- 0:01Speaker 1: Jess Shy of nineteen thousand fans at the two in
- 0:04Speaker 1: London tonight, aw had for what was the highest wrestling
- 0:09Speaker 1: audience ever in that building, beating out money in the bank.
- 0:12Speaker 1: Two years ago that was for Forbidden Door. The show
- 0:16Speaker 1: is called Forbidden Door, and honestly, of all the Forbidden
- 0:20Speaker 1: Door shows they've done, I believe this is now the
- 0:23Speaker 1: third one, right, third or fourth one, this is the
- 0:25Speaker 1: one that felt the least like Forbidden Door. And at
- 0:30Speaker 1: one point three years ago it felt like a novelty
- 0:33Speaker 1: because we had all of these talents coming in from
- 0:37Speaker 1: other promotions, mainly New Japan. But now it's CMLL and
- 0:40Speaker 1: it's Stardom, and it's this revolving door of talent, and
- 0:43Speaker 1: it was a very novel concept for a major promotion
- 0:45Speaker 1: here in this country to be bringing in talent in
- 0:48Speaker 1: that way and featuring them from other promotions, and so
- 0:51Speaker 1: it was kind of a cool concept. And you can
- 0:53Speaker 1: get some matches that you otherwise would never be able
- 0:56Speaker 1: to see. And the thing is aw now on a
- 0:59Speaker 1: weekly base, is basically opens the forbidden door. The forbidden
- 1:02Speaker 1: door never closes, and when that happens, it's no longer forbidden.
- 1:07Speaker 1: So the show loses a little something special because of that.
- 1:09Speaker 1: Now they put nineteen thousand people in the building tonight.
- 1:12Speaker 1: They did, you know, I'm sure a huge gate. They
- 1:14Speaker 1: made a lot of money off of it. Tony Kan
- 1:17Speaker 1: is not going to stop doing it, but probably doesn't
- 1:20Speaker 1: need to be a forbidden door anymore since we get
- 1:22Speaker 1: it on a regular basis here. This show tonight was.
- 1:27Speaker 1: When this show was over, it was a good show.
- 1:31Speaker 1: It was a good show because we had a lot
- 1:32Speaker 1: of really good wrestling on this show. That's your thing.
- 1:36Speaker 1: You got tons of matches on the show tonight. Even
- 1:38Speaker 1: the pre show had four matches, and they tried to
- 1:40Speaker 1: stuff as many people in there as they possibly could.
- 1:43Speaker 1: There was some very good wrestling on the show tonight,
- 1:45Speaker 1: some solid wrestling. This was not a show that when
- 1:49Speaker 1: it was over, I came away from it thinking, you
- 1:51Speaker 1: know what, that was a great show. This was one
- 1:54Speaker 1: of the best AW shows of the year. It wasn't
- 1:57Speaker 1: we had a main event tonight of ten It was.
- 2:02Speaker 1: It was five on five ten men, lights out steel
- 2:04Speaker 1: cage match that was technically the main event, and we
- 2:08Speaker 1: had the AW World Championship on the line as well.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Hang Man Adam Page and MJF what we had in
- 2:14Speaker 1: this main event. It was Will Ospray and his team
- 2:16Speaker 1: with Darby Allen and Hiroshi Tanahashi and Kenny Omega and
- 2:20Speaker 1: Cody Abushi, who we have not seen since all in Texas.
- 2:23Speaker 1: They have not made a single appearance all together, all
- 2:26Speaker 1: of Osprey's friends taking on John Moxley and Claudio and
- 2:30Speaker 1: Gabe Kid from New Japan and the Young Bucks. And
- 2:34Speaker 1: this was Osprey's last match before he goes away for
- 2:37Speaker 1: a while. And the big story coming into this match
- 2:39Speaker 1: had to do with will Osprey's health. He's been giving
- 2:41Speaker 1: interviews all week long to CBS Sports and this outlet
- 2:45Speaker 1: and that outlet, talking about his neck and talking about
- 2:48Speaker 1: the the discs that are compromised, as he says, in
- 2:52Speaker 1: his neck, and he's going to be going under the knife.
- 2:56Speaker 1: You know, he doesn't know when he doesn't know, you know,
- 2:58Speaker 1: what his future looks like. But that was really the
- 3:00Speaker 1: story going into this match. And it's not just a storyline,
- 3:04Speaker 1: it's legit. You know, he is hurt and we are
- 3:06Speaker 1: not going to see him for a while. So coming
- 3:09Speaker 1: into the show, it sounded kind of crazy that they
- 3:12Speaker 1: were even allowing him to be in the ring, and
- 3:13Speaker 1: as it turned out, he didn't even do the craziest
- 3:16Speaker 1: stuff in that match when it was over. Even though
- 3:17Speaker 1: he was left laying at the end of the show,
- 3:19Speaker 1: he came out of it a hell of a lot
- 3:20Speaker 1: better than most of the other people in that match,
- 3:22Speaker 1: including Darby Allen. Darby Allen more than made up for
- 3:25Speaker 1: whatever will Osprey couldn't do and said, don't worry, I
- 3:28Speaker 1: got you covered. And Darby was doing Darby things in
- 3:32Speaker 1: that main event. But the Babyfaces go over. Will Osprey
- 3:35Speaker 1: looks like he's going to get this grand sendoff here
- 3:37Speaker 1: in London, thirty minutes from where he lives, the last
- 3:41Speaker 1: time we're going to see him for a while. And
- 3:43Speaker 1: then we got to get heat, so they did a
- 3:45Speaker 1: beatdown angle. Now, this cage that they had tonight, it
- 3:49Speaker 1: encompassed the entire almost the entire ringside area, didn't encompass
- 3:52Speaker 1: the announced desks, but it was more than just the ring,
- 3:55Speaker 1: and it wasn't a very tall cage, but again it
- 3:58Speaker 1: gave them a little more breathing room to do some
- 4:01Speaker 1: crazy shit. Osprey is the only babyface who is left
- 4:05Speaker 1: in this cage. He is attacked by the heels the
- 4:08Speaker 1: other babyfaces have been locked out, and this is the
- 4:12Speaker 1: angle that they did here at the end of the show,
- 4:13Speaker 1: they're doing a beatdown angle on will Ospray and I'm
- 4:17Speaker 1: watching this and I'm seeing all these babyfaces on the outside,
- 4:20Speaker 1: powerless to do anything about it. They are powerless to
- 4:24Speaker 1: come in and help this man. Even though there was
- 4:26Speaker 1: no roof on this cage, even though Marina Shaffir just
- 4:30Speaker 1: climbed from the outside into the cage. The babyfaces are
- 4:35Speaker 1: They're helpless, They're stuck on the outside. The door is locked,
- 4:37Speaker 1: it's padlocked shut. There's nothing they can do except for Wheeler.
- 4:40Speaker 1: Yuda is there with a kendo stick in his hand,
- 4:42Speaker 1: trying to fend off anybody who might attempt to climb
- 4:46Speaker 1: into the cage. Of course nobody did, by the way,
- 4:48Speaker 1: nobody did attempt to climb into the cage. And then
- 4:50Speaker 1: eventually the ops Saboa Joe and Powerhouse Hobs and Katiyori Shabada,
- 4:54Speaker 1: they run out and finally somebody says, oh, you know what,
- 4:57Speaker 1: we could lift the cage, and so somebody in the
- 5:00Speaker 1: production crew decide, hey, I could push a button here
- 5:02Speaker 1: and the cage will go up. And then they came
- 5:05Speaker 1: to the aid of will Osprey, but it was too
- 5:06Speaker 1: late because he had a chair wrapped around his neck
- 5:09Speaker 1: and it was stomped on. The same thing they did
- 5:11Speaker 1: to Samoa Joe in Texas, the same thing they did
- 5:13Speaker 1: to will Osprey. Actually in Texas. They did it to
- 5:15Speaker 1: him again here, although we saw Osprey back on TV
- 5:19Speaker 1: two weeks later, So by that logic, I don't know
- 5:22Speaker 1: why we're supposed to care about them stomping on a
- 5:25Speaker 1: chair when will Osprey was already back two weeks later
- 5:27Speaker 1: the last time they did it. But it was a
- 5:29Speaker 1: very it was a very goofy angle, watching all the
- 5:33Speaker 1: babyfaces mill around outside as if they were powerless to
- 5:36Speaker 1: do anything about what was going on. Not the only
- 5:39Speaker 1: goofy thing on the show tonight. It was an angle. Frankly,
- 5:43Speaker 1: I didn't even think really needed to happen. They made
- 5:45Speaker 1: the decision that they wanted to put heat on him
- 5:47Speaker 1: because he's leaving anyway, and so let's we'll put some
- 5:50Speaker 1: heat on the death Riders. You had to get something
- 5:53Speaker 1: out of it. They would have been better off just allowing, honestly,
- 5:56Speaker 1: allowing Osprey to just have his sendoff, have the heels win,
- 6:01Speaker 1: have the heels win and then have Osbury stand up
- 6:03Speaker 1: and get the nice send off and go off the
- 6:05Speaker 1: air that way. I just didn't think it was an
- 6:06Speaker 1: angle that needed to happen in the first place. But
- 6:09Speaker 1: that was very, very silly watching that. We had Hangman
- 6:13Speaker 1: Page on this show defending the AW World Championship against MJF,
- 6:17Speaker 1: who still has his Casino Gauntlet contract. Because he originally
- 6:21Speaker 1: said that, Okay, you know what, I'm going to cash
- 6:23Speaker 1: in my contract. That's how I'm going to get this
- 6:25Speaker 1: title match. Then they change their mind and they probably realized, Okay,
- 6:29Speaker 1: this is really stupid, so let's not do that, and
- 6:33Speaker 1: instead we'll have him threaten to burn Mark Briscoe alive
- 6:36Speaker 1: until Hangman gives him what he wants. So they were
- 6:38Speaker 1: able to kind of back out of what they had
- 6:40Speaker 1: gotten themselves into. So he had that as an insurance policy.
- 6:45Speaker 1: His contract was not utilized tonight, and that made it
- 6:49Speaker 1: a little more obvious he was probably not going to
- 6:51Speaker 1: win the championship tonight, and he didn't. Hangman Page is
- 6:54Speaker 1: still the AW World Champion, but MJF still has that contract.
- 6:58Speaker 1: And by the way, Hangman at MJF match on the
- 7:00Speaker 1: entire show that was my favorite match of the night
- 7:04Speaker 1: easily out of everything on the entire show, and that
- 7:06Speaker 1: is despite some of the goofiness that we had in
- 7:08Speaker 1: that match and the overbooking in that match. MJF still
- 7:12Speaker 1: has his contract. Athena does not. She did cash in
- 7:16Speaker 1: her Casino Gauntlet contract for her match with Tony Storm.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Tony Storm not only beat Athena but got her to
- 7:21Speaker 1: tap out and timeless. Tony Storm is still the AW
- 7:25Speaker 1: Women's World Champion. Now this contract stuff. I have said before,
- 7:32Speaker 1: I am sick of the cash ins. I'm sick of
- 7:36Speaker 1: the money in the bank cash ins. I wish they
- 7:38Speaker 1: would do away with it for a while. They're not
- 7:40Speaker 1: going to because it's still a very popular show. I
- 7:42Speaker 1: get it, I understand it, but I'm sick of it.
- 7:45Speaker 1: And I'm no less sick of it when AW does
- 7:47Speaker 1: the same thing and copies the exact same idea, and
- 7:50Speaker 1: Tony Kahan has gotten a lot of feedback from fans
- 7:52Speaker 1: telling him the same thing. Why are you copying them?
- 7:54Speaker 1: Why are you copying money in the bank. It's not
- 7:57Speaker 1: a great concept to begin with, because it's been beaten
- 7:59Speaker 1: to death. Why why are you doing the same thing
- 8:01Speaker 1: where you can cash in anytime you want for a
- 8:03Speaker 1: championship match. He addressed this in the post show scrum
- 8:07Speaker 1: after the pay per view. I just want to read
- 8:08Speaker 1: to you from what Tony Kah had to say about this.
- 8:11Speaker 1: He said, I want aw to be different, and I've
- 8:14Speaker 1: been listening to the feedback and the voice of the fans,
- 8:17Speaker 1: and I think people want the championships in the sport
- 8:19Speaker 1: of pro wrestling to have integrity. Of course, that's hard
- 8:24Speaker 1: to do when you have fifteen championships, but that's beside
- 8:27Speaker 1: the point. I don't want to have a big ticket
- 8:29Speaker 1: championship match that we are unable to advertise, and also
- 8:32Speaker 1: I don't really want to necessarily utilize a stipulation here
- 8:36Speaker 1: that is being utilized other places. That's why going forward,
- 8:41Speaker 1: I want to set the tone that from now on,
- 8:43Speaker 1: I think the right thing to do is all contract
- 8:45Speaker 1: executions should be on at least a week's notice so
- 8:49Speaker 1: that we can properly promote the matches, so that we
- 8:52Speaker 1: can properly give the fans notice and have the integrity
- 8:56Speaker 1: of a championship match. Now, I don't know if that
- 8:59Speaker 1: ap lies to mjf's contracts. I don't know if this
- 9:03Speaker 1: is retroactive and it includes his contract or if this
- 9:06Speaker 1: is just my impression was that it's going forward when
- 9:10Speaker 1: they do future casino Gauntlets, so that I didn't get
- 9:13Speaker 1: any clarity on that, but that's the way to go.
- 9:17Speaker 1: That's the way to go. At least try if you're
- 9:20Speaker 1: gonna do it, differentiate it in some way instead of
- 9:22Speaker 1: doing the you know, sneaking in after the match is
- 9:26Speaker 1: over and cashing. It's just so overplayed. So if he's
- 9:30Speaker 1: going to utilize that as a stipulation, I like that
- 9:33Speaker 1: at least change it up. At least he recognizes, you
- 9:35Speaker 1: know what, we don't need to do it exactly the
- 9:37Speaker 1: way that they do it. That that doesn't even make
- 9:40Speaker 1: it a great idea to begin with. So we'll have
- 9:43Speaker 1: a one week race period so that we can at
- 9:45Speaker 1: least promote this big championship, which I thought was what
- 9:48Speaker 1: they were doing originally when they started doing this. Unless
- 9:51Speaker 1: I'm just misremembering, but that's the way to go. So
- 9:54Speaker 1: that was the update on Tony Kahn as far as
- 9:56Speaker 1: future Casino Gauntlet contracts concerned. Again, that's going forward Wardlow
- 10:04Speaker 1: is back. Remember him. I had almost forgotten about him.
- 10:09Speaker 1: I forgot he even existed. Wardlow returned on the show
- 10:12Speaker 1: tonight and he has joined another faction that you would
- 10:16Speaker 1: think he would have learned his lesson having been a
- 10:18Speaker 1: part of multiple factions in the past and it usually
- 10:21Speaker 1: doesn't end very well for him. But now he's part
- 10:23Speaker 1: of another group and we'll talk about what that group is.
- 10:26Speaker 1: Jamie Hater is back as well. They held out on
- 10:29Speaker 1: her return here for the Big UK show. People were
- 10:31Speaker 1: very happy to see her. I was very happy to
- 10:33Speaker 1: see her. She'll be a nice shot in the arm
- 10:35Speaker 1: in a women's division that is loaded with a lot
- 10:38Speaker 1: of talent, but they have been besieged by injuries. And
- 10:41Speaker 1: not just in the women's division, but they have been
- 10:43Speaker 1: besieged by injuries in that division as well, which is
- 10:45Speaker 1: the reason why Tony Khan is held out on having
- 10:48Speaker 1: AW women's tag team titles. Those titles are made, they're
- 10:52Speaker 1: ready to go. He has said this before, but a
- 10:55Speaker 1: lot of people got hurt. Mina Shirikawa got hurt. Multiple
- 10:59Speaker 1: people got hurt, including Jamie Hayter. But now as they
- 11:02Speaker 1: start to get some of them back, we'll probably end
- 11:04Speaker 1: up with more titles in AW. The matches tonight on
- 11:10Speaker 1: this show were solid to very good. They ranged from
- 11:13Speaker 1: you know, pretty much between those two measures. But when
- 11:17Speaker 1: the show was over, I just I didn't feel this
- 11:19Speaker 1: overwhelming sense of man, this was a great show. You know,
- 11:23Speaker 1: I've seen some great aw pay per views. This will
- 11:28Speaker 1: not rank is one of the best that they've done,
- 11:31Speaker 1: even this year. But I thought for the most part
- 11:33Speaker 1: it was good. Again. The forbidden Door aspect of the show,
- 11:36Speaker 1: for me, it doesn't do anything for me anymore. It's
- 11:39Speaker 1: played out. It's passe a. We get forbidden Door every week.
- 11:43Speaker 1: I wouldn't mind if they just junk the show altogether.
- 11:45Speaker 1: If they want to have a show where you bring
- 11:47Speaker 1: in a few international talents to have, you know, two
- 11:50Speaker 1: or three matches on the show, that's fine. That doesn't
- 11:52Speaker 1: make a forbidden door. There's nothing forbidden about it. And
- 11:55Speaker 1: Tony Kahan should be very happy about the fact that
- 11:57Speaker 1: he was the big promoter here in North of America,
- 12:00Speaker 1: at least on a national scale. Who you know has
- 12:03Speaker 1: television the way he does. Who really kicked that door
- 12:05Speaker 1: open in a major way, you know, and and started
- 12:09Speaker 1: having matches like this again on pay per view. That's great,
- 12:12Speaker 1: but there's really nothing forbidden about it anymore. It's been years,
- 12:16Speaker 1: so that aspect of it to me is just very
- 12:19Speaker 1: played out. That bloom is off the roads as far
- 12:21Speaker 1: as that goes, but very up and down on some
- 12:24Speaker 1: of the stuff that happened here on the show, we'll
- 12:26Speaker 1: go through the whole thing. This is your Forbidden Door
- 12:28Speaker 1: Review twenty twenty five. I am the Solemn Monster, a
- 12:32Speaker 1: little later than I wanted to go live. I have
- 12:33Speaker 1: good reason for it, though. Take a look at this.
- 12:36Speaker 1: I've been dealing with this all weekend. Look at my
- 12:39Speaker 1: little wasp friends over here. Hello, there's the yellowjackets. Look
- 12:44Speaker 1: at all the bodies. This has been an absolute nightmare,
- 12:48Speaker 1: and I have been waiting for an exterminator to show
- 12:51Speaker 1: upet That guy was very angry with me. He's looking
- 12:55Speaker 1: right at me. He was ready to sting my eyeballs out,
- 13:00Speaker 1: but I got him first before he could get to me.
- 13:03Speaker 1: So I will tell you I'm still waiting on an
- 13:05Speaker 1: exterminator to show up, and he might actually be here now,
- 13:10Speaker 1: so I cannot guarantee that I may not have to
- 13:12Speaker 1: duck out here for five minutes. I was holding out
- 13:16Speaker 1: as long as I could. He was supposed to be
- 13:17Speaker 1: here an hour ago, and like the cable guy, of course,
- 13:20Speaker 1: never shows up on time. So do I have a hive?
- 13:24Speaker 1: Obviously I've got something hidden somewhere. They've opened the Forbidden
- 13:29Speaker 1: Door and they have created a nest or a colony.
- 13:32Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure the entry point is outside the house,
- 13:35Speaker 1: in the brick, and they have burrowed their way in
- 13:39Speaker 1: and they have made their way up to the apartment upstairs.
- 13:43Speaker 1: So yeah, it's staying. I haven't been stung yet. But
- 13:47Speaker 1: I'll tell you what man, I would say from the
- 13:50Speaker 1: time Forbidden Door started the main card to the time
- 13:54Speaker 1: that that show ended. It was four and a half
- 13:56Speaker 1: hours of this pay per view tonight, and that wasn't
- 13:58Speaker 1: even the longest a show of the year. But I
- 14:01Speaker 1: would say from the moment this show started to the
- 14:03Speaker 1: moment it ended, I probably killed close to one hundred
- 14:06Speaker 1: of them. Today was the worst day of them all.
- 14:10Speaker 1: It was bad on Thursday, it got worse Friday yesterday.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Now today it's like it's a graveyard. You should see
- 14:18Speaker 1: my little handback. It's like it's an absolute graveyard. So yeah,
- 14:23Speaker 1: it's not been fun. But anyway, that's why we ended
- 14:26Speaker 1: up going live late. Here. I'm just beside myself, but
- 14:30Speaker 1: you don't have to worry about that, because you're safe
- 14:32Speaker 1: and sound wherever you are. Now. We had the zero
- 14:35Speaker 1: hour pre show had four matches. I'm going to run
- 14:39Speaker 1: through this as quickly as I possibly can, as far
- 14:41Speaker 1: as the pre show because whatever we had Roderick struck.
- 14:46Speaker 1: This was Tony con trying to fit as many people
- 14:48Speaker 1: as he possibly could here on this pre show. So
- 14:51Speaker 1: we had Roderick Shaw and Kylo Riley, Yuya Yui Mura
- 14:55Speaker 1: from New Japan and El Desperado. They beat Leo Rush,
- 14:59Speaker 1: Action Andretti, Josh Alexander and et Cicero. When the match
- 15:04Speaker 1: was over, Lance Archer and Rocky Romero, they joined the
- 15:06Speaker 1: Heels in attacking the baby Faces. Tomohiro Ische made his
- 15:11Speaker 1: way out to the ring and is She and Archer.
- 15:14Speaker 1: They traded elbow strikes. Is She got the better of
- 15:16Speaker 1: the exchange. He hit a stalling what ex Caliber said
- 15:20Speaker 1: was a brainbuster. It was not. It was a stalling suplex.
- 15:26Speaker 1: No less impressive that he was able to hold Archer
- 15:28Speaker 1: up there for a good five seconds, but it was
- 15:32Speaker 1: not a brain buster. Ricochet and the Gates of Agony.
- 15:37Speaker 1: They beat Speedball, Mike Bailey, Kevin Knight, and Michael Oku. Now,
- 15:44Speaker 1: there was a lot of crazy shit that happened in
- 15:46Speaker 1: the main event tonight with Osprey and Darby and his
- 15:49Speaker 1: blooding gore and all the shit that Moxley and aw
- 15:52Speaker 1: you know, the sickos and the fans love. So we
- 15:55Speaker 1: had a lot of really crazy shit and dangerous bumps
- 15:58Speaker 1: in the main event. None of them was the craziest
- 16:02Speaker 1: bump of the night. Believe it or not. We saw
- 16:04Speaker 1: people go through stacked tables and all kinds of craziness.
- 16:08Speaker 1: The bump of the night unintentionally came in this match
- 16:14Speaker 1: where someone almost died and it was Michael Oku. Now,
- 16:17Speaker 1: Michael Oku, very talented young star out of the UK,
- 16:21Speaker 1: obviously being in the UK tonight, everybody was very happy
- 16:24Speaker 1: to see Michael Oku and too Leona up the gates
- 16:29Speaker 1: of agony. At one point he hit Oku with a pounce.
