🚨 Robert Kiyosaki and SILVER ALERT! 🚨 -- You Best HEAR This -- (Gold NEWS Update) · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

0:00
Two big reasons why $78 silver is a huge, huge deal.
0:06
We're going to get into that. Also, Robert Kiyosaki issues
0:10
another big warning. And right, the silver
0:13
billionaire separate from Robert Kiyosaki.
0:16
We're talking about somebody else.
0:17
Yeah, that billionaire, the new Hunt brothers.
0:20
He issues a major warning that we want to pay attention to and
0:26
silver overtakes Apple. Yes, that apple.
0:29
Wow. We've got big things to talk
0:31
about. The biggest one is, hey, Merry
0:33
Christmas, happy holidays. Let's talk about you for a
0:37
second. It's been great having you with
0:39
me here in the basement Over the past year, over the number of
0:42
years, we've grown this channel together to like 67,000
0:46
followers. I pride myself on connecting
0:49
with my audience. That's you.
0:51
You're a big deal. I'm not here without you.
0:54
It's just a cold, dark, dank basement, but we bring it to
0:58
life together. So thank you very much on behalf
1:01
of myself and the one and only upstairs, Susie, who's running
1:04
around like crazy getting ready for Christmas.
1:07
So she won't be joining us today, but we appreciate you.
1:09
Please subscribe to the channel that's free, leave a comment,
1:13
give us a thumbs up, all that great stuff.
1:15
Let's talk about some interesting developments in the
1:18
world of silver and we'll cover gold $78 silver.
1:23
Can you believe this? Yes, it's real.
1:25
In the Chinese spot market, we get this guys.
1:30
This was shared by Justario and there's two big reasons why this
1:33
critical, exciting reasons why this is unbelievable, $78,
1:38
Silvery said. Not only spot silver traded in
1:41
Shanghai closed it not just $78 but $78.49 already today, but
1:49
silver is now trading in backwardation in China,
1:54
signaling even there the demand supply imbalance of physical
1:58
silver is becoming acute. So two big reasons why we're
2:02
going to pay attention to this. Let me get the crayons out for
2:05
those of you who are new, this is the SGE, the Shanghai Gold
2:09
Exchange. It's their physical basically
2:11
spot market. Here's AG, which is silver.
2:15
Can you believe this? 78 dollars and $0.49.
2:19
Now when we go to the Shanghai Futures Exchange and look at
2:24
silver, they listed as silver. They're not AG, but nonetheless,
2:29
the futures price is now lower at $78.02 than the spot price.
2:36
That is backwardation. That is a big deal, OK?
2:39
That means that even in China, maybe there's a little concern
2:43
about the futures being able to deliver on the silver.
2:49
Because remember this right here, this is the key.
2:52
The Shanghai Gold Exchange is a physical market where, as I
2:56
understand it, 99% of any silver traded there is on a spot basis.
3:01
But there's even a bigger reason why.
3:04
I'll circle it one more more time.
3:05
I can't believe. Imagine a year ago, guys, if we
3:08
pulled this chart up and I'd said don't worry, on Christmas
3:11
Eve 2025, we'll have a special surprise $78 silver.
3:16
Most of us would not have ruled that out of the realm of
3:19
possibilities. It feels like what we've talked
3:22
about for years is coming true. I digress.
3:25
The other reason why we're going to care about $78 silver, Let me
3:30
look you in the eye. Not only is the Chinese market
3:33
also in a state of backwardation, but on top of
3:36
that, OK, we talked about this yesterday.
3:39
The Comex and the LBMA prices now are following what goes on
3:44
in China. Everybody knows it, China,
3:47
India, Russia, all of Asia, they are taking over the, the pricing
3:51
mechanism for the metals physical is taking over.
3:55
And we talked about how that spread between the COMEX in the
3:59
LBMA in the Shanghai Gold Exchange had been compressing.
4:03
We just talked about this yesterday.
4:05
So what the reason why we're so excited about this is if that
4:09
trend continues, what we should see is the COMEX in the LBMA
4:15
adjusting their prices a little bit higher to let's say get
4:18
closer to what we have on the Shanghai Gold Exchange.
4:22
That's what I think. That's what I'm super excited
4:24
about and we know what's happening all around us out
4:27
there right now in the world of gold and silver.
