- 0:10Speaker 1: Welcome to Conspiracy The Show, the world's most trusted conspiracy
- 0:16Speaker 1: Beary podcast, with your hosts Adam Todd Brown and Olivia Hidar.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Hey, everybody, welcome the Conspiracy the Show.
- 0:37Speaker 3: I'm Adam Todd Brown. Who else is here?
- 0:40Speaker 4: Hey, I'm Olivia Hidar And.
- 0:42Speaker 2: That makes us your hosts. That bit is harder when
- 0:46Speaker 2: there's another person in the room.
- 0:48Speaker 4: It really is. I had to really race for it.
- 0:50Speaker 5: No, I was hanging back. I knew it was your time.
- 0:54Speaker 5: I knew it was your time to shine. Look, I
- 0:57Speaker 5: read the housekeeping notes before showtime.
- 1:00Speaker 6: Know where we're at.
- 1:00Speaker 4: Sure?
- 1:01Speaker 2: Yeah, I do send out very detailed instructions regarding guest
- 1:06Speaker 2: behavior on this.
- 1:07Speaker 4: Podoyet, this whole show is scripted.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Yeah, well you know, I don't.
- 1:11Speaker 6: I don't know why you asked me to shave my
- 1:13Speaker 6: pubes first.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Hey that's Andy Sell and Cube Cell.
- 1:19Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, that's what they call me.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Apparently there are people who think this podcast or the
- 1:27Speaker 2: podcast that I do, are scripted, which, oh my god,
- 1:30Speaker 2: that would take so much time, like writing script for
- 1:33Speaker 2: five episodes a week.
- 1:35Speaker 4: That's very funny to think, No, we don't script this out.
- 1:40Speaker 5: I mean, you should win an Emmy or whatever equivalent
- 1:45Speaker 5: a Webby.
- 1:46Speaker 4: Yeah, a Webby Yeah, one of the.
- 1:48Speaker 2: More ethical awards in that I think you can just
- 1:51Speaker 2: like buy one. At this point.
- 1:53Speaker 4: You just take home the golden Ethernet cable or whatever
- 1:56Speaker 4: the fucking statute through a Webby.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Oh yeah, vote for us for the Golden Ethernet cable,
- 2:03Speaker 2: even if that someone set it up. And please award
- 2:07Speaker 2: Conspiracy the show. You know, we fucking deserve it.
- 2:10Speaker 4: We do.
- 2:10Speaker 2: Anyway, we're doing a conspiracy News round up episode. Yay,
- 2:15Speaker 2: because it is two K twenty three, and that means
- 2:19Speaker 2: all you gotta do is google the word conspiracy and
- 2:22Speaker 2: a lot of trending recent current news is going to
- 2:26Speaker 2: come up.
- 2:27Speaker 4: That is true.
- 2:28Speaker 2: That that's how the research for this works. And that's
- 2:30Speaker 2: why I love these episodes so much. It's so easy.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Speaking of easy, this is pretty low hanging fruit when
- 2:38Speaker 2: it comes to a conspiracy podcast.
- 2:40Speaker 6: Well, yeah, I mean you gotta.
- 2:42Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Let's talk about a truly historic event. Finally, for the
- 2:48Speaker 2: first time, Mexico held its first congressional hearing about aliens.
- 2:55Speaker 5: Woo.
- 2:57Speaker 2: I don't know what took them so long. I think
- 2:59Speaker 2: everyone seen this by now, right, Yeah, it's yeah. The
- 3:06Speaker 2: UFO hearing even wilder than the one that we just had,
- 3:10Speaker 2: where a guy was like, yeah, we got UFOs in
- 3:15Speaker 2: like in a garage in.
- 3:18Speaker 3: I fucking tell us something. We don't know, pal, it's.
- 3:21Speaker 5: My stepdad's he's working on it. We can't don't scratch it.
- 3:25Speaker 5: It's just blue Oyster cult blasting from a garage near
- 3:29Speaker 5: the White House.
- 3:30Speaker 2: The star of this hearing was UFO enthusiast and journalist
- 3:37Speaker 2: Jime Mosan, and what he brought along with him was
- 3:42Speaker 2: what he alleged to be two mummified bodies of alien origin.
- 3:49Speaker 2: And they, I mean they look like aliens. You know, sure,
- 3:54Speaker 2: they look like what we envision aliens to.
- 3:57Speaker 4: Be, right, yeahb sized humans.
- 4:01Speaker 6: It looked like a fifth grader made them with paper mache.
- 4:05Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, which is why I believe them.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Yeah, they do look pretty silly. And the thing about it,
- 4:14Speaker 2: there's like videos out there where there's like labs that
- 4:18Speaker 2: are like, no, we tested them, there's no no manipulation
- 4:22Speaker 2: of any sort. And the thing is, even if these
- 4:25Speaker 2: things are real, no one's ever gonna believe it, Like
- 4:28Speaker 2: even I like I am one of the least cynical
- 4:32Speaker 2: people when it comes to stuff. Like this, and even
- 4:35Speaker 2: I'm like, man, that lab could be in on it,
- 4:37Speaker 2: like this, Yeah, like this could very easily be a
- 4:42Speaker 2: fucking hoax.
- 4:43Speaker 4: Like, I don't think it takes much effort to think
- 4:47Speaker 4: that it might be a hoax. It's pretty hoaxy. It
- 4:50Speaker 4: looks like every other hoax that we've gotten since Chariot
- 4:53Speaker 4: of the Gods. So like, I don't know, man, although
- 4:58Speaker 4: you know, I'm ready to like eat my words. As
- 5:01Speaker 4: soon as he puts some water on him and they
- 5:03Speaker 4: grow like four times the size, Yeah.
- 5:07Speaker 2: That would be so cool. Start multiplying like gremlins exactly.
- 5:14Speaker 3: They were underground for a reason.
- 5:15Speaker 6: Huh, Yeah, I agree, But I yeah, I want to
- 5:22Speaker 6: believe this. This is one of those things.
- 5:23Speaker 5: I'm very I'm a very cynical, skeptical person. I don't
- 5:26Speaker 5: believe any shit ever, pretty much, but like, I want
- 5:30Speaker 5: to believe this one because it's just because it's so
- 5:33Speaker 5: obviously a hoax, because it has such flagrant like that.
- 5:38Speaker 5: Remember that guy that had the body of Bigfoot in
- 5:41Speaker 5: a cooler or a freezer or something.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Yeah, what did that turn out to me?
- 5:47Speaker 5: I can't remember if it turned out to be like
- 5:49Speaker 5: a costume or just another animal or something. But it
- 5:53Speaker 5: really feels like that kind of a thing, which is
- 5:55Speaker 5: why I want it to be, because I want the.
- 5:57Speaker 6: Shit that's so clearly a hoax to be the stuff
- 5:59Speaker 6: that's yeah, just go ahead.
- 6:02Speaker 4: No, I just hope that he didn't fuck up the
- 6:04Speaker 4: Nasca lines more getting this thing.
- 6:07Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean they're already pretty much gone.
- 6:09Speaker 2: Yeah, that's that's the one thing that at least makes
- 6:11Speaker 2: me think this wouldn't be a government conspiracy, Like there's
- 6:15Speaker 2: no way. They're just like trying to drum up tourism
- 6:17Speaker 2: to the Nascal Lines. That's the last fucking thing the
- 6:21Speaker 2: Nascal Lines need.
- 6:23Speaker 6: But they just want to compete with Machu Pichu.
- 6:26Speaker 5: Yeah, they're like everybody comes here to Machu Pichu for
- 6:28Speaker 5: their honeymoons and shit.
- 6:30Speaker 4: Well people keep saying, but you're both in Peru, so
- 6:33Speaker 4: you win.
- 6:34Speaker 6: But they're too similar, is the thing. They're too and
- 6:38Speaker 6: they don't even know it, Like they fight like siblings
- 6:41Speaker 6: because they're basically the same person.
- 6:44Speaker 3: I would fuck with Machu Pichu.
- 6:47Speaker 2: I don't think I would bother like I would want
- 6:49Speaker 2: to see the Nasca lines, but like from the sky.
- 6:53Speaker 4: Yes, from a distance.
- 6:55Speaker 3: They don't want to be on the ground. They're not
- 6:57Speaker 3: going to look like anything.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Isn't that why it took him so long be discovered,
- 7:02Speaker 2: Like we eventually had to learn to fly and then
- 7:04Speaker 2: we were like, oh, there they are.
- 7:05Speaker 4: Well, really, the whole valley is surrounded. But we've talked
- 7:08Speaker 4: about this on the Cherry of God's episode. The whole
- 7:11Speaker 4: valley is surrounded by really tall hills, which would make
- 7:15Speaker 4: it perfect for people to have seen them. So anyway,
- 7:19Speaker 4: so take that in the lines.
- 7:20Speaker 6: Ye get up on the hill and look at that shit.
- 7:24Speaker 4: But yeah, I don't think this is an alien. I'm sorry,
- 7:27Speaker 4: I'm sorry. Yeah.
- 7:28Speaker 5: Is it a mummified child? Is that the theory because
- 7:31Speaker 5: that's where it looks.
- 7:32Speaker 4: Like a fucking sculpture.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Yeah, apparently things like this that have been discovered previously
- 7:39Speaker 2: ended up being mummified kids. But if that's the case, like,
- 7:43Speaker 2: why the long faced kid, why do you look like that?
- 7:47Speaker 3: What's going on?
- 7:48Speaker 4: Because he he was it's mummified. That's probably not his face.
- 7:54Speaker 2: I don't know, it's not the years.
- 7:56Speaker 6: Maybe it's the mileage. I don't know.
- 8:00Speaker 2: Well, speaking of that that, they do claim that they've
- 8:02Speaker 2: carbon dated this thing in that it's a thousand years
- 8:05Speaker 2: old or more than a thousand years old, probably not
- 8:08Speaker 2: like you're dead on one thousand years old. That would
- 8:10Speaker 2: be wild if.