- 16:34Speaker 1: I've seen some pounces in my day, I ain't seen
- 16:37Speaker 1: no pounds like this. He pounced Michael Oku out over
- 16:43Speaker 1: the He cleared the top rope backwards and he goes
- 16:48Speaker 1: flying out of the ring and he damned near lands
- 16:51Speaker 1: right on top of his head because his body is
- 16:53Speaker 1: rotating in mid air, so it looks like he's about
- 16:56Speaker 1: to come straight down on his fucking head. At the
- 16:59Speaker 1: very last second, he altered his movement. It looked like
- 17:03Speaker 1: he landed face first on the floor, which honestly isn't
- 17:06Speaker 1: much better, but it's better than landing on top of
- 17:08Speaker 1: your fucking head. Everybody in the audience gasped, The announcers gasped.
- 17:14Speaker 1: I gasped. I'm like, is he alive? I mean, I
- 17:18Speaker 1: was sitting here. I was scared to death initially, because
- 17:20Speaker 1: again it was it was scary. It was the scariest
- 17:23Speaker 1: moment in the night, and it happened on the fucking
- 17:25Speaker 1: pre show. I don't know how he was able to
- 17:27Speaker 1: continue and finish that match. I mean, he looked a
- 17:29Speaker 1: little loopy at first, but otherwise he was able to
- 17:32Speaker 1: continue and he went on and my god, that's just
- 17:37Speaker 1: absolute insanity. If you didn't see it, you can go
- 17:40Speaker 1: back and check it out. But I mean, whether it
- 17:43Speaker 1: was the pre show or the main card, that was
- 17:47Speaker 1: scary all the same. And he's a very, very lucky man.
- 17:51Speaker 1: The finish went over like a wet fart because the
- 17:54Speaker 1: fans were not happy about Ricochet pinning Oku. Maybe out
- 17:58Speaker 1: of this we'll get a singles match at some point
- 18:00Speaker 1: between Rikoshet and Michael Oak who maybe that's what this
- 18:02Speaker 1: is leading to. I don't know, but seriously, that bump
- 18:05Speaker 1: was so dangerous and stupid and he's just lucky to
- 18:10Speaker 1: be in one piece. Tecla, Julia Hart, Sky Blue and
- 18:16Speaker 1: Megan Bain beat Willow Nightingale, Harley Cameron, Chris Statlander, and
- 18:20Speaker 1: Queen am Nada after Bain ducked the clothes line from Statlander,
- 18:25Speaker 1: who then accidentally hit Willow, and that led into the
- 18:28Speaker 1: finish with Bain pinning Harley Cameron. You know, at some
- 18:31Speaker 1: point before the end of the year, perhaps this Frenemi
- 18:35Speaker 1: stuff which Statlander and Willow will actually pay off in
- 18:38Speaker 1: some way. Maybe we'll actually get some forward movement in
- 18:41Speaker 1: this story, because it just feels like we've been stuck
- 18:43Speaker 1: in neutral for months with this stuff. And closing out
- 18:47Speaker 1: the pre show match number four, the Ops the Trio's
- 18:51Speaker 1: champion Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, Katiori Shabata. They beat Clark Conners,
- 18:58Speaker 1: Drilla Maloney and Bobby X of the Bullet Club war
- 19:01Speaker 1: Dogs from New Japan Pro Wrestling to retain the aw
- 19:05Speaker 1: Trios titles. So everybody got to be on the show. Now,
- 19:09Speaker 1: we had already seen thirty wrestlers, thirty in action here
- 19:15Speaker 1: on the show before we even got to the main card,
- 19:19Speaker 1: which opened with Adam Copeland and Christian Cage in their
- 19:24Speaker 1: first match tag teaming together in fourteen years, taking on
- 19:28Speaker 1: kill Switch and Kip Sabian. Kill Switch, of course the
- 19:31Speaker 1: replacement for Nick Wayne, who broke his foot legitimately a
- 19:34Speaker 1: couple of weeks ago. He got bounced out of this match.
- 19:38Speaker 1: Kill Switch, Lucasaurus, call him whatever you want to. He's
- 19:41Speaker 1: been out all year. We haven't seen him since last summer,
- 19:44Speaker 1: right last fall. Last summer, he had a very serious
- 19:47Speaker 1: health situation. We talked about this on the review on
- 19:49Speaker 1: Wednesday night. It was very touch and go there for
- 19:51Speaker 1: a while, very very serious stuff, potentially life threatening. He
- 19:55Speaker 1: made it through. Good to see him back, so he
- 19:57Speaker 1: stepped in for Nick Wayne. Now, the fans that sing
- 20:01Speaker 1: along here at the beginning. Copeland came out first and
- 20:04Speaker 1: the fans that a sing along to alter Bridge everybody
- 20:08Speaker 1: in the building. I mean, this was as loud we
- 20:10Speaker 1: always hear them kind of pick up with the song
- 20:12Speaker 1: when the song ends and they keep singing. This was
- 20:14Speaker 1: as loud as any crowd has done it. I think
- 20:17Speaker 1: since Copeland debuted here in aw and loud enough that
- 20:21Speaker 1: even alter Bridge on Twitter reacted to what they saw here.
- 20:25Speaker 1: When they saw the clip, they were very impressed. So
- 20:28Speaker 1: Cage was punching Sabian in the corner early on here,
- 20:31Speaker 1: and he scurried over to tag in kill Switch. Christian
- 20:35Speaker 1: refused to fight him be tagged out right away to Copeland,
- 20:38Speaker 1: who just looked over at him like really, dude, mother,
- 20:42Speaker 1: Wayne got in Copeland's face outside long enough for kill
- 20:45Speaker 1: Switch to use Sabian as a projectile. He picked his
- 20:48Speaker 1: own partner up at a power bomb position and just
- 20:50Speaker 1: threw him at Copeland. Kill Switch was throwing corner shots
- 20:54Speaker 1: until Sabian tagged himself in and the fans booed. I
- 20:58Speaker 1: should mention that Brian Danglson was on commentary for most
- 21:01Speaker 1: of the matches here on this show, and he said
- 21:04Speaker 1: that this was the same disrespect that Christian had shown
- 21:09Speaker 1: Killswitch in the past. That's what Sabian was doing to
- 21:12Speaker 1: him here. Later in the match, Sabian, who ended up
- 21:15Speaker 1: bleeding from the eye, screamed at kill Switch to tag him,
- 21:18Speaker 1: so Killswitch hit an overhand shot for a tag and
- 21:20Speaker 1: then chucked him into the ring. Christian wanted a tag
- 21:24Speaker 1: mother Wayne, though pulled him off the apron. Copeland was
- 21:27Speaker 1: able to fight off kill Switch and Sabian and tag
- 21:29Speaker 1: out to Christian, who finally faced his fear. He started
- 21:33Speaker 1: throwing shots at kill Switch, only to run into a
- 21:35Speaker 1: head butt. So there was a power bomb out of
- 21:37Speaker 1: the corner by Copeland and a head butt from Christian Cage. Killswitch,
- 21:42Speaker 1: though kicked out at one Sabian made the blind tag
- 21:45Speaker 1: as Copeland and Cage hit a double impaler DDT on
- 21:49Speaker 1: kill Switch. Bryce Ramsburg, though couldn't make the count. Kill
- 21:53Speaker 1: Switch stood on the apron and grabbed Christian by the throat.
- 21:56Speaker 1: Copeland speared kill Switch through the ropes to the floor.
- 22:00Speaker 1: Cage ran into a knee from Sabian, who went for
- 22:02Speaker 1: a kill switch himself. Cage those shoved him into the ropes.
- 22:06Speaker 1: Christian popped Sabian up while Copeland returned to the ring
- 22:09Speaker 1: and speared him, and then Christian covered a bloody kip
- 22:12Speaker 1: Sabian to win it for his team. After the match
- 22:17Speaker 1: was over, Christian offered Copeland a handshake, which he accepted.
- 22:21Speaker 1: Copeland then went for a hug and Christian let him
- 22:23Speaker 1: hug him, but again he didn't reciprocate. He seemed very
- 22:26Speaker 1: uncomfortable about the entire situation. Solid Opener I looked at
- 22:30Speaker 1: this as sort of an appetizer to the main course,
- 22:32Speaker 1: which is coming, I assume in Toronto when Copeland and
- 22:35Speaker 1: Christian take on FTR, that has to be the direction,
- 22:38Speaker 1: whether it's all out or not. Right, we know that
- 22:41Speaker 1: they're headed for a match with FTR at some point,
- 22:43Speaker 1: so they didn't really need to give too much away here,
- 22:46Speaker 1: and they told the story though of Kip Sabian disrespecting
- 22:50Speaker 1: the dinosaur in the same way that Christian used to do,
- 22:54Speaker 1: and if you think back to it before he went
- 22:56Speaker 1: away with his health issues, they seemed to be building
- 23:00Speaker 1: to a split where he was not going to tolerate
- 23:03Speaker 1: this shit anymore with Christian, and they were doing the
- 23:06Speaker 1: same thing here with kill Switching and Kip Sabium. No
- 23:10Speaker 1: signs of dissension between Copeland and Christian. A couple of
- 23:14Speaker 1: funny spots in there, like when he immediately tagged out
- 23:16Speaker 1: to Copeland because he didn't want to wrestle kill Switch.
- 23:18Speaker 1: But outside of that they worked like a well, they
- 23:21Speaker 1: work like a team that actually had wrestled a few
- 23:24Speaker 1: matches together back in the day. I don't know how
- 23:27Speaker 1: many matches they had, maybe maybe a couple, but they
- 23:31Speaker 1: wrestled like they used to be Tag team champions at
- 23:33Speaker 1: some point. It's crazy. So we'll see if Christian learns
- 23:38Speaker 1: to fully embrace his old self. I hope not. Copeland
- 23:43Speaker 1: called him an asshole on Wednesday. He should, he should
- 23:45Speaker 1: remain an asshole. That's the version of Christian I want
- 23:48Speaker 1: to see. We had Kyle Fletcher defending the TNT Championship
- 23:54Speaker 1: against New Japan's Hiromu Takahashi. They had the lead announcer
- 23:59Speaker 1: for New Japan, Walker Stewart. I was gonna say they
- 24:02Speaker 1: head Walker Stewart on commentary, who's very very good at
- 24:06Speaker 1: what he does, and again very very young, only twenty
- 24:09Speaker 1: three years old, and carries himself like a ten year vet.
- 24:14Speaker 1: So he tagged in on commentary here. He replaced Tony
- 24:17Speaker 1: Schavani on the call for this match, and Don Callus
- 24:20Speaker 1: joined as well. Danielson said that he hoped Callus would
- 24:23Speaker 1: have brought the oil painting with him of Fletcher and himself,
- 24:26Speaker 1: but Callus said he's working on one of Danielson his
- 24:29Speaker 1: headstone got a little dark there. Fletcher hit a lagerbomb
- 24:35Speaker 1: showed frustration over not being able to get the pin.
- 24:37Speaker 1: Horomu started laughing in response to Fletcher hitting him with
- 24:41Speaker 1: rolling elbows. Takahashi ran into a big boot. Fletcher covered him,
- 24:45Speaker 1: but Takahashi kicked out of one. Kyle set up for
- 24:48Speaker 1: a brainbuster on the apron and Horomu countered into a
- 24:51Speaker 1: DDT back inside Fletcher's stuff. Takahashi's time bomb finish and
- 24:57Speaker 1: Kyle set up for something, but Takahashi counter with a
- 25:00Speaker 1: destroyer for a nice near fall. Both men reverse tombstone
- 25:03Speaker 1: pile driver attempts, and eventually Fletcher hit one for a
- 25:06Speaker 1: two count. Fletcher wanted a brainbuster, Takahashi rolled through into
- 25:11Speaker 1: a cradle. Fletcher held on though, and rolled into a
- 25:13Speaker 1: sheer drop brainbuster and picked up the win. It started slow,
- 25:20Speaker 1: but it picked up big time in the second half.
- 25:21Speaker 1: Some good near falls. I mean, the finish was never
- 25:23Speaker 1: in dowb and that was one of the issues with
- 25:25Speaker 1: a lot of matches up and down this show, especially
- 25:28Speaker 1: the championship matches. The outcomes were just never endowed. Nobody
- 25:32Speaker 1: believed that, you know, Kyle Fletcher, twenty three days or
- 25:36Speaker 1: twenty four days into his run as TNT champion, was
- 25:39Speaker 1: losing to Horomu, you know who popped up on TV
- 25:43Speaker 1: once in the build to this show. Nobody believed Mercedes
- 25:46Speaker 1: Monet was losing her championship and so on, so that
- 25:50Speaker 1: was always working against this match. No matter how good
- 25:52Speaker 1: it was. That drama, you just weren't going to be
- 25:54Speaker 1: able to get that drama. But it was the expected
- 25:57Speaker 1: good match that you would think these two would have,
- 26:00Speaker 1: and it was a competitive win for Fletcher. Again, he's
- 26:02Speaker 1: not even thirty days into his title runs, so you know,
- 26:05Speaker 1: to get a competitive win like this and more like
- 26:07Speaker 1: these will help him along the way. We had a
- 26:11Speaker 1: four way I mentioned Mercedes. We had a four way
- 26:15Speaker 1: match for the TBS Championship with Mercedes nine belts. Yes,
- 26:21Speaker 1: she has nine belts now as of Friday night. Mercedes
- 26:25Speaker 1: Monette defending the TBS Championship against Alex Winza representing AEW,
- 26:30Speaker 1: Persephone representing CMLL, and Bozilla representing Stardom. Mercedes entered last.
- 26:37Speaker 1: Of course, she got the elaborate entrance because she's the champion.
- 26:41Speaker 1: She entered with eight royal guards lining each side, four
- 26:46Speaker 1: on each side, and it just so happens that she
- 26:49Speaker 1: has nine belts, one of them being the TBS title,
- 26:52Speaker 1: was around her waist, the other eight, Each one was
- 26:55Speaker 1: held by one of the royal guards. Again, four on
- 26:58Speaker 1: this side, four on that side. Everybody has a champion.
- 27:01Speaker 1: That's the way it is here. Everybody gets a championship.
- 27:04Speaker 1: So that was the big elaborate entrance for her. At
- 27:07Speaker 1: least she didn't have to carry them all. She's going
- 27:09Speaker 1: to get to a point, you know, when she hits ten,
- 27:11Speaker 1: and she will get ten titles. I don't know what
- 27:13Speaker 1: the tenth one is going to be. They'll just make
- 27:15Speaker 1: one up. It's not like half these belts mean a
- 27:17Speaker 1: fucking thing anyway, most of them don't. But when she
- 27:20Speaker 1: gets to ten, I do wonder what she's she gonna
- 27:22Speaker 1: have to have, like a wheelbarrow that she drags behind her.
- 27:26Speaker 1: She's not the biggest person to begin with, so ten championships.
- 27:32Speaker 1: It's a bit of a you know, a bit of
- 27:34Speaker 1: an issue here because she travels everywhere with these belts.
- 27:37Speaker 1: It's got to be a nightmare. I'm sure it's not
- 27:39Speaker 1: as much of a nightmare as having, you know, hundreds
- 27:42Speaker 1: of yellowjackets in your apartment, but it's probably pretty close.
- 27:46Speaker 1: But she didn't have to worry about that tonight. So
- 27:49Speaker 1: Bozilla early in this match, pressed Mercedes over her head
- 27:53Speaker 1: and tossed her onto Windsor and Persephone. At ringside, Windsor
- 27:57Speaker 1: and Persephone they work together. At one point, Ian Danielson
- 28:00Speaker 1: mentioned on commentary that they have been tag team partners
- 28:03Speaker 1: in the past, so they know each other. Danielson mentioned that, well,
- 28:09Speaker 1: he mentioned something else, but it actually was irrelevant. So
- 28:13Speaker 1: there was a big tower of doom spot with Mercedes
- 28:15Speaker 1: on top, which left all four women down money, put
- 28:18Speaker 1: Windsor and Persephone in a double statement maker, which they
- 28:21Speaker 1: eventually escaped. Bozilla returned she clubbed Windsor, but Danielson said
- 28:27Speaker 1: it reminded him of Vader. Actually, I could have sworn,
- 28:31Speaker 1: you know, when Bosilla came out here, she had this
- 28:35Speaker 1: mask on, and I mean, unless it was from the
- 28:38Speaker 1: pyro at ringside, it looked like it was smoking. And
- 28:42Speaker 1: I remember when Vader first debuted in WCW, his helmet
- 28:46Speaker 1: would smoke. So I don't know if that was intentional,
- 28:50Speaker 1: if she's borrowing some inspiration from from Vader or not,
- 28:54Speaker 1: but I had thought the same thing when she came
- 28:57Speaker 1: out during her entrance, but that's how she was treated
- 29:00Speaker 1: and booked in this match. He was the monster, you know,
- 29:02Speaker 1: she was the monster of the match here. So then
- 29:07Speaker 1: Bosilla put both Persephone and Windsor down and hit a
- 29:11Speaker 1: moonsaw from the middle rope onto them. Monette returned to
- 29:14Speaker 1: the ring to break up the pin. Mercedes went for
- 29:17Speaker 1: a poison RNA and spiked Bosilla on her head. Bosilla
- 29:21Speaker 1: was barking at Persephanie a little bit later on, who
- 29:23Speaker 1: was down on the floor, and Persephanie got pissed, returned
- 29:27Speaker 1: to the ring and actually got Bosilla up and dropped
- 29:29Speaker 1: her with a razor's edge. And Bosilla was by far
- 29:32Speaker 1: the biggest, physically most imposing woman in the match, so
- 29:36Speaker 1: that was kind of impressive getting her up for the
- 29:38Speaker 1: razor's edge like that. Windsor put Persephone in a submission
- 29:41Speaker 1: hold that Mercedes broke up. Persephanie hoisted Monet up for
- 29:45Speaker 1: a razor's edge, but Monette rolled through into a pinning
- 29:48Speaker 1: combination and got the pin to retain the TBS Championship.
- 29:53Speaker 1: One of those flash pins that just comes out of nowhere,
- 29:56Speaker 1: and she is still the TBS Champion. It had its moments,
- 30:00Speaker 1: It had its moments. There just wasn't much done coming
- 30:03Speaker 1: into this match to you know, generate any real interest
- 30:07Speaker 1: in it. Nor did anyone actually believe that Mercedes was
- 30:10Speaker 1: going to lose her title. So it was just a
- 30:11Speaker 1: matter of like, who is she going to pin? You know,
- 30:14Speaker 1: is it gonna be Alex windsor is it gonna be
- 30:17Speaker 1: somebody from one of the other companies. It ended up
- 30:19Speaker 1: being Persephone. But no matter how much they put over
- 30:23Speaker 1: on commentary, the element of danger that she was in here,
- 30:25Speaker 1: you know, how, she didn't have to be pinned to
- 30:27Speaker 1: lose her championship. And four women in this match, which
- 30:31Speaker 1: means that's three other people who could very well take
- 30:34Speaker 1: her title away from her. Oh my god. You know,
- 30:36Speaker 1: her title has never been in this much jeopardy. It's like, no,
- 30:40Speaker 1: I don't think that anybody honestly believes that, no matter
- 30:44Speaker 1: how hard you try to communicate that. I know that's
- 30:46Speaker 1: their job to try to do so, but it wasn't
- 30:48Speaker 1: gonna work. I will say this though, for an audience
- 30:52Speaker 1: that may not be familiar with Persephone or may not
- 30:56Speaker 1: be familiar with bo more so Bozilla, I mean She's
- 30:59Speaker 1: twenty one years years old, she's only been wrestling for
- 31:02Speaker 1: three years, she's only been in stardom for two months,
- 31:05Speaker 1: and she was representing stardom in this match. Most people,
- 31:08Speaker 1: I dare say, are probably not familiar with her and
- 31:11Speaker 1: have never seen her wrestle before. Didn't know hardly anything
- 31:14Speaker 1: about her other than she's second generation Olf. Herman is
- 31:17Speaker 1: her father. She's twenty one. It's about all I know.
- 31:19Speaker 1: It's about all anybody knows. So if you're somebody who
- 31:23Speaker 1: for the first time, you're getting to see this woman,
- 31:25Speaker 1: I thought that she did very, very well. I thought
- 31:27Speaker 1: she was very impressive. She had some memorable spots here
- 31:31Speaker 1: in this match. She was really good playing the monster role.
- 31:35Speaker 1: You know, she played her part so much so that
- 31:38Speaker 1: if I'm Stardom, I'm making now she's only been there
- 31:41Speaker 1: two months. I don't know what her contract status is,
- 31:43Speaker 1: but if I'm Stardom, I am locking her down as
- 31:47Speaker 1: quickly as possible because the sharks are circling. Is what
- 31:50Speaker 1: happened a few years ago for Bidden Door when Mercedes
- 31:53Speaker 1: worked with Stephanie Vicaierre. Now, wwe already knew who Stephanie was.
- 31:57Speaker 1: They already had eyes on her, but it took that
- 31:59Speaker 1: match to kind of be like, all right, we got
- 32:01Speaker 1: to act on this now, and then within weeks she
- 32:04Speaker 1: was signed right, and WWE had her all locked up.
- 32:07Speaker 1: So if I'm stardom, I'm trying to get her locked
- 32:10Speaker 1: down for a certain period of time because WWE is
- 32:13Speaker 1: going to be watching, and you know AW is going
- 32:15Speaker 1: to be watching, and they're gonna want to get their
- 32:16Speaker 1: hands on Bozilla. So I'm just saying, they want to
- 32:20Speaker 1: hold on to her, I better take care of that
- 32:23Speaker 1: real suit if she isn't already signed now. He had
- 32:27Speaker 1: Zach Saber Junior, the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion, defending his
- 32:33Speaker 1: championship against Nigel McGinnis, who had Daniel Garcia in his corner.
- 32:40Speaker 1: Daniel Garcia was in the four way match on Collision
- 32:43Speaker 1: last week where Nigel became number one contender, and it
- 32:47Speaker 1: was after that match and obviously Danny was, you know,
- 32:51Speaker 1: very down in the dumps over losing, but it was
- 32:54Speaker 1: Nigel who extended a hand and said, I want you
- 32:56Speaker 1: to be in my corner and it's a screamed angle
- 32:59Speaker 1: alert to me, so he was out there in Nigel's corner.
- 33:03Speaker 1: They aired a video package here before any of the
- 33:05Speaker 1: entrances that showed McGinnis meeting up with the legendary Johnny
- 33:10Speaker 1: Saint in a park somewhere in London, and then they
- 33:14Speaker 1: sit down and they're playing chess and we got a
- 33:17Speaker 1: dialogue back and forth and they're they're talking to each
- 33:20Speaker 1: other and McGinnis finally calls checkmate and Johnny says, now
- 33:25Speaker 1: you're getting it. Now go do that again. At Forbidden Door,
- 33:31Speaker 1: Nigel comes out. No Oasis theme for Nigel mcguinnis just
- 33:36Speaker 1: for I thought for old time's sake. Tony might pay
- 33:38Speaker 1: to use it here, but no Dice. Brian Danielson was
- 33:42Speaker 1: giddy like a kid calling this match. This. I mean,
- 33:45Speaker 1: this was just right up his alley. This was just
- 33:47Speaker 1: a technical wrestling clinic. This is what he lives for.