4:31
Thank you to 1st Mint for sponsoring Ron's basement.
4:34
Yes, first Mint me bring you out to their website.
4:37
They are a silver mint located in Las Vegas, NV.
4:41
Coincidentally, there is their Las Vegas round, their Year of
4:46
the Snake Round, and their Year of the Dragon Round and their
4:50
Buffalo Round. But they also, if you go here to
4:53
store at bars, other accessories and they're awesome.
4:58
Folds of Honor product line. There's three products in the
5:02
Folds of Honor line. It's really cool.
5:04
It helps support the Folds of Honor Foundation, which provides
5:08
academic scholarships to children and spouses of fallen
5:12
and disabled members of the first responder and military
5:16
communities. First Mint is owned by First
5:19
Majestic Silver so when you buy silver from First Mint it's
5:23
coming from right out of the ground from First Majestic mines
5:27
in Mexico from the mine to the mint you there's a discount code
5:31
VIPRB you can use that and everybody the best part about
5:36
first meant for me as I feel good about having them right.
5:39
They help make this possible. But what I feel even better
5:42
about is the fact that the feedback you guys are giving me
5:46
is I've had no negative feedback period and a lot of awesome
5:52
positive feedback. So thank you first men for
5:55
sponsoring Ron Spaceman. What did?
5:56
Robert Kiyosaki? Yes, Robert Kiyosaki, Right.
6:00
Like best selling financial author, he has something very
6:03
interesting to bring up about what is happening.
6:06
Hold on here. You don't want to look at me.
6:09
Well, maybe you do. Hey, there I am.
6:11
Hi, guys. All right, look over here.
6:15
Let's bring up Robert Kiyosaki. I'll keep myself on the screen.
6:18
You can watch me struggle here. And there we go.
6:21
Now I have the right screen up. Robert Kiyosaki says silver over
6:25
$70. Here's a big warning here.
6:27
OK, great news for gold and silver stackers, bad news for
6:32
fake money savers. What he's referring to, there
6:35
are people who have their money and bank accounts and Fiat paper
6:39
money. OK, he says.
6:41
I'm concerned. This is the warning, $70 silver
6:45
may signal hyperinflation in five years as the fake dollar
6:51
keeps losing value. And that's the scary part, guys.
6:55
Look, I love my country. I love the United States.
6:58
I don't agree with 1971 President Richard Nixon taking
7:01
us off the gold standard. I don't agree with taking silver
7:04
out of our coinage. But it happened and
7:07
unfortunately, I don't. You don't agree with it.
7:09
We don't agree with it. But the situation with the US
7:12
dollar, if you can, if you can, and I know you can operate a
7:16
standard calculator, you don't have to be Albert Eisenhower to
7:20
see that the dollars, I mean, lost, what, 99% of its value
7:24
against gold since 1971, continues to lose value.
7:28
And the scary part is the spiral proposition, the debt spiral
7:33
proposition that we may be facing, that means this could
7:36
accelerate, right? Andy Scheckman, I've heard him
7:39
say it all the time. Like, sometimes these things
7:41
happen slowly, slowly, slowly, and then suddenly.
7:47
OK, so anyway, says don't be a loser, fake money.
7:51
And he doesn't mean that in a bad way, but, you know, he
7:53
trying to help people. Fake money will continue to lose
7:56
purchasing power as silver goes to $200 in 2026.
8:02
Now, you know, I've been following.
8:04
We've been following David Bateman.
8:06
I forgot you can see me on the screen while I had that up.
8:09
Hopefully you could see it. Anyhow, David Bateman, the new
8:13
Hunt Brothers, this guy has over 13 million ounces of silver.
8:16
I don't know how much gold he has, but he puts out another big
8:20
scary warning. This is hot off the presses.
8:23
Let's go see what this guy is telling us because he's in our
8:27
camp. He says this.
8:29
OK, the masses. OK, the masses.
8:32
Don't we have a word? We like to refer to the masses
8:35
like the other 9796% of people out there who don't own gold and
8:41
silver. They're part of a herd.
8:42
Oh, yeah, they're part of. They're part of a herd of sheep.
8:46
So we affectionately like to refer to them as sheep warning,
8:50
sheep warning the sheep. All.
8:54
OK, the masses, both rich and poor, won't learn what physical
8:58
gold and silver is. What?
