- 0:01Speaker 1: Now or Presents Mark some mo own show. All right,

- 0:11Speaker 1: caught up on everything and give you all the insight
- 0:14Speaker 1: details on everything. We'll get to the snowstorm, exact stuff
- 0:17Speaker 1: on what we know about the snowstorm coming late, very
- 0:21Speaker 1: late Saturday night. Then we'll get to the Oscar nominations.
- 0:25Speaker 1: They're out. We'll get to Davos. In fact, I'll expell
- 0:28Speaker 1: you how all this Davos works, and then we'll get
- 0:31Speaker 1: to the Trump speech, the highlight of of Davos. How
- 0:36Speaker 1: to be Scott Bessett going after Gavin Newsom. Let you
- 0:40Speaker 1: hear that the Clintons are in contempt of Congress. They
- 0:44Speaker 1: are facing criminal charges. We'll explain why and all of
- 0:47Speaker 1: that coming up. That weirdo, bug eyed weirdo Jack Smith
- 0:51Speaker 1: testifies today in front of Congress. Now, when people get
- 0:56Speaker 1: a look at him, he says, I mean, if you
- 0:58Speaker 1: were doing Law and Order or Blue Bloods, or you
- 1:02Speaker 1: need to have cast somebody as a psycho killer Jack Smith,
- 1:06Speaker 1: you might get he looks like a bit of a madman,
- 1:08Speaker 1: very strange guy. We'll get to him. We'll get to Hey,
- 1:12Speaker 1: you know you're not allowed to say illegals anymore, illegal aliens.
- 1:15Speaker 1: But apparently this is the new CNN campaign the left
- 1:19Speaker 1: now campaigning can't use the word illegal anymore. We'll get
- 1:22Speaker 1: to all of that coming up. So just got the snowstorm.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Here's the latest. Now, sometimes you'll see different forecasts because
- 1:31Speaker 1: there's several models that are used to calculate all this.
- 1:37Speaker 2: Now.
- 1:37Speaker 1: One model, the American model, one model they call the
- 1:39Speaker 1: European model, and there's a couple others, so they differ
- 1:43Speaker 1: a little which and a lot of this has to
- 1:47Speaker 1: do with let's see, it's Thursday, Friday, Saturdays. Yeah, so
- 1:52Speaker 1: we're within three days. It becomes more and more certain
- 1:55Speaker 1: when you're within three days. Weather can change. A forecast
- 1:58Speaker 1: really only is really accurate for about three days. But
- 2:03Speaker 1: let's go with the most popular model, which shows the
- 2:07Speaker 1: storm will start Saturday after midnight, most likely around one am.
- 2:14Speaker 1: The snow will start at one am at Saturday night
- 2:17Speaker 1: and middle of the night Saturday and continue until Monday
- 2:22Speaker 1: morning at seven am, which means overnight Saturday, all day Sunday,
- 2:27Speaker 1: overnight Sunday night, and then end Monday morning. Some models
- 2:32Speaker 1: show six inches, some show as much as seventeen the
- 2:36Speaker 1: most popular and usually the most accurate model is now
- 2:40Speaker 1: showing six to twelve inches, so major storm, and it's
- 2:44Speaker 1: coming right over the New York area, right over New York,
- 2:47Speaker 1: right over New Jersey, Long Island, Fairfield County, Westchester County.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Usually we don't get the worst of these snowstorms, but
- 2:53Speaker 1: in this case we'll get the full impact. So Saturday,
- 2:58Speaker 1: and the other problem is it's going to be freezing cold,
- 3:02Speaker 1: bitterly cold, you know, like a real feel like ten
- 3:04Speaker 1: degrees that kind of cold all day Saturday. In fact,
- 3:08Speaker 1: Friday would be late in the afternoon, night overnight it'll
- 3:13Speaker 1: start getting really cold, and then Saturday will be the
- 3:15Speaker 1: coldest day. And then Sunday you're probably not gonna want
- 3:18Speaker 1: to go out anyway because that's the snowstorm. So one
- 3:21Speaker 1: o'clock in the morning Saturday, right now, that's the projected
- 3:24Speaker 1: start time of the snow. It will go all day Sunday,
- 3:27Speaker 1: overnight Monday stop Monday morning, but completely most likely completely
- 3:33Speaker 1: screw up Monday's rush hour, so it'll be a mess.
- 3:36Speaker 1: It'll take days to dig out of that. You know,
- 3:39Speaker 1: if you're worried about shoveling your driveway, your sidewalk. This
- 3:42Speaker 1: Remember the most important thing. Don't wait till the snow's
- 3:45Speaker 1: all there and start shoveling, because you could have a
- 3:47Speaker 1: foot of snow. You don't want to shovel that. So
- 3:49Speaker 1: every couple of inches, go out and shovel it, salt
- 3:52Speaker 1: it every couple of inches, and that way when it's
- 3:55Speaker 1: over you'll only have a couple of inches left. It'll
- 3:57Speaker 1: be easier. So if you just got back from Davos,
- 4:01Speaker 1: you won't mind. Because Davos looks like a blizzard. It's
- 4:04Speaker 1: kind of a dumpy place, you know, when you go
- 4:06Speaker 1: to these Swiss resorts, whether it's sammurtz Stad beautiful luxurious,
- 4:13Speaker 1: super luxurious ski resorts, when you go to Davos, it's
- 4:18Speaker 1: basically a dump. Everything's a dump there. The hotels are dumpy.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Everything is crappy there. The buildings are awful. Even where
- 4:25Speaker 1: they hold this world economic form, it looks good inside.
