- 0:00Speaker 1: This is seven r Boy.
- 0:03Speaker 2: The Mark Simoon Show starts now.
- 0:08Speaker 1: Well Thursday already. Well, we had one last ninety degree day.
- 0:14Speaker 1: It's gonna be like ninety to day, then back to
- 0:16Speaker 1: normal temperatures after today. We got a lot to get to.
- 0:20Speaker 1: We'll get to Iran. We'll get to the war, we'll
- 0:23Speaker 1: get to the Pope. We'll get to Mom. Donnie is
- 0:27Speaker 1: doing some stuff that is so crazy dumb that people
- 0:32Speaker 1: are starting to really wonder what the hell of this
- 0:34Speaker 1: guy's all about. We'll get to crazy Kathy Hokeel. We'll
- 0:38Speaker 1: get to live Nation ticket prices. We'll get to mel Brooks.
- 0:45Speaker 1: We'll get to a whole lot more that could be
- 0:47Speaker 1: a Doorman strike. Lots to talk about today, we'll get
- 0:51Speaker 1: to all of that coming up. So just the latest
- 0:54Speaker 1: on Iran. The blockade is in progress. It's very very
- 0:58Speaker 1: very successful. Twenty ships were allowed in through the blockade.
- 1:04Speaker 1: The US turned away thirteen ships. Actually, that's how good
- 1:07Speaker 1: the blockade is. They didn't have to even turn them away.
- 1:10Speaker 1: They saw the blockade and turned around and got the
- 1:12Speaker 1: hell out of there. The blockade is about a dozen
- 1:16Speaker 1: major major ships, US Navy ships, many dozens of aircraft,
- 1:22Speaker 1: about ten thousand people work on this blockade. US military
- 1:27Speaker 1: Admiral Cooper, who is running Sentcom he was there in
- 1:30Speaker 1: the Middle East, went to inspect everything personally, talked to
- 1:33Speaker 1: the troops, said, de morale is very high. Troops are
- 1:37Speaker 1: doing really well. So the blockade is in effect. There
- 1:41Speaker 1: will be talks resuming at some point. President Trump on
- 1:45Speaker 1: the blockade.
- 1:45Speaker 3: It's been pretty amazing. Actually, I thought that was going
- 1:48Speaker 3: to happen. They reacted to this even I think was,
- 1:52Speaker 3: you know, we've obliterated them, and this almost seems to
- 1:55Speaker 3: be more of a reaction than we had before. I
- 1:58Speaker 3: think it's close to ovie mean, I view it is
- 2:00Speaker 3: very close to over. You know what, if I pulled
- 2:04Speaker 3: up stakes right now, it would take them twenty years
- 2:07Speaker 3: to rebuild the country. And we're not finished. We'll see
- 2:11Speaker 3: what happens. I think they want to make it deal
- 2:13Speaker 3: very badly.
- 2:14Speaker 1: You might be saying, what's wrong with this voice? He
- 2:16Speaker 1: sounds worse. Yeah, he is. In fact, this is Maria
- 2:19Speaker 1: Bartioma interviewing him. She said, well, you're very horse what happened,
- 2:23Speaker 1: and he actually said, yeah, it's my fault. He goes,
- 2:27Speaker 1: I was yelling at people. I was yelling at some
- 2:29Speaker 1: really stupid people. I was yelling at them and that's
- 2:31Speaker 1: my voices of coorse. But things are going very well.
- 2:36Speaker 1: The blockade will continue, talks will resume or ran through
- 2:40Speaker 1: third parties is asking to get back to the bargaining table.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Now this will be a whole different kind of bargaining.
- 2:48Speaker 1: This negotiation will be a lot different. The Straits are closed.
- 2:51Speaker 1: We closed them, and that changes everything. The only leverage
- 2:56Speaker 1: they had was the Straits of Hornless. Now we've closed
- 2:58Speaker 1: them and it's doing them damage and doing us no
- 3:02Speaker 1: harm at all. In fact, we make money with the
- 3:04Speaker 1: Straits closed because countries can't get any oil out of there,
- 3:07Speaker 1: so they're forced to come to us to buy oil.
- 3:09Speaker 1: But with the Straits closed, Iran loses four one hundred
- 3:13Speaker 1: and fifty million a day, four hundred and fifty million
- 3:17Speaker 1: a day, that's something like fifteen billion a month. So
- 3:21Speaker 1: with the Straits closed, we've basically cut off all of
- 3:25Speaker 1: Iran's revenue. We've basically seized their assets. So they are
- 3:30Speaker 1: in real, real trouble with the Straates closed. This will
- 3:32Speaker 1: make bargaining entirely different this time. It was a very
- 3:36Speaker 1: upsetting day yesterday for Democrats. I'm a look at their
- 3:39Speaker 1: Schumer on TV. He looks so miserable. Look at him.
- 3:43Speaker 1: He should put him on suicide watch. Look how miserable
- 3:45Speaker 1: he looks. No reason he's so miserable. It's the blockade
- 3:48Speaker 1: is working. Iran is begging to come back to the
- 3:50Speaker 1: bargaining table. And this is the one that really killed
- 3:52Speaker 1: these democrats. Yesterday, yesterday the stock market hit an all
- 3:58Speaker 1: time high record high on the stock market. The Tao,
- 4:02Speaker 1: not the Tao, but the more important measure, the broader
- 4:05Speaker 1: measure of the market, is the S and P five hundred.
- 4:08Speaker 1: The Tao is a handful of stocks. The S and
- 4:11Speaker 1: P five hundred is the whole thing. S and P
- 4:14Speaker 1: five hundred yesterday, at the end of the day hit
- 4:16Speaker 1: an all time high highest number on the stock market
- 4:21Speaker 1: ever in history. An incredible turnaround. Look at Schumer, he
- 4:25Speaker 1: looks suicidal now. He just looks so upset about this.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Even on the network news, I mean, that's quite a story.
- 4:31Speaker 1: The stock market hits the highest level ever in history.
- 4:35Speaker 1: They had to bury that, They had to make it
- 4:36Speaker 1: story number like fourteen in the newscast. But you know,
- 4:41Speaker 1: for weeks and weeks and weeks and weeks we've had
- 4:43Speaker 1: democrats telling you that the Iran war has destroyed us.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Look at the stock market, it's way down. Remember we
- 4:48Speaker 1: went to the same thing with tariffs. There was a
- 4:50Speaker 1: plunge in the stock market this time and with the tariffs,
- 4:54Speaker 1: and it not only came back, it came back bigger
- 4:57Speaker 1: and better than ever. And after the tariff it then
- 5:00Speaker 1: set a new all time record. And after this plunge,
- 5:03Speaker 1: it just set a new all time record again yesterday.
- 5:06Speaker 1: So you know, all these things that democrats yell and
- 5:08Speaker 1: scream about that they all go away in a couple
- 5:11Speaker 1: of weeks. And I don't know what it's a fascinating
- 5:14Speaker 1: These democrats aren't stupid, they're not stupid people, but they
- 5:17Speaker 1: can't seem to figure out the pattern that every time
- 5:20Speaker 1: this stuff happens, three weeks later, it's forgotten about. So
- 5:22Speaker 1: stop making such an issue out of it. Same thing's
- 5:25Speaker 1: going to happen with the pope. And look at these
- 5:28Speaker 1: look at these stories. Oh, here's a story about how
- 5:33Speaker 1: the fact that the president started a feud with the pope,
- 5:36Speaker 1: the fact that he attacked the pope, the fact that
- 5:39Speaker 1: he got into a war with the pope, this is
- 5:41Speaker 1: going to kill him. Once and for all. This story
- 5:45Speaker 1: is from twenty sixteen. It's ten years old. This is
- 5:48Speaker 1: when he had to fight with Pope Francis. He wasn't
- 5:51Speaker 1: elected yet, he was running, he was in the South
- 5:52Speaker 1: Carolina primary. Said this is it, he's finished. Remember, Pope
- 5:56Speaker 1: Francis attacked him. This is when Trump was campaigning on
- 5:59Speaker 1: building a wall and Pope Francis, these popes can be
- 6:04Speaker 1: incredibly wrong when they discuss political stuff. The Pope said,
- 6:08Speaker 1: any person who builds a wall, whoever they may be,
- 6:13Speaker 1: is not a Christian. If you're building walls and nutbridges,
- 6:16Speaker 1: you are not a Christian. Well, first of all, they
- 6:20Speaker 1: have a huge wall around the Vatican. The Pope has,
- 6:23Speaker 1: if you've been to the Vatican, is a big, huge wall.
- 6:27Speaker 1: And the you know, we love the Pope, but he
- 6:30Speaker 1: has no right to say something like that's crazy. And
- 6:32Speaker 1: Trump fired back. At the time, this is in twenty sixteen,
- 6:36Speaker 1: he said, for a religious leader, the question of person's
- 6:39Speaker 1: faith is disgraceful. Well, he's right, that's a good comment.
- 6:42Speaker 1: But then you know, all hell broke. Lucia can't attack
- 6:45Speaker 1: the pope, you can't fight with the pope. And then
- 6:47Speaker 1: Trump says, you know, if and when the Vatican is
- 6:49Speaker 1: attacked by Isis, which everyone knows is they're ultimate target.
- 6:54Speaker 1: I can promise you the Pope would have hoped that
- 6:56Speaker 1: Donald Trump is president to help defend things. So fake
- 6:59Speaker 1: news went crazy. So that was twenty sixteen. Not only
- 7:03Speaker 1: did it not affect the election. The next day he
- 7:06Speaker 1: won the South Carolina primary, a big Catholic state. But
- 7:09Speaker 1: so again, twenty sixteen, big fight with the Pope. Three
- 7:14Speaker 1: weeks later, everybody forgot about it. So now new fight
- 7:17Speaker 1: with the Pope. Here's all the left wing, the real
- 7:21Speaker 1: left wing, fake news like New York Times. In this
- 7:25Speaker 1: Pope Trump faces a different kind of opponent. This is
- 7:28Speaker 1: a different kind of opponent. And then there's you ever
- 7:31Speaker 1: read Vox Media. That's a real, real left wing publication.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Vox says, this time Donald Trump messed with the wrong pope.
- 7:42Speaker 1: He may have fought with Francis before, but Leo is
- 7:46Speaker 1: a tougher foil New York Times. Leo has incredible support
- 7:52Speaker 1: from a broad swathe of conservative Catholics. Now, I who
- 7:56Speaker 1: said that a lot of Catholics not too thrilled that
- 7:59Speaker 1: they got a left wing, woke pope. In fact, remember
- 8:02Speaker 1: when Leo became pope, he had to delete his Twitter.
- 8:07Speaker 1: He had for a long time had a Twitter account
- 8:09Speaker 1: which had a lot of left wing stuff, a lot
- 8:12Speaker 1: of angry left wing stuff, a lot of Trump bashing
- 8:15Speaker 1: was on his Twitter. When he became pope, he had
- 8:17Speaker 1: to delete the whole account. So, but you know it's
- 8:21Speaker 1: not again, a pope should never ever be questioning anybody's
- 8:24Speaker 1: faith like that. Now. JD. Vance was not for going
- 8:28Speaker 1: after the pope, but he, you know, as he usually does,
- 8:31Speaker 1: he quickly got on board. But here's JD. Vance on
- 8:33Speaker 1: the Pope yesterday.
- 8:34Speaker 4: How can you say that God is never on the
- 8:36Speaker 4: side of those who willed the sword? Was God on
- 8:39Speaker 4: the side of the Americans who liberated France from the Nazis.
- 8:44Speaker 4: Was God on the side of the Americans who liberated
- 8:47Speaker 4: Holocaust camps and liberated those those innocent people from you know,
- 8:51Speaker 4: those who had survived the Holocaust.
- 8:53Speaker 1: He's got a point. If you weren't allowed to ever
- 8:55Speaker 1: do this stuff, then you'd have to let Hitler take
- 8:58Speaker 1: over everything. You would have had to let Russia take Ukraine,
- 9:02Speaker 1: if you're not allowed to stand up to evil. He's
- 9:05Speaker 1: got a very very good point there. So again this
- 9:09Speaker 1: will all be forgotten about come back in a month.
- 9:11Speaker 1: Nobody will remember anything about the Pope. Nobody will remember
- 9:13Speaker 1: anything about a Jesus picture. It turns out that Trump
- 9:18Speaker 1: was in Miami and the guy who's the head of
- 9:23Speaker 1: Federal Housing Finance commit I forget his name is Bill Pluth.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Apparently he showed him this Jesus meme of Trump. This
- 9:32Speaker 1: was going all over the internet. Apparently he showed it
- 9:34Speaker 1: to Trump. Trump thought it was funny. Basically, that's one
- 9:37Speaker 1: of the reasons he played. Just thought it was cute, funny.