- 33:50Speaker 1: If you remember when Danielson was on the WWE network,
- 33:54Speaker 1: he was on commentary calling the Cruiserweight Classic many years ago.
- 33:59Speaker 1: Might have been him and Morrow doing the Cruiserweight Classic,
- 34:02Speaker 1: and he was just in his element. He really like,
- 34:05Speaker 1: that's the Brian Danielson that we got here on commentary.
- 34:09Speaker 1: Walker Stewart also replaced Tony Schavanni. Again we got a
- 34:13Speaker 1: holy shit chant that broke out as soon as the
- 34:16Speaker 1: bell rang. The fans then switched to a this is
- 34:19Speaker 1: Wrestling chant. Saber caught McGuinness in a submission hold. Garcia
- 34:24Speaker 1: at one point pushed the rope forward to help McGinnis
- 34:26Speaker 1: a couple of times, and the referee caught him and
- 34:28Speaker 1: admonished him, told him to back off, and Danielson questioned
- 34:33Speaker 1: how upset Nigel would be if Garcia ended up getting
- 34:36Speaker 1: him disqualified. McGinnis turned Saber inside out with a lariat
- 34:41Speaker 1: and then followed up with a short arm clothes line
- 34:44Speaker 1: that yet again turned him inside out. McGinnis covered Saber,
- 34:48Speaker 1: who had a bloody nose at this point for a
- 34:50Speaker 1: near fall. Saber caught McGinnis in an arm bar over
- 34:53Speaker 1: the ropes, and Saber broke the hold that the four
- 34:55Speaker 1: count then dropped to the floor, got right up in
- 34:58Speaker 1: Garcia's face. Garcia, you know, he held back, but Saber
- 35:04Speaker 1: knew what he was doing. He was trying to rattle
- 35:05Speaker 1: his cage. Saber went to the ropes, he got cut
- 35:08Speaker 1: off by McGinnis, who hit the Tower of London. McGinnis
- 35:11Speaker 1: went for the pin. Saber, though, put his foot on
- 35:13Speaker 1: the bottom rope right in front of Garcia for the break.
- 35:16Speaker 1: Both men traded pin attempts, including a European clutch by
- 35:20Speaker 1: Saber that only got two. More pin attempts followed, led
- 35:24Speaker 1: to Saber catching McGinnis with the flash pin in one
- 35:27Speaker 1: of them to retain the IWGP championship. After the match
- 35:33Speaker 1: was over, McGinnis was very upset. Saber, though, shook his
- 35:36Speaker 1: hand and gave him the ring out of respect. Now
- 35:39Speaker 1: Tony Shavanni was in the ring, so I'm thinking, okay,
- 35:41Speaker 1: here we go. Here comes the angle because now Garcia
- 35:45Speaker 1: is getting into the ring, Nigel's in the ring, Saber
- 35:48Speaker 1: has left. Why is Tony Shavanni there? Right? He's going
- 35:50Speaker 1: to get some postmatch comments, and the fans also thought
- 35:54Speaker 1: something was about to happen. Garcia just blew past them,
- 35:58Speaker 1: blew past the Chavanni. He spun me a Guinness around
- 36:01Speaker 1: and he gave him a hug and then they left.
- 36:05Speaker 1: Shravanni then ended up being there just to announce the attendance,
- 36:08Speaker 1: which he said was eighteen nine hundred and ninety two.
- 36:12Speaker 1: So if you round that up, nineteen thousand people, which
- 36:16Speaker 1: was the largest pro wrestling crowd ever at the two.
- 36:21Speaker 1: But see that's what happens when you really stop giving
- 36:24Speaker 1: as much of a shit about how many people are
- 36:27Speaker 1: in the building and you just start charging exorbitant prices
- 36:30Speaker 1: to set gate records. That's that's also what we're seeing
- 36:35Speaker 1: going on these days. But good for them. They now
- 36:38Speaker 1: own the all time pro wrestling attendance record at the
- 36:40Speaker 1: O two Arena in London. That now belongs to Tony
- 36:43Speaker 1: Kahan and aaw so good on them. It's good to
- 36:46Speaker 1: see them get a healthy crowd like that. But in
- 36:48Speaker 1: the UK again, in the UK that's one of their strongest,
- 36:51Speaker 1: if not frankly their strongest fan base. They put almost
- 36:54Speaker 1: eighty thousand people in Wembley Stadium a few years ago.
- 36:57Speaker 1: Then they came back and put fifty thousand people in
- 36:59Speaker 1: Wembley Stadium. Now they put almost twenty thousand people here
- 37:03Speaker 1: at the two. They're going back to Wembley next year.
- 37:05Speaker 1: That'll be very interesting to go from eighty to fifty.
- 37:09Speaker 1: They took a year off, now they're going to go
- 37:11Speaker 1: back to Wembley in twenty twenty six. What kind of
- 37:13Speaker 1: crowd are they going to do in twenty twenty six, Well,
- 37:15Speaker 1: they have will Osprey back in time for that show
- 37:18Speaker 1: in twenty twenty six. That'll be very interesting. As far
- 37:22Speaker 1: as the match, it was a great technical style wrestling match,
- 37:26Speaker 1: as you would expect. I would expect nothing less from
- 37:28Speaker 1: these two. There wasn't any kind of story, so you
- 37:31Speaker 1: were going into it just hoping for a great wrestling match.
- 37:35Speaker 1: There wasn't even any time to develop a story. You know,
- 37:38Speaker 1: Sabers the IWGP champion, so he's coming over from Japan.
- 37:42Speaker 1: The g one just wrapped up. Nigel just became number
- 37:45Speaker 1: one contender in a four way match. The story if
- 37:47Speaker 1: there was going to be one, what is going to
- 37:49Speaker 1: be between McGinnis and Garcia. So all that there was
- 37:53Speaker 1: here was the potential for a great professional wrestling match,
- 37:56Speaker 1: and that's what these two went out there and had.
- 37:58Speaker 1: I'm happy for Nigel that he was able to get
- 38:00Speaker 1: that moment. You could tell it meant a lot to him.
- 38:03Speaker 1: And as far as the Garcia stuff is concerned, I mean,
- 38:06Speaker 1: I'm thinking the heel turn is coming. Didn't happen tonight,
- 38:10Speaker 1: I do feel it's coming soon. Tonight was not the night. Now.
- 38:16Speaker 1: They cut to the back after this match and we
- 38:20Speaker 1: see Tecla and Queen Ami Nada and they are brawling backstage,
- 38:25Speaker 1: presumably still from their match on the pre show that
- 38:29Speaker 1: was two hours ago, so we are led to believe.
- 38:32Speaker 1: I guess that these women have been brawling for the
- 38:34Speaker 1: past two hours. Now they brawl out into the arena.
- 38:38Speaker 1: They're in the isleway. Sky Blue and Julia Hart run
- 38:41Speaker 1: out to assist Tecla to make it a three on one,
- 38:45Speaker 1: and the two of them are holding Ami Nada for Tecla,
- 38:48Speaker 1: who does her spider pose and shout out to the
- 38:53Speaker 1: late bray Wyatt. Made me think of bray Wyatt passed
- 38:55Speaker 1: away two years ago. You believed that two years It's crazy,
- 39:00Speaker 1: But she does her spider pose and that is the
- 39:03Speaker 1: cue for them to hit Jamie Hayter's music and out
- 39:07Speaker 1: she comes and all the fans of the O two
- 39:09Speaker 1: in London they go crazy for her. We have not
- 39:12Speaker 1: seen Jamie Hayter since her loss in Mercedes Monet and
- 39:15Speaker 1: the Owen Hart Tournament. What was that at this point
- 39:18Speaker 1: three months ago, four months ago. It's been a while.
- 39:22Speaker 1: So Sky Blue and Julia Hart they get leveled. Tecla
- 39:25Speaker 1: dodges the hater Aide clothesline and the triangle of madness
- 39:29Speaker 1: they bail. Hater goes to ten two Ami Nada. I
- 39:34Speaker 1: have to say, you know, the Ami Nada techless stuff
- 39:38Speaker 1: has been from what I've seen of it. I've seen
- 39:40Speaker 1: some of the collision stuff, and I've seen whatever they've
- 39:42Speaker 1: done on dynamite, which is rare for them to be
- 39:45Speaker 1: on dynamite. But it's a solid, you know, mid card
- 39:49Speaker 1: women's few that really comes off like these two women
- 39:51Speaker 1: don't like each other. They've done a really good job
- 39:53Speaker 1: of building up this bad blood between them, so this
- 39:57Speaker 1: is not like a random sort of thing here. I mean,
- 40:00Speaker 1: this is something that has been building and building and
- 40:01Speaker 1: building for weeks. These two women do not like one another,
- 40:04Speaker 1: so I like that aspect of it, and I definitely
- 40:07Speaker 1: think they could be doing more with both women, including
- 40:09Speaker 1: am Nada, and hopefully we'll see them continue to ascend
- 40:12Speaker 1: in the division. Great to see Jamie hayterback. That was
- 40:15Speaker 1: a brutal it was like a DDT. I remember her
- 40:18Speaker 1: head got spiked into the mat in that match with Mercedes,
- 40:22Speaker 1: and I don't know if that's what put her out,
- 40:24Speaker 1: but I would be shocked if it wasn't. So thankfully
- 40:28Speaker 1: she's back now and if they can get her back healthy,
- 40:31Speaker 1: that's a huge addition to the women's division, and she
- 40:34Speaker 1: was saying into the camera, She's coming for Tekla. Now,
- 40:38Speaker 1: after this, we had what was originally listed as an
- 40:42Speaker 1: elimination three way match for the aw Tag Team Championship.
- 40:46Speaker 1: It ended up not being an elimination match, and there
- 40:49Speaker 1: was nothing said about this. It just wasn't an elimination match.
- 40:52Speaker 1: So very odd that they would announce it as one
- 40:56Speaker 1: and listed in the graphic is one and then it
- 40:58Speaker 1: ends up not being an elimination match. Make of that
- 41:00Speaker 1: what you will. With the Hurt Syndicate defending their titles
- 41:03Speaker 1: against FTR and against Brodido, the team of Brody King
- 41:07Speaker 1: and the Ring of Honor World champion Bandido, MVP was
- 41:11Speaker 1: not out there with the Hurt Syndicate. Also very strange
- 41:14Speaker 1: why he wasn't there. Both teams went aft because he
- 41:17Speaker 1: was there on Wednesday. You know, they were in Glasgow,
- 41:21Speaker 1: so he was on the show on Wednesday. I'm not
- 41:24Speaker 1: sure why he wouldn't have been here. Today's episode is
- 41:27Speaker 1: sponsored by mint Mobile. Don't get burned by your wireless bill.
- 41:31Speaker 1: Don't do it. You should be out enjoying the summer, traveling,
- 41:34Speaker 1: going to barbecues, hitting the beach, the sun might burn you,
- 41:37Speaker 1: but don't let your wireless provider do the same. That's
- 41:40Speaker 1: why I made the switch to Mint Mobile. I could
- 41:43Speaker 1: only see Ryan Reynolds on my TV so many times
- 41:45Speaker 1: before I had to see what all the fuss was
- 41:47Speaker 1: about for myself, and my only regret is that I
- 41:50Speaker 1: wish I would have made the switch sooner. With Mint
- 41:52Speaker 1: you can get the coverage and speed that you're used to,
- 41:55Speaker 1: but for a lot less than you're paying right now,

- 42:43Speaker 1: I've had any complaints about their service. It's been fast, reliable.
- 42:47Speaker 1: I haven't had to deal with any drop calls or Hey,
- 42:50Speaker 1: you sounded like you were underwater there for a minute.
- 42:53Speaker 1: I'm not underwater. I am not a fish. I'm very
- 42:57Speaker 1: much a land mammal, and that's how I sound when
- 43:00Speaker 1: I'm on the phone with someone. Plus, when I see
- 43:02Speaker 1: my bill now as compared to what it used to be,
- 43:04Speaker 1: it really drives home how many people there are out
- 43:06Speaker 1: there paying way more than they should be for the
- 43:08Speaker 1: same basic service. If you fall into that category, it's
- 43:12Speaker 1: not too late to make the switch. In fact, now
- 43:14Speaker 1: is a great time to make the switch with this

- 43:45Speaker 1: taxes and fees extra see mint Mobile for details. But
- 43:49Speaker 1: both teams went after the champions at the start. One
- 43:52Speaker 1: of the highlights of this was when Lashly and Brody
- 43:55Speaker 1: King came face to face in the ring and the
- 43:57Speaker 1: crowd reacted to it in a major way and they
- 44:00Speaker 1: went at it and crowd was really up for it.
- 44:03Speaker 1: Lashly put King down with a spinebuster. Brody, though, popped
- 44:07Speaker 1: right back up dropped Lashly with a clothesline. When Lashley
- 44:11Speaker 1: got up, King clothes lined him over the top rope
- 44:13Speaker 1: to the floor. Bandido performed a fall away Moon Salt
- 44:16Speaker 1: slam while holding Dax Harwood off the top rope onto
- 44:20Speaker 1: the pile of wrestlers on the floor, which was kind
- 44:23Speaker 1: of crazy. Lashly and Benjamin got Brody back in the ring.
- 44:26Speaker 1: Benjamin hit him with a high knee in the corner,
- 44:28Speaker 1: and then Lashley speared Brody went Suddenly everything was going
- 44:33Speaker 1: well here and then all of a sudden, we have
- 44:36Speaker 1: a group of masked wrestlers in New Japan Jackets that
- 44:42Speaker 1: show up at ringside and they attack the hurt Syndicate
- 44:45Speaker 1: and the mass Men. They worked over lashly in Benjamin
- 44:48Speaker 1: with a weapon I think it might have been a pipe.
- 44:50Speaker 1: This was in the aisleway and that effectively eliminated the
- 44:53Speaker 1: Hurt Syndicate from this match because after this they were
- 44:56Speaker 1: a non factor. Meanwhile, Dax blasted Brody in the head
- 45:00Speaker 1: with an unprotected chair shot to the head, which was
- 45:03Speaker 1: very dumb. The Mask Men then revealed themselves to be
- 45:07Speaker 1: Ricochet and the Gates of Agony. You could almost hear
- 45:11Speaker 1: the groan in the building because why right. You look
- 45:15Speaker 1: at this initially and you think, well, why would they
- 45:17Speaker 1: be out here? And there actually is a potential storyline
- 45:19Speaker 1: reason why they would be out there, although this was
- 45:21Speaker 1: never explored. So the timing of the reveal though, was
- 45:24Speaker 1: terrible because when they took the masks off to do
- 45:27Speaker 1: the reveal, it came at the exact moment where there
- 45:30Speaker 1: was a really big near fall taking place in the
- 45:32Speaker 1: ring that we almost missed. So it just felt like
- 45:35Speaker 1: it didn't have the impact that it should have had
- 45:38Speaker 1: for the finish of the match, and this is where
- 45:40Speaker 1: things just fell apart. For the finish of the match,
- 45:43Speaker 1: Brody Monkey flipped his own partner he monkey flipped Bandido
- 45:48Speaker 1: over onto Dax who was on the mat, and he
- 45:52Speaker 1: didn't land it flush, so that looked a little wonky.
- 45:56Speaker 1: But he hooked the leg. Obviously this was supposed to
- 45:59Speaker 1: be the finish. He hooked the leg and things fell
- 46:03Speaker 1: apart because Bandido, he, I don't I didn't even know
- 46:07Speaker 1: what happened. He slipped off of Dax. He like came
- 46:09Speaker 1: off of Dax, but there was nobody there. It's not
- 46:13Speaker 1: like anybody pulled him off or anything like that. So
- 46:16Speaker 1: he slips off Dax briefly, and the referee holds up
- 46:18Speaker 1: his count. Meanwhile, Cash Wheeler dives into the ring as
- 46:21Speaker 1: if he's trying to break up the pin and trying
- 46:24Speaker 1: to make the save, and the spot clearly was going
- 46:27Speaker 1: to be that he you know, he dives in and
- 46:29Speaker 1: he's just he gets there too late, and Brodido gets
- 46:32Speaker 1: the big surprise win. But because the referee held up
- 46:34Speaker 1: and now Wheeler's in the ring, he dove into the
- 46:37Speaker 1: ring and the match is still in progress, and so
- 46:40Speaker 1: Bendido just covers Dax again and then he gets the
- 46:43Speaker 1: three and we have new tag team champions. That is
- 46:47Speaker 1: how the what has been eight months the eight month
- 46:51Speaker 1: reign of the Hurt Syndicate as the Tag Team Champions
- 46:55Speaker 1: comes to an end here and Cash Wheeler ends up
- 46:58Speaker 1: looking like a fucking idiot. This was as bad as
- 47:01Speaker 1: it sounds, not just the botch, but the ricochet and
- 47:05Speaker 1: the gates of agony interference. It just completely ruined the
- 47:09Speaker 1: finish of the match, from the moment they came out
- 47:11Speaker 1: and got involved and then unmasked, and then the shit
- 47:14Speaker 1: finish here. I don't want to say it ruined the
- 47:17Speaker 1: entire match, but it ruined what should have been a
- 47:20Speaker 1: great match, and it definitely took it down a few notches.
- 47:24Speaker 1: This was the first real unpredictable finish of the entire show.
- 47:29Speaker 1: I certainly didn't see Brodido leaving with the tag team titles.
- 47:32Speaker 1: I don't think most people would have seen Brodido leaving
- 47:35Speaker 1: with the tag team titles. If anything, I figured they
- 47:37Speaker 1: were in the match to take the losing fall so
- 47:39Speaker 1: that the Hurt Syndicate wouldn't have to be pinned by FTR.
- 47:42Speaker 1: But instead they actually are the champions, and Bandido now
- 47:46Speaker 1: is a double champion because he's also the Ring of
- 47:48Speaker 1: Honor World Champion. Now he's got himself an aw tag
- 47:51Speaker 1: Team title. There's a story going on here. I'm not
- 47:57Speaker 1: exactly sure what all the details are of this story.
- 48:01Speaker 1: There were reports that came out in the last few
- 48:02Speaker 1: weeks about the Hurt Syndicate and MVP, in particular rejecting
- 48:06Speaker 1: pitches from let's be honest, from Tony Khan. Who else
- 48:09Speaker 1: would it be from to have the Hurt Syndicate drop
- 48:11Speaker 1: the tag team titles as far back as Texas at
- 48:14Speaker 1: all in and to drop them to them at Forbidden
- 48:16Speaker 1: Door that they didn't want to drop the titles to FTR,
- 48:19Speaker 1: and supposedly they had floated other names like the Outrunners
- 48:22Speaker 1: and Private Party who they could drop the tag team
- 48:25Speaker 1: titles to instead in the Gates of Agony, which wouldn't
- 48:27Speaker 1: have made any sense. It's their heels, but apparently not.
- 48:32Speaker 1: FTR and I talked about this, and if any of
- 48:36Speaker 1: that is true, it's completely ridiculous. MVP and the Hurt
- 48:40Speaker 1: Syndicate are not in any position to tell Tony Khan,
- 48:43Speaker 1: you know what, we don't want to lose to these guys. Really,
- 48:47Speaker 1: the whole thing is just completely stupid. But you look
- 48:51Speaker 1: at what happened in Texas, where it would have made
- 48:53Speaker 1: sense for FTR to be a part of the title match,
- 48:55Speaker 1: and they got left off the main car. They were
- 48:57Speaker 1: doing commentary out there for the Hurt Syndicates. That was weird.
- 49:02Speaker 1: Then these reports come out they're doing this tournament, and
- 49:06Speaker 1: I'm like, I think that very well. Can we can
- 49:09Speaker 1: see a draw here in the finals and maybe they'll
- 49:11Speaker 1: send Brodido to the match at Forbidden Door. That's exactly
- 49:14Speaker 1: what ends up happening. And what happens the Hurt Syndicate
- 49:18Speaker 1: gets taken out of the match. Now, I'm not gonna
- 49:20Speaker 1: sit here and tell you that that shocked me. I
- 49:22Speaker 1: was actually expecting that there was a very good chance
- 49:25Speaker 1: that could happen. When I thought this was going to
- 49:28Speaker 1: be an elimination match, I thought they might go for
- 49:31Speaker 1: the shock moment where Brodido actually pins the Hurt Syndicate,
- 49:36Speaker 1: not FTR. They pin the Hurt Syndicate to get them
- 49:38Speaker 1: out of the match. That then guarantees new tag Team champions,
- 49:42Speaker 1: and then FTR goes on to beat Brodido. But then
- 49:46Speaker 1: the elimination stipulation just disappeared with no explanation, and then
- 49:52Speaker 1: sure enough, the Hurt Syndicate they're spared because Ricochet and goa,
- 49:58Speaker 1: they take care of them. They don't have to be
- 50:01Speaker 1: part of the losing fall. And even though I was
- 50:03Speaker 1: expecting something like that and I'm not shocked by it,
- 50:07Speaker 1: I mean that is seriously weak shit. These guys ran
- 50:10Speaker 1: through every single challenger that Tony Khan put in front
- 50:13Speaker 1: of them, from Private Party to the Outrunners to the
- 50:16Speaker 1: Gates of Agony to everybody, everybody, jet Speed, everybody right,
- 50:21Speaker 1: beat them all, some of them worse than others. Finally,
- 50:25Speaker 1: they're going to lose the tag team titles and they
- 50:29Speaker 1: can't even be a part of the losing fall. We
- 50:32Speaker 1: have to protect them, so we're going to have somebody
- 50:35Speaker 1: else get pinned and that's how their eight month reign
- 50:37Speaker 1: as Tag Team Champions is going to come to an end.
- 50:41Speaker 1: So you put all of these things together, and the
- 50:43Speaker 1: one who actually ends up coming out of this I
- 50:46Speaker 1: think looking the worst is Tony Khan, because he should
- 50:50Speaker 1: be able to say, look, I have a vision for
- 50:52Speaker 1: where we want to go here, and it'll mean more
- 50:55Speaker 1: maybe if the Hurt Syndicate actually does, you know, fall
- 50:58Speaker 1: to these guys or those guys, And instead everything they
- 51:01Speaker 1: did here was just very very weak. The match itself
- 51:04Speaker 1: up until the collapse there at the end was actually
- 51:06Speaker 1: very good. But I'm more interested in some of the
- 51:10Speaker 1: behind the scenes going on here, and maybe that'll come out.