- 8:11Speaker 5: They're saying because the right they're saying that the lab
- 8:13Speaker 5: says it's not a human that it had doesn't it
- 8:16Speaker 5: doesn't share enough DNA or whatever with humans to be
- 8:19Speaker 5: a human. That's I don't they're not even using the
- 8:22Speaker 5: words DNA. This is why I don't trust this lab.
- 8:25Speaker 5: It's because it's all like, yeah, there's nothing human about this,
- 8:27Speaker 5: and it's like, well, well that could mean it's a
- 8:30Speaker 5: rock then, or could it be like a mummified primate
- 8:34Speaker 5: from a.
- 8:34Speaker 6: Thousand years ago?
- 8:35Speaker 2: Yeah, who knows.
- 8:36Speaker 6: I mean in that case that's fun too, you.
- 8:39Speaker 2: Know, even if it's a mummified alien. I mean kind
- 8:43Speaker 2: of so, what where are they now?
- 8:46Speaker 6: Yeah, you were here a thousand years ago?
- 8:49Speaker 2: That is borderline like saying there were like extinct animals
- 8:54Speaker 2: at one point, and it's like, there's sure were there
- 8:56Speaker 2: were lots of things that did exist and that don't anymore.
- 8:59Speaker 2: Like if aliens came here and just died off, I
- 9:02Speaker 2: guess we're.
- 9:06Speaker 6: Well it's you know, they got wet.
- 9:08Speaker 2: Yeah, it seems like our craft stays in the sky
- 9:11Speaker 2: better than their ship, and it seems like, uh, we
- 9:14Speaker 2: survived whatever happened at the Nasca lines.
- 9:17Speaker 4: If we definitely survived, that's for sure.
- 9:21Speaker 5: So I like to think that every time a UFO
- 9:23Speaker 5: or a UAP excuse me, ends up on this planet
- 9:27Speaker 5: like crashed, it's not because aliens are exploring us. It's
- 9:32Speaker 5: like when we get drunk and go off the road
- 9:34Speaker 5: out in the middle of nowhere driving somewhere.
- 9:37Speaker 2: It's just that.
- 9:38Speaker 5: For it's just that aliens like fucked up on whatever
- 9:40Speaker 5: aliens get fucked up on. Yeah, well, like he like
- 9:44Speaker 5: looks down because a tape falls into the from the
- 9:48Speaker 5: console and he's got to reach over the seat to pick.
- 9:50Speaker 6: It up, and the next thing he knows, he's a
- 9:51Speaker 6: fucking Roswell.
- 9:53Speaker 4: Well, I was gonna say. I do think that is
- 9:55Speaker 4: basically the current most popular theory. Basically, yeah, they got
- 10:02Speaker 4: struck by lightning, and crash is going to fuck up
- 10:08Speaker 4: an extraterrestrial spacecraft. They could travel through space. They can't
- 10:11Speaker 4: prepare for some electricity.
- 10:12Speaker 2: But I do like that theory, like that aliens reaching
- 10:16Speaker 2: for his seager cassette ends up on Earth and hey,
- 10:24Speaker 2: there the ships can't handle our atmosphere the other I
- 10:27Speaker 2: still I've said it before and I'll say it again.
- 10:29Speaker 2: That really speaks to my question of well, then why
- 10:33Speaker 2: why would we want it? Why would we want a
- 10:36Speaker 2: technology if it can't Well, this is balloons, the real
- 10:40Speaker 2: guy better than this ship.
- 10:41Speaker 4: The real question is how did they get a Bob
- 10:44Speaker 4: Seger cassette in nineteen forty seven?
- 10:46Speaker 2: Time travel and alien theory? There you go, Hollywood Knights, baby, Yeah,
- 10:51Speaker 2: I love the.
- 10:52Speaker 6: Other aliens, Like, just put on the radio. It's not
- 10:55Speaker 6: worth it, man, It's like Hollywood.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Knights, and who doesn't I love Bob Seger. I saw
- 11:04Speaker 2: Bob Seger in concert and I cried a little because
- 11:07Speaker 2: I could see that because Sgar rules and he like
- 11:10Speaker 2: had like mostly retired and then just all of a
- 11:13Speaker 2: sudden like came back and it was fucking great.
- 11:17Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, of course it was fucking great. The
- 11:19Speaker 5: man is an intergalactic icon. He's so good that he's
- 11:23Speaker 5: popular with aliens.
- 11:25Speaker 2: He caused Roswell. We got to get that on a
- 11:30Speaker 2: T shirt. Seeger caused Roswell.
- 11:35Speaker 4: Shirt?
- 11:37Speaker 2: All right? So yeah, who knows this dude? Fucking Antiques
- 11:42Speaker 2: Road showed Mexican Congress, and it's never like I feel
- 11:49Speaker 2: like there had to be a point in history where
- 11:51Speaker 2: someone was trying to get a skeptic to believe UFOs
- 11:55Speaker 2: and aliens are real, and they're like, what's it gonna take.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Someone gets in front of Congress actually holding an alien.
- 12:01Speaker 2: Is that what it's gonna take. Nope, that's still not enough.
- 12:05Speaker 6: Still not enough.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Ever, gonna like they're gonna have to invade, Like that's
- 12:10Speaker 2: the only solution. Like, for a lot of reasons, I
- 12:12Speaker 2: think aliens should.
- 12:13Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean I'm cool. Yeah again, I think we've
- 12:16Speaker 6: said this a few times. Who cares? Let them?
- 12:19Speaker 2: It's my apocalypse of choice for sure.
- 12:23Speaker 4: Yeah, as long as.
- 12:24Speaker 2: I die in like the War of the World's shoot
- 12:27Speaker 2: them up stuff like human enslavement stuff.
- 12:30Speaker 4: I'm going up to the top of the building in
- 12:33Speaker 4: Los Angeles and holding up the side. I'm ready, exactly.
- 12:39Speaker 2: All right, let's talk about a Democratic presidential candidate.
- 12:43Speaker 4: Oh yeah, totally.
- 12:48Speaker 2: This is so far the only alternative we got when
- 12:52Speaker 2: it comes to Biden. In twenty twenty four, RFK Junior,
- 12:59Speaker 2: he has breassed some skepticism over the official account of
- 13:04Speaker 2: nine to eleven. And here's the thing. This guy's a nightmare.
- 13:07Speaker 2: He's he's a big, big problem. He's not going to
- 13:12Speaker 2: be president ever for so many reasons. I mean, actually
- 13:16Speaker 2: I don't I don't want to get.
- 13:18Speaker 6: That, say that, don't monkey's pawn his ship exactly.
- 13:23Speaker 4: Okay, We've got a lot they would be.
- 13:33Speaker 2: Hans Hans Han, there we go, there we go. How
- 13:41Speaker 2: that convention works.
- 13:45Speaker 4: I just think it would it would take like there's
- 13:47Speaker 4: like a dozen worst case scenarios that we get to
- 13:50Speaker 4: before r FK Junior.
- 13:56Speaker 2: That is very true.
- 13:58Speaker 4: There's like a million worse things that have to happen first.
- 14:02Speaker 6: But like, again, don't tempt anything.
- 14:05Speaker 2: You know, what if it would be interesting what if
- 14:08Speaker 2: it did come down to like RFK Junior and DeSantis,
- 14:13Speaker 2: Like you know, at that point you got to be
- 14:18Speaker 2: a conscientious objector in some way.
- 14:22Speaker 6: I think I'm with Olivia on this too, because it's like, yeah,
- 14:25Speaker 6: before we get even that DeSantis v. RFK, before that
- 14:31Speaker 6: even happens, there's already martial law. Like there's already like
- 14:35Speaker 6: open fighting in the street.
- 14:37Speaker 4: Things are in hell already.
- 14:39Speaker 7: Yeah, Like you know, because you have to think, like, uh,
- 14:42Speaker 7: you know, we lose Harris, we lose Speaker of the house,
- 14:47Speaker 7: Like there's so many people who have to die before
- 14:51Speaker 7: we're ready to like nominate RFK.
- 14:54Speaker 6: I mean here's the thing though, like now I'm thinking
- 14:58Speaker 6: about it. Now there's just t and.
- 15:00Speaker 4: I'm like, okay, but this is not the news story.
- 15:06Speaker 3: Yes, it's not.
- 15:07Speaker 2: The story. Story is that somehow people are surprised, shocked,
- 15:13Speaker 2: caught off guard. Really, RFK Junior questions the official narrative
- 15:22Speaker 2: of what happened on nine to eleven.
- 15:24Speaker 4: No, can shit, I can't believe conspiracy theory. The candidate
- 15:32Speaker 4: wasn't real.
- 15:35Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean this is like this is greatest hits
- 15:37Speaker 5: conspiracy like exactly helped me with a B side here
- 15:41Speaker 5: are I.
- 15:41Speaker 4: Would be I would be way more shocked if he
- 15:44Speaker 4: didn't think nine to eleven was an inside shock.
- 15:49Speaker 5: The thing is is that in the story, it's even
- 15:52Speaker 5: like he's even trying to not answer it, like right,
- 15:56Speaker 5: this this journalist is pushing him, trying to get him
- 15:59Speaker 5: to say something crazy about yeah right this podcaster.
- 16:03Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the thing. He was on a podcast.
- 16:05Speaker 2: And if you will link to the article, I mean,
- 16:08Speaker 2: we're not going to tell you to listen to the podcast.
- 16:10Speaker 2: I don't even know what podcast it was don't listen
- 16:13Speaker 2: to any podcast except this one.
- 16:14Speaker 6: Yeah, this is the only We're the only ones telling
- 16:17Speaker 6: the truth.
- 16:17Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, at least in terms of conspiracy podcasts.
- 16:20Speaker 4: It might be true.
- 16:24Speaker 2: But this host was clearly trying to get RFK Junior
- 16:29Speaker 2: to say crazy shit about nine to eleven and like
- 16:33Speaker 2: he didn't want to talk about.