- 9:40Speaker 1: But all hell broke loose. Turns out even Mike Johnson,
- 9:43Speaker 1: Speaker of the House, he called Trump personally and asked
- 9:46Speaker 1: him to take down the Jesus thing. That probably had
- 9:49Speaker 1: more influence on him than anything else. Hey, people are
- 9:53Speaker 1: starting to worry about mom Donnie's mental health. You know,
- 9:57Speaker 1: the fact that he's a crazy socialist. Okay, that's a
- 9:59Speaker 1: lot left wing idiots. The fact that he's an anti Semite.
- 10:04Speaker 1: I hate to say it, but that's a lot of
- 10:05Speaker 1: the left wing right now. Disgusting as it is. It's
- 10:09Speaker 1: it's a terrible thing on the on the democratic side.
- 10:13Speaker 1: But he's starting to look absolutely nuts. This supermarket thing.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Even people in the supermarket industry are stunned at how
- 10:23Speaker 1: stupid this guy is. He's talking about building his first supermarket.
- 10:28Speaker 1: He wants to do five, one in each borough. The
- 10:30Speaker 1: first one is going to be an absolute dump. If
- 10:34Speaker 1: you look at the pictures of where it is, it's
- 10:36Speaker 1: in East Harlem, in this something called La Marquette or something.
- 10:39Speaker 1: It's a sort of a little court with a lot
- 10:42Speaker 1: of shops, really dumpy looking. The city owns it. There's
- 10:49Speaker 1: if you're going to put the supermarket there. If the
- 10:51Speaker 1: city's gonna put a supermarket, it will have no rent,
- 10:54Speaker 1: no taxes, no expense, simple thing to open. And I
- 10:59Speaker 1: think about that. You have to pay no taxes, no rent, nothing,
- 11:03Speaker 1: You don't have to worry about permits, you don't have
- 11:04Speaker 1: to worry about any of that. It's going to cost
- 11:08Speaker 1: thirty million dollars thirty million. Now, remember telling you yesterday.
- 11:14Speaker 1: When you build a supermarket and put a supermarket in somewhere,
- 11:18Speaker 1: you know, you buy a store or a big space
- 11:20Speaker 1: and you put a super it costs one million, maybe
- 11:23Speaker 1: two million. If you went all out and went crazy
- 11:25Speaker 1: spending money, it would cost you three million. The supermarket
- 11:30Speaker 1: chain all the big supermarket chain in America. They just
- 11:32Speaker 1: came into Manhattan to build a supermarket and they built
- 11:35Speaker 1: a really I mean fancy, way beyond, way beyond what
- 11:39Speaker 1: Mam Donnie was talking about. They built a real serious,
- 11:43Speaker 1: very very very high end supermarket. You know what, it
- 11:45Speaker 1: costs three million? It's three million, and that's what paying
- 11:50Speaker 1: tax is, paying rent and paying for permits, paying for lobbyists,
- 11:53Speaker 1: paying for a three million So how on earth could
- 11:57Speaker 1: this cost thirty million? And this is not going to
- 11:59Speaker 1: look like this is not going to look like Wegmans,
- 12:02Speaker 1: This is not going to look like Morton Williams. This
- 12:04Speaker 1: is going to be a real plain dump. How the
- 12:09Speaker 1: hell could it be thirty million dollars? So it should
- 12:13Speaker 1: be about one million. Really, actually it should be about
- 12:15Speaker 1: seven hundred thousand, since they'll pay no rent, no taxes,
- 12:18Speaker 1: no any But let's say it costs a million, where's
- 12:20Speaker 1: the other twenty nine million going? Now? It could be
- 12:25Speaker 1: that this guy is just totally corrupt and he's a
- 12:27Speaker 1: real sleeve ball politician. But he looks just like an awful,
- 12:32Speaker 1: terrible guy. But he doesn't look corrupt. He's from a
- 12:35Speaker 1: wealthy family. He's never been too interested in material things.
- 12:39Speaker 1: I don't think he's corrupt. It could just be contracts
- 12:42Speaker 1: you're going to hand out to fellow Democrats. You know
- 12:46Speaker 1: one reason that these two reasons the politicians hand out
- 12:49Speaker 1: these contracts. If something you know, like that Kennedy Airport
- 12:53Speaker 1: or the Guardi Airport terminal cost twenty billion one terminal,
- 12:57Speaker 1: it should have cost one billion, it costs billion, where'd
- 13:01Speaker 1: the other nineteen billion go? Well, you hand out contracts
- 13:04Speaker 1: to a lots of people, lots of Now, there's two
- 13:08Speaker 1: reasons you hand him out. Most of the time, it's
- 13:11Speaker 1: to get donations. You give out these big contracts of
- 13:14Speaker 1: these contractors and unions and all that, and in exchange,
- 13:19Speaker 1: they donate massive amounts of money to your campaign or
- 13:23Speaker 1: your political pack. Sometimes it's corruption you get a little
- 13:27Speaker 1: kickback out of it, but usually it's just for So
- 13:29Speaker 1: it could be that's what mom Donnie's doing. He wants
- 13:32Speaker 1: to run again, wants to get reelected, and by handing
- 13:36Speaker 1: out twenty nine million in contracts that you don't even
- 13:39Speaker 1: need to hand out, he could put together an incredible
- 13:43Speaker 1: war chest. So then they're talking about taxing the rich
- 13:47Speaker 1: even more. Right now, the rich pays all the taxes,
- 13:49Speaker 1: not all, but we have what kind of all of it?
- 13:52Speaker 1: The top one percent pays like a forty eight percent
- 13:55Speaker 1: of the tax. The top ten percent pays ninety two
- 13:58Speaker 1: percent of the tax. Right now, wealthy, the real rich,
- 14:01Speaker 1: pay most of the taxes, most of the taxes. No,
- 14:05Speaker 1: Mam Donni wants to charge him even more. He and
- 14:08Speaker 1: Hokel have come up with this pieta tear tax. That means,
- 14:10Speaker 1: if you're very wealthy, you live somewhere else, but you
- 14:13Speaker 1: decide I'll have an apartment in New York too, and
- 14:16Speaker 1: you buy yourself a big, beautiful apartment just to use
- 14:18Speaker 1: when you come into New York. They want to tax
- 14:21Speaker 1: the hell out of you. It's absolutely insane. The problem is, Hochel, mom, Donnie,
- 14:31Speaker 1: really stupid when it comes to anything to do with money, business, management, finances.
- 14:35Speaker 1: There's a simple rule, our greatest economist, Art Laugher simple rule.
- 14:41Speaker 1: If you tax something more, you get less of it.
- 14:44Speaker 1: So if you want less of something, just tax it more. So,
- 14:47Speaker 1: if you tax the wealthy on buying New York apartments,
- 14:50Speaker 1: they'll just stop buying New York apartments. You'll get less
- 14:53Speaker 1: of it. Hochel, you know they got this budget gap
- 14:57Speaker 1: because the budget is it's like ten million percent more
- 15:01Speaker 1: than it should be. You just cut the budget in half.
- 15:03Speaker 1: It's easy to do. But they can't figure that out,
- 15:06Speaker 1: so they keep trying to raise money. She's got this
- 15:08Speaker 1: a dumb pieta tear at tax.
- 15:10Speaker 5: It is not a tax on residence that is so important.
- 15:13Speaker 5: We're talking about people who are ultra wealthy. I mean
- 15:18Speaker 5: there are literally Russian oligarchs buying up properties, driving up
- 15:23Speaker 5: the property values. As I've said, I'm clearly not entertaining
- 15:27Speaker 5: income taxes or corporate taxes.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Full stop, yeah, full stop again, you'll get less of it. Now,
- 15:34Speaker 1: what happens, First of all, if these oligarchs come in
- 15:37Speaker 1: here and buy these apartments, and when they say pieta tear,
- 15:40Speaker 1: it's not a three hundred thousand dollars. Some of these
- 15:43Speaker 1: like they're right over there, fifty seven Street billionaires roll
- 15:46Speaker 1: they'll buy a place there eighty million just for their
- 15:50Speaker 1: New York apartment, just a pieta tear eighty million. So
- 15:55Speaker 1: the property tax on that is probably two million a year.
- 15:58Speaker 1: They're paying two million a year in property. And if
- 16:01Speaker 1: they do come here every soft, what do you think
- 16:02Speaker 1: they do when they're here. What do you think the
- 16:05Speaker 1: Russian oligarch does when he comes to his New York
- 16:07Speaker 1: City apartment. I think he just sits in there and
- 16:08Speaker 1: watches TV all day. Now he goes out and he
- 16:11Speaker 1: spends a fortune. They spend a fortune in stores, in restaurants,
- 16:17Speaker 1: or run around New York spending money like crazy. You
- 16:20Speaker 1: don't want him to stop coming here, mom, Donnie.
- 16:24Speaker 6: Our vision is that everyone stays in the city and
- 16:26Speaker 6: that we have room for others to join us. What
- 16:29Speaker 6: we often speak about is that the revenue that we
- 16:33Speaker 6: would use from this increased taxation, it is to increase
- 16:37Speaker 6: the quality of life of the same city that we
- 16:39Speaker 6: all call home.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Brilliant, It sounds brilliant. Everything he's saying is completely insane.
- 16:44Speaker 1: But if you speak like he does, and you speak slowly,
- 16:49Speaker 1: and he thinks things like what we speak about here,
- 16:52Speaker 1: and if you talk like this, you see how much
- 16:54Speaker 1: smarter I can sound if I talk like him, if
- 16:58Speaker 1: you sound like you are being very thoughtful. Meantime, everything
- 17:02Speaker 1: he said is complete crap. It doesn't make any sense,
- 17:06Speaker 1: it doesn't work. But when he talks like this, it
- 17:10Speaker 1: certainly sounds like he is smart. Anyway, we'll take some
- 17:15Speaker 1: calls in a minute. Eight hundred three two one zero
- 17:18Speaker 1: seven ten is the number. Hey, we got one of
- 17:20Speaker 1: the greatest economists in the world coming up in a
- 17:21Speaker 1: few minutes. We'll ask him about this stupid tax and
- 17:25Speaker 1: what it actually will do. But give me a call.
- 17:27Speaker 1: We'll take some calls next one eight hundred three two
- 17:30Speaker 1: one zero seven ten.
- 17:33Speaker 2: Give woor o bre said on the iHeartRadio app to
- 17:36Speaker 2: hear marximone and all the WR hosts in an instance.
- 17:41Speaker 2: Now back to the Mark Simo show on wor.
- 17:46Speaker 1: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Dave in Chicago. Dave,
- 17:49Speaker 1: how you doing.
- 17:51Speaker 7: Good morning, Mark, I'm doing very well.
- 17:53Speaker 8: Thank you.
- 17:54Speaker 9: Mark.
- 17:54Speaker 10: Two questions, please, well, artificial intelligence have a positive effect
- 17:59Speaker 10: on the twenty twenty presidential election to Republicans? And lastly,
- 18:04Speaker 10: do you believe that Elon mush will play a pivotal
- 18:07Speaker 10: role for the Republican Party?
- 18:09Speaker 1: Yes, absolutely, even if it's just through donations. Remember he
- 18:12Speaker 1: can just like that donate a quarter of a billion dollars.
- 18:16Speaker 1: He has before. What was the first part AI of
- 18:19Speaker 1: affecting who knows? Who knows? Who knows what AI will affect?
- 18:24Speaker 1: But Musk very important, Maje. Your major. You're probably the
- 18:27Speaker 1: biggest political donor in the world. Let's go to Cathy
- 18:31Speaker 1: in North Carolina. Cathy, how you doing.
- 18:34Speaker 11: Morning, Mark? Yeah, a VEG. That makes me super happy.
- 18:39Speaker 7: Okay.
- 18:40Speaker 11: What doesn't make me happy is I wanted to follow
- 18:42Speaker 11: up on a story from last week. I don't know
- 18:44Speaker 11: how much anybody said about it other than me. Bought
- 18:48Speaker 11: the Lucy Arnez post and it's just really deeply troubled me.
- 18:53Speaker 11: And I really want to know from you, like, is
- 18:57Speaker 11: how is this not possible that she's not getting a
- 18:59Speaker 11: visit from the FBI? I mean, I don't I know
- 19:02Speaker 11: you're not a lawyer, but how is it possible somebody
- 19:05Speaker 11: could write something so amazing?
- 19:09Speaker 1: Well, let me just explain for those that don't know.