9:00
What gold and silver is for until hyperinflation sets in.
9:06
Wow, 2 hyperinflation post in one day, then they will never
9:11
unlearn it. And I'm going to explain to you
9:13
the critical, critical point about what he's saying right
9:17
here. Your broker has been trained not
9:19
to see it. So you'll get no warning.
9:22
What we are seeing now is is the awake front running what is
9:26
about to happen. All right, the what's happening
9:30
here, right? So we got Robert Kia Kiyosaki,
9:33
we got David Bateman talking about hyperinflation, right?
9:37
I don't know. I'm not one of those complete
9:39
doom and gloom and says, Oh my God, you're going to wake up
9:41
tomorrow and the dollar is going to be worthless, right?
9:44
I mean, it could happen. But what they're talking about,
9:47
what Bateman is talking about is a very critical point that when
9:51
we look at what what other people are doing, they are
9:54
suffering from something called recency bias, meaning that,
9:59
well, if it didn't happen for the last year or five years or
10:02
10 years, right? It's been like they've been like
10:05
the dollar losing value little by little by little and now
10:09
accelerating. It's like that old, I hate the
10:11
analogy, but I'll use it. It's like boiling a frog.
10:14
I know that visual just doesn't work with me, right?
10:17
It's recency bias just because, right?
10:20
The money in the bank, it didn't go go worthless overnight.
10:24
It's like they did it over time and since everything's been OK
10:28
up to now, but we are smart enough to broaden our lens,
10:32
right? That's what happens down here in
10:34
the basement when we get together and it's a big deal.
10:37
You're here. Thank you again, right?
10:38
We broaden our lens and we can look back and we know that
10:42
throughout history, right, anytime.
10:45
And it's happened hundreds of times, if not thousands, that a
10:48
country went off a gold standard or a silver standard and started
10:52
printing Fiat money. It has always ended in disaster.
10:57
OK, period. Paper money, toilet paper,
11:00
however you want to say it, that's the fact.
11:03
Let's look at some funnies. Want to have some fun for those
11:06
of you, for those of you who are nude silver welcome, right?
11:10
We've got hundreds. We got 700 people on this live
11:12
stream snap live stream on a on a Christmas Eve.
11:15
The number of people are growing and growing, but I want to to
11:18
watch something fun with you for just a few seconds.
11:21
Those of you who may have bought your silver when it was under
11:23
$25, OK. And if you bought it at 50, if
11:27
you're buying it now, hey, look, I'm not a financial advisor.
11:30
Don't make any financial decisions based on me.
11:32
But if you bought it recently, look at who knows, it could be
11:36
sooner as opposed to later. You're going to be looking back
11:39
and celebrating like this guy as well.
11:42
I thought this was great. Came from our friend, OK, the
11:48
dude who's always giving us the paper silver stuff, but he put
11:52
this out yesterday. He says when you bought silver
11:55
at $25, I'm going to play this for you.
11:58
It's short, but it's great. This is what it feels like if
12:01
you bought silver at $25. Yes, yes, it worked.
12:09
It worked OK. The market cap of silver is
12:16
going through the roof. We know and we believe it has a
12:20
lot further to run, but it's it's making big waves.
12:23
And I'm going to show you a piece of data right now.
12:26
They can put a big smile on the face of every silver stacker out
12:29
there. But I'm going to give you the
12:32
reason why I think that it could really is this continues to
12:36
occur, could really be a massive tailwind for silver, which let's
12:42
face it, right? Silver's been respected for
12:45
years. I remember.
12:49
And then we'll go to this data. I remember we have a
12:52
neighborhood swimming pool where I live.
12:54
I love it. It's a great place.
12:55
And I remember being in the swimming pool two years ago
12:58
swimming around, right? You can visualize that.
13:01
And if a certain neighbor came up to me who I didn't really
13:04
want to talk to, all I had to do was start talking about silver
13:08
and they would swim away, you know, like a little scared fish
13:11
from a shark. It was like, you know, the score
13:14
of the neighborhood. Well, that's about to change and
13:16
that is changing right now. And what I want to show you here
13:19
next, I think will be a part of that change.
13:22
And what we're talking about is mainstream media picking up on
13:27
what is happening. And here's the big news.
13:29
Hold on, I got to give credit here.
