- 0:00Speaker 1: Hello, gorgeous.
- 0:01Speaker 2: It's Lala Kent.
- 0:02Speaker 3: Welcome to Untraditionally Lala.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Hey you guys, it's la La Kent. Welcome back to.
- 0:09Speaker 3: The bonus episode of Untraditionally Lala.
- 0:12Speaker 2: I'm here with the Saving Grace Easton Burningham. Welcome.
- 0:16Speaker 3: I don't even know why I do that. Still, you're
- 0:17Speaker 3: my co host, buddy.
- 0:19Speaker 1: Well, some days I'm here, some days I'm not, and
- 0:21Speaker 1: it's pretty great.
- 0:21Speaker 2: That's what we talk about today.
- 0:25Speaker 3: We got this in the DMS and it actually made
- 0:27Speaker 3: me a little sad. Tell me so, this person said,
- 0:34Speaker 3: I would like to respectfully go toes with Laala.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Regarding reding recording.
- 0:41Speaker 3: What do I have to say regarding the past negative
- 0:44Speaker 3: comments on Mormons. I'm a huge Laala fan, but my
- 0:48Speaker 3: heart breaks whenever I hear Mormons being talked about in
- 0:50Speaker 3: a negative way.
- 0:52Speaker 1: All right, let's hear her out. Well that was it, Okay,
- 0:55Speaker 1: let's hear us out.
- 0:57Speaker 2: I want to say this.
- 0:59Speaker 3: I never want anybody to feel when I talk about things,
- 1:05Speaker 3: to take it as a personal attack. But how could
- 1:07Speaker 3: you not write if I'm going in on the Mormon
- 1:12Speaker 3: religion and the people who are a part of it
- 1:16Speaker 3: in a negative way, how could you not take that personally?
- 1:19Speaker 3: If you are a Mormon, I will say this, there
- 1:22Speaker 3: are very depending on where you are.
- 1:24Speaker 2: I grew up in Utah.
- 1:26Speaker 3: The Mormons in Utah are very I have met Mormons
- 1:31Speaker 3: across the country who are the most wonderful people I
- 1:37Speaker 3: have ever met in my life. The Mormons that live
- 1:40Speaker 3: in California beautiful, amazing, the kindest. Even in Utah, I
- 1:47Speaker 3: have met wonderful Mormons. You have to remember that when
- 1:51Speaker 3: I talk about this religion, take Mormon wives out of it.
- 1:55Speaker 3: That was my life growing up in that state, my
- 2:00Speaker 3: dad's entire family. So when I when I think of
- 2:03Speaker 3: Mormon's that is a very personal thing to me. I
- 2:06Speaker 3: go into a place of how my dad's side of
- 2:10Speaker 3: the family treated my dad, how my dad's side of
- 2:13Speaker 3: the family treated my mother, who was not Mormon, treated us,
- 2:18Speaker 3: my Mormon grandmother on her deathbed, and the things that
- 2:22Speaker 3: she said to my dad said to my mom. So
- 2:26Speaker 3: I make these blanketed statements which I should probably work on.
- 2:31Speaker 3: There's a lot of things. Let's just put this out there.
- 2:33Speaker 3: There's a lot of things that I should probably work on, guys.
- 2:35Speaker 3: But guess what, same with fucking you guys. I can't
- 2:37Speaker 3: be the only person.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Working on shit.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Well, I was just going to say, like at that point,
- 2:40Speaker 1: like my grandmother could have worked on a whole lot
- 2:43Speaker 1: of shit.
- 2:43Speaker 3: Yes, So when I make those blanketed statements, it comes
- 2:46Speaker 3: from a very deep rooted pain and experience that I
- 2:51Speaker 3: had with my own family members and just we're a
- 2:55Speaker 3: part of that time here.
- 2:56Speaker 1: We would go every Sunday to my dad's house and
- 2:59Speaker 1: when I tell you, there were over thirty five people
- 3:04Speaker 1: every weekend, Like it was a huge family. We were
- 3:07Speaker 1: embedded in this shit and we had fun. I think cool,
- 3:10Speaker 1: the whole family. That should tell you everything. The whole
- 3:12Speaker 1: family on the wall, white T shirts and the whole shit.
- 3:16Speaker 1: So there you go, photo shoot. We were embedded in
- 3:18Speaker 1: this shit. Yeah, when we were strang she might be
- 3:21Speaker 1: different than ours, but our story, I think is not
- 3:25Speaker 1: that oft from a lot of others.
- 3:27Speaker 3: As we got older, things as a little kid, it
- 3:30Speaker 3: was like the funnest place to go, right with Sunday
- 3:33Speaker 3: dinners at Grandma's house, all of the cousins. As we
- 3:36Speaker 3: got older, Easton and I my mom started not going
- 3:39Speaker 3: anymore and I would start clocking little comments that were made.
- 3:43Speaker 2: I then had a boyfriend.
- 3:45Speaker 3: My uncle at the time was now the bishop at
- 3:48Speaker 3: a church, and he was always the coolest one. But
- 3:50Speaker 3: he was like, I have a really cute guy for you.