- 51:13Speaker 1: We'll see, But I just thought it's a terrible look
- 51:16Speaker 1: for him. It's a terrible look for Tony Kahan, and
- 51:20Speaker 1: it's just very weak that after all this time, the
- 51:22Speaker 1: Hurt Syndicate still couldn't do a job to one of
- 51:25Speaker 1: these two teams and they had to send of all
- 51:28Speaker 1: people ricocheting in the Gates of Agony. You have nothing
- 51:30Speaker 1: to do with any of this stuff, send them out
- 51:33Speaker 1: there to get involved in the finish of this match. Now,
- 51:35Speaker 1: I said that there could be a storyline explanation for this.
- 51:38Speaker 1: I thought maybe it was gonna play itself out in
- 51:40Speaker 1: the World Championship match later in the show, because we
- 51:43Speaker 1: saw on Wednesday that MJF had worked out an arrangement
- 51:45Speaker 1: with Rickosheane the Gates of Agony to attack Mark Briscoe.
- 51:49Speaker 1: They're doing business together. So I see them out there
- 51:52Speaker 1: and I'm like, what the fuck is Rickosheane the Gates
- 51:54Speaker 1: of Agony doing out here. Well, Hurt syndikit kicked them.
- 51:59Speaker 1: JF at the group a few weeks ago, nothing's been
- 52:01Speaker 1: mentioned about it ever since. And I mean there were
- 52:05Speaker 1: reports that a certain someone within the Hurt Syndicate, could
- 52:09Speaker 1: be a certain man possibly whose last name rhymes with Smashley,
- 52:14Speaker 1: didn't want MJF in the group, and that's why it
- 52:17Speaker 1: was so sudden, the way they sort of cut him out.
- 52:19Speaker 1: And that was the end of the storyline. And here
- 52:22Speaker 1: I am thinking, well, maybe there's a way to kind
- 52:23Speaker 1: of circle back to it and at least have MJF
- 52:26Speaker 1: try to get revenge on the Hurt Syndicate. For all
- 52:29Speaker 1: we know, the Hurt Syndicate didn't want to have anything
- 52:32Speaker 1: to do with MJF anymore, and that really is the
- 52:34Speaker 1: end of the story. But you could easily explain it
- 52:37Speaker 1: by saying MJF paid off Ricochet and goa to cost
- 52:40Speaker 1: the Hurt Syndicate the tag team titles. And if the
- 52:43Speaker 1: Hurt Syndicate had a sense that maybe this is what happened,
- 52:47Speaker 1: then maybe they would have showed up during the Hangman
- 52:49Speaker 1: MJF match tonight and cost MJF his chance to become
- 52:53Speaker 1: world champion. But then that didn't happen, So I don't
- 52:57Speaker 1: know if that's the direction they're going in or not.
- 53:00Speaker 1: For this to make any sense whatsoever, it has to
- 53:02Speaker 1: be there's no other logical explanation for why they would
- 53:06Speaker 1: have showed up and doing what they did here in
- 53:08Speaker 1: this match, other than well, maybe they want to start
- 53:10Speaker 1: a program between the Hurt Syndicate and the Gates of Agony.
- 53:13Speaker 1: That would be fucking lame if that's how they set
- 53:16Speaker 1: it up, and that's the only reason we saw them
- 53:18Speaker 1: out here. So we'll wait for TV and see if
- 53:21Speaker 1: they follow up on this, because to me, the only
- 53:24Speaker 1: legitimate explanation for any of this is if MJF was
- 53:27Speaker 1: the one behind it, and if not, then this was very,
- 53:31Speaker 1: very stupid. So now we look at Broddo, they're the
- 53:34Speaker 1: tag team champions. Do they get a short run? Are
- 53:37Speaker 1: they going to immediately drop the belts to FTR anyway?
- 53:39Speaker 1: Because I still feel like FTR is going to end
- 53:41Speaker 1: up with those titles. Are we going into Toronto at
- 53:46Speaker 1: all out next month and having copelanding Christian against FTR
- 53:51Speaker 1: without the titles on the line. You could certainly do that,
- 53:54Speaker 1: but whoever Brodido then defends the titles against unless you
- 53:58Speaker 1: make it a three way, Why the fuck not? The
- 54:00Speaker 1: last two months, the last two pay per views. The
- 54:02Speaker 1: tag team titles have been contested in three ways, why
- 54:05Speaker 1: not go three in a row? Make it a hat trick.
- 54:08Speaker 1: Unless you do that, anybody that Brodido defend the tag
- 54:11Speaker 1: team titles against in Toronto, that match, that tag team
- 54:14Speaker 1: championship match, is playing second fiddle to Cope in Christian
- 54:19Speaker 1: in Canada Wrestling FTR, So why would you want your
- 54:22Speaker 1: tag team titles to play second fiddle? It would almost
- 54:25Speaker 1: be better to have Brodido in there and make it
- 54:27Speaker 1: a three way. Like you gave away Copeland and Christian
- 54:31Speaker 1: their first match in fourteen years tonight on this show.
- 54:34Speaker 1: That was the attraction in Toronto. You gave it away tonight.
- 54:37Speaker 1: That's fine. The next attraction would be them challenging for
- 54:40Speaker 1: the tag team titles, but to do that they would
- 54:43Speaker 1: have to wrestle FTR. So could FTR end up with
- 54:47Speaker 1: the belts between now and then? It's certainly possible, but
- 54:50Speaker 1: it's almost like a no win situation now, because you've
- 54:52Speaker 1: now changed the tag team titles once, do you really
- 54:56Speaker 1: want to change the tag team titles again in the
- 54:59Speaker 1: next couple of weeks and then potentially a third time
- 55:03Speaker 1: at all out Because now you're just hot shotting it,
- 55:07Speaker 1: and that don't see as being a good thing. So
- 55:10Speaker 1: I don't know how long Brodido was going to have
- 55:12Speaker 1: these belts for. I don't think they're going to have
- 55:14Speaker 1: them for very long. But yeah, I don't know what
- 55:19Speaker 1: they would then do in Toronto unless you add them
- 55:23Speaker 1: to that match with Copeland and Christian and FTR, if
- 55:26Speaker 1: we assume that's the direction that we're headed in. So
- 55:30Speaker 1: it was a very surprising decision here. Like I said,
- 55:33Speaker 1: the first really unpredictable finish on the entire show, and
- 55:36Speaker 1: things were going pretty well until we hit the last
- 55:40Speaker 1: ninety seconds or so and then this just fell apart.
- 55:46Speaker 1: We had Kazuchka Okata defending the Continental Championship against Swerve Strickland.
- 55:53Speaker 1: I'm sorry, the Unified Championship. This god so many fucking
- 55:57Speaker 1: belts in this company. He's still carrying around the Continental
- 56:02Speaker 1: title and the International title, but it's the Unified Championship.
- 56:05Speaker 1: I stand corrected. I got to get my title straight
- 56:08Speaker 1: here in this company, So he was defending the unified title.
- 56:13Speaker 1: Jim Ross joined on commentary for this one and immediately
- 56:17Speaker 1: was disappointed that he had to be seated next to
- 56:19Speaker 1: Don Kallous continental title rules. See this is why I
- 56:23Speaker 1: was confused. Continental title rules were enforced here in this match,
- 56:28Speaker 1: which meant no interference allowed, which meant Prince Nana had
- 56:31Speaker 1: to go to the back. Prince Nana could not be
- 56:33Speaker 1: at ringside for this match. But Don Kallis who manages Okada,
- 56:39Speaker 1: he was allowed at ringside because he was doing commentary.
- 56:43Speaker 1: Why can't Prince Nana say hey, I want to do
- 56:45Speaker 1: commentary too. He didn't think to do that, so Nana
- 56:49Speaker 1: had to stay in the back, But it was okay
- 56:51Speaker 1: for Don Callous to be out there right. Ridiculous. That
- 56:55Speaker 1: will never not be ridiculous. I don't care how many
- 56:57Speaker 1: times this happens. It will never not be ridiculous. Now, Swer,
- 57:01Speaker 1: for those who don't know, is dealing with a legitimate
- 57:03Speaker 1: knee injury. He has a torn meniscus in his knee.
- 57:07Speaker 1: He has had that torn meniscus in his knee for
- 57:09Speaker 1: six years. When he tore his miniscus, he was at
- 57:13Speaker 1: the WWE Performance Center. That's how long he's had this for.
- 57:17Speaker 1: And evidently whatever happened, he aggravated it recently and it's
- 57:21Speaker 1: become a real issue. Prior to tonight, he had not
- 57:25Speaker 1: wrestled since a match with I Believe at Cicero on
- 57:28Speaker 1: July twenty third, and there was a report that Tony
- 57:31Speaker 1: Khan has had him working with the medical team from
- 57:34Speaker 1: the Jacksonville Jaguars trying to get him whatever aid he
- 57:37Speaker 1: needs to heal or at least heal up enough to
- 57:41Speaker 1: be in this match. And you know, watching him out there,
- 57:44Speaker 1: he was fine. I mean, he didn't look like he
- 57:46Speaker 1: was limping around or anything until he was selling as
- 57:48Speaker 1: part of the match, so I mean he was able
- 57:50Speaker 1: to work the match fine. But they incorporated that into
- 57:53Speaker 1: the story of the match. Early on, he got sent
- 57:55Speaker 1: over the top rope, he landed on his feet, for example,
- 57:58Speaker 1: and he begins to sell the knee. Okada had a
- 58:02Speaker 1: long run of offense. Swerve came back and held Ocata's
- 58:05Speaker 1: wrist as both men got to their feet. Swerve then
- 58:08Speaker 1: hit him with a few clothed lines, hit a stomp
- 58:12Speaker 1: from the middle rope, and then covered Okada for two.
- 58:15Speaker 1: Swerve ended up on the ropes. Okada shoved him and
- 58:18Speaker 1: it caused Swerve's leg to bend at a very awkward
- 58:22Speaker 1: angle and he got his leg caught in the ropes.
- 58:25Speaker 1: Okada joined him on the ropes and then drove Swerves
- 58:28Speaker 1: knee into the top turn buckle. Strickland missed the swerve
- 58:31Speaker 1: stomp off the apron on the floor. He came up limping.
- 58:35Speaker 1: Okada answered with a tombstone and back inside. There were
- 58:39Speaker 1: some short arm lariats from Okata, who tried a rain maker.
- 58:42Speaker 1: Strickland counter though into a house call kick. Swerve got
- 58:46Speaker 1: a series of short arm lariats of his own. He
- 58:48Speaker 1: wanted another one, actually another house call. Okada saw it
- 58:52Speaker 1: coming with a dropkick, though Strickland avoided a rain maker.
- 58:55Speaker 1: Okata hit another drop kick. A third rain maker attempt
- 58:59Speaker 1: got countered, this time with Strickland hitting a pop up
- 59:02Speaker 1: power slam. The swerve stomp was delivered, but at what cost?
- 59:07Speaker 1: At what cost? Strickland came up clutching his bad leg.
- 59:11Speaker 1: Okada rolled out to the apron. He cut off Swerve
- 59:13Speaker 1: in the corner, hit a knee breaker on the top turnbuckle.
- 59:16Speaker 1: Swerve managed to fire off a desperation house call kick,
- 59:20Speaker 1: but as he called for one more, Okada ducked it
- 59:23Speaker 1: and hit the rain maker. And all it took was
- 59:26Speaker 1: one one rain maker and he got the win. I
- 59:31Speaker 1: like that. After the match was over, Okada got swerves
- 59:34Speaker 1: right knee between the ring post and the ring steps,
- 59:36Speaker 1: and he just started battering him with share shots. Prince
- 59:39Speaker 1: Nana finally ran out with a pipe. All these pipes.
- 59:44Speaker 1: Who is laying down all this pipe all over the
- 59:46Speaker 1: place here in aw his pipes everywhere. So he runs
- 59:49Speaker 1: out with a pipe. Caused Okada to drop the chair
- 59:52Speaker 1: and he exits stage left. Okada and callus. They're standing
- 59:56Speaker 1: in the aisleway and they're looking on as someone appears
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: behind Prince Nana in the ring. And I'm looking at
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: this guy and I think I know who it is,
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: but it's a little hard to tell at first. It's
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: not like I had this guy on the brain thinking
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: he was going to be back any time soon. But
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: sure enough, I'm looking and it is Wardlow. He's back.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: The last time we saw Wardlow in the ring, probably
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: the last time we saw Wardlow at all, was Big Business,
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: the Big Business episode of Dynamite That was in March
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: of last year. That was the night Mercedes Monet made
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: her debut in aew It has been almost eighteen months
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: since we have seen Wardlow. Now I know he had
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: some I think a knee issue and I know recently
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: he was off filming American Gladiators, which is being hosted
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: by the MIZ. Might have to check that out when
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: it comes out. So eighteen months later, he has returned.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: After a much failure in his career, Wardlow has returned,
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: and I thought the the reaction on commentary for this
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: was actually pretty underwhelming. It wasn't as underwhelming as when
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: Christian returned to WWE as part of ECW, but it
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: was pretty underwhelming. Wardlow closed line Prince Nana. Then he
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: mounted Nana and he started throwing punches down at him.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: Swerves in the corner looking up at this and he's helpless,
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: got the bad knee, and he just he can't do
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: anything to save as his friend. All he could do
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: is watch. Security geeks entered the ring to hold back Wardlow,
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: and that did not go very well for them, because
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: that's what makes them security geeks. They're not very good
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: at their job. So Wardlow beats them up, single file,
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: one by one. He closed lines one guy, he power
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: bombs another guy, the other guy eight and f five.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: Wardlow then exited the ring and he goes over and
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: he gives a hug to Don Callous and Kazuchka Okada
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: confirming that he is indeed either part of the Callous
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: family or a hired gun. I mean part of the family,
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: and let's just call it what it is. He's part
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: of the don Kallis family. Josh Alexander comes out as well,
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: Et Cicero, Kyle Fletcher, Lance Archer, Rocky Romero. They all
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: make their way out to celebrate with these guys in
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: the aisle way. They're all welcoming Wardlow into the family.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: Kenoski to ketch. His music hits and everybody cheers and
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: he gets his own separate entrance And what's going to
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: happen here? What does he think about all this? Right?
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: The winner of the g One Climax. He just got
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: back from Japan. He comes down the aisle and he
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: goes face to face with Wardlow. Then he smirks and yeah,
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: he didn't shake his hand or hug him or anything,
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: but he kind of fell back in line and everything's
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: cool and the family is all together. The don Kallis
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: family stuff is just out of control. It seriously, I
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: made the combat. I'm like watching this and I'm like,
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: I think there may be more members of the don
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: Kallis family than I have had yellowjackets in this apartment
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: all weekend. That's a lot, Okay. So there's a lot
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: of members. And I counted eight out there tonight. Okay.
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: So I counted eight members. And that, by the way,
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: that doesn't include that doesn't even include Trent Burretta, who
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: wasn't there. And that doesn't include Brian Cage who wasn't
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: there because Brian Cage had a knee replacement a few
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: months ago, so he is still recuperating from that. I
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: would assume he's still technically part of the family when
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: he comes back, he'll be part of the family. With
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: Lance Archer. They were doing the tech team thing, the
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: Murder Monsters. So we have ten official members of the
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: Don Kallis family. I mean, it's like the bloodline. It's
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: like their bloodline, but without the tribal tats. That's basically
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: what we have here. This family just keeps growing, it
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: keeps multiplying. I don't even know that Bobby Headon had
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: this many members in the Heenan family. This was o'cotta's
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: first title defense since he won the championship and beat
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: Kenny Omega. They spent time here in the build up
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: to this match, you know, playing the last couple weeks
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: really playing up swerves knee injury, which came out of
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: nowhere because it was never mentioned before. And all of
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: a sudden last week on TV, Swerve comes out and
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: there's this mention of a knee injury. I'm like, what
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: are you talking about? What knee injury? So it's a
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: real injury, and they incorporated it, you know, into the story.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: But it just came out of nowhere because nothing was
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: really mentioned about this beforehand. All of a sudden, that
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: became the story and that also became an out for
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: Swerve because he was favoring the knee and I mean, honestly,
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: Okada beat him straight up if we're being honest here,
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: but the knee did play a factor here in the loss,
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: and then they did the injury angle after the match.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: The Swerve is going to be going away for a while.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: The match itself, it was good. It was not at
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: the level of a lot of the matches that Swerve
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: has had just this year alone, or the Okada match
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: with Kenny Omega, all In those you know, all those matches,
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: the matches Swerve has had, and the all In match
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: with Kenny and Ocada. Those were, you know, much better
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: than this. It was still a good match putting Wardlow
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: with the Callus family. Look, it's good to see him
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: back on TV. I'll believe it when I see it
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: when it comes to a serious Wardlow push that actually
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: leads to something, because we've been burned by this before.
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: I think Wardlow he got over in a big way
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: three years ago. It's been a long time since Wardlow
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: reached his peak of popularity in aw was after the
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: split with MJF. A lot of shit has gone down
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: since then, including injuries, but also a lot of bad booking.
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: As as much as the injuries may have read Tafick
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: with things, so has Tony Kahn's booking of Wardlow, and
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: he should not be excused for that. So whatever momentum
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: this man had three years ago where it looked like, hey,
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: you know, he could be a really big homegrown star,
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: like in the way they're pushing Kyle Fletcher now, and
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: they put the TNT title on him. They put the
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: TNT title on Wardlow one point two. But it didn't
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: work out. And it's not like Wardlow all of a sudden,
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: like he started to have shitty matches or stop carrying.
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: You know, they had nothing to do with that. It
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: was just a series of unfortunate circumstances in bed booking
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: that led to this man being impurgatory for three years.
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: So now he's back, and the first thing they do
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: is they lump him into another faction. We've seen this
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: story before. He was in the Pinnacle and then he
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: was part of the Undisputed Kingdom and how did that
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: work out? That didn't work out too well. Now they're
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: going to try again. We'll have him in the Callus
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: Family and he'll be one of ten fucking people in
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: this group. So it's incumbent upon them to do something
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: with him that is going to make him stand out
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: amongst ten people in this group. That's my concern with
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: lumping him into this this faction. Kyle Fletcher, he's doing okay.
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: He's the kind of the crown jewel of the group
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: and takeshta. Where does Wardlow fit into this? Can they
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: build a story around Wardlow and have him, maybe at
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: some point down the road, be a breakout star? I hope, So,
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: I hope there's some kind of plan here for him.
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: But what I see right now is he's back, and
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: you've just like Josh Alexander, Josh Alexander debut and aw
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: and within a week he became a background player in
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: the don Kallis family. He's just in the background. I
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: don't want to see that happen to Wardlow. There's still
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: the potential there for him to be something special. If
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: you can find the right story and you book him
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: in the right way and he can stay healthy, there
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: could still be something there. It's harder to do when
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: you're just one of ten. You know, we see tons
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: of factions, tons of wrestling factions on TV every single
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: week WWEAW Some factions are bigger than others. Some have
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: three or four people, some have five or six. You
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: start talking about nine, ten, eleven, you know a dozen
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: different people. You're getting into nWo territory here, and that
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: isn't necessarily a good thing. But it's only the first
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: night he's back. That's the first step. We'll see where
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: they go from here. All I can tell you is
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: the one thing I am convinced of. I stand steadfast
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: in this Okada and the Unified Championship, the match to
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: Bill to Okada and Takeshta, Takesha will be that first
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: breakout babyface star from this group and it will come
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: through Okada and beating Okada to win the unified title.
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: I do believe that. Now after this, we had timeless
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: Tony Storm against Athena for the aw Women's World Championship,
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: having cashed in her Casino Gauntlet contract here to get
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: this shot. It was an early baseball slide that sent
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: Athena crashing into the barricade, and when Billy Starks, who
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: was out there at Athena's corner, tried to get into
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: Tony's face, she suffered a quick Storm zero For her troubles.
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: Athena flew in with a shotgun dropkick caused to hit
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: the led barricade, not super hard, but I guess it
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: was hard enough that they deactivated the LED board it
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: went out, so it was all Athena. After that, she
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: drove Tony's head repeatedly into the ring post. Later in
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: the match, Tony had Athena in a chicken wing, but
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: Athena broke free, flung Tony out to the floor, and
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: then she hit her with a suicide dive. Athena set
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: up for a pile driver on the ring steps, but
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: Storm bit her knee and then tripped her, which caused
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: Athena's head to hit the ring steps. Storm sent Athena
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: into the barricade, and wouldn't you know what the led
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: board it got turned back on back in the ring,
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: Storm hit Storm zero only for a earfall. Ex Caliber
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: called it like any other sequence. Tony Shavanni called it
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: a monumental kickout. A monumental kickout, he said, it might
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: have been. It might have been if we hadn't seen
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: a bunch of other people already kick out of it,
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: including Mercedes Monet just last month in Texas, who kicked
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: out of three of them, then it might have been
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: a monumental kickout. Monumental is not the word I would
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: use for it. So Storm got Athena on the apron
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: set up for Storm zero. Billy Starks yanked on the
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: ring skirt until Storm released Athena, and Storm then stared
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: at Billy while Athena went up top hid an o face,
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: but it was only to hang Tony's neck over the
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: top rope because she was standing on the apron. Starks
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: grabbed a chair when Mina Shirakawa, who's been out I believe,
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: with a broken hand, and so she ran out there.
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: She took the chair away from Billy and then chased
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: her to the back. Inside the ring, both women traded
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: pen attempts. Athena came off the top rope for another
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: o face, but she dove into the clutches of the
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: TCM chicken wing, and she struggled and she fought and
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: she tried to resist, but in the end she taps
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: out and timeless. Tony Storm remains your aw Women's World Champion.
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: They gave Athena a lot of offense here. They had
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: a good match. I know they could have an even
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: better match. This was not on the level of the
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: match that Tony had with Mercedes in Texas last month.
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: You know what, I know some people are going to
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: have a real issue with Athena tapping out. I didn't
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: really mind it so much. It didn't bother me because
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: I like that Tony has demonstrated now that she has
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: another way to beat you. You know, it's not just
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: Storm zero, but she has the chicken wing. So I
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: like it when people have a couple of different signature moves,
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: two or three even that they could potentially beat you with.
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: With the loss, though Athena has now wasted her Casino
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: Gauntlet contract. She had her shot, she squandered it. She
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: is not the AW Women's Champion. What happens now? The
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: worst thing that could happen is that back to Ring
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: of Honor with you. You're banished back to ROH because she's
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: still the ROH Women's Champion, the forever champion. And I
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: said coming into the show, she's not winning the championship.
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: I'd love to see it, but there's only room for
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: one belt collector on this show in that division. I
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: guess Bandido is a belt collector now too. He's got
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: two titles, but in the women's division, there's only room
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: for one belt collector, can't have more than one. So
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: if she had dropped the ROH title prior to this,
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: I would have bought into the idea a little bit
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: more that, you know what, maybe she'll win. But I
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: never honestly believed she was going to win the championship.
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: So now that she hasn't, and you would assume Tony
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: Storm is just going to move on to the next
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: I don't know what that means for Athena's future. She
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: should remain on the active AW roster. She should remain
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: on AW television. I don't know who she would feud
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: with next. There's plenty of women in the division. If
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: she's not wrestling for the championship, obviously she'll be pushed down.