- 19:10Speaker 1: We like Lucy Arnie. She's a nice person. She's a
- 19:13Speaker 1: talented person, you know Churs, Lucy o'ball's daughter. But she's
- 19:18Speaker 1: an absolute insane idiot when it comes to politics, as
- 19:22Speaker 1: many of those Hollywood left wing people are, and she
- 19:25Speaker 1: posts the most awful, evil, disgusting stuff about Donald Trump,
- 19:30Speaker 1: and it's they all do that in Hollywood. They're just crazy.
- 19:34Speaker 1: She could always you can't really charge it because she
- 19:36Speaker 1: could always plead insanity to do.
- 19:39Speaker 11: Yeah, but it wasn't just it wasn't it was. It
- 19:42Speaker 11: was appalling what she accused him of. It's not just
- 19:45Speaker 11: that you can say I hate him, he as orange
- 19:47Speaker 11: hair or whatever. But she put things in there, accusing
- 19:51Speaker 11: of doing like awful, awful illegal stuff.
- 19:55Speaker 1: Well, actually, well you would have it. You could if
- 19:58Speaker 1: you wanted it. You're not gonna bother with her, but
- 19:59Speaker 1: you could sewer for slander. She accused him of shooting
- 20:02Speaker 1: babies in the head for his sexual gratification. She accused
- 20:06Speaker 1: him of a raping young boy. I mean, it was
- 20:08Speaker 1: just insane stuff.
- 20:09Speaker 11: But okay, so no follow up with it at all.
- 20:12Speaker 11: You don't know if he if anybody's going to do anything.
- 20:15Speaker 1: Or I'm just she's not worth doing anything about it.
- 20:18Speaker 1: I mean it's two I mean it was George Stephanopolis
- 20:21Speaker 1: on the Sunday Show You Go after him, and ABC
- 20:24Speaker 1: did have to pay a lot of money to settle.
- 20:26Speaker 12: That for sixty minutes.
- 20:29Speaker 1: What are you going to get out of Lucy Arne's
- 20:31Speaker 1: a dollar fifty.
- 20:32Speaker 11: I mean that's worth the You can make an example
- 20:35Speaker 11: of her, That's what I'm saying.
- 20:37Speaker 1: More too insignificant. You'd make her the biggest star in
- 20:40Speaker 1: the world all over again. I understand your frustration, but
- 20:44Speaker 1: thank you justin more, thanks for Colin. Let's go to
- 20:48Speaker 1: Terry in Pennsylvania. Terry, how you doing?
- 20:51Speaker 13: Hey, Mark Great? How are you?
- 20:53Speaker 1: I'm good?
- 20:54Speaker 7: Okay.
- 20:55Speaker 13: So my question is do you know anything about the
- 20:58Speaker 13: story that the Pope had a meeting with David Axelrod.
- 21:03Speaker 1: Yes, that's true, that's true, it's true.
- 21:05Speaker 13: But why nothing? I've never heard anything about it.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Uh, you know, I don't know David Axelrod. He's the top, top,
- 21:12Speaker 1: top Democratic operative, very close to Obama, and he's a
- 21:19Speaker 1: very smart guy, Democrat, but very smart. If you want
- 21:23Speaker 1: good political advice, I don't know. Axlrod might have sought
- 21:26Speaker 1: out the meeting. Remember all these guys make a fortune
- 21:30Speaker 1: lobbying and getting things done for people. He may have
- 21:32Speaker 1: wanted to get stuff done with the Vatican, so it
- 21:35Speaker 1: might be Axelrod pushing it. But also, if you want
- 21:37Speaker 1: a good political advice, you're in a fight with the
- 21:39Speaker 1: President of United States and you needed some guidance. If
- 21:43Speaker 1: you were a left wing guy, Axlrod would be the
- 21:45Speaker 1: guy you go to.
- 21:46Speaker 12: He's good for this all this come down after his meeting,
- 21:52Speaker 12: and I'm not sure about that, but if that's the case, yeah,
- 21:54Speaker 12: maybe axl Rod advised him to go after.
- 21:56Speaker 11: The That's because people are wondering why attacking the pope,
- 22:00Speaker 11: but Trump they know about the meeting and.
- 22:04Speaker 13: How you know.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Yeah, you're right, we got to make more of that.
- 22:06Speaker 1: The fact that a inside Democratic operative is having secret
- 22:10Speaker 1: meetings with the Pope might mean.
- 22:12Speaker 7: Directly exactly not Catholics.
- 22:14Speaker 12: He's not Catholic, He's not you know, a very good point.
- 22:18Speaker 1: Excellent point. And maybe they're using the Pope to influence
- 22:21Speaker 1: the midterms. Very good point.
- 22:24Speaker 13: And also they're all from Chicago.
- 22:26Speaker 1: Oh that's true. Yeah, Axel R's probably an old friend
- 22:29Speaker 1: of this Pope's. That's probably how you got the meeting.
- 22:31Speaker 11: One thing, one more thing, okay.
- 22:32Speaker 13: And also three cardinals were on sixty minutes after all
- 22:36Speaker 13: this too. Yeah, so it seems to me like there's
- 22:40Speaker 13: something going on.
- 22:41Speaker 1: Yeah, but the good news is these Democrats come up
- 22:44Speaker 1: with these schemes that never work, and they don't realize
- 22:47Speaker 1: you tried this before and it didn't work. But remember
- 22:50Speaker 1: twenty sixteen, he got into a fight with Pope Branches.
- 22:54Speaker 1: You tried to take him out with that pope fight
- 22:56Speaker 1: and it didn't work. That's like sixty minutes. They'll have
- 22:59Speaker 1: three cardinals on to discuss the president going after the pope.
- 23:03Speaker 1: This is unheard of. We can't believe. How could he
- 23:05Speaker 1: go after the pope? This is unbelievable. They forget to mention,
- 23:08Speaker 1: you know, he did this ten years ago and it
- 23:10Speaker 1: didn't mean anything. It's just normal business as usual, Donald Trump.
- 23:14Speaker 1: It's outrageous. It's this, it's it's the Howard Stern side
- 23:18Speaker 1: of them. But in this case he was right. Pope
- 23:20Speaker 1: had no business wading into this political issue and saying
- 23:24Speaker 1: you can't. Nobody could ever go to a war against
- 23:27Speaker 1: an evil dictatorship, terrorist crazy. Hey, when we come back,
- 23:32Speaker 1: the great economist Steve Moore, what about these crazy taxes
- 23:36Speaker 1: these Democrats are trying to do. We'll get to that
- 23:38Speaker 1: next on seven to ten. Wor mister New York Marximone.
- 23:45Speaker 2: Wr Well.
- 23:47Speaker 1: The great economist Steve Moore, also a best selling author.
- 23:51Speaker 1: Make sure you get his book, The Trump Economic Miracle,
- 23:54Speaker 1: You'll love it. And he runs the Committee to Unleash Prosperity.
- 23:58Speaker 1: They put out the best daily briefing news analysis called
- 24:02Speaker 1: the Hotline. It's free, it'll come write to your email. Just
- 24:04Speaker 1: go to unleash prosperity dot com and sign up. Unleash
- 24:08Speaker 1: prosperity dot com. Steve Moore, how you doing.
- 24:12Speaker 7: Hey, Marko. I'm doing very well. Did you get your
- 24:14Speaker 7: taxes done on time?
- 24:16Speaker 1: Yes? And looks a lot better this year. Everybody's going
- 24:19Speaker 1: to be very happy, right this.
- 24:20Speaker 7: Year, Well they should be. I mean, well, nobody's happy
- 24:23Speaker 7: about paying their tax office.
- 24:24Speaker 1: But it is.
- 24:26Speaker 7: There was relief for people, and the media has really
- 24:30Speaker 7: downplayed that. But especially by the way, for working class people.
- 24:34Speaker 7: If you're a tipped worker, you did really well. If
- 24:36Speaker 7: you're if you have overtime, you do really well. And
- 24:40Speaker 7: so it's, uh, it's surprising how many people have come
- 24:43Speaker 7: up to me and said, oh, I got a nice
- 24:45Speaker 7: reefund this year. So this was something that would not
- 24:48Speaker 7: have happened without uh, without Trump.
- 24:50Speaker 8: You know.
- 24:51Speaker 7: I was on Believe It or Not CNN the other night,
- 24:53Speaker 7: UH and debating this commress woman from the Seattle area,
- 24:58Speaker 7: and she kept referring to the Trump tax cut Marcus,
- 25:01Speaker 7: the big ugly bill that's their like, you know, the
- 25:03Speaker 7: big ugly bill. And I said, well, this is so ugly.
- 25:05Speaker 7: You know, why is it the average family saving twy
- 25:08Speaker 7: two hundred dollars on their taxes this year, And if
- 25:11Speaker 7: we had your way, congress Woman, they would have paid it,
- 25:14Speaker 7: paid a twenty two hundred dollars tax increase. And of
- 25:16Speaker 7: course she didn't respond to that.
- 25:18Speaker 1: Well, hey, but for them it is ugly. It cuts taxes. Oh,
- 25:21Speaker 1: they don't like to see.
- 25:22Speaker 7: That, exactly. They hate that.
- 25:25Speaker 14: Uh.
- 25:25Speaker 7: And of course, you know, you know, Seattle has some
- 25:27Speaker 7: of the highest taxes in the country. And and so
- 25:30Speaker 7: we're seeing a reel by the way, a real implosion
- 25:34Speaker 7: of these blue states because they just keep raising taxes
- 25:37Speaker 7: over and over again. And I just saw something on
- 25:39Speaker 7: Fox News that Kathy Oakle said, well maybe we will
- 25:42Speaker 7: do you know, a tax on, an extra five percent
- 25:45Speaker 7: tax on people will make over fifty five million dollars
- 25:48Speaker 7: like they're going to be they're going to be paying,
- 25:50Speaker 7: you know, sixteen percent income tax in New York and
- 25:55Speaker 7: they can move to Florida or Texas pays zero. They
- 25:58Speaker 7: can reduce their tax live by millions and millions of
- 26:01Speaker 7: dollars by just getting out of New York. And the
- 26:04Speaker 7: same thing in New Jersey. And I know you maybe
- 26:06Speaker 7: people in Connecticut. I mean, the tax are so high
- 26:08Speaker 7: there that why would people say and a lot of
- 26:11Speaker 7: them are leaving.
- 26:12Speaker 1: Hey, let me ask you something else. This is crazy,
- 26:14Speaker 1: Kathy hochles. She's now proposing a pieta tear at tax
- 26:19Speaker 1: if you happen to keep an apartment in New York.
- 26:21Speaker 1: She wants like a super tax on that. Is that
- 26:23Speaker 1: the most ridiculous thing you've ever heard?
- 26:25Speaker 7: Wait say this again. She's going to do what.
- 26:27Speaker 1: It's called a pieta tear tax. In other words, if
- 26:29Speaker 1: you live somewhere else, but you have an apartment in
- 26:32Speaker 1: New York, an extra apartment that you keep in New York,
- 26:34Speaker 1: she wants to tax the hell out of it.
- 26:37Speaker 7: It's oh, well, that's just going to mean that instead
- 26:39Speaker 7: of paying, you know, spending one hundred and eighty three
- 26:42Speaker 7: days a year in you know, stay Florida in one
- 26:45Speaker 7: hundred and eighty days and New York. Now these people
- 26:47Speaker 7: will pay play, you know, spend zero days in New York.
- 26:50Speaker 7: I mean, they're chasing people out of the state and
- 26:53Speaker 7: in the city. I don't I really don't understand the
- 26:56Speaker 7: logic of this. You know, Mark, you and I know
- 26:58Speaker 7: out Laugher very well. And the economic principle is so simple.
- 27:03Speaker 7: It's just if you tax something, you get less of it,
- 27:06Speaker 7: and if you tax something less, you get more of it.
- 27:08Speaker 7: So if you want people to come back to New York,
- 27:10Speaker 7: do you think the way to do that is apply
- 27:12Speaker 7: more taxes.
- 27:13Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't think they understand. She was yelling about
- 27:16Speaker 1: it's Russian oligarchs. The well, what does she think they
- 27:19Speaker 1: do when they get here. They go to a restaurants,
- 27:21Speaker 1: they go to stores, they spend You ever watch them,
- 27:22Speaker 1: They spend a fortune everywhere.
