- 0:00SPEAKER_02: Well, the saga continues with my mouth.
- 0:02SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah?
- 0:04SPEAKER_01: What hap well you were getting your teeth cleaned yesterday.
- 0:07SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yesterday was my actual scheduled cleaning, so uh but it was just the day before they did a little uh I I I guess you could say they smoothed out one of my teeth and put like a little I have a wear spot.
- 0:17SPEAKER_02: Apparently I grind my teeth from it's all your fault.
- 0:20SPEAKER_02: I bet you know just sitting here.
- 0:21SPEAKER_01: You have nightmares about me every single night.
- 0:23SPEAKER_02: God.
- 0:24SPEAKER_02: So she goes, you know, it can happen over time.
- 0:26SPEAKER_02: So she fixed that Tuesday.
- 0:28SPEAKER_02: Yesterday was the cleaning.
- 0:29SPEAKER_02: Funny observation.
- 0:30SPEAKER_02: Uh-huh.
- 0:31SPEAKER_02: And it's please understand, I I very much believe in oral maintenance.
- 0:35SPEAKER_02: I mean, I brush my teeth, you know, daily daily.
- 0:38SPEAKER_02: Thank God.
- 0:39SPEAKER_01: I mean, I I never smell it.
- 0:41SPEAKER_02: Thank you.
- 0:41SPEAKER_02: And I floss on uh, you know, rare but occasions, you know.
- 0:44SPEAKER_02: I mean it is what it is.
- 0:46SPEAKER_01: I mean it is what it is.
- 0:48SPEAKER_02: Well, more people are probably like me where we're like maybe not the best of flossers, but you know, we're good brushers.
- 0:53SPEAKER_01: I cannot imagine being Tiffany.
- 0:55SPEAKER_01: Ah well kissing that mouth.
- 0:57SPEAKER_01: No, it's always clean, you know.
- 0:59SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 1:01SPEAKER_01: With meat left over from 4th of July.
- 1:03SPEAKER_02: That's when I'll actually floss.
- 1:05SPEAKER_02: When I'm like, I feel the flapper going, you know, there's I feel it every day.
- 1:08SPEAKER_02: Oh, you mustn't have a weird setup with your teeth.
- 1:10SPEAKER_02: My teeth are so close together, it's like all one tooth.
- 1:13SPEAKER_02: That's why no, but that's why you should floss.
- 1:15SPEAKER_02: I know.
- 1:16SPEAKER_02: That's what she said too.
- 1:16SPEAKER_02: But I always do Dr.
- 1:18SPEAKER_01: Mintchin or Tiffany?
- 1:19SPEAKER_02: No, the uh um uh dental hygienist, she goes, uh when you feel right.
- 1:23SPEAKER_02: Well, I don't know.
- 1:24SPEAKER_02: Okay, was one of them.
- 1:25SPEAKER_02: Uh, but she goes, when you feel a piece of meat going, that's when you gotta floss.
- 1:30SPEAKER_01: Every day.
- 1:31SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 1:31SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 1:31SPEAKER_02: Well, like, you know, leave me alone, I brush every single day, sometimes multiple times.
- 1:35SPEAKER_01: You don't even use those Christmas trees?
- 1:37SPEAKER_01: I don't like those.
- 1:38SPEAKER_02: I don't like those.
- 1:39SPEAKER_02: The plastic ones?
- 1:40SPEAKER_02: I'm like, I the way they're designed, I can again, my teeth are so close together.
- 1:44SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I like snap that little piece of string in there all the time.
- 1:48SPEAKER_02: Like, I gotta get in there with like some sort of climbing rope and and and try to drive it in.
- 1:52SPEAKER_01: No, no, no.
- 1:53SPEAKER_01: Get the ones that are, it looks like a Christmas tree, not the not the placards.
- 1:58SPEAKER_01: Oh.
- 1:58SPEAKER_01: It's and it's all plastic.
- 2:00SPEAKER_01: Oh, I can just shove that right in there and then the meat just and the meat just moves right out.