- 3:52Speaker 3: And I was like, ooh, tell me more. And he
- 3:54Speaker 3: was like, if you convert to Mormonism and you get baptized,
- 3:58Speaker 3: I will introduce you.
- 4:00Speaker 2: But like that where it's like, well, that's a little
- 4:02Speaker 2: fucking weird.
- 4:03Speaker 3: So I want to apologize to this woman because not
- 4:07Speaker 3: all Mormons are the same. I do have a tough
- 4:12Speaker 3: Uh it's hard for me to swallow religion as a whole,
- 4:16Speaker 3: any organized religion because of what I experienced the documentary,
- 4:22Speaker 3: the documentaries, and then we got Mormon Wives where we
- 4:24Speaker 3: watch these young girls kind of fucking crash out because
- 4:28Speaker 3: the religion.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Yeah, the backlash and the guilt and not living under
- 4:34Speaker 1: the Mormon religion and everything that they stand for. It's
- 4:38Speaker 1: like Jesus.
- 4:38Speaker 3: But then, by the way, I had a woman who
- 4:41Speaker 3: was like a second mom to me growing up who
- 4:44Speaker 3: who the Mormon Church ended up really saving her soul.
- 4:50Speaker 1: Yeah. I know a lot of people that, Uh, here's
- 4:54Speaker 1: the thing. Everyone's different. Religions are different, and everybody's gonna
- 4:59Speaker 1: like a different religion That's what's so great about it
- 5:01Speaker 1: is everyone especially on me there. It is because I'm me.
- 5:05Speaker 3: If you want to educate me, I want to be educated.
- 5:07Speaker 2: I want to know about it.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Impressed me on it. But this is why I really
- 5:11Speaker 1: enjoy it and how we grew up. If I start
- 5:15Speaker 1: to see you lighting up and talking about what it's
- 5:17Speaker 1: done for you, maybe I'll go, could I attend one
- 5:20Speaker 1: with you? But if you're like you're pushing it now,
- 5:24Speaker 1: I'm out. Don't ask me questions.
- 5:27Speaker 3: Mormon Wives is so poppin' that they just announced that
- 5:32Speaker 3: they're having Mormon Wives Orange County.
- 5:34Speaker 2: What was the what was the response to that?
- 5:36Speaker 1: Dead silence in the crowd? Dead serious on that too,
- 5:40Speaker 1: Like really yeah, dead fucking silence almost like what do
- 5:44Speaker 1: you mean the crowd? Because they introduced all of these
- 5:47Speaker 1: shows at the Hulu like Hulu event where there's all
- 5:50Speaker 1: these people and so it's the it's like Miranda Layla
- 5:55Speaker 1: and Jesse and all of the original Utah Mormon Wives
- 6:00Speaker 1: MHM introducing them and they're like and here they are
- 6:03Speaker 1: Orange County and they start walking in and they go
- 6:05Speaker 1: up on stage and like they're dead silent on their mics. No, cheering.
- 6:10Speaker 1: It's the most awkward thing in the world.
- 6:13Speaker 2: Yeah, but I think you got it for me. For me.
- 6:16Speaker 2: I think people are going to warm up to it.
- 6:18Speaker 1: I mean, yes, I'm just saying it was just the
- 6:20Speaker 1: how they revealed it was weird. Everybody made it weird.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Will it be good? Maybe? Probably? But I won't be
- 6:27Speaker 1: watching Okay, that's fine. Yeah, well, I don't watch anything.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Somewhere you go, I'll be watching sports. Sports.
- 6:34Speaker 2: By the way, did you see that Lenny Kravitz.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Daughter is doing? Daughter?
- 6:40Speaker 2: Yeah, Zoey.
- 6:41Speaker 1: She's such a bitch. She's very she's unique looking.
- 6:48Speaker 2: That cool.
- 6:50Speaker 1: That cool. That's called aura. You just man, your dad
- 6:57Speaker 1: gave it to you and you're doing well with it.
- 7:00Speaker 1: And your mom, well, her mom has to be hot.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Who's your mom?
- 7:04Speaker 2: Lisa Bonet? Where do you live? She was married to.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Jason giving me a bonet? I'm repulsed. You sick. Fuck
- 7:16Speaker 1: we're here, we're we're partying.
- 7:18Speaker 2: You have single handedly brought me out of my depression.
- 7:21Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 7:34Speaker 3: Anyway, back to Holly Kravitz, Okay.
- 7:39Speaker 2: Allegedly.
- 7:41Speaker 3: She's engaged to Harry Styles after eight months of dating.
- 7:45Speaker 2: When you know, you know, I was just gonna say that.
- 7:48Speaker 2: When did I When did I go from being such
- 7:51Speaker 2: a cold hearted bitch to.
- 7:53Speaker 3: Like when you know, you know, like now when people
- 7:55Speaker 3: tell me after one date, I knew I was going
- 7:58Speaker 3: to marry that person.
- 7:58Speaker 2: I'm like, I know that feeling.
- 8:00Speaker 1: I know that feelings.