- 16:34Speaker 6: He was like, he was like, I'm not the guy
- 16:36Speaker 6: to talk to about this. He like admitted it was
- 16:39Speaker 6: the first fucking rational thing Bobby Jay has said in
- 16:42Speaker 6: his life. He's like, and this podcaster doesn't want to
- 16:46Speaker 6: savor that moment. It's just like, no, what do you think? Though?
- 16:49Speaker 6: What do you think? And he's like, I don't know.
- 16:51Speaker 6: I'm not an expert. I'm not the guy. And also
- 16:54Speaker 6: like I don't accept the official narrative is like congratulations
- 16:57Speaker 6: you think critically, Like that's yeah, well nonstory.
- 17:01Speaker 2: That's the thing this guy, he's clearly trying to provoke
- 17:05Speaker 2: like an exciting comment out of RFK Junior. And here's
- 17:10Speaker 2: the thing, RFK Junior didn't want to talk about it.
- 17:12Speaker 3: Fuck him. I don't care about his wishes.
- 17:14Speaker 2: I hope all his dreams down in flames. But at
- 17:17Speaker 2: the same time, this guy's like, oh, so you don't
- 17:21Speaker 2: accept the official narrative. You don't accept that al Qaeda
- 17:24Speaker 2: was responsible. And it's like, buddy, I think a lot
- 17:27Speaker 2: of people don't necessarily think al Qaida was responsible anymore. Yeah,
- 17:32Speaker 2: Like the families of nine to eleven victims, for example.
- 17:38Speaker 4: Kaida pretty adamants Saudi Arabia is like, don't take credit exactly.
- 17:46Speaker 2: Like this guy clearly has not looked into nine to
- 17:49Speaker 2: eleven in a while.
- 17:51Speaker 3: Like that part of the story.
- 17:53Speaker 2: I think there is definitely room for discussion as to
- 17:57Speaker 2: whether we maybe invaded the country or two over that is, yes.
- 18:03Speaker 6: Or or three or four?
- 18:05Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean what do you count as an invasion?
- 18:08Speaker 5: Is it just stabilization of the region count or are
- 18:11Speaker 5: we talking only proper like official military actions exactly.
- 18:18Speaker 2: And like this is also so lazy. There's so many
- 18:20Speaker 2: other crazy things you can get RFK Junior willingly.
- 18:25Speaker 6: Yeah, it's gotta be such a softball fucking thing to do.
- 18:29Speaker 6: Just ask him what he thinks about literally anything normal.
- 18:33Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yep, basically.
- 18:36Speaker 3: Yeah, just to ask him about COVID for fox sake.
- 18:39Speaker 4: Yeah, ask him about COVID. That's all anybody should ever
- 18:42Speaker 4: ask him about.
- 18:43Speaker 2: Honestly kind of Yeah, yeah, r FK Junior, he's a
- 18:47Speaker 2: fucking problem, are.
- 18:49Speaker 6: You FK M Junior?
- 18:52Speaker 4: Remember remember when Cornell West talked about ready for president
- 18:56Speaker 4: and he was like because I love this RFK Junior
- 18:59Speaker 4: so much.
- 19:00Speaker 6: I was like, shut.
- 19:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:03Speaker 5: I don't think there's a person that doesn't tell Cornell
- 19:05Speaker 5: West to shut up when he starts talking.
- 19:07Speaker 6: Now he makes literally everybody look bad.
- 19:11Speaker 2: God, all right, let's talk about I would argue this
- 19:15Speaker 2: headline is more interesting than it seems. Sure, fake Trump
- 19:19Speaker 2: electors say they were brainwashed, and on the surface, if
- 19:24Speaker 2: you just read the headline, you're like, well, yeah, no.
- 19:26Speaker 6: Shit, yeah, yeah, no kidding, Yeah.
- 19:29Speaker 2: You were brainwashed, of course you were. But this is
- 19:32Speaker 2: actually a really interesting defense strategy. What happened is there's
- 19:38Speaker 2: fake We've talked about the fake elector's scheme. If not
- 19:42Speaker 2: on this podcast, we've talked about it like the podcasts.
- 19:46Speaker 2: If you don't know how it works, how are you
- 19:48Speaker 2: even listening to a conspiracy podcast?
- 19:53Speaker 3: Like that's like the initiation.
- 19:54Speaker 2: Like if you were to come to the door right now,
- 19:56Speaker 2: I'd be like, tell me what the fake elector's scheme is,
- 19:59Speaker 2: and and I would know belong in this room.
- 20:03Speaker 4: Right now, the worst exam ever.
- 20:08Speaker 2: So there's people who have been indicted for those various
- 20:12Speaker 2: schemes all around the country, including sixteen people in Michigan,
- 20:16Speaker 2: and two of them apparently hired very good lawyers. They're
- 20:20Speaker 2: all being tried together, but they each have their own
- 20:22Speaker 2: individual lawyers and shit, and two of them apparently have
- 20:25Speaker 2: very good lawyers because their defense is that, well, they
- 20:29Speaker 2: were brainwashed by Trump, and for this crime to stick,
- 20:33Speaker 2: you have to prove there was malicious intent. And if
- 20:35Speaker 2: someone's brainwashed, you're basically saying they're like a cult victim
- 20:39Speaker 2: at that point, and there can't be really malicious intent
- 20:44Speaker 2: in that case. And the reason they're saying that is
- 20:47Speaker 2: because Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel is the one who
- 20:52Speaker 2: said it. And she didn't say it when she indicted
- 20:55Speaker 2: these people. She didn't like put it in any court
- 20:58Speaker 2: ruling or any court died documents. She just went on
- 21:01Speaker 2: the fucking internet and attended some virtual event for liberal
- 21:06Speaker 2: activists and said this.
- 21:09Speaker 3: People talk a lot about, oh, why don't.
- 21:11Speaker 2: You start flipping some of these people so that so
- 21:13Speaker 2: that they can become witnesses against the remaining defendants. The
- 21:17Speaker 2: worst acting defendants. The problem is these are people who
- 21:22Speaker 2: have been brainwashed end quote. And you know, some people
- 21:26Speaker 2: just shouldn't talk.
- 21:28Speaker 4: Especially prosecutors. Fucking prosecutors are the dumbest motherfuckers, I swear
- 21:34Speaker 4: to God.
- 21:34Speaker 6: Yeah, even when they can't you know, whatever.
- 21:40Speaker 5: The thing is, this is a very interesting story because
- 21:42Speaker 5: it's like the implications are so depressing, like if this
- 21:46Speaker 5: actually does, like and it's about it's all about like
- 21:50Speaker 5: the court that it's presented in, like that this argument
- 21:53Speaker 5: is presented, and the good faith or bad faith that
- 21:55Speaker 5: it's being taken in, like right, because it's an easy
- 21:58Speaker 5: thing to say, well, I was I spoke out of turn.
- 22:01Speaker 6: This is not what I meant.
- 22:02Speaker 5: I wasn't using a clinical or legal definition of brainwashed.
- 22:06Speaker 5: Because also this is when you start getting into those
- 22:08Speaker 5: like weird like criminal justice Catch twenty twos and shit,
- 22:11Speaker 5: where it's like, you know, oh, who would kill someone
- 22:14Speaker 5: if they weren't crazy? Therefore everyone who's killed someone is guilt,
- 22:17Speaker 5: is not guilty by reason of insanity or whatever, you know,
- 22:19Speaker 5: Like you start picking that apart, and it's like, yeah,
- 22:22Speaker 5: but it's so fucking depressing if this actually like undermines
- 22:26Speaker 5: the prosecution.
- 22:28Speaker 3: Yeah, and I feel like it might.
- 22:31Speaker 4: There's a really good argument for it. Definitely, Like if
- 22:35Speaker 4: they've got even a halfway decent lawyer, they're gonna jump
- 22:38Speaker 4: all over that.
- 22:39Speaker 6: Yeah, because of course they're brainwashed.
- 22:42Speaker 4: Of course they're brainwashed, that's the easy question.
- 22:45Speaker 6: But does that absolved them of accountability?
- 22:47Speaker 4: Like, right, it's not brainwashed in the you have no
- 22:51Speaker 4: responsibility for your actions. But they weren't logical brainwash.
- 22:55Speaker 6: Yeah, they weren't literally winter soldiered.
- 22:57Speaker 5: You know, they're not fucking like they're not a bunch
- 23:00Speaker 5: of Michigan candidates, right, you see what I did there?
- 23:04Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 23:07Speaker 2: Yeah, And I think, especially in the case of Trump followers,
- 23:13Speaker 2: I almost don't agree with giving them cult status. Like
- 23:19Speaker 2: with a cult, there's some degree of like bait and
- 23:23Speaker 2: switch or like you're you're enticed into taking like life
- 23:27Speaker 2: coaching classes and next thing you know, you're getting fucking branded.
- 23:31Speaker 2: Like that's different. Like people were telling Trump followers about Trump,
- 23:36Speaker 2: like there was plenty of information available and they sided
- 23:40Speaker 2: with him for very specific reasons.
- 23:43Speaker 4: Yes.
- 23:44Speaker 2: Yes, And that's why I hate that she said this
- 23:47Speaker 2: because I don't feel like they were brainwashed. I feel
- 23:51Speaker 2: like they just like this was just their thing like
- 23:54Speaker 2: this is their Yeah, well.
- 23:56Speaker 5: It's it's the it's the right, the parrot, the paradox
- 23:59Speaker 5: or conundrum fascism, where it's like, yeah, it's a conformist ideology,
- 24:03Speaker 5: but it's it's also about concentrating the power with the few.
- 24:07Speaker 5: So it's not like it's this weird, elusive kind of
- 24:10Speaker 5: thing where it's really just because it's so stupid, Like
- 24:13Speaker 5: it's because the social conditioning was there in the first
- 24:15Speaker 5: place for someone like Donald Trump to come and take
- 24:18Speaker 5: advantage of it. But he didn't create the conditions. No,
- 24:22Speaker 5: so but he also isn't like you said, he's not
- 24:25Speaker 5: literally like abducting people and like fucking re educating them
- 24:29Speaker 5: or programming them. It's just this is they for whatever
- 24:33Speaker 5: shitty reasons they have, they have, they have chosen the
- 24:36Speaker 5: side of cruelty.
