- 0:02S1: The Oxford Dictionary defines the word gender as the male
- 0:04S1: sex or the female sex. Seems pretty straightforward, but given
- 0:07S1: that we live in an age of wokeism. Oxford tagged
- 0:10S1: on another line, saying or one of a range of
- 0:12S1: other identities that don't correspond to established ideas of male
- 0:16S1: and female. Thus begins the cultural chaos and upheaval.
- 0:20S2: Here to unpack present day issues from a biblical perspective
- 0:24S2: is Janet partial.
- 0:26S1: Despite the fact that modern day sirens are desperately trying
- 0:28S1: to lure our family ships to the rocks with the
- 0:31S1: intent of destroying that which God Himself created. Not everyone
- 0:35S1: is listening to those sirens. In fact, it's time for
- 0:37S1: those voices to be silenced and the culture to listen
- 0:40S1: to those sailing with precious cargo. A national telephone and
- 0:43S1: online poll were done by Rasmussen report on the topic
- 0:46S1: of transgenderism. They asked for straightforward questions on the topic
- 0:49S1: and compiled the results. The questions were do you agree
- 0:52S1: or disagree with this statement? There are two genders, male
- 0:54S1: and female. Some states have recently passed legislation making it
- 0:58S1: illegal to give hormone replacement therapy to minors. Do you
- 1:00S1: approve or disapprove of such laws? Some states have recently
- 1:03S1: passed legislation making it illegal to perform sex change surgery
- 1:07S1: on minors. Do you approve or disapprove of such laws? Lastly,
- 1:10S1: should schools and teachers be allowed to counsel students on
- 1:12S1: their sexual and gender identities without parental knowledge or consent?
- 1:16S1: By a 3 to 1 margin, Americans believe there are
- 1:20S1: only two genders and a majority support laws against transgender
- 1:23S1: treatment for minors. The survey found that 71% of American
- 1:27S1: adults agree with the statement that there are two genders,
- 1:30S1: male and female. Just 23% disagree. Parents rights are still important. 60%
- 1:36S1: reject the idea that school staff should be allowed to
- 1:38S1: usurp parental authority and counsel children about gender and sexual
- 1:41S1: identity without parental consent. Only 26% believe that school has
- 1:46S1: that authority. Doctor Miriam Grossman, a practicing child psychiatrist, testified
- 1:50S1: on Capitol Hill outlining the truth about transgenderism that activists
- 1:54S1: selectively ignore. Grounded in science, she noted, suicide of youth
- 1:58S1: with gender dysphoria is extremely rare. Gender dysphoria is a
- 2:01S1: psychiatric condition. There's no evidence that puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones
- 2:05S1: and gender surgeries are life saving or medically necessary in
- 2:08S1: the UK, Finland, Sweden and Norway. Now, they recommend exploratory
- 2:12S1: psychotherapy as the first line of treatment and have severely
- 2:15S1: restricted hormonal interventions. Those countries have done systemic reviews and
- 2:19S1: concluded that long term benefit from medical interventions has not
- 2:22S1: been established. While the risk of harm is significant and sadly,
- 2:26S1: in the U.S., young teens natural puberty are prevented. Girls
- 2:29S1: as young as 12 are having mastectomies, and minors are
- 2:32S1: also having genital surgeries. Americans are tired of the propaganda,
- 2:36S1: the mutilating surgeries and the continued violation of parental rights.
- 2:40S1: It's time we right the ships and sail our families