- 4:28Speaker 1: They put a lot of nice lighting and a beautiful scenery,
- 4:31Speaker 1: but it's just a dumpy place. The very super wealthy
- 4:36Speaker 1: that go to Davos every year, Oligarch's billionaires don't even
- 4:39Speaker 1: bother to stay in those hotels. They over the years
- 4:42Speaker 1: have started to own all the chalets. There's a lot
- 4:45Speaker 1: of chalets around this area, so they own them. They
- 4:49Speaker 1: fix them up with gyms and saunas and everything, and
- 4:52Speaker 1: there's a lot of locals there that make a lot
- 4:56Speaker 1: of money. When all these zillionaires come over and stay
- 4:58Speaker 1: in their chalets. These local go to work as drivers,
- 5:02Speaker 1: as staff take care of these chalets. And by the way,
- 5:07Speaker 1: one thing about Davos, it is the biggest event of
- 5:10Speaker 1: the year for hookers, especially in Europe, Russia, all those places.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Every major hooker, i mean prostitute that deal in a
- 5:20Speaker 1: high end prostitution, they descend on Davos for this week.
- 5:23Speaker 1: It's a huge, huge week for them. If you want
- 5:28Speaker 1: to go to Davos, yeah, you can buy a ticket.
- 5:30Speaker 1: You actually can. Companies buy them. The big big tickets
- 5:34Speaker 1: they buy are a million dollars. But that includes sponsorship
- 5:38Speaker 1: and all sorts of stuff that gets you total access
- 5:41Speaker 1: to every VIP everything. If you don't want full total
- 5:46Speaker 1: absolute VIP everything, but you want to you know, good
- 5:49Speaker 1: seats and all that, that's about seventy five thousand to
- 5:53Speaker 1: get in. There are a lot of thirty five thousand
- 5:56Speaker 1: dollars things. Now, if you get the seventy five thousand dollars,
- 6:00Speaker 1: you get extras, you get a special badge just for
- 6:04Speaker 1: the elites there, but a lot of people are paying
- 6:08Speaker 1: seventy five thousand. And now the other thing is, once
- 6:13Speaker 1: you get there, everything is a fortune. Everything a hot
- 6:17Speaker 1: dog is forty dollars. Literally, drinks, It's like Las Vegas.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Now everything costs a fortune to get there. Three thousand
- 6:23Speaker 1: delegates attend Davos every year. Obviously, the higher paying people
- 6:29Speaker 1: for the higher tickets, get more access. If you one
- 6:32Speaker 1: of those million dollar things, you can sit on panels,
- 6:34Speaker 1: you can get invited to closed door roundtables, all sorts
- 6:38Speaker 1: of small access stuff. And you know what's interesting. So Davos,
- 6:42Speaker 1: the President's speech was the high point. Now he got
- 6:45Speaker 1: a standing ovation. These are from the heads of state
- 6:49Speaker 1: all over the world, from the billionaires all over the world,
- 6:51Speaker 1: from all sorts of people standing ovation for President Trump.
- 6:57Speaker 1: Gavin Newsom was at Davos. Nobody knew what the hell
- 7:00Speaker 1: he was doing there. Apparently Alex Soros brought him, but
- 7:06Speaker 1: Newsom looked like a crasher almost He didn't have a
- 7:09Speaker 1: seat during the president speech. He had to stand in
- 7:12Speaker 1: the back of the room. You could see him standing
- 7:14Speaker 1: there look kind of pathetic, and I'll play for you.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Now this was the high point. I think Scott Besant
- 7:21Speaker 1: is speaking the Treasury secretary and he starts to go
- 7:25Speaker 1: after Gavin Newsom, and it was great. Take a listen
- 7:28Speaker 1: to Scott Bessant.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Governor Newsom, who strikes me as Patrick Bateman needs Sparkle
- 7:33Speaker 2: beach Ken maybe the only Californian who knows less about
- 7:37Speaker 2: economics than Kamala Harris. He's here this week with his
- 7:43Speaker 2: billionaire sugar daddy Alex Soros, and the Davos is a
- 7:48Speaker 2: perfect place for a man who when everyone else was
- 7:51Speaker 2: on lockdown, when he was having people arrested for going
- 7:54Speaker 2: to church, he was having thousand dollars a night meals
- 7:58Speaker 2: at the French laundry. I'm sure the California people won't
- 8:01Speaker 2: forget that.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Yeah, now, why would dowse go, Well, he wants to
- 8:05Speaker 1: run in twenty twenty eight. He considers himself the leading
- 8:07Speaker 1: candidate only because he's the most visible and he's doing
- 8:11Speaker 1: stunts and podcasts and all that stuff. And he's a
- 8:14Speaker 1: governor but not known for any foreign policy expertise, so
- 8:18Speaker 1: not that he knows anything about being governor but that's
- 8:20Speaker 1: why he's in Davos to look like he has some
- 8:22Speaker 1: sort of foreign policy gravitas, which he doesn't. But Bessent
- 8:26Speaker 1: was great.
