- 0:24It's time for the truth be told with Booker Scott.
- 0:28We're in April, but it's starting to feel like groundhog day about every two weeks.
- 0:33Every two weeks we have another deadline for Iran.
- 0:36Donald Trump draws a line in the sand, and here we are again.
- 0:40It seems like we were just here.
- 0:42And we were two weeks ago.
- 0:44I'm Booker.
- 0:45This is The Truth Be Told.
- 0:46It's Monday.
- 0:47That means Mondays with Matt.
- 0:49You see him on Fox News Business and also on Newsmax, and he's written eleven books, and he's always here on Monday nights.
- 0:56Matt, great to have you back.
- 0:58There is a lot we need to talk about tonight.
- 1:00Always good to be back.
- 1:01Let's get right to Iran as we start this hour.
- 1:04We had the Strait of Hormoes conversation last week, and it was blocked, and then Donald Trump checkmated them.
- 1:11And he puts a blockade on that completely worked and brought Iran to its knees.
- 1:16And then over the weekend, Iran says, Well, we're gonna uh shut down the Strait of Hormuz again.
- 1:21Quickly on Sunday, uh the Navy bombed an Iranian vessel there in the Strait of Hormuz, a big one, about 900 feet.
- 1:29They shot a missile right into the engine room, and I guess now the Navy has control of that Iranian vessel.
- 1:36What do you make of all of this?
- 1:37It's a great move for the blockade, but are we going to get to a point where Donald Trump says, finally he's had enough and he starts blowing up the bridges and the other infrastructure in Iran?
- 1:48Uh well, we need to have some sort of show of force.
- 1:50I mean, Iran, their biggest point of leverage is control of the straight of Hormuz.
- 1:55And listen, we have the biggest military in the world plus NETO.
- 2:00Um, obviously, all these other NETO countries that we're allied with have a vested interest in keeping this straight open.
- 2:06So uh, you know, I I'm no military expert, but I say we just seize the whole thing and make an ours of this point.
- 2:12I I don't disagree with you, and I found this clip of presidents and uh Hillary Clinton, Kamala Harris talking about Iran through the years.
- 2:23I don't understand why there is such a pushback on Donald Trump when it comes to Iran when everybody feels the same way.
- 2:32Listen to this, and then we'll talk about it on the other side of it.
- 2:35This is not a step I take lightly, but I am convinced that instituting a trade embargo with Iran is the most effective way our nation can help to curb that nation's drive to acquire devastating weapons and its continued support for terrorism.
- 2:49Bill Clinton.
- 2:50These countries understand that the Iranian nuclear issue is a problem and continues to be a problem that must be addressed by the international community.
- 3:05But just as it restricts the rights of its own people, the Iranian government continues to prop up a dictator in Damascus and supports terrorist groups abroad.
- 3:15Time and again it has failed to take the opportunity to demonstrate that its nuclear program is peaceful and to meet its obligations to the United Nations.
- 3:25So let me be clear.
- 3:26America wants to resolve this issue through diplomacy, and we believe that there is still time and space to do so.
- 3:33But that time is not unlimited.
- 3:54That's a terrible thing to say.
- 3:56But those people who run Iran need to understand that, because that perhaps will deter them from doing something that would be reckless, foolish, and tragic.
- 4:14And the Iranians have said uh we want a weapon.
- 4:18And it's not in the world's interest that they have a weapon.
- 4:22Uh and so we are working hard to continue the diplomacy necessary to send a focused message to the Iranian government, and that is your desires for a weapon are unacceptable.
- 4:37Don't mess with the men of America unless you want to get the best.
- 4:41Okay, that's uh bonehead.
- 4:44I will never hesitate to take whatever action is necessary to defend our forces and our interests against Iran and Iran-backed terrorists for deploying new approaches to the threat posed by Iran, and we're doing so with our eyes wide open and with no illusions.
- 5:04We know the imperative of preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons.
- 5:10After years during which the United States basically sat on the sidelines.
- 5:15Which foreign country do you consider to be our greatest adversary?
- 5:20I think there's uh an obvious um one in mind, which is Iran.
- 5:24Iran has American blood on their hands.
- 5:26Okay.
- 5:27This attack on Israel, 200 ballistic missiles.
- 5:31Um what we need to do to ensure that um Iran never achieves the ability to be a nuclear power.
- 5:41That is one of my highest priorities.
- 5:42So if you said Iran is building a nuclear weapon, would you take military action?
- 5:48I'm not gonna talk about hypothetical.
- 5:50That is 30 years of American leaders from Bill Clinton, George Bush, Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State, saying there is no way possible that Iran can ever have a nuclear weapon.
- 6:04One man comes along and he does it.
- 6:07He is doing it right now in Iran, and everybody hates him for it.
- 6:12It makes no sense whatsoever that the hate for one person does away with 30 years of American history in every one of these leaders saying the identical thing, the same thing that Donald Trump has said for 25 years.
- 6:26Now he has the opportunity, he's doing it.
- 6:28Matt, make it make sense somehow.
- 6:31Well, it's because so much of politics is now just trying to slate the other side at any cost, even when the other side is right, and even when the other side did something he wanted them to do.
- 6:40Um, you know, we we've talked in the show in the past too about how you go back 30 years and you know, you listen to Democrats talk about the border, and they sound pretty similar to Trump.
- 6:50Now, obviously, none of them took as severe and successful action as Trump did, but at least they said the right things rhetorically.
- 6:58Yeah.
- 6:59Crime crime was another issue where I mean the big crime legislation of the 90s was championed by Joe Biden.
- 7:00Another issue where I mean the big crime legislation of the 90s was championed by Joe Biden.
- 7:06Uh, it was actually very successful.
- 7:06It was actually very successful.
- 7:07The murder rate went down, I think 75% or so throughout the nineties, and obviously it was a ton of other policies as well.
- 7:07The murder rate went down, I think 75% or so throughout the 90s, and obviously it was a ton of other policies as well.
- 7:14Um in different cities.
- 7:14Um, in different cities.
- 7:16But but you know, but the point being the Democrats' rhetoric on crime was actually acknowledging that crime was a bad thing, and uh for some reason it was just you know, 15, 20 uh years later, it's the exact opposite, where they are now the party that is pro-crime, and under under Joe Biden, we saw in most major things, he's doubling of the murder rate.
- 7:16But you know, but the point being the Democrats rhetoric on crime was actually acknowledging that crime was a bad thing, and uh for some reason it was just you know, 15, 20 years later, it's the exact opposite.
- 7:29We're there now the party.
- 7:36Like it was the complete opposite.
- 7:38And then now that Republicans want to fight crime, all of a sudden they're finding these excuses for criminals.
- 7:43And it's it's damning in that it proves that they know what the right thing is morally and policy-wise, and are choosing to pretend otherwise.