- 27:25Speaker 7: It's it's the it's the it's the grease that makes
- 27:30Speaker 7: the city work. Is that, you know, you get tourists
- 27:32Speaker 7: all over the place, You get people to spend a
- 27:34Speaker 7: few months there, and you know, the nice time of
- 27:36Speaker 7: the year. And look, I like New York City. I
- 27:39Speaker 7: lived there for several years when I was working at
- 27:41Speaker 7: the Wall Street Journal. It's one of the greatest cities
- 27:44Speaker 7: in the world. But it's just being ruined by these
- 27:46Speaker 7: crazy things. But I'm very pleased to say that at
- 27:48Speaker 7: least now you can go to a government owned grocery store.
- 27:52Speaker 1: Now, let me ask you something. This guy, this mom Donnie,
- 27:55Speaker 1: is supposed to be a brilliant educated Every grocery store
- 27:59Speaker 1: that ought opens, the top chains come in. When they
- 28:01Speaker 1: open a grocery store, they tell us it's one million
- 28:04Speaker 1: to three million to open. And this is a high
- 28:06Speaker 1: end grocery store. His thing is going to be a
- 28:08Speaker 1: dump in the middle of nowhere. And he says it's
- 28:10Speaker 1: going to cost thirty million. How could he be dumb
- 28:13Speaker 1: enough that, I mean, every other grocery store is three million.
- 28:17Speaker 1: How's his thirty?
- 28:19Speaker 7: Yeah? And you know you and I are friends with
- 28:22Speaker 7: John Katzimatitis, who owns grocery stores. Why did you just
- 28:25Speaker 7: contract out with John katz and Matiti? You can do
- 28:28Speaker 7: it in the faction of the costs.
- 28:29Speaker 8: That the government bureaucrats can't.
- 28:31Speaker 7: And I guarantee you. I give these grocery stores maybe
- 28:34Speaker 7: eighteen months and then that this didn't work so well.
- 28:37Speaker 7: Maybe the government isn't too good at running retail stores.
- 28:40Speaker 7: They don't do anything else very well. By the way,
- 28:42Speaker 7: are the checkout lines that those grocery stores going to
- 28:45Speaker 7: be long as they don't get in? Your Department of
- 28:48Speaker 7: over Vehicles license renewed?
- 28:50Speaker 1: Yeah? Hey, didn't we have this problem solved a million
- 28:53Speaker 1: years ago? If you wanted. People can't afford food. How
- 28:56Speaker 1: do you get them free food? You give them food stamps.
- 28:59Speaker 1: Why don't we just go back to that then't go
- 29:01Speaker 1: to any grocery store. Wouldn't that well accomplished the same.
- 29:04Speaker 7: Thing, because you don't understand. It's these terrible immigrants who
- 29:08Speaker 7: come in and they start these little grocery stores and
- 29:10Speaker 7: they're just ripping people off. You know, that's that's why
- 29:13Speaker 7: we need the government.
- 29:14Speaker 1: To do it. Yeah, Hey, the California governor's race with
- 29:18Speaker 1: swallwell out, Tom tom Steier rises up the billionaire climate.
- 29:23Speaker 1: Tell us about Tom Steier? Do we would he be
- 29:26Speaker 1: a disaster?
- 29:27Speaker 7: The med news is that, you know, we had an
- 29:29Speaker 7: item in our outline on this today because the fact
- 29:31Speaker 7: that Swallow, by the way, I love these Fox News
- 29:34Speaker 7: you know they're doing these exposes on on Swallow and
- 29:39Speaker 7: how all these Democrats over the years always the most
- 29:42Speaker 7: wonderful person. I mean, he's a great, great American and
- 29:45Speaker 7: he's the face of our party. Now they're running for
- 29:48Speaker 7: the for the high Grass. But it's amazing how he
- 29:53Speaker 7: duped so many people in the Democratic Party, uh saying
- 29:57Speaker 7: how wonderful he was. But now it's thrown at the
- 29:59Speaker 7: kel Fornia governor's race way wide open, and you can
- 30:02Speaker 7: make the case that other than the presidential race, that
- 30:05Speaker 7: you know, the second most important, you know, political race
- 30:08Speaker 7: in the country is probably governor of California. And now
- 30:11Speaker 7: the Democrats are left without a candidate except Tom Steyer,
- 30:14Speaker 7: who's a lunatic climate change billionaire. And so, but I
- 30:19Speaker 7: think what's gonna By the way, let me say something
- 30:21Speaker 7: else that Steve Hilton, you know who people know from
- 30:25Speaker 7: Fox News smart. I was out there in La a
- 30:28Speaker 7: few weeks ago. He gave a speech in front of
- 30:32Speaker 7: four hundred people, and I spoke there and some others
- 30:34Speaker 7: said he has an outstanding agenda. I mean, if they
- 30:37Speaker 7: were to elect somebody with like Steve Hilton, California could
- 30:42Speaker 7: turn around over overnight.
- 30:44Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a you know, you look at state's Texas, Florida.
- 30:47Speaker 1: You just get rid of the income tax, you get
- 30:49Speaker 1: rid of this this, and all of a sudden the
- 30:51Speaker 1: place is booming. The only problem you have is everybody
- 30:53Speaker 1: wants to move in. How come Democrats can't figure that out?
- 30:56Speaker 7: Well, that would be a yeah, I mean Florida. You know,
- 30:58Speaker 7: we had a tune in our hotline a few weeks ago,
- 31:02Speaker 7: he said, you know when you get on ninety five
- 31:04Speaker 7: and you go through Georgia into Florida, where you see
- 31:06Speaker 7: the big sign that says welcome to Florida, and it
- 31:09Speaker 7: says working in Florida, and that says no vacancy.
- 31:14Speaker 1: I like that.
- 31:15Speaker 7: So any way, the income tax, just to remind people,
- 31:18Speaker 7: I think most people know this, the income tax. Do
- 31:20Speaker 7: you know what the income tax rate in Florida is?
- 31:23Speaker 1: State tax?
- 31:25Speaker 7: The state income tax zero? I think zero exactly. So
- 31:31Speaker 7: you because they have a lot of money, you can
- 31:33Speaker 7: either pay sixteen percent in New York or zero in Florida.
- 31:38Speaker 1: Well, you got Bruce Blakeman running for governor. He would
- 31:40Speaker 1: be a great governor, very very common the guy.
- 31:43Speaker 7: I've been watching him in Fox. I really I think
- 31:45Speaker 7: he's an adult in the room, and I think he
- 31:48Speaker 7: would be so fantastic. I go back to, you know,
- 31:52Speaker 7: when George Pataki was governor in New York. George is
- 31:55Speaker 7: a good friend of mine. I'm a big fan of his,
- 31:58Speaker 7: and boy did he help turn around the state, just
- 32:00Speaker 7: like Rudy Giuliani say, turned around the city. It doesn't
- 32:03Speaker 7: take much. It's not that hard, you know, just be
- 32:07Speaker 7: common sensical and do the things that are smart. But
- 32:11Speaker 7: these people like Mondaminian Hoko, they just won't do it.
- 32:14Speaker 7: They're so ideological. I don't get it. They're not common
- 32:17Speaker 7: sense democrats.
- 32:18Speaker 1: And Democrats were very upset. Yesterday the S and P
- 32:21Speaker 1: five hundred hit the all time high record high. Amazing.
- 32:25Speaker 1: How did that happen so fast? That's pretty Yeah.
- 32:28Speaker 7: And you know why that's a great story is because
- 32:30Speaker 7: the S and P five hundred none like the Dow,
- 32:31Speaker 7: which is just like the thirty biggest companies. The SMP
- 32:34Speaker 7: five hundred is five hundred mostly small medium sized businesses,
- 32:38Speaker 7: and their value keeps going up because Trump is pro growth.
- 32:41Speaker 7: He's pro America's pro business, and you've got to be
- 32:44Speaker 7: If you want to be pro worker, you got to
- 32:46Speaker 7: be pro business.
- 32:47Speaker 1: Yeah, amazing story. Of course I noticed on the Network
- 32:50Speaker 1: news it was like the twenty seventh story into the newscast.
- 32:53Speaker 1: They didn't want to open with that essence.
- 32:55Speaker 7: Well, I was even shocked by it, because you know,
- 32:57Speaker 7: I just learned that this morning. I said, gee, I
- 32:59Speaker 7: didn't see that on the news.
- 33:02Speaker 1: Well, Steve Moore, great stuff, and everybody should get your book.
- 33:06Speaker 1: I love the book, The Trump Economic miracle. He gave
- 33:09Speaker 1: you the title, right, that was his title.
- 33:10Speaker 7: Yeah, Donald Trump had the title, and we're going to
- 33:12Speaker 7: get back to that. I know these this has been
- 33:14Speaker 7: a tough patch for the economy. But when we get
- 33:16Speaker 7: the straight open and we get a victorious settlement there
- 33:20Speaker 7: in Iran, I think we're going to be right back
- 33:22Speaker 7: on the on the Trump economic miracle path.
- 33:25Speaker 1: Well, everybody get the book. And the most important thing,
- 33:27Speaker 1: you got to sign up for the daily Hotline. It's
- 33:29Speaker 1: the best news and analysis. Steve Moore, you do a
- 33:32Speaker 1: great job putting that together every day and it's free.
- 33:36Speaker 1: Just go to Unleash Prosperity dot com. Unleash Prosperity dot com.
- 33:40Speaker 1: Of course we'll see all over television. And Steve Moore,
- 33:44Speaker 1: thanks for being with us.
- 33:45Speaker 7: Thank you, Mark, Take care all.
- 33:46Speaker 1: Right, take care hey. Coming up noon today it's Buck

- 34:00Speaker 1: Cush Shawn Hennity. Every night at six it's Jesse Kelly,
- 34:03Speaker 1: and now every night at nine it's Jimmy Failed excellent,
- 34:07Speaker 1: very funny, show every night at nine. In fact, he'll
- 34:10Speaker 1: be with us in the next hour here on seven
- 34:12Speaker 1: to ten WR.
- 34:14Speaker 2: It's the Mark Simoon Show on seven TENR.
- 34:20Speaker 1: Hey, eighty degrees right now, heading up forwards ninety Let
- 34:25Speaker 1: me see, Yeah, it'll be ninety at two pm. Ninety
- 34:28Speaker 1: degrees today and then back to normal tomorrow. The hi
- 34:32Speaker 1: will only be about eighty. Then it goes into the sixties.
- 34:35Speaker 1: And look at this Monday, forty eight degrees. So they
- 34:41Speaker 1: say about New York. You don't like the weather. Wait
- 34:43Speaker 1: ten minutes, but ninety degrees today, so enjoy it. One
- 34:49Speaker 1: more summer preview day. So elon Omar says to Republicans,
- 34:56Speaker 1: please investigate me. Investigate what you want. I'm not afraid
- 35:00Speaker 1: of any investigation, says The probes against her are nothing
- 35:04Speaker 1: but clout chasing. I don't know what that means, but
- 35:08Speaker 1: she says, go ahead, go ahead and investigate me. Make
- 35:12Speaker 1: her day. Well. People have tried that tact before, and
- 35:16Speaker 1: it always ends up badly for them. CBS announcing the
- 35:19Speaker 1: fall schedule twenty six twenty seven season. They still have
- 35:25Speaker 1: TV seasons. Believe it or not. Nobody pays much attention
- 35:28Speaker 1: to this anymore, but nobody watches Network TV anymore. But
- 35:33Speaker 1: let's see Ghosts. Matt Locke come back. Ooh, Boston Blue renewed.
- 35:38Speaker 1: That's the spinoff from Blue Bloods. Boston Blue will be back,
- 35:41Speaker 1: got renewed for another season. Fire Country is back. Country
- 35:47Speaker 1: is a fire county or fire country? Fire Country? I
- 35:49Speaker 1: think I don't know what the hell it is, but
- 35:51Speaker 1: it's always on TV. It's on reruns all day and night.
- 35:56Speaker 1: Nc Oh, there's a new NCIS coming.
- 36:00Speaker 8: New York.
- 36:02Speaker 1: Will Mark ll cool Jay's return to the franchise NCIS
- 36:07Speaker 1: New York. Well, you wouldn't have thought of that first.
- 36:10Speaker 1: That's like the last one to come along. But that
- 36:13Speaker 1: will be on next season. Hey, we'll get to Live
- 36:16Speaker 1: Nation in the next hour. They got a big loss
- 36:20Speaker 1: in the court yesterday. It's about concert prices, ticket prices
- 36:24Speaker 1: which have been preposterous. Hey, also, that's Santa Con. You know,
- 36:29Speaker 1: ever you get the Santa Con turns out that it's
- 36:31Speaker 1: like a Santa con con. The guy that puts it
- 36:34Speaker 1: all together accused of taking all the money it's supposed
- 36:38Speaker 1: to be for charity. Apparently only a small percentage gets
- 36:41Speaker 1: to the charity, and he's being accused of spending hundreds
- 36:44Speaker 1: and hundreds and hundreds of thousands of dollars on houses, vacations,
- 36:47Speaker 1: that kind of stuff. So anyway, we've got a lot
- 36:50Speaker 1: to get to in the next hour. Jimmy Fayala will
- 36:52Speaker 1: be with us. And don't forget I'm here every day
- 36:54Speaker 1: ten to noon, or you can listen anytime you want.