- 8:26Speaker 2: He went on and I was told he was asked
- 8:29Speaker 2: to give a speech on his signature policies. But he's
- 8:33Speaker 2: not speaking because what of his economic policies brought outward
- 8:38Speaker 2: migration from California, a gigantic budget deficit, the largest homeless
- 8:43Speaker 2: population in America, and the poor folks in the Polisades
- 8:48Speaker 2: who had their homes burned down. He is here hobnobbing
- 8:52Speaker 2: with the global elite while his California citizens are still homeless.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Pretty good. So Newsom is claiming that he was supposed
- 9:04Speaker 1: to speak but it was blocked by the Trump administration.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Nobody at Davos believes that there's no way he would
- 9:11Speaker 1: be speaking. He is absolutely no qualifications of any kind
- 9:16Speaker 1: to speak on the economy or economics. He's not a
- 9:19Speaker 1: Davos level kind of speaker. It would never happen. But again,
- 9:24Speaker 1: this is his current campaign for twenty twenty eight. Lots
- 9:27Speaker 1: of stunts, lots of theatrics. Hey, you know who is
- 9:31Speaker 1: at Davos. Al Gore Davos for years was like a
- 9:36Speaker 1: climate change green scheme, you know, woke all this said,
- 9:40Speaker 1: it's no longer the case is still a lot of
- 9:42Speaker 1: it left over. But the guy behind all of that,
- 9:44Speaker 1: the founder of Davos, had to step down last year
- 9:47Speaker 1: in total scandal, and Larry Think of Blackrock, took over
- 9:51Speaker 1: as chairman, and he's gotten rid of all that green stuff,
- 9:54Speaker 1: at least on the surface. It's still there underneath. So
- 9:58Speaker 1: it used to be dominant by John Kerry al Gore
- 10:02Speaker 1: with their climate change, the World's coming to an end,
- 10:04Speaker 1: doom and gloom stuff. But al Gore still showed up.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Everybody was stunned. He came out of the past al
- 10:12Speaker 1: Gore looking old and puffy and gray, but he was
- 10:17Speaker 1: there to do a speech, a round table or whatever
- 10:20Speaker 1: it was. If you want to see it, go look
- 10:21Speaker 1: at my Twitter. The picture is hysterical. It's so pathetic.
- 10:25Speaker 1: They've put him in a tiny room with just a
- 10:27Speaker 1: few chairs, and most of the chairs are empty. He
- 10:30Speaker 1: drew about six people for this speech, and a lot
- 10:32Speaker 1: of people think it's just the six people that came
- 10:35Speaker 1: with him. Quite pathetic for al Gore, absolutely ridiculous. Hey,
- 10:41Speaker 1: today is just finishing up there. Greenland was the big thing.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Everything looks okay now with Greenland, or, as Trump said.
- 10:49Speaker 3: What I'm asking for is a piece of ice, cold
- 10:54Speaker 3: and poorly located that can play a vital role in
- 10:59Speaker 3: world piece and world protection.
- 11:02Speaker 1: Now, first of all, the idea of taking Greenland is
- 11:06Speaker 1: not a Trump policy. People keep attacking it like it's
- 11:08Speaker 1: some sort of Trump thing for US to get Greenland.
- 11:11Speaker 1: It's been US policy for one hundred years, many many
- 11:16Speaker 1: presidents have been trying to get Greenland. In fact, in
- 11:19Speaker 1: the past we've made six very serious offers to buy it.
- 11:23Speaker 1: So it's not a Trump policy. It's an official US
- 11:27Speaker 1: policy for decades and decades and decades. But it looks
- 11:31Speaker 1: like Trump will be the first person to get something done.
- 11:34Speaker 1: It looks like we're not going to get Greenland. He says.
- 11:37Speaker 1: There is an agreement there, framework is there. They just
- 11:40Speaker 1: got to hammer it out. Now it looks like we
- 11:42Speaker 1: will not buy Greenland and own it. We will not
- 11:45Speaker 1: be given Greenland. So far, what it looks like is
- 11:49Speaker 1: it's more like we're going to lease the car rather
- 11:51Speaker 1: than buy it, but a very long term lease, very
- 11:54Speaker 1: very long term. He's claiming, I don't know what that
- 11:56Speaker 1: would what would that mean? One hundred years something like that.