- 7:52And Matt, I think you have to ask the question if they know the difference.
- 7:56Why are they doing what they're doing?
- 7:58Is it only because of Donald Trump?
- 7:59I would say this.
- 8:00Donald Trump was the anti-establishment candidate that so many of us had always wanted in this country.
- 8:07I know I had for years said if we could just get a businessman into the White House, someone that signed paychecks and knew what it was like to run a business, he wouldn't run a business like our government is run, or he wouldn't run the government like uh our government is currently run.
- 8:22And since he came down the escalator, they have pushed back against him because he is not one of them.
- 8:29And the reason why is the greater ideology.
- 8:32You have the people on the left that want you to want everything from the government.
- 8:38They want government to be your answer for everything.
- 8:41They want to replace your God with government, and that's what socialism is.
- 8:45And I have a clip here from Justice Clarence Thomas.
- 8:49He spoke last weekend.
- 8:50I don't know if you saw any of that, Matt, but I'm gonna play I'm gonna play a clip here for about a minute because he gets into this.
- 8:57He gets into progressivism and the declaration of independence, and how they really don't match.
- 9:03You can't have one with the other.
- 9:05You gotta do away with one or the other.
- 9:16It holds that our rights and our dignities come not from God, but from government.
- 9:23It requires of the people a subservience and weakness incompatible with a constitution premised on the transcendent origin of our rights.
- 9:34The century of progressivism did not go well.
- 9:38The European system that Wilson and the progressives scolded Americans for not adopting, which he called nearly perfect, led to the governments that caused the most awful century that the world has ever seen.
- 9:54Stalin, Hitler, Mussolini, and Mao all were intertwined with the rise of progressivism, and all were opposed to the natural rights on which our declaration are based.
- 10:09Many progressives express admiration for each of them shortly before their governments killed tens of millions of people.
- 10:18They killed tens of millions, and that's what it takes when you take away people's freedom.
- 10:23You have to shut them down, you have to keep them quiet.
- 10:26And I think Matt from 30,000 feet, that's what Donald Trump is doing.
- 10:31He is the only leader in this world right now that stands in that chasm between where they want to take us and where we used to be.
- 10:40Does that make sense?
- 10:42Yeah, there is a uh popular internet meme where it's a photo of Trump and it says, you know, they're not after me, they're after you, I'm just in the way.
- 10:50It you know, it's been posted 10 million times, and it's true every single time.
- 10:55That really, you know, it I think people realize, like when people when liberals are attacking Donald Trump.
- 11:01If you ever sort of feel like you're taking it personally, and you're like, wait, why am I taking this personally if they're if they're talking about you know the president?
- 11:09Well, it's because you know deep down inside it's really about you.
- 11:12And I I would even, you know, I was never a big Mitt Romney fan back in 2012, but you know, I voted for him, obviously.
- 11:18But you know, when people would talk about Romney and all these horrible things about him, like I realize they're really talking about me.
- 11:24Like it's not just the the person, and they they do see us as one and the same.
- 11:29But no, yeah, Trump is a true anti-establishment candidate, and he is the greatest threat to the system there ever really has been.
- 11:36And he also proves that you know, there's so many issues where we pretend there is no solution.
- 11:42So immigration, for how many decades was it?
- 11:45Well, we need a pathway to citizenship and blah blah blah reform and uh 10,000 pages of legislation that all coincidentally benefit the left.
- 11:54That that's what we were told.
- 11:56And it turns out no, there is actually a magical switch you can press and just solve the problem.
- 12:01Uh, it's the same with crime, you know.
- 12:02And in L, you know, it's always, oh, we need to improve socioeconomic factors and hire more teachers and have more after-school programs and lower poverty, and then that'll get rid of crime.
- 12:14Well, did El Salvador do a single one of those things when its murder rate went down 99%?
- 12:20Uh no.
- 12:21And in fact, there are countless cases in America of cities that have put into place tough on crime policies and saw severe declines in crime, even as the poverty rate increased.
- 12:32So, you know, it's just let's one of the things about Trump is he just proves that certain things are doable, and psychologically that it has an impact.
- 12:40It tells voters not to buy the less narrative and their obfuscation.
- 12:43Yeah, I agree with that.
- 12:45And you know, for 50 years, we have tried all of those things with uh socioeconomics and uh you know urban areas, it still didn't work, it still hasn't worked.
- 12:55Those people are still disadvantaged, and nothing the government did was successful, so we probably shouldn't even look at that.
- 13:03Have you looked at the race in Virginia that is taking place?
- 13:06There's an election Tuesday of this week, and uh yeah, one of the things that they are doing is they're going to vote on changing the constitution.
- 13:16Now they did this just five years ago.
- 13:18The people of Virginia decided to uh make gerrymandering illegal in the constitution.
- 13:24Now they are voting to put it back in, and they're doing this because of Spanbarger, who is making a mess out of Virginia from the second amendment to now gerrymandering, bringing it back.
- 13:35By the way, there are only five Republicans in the entire state of Virginia in the House of Representatives, and this is a state that voted for Glenn Youncan twice.
- 13:45Uh they uh Donald Trump only lost by five percent.
- 13:49So that would tell you that there are quite a bit uh of Republicans there in that state.
- 13:54Forty-five, fifty percent of the state.
- 13:56It's you know, just barely a little bit more Democrat than Republican, but they only have five representatives because they have gerrymandered completely, which is why when Glenn Youncan was the governor, they they voted for it on a referendum, and it worked.
- 14:00But they only have five representatives because they have gerrymandered completely, which is why when Glenn Youncan was the governor, they they voted for it on a referendum, and it worked.
- 14:12So now it's part of their constitution, and Spamberger is bringing it back.
- 14:12So now it's part of their constitution, and Spamberger is bringing it back.
- 14:15And Senator Tim Kane from the state of Virginia, he was on with Shannon Breen Sunday, and here is a little bit of that.
- 14:15And Senator Tim Kane from the state of Virginia, he was on with Shannon Bream Sunday, and here is a little bit of that.
- 14:22When when listen, let's talk about the last vote there in Virginia.
- 14:25The presidential vote, uh, vice president Kamala Harris won by about five percentage points.
- 14:26Vice President Kamala Harris won by about five percentage points.
- 14:29So this
- 14:29So the state is relatively split with a left lean, but 90% of House members from Virginia being from one party.
- 14:35Um 90% of Virginians are not Democrats.
- 14:37That's true.
- 14:38And about a hundred percent of Virginians want election results to be respected.
- 14:43We're deeply worried that Donald Trump will try to interfere with the election results this November or in 2028, because we saw him do it before.
- 14:51And we have to have a Congress that will stand up to it.
- 14:54In 2021, all five Republicans in Virginia went along with Donald Trump and his effort to overturn election results.