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: I don't know if they might want to revisit Mercedes
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: and Athena at some point. They're both heels. They might
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: not want to do that. They were just tag team
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: partners the other night on TV. But she belongs on
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: the AW women's roster. She's going to have to drop
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: the ROH title at some point. That's fine, she could
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: still do those matches, but I don't want this to
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: be a case where she had her shot and she
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: just disappears back into the ABYSS. That would be terrible.
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: That's the one thing I do not want to see.
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: She needs to be a regular on TV. As far
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: as Tony Storm. She has now pinned the TBS Champion.
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: She has now pinned the Ring of Honor forever Women's Champion.
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: Where does she go from here? I don't know who's left.
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: Who's left? She beat Mercedes, she beat Athena, she banished
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: Mariah May, she beat Megan Bain. Who's next? Who's left?
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: There's two names that strike me, you got Chris Statlander.
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: Chris Statlander is in the middle of a feud in
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: the middle of the car with Willow Nightingale. That doesn't
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: seem very likely. And then there is a certain someone
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: who just returned on the show tonight by the name
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: of Jamie Hayter. Jamie Hater and Tony Storm have a
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: history together. In fact, the last time Jamie Hater was
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: the aw Women's World Champion, if I remember correctly, she
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: was beaten by Tony Storm back when she was still
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: part of the Oh my god, what was the group
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: that she was a part of with Ruby Riot and
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: Soraya on the Outcast the Outcasts? And also I believe
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: they had a match at Full Gear a few years
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: ago that was really good. So there's history there between them.
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: Now Jamie just came back. She's going to be feuding
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: with Tecla for a while. It's not going to be
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: an overnight thing. But if she can stay healthy, you
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: begin to build her back up to that level within
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: a few months. You could do Jamie Hater and Tony
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: Storm for the Women's World Championship. I would love to
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: see it. I would love to see those two women
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: back in the ring together. I don't see there being
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: another obvious name that jumps out at me right now
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: far as who that next challenger, or even who that
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: woman could be that's finally going to take that title
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: from her. They go back to Mercedes after Mercedes loses
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: the TBS title. That's not happening at least until October.
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: So sure, yeah, you can go back to Tony and
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: Mercedes in November. Maybe World's end in December. What do
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: you do now? I don't know. I don't know, but
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: I would like to see them begin to really build
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: Jamie Hater up, not not even for the TBS title,
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: but for this spot. And speaking of titles, we had
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: the aw World Championship Hangman Adam Page defending against MJF
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: with some conditions, and those conditions are as follows. The
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: title can change hands on a count out, the title
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: can change hands on a disqualification as well as pinfall
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: or submission. Now, unlike Athena, this was not for the
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: Casino Gauntlet contracts, so he still has that as an
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: insurance policy. It also made it a lot less likely
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: that he was going to win the championship in this
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: match and still have the contract, so it did make
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: the outcome a little more obvious. Hangman was kicking his
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: ass early on even sent him over the barricade into
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: the front row. Hangman grabbed a chair, and Bryce Ramsburg
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: got up and warned him, think about what you're about
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: to do here, right, because he'd be disqualified, he'll lose
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: his title. So he dumped the chair, but then MJF
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: sent him into the ring post. Page avoided a heat
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: seeker and went for the buckshot lariot. MJF countered into
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: his assault of the earth armbar submission. Page rolled MJF
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: into a pin to break the hold, then put him
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: in a cross face. MJF rolled Page onto his back
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: and got a two count that forced Page to release
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: the hold. MJF went to ringside picked up the timekeeper's
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: table over his head, which he actually this was kind
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: of funny because the timekeeper's table had some sort of
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: like a black cloth over it, so when he picked
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: the table out, the black cloth was hanging down, so like,
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: as he's carrying this table above his head, all you
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: see is just this black veil under the chair, like
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: the grim Reaper is walking. And then he places the
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: table down right at the foot of the aisleway and
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: that's where he positions the table. MJF then places Page
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: on top of the table. He goes up to the ropes.
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: Page though shot up. He went to the apron. MJF
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: raked his eyes. He dropped down to the apron. Hangman
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: knocked MJF to the floor and then hit him with
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: his Ori harror moonsaal and then hit a tombstone pile driver,
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: and both men were down on the floor. Both men
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: were back on the apron when Page grabbed MJF and
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: he gave him a dead eye through the table down
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: on the ground below. And for some reason this was
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: not a disqualification. Now, I know that MJF is the
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: one who introduced the table into this situation, but that
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: shouldn't matter. And I've seen situations before on these shows
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: where somebody uses the steps and people have said, well,
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: that's not a disqualification because technically the steps are a
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: part of the ring. Now, of course, none of this
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: really makes a whole lot of sense, because if that's
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: the case, like if parts of the ring are all
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: legal and within bounds, then why the fuck would anybody
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: worry about pulling a turnbuckle? Pad off behind the referees
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: back right then none of that should matter. So that's
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: stupid enough. But the table is not part of the ring.
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: It is a weapon. It is a far an object
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: that has been introduced into this match. Whether it's in
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: the ring or on the floor, it shouldn't matter. And Hangman,
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: Page just put this man through a table. This was
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: not a disqualification. MJF should be the aw World Champion
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: right then and there, but he's not. The match rolled on.
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: Page got MJF back inside, he covered him. MJF put
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: his foot on the bottom rope for the break, Page
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: set up for a buckshot. MJF throw a rolled to
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: the floor and then sat down on a chair outside.
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: Page ran towards MJF, who shot up and used the
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: drop toll hold to drive Hangman's face down into the chair.
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: Then MJF ran Hangman into the ring steps. Then he
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: looked over at Brian Danielson on commentary and he said,
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: just like you, he fucking sucks. This is a very
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: mean thing to say to Brian Danielson. So while that
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: was going on, Hangman went to the blade because when
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: they cut back to him, he was busted open MJF
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: went back to the ringside. He had a leaping tombstone
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: pile driver two hangmen on a piece of the broken
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: table from earlier, and that piece did not break. The
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: referee started his count. Page returned to the ring just
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: before the ten count. MJF removed one of the turnbuckle
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: pads and tried to run Hangman into it. Hangman reversed it,
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: and MJF came up sporting a crimson mask of his own,
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: and at that point the fans chanted you deserve it
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: at him, which was kind of funny. So I have
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: people in the chat saying, not a DQ referees discretion. Well,
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: the referees are all very stupid in this company, so
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: I guess that kind of makes sense. When you consider that,
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: then it all makes sense. So both men reverse tombstone attempts.
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: Page actually fell over at one point. They went into
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: trading pins. That led to a series of two counts
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: and then one counts. After that, Paige went for a
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: jackknife pin, but MJF bridged out of it. Page hit
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: him with a dead I for an ear fall. Page
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: ordered MJF to stand and fight. MJF is on his knees,
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: he's looking up at him, and MJF pulls out the
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: dynamite diamond ring. He orders Hangman to use it, go
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: ahead and use it, because if he uses it, he
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: gets disqualified, although it's the referees discretion and so maybe not,
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: but he's telling him, use this, go ahead, I dare
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: you use it? Right, and Hangman he's tempted to. He's
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: tempted to, but if he does, he loses his championship.
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: And then MJF spits at him, spits upright in his face,
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: so instead Hangman spits back in mjf's face. MJF then
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: pulls Bryce Remsburg into Harm's way for a buck shot page,
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: though stopped short before wiping him out. But then MJF
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: shoved Hangman into Bryce Ramsburg, who took a bump. MJF
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: then hit a low blow and a heat seeker to Hangman.
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: MJF made the cover. Here comes Bryce Remsburg. He's he's
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: he took a bump, but it's not like he's knocked
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: unconscious or anything, so he comes over to make the cover.
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: Page got his foot of the bottom rope after the
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: one count. Okay, his foot is plainly on the bottom
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: rope and inexplicably, Bryce Remsburg, not only is he not
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: looking at the shoulders, not like in a position to
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: be looking at hangman's shoulders, he's not even looking at
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: where his feet are. He's just blindly counting. And so
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: he counts two, and he counts three, and everybody is shocked. Now,
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: he never officially called for the bell, and they never
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: played mjf's music, but they zoomed in on MJF. He's
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: sitting there. Oh my god, look he thinks he won
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: the championship, right, and you know what happened here also
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: is very reminiscent of what happened on Dynamite a few
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: weeks ago when MJF beat Mark Briscoe, and Mark Briscoe
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: got his foot on the bottom rope, but MJF moved
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: it aside. Referee didn't see the foot, and that's how
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: MJF beat Mark Briscoe, which I assume would earn him
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: at number one Contenders match. It ended up not really
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: meaning anything. So as all of this is going on,
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: they hit Mark Briscoe's music, Reach for the sky Boys,
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: and here he comes, he comes out. He doesn't even
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: make it to the ring. Security has swarmed him. They
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: were holding him back from getting in the ring, and
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: they escorted him right to the back. MJF turns back,
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: he sees the foot. Hangman's foot is still on the
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: bottom rope. Right, like a minute has gone by. His
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: foot is still on the rope. So he goes over
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: to try to brush it off. Bryce catches him though,
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: oh the foot. Now, look, I have seen plenty of
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: stuff in wrestling matches where the referee says, somebody tries
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: to argue, my foot was on the rope. My foot
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: was on the rope, like in the moment. They just
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: got their foot on the rope in time, but the
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: ref didn't see it. The refs like, I didn't see it.
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: How do I know you didn't just put your foot
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: on the rope. Hagman had like at least a minute
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: maybe ninety seconds, okay, to put his fucking foot on
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: the bottom rope. But now that Bryce sees the foot,
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: like a year later, oh the foot is on the
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: bottom rope, this match must content. This was so this
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: was so dumb. This was this part of the match
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: was very very dumb. It's just very dumb. But that's twice. Now,
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: that's twice in the same match that MJF should have
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: been the AW World Champion and was screwed. I mean,
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: Hangman kind of was screwed if you think about it,
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: but in his mind screwed out of the championship, which
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: I'm sure will come up on television this week. So
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: they both shoved one another. Page hit a lariot. MJF
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: threw a low blow as he held on to Bryce,
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: so the referee didn't see it. MJF got a roll
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: up only for two. MJF threw the AW title in
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: the ring. Remsburg took it away, though, allowing MJF to
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: hit Page instead with his Casino Gauntlet contract case. He
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: whacked the shit out of him right in the head
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: with it. He covered him and Page kicked out it too.
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: That was a great near fall. MJF went back to
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: the diamond ring he was about to use it, Bryce
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: caught him, he removed it. This gave Hangman a chance
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: to get revenge by waffling MJF with his own contract
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: case again. He blasted him right in the head with it,
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: and he followed that with a dead eye and then
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: the buckshot larier to finish him off with the one,
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: two three, and Hangman Adam Page is still the AEW
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: World Champion. So this was my favorite match of the
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: entire show despite all of the bullshit and and the
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: silliness and the nonsense that I just described to you.
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: Even despite that, this was still, in my opinion, the
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: best match, and it was my favorite match on the
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: entire show. And there was plenty of ridiculousness here in
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: this match. It was very overbooked there towards the end,
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: but the crowd was hot for it. They bought into
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: those late near fall. They were very very happy, elated
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: to see Hangman retain in the end. I just I
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: thought it was excellent despite all of it. I thought
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: it was excellent. And MJF still has the Casino Gauntlet contract.
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: It never should have been on the line here to
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: begin with. They obviously backtracked and decided, okay, this is
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: kind of stupid, so you know, we'll hit the undue button,
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: like you know, they're a Microsoft word. Let's hit the
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: undo button on what we've done here. And so he
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: still has the contract as a backup. That's his you know,
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: insurance policy. But every trick that he tried, every short cut,
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: he tried to take here in this match. It was ineffective.
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: It blew up in his face. I was waiting to
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: see if the hurt Syndicate might come out, you know,
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: to cost mj You know, I even said, you know,
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: coming into this, Mark Brisco might come out and stop
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: him from using the diamond ring. You could have had
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: the Hurt Syndicated do the same thing, even if it
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: was just the distraction, you know, not them necessarily beating
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: him up when the referee was down, which you could
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: have done that too. You know, Bryce Ramsberg could have
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: taken a bump. And here comes Bobby Lashley in Shell
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: and Benjamin who suspect that MJF is the one who
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: sent Ricochet and the Goa out there earlier to cost
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: them their titles. So fuck you, We're going to cost
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: you the world title. Nope, Nope, no hurt Syndicate, no
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: idea if they're going to pursue that angle of the
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: story or not. If it was just a random attack
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: in that tag team title match. Again, I just think
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: that was a very dumb thing to do. But this
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: was the best match on the entire show. This week's
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: episode is sponsored by Green Chef. When you think about summer.
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: You want to have your best beach bod right, and
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: what you eat has a lot to do with that.
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: But even when the summer comes to an end, that
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: doesn't make it okay to just start eating whatever you want,
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: regardless of how bad it may be for you. That's
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: my attitude. I want to make sure I'm eating well
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: all year round because my health is important. It's about
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: adopting eating habits that I know I can stick to.
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: That's the beauty of green Chef, the number one meal
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: kit for clean eating. Green Chef makes it easy to

- 1:28:02Speaker 1: you can adjust your plan to match your mood and
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: your schedule. As someone that has tried Green Chef for
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: myself and had meals sent right to my doorstep, I
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: can vouch for how easy they are to make and
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: the fact that they passed my taste test. One of
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: my favorite meals I had a while back was their
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: chicken with basil pea stew with roasted red peppers and
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: jasmine rice. It was fantastic. It's hard to mess up
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: a chicken dish with me, but it has been done before. Thankfully,
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: this wasn't one of those times. As far as getting
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: everything together, it was super easy. You know, they list
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: out everything you need, any food allergens that you need
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: to know about, which I appreciate and it was a
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: great time saver for me before getting ready to go
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: to work and do some live streaming for you guys,
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: make this summer your healthiest yet with Green Chef. Head
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: to greenchef dot com, slash fifty, solemn Monster and use
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: code fifty sol Monster to get fifty percent off your
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: first month, then twenty percent off for two months with
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: free shipping. That's code fifty Solo Monster at Green chef
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: dot Com slash fifty solo Monster. And then we come
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: to the closing of the show. See that was technically
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: the official main event, but now we get to the
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: unofficial portion of the show. And at this point Brian
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: Danielson excused himself from commentary due to what he said,
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: personal issues that he has with certain members of this
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: match coming up, this unsanctioned match, so he left. Jim
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: Ross took his place for the five on five Lights
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: Out Steel Cage match with Will Osprey, Darby, Allen Kenny, Omega,
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: Coda Ibushi and The Ace. The Ace Hiroshi Tanahashi his
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: final ever match here in the UK, taking on John Moxley,
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: Claudio Castignoli, Gabe Kid and the Young Bucks. That a
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: cage they used. It wasn't very high, but it encompassed
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: most of the ringside area, all but the desks. That's
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: where it ended. So the announcers were saved. Poor Jim
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: Ross was not trapped inside this cage with these crazy
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: people for some reason. They already had tables that were
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: set up outside the ring. Justin Roberts announced that AW
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: would not be held responsible for what happens here in
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: this next match. I mean, look, it may be unsanctioned,
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: but they gave everybody a proper entrance. Everybody got their
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: usual entrance, everybody got their theme music. Looked pretty official
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: to me. Osprey was the last entrant for the Babyface team.
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: There was a video package that played for him with
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: highlights of his career there right before he came out.
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: It was narrated by his fiance Alex Windsor as soon
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: to be Missus Breuv and it was the superstar entrance
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: that you would have expected him to get here in London,
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: effectively for what is his farewell match before he goes
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: off to have surgery. The Young Bucks came out and
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: they had their music cut off within five seconds of
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: it playing. They cut the music off, they cut the
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: tron off. It all went black and then they put
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: the basic you know, Matt and Nick like Nickelodeon graphics
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: up and they started playing umbab By Hanson. They played
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: fucking umba for the Young Bucks nineteen ninety seven called
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: they want their music back. When I heard them coming
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: out to this song like this. This was fucking great.
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: I fucking I had a nice laugh at this. This
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: was fucking great. Although I will say you pay Tony, Tony,
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: you pay for umbab but you can't pay for Oasis
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: for Nigel. Come on, man, what's going on here? What's
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: going on here? So the Bucks were all pissed when
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: they heard the music the Death Riders and Gabe Kid
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: they entered through the crowd. Ex Caliber confirmed it all
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: in will return to Wembley Stadium next August. The Bucks
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: brought a bag into the ring which was left by
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: the production member that they had instructed to find the
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: most dangerous weapon that they could find, and they emptied
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: it out thinking it was going to be thumbtacks or
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: maybe broken glass or something, and it ended up being
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: gummy bears and the Bucks were annoyed. John Mosley was
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: not happy about this. Osprey got busted open at ringside
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: after being launched into the side of the cage. Claudio
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: pressed Darby over his head, military pressed him up, launched
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: him like a lawn dart clear into the side of
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: the cage. He took a hell of a bump there.
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: Darby also got busted open. Not on that spot he
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: got busted open. There was a ladder, if I remember,
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: that was up against the corner turn buckles, and I
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: think Darby took a bump on the ladder and he
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: fucked up his ear because his ear was all mangled
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: and bloody and blood was just pouring out of the
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: side of his head. And as blood is pouring out
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: of his head, the death Riders they duct tape him
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: to a chair, arms and all, so he can't move.
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: He is completely defenseless here. John Moxley then pulls up
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: or pulls out rather a fork and he begins to
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: jab the fork repeatedly into Darby's ear and through his
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: bloody ear lobe. He's putting the fork through the ear low,
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: but he's yanking on it and he's stabbing him with it,
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: and the blood it's just the camera zoomed on and
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: he's twisting it and he's stabbing him with it. This
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: was completely disgusting. I know that Moxley loves this kind
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: of shit, but you know, the aaw torture porn stuff
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: that we sometimes see them do. I'm not a fan
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: of it. So this might have done something for you.
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: It might have felt, had you feel in a certain way.
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: This didn't do shit for me. I thought this was
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: just completely disgusting and stupid. Then Claudie picked up the
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: chair and he body slammed Darby while he's still duct
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: taped to the chair, body slammed him in the chair.
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: The Young Bucks pulled the barb wire table out from
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: under the ring. The Bucks set it up inside. Moxley
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: wanted a death rider. Osprey, though, tackled him through the
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: barbed wire instead. Omega hit a terminator dive at one point,
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: and as if they intended it that way, and I
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: don't know if they did. The camera cut to Marina
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: Shaffir outside the ring at the exact moment that she
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: decided to yell fuck you, Kenny. The announcers didn't acknowledge it.
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: They cut away. It's like great timing on that. Later
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: on Osprey and Omega, they hit a hidden blade v
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: trigger combo. On Gabe Kid, they had him beat Kid's teammates.
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: That broke up the pin. Omega put Moxley down with
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: a one winged angel and had him beaten, but that
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: got broken up as well. Moxley, who was bleeding from
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: the forehead, so as not to feel left out here
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: because if other people are bleeding, John Moxley has to bleed.
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: So he set up a ladder next to the side
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: of the cage. He wanted Wheeler youd to a climb inside.
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: He climbed over the side of the cage and went
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: to the floor. Darby bit the head of Yuda and
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: punched him until he fell off the cage and onto
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: the Japanese announced desk. They had a Japanese announced desk
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: right next to the English announced desk. Darby exited the cage.
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: He went after Moxley who was trying to get away.
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: Darby got Moxley underneath one of the tables that was stacked.
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: They had tables that were I think it was two
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: layer four tables, two layer side by side, but they
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: had these tables stacked right outside the ring at the
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: foot of the aisleway. And he has Moxley just kind
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: of bent over leaning on one of the tables underneath
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: the top one and Darby's climbing the cage and again
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: not a very tall This is not the cage for example,
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: that will Osprey wrestled, you know, Kyle Fletcher in a
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: few months ago. This is not the cage they used
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: for blood and guts. So it's high enough where you
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: know you've got some decent hype, but it's not like
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: super super tall. But Darby climbs to the top of
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: the cage. Marina Shaffir pulls Moxley to safety, so he's
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: he's safe. Now he's away from the tables. Darby's on
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: top of the cage. Gabe Kid meets him up there,
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: hits him with a low blow. So now Gabe Kid
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: is on top of the cage and he applies a
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: sleeper hole and Darby reaches up behind him and he
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: rakes the eyes, gouging the eyes, and then both men
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: fall off the cage and they crash and burn through
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: all of the stacked tables down below. And it was
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: a hell of a bunch for Darby to take, but
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: it was really Gabe Kid who was on the bottom,
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: and he took the brunt of it, and Darby fell
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: right on top of him, so thankfully he was okay.
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: But like that looks scary because again, all of his weight,
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: not that Darby is a giant man, but all of
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: his weightes came crashing down right on top of Gabe Kids.
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: So Yeah, it was a big spot. Not the spot
- 1:36:51Speaker 1: of the night or anything, thank Michael Oku for that
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: on the pre show, but still a hell of a spot.
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: So inside the cage, Osprey hit a storm brake on
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: Claudio Omega and he Bushie hit stereo v triggers on
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: Nick Jackson. Omega hoisted up Matt and Osprey hit him
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: with a hidden blade from the top rope into a
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: one winged angel from Kenny Omega. Then they let Tanahashi,
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: They gave him the floor. They let tana Hashi ascend
- 1:37:18Speaker 1: to the top rope. He hit a high fly flow,
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: his last ever in the UK, and he got the pin.
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: Over thirty minutes into this madness, the Babyfaces win. As
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: the Babyfaces are celebrating inside the cage, ex Caliber says
- 1:37:37Speaker 1: that Darby was getting medical attention at ringside. Yeah, no shit.
- 1:37:42Speaker 1: Omega helped Darby to his feet and then and Darby
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: looked like he was out of it. I don't know
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: if he was concussed or not, but he was certainly
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: acting like it. So maybe he was just doing a
- 1:37:51Speaker 1: really good job of selling how dizzy he was, but
- 1:37:53Speaker 1: he looked like he was. He looked like he was
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: in a car wreck. So they all come into the cage,
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: not into the ring, but into the cage. Osprey's in
- 1:38:03Speaker 1: the ring. He's kneeling down. Then he's shaking hands and
- 1:38:06Speaker 1: hugging and getting his his kudos from each of his
- 1:38:08Speaker 1: teammates here Omega and Tanahashi, and they give him the
- 1:38:14Speaker 1: ring to himself. So the rest of the baby Faces
- 1:38:17Speaker 1: exit the cage. Osprey's in the ring all by himself.
- 1:38:20Speaker 1: They you know, no music. Everyone's giving him a standing ovation.
- 1:38:23Speaker 1: Then they play Osprey's music and this is his sendoff.
- 1:38:26Speaker 1: He made it through alive and in one piece. And
- 1:38:29Speaker 1: we don't know when the next time is that we're
- 1:38:31Speaker 1: going to see will Ospray in the ring. But he
- 1:38:33Speaker 1: got the wind. He's in his home country in front
- 1:38:36Speaker 1: of his home people, and everybody is cheering for him,
- 1:38:39Speaker 1: and they're chanting for him and they're applauding him, and
- 1:38:41Speaker 1: it's this great moment for him. He exits the ring.
- 1:38:47Speaker 1: He's not out of the cage yet, but he exits
- 1:38:48Speaker 1: the ring. He's on the floor. He's about to leave
- 1:38:50Speaker 1: the cage when he turns around, though, Claudio, because the
- 1:38:53Speaker 1: heels were still inside. They were on the floor. Claudio
- 1:38:57Speaker 1: blasts him with a European eppercut, and then he locks
- 1:39:00Speaker 1: the cage door while Moxley puts the boots to ospray.
- 1:39:04Speaker 1: And with the door locked, we are supposed to believe
- 1:39:08Speaker 1: here that the baby faces outside the cage are unable
- 1:39:12Speaker 1: to do anything about this. They're trying to get in
- 1:39:15Speaker 1: through the door. The door is locked. Oh my god,
- 1:39:18Speaker 1: what are we going to do? This man is being
- 1:39:22Speaker 1: brutalized here inside this cage with a bad neck, and
- 1:39:26Speaker 1: there's just nothing we can do. Now. Tanahashi, I can understand,
- 1:39:29Speaker 1: because he's got the jelly knees. So Tanahashi shouldn't be
- 1:39:32Speaker 1: climbing anything. He shouldn't be climbing into bed. But you
- 1:39:37Speaker 1: got Kenny Omega, you get Darby Allen, you got Cody Aboushi.
- 1:39:42Speaker 1: Nobody thinks to climb in over the cage. Now you
- 1:39:45Speaker 1: have Wheeler Yudah who's right by the door inside the cage,
- 1:39:49Speaker 1: and he's got a kendo stick so he can poke
- 1:39:52Speaker 1: them and prod them and use that as a weapon
- 1:39:54Speaker 1: to try to prevent them. But nobody is even attempting
- 1:39:57Speaker 1: to climb into the cage. And nobody is thinking maybe
- 1:39:59Speaker 1: I should go around to the other side. Maybe I'll
- 1:40:01Speaker 1: beat them to the punch and I could try to
- 1:40:02Speaker 1: climb in that way. It's like, not a few weeks ago,
- 1:40:06Speaker 1: we were going into SummerSlam, right and on the WWE
- 1:40:10Speaker 1: Vault channel they uploaded the cage match from SummerSlam in
- 1:40:13Speaker 1: ninety four between Brett Heart and Owen Heart. When the
- 1:40:15Speaker 1: match was over, it was pure pandemonium. It was absolute
- 1:40:19Speaker 1: chaos because you had all of the Hart family members
- 1:40:21Speaker 1: at ringside and Jim Knightheart was and he got, you know,
- 1:40:25Speaker 1: out of his seat and jumped the barricade and he
- 1:40:27Speaker 1: closedlined the bulldog over the barricade and his wife went
- 1:40:30Speaker 1: tumbling over with him and all the brothers. So they
- 1:40:34Speaker 1: get Brett back in the cage and they're beaten on Brett,
- 1:40:36Speaker 1: and so what are the brothers doing. The brothers are
- 1:40:39Speaker 1: trying to climb into the cage and this was a
- 1:40:41Speaker 1: taller cage and they're climbing and they're climbing, and you know,
- 1:40:44Speaker 1: Owen would he took his shoe off, and he's going
- 1:40:47Speaker 1: over there every now and then to bat them down.
- 1:40:50Speaker 1: But they're trying to climb over into the cage, and
- 1:40:52Speaker 1: eventually they make their way in I'm like, you know what,
- 1:40:54Speaker 1: this looks like. This was mass chaos, and it just
- 1:40:57Speaker 1: it looked like, Okay, this is what you would do
- 1:40:59Speaker 1: in this situation. You're desperate to help out your your
- 1:41:01Speaker 1: family member here who's being just destroyed. The door is
- 1:41:06Speaker 1: padlocked shut. Let me try to climb into the cage.
- 1:41:09Speaker 1: It would be the equivalent of the bulldog and all
- 1:41:11Speaker 1: the brothers just standing there going gee, I don't know
- 1:41:13Speaker 1: what to do? What should we do here? I mean, Davy,
- 1:41:17Speaker 1: is there is there a home depot maybe nearby? Maybe
- 1:41:19Speaker 1: you can go buy some bolt cutters. I don't know,
- 1:41:21Speaker 1: I don't know. I guess we can't do anything. It
- 1:41:23Speaker 1: would be ridiculous. So I'm watching this and it's, you know,
- 1:41:26Speaker 1: the dumb babyface syndrome, of course, and nobody is doing anything.
- 1:41:32Speaker 1: So finally the ops they run out, Samoa Joe, Powerhouse, Hobbs, Kattiori, Shavada,
- 1:41:40Speaker 1: they run out. I should mention to you, by the way,
- 1:41:42Speaker 1: that Marina Shaffir, who had been outside the cage on
- 1:41:45Speaker 1: the opposite side to where the babyfaces were acting like
- 1:41:48Speaker 1: there was nothing they could do. Marina Shaffir climbed over
- 1:41:52Speaker 1: into the cage again, nobody thought to even attempt this.
- 1:41:57Speaker 1: It's not like they were even trying. And they're like
- 1:42:00Speaker 1: the top and then they get like knocked down or
- 1:42:01Speaker 1: anything like. No. Now they're just like, shit, what do
- 1:42:05Speaker 1: we do? So the ops they run out, and actually,
- 1:42:12Speaker 1: before the ops even comes out, I'm skipping the best
- 1:42:15Speaker 1: part here, before the ops even comes out, because Ospreys
- 1:42:18Speaker 1: being stomped on and DDT after DDT Moxley gives him
- 1:42:23Speaker 1: a death rider again, all this shit right on his
- 1:42:26Speaker 1: injured neck in the middle of the ring here, and
- 1:42:29Speaker 1: they're doing this to try to get heat. Osprey in
- 1:42:35Speaker 1: the UK just got this big win and now you're
- 1:42:38Speaker 1: killing this dude. And it was designed to get heat
- 1:42:41Speaker 1: and it didn't work. This crowd didn't give a shit
- 1:42:45Speaker 1: or whatever heat it might have gotten. There was some
- 1:42:47Speaker 1: booze here and there, it was very limited, like they
- 1:42:50Speaker 1: did not get the heat that I'm sure they were
- 1:42:51Speaker 1: expecting to get. And part of the issue is, frankly,
- 1:42:56Speaker 1: everybody knew that Osprey had a bad neck and he
- 1:42:58Speaker 1: was leaving. They knew that Osprey was leaving. He announced
- 1:43:03Speaker 1: to us already on television that he was leaving, that
- 1:43:06Speaker 1: he was going to have to go under the knife.
- 1:43:07Speaker 1: We knew this coming in. This was not like a
- 1:43:09Speaker 1: big shock angle. Oh my god, what are they doing
- 1:43:12Speaker 1: to will Ospray here? And that might have been part
- 1:43:15Speaker 1: of the issue here, but whether it was apathy or
- 1:43:17Speaker 1: boredom or whatever it is, the crowd was not reacting,
- 1:43:20Speaker 1: I think in the way that you would expect them
- 1:43:22Speaker 1: to react in this situation. An ex caliber is on
- 1:43:24Speaker 1: commentary saying, oh my god, they wrapped the chair around
- 1:43:27Speaker 1: his neck. They just stomped on the chair. This could
- 1:43:29Speaker 1: be the end of his career. But that's what they
- 1:43:31Speaker 1: did to him in Texas. It wasn't the end of
- 1:43:35Speaker 1: his career then, although I guess they're crediting his injury
- 1:43:39Speaker 1: to the death Riders and what they did to him.
- 1:43:40Speaker 1: But he was back on TV two weeks later, so whatever,
- 1:43:43Speaker 1: they did the same thing to him again. Here he'd
- 1:43:44Speaker 1: laid their dead with the chair around his neck. Then
- 1:43:47Speaker 1: the ops comes out and if I have to listen
- 1:43:52Speaker 1: to one more sicko on Twitter after I posted this,
- 1:43:57Speaker 1: because I posted about how dumb the baby faces were
- 1:43:59Speaker 1: made to look at the end, and if I have
- 1:44:00Speaker 1: to listen to one more sicco tell me Wheeler dah
- 1:44:06Speaker 1: was there with a Kendo stick. There was nothing they
- 1:44:09Speaker 1: could do. I know this is like your gotcha moment
- 1:44:12Speaker 1: to AW, but clearly you weren't paying attention. And Wheeler
- 1:44:16Speaker 1: Dah was there with a Kendo stick, and so they
- 1:44:18Speaker 1: couldn't get into the ky They were trying, but they
- 1:44:20Speaker 1: couldn't get into the And I'm like, do these people
- 1:44:25Speaker 1: do these people honestly expect me to sit here? And
- 1:44:31Speaker 1: you're gonna tell me that Powerhouse Hobbs was unable to
- 1:44:37Speaker 1: get into the cage because Wheeler Dah stopped him from
- 1:44:44Speaker 1: stopped him from doing so, that Wheeler Dah stopped him
- 1:44:50Speaker 1: from doing so. Do you know what Powerhouse Hobbs could
- 1:44:54Speaker 1: do to Wheeler you to with that kendo? Do you
- 1:44:56Speaker 1: know how far up his ass he could that kendostick
- 1:45:01Speaker 1: if he wanted to. And you're actually gonna defend this
- 1:45:05Speaker 1: shit because they'll defend it to the death, of course.
- 1:45:07Speaker 1: I mean, I know this already, and this goes for
- 1:45:09Speaker 1: both sides, but it's worse with AW. They're really hardcore
- 1:45:12Speaker 1: defenders where they could do no wrong and right. Everything
- 1:45:14Speaker 1: they do is great, everything's great, Officer bar Brady, nothing
- 1:45:18Speaker 1: to see here, And I get it. You know they
- 1:45:20Speaker 1: will defend it until their death. They will defend it
- 1:45:22Speaker 1: until they're dying breath. I mean, it's like fucking Citizen
- 1:45:24Speaker 1: Kane right the last fucking words out of his mouth
- 1:45:27Speaker 1: rosebud right in the aw Siccos it would be you
- 1:45:30Speaker 1: don't to their dying breath. I understand that, but like, please,
- 1:45:35Speaker 1: if you are going to continue to make this point
- 1:45:37Speaker 1: and argue this to me, I will personally pick up
- 1:45:39Speaker 1: the phone and I will personally call the psych word.
- 1:45:42Speaker 1: I will make the call. Okay, you just let me know,
- 1:45:45Speaker 1: let me know where to send them. There is no
- 1:45:49Speaker 1: defense of this. It's stupid. It was very very dumb.
- 1:45:51Speaker 1: It was not well thought out or at least an execution.
- 1:45:56Speaker 1: Maybe it didn't come off the way that it was
- 1:45:57Speaker 1: supposed to. It was dumb. It's okay to admit that
- 1:46:00Speaker 1: it was dumb. It's okay. I promise you they will
- 1:46:04Speaker 1: not kick you out. They will not kick you out
- 1:46:07Speaker 1: of the family, they will not kick you out of
- 1:46:08Speaker 1: the cult. Okay, you'll be Okay, you'll be fine. But
- 1:46:13Speaker 1: now the opposer at ringside, finally someone says we should
- 1:46:19Speaker 1: get the cage raised, and they did lift the cage.
- 1:46:23Speaker 1: The death Riders were able to make their escape. They
- 1:46:26Speaker 1: escaped through the crowd, trainers and babyfaces. They all made
- 1:46:30Speaker 1: their way into the ring to check on Osprey, who
- 1:46:32Speaker 1: was laying their dead. And that was the end of
- 1:46:36Speaker 1: this four and a half hour odyssey here that was
- 1:46:39Speaker 1: forbidden Door London. Now I understand that they killed him
- 1:46:45Speaker 1: off because he was going away anyway, But again I
- 1:46:48Speaker 1: just thought, you know, the death Rider's stuff, killing him
- 1:46:51Speaker 1: at the end, it really wasn't necessary. I know why
- 1:46:54Speaker 1: they did it. I know what they were going for.
- 1:46:56Speaker 1: They wanted to put heat on the death Riders. But
- 1:46:59Speaker 1: I feel like if you were if you were to
- 1:47:02Speaker 1: have the heels just win, just have the Heels win,
- 1:47:08Speaker 1: and then you can still give Osprey that moment at
- 1:47:10Speaker 1: the end where he's like half dead, but he gets
- 1:47:12Speaker 1: up and everybody gives him a nice ovation, but he's
- 1:47:14Speaker 1: all like, man, I let you guys down, and it's
- 1:47:17Speaker 1: all beat up and injured, and then he but he
- 1:47:19Speaker 1: gets that exit, you know, with dignity, that's the last
- 1:47:22Speaker 1: we see of him for a while. But have the
- 1:47:24Speaker 1: Heels go over that would have been effective too, but
- 1:47:27Speaker 1: still give Osprey that moment at the end. Instead, they
- 1:47:29Speaker 1: repeated the same angle they already did with him in Texas,
- 1:47:32Speaker 1: which ended up not really meaning a whole hell of
- 1:47:34Speaker 1: a lot. But they repeated the same angle and they
- 1:47:38Speaker 1: you know, ended up making everybody look like an idiot.
- 1:47:40Speaker 1: But they wanted to go for the heat here at
- 1:47:42Speaker 1: the end the match. Here, here's the thing about this
- 1:47:48Speaker 1: about this match. When they announced this as as a
- 1:47:51Speaker 1: lights out, unsanctioned match, just like anarchy in the arena,
- 1:47:56Speaker 1: blooding guts and those types of matches, you you know
- 1:47:59Speaker 1: what to expect coming in. You can never really be
- 1:48:02Speaker 1: shocked by what they give you here when they do
- 1:48:04Speaker 1: the gore and the blood and the violence, the ultra
- 1:48:07Speaker 1: violence and the disgusting shit that they do. It's part
- 1:48:10Speaker 1: and parcel of what Tony Kahan loves, you know, and
- 1:48:13Speaker 1: just what they do and what Moxley loves, and you
- 1:48:16Speaker 1: know what to expect. So I knew that coming in here,
- 1:48:18Speaker 1: the blood and the gore and the plunder. I wasn't
- 1:48:21Speaker 1: a huge fan of this match. This match was. It
- 1:48:24Speaker 1: really wasn't for me. I'm sure for some people they'll
- 1:48:27Speaker 1: think is the best thing in the world. For me,
- 1:48:30Speaker 1: Hangman MJF had the best match in the entire show.
- 1:48:33Speaker 1: I enjoyed that more because to me, we had anarchy.
- 1:48:36Speaker 1: We had an anarchy in the arena a few months ago,
- 1:48:38Speaker 1: double or nothing. This was anarchy in the arena, but
- 1:48:40Speaker 1: in a cage. There's a sameness to this and anarchy
- 1:48:45Speaker 1: in the arena. I had a lot of fun with
- 1:48:46Speaker 1: this year, especially the whole let the bodies hit the
- 1:48:49Speaker 1: floor part with you drowning pool. That was a really
- 1:48:52Speaker 1: fun match. But that's what this was. But it was
- 1:48:54Speaker 1: contained within it for the most part. It was contained
- 1:48:56Speaker 1: within a cage, and we just had that a few
- 1:48:59Speaker 1: months ago. I mean, at least they were smart enough
- 1:49:02Speaker 1: to not do blood and guts. That would have been
- 1:49:04Speaker 1: complete overkill. Like if they had gone from anarchy the
- 1:49:07Speaker 1: arena to blood and guts like a month and a
- 1:49:08Speaker 1: half later, they may still do it before the year
- 1:49:12Speaker 1: is over, but they didn't do blood and guts. But
- 1:49:15Speaker 1: I just feel like I've seen this before. This time.
- 1:49:18Speaker 1: They tossed in a few names, you know who we
- 1:49:21Speaker 1: don't normally don't see. Tana Hashi and Gabe Kid, Kenny
- 1:49:24Speaker 1: Omega and Cody Abushie we haven't seen in a month,
- 1:49:27Speaker 1: so they threw them in there. I did think it
- 1:49:29Speaker 1: was a nice gesture, you know, giving tana Hashi the
- 1:49:32Speaker 1: pin at the end, you know, if the baby Faces
- 1:49:34Speaker 1: were gonna win. So I like that, I mean, I
- 1:49:36Speaker 1: thought that was that was nice. But the story here
- 1:49:40Speaker 1: is Darby and John Moxley. That's what the match was
- 1:49:43Speaker 1: supposed to be, really, but they probably want to hold
- 1:49:46Speaker 1: off on it until September all out, so they gave
- 1:49:50Speaker 1: us this in the meantime. The story coming in here though,
- 1:49:54Speaker 1: was more about Will Ospray and his injury. That's really
- 1:49:57Speaker 1: what the story was. Is Ospray going to be able
- 1:49:59Speaker 1: to make it the match in one piece because he
- 1:50:02Speaker 1: was medically cleared and he's been doing a lot of
- 1:50:04Speaker 1: interviews this week talking about how my doctors told me
- 1:50:07Speaker 1: that you know, it shouldn't get any worse, and they're
- 1:50:10Speaker 1: comfortable with me, and I'm comfortable going in there and
- 1:50:13Speaker 1: protecting myself enough. But you know, he was also talking like,
- 1:50:16Speaker 1: if this is the last time I get to be
- 1:50:18Speaker 1: the real Will Osprey, then I'm going to go out
- 1:50:21Speaker 1: there and give it my all. And he didn't do
- 1:50:24Speaker 1: anything in the match that was too crazy. They left
- 1:50:26Speaker 1: that to Darby, who is always going to do crazy
- 1:50:30Speaker 1: shit no matter what. Osprey leaving is going to leave
- 1:50:33Speaker 1: a hole in the roster. There's nothing that could be done.
- 1:50:36Speaker 1: I don't know if he's having a fusion. I don't
- 1:50:38Speaker 1: know if he's having like a cleaning and they're just
- 1:50:39Speaker 1: going to fix up a few things and he'll be
- 1:50:41Speaker 1: back in five months. If it's a fusion, he's gone
- 1:50:44Speaker 1: for a year. There's a big difference there. We're talking about,
- 1:50:47Speaker 1: you know, ospray out for four or five months or
- 1:50:50Speaker 1: ospray out for ten to twelve. Big difference. And we
- 1:50:55Speaker 1: don't know. He hasn't commented on exactly what the surgery
- 1:50:58Speaker 1: and what the procedure is going to be. It's gonna
- 1:51:03Speaker 1: be tough, especially if Swerve has to be out for
- 1:51:05Speaker 1: a while. People are gonna have opportunities to step up
- 1:51:09Speaker 1: and take their place, because those are two big baby
- 1:51:11Speaker 1: faces to lose, even if it's only for a few months.
- 1:51:14Speaker 1: The matches were solid on this show, solid to very
- 1:51:17Speaker 1: good in some cases. I thought the AW World title
- 1:51:21Speaker 1: match for the most part was excellent. Again, we get
- 1:51:24Speaker 1: solid to very good matches. I mean they shit them
- 1:51:26Speaker 1: out every week on AW television. When the show was over,
- 1:51:29Speaker 1: I was like, you know what, this was a good show.
- 1:51:32Speaker 1: This was not a great show. This was not one
- 1:51:34Speaker 1: of my favorite shows, but it was good. It was good,
- 1:51:36Speaker 1: you know, I didn't feel like I was cheated out
- 1:51:39Speaker 1: of my money. They always give you an overload of matches.
- 1:51:42Speaker 1: They should, you know. I mean, I've said my piece
- 1:51:45Speaker 1: on that. But they want to try to get everybody
- 1:51:47Speaker 1: on the show. That's fine. They stuck most people on
- 1:51:51Speaker 1: the pre show at the very last minute. Four matches.
- 1:51:53Speaker 1: Every match was like an all star six person, eight
- 1:51:55Speaker 1: person tag match. Whatever. There's so many matches, there's so
- 1:51:59Speaker 1: many championships, it could be dizzying sometimes. But I felt
- 1:52:03Speaker 1: like there was enough on this show that I did like,
- 1:52:06Speaker 1: you know, that I got my money's worth. In terms
- 1:52:08Speaker 1: of en ring, it was a good show. In terms
- 1:52:11Speaker 1: of the stories and the angles, nothing really to get
- 1:52:14Speaker 1: excited about here. Honestly, happy to see wardlow Back, happy
- 1:52:19Speaker 1: to see Jamie Hayterback should obviously be working with Tekla.
- 1:52:24Speaker 1: But in terms of the angles and the stories this
- 1:52:26Speaker 1: was it was pretty weak. And again, forbidden Door is
- 1:52:29Speaker 1: a novelty that has worn out. It's welcome with me.
- 1:52:33Speaker 1: I know some people would disagree. A lot of people
- 1:52:35Speaker 1: agree that it was a cool concept three years ago
- 1:52:39Speaker 1: and even two years ago. But at this point, the
- 1:52:41Speaker 1: Forbidden Door it's very played out. We get the Forbidden
- 1:52:44Speaker 1: Door every single week, so it doesn't mean what it
- 1:52:47Speaker 1: used to mean. And this year was the one year
- 1:52:50Speaker 1: more than any other that they've been doing this show
- 1:52:52Speaker 1: where it was an AW show more than anything. It
- 1:52:55Speaker 1: didn't feel like a Forbidden Door show. Most of the
- 1:52:57Speaker 1: matches were AW talents and they drop people in here,
- 1:53:00Speaker 1: Horomu here, Tanahashi there, But for the most part it
- 1:53:03Speaker 1: was just an AW show, you know, masquerading as a
- 1:53:06Speaker 1: Forbidden Door show. So is Tony Kan going to continue
- 1:53:09Speaker 1: the concept? Yes, they did nineteen thousand people here at
- 1:53:13Speaker 1: the two. I don't know what the gate was. It's
- 1:53:15Speaker 1: probably in the top five that they've ever done. Is
- 1:53:18Speaker 1: a very successful show. Next year they should be back
- 1:53:21Speaker 1: to the normal schedule with this show in June and
- 1:53:26Speaker 1: all in in August, so they may have greater access
- 1:53:29Speaker 1: to talent from New Japan at that point. Who even
- 1:53:31Speaker 1: knows what the New Japan roster is going to look
- 1:53:33Speaker 1: like at that point. New Japan is going through a
- 1:53:35Speaker 1: period of great upheaval right now. They're trying to make
- 1:53:37Speaker 1: new stars. They've lost a lot of stars. I think
- 1:53:40Speaker 1: that's part of the problem. New Japan is a product
- 1:53:42Speaker 1: is very cold. When they did The Forbidden Door three
- 1:53:45Speaker 1: years ago, New Japan was I don't want to say
- 1:53:47Speaker 1: it was super hot because it really hasn't been super
- 1:53:50Speaker 1: hot since Covid. Covid really did a number on this
- 1:53:52Speaker 1: fucking company, but they were hotter than they were now.