- 24:38Speaker 4: It's it's cultural indoctrination, ideological you know, it's it's stuff
- 24:42Speaker 4: that is reminiscent of brainwashing and cult behavior. But it
- 24:46Speaker 4: isn't literally removing agency from people in the way that
- 24:50Speaker 4: will be interpreted by courts trying to try this case exactly.
- 24:55Speaker 5: It's the problem with using high you know, terms that
- 24:57Speaker 5: you're stretching, like brainwashing or cult like hyperbolically, because it's like, no,
- 25:03Speaker 5: this is you're involved in the very specific, complex apparatus
- 25:09Speaker 5: of this.
- 25:10Speaker 4: Again, it just comes down to you, she should have
- 25:12Speaker 4: kept her fucking mouth shut, honestly, Like there was no
- 25:15Speaker 4: fucking reason for her to be a public figure in
- 25:18Speaker 4: that way, Like she should have just stayed fucking quiet
- 25:21Speaker 4: and prosecuted the goddamn case.
- 25:23Speaker 2: And you're now out of the countless times it's happened,
- 25:28Speaker 2: this will be the one time a prosecutor actually gets
- 25:32Speaker 2: in trouble for saying something about a case that the Yeah,
- 25:37Speaker 2: was littered with examples of prosecutors saying things like, even
- 25:42Speaker 2: when people are still just being investigated and act been
- 25:46Speaker 2: charged with anything that very much make that person look guilty. Yeah,
- 25:51Speaker 2: you know, you probably shouldn't be able to do that.
- 25:53Speaker 5: Prosecutors are just cops who are scared of guns, so
- 25:57Speaker 5: they're just as fucking stupid, and they're just as fucking vindictive.
- 26:00Speaker 2: Yeah, Yeah, I've said a bunch of times. I feel
- 26:03Speaker 2: like there should be something written into law that if
- 26:08Speaker 2: it can be proven that you like prosecuted someone you
- 26:11Speaker 2: knew was innocent, like it shouldn't end with that person
- 26:15Speaker 2: being exonerated and being let out of jail. You should
- 26:18Speaker 2: go to jail next. And I mean that sounds funny,
- 26:24Speaker 2: but like there are cases where prosecutors like hid evidence
- 26:28Speaker 2: that they knew would exonerate. So absolutely prison that person
- 26:33Speaker 2: loses like eighteen years.
- 26:34Speaker 5: All right, this is crazy talk, Adam. Next you're going
- 26:38Speaker 5: to be telling me that if a president lies to
- 26:41Speaker 5: start a war, they should be held somehow accountable.
- 26:45Speaker 6: This is crazy.
- 26:46Speaker 3: No, that's that's a step too that's a step too far.
- 26:48Speaker 4: Oh no, then we would have if we did that,
- 26:50Speaker 4: then we'd have to jail all of our presidents.
- 26:54Speaker 2: Yeah. Where would michellema get all her candy from?
- 27:01Speaker 4: He's our only candy supplier.
- 27:04Speaker 2: Mush given Michelle Obama a piece of candy?
- 27:07Speaker 6: Oh my god, Yeah, you would.
- 27:09Speaker 2: Give the exercise first lady a piece of candy. Fucking monster.
- 27:14Speaker 3: Crime.
- 27:15Speaker 6: Still great painter, though, great painter.
- 27:19Speaker 4: Yeah, he really captured the desperation in people's souls.
- 27:23Speaker 2: Yeah. Great at getting Jewish people to resettle in Israel
- 27:27Speaker 2: so enough of them can be there for the apocalypse
- 27:29Speaker 2: to happen. My god, google that everybody. So let's talk
- 27:36Speaker 2: about Twitter. No, I'm not gonna call it x it's
- 27:39Speaker 2: not fucking pronouns I get to call it I want,
- 27:42Speaker 2: I don't care.
- 27:43Speaker 3: It's Twitter.
- 27:44Speaker 2: I'm not changing.
- 27:45Speaker 4: I'm gonna about this. I'm gonna exit about this, and
- 27:49Speaker 4: you're gonna be in trouble.
- 27:50Speaker 3: You should and I probably will be.
- 27:53Speaker 6: Yeah, looking into this that's concerning there.
- 27:57Speaker 2: There's gonna be a bunch of elections happening in twenty
- 28:00Speaker 2: twenty four, including one I believe right here in the
- 28:04Speaker 2: United States. I'll have the fact I don't know off camera.
- 28:08Speaker 2: Can someone Our team's on it, okay, a research team.
- 28:11Speaker 6: All right, I'll stop. I'll stop looking it up. I
- 28:13Speaker 6: was gonna start looking it up.
- 28:14Speaker 2: But if you got encyclopedia a way, andy, come on.
- 28:19Speaker 6: But I've walked all the way to the shelf.
- 28:21Speaker 4: The encyclopedia isn't going to have parent information what you're
- 28:25Speaker 4: talking about.
- 28:27Speaker 6: I have a team that comes in and updates them
- 28:29Speaker 6: every every two hours.
- 28:31Speaker 4: Wow. It's a busy team.
- 28:33Speaker 6: A lot of writing in the margins.
- 28:36Speaker 2: So the elections are happening, That's where I was going.
- 28:40Speaker 2: And in the run up to that, Twitter has decided
- 28:44Speaker 2: to fire pretty much the entire team that is responsible
- 28:49Speaker 2: for like stopping misinformation from being spread on Twitter.
- 28:53Speaker 4: Good.
- 28:54Speaker 6: I love it, love it, love it, love it, love
- 28:56Speaker 6: it more.
- 28:57Speaker 4: It's a way that was a waste of resources. There's
- 28:59Speaker 4: no information on Twitter exactly.
- 29:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean there's no such thing as misinformation on
- 29:05Speaker 2: Twitter anymore. Is kind of the problem.
- 29:08Speaker 6: Like, ah, comedy is legal on Twitter though.
- 29:11Speaker 3: Yeah, that's true.
- 29:13Speaker 2: True? Are you both going to keep using it if
- 29:15Speaker 2: they start charging?
- 29:16Speaker 6: Will that be?
- 29:17Speaker 2: If it?
- 29:18Speaker 4: If it, if you have to pay for it no
- 29:20Speaker 4: matter what? Yeah?
- 29:21Speaker 6: Usually not, absolutely not.
- 29:23Speaker 4: I I like.
- 29:26Speaker 6: Three times a day I consider deleting it, and I'm
- 29:29Speaker 6: going to At some point I.
- 29:31Speaker 4: Considered, but I have long since decided that I am
- 29:34Speaker 4: just gonna be one of the rats on the sinking ship.
- 29:37Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 29:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I still have it, I just don't use it.
- 29:40Speaker 2: By the way, follow me on Instagram at Adam Todd
- 29:42Speaker 2: Brown for updates on this podcast and all the others.
- 29:47Speaker 3: Because here's the thing.
- 29:48Speaker 2: I can't keep a social media account going for every show,
- 29:52Speaker 2: like are you me? Like I just follow me like
- 29:56Speaker 2: their network like they're all my podcasts of cohed. I
- 30:00Speaker 2: don't have to set up a fucking social media for everything.
- 30:04Speaker 4: Uh.
- 30:04Speaker 2: But also, I'm not on X or Twitter. You're on
- 30:08Speaker 2: Blue Sky though, right I am on blue Sky.
- 30:10Speaker 6: There's just nothing going on over there.
- 30:13Speaker 3: Yeah, if you if you love disengagement.
- 30:18Speaker 6: For you, I kind of do love it.
- 30:20Speaker 5: It is kind of my favorite app that I have
- 30:22Speaker 5: now because I mean, it doesn't haunt my dreams.
- 30:26Speaker 2: Yeah, sure so. And I know even if I like
- 30:30Speaker 2: tweet or sorry skeet like the best possible thing, it's
- 30:35Speaker 2: it's gonna get like, you know, like one repost, maybe
- 30:38Speaker 2: six likes, like last night I skated the new Fraser
- 30:41Speaker 2: is gonna suck motherfuckers.
- 30:43Speaker 6: Oh did you know what?
- 30:44Speaker 2: I didn't get nearly the reaction something as provocative and
- 30:51Speaker 2: timely as that would normally get.
- 30:52Speaker 6: I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go. H what do you do? You?
- 30:56Speaker 6: Is it still just called liking or is it? I
- 30:59Speaker 6: don't know else do you?
- 31:00Speaker 2: I think it's jizzing, it's skeating. You post something and
- 31:08Speaker 2: then there's resked.
- 31:10Speaker 4: Instead of going viral, you get bockied.
- 31:13Speaker 3: Yeah, you get your stomach pumped.
- 31:19Speaker 4: Okay, George Michael, Uh well.
- 31:21Speaker 2: I'm I'm older than you, so my my frame of
- 31:24Speaker 2: reference is Rod Stewart. That's where I.
- 31:26Speaker 4: Don't know if George, I don't think I don't know
- 31:28Speaker 4: if that's an older reference than George Michael, is it.
- 31:30Speaker 4: I guess it's slightly older.
- 31:31Speaker 2: Yeah, Rod Stewart, And I was I.
- 31:34Speaker 4: Was thinking of Rod Stewart because I don't think that
- 31:36Speaker 4: was a George Michael.
- 31:38Speaker 2: Yeah, no, no, in peace, George Michael.
- 31:41Speaker 4: I love you, George out here.
- 31:43Speaker 2: Catching strays from conspiracy to show.
- 31:46Speaker 4: I'm sorry, I love you. The pictures of you cruising
- 31:49Speaker 4: in the park bathroom are iconic.
- 31:51Speaker 6: I really, I just liked it and re skeated.