- 15:02And so we're giving Virginians a chance to vote, which Republican states have not done about whether they want to have a congressional delegation that will stand up against Donald Trump's tyranny.
- 15:12I don't understand, Matt, how these people can just lie like they do with no consequences.
- 15:18Donald Trump didn't try to overturn an election.
- 15:22He tried to get an election looked at.
- 15:24That was the whole purpose of everything that happened after that election in 2020.
- 15:29I have a little bit of news coming up also a little bit later about Sidney Powell and that election from 2020.
- 15:35But there you have it.
- 15:36This is on the ballot now.
- 15:38By the way, the governor, the new governor of Virginia, who was just elected last November, her approval rating is now down to 47%.
- 15:52I mean, it seemed like he was trying to make it though.
- 15:55It sound like something Trump is currently doing in elections.
- 15:58And uh again, if that's the case, like uh I I was a wish he was just getting smoked in every special election there is.
- 16:06I mean, I'm in Morris County, and we got redistricted to now Essex County, which is very, very left leaning, is now part of our district.
- 16:13But a socialist just won in a 6040 blowout in our district.
- 16:18Sure does.
- 16:18And even if you just look at Mike Howani, I believe it was still it was still like a nine point win for the socialists.
- 16:25So the Democrats are benefiting from very low turnout, and that listen, if you have an area where at a special election, you know, 10% of people vote, but you get 15% of Democrats to turn out, like that five percentage points is 50% more than the five, the 10 percentage points of Republicans that are going to turn out.
- 16:47So you could easily get these crazy lopsided results, which is what we're seeing in all these special elections.
- 16:53And with Virginia, yes, I I predict that the voters that you know it's gonna seem paradoxical.
- 16:59How could the voters vote to ban gerrymandering and then also add an amendment undoing that?
- 17:05Well, because different people are going to be turning out.
- 17:08The trend's gonna be very low, and it's gonna be every federal worker in Virginia is going to turn out.
- 17:14So I I predict that um she's gonna get our way with this.
- 17:17Yeah, I think you're right.
- 17:19Yeah, and I will say, you know, Spanberger presented herself as a moderate during the campaign and is now doing all this crazy left-wing stuff.
- 17:30And and I thought at first, like, well, at least the good news is Democrats at least have to pretend to be moderate to get elected, but I don't think I actually now don't think it mattered, given that you know my district just elected a socialist, and she did not hide her beliefs whatsoever.
- 17:45So I do think the base really is totally on board with it.
- 17:48I'm starting to believe that too.
- 17:49I looked into the Michigan Senate race this past week, and Bernie Sanders candidate is now leading for the Democrats in the primary, and Elizabeth Warren's uh candidate is right there neck and neck.
- 18:02And both both of them are socialists.
- 18:04Sanders Socialist candidate would not condemn an Islamic terror attack because he was worried he would get blowback in Gearborn Michigan and lose support there.
- 18:15So those are the kind of people who are with him.
- 18:17He recently, uh drawing a blank on his name, today's an Arab name.
- 18:20Yes, it is.
- 18:21Yes, he uh shared a stage with Hassan Piker, who is a left-wing internet personality who openly says that America deserved 9-11.
- 18:32He is a propagandist for Hezbollah, and for whatever reason has gotten away without registering for Farah.
- 18:39So these are the kind of people he's associating with and is uh doing quite well in the polls, it seems.
- 18:44I mean, when you look at his competition, it's not surprising.
- 18:47Well, and then you have Mike Rogers, the Republican that will probably be the person that runs on the Republican side.
- 18:54He was endorsed by Donald Trump in 24.
- 18:57The Republicans, MAGA people did not support Mike Rogers, and he got beat by 20,000 votes by uh actual CIA operative deep stater in Alessa Slotkin.
- 19:09So now she's the senator for six years.
- 19:11Mike Rogers got beat by 20,000 votes because Republicans didn't show up, and that is a continuing pattern we're seeing.
- 19:20Is if every single person on the scene that voted for Donald Trump had voted for Rogers, Slacken would have lost.
- 19:27But there was like a hundred thousand Republicans who did not vote for either one in the Senate race, and they literally called us that race.
- 19:34Well, you know, and one thing that I kept seeing we were doing a Senate initiative, and Mike Rogers was one of the candidates we were supporting, and many of us were getting cussed out daily by MAGA because they said Mike Rogers was a deep stater.
- 19:49And I'm like, well, he uh you're your president, Donald Trump, your guy endorsed him, so now you're smarter than Donald Trump is.
- 19:56There's a reason why Donald Trump endorsed him because he can win this race.
- 20:00And they just decided not to vote for either one of them.
- 20:03And the number 130,000 less people voted for Mike Rogers than voted for Donald Trump.
- 20:09If every one of them had voted for Mike Rogers, he would have beat Slotkin by 110,000.
- 20:14That's that's the numbers on that.
- 20:16You heard a little bit of Joe Biden there when I played that clip of all the Democrats and also George Bush, who was in that mix as well, talking about Iran.
- 20:24Well, Biden was back giving a speech over the weekend.
- 20:28Did you see that?
- 20:29He was in Syracuse.
- 20:30I guess it was last week, Syracuse Law School.
- 20:33I I missed it.
- 20:34I'm sure it was very enlightening.
- 20:36Well, let's listen to a little bit.
- 20:37Here's a 10 seconds of Joe Biden and his speech at Syracuse Law School.
- 20:43I got married in Scanna after my first year in law school.
- 20:47With a huge reception thrown by the Hunter family.
- 20:52He went to law school.
- 20:54That's it.
- 20:54And the Hunter family threw him a party.
- 20:56One more time, Joe Biden giving a speech.
- 20:59I wonder how much he was paid to say this.
- 21:00Much he was paid to say this.
- 21:03I got managed can ask after my first year in law school.
- 21:07The huge reception thrown by the Hunter family.
- 21:09The Hunter family threw him a reception.

- 23:19Oh, there is so much to talk about.
- 23:23You have a RAN, you have what is, I guess they're calling it a skinny reconciliation bill trying to get the government open back up for DHS and ice.
- 23:33And I don't like that idea, Matt.
- 23:35And let me tell you why.
- 23:36I'm going to tell you why.
- 23:38Reconciliations are allowed, and it only takes 51 votes.
- 23:42And two of them are allowed in a year, but they have ne it has never been done.
- 23:46It was attempted in Donald Trump's first presidency.
- 23:49It didn't work.
- 23:50And if the Republicans waste their reconciliation this year on only the DHS portion of the appropriations from last year, then what are they going to do about what they need to do coming up before September 30th, which is pass another reconciliation, or the government is going to be shut down the entire time during the election window for the midterm election, and that will just be a doomsday for the Republicans.
- 24:17I agree.
- 24:18That's all you got.
- 24:20I agree.
- 24:22I know you're just explaining it to me.
- 24:23I didn't know he's a comment.
- 24:24I didn't know if you had a comment.
- 24:26Do you have a comment?
- 24:26No?
- 24:27Okay.
- 24:27Well, we can't.
- 24:28No, no, I just I thought I was getting, you know, lecture here.
- 24:30I didn't realize they had to.
- 24:32I don't what did it sound like a lecture?
- 24:34Is that what it sounded like?
- 24:35Oh, I'm sorry.
- 24:36You're explaining the rule.
- 24:37I thought, you know, there's more to come, but um I uh well, you said okay, so you said there's the they've never used both reconciliations in a year, is what you were saying.
- 24:47Well, it's never happened.
- 24:48They have tried.
- 24:49It's been attempted.
- 24:50It's very difficult to get too past because it's it's never been done.
- 24:54So are they gonna they're gonna waste this one on this little skinny DHS portion of an appropriations that really and truly, if we're honest with each other, the Republicans should have used their reconciliation prior to last September 30th, and then none of the government shutdowns would have happened.
- 25:11They would have lost none of the narrative, but instead, because they didn't do that, the Democrats have shut down the government a couple of times, and ultimately it's up to the Republicans to pass that budget in some form, whether it's uh done through uh the 60 votes in the Senate, which would never happen with the Democrats.
- 25:30So you just take them out of the mix completely, you cut spending again, then you do it just like the big beautiful bill, and then you pass it with reconciliation.
- 25:39That's what needs to happen.
- 25:40And unfortunately, I I just don't know that the Republicans are going to be able to do it.
- 25:45Again, they're working on something right now that should have been done last September.
- 25:49Meanwhile, if you look ahead on the calendar, September is what, six, seven months away?
- 25:54And we're working on September that was six or seven months behind us.
- 25:58So I don't put much uh uh I I don't have a lot of confidence that it's gonna be done.
- 26:03Five months away.
- 26:03Yeah.
- 26:05Oh, it's five months.
- 26:06Okay, well, we're five months ahead, and we're still working on something from seven months behind, and they still haven't done that.
- 26:12Let's talk about Eric Swall.
- 26:13Well, we talked about it a little bit last week, and both of us, I think at the time were, well, let's wait and see where these allegations go.
- 26:20However, both of us can't stand Eric Swalwell, and we're glad it was happening.
- 26:25However, it was obvious to both of us it was a hit job from the get uh from the get-go because of what was happening in that California race, which by the way, now Democrats want to change it.
- 26:35They want to change it to ranked choice voting instead instead of the top two.
- 26:40The way it works in California, if you missed last week, the top two vote getters in the primary, regardless of their political party.
- 26:47They go on to the general election.
- 26:49Uh, Steve Hilton and Chad Bianco, a sheriff in California, they were the top polling at the top, and there were so many Democrats running that it was probably going to be tough for a Democrat to get in the top two.
- 27:01Eric Swalwell was the leader.
- 27:03He's out now, and it is uh what Tom Stire, Tom Steyr is now leading in the polls.
- 27:10You're gonna end up getting another Democrat and probably one that's worse than Gavin Newsom, if you want to be honest about it.
- 27:16So Tom Steyr will end up winning that race in California because of what they did to Eric Swalwell, and ultimately, it's not what they did to Eric Swalwell, it's who Eric Swalwell is.
- 27:26And I find it interesting that they knew all of this for years, and they had all of this information, but they waited until the time to use it, and I think that says a lot about how things in Congress work.
- 27:39Nancy Pelosi, Adam Schiff, they propped they propped him up for years and years.
- 27:46And they probably had all this information then, and maybe that's why he was out front saying the things that he was, and then when he was no longer useful, all of that information was used against him.
- 27:57That's the way I see it.
- 27:58Well, yeah, and you know, it makes the whole thing thing story even that more damning in that this guy was very susceptible to sexual black male, and uh obviously that's one of the last things we want, and someone who I I think he was in the Intel committee.
- 28:00The whole Feng Fang story even that more damning in that this guy was very susceptible to sexual black male, and uh obviously that's one of the last things we want, and someone who I I think he was in the Intel committee.
- 28:12Am I wrong?
- 28:12Am I wrong?
- 28:12No, yes, no, he was.
- 28:13Yes, no, he was.
- 28:14Yeah.
- 28:14Yeah.
- 28:14Okay, yeah.
- 28:14Okay, yeah.
- 28:15So it's also on the Intel committee.
- 28:15So it's still on the Intel committee.
- 28:17Um, but yeah, so it was all manufactured.
- 28:17Um, but yeah, so it was all manufactured.
- 28:20And you know, whatever Democrats or the media are doing the right thing, it's it's not because they want to do the right thing, it's because they want to help the Democratic Party.
- 28:20And you know, whenever Democrats or the media are doing the right thing, it's it's not because they want to do the right thing, it's because they want to help the Democratic Party.
- 28:28And I think I pointed this out loud.
- 28:28And I think I I pointed this out last week.
- 28:30Like, you know, after the first but and only Biden Trump debate, all of a sudden every liberal in the media and in Congress was the voice of reason on, you know, Biden, I guess he's not there mentally, and we need to get him out.
- 28:45And you know, many of these same exact people were calling people conspiracy theorists for suggesting that Biden wasn't there.
- 28:51Jake Capper comes to mind where he berated Larry Trump um years prior for claiming that Biden you know might not be all there mentally, and then was I think actually ended up writing an entire book on the cover off, which is hilarious because he was part of the cover-up.
- 29:06Yeah, um, but yeah, so that's why they sacrificed Swalwell.
- 29:10Uh although, you know, one question I have that you probably know the answer to is if the runoff does go between two Republicans facing each other.
- 29:19Can a Democrat run as a run as an independent?
- 29:22Because I I think they would still have a path to victory in that scenario.
- 29:26Yeah, I don't think that they can.
- 29:27I don't know for sure.
- 29:28Okay.
- 29:28I don't know.
- 29:29That would be awesome.
- 29:30I think I think the way it works in California is they pile everybody in there, regardless of party, including independence.
- 29:36And it comes down to two.
- 29:37It comes down to two at the end.
- 29:39This might my question was like if you can then launch a nonpartisan, what's the point of getting rid of Swallow?
- 29:44That makes way more sense.
- 29:45Yeah, they can't.
- 29:46And then also this week we had Tony Gonzalez, a Republican.
- 29:49He retired and resigned from the House of Representatives.
- 29:53We have news coming out about Corey Mills.
- 29:56That I believe will come out this week.
- 29:58And then you also have uh Sheila Sherfilis McCormick from South Florida, who stole five and a half million dollars and is still right there in Congress.
