Speaker 4: stories for you. First up, President Donald Trump and the
• 0:39
Speaker 4: issue of Iran. Iran is now threatening to kill the
• 0:42
Speaker 4: President of the United States of America. So what is
• 0:45
Speaker 4: the president response and what's happening on the ground, and
• 0:48
Speaker 4: will military action actually happen at the hands of the
• 0:51
Speaker 4: President and his orders will break that all down for you.
• 0:54
  Speaker 2: In a moment.
• 0:55
Speaker 4: Also, we had a big day at the Supreme Court
• 0:58
Speaker 4: yesterday dealing with women and men and sports, especially transgenders
• 1:04
Speaker 4: trying to take over women sports. Well, now we had
• 1:07
Speaker 4: an even bigger day on Capitol Hill, but this time
• 1:10
Speaker 4: the radicals on the left sid doctors who can't even
• 1:13
Speaker 4: explain if a man can get pregnant.
• 1:17
Speaker 2: It was truly incredible.
• 1:19
Speaker 4: And we have the audio you have to hear. But
• 1:22
Speaker 4: first I want to tell you about our friends over

• 3:12
Speaker 4: make the switch today. It's a forty seven Morning Update
• 3:16
Speaker 4: and it starts right now.
• 3:18
  Speaker 2: Story number one.
• 3:19
Speaker 4: Thousands have been killed in Iran by the Iranian regime.
• 3:23
Speaker 4: We know that the President and Marco Rubio with the
• 3:27
Speaker 4: State Department have been ratching up the pressure on Randa
• 3:30
Speaker 4: stop those killings. The White House earlier today was very
• 3:34
Speaker 4: busy as the President said this from the Oval Office
• 3:38
Speaker 4: about the latest of what he's being told is happening
• 3:40
  Speaker 4: on the ground.
• 3:42
Speaker 5: We've been told that the killing in Iranda is stopping.
• 3:46
Speaker 5: It's stopped and stopping, and there's no plan for executions
• 3:51
Speaker 5: or an execution or executions.
• 3:54
Speaker 6: So I've been to ald that a good authority.
• 3:56
Speaker 4: We'll find out about it. The President wasn't done there.
• 3:59
Speaker 4: The President and is also now putting major pressure on Iran.
• 4:03
Speaker 4: Donald Trump has canceled meetings with Iranian officials, impose a
• 4:07
Speaker 4: twenty five percent tariff on countries doing business with Iran,
• 4:11
Speaker 4: and suggested that help is on its way for the protesters,
• 4:15
Speaker 4: a phrase he has used to signal potential diplomatic or
• 4:19
Speaker 4: even military operations, and the President was also asked about
• 4:23
Speaker 4: that and said clearly military options absolutely remain on the table.
• 4:29
Speaker 4: The White House also say they have not ruled out
• 4:32
Speaker 4: military action, and there have been warnings from US officials
• 4:35
Speaker 4: that very strong responses would follow if Iranian authorities carried
• 4:39
Speaker 4: out executions or continued mass killings. Trump's national security team
• 4:44
Speaker 4: has been reviewing a range We're being told to potential responses,
• 4:48
Speaker 4: including military air strikes. Now, military precautions are also part
• 4:54
  Speaker 4: of what we're.
• 4:54
Speaker 2: Talking about right now.
• 4:56
Speaker 4: Some US personnel in the Middle East have been advised
• 4:58
Speaker 4: to reloc ok I make concerns about possible retaliation if
• 5:03
Speaker 4: the US were to take action. Iran has also warned
• 5:06
Speaker 4: that it would respond to any US strikes. And then
• 5:10
Speaker 4: there's been the global reaction beyond the US. European nations
• 5:14
Speaker 4: have summoned the Iranian ambassadors, and a bipartison group of
• 5:18
Speaker 4: US lawmakers is pushing for measures such as restoring internet
• 5:22
Speaker 4: access in Iran to help the free flow of information,
• 5:25
Speaker 4: as well as for those on the ground to organize. So,
• 5:28
Speaker 4: in short, there's a lot happening in Iran, a lot
• 5:32
Speaker 4: that we don't know about because of the blackout of
• 5:34
Speaker 4: the Internet and the phones.
• 5:35
Speaker 2: But one thing is for sure.
• 5:37
Speaker 4: The President is putting maximum pressure on Iran and is
• 5:40
Speaker 4: making it clear there's a very good chance military action
• 5:43
Speaker 4: could be taken against the leadership Iran's authorities are violently suppressing.
• 5:48
Speaker 4: We also know large protests and that has already led
• 5:51
  Speaker 4: to thousands.
• 5:52
Speaker 2: Of deaths and detentions.
• 5:54
Speaker 4: President Trump and the White House not only condemning the
• 5:57
Speaker 4: crackdown but calling out the rest of the world, saying
• 6:00
Speaker 4: it is time for them to stand up to Iran
• 6:03
Speaker 4: as well. The White House also keeping diplomatic and military
• 6:06
Speaker 4: options on the table. The present clearly working the room
• 6:10
Speaker 4: in every direction he can. US policy responses remained fluid
• 6:15
Speaker 4: and under review, as the global pressure is also starting
• 6:19
Speaker 4: to mount from other countries that are finally getting on board.
• 6:23
Speaker 4: One thing's for sure. All eyes are on Iran, all
• 6:27
Speaker 4: eyes are on Tehran, and all eyes are on America
• 6:30
Speaker 4: as well. There's many reports now coming out of Iran
• 6:34
Speaker 4: that they believe more than fifteen thousand victims may have
• 6:37
Speaker 4: either been killed or abducted by the government. There's also
• 6:42
Speaker 4: clearly a united front in the US. For example, Representative
• 6:47
Speaker 4: Carlos humane As, a Republican from Florida on the Householdland
• 6:50
Speaker 4: Security Committee, said this about Congress.
• 6:53
Speaker 5: It won't be boots on the ground, but the United
• 6:57
Speaker 5: States has demonstrated to the people around the world that
• 7:00
Speaker 5: we can touch you anywhere at any time of our choosing.
• 7:03
Speaker 5: And when the President is saying that he's going to
• 7:06
Speaker 5: have their back, I would heed his words. This president,
• 7:10
Speaker 5: when he makes statements like that, usually follows up. And
• 7:14
Speaker 5: so when he's saying to the protesters, keep on protesting
• 7:17
Speaker 5: because we're going to have your back, I believe this
• 7:19
Speaker 5: president is going to have their back.
• 7:20
Speaker 4: There's one thing that is for sure. President Trump has
• 7:23
Speaker 4: the back of the people that are celebrating in the
• 7:26
Speaker 4: streets in Iran and advocating and fighting for their freedom.
• 7:30
Speaker 4: There's also another interesting part of this story. Iran has
• 7:34
Speaker 4: explicitly threatened to murder President Donald Trump. In the last
• 7:38
Speaker 4: twenty four hours, Iranian state TV aired threats against Donald Trump,
• 7:43
Speaker 4: saying this time the bullet won't miss, referring to the
• 7:47
Speaker 4: attempted assassination of President Donald Trump on the campaign trail.
• 7:51
Speaker 4: And even with that happening, it's obvious that the President
• 7:55
Speaker 4: of United States of America is making sure that this
• 7:57
Speaker 4: isn't personal, but about national secure and about protecting the
• 8:01
Speaker 4: people who are trying to get their freedom right now
• 8:05
Speaker 4: in the streets of Iran now.
• 8:06
  Speaker 3: Story number two.
• 8:07
  Speaker 2: Yesterday, in Washington, d C.
• 8:09
Speaker 4: There was a fight the Supreme Court over men in
• 8:12
Speaker 4: women's sports, boys in girls' sports, and the ACLU could
• 8:17
Speaker 4: not define what a woman even was in front of
• 8:21
Speaker 4: the Supreme Court. While on Capitol Hill there was another
• 8:24
Speaker 4: debate that will also shock you. There was a hearing
• 8:28
Speaker 4: in the Senate held under the Health, Education, Labor, and
• 8:32
Speaker 4: Pensions Committee, and it was officially focused on the safety
• 8:36
Speaker 4: and regulation of abortion pills, including concerns about the use
• 8:41
Speaker 4: of the medication mifipristone. Now, this drug has exploded after
• 8:46
Speaker 4: the fall of ro v Wade, and as liberals are
• 8:49
Speaker 4: trying to do everything they can to put abortions on
• 8:51
Speaker 4: demand through pills. Republicans on the panels argued for stricter
• 8:56
Speaker 4: oversight and regulations on how these drugs are prescribed and distributed.
• 9:01
Speaker 4: Democrats are defending the existing policies and emphasize access as
• 9:06
Speaker 4: they describe it to care or abortion on demand now.
• 9:10
Speaker 4: A moment that drew national shock and attention involved Senator
• 9:14
Speaker 4: Josh Holly, and he was questioning an OBGYN specialist, doctor
• 9:19
Speaker 4: Nishe Verma, who was testifying on behalf of physicians for
• 9:24
Speaker 4: reproductive health. The exchange centered on whether men can get pregnant,
• 9:29
Speaker 4: a question Republicans pressed to highlight what they described as
• 9:33
Speaker 4: scientific clarity around biological sex and the context of reproductive health.
• 9:39
Speaker 4: Doctor Verma declined to answer with a simple yes or no. Instead,
• 9:44
Speaker 4: there was this exchange, I want you to listen to
• 9:47
Speaker 4: exactly what the Trump administration is up against and why
• 9:51
Speaker 4: it's so important. We have leaders like Sener Holly and
• 9:55
Speaker 4: others who are willing to ask simple questions, but demand
• 9:59
Speaker 4: answer from the quote leaders of the radical left, including doctors.
• 10:05
Speaker 6: Thank you, mister chairman.
• 10:06
Speaker 7: Since you bring it up, why don't we to start there,
• 10:08
Speaker 7: Doctor Verma, I wasn't sure I understood your answer to
• 10:10
Speaker 7: Senator Moody a moment ago, do you think that men
• 10:12
  Speaker 7: can get pregnant?
• 10:13
Speaker 8: I hesitated there because I wasn't sure where the conversation
• 10:16
Speaker 8: was going or what the goal was. I mean, I
• 10:19
Speaker 8: do take care of patients with different identities. I take
• 10:21
Speaker 8: care of many women. I take care of people with
• 10:23
Speaker 8: different identities, and so that's where I paused. I think
• 10:28
Speaker 8: I wasn't sure where you were going with that.
• 10:30
Speaker 6: Well, the goal is is the truth? So can men
• 10:32
  Speaker 6: get pregnant?
• 10:33
  Speaker 9: Again?
• 10:33
Speaker 8: The reason I paused there is I'm not really sure
• 10:36
Speaker 8: what the goal of the question.
• 10:37
Speaker 6: Goal is is to establish a biological reality.
• 10:39
Speaker 7: You just said a moment ago that science and evidence
• 10:42
Speaker 7: should control, not politics.
• 10:44
Speaker 6: So let's just test that proposition. Can men get pregnant?
• 10:47
Speaker 9: I take care of people with many identities.
• 10:49
Speaker 6: But can men get pregnant?
• 10:51
Speaker 8: Many we women that can get pregnant. I do take
• 10:53
Speaker 8: care of people that don't identify as women.
• 10:56
Speaker 6: Can can men get pregnant?
• 10:58
Speaker 9: Again, as I'm saying, let me let me just.
• 11:01
Speaker 7: Remind you you testified to a moment ago. Science and
• 11:03
Speaker 7: evidence should control, not politics. So should can men get pregnant?
• 11:08
Speaker 8: You're a doctor at day, Science and evidence should guide medicine.
• 11:12
Speaker 7: I do science that evidence tell us that men can
• 11:14
Speaker 7: get pregnant, biological men, can they get pregnant?
• 11:17
Speaker 8: I also think yes, no questions like this are a
• 11:19
  Speaker 8: political tool, and.
• 11:20
Speaker 6: No, yes, no questions are about the truth. Doctor.
• 11:22
Speaker 7: Let's not make a mockery of this proceeding. This is
• 11:25
Speaker 7: about science and evidence. And I'm asking you. You know,
• 11:27
Speaker 7: the United States Supreme Court just heard arguments yesterday at
• 11:30
Speaker 7: great length on this question. This is not a hypothetical question.
• 11:34
Speaker 7: This is not theoretical that affects real people in their
• 11:37
Speaker 7: real lives. And you're here as an expert, called by
• 11:40
Speaker 7: the other side as an expert, and you've been telling
• 11:43
Speaker 7: us that you that you follow right, You're a doctor,
• 11:46
Speaker 7: and you follow the science and the evidence. So I
• 11:48
Speaker 7: just want to know, based on the science, can men
• 11:51
Speaker 7: get pregnant? If that's a yes or no question, it
• 11:53
  Speaker 7: really is.
• 11:54
Speaker 8: I think I think you're trying to reduce the complexity.
• 11:57
  Speaker 9: Of a low I'm not.
• 11:58
Speaker 7: I'm trying to get it's not complex. I'm trying to
• 12:00
Speaker 7: get to an answer, and I'm trying to test, frankly,
• 12:03
Speaker 7: your veracity as a medical professional and as a scientist.
• 12:07
Speaker 6: Can men get pregnant?