- 36:58Speaker 1: Just get the podcast wherever you get your podcasts. I'll
- 37:01Speaker 1: be back right after the news here on seven to
- 37:03Speaker 1: ten wo on.
- 37:06Speaker 2: Sevent ten WR. She's more of the marks Emosia.
- 37:12Speaker 1: Hey, a steamy, beautiful ninety degree day today. So here
- 37:17Speaker 1: in New York City, the Doorman's Union, it's more than
- 37:21Speaker 1: the doorman what did she call them on the news
- 37:24Speaker 1: door professionals. Well, they actually are. Now if you're live
- 37:28Speaker 1: in the suburbs and you don't you know, you have
- 37:31Speaker 1: to have a doorman for you can't open your own door.
- 37:32Speaker 1: It's more than that. The doormen really kind of run
- 37:35Speaker 1: the building. I mean they're guarding the door, their security,
- 37:39Speaker 1: they take care of everything for people. They do a
- 37:41Speaker 1: lot of stuff. And it's not just doorman, it's all
- 37:45Speaker 1: the building people you know in most right over there
- 37:48Speaker 1: and all those buildings outside the window over there. You
- 37:50Speaker 1: got a doorman, you got a guy behind the desk,
- 37:53Speaker 1: the front desk, you got a concierge, you got porters,
- 37:56Speaker 1: you got maintenance people, you got people that run the
- 37:59Speaker 1: service entrance. You've got all sorts of stuff. Would all
- 38:03Speaker 1: go on strike. This affects thirty three hundred buildings and
- 38:09Speaker 1: one point five million residents and it's the union is
- 38:15Speaker 1: thirty two b J. They voted last night to authorize
- 38:20Speaker 1: a strike. That doesn't mean they'll go on strike. The
- 38:22Speaker 1: deadline is Monday night, so they're negotiating. The fight is
- 38:26Speaker 1: about full coverage of healthcare, that kind of stuff, you know,
- 38:35Speaker 1: So it could be Monday night if it happens, better pension,
- 38:39Speaker 1: fight for wage hikes, for healthcare to continue to be
- 38:42Speaker 1: covered at one hundred percent. So we'll see what happens.
- 38:45Speaker 1: They authorized the strike last night, they'll keep negotiating. Hopefully
- 38:48Speaker 1: it'll get settled before Monday. Mayor Mamdani and City Council
- 38:55Speaker 1: Speaker Julie Menin other elected officials are expected to appear
- 38:58Speaker 1: at the rally in support of the doormen and the
- 39:02Speaker 1: building workers. Thirty four thousand of them would walk off
- 39:06Speaker 1: the job, so they got the mayor behind them, They
- 39:08Speaker 1: got the city council speaker behind them. So it's funny
- 39:12Speaker 1: how it's the mayor who wants to terrorize everybody living
- 39:16Speaker 1: in the buildings, tax and the death. But we'll be
- 39:18Speaker 1: marching with the doormen. But that's good. That's good that
- 39:21Speaker 1: they're supporting them. So we'll see what happens. President Trump
- 39:26Speaker 1: going to Las Vegas today. One of the things they're
- 39:29Speaker 1: gonna be talking about is it's a great thing. Anyway,
- 39:32Speaker 1: this wasn't thought of before, but he eliminated the tax
- 39:35Speaker 1: on tips. You know, if your service industry, restaurant, waiter, waitress,
- 39:41Speaker 1: that kind of sta bartend, a lot of your income
- 39:43Speaker 1: is tips. So to have the tax eliminated on the tips,
- 39:47Speaker 1: that's a big savings every year. That's huge. Now, how
- 39:50Speaker 1: do they justify that, Well, they're calling the tips gifts,
- 39:56Speaker 1: and there's no tax on gifts under whatever it is,
- 39:59Speaker 1: fifteenth dollars so seventeen now or something like that, So
- 40:04Speaker 1: it's just considered a gift now, and it is here's
- 40:07Speaker 1: the price for the food you pay that Now, if
- 40:09Speaker 1: you leave a tip, that's just something you decided to
- 40:11Speaker 1: do extra so legally now it's a gift and there's
- 40:14Speaker 1: no tax on it. So President Trump will be in
- 40:17Speaker 1: Las Vegas, which is where that started. It's where he
- 40:20Speaker 1: got the idea. I don't know if he got the idea,
- 40:21Speaker 1: somebody there gave it to him. But eliminating the tax
- 40:24Speaker 1: on tips saved people a lot of money. And the
- 40:28Speaker 1: Big Beautiful Bill this was the first year where you
- 40:30Speaker 1: got the benefits of it. So for almost everybody this year,
- 40:34Speaker 1: their taxes were a lot lower, and they found that
- 40:38Speaker 1: out yesterday, Secretary Bessett.
- 40:40Speaker 15: More than forty five percent of the filers of the
- 40:43Speaker 15: returns that we have seen have had at least one
- 40:47Speaker 15: of the poor President's signature policies, no tax and tips,
- 40:51Speaker 15: no tax in overtime, the deductions for our great seniors,
- 40:55Speaker 15: and the deductibility of interest on auto loans for American
- 40:59Speaker 15: made car.
- 41:00Speaker 1: It's a huge, huge savings for a lot of people.
- 41:03Speaker 1: You know, this is last year they did this bill,
- 41:05Speaker 1: but you didn't get the benefit till this year. And
- 41:09Speaker 1: it's now past April fifteenth, so just about everybody's filed
- 41:12Speaker 1: their taxes and they've seen the great benefits they're getting
- 41:17Speaker 1: out of the Big Beautiful Bill.
- 41:18Speaker 15: I want to encourage everyone out there watching today to
- 41:22Speaker 15: change their withholding if they haven't already done so, because
- 41:26Speaker 15: if you change your withholding, then you will get an
- 41:29Speaker 15: automatic real wage increase, be on a weekly or a
- 41:33Speaker 15: monthly basis, and you will be able to keep more
- 41:35Speaker 15: of your money this calendar year.
- 41:37Speaker 1: Yeah, very good advice. Caroline Levitt, White House Press Secretary.
- 41:41Speaker 16: More than fifty three million filers claimed at least one
- 41:45Speaker 16: of President Trump's signature new tax cuts. The average refund
- 41:49Speaker 16: of this filing season is more than thirty four hundred dollars.
- 41:53Speaker 16: The Trump administration has issued more refunds in larger refunds
- 41:57Speaker 16: than in any year of the history of our country.
- 42:02Speaker 1: Hey, here in New York, you got this big controversy.
- 42:05Speaker 1: The police, two detectives are trying to arrest a guy,
- 42:10Speaker 1: and somebody takes a video in the liquor store. The
- 42:13Speaker 1: guy's resisting arrest two big burly detectives, and the guy
- 42:17Speaker 1: they're trying to get is a big burley guy. It
- 42:19Speaker 1: turns out he's a security guy. Turns out he wasn't
- 42:22Speaker 1: the right guy, but they were trying to arrest him
- 42:25Speaker 1: and he's resisting, and so they're trying to get him
- 42:28Speaker 1: in handcuffs and he's fighting and there, but they're punching
- 42:31Speaker 1: them and punching them and punch It looked pretty bad.
- 42:33Speaker 1: It's a bad looking video. But we don't know the
- 42:37Speaker 1: full story. You gotta wait for the full story, the
- 42:39Speaker 1: police commissioner.
- 42:40Speaker 17: This matter is under internal review by our Internal Affairs Bureau,
- 42:45Speaker 17: and we'll have more to say about it as that
- 42:48Speaker 17: investigation unfolds. But I understand the community interests in it
- 42:53Speaker 17: because it is an upsetting video.
- 42:55Speaker 1: Yeah, it's the video. It's pretty bad, and this witness
- 42:59Speaker 1: is yelling, screaming the guy.
- 43:01Speaker 16: I can hear him say, wait, what's going on.
- 43:03Speaker 12: The officers did not say we're NYPD. They didn't say
- 43:07Speaker 12: that we're detective. They didn't tell him you're under arrest,
- 43:10Speaker 12: put your hands behind your back. They just started hitting him.
- 43:15Speaker 1: Now, Uh, that sounds pretty bad that witness. However, I'm
- 43:19Speaker 1: looking at the video and there were the guy's wearing
- 43:21Speaker 1: a shirt with enormous letters that says NYC New York Police.
- 43:26Speaker 1: It says police all over his shirt. So clearly he's identified.
- 43:30Speaker 1: And people are saying, if you look at the video,
- 43:32Speaker 1: he does identify himself and he says stop resisting arrests.
- 43:35Speaker 1: Stop resisting. The bad part is Mayor Mom Donnie jumped
- 43:39Speaker 1: in and said, this looks terrible. Nobody should be treated
- 43:42Speaker 1: like this. Well, you kind of supposed to wait and
- 43:44Speaker 1: let the police commissioners sort this out. Let the internal affairs,
- 43:50Speaker 1: get some get some facts in front of you first
- 43:52Speaker 1: before you sound off. And he's right. Nobody should be
- 43:56Speaker 1: treated like that except a very's criminal who's resisting arrest.
- 44:01Speaker 1: Now it turns out this guy wasn't guilty, but you
- 44:04Speaker 1: got to wait till the facts are in. That's the
- 44:07Speaker 1: best thing to do. Hey, Live Nation, which is I mean,
- 44:14Speaker 1: it really is kind of a monopoly. The courts ruled
- 44:17Speaker 1: against it. A bunch of states brought a lawsuit against
- 44:20Speaker 1: Live Nation for the high ticket prices. Big states, I
- 44:24Speaker 1: think it was thirty states together brought this lawsuit and
- 44:27Speaker 1: it went to court and the jury voted against Live Nations,
- 44:30Speaker 1: saying it was a monopoly they were overcharging. It kind
- 44:34Speaker 1: of is a monopoly because they not only control all
- 44:37Speaker 1: the ticket sales, they own the venues. They brought up
- 44:39Speaker 1: all the major venues that they could a lot of venues,
- 44:43Speaker 1: so it's kind of a monopoly. It's kind of a bully.
- 44:47Speaker 1: The court ruled that they have overcharged. Now this sounds
- 44:51Speaker 1: really bad, but we don't know the bad part yet,
- 44:53Speaker 1: and the bad part will be what the court decides
- 44:58Speaker 1: as far as a relief, as far as a rem now,
- 45:01Speaker 1: it could be a refund for a lot of these tickets,
- 45:05Speaker 1: could be hundreds of millions of dollars, okay, But it
- 45:09Speaker 1: could be worse. It could be that the court orders
- 45:12Speaker 1: them to break up the company, sell some of the venues,
- 45:15Speaker 1: sell parts of the company off. That's pretty serious stuff. Now,
- 45:19Speaker 1: Live Nation will go through lots of appeals and fight
- 45:23Speaker 1: this like crazy. I mean, besides thee hundreds of millions,
- 45:27Speaker 1: you might have to break up the company, So we'll
- 45:28Speaker 1: see what happens. It is, it is kind of ridiculous
- 45:31Speaker 1: the ticket prices for a lot of ankerson. I can understand,
- 45:35Speaker 1: you know, if you want to sell the first ten
- 45:37Speaker 1: rows for some super VIP gold ticket whatever, charge of fortune,
- 45:41Speaker 1: but a lot of concerts, even if you want to
- 45:44Speaker 1: sit in the worst seat in the balcony, it's still
- 45:46Speaker 1: hundreds of dollars, which is absolutely ridiculous. It's just crazy. Hey,
- 45:51Speaker 1: mel Brooks, he's ninety nine, but still hard at work.
- 45:54Speaker 1: You know, remembers movie Spaceballs. It was a great movie,
- 45:57Speaker 1: Spaceballs million years ago. Well there's a seat. Well he's
- 46:00Speaker 1: involved in it. The sequel to Spaceballs is coming out.
- 46:04Speaker 1: The title he wanted was Spaceballs too the search for money.