- 11:59Speaker 1: So we'll get what we need in Greenland, will get
- 12:03Speaker 1: access to all the land we need. Now we have
- 12:07Speaker 1: a military base there, we want to put more. We
- 12:09Speaker 1: have very very serious military stuff we need to put
- 12:11Speaker 1: there for strategic reasons. There are other places around the
- 12:15Speaker 1: world where we make a deal, we pay money whatever
- 12:17Speaker 1: we have to do to put a military base there.
- 12:19Speaker 1: But that's a problem because then every few years you
- 12:21Speaker 1: got to renegotiate and they threaten to kick you out.
- 12:24Speaker 1: So we don't want to go through that. Apparently this
- 12:26Speaker 1: agreement solves that we would have total control of what
- 12:31Speaker 1: we need in Greenland for a long period of time.
- 12:35Speaker 1: And what did Trump get after all this, Well, the
- 12:38Speaker 1: concessions were because in the past certain stuff still had
- 12:42Speaker 1: to be approved by the Danish parliament. Apparently that's gone.
- 12:45Speaker 1: We won't need any approval. We'll have total control of
- 12:48Speaker 1: these areas. And the other problem is keeping the Russians
- 12:52Speaker 1: and the Chinese out of there. Apparently that's going to
- 12:54Speaker 1: be part of the agreement. So it looks like they've
- 12:56Speaker 1: got Now they've got to hammer out the details, get
- 12:58Speaker 1: it signed. We'll see what happens. The Clintons are in
- 13:03Speaker 1: contempt of Congress. They right now are at risk of
- 13:07Speaker 1: going to jail. It's very possible, very possible because the
- 13:12Speaker 1: last two people that did this contempt to Congress, refused
- 13:15Speaker 1: to testify, were sent to prison, Steve Bannon, Peter Navarro.
- 13:20Speaker 1: So you can be sent to prison for doing this,
- 13:23Speaker 1: and they're doing it. The Clintons have refused to testify.
- 13:27Speaker 1: Now they had to vote whether to hold them in
- 13:30Speaker 1: contempt and do a criminal referral. The vote was yesterday.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Enough Democrats voted to go after the Clintons, hold them
- 13:39Speaker 1: in contempt. Enough Democrats voted for that for the thing
- 13:42Speaker 1: to pass, so they are now in contempt. Let me
- 13:46Speaker 1: see you forget the vote. Yeah, it was thirty four
- 13:47Speaker 1: to eight. So a lot of Democrats, a lot of Democrats.
- 13:54Speaker 1: This is the committee, it's not all of Congress. A
- 13:56Speaker 1: lot of Democrats voted to go after the Clintons. Now
- 13:59Speaker 1: a lot of people are added Hakim Jeffries, because he
- 14:02Speaker 1: was supposed to prevent that from happening. He was supposed
- 14:04Speaker 1: to keep the Democrats in line so they didn't vote
- 14:07Speaker 1: against the Clintons. And Hakim Jeffries apparently was working the
- 14:11Speaker 1: phones like crazy, trying to do that, but he was unsuccessful.
- 14:16Speaker 1: As Uncle Junior would say, he couldn't sell it. He's
- 14:20Speaker 1: not respected, so it looks bad for Hakim Jeffries. Now,
- 14:24Speaker 1: why would a lot of Democrats vote against the Clintons,
- 14:26Speaker 1: vote to convict them, put them in a legal jeopardy
- 14:30Speaker 1: because a lot of today's Democrats can't stand the Clintons.
- 14:33Speaker 1: The Clintons are old dinosaurs from the past. The modern
- 14:37Speaker 1: Democrats have no respect for them. Not to mention, the
- 14:39Speaker 1: Clintons were quite moderate, they weren't very left wing. Today's
- 14:44Speaker 1: Democrats hate them and want to go after them, so
- 14:47Speaker 1: we'll see what happens. They could. Now a lot of
- 14:49Speaker 1: people think, here's what's going to happen. They are in
- 14:51Speaker 1: legal jeopardy. They can be sent to prison for this,
- 14:56Speaker 1: and a lot of people think what the Clintons will
- 14:58Speaker 1: do is cave in, make some sort of deal to testify.
- 15:02Speaker 1: They'll probably Usually you try to do that on a
- 15:04Speaker 1: Friday night because when the news breaks on a Friday night,
- 15:08Speaker 1: nobody's paying attention. People are out, people aren't watching the
- 15:11Speaker 1: news so much. But we got a big snowstorm coming
- 15:14Speaker 1: Saturday night, so that'll dominate the news coverage. They may
- 15:18Speaker 1: do it Saturday night in the middle of that snowstorm
- 15:20Speaker 1: to get the least amount of attention for it. Anyway,
- 15:23Speaker 1: we had a lot more to talk about, and we'll
- 15:25Speaker 1: get to the Oscars. Marty Supreme did pretty well. The
- 15:29Speaker 1: biggest one was the film Sinners that got so many nominations.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Sinners got sixteen nominations, making it the most nominated movie
- 15:38Speaker 1: in history. Marty Supreme nominated Best Picture, Best Director, Best Screenplay,
- 15:45Speaker 1: Timothy Chalomay for Best Actor, Best Actor, Leonardo DiCaprio, Michael
- 15:52Speaker 1: b Jordan, Ethan Hawke, Wagner Mora, what else. There was
- 15:57Speaker 1: some snubs there. Wicked Avatar seemed to get snubbed away.