- 30:07I want to go to this compilation of Eric Swalwell, though, because here is the hypocrisy of this person, this man, this uh Democrat, this liberal anyway.
- 30:18Here's Eric Swal.
- 30:19For Brett Kavanaugh's sake, if he is innocent, I hope tomorrow he opens his statement and says, you know what?
- 30:25Bring in all the victims.
- 30:26It's really focus on like serious, violent, sexual.
- 30:32Those three.
- 30:33If you like throw the book at those three.
- 30:35Don't wear masks in our community.
- 30:36You're terrorizing women.
- 30:38Real men don't terrorize women.
- 30:40There's one group who has always known the danger of Donald Trump, and that's women.
- 30:45Uh as somebody who has spent my time in Congress working to stand up for the rights of victims, uh, sexual assault victims deserve justice.
- 30:52This is the most damning part of all of this.
- 30:54With Swallow, obviously, we believe that innocence are proven guilty.
- 30:58There's a legal process to go through.
- 31:00But he doesn't believe it.
- 31:02His words for past allegations against other people.
- 31:05He had a certain standard.
- 31:06And it's going to be very hard to escape the words that he used for others for his situation.
- 31:12And you know, I'm listening to Lawrence there, Matt, and then I'm feeling bad about how much slack we gave Swalwell last week because we gave him a lot.
- 31:20He didn't give anybody any slack at all through the years, did he?
- 31:24No, and you know, last week we were saying that you know it seems like he is not necessarily committing sexual assault or rape.
- 31:32He is the kind of guy who would pressure women where they're put in this gray area where yes, they're still choosing to sleep with him, but they were there was pressure put on the paramount.
- 31:46Women, since we didn't recorded that have come out with far more explicit um depictions of of you know, uh encounters with him.
- 31:56Um there was one that retained Gloria Alred's daughter as a lawyer.
- 32:00I don't know her name, unfortunately, but I believe she was the fifth accuser to come forward.
- 32:04And you know, listen, I to be perfectly fair to Eric Swalwell, even though he has never been to anyone else, um, or Lisa Bloom is the lawyer's name.
- 32:11Yes.
- 32:12Um she she has pushed a lot of hoaxes in the past.
- 32:15She also I believe she took part in the Brett Hat Cavanaugh witch hunt.
- 32:20So she she's not the most credible person ever, but it is her client we're talking about.
- 32:24Um, regardless, uh okay.
- 32:26Best case scenario for Eric Swalwell is he cheated on his wife and made himself a national security risk.
- 32:32So that that's the absolute best case scenario, and um, yeah, not a not a great place to be in.
- 32:38No, he could be going to prison, actually.
- 32:40Another thing that he will be getting for the rest of his life is a pension.
- 32:45You know, he gets a pension from Congress for the rest of his life.
- 32:48It only takes serving for five years.
- 32:50So when you look at these other people, Bob Menendez up there in your neck of the woods in New Jersey, you know, he's gonna get a pension for the rest of his life because he was there forever.
- 32:59Let's go to Josh Holly and his words on Eric Swalwell this week.
- 33:03I don't have any doubt about it, Jesse, because he had become a liability, and you pointed out she knew all about this.
- 33:09She was briefed by the FBI back in 2020.
- 33:13He's talking about Nancy Pelosi, and this is what I was talking about earlier.
- 33:17She knew everything about Eric Swalwell.
- 33:19She was briefed by the FBI about Fang Fang, and they still put her on the Intel committee.
- 33:25That the guy was a target of a Chinese spy, Feng Fang.
- 33:28And by the way, Feng Fang probably got a medal of commendation.
- 33:31That's like the worst espionage assignment in the history of the world.
- 33:34But Swalwell fell for it.
- 33:36She knew that he was a liability.
- 33:37She knew he was a problem.
- 33:38She could use it as leverage until it blew up in her face, and now he's gone.
- 33:42And Jesse, this is why Congress needs to pass legislation.
- 33:45I'm introducing it today that would deny pensions to every member of Congress who's convicted of a sex offense.
- 33:52Right now, you could be convicted and still get your pension.
- 33:56The only thing the government ought to be paying for for people like Eric Swalwell is a jail cell.
- 34:01And I hope that happens, but I hope this legislation also goes somewhere and gets passed.
- 34:06They shouldn't be sitting in a jail cell.
- 34:08They shouldn't be doing things because of the power that they have in Congress.
- 34:12They get arrested, they get convicted, and then they get their pension for life.
- 34:16I just don't think that that's right.
- 34:18I think there are a lot of things that we need to look at when it comes to these pensions.
- 34:22Marjorie Taylor Green was another one.
- 34:24We talked about it on this program back then.
- 34:26She decided to resign and retire from the House of Representatives.
- 34:30And she made the effective date one day after, one day after her fifth year, so that she got pensioned.
- 34:38And I found that uh, you know, very interesting.
- 34:40And we're really the people are really the only ones that can do anything about it.
- 34:44When we get frustrated enough, then we will.
- 34:47Let's go to the Pope, because Pope and Trump were in the news all last week.
- 34:52What did you make of all of that?
- 34:54Was it just a bunch of noise?
- 34:55Uh, it seems like it.
- 34:56It seems like the Pope is not taking it too seriously.
- 34:59Um, but uh yeah, that's really all I saw.
- 35:00But uh yeah, that's really all I saw.
- 35:02I uh listen, I I I I uh I you know, listen, when the the media does this thing whenever there's a new Pope where they try to make them into a liberal image, and they'll focus on like uh general criticism of Donald Trump, uh, maybe a pro immigration comment or a pro environmental comment.
- 35:02I uh listen, I I I uh I you know, listen, we when the the media does this thing whenever there's a new Pope where they try to make them into a liberal image, and they'll focus on like uh general criticism of Donald Trump, uh, maybe a pro-immigration comment or a pro-environmental comment.
- 35:22Uh and you know, I'm seeing Chuck Schumer did a speech on the Senate floor praising the Pope.
- 35:22Uh and you know, I'm seeing Chuck Schumer did a speech on the Senate floor praising the Pope.
- 35:27There are a bunch of Democrats tweeting out I'm on.
- 35:27There are a bunch of Democrats tweeting, and I'm on Team Pope, and I'm thinking, really?
- 35:32Like what are your thoughts on uh the Pope's stance of homosexuality or abortion or gay adoption?
- 35:39Right, or IVF or contraception.
- 35:42Like, like, come on.
- 35:43It's just you're using Christianity as a prop for your own, you know, uh your own beliefs.
- 35:49It's hypocrisy.
- 35:50That's what annoyed me.
- 35:51It's like you guys don't believe a word of this.
- 35:53You're just trying to get a dig in on Trump.
- 35:55And even the Pope isn't really engaging.
- 35:57He knew to brush it off and not take it too seriously.
- 35:59Yeah, I've got that clip.