- 31:55Speaker 2: Oh, thank you so much.
- 31:56Speaker 6: Good because you know what I'm you know what I'm
- 31:59Speaker 6: fucking tired of.
- 32:00Speaker 5: I'm tired of people acting like Kelsey Grammars cool and
- 32:03Speaker 5: it's fun to celebrate Kelsey Grammar.
- 32:06Speaker 4: Fuck that guy's piece of ship. Are people doing this?
- 32:10Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 32:10Speaker 6: People on ironically, you know, like we love Fraser.
- 32:14Speaker 4: It's just because I do love Fraser.
- 32:19Speaker 6: I just don't want Kelsey Grammar getting any more work.
- 32:22Speaker 3: Yeah, he's kind of an asshole, right.
- 32:24Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, he's like he's a far far right nutcase.
- 32:27Speaker 6: And also.
- 32:30Speaker 2: Yeah, uh and we let her come back.
- 32:34Speaker 6: Yeah, but then the show killed me off and continue
- 32:37Speaker 6: the show without her. Yeah, she went right back to
- 32:39Speaker 6: the fucking shadows.
- 32:41Speaker 4: Uh. You know, here's the thing about Twitter firing all
- 32:44Speaker 4: of its election misinformation staff. You're sorry, might be what
- 32:48Speaker 4: we were talking about, is they had to do that
- 32:52Speaker 4: because otherwise it would be the first time that the
- 32:54Speaker 4: owner of a website got kicked off for spreading misinformation.
- 32:58Speaker 4: Like they just had to get rid of them, otherwise
- 33:01Speaker 4: they'd have a real problem.
- 33:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I suppose.
- 33:03Speaker 4: So it's I'm sorry, I really brought it down by
- 33:06Speaker 4: bringing us back to time.
- 33:08Speaker 2: Sorry, we're having so much fun.
- 33:13Speaker 4: I don't we're riffing on Frasier and Blue Sky.
- 33:16Speaker 2: But yeah, they they fired everyone responsible for fighting misinformation
- 33:25Speaker 2: on Twitter. The people spreading it all have TV shows
- 33:29Speaker 2: on Twitter now.
- 33:31Speaker 5: Because it's a it's a fascist ground.
- 33:35Speaker 3: And it's a right wing website.
- 33:37Speaker 4: And my favorite thing to do on Twitter is to
- 33:38Speaker 4: watch videos over thirty minutes long. It's the best place.
- 33:42Speaker 2: To do that. Yeah, And like I talked shit, but
- 33:48Speaker 2: I mean I'm still using Instagram, and like Facebook was
- 33:51Speaker 2: causing genocides and.
- 33:52Speaker 4: Facebook is not clean of all of this.
- 33:57Speaker 5: Yeah, that's that when people were trying to get zuck
- 33:59Speaker 5: and must to fight.
- 34:00Speaker 6: Yeah, don't give a ship. I hope they kill each other.
- 34:05Speaker 4: Yeah, that would be now that I would watch that,
- 34:08Speaker 4: I would pay a little pay per view.
- 34:10Speaker 2: I would would be I would skate that, I'd all
- 34:13Speaker 2: over that. Yeah yeah, I would skeat and is it honestly.
- 34:18Speaker 4: Yeah, absolutely, And then I would re re put I'm
- 34:23Speaker 4: trying to think of a sexual thing for for retweeting,
- 34:26Speaker 4: but I can't.
- 34:27Speaker 2: There's nothing, no platform.
- 34:31Speaker 4: It was God, it was good for a while. As
- 34:35Speaker 4: much as I hated it always I always hated it,
- 34:38Speaker 4: I did like it a lot.
- 34:40Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, so yeah. All these people who got fired
- 34:43Speaker 2: are in Europe though, so.
- 34:45Speaker 4: Okay, well fuck them. Yeah, they get like five months
- 34:48Speaker 4: of free vacation.
- 34:49Speaker 6: They don't even know what an election is over there.
- 34:51Speaker 4: Yeah exactly.
- 34:52Speaker 6: Yeah, they all got kings.
- 34:54Speaker 2: And ship This is what really happened to these people.
- 34:57Speaker 2: And I know the like right wingers. I don't know
- 35:00Speaker 2: if they would admit it or not, but these people
- 35:02Speaker 2: more than got fired, they got canceled. Because what happened
- 35:08Speaker 2: is this guy named Aaron Rodericks posted on LinkedIn that
- 35:13Speaker 2: he worked for X and he was hiring like eight
- 35:18Speaker 2: people in the run up to the twenty twenty four
- 35:20Speaker 2: election to you know, police for misinformation on the platform,
- 35:25Speaker 2: as was his job, and right wingers noticed this post
- 35:30Speaker 2: and started an online harassment campaign against this guy that
- 35:36Speaker 2: ended in his boss, Elon Musk, siding with the people
- 35:41Speaker 2: who started the online campaign and agreeing that this guy
- 35:46Speaker 2: should be fired. He even posted a thing where he said, oh,
- 35:50Speaker 2: you mean the election integrity team that was undermining election integrity? Yeah,
- 35:56Speaker 2: they're gone. And that's the thing. Like these right wingers
- 35:59Speaker 2: started claiming that this guy was like working with the CIA,
- 36:03Speaker 2: yes on the twenty twenty four election, and Elon Musk
- 36:07Speaker 2: listened and was like, you're right, I'm gonna fire that
- 36:09Speaker 2: whole team. They got canceled by the crowd that is
- 36:14Speaker 2: so adamant that you can't just cancel people for well use.
- 36:19Speaker 4: No one loves canceling people more than the right. That's
- 36:23Speaker 4: that's always been their game. That has always been their
- 36:26Speaker 4: favorite thing to do, is chase people out of public
- 36:28Speaker 4: life and to.
- 36:30Speaker 6: Cancel entire communities.
- 36:33Speaker 2: Yeah, yes, exactly, am a graphics.
- 36:37Speaker 4: Yeah, but it is always only when they're like, oh,
- 36:39Speaker 4: they he's conspiring with the CIA to you know, help
- 36:44Speaker 4: the left, the liberals or whatever, you know.
- 36:47Speaker 6: Like leftist organizations.
- 36:52Speaker 4: I don't know, if I've ever said this on this
- 36:54Speaker 4: podcast before, but right wingers are so fucking stupid. They
- 37:00Speaker 4: don't even know who is on their goddamn team. They
- 37:03Speaker 4: are just they're just so mad and dumb that they
- 37:07Speaker 4: just fucking hate regardless of if people are serving their interests,
- 37:12Speaker 4: like the CIA.
- 37:13Speaker 5: So much of the fuel of in the engine of
- 37:16Speaker 5: fascism is just this desperate insecurity and need to be.
- 37:21Speaker 6: Liked by like, and that's what Musk is doing here.
- 37:24Speaker 4: He's just sure.
- 37:25Speaker 6: He just oh, this is what they want me to do.
- 37:28Speaker 6: This is what he is.
- 37:30Speaker 4: He is so pathetic. He is such a pathetic specimen
- 37:34Speaker 4: of humanity.
- 37:34Speaker 6: I don't understand how is there a board, Like how
- 37:38Speaker 6: has he not been removed yet?
- 37:40Speaker 4: I don't think that's how it works. But I don't know.
- 37:43Speaker 4: I mean, like, he what's he got to get removed
- 37:46Speaker 4: from owning the company?
- 37:48Speaker 2: Didn't he speak down as CEO?
- 37:51Speaker 4: Oh yeah he's not the CEO. Well, yeah, Linday Yakarino
- 37:55Speaker 4: is the CEO.
- 37:57Speaker 3: Yeah that.
- 38:00Speaker 2: I don't even think of Elon Musk when I think
- 38:02Speaker 2: of X now.
- 38:04Speaker 4: There was actually speaking of Linda Yakarino. This is a
- 38:07Speaker 4: little bonus story.
- 38:08Speaker 2: What a fun name.
- 38:10Speaker 4: I know it's great. She was in the event where
- 38:14Speaker 4: she brought up Elon Musk and everybody booed at him. No,
- 38:18Speaker 4: it was would anybody not want to work with Elon Musk?
- 38:21Speaker 4: And then a bunch of people raise their hands and laughed, Yeah.
- 38:28Speaker 2: What did she think was gonna happen? Like everyone was
- 38:30Speaker 2: going to be like, oh, fuck, yeah, I've worked with
- 38:31Speaker 2: you own Musk.
- 38:32Speaker 4: I think yes, that is what she thought.
- 38:36Speaker 6: I mean, as we keep seeing in the comedy world,
- 38:39Speaker 6: a lot of people will work with literally anyone that.
- 38:43Speaker 4: Is, I'm sure, but comedians are not really people. And
- 38:47Speaker 4: there's that.
- 38:49Speaker 2: But also even if you put comedians in that in
- 38:53Speaker 2: such a low stakes opportunity, to take that stance like
- 38:58Speaker 2: it's one thing, true, Linda Yakarino is asking you the
- 39:02Speaker 2: question at an event, It'd be another thing if Elon
- 39:05Speaker 2: Musk was in your face waving like five million dollars
- 39:08Speaker 2: in it, then it might be a different answer. But
- 39:11Speaker 2: in that environment, of course, people are gonna be like, nah, fuck.
- 39:14Speaker 4: If Musk wants to give me five million dollars right
- 39:19Speaker 4: now to say I like him, I will say that
- 39:22Speaker 4: I like him. I am not that principle and that's
- 39:26Speaker 4: an easy give. That is the easiest give I have
- 39:29Speaker 4: ever given.
- 39:31Speaker 3: See how about you? How about you Andy?
- 39:34Speaker 4: How about you Andy? Five million dollars.
- 39:37Speaker 6: It's pointless to even do these because that's okay five million, Yeah, sure, five,
- 39:42Speaker 6: that's literally seven.