13:31
Silver trade breaking silver. Silver soars past Apple.
13:36
Now I know the market's been down, we'll go out and take a
13:38
look at the silver price. Do a backwardation check here in
13:41
a second. But silver, at least at the time
13:43
of this post, had soared past Apple Computer to become now the
13:48
third largest market cap in the world #3 who's above us?
13:55
NVIDIA, who only has like a price to earnings ratio of like
13:59
what 6000 and gold. OK guys, silver is getting
14:04
attention. The reason why this is important
14:07
is because when more and more people start to realize that
14:11
silver is now becoming one of the most valuable assets in the
14:15
world from a market cap perspective, OK, it is going to
14:20
draw more and more attention to the silver sector, right?
14:23
From from from general investors, from institutional
14:27
investors, and even from the retail investment side, right?
14:30
And NVIDIA is not that far ahead of us right now.
14:35
So we will be keeping a very, very close eye on that.
14:38
Next, I want to talk about all this crazy and it is truly crazy
14:42
stuff going on, these dislocations between the
14:45
physical and the paper market. Before I do that, let's say
14:49
thank you to channel sponsor first Mining Gold.
14:52
Hey, I've known the CEO of that company because I own the stock
14:57
for years and years before they sponsored my channel.
15:01
I made videos about the company before they sponsored the
15:03
channel and and loved First Mining Gold.
15:07
I'm not a financial advisor, do your own research, but they now
15:10
sponsor Ron's Basement, which is a big honor and it is a stock
15:14
that I hold. OK, again, do your own research,
15:17
all that great stuff. But what I love about First
15:20
Mining is they have two of the largest development stage gold
15:24
projects in Canada, talking about millions of Oz of gold in
15:28
the ground. You can check them out here,
15:30
firstmininggold.com. They have the Spring Pole
15:33
project and they have the Du Parquet project, both in Canada.
15:38
Great company again, firstmininggold.com.
15:42
All right, let's talk about it's screwed up.
15:46
That's the only way we can say it.
15:48
What's going on in a good way. Hey, let's let's do some show
15:53
and tell. I'm going to get a new piece out
15:55
soon. That's the silver dragon.
15:57
For those of us that love silver.
16:00
Isn't that beautiful? OK, I love silver, right?
16:04
But the markets are screwed up between the paper market, the
16:07
electronic market, what we like to call fantasy island silver,
16:13
right? We joked around the other day,
16:15
what is it Now there's there's 357 paper make believe ounces of
16:20
silver that are traded for each one ounce of real silver.
16:25
And what backs up that 357 oz will be joked around and said
16:29
all that silver that's miles underground that's yet to be
16:32
mined. None the less, there's a lot
16:37
going on right now with silver lease rates and then also the
16:40
swap silver lease swap rates. A lot of attention is being
16:45
drawn to that. I dug into it.
16:47
We could talk about this for hours.
16:49
It's very technical. But basically what it's showing
16:52
is that for the future, it, it goes back to backwardation again
16:56
for the future to, to get silver in the future, that should cost
17:01
you more. And the fact that these rates
17:03
here, I'll read it to you, the, the silver swap lease rates are
17:08
off. That's all I can say.
17:10
That's basically it. And what it's indicating is that
17:13
people want silver now. They want, they're paying a
17:17
premium to get it now as opposed to waiting hopefully to get it
17:21
at some point in the future. So the only thing and the only
17:25
thing that's going to fix this dislocation between these silver
17:29
swap lease rates is a much, much higher price.
17:32
That's the that's the theory that makes sense when you dig
17:36
into it is a much higher price than silver.
17:38
Again, I don't have a crystal ball, OK.
17:41
I do have a bear right there, a silver bear with an $85.
17:46
I can't believe we're getting that close.
17:48
We are in China. We may be taking it off
17:50
tomorrow, but he's got an $85 blindfold.
17:54
You can see him right there. That blindfold comes off when we
17:57
get $85 silver. Don't forget that Big Bear right
18:00
there. Those of you who've been around
18:02
for years, that bear right there, that giant teddy bear had
18:06
a blindfold on that said $2500 gold.
18:10
OK, that I said I would take off when gold hit $2500.
18:14
I think that was what, a year ago?
18:15
I can't even remember now. I'm getting older.