- 2:07SPEAKER_02: So the funny observation is you know your four front lower teeth.
- 2:10SPEAKER_02: After you go to the dentist, at least in my case, I realize, oh, I have four there.
- 2:14SPEAKER_02: It's not just one across.
- 2:17unknown: Oh my gosh.
- 2:18SPEAKER_01: I worry about you.
- 2:20SPEAKER_01: Because we talked about this a week or so ago.
- 2:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 2:23SPEAKER_01: Did you hear any of the dentist songs while you were there?
- 2:27SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 2:28SPEAKER_02: This is the funniest thing.
- 2:30SPEAKER_02: So I tease them about this.
- 2:31SPEAKER_02: I go, you're really throwing off our playlist uh conversation here.
- 2:35SPEAKER_02: We had talked about the fact that our dentist is like total, what would be yacht ra it's it's matchbox 20, it's cold play, it's uh, you know, uh, what's that one driving cars or whatever, or driving uh whatever.
- 2:48SPEAKER_02: It's you know, it's everything early 2000s, you know, that sort of pop train, you know.
- 2:54SPEAKER_01: Please tell me you heard the monster mash yesterday.
- 2:57SPEAKER_02: No, so on Tuesday when I was in, the kids actually had their appointment and I was getting that little, you know, fixed job on the one-tooth.
- 3:03SPEAKER_02: It was like the one tooth he has left.
- 3:05SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 3:06SPEAKER_02: It was the listen, it's uh it's uh they were playing like this rockabilly stuff.
- 3:12SPEAKER_01: Oh, I love this.
- 3:14SPEAKER_01: What were they playing, like the stray cats or something?
- 3:16SPEAKER_02: No, no, not even that.
- 3:16SPEAKER_02: It was all very country leaning, but it was like that, you know, not twangy, but it was you know, I almost thought I heard John Deere Green.
- 3:24SPEAKER_01: So I'm like I wonder if they have each person gets to pick the playlist every day.
- 3:29SPEAKER_01: Wouldn't that be fun?
- 3:30SPEAKER_01: That's kind of what it was.
- 3:30SPEAKER_02: I go, you're really throwing off our conversation here that you guys had like, you know, what is what would become modern yacht rock, which is like Matchbox 20, and we used to call it, you know, call your mom music.
- 3:40SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 3:40SPEAKER_02: And uh, and she goes, Yeah, we gotta switch it up once in a while so we don't get bored.
- 3:44SPEAKER_02: Well, then I go in yesterday, they're right back to cold play, and you know, and I'm like, okay, we're good.
- 3:49SPEAKER_00: It was all yellow.
- 3:52SPEAKER_02: I heard yellow, I did, and they're like, That's not your tooth.
- 3:55SPEAKER_02: Like, good, very nice.
- 3:57SPEAKER_02: Awesome.
- 3:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, okay, but you gotta.
- 3:59SPEAKER_02: Oh, and then and then on the 12th, I gotta go and have this thing yanked out.
- 4:02SPEAKER_01: Well, there you go.
- 4:03SPEAKER_01: I think that that's that's the solution you need because if not, it's gonna rear its ugly head again.
- 4:08SPEAKER_02: I I'm on antibiotics.
- 4:10SPEAKER_02: She goes, we're gonna keep that, we're gonna keep that calm.
- 4:12SPEAKER_01: Wait, doesn't that prevent you from pooping?
- 4:15SPEAKER_01: No, no.
- 4:16SPEAKER_02: I may not poop this morning.
- 4:18SPEAKER_01: Uh so I don't know if that happens.
- 4:21SPEAKER_01: Well, or or is it that it can cause a yeast infection?
- 4:23SPEAKER_02: I'm worried about my vagina, but not right.
- 4:26SPEAKER_02: Not that much.
- 4:27SPEAKER_02: Not that much at some point.
- 4:29SPEAKER_01: Um, we have so much Halloween stuff to cover today, by the way.
- 4:32SPