A Chaos Odyssey – Ep. 9 – Fight for the Thunderhawk · WarHams - Narrative Declaration

• i want that thunderhawk i'm just a small baby man up against 60 guardsmen and five metahumans could you please be a good boy and wait why did you phrase it like that my penis is short my brain is large oh my god godspeed we're gonna shrink your brain and grow your cock bro just you wait godspeed with slenish's gas station pills i'm going to turn you into krillin we can't keep starting the show with a red screen do you think krillin's packed well i guess he's probably packing he got it i of course he backed up he's definitely fine we'll start with the red screen you yeah i like how i like how as soon as i say krillin's back and so on it's like well this is obviously the intro uh easy put the fan art scroller like chroma key the red and put the fan art scroller there instead that's the start of the podcast like we don't do a professional intro anymore easy when you're editing this episode and you get to this part i want you to dm me and tell me if you think krillin's back thanks yeah anyway uh future future thirsty uh future thirsty will get a random ass message at like two in the morning who's ready everyone to play another exciting episode of warhams a chaos odyssey violence so great to see everyone today of the actual intro thing we'll see if the previous stuff survives or not um so very good to hear everybody i'm also good to see every uh viewers and listeners lovely we can't even see you actually or do we that's up to you for you to decide uh lower the blinds please you're looking great today you always look great every day every time yeah we love you we are we we know exactly what you look like right now and you look great yeah amazing you look so nice today did you we know all he's like how your ears doing i love them i want them give me your ear i want them i want them so beautiful really like diablo one didn't you you just collected a lot of people's i'm so hungry welcome back everybody we're on for another exciting episode of chaos honestly i believe last time we were going for amazing adventures i think we skipped away just to make sure uh i can remember everything in which now i'm worried because it's slipping out of my mind right now and i'm fuck we told stories we told our stories oh yes that's right uh we entered inside the basically old castle basically this old fort pretty much surrounded and encompassed by prison the mirror various mirrors don't worry i'll get in there prisms and mirrors prisms and mirrors god and so after leading after the crew has basically gone through a pathway they met basically the usher the usher who withheld various mirrors and basically had all of us tell him a story and had our lovely guardsmen decide which one was the best this is but of course we were there for information we needed to find out where our bastard has gone and we recently found that he's somewhere on the planet after getting our information and surviving the hall of mirrors and the usher itself and seeing potential horrors from him we we were able to leave head into our slider find out that it ain't going up in the atmosphere because the window is busted and we have been scouting the planet trying to find where our nemesis is our target that we are after i think i had everything right did i miss anything oh you did you did we you missed where you ended where you saw a group of astartes and their thunder hawk uh camped by the edge of the planet and we were able to leave head into the office the the last traffic i would like to create is a consensus on getting on our path to؟ back into that channel of the air force what? fire? to date fair enough so this has been your thunder hawk we'll see you with one of the next scene trims well fair enough we'll killing it this is the land edge of where we'd be if anything so let's uh see how this is going to end out he is a Gold Cavalier Wonder Woman hawk it is at the end of the session ramirez take that thunder hawk but of course we all look at our viewports or just open the back and just tank that uh and we when we see this thunder hawk there and i guess lyfos at this point uh to try to get us into it i'm sorry for taking the reins here uh we'll motion uh by xanthi and cephas over and kind of point down towards like wait do you detect anything already do you see any guards anything posted to protect their craft i have many secrets i love is the most perfect this is the best bit it's the best let me let me do my perception i guess one second if we get time i want to make a t-shirt oh absolutely i have many secrets yes i gotta design that awareness awareness thank you all right challenging thursday yeah i'll give it challenging sure we'll see you next time we'll let the gods decide oh 15 that's actually pretty good because that'll give me three degrees of success yeah yeah there are a grand total of what appears to be five astartes uh on on the ground um four of them clutching bolters and one of them with a massive heavy flamer they are in dark oh good i was gonna say can you clarify because you say astartes and i want to make sure are they regular astartes or are they oh no no no no they are quite chaotic astartes in fact you can see them they are in the notable orange of the endless conflagration uh renegade warband which you saw when you were on the uh alpha legion space station yeah and we took a retinue of their guardsmen uh it wasn't there i recall correct but not someone some no i thought they were part of the kindling they were the ones who you remember as having the the um the troopers they referred to as the kindling which you also see 60 of oh my god oh oh with a wide array of mostly shoddy autoguns and what you can also see are a couple of your flamers i'm so excited i've been waiting for a big firefight for a good while what do you have what's the spell i can finally use my grenade launcher me and lucid tricks can both use our grenade launchers yeah we get the point we get to play i have an important question so last session i succeeded on my perception right and i saw them about how far away are they um gosh they're probably a good distance away like maybe 200 meters um okay uh my next question is there any terrain nearby that perhaps we could leverage to our advantage if we were to engage a much stronger foe like maybe rocks to have a height advantage or anything yeah there's like there's rocks around you can see down below by the edge of this large uh like open wound precipice there's like rock formations there's also parts of the ground that appear to be bursting open with flame as you you look down like vents that provide some temporary visual cover we are going to have to make sure this is a decent operation gentlemen i want that thunder hawk brother i believe we all want the thunder hawk so we shall claim it excellent what say you we approach from the flank from above uh looking at it thurston could i give you a because i'm presuming i can see more or less as well since i succeeded on my awareness would you allow me to do a a scrutin no not a scrutiny because that would require a untrained attempt hmm thinking there's common law war i could do common law war but would that would that work in a very very very very very very very here because that's lore not necessarily tactics unless that is tactics according to thurston what exactly are you looking to discover i guess is the question looking to discover a potential approach to their position that is not quite so monitored so that we may spring our much lesser volume ambush on them they've landed in a fairly open area um so you know for a fact that you're gonna have to fight them probably like in a relative and i mean this um relative close uh close proximity so sort of giving an idea of how close you um get a little bit of extra space um i think you'd probably need to get within about 50 meters before before like there'd be about a good 50 meters of open terrain or relatively open terrain i see so there would be they landed in a very open area which would be exposed from say long distance fire but from where they are they've landed in such a way that they have really good tactical advantage where their position which seems to um to be kind of like a holding pattern near the edge if you do have some kind of um appropriate skill for oh gosh any kind of like military tactics or whatnot this would be a good time i was just going to say because you say 50 meters however my grenade launcher has a range of 60. yeah absolutely so i'm just saying like you'd have to get within 50 and that's where like you're almost certain a firefight would erupt or you know four astartes and their buddy would get noticed so because my grenade launcher is indirect could i theoretically arc it out of sight or is there literally nothing i can hide behind um no there's there's rocks and stuff all around like i say but even within those 50 meters those 50 meters there's terrain it's just you'd have to the distance between them and everything makes it difficult like you're not going to be able to get right up next to them there's not enough terrain to do that effectively but you'll you'll have cover in this place oh i'm not asking to get i am myself i'm not asking you to get close i'm asking so i can spring an attack from yeah i'm not going to melee them with my grenades i'm just i'm i'm trying to inquire if there's a position you I can use my grenades at all in a way that does not involve me taking the brunt of the fire unless that is what people are wanting because i am very tough no absolutely you can i think it's just a matter of how you all sort of want to approach it together okay so let's shift over to let's shift over to this this might help out a bit should give you a bit of like rough projects and stuff like that but i'm not going to be able to do that because i'm not going to be able to do that because i'm not going to be able to do that because i'm not going to be able to do that because there's cover basically all around this isn't really indicative of what we've got but gives you a little little idea it's very useful oh can i uh can i get a little token for my shitty minion please uh you have you just put her like right behind me or something can we just draw you a circle yeah smiley face here's a circle here's lucitrix small and worthless oh lucitrix so easily forgotten there she was square that's not the lucitrix cube i'm i'm folding her into a rectangle i love lucitrix yeah leave her yeah leave nothing with a fucking body bag who turned lucitrix into a rectangle again i was trying to turn her into a marketable plushie forgive me my first looks at beth i'll you have to use your words i'm praying lifos did you turn my attendant into a marketable plushie yes you could buy it now at near to declaration.com what are you talking about a lucitrix plushie would you say a lucitrix plushie would go hard i don't think it would i want diseases in my home literally dozens of people would buy it literally there's dozens of us i'll just direct thurston where i want her to go and he will move the square the the line all right so tricks and so this helps how long how far is this exactly assuming i'm looking at the right purse yeah that's 50 meters well my grenade is 60. yeah we're yeah just under 50 meters well my grenade is 60 yeah we're yeah just under 50 meters and just for viewers and stuff this is just a tent map thing just to kind of give us a reference of range and stuff uh obviously if thurston wants to be like hey uh that's not here he'll just we're just going to draw stuff this is as pen and paper on a grid map as we're getting here it's not going to be pretty that's perfectly fine so all right do you guys want to move yourselves since i'm more or less happy from where i'm at yeah i am going to get into a good position with a lot of cover um probably between these two rocks here um i'm going to go uh in fact uh i'll go somewhere with a vantage point even i'm going to go prone and which one of these guys has the heavy flavor the big space marines the one in the middle this guy okay one in the middle the guy who's redder than the rest i'm going to be spending like multiple turns just aiming at his fuel canister and that'll be that'll be my plan i'm going to start the ambush by trying to rupture that other books all right um i'll be honest i'm not exactly a subtle man so bethiel is going to be uh preparing for this initial volley and is going to use that as a cover to charge in closer yeah you might want to wait until we actually open up and they pick their targets first and then yeah beth i am a plan i would like to propose to you does it involve me getting doom bolted no it involves you becoming the bolt the metal that we shall fire as you see as he kind of like pokes his head over the rock and kind of like invites Beth out of the door to kind of see. His little head peeks out. Yeah, like he'll kind of motion. Thurston, obviously with our landing and stuff, do we imagine that they would have saw us coming down or have we gone a distance and then approached? Scared. You're in church. Cool. I look upon them and I'm going, we'll go with the assumption that we know we're here. All right, Beth, I yell. Now, as far as we could tell, for we were able to observe up high, some of them may have things that spout flame. We don't want that. That hurts us. It hurts us, precious. You shall be the missile that shall prevent it. For when they come into charging range, you are the preemptive missile that shall ravage, rush towards them, and stop them from burning us all to a crisp. Yes. The one with the flamer is going to be my priority. Good. Do you have a ranged weapon? Oh. Fiddling around. I have a shotgun. I don't really use it much. He hands you his bolt gun. Ugh. If I must. If I must. Well, he hands you his bolter and he goes, like, Use this. At least spray towards them to make them fear. Maybe you'll get lucky. But when they get closer, then you can annihilate them, Beth, I yell. If I must. We just simply don't want you to be in the deployment zone and then try to go and get their home objective and have them range you to death. We just want to prevent that. Yeah, the things that happen whenever you play, fucking Korn, you get shot at that before you can make your charge. And it's really, it's really sad. Let me add a bolter to my, uh, it's, yeah, just a regular ass, regular bolter. Yeah. Just, uh, you can add Legion bolter, uh, to your legion bolter. Yeah, it is. Yeah. It'll be a legion bolter. I think that's specifies for space ring ones. And, uh, go ahead. He'll hand you his ammo. And so I'm like, here you go. Bolter. Uh. Kind of turns it over in his hand, scrunches his nose up a little bit. If I must. He'll, he'll nod and he will stand behind a rock, letting everyone else go forward. Uh, if Genny is going to position himself in the rocks as well, how high, how much cover do these rocks provide? Are they just enough to stand on? I mean, so the way cover works is if basically you cover a part of your body with it, you can cover a good chunk of your body with it. Uh, but anything you attack with obviously becomes visible. Um, so like arms, your torso, that kind of stuff. Um, but otherwise they just kind of act as, um, extra armor. If you're hitting those locations. Gotcha. I suppose it's the wrong question to ask that how tall are these rocks? Can they see me if I'm behind them or poking through a crack? Um, you could like crouch behind them and stay obscured, which I assume is what you've been doing now. Oh yeah. Cause I'm, I'm just a small baby man up against 60 guardsmen and four, I'm sorry, five metahumans. Genny, you're worth a hundred guardsmen at least. That is not true, objectively. Don't flatter him. And... Thank you? I think, uh, what prompted that comment, Beth Hiel? No, you're, you're more than just a little baby man. Anyway. Oh, I, I know I've lived for like 60 years. We should resume our deployment. Yep. There's kind of a bunch of people we need to zero at the moment. Oh, if Genny's gonna move up to these rocks, see if I can see through them and start taking some pot shots at the mob. Cause if anybody... Nobody's likely to get shot in the head. It's probably the mooks and the fodder. I have a line of sight. Like, sort of looks like it's a crack in the rock. I can sort of see through that. Yeah. Again, you can position yourself. It's just that if you position yourself, what you're, what you're doing is essentially saying, okay, like your chest, arms and head are open for example. So like you can protect your legs with it, but that's what cover does. Yeah. Okay. I'm pretty sure I am in the system. Gotcha. Yeah. Now if I'm going to enter stealth as well, would that not further obscure me? If I'm recalling the rules of Black Crusade as far as stealth, if they can't actually see me? Yes. However, if you fire, then you're visible. Gotcha. So it's kind of nice for lining up a shot, undetect yeah and either way if I line up that shot it's going to expose me to the entirety of the mob I'm probably up I imagine because of my own stats I'll probably end up at the top of the initiative regardless we're pretty close to it uh if possible I would love to just enter stealth and then overwatch and just wait to take a shot at the mob after my four teammates go yeah I mean you can just hold an action yeah absolutely alright Evgeny is going to nook himself right into this crag in front of the party pull his chameleon lean cloak a little bit more tightly around himself try and mesh in with this horrible nightmare world and breathe in deep there are a lot of people out there what say you let them see you first rather than me and not get my head blown off immediately I should be able to mop up some of the kindling and not be able to do much but probably more penetration on them than ceramite I should be able to mop up some of the kindling and not be able to do much but probably more penetration on them than ceramite I should be able to mop up some of the kindling and not be able to do much but probably more penetration on them than ceramite uh Cephas will stride not in not so that he's visible to them to the enemy but he's going to stride up to him Evgeny both my attendant and I are here to ensure that they focus on us stay behind us and we will come fair enough fair enough the intent is to create an opening you will be all right remember I lay my life down on you remember I lay my life down on you as was discussed yes but your life matters just as much as my own even if you don't think it's worth much I was instructed I'm also listening to what you had to say however I go first and she will stride forward with Cephas to take up positions more visibly than uh Evgeny so that when the time comes uh we will hopefully be the three of us so that when the time comes uh we will hopefully be the three of us for the thing they target so he'll stand shoulder to shoulder with by Zante maybe or like just in the rough area could you also move the the Lucitrix cube just oh yeah maybe uh maybe there if you could please thank you Lucitrix over there I have a genius idea yeah I don't have to expose much of myself but these are pretty seasoned combat battle people I don't have to expose much of myself but these are pretty seasoned combat battles I don't have to expose much of myself but these are pretty seasoned combat battles so I guess I'll have to take on the challenge now combat veterans, to some extent. Surely they'd recognize the glint of a sniper. They'll have a hard time seeing that through all the grenades, I think. Well, probably. But I'm just thinking for a second, yeah, sure, you're gonna mop up and beat the tank as your Nurgle blasts, you don't really have to worry about that. But if they're distracted even for a second, they turn their attention towards firing at the glint of a scope that I'm just holding out with one hand, trying to catch the light, not really doing anything. If they're distracted even for a fraction of a second, that's all the difference it makes to the Astartes, because you guys move quick, you think faster than mortal people. If I can create that opening, even if they're gonna still move on to attacking you, that's an extra volley you can get off and mop up some mooks caught unawares. Well, the goal is for them to not shoot it. I have the toughest I can take it. He's making a diversion. Exactly. It's just a diversion for a moment, because I'll go back to stealth immediately after, I'm still basically hidden. I'm just holding it up, barely, hanging around the rock with one arm. Let him prove his usefulness. Go on, Yevgeny, do your thing. I think it's smart. He's right. Even the moment. Makes the difference. There isn't this entire conversation. They've already, like, run up to us. Thurston's been moving their positions around their formations. They've got reinforcements. The heavy flamer guy is just waiting patiently behind the rock. Oh, why did Thurston volley stealth tokens on the Warhammer? He's playing, uh, he's playing, uh, solitaire. Trade offer. I give you, uh, flamer volley. You give me dead. Three defilers just march out of the fucking Thunderhawk. Fuck! And there's children defilers, too. I think that's where there's children defilers. Oh, no, bro. That doesn't seem right. Uh, that's why I think we're all good in our positions that we're happy with. I'm happy with you beginning doing, like, some opening volleys. Also, uh, you, Arendelle, you can make your own drawing dot yourself and move it yourself. So you don't have to rely on Thurston to do all that for you. Uh, I just need to figure out how, uh, top left, there's a pencil icon. If you don't see it, uh, just use the measurement controls and make a square template and just use that, make it easier on Thurston. Um, I, I plan on it. I just need to figure out how, oh, no, it's okay. This is me just stating it. No problem. Um, so that, I think we are, uh, this is already, I think, I think in the role to see if they gonna kill us or not. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. I've rolled my initiative. That's a lot of 10s. The rest of you can roll your initiative now. Aw, jeez. You got it. Aw, they rolled kinda high. Ah, ah, shit. Oh, but so did I, baby! Let's go! Aw, shit. Aw, jeez. Hey, I did too! Hey! Mmm. You can right-click- Sorry, give me one moment. Yeah, you're good. You guys need to find your thing again, top right, uh, right-click the sword icon. Yeah, you got it. There's your kitty! there he is 15 baby let's go to make it quick for podcast listeners hang on I gotta I gotta roll for her too one sec continue that as you roll for her I'll just get everyone's stuff to save some time Evgeny got a 15 top of the order good job Evgeny clap for the guardsman he's gonna need it one of the other enemy marines got a 14 Bethael got a 14 Byzantine got a 13 another enemy marine got a 12 Lyophos got an 11 some of the militia got an 11 another marine got a 9 another marine got an 8 the Cephas got an 8 another marine got a 7 Kinling got a 4 and Lucitric got a 2 she is going last so that is the order podcast listeners Thurston I am ready for us to go to get blasted alright it's a surprise round Evgeny you go first give yourself a plus 30 on any of your checks absolutely what I'd like to do Evgeny at the rock face instead of sticking out and trying to get a bead on the mob he's gonna hold out his las rifle with his one arm and just angle it around as if it's pointing through the rock face and trying to catch the light and make it a 10 and make the glint of a scope moving it specifically to not be stealthy in that regard to draw attention to where he is okay ideally they're gonna shoot at the scope they might shoot the gun but if that comes to that then you know he's fucked anyway all right can you check what I need to do for that uh none you can just do it it's pretty obvious yeah you stick it up and just kind of wave it around like that can you just kind of wave it around they see it with his thumb I'm not like trying to shoot at them but can I make an attempted shot just by pulling the trigger with his thumb yeah it's gonna go wide but I'm gonna comment shoot uh just a standard okay I'm gonna go with that I'm gonna go with that it is a plus 30 I'll uh I'll target the mob just in case okay uh that's why not it's plus 30 come on please oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god no like i'm angling it so it's pointed in their direction i'm not just sticking it up in the air and shooting it yeah but you're doing it in a way that you're covered like all of you right roughly yeah okay so you don't have visibility on them so the way you've described how this is happening it sounds like you're just drawing their attention to all of us i think that's the plan yeah yeah so it doesn't go to him and he doesn't get up yeah he's doing the hunter's distraction shot i'm gonna see i'm gonna see how that shakes out because i don't know now now that it's being described it's beth iel's go hey we're in it now baby let's go we're in it now all right um i'm double checking my movement uh thurston um how close would you say the nearest line is to the hunter's distraction shot yeah i'm gonna see how that shakes out because i don't know like next bit of cover is i'm i'm do i'm doing the tabletop thing in which i am weaving between spots of cover to get closer to make my charge um i'd say this little area right here this kind of broken terrain piece here okay so that would be my closest bit of cover yeah i'd say you could get some on some of these little rocks here but it might require you to go prone ah and uh i'm not going prone not today not unless i uh fail an earthquake test again um so let's see um i can hit 21 meters on a run but so let's see how far can it go and still shoot i can go eight and still shoot so i'm gonna go eight and still shoot so i'm gonna go eight and still shoot i'm gonna i'm gonna scoot out just a bit we'll see if i regret that so i'll do my movement and then i'm going to raise up a shot honestly more trying to get his attention than anything uh i'm gonna raise up an arm and just fire a shot at the flamer guy and a bolter is a hundred meters so i think i'm well within range yeah so i will make a little shot here uh and i will give you one degree of success i'm not much of a crack shot but uh i'll give you just a little bit of damage there you go that's uh 17 pen 4. terrible sorry but you had short range toggled yeah it's short range yeah because it's uh it's in a under half range oh okay i'm sorry it's a bolter my bet it's a bolter yeah uh yeah it's gonna hit him in the left leg for five points all right as you see um a blast goes hits through the ceramite hits him in the left leg yeah just firing off a shot and then- And then in the other hand, just gunning the chainsword and give it a big toothy grin. And that's going to be my go. And hopefully that gets them off of Yevgeny a bit. End of my turn. All right, Byzantium, you are up. All right. My first plan was to try and ping this guy's heavy flamer. But then I realized that probably if Bethael wants to actually make it there, he's going to need a little bit more support. So instead, what I'm going to do is I have been aiming. I am in a higher position and this is an ambush. So that's plus 60. I'm going to target the first blob of guardsmen. And I'm going to use my action, full action, suppressing fire. So I will establish a kill zone, which is a general area. Basically, a 45 degree angle from where I'm facing, which in this case should be what? You can. Well, what you can do is you can use the cone. Oh, yeah. Let's use the cone. That's better than you could do. Oh, my God. Yeah, that's that looks about right. And I'm going to go ahead and I'm going to make. A full auto attack. And everyone within the kill zone must make a difficulty minus 10 pinning test or become pinned. Actually, since it's a full auto, it's difficulty minus 20. So let me go ahead and make that roll for you. All right. So let's get to the sonic blaster. I'll be getting plus 60 for this is going to be suppressing fire, full auto attack, normal range. I'm not going to I'm just going to call it a trivial. OK, the character does not roll to hit following the usual penalties or bonuses of the full auto and semi auto actions. Instead, the character makes a ballistic skill test with a minus 20 penalty to see if his gunfire hits anything. That's fine by me. That's fine by me. That's fine by me. That's fine by me. That's fine by me. That's fine by me. That's fine by me. That's fine by me. That's fine by me. That's fine by me. That's fine by me. That's fine by me. That's fine by me. That's fine by me. That's the second paragraph of suppressing fire. You made a critical warhammer player mistake. I did. I only read the first. I only read the first. You only read the part you wanted. All right. So ballistic skill test minus 20. If you succeed, you hit a random target within the kill zone that I assign. OK. Yeah. So this is suppressing fire. I used a full action aim on last turn and I should be. getting plus 10 because I'm at a slightly higher screen to be heard that is going to be a 25 on the die for 5 degrees of success very nice sick guitar solo cutting you off in the middle of it you are going to catch one guy from the back the top mob one guy from the middle mob and then you are going to hit this marine here near the front so you can give me a damage roll excellent excellent okay so that's number one zealous hatred zealous hatred let's go alright that is going to be 0 damage but I did get a critical to the head yes so he is blinded for one round and takes 2 damage in this wail of fire you can see the marine's helmet is hit though it doesn't seem to do any damage it definitely causes him to I've created the opening the rest is on you and that will be my turn oh also everybody needs to make minus 20 or any check yes so one more sorry I'm just double checking something because I forget if full auto actually affects your range one sec um yeah I'll do that minus 20 right yes 0 yeah let's see I'll just one last time two more Vancouver and a little bit healthy all right I don't want to play for me at all there this and that is my top mob will fail the top mob will fail Well done, Slaaneshi. Well, just wait till I'm… Just wait till I'm finished! Listen closely if you can! Is that the end of your turn? That is the end of my turn, because that is a full action. Yeah, it's gonna bring us over to Lifos. Uh, is it the marine guy's turn? I think he got blinded. Nope, because they are… you're in a surprise round. Oh, I'm sorry. I'm stupid. I'm just looking at the initiative triggers, focused on that. I'm… my bad. I'm dumb. Uh, so, Lifos is gonna basically see all the shootings going away, and he's gonna be like, uh, actually, I have to do range, actually, because for… I'm messing it up. Hey. Hey, guys. I have something embarrassing to ask. What is it? Yeah? I know I'm the founder guy, usually, you know, messing with it. Uh-huh. I forgot the keybind thing to do measurements on the fly. What's the keybind thing to do measurements on the fly? I have never… Act shift? I have never pressed that. There's a keybind? Oh. And what else? I do it manually. Shift click? Oh, it looks like it's control click? I'm doing shift click. Or right click? It's control click. Oh. Oh, it's control click. My control click doesn't do it. I guess you're gonna have to do it manually. Well, you'll have to die, then. You're gonna have to do it manually, hotkey boy. Well, Doombolt's like a ray, so the ray template kind of comes in handy. Oh, wait, someone's in the front of me. Yeah, you might have to move it. Please do not electrocute Cephas. Please don't kill UTV. I'll be okay. It's Spazanti who might not. Lightbulb will not step over you, he will float over you, because he, you know, he's better than you. And so he gets you from above him, literally. Yeah. Better than the Nurglite, of course. He psychically floats forward. Thurston, do you want me to psychic roll for that? Psychically go forward? You want to peril so bad? I mean, I'll allow it. I know you want to go forward. I know you want to go forward. How do you allow it? I just want to know if you want it. I mean, exactly how do you want to, like, what's your outcome here? I'm just, I'm just thematically doing a little float over him so I can position myself in a half, one half action to move up, and then my other half action, I'm just going to be trying to Doombolt people if people are in range. Yeah, that's fine. Okay. I'll just kind of go. No need for a check on that. Okay. I just kind of over you, Gini, and extend out a terrifying, magical hand for the greatest sorcerer this battle has ever known. And let's see. Oh, yeah, they are in range. But could I get that guy? I can! Because, wait, wait, wait. No! No, Thurston is, wait, wait, wait, wait. No, bro. No. Come on. Thurston has strategically put them where I can't get these two marines in a line. God. Fuck. That's what he was spending, that's what he was doing all that time preparing this for. He said, how do I very specifically make it to where Zoran can't do this? Shit. And he's right. Social distancing. Well, you know, I can at least get one guy, like, from the, from the template, I can kind of see, I see the one marine further into the back. Basically, Doom Bolt for range is basically 20 meters high psi rating. I have three psi rating. So 20 times three, 60. Um, I feel like if I get my math right, one, two, three, four, five. Yeah, I get it. Okay. I'm sorry. I'm at the public. I'm stupid. Um, so basically going to line up a shot that way and cast Doom Bolt as the line basically streaks across, uh, some of the militia and going towards the marine itself. So. I shall begin casting and I have the thing wizard I'm doing my I'll go unfettered. So there's a chance again. Oh, okay. Don't do doubles. Don't do doubles. Okay. Okay. Just barely. I have the plus 10 because of, uh, four staff and stuff like that. So just, just made it, uh, so couldn't roll the damage. Only one degree of success because we're about 83 total of 83. Only get a little bit of beaming, but the penetration's eight. Uh, so with that first day now, uh, I will, uh, that is the damage so far. And your target was the Marine, correct? Yes. The target was the Marine. Anything else in the way is, uh, collateral damage. Well, I'm just double checking. This is Doom Bolt, right? Yes, sir. Uh, page. No, I, I know the page. I'm just double checking to make sure if it was, uh, the barrage, which is okay. Okay. Yeah. Perfect. All right. So it is going to hit the Marine. So, and it does no damage. Dang it. I scared him though. You did. You did. But you can tell that, uh, as you, you hit him in the body, his armor absorbs the blood. Dang it. Well, that's the end of my turn. That's all I could do. All right. That's going to bring us to Cephas. It was a warning shot. All right. Uh, let me, let me, let me get some distances here real quick. So I'm here. I need to get some distance. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I need to, I need to zoom in. I need to zoom in. So this is 40 meters. I can help you out. This is, I got it. I got it. I got it. Uh, that's 35. So they're all in range of me roughly, which is fine, but I can only target one thing. So I'm going to target the big pile of enemies, uh, the squadron of kindling directly ahead of us, because I have an explosive weapon that does blast. Okay. So I will do the most damage against them. And so I'm going to take, I'm going to toke a shot at them using my grenade launcher, which has a range of 60 and they are numbered. I should have my reloading my, uh, I'm, I'm not reloading in combat. I would have done this outside of combat. I just didn't have it done. Uh, grenades. So, uh, this is not point blank. What is this range? Hang on. What was that again? That was 35. Am I targeting the forward most unit or the center of a master's? Where are you putting the template? That's a good question. Uh, how big is this blast again? It's blast. So as they know, it's, yeah. So if it's a blast weapon, what will happen is you will put down the token. The issue is, is that you will not kill everyone underneath it. Cause that would be ridiculous. Instead, you will kill a number equal to the hit plus the number in the, in the blast is how many, but you need to position it because that also determines, remember where your cloud goes. Correct. Uh, in this situation, because this is a blast six blight grenade, I'm going to target this goober and dead center. Hopefully. Okay. Uh, this is 45. So it is more than half, which means it's, uh, it's just a shot. Yeah. Standard normal shot. I'm going to aim as well. A half action aim. Sorry. I'm just double checking, triple checking everything. Cause there's quite a few rules that we haven't done this in for. Second or two. I think this is about right. Yep. Standard shot, normal range, half action, challenging. Let's see what happens. Rolling. Good luck. Uh, that is a 62 for one degree of success. Okay. One sec here. Uh huh. Okay, you love it. Uh, there's suddenly gas that fills the entire area and three of the kindling go down. So I don't roll for damage on that? Nope. It's a horde. So you're going to. Oh yeah, that's right. Like essentially kill them. So you just kill guys from the horde. You got it. So three of them die and there is a template there of kind of like smoky fog, which will make attacking slightly harder if you're shooting through it. Mm-hmm. Uh, that is everything I have on me. All right. Which means it's Lucid Tricks to go. You're getting again. No, it's Lucid Tricks. She has to go now. Oh yeah, Lucid Tricks, yeah. Yeah. She's not on the board. Yeah, she's not on the board. Yeah, she's not on the board. Yeah, she's not on the board. Yeah, she's not on the board. Yeah, she's not on the board. Yeah, she's not on the board. It's all right. Uh, and I think to best spread out damage, I'm going to have her target the horde to the north, assuming that is that should still be the right. She's only like a little bit further south of me. Yeah, that's 35 meters away. That's fine. Uh, I am dead guy. Okay. Uh, no, the I mean, it's it's the same thing no matter what. I'll just go another again. Okay, cool. Right. Right there. I got the right one targeted. Uh, so this is going to be a standard shot again. She is going to aim and fire. So it's basically the same role, but it's plus 20 to her ballistic. So she has a target of 40 because her ballistic skill is 20. She's getting two bonuses. I believe that's correct. You may tell me if I'm incorrect, but I believe that is a number. Let me roll my 1d100 because she does not have a character sheet. Oh, that's beans. That's a 55, so that'll be scatter. All right. Now let's see by how much and what that does. Yes. Let me pull up scatter time. Uh, so straight. Uh, you're going to roll me. Um, okay. Oh, I need. I don't even have you roll it. I roll it. That's cool. All right. I could have. I could have loaded the digital dice, as you know. You could have. It's fine. We could have. Okay. It goes to the one which will actually go back this way. It will move. Let's see. It is going to move just a bit. It's still going to hit, so it's going to go one, two, one, two to there, right up. Okay. Okay. It still hits them all anyway. Yeah. Again, it's only going to kill three. But the big thing is the cloud. Yep. All right. All right. Grenades have been lobbed. I end my turn. Now it's Evgeny's turn. It is Evgeny's turn. Uh. Thirstano. This is not my action. I'm going to hold my action. Because clearly, this is not my action. I'm going to hold my action. The sniper glint is going to do nothing with everything else going on as well. But the gods seek glory, and so do I. So I'm gonna aim from cover at the mob again, and this time I'm actually going to shoot them. Okay. Uh, so you won't get the plus 30 this time, because they're aware of you. No. Makes sense. I'll also take another minus 10 penalty because of the gas. Gas. Ah. Gotcha. The gas. The gas. I'll just apply the long range penalty to it. Oh, no. There we go. No range. Boom. No range. Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom. Andwith this, I'm going to overload and attempt to do any damage at all. Otherwise. Man, by Xanti, I really hate godsmen who don't hit their shots to you. Oh, yes. They're the least favorite kind of godman outside of dead godsman. Yeah, I would just murder one if I saw one missed their shots. Oh, I understand exactly. Yeah. Burning hatred would build inside of me. Oh, yeah. Like I said, the eights favor me. Sixty-eight. Yeah! Nothing's happening. So, your shot goes wild. No. I'm sorry. Oh. This is what happens when you play with Space Marines. Yeah. Gonna get you a fuckin' rocket launcher. There could be literally any gun. You'd like to ask Lucidrix for her grenade launcher. No. That is true. I believe in Evgeny. What the fuck? What is she gonna do in this encounter? She will smile at you very sweetly while you use her gun. Hey, Evgeny, is that your round? Uh-oh. That's a big cone. Evgeny, that's your go? I think so. I think that's all I can do. Oh. Uh... Cool. I could... Yeah, I can't move. I think I can. Uh... If you didn't aim, you can. I did not aim, so I will take that opportunity to reposition back here. I might be able to shoot another mob. Yeah, move the template over, Thurston. I saw you tactically moving, so I'm just adjusting to see what I can do. He's pre-measuring! He's pre-measuring! He's pre-measuring! Hulky... Not pre-measuring. Hulky, open this. Uh... No, it's gonna be... Okay. Uh, well, Evgeny, I'll allow you to step aside, and instead I'm going to do, um, a tactic that has never led me astray, which is... Speaker D does a fucking debilitating move, so I'm just gonna do the same debilitating move on you, and I'm gonna have the other space brain suppress you with his bolter. That makes sense. Like... Stop that! I cast Nuh-uh. Yeah, Nuh-uh. I counterspell your bolter. Yeah, I'm just... Just saying. Just saying. So he's gonna full action to suppressing fire. Um... He's gonna make a ballistic skill test at a minus 20. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Anyway, Evgeny does his딱 he doesn't have to hit with this, but he'll do it. Hmm. Wee! Woo! Okay! Well, that's good! Fail. Okay, he's gonna miss. That's... That's okay. That's not what he was doin' it for. cow join in with fun Nope! I know, I know. Now I need... Now I need everyone who's not Evgeny to give me a, um... Hard will-power test. Hard. Will-power. Yeah, I'll make it hard. Now, Thurston, I'm going to point this out now, because you have laid the template down. It doesn't cover Lucitrix, so I don't have to for her. Correct. Okay. I wanted to make sure you weren't about to hit me with a particle beam. I was so close. Failure from Byzantium. Cool. Hard. Let's go. Oh, Bethael failed. That's the one I cared about. Excellent. What the hell? I got a nine. Amazing. Oh, my God. Nurgle is with you. Nurgle is with you. Good. The two people I cared about pitting got pitted. I'll call you, just for podcast listeners, I'll call your name and just say what you got. Just to reaffirm for Cephas, I know you just said it, but just in case, real quick. Got a nine for two degrees of success. Bethael got a... I got a 26 for one degree of failure. Lifeo's got a 13 for five degrees of success. Byzantium got a... 82 for seven degrees of failure. Didn't go so well for me. So, Byzantium and Bethael, you're now pinned. And that stops us from moving, and what else? What other bad man things does it do? It does a few bad things. So, first of all, you can only take half actions on your turn. Very good. Shit. You suffer a minus 20 penalty to all ballistic skill tests. Of course. If you are in cover relative to the attacker, you cannot leave it except to retreat. If you are not in cover, you must move to cover. Fuck. And you can then make a challenging willpower test at the end of your turn to escape pinning. Well... So, the First Marine, seeing what's going on, opens up with his bolter, essentially, like, firing a hail of shots over Bethael and then northwards to the rock face where all of you are locked in. Lucitrix and Evgeny are far enough behind not to be under immediate threat, but the rest of you are somewhat pinned down. Well, specifically, Byzantium and then Bethael in the open. That was the Marine. That's going to bring us to pinned Bethael. Okay. Brother, I am pinned here. That's from the game. That's from the game. Oh, my God. It's from the game. Oh, my God. Um... So... Well, okay. My nearest cover is here and here. I... Okay. So, one sec. Um... I will point out something that is important. Okay. Um... Just double checking. Bethael, there is another option available to you. Is there? Is there? There... There is another very specific option available to you. There is a state you can enter that makes you immune to fear pinning and stunning effects. It... I... It is. I would be immune, but isn't, uh... Isn't frenzying a full action? Or is it just a full turn? Oh, that... Uh... One sec. The... Uh... Let me double check. Because I don't... You have to spend the turn frenzying. Oh, yeah. Then you're fucked. Oh, yeah. Then you're fucked. Then you're fucked. Then you're fucked. Then you're fucked. Then you're fucked. Then you're fucked. Then you're fucked. Then you're fucked. Then you're fucked. You... You fucking... Let's see. I'm sorry. Again, you're screwed. Oh! You're screwed. Yeah. I tried... I tried to give it to you, but... You... You tried to help me. And I... I... Hashtag my rules. Mmm. Alright. Um... So, Thurston, my closest cover would be here. Or here. And I could only take half action, so... Can I still half move? Or can I not move at all? Let me double check. No, it's your half action. You have to move. towards the closest piece of cover. So I have to go backwards? You're running to the rock. Is it like an image where we see you coming down the hill like and then they start turning back up. Yeah, exactly. Shit, fuck, god damn it. Shit, fuck. Back so soon. Yeah. Like, is there any way for me to move up at all to still, how close do I have to be to this little area right here? It's not going to work. You're going to have to go back to the rocks you came from. Fuck! Alright. I told you to wait for him to come to us. If you want some help, if you want some help, if you want some help. Here you go. This gets you about there. Yep. Alright. Well, uh. So Bethael rushes out. Bethael comes back as like hails of bolt fire. Uh, smack into the walls. And he's just shit. Um, and is that all I can do? I can only take my half action? Um. Or is it you can only take half actions? Like, I could still just fire a shot. I believe that is like your entire existence this turn. Wait a second. One sec. What's up? Hold on. If this guy pinned us, everyone on their sky failed their pinning check, right? Yeah, everyone up at the top area here, yeah. And this guy was in the radius, right? Not that guy, I don't think. One sec, because we did the template the other way. One sec. So you want to be... You get a 50. So you had to have been... Okay. Because you kind of went like this and got all these guys. Because that was the way your template was, right? Yeah. You were aiming at the flamer, weren't you? No, it was more down. I believe it also clipped... I believe the only guy it didn't clip was this guy. It might have also not clipped this guy. But I think I did get this guy. Okay, because you can't... Moving the template around. You can't get both of the... The top and the bottom guy. So... Sorry. Okay, so... Then this guy down here would be pinned but then the other guy wouldn't and I'll just have him do the same thing on his turn unless he can do something before. Let me... I mean, however it is is fine. Just so long as we got... I just... Don't worry about it. I thought that I got... him, but I might not have. If everyone over here in this area is pinned, except for the guy in the back and this guy, that's still worth it. I would have gone for whoever could pin the most amount of people. Yeah, which was the upper... That was the... The template was laid down like that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No worries. No big. No big. I will... So I go ahead and remake that willpower? Yes. Challenging. So plus... Plus zero. Plus ten. Oh, plus zero. Alright. I'm gonna go ahead and use one of my infamy to make that a plus ten. I would really like to not get pinned again. Oh my god. Ah! What did you roll? My target was a fifty. And I rolled a fifty one. I'm frenzied. I'm seeing in real life. Alright, well, uh, brother, I'm still pinned here. That's the end of my turn. Byzantium, you are also pinned. I sure am. And, uh, seeing my situation, it's minus ten or minus twenty on all checks. Minus twenty? In that case, we're gonna keep it easy. All ballistic skill checks. Yeah, we're gonna keep it easy breezy beautiful cover, girl. Um, this guy in the middle was the guy that I blinded, right? Uh, this guy right here. Kind of between the two. No, it was the top guy. Okay. Uh, in that case, I'm going to just, uh, nothing fancy. Ah, the tail of Boltefire! And I'm just going to go ahead and make a standard attack. Before you do that, Lifo's like to put a hand on your shoulder and go, I can help you. Just wait. Then do it! Just wait for me. Will you please do that, Slaaneshi? Could you please be a good boy and wait just a little bit? Why did you phrase it like that? Because he loves it that way. Hell yeah! I love it when you're firm. Yeah, sure. I'll, um, I'll delay. Yeah, I wanted to propose the delay action, because I have Inspire, which could just get rid of your pinning. Oh, yeah, yeah. No, yeah. I'll delay. I'll delay. Just to make sure we can just make sure we know what delay fully does in case I'm leading you astray, because I don't want to take your turn and your actions and stuff away from you. Delay, half action, instead of acting immediately, the character waits for an opportunity. When the character chooses delay, his turn ends. Welcome back, Erindel. His turn ends, but you're fine. Don't worry. I got you. His turn ends, but he reserves a delayed half action for later use. Anytime before the start of his next turn, the character can perform a delayed half action of his choice. If the delayed half action is not used before the start of the character's next turn, he's lost. If two or more characters both attempt to perform a delayed half action at the same time, they must make a deposed daily test to see who acts first. So are you good with that? Do you want to plan a thing out first? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Absolutely. Go for it. What do you want to do first? Because you're delaying. I'm delaying. I'm letting you take the reins. Okay. Oh, sorry. I thought... I'm thinking pathfinder. My bad. You have to determine your thing in that. I'm sorry. Yeah, no. I only have a half action, so I will spend my half action to delay, which will come to the end of my turn, and I believe... Or does it... Do I make the check now, then? Or would I wait until my delay comes up? Point of order. Um... One sec. Uh... It is also a half action, so if you want to do something and then half action it. No, I can't, because I'm pinned. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm sorry. One sec, one sec, one sec. I actually think that there's a... There might be an errata for this. One sec. Thurston gets the rules. Oh, yeah. Thurston gets the rules. Maybe to destroy our plans. No, there's a weird thing in there, but I think... Okay, so the worst part about this is you only get a half action, because you're pinned. Yeah. So, you use your half action to delay, but that uses the half action you get. So, pinning doesn't... Delaying doesn't actually do anything, because it uses your one action. Oh, so I can't wait. I have to just go now. Yeah, that was... That was what it is, because I was trying to see if that worked that way, but the problem is that delay takes a half action, and you only get a half action. Yeah, I guess the wording of his turn ends, but he reserves a delayed half action for later use. I guess reserve would be the key word. You can't reserve it if you don't have it. Yeah, sorry. Yeah, no worries. In that case, what occurred previously was Lithos' hallucination of what he wanted to happen, and actually happened is by saying, he says, I hate it when he's firm! And, uh, I'm gonna go ahead, um, alright, so it's gonna be a, uh, challenging test. I have plus ten for my, uh, superior vantage. Um, that's going to basically reduce my penalties down to where I think I get minus twenty, plus ten, plus ten, plus ten from short range, uh, and I'm just gonna fire at the Astartes that I already stunned. Okay. Uh, that is actually going to hit! It's gonna shock! Um, for two degrees of success, let's see the damage. That's gonna be a ten on the damage die. Zealous Hatred! Um, I believe I get to reroll my Zealous Hatred. Since I only got a one on that, right? I am a Chosen. Um, if you have a thing, then yes. I believe I have a thing. Uh, it's from being a super special Chosen boy. Um, look, in character creation, Chosen, Cold Killer, Masters of Conflict, uh, when a Chosen inflicts Zealous Hatred on an opponent, he may choose to reroll the crit result. The second result stays. Okay, so I get to reroll the crit result. Uh, yes, so here. What I'll do is let me do this. Okay, now it's gonna be on the right leg. Roll a 1d5. You got it. Uh, I'll roll a 1d5. 4! Okay, and that's energy on the right leg, so that is going to be... to be a solid blow since, um, Currents of Agony. He suffers one level of fatigue and reduces his movement by half for 1d10 rounds and is numb. Uh, that's acceptable to me. I'm happy with him being prone. That basically takes him out. Can't even make a bolter shot for, uh, this next turn. Alright, that's my turn, and I get to make a challenging willpower test, right? Uh, yes. Okay. Ha ha ha ha ha! 97, nah. Nah, nah, nah. Okay, I'm still 10. A 97? We need this fire removed! Byzantium face down in the dirt after being suppressed. I know many secrets! That's it, that's the line. Excuse my hiccups. Alright, that's it for you, Byzantium. That's it for me? Uh, the marine will go. He cannot move, so he'll get up. That poor brain. He's prone, he's blinded. He'll then make a willpower test, just a challenging willpower test. Oh, um, one sec, actually. Yeah, I'll make a challenging willpower test because we shot at him. He'll succeed, so he's not pinned anymore, but he's still blinded until the end of his turn, and he can't do anything else, so that is his go. He stands up. There, that's his round. Uh, Lifos, you are now up. Extending forth his hands and letting his cloak flow, like, basically flow in the hot as fuck winds. Because everything is on fire. I would like to cast Inspire and try to help my friends here stop being pinned. Uh, so basically it is three meters TIE Psy rating radius. Uh, so pretty much three times three. Uh, so I have to determine who is within... Oh, yeah. People are going to be all within all within range, but of course it's going to be, just to make sure I have everything right here, Sucker Bolster's Resolve, a number of allies within range equal to the Psy, Psyker Psy rating plus the Psyker himself, so me, and then, uh, basically three other people, uh, I'm going to have to take care of. Uh, have to determine who that's going to be. Is Cephas pinned? No, I think he succeeded, right? It's only Bethael and Byzantium. Okay. Alright, excellent. Uh, so I'm going to basically target them then. Yeah, you basically are fine because I think, because Evgeny was out of range, Lucitrix was out of range, and I succeeded, so yeah, it's just, uh, I'm going to target those two. Okay, cool. I'm going to target those two then, and I shall do myself a bit of a rolling uh, to basically do so, and I shall risk it for the biscuit by going unfettered. Please don't do doubles. Okay, good. Twenty-seven. Really did it really well. Uh, so basically I, uh, to pretty much explain for what it does, the Psyker Bolster's Resolve, the number of allies, da-da-da-da, uh, they may immediately overcome the effects of pinning, and you'll gain a plus ten bonus to all willpower tests to resist the effects of fear, if that ever gets applied or whatever for this current time. So for all of you who are currently pinned, you are no more! Yay! Yay! Thank you, Blyphos! Yay! Congratulations! Uh, so that's what he's going to do for that, and for his uh, other action, or his other half action, he's going to, uh, do a polygamy. I was actually going through all the, uh, actions to see if I can do everything, correct, here. I was trying to read through the rulebook, I'm sorry. I'm sorry, I was trying to be, I was trying to be good. Not allowed. Not allowed. Get him, get him, get him, get him, get him. That's fucked up. Get his ass. Uh, is there anything I can do to assist anybody? Is everyone good? Uh, I'm good now. Yeah. Okay. More or less. Unless you can teleport me directly on top of Heavy Flamer Guy. Let me see what I got. I just... He's not a, he's not a weird boy, unfortunately. We've tried that before. Yeah, exactly. Just to make sure I'm not, um, I'm not cheating here. I can't shoot with my plasma pistol, correct, Thurston? During this time? Uh, so what was inspired? Is it a half action? Uh, yes, sir. Okay, um, so... Standard attack is a half action. Excellent. I would like to basically point at the one, like, the guy who's already blinded, I think we just, you know, just try to put him out of his misery. He's not blind anymore, so... Well, let's fix that. I shoot him. Okay. I'm going to... Uh, I can't overcharge. Uh, so basically, I'm just gonna shooteth at him and just go pachoo! Plasma shot! Oh, damn! That's an 11! Uh... Okay, damn! That is five degrees. That's success. I hit him on the right arm. Rolling damage. One D... Checking in on stuff here. For some reason, it's one D10. That shouldn't be that. Uh, so basically, minus two from this, basically, which we can... Uh, you can do GM edit to edit the damage down to two more. Um... A total of 15 with a penetration of eight. Because for some reason, it did one D10, not one D8 for some weird reason. So, I'll fix that later. Um, wait. No, everything's a D10. Right? Is it for plasma pistols? For... For damage? I'll double check. Anyway, you can go and go and have a... No, no, no. There's no D8s in this game. Oh, oh, it's... I'm stupid. The pin is eight. It's not ten. I keep getting that with you, so I'm sorry. Yeah, so basically 15. My bad. Okay. Alright, it takes seven more points of damage. Yay! That's the end of my turn. It's not looking great. It's not looking great, but he's... Still up! It didn't turn. It didn't want to go. There we go. Alright. Oops, not that. Um, alright. So the kindling here... Ugh. This is cool. They move there. And then one of them dies to the... To the gas. Uh, then at the end of their... Their turn, they make a willpower test. They are still pinned. As you see them coughing and coming out of the gas cloud, one of them collapsing as they move. Alright. They're collapsing as they move! Oh no! Marine with the large uh... heavy flamer. He can't reach us from there, can he? Nope. But he'll run ahead straight 30 meters. I roll to be scared. He's a lot closer. Oh, sorry. He can't run full 30 meters. My bad. He can't do any of that because he has to... He's pinned. And so he has to... back here. Make a willpower test. Which he succeeds. So... He'll be better next turn. Damn. You rolled a nine! Damn! Now this one up here... ... Move... back into covering these rocks. Um... And then we'll make a willpower test as well. ... He also rolls a 3-star. He also rolls a 9. Damn! Jesus Christ. He too will be happy. Um... Who did you pay? This is a willful bunch! Sevis, you're a... ... Lucidrix, let's deny them some sight, shall we? And I will again aim towards that direction, but instead I will target our good friend, Flamermarine. Oh, excuse me. No, that's just a regular conflict. Conflagration. That's okay. I'm going to stop them from seeing all the same. I'm going to find them. I'm going to stop them from seeing all the same. I'm going to fire another grenade at them. I'm going to fire another grenade at them. I'm going to fire another grenade at them. I'm giving them cover, technically. I'm giving them cover, technically. But the cover is killing them. But the cover is killing them. Uh, this is still normal, because he's 35. Going to half-action aim. Going to half-action aim. Ooh, 94. Ooh, 94. That may not be horrible, That may not be horrible, depending on how we do this. So it's you roll again. Okay, one sec. Yep. So that was from your grenade launcher. Mine, yes. Is it like a super good quality one? Mine is, yes. I got a... Let me double-check that, just to be sure. But I did get a higher quality. Where was the location you were dropping it? I was targeting the front-most conflagration marine. That would be that fellow. Oh, yes. This guy. So, one sec. Tools. Tools. Tools. Tools. Tools. Tools. Tools. Tools. Tools. Tools. Uh, okay. Uh, okay. Uh, okay. Uh, okay. That's gonna go right up to there. Another cloud. Now, this is technically hitting the horde as well as him. Well, yes, but... So what will happen is roll 2d10 for me. Alrighty. It's gonna kill one of the horde. Well, yeah, technically three of them. That'll be a nine. Okay, it'll kill three of the horde, killing them, but it will not touch the marine. Okay, but he is still in the cloud of noxious bad stink garbage. Absolutely. Alright, I end my turn then, because that's all I got. Okay, it's going to give us the long-distance marine. Stink clouds. Find handicrafts from the crops of one vile poop feast in the garden. No. Find poop and crops. You won't find shittier. That's one of Nurgle's favors. The clouds give a very, very, very defined gun range, so they're going to aim at Bethael. Bethael? What if I didn't? Or Precious Bully? Well, you don't gotta do all that. Sorry. Tarnation? Hitting me and hitting me and hitting me. Yeah, they're going to hit you. Normal range. Oh, first, we didn't roll to see how long the clouds last. Oh, yeah, give me one sec. We'll get to that. And then they are going to reach. And they're going to fire you. Bethael? Well, don't do that. They will do that. They do. A bolt comes hurtling towards you, striking you, Bethael, in your right leg. Fuck your legs. Um, and it will... Ow! Yeah. It will smash into you for five points of damage. So, reduce. Yeah, it's already done that. Perfect. As you are smacked in your leg, as you turn around after being re-inspired, a bolt round hits you in the ceramite of your right grave. Alright. Erndell, roll me 1d10 for the first one up here. Okay, so that'll be the first one. And we get a stink cloud that lasts one turn. So it's gone. Next one here. That's really funny, because that means that they just got, they got out of one cloud and into another. And then a new one. Yep. All right. And this one down here, last five. Nice. Okay. Um, what I'm going to do. I think this actually works, right? Yeah, I'm going to use the plus five meters on it just to represent how long they have left. And then the one down here. Mm-hmm. All right. And the last one also lasts five, five turns. Okay. Um, So this one will actually be at four now, because we're going to pass. Okay. They are still in the stinky. Mm-hmm. All right. Well, it is going to be their go and they are going to. There it is. There it is. This way. And then they will lose a guy. And then they will make a willpower save. Which they will fail, so they will also still be pinned. Being pinned in a cloud of poison. Because they are coughing and hacking. Yep. All right, Evgeny, you're up. No, Lucitrix. Oh, yes. Thank you. Furtive cube Lucitrix easily forgot him. The Furtive Blast Template. The Furtive Blast Template. The Furtive Blast Template, Lucitrix, so easily forgotten. She is from her position, seeing Bethael struggling to make any moves, and she will speak past the rock to him. Cornet Lord, would you like me to cover by blocking their sight? Do whatever you must. Launcher, aye! And she will target the Chaos Marine to the side. And she will target the Chaos Marine to the side. And she will target the Chaos Marine to the side. And she will target the Chaos Marine to the south, and fire her grenade launcher at him. And she will target the Chaos Marine to the south, and fire her grenade launcher at him. And she will target the Chaos Marine to the south, and fire her grenade launcher at him. And she will target the Chaos Marine to the south, and fire her grenade launcher at him. And she will target the Chaos Marine to the south, and fire her grenade launcher at him. And she will target the Chaos Marine to the south, and fire her grenade launcher at him. going half-action aim and standard, so target is still 40. Let's see what happens. Ooh, she makes that with a 29. That's one or two degrees. Sorry, just double-checking. One sec. This is you shooting it this way, correct? Yep, further south. Yep, further southward. Will you make that with a... One sec. If that launcher has 60 meters. No, but with another minus 10, will you hit that? And the only reason I ask is because you're shooting... That would be 39 to 40. Okay, then yeah, you're good. So it still hits. And now I roll the 2d10, right? Yep. 2d10. 2d10. Ouch, that's a pretty good one. That's 15 damage on target. Okay. That does not go through the armor. Damn. These things aren't meant for... Yeah, exactly. They aren't meant for going through armor, they're meant for toxic murder. Okay. I have provided an opening, Lord. Go for it. Thank you. Thank you. Oh, and, uh... Last three turns. Last three turns. Yes. Alright. Alright. Alright, now it's a good start. He's getting down here. Oh, boy. Are you ready? Are you ready to see some fucking blessed dice rolls? I believe! Yeah, blessed here. And he brought weed. Yeah. Yeah! Yeah! Get blessed in here! Oh. Oh, well. Do they get cover for being in a stink cloud? I mean, yes, but... I did leave you a very nice, uh... A corridor. A very nice gnat guy to shoot at. That's true! Wow, thank you! Yeah, Thurston, I'm gonna... Oh, god. Please, everybody send him your energy. I like how your turn was like, Oh, wow, thank you, it's not what I fucking wanted! God! Well, Miss Dill, someone's gotta kill the horde. You know, Ur-Dill, you've got a fair point there, but do you know what doesn't have a point? Fucking flashlights! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Would you like to borrow her grenade launcher? No, it's stinky. Yeah, yeah, it's stinky, get away. Girl touched it, no good. Yeah, I got crudies. What's the matter? Grenade launcher good, grenade... I don't want no stinking grenade launcher, I don't want no pickle launcher. Pickle? Pickle? You got one that ain't been handled by a lady? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! It is in this encounter we learn that Evgeny is not a prejudiced man, he's just, he just thinks girls are weird, that's it. He's just a principled one. He's just principled, he's a gentleman! He's so right. He won't take a defenseless lady cultist grenade launcher. Lucy! You're either making Tumblr really mad or really happy right now. Ha ha ha ha ha ha! It can be both at the same time. I don't care what they draw Evgeny doing as long as it's not completely evil out of character. There is so much shipping, and I am so here for it. It's beautiful. I imagine you doing the fetch fence. Talk shit! I don't care. Lucy, where's the boom tube? Your Lord, would you like it? Yes! Oh wait, you don't understand. No, I don't. space marine your brother on me would you how does this work by the way will you allow goopy lucy to toss me the boomstick before my turn occurs not if you know because i've used my actions yeah because you used your action otherwise i could infinitely trade weapons and that's stupid that's yeah it works you know i'm not saying it's balanced but you could move next to her and she can give it to you on her next turn oh can i rip it out of her hands and still fire i will allow you to do that if thurston allows thurston let me do that rip it out you know what sure if we want to establish a a a system where i can trade off weapons by grabbing them sure i don't i don't want to establish the system remember anything we can do he can do with more guys i can have five space braids with the last cannon in the line because then on uh her turn she could just go up to you and give you the thing so you can just do your thing now yeah yeah go ahead and shoot i'll have her give you her gun in a in a moment i i do want i so desperately want to establish precedent that we can finally one up after years of memeing memeing about this we can finally one up the present the peasant railgun to the space marine macro cannon yeah they just keep passing the same 30 35 guardsmen move a single exterminata shell and it's enough for it to destroy something i love it all right uh i'm gonna shoot my poor rifle at this lonest artık oh i'm gonna i'm fucking aim i'm gonna try and shoot no remember your minus 10 because he's in the cloud no the one who's out here in the very middle oh oh sorry sorry this one sorry the targeting the the you have two marines targeted that's that's part of the process oh right yeah how did you do that okay that's my bad I had to look at that one initially. That's my bad. Gee, Gunny, how can you get to target two space marines? Oh, I actually think Speaker has the same color as you. That's also adding to this. Oh, okay. Oh, there we go. Pink boys. Pickle. It's all about being pink. It's all about being pink. Wait, that's a chainsaw. I can't throw that that far. I'm going to be your bubblegum, bitch. I understood that. We're going to fire this semi-auto to attempt to do literally fucking anything to this guy. Oh my God. I believe in you so hard. I'm going to full action. So no aiming. God, please. I'm going to jam. God save him. It hits. It hits. You can't get to reference, though. You said you were semi-autoing or you full-autoing? Oh, wait, hold on. You said semi. You didn't say semi. Oh, fuck. You're right. I did. I probably wouldn't hit. It was a. No, no, no, no. Full auto attack type. No, you do. You do. But, but, but full auto is a full action. Or sorry, it's still a half action. My bad, but you can't aim and I don't think you can aim. Let me check here. No, because that wouldn't. It would be the cost additional. I think you were right on that one. Yeah. So when you fire a semi-auto burst. Okay. Same with full auto. If you go and you read semi-auto. Read the second paragraph, which says the attacker makes a ballistic scale with a plus. Zero bonus. Yes. So there's no modifiers to this. It's a plus zero. If you hit, you score a hit. To the target. So you don't get that plus 20 aim bonus. Oh, okay. No, you were a plus 20, though. Oh, because I had full action aim. But it's a half action to shoot. That's yeah, that's a great question, then. Huh? Sorry, I'm so used to doing nothing in combat. If you click the symbol by aim, it'll turn it off. Yeah, it's okay. Okay, so that's okay. So minus 10. Minus 10 would make that a what is the other minus 10 from? Are you wounded? No, I shouldn't be. Is it fatigue? I don't. Are you left on? Maybe. Yeah, you have fatigue one of three on. Oh, see, there we go. Oh, yeah. Did we ever get that lifted? From the palace? Yeah, here we go. Okay, see, there we go. Okay, that will hit. Okay, so the hit is correct. So you will hit him on his head. Click the damage button. Now the exciting part was watch for zero. He will take zero points of damage as you pick him. And that's the last. I. Kill the brass hound. Yeah, yeah, I think I'll target it once I was getting shot instead. In fact, in fact, it's probably it's probably even worse on this one. So, yeah, you pick him in the head. His head slowly turns towards where your shot came from. Oh, shit. Damn. Even on a pen to the overcharge that sucks space Marines. I mean, it's only 11. And you can kind of. Recognize they have about 16 armor and toughness bonus combined before you get to hurting them. Yeah. Well, it was nice while it lasted. It's only a minus 10 to shoot into the cloud, by the way, if you wanted to. I mean, this guy allows cannon. The little men. I. Well, I've got this poor guy who's in the cloud over. Here. Um. He's going to exit the cloud. This Nurgle gas is coming in clutch. They got to move. He's got to move up. He's still got his bolter. Fired a bunch, but he's still got ammo left. But it can only do a half action because he moved out. Yeah, he's just going to take a standard shot at Beth. I know. Everybody fucked up. Yeah, he's just going to take a standard shot at Beth. I know. Everybody fucked up. Yeah, he's just going to take a standard shot at Beth. I know. Everybody fucking shooting me. It's true. It's exactly because I'm out of cover. Is it because it's a tactically sound decision? Fuck you. Yeah. Your Stardy's Bolter will hit you, Beth Isle. This time in the body. So that's not bad. That's not bad. I can probably tank that. Yeah, you can tank it. I believe you. You'll take four points of damage as a bolt hits you in the chest. Ow. Ow. Ow. Is that good? As this Marine walks out, aiming, firing, you're struck. Beth Isle, it's your go. Ah, shit. I'm tired of this. Um, seeing that I am being shot at and that I am not a ranged combatant, I'm full action running. I'm doing the corn thing. I'm advancing. Okay. Uh, and I'm going to get to, uh, I got a 21-inch run, so I can get to, like, here. And would you consider that behind the cover? Yep. All right. And the cloud is interfering. Don't pre-measure at me. No, that's me. I'm making sure that his shot goes through the cloud. Oh, okay. I do not see it. Okay. Okay. I'm just going to head down, gritting his teeth, gunning the chainsword. Uh, he's hurting a little bit, but, um, you know, there are nails in my brain, so what could go wrong? Uh, I think that's all I can do. That's the spirit. Okay. Uh, although they will take now a minus 20 penalty to hit me because I ran. To shoot you, yes. Absolutely. Or yeah, unless they want to charge me. Unless they get into melee with you. Which I would love for them to charge me. Awesome. Bye, Xanthi. You are up. Alrighty, then. I'm no longer pinned, right? That went the way of the dodo with the inspire roll, right? Yeah. Yes. Okay. In that case, I'm going to go ahead, half-action aim, and then, uh, taking a look at this, uh, bastard from earlier, right? The guy I've been, uh, showing my loving, tender mercies. I'm just going to whisper into my breath, oh no, my pretty, you don't get away that easy. And I am going to full auto. Um, uh, full auto, uh, which will give me a minus 10. I did do a half-action aim, and I am, uh, at an elevated position, so I will be getting a plus 10 to the roll. You'll also take another minus 10 because of the gas. And, never mind, everything is hell, everything is bad, everything is sad and scary. But, I'm going to hit him. Watch. That's an 11! Yeah! Very nice. Oh, that's what they say. Woo! It's an 11 for 8 degrees of success and 4 hits. So let's roll Dimage, shall we? Yeah. That's pretty good damage, I have to say. That's some good damage. Alright, so we're going to go down the list. 9, 6, 10, 7. I'll replace the 6 with an 8. And I will roll Zealous Hatred for a plus 3 to the critical damage. Nice. And I don't, how much damage am I actually getting through to him? Let's see. I'm going to apply. Well, you're going to kill him. Because it will be 4 to the right arm, 2 to the right arm, 3 to the body, then 7 that goes through on the chest, plus another 3 more on the chest, which is, after all of that, it's going to take him to a horrific explosion of energy damage. That's one thing we'll need to fix in here, is that any of the as-above results don't really make sense, so we'll have to adjust that. Okay, the target is completely encased in fire, melting in his skin, popping like eggs, and he falls to the ground, except there's a 50% chance that his ammo explodes. That would actually be quite nice for us. Low is bad. So that explodes. Oh! The guardsmen have to make an evasion test, which is just a... So they're going to fail, and then they, then one of them... One of them is going to get splattered by... One of the mob is going to get splattered as this marine essentially explodes, his ammo detonating, and bolt shells flying out and... Excellent job, Slaaneshi. Oh, we're just getting started. But I will admit, that was titillating. And that's the end of my episode. See you next time. And that's the end of my turn. Wifo's turn, Sea of Guinea. That's what you're supposed to be doing. I have a flashlight. What the fuck do you want me to do? Shoot the weaker ones. I can't. They're covered in poop. I mean, that's more reason to shoot them. Now, now, don't bully our dearest little peach. He's doing his best, I'm certain. Look, I'll teach you how to do it. You can't do it. You can't do it. You can't do it. You can't do it. You can't do it. You can't do it. You can't do it. You can't do it. You can't do it. You can't do it. You can't do it. Dearest little peach, he's doing his best, I'm certain. Look, I'll teach you how to do it. Wifo's points a hand and casts Doom Bolt. Fits in everything, basically in a line, pretty much targeting the marine in the northernmost poop cloud. And it's just doing a line. Oh, this one's dead. Sorry, sorry. That guy's dead. Oh, I'm sorry. Yeah, yeah, yeah, sorry. He doesn't take him out properly. I'll just delete him. All right. Don't worry about the flamer. um yep because i i need beginning to have a couple shots at the other guys uh so i'm gonna game at that guy and basically just just doom bolt the hell out of them and i need this to hit really really really hard so i'm sorry everyone i have to go out just this one oh no i push fully so i'm gonna phenomena and i'm gonna push these just this once he says yeah like just this one which is every time 15 for 10 degrees of success uh so let me roll the phenomena uh just because i think it's happening because my oh yeah aura of taint it's uh so or obtain all animals within 1d 100 meters become spooked or agitated characters with science science can pinpoint the sector as the cost so i just i'm also stinky um yeah yeah with place only plus 10 for post 15 so okay yeah it did that fine um so now i shall roll oh no you can replace it you can replace it i can re-roll it i can re-roll it or yeah oh no you can replace it you can replace it i can re-roll it with the 10. there you go ah good good i don't think it's going to be oh no i went through 16 total with eight pin take six damage yippee is he like see i hit him if gahee just kind of holds up his hands at lifus just like he's looking at him with a like yeah like a look that carries like yeah you're a fucking wizard dude I'm 60 years old and have no children I'm going to die your skull is your head you don't even have a body or skin it's a half action for me to do doom balls and it's a half action do a standard attack and I still shoot with the plasma pistol just make sure I get that right I think so I want to make sure we're not cheating here we might be but that's probably some weird like extra rule I don't know you know just to be safe because I don't want to take advantage of the situation I'm just not gonna do it no no no I'd say you can do it I think you're good yeah I'll I'll go through the stuff just to double check after the shot then but I shall oh one sec no I see how it is aha thank you most of them are half actions however if you go to page 208 the first thing you do is a focus power action which is in itself an action looks like yeah okay so before you actually use the power you do the focus power action it looks like is what it's saying here amount of time this action takes us the term of the power being used it may be a free half or full action or reaction yeah so I think that's fine unless what this means is that it like you do this that's no I think it's just a half action I think you're good to do something else as well yeah because otherwise if some of power says have actual or full action I can't even do the full action one well yeah yeah which would be like going to the next round or something yeah so yeah so yeah so I'll just do a little pew pew with the pliers of the pistol I'll get the bug and when it's not my turn uh so pretty much same guy shooting at him that is a miss yeah long range for that uh I rolled yeah it's two degrees of failure basically just not gonna get close to that because I needed 51 got a 60 yeah so it didn't matter anyway uh into my turn I think he kind of shoots wide like you see you have to put fear into your enemy after you have them you know to disguise the fact that he just hardly hardly missed you see Evgeny this is why you need to become a psyker yeah you should have quit while you're ahead yeah I bet they're just terrified looking at the advancement sheet right well I should relax and die in the fart cloud really this is just Thurston playing total war uh 40k before they have a chance to release it the heavy flamer will run forward oh he's running he's okay don't worry that's all he can do um well yeah for now that's why we gotta stop him yeah I guess this is the guy I'm charging get him he can uh overwatch me down to here the seize Bethael through the clouds and we'll take a boulder shot at Bethael fuck hi Bethael he's making it a minus 20 at least and I am in cover are in cover minus 20 whew did with me whew the boulder shot goes right over you Bethael okay Cephas here I'm left at an interesting crossroads I think I should probably try to block the guy to the south again honestly creating a bigger stink cloud for the horde and that guy is not a bad idea I I gotta at least try to hit him because that may be an attempt to do more damage I may as well give it a shot you know what I can charge heavy flamer guy well yeah because the problem is if I give him cover and Thurston decides he just wants to shoot you through it like you know then you have to run into stink so I'm gonna just I'm just gonna mortar the other guy Cephas will see that the other marine has dared to step out of the gift that he provided him and he is going to give him another one as he loads another severed head into the grenade shoot by pulling on the other one the pump ah seems he was not overly fond of that cloud I should provide him another and let me see that's not point blank I don't know why it keeps defaulting to point blank but that's really funny uh 25 for six degrees of success it's gonna hit him roll damage all right and and oh my God that's 20 damage yeah and click on that yay we haven't been rolling t- we haven't been rolling toxic on any of the guys I hit um so toxic you have to damage them oh so thick that's why I've been killing off the extra guys because they can't do it but but the marines you never damage them so Zealous Hatred uh one defy- 75 equals 3 plus 3 to critical damage. Okay, and then I will apply this. We'll take a crit 3 to the head. Okay. He'll tell you 4 damage total, so he's down there. He'll take a crit to the head. One sec. So his ear crooked off, leaving a burnt stump. Okay, he's deafened. Okay. As you kind of like melt off part of his helmet along his ear. He then has to roll a toughness test. He fails, and then we'll take 3 more points of damage. How much did you take total from that? I know you took like what, 4 from the... 7 damage total. 7 damage total. Alright. Yep. Which, given it's a space marine, that's pretty fucking good. I'm just imagining he went deaf not because it like blasted him, but because that particular head was screaming as it came down. Oh, I assume that it like it, yeah, that it, again, there's like this toxic cloud that's probably melting and causing it to like graft to his ear rather disturbingly. Um, but alright. And he gets a cloud. And he gets a cloud. He gets a cloud that lasts 2 turns. Ah. It's fine. He's probably gonna try to just leave it. Every turn counts. Now, I just want to make sure, because I'm not, I'm not trying to like game this or anything, but they don't take bonus damage for being in 2 clouds, right? No. No. It's not like they overlap in that way. Got it. But it is now forcing them to... Uh, yeah. So, they'll lose 3. Another guy. Another 3 guys, actually. Hell yeah. Alright. Urkel denies you the Venn Diagram. That's fine. I don't, he has never, he never struck me as a guy of, a man of Venn Diagrams. He doesn't fucking love Venn Diagrams. And he runs to the Thunderhawk. Hey, what the fuck's that guy doing? Wait. Wait, wait, no, no, no, no! Stop that guy! Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait! Wait, we wanted that! Wait, we wanted that! Okay, um... The militia has to move back 3 meters. Everyone charge! They can't retreat to the Thunderhawk! That's ours! Wait, wait, wait, wait, no, no, no, no! I, I think he's just gonna try to shoot at us with the plane. Do Thunderhawks have guns? They have guns, right? They very much do. Yes, they do. Sure do. Evgeny? Uh, Lucitrix has a thing to do. Oh, that's true, yeah. Uh, so, Thurston, in query. Half-action move to get next to Evgeny. Can I then use half-action to give him her grenade launcher? Yep. Okay. Uh, Lucitrix stands up from her position and sprints over amid the stray bolt shots flying overhead, and slides into cover next to Evgeny, and she uh, immediately unslings the grenade launcher strap from around her shoulder, and presents it to him like a supplicant. Here you are, brother. It has...four left. Stand on your own two feet, you don't need to supplicate to me! Thank you for the weapon, sister. I'm also behind cover. Keep your head down. And Evgeny'll take it from her, sling it over his own shoulders and get ready to fire. You also have a crack grenade, brother. I do. Alright. Now it's Evgeny's turn. Uh, I need to fire this gun somehow. I don't have a chance for it. Can we make do with firing with Lucitrix and applying the necessary changes? Well, remember, she doesn't have... One sec, one sec. One sec, one sec. Oh, wait, hold on. One sec. Should we just add the weapon? Yeah, I got it right here. Alright, good. Uh, do I have to blow this with a grenade? No, oh god, yeah, cause it's... Yeah, you're gonna have to put a grenade in it. It has four in it already, though. It has four blights loaded in. Actually, no, you might be able to just fire. You can just make the attack roll. That's fine. Yeah, and then I can roll a blight for you if you want, or if you want to load in a crack, that could also be funny. But I don't think that would be a wise use of your turns. I agree. That is my insurance policy. It is my only insurance policy. Oh, I'm trying to move this over. I dragged over a blight grenade. The numbers are so small. I dragged over a blight grenade onto your sheet as well. Oh, thank you. That crack grenade has a destiny in this campaign. It truly does. That's what's gonna get Lucid Trace killed. You bet. Alright. Targeting you, John Space Marine. At this point, it's short, believe it or not. Yeah, it's point blank. I'm sorry, it's short. I was looking at the bonus, not the right. It's like, uh... Yeah, I can't half-action. I think I've already used an action to even equip the weapon, correct? No, I mean, you'd have it, because it was handed to you. I'll give you that. Okay. I'm gonna aim for half-action, though. Because, God, I need this to find some kind of purchase. I need to do some damage. The gods are watching. Oh, my God. That... It hits. That's gonna hit on an eight. For eight degrees of success. Like I said, the eights are with me. I'm getting disturbed by how much the eights are with him, actually. So, here's how the... Here's how the math works, Hulky. Okay. You have to roll me 2d10 for damage. Because this is a blight grenade, right? This is correct. So, you roll me 2d10 for damage. You need one of these to be a nine or a ten in order to do any damage to this marine. Fuck. Okay. Yep. The other one, you can just... You can use your degrees of success to get an eight. But you need a seventeen or higher, which requires one of these to be an eight or a nine. Sorry, a nine or a ten. Oh, we pray. We pray, we pray, we pray. Damn. No! So close! You put a cloud. Roll me a d10 for how long it's gonna last. Okay. It's gonna be... Four turns. There you go. As you... She's just peeking up over cover next to you. I think you hit him, but I don't think he cares. I don't think he cares either. Cocking hell! That's all I can do. To be so small and made of rotted meat. Alright. Um... That's it for Yevgeny? That's... Yeah, that's all I can do. That's two have actions. Okay, I continue to have Space Marines. Yeah, unfortunately. Space... This Space Marine is going to stay where he is. One sec. He is going to full action. He's gonna try to pin us again, isn't he? He's primarily focusing on Bethael, but we'll see how many he can get. He's moved up quite a ways. I'm hurting. I don't think it's gonna get Yevgeny and Lucitrix, but definitely the rest of you it could get, so we'll do that. Not again. Not again. I should have spent my turn frenzying. This causes his bolter to run dry, but he's gonna do it. Alright, so I have to make a just regular attack without targeting anyone. Normal range. Okay, I'm gonna roll this. This is exactly how I feel playing close combat armies. Yeah. So none of you will get hit by this, but I will require minus ten will powers. Do we still have Inspire? From all the marines. You remember, you ran far away. Also, Inspire only affects fear. Oh, yeah. So... I fucking specialize in this shit. Yeah. Wait, before anyone rolls... I guess you could take that, if you'd like. Oh, no, that's fine. I can delete this 96 that happened, that's fine. No, no, no, get the fuck out. You're pinned, lifeboats. Pinned down population, you. Yeah, I think you're fucked, brother. I think you're fucked, brother! Alright, hold on. I just... I have a radiant presence. I know it affects fear. I just want to see if it also affects pinning. Um... Plus ten to resist fear or against intimidation attacks. Okay. Never mind. All I could imagine was the line that Nirof has in Retribution, where he just gets so annoyed and he says, PINNED. PINNED. Alright. Next. Okay, here we go again. Okay, that's a nineteen, so I succeed with two degrees. Oh my god. I have many secrets! I succeed. I'm gonna... I'm gonna spend... Good, good, good, good. I'm glad. I'm gonna spend my last infamy to just make it a plus zero. That'll make it so much better when you fail and... and... I have taken both your infamy from you. Stop! Stop! There you go! Yay! Woo! You know what? Kyle's done running. I'm happy that happened. I'm done running! Where