- 16:02Speaker 1: We'll get to all of this coming up on seven
- 16:04Speaker 1: to ten WR. We'll take some calls next. Eight hundred
- 16:08Speaker 1: three two one zero seven ten is the number. Eight
- 16:11Speaker 1: hundred three two one zero seven ten. Set up free
- 16:15Speaker 1: said on the iHeartRadio app to WR to hear Mark Live.
- 16:20Speaker 4: Set another for Mark's podcast to hear him anytime.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Now back to Mark Simone on WR, Hey, We'll take
- 16:32Speaker 1: some calls. Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten
- 16:37Speaker 1: is the number. Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten,
- 16:41Speaker 1: let's go to Jim in New Jersey. Jim, how you
- 16:43Speaker 1: doing him?
- 16:44Speaker 5: Mark? Mark? Yesterday you're talking about JD. Advance's wife is
- 16:48Speaker 5: going to have a baby, and Kennedy was going to
- 16:50Speaker 5: have a baby. Uh. The only president born in New Jersey,
- 16:53Speaker 5: his house is still there on Bluefield Avenue in Caldwell,
- 16:57Speaker 5: is Grover Cleveland. And he's the first president to get
- 17:00Speaker 5: get married in the White House. He was forty nine,
- 17:02Speaker 5: his bride was only twenty one. She was the youngest
- 17:06Speaker 5: first lady. And then at the age fifty he proceeded
- 17:09Speaker 5: to have five kids while he was in the White House.
- 17:12Speaker 4: Of course he was like Trump.
- 17:13Speaker 5: He was elected, then he lost and he ran again.
- 17:16Speaker 5: But over those.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Hurried up about this guy. So he's forty nine going
- 17:19Speaker 1: out with a twenty one year old.
- 17:21Speaker 5: He was forty nine when he got married in the
- 17:22Speaker 5: White House and his first lady was twenty one. First
- 17:26Speaker 5: and last thing, Mark, He did have one daughter who
- 17:29Speaker 5: died young. Her name was Ruth, and they named the
- 17:32Speaker 5: baby Ruth Candy bar after her.
- 17:34Speaker 1: Yeah, there you go. It wasn't after a babe Ruth,
- 17:36Speaker 1: a Grover Cleveland's daughter.
- 17:38Speaker 5: What no baby Ruth? This sounds there you go, Mark,
- 17:40Speaker 5: Thanks for listening.
- 17:41Speaker 1: All right, thanks, it sounds really interesting. This Grover Cleveland.
- 17:46Speaker 1: Now he's the only other president. He and Donald Trump
- 17:50Speaker 1: the only two presidents who served a four year term,
- 17:53Speaker 1: did not get reelected and then ran four years later
- 17:56Speaker 1: and got back in. Now. One reason this Trump turned
- 18:00Speaker 1: is moving so fast and a lot of people are
- 18:03Speaker 1: very impressed with this cabinet is because Trump had four
- 18:06Speaker 1: years on the sidelines to plan. You know, if you're
- 18:10Speaker 1: president for four years to get re elected, you go
- 18:14Speaker 1: right into your second term, and usually most of the
- 18:16Speaker 1: cabinet leaves after the first term, and the second term
- 18:20Speaker 1: team isn't as strong, and it's just a continuation. But
- 18:24Speaker 1: when you take you know, it's like in a football game.
- 18:26Speaker 1: The reason you call a time out, it gives you
- 18:28Speaker 1: a minute to go regroup, look at what you're doing,
- 18:31Speaker 1: think about it, plan a whole minute. Can imagine he
- 18:35Speaker 1: had four years to do this. So that's why Trump
- 18:38Speaker 1: thought of everything he wanted to get done. He had
- 18:41Speaker 1: four years to look around for the best cabinet people.
- 18:44Speaker 1: And that's why there's so many things happening in the
- 18:47Speaker 1: first year. This is four years of stuff that he's
- 18:49Speaker 1: had in his head being unleashed all in one year,
- 18:51Speaker 1: even the little things like you know, you realize the
- 18:56Speaker 1: White House needed a real ballroom. It was ridiculous to
- 18:59Speaker 1: have a events in the backyard in a tent. All
- 19:02Speaker 1: this stuff, rebuilding the upstairs, rebuilding the lobby, all that
- 19:06Speaker 1: kind of stuff. Let's go to Jay in New Jersey. Jay,
- 19:09Speaker 1: how you doing?
- 19:12Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 19:12Speaker 6: Hey, Mark? Yeah, I'm not sure if you saw clip
- 19:14Speaker 6: the you know Fredo Cuomo. We got mad that Scott
- 19:17Speaker 6: Jennings for calling ulegal aliens legal aliens. Yea, and yeah,
- 19:21Speaker 6: I actually called Chris Cuomo's serious XM show this morning
- 19:25Speaker 6: that nobody.