- 39:46Speaker 2: All right, I'm just gonna say it, but I use
- 39:48Speaker 2: that five million dollars to I would not. But also
- 39:53Speaker 2: I hope this makes its way to Elon Musk and
- 39:55Speaker 2: he gives you both five million dollars.
- 39:58Speaker 3: Please just give me like two point five like.
- 40:04Speaker 4: Exactly, yeah, two point five.
- 40:07Speaker 6: That's chump change.
- 40:08Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly, you can. I mean, you're not gonna have
- 40:11Speaker 2: to pay taxes, are you? Well, gift tax? Probably?
- 40:13Speaker 4: Sure, but that's fine. That's still plenty of money.
- 40:18Speaker 6: Oh wait, there's taxes.
- 40:19Speaker 4: Yeah then no, yeah, oh okay sure.
- 40:23Speaker 6: And it's not because less money. It's the principle of
- 40:26Speaker 6: taxation is well, of course, read the federalist papers.
- 40:30Speaker 4: All right, federalist papers, exactly, all right.
- 40:36Speaker 3: You're not gonna believe it.
- 40:38Speaker 2: Update on one of my least favorite conspiracy stories of
- 40:41Speaker 2: all time. Oh yes, right wing judges are now using
- 40:46Speaker 2: the Ivermectin controversy to silence the FDA at least they're
- 40:53Speaker 2: trying to, and even then they're not really trying that hard.
- 40:56Speaker 2: Don't let this headline alarm you too much. Sure come
- 41:00Speaker 2: acrossed it. I've said before that I hate the way
- 41:03Speaker 2: we covered the ivermectin story, Like as a society, I
- 41:06Speaker 2: think I think our side went a little dangerously toward
- 41:12Speaker 2: almost like promoting the idea that you could use the
- 41:16Speaker 2: horse version safely, because like all the jokes around Joe
- 41:20Speaker 2: Rogan were like, oh, he's taken horse drugs. Well, his
- 41:23Speaker 2: followers are going to see that and see that Joe
- 41:25Speaker 2: Rogan was fine, and they're gonna go ooop, I can
- 41:27Speaker 2: take the horse drugs. And no, Joe Rogan wasn't taking
- 41:30Speaker 2: the horse drugs. Granted he was taking a drug that
- 41:32Speaker 2: didn't work to write fight COVID, but he was taking
- 41:37Speaker 2: a human version of the drug, horse drugs.
- 41:42Speaker 5: The fact that it's horse that hanging clinging onto that,
- 41:46Speaker 5: it's almost like that the Attorney General saying brainwashed, where
- 41:49Speaker 5: it's like, sure, this is hyperbole, you're stretching it for
- 41:52Speaker 5: the joke. I get it, it's funny, But also the
- 41:55Speaker 5: important thing to hear is not that it's a medicine
- 41:57Speaker 5: for horses, but that it's what en anti parasite.
- 42:00Speaker 6: It's like a deworming kind of drug, right, yeah, idah, and.
- 42:05Speaker 3: It's one it won like a Nobel Prize.
- 42:08Speaker 4: It's an interesting drug.
- 42:09Speaker 3: It's human use like, it's not a drug that has
- 42:13Speaker 3: never been used. Well yeah, no anything.
- 42:15Speaker 6: Yeah, parasites are gnarly.
- 42:17Speaker 5: We need drugs to parasites for sure, but it just
- 42:21Speaker 5: that's what the drug is for, not for respiratyl.
- 42:25Speaker 4: I mean, we don't want to we don't need to
- 42:26Speaker 4: religate the entire thing. But it did have some interesting
- 42:29Speaker 4: use cases outside of parasites, but nothing that was nothing
- 42:34Speaker 4: that would make you think, oh, this will also cure
- 42:36Speaker 4: my COVID.
- 42:37Speaker 6: Yeah. A lot of times that's true.
- 42:39Speaker 5: A lot of times pharmaceuticals do have like you know,
- 42:41Speaker 5: they're being developed for one thing, but they have other uses.
- 42:44Speaker 6: That are that are more util usable.
- 42:46Speaker 4: Yeah. Like, it's a fascinating drug with a good, interesting history,
- 42:50Speaker 4: but unfortunately not what people were taking.
- 42:54Speaker 1: Right.
- 42:54Speaker 2: And it sucks that it didn't work because it's very
- 42:57Speaker 2: cheap and readily available, which is why people were looking
- 43:02Speaker 2: into it. But yeah, the way it was reported, like
- 43:05Speaker 2: Andy said, people could not let go of the horse
- 43:08Speaker 2: drug aspect, and that's kind of what this lawsuit with
- 43:13Speaker 2: the FDA is about, because at one point during all
- 43:17Speaker 2: of this, the FDA tweeted a thing that was like
- 43:21Speaker 2: stop it, you are not a horse, and like with
- 43:24Speaker 2: hashtags and yes, probably this stallion emoji or something.
- 43:30Speaker 4: The awful trend of government agencies tweeting, yes, which just
- 43:36Speaker 4: needs to stop.
- 43:37Speaker 5: And well they got the idea from corporate brands, Well
- 43:41Speaker 5: they need to stop to Yeah.
- 43:43Speaker 2: So the thing is, it's fine if the FDA wants
- 43:46Speaker 2: to tweet, like that's as bit of a way to
- 43:49Speaker 2: get information out as any especially at that point in history,
- 43:53Speaker 2: but just don't be all social media cute about it.
- 43:57Speaker 4: That's I guess that's what I mean. Really, Yeah, that's
- 44:00Speaker 4: support that sucks.
- 44:01Speaker 5: Like I'm just the FDA tweeting a gift of the
- 44:06Speaker 5: fucking guy with the steering wheel, and I think you
- 44:09Speaker 5: should leave with like anctin.
- 44:12Speaker 6: Like photoshopped over it. That's what the FDA is doing.
- 44:15Speaker 4: Yeah, the FDA does not need to clap back at anybody.
- 44:20Speaker 4: The needs to issue warning, the needs to administer food
- 44:26Speaker 4: and drug exactly.
- 44:29Speaker 5: Approvals and information not and that's wind flame wars and.
- 44:35Speaker 3: That's kind of what this lawsuit was about.
- 44:37Speaker 2: There were these three doctors who had been prescribing ivermectin
- 44:42Speaker 2: to treat their patients. And again that's like if you
- 44:45Speaker 2: and your doctor talk about it and you go for it,
- 44:47Speaker 2: like that's.
- 44:48Speaker 3: That's fucking up to you.
- 44:50Speaker 2: Yeah, And their whole thing was, well, we lost our jobs,
- 44:54Speaker 2: we lost all our credibility because people thought we were
- 44:57Speaker 2: prescribing horse drugs. They were like, we were not prescribing
- 45:01Speaker 2: horse drugs, and like the FDA did issue a separate
- 45:07Speaker 2: statement that was like, well here's why you know. The
- 45:09Speaker 2: human version isn't really gonna help either. But like when
- 45:13Speaker 2: they posted that, they did like the horse joke thing
- 45:16Speaker 2: too right, And these doctors were like, you fucking wrecked
- 45:20Speaker 2: our careers, which probably not true, but they sued in
- 45:25Speaker 2: that case got thrown out, but then it got picked
- 45:28Speaker 2: up by the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, which sounds
- 45:33Speaker 2: like it needs its own sitcom. Like they just sound
- 45:37Speaker 2: like a haphazard bunch of right wing lunatics.
- 45:41Speaker 6: Yeah, it's Colonel Clinkshit.
- 45:45Speaker 2: Like they're just firing off the craziest opinions knowing someone's
- 45:50Speaker 2: gonna be like fucking no undo that that thing you
- 45:53Speaker 2: just did, like that just happened recently. They issued some
- 45:57Speaker 2: ruling and like immediately had to come back eight hours
- 46:00Speaker 2: later and be like, just kidding, that's against what we did.
- 46:05Speaker 2: And so they picked this case up. And that's kind
- 46:09Speaker 2: of their argument is that, well, the FDA can like advise,
- 46:13Speaker 2: but they can't recommend. They can't like tell you to
- 46:17Speaker 2: stop taking a drug, which is in effect what they did.
- 46:21Speaker 2: They said stop taking ivermectin and made it seem like
- 46:25Speaker 2: it was a drug strictly for horses. So the appeals
- 46:28Speaker 2: court picked that up. But also again, this is a
- 46:32Speaker 2: is a wacky bunch and all they really did was
- 46:35Speaker 2: send it back to the original judge. And we're like, okay,
- 46:39Speaker 2: but what if you thought the twenty twenty election was stolen?
- 46:42Speaker 2: Would that would that sway your opinion at all? Like
- 46:46Speaker 2: what if you think Jesus appointed Donald Trump as our
- 46:49Speaker 2: forever president? Then would you maybe rule differently? Like I
- 46:53Speaker 2: don't know what they're fucking expecting. No judge is going
- 46:56Speaker 2: to get this from these people and be like oh yeah,
- 46:58Speaker 2: you're right.
- 47:00Speaker 6: Yeah yeah, oh yeah. The the organization that was created
- 47:04Speaker 6: to tell people what drugs are safe to take, and
- 47:06Speaker 6: what drugs are not safe to take.
- 47:08Speaker 4: They can no longer do that, right, Yeah, they can't
- 47:11Speaker 4: tell you. They can tell you if it's safe, they
- 47:14Speaker 4: just can't tell you not to take it. I mean,
- 47:16Speaker 4: I'm fine if it's safe.
- 47:18Speaker 6: I'm fine if the court comes down back with a
- 47:20Speaker 6: like okay, but like, don't meme it anymore, all right, right,
- 47:24Speaker 6: not you're not the federal dunking administration.
- 47:29Speaker 4: If the ruling comes back as you're no longer allowed
- 47:31Speaker 4: to tweet through it, then I'm fine with it. Yeah.
- 47:35Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, because that is legislation we need. I've said
- 47:39Speaker 2: it before. The minute Obama tweeted we as a nation
- 47:42Speaker 2: the worst, we should have taken to the streets and
- 47:45Speaker 2: been like nope, yeah, no, president doesn't get to talk
- 47:48Speaker 2: to us that way.