it's just opposite of you guys are fine and... cause lifeboats can fix themselves. So... That is trial. That works out. Alright, Beth. Beth, Kyle, you're up. My ass needs to frenzy, but everybody who I can charge into is in a fart cloud right now. Um... Risk it for the biscuit. You could say fuck it to all of these people and run after the guy that's going to the Thunderhawk. The guy that's in the Thunderhawk, I can't reach him. He is way far away. He's off the field. Yeah, he's off the field. If you go off the field, maybe there's a chance you could grab him before he gets to the Thunderhawk. Or maybe before the Thunderhawk takes off and you could kill him. And if you do that, you're maximizing your glory, baby, if you get that off. That is true. And we don't have to fight a Thunderhawk. And we don't get killed by Hurricane Bolters or fucking Void Missiles or whatever the hell else they got on that thing. Yeah, literally. Um, okay, so Thurston, looking at the guy who is sprinting after the Thunderhawk, what's my distance look like? Well, let's do a starting check here. Yeah. Um... So, thirty-one. I would have to spend two full turns running. Forty-six will get you to the edge of the map, and he's got about a turn ahead of you. Yeah, he's a turn ahead of me, running to the Thunderhawk. And you'd have to weave... You'd also lose speed, because you have to duck and weave, unless you want to run through the toxic clouds. Yeah, I don't love running through the toxic clouds, because, um... Will they damage me, Erndl? Uh, only if you end your turn in them, I think. Uh, no, if you go through them, if you go through them, you will take... Oh, go through them. Yeah, if you go into them for any reason, or end your activation if you started in... Because he left, like, here. Um, but... I'm sorry, is the poor Berserker... Yeah, yeah, thank you, thank you, thank you, Speaker, you are getting to the point I'm about to make. Um, but... But, but, since you know Blight Grenades, you know that they only do 1d10 energy damage. Um, now, if, basically, I'd have to roll a 10, which would inflict Zealous Hatred on you, and then that would guarantee damage, and then if that happened, then you would have to make a toughness test and potentially take more damage. So, you know... I'd have to roll a 10, Odo. I don't love that. What's the chance of me rolling a 10, Odo? Thurston, you know damn well that if it's gonna happen to anyone... Alright, so if I, if I make a break for this Thunderhawk guy, you have to double, triple cover my ass, because everybody will be able to see me. My next, if you do that, my next action is going to be shooting at the only guy that could possibly... Aggress you. Like, well, I mean, not the only guy, but the guy in the best position to aggress. Well, the hordes can do some damage. The hordes can definitely beat my ass. Uh, with enough volume of fire. But you have my earnest, you have my earnest, uh, I swear, I will try to fucking get this guy's attention, or at least... I'm gonna ruffle him a little, if I can. Okay! I will... I am at half wound, so yeah, y'all cover me. Um... Yeah, Bethael is going to look back toward the rest of the group and say, I'm going for the Thunderhawk! Kill them all! Glory to you! And is going to run... Uh, his run speed is 21 meters, so he can get... here. Uh... Please let me move him? Let's go skim the cloud. Thank you. Oh, it will skim the cloud. Uh, well, if I go here... Whee! You actually, yeah, that is just enough to not. You weaved it. I weaved it. Uh, and yeah, head down, he is running toward the guy who's making a break for the Thunderhawk. There's only one marine between you and him. Is that guy. Well, the, the, the, those are clouds of gas, but they're not a wall, so... Uh, that is going to be... Bethi's turn. Alright, that's gonna bring us over to Byzantium. On this day, Slaanesh's song aids the brass hounds! I'm going to go ahead and aim half-action, and then I'm going to full auto at the marine right here. Okay. Um, so let's see. Uh, he's not obscured from the gas clouds, is he? Uh, from where you are? Yeah. This one? I guess he would be, yeah. Fair enough. In fact, he's double obscured, but it's only minus 10, so... Very good, very good. Um, okay. That will even out to being challenging. Because it'll just nullify my bonuses. Um... Or a couple bonuses. Uh, let's rock. Ten! On the die! Woohoo! Slaanesh! Shepherd the dog of Khorne! I'll roll damage. That's not bad, that's not bad! Alright, cool, cool, cool. I'm gonna replace that two with a seven, and I'll also replace that five with a seven. And I'm gonna roll Zealous Hatred, um, for the amount of damage I do. That's a plus five on the crit damage. Woohoo! That's a lot of damage! That's a lot of damage! A lot of damage! Four damage to lift arm. His, uh, shoulder joint explodes, his arm is severed. Um... His stun for 25 rounds, and he gains seven fatigue. Roll me d5. Spear. You got it! That's a four! Okay. So he will be stunned for four rounds, and has taken a massive amount of fatigue, and his arm is destroyed. I'm so pleased that's... This is ending somehow. But, not looking great. Slanesh aids you today as Khorne aided against Calamentia Cain! I'll take it! Alright, that's my turn. Lifos, you are now up. Yes, I shall cast Inspire upon thine self to remove this egregious pinning effect upon me. Raise the force to happen! Roll a 32 for six degrees of success, so whoa! Get rid of pinning, which I believe that will still now give me, uh, my other half action. It can't give me a full action back, but I now can do, uh, the other one, and I shall use that to fire... Well, you're pinned this turn, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. I'm pinned this turn. I cast a spark because I have a half action, pin goes away, and I imagine just kind of how pinning works in order, that because now it doesn't, like, remove it, it just puts a condition, so then the condition's not there, so I get a half action back. If you want to double check on me, in case I'm wrong. Um, I... Let's see. I think the way it's worded, it doesn't do that, but we'll play it that way, that's fine. I think because it's and this is something I just don't know and is kind of into minutia, but you can only... You can only take half action, so... Hmm. You might... Yeah, I can only take half actions, because I immediately overcome the effects of pinning. I think you can still do it, yeah. Honestly, now that I'm reading it, it might just be that you can never take a full action whelp in, but you can take multiple half actions, which might be, uh... Yeah. ...the thing. So, anyways, regardless, it's gone now. And so I go, and do that to myself, and then I shall point uh, my plasma gun over to the one that Byzantium is shooting at, and I shall aim him, or aid him, rather, as he pretty much points over and goes like, like, Ends each's will, so chains of failures to success witness your doom, and then big ol' plasma pistol goes through. That is a 34 for 8 degrees of success. That goes through, and oh, good damage, good damage. Ooh! Zealous hatred. Zealous hatred, so plus 1 to the critical damage stuff. Uh, you are free to click that apply button, as I do 20 total damage with 8 pin. Okay, he will take 1 point of crit to his body. Uh, let's do this. Only take a half action on his next turn. Alright. He's stunned, half actioned. Everything sucks. That is the end of my turn trying to bring this guy down, but he is just tankin' it. Alright. Well, that's gonna bring us over to the kindling militia over here, who is going to spend 3 to get out of the cloud. Try to little power themselves. Nope! Uh, but they don't lose gags to get out of the cloud, so that's good. It's gonna bring us the guy in there. Uh... Hulky, can you roll me a d10? Absolutely. I'm scared. 9. Okay, not enough for what you needed, but thank you. Um... Hello? Seeing you, Beth, I am. The big guy can only take a half action. Oh, he's gonna try to... He's gonna try to shoot you, which is what he's gonna do. Oh, shit! So... Oh, and it's gonna exhaust me, too. Shit! I, um... I'm just gonna click... I think if I select you, um... I think if you click the roll my agility save... There we go. Oh... Oh, no. Fuck! That's not bad. That's really bad. So you're on fire, Bethael. What did you roll, Bethael? As you go weaving between these smoke clouds, and a jet of flame comes out from the guy who's been struck by the plasma. He's struck by the plasma pistol because this guy with the heavy flamer was turning at you. Yeah, I rolled a 93. Six degrees of failure. Roll damage. That's true. No pity in the 41st millennium. It's not even that much damage, so you're kinda lucky there. Uh... Yeah, you're only gonna take five damage. So... But you're on fire! Still... Still, I... I only have eight... Sorry, I only have three wounds left now. I'll be really glad that I haven't, like, you know, crit you a bunch. Yeah! You're up. You're the ones getting zealous hatred everywhere, I'm just saying. I need to figure out how best I can do this, because the most I can do... Hang on a sec. Yeah, they're still in range. And the best I can do is targeting that guardsman towards the very back, using him as a delightful little targeting pin, and I'm going to fire yet another grenade of my limited supply of light grenades at that guy, hoping to gather all of them in a single cloud. Probably. Assuming I'm looking at this right. Yeah, that should catch them all. Let's see if it happens first. Uh... Normal range, half-action aim... ... 51 will hit my target. Doesn't matter because I'm targeting a horde, so just... Yeah. Yeah, sorry, which... Sorry, I'm not seeing where you're targeting. It's this fella here. Sorry, can you re-ping? I am pinging repeatedly. I see him now. Talk group bomb I've got. I see him now, I see him now. Um, okay. Sorry. Um... Alright, so that will kill three more. Three more. And now they're in a cloud as well. Die in agony, and then there will be a new cloud, which... That will get the other marine. Keep moving, Warhound, keep moving. Roll me a d10 for how many rounds? Yep. Eight rounds. And then roll 2d10 for the other marine. Four. Not a chance for that one. Okay, cool. Alright. And that's it for me. Conflagration marine time. Yeah... Oh, he's the one running for the thunderhawk. Yeah, he gets in the thunderhawk. Shit. That doesn't mean he's out, it just means he's in it. I don't get to the edge of the map next turn, though. Yeah, you do. Nope. My run's 21. You're there. Damn. Still... I lose another guy to the death fog as they try to get out. They are maneuvering back. You see these, like, human troops coughing and wheezing as they're rushing out. Corpses falling on the ground all around. You've got any here? Narkel's guarding out here. Yeah, Lucille Church is just gonna spend her turn anyway. She can't fucking do anything. I mean, I could give her my last rifle, but that would require you to be on her turn, or on your turn. You may as well just shoot. That's true. Again, you'll pump another grenade out towards the space marine and hope to god it fucking hits again. The flamer marine? Yeah. Okay. Actually, I should ask, would it benefit all of you to shoot the mob or the marine? Bear in mind, you're only ever gonna take three off of a mob, no matter what, with the grenades. And if you hit, if you hit that mob too close, you're gonna narrow Bethael's corridor, which is not what you want. That is true. Alright, well, I'll just pump another one at the marine then, instead. Short range, we're gonna half-action aim again. Please, god. Please, god. Please, god. Please! It does hit! Four degrees of success. And a nine and a ten. I don't want to click the text on the damage button, I want to click the damage button. Okay, we're doing this now. That's fine. Do it? Remember, you roll your damage on the blight grenade, not on the uh, not on the button. Oh. Yeah. True. it exploded dude what exploded my sheet oh no oh no there we go oh for fuck's sake are you fucking oh my god oh there's the toxic i meant to lead not to keel is that your go that's yeah i fucking is thurston whatever podcast listeners no effect rolled seven damage total hey hey yeah so you're gonna take 1d10 energy damage that ignores your armor i might just go down here um so you take no damage so that's good because your toughness bonus is fucking wait what what my toughness bonus shouldn't be that high uh my toughness is i mean i've got uh uh one sec it might be actually no it is because you have unnatural toughness so yeah no that's correct yes okay do you take no damage um so here's the fun part um being on fire the worst condition in this game you take a point of fatigue that's the that's the it's the that's the uh the start of the thing um then i believe and i'm just gonna pull this up to make sure uh on fire okay so you take that one fatigue um now make a now make a challenging willpower test mm-hmm oh CHRISTO oh corn if you're out there right on the dot baby 40 on 40. all right here's the here's the thing you can extinguish the flames by dropping and making aier object on fire i'm an Sage still in here to do the mermaid bite i'm doing it now you're crafting a yes right now you're crafting a yes okay give that to me you're crafting a delle مع Gibberpartie i'm working with this dragonμ and let's go to the fucker mano ノ card, a minus 20 agility test is a full action. Ugh. If you choose not to do this, the fire will remain on you. Mm-hmm. Nobody would happen to have a power washer for me with it. I could shoot a You could also keep running. You could keep running. Because that's my thing. If Thunderhawk guy gets into the air, he's shooting at me. Like, I'm fucked either way. Yeah, you could have the flaming corn berserker run onto the Thunderhawk. Which is probably exactly what I am going to do. That's an awesome, awesome way to live your life, corn berserker. So I will either have to spend infamy to not die here, or I'm about to get a bunch of infamy. Correct. So Bethael is just going to be gritting his teeth. And he's going to let out a primal war scream. And he is going to just keep booking it. Full speed for the Thunderhawk. Oh, the glory of corn. Give me a run. Give me a run. Move your... I'm going. Does fatigue impact my run speed? Hold on. Fatigue. Oh, God. Fatigue? Fatigue. Fatigue, which is in the most useless place in the book because it goes... It starts before the critical tables and ends. What? Yeah, I know. You start... You get a number of fatigue levels equal to your toughness bonus. Okay. If you suffer any levels of fatigue, you take a minus 10 on all tests. Okay. Tests. Tests. So I can still run at full speed, and that is what I am going to do. Full speed. Full speed ahead. I'm trying not to clip the fart cloud here. You want to avoid getting sent to Brappistan? Okay. Yeah. You're still on fire and running, screaming past them. Exactly. We're out of range of the Flamer Troop now, at least. Further from friends who can help you, but hey, that's fine. Yeah, exactly. This is Black Crusade. Are you kidding me? We live for death. This is true. Cephas is his friend. That is true. They're buds. Byzantium, you're up. I