- 46:12Speaker 1: In other words, let's cash in on Spaceballs, try to
- 46:14Speaker 1: make some more money. The studios, everybody else would not
- 46:18Speaker 1: go for day fad. They've won the battle. It's not
- 46:22Speaker 1: going to be called that. It's going to be called
- 46:23Speaker 1: Spaceballs to the new one. Okay, all right, that makes
- 46:28Speaker 1: it pretty clear what it is. Hey, I'm looking to
- 46:34Speaker 1: take every So look at the celebrity birthdays. Who was
- 46:37Speaker 1: born on this date. Let's see Charlie Chaplin. Now this
- 46:42Speaker 1: is a fascinating story. Charlie Chaplin in nineteen it's over
- 46:46Speaker 1: one hundred years ago, one hundred and ten years it
- 46:49Speaker 1: first came along. I guess it was nineteen twelve thirteen,
- 46:53Speaker 1: somewhere around nineteen thirteen. Now try to picture this. There
- 46:57Speaker 1: was no radio, there was no tea. All there was
- 47:02Speaker 1: there was vaudeville, but all there was was movies. That
- 47:07Speaker 1: was the only medium out there, the only medium, and
- 47:10Speaker 1: it was silent movies at the time. Chaplin comes to
- 47:14Speaker 1: America and he becomes the biggest movie star in the
- 47:18Speaker 1: world in nineteen fourteen fifteen, and then he's getting paid
- 47:23Speaker 1: a fortune. He was with one company and then Max Senator,
- 47:28Speaker 1: who of the next company, hires him away for multi million,
- 47:31Speaker 1: biggest contract in the history of the world. He's not
- 47:33Speaker 1: only the biggest star on earth, but there's only one medium.
- 47:37Speaker 1: You know, you could be the biggest music star. And
- 47:40Speaker 1: that doesn't mean you've got anything going on television or movies.
- 47:42Speaker 1: But can imagine there's only one medium and you are
- 47:45Speaker 1: by far the biggest star of alls. He was the
- 47:47Speaker 1: biggest star in the world. Charlie Chaplin, and he did
- 47:51Speaker 1: that character, the tramp, and it was like a hobo.
- 47:56Speaker 1: Now can you imagine if he did this today. His
- 47:57Speaker 1: whole career was built on making fun of homeless people.
- 48:01Speaker 1: He was a homeless guy. He was, and that's all
- 48:04Speaker 1: he did is ridicule a homeless brook. Can you remember
- 48:06Speaker 1: this guy would be run out of the country, he'd
- 48:09Speaker 1: be He'd be me tooed out of the plan was
- 48:12Speaker 1: just terrible. Back then they were called hoboes, they were
- 48:16Speaker 1: called tramps. Somewhere along the line they got they must
- 48:21Speaker 1: have hired public relations from all the hoboes and tramps.
- 48:24Speaker 1: They got the name changed to homeless, but chaplain, well,
- 48:28Speaker 1: you could never make fun of them. Today. Hey, Eric Swawell,
- 48:33Speaker 1: besides getting thrown out of Congress, besides having his whole
- 48:36Speaker 1: career ruined, is facing criminal charges in Manhattan, big criminal charges.
- 48:42Speaker 1: And now it looks like Los Angeles. He's going to
- 48:45Speaker 1: face criminal charges in Los Angeles. This is gonna be
- 48:47Speaker 1: like a Harvey Weinstein deal. We just spends the next
- 48:50Speaker 1: decade on trial everywhere trying to fight this. People now
- 48:55Speaker 1: remembering that, remember the State of the Union. It was
- 48:58Speaker 1: Swawell that invited one of the Epstein victims and brought
- 49:04Speaker 1: her to the State of the Union. He wanted everybody
- 49:06Speaker 1: to just pay attention to this Epstein victim. Pay attention,
- 49:09Speaker 1: she's the victim, Epstein victim, victim victim. Well, now, I mean, look,
- 49:14Speaker 1: look how ridiculously hypocritical this guy looks. He could have
- 49:18Speaker 1: brought his own All you have to do is bring
- 49:19Speaker 1: his girlfriends. You want to see some victims, Bring those
- 49:22Speaker 1: women he is accused of doing this stuff with. And
- 49:27Speaker 1: then one of the ones, the la one I guess,
- 49:29Speaker 1: has Lisa Bloom as the attorney. She's the daughter of
- 49:31Speaker 1: remember Gloria Allread, So when it's Gloria Allread Lisa Bloom,
- 49:37Speaker 1: I know a lot of people not too crazy about
- 49:40Speaker 1: those two lawyers. They look like, you know, real publicity hound.
- 49:45Speaker 1: But apparently you see the other problem with Swallowell. Every
- 49:49Speaker 1: time he did this stuff, it was at a hotel.
- 49:53Speaker 1: Always at a hotel. The problem is that leaves an
- 49:55Speaker 1: incredible paper trail because when the woman gives you a
- 49:58Speaker 1: date and every day, well then go check with the hotel.
- 50:00Speaker 1: Sure enough, she got the date right and everything. He
- 50:02Speaker 1: was in the hotel. So this is not looking good
- 50:05Speaker 1: for him. Hey, you know, President Trump is now working
- 50:10Speaker 1: on something. Do you remember the first term they would
- 50:12Speaker 1: impeach him every spring, It was like a regular thing.
- 50:15Speaker 1: The first impeachment was that was the first. The first
- 50:20Speaker 1: impeachment was about Ukraine. He had made a phone call
- 50:23Speaker 1: to Ukraine and they claimed the phone call was something terrible.
- 50:26Speaker 1: It wasn't, but they did impeach him over it. And
- 50:31Speaker 1: then they impeached him again. What was the second one?
- 50:34Speaker 1: Was it January sixth something like that. Anyway, he's now
- 50:38Speaker 1: looking at having the first impeachment expunged, erased, undone. They
- 50:45Speaker 1: think it's possible because they're looking at there's all kinds
- 50:48Speaker 1: of new evidences come out of the Justice Department that
- 50:52Speaker 1: you know, intelligence world, all kinds of new evidence about
- 50:55Speaker 1: that conspiracy to manufacture some fake impeachment about that Ukraine.
- 51:00Speaker 1: Everything they came up with was totally fake, but they
- 51:04Speaker 1: new evidence shows the actual conspiracy taking place. So the
- 51:08Speaker 1: President has talked to Alan Dershowitz. Apparently Dershowitz is willing
- 51:12Speaker 1: to look into this. He'll be the lead attorney and
- 51:15Speaker 1: they're going to look at it very carefully and see
- 51:16Speaker 1: if you can. There's no actual legal mechanism to erase
- 51:20Speaker 1: an impeachment, to reverse it, to expunge it, but there
- 51:23Speaker 1: may be a way to do it. So Dershowitz is
- 51:26Speaker 1: working on that right now. For President Trump. That would
- 51:29Speaker 1: be fascinating if they pull that off. Hey, Supreme Court
- 51:34Speaker 1: Justice Alito, he's seventy six years old, but there's a
- 51:38Speaker 1: lot of talk of him stepping down. Maybe this summer
- 51:41Speaker 1: he might step down. Now, if that's the case, president
- 51:45Speaker 1: Trump gets another appointment to the Supreme Court. Now, you know,
- 51:49Speaker 1: so far, no president since Ronald Reagan has had this
- 51:53Speaker 1: much influence on the Supreme Court. Nobody more than Trump
- 51:56Speaker 1: because he had three appointments in his first term. This
- 52:00Speaker 1: could be a fourth. You imagine that one president got
- 52:03Speaker 1: to put four people on the court, highly unusual. Who
- 52:07Speaker 1: would he put on the court. Well, a lot of
- 52:09Speaker 1: names are being recommended. Mike Lee of Utah, Ted Cruz, Yeah,
- 52:15Speaker 1: I don't know, but the brilliant guy, Ted Cruz. But
- 52:17Speaker 1: I don't think he likes being on TV. He likes
- 52:21Speaker 1: speaking out, he likes you know, when you go on
- 52:22Speaker 1: the Supreme Court, you gotta kind of stay quiet. You
- 52:25Speaker 1: can't run around doing TV shows. You can't. You give
- 52:27Speaker 1: up a lot. You give up a lot of your
- 52:30Speaker 1: public persona, their public life to be on the Supreme Court.
- 52:33Speaker 1: I don't know if CRUs would be interested in that. Hey,
- 52:36Speaker 1: we'll take some calls. Next. Eight hundred three two one
- 52:39Speaker 1: zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three two
- 52:43Speaker 1: one zero seven ten.
- 52:46Speaker 2: Get instant access to Mark by setting a freeset in
- 52:49Speaker 2: the iHeart Radio app for his live show and his podcast.
- 52:53Speaker 2: Now back to the Mark Simone show on wor.
- 52:58Speaker 1: Hey, let's take some calls. Eight hundred three two one
- 53:01Speaker 1: zero seven ten is the number. Let's go to Stuart
- 53:04Speaker 1: in South Carolina. Stuart, how you doing.
- 53:07Speaker 18: Hey, Mark kell are you as far as you know
- 53:09Speaker 18: this guy fighting the police and fighting arrest.
- 53:12Speaker 1: Yeah, Stuart is a longtime law enforcement officer. The video
- 53:17Speaker 1: of those cops are trying to arrest the guy, Well
- 53:19Speaker 1: what about they keep punching him? Are you supposed to
- 53:22Speaker 1: be punching somebody as a cop.
- 53:24Speaker 18: If he is resisting arrest, you don't know what he's
- 53:27Speaker 18: going to do.
- 53:28Speaker 3: You know.
- 53:28Speaker 18: People say, well, you know he didn't have a gun,
- 53:30Speaker 18: he's unarmed. If you have hands and the feet, you
- 53:32Speaker 18: are armed. Many people have been killed with people's hands.
- 53:36Speaker 18: And if this guy is innocent, then just stop and
- 53:40Speaker 18: let the criminal case run its course, you know, and
- 53:45Speaker 18: prove that you are not guilty. And if the guy
- 53:48Speaker 18: is a security guard, he knows better. But when you
- 53:51Speaker 18: are fighting somebody on the street, you have no clue
- 53:54Speaker 18: you know what they are capable of and injuring yourself,
- 53:58Speaker 18: you know, or killing you. I had gotten on in
- 54:01Speaker 18: fights on I ninety five when I used to run
- 54:03Speaker 18: traffic there and back in those days in the South Track,
- 54:07Speaker 18: the trackers would stop and help me. I mean it
- 54:10Speaker 18: happened to me many times. I would be by myself
- 54:12Speaker 18: fighting on ninety five stopped.
- 54:15Speaker 1: Well, I'm asking you. I'm not saying these cops are wrung.
- 54:17Speaker 1: You got to get the guy in, But is there
- 54:20Speaker 1: some kind of like choke hold and this kind of
- 54:22Speaker 1: hold where you get the guy in the hold instead
- 54:23Speaker 1: of just punching, punching, punch that.
- 54:25Speaker 18: Well, remember, yeah, Penny used to choke hold and look
- 54:29Speaker 18: what happened to him, and look what happened to the victim.
- 54:31Speaker 18: So it's damned if you do, Mark, and damned if
- 54:33Speaker 18: you don't. You know, what are these guys going to do?
- 54:36Speaker 18: Until you walk into the shoes of an officer and
- 54:39Speaker 18: trying to arrest someone who may possibly be very dangerous,
- 54:43Speaker 18: You've got to do what you have to do. I mean,
- 54:45Speaker 18: the officers didn't make this guy resist, they didn't make
- 54:48Speaker 18: him fight. You know, he took that on his own.
- 54:51Speaker 18: So the officers have to do whatever they have to
- 54:53Speaker 18: do to stop this guy.
- 54:54Speaker 1: Okay, but what about one of those in the movie
- 54:56Speaker 1: Casino Robert DeNiro, one of those stun gun things that
- 54:59Speaker 1: just touch them many.
- 55:01Speaker 18: You know, if these were I don't know what New
- 55:04Speaker 18: York City that I know the uniform officers carry stunt guns,
- 55:08Speaker 18: but a lot of times these people that it doesn't matter,
- 55:12Speaker 18: it doesn't affect them. It depends on if they're on
- 55:14Speaker 18: drugs or they're so you know, ramped up. I've seen
- 55:17Speaker 18: people get get us stung with these things and it
- 55:20Speaker 18: didn't affect them whatsoever. They just pulled the probes out,
- 55:23Speaker 18: kept fighting. You don't know.
- 55:25Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, good, great call, Stuart, Thanks for calling.
- 55:27Speaker 1: Let's go to Virginia in New York City, Virginia.
- 55:30Speaker 19: How you doing, Hi? How are you?
- 55:32Speaker 7: Mark? I love the shows.