- 19:26Speaker 1: Knows about it. Right, Listen to me seriously, if you're
- 19:29Speaker 1: getting up early to listen to Chris Cuomo, I'm serious,
- 19:32Speaker 1: and you're calling in, you need to rethink your life.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Something is wrong here. If you've got the time to
- 19:36Speaker 1: do that, if you're not at all.
- 19:40Speaker 6: I didn't even know he had the show, Mark. I
- 19:42Speaker 6: saw it on Twitter when he posted it, and I said,
- 19:45Speaker 6: I'll just hop in to ask him about it, because
- 19:48Speaker 6: you know, I was up early and I wanted to
- 19:49Speaker 6: know what I wanted to know it.
- 19:51Speaker 1: But if you're early, up early, you got Larry Minty,
- 19:54Speaker 1: you got a million great morning shows, you got good
- 19:56Speaker 1: day in New York. If you're actually up early and
- 19:58Speaker 1: you're listening to Chris Quon, I'm serious, something is wrong.
- 20:02Speaker 1: You need to rethink all of this.
- 20:06Speaker 6: Yeah, well I was calling I wasn't. I wasn't calling
- 20:09Speaker 6: him for pleasure.
- 20:10Speaker 5: No, I understand.
- 20:11Speaker 1: But it's like if we came over a year, you're
- 20:14Speaker 1: just looking at porn all day. This is not the
- 20:15Speaker 1: way to spend your time. And it's the same thing
- 20:18Speaker 1: listen to Chris cualmoll. I'm serious, this is not the
- 20:20Speaker 1: way to spend your time.
- 20:23Speaker 6: Agreed, Agreed, it was, it was. It was not that enjoyable,
- 20:26Speaker 6: you know, listening to Fredo, you know, moan and groan
- 20:29Speaker 6: about about you know about about Trump and Ice and
- 20:32Speaker 6: ice agents.
- 20:33Speaker 1: But no, you're right, and he's got this thing. Now.
- 20:36Speaker 1: There was a big kerfuffle on the CNN yesterday. Who's
- 20:40Speaker 1: the guy? Everybody like Scott Jennings was talking about the
- 20:43Speaker 1: illegal aliens and there's little dweeb sitting next to him,
- 20:46Speaker 1: This little nerdy, little dweeb says, you can't use it.
- 20:48Speaker 1: You're not allowed to say illegals. You can't say illegals anymore.
- 20:51Speaker 1: And Scott Jennings was great and he said, I didn't
- 20:54Speaker 1: even know you. Who are you to tell me what
- 20:56Speaker 1: I can say what I can't say? And then he
- 20:58Speaker 1: said it's in the law. The law actually stayed illegal aliens.
- 21:01Speaker 1: So then this guy keeps yelling, you can't say illegals,
- 21:03Speaker 1: and Jennings kept saying, could you tell me exactly? I'm
- 21:06Speaker 1: just curious, how are you going to enforce this edict
- 21:08Speaker 1: you've slapped on me. But and by the way, this
- 21:11Speaker 1: little duib also said on CNN he went after Trump
- 21:15Speaker 1: saying Donald Trump was involved in a pedophile ring. I
- 21:19Speaker 1: guess he's talking about Epstein was involved in running and
- 21:22Speaker 1: protecting a pedophile ring. He said it a couple of times. Well,
- 21:25Speaker 1: apparently the lawyers talked to him and he went into
- 21:28Speaker 1: hyper panic because this little dweb Later on Twitter kept
- 21:32Speaker 1: tweeting out, I fully apologized. I didn't mean to say that.
- 21:35Speaker 1: It was an accident. I don't mean it. I know
- 21:38Speaker 1: he's not involved in a pedophile ring. I truly fully apologize.
- 21:42Speaker 1: So because that was a hell of a lawsuit that
- 21:45Speaker 1: was coming, remind me to get back to the idea
- 21:47Speaker 1: of a cuomo on the radio, it's always disaster. Anytime
- 21:51Speaker 1: Andrew Cuomo tries it, it's disaster. His father, who was
- 21:54Speaker 1: great a couple of times tried a radio show disaster.
- 21:58Speaker 1: The Cuomo oratory can be not bad on stage, but
- 22:04Speaker 1: on the radio it doesn't work anyway. Well, oh, coming
- 22:07Speaker 1: up next, we hope to have Steve Moore with us.
- 22:10Speaker 1: Let's see, although he's been very good the last he's
- 22:13Speaker 1: shown up every time the last few times. The brilliant economist,
- 22:16Speaker 1: one of our favorite guests, Steve Moore next on seven
- 22:19Speaker 1: to ten. Woor, He's got the whole city in your radio.