- 36:00I'll play it here in a minute.
- 36:01First, let's listen to Representative Troy Nels, a former military guy smoking a cigar as he takes this reporter's questions.
- 36:10He reacted to uh Donald Trump's comments on the Pope over the weekend.
- 36:14I probably say the Pope needs to keep his business into leading his flock, so to speak, leading the church, and probably stay out of the political arena.
- 36:22He doesn't need to be getting involved in the political arena.
- 36:25Go lead your church, but stay out of the politics.
- 36:28We didn't elect we didn't elect the Pope to be the president or be the anything else.
- 36:32So just keep his nose in the church's business and stay out of the political arena.
- 36:36What if you see this role as sort of leading his flock away?
- 36:39No, lead his flock.
- 36:40Well, let's focus on just behavior too and everything else.
- 36:42Uh yeah, just focus on your flock, and Donald Trump is our president, it's not the Pope.
- 36:47I didn't elect the Pope to be president.
- 36:49I think that's some good advice.
- 36:50No one elected the Pope to be president.
- 36:53Let's stay focused on the things that we should be focused on.
- 36:56That's Representative Troy Nels there.
- 36:58I think he is spot on on that.
- 37:01But there were other people that made comments.
- 37:04You mentioned the Pope having his own comment.
- 37:06Let's listen to him as I believe he was trying to clean this up.
- 37:10Maybe he should have done this a little bit sooner, but he did eventually anyway, and here is that clip.
- 37:26When on the first day of the trip, President of the United States made some comments about myself.
- 37:32Much of what has been written since then has been more commentary on commentary, trying to interpret what has been said.
- 37:40Um, just one little example.
- 37:43The the talk that I gave at the prayer meeting for peace uh a couple days ago, it was prepared two weeks ago, well before the president ever commented on uh myself and on the message of peace that I am promoting.
- 37:59And yet, as it happens, it was looked at as if I was trying to debate again the president, which is not my interest at all.
- 38:07I believe that, Matt.
- 38:09I think that that's probably true.
- 38:10I don't think that he was trying to debate the president, and I think we should just leave it alone before we spend too much energy on something that really really doesn't even matter.
- 38:19Yeah, I will say one funny thing about Trump's truth social post criticizing the Pope was he said something like, I like his brother way more.
- 38:28That's because his brother is like a huge Trump supporter.
- 38:31Yeah, he's down here near me, man.
- 38:34The Pope's brother lives near me, and he is a huge MAGA guy.
- 38:37Yeah, he's well, he's down in Southwest Florida, not too far from me.
- 38:41But yeah, he's a he's a huge MAGA guy, and that would be a good idea.
- 38:45I should try to get him.
- 38:46That'd be so cool.
- 38:47Did you see Bill Maher over the weekend, and he was talking really similar to what you were saying a few minutes ago about the hypocrisy of the left and how they use whatever it is they need to use?
- 38:58So let's just go to Bill Maher.
- 39:00We'll let him tell you exactly what he said.
- 39:02I I love hypocritical America.
- 39:04I really do.
- 39:05See, the liberals suddenly love the Pope.
- 39:07The Pope who two weeks ago was all in the headlines.
- 39:10You know why?
- 39:11Exorcism.
- 39:12Yeah, this big thing about we got to extra the demons are all around.
- 39:15The devil's that's who the Pope is, okay?
- 39:17A guy who does exorcism, doesn't believe in gay marriage, no women priest, but now because he's feuding with with Trump, MSNBC loves this guy.
- 39:25He's got a big speech on the floor from Chuck Schumer, Eric Swalwell sent a big pick.
- 39:33And that's exactly what you were talking about.
- 39:35Yeah, so good for Bill.
- 39:37Yeah, yeah, and don't get fooled by him.
- 39:39He votes for Democrats.
- 39:41He is not a Republican, not a conservative, but you know, I I find him funny sometimes.
- 39:46I've never had a problem with him.
- 39:48There's five minutes of every episode where you're like, wow, this guy really guessed it, and then the rest of the episode is the dumbest thing ever heard.
- 39:54Yeah, and then you watch his podcast where he's smoking pot, and it's a completely different person.
- 39:59We're gonna continue on with the conversation.
- 40:00We're gonna talk about Sudan and the civil war that's happening there.
- 40:04I cannot tell a lie.
- 40:05My sinuses are blocked.
- 40:07George, you crossed the Delaware.
- 40:10You can cross congestion.

- 41:48Really do appreciate it.
- 41:49Whether you're listening live or you found us later on a podcast on one of many platforms, about 50 of them in total.
- 41:56So thank you for being here.
- 41:58I appreciate it.
- 41:58Let's talk about Sudan and a terrible war that nobody is talking about, Matt.
- 42:00And a terrible war that nobody is talking about, Matt.
- 42:03Nobody is talking about what's going on in Sudan, including the Pope.
- 42:03Nobody is talking about what's going on in Sudan, including the Pope.
- 42:07The Pope hasn't mentioned it.
- 42:07The Pope hasn't mentioned it.
- 42:08Uh well, that's the thing.
- 42:09Well, that's the thing.
- 42:10And you know, when I I I do hate when um, you know, someone draws attention to an issue and people always go, Well, why aren't you covering this bigger issue?
- 42:10And you know, when I I do hate when, you know, someone draws attention to an issue, and people always go, well, why aren't you covering this bigger issue?
- 42:19Uh well, this this kind of is the bigger issue.
- 42:19Well, this kind of is the bigger issue.
- 42:21Like, there is hundreds of thousands dead, uh, millions displaced, and Sudan already broke into two countries in I think it was twenty eleven, I think we got South.
- 42:21There is hundreds of thousands dead, uh, millions displaced.
- 42:25And Sudan already broke into two countries in I think it was 2011, I think we got South Sudan as a new country.
- 42:31Some of the people that fled Sudan went to South Sudan, where you're talking about.
- 42:36The numbers are astounding.
- 42:37400,000 people have died.
- 42:39You have 8 million kids that haven't been to a school in three years now.
- 42:44This war has been going on for three years.
- 42:46You have 30 million people that are near starvation.
- 42:49And nobody's talking about it.
- 42:51By the way, guess who is involved in the war?
- 42:54Iran and Russia.
- 42:56And nobody is talking about this war.
- 42:59Well, the thing too is, and I my understanding is the me one of the main groups called the RSF.
- 43:04Um, this isn't like um an issue I'm extremely knowledgeable about, but I know one of the sides, and I believe it's the RSF is aligned with Islamists.
- 43:13So you know, there even if you were to say like this isn't an American issue, why should we care?
- 43:18It could be down the line, for sure.
- 43:21Yeah.
- 43:21And it's because of Russia in Iran.