- 1:53:56Speaker 1: They had bigger names than they do now. Every year
- 1:53:59Speaker 1: that goes by, that gets that much weaker. It makes
- 1:54:01Speaker 1: this show feel weaker. That's absolutely part of it. New
- 1:54:04Speaker 1: Japan is ice cold right now. Takeshta just won the
- 1:54:08Speaker 1: g One. Takesh is an aw guy and he wasn't
- 1:54:12Speaker 1: even on the show in a match. I mean, he
- 1:54:14Speaker 1: came out briefly, but he wasn't even in a match
- 1:54:16Speaker 1: on the show, and so that's part of the problem too.
- 1:54:20Speaker 1: Take a look at the Twitter poll how would you
- 1:54:24Speaker 1: grade Forbidden Door twenty twenty five with almost eighteen hundred
- 1:54:29Speaker 1: votes in so far. Look at the split here, ABC
- 1:54:34Speaker 1: and D Twenty five percent roughly have given this show
- 1:54:39Speaker 1: an A grade, twenty seven percent have given this show
- 1:54:43Speaker 1: a B grade. Twenty three point six percent have given
- 1:54:47Speaker 1: this show a C grade. And twenty four point six
- 1:54:52Speaker 1: percent have given this show a D grade. It's almost
- 1:54:57Speaker 1: that even split right down the line, where do I
- 1:55:01Speaker 1: fall on this? I'm in the B category. I think
- 1:55:05Speaker 1: solid B. That's probably what I would go for this show.
- 1:55:17Speaker 1: Tony signed everyone away from Japan, well, I mean he did,
- 1:55:22Speaker 1: but they were going to leave anyway. It's not just
- 1:55:24Speaker 1: that Tony like snuck in at night and just stole everybody,
- 1:55:28Speaker 1: stuffed them in a bag and ran off like they
- 1:55:31Speaker 1: were leaving New Japan. They wanted to make more money.
- 1:55:35Speaker 1: And if Tony didn't take them, I guarantee you w
- 1:55:38Speaker 1: W would have WW would have taken Okada, they would
- 1:55:40Speaker 1: have taken j White, they would have taken will Osprey.
- 1:55:47Speaker 1: But yes, Tony's signing away so many names from them.
- 1:55:50Speaker 1: He has them now they don't, and they just haven't
- 1:55:52Speaker 1: built up enough new stars to make up that deficit,
- 1:55:55Speaker 1: you know. I mean, that's what happens when you just
- 1:55:59Speaker 1: you don't act quick enough in terms of building up
- 1:56:03Speaker 1: all of this new talent, like they should already have
- 1:56:05Speaker 1: at this point two or three of those guys, you know,
- 1:56:07Speaker 1: the Yoda Sujis and showta uminos, like they should already
- 1:56:10Speaker 1: be in a position where they are a top talent.
- 1:56:13Speaker 1: So they have like five guys that are like their
- 1:56:16Speaker 1: nucleus that you could build around, and none of them
- 1:56:19Speaker 1: have been elevated to that spot yet. I don't know
- 1:56:23Speaker 1: what they're waiting for. They lost Nito. I mean, you
- 1:56:31Speaker 1: think that David Finley's going to be there forever? All right,
- 1:56:39Speaker 1: Le's go back to the super chats that first came
- 1:56:43Speaker 1: in tonight. Start with the Terrible Dried Chicken getting us started.
- 1:56:53Speaker 1: By the way, the exterminator is still not here and
- 1:56:58Speaker 1: it is almost eleven o'clock at night. Is he coming
- 1:57:03Speaker 1: at all? Probably not. I'm going to subdue my anger
- 1:57:13Speaker 1: and get through these super chats because I'm very angry
- 1:57:15Speaker 1: right now. Dry Chicken says, did you see the viral
- 1:57:19Speaker 1: clip of what rampages son? Did it? Yes? I did,
- 1:57:23Speaker 1: of course I did, and it was disgusting and he
- 1:57:27Speaker 1: should be locked away for many years to come. It
- 1:57:30Speaker 1: was disgusting and he has no business being out on
- 1:57:34Speaker 1: the streets after what we saw in that video. The update,
- 1:57:40Speaker 1: by the way, on the man that he almost beat
- 1:57:41Speaker 1: to death, Psycho Stu, last update I saw right before
- 1:57:45Speaker 1: I went live tonight. He is alert and was communicating,
- 1:57:52Speaker 1: you know, talking to people earlier. But he almost choked
- 1:57:57Speaker 1: to death on his own blood and his teeth. He
- 1:58:00Speaker 1: had I would say all of his teeth knocked out,
- 1:58:02Speaker 1: but he got a lot of teeth knocked out, and
- 1:58:05Speaker 1: he almost choked to death on his blood and his teeth.
- 1:58:08Speaker 1: But he's alive. But that's the only update we have
- 1:58:12Speaker 1: so far. Absolutely disgusting death. Sithe says while watching the
- 1:58:21Speaker 1: three way aw tag team title match, it made me
- 1:58:24Speaker 1: think if only Vince made the main event of Survivor
- 1:58:26Speaker 1: Series ninety seven a triple threat with Brett, Sean and
- 1:58:29Speaker 1: the Undertaker, and the whole Montreal screwjob could have been avoided. Well,
- 1:58:33Speaker 1: I've said that on the podcast for years. Undertaker was
- 1:58:37Speaker 1: in the building that night. He was there. He had
- 1:58:39Speaker 1: no match, but he was there. That would have been
- 1:58:43Speaker 1: the simple solution because he had been working with both
- 1:58:48Speaker 1: of those guys. He had worked with Brett at SummerSlam
- 1:58:50Speaker 1: and at that UK pay per view, and then he
- 1:58:52Speaker 1: went right from a program with Brett to a program
- 1:58:54Speaker 1: with Sean. He was right in the thick of it.
- 1:58:56Speaker 1: It would have actually made storyline sense for him to
- 1:58:58Speaker 1: be part of that match. And I don't believe the
- 1:59:03Speaker 1: idea was ever even broached. Like in all the stories
- 1:59:07Speaker 1: that have been retold about Montreal and the ideas that
- 1:59:09Speaker 1: people were trying to come up with Vincent Cornett and
- 1:59:11Speaker 1: all these people, nobody thought. Nobody thought like, maybe we
- 1:59:14Speaker 1: just put the Undertaker in the match. Nobody thought of that.
- 1:59:22Speaker 1: But Seawn beat Undertaker, so Brett doesn't have to take
- 1:59:24Speaker 1: the losing fun Maybe Brett would have said no, But
- 1:59:26Speaker 1: apparently the idea was never even pitched. I never really
- 1:59:31Speaker 1: understood that. How Veally says, what's up, solo Monster shout
- 1:59:38Speaker 1: out from Brisbane, Australia. Let's just say that Hulk Hogan's
- 1:59:42Speaker 1: return to WWE in nineteen ninety eight, what is the
- 1:59:45Speaker 1: possibility of getting Austin versus Hogan at WrestleMania fifteen instead
- 1:59:49Speaker 1: of Rock versus Austin if Hogan had come back to
- 1:59:53Speaker 1: the company, I think the likelihood is very high. And
- 1:59:56Speaker 1: I think that, I mean that would have been terrible
- 1:59:58Speaker 1: for the Rock in Austin. Hogan coming into the company
- 2:00:01Speaker 1: in ninety eight when they were building their new stars
- 2:00:04Speaker 1: up would have been the worst possible thing, the worst
- 2:00:08Speaker 1: possible thing. It's a good thing. It didn't happen in hindsight,
- 2:00:13Speaker 1: and he says today would have been his mom's sixty
- 2:00:15Speaker 1: third birthday. Well, I wish your mother a very heavenly birthday, Pavely.
- 2:00:24Speaker 1: I'm sure she was a lovely lady. Fox says, excited
- 2:00:29Speaker 1: for the upcoming video. I assume he meant stream, so
- 2:00:32Speaker 1: I hope it lived up to your expectations. Dried Chicken,
- 2:00:36Speaker 1: says a w in twenty twenty five. This dried Chicken
- 2:00:39Speaker 1: here is enjoying the women's division so much lower card,
- 2:00:41Speaker 1: mid card or top spot. The personalities are great. Gabriel
- 2:00:50Speaker 1: Gabriel Boss says everyone can make fun of nine Belts Monet,
- 2:00:54Speaker 1: but you can't take away from the workload that she
- 2:00:56Speaker 1: is putting in. She wrestled four times in five days
- 2:01:01Speaker 1: this week. Yeah, you know she did. And if I'm
- 2:01:05Speaker 1: Tony Kahan man, like she's in a feature match on
- 2:01:08Speaker 1: your pay per view, and you're allowing her to wrestle
- 2:01:12Speaker 1: four times in five days, like that's I mean, that's
- 2:01:17Speaker 1: taken a risk there. I don't even know if I
- 2:01:20Speaker 1: would allow that. I mean, one match is one thing,
- 2:01:23Speaker 1: two matches is one thing, but fucking four matches, I mean,
- 2:01:26Speaker 1: you're really tempting fate, especially with all the injuries they've had.
- 2:01:29Speaker 1: Brian Cage had a knee replacement. He's been out because
- 2:01:32Speaker 1: he got hurt, and that's not the reason why he
- 2:01:34Speaker 1: had knee replacement. I mean, I think he tore his
- 2:01:37Speaker 1: acl but he just decided, you know what, I'm gonna
- 2:01:41Speaker 1: get my knee taken care of. But he got hurt
- 2:01:43Speaker 1: at an indie show back in March. We haven't seen
- 2:01:46Speaker 1: him since. Uh the Moldy Cheeseburger. Can Tony Khan replace
- 2:01:54Speaker 1: ex Caliber with Walker Stewart on commentary going forward? Walker
- 2:01:58Speaker 1: Stewart is quite good. He is very good. Fabian Garcia,
- 2:02:09Speaker 1: the show was fun and I can say overall I
- 2:02:12Speaker 1: was entertained. What more can I ask for? Some booking
- 2:02:14Speaker 1: I don't agree with, but when do we ever? That
- 2:02:19Speaker 1: was from Fabian mister E nineteen seventy six. Here's to
- 2:02:24Speaker 1: the tip jar. Thanks for everything you do, Sola, Monsters
- 2:02:27Speaker 1: stay pressing forward. Thank you, Mystery I try the real
- 2:02:33Speaker 1: CS says Hey, Solo, I have a question for you.
- 2:02:35Speaker 1: Since you are a commentator for hog, do you prefer
- 2:02:40Speaker 1: to not know the results of the matches? To me,
- 2:02:44Speaker 1: your reactions come off as genuine, so I was wondering
- 2:02:49Speaker 1: I would prefer not to. I would prefer not to.
- 2:02:52Speaker 1: Sometimes I don't. Sometimes I do. If it comes off
- 2:02:56Speaker 1: like I like, I don't, it's possible I don't. And
- 2:02:59Speaker 1: it's also possible I'm doing a very good job of
- 2:03:01Speaker 1: fooling you into believing that I don't. If it were
- 2:03:04Speaker 1: up to me, I wouldn't. But there are many times
- 2:03:07Speaker 1: where I need to know what's going on, especially if
- 2:03:11Speaker 1: I'm going to be involved in something on the show,
- 2:03:14Speaker 1: which does happen a lot. Joseph Stewart says, I want
- 2:03:17Speaker 1: to take time out today and remember Wyndham Rotunda aka
- 2:03:21Speaker 1: Bray Wyatt. Absolutely I mentioned that before two years he
- 2:03:32Speaker 1: has been gone. Also, do you think Bo Dallas is
- 2:03:38Speaker 1: Uncle Howdy could work in AAW and would the AW
- 2:03:41Speaker 1: fans accept Bo Dallas as Uncle Howdy? No, Uncle Howdy
- 2:03:46Speaker 1: would not work in AAW. Uncle Howdy barely works in WWA,
- 2:03:50Speaker 1: would not work in AW. I'm hearing good reviews. Also
- 2:03:54Speaker 1: of Raven's autobiography, is autobiography or is that documentary? I
- 2:04:00Speaker 1: thought it was a movie that was coming out. I
- 2:04:05Speaker 1: think it's a movie, not a book. Buy or sell
- 2:04:08Speaker 1: Prince Prince Batman eighty nine soundtrack or Batman Forever soundtrack
- 2:04:15Speaker 1: Prince Prince Batman eighty nine. Do you remember the Batman
- 2:04:19Speaker 1: or Robin soundtrack? I don't. Do you think that we
- 2:04:22Speaker 1: will get Dominic Mysterio against John Cena at Survivor Series?
- 2:04:26Speaker 1: I don't After rewatching and seeing teases on SmackDown, could
- 2:04:32Speaker 1: the Wyatt six have every title on Smackdowd in the future.
- 2:04:36Speaker 1: I fucking hope not. No, absolutely not. Power Spying Games
- 2:04:52Speaker 1: Our Spying Games says he was there. He was at
- 2:04:55Speaker 1: Forbidden Door tonight. If I can find it here, there is.
- 2:05:02Speaker 1: I enjoyed Hangman versus MJF the most, you and me
- 2:05:05Speaker 1: both man. That was my favorite match of the night,
- 2:05:08Speaker 1: best match on the Showjaveli says if Yoko Zuna left WWE,
- 2:05:18Speaker 1: would he have left WWE? Would he have another run
- 2:05:24Speaker 1: of the WWE? Would he have another run of the
- 2:05:28Speaker 1: WWE Championship or become Intercontinental or European Ship. I'm not
- 2:05:32Speaker 1: sure I understand the question. I think he means if
- 2:05:34Speaker 1: he did not leave WWE, he didn't leave WWE. I
- 2:05:38Speaker 1: mean they got rid of him, his contract expired, He
- 2:05:42Speaker 1: wasn't cleared by certain athletic commissions to wrestle. He was
- 2:05:45Speaker 1: so morbidly obese it was it was a danger to
- 2:05:49Speaker 1: him and potentially others to allow him into the ring.
- 2:05:53Speaker 1: So that's why his career came to an end. Would
- 2:05:57Speaker 1: he have had another run with the WWF title. I
- 2:05:59Speaker 1: don't think so. I don't think so. With sammy' z
- 2:06:06Speaker 1: ay and on SmackDown most likely to have wargames MFT
- 2:06:10Speaker 1: versus the og Bloodline. Thank you for everything. I really
- 2:06:13Speaker 1: hope that's I mean, I really hope that's not what
- 2:06:16Speaker 1: we get. That would be so fucking lame. How many
- 2:06:20Speaker 1: times are we going to see the fucking bloodline in wargames?
- 2:06:23Speaker 1: My god, my god? Can we not? Please? Can we
- 2:06:28Speaker 1: just not Death's Site? On SmackDown when Nick all this
- 2:06:34Speaker 1: said to Sena, I just got word from Brock Lesnar
- 2:06:37Speaker 1: and I completely forgot that match is still happening. And
- 2:06:39Speaker 1: I would rather they coaxed Steve Austin out of retirement
- 2:06:42Speaker 1: to face Sena instead of Brock. Yeah, I'd rather they
- 2:06:47Speaker 1: not do either one of those matches. Actually, okay, I'm back.
- 2:06:52Speaker 1: Sorry for the delay. We are back. We are back.
- 2:06:56Speaker 1: The exterminator is here. I just had him walk me
- 2:06:59Speaker 1: through what he's going to do. He's got to get
- 2:07:01Speaker 1: his suit on. Apparently it's that bad. He's got to
- 2:07:03Speaker 1: get his be suit on or whatever it is. And
- 2:07:06Speaker 1: he explained the whole process, and so we're trying to
- 2:07:08Speaker 1: get this fixed. So we'll try to let's try to
- 2:07:10Speaker 1: wrap this up so I can go see what he's
- 2:07:13Speaker 1: doing here before he finishes. But it looks like it's
- 2:07:16Speaker 1: gonna take a while. But it's what what a mess? Though? Man? Basically,
- 2:07:20Speaker 1: we got to get to the queen. We got to
- 2:07:22Speaker 1: get to the queen. Once we get to the queen,
- 2:07:26Speaker 1: then we're in business and then we can kill the rest.
- 2:07:32Speaker 1: What a mess? Yeah, you know, it's a you know,
- 2:07:36Speaker 1: it's a serious situation. When the exterminator is here at
- 2:07:38Speaker 1: eleven o'clock on a Sunday night, he's getting his b suit,
- 2:07:41Speaker 1: So it's it's pretty bad. It's pretty bad. All right,
- 2:07:51Speaker 1: let me pick up where we left off here. Yes,
- 2:07:56Speaker 1: we now return to our regularly scheduled program. Here Charlotte, Yeah, Charlotte,
- 2:08:07Speaker 1: Charlotte is in my wall downstairs. We are going to
- 2:08:10Speaker 1: kill the queen. Jeremy Rose, Aw, you gotta have the
- 2:08:14Speaker 1: worst book reps in wrestling. He says, food Hive Sola
- 2:08:20Speaker 1: Monster is going to rip up another bill live on
- 2:08:23Speaker 1: stream again, just like he did on that one stream
- 2:08:26Speaker 1: during the pandemic classic moment. I remember that that was
- 2:08:33Speaker 1: when I said no mas to cable and I cut
- 2:08:35Speaker 1: the cord and I haven't gone back since it was
- 2:08:38Speaker 1: five years ago. Defined real spot of the night for
- 2:08:53Speaker 1: me was all the baby Faces telling Tanahashi to get
- 2:08:57Speaker 1: off the ladder. Jeremy Rose says, MJF Hangman ending was
- 2:09:02Speaker 1: absolute BS repcounts three, then wakes up minute or two
- 2:09:05Speaker 1: later to see MJF about to remove the foot. It
- 2:09:08Speaker 1: was very dumb. As I said, it was very very dumb.
- 2:09:20Speaker 1: Jeremy says. Later his Spidey senses caught MJF about to
- 2:09:25Speaker 1: use the ring, but then didn't notice or hear contract used.
- 2:09:29Speaker 1: And yeah, when he hit him with that contract case, dude,
- 2:09:31Speaker 1: it made such a loud sound. But apparently Bryce Remsburg
- 2:09:35Speaker 1: his hearing is not that great. Apparently not Bobby's world.
- 2:09:46Speaker 1: Thank you for the gifted membership, brother, I appreciate very
- 2:09:49Speaker 1: very much. Jeremy says, buy or sell. Tony Kahn needs
- 2:09:53Speaker 1: to just run the business and stop being booker. It
- 2:09:57Speaker 1: doesn't matter, dude, it doesn't matter. This is his company,
- 2:10:00Speaker 1: this is his baby. He's the booker. He's not handing
- 2:10:04Speaker 1: that off to somebody else. So it's a pointless question.
- 2:10:12Speaker 1: Shadow see that Bozilla can give me a hip attack
- 2:10:16Speaker 1: to the face all day, every day. You know. I
- 2:10:20Speaker 1: will say though, like, there are a lot of people
- 2:10:22Speaker 1: who are going to take notice of Bozilla now who
- 2:10:24Speaker 1: didn't even know who the woman was before. And I
- 2:10:26Speaker 1: met what I said when I said that if your stardom,
- 2:10:29Speaker 1: make sure she's locked into a contract, then this is
- 2:10:31Speaker 1: not a Stephanie Vikaer situation. Because I think the WWE
- 2:10:36Speaker 1: and AW were definitely paying attention tonight, that is for sure. Larcity,
- 2:10:43Speaker 1: am I the only one who thinks Kenny Omega did
- 2:10:46Speaker 1: the belt collector gimmick better than Mercedes Mundane. How would
- 2:10:51Speaker 1: you rank the following names on their run in two
- 2:10:53Speaker 1: thousand and two, the Rock brock Lesnar, Shawn Michaels, and
- 2:10:56Speaker 1: Kurt Angle. I mean, they all have a hell of
- 2:11:00Speaker 1: a year in two thousand and two, But I mean,
- 2:11:03Speaker 1: how can I go with anybody but brock Lesnar. I
- 2:11:06Speaker 1: mean that was the year that made him he debuted,
- 2:11:08Speaker 1: He won King of the Ring. He beat Hulk Hogan
- 2:11:11Speaker 1: with a bear hug, He beat the Rock, He won
- 2:11:13Speaker 1: the WWE Championship. He beat the Undertaker in Helena Cell.
- 2:11:19Speaker 1: The only rookie year I could think of that rivals
- 2:11:21Speaker 1: that in his or is better than that is Kurt Angle,
- 2:11:24Speaker 1: Kurt and Brock, two of those guys right there. But
- 2:11:27Speaker 1: those are your two best rookie years right there, easily,
- 2:11:40Speaker 1: So I would go Brock first. Uh, all right, I'm
- 2:11:50Speaker 1: not I'm not using this anymore. Fuck this, I'm gonna
- 2:11:52Speaker 1: look at the list here. This is this list is
- 2:11:53Speaker 1: getting in my fucking nerves. Sorry, I'm gonna look at
- 2:11:57Speaker 1: it over here. Oh my god, just what I needed.
- 2:12:01Speaker 1: Mm hm, that's what all. That's what all. The yellow
- 2:12:04Speaker 1: Jackets are going to be singing as they're as they're
- 2:12:06Speaker 1: fleeing and flying out of the wall outside Gouda be
- 2:12:09Speaker 1: shouting bre mode as they fly away. So Lar City,
- 2:12:15Speaker 1: I would go Brock God two thousand and two, huh hmm, Brock,
- 2:12:28Speaker 1: Kurt Rock, and then Shawn Michaels, just because Seawn didn't
- 2:12:32Speaker 1: return to the ring until August, and then he didn't
- 2:12:35Speaker 1: wrestle again until the elimination Chamber. I mean, that's not
- 2:12:41Speaker 1: really a complete year, so I can't rank him above
- 2:12:44Speaker 1: those other names gmb Oba and Javon was incredible. It
- 2:12:50Speaker 1: was the best one on one match today, Ozen Gloria
- 2:13:04Speaker 1: is wasn't the hurt Syndicate the catalyst for Ricochet spiraling
- 2:13:07Speaker 1: to begin with? After they humiliated him? That was before
- 2:13:10Speaker 1: the swerve TP spot long term? Yeah, sure, I'm sure
- 2:13:15Speaker 1: that's the reason. I'm sure that's the reason that they
- 2:13:18Speaker 1: suddenly ran out there. You could you could argue that,
- 2:13:22Speaker 1: I mean that that's going back aways. He was playing
- 2:13:25Speaker 1: the long game. Is that what he was doing? They
- 2:13:32Speaker 1: were playing the long game? Basce bears can't wait for
- 2:13:35Speaker 1: Wardlow to do a tell all shoot death sythe What
- 2:13:41Speaker 1: did the young doctor say when his mother asked him
- 2:13:43Speaker 1: what he wanted for his birthday? Patience? Patience p A
- 2:13:52Speaker 1: T I E. N ce get it. Also, do you
- 2:13:56Speaker 1: think Rampage Jackson's son should be charged with first degree
- 2:13:58Speaker 1: I think he should be locked away behind bars for
- 2:14:02Speaker 1: at least twenty years. Yes, what you saw in that
- 2:14:07Speaker 1: video was attempted murder, played and simple. He should be
- 2:14:11Speaker 1: locked away. He should be off the streets and locked away.
- 2:14:16Speaker 1: There's no excuse for that. I don't give a shit.
- 2:14:18Speaker 1: Hoho jinned him up. He was looking at the chat,
- 2:14:20Speaker 1: the chat with you, except the rage bait from the chat.
- 2:14:23Speaker 1: Everyone's making excuses. I don't give a shit. He should
- 2:14:29Speaker 1: be locked away. IP that's the name. By the way,
- 2:14:37Speaker 1: I'm not describing what I'm doing right now. Saw Weapons
- 2:14:42Speaker 1: on Friday. Thanks for recommending you. Oh, you're very welcome.
- 2:14:44Speaker 1: I hope you enjoyed it. I had a lot of
- 2:14:46Speaker 1: fun watching Weapons. I still think Sinners is the best
- 2:14:51Speaker 1: movie I've seen this year, but Weapons was very fun.
- 2:14:58Speaker 1: Ozen glorious. Grateful for the community and the work you
- 2:15:01Speaker 1: put in. Solom Monster. Also thank you for not taking
- 2:15:06Speaker 1: the bait and becoming a performative, hyperbolic AW is dying
- 2:15:12Speaker 1: grifter like everyone else in the space, I've never once
- 2:15:16Speaker 1: said that AW is dying. I mean, they have six
- 2:15:19Speaker 1: hundred million. There's six hundred million reasons why they are
- 2:15:22Speaker 1: not dying, despite what other people may say, which I
- 2:15:24Speaker 1: think is a ridiculous thing to say. Nineteen thousand people
- 2:15:29Speaker 1: in the O two in London, I think they probably
- 2:15:31Speaker 1: did two and a half million, three million dollars at
- 2:15:33Speaker 1: the gate doesn't seem like a dying company to me.
- 2:15:40Speaker 1: You're very welcome, bas Bears. Is when are we getting
- 2:15:43Speaker 1: the call in segment on the show? Eh, there's no
- 2:15:47Speaker 1: consistency to it. It's just when I feel like doing it,
- 2:15:50Speaker 1: or I may set a supercheck goal for it. Nothing
- 2:15:55Speaker 1: is scheduled, but we'll do more calls. It's just a
- 2:16:00Speaker 1: matter of fitting them in, especially when I know there's
- 2:16:02Speaker 1: gonna be like a long stream. I wouldn't do it
- 2:16:05Speaker 1: on a stream like that. If it was maybe a
- 2:16:07Speaker 1: night where I felt like show is basic, show whatever,
- 2:16:11Speaker 1: maybe we'll see Javili says. I meant, if Yoko Zuna
- 2:16:15Speaker 1: did not leave WWE and lost weight, how long before
- 2:16:18Speaker 1: Zillah joins WWE? Uh? Zilla, He's still a little ways away.
- 2:16:25Speaker 1: But I have every reason to believe that Zilla will
- 2:16:27Speaker 1: end up in WWI. It's not like an imminent thing, though.
- 2:16:32Speaker 1: Doubles in the chat, says b the booker, and he
- 2:16:35Speaker 1: puts a fucking b. I mean, look, there are people
- 2:16:39Speaker 1: who think yellowjackets or bees. They're not. They're wasps, but
- 2:16:44Speaker 1: they look like bees. Hey, at least it could be worse, right,
- 2:16:46Speaker 1: I could have those murder hornets. That was a thing
- 2:16:51Speaker 1: here in New York a couple of years ago. Thoughts
- 2:16:56Speaker 1: on WWE doing a Battle Royal with the winner against
- 2:16:58Speaker 1: Stephanie Vakaierre for the women championship. No, you do Eosky,
- 2:17:02Speaker 1: They may do that, but Eosky against Stephanie a clash
- 2:17:05Speaker 1: in Paris. That's it. Or maybe you do eo rock
- 2:17:10Speaker 1: sand in Stephanie at clash in Paris. But that's it.
- 2:17:13Speaker 1: That's all you need to do. Bass Beer, is, what
- 2:17:16Speaker 1: are you exterminating in queen rats? You know what? It
- 2:17:19Speaker 1: kind of feels that way, doesn't it. Fucking rat queen
- 2:17:24Speaker 1: is buried deep within the wall somewhere. I don't know.
- 2:17:29Speaker 1: But whatever it is, it is, it's being taken care
- 2:17:32Speaker 1: of as we speak. All a boy, there are trees
- 2:17:43Speaker 1: sprouting everywhere tonight, fu that there are trees sprouting everywhere.
- 2:17:51Speaker 1: Jericho is back in the news and the trees are
- 2:17:54Speaker 1: sprouting again death side. You know what, we Brits always say,
- 2:17:58Speaker 1: God save the Queen. You do you do say that?
- 2:18:04Speaker 1: You say God saved the Queen. I say God's slay
- 2:18:07Speaker 1: the queen, Bass Bearris shout out to the exterminator, Yes,
- 2:18:12Speaker 1: shout out to him. I just had a very nice
- 2:18:15Speaker 1: conversation with him, Alex. Can you see a scenario where
- 2:18:19Speaker 1: Sina decides to extend his retirement, No where he decides
- 2:18:25Speaker 1: to extend his retirement until next year's WrestleMania only because
- 2:18:28Speaker 1: he wouldn't want his final Mania match to be infamously
- 2:18:31Speaker 1: remembered as one of the worst Maniam matches of all time.
- 2:18:35Speaker 1: I don't think he cares. I don't think that matters
- 2:18:38Speaker 1: to him what other people are going to say about
- 2:18:41Speaker 1: his WrestleMania match. I don't think he's living on social
- 2:18:44Speaker 1: media worry that people are saying that it was a
- 2:18:48Speaker 1: shitty main event at WrestleMania, which it was. He is
- 2:18:52Speaker 1: not extending his retirement. He is committed through the end
- 2:18:55Speaker 1: of the year. Saturday Night's main event December thirteenth is
- 2:18:58Speaker 1: going to be his final match, and that's it. He's
- 2:19:01Speaker 1: done and you will never see him in the georts
- 2:19:05Speaker 1: and hat and T shirt again, just like Undertaker has said, like,
- 2:19:11Speaker 1: you're not gonna see him dressed as the Undertaker, right
- 2:19:13Speaker 1: he comes out. Now, he's the American badass. He's Mark Callaway.
- 2:19:18Speaker 1: He says, unless I get back in the ring, which
- 2:19:20Speaker 1: I'm not doing, I'm not gonna. I'm not wearing the
- 2:19:22Speaker 1: Undertaker stuff again. That's it, I believe seeing it. When
- 2:19:26Speaker 1: he says that Basce Bears with the twelve dollars learning tree,
- 2:19:37Speaker 1: this has been an unbelievable review. Boy, you guys are
- 2:19:40Speaker 1: really having some fun at my expense, aren't you. Again
- 2:19:47Speaker 1: it's it's not a bee though, like the joke doesn't work.
- 2:19:52Speaker 1: Bass Bears says, what would get a bigger pop if
- 2:19:55Speaker 1: Jericho returned? What would get a bigger pop if Jericho
- 2:19:59Speaker 1: returned his the walls down theme or him simply saying
- 2:20:02Speaker 1: hi guys before he appears. Not that why two j
- 2:20:10Speaker 1: versus Brock would be great? They have history already. Yeah,
- 2:20:14Speaker 1: great is not a word I would use for that.
- 2:20:15Speaker 1: I don't think that would be as great as you
- 2:20:17Speaker 1: believe it would be. I have no interest in seeing that.
- 2:20:20Speaker 1: I have no interest in seeing that. Jane Love, it
- 2:20:23Speaker 1: looked like Youda was stabbing the face's fingers as they
- 2:20:26Speaker 1: tried to climb. You can see Youda doing that to Hobbs,
- 2:20:28Speaker 1: which swayed the faces not to go well, but gee golly,
- 2:20:31Speaker 1: I mean, if Wheeler Da is jabbing them in the fingers,
- 2:20:35Speaker 1: then I guess will ospray. He's just gonna have to
- 2:20:38Speaker 1: have his neck broken. There's just nothing we can do.
- 2:20:42Speaker 1: I mean, do people not realize how ridiculous this sounds? Like? Yes,
- 2:20:46Speaker 1: I saw him doing that with some people, but not
- 2:20:49Speaker 1: first of all, not all of them. Number one, number two, Uh,
- 2:20:52Speaker 1: that is not reason enough to leave your comrade to
- 2:20:55Speaker 1: die in the ring because Wheeler Dah has a stick
- 2:20:58Speaker 1: in his hand. Wheeler Dah, Now if he had a
- 2:21:03Speaker 1: blowtorch or something, I'd be like, okay, you know what, well,
- 2:21:05Speaker 1: you're on your own. You're on your own. That I
- 2:21:10Speaker 1: can understand, Chainsaw. You know, if Wheeler Uda was standing
- 2:21:14Speaker 1: there outside the ring, you know, yeah, if I'm hobbs,
- 2:21:19Speaker 1: I'm like, all right, you know what, it's all good man,
- 2:21:22Speaker 1: it's all good. I'm gonna back away that I could understand.
- 2:21:28Speaker 1: Base Bears says I botch that. I meant thanks, guys,
- 2:21:31Speaker 1: look at that. You botched your own super chat. It's terrible. Yeah.
- 2:21:40Speaker 1: My my new least favorite tag team, the Killer Wait watch,
- 2:21:43Speaker 1: We'll land on the Killer Bees and be the book
- 2:21:45Speaker 1: Can you imagine if we land on the fucking Killer
- 2:21:47Speaker 1: Bees and be the Booker Tonight, Luis with a twelve.
- 2:21:51Speaker 1: I wasn't able to watch All In and I still
- 2:21:53Speaker 1: can't believe Wwe gave us two different versions of Logan
- 2:21:56Speaker 1: Paul knocking out John Cena. Now we know who is
- 2:21:59Speaker 1: going to win it Clash in Paris. Fuck Logan, Paul,
- 2:22:06Speaker 1: Thank you Luis Shadow See are you going to watch
- 2:22:10Speaker 1: The Long Walk and Alien Aliens Earth? What is? First
- 2:22:15Speaker 1: of all? What is the the Long Walk? And number two?
- 2:22:17Speaker 1: I would like to watch Alien Earth. I do feel
- 2:22:21Speaker 1: like I should go back and just rewatch the first movie,
- 2:22:24Speaker 1: though it's been a while since i've seen it. Depth side. Also,
- 2:22:28Speaker 1: I don't disagree. I think they should throw the book
- 2:22:30Speaker 1: at Raha. Is it Raja or Raja? I think Rajah?
- 2:22:34Speaker 1: At least Travis Scott didn't hurt Cody like that. Great.
- 2:22:38Speaker 1: Now this son of a bitch has me defending Travis Scott.
- 2:22:41Speaker 1: I mean yeah, I mean the two situations are not
- 2:22:44Speaker 1: even remotely similar. Like this guy just this guy just
- 2:22:52Speaker 1: snapped like I don't give a shit who said what
- 2:22:56Speaker 1: to him beforehand, Like he's a grown adult, he's not
- 2:23:01Speaker 1: a child. When he slammed this man to the mat,
- 2:23:05Speaker 1: and the way that his head smacked the mat, like
- 2:23:08Speaker 1: he was already out of it, and then he started
- 2:23:11Speaker 1: throwing punches at this guy, full fucking force, and he
- 2:23:15Speaker 1: threw so many of them, like there's no and it's
- 2:23:18Speaker 1: all on video, and there's no argument to be made that.
- 2:23:21Speaker 1: Oh well, I didn't know. I mean, they told me
- 2:23:23Speaker 1: I could give him a receipt, So I just decided
- 2:23:26Speaker 1: to punch him seventeen times in the fucking face as
- 2:23:28Speaker 1: hard as I possibly could, Like, no, throw the book
- 2:23:30Speaker 1: at him and lock him up, that's it, and throw
- 2:23:33Speaker 1: away the key. It was disgusting and there's no there's
- 2:23:37Speaker 1: absolutely no excuse for it. Doctor Scorpio, It's a wasp.
- 2:23:44Speaker 1: I can't believe that. I can't believe that, Leopoldo. I'm
- 2:23:51Speaker 1: so tempted to take Solo's gaming share right now. Well,
- 2:23:59Speaker 1: too bad, already back in the chair. I wasn't out
- 2:24:02Speaker 1: of the chair for that long. Just had to go
- 2:24:05Speaker 1: see what was going on. Speedy Sina says that now.
- 2:24:08Speaker 1: Sina says that now, but even the Brothers of Destruction,
- 2:24:11Speaker 1: Triple H and HBK could not resist the greatest force
- 2:24:13Speaker 1: in wrestling history, Saudi Money. Well. One thing that John
- 2:24:20Speaker 1: Cena does not need to worry about is that sweet
- 2:24:24Speaker 1: Saudi money. He's got plenty of it from his career
- 2:24:27Speaker 1: in Hollywood, so I think he'll be okay. And with that,
- 2:24:33Speaker 1: we got one round. We didn't quite hit the secondary goal,
- 2:24:36Speaker 1: but we did hit the We did hit the main goal,
- 2:24:42Speaker 1: so we will be doing some be the booker here
- 2:24:45Speaker 1: more the super chat. You get your fingers jabbed, you're
- 2:24:48Speaker 1: gonna lose grip again. I could be mistaken here. Did
- 2:24:54Speaker 1: you see Kenny Omega try to climb the cage? Did
- 2:24:56Speaker 1: you see Kodyabushi try to climb the cage? Did you
- 2:24:59Speaker 1: see rb Allen try to climb the cage? Maybe one
- 2:25:03Speaker 1: of them. I don't remember seeing any of them even
- 2:25:05Speaker 1: attempt to climb the cage, but I get it. You
- 2:25:09Speaker 1: know people are going to make excuses. There's no excuses
- 2:25:11Speaker 1: for this. Like you can try. It's admirable, like you
- 2:25:15Speaker 1: could try, but it was stupid. Like again, just it's
- 2:25:20Speaker 1: okay to admit it was very very stupid. Like visually,
- 2:25:22Speaker 1: it didn't work. It made the baby faces look very
- 2:25:26Speaker 1: weak and ineffective. Shadow See the Long Walk is a
- 2:25:31Speaker 1: horror movie based off of a an sk book. Oh
- 2:25:35Speaker 1: Stephen King, Okay, first, I'm hearing of this so I
- 2:25:40Speaker 1: will have to look into what the movie is about.
- 2:25:46Speaker 1: It's first the hearing of it. Just be the booker.
- 2:25:50Speaker 1: Ladies are gentlemen. It is now time to be the booker.
- 2:26:02Speaker 1: You know, Bash may have had the comments of the
- 2:26:05Speaker 1: night in the chat just now, I think Bash has
- 2:26:07Speaker 1: the comments of the night. Darby could climb a mountain,
- 2:26:11Speaker 1: but not a cage. Bash, you win the prize for
- 2:26:18Speaker 1: the night. Darby could climb a mountain, but not a cage. Said,
- 2:26:27Speaker 1: all right, tag team be the I swear if we land,
- 2:26:29Speaker 1: if we land on these guys, I swear. All right.
- 2:26:36Speaker 1: We got the Luca Bros. We got Pinta, we got
- 2:26:40Speaker 1: Ray Phoenix. It's a good start. That's a good start,
- 2:26:49Speaker 1: and they are going to be taking on. Look at
- 2:26:52Speaker 1: this lax. We got Santana and door teas. Yes, no
- 2:27:04Speaker 1: killer bees for you or killer wasps because they're not
- 2:27:10Speaker 1: bees but they look like them. Women's be the booker.
- 2:27:17Speaker 1: We have Rosa No, no, no, that point. Goodbye Rosa,
- 2:27:23Speaker 1: goodbye Rosa Mendez out. Yes, all right our main event here,
- 2:27:28Speaker 1: Men's be the booker. We got a main event to book, Yes,
- 2:27:31Speaker 1: indeed we do. We have got Men's be the booker.
- 2:27:34Speaker 1: Let's do it. Let's do it. We got the w
- 2:27:37Speaker 1: w E champion. Look at this, we got the American
- 2:27:40Speaker 1: Nightmare Cody Rhodes properly in the main event. Here of
- 2:27:48Speaker 1: be the booker. Cody rhads. Oh again, zombie Eddie Kingston.
- 2:28:03Speaker 1: Now that's a badass. Look right there, This right here
- 2:28:06Speaker 1: is a man that has seen shit. He has seen
- 2:28:08Speaker 1: some shit. Let me tell you we should be getting
- 2:28:14Speaker 1: Eddie Kingston back very soon. He should be back, honestly
- 2:28:18Speaker 1: any month now. Cody Rhodes and Eddie Kingston in the
- 2:28:24Speaker 1: main event. There's a main event for I imagine those promos, man,
- 2:28:31Speaker 1: Eddie cutting promos on corporate Cody, that'd be great. Doctor
- 2:28:37Speaker 1: Scorpio says, hide those belts from Mercedes. Oh shit, that's right, yeah,
- 2:28:41Speaker 1: I gotta I gotta cover these up here, man, Man,
- 2:28:44Speaker 1: I gotta, I gotta I don't know, man, I gotta
- 2:28:47Speaker 1: take them off the wall. She may be coming after
- 2:28:49Speaker 1: my belts. She's gonna have to fight me for him.
- 2:28:55Speaker 1: It's gonna take more than six meteors to beat me
- 2:28:57Speaker 1: for those belts. It's gonna have to come up with
- 2:28:59Speaker 1: another move. Devin from NJ who would solo rather have
- 2:29:06Speaker 1: be seen his final opponent the Rock or Austin theory.
- 2:29:09Speaker 1: None of the above, None of the above. Dried Chicken
- 2:29:13Speaker 1: says Don Kallas is giving Paul Hayman a run for
- 2:29:16Speaker 1: his money when it comes to recruiting people to his faction. Oh,
- 2:29:19Speaker 1: I would say Paul Hayman has some catching up to do.
- 2:29:23Speaker 1: He's got some catching up to do. Oz and Glorio
- 2:29:26Speaker 1: is how long before WWE signs Rajah Jackson. I'll tell
- 2:29:31Speaker 1: you what there is. I saw this on PW Insider.
- 2:29:35Speaker 1: The promotion where this has happened is Knox Pro That
- 2:29:37Speaker 1: is Rakishi's promotion, and they are a WWEID designated affiliate.
- 2:29:41Speaker 1: They have been WWEID designated since October and there is
- 2:29:46Speaker 1: definitely talk going on about potentially that changing very soon.
- 2:29:52Speaker 1: They may have potentially lost their ID designation because of this.
- 2:29:57Speaker 1: We'll see, maybe they should power spying games. Dumb babyface
- 2:30:06Speaker 1: syndrome was strong tonight. Oh yes it was. It rears
- 2:30:10Speaker 1: its ugly head every now and then. And Dryed Chicken
- 2:30:14Speaker 1: says Lloyd Christmas has a question for you, solo, what
- 2:30:17Speaker 1: are the chances of aw and WWE doing a joint show? Well,
- 2:30:22Speaker 1: I have a sound effect for that. That is where
- 2:30:28Speaker 1: you can send that question, because the chances of that
- 2:30:30Speaker 1: are zero. If I could give you a number less
- 2:30:36Speaker 1: than zero, I would, but zero is as low as
- 2:30:39Speaker 1: you can go. Rakkeishi's I would imagine Rakishi's promotion is done. Now,
- 2:30:48Speaker 1: I wouldn't say it's done. I mean, they've been around
- 2:30:50Speaker 1: sixteen years. But as far as the WWEID affiliate, I
- 2:30:53Speaker 1: wouldn't want to be associated with a company that allows
- 2:30:55Speaker 1: something like that to happen. I can tell you that
- 2:31:00Speaker 1: everyone just standing around with his guy is fucking beaten
- 2:31:03Speaker 1: to death, almost fucking beaten half to death in the
- 2:31:05Speaker 1: middle of the ring. Anyway, Thank you guys. This has
- 2:31:11Speaker 1: been a very uh interesting stream given everything that's going
- 2:31:14Speaker 1: on here. I have the exterminator in his b suit
- 2:31:16Speaker 1: downstairs somewhere working on things. This fucking has matt suit
- 2:31:22Speaker 1: working on things spraying shit. I'm like, should I be
- 2:31:24Speaker 1: worried about this stuff that's being sprayed? No? No, no,
- 2:31:27Speaker 1: it's fine, Like, okay, all right, just checking. Well, hopefully
- 2:31:34Speaker 1: I'll be here for the raw post show tomorrow night.
- 2:31:37Speaker 1: If not, then I may have succumbed to whatever is
- 2:31:40Speaker 1: being sprayed here. But I have to give you guys
- 2:31:42Speaker 1: an update on my yellowjacket situation. Hopefully they'll begin dying
- 2:31:47Speaker 1: off tomorrow, but I'll be here hopefully for the raw.
- 2:31:50Speaker 1: Oh yes, so okay, the schedule is a little bit
- 2:31:52Speaker 1: different tomorrow, so Raw Raw is airing on Netflix at
- 2:31:58Speaker 1: three o'clock Eastern for every so it's an early Raw.
- 2:32:01Speaker 1: Don't forget early Raw in Birmingham, England. Tomorrow. I will
- 2:32:05Speaker 1: be live on the channel barring any exterminator issues eight
- 2:32:10Speaker 1: o'clock Eastern like I was supposed to be tonight, so
- 2:32:14Speaker 1: eight pm Eastern Tomorrow, I will go live for the review.
- 2:32:18Speaker 1: But Raw begins at three, so I guess three to
- 2:32:21Speaker 1: five thirty will be Raw tomorrow, so just be aware
- 2:32:23Speaker 1: of that. Go back and check out episode nine twenty
- 2:32:26Speaker 1: six as well of the sound off. If you missed it.
- 2:32:29Speaker 1: A lot of good shit on the podcast two hours worth,
- 2:32:33Speaker 1: go check it out. Terrible Dried Chicken says one more,
- 2:32:36Speaker 1: not the bees, You're the bee's knees, Terrible Dried Chicken,
- 2:32:39Speaker 1: thank you for all the super chats and everybody else too.
- 2:32:42Speaker 1: Thank you for all the support tonight. It's been a
- 2:32:45Speaker 1: very stressful night, but you made it a little easier.
- 2:32:48Speaker 1: For me to navigate, and I will see you tomorrow
- 2:32:52Speaker 1: for the Raw post show. Be well, be well, hahah
- 2:32:56Speaker 1: be well. Stay safe, I'll see you tomorrow. Take care, guys,
