something that like like that a lot of people can't do, and it's like it's sad that people can't get to where I'm getting stuff, but like you know, I put in the work, I put in the effort, yeah, and like they value everything so much more to where they actually are, and it's not just a dollar value anymore to them.
• 1:36:40
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's like no, this was like blessed went in tears.
• 1:36:43
SPEAKER_00: This was like the like I had to come together with like other friends, other entrepreneurs, other people to like get to this point, yeah, where like everything, like everything's not just like, oh, I didn't just buy this on the weekend because I saw it at a freaking shop and like yeah, oh yeah, put that on the list.
• 1:36:56
SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna look at the price tag.
• 1:36:57
SPEAKER_00: It was like, no, like we gave this to ourselves to acknowledge the accomplishment that we did, that we built we built towards and everything.
• 1:37:05
SPEAKER_00: So like you getting your GTR and everything, like to somebody some random person out there, GTR is just another car, just another.
• 1:37:10
  SPEAKER_00: Oh, for sure.
• 1:37:11
SPEAKER_00: But to you, it's like, no, this was the goal.
• 1:37:13
SPEAKER_00: Like, this is yeah, I did what I was clinical.
• 1:37:16
SPEAKER_00: I I worked, uh you know, I worked like my hardest, like I did what I needed to do.
• 1:37:20
SPEAKER_00: I stayed convicted, and you know, I stayed true to myself and everything, and I was able to uh, you know, uh gift myself for this accomplishment.
• 1:37:28
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 1:37:28
SPEAKER_00: Like it's more than just a car, it's more than just like uh an image or like something, you know, it's something to prove to yourself and the people around you.
• 1:37:36
SPEAKER_00: Like I did what I did, and this is this is like this is I'm weep I'm reaping the benefits from what I sow and everything.
• 1:37:44
  SPEAKER_00: Amen.
• 1:37:44
SPEAKER_00: You know, it's you know, it's it's uh important part that people need to be able to have.
• 1:37:49
SPEAKER_00: And it just kind of sucks when somebody devalues something, you know.
• 1:37:52
  SPEAKER_00: Oh yeah.
• 1:37:52
SPEAKER_00: Because like it's cool, like to them, like to them too still, like it's cool that you got there.
• 1:37:56
SPEAKER_00: Like it's amazing that you're able to accomplish what you accomplish and everything.
• 1:37:59
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but you're not I don't feel like you're experiencing the same way, or like to the fullest, you know.
• 1:38:05
SPEAKER_03: Dude, there's uh uh and and no d no stab at him.
• 1:38:08
SPEAKER_03: Uh his name is Salamandrin.
• 1:38:10
  SPEAKER_03: Uh he's a Hispanic dude, he's on YouTube.
• 1:38:12
SPEAKER_03: He used to have like every exotic and freaking uh not even just like supercars, he had freaking uh hypercars and stuff.
• 1:38:20
SPEAKER_03: And uh and I want to say Salarmandrin, I can't remember his full name or his YouTube channel, but he had all the cars and like he had so much money and he got a call of cars and did the YouTube videos, and now he has like just a Reventon.
• 1:38:33
SPEAKER_03: He got rid of everything because like his experience was like it doesn't really mean anything to him, and he just wanted to be with his family and and share moments with them and take trips and whatever else, which is totally amazing.
• 1:38:44
SPEAKER_03: I just feel like it's the story that makes the thing.
• 1:38:47
SPEAKER_03: If you can really take the time to build the story, that's why I built up the story before I just told you that I got that car because it wouldn't be the same, yeah, right?
• 1:38:55
SPEAKER_03: Because it's just like whatever, and and I graduated that year.
• 1:38:58
SPEAKER_03: It's like what the car is 21 years old.
• 1:39:01
SPEAKER_03: It's been like 19 years since I've seen it or even been in it, and now it's gonna be here in the future that I get to share with my daughter.
• 1:39:08
SPEAKER_03: The back windows are roll windows.
• 1:39:11
  SPEAKER_03: Nice.
• 1:39:12
SPEAKER_03: My daughter has no idea what that is.
• 1:39:13
  SPEAKER_03: Crazy.
• 1:39:14
SPEAKER_03: So I'm gonna show her what a roll window is.
• 1:39:16
SPEAKER_03: It has something called a CD player.
• 1:39:18
  SPEAKER_03: What the hell is a C D player?
• 1:39:19
SPEAKER_03: Does anyone know what that is?
• 1:39:20
SPEAKER_03: So to show her some of those things too from like some older technology and like and like let her see that and then like go to shows and let other people see it.
• 1:39:29
SPEAKER_03: And by all means, it's a freaking Dodge Neon that sold brand new for 20 grand that I got for 10, you know, 9,800 and something.
• 1:39:37
  SPEAKER_03: It's like 11,300 after transport.
• 1:39:39
  SPEAKER_03: It's just like it's so cool.
• 1:39:41
  SPEAKER_03: It's so cool.
• 1:39:41
SPEAKER_03: And one actually sold uh because I was gonna buy this other one, had$30,000 worth of upgrades, 2,05, like this, with only 22 original miles, single owner, guy got$23,000 for it.
• 1:39:52
  SPEAKER_03: Dang, that's nice.
• 1:39:53
  SPEAKER_03: And I think it's probably worth closer to$25,000 or$30.
• 1:39:56
  SPEAKER_03: To be honest, probably$30,000.
• 1:39:57
SPEAKER_03: Uh, but it was an auction and only two people went back and forth on it.
• 1:40:00
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 1:40:01
SPEAKER_03: And like to your point, I don't want to get into finance.
• 1:40:03
SPEAKER_03: I'm not, I'm not liquidating all my investments to buy this, it has to be something that makes sense.
• 1:40:07
SPEAKER_03: So this is an awesome opportunity, makes perfect sense.
• 1:40:11
SPEAKER_03: But yeah, man, I'm right there with you.
• 1:40:12
SPEAKER_03: I think the story makes the the biggest worlds of difference.
• 1:40:15
SPEAKER_03: Um, and to be honest, man, that GTR has opened up so many doors.
• 1:40:18
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 1:40:18
  SPEAKER_03: How I met you.
• 1:40:19
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's true.
• 1:40:20
  SPEAKER_00: That is true.
• 1:40:21
SPEAKER_03: Like, if I didn't have that car, I wouldn't have met you.
• 1:40:22
SPEAKER_03: I wouldn't have met all the GTR guys.
• 1:40:24
SPEAKER_03: I met like investors, I've met people that like now are good friends of mine.
• 1:40:29
SPEAKER_03: Like, it has opened up doors and like the same thing with this this SRT4.
• 1:40:33
SPEAKER_03: Like, I'm meeting all these new cool people where it's like, uh, let's do an SRT4 event.
• 1:40:39
SPEAKER_03: I already know like four or five guys here in Arizona right now, you know?
• 1:40:42
SPEAKER_03: And it's it's probably as rare as a GTR, or maybe even more rare.
• 1:40:46
SPEAKER_03: Um, so which is cool.
• 1:40:48
  SPEAKER_03: And it's cool because it's also it's just a little four-banger.
• 1:40:51
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's super humbling.
• 1:40:52
  SPEAKER_03: I didn't just go buy a fucking Bugatti.
• 1:40:54
SPEAKER_03: You know what I'm saying?
• 1:40:55
SPEAKER_03: Like, because the Bugatti would be worth more than this house.
• 1:40:57
SPEAKER_03: I'm not gonna buy a car, it's worth more than my house.
• 1:40:59
SPEAKER_03: You know what I'm saying?
• 1:41:00
  SPEAKER_03: Like, that's a total different conversation.
• 1:41:01
SPEAKER_03: But yeah, man, I'm right, I'm right there with you, dude.
• 1:41:03
  SPEAKER_03: So let's get into.
• 1:41:05
  SPEAKER_03: I can't believe we're already freaking an hour and 45 minutes.
• 1:41:09
  SPEAKER_03: Oh, really?
• 1:41:09
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 1:41:09
  SPEAKER_03: Almost two hours.
• 1:41:11
SPEAKER_03: So when you think about the vision and you think about your future, let's leave our viewers and listeners with a little bit of what your vision for your future looks like.
• 1:41:20
SPEAKER_03: So they can follow you, they can follow the journey, whether it's like the, you know, getting into the crowdfunding for what you want to do with the rental stuff, um, maybe they want to hire you for your services.
• 1:41:30
SPEAKER_03: Like, what is your vision look like?
• 1:41:32
SPEAKER_03: Are you gonna have a family?
• 1:41:33
SPEAKER_03: You know, you're gonna have a coup, is this gonna be inner you know, nationally company?
• 1:41:36
SPEAKER_00: Like what like so that's a that's a lot, that's a lot to try to like envision right now and everything.
• 1:41:43
SPEAKER_00: Cause like I know, like again, as it's just a baby company, and yeah, there's still a lot of chance to fail.
• 1:41:48
SPEAKER_00: That's that that's like you know, that's in being in truthful in everything.
• 1:41:51
SPEAKER_00: Obviously, I'm not envisioning failing, but you know, there's a lot of things that could happen, but like where I want it to be is is pretty simple.
• 1:41:57
SPEAKER_00: Uh in the grand scheme, is just um I want my company to be able to, I want to be able to branch out.
• 1:42:03
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, first of all, I want to be able to be in multiple states.
• 1:42:05
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 1:42:06
SPEAKER_00: Um, you know, I don't know about countries yet, but right now in my head is just different states because I want to be able to get it to where it's a rent, it's a full rental and production company where people can come to the company for all types of like rental gear, cameras, lights, sound equipment, all that stuff, right?
• 1:42:21
SPEAKER_00: And then also have uh like an actual building that people could go to and you could do production work at the building, as well as like you know, we can help you on site with everything else.
• 1:42:31
SPEAKER_00: Like, so like the whole plan is to get like a big warehouse, make half of it like office, or like make like get a warehouse with office space, you know, have the office space, but then the warehouse just being a bunch of different and a lot other companies are already doing this too, so like I'm I'm kind of behind a little bit, but um, yeah, um, like they'll they'll get the warehouse and they have basically it's like cubicles of sets, like like a bunch of different like 10 by 10 rooms that are just different sets for people to come, like kitchen or gym or reminds me of Mr.
• 1:42:57
  SPEAKER_00: Mr.
• 1:42:57
  SPEAKER_00: Beast.
• 1:42:58
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, kind of, yeah.
• 1:42:59
  SPEAKER_00: Crazy sets he makes.
• 1:43:00
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he makes some crazy and amazing sets and everything.
• 1:43:02
SPEAKER_00: So it's basically like that.
• 1:43:04
SPEAKER_00: Um, where you know it's a place where people can come and everything, but like, and you could be a creative and you could, you know, do all the other stuff.
• 1:43:10
SPEAKER_00: And like right now, we're just doing video and f and and uh photography.
• 1:43:13
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but when the company gets bigger and more established, like maybe like if we make if we make it past that five-year mark, you know, like the sixth and seventh year and everything, we'll go into other stuff, um, like music and like music videos, music videos, but also like recording music for people, helping people record music.
• 1:43:28
  SPEAKER_00: Nice.
• 1:43:28
SPEAKER_00: Uh a little like funny backstory is like uh my cousin, he's really big into music.
• 1:43:32
  SPEAKER_00: He's a he's a producer, he's done a lot of work.
• 1:43:34
SPEAKER_00: Uh he's done stuff with uh like futuristic and stuff.
• 1:43:37
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 1:43:38
SPEAKER_00: If anybody knows who he is, um pretty big here in Arizona.
• 1:43:41
SPEAKER_00: So like I want to be able to like you know go in that because I've been around that a little bit too.
• 1:43:45
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
• 1:43:46
SPEAKER_00: And like I have a lot of other friends who um do music and everything.
• 1:43:50
SPEAKER_00: Like they've said like, yeah, if you ever get to that point, we would love to help you, like be able to make like a whole like studio and everything to help other creators come in at a cheaper price.
• 1:43:58
SPEAKER_00: Because the name of the company is it's media production.
• 1:44:01
SPEAKER_00: And a lot of people think it's really weird.
• 1:44:02
SPEAKER_00: They're like, Why did you call it its media production?
• 1:44:04
SPEAKER_00: Like it's kind of a stupid name.
• 1:44:05
SPEAKER_00: Like it doesn't really make a whole lot of sense.
• 1:44:06
SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, no, it makes a lot of sense when you think about my end goal.
• 1:44:08
SPEAKER_00: And my end goal is to be able to help out in any form of media, right?
• 1:44:12
SPEAKER_00: So like video, uh photography, music, yeah, uh editorial stuff, like journalism, writing books, making comics, like anything that a creative wants to do.
• 1:44:23
SPEAKER_00: That's what I want my company to be able to do to not maybe not the end goal, but this is where they could start.
• 1:44:28
SPEAKER_00: Like I want the legacy for my company would be anybody who wants to get into the industry, respective media industry, they could go to my company and they will help them like establish themselves, get their foot into the industry, make valuable connections with other people who are already well established, have a better way to get gigs or land deals or find partnerships and everything without doing or going through the struggles that everybody else does, where like, oh, I gotta like, I gotta go work like two jobs just to force this one piece of gear, and then hopefully be able to land one gig and get my name out there or do a bunch of free work to begin with.
• 1:45:03
SPEAKER_00: Like, do like I did like me personally, I did free work for like three years and everything.
• 1:45:09
SPEAKER_00: But like, and so that's something I want to make sure people don't want to do because that's another thing that a lot of people in the industry like agree on.
• 1:45:14
SPEAKER_00: They're like, Yeah, no, it really sucks having to do free work for so long, and then just hope that people will start paying you.
• 1:45:19
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 1:45:20
SPEAKER_00: So like my company will be like, no, like they are they're doing like we're helping them out, so like we'll find you gigs, like we can like not indoctrinate you, but like be like uh I endorse this person, like this photographer.
• 1:45:32
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like I I back them to do work for you so they have a better chance of like having paid work.
• 1:45:38
  SPEAKER_00: Endorsement opportunities.
• 1:45:39
  SPEAKER_00: I love that.
• 1:45:39
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 1:45:40
SPEAKER_00: So that's like the plan for the company, and just be not just do that in Arizona, but like I already have like I already envision it being in Texas and Washington, uh, California, Miami, like Florida, my I think Miami, but just yeah, you know, Georgia, like big places where like filming and like recordings are really big too.
• 1:45:57
SPEAKER_00: Because like the funny thing is a lot of people don't like know that Arizona's actually got really massive like production state.
• 1:46:03
  SPEAKER_00: Interesting.
• 1:46:04
SPEAKER_00: Like any like any western, that's most likely here, or Nevada, maybe.
• 1:46:07
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
• 1:46:08
SPEAKER_00: You know, um, so you know, that's really big.
• 1:46:10
SPEAKER_00: So I want to go to other like big hubs too like Washington.
• 1:46:13
SPEAKER_00: Washington is another really big production hub.
• 1:46:15
  SPEAKER_00: Interesting.
• 1:46:16
SPEAKER_00: People usually just think New York, California, but like you have Georgia too.