- 43:23And by the way, Saturday night, there was an Iranian national that was arrested in Los Angeles by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
- 43:32And they a lot they allege that she broker deals to sell Iranian-made drones, bombs, bomb fuses, assault weapons, and millions of rounds of ammunition to Sudan.
- 43:44And this is according to a newly unsealed criminal complaint.
- 43:49And I'm not sure of this woman's name exactly, but uh she's 44 years old in California, and she was arrested for still stealing or selling arms to Sudan where this war is going on.
- 44:01She's an Iranian, and if you look where Sudan is, it's on the Red Sea.
- 44:06It has the port of Sudan, which is very important, directly across from Saudi Arabia and Yemen.
- 44:13Who is in Yemen?
- 44:14The Houthis in Iran.
- 44:16So you can see how all of this sort of fits together.
- 44:19And it's again, we're not talking about it, so we're taking the time here to talk about it just a little bit.
- 44:25And I hope it you know brings enough attention when people start paying attention to what's going on there because it's affecting millions and millions of people.
- 44:33They have fled to Egypt, as I mentioned, South Sudan.
- 44:37Uh they're going to Chad.
- 44:38They're getting out of there.
- 44:3912 million people have left that country.
- 44:42It's not a big country.
- 44:4330 million right now are starving.
- 44:45And you can't even really get the food to help them, the humanitarian uh aid because of that port in Sudan.
- 44:52So I wanted to do a little bit on that tonight, but let's move on to Minnesota because in Minnesota they are now charging ice.
- 45:01They they have finally uh brought charges against one of the members of ICE, and he's not alone.
- 45:08They're going to try to do this over and over.
- 45:10They have a wack-a-doodle district attorney in Hennepin County.
- 45:14Yeah, who happens to be uh, you know, right up your alley, a George Soros person.
- 45:19Do you know much about Mary Moriarty?
- 45:21Yes, this one is actually Alex Soros.
- 45:23Um Alex took over.
- 45:25So the the fat um the super PAC that George Soros started to fund all these crazy DAs we see in the in the news.
- 45:32Alex Soros actually took over it in 2022 or 2023.
- 45:37So there's been a couple dozen that have been elected with his money.
- 45:41Um, actually, my book, The Air, I talked about there was one case in Texas where the George Soros DA wasn't uh performing the way they wanted.
- 45:51She kind of realized the policies were not working and were and reversed a lot of the progressive policies she initially implemented and then kind of went right wing politically.
- 46:00And then so Alex Soros has actually funded a primary challenger, so one of George Soros' DAs and ousted her for not being crazy enough.
- 46:09Wow.
- 46:09So that's so these are the deal that the Alex Soros was funding.
- 46:12But yes, Mary Mariah Tree is an Alex Soros DA.
- 46:16Um and she is someone who um, you know, whether or not the law gets enforced largely depends on your politics, or if she sees you as part of a victim group.
- 46:27Um, when she took office, there are a number of cases I reviewed in the book where you know she inherited, let's say, some murder cases where um, you know, there was supposed to be like a plea deal where they would get 20-year sentences or something.
- 46:41She would greatly reduce them to probation.
- 46:44That that sort of thing, where she would downgrade charges on extremely serious offenses, um, always up for probation or basically no consequences whatsoever over consequences.
- 46:55And she I think a lot of people on the right probably saw her in the news for the first time when there was a Tim Walls employee who was vandalizing people's Teslas.
- 47:05I think he did 25,000, 26,000 worth of damage.
- 47:09And she uh it was a Wednesday afternoon.
- 47:12She announced there would be no real charges against the guy.
- 47:16Yeah, he would just have to enter a diversion program.
- 47:19And her excuse was, well, you know, it wasn't a big enough crime to justify charges.
- 47:24Um the the threshold for vandalism for when there's supposed to be charges, I think is around a thousand dollars or so in the state.
- 47:32Yeah.
- 47:32Um, but the the reason I remember it was on a Wednesday was because the the Monday, two days before, there was a woman in the in the county who uh went to like a Denny's restaurant and vandalized uh someone she didn't like's car and did two or three thousand dollars worth of damage.
- 47:51And what do you know?
- 47:52She got charged for that criminally.
- 47:54So she did less damage, but there was no political motive.
- 47:58The guy who did more damage but did it for the left got off scot-free.
- 48:02So that's how she enforces the law, and she is gonna uh hold ice officers accountable for things she would never uh hold anyone else accountable.
- 48:12Let's listen to Tom Emmer.
- 48:13He is a representative for the people in Minnesota, and he was on Fox and he was talking about this very case.
- 48:21And I'm when I say criminal defense, she defends criminals at the expense of law-abiding citizens.
- 48:25Mary Moriarty should not have a law license, Joey.
- 48:30Maury Maryarty actually prosecuted a Minnesota state trooper.
- 48:34This is within the last two years, and she uh purposely refused to disclose exculpatory evidence, evidence that would have proven his innocence to the court.
- 48:44Uh literally, this woman should have been disbarred already.
- 48:47It's a it's a crime that she is still in the office.
- 48:50And the fact that she's doing this, this is just more of the uh the Tim Walls, the Keith Ellison, now Mary Moriarty.
- 48:57We hate Donald Trump, and this is how we're going to show it by going after uh law enforcement yet again.
- 49:00Going to show it by going after uh law enforcement yet again.
- 49:03And I'll tell you what, most Minnesotans are thrilled with President Trump and the fact that we've got 4,000 rapists, murderers, uh uh pedophiles, drug dealers, uh 4,000 of them off our streets, and they found another 3,000 uh missing migrant children.
- 49:19That's the track record that we should be talking about.
- 49:19That's the track record that we should be talking about.
- 49:22That accentuates the positive, but for some reason in Minnesota, these people are just wackadoodle.
- 49:22That accentuates the positive, but for some reason in Minnesota, these people are just wackadoodle, and I can't figure it out.
- 49:28And I can't figure it out.
- 49:29I know people.
- 49:29I know people in Minnesota, I have been there, it's a beautiful state, but it seems like maybe because they are so nice that they've been taking it taken advantage of in some ways.
- 49:39And I'm not sure.
- 49:40Uh last week also, here's another one.
- 49:42Minnesota Judge Brassell, she sentenced uh pirate Somali Jamie, if you saw this story, to only six months in prison.
- 49:51This is one of those people that created uh did all the fraud there in Minneapolis in Minnesota under with Tim Walls, and it was five point six million dollars is what this Somalian stole from us, the U.S.
- 50:05taxpayer.
- 50:06Six month sentence.
- 50:08If there was one, there was one where the jury found the guy guilty, and then the judge just decided to overturn it.
- 50:15Turn it over.
- 50:16I know.
- 50:16Yeah.
- 50:16Yeah.