- 22:23Speaker 1: Marximo on seven ten woo. Well, the best economist around
- 22:30Speaker 1: Steve Moore, who, of course you see him all over
- 22:33Speaker 1: television and you read his columns. But Steve Moore runs
- 22:36Speaker 1: the Committee to Unleashed Prosperity. They put out the best
- 22:39Speaker 1: daily briefing, news analysis. It's free. It'll come write to
- 22:43Speaker 1: your email. Just go sign up for it. Go to
- 22:45Speaker 1: Unleash Prosperity dot com. Unleash Prosperity dot com. Steve Moore,
- 22:50Speaker 1: how you doing Mark?
- 22:52Speaker 4: I'm doing well. I thought the Trump was a superstar
- 22:56Speaker 4: yesterday and Boss really gave a lecture Pens about how
- 23:00Speaker 4: to get their economy going, and you know, he basically said,
- 23:04Speaker 4: do what you're doing, because we you know, the latest
- 23:06Speaker 4: just came out today that the latest fourth words for
- 23:10Speaker 4: almost five and a half percent growth for the fourth
- 23:12Speaker 4: quarter in which ended. You know first, that's a blockbuster number.
- 23:17Speaker 4: It's the highest rid growth rate we've had one adjacent memory,
- 23:21Speaker 4: and so whatever Trump is doing, it is certainly working.
- 23:25Speaker 4: I mean, reading run, rising incomes, we're seeing record high
- 23:29Speaker 4: stock market, we're seeing was a big you know, I
- 23:32Speaker 4: paid two seventy nine gallon for gas. Yes, this time
- 23:36Speaker 4: last year I was paying three seventy nine a gallon.
- 23:38Speaker 4: So I could go.
- 23:39Speaker 5: On and on.
- 23:40Speaker 4: But today it is a rocket ship economy right now,
- 23:44Speaker 4: and the Europeans just a lead. That's what Trump said.
- 23:47Speaker 1: Yeah, no, I don't know. I watched CNN. Apparently it's
- 23:50Speaker 1: a disaster. Nobody can afford anything. We're all going on.
- 23:53Speaker 4: Well, look, I mean I know people you know that
- 23:56Speaker 4: economy's believing. Oh well, what about housing prices? What about
- 23:58Speaker 4: healthcare prices? What about prices? Yeah, I look, and I said,
- 24:01Speaker 4: some have gone up. And as I spent many times
- 24:03Speaker 4: in your show, you should be angry about pricings. Ay,
- 24:06Speaker 4: seven percent of those cost increases what happened under Biden.
- 24:11Speaker 4: That's eight month And so the good news is inflation
- 24:14Speaker 4: is coming down and we all got trust the inflation,
- 24:18Speaker 4: uh you know, back to the very near the two
- 24:21Speaker 4: percent want to target, which is huge. I mean, look,
- 24:23Speaker 4: the average inflation rate was five and a half percent
- 24:26Speaker 4: that Biden per year, and now we're at you know,
- 24:29Speaker 4: two point six percent, So that's an under improvement.
- 24:32Speaker 1: Yeah, you mentioned we're going to hit five percent growth.
- 24:35Speaker 1: This is a huge number. It's getting no coverage. When
- 24:38Speaker 1: was the last time we did five percent growth?
- 24:42Speaker 4: You know, I'd have to check. I know, we we
- 24:45Speaker 4: might watch it. One one Clinton maybe, and you know,
- 24:49Speaker 4: a couple of years under Reagan. And by the way,
- 24:52Speaker 4: you're on two reminds me. I mean, you and I
- 24:54Speaker 4: are old enough to I may be a little older
- 24:55Speaker 4: than you, but we we but bically remember the Reagan
- 24:58Speaker 4: boom in the mid eighties, when you know, we came
- 25:00Speaker 4: out of the disaster of Jimmy Cook cover and we
- 25:03Speaker 4: had one eighteen month period where the Economy group you know,
- 25:07Speaker 4: by a voter like thirteen percent over that period.
- 25:10Speaker 6: So we can do it.
- 25:12Speaker 4: It is it's something. Well, they're not limits to growth.
- 25:14Speaker 4: You just get rid of regulation. By the way, how
- 25:16Speaker 4: about this one one hundred devil regulations for every new regulation.
- 25:19Speaker 4: Remember I said he was going to he was going
- 25:21Speaker 4: to eliminate three you want, No, he's eliminated one hundred
- 25:24Speaker 4: for everyone.
- 25:25Speaker 1: Wow. Hey, I'm watching all these new leaders, the Mondani
- 25:30Speaker 1: in New York, the new New Jersey governor Mikey Cheryl,
- 25:32Speaker 1: and they keep talking about putting more taxes on business.
- 25:35Speaker 1: We're going to increase corporate text, we're increasing business. Isn't
- 25:37Speaker 1: this exactly the same thing as a tariff? I thought
- 25:40Speaker 1: they hate tariffs.
- 25:42Speaker 4: Good point. You know you mentioned New York and New Jersey.