• 12:08
Speaker 9: I think you're also conflating this extraordinary.
• 12:11
Speaker 7: No, I'm not conflating male and female. There're two different things.
• 12:15
Speaker 7: There's biological men and there's biological women. And I want
• 12:19
Speaker 7: to know can men get pregnant?
• 12:20
Speaker 9: What you were talking about is biology.
• 12:23
Speaker 7: You're not going to answer my question iological males. This
• 12:26
Speaker 7: isn't hard doctor. Can men get pregnant?
• 12:30
  Speaker 6: Yes? Or no?
• 12:32
Speaker 9: I would be more.
• 12:33
Speaker 8: Than happy to have a conversation with you that is
• 12:36
Speaker 8: not coming from a place of trying to be polarized
• 12:39
  Speaker 8: and pushing.
• 12:40
Speaker 6: I'm not trying to be polarizing. I'm trying to ask.
• 12:43
Speaker 7: I think it is extraordinary that we are here in
• 12:46
Speaker 7: hearing about science and about women. And for the record,
• 12:50
Speaker 7: it's women who get pregnant, not men. We are here
• 12:53
Speaker 7: about the safety of women and science that shows that
• 12:58
Speaker 7: this abortion drug causes adverse health events in eleven percent
• 13:04
Speaker 7: of cases. That's twenty two times greater than the FDA label.
• 13:08
Speaker 7: Another fact you haven't acknowledged, and yet you won't even
• 13:10
Speaker 7: acknowledge the basic reality that biological men don't get pregnant.
• 13:15
Speaker 7: There's a difference between biological men and biological women. I
• 13:18
Speaker 7: just I don't know how we can take you seriously
• 13:21
Speaker 7: and your claims to be a person of science, if
• 13:24
Speaker 7: you won't level with this on this basic issue.
• 13:27
Speaker 6: I thought we were past all of this. Frankly, I
• 13:29
Speaker 6: can't believe we're still here talking about this.
• 13:32
Speaker 8: I am a person of science, and I'm also someone
• 13:35
Speaker 8: here who's here to represent the complex experiences of my patients.
• 13:39
Speaker 8: And I don't think polarized languages, language, or questions serve
• 13:44
  Speaker 8: that goal.
• 13:44
Speaker 9: I don't think they serve the American.
• 13:46
Speaker 7: It is not polarizing to say that there is a
• 13:49
Speaker 7: scientific difference between men and women. And I want this
• 13:51
Speaker 7: to be clear and for the record, it is not
• 13:53
Speaker 7: polarizing to say that women are a biological reality and
• 13:57
Speaker 7: should be treated and protected as such. If that is
• 14:00
Speaker 7: not polarizing, that is truth. It is also, by the way,
• 14:03
Speaker 7: the United States Constitution, which offers unique protections to women
• 14:07
Speaker 7: and a variety of circumstances as women, and your refusal
• 14:11
Speaker 7: to recognize women as women and men as men is
• 14:14
Speaker 7: deeply corrosive to science, to public trust, and yes to
• 14:19
Speaker 7: constitutional protections for women as women. And I think it's
• 14:23
Speaker 7: extraordinary that you would sit here in advance a political
• 14:26
Speaker 7: agenda that has been thoroughly discredited and rejected by the
• 14:29
Speaker 7: American people in this forum. And I'm glad we had
• 14:33
Speaker 7: this exchange because it is exceptionally clarifying.
• 14:35
Speaker 6: It is also in many ways quite depressing.
• 14:38
Speaker 4: It is truly amazing the doctors like Miss Verma decline
• 14:42
Speaker 4: or just simply can't answer if a man can get pregnant.
• 14:46
Speaker 4: It is sad that we're having to spend the time
• 14:49
Speaker 4: in Congress to answer the question about the biological reality
• 14:53
Speaker 4: about men not being able to get pregnant and clarity
• 14:56
Speaker 4: on a record. This also goes back to concerns about
• 14:59
Speaker 4: the safe of women and abortion drugs for women who
• 15:03
Speaker 4: are the only sex that can biologically become pregnant. The
• 15:07
Speaker 4: good news is now conservatives and this White House are
• 15:10
Speaker 4: on the offensive to make sure that these radicals are
• 15:13
Speaker 4: held accountable for what they've been teaching and preaching and
• 15:18
Speaker 4: the abuse that they've been doing to so many through
• 15:21
Speaker 4: the idea that they are somehow administering medicine and reality
• 15:25
Speaker 4: is they're just pushing a radical agenda.