- 50:17There was there's there was another where it was uh well, it was it was Somali fraud related where a they the uh Somalian would they wanted to pay someone on the jury 200,000 to bribe them to like acquit the Somali fraudster, and the Somalian they hired to deliver the money, stole $80,000 of the bribe, and then herself got convicted for theft.
- 50:43Like these are the people we're dealing with.
- 50:45Well, you know, for $5.6 million, I do it for six months.
- 50:51We'll go in together.
- 50:52What do we do?
- 50:53I have a I have a suspicion though that if you and I do it, something else is gonna happen to us.
- 50:58I did see that a pastor in Jacksonville, his name is Alex Eichelberger, former pastor now, he was uh sentenced for stealing 50,000 in PPP.
- 51:09That happened last week, so that is still happening.
- 51:11Don't forget 500 billion to one trillion dollars was stolen from people like your neighbors during COVID.
- 51:19They took that much money from you from the American taxpayer, and so far we have collected about 120 million of that as people are continued to be prosecuted for stealing that money.
- 51:30However, in Minnesota, I guess they really don't prosecute anyone if you happen to be of the right race or the right ethnicity.
- 51:38Yeah, I think that's what it comes down to, don't you?
- 51:40Uh, tragically so.
- 51:41And you know, I I I think there's a lot of research on you know, even jury bias.
- 51:47And you know, the laps messaging of white people are racist, only they can be racist, everyone else is a victim.
- 51:54It has in the past 20 years actually started to show up where if you have a black defendant that seems guilty and the jury pool is majority black, it's like basically a coin flip, whether or not they'll get off.
- 52:08But if you have a white person that's convicted of a crime, it's pretty much you know, you much more fair in terms of the actual outcome.
- 52:16But you know, relative to a system that is biased in favor of every any every other group, fairness is actually uh like like it it's uh it's to your own detriment relative to if you were another race.
- 52:28But uh no, tragically, that seems to be how a criminal justice system works.
- 52:32And uh one of the things about El Salvador's fight against crime that hasn't gotten as much attention is the mass firing of these enabler judges because uh the you know there is this one judge named Rachel West.
- 52:46I think she used to be a Democrat, but changed Republican in the past two years, and she keeps going viral on YouTube, uh, X, TikTok, etc.
- 52:55Because every case with her, you've got a team come in, it's the second armed robbery.
- 53:00She just goes, okay, uh 25 years, like whatever the maximum sentence is, she just gives.
- 53:06But you realize in that moment, like how many future robberies did that judge just prevent?
- 53:12Yeah.
- 53:13How many people will never have to see a gun in their face because of that judge's one decision?
- 53:17And it's probably dozens.
- 53:19It's probably hundreds of thousands of dollars in theft that haven't occurred.
- 53:22It's probably a potential murder or rape that hasn't happened.
- 53:24But then you have to realize, well, what is the opposite?
- 53:28You know, the Soros type judges, how many crimes are they created?
- 53:32And it it is you know, if you just took people with I think it's 10 or more arrests and they just disappeared, the crime rate gets cut in half.
- 53:40So, like it's it's an extremely concentrated problem.
- 53:44And you know, whether or not you punish them, it really has a huge effect for what the crime rate in the nation will be.
- 53:49Well, let's quickly get to Sidney Powell because I teased it earlier in the hour.
- 53:53We're almost out of time.
- 53:54So Sidney Powell was Donald Trump's attorney back in the 2020 election, post-election things.
- 54:00She was brought into that RICO case into Fulton County with Fonnie Willis, and she also was attempted to be disbarred in the state of Texas.
- 54:08Let's go back and listen to this.
- 54:10This is what she was doing in defending Donald Trump after the election in 2020.
- 54:23To do what is called backfilling into the uh machines so that they can perpetrate their fraud because President Trump won so many votes, he blew up their algorithm.
- 54:34The American people blew up the algorithm they created before the election to shave votes from Biden and give them to Trump.
- 54:41And we're now seeing direct evidence of that happening in in multiple counties and multiple states, and we know it happened across the country.
- 54:48You'd have to be a damn fool and abjectly stupid not to say what happened here.
- 54:54So it was her words that got her in trouble with everyone.
- 54:58And she wasn't alone.
- 54:59There were other attorneys, Lynn Wood would be another one.
- 55:02John Eastman, he was another one that defended Donald Trump.
- 55:05He just lost his license in the state of California last week.
- 55:09So they're still going after attorneys for just defending Donald Trump back then.
- 55:15What does that say when you can't even defend someone who thinks something bad happened to them?
- 55:21Well, the thing about being a lawyer is you're allowed to take positions you don't even believe in.
- 55:27If you are a defense attorney, um, you're gonna be defending murderers where when you see the evidence and you're defending them, you know they did it, but have to come up with an excuse for why they did it.
- 55:38Um now that's not a job I think you and I would ever do, but someone has to do it, and it's not against the rules, as long as you're being truthful to provide someone of the defense that they're owed.
- 55:47And that's what Sidney Powell and all these other people were doing.
- 55:50Now, Sydney Powell, I think really destroyed her own credibility when she was promising things like that.
- 55:56We're gonna release the Kraken and there's gonna be evidence of Maduro or Venezuela flying ballots over, like that stuff was all wacky.
- 56:00Maduro or Venezuela flying ballots over.
- 56:03Like that stuff was all wacky, but you know the ballot drops that all coincidentally only went in one direction.
- 56:05But you know that the ballot drops that all coincidentally only went in one direction.
- 56:10Yeah, that's pretty suspicious.
- 56:10Yeah, that's pretty suspicious.
- 56:12And I I don't think there's anything wrong with questioning how that happens.
- 56:12And I I don't think there's anything wrong with questioning how that happens.
- 56:15No, you should ask those questions.
- 56:15No, you should ask those questions.
- 56:17And to this day, I don't think we ever have the answers.
- 56:17And to this day, I don't think we ever have the answers.
- 56:20Hopefully, we will get them soon.
- 56:20Hopefully, we will get them soon.
- 56:22I guess we wait for the next 24 hours here, Matt, to find out what Donald Trump does, because we know that Iran probably is not going to do anything.
- 56:22I guess we wait for the next 24 hours here, Matt, to find out what Donald Trump does because we know that Iran probably is.
- 56:30And if they do something, it's just going to be pushing uh it out for another week or two, which is what they always do.
- 56:37I'm Booker Scott.
- 56:38Thank you so much for listening tonight.
- 56:40Matt, as always, thank you for coming in.
- 56:42We'll do it again next Monday night.
- 56:44Yeah, I'll see you guys later.
- 56:45And don't forget that you were told 2,000 years ago that you are the salt of the earth and salt without flavor.
- 56:50It has no value, so whatever you do, keep being salty.
- 56:54Have a great night.
- 56:55There is only one truth.
- 56:57You've been listening to The Truth Be Told with Booker Scott on America Out Loud.