- 55:35Speaker 19: I have a question. I have heard a rumor about
- 55:38Speaker 19: the six point two billion dollars that was transferred to
- 55:42Speaker 19: an offshore account by the head of Homeland Security, and
- 55:47Speaker 19: I wanted to know if it was a rumor or.
- 55:50Speaker 19: I looked it up on snops and they say that
- 55:53Speaker 19: it's unfounded. But there's also a YouTube video.
- 55:57Speaker 8: That shows ooh what, there's a YouTube video.
- 56:00Speaker 1: It must be true.
- 56:00Speaker 19: Oh well is that AI also?
- 56:03Speaker 1: No, But any idiot can put up a YouTube video
- 56:05Speaker 1: and claim anything. Now, don't don't don't don't get tangled
- 56:09Speaker 1: up in all these internet rumors. Just ignore it. Okay,
- 56:13Speaker 1: all right, thanks for calling. Let's go to Joel in Florida. Joel,
- 56:18Speaker 1: how you doing.
- 56:19Speaker 9: Good morning?
- 56:20Speaker 20: More, just a question for you. Justice Alito apparently is
- 56:23Speaker 20: going to be leaving the Supreme Court. Now, a question
- 56:27Speaker 20: I have for you with the three individuals that the
- 56:29Speaker 20: President Trump did put on the Supreme Court, what are
- 56:32Speaker 20: your opinions on what they have accomplished since they've been
- 56:35Speaker 20: on the Supreme Court.
- 56:36Speaker 1: Well, it's a very good question. This happens all the time.
- 56:39Speaker 1: When you're a conservative, you point a conservative to the
- 56:42Speaker 1: Supreme Court, and then he gives you all these liberal
- 56:45Speaker 1: rulings and a million things. It's happened the other way too,
- 56:47Speaker 1: where liberal president points a liberal all of a sudden
- 56:50Speaker 1: he's given conservative rulings. You never know once again on
- 56:54Speaker 1: the Supreme Court, they'll be okay for the first year
- 56:56Speaker 1: or two, then they go completely completely off the rails.
- 57:00Speaker 1: It happens all the time. Not much a president can
- 57:03Speaker 1: do about that. Let's go to Bonnie and Tom's River. Bonnie,
- 57:06Speaker 1: how you doing?
- 57:07Speaker 18: Hi?
- 57:08Speaker 8: Mark?
- 57:09Speaker 7: I heard on the.
- 57:11Speaker 1: Yep. Where'd you go?
- 57:13Speaker 3: Mark?
- 57:14Speaker 1: Yeah, yep, your phone's cutting out.
- 57:18Speaker 7: Can you get a better I can hear you.
- 57:22Speaker 18: He said that if he goes down, Nope.
- 57:26Speaker 1: You're gonna have to call us back keeps cutting out
- 57:29Speaker 1: Tom's river phone service. There. Oh, let's go to Vincent
- 57:32Speaker 1: and Brooklyn Vincent. How you doing.
- 57:34Speaker 9: Good morning Mark, Good morning Mark. This is not a
- 57:37Speaker 9: judgment call. But that guy who was tussling with the
- 57:41Speaker 9: cops in the liquor store in the deli, he's a millionaire.
- 57:46Speaker 9: This is not even going to go to court. The
- 57:48Speaker 9: city's lawyers are going to see that. And if he
- 57:52Speaker 9: goes to court, the guy's going to get twenty thirty
- 57:55Speaker 9: million dollars. He's this is going to be settled out
- 57:57Speaker 9: of court. The guy's a millionaire. Because the visuals look
- 58:01Speaker 9: really bad. I don't get you know, that's my opinion,
- 58:04Speaker 9: and watching a year from now, I'll be right. Okay.
- 58:08Speaker 9: As far as Mandami cost them thirty million dollars to
- 58:12Speaker 9: set up one of these supermarkets. A number of years ago,
- 58:16Speaker 9: I helped a friend set up a gourmet ice cream store,
- 58:20Speaker 9: and there was a company in the Bronx that was
- 58:24Speaker 9: producing this really really high quality, high butter fat ice cream,
- 58:29Speaker 9: gourmet ice cream, and he made a deal with them.
- 58:32Speaker 9: They supplied all the refrigerator cases in this store, the
- 58:37Speaker 9: refrigerators and the freezers as long as he used their products. Now,
- 58:43Speaker 9: in a supermarket, your biggest expenses once the place is
- 58:47Speaker 9: laid out, architecturally speaking, your biggest expenses are the freezer
- 58:53Speaker 9: cases and the refrigerator cases. Because usually, yeah, but we
- 58:57Speaker 9: know the store.
- 58:58Speaker 1: We know from all the top supermarket companies. The cost
- 59:00Speaker 1: of putting together a whole supermarket is one million to
- 59:03Speaker 1: three million at the most.
- 59:05Speaker 9: Exactly my point. So why does he need thirty million dollars?
- 59:09Speaker 9: What is it so he could hand it out to
- 59:11Speaker 9: his friends? A little crony?
- 59:14Speaker 1: I think you're right. I think you're right, Vincent, great call,
- 59:17Speaker 1: Thanks for calling. Hey, when we come back. The great
- 59:21Speaker 1: comedian Jimmy Fayla, you know he's on here every night
- 59:24Speaker 1: now nine to midnight. Excellent show nine to midnight every
- 59:28Speaker 1: night on WR. We'll talk to him next about all
- 59:31Speaker 1: of this stuff coming up on seven to ten wor.
- 59:35Speaker 11: It's more Mark Simone on seven ten WR.
- 59:41Speaker 1: Well, Jimmy Fayla now on WR every weeknight, nine to midnight.
- 59:46Speaker 1: What a great show. You'll love it. It's funny, it's interesting,
- 59:49Speaker 1: nine to midnight every night here and make sure you
- 59:52Speaker 1: watch his Saturday night TV show. It's the best late
- 59:55Speaker 1: night show on television. Every Saturday night at ten, Fox
- 59:59Speaker 1: News Channel, Jimmy Fala, How you doing good?
- 1:00:03Speaker 21: We got a big show this week. Eric Swalwell is
- 1:00:05Speaker 21: going to be on and I'm kidding.
- 1:00:08Speaker 14: I mean he's got the free time.
- 1:00:09Speaker 21: I mean it sounded believable at first, but no, we've
- 1:00:14Speaker 21: never had Swallow on.
- 1:00:15Speaker 7: But you know what swallow on.
- 1:00:16Speaker 8: Jimmy Kimmel.
- 1:00:16Speaker 21: He launched his campaign on the show.
- 1:00:19Speaker 14: Did you know that?
- 1:00:19Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: I forgot about that.
- 1:00:21Speaker 8: He was a big It's not a proud moment for Kimmel. Yeah, he.
- 1:00:25Speaker 21: Launched his campaign on that show and he hasn't been
- 1:00:28Speaker 21: and he hasn't mentioned it once this week.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: By the way, how do you launch a campaign on
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: a show with seven hundred thousand viewers?
- 1:00:34Speaker 21: That's that's the best launching pay Yeah, I mean it's
- 1:00:39Speaker 21: not a good sign when the viewers are the same
- 1:00:41Speaker 21: as the accusers.
- 1:00:42Speaker 8: That's not good. You gotta you gotta change the ratio.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: You're right, hey, if you were doing that kind of stuff,
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: we assume, if we believe the allegations, if you were
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: doing all that kind of stuff with women, why would
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: you be on TV yelling about Epstein and yelling about
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: why would willn't you just keep quiet and stay under
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: the radar.
- 1:01:02Speaker 21: Well, you know the old rules for radicals, you accuse
- 1:01:06Speaker 21: your opponent of what you're doing, and I think you're
- 1:01:10Speaker 21: dealing with a classic case of that. Like they made
- 1:01:13Speaker 21: him the point man on misbehavior, that's what you know.
- 1:01:17Speaker 8: Pelosi essentially had made.
- 1:01:19Speaker 21: Him and he was the perfect guy for that because
- 1:01:22Speaker 21: the Democrats, you know this, they get a lot done
- 1:01:25Speaker 21: through blackmail, meaning on their own people. A guy like Swalwell,
- 1:01:29Speaker 21: who's a useful idiot, is useful till he's not, at
- 1:01:33Speaker 21: which point they released the hounds. I mean, Mark, like
- 1:01:35Speaker 21: this time a week ago, we were barely talking about this.
- 1:01:38Speaker 21: By Friday, there were one hundred accusations lined up, ready
- 1:01:41Speaker 21: to go a press conference of video. He was gone
- 1:01:44Speaker 21: by Sunday morning. I mean, that's not a coincidence, you
- 1:01:47Speaker 21: know what I'm saying. So they knew what they were doing,
- 1:01:49Speaker 21: that's my read on it.
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: Anyway, Well, yeah, clearly this was all packaged and funded
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: and put together. And who would who do such a thing?
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: He is running against a billionaire in California.
- 1:02:02Speaker 8: That's a good point. They're like, this stuff costs, buddy.
- 1:02:05Speaker 8: I'm like, uh huh. Make a good point. And just
- 1:02:08Speaker 8: one thing.
- 1:02:09Speaker 21: Okay, everybody who listens to mister New York probably knows
- 1:02:12Speaker 21: this already, but I need to say it anyway.
- 1:02:14Speaker 8: There's no physical.
- 1:02:15Speaker 21: Way that Nancy Pelosi did not know all of this
- 1:02:19Speaker 21: was a thing. And the reason I say that is
- 1:02:22Speaker 21: because she was the one of the people briefed when
- 1:02:24Speaker 21: he got caught with the Chinese spy. And when the
- 1:02:27Speaker 21: FBI catches you sleeping with a Chinese spy, they don't
- 1:02:30Speaker 21: go by the way, she's a spy, so don't do
- 1:02:32Speaker 21: it again. They have to know everything that's ever gone
- 1:02:35Speaker 21: on in your life since you've met this woman. They
- 1:02:37Speaker 21: got to see your cell phone records, they got to
- 1:02:39Speaker 21: see your emails, they got to know who else you
- 1:02:41Speaker 21: talk to. They've got to find out if dates talk
- 1:02:42Speaker 21: to the spy, Meaning everybody in the who saw that
- 1:02:45Speaker 21: briefing knows everything going on in his personal life.
- 1:02:49Speaker 8: And some of this stuff predates.
- 1:02:50Speaker 21: The spy by a lot. And if you remember, they
- 1:02:53Speaker 21: were suing to stop these records from that investigation from
- 1:02:58Speaker 21: coming out, probably because we would have known.
- 1:03:01Speaker 8: A lot of this stuff. So there's no two ways
- 1:03:03Speaker 8: about it.
- 1:03:04Speaker 21: Nancy Pelosi knew it was in that briefing, which is
- 1:03:06Speaker 21: probably why it was so easy to whap the guy
- 1:03:09Speaker 21: once they got tired of him.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: Hey, can you imagine you're caught sleeping with a Chinese
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: spy and this is not your big scandal anymore? This
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: is your you know what?
- 1:03:18Speaker 7: I can't imagine.
- 1:03:19Speaker 8: This is what I can't imagine.
- 1:03:20Speaker 7: I can't imagine geting.
- 1:03:21Speaker 21: Caught cheating with a Chinese spy, getting away with it,
- 1:03:24Speaker 21: and then not having the good sense to stop.
- 1:03:27Speaker 8: You know what I'm saying.
- 1:03:29Speaker 14: You want leave, Take the money, Take the money and run. Man,
- 1:03:32Speaker 14: You got a lot of freelow Maine. Get out of
- 1:03:35Speaker 14: there with the wind, put your put your little chopstick
- 1:03:38Speaker 14: away and get out of the casino.
- 1:03:39Speaker 8: Man, Hey, did you see the story?
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: Robert F. Kennedy Junior admits when he was a younger guy,
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: he would cut the penis off raccoons to study them.
- 1:03:53Speaker 21: Listen, I went to a different school system. We did
- 1:03:56Speaker 21: biology with cat.
- 1:03:58Speaker 8: I know everybody's got their own thing.
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: Now. He has not released he has not released the
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: study on raccoon penises yet. It hasn't been published yet.
- 1:04:10Speaker 21: Listen, man, we're living in wild times. This the guy
- 1:04:13Speaker 21: who's in charge of health and Human Services.
- 1:04:16Speaker 8: Okay.
- 1:04:17Speaker 21: Is Also it's the same guy who admitted he said,
- 1:04:19Speaker 21: you know, during COVID, I'm not worried about COVID.
- 1:04:21Speaker 8: I used to snort cocaine off toilet seed which was hit.
- 1:04:25Speaker 14: That's him, rfkay, he said that.
- 1:04:28Speaker 9: Okay.