- 47:50Speaker 4: No politicians Honestly, as much as I like AOC or whatever,
- 47:54Speaker 4: like I don't need any of them to have Twitter accounts.
- 47:58Speaker 2: Yeah, but we were like, oh, well, Bama's the social
- 48:00Speaker 2: media president. Now Trump's the social president.
- 48:04Speaker 4: Yeah, and he's the real social media He's like if
- 48:09Speaker 4: social media became president.
- 48:12Speaker 6: Guess what. It's not a public utility.
- 48:15Speaker 5: It's a private corporation, which means it's going to amplify,
- 48:20Speaker 5: not the not the egalitarian voices no speaking of I
- 48:25Speaker 5: remember when f the f d A had Tignaitaro's Twitter
- 48:29Speaker 5: and they were supposed to give it to me, and
- 48:30Speaker 5: they they gave it to Dave Ross instead.
- 48:33Speaker 2: Wow, I've never had Twitter.
- 48:39Speaker 4: That kind of falls on Dave for not sending it
- 48:41Speaker 4: over to you. Yeah, well he don't know better.
- 48:44Speaker 6: He'd already promised it to Obama, so and.
- 48:47Speaker 4: All he's and all he tweeted was what day is it?
- 48:52Speaker 4: It's a real deep.
- 48:55Speaker 6: Dave Ross stands. Who listen?
- 48:59Speaker 3: I mean, I love Dave Ross.
- 49:01Speaker 2: He's part of that twenty sixteen Chicago Cubs world.
- 49:07Speaker 6: Also, you can't forget his Dancing with the Stars stint.
- 49:10Speaker 3: Right right exactly.
- 49:12Speaker 4: Yeah, I feel like I've I'm totally out of step
- 49:16Speaker 4: with whatever you guys you're talking about.
- 49:18Speaker 3: I am too, Like what Dave Ross?
- 49:20Speaker 2: Are you talking?
- 49:21Speaker 6: Comedian? Dave Ross, the comedian Dave Ross, not the Chicago
- 49:25Speaker 6: Cubs catcher.
- 49:27Speaker 2: He's still he's their manager now yeah.
- 49:29Speaker 5: Well yeah, yeah, yeah, but he's as far as I'm concerned,
- 49:32Speaker 5: the Cubs existed as an organization until twenty sixteen.
- 49:35Speaker 2: I mean, they're doing all right, this year, we're in
- 49:37Speaker 2: the playoff. Hunt got some some young rookies. Yeah, it's fine,
- 49:41Speaker 2: that's for another podcast.
- 49:42Speaker 6: Yeah, let's I don't even like sports.
- 49:46Speaker 4: Me either.
- 49:47Speaker 6: Well, we're talking about again Jeff Ross.
- 49:49Speaker 2: Well i'll tell you once Ross. So yeah, let's talk
- 49:55Speaker 2: about one last story that also serves as a reminder that,
- 49:59Speaker 2: you know, sometimes some people just shouldn't talk, like yeah,
- 50:03Speaker 2: some people just should go somewhere and like shut up forever.
- 50:08Speaker 2: And I think Giuliani qualifies as one of those people.
- 50:13Speaker 6: Remember for like a week when we thought that guy
- 50:15Speaker 6: was just gonna melt.
- 50:16Speaker 3: Yeah, I remember. Remember for a week when we thought
- 50:19Speaker 3: he was going to save America.
- 50:23Speaker 6: No, I don't remember that.
- 50:24Speaker 4: I actually don't remember that one.
- 50:26Speaker 3: I mean nine to eleven, he was pretty popular.
- 50:28Speaker 4: He was very popular in two thousand and one.
- 50:32Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what I mean. But yeah, he's hit the
- 50:35Speaker 2: point where he should probably shut up. Now he's getting
- 50:39Speaker 2: sued by Hunter Biden, someone who, to his credit, I've
- 50:43Speaker 2: never heard him talk.
- 50:45Speaker 4: Yeah. No, I don't know anything about that guy other
- 50:48Speaker 4: than what right wingers say.
- 50:50Speaker 2: Yeah, so I know what is not true about him. Yeah,
- 50:53Speaker 2: all I know about Hunter Biden is what right wingers
- 50:56Speaker 2: steal from his computer, which.
- 50:59Speaker 4: Or allegedly, speaking of.
- 51:01Speaker 2: That, Rudy Giuliani is being sued by Hunter Biden because
- 51:06Speaker 2: Juliani broke into Hunter Biden's computer or someone working on
- 51:10Speaker 2: Juliani's behalf hacked into Hunter Biden's computer and stole a
- 51:16Speaker 2: bunch of data from him. And here's the thing that
- 51:18Speaker 2: is a crime. It's just usually pretty hard to prosecute
- 51:22Speaker 2: because you don't really know who did it, Like there
- 51:25Speaker 2: might be a digital trail of some sort, but people
- 51:27Speaker 2: who are good enough at it to do that aren't
- 51:30Speaker 2: going to leave a ton of evidence under a week.
- 51:33Speaker 2: So to actually get caught doing that, you have to
- 51:38Speaker 2: do something like, say, go on an episode of your
- 51:42Speaker 2: podcast and hold up a laptop and say this belongs
- 51:48Speaker 2: to Hunter Biden and then drag for a few minutes
- 51:52Speaker 2: about how you copied all the data from that computer
- 51:55Speaker 2: to your own computer, and then you're gonna want to
- 51:59Speaker 2: upload that to Apple podcast Stitcher. That's not a thing anymore.
- 52:05Speaker 2: You know, all the hosts like all the platforms, so
- 52:08Speaker 2: people hear it, and then you can be sued for
- 52:11Speaker 2: breaking into someone's.
- 52:12Speaker 4: Com You know, I gotta say, this is an interesting
- 52:14Speaker 4: way to learn that Rudy Giuliani has a podcast sounds
- 52:19Speaker 4: like a fucking nightmare.
- 52:20Speaker 3: Jesus America's mayor live.
- 52:24Speaker 4: Fuck off. There's no way that's live. No the hell.
- 52:30Speaker 2: If it is, and you're able to call in, Oh boy,
- 52:33Speaker 2: would I like to call in?
- 52:34Speaker 4: Well that should be an episode, definitely.
- 52:39Speaker 3: And that is exactly what he did.
- 52:40Speaker 2: He went on his podcast and was like, ah, Hunter
- 52:43Speaker 2: Biden's laptop, see and so take me alive. Say Biden's
- 52:50Speaker 2: suing him. And here's the thing, like, fuck both sides
- 52:53Speaker 2: of this story, Like, Hunter Biden can burn for all
- 52:55Speaker 2: I care. I'm sure I.
- 52:56Speaker 4: Don't give a fuck about Hunter Biden.
- 53:00Speaker 6: Biden is the Marie Antoinette of our time.
- 53:05Speaker 4: Like, look, the only thing, the only time I would
- 53:08Speaker 4: ever care about Hunter Biden is if he's passing the blunt,
- 53:11Speaker 4: that is it.
- 53:12Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, yeah, Look, apparently he's got a lot of
- 53:15Speaker 5: porn videos of himself. Uh cool, Yeah, that's all right. Sure,
- 53:20Speaker 5: he's he's attractive.
- 53:22Speaker 4: You can get the Hunter.
- 53:26Speaker 6: He's look as Sean Williams Scott character.
- 53:29Speaker 2: He's he looks like my old boss at Playboy, Like yeah, oh.
- 53:35Speaker 6: Really, oh shit, yeah, he just you know, he's yeah,
- 53:40Speaker 6: fuck him, Like I'm sure he's an asshole. I'm sure
- 53:43Speaker 6: he's an asshole. I'm sure if I met him, I
- 53:45Speaker 6: would hate him. But also like anytime his name comes up,
- 53:47Speaker 6: I can't help but be like, poor kid, never had
- 53:50Speaker 6: a chance.
- 53:51Speaker 4: No, and like and look, you know, I don't like
- 53:54Speaker 4: the guy. I don't really care about him one or
- 53:56Speaker 4: the other, but you do make a good point at him,
- 53:58Speaker 4: and that if this were done, like Don Junior is
- 54:02Speaker 4: just as much of a criminal as Hunter Biden or
- 54:04Speaker 4: maybe more. And that guy and that guy was on
- 54:08Speaker 4: every goddamn news network and non Twitter and everywhere, talking NonStop.
- 54:15Speaker 4: And I will take Hunter Biden over that shit any
- 54:19Speaker 4: day of the week.
- 54:20Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, Like Hunter Biden takes pictures of himself smoking crack.
- 54:28Speaker 4: Crack.
- 54:29Speaker 6: This is what I'm saying.
- 54:30Speaker 2: You gotta love it. Crack holds. I think the lone
- 54:34Speaker 2: distinction of being the one drug that it's still not
- 54:38Speaker 2: cool to you is true. You could tell someone you
- 54:43Speaker 2: tried heroin and they're gonna be like, oh shit, what
- 54:46Speaker 2: was it Like if you tell them you smoked.
- 54:48Speaker 3: Crack, they're gonna be like, you degenerate, fucked.
- 54:51Speaker 5: This is how you know is because there's no songs
- 54:54Speaker 5: about how great doing crack is. Like even crack songs
- 54:58Speaker 5: crack raps, they're about selling crack, they're not about doing it.
- 55:02Speaker 4: Yeah it's true. Yeah, they're still crack.
- 55:07Speaker 6: Even meth is sexier than crack.
- 55:09Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 55:10Speaker 2: Even The Wire was more about heroine.
- 55:12Speaker 3: Oh yeah, like yeah, the only cool.
- 55:15Speaker 2: Shows about crack are the ones about how the c
- 55:17Speaker 2: I a solder.
- 55:19Speaker 4: Ye I was just thinking about Snowfall, yeah, exactly.
- 55:22Speaker 2: Which is just like a mainstream TV show and is
- 55:27Speaker 2: still in business. Yep, great, they're not canceled.