18:16
You may relate to that, but nonetheless, we took that
18:19
blindfold off. The important thing to remember,
18:23
I have files of emails, almost hate mail that I get from people
18:27
when that when that bear was there with 2500 blindfold saying
18:32
you're you're you're misleading people, gold will never get to
18:35
2500 dollars again, blah, blah, blah.
18:37
You know, so just just we'll see.
18:41
OK, we'll we'll see. What did I want to show you?
18:44
There's something I got some another funny.
18:46
Oh, let's go check. I know what you want to do.
18:49
You want to go check on the gold and silver today's, but there's
18:51
been some volatility, so we don't know what we're going to
18:54
get when we go out to check the gold and silver price.
18:58
First, we will go to the spot price here.
19:02
Oh my gosh, is that accurate? Silver was down.
19:06
Oh, hold on here, let's refresh this.
19:11
Wow, Silver's back up again, $71.85 again in the black bar in
19:16
the middle where you can see my cursor.
19:19
That is the world spot price, so that should be from the LBMA.
19:23
Now give me a second. Sorry, hold on, give me one
19:27
second. I'll be right back with you.
19:30
We are going to go out to CNBC and we are going to check on the
19:37
futures price of silver. We need to do a backwardation
19:41
check. So the OK, so we are not in
19:44
backwardation because the futures price right now for the
19:48
March silver contract is $72. We're going to bookmark that for
19:53
fun. We're also going to go back in a
19:55
time machine real quickly and see one year ago on Christmas
20:00
Eve when we were talking about silver, what the price was.
20:04
Hold on, is that it? Well, that was Christmas Day,
20:07
$30. I told you last year on
20:12
Christmas Day, don't worry, next year we're going to have 60-70
20:16
dollars silver, now $72 silver on Christmas.
20:19
I mean, unbelievable. OK.
20:21
So we're at $72 in the futures market, which is right, We're
20:27
not really, but basically the same between the futures price
20:31
and the spot price. So when the spot price is higher
20:35
than the futures price, that's unusual, that's called
20:38
backwardation. That means people are nervous
20:40
when the normal state of any market like a silver and gold
20:44
commodities, anything where the spot price is lower than the
20:48
futures price, that's normal. That's called contango.
20:52
So we are precariously balancing between backwardation and
20:56
contango. What are we going to call that
20:58
backward tango? Semi backwardation, semi
21:03
contango? I think.
21:04
I think we'll call it backward tango.
21:06
All right, here's another funny, then it's Lancy.
21:10
I had to share this one with you.
21:12
You know, the world is going crazy for silver and gold.
21:17
He put out this very, very telling post yesterday or this
21:22
morning. He's providing us with an
21:24
exhaustive list of nations that are not buying gold or silver.
21:29
So these these, these are the nations that are not buying gold
21:33
and silver to strengthen their balance sheet.
21:35
Let's pull this up. Oh, there's nothing on the
21:38
sheet. All right, all right guys.
21:43
Hey, don't forget check out Dirty Man Safe.
21:45
I got 1 hanging right there and I think you can see it.
21:49
Ron 10, Ron 10. Like Ron's basement, but Ron 10
21:52
you get a 10% discount and a couple other neat little add-ons
21:56
thrown in there as well. Please, if you want to do
21:59
something nice this holiday season, check out this charity.
22:04
I'm not paid or affiliated or anything by this.
22:07
I just really believe in what they're doing.
22:09
They're treating children all around the world who are born
22:13
with the birth defect of clubfoot and they're doing it on
22:16
a massive scale. Think they've treated 20,000
22:19
people, kids mostly in third world developing countries.
22:23
And if these kids don't get treatment, it has a major
22:26
negative impact on their life. It only cost about $500 to do a
22:30
complete treatment. I think it takes like five
22:32
years. So they're training physicians,
22:35
they're providing the medical apparatus needed to help to help
22:39
fix this all around the world. And who doesn't like to do
22:42
something nice? All right, guys, thanks again
22:44
for being here. Don't forget, please subscribe
22:46
#1 right? You are important.
22:49
It's a big deal when you come here.
22:50
We appreciate you. On behalf of Upstairs, Susie and
22:54
myself, we'd like to wish you happy holidays, Merry Christmas,
22:58
and I will see you in a few days.
23:01
Take care, I'll see you soon.