• 1:46:19
SPEAKER_00: Georgia's huge, they have you know massive uh recording studios and stuff there, production companies there and everything.
• 1:46:25
SPEAKER_00: Um, you know, so I want to go to like those hubs, you know, put myself there so people don't have to think, oh, I have to move to California to even have a chance of being like a filmmaker or anything, or I have to go to New York, you know.
• 1:46:37
  SPEAKER_00: Wow.
• 1:46:37
SPEAKER_00: I want to be able to have hubs in different places where people are like, I can stay in my home state and break into the industry.
• 1:46:43
SPEAKER_00: If I want to, I can move.
• 1:46:45
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, dude, I absolutely love that.
• 1:46:47
SPEAKER_03: And I think the cool thing is that your end goal is being of service to anyone who wants to get into media production and it's multiple tiered.
• 1:46:59
SPEAKER_03: And it seems like right now you're just putting in the reps and understanding what you need to understand by building a media company, going through that process, and then eventually having the rental arm of the company to then have the end goal when you have surplus to have the warehouse and to have the facilities to be able to serve those who you once were.
• 1:47:20
SPEAKER_03: Because we are here to serve those who we once were.
• 1:47:23
SPEAKER_03: Um, you know, and that's why I was spitting game earlier, because I'm here to serve once those who I once was.
• 1:47:30
  SPEAKER_03: Um so congratulations, man.

SPEAKER_03: I'm excited to see how it all unravels.
• 1:47:36
SPEAKER_03: And I think that the coolest thing about this show, and if you have been watching for an hour and 50 minutes and seven seconds, like you're invested.
• 1:47:45
SPEAKER_03: And if you're invested, I think that it's one thing to interview people that are already have done it, who's already who've made it.
• 1:47:53
SPEAKER_03: It's another thing to invest into and to watch someone grow from your perspective onwards, and to not cheer for a baseball team, not cheer for a basketball team, but cheer for an entrepreneur who's looking to make it and to do that and to be a part of it, whether you want to invest, whether you want to follow, you know, the journey, I think it's super powerful.
• 1:48:17
SPEAKER_03: And I don't think enough people follow entrepreneurs' journeys.
• 1:48:21
SPEAKER_03: And the entrepreneur journey is something that is absolutely phenomenal.
• 1:48:25
SPEAKER_03: And um, I actually had a YouTube series called The Entrepreneur Journey, and I filmed three years of my life and I put it on YouTube.
• 1:48:31
SPEAKER_03: And everything from the birth of my daughter to proposing to my wife to the office I had back in Alamo, California, to moving here to Arizona, I put all that out there, and um it may resurrect.
• 1:48:42
SPEAKER_03: Maybe we'll talk about production opportunities of what we could do with that.
• 1:48:46
SPEAKER_03: Um, but definitely appreciate y'all's time to be here through this process and you to he was here like 20 minutes early.
• 1:48:54
SPEAKER_03: I was like in a meeting for 10 minutes, and he was already here, and I was sending him a message.
• 1:48:59
SPEAKER_03: But I appreciate your tenacity not to just drive away and to stay here and then keep on knocking, keep on ringing, and then here we are.
• 1:49:08
SPEAKER_03: I can't believe it's been two hours, and um man, I'm excited for your future, bro.
• 1:49:13
SPEAKER_00: No, I can't, you know, I'm excited for it too, and I can't wait for to meet all the other people I get to meet through this journey because that's another thing in entrepreneurship is people you meet as well.
• 1:49:21
SPEAKER_00: When you're not like scared to like work out and make the connections, like this this amazing connection, like this was opportunity.
• 1:49:27
SPEAKER_00: I never thought I would be on a podcast, being, you know, yeah, so that's amazing, you know, and uh being able to see where it can go and I'll you know stick at it and everything, and of course there'll be some downfalls, but there'll be some amazing, you know, uh success and achievements along the way, too.