- 55:30Speaker 4: Wow.
- 55:32Speaker 2: So, Hunter Biden, how do we feel about the laptop story?
- 55:37Speaker 2: I feel like it is a mix of fact and fiction.
- 55:41Speaker 2: I don't doubt that they found some ship on Hunter
- 55:44Speaker 2: Biden's laptop, but I also don't think the laptop that
- 55:49Speaker 2: was taken to that store was Hunter Biden's laptop.
- 55:53Speaker 4: No, yeah, I definitely don't think the blind pawnshop guy.
- 55:58Speaker 6: It's like.
- 56:01Speaker 2: It's not an accident that they just like they didn't
- 56:03Speaker 2: just stumble upon the one semi blind, right wing leaning
- 56:08Speaker 2: computer hair shop in the Northeast exactly, laptop off and
- 56:14Speaker 2: go hello, I am Hunter Biden. I'm never coming back
- 56:18Speaker 2: for this like what the fuck? And yeah, people ask
- 56:22Speaker 2: Juliani to just well, like, you know, show us, show
- 56:26Speaker 2: us the evidence you have against Hunter Biden. I say
- 56:29Speaker 2: it all the time. His response was no, because you'll
- 56:33Speaker 2: just try to debunk it.
- 56:34Speaker 4: Well, yes, exactly exactly, like.
- 56:38Speaker 6: Any you know what if you fucking got me, rudy,
- 56:43Speaker 6: Oh how just.
- 56:44Speaker 2: Sniff out my liberal agenda kind of verify that outlandish
- 56:50Speaker 2: claims about a person or true.
- 56:53Speaker 7: Uh yeah, Like my main takeaway from Hunter Biden left,
- 56:56Speaker 7: I was like, don't give ship whatsoever could be true,
- 57:00Speaker 7: it could be false.
- 57:01Speaker 4: Who cares?
- 57:02Speaker 6: The only reason I would give a shit is because
- 57:04Speaker 6: it means that like, if he gets away with this,
- 57:07Speaker 6: it's like, well, truly there's no filter.
- 57:10Speaker 5: I mean there obviously already wasn't one. But like, it's
- 57:13Speaker 5: not so much that I worry about Hunter Biden.
- 57:15Speaker 6: And his security. It's like everybody else that this could
- 57:19Speaker 6: be a precedent for if like but also it's definitely
- 57:23Speaker 6: not his laptop, like at least the one Julian holding
- 57:26Speaker 6: up that's a prop.
- 57:27Speaker 4: Probably probably, but he did admit to a crime on
- 57:31Speaker 4: a on a recording, and yeah, if that ended up
- 57:34Speaker 4: with if it ends up with Rudy Giuliani going to
- 57:37Speaker 4: prison or suffering some sort of consequences. I would go
- 57:41Speaker 4: into that.
- 57:42Speaker 6: That would be preferable. Actually, yeah, yeah, I can't. I
- 57:45Speaker 6: can't even say, oh, I don't care if he goes No,
- 57:46Speaker 6: I want him to.
- 57:48Speaker 4: No. I would like for him the motherfucker. Yeah, I
- 57:51Speaker 4: would like for him to suffer. That would be good.
- 57:53Speaker 2: And you know what, it's also fine that Hunter Biden
- 57:55Speaker 2: might go to jail.
- 57:56Speaker 4: Sure, I don't really care. This is the whole right
- 57:58Speaker 4: wing thing where they think that because they would be
- 58:02Speaker 4: scandalized if like Don Junior was sent to prison or whatever,
- 58:07Speaker 4: and they would be up in arms that we would
- 58:09Speaker 4: be up in arms about Hunter Biden going to prison,
- 58:11Speaker 4: when that is just not how people on the left operate. No,
- 58:14Speaker 4: that is literally just it's the same with all the like,
- 58:18Speaker 4: how would you feel if a remember a congressman that
- 58:22Speaker 4: you cared about was in this scandal and it's like,
- 58:25Speaker 4: well fuck him?
- 58:26Speaker 5: Okay, yeah, you know how I've slept like a fucking
- 58:29Speaker 5: baby since Al Franken left town.
- 58:31Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 58:32Speaker 6: I like him a shit.
- 58:34Speaker 4: It's like, oh, what if Clinton was on Jeffrey Epstein's plane,
- 58:37Speaker 4: Well fuck him, he should fucking burn in hell.
- 58:40Speaker 5: Jesus well, or even like anytime, you know, like Tucker
- 58:44Speaker 5: Carlson where it's like, oh, yeah, you're gonna cancel Tucker.
- 58:47Speaker 6: Let's see what you'll say if we come for Bill Maher.
- 58:50Speaker 4: Please, I always love that one.
- 58:52Speaker 6: Please, we'll tie him up for you.
- 58:54Speaker 4: It's very funny that they think our version of Tucker
- 58:59Speaker 4: Carlson is Bill Maher, and I guess they're I guess
- 59:02Speaker 4: they're not wrong, Like I guess he's kind of what
- 59:06Speaker 4: it is, but it really says more about Tucker Carlson
- 59:10Speaker 4: than anybody else.
- 59:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 59:13Speaker 2: Yeah, it seems so confusing because like, I don't think
- 59:16Speaker 2: our side wants a Tucker Carlson, but we have, and
- 59:20Speaker 2: it's Bill Maher.
- 59:21Speaker 4: Like yeah, and we don't like him.
- 59:23Speaker 5: Yeah, well I don't even think he's he's not I
- 59:25Speaker 5: don't consider him our side because he's well, he's basically
- 59:29Speaker 5: a right wing but.
- 59:31Speaker 6: From the but from the liberal moron, classical liberal.
- 59:35Speaker 4: Yeah, fucking mouth breathing right wing pieces of ship.
- 59:40Speaker 2: Yeah all right, I think we did it. That's our episode.
- 59:43Speaker 2: You know everything they need to know now?
- 59:46Speaker 6: Yeah, are well equipped to handle the world.
- 59:49Speaker 2: Yeah, everybody tomorrow when you're chit chat and someone says
- 59:56Speaker 2: the word conspiracy. Now you got something to talk about.
- 59:59Speaker 6: Yeah, the new Fraser, you can tell them it's gonna suck.
- 1:00:03Speaker 4: Yeah, the new Fraser will suck.
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: Uh.
- 1:00:06Speaker 4: But people don't have water coolers now, they're too busy
- 1:00:09Speaker 4: being on their fucking phone.
- 1:00:11Speaker 6: Yeah, millennials. Millennials killed the water cooler industry.
- 1:00:15Speaker 4: Avocado phones.
- 1:00:17Speaker 6: Nobody wants the water cooler anymore.
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, in their defense, I did try the
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: water cooler app and it's pretty fucking great.
- 1:00:25Speaker 4: Like yeah, I mean it rules.
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: It's like the water like you can fit like five
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: gallons in your phone.
- 1:00:32Speaker 4: How how crazy?
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: It's crazy?
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: So thank you both for doing odd. Uh what do
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: we have to plug before we get out of here?
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: I have a show November tenth at the Sardine and
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: San Pedro. I'm on the lineup, Connor mcspadden, Lindsay Adams.
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: We're all doing comedy and then there's gonna be bands
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: after Danger. Van Gorder and countless thousands are doing a
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: set and then, uh, you know some other bands your
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: eyes peeled for that. Tickets will be on sale soon.
- 1:01:04Speaker 4: I love other bands.
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: Yeah, other bands are great, but so is countless thousands
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: come see them.
- 1:01:09Speaker 6: Yeah, I only like countless thousands. I do not like
- 1:01:13Speaker 6: any other bands.
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: That's fair, that's fair.
- 1:01:16Speaker 3: Andy. What do you got to plug?
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: Uh?
- 1:01:19Speaker 6: Look good for the boys? Same thing I plug every time.
- 1:01:22Speaker 6: We're in season six. Now we're taking a little saw
- 1:01:27Speaker 6: to see through the Saw movies. And that's that's what's
- 1:01:31Speaker 6: going on with me. Might have some other stuff up
- 1:01:33Speaker 6: my sleeves, but at the moment, that's it cool.
- 1:01:39Speaker 4: You know, I'm on x dot com at hyderhid but
- 1:01:45Speaker 4: I would just like to take this moment to to
- 1:01:48Speaker 4: personally shout out whoever spoofed my debit card and went
- 1:01:53Speaker 4: on a four thousand dollars gasoline shopping spree through the valley. Stop,
- 1:01:59Speaker 4: please stop. I'm really sick of spending every morning on
- 1:02:03Speaker 4: the phone with Chase getting your ship reversed, So please
- 1:02:06Speaker 4: stop stealing my money. I don't have very much.
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: That sucks.
- 1:02:11Speaker 4: The valley, the valley where the whole hermano.
- 1:02:17Speaker 6: Are they getting out to?
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: Encino, north Ridge, Chatsworthino, Carson yea, oh.
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: Gosh, just buying gas everywhere.
- 1:02:26Speaker 4: Or you know, and it's expensive, like getting two hundred
- 1:02:28Speaker 4: dollars chargers at the time at multiple gas stations yet.
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: So yeah, that's like a ring.
- 1:02:34Speaker 6: It's it's yeah, it's something that's gotta be.
- 1:02:37Speaker 4: Yeah, it probably is.
- 1:02:38Speaker 6: It might be shouldn't have gone to the you know,
- 1:02:41Speaker 6: the Liquid Zoo or whatever I was gonna say.
- 1:02:43Speaker 4: There was a four hundred dollars charge from the Liquid Zoo.
- 1:02:47Speaker 4: That's really that was what it was.
- 1:02:49Speaker 6: All right, Talmo, Talmo's got your card, and uh I
- 1:02:56Speaker 6: think that's it.
- 1:02:58Speaker 3: Stop using Olivia's debit card.
- 1:02:59Speaker 4: Please, please, please, please.
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: And goodbye everybody.