- 25:46Speaker 4: As you know, I live in Washington area in Virginia,
- 25:50Speaker 4: and you know the new the span Burger, who's the
- 25:53Speaker 4: new yearly elected governor of Virginia's chief took over for
- 25:57Speaker 4: Glenn Youngkin, who was a great governor. He cut back
- 26:00Speaker 4: as well. Stamberg, there has only been an office for
- 26:01Speaker 4: about seventy two hours, and all of a sudd oh, we're
- 26:04Speaker 4: gonna raise this tax. That that's a sales tax, the
- 26:06Speaker 4: income taxes, well taxes, the tax, the tax, the tax
- 26:10Speaker 4: on using Uber and you know all of the uh
- 26:14Speaker 4: you know, the internet stuff that she use. You know,
- 26:17Speaker 4: if you do what what do you call it?
- 26:19Speaker 1: Uber?
- 26:19Speaker 4: And all this stuff, they're going to tax you on
- 26:21Speaker 4: this and that and the other thing. And like she
- 26:22Speaker 4: didn't she run as a moderate breeds and all of
- 26:25Speaker 4: a sudden, out of the gate, every tax you can
- 26:28Speaker 4: imagine is going up and down up again.
- 26:30Speaker 1: Yeah. You know, the new mayor here in New York
- 26:32Speaker 1: says is going after hotels because they put all these
- 26:35Speaker 1: fees on There's a fee for this, a fee for that,
- 26:37Speaker 1: and drives up to the face they do. Isn't that
- 26:39Speaker 1: what government? And that's what they do to gasoline. It's
- 26:42Speaker 1: all fees and taxes on gasoline. Why don't they get
- 26:45Speaker 1: rid of those?
- 26:47Speaker 4: Yeah? Exactly, Look when you pay all these fees at
- 26:49Speaker 4: the you know, you know, as you know, I go
- 26:51Speaker 4: up to New York every week or two and oftentimes
- 26:54Speaker 4: they stay over night, and I have two nights and
- 26:55Speaker 4: I can't believe, you know, it'll say two forty nine
- 26:59Speaker 4: and then you get the bill fight one fifty nine.
- 27:01Speaker 5: Because all these taxes that.
- 27:03Speaker 4: They imposed on and I'm like, wait them in a
- 27:05Speaker 4: three dollars in taxes and fees. Almost all of those
- 27:09Speaker 4: are imposed by the city, hundred state, and gosh, I'm
- 27:12Speaker 4: gonna and the next time I'm gonna have to sleep
- 27:14Speaker 4: in a hear list or something like that because it's
- 27:17Speaker 4: so expensive. But the point is this is government. This
- 27:20Speaker 4: is the the hotels change that are doing this. It's
- 27:23Speaker 4: it's the government fees that that are making it so expensive.
- 27:28Speaker 4: And you know, you look at the four or five
- 27:30Speaker 4: state at mark that have the highest cost of living,
- 27:34Speaker 4: and you know what they are. They're in New York, Jersey, California, Illinois,
- 27:38Speaker 4: and Massachusetts. Gosh, what the oh yeah, they're the Democratic states.
- 27:42Speaker 4: And then you know what, We're gonna lect more Democrats
- 27:45Speaker 4: to make America more efregerent. Well, that doesn't make so
- 27:48Speaker 4: much sense.
- 27:49Speaker 1: Hey, I saw al Gore was at the Davos. So
- 27:52Speaker 1: if you go back and watch the Al Gore movie
- 27:53Speaker 1: An Inconvenient Truth twenty five years ago, now one thing
- 27:57Speaker 1: came true that he predicted, in fact, most cases the
- 27:59Speaker 1: opposite had shouldn't he apologized? Everybody?
- 28:03Speaker 5: You know he should?
- 28:04Speaker 4: I mean, what the whole climate, by the way, climate
- 28:06Speaker 4: change is yesterday. I mean, I'm not I've been to Doublas.
- 28:09Speaker 4: I didn't go this year, but I've been borders over
- 28:12Speaker 4: there who have been talked to, and they said, the
- 28:14Speaker 4: one remarkable thing is nobody's talking about climate change. And
- 28:18Speaker 4: you say, it's yesterday's story. It was all a bunch
- 28:21Speaker 4: of scarce tactics by the left. We have something in
- 28:24Speaker 4: our hotline this morning. You haven't probably read it yet
- 28:26Speaker 4: because we just sent it out. Remember this idea, all
- 28:28Speaker 4: all these Pacific islands, we're going to be underwater, and
- 28:32Speaker 4: you know, and they just guess what, you know, they
- 28:35Speaker 4: there's no rise in the in the sea levels in
- 28:40Speaker 4: the specific islands. But but everything that the climate change
- 28:46Speaker 4: uh you know, almost apocalyptics predicted, has not come true.
- 28:51Speaker 4: And so by the way to get I'm in Washington,
- 28:54Speaker 4: d C. You know, which is a southern city. As
- 28:56Speaker 4: you know, Mark Bergan. We are going to have temperatures
- 28:59Speaker 4: in the teens and we're going to get fourteen inches
- 29:01Speaker 4: of stuff.
- 29:02Speaker 1: Guess they're going to well you people deserve it. Yeah, well,