- 1:04:29Speaker 21: It's the same guy who said he left a dead
- 1:04:31Speaker 21: dead bear in Central Park after he hit it, which
- 1:04:34Speaker 21: I've pointed out before. A dead bear not the worst
- 1:04:37Speaker 21: thing a Kennedy has left at the scene.
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: Of a car. It's true. Yeah, people say, what the
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: hell why would he cut off the well, it's a Kennedy,
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: it's a Hey, Mayor mamdannie. He wants to open this
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: supermarket thirty million. All the top supermarket companies they opened
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: supermarkets all over New York say that the cost is
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: one to three million, usually about two million. What the
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: hell is he spending thirty million on?
- 1:05:03Speaker 21: Yeah, that's bananas. And it's like, economically it doesn't make sense.
- 1:05:07Speaker 21: It obviously doesn't. But I am a silver lining guy,
- 1:05:11Speaker 21: and you think, you know, because he was willing to
- 1:05:13Speaker 21: tax us and soak us for that thirty million, you know,
- 1:05:16Speaker 21: every vagrant in New York will now have a.
- 1:05:18Speaker 8: Place to shoplift and that's important.
- 1:05:21Speaker 21: That's important he's gonna you know, because there's the thing
- 1:05:23Speaker 21: people don't.
- 1:05:24Speaker 8: Get when he says we're gonna have this section.
- 1:05:26Speaker 21: Of affordable groceries where we're going to publish the prices.
- 1:05:30Speaker 8: They're gonna be below market rate.
- 1:05:32Speaker 21: All that means is the government is subsidizing the cost
- 1:05:35Speaker 21: difference between what you would pay at retail and what
- 1:05:38Speaker 21: they're gonna charge you. Okay, so one, the tax payers
- 1:05:42Speaker 21: are now paying extra for groceries because you're paying for
- 1:05:44Speaker 21: these subsidized groceries that you might not even be eating.
- 1:05:47Speaker 21: But two, that puts the mom in pop grocery at
- 1:05:50Speaker 21: a big disadvantage because they can't sell below the actual
- 1:05:54Speaker 21: cost of the good, and a government store can, which
- 1:05:57Speaker 21: is why every government that's tried to all the food
- 1:06:00Speaker 21: supply eventually when broke, because there's no profit in producing
- 1:06:03Speaker 21: the food if it's sold that way. So, I mean,
- 1:06:07Speaker 21: that's the bad news. The city's going broke. The good
- 1:06:09Speaker 21: news is we're all gonna have abs this summer because
- 1:06:11Speaker 21: there's going to be no more food on the shelves.
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: Yeah, if you were the government, you wanted to figure
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: out how to get people that can't afford the food.
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: How to get it to them cheap or free? Here's
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: an idea, a little piece of paper called the food stick.
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: Why do you just do that? Just give those that
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: you don't have to build a whole grocery store.
- 1:06:28Speaker 21: Dude, just I mean the truth, you're correct, But the
- 1:06:33Speaker 21: thing is they already exist.
- 1:06:35Speaker 8: And because he wants to see himself as this.
- 1:06:37Speaker 21: Breakthrough guy who changed the game, he's got to come
- 1:06:42Speaker 21: through with a thirty million, million dollar grocery store.
- 1:06:45Speaker 8: I mean, imagine this.
- 1:06:47Speaker 21: Okay, this is where we're buying a Ford Pinto. Remember
- 1:06:51Speaker 21: those things that you said there were diamond does and
- 1:06:52Speaker 21: they catch on fire. But we're buying one for.
- 1:06:55Speaker 8: Thirty million this time around.
- 1:06:56Speaker 21: And it's the same logic if you can get one
- 1:06:59Speaker 21: for cheaper. I mean, I don't know, I don't know
- 1:07:00Speaker 21: what I'm telling you here, Mark, you got me worked
- 1:07:02Speaker 21: up today.
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: Oh I'm sorry. I didn't mean. Hey, President Trump, President
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: Trump going to Las Vegas today, a big event tax
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: no tax on tips. And you played Las Vegas?
- 1:07:12Speaker 8: Right?
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: Do you like Las Vegas?
- 1:07:13Speaker 8: Yeah? You know what I just was it was it Durango.
- 1:07:17Speaker 21: It's brand new, and I was staying in the same hotel.
- 1:07:21Speaker 21: The Dallas Cowboys were staying there because they were playing
- 1:07:23Speaker 21: the Raiders on Monday Night football.
- 1:07:25Speaker 8: Yeah, so a lot.
- 1:07:28Speaker 21: Of the people that are at that hotel are there
- 1:07:31Speaker 21: because they think they might see the cowboys in the lobby.
- 1:07:34Speaker 21: And I'm going to tell you there's a big difference
- 1:07:36Speaker 21: between the caliber of the women waiting around to see
- 1:07:39Speaker 21: the Dallas Cowboys and the women waiting to see Jimmy Faylow.
- 1:07:44Speaker 8: My women aren't waiting.
- 1:07:45Speaker 21: Outside the elevator banks, They're waiting outside the buffet. Okay,
- 1:07:48Speaker 21: it was It was the scene, man, I loved it.
- 1:07:51Speaker 21: It was pretty wild.
- 1:07:52Speaker 8: I love it out there.
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: Yeah, well it was kind of dying Las Vegas. Dying
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: younger people that gamble on their phone, they don't need
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: to go there. They're not interested in the shows all
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: that stuff. What did you do to revive Las Vegas?
- 1:08:06Speaker 21: I mean the easy answer for real, for you know,
- 1:08:09Speaker 21: if you want to attract young kids, because they really
- 1:08:11Speaker 21: don't get off their phones, that's the bigger thing is
- 1:08:15Speaker 21: they have to you know, they have like this Coachella,
- 1:08:18Speaker 21: which is the big thing. They're all all the rich
- 1:08:19Speaker 21: kids around the dester right now. They need to bring
- 1:08:22Speaker 21: that type of They need to make it a scene.
- 1:08:25Speaker 21: You know, during the rat pack era, it was a scene.
- 1:08:27Speaker 21: People wanted to go there and be a part of
- 1:08:29Speaker 21: that and you know, smoke their cigarettes and gamble and
- 1:08:32Speaker 21: watch the shows. These kids don't necessarily go to shows,
- 1:08:36Speaker 21: Like they're not gonna go to Vegas for an individual show,
- 1:08:38Speaker 21: but they would go for a festival. So like how
- 1:08:40Speaker 21: they have Coachella, you know, that thing that.
- 1:08:43Speaker 8: Goes on for two weeks. Or burning man.
- 1:08:45Speaker 21: You know, maybe you start a liberal maybe start a
- 1:08:47Speaker 21: liberal festival.
- 1:08:48Speaker 8: It's called burning them, you know what I mean? Or
- 1:08:51Speaker 8: burning person. You can't say, man, you kept this gender
- 1:08:54Speaker 8: the scarecrow. You're gonna lose at the audience.
- 1:08:56Speaker 21: But burning them and I think you get a big
- 1:08:58Speaker 21: liberal turnout in Vegas. Now you're making money again.
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: Hey, I've asked this a lot of people. This crazy,
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: but that's the first really smart answer I've heard through this. Yeah,
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: makes it a big a scene, a festival. That's the
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: only way you're gonna do it.
- 1:09:09Speaker 21: You need it because and it's not enough to do
- 1:09:10Speaker 21: it with sports teams because the raiders are so bad.
- 1:09:12Speaker 8: If you get there early, you can play.
- 1:09:14Speaker 21: Okay, that's not going to save the city and they're
- 1:09:19Speaker 21: bringing in the Oakland a is who I do believe lost.
- 1:09:21Speaker 8: The father son game last year?
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: Did our kids?
- 1:09:24Speaker 8: So sports ain't going to do it?
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: Well. Hey, Stephen Colbert is going off next month, going
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: off the air. You do the best late night show
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: in television? Will you miss Stephen Colbert?
- 1:09:37Speaker 8: Listen?
- 1:09:38Speaker 21: The Stephen Colbert thing, as far as comedy is concerned,
- 1:09:40Speaker 21: is obviously additioned by subtraction because it's like one less guy.
- 1:09:45Speaker 21: Because you got to think of it this way. People
- 1:09:47Speaker 21: like me who work in late night do it because
- 1:09:49Speaker 21: we grew.
- 1:09:50Speaker 8: Up watching it.
- 1:09:51Speaker 21: So at some point there's a future Jimmy Fail a
- 1:09:54Speaker 21: change in channels right now, who could come across Colbert
- 1:09:57Speaker 21: and be like late night is awful, or late nights political,
- 1:10:00Speaker 21: or late nights just not the goofy thing that makes
- 1:10:03Speaker 21: people want to be around it. So I just, on
- 1:10:05Speaker 21: a serious note, I consider him and Kimmel to be
- 1:10:07Speaker 21: such bad ambassadors to our brand that I just want
- 1:10:11Speaker 21: them to go away.
- 1:10:12Speaker 8: For that reason.
- 1:10:13Speaker 21: It's not even like that they are political.
- 1:10:15Speaker 8: I keep telling you this. It's because they're purposeful.
- 1:10:18Speaker 21: Johnny Carson did as much politics as anybody. Okay, but
- 1:10:21Speaker 21: he didn't end the joke with And that's why when
- 1:10:24Speaker 21: the midterms come, you've got.
- 1:10:25Speaker 8: To vote for this party. Okay, that's it.
- 1:10:28Speaker 21: Nobody wants a lecture on the economy. We're comedians. We
- 1:10:31Speaker 21: entered a profession where we get paid in drink tickets
- 1:10:33Speaker 21: the first five years. We shouldn't run the economy.
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: Mark Well, if you want to see what a late
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: night show's supposed to look like, watch Jimmy Faylis Saturday
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: Nights at ten. It's the best monologue in television. It's
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: the way it's supposed to be done. You know, you
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: go after both sides. President Trump's a big fan of
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: that show. In fact, if you want to be in
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: the audience, where do you go to get the tickets
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: to be in the studio audience?
- 1:10:55Speaker 21: Fox across America dot com. Best Friday night date you'll
- 1:10:58Speaker 21: ever go on. You get free tickets, You come meet
- 1:11:01Speaker 21: all the Fox people.
- 1:11:02Speaker 8: We may or may not be drinking in the bar
- 1:11:04Speaker 8: across the street afterwards. It's a very involved process, but the.
- 1:11:08Speaker 21: Tickets are always free, and you could sign up at
- 1:11:11Speaker 21: foxacross America dot com.
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: Yeah, it's actually a great Friday night date. You're bringing
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: a day, You're gonna be walking around Fox News, see
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: a lot of celebrities, see Jimmy Faylos show, be in
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: the audience, Foxacross America dot Com, and you'll get the tickets.
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: And then every night on w R nine to midnight.
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: What do you got on tonight?
- 1:11:31Speaker 21: Ooh, tonight's a hot one because it's Thursday. So I've
- 1:11:34Speaker 21: been trying to settle this beef. Remember I was telling
- 1:11:36Speaker 21: you about I made a joke about Tom Holman on
- 1:11:39Speaker 21: the air.
- 1:11:39Speaker 8: Last week and he's a good sport.
- 1:11:41Speaker 21: But he called me up when I got off the
- 1:11:43Speaker 21: five Tuesday and threatened my life. He said he's gonna
- 1:11:46Speaker 21: be for real Tom home the borders are. So I
- 1:11:48Speaker 21: think he's coming on today and we're trying to make
- 1:11:51Speaker 21: up because I have a stand up gig in his
- 1:11:53Speaker 21: hometown of Buffalo tomorrow night. Yeah, and I need to
- 1:11:56Speaker 21: get back on the good side with Tom Holman before
- 1:11:58Speaker 21: I set foot in town. So I just texted him
- 1:12:00Speaker 21: and invited him on the show.
- 1:12:02Speaker 8: So depending on how Tonight's interview goes, I might be
- 1:12:05Speaker 8: getting deported. I'll keep you posted.
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: Oh well, let us know because we have to book
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: somebody else next Thursday. Just so keep us up the data.
- 1:12:13Speaker 8: Okay, good, I'm on it. But that's your only concern.
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: That's all we're concerned. No, actually, this sounds like a
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: big show. You don't want to miss this tonight. Tom
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: Holman tries to make Jimmy Fayler will make peace with
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: him tonight nine to midnight on seven ten. W oh
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: our great work, Jimmy Fayla, thanks for being with us
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: the best, Mark take care. Yeah, it's tonight nine O'clock's
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: a great show every night nine to midnight. Hey, you

- 1:12:42Speaker 1: It's Curtis Leewa and Larry Menti every morning six to