have a question. This is kind of a long shot, so I need Thurston's permission before I attempt this. Yeah. This is... I can understand if you reject this, but is it possible for me, seeing Bethael's situation, to fire my sonic blaster at the ground apace behind him and try to get the resultant dirt and detritus to wash over him to try to snuff out the fire? You need a 10 or less on a D100. Okay. Well, that's not going to happen. So instead, I will leave the coordinate to die. You don't like the gamble? Thanks, man. Look, I got like... I got under 10 on my last two rules. Wow. Yeah. Yeah, third time's a charm, coward. That's fair. If I got it, it's not like you'd get me any infinite. He might. No, I'd actually take it away from you because you saved a servant of Sledge. Yeah, exactly. That's true. That's true. Sledge is just like, man, fuck that guy. What I will do is... I will rise from prone for half action and I'm going to target the guy... I can't... I have to untarget this guy, maybe. Am I just not allowed to target people? I'm only targeting the guy that I had targeted previously. Have you refreshed the window in a while? Ah, no, I can target now. I can target now. I'm going to target the guy closest to us. The flamer? Yeah. Yeah. If the cornite goes in flame, then so do you. And I'm going to... I'm going to semi-auto this time since I'm not going to get a chance to aim. So, minus 10, plus 10. Ultimately, it comes out the same. I'm going to open fire. Okay. It's a 62. That does hit. With three degrees of success, I believe I hit him twice. Is it for every two degrees of success? Yeah. Yeah, for semi-auto, yeah. Because it technically is minus 10 because you didn't put the penalty for the cloud. Well, it's minus 10, but it's also plus 10. That's why I didn't put the penalty. What's the plus 10 from? Elevating position. Okay. What's the... What's the other plus 10 you have right now? Short range. No, it's... I see you have short range. You have his size. Then you have other plus 10. I shouldn't have an other plus 10. Well, it counts. Okay. But regardless, you're still going to... Sorry about that. I don't know what the facts are on there. No, no, no. I don't know either. Bad damage for that one, but I can turn that one to a three. And I do hit twice. I guess dealing six damage to his left leg. Yeah, which... Weirdly didn't apply correctly, but that's fine. It's going to... He's going to take one, and then he's going to go to five. It's going to be five energy to the leg because he is going to take a crit from this. I don't know why it didn't apply that. But... But... Okay. He... Ooh, okay. He's knocked prone and takes one level of fatigue as he kind of goes down. He's still conscious. All right. We must do all we can to ensure Bethael gets to that Thunderhawk. Advance! And I'll point forward. And then I'll end my turn. Okay. Okay. It looks like life is at risk. For once, we agree, Slaaneshi. And, like, just like that moment from Lord of the Rings of the Elves and stuff like, da-na-na-na-na-na-na. He, like, four steps going, floats down. Yeah, kind of the wave here. So half action, he's going to basically begin to, you know, gracefully present himself downward upon this path of England's glory in the battlefield. He just can move five meters over that way. And, uh, further into the field itself. And for one half action, the other half action, he's just blasting. Uh, he's pointing at things. He's doing his best to try to give, uh, Bethael some cover. And for the one Marine, the one that's closest, uh, that I know that... The Flamer. Yeah, the one... Well, the Flamer guy's dead. Like, he's down on the ground. Like... Well, he's prone. He's still alive. Oh, I don't see him. He might choke. He'll be... I'm not super worried about him. I don't know why I didn't hold him, my bad. Yeah, you're good. Yeah, he's unconscious. Yeah, just, uh... No, he's still conscious. Oh, okay. He's just fatigued. He's fatigued. My bad, my bad. All right, well, regardless, I'm going to just see if I can finish him off here. And since I stood away from people, we're going to doom out with unlimited power! Going all the way. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Good thing I did that, because roll an 82, but need the hundreds. That worked out a lot. Psycho Phenomena. Whoop. Get that first. The Furies. The Psycher is a sound by unseen horse. This has a lot of luck. He is slammed to the ground. Rose, always seen horrors. Oh, no. Oh, my God. He does ignore his armor, but not toughness bonus, so I'm good. And he must test against fear. Okay. I'm the worst wizard I've ever met. I'm trying to be so fucking cool. You're floating down like the Lord of the Rings, the elf. Oh, Stumbo. He just starts rolling around like, oh, oh, my eyes. Oh, mother fucker. The horrors, the horrors. I think Furies are going to become our, uh, our new hated enemy in this game. Yeah, they're a meme. So as the swarm of Furies that you know exists on this planet descends and pushes you into the dirt, uh, your toughness bonus is enough that you'll take no damage from this. So that's, um, however, I'm just spitting on you. But I do free action. I do want a free action to sustain my inspires. I won't have to deal with the minus ten. So let me roll my wheel. All right. I fail, even though my will is really good. I roll an 87 for two degrees of failure. So I am scared. I'm scared. I'm scared. Let's see. Let's see. I got to find the find the table. Uh, okay. Um. Um. Okay, uh, roll me a D100 plus 20. Wait, I'm not getting, like, a thing from this. I just get feared, right? No, no, no. This is failing a fear test. You roll a D100 plus 20. All right. Wait, it's for every degree of failure. Yeah. If he needs to make a fear test. I don't think this matters. I don't know what he rolled. Two degrees of failure. Yeah, your radiance thing. Yeah, you can only get one degree of failure, my friend. You're welcome. So plus ten. D100 plus ten or if it only applies to you, we can roll it with plus ten. If it's not the case, we can up it later. Yeah, plus ten. Fuck you. Oh, 94. 104. Well, luckily, 104. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. at requisition instead i got 10 silencers never mind carry on put the respect on you best part was if if if it was the minus if it was the plus 20 if speaker's thing didn't help then instead of fainting he would just vomit uncontrollably for 1d5 rounds what could he vomit he is sand i vomit he would just vomit sand do i immediately faint or can is my doom boat going out uh your doom boat still occurs you just faint dead away yeah kill that guy so i'll roll its damage it's only four on the die so total of 10 10 uh penetration eight okay please die it's actually gonna be severity seven because it for some reason doesn't track the crit damage correctly so seven on the arm energy um targeted stone for one uh roll me a d5 please you got it oh that's right because it's special target is dead for five turns 25 that is no now he's definitely dead dead that fatigue puts him into into the dead round as he just collapses from the psychic bolt that tears through him the ring kind of punches over falls down the damaged uh heavy flamer collapsing with him uh he's dead he's dead he's dead he's dead um and then kind of giving a little explosion where he was there i give guinea that is how you destroy it you know i just like bones collapse down that's not good and that that's the end of my turn thank you you didn't pass away oh god doing all this shit all this oh yeah you're so weak you're so small wait what's that the kindling militia continues to not rally and loses another guy to the plague uh the place as it falls back cephas your go i think one of my plague clouds is done by this point isn't it uh i've been counting don't worry okay just making sure fuck what the hell do i do man this this corner one is gone now and this one is gone yeah that's a good call kill that guy right okay so he's gonna have to either half move or take it anyway so fucking all right to continue aiding my good friend odo i launch yet another grenade i got two left in my fucking launcher all right uh you would only let me shoot once per round right yes okay just making sure uh just gonna add same as always cephas remains in his spot unmoving mountain of pus and garbage that he is and he half action aim shoot grenade at guy down there hit uh success 54 on the die huh oh stunned that's why oh he's stunned i forgot he's basically all right whatever you know what fine oh five degrees success on target uh i'm going to cover him and god no okay yeah um there okay he's not stunned um so there is a problem we're we're having uh this must be how the crit is applying um unlike other things each of these guys is not a separate instance so it's like applied all of those status effects to the character sheet so it looks like it's not applying it to the individual ones so that's where i'll uncheck stun target then yeah i still hit with three degrees yeah yeah for sure select the chart you may now roll damage clicked go my poisons 6 out okay that's six it will it will cover him but do not much that's all i want it to do very good i'm starting to run out of blanket grenades and then he checks his uh he checks his uh indicator that is like glitching out and bleeping and anger at him oh wait no i'm not 7 engine out 2 engines 7 18 17 25 of the Thunderhawk, Rev. Uh-oh. Second Kindling Militia falls back, and is actually going to now make a willpower test. They will get a plus 30, which I've been forgetting. They will still fail. Oh my god. Uh-oh. Oh my god. Listen, you've had a whole bunch of clouds of... If I make it to this Thunderhawk without dying... A whole bunch of clouds of noxious, poisonous gas have been flooding your brain. Yeah, you're scared. It's my go? Uh-huh. I think we're losing time doing this, so let me... Kill Evgeny! Well... His head exploded into nonexistence. Lucy, you can have this back. All right, very good. And she'll take the grenade launcher back. Uh, and can I use my remaining action... Shoot with my las rifle at the mob back there doing nothing? Yeah, for sure. Cool, let's do that. No aiming. I need to sort the scaling issue. Or I need to get better eyes. I make my sheet very large so I can see everything. Oh, and I keep closing out the sheet so I can see the battle map because my eyes are too small. Just double... If you want to minimize it, just double-click the top of it. The top of your sheet. Hey, that's pretty good. I like that. The years we have been doing this, I've never known that. I actually just learned that. I was today years old when I learned that. I was today years old when I fucking learned this. I'm so sorry. I've been doing this for five years. I didn't realize that. I've just been closing and opening it. I'm so unprofessional. I'm fired. Oh my god. I'm going to target... I'm going to overload and full auto and attempt to take some more damage. More people out. So will it take an action at all? Let me double-check. I think it's just a decision made because it also comes with penalties normally. But because it's best quality, it negates them. Okay. I don't... As far as penalties or bonuses to the attack type, I don't have a full auto option. So... And what type of... What type of weapon is it? It's a las rifle. Okay. So it's just a standard las rifle. Okay. Yeah. I ain't got no more... Of course. Just my wonderful ADHD brain. Yeah. You don't have a full auto. You don't have a full auto option. It's just semi-auto. That's fine. Yeah. Here we go. Let's see. Okay. 33. Okay. And four degrees of success. Yeah. So you'll hit twice. And pen two. So you'll kill... You'll actually roll damage. It's gonna matter for your gun. Yeah. Okay. I'm sure that's a... Oh, good. Pen two. That will kill... That will kill two of them. That's pretty... Okay. Nice. He's got a kill count. He's got a body count on the board. Cocking bleeders. It's the most I can do. It's better than nothing. It's better than nothing. You're damn right it is. You can't even... At the end of your move. It's marine. And it comes out of the gas cloud. Hey, he doesn't need to do that. Seize your expert shooting, you. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. Uh. Oh, this asshole again. Oh, no! And he's gonna take... Come on, leave him alone! ...his turn, to reload his bolter cuz it's empty. Uh... Oh yeah, forgot. He's been to sleep so he can't do that. I've been counting. I've been keeping track. I know what my superior's used. Okay, Bethael. Time for a bunch of rolls from you. Yay! One sec. Okay, Bethael, you will ignore the fire grand reward. We wouldn't. That'd be terrible. The fire damage. Now, give me the willpower. Do I get any bonuses to this at this point? If you are frenzying, yes. Well, I can't waste a turn frenzying unless you would let me narratively declare that I've taken enough damage to get pissed off. You sure can't. What I'm telling you is you made the wrong choice of not frenzying in the first round and it's just coming back to haunt you every moment for the rest of this game. When the barbarian forgets to rage. That's right. We have the calm berserker. Exactly. Well, because I didn't want to frenzy without getting closer to melee because what if I charged my friends again? What if Bethael hits by magic? No, you usually do that once your enemies are dead. So, you know. Oh, I should have frenzyed. Oh, but I still get it. I'm so good. I'm so good at rolling dice. The flaming corn berserker rushes towards the Thunderhawk, managing to hop in the door as it begins to take off in hover mode. So, because I was already kind of close, would I have been in charge range? No. Because he's inside. Fuck. He's in the cockpit. You can't run through the whole Thunderhawk. Yeah. I'm being generous giving, because he has like, he had a whole extra turn on you. I'm saying this lets you get in the door. I do have a 16 inch charge. Yes, but he spent like a 30 inch running. I love that it's inches, not meters. Like the game is. Yeah, you know what? You know what, Bethael? You have an 18 inch charge. I can clarify. No, you can't, you can't, you can't. Yeah, I absolutely can't. Bethael, as you rush into the flaming Thunderhawk, or as you rush, flaming, jumping into the orange Thunderhawk as it begins to lift off your allies, seeing a space ring come out, reloading a vulture. The other space ring clearly without an arm and disheveled the troops pulling out, attempting to rally. That's where we're gonna call today's episode. Oh, you're gonna have to make me wait till next week to see if I die. Yeah, I mean, like literally we could start off and the first thing could happen is your round comes and then you're on fire and fall unconscious in the back of the Thunderhawk. We could do a whole arc where they go back to the spaceship and you're just on there. We'll find out. We could do the Bethael retrieval arc. Oh, my God. Really bad burning day. Bethael's no good. Very hot day. But of course, thank you guys so much for watching this episode of Warhams of Chaos Odyssey. I see. I didn't say it. I didn't say the other name this time. I'm doing good. You did it.