- 8:01Speaker 3: I see people get married have babies for how okay, Well,
- 8:08Speaker 3: so she was engaged to Channing Tatum?
- 8:10Speaker 1: How long before that break off?
- 8:13Speaker 2: Eight months ago? Just kidding, I see nothing wrong with it.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Hey, with who she is? Quick, she knows who she
- 8:25Speaker 1: is with that aura, she knows who she is.
- 8:27Speaker 2: And by the way, if you get married.
- 8:32Speaker 1: You can get divorced. Actually, fuck it. It's a couple
- 8:35Speaker 1: of signatures, right, No, with some money, but if you
- 8:40Speaker 1: do it right.
- 8:40Speaker 2: Yeah, she's already been divorced. She's who hasn't I don't know?
- 8:44Speaker 1: So like third one is a charm? Maybe right? Is
- 8:47Speaker 1: this her second or third?
- 8:48Speaker 2: It'll be her second marriage.
- 8:50Speaker 1: So maybe this won't last, but the third one will.
- 8:53Speaker 1: And maybe she was dating like Easton Birmingham or something
- 8:56Speaker 1: on her third She.
- 8:58Speaker 2: Just wants a regular old Joe.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Hey, I can make you laugh here and there, you can.
- 9:05Speaker 1: I know, I just need a lot of money and
- 9:06Speaker 1: then maybe I'll get laid.
- 9:08Speaker 3: Oh by the way, though, is like, no, no, it's
- 9:16Speaker 3: my next lifetime.
- 9:17Speaker 2: I need to have a dick, like I just want one.
- 9:21Speaker 1: No, Can I be honest, If it were a choice
- 9:24Speaker 1: every day, I'd pick a penis what you guys go through? No, no, no,
- 9:28Speaker 1: I would pick a penis. Sometimes I wake up and
- 9:30Speaker 1: I brush my teeth and I'll leave halfway through the
- 9:33Speaker 1: damn like I even put the odor in on man's
- 9:36Speaker 1: a man, that's disgusting.
- 9:38Speaker 3: But as you get older, I do feel like you
- 9:42Speaker 3: start well at least I have for me, for me,
- 9:46Speaker 3: all of.
- 9:46Speaker 2: The things that and this is.
- 9:49Speaker 3: Obviously a part of my trauma obviously, and I've spoken
- 9:53Speaker 3: about this before.
- 9:54Speaker 1: You have trauma.
- 9:57Speaker 2: A dude with like money and power that scares me.
- 10:07Speaker 2: And I don't know when I want that.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Well, you know where.
- 10:12Speaker 3: I'm like, No, I'm gonna need to, like, I gotta
- 10:16Speaker 3: be with someone who's either like right where I am.
- 10:20Speaker 3: You have to at least be able if I'm like,
- 10:23Speaker 3: let's go to Hawaii, Like I don't really want to
- 10:25Speaker 3: flip the bill for you because I got a whole
- 10:27Speaker 3: entire family, Like I need you to be able to like.
- 10:30Speaker 2: That for yourself.
- 10:32Speaker 1: No, you don't.
- 10:32Speaker 2: You don't have to pay for me. A lot of
- 10:35Speaker 2: fucking money and power.
- 10:37Speaker 1: I want a lot of money.
- 10:39Speaker 3: Makes me a little nervous because if it doesn't work out,
- 10:44Speaker 3: which it hasn't for me, for me where I feel
- 10:50Speaker 3: like under the thumb a little bit hands around the neck,
- 10:53Speaker 3: I don't love that feeling. Yeah, and maybe if I
- 10:56Speaker 3: didn't have a baby and may yeah, I don't know.
- 11:01Speaker 2: I don't know what the fuck.
- 11:02Speaker 1: I just want a lot of money. No power, that's it.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Just money equals power. I think, Well, you're never gonna
- 11:08Speaker 1: know I have it. I'm just gonna no I have it.
- 11:12Speaker 3: I know you well enough to know if you had
- 11:15Speaker 3: a fuck ton of money, we.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Would all know it.
- 11:17Speaker 1: With my closing cars, yes, yeah, would I post?

- 11:21Speaker 2: What else is there?
- 11:22Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 11:22Speaker 2: The posting Instagram would be the first.
- 11:23Speaker 1: Thing to go. Oh yes, all of it?
- 11:26Speaker 2: Really?
- 11:27Speaker 1: Yes, I would make like just.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Like even with your session with TikTok.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Yes, burner accounts, I don't need to post. I just
- 11:33Speaker 1: like to swape.
- 11:34Speaker 3: You don't have a Burner account now and don't post.
- 11:36Speaker 3: So Eason is living the same life if you had money?
- 11:39Speaker 1: Oh yeah, all right, Yeah, if you got. If I
- 11:41Speaker 1: had money, no one would know the difference. I wouldn't

- 13:09Speaker 1: But I always fall asleep. And then my biggest pain
- 13:11Speaker 1: in the ass is like going back and seeing what
- 13:13Speaker 1: episode I fucking remember, and then it's like, it gives
- 13:16Speaker 1: you a recap. That's what I love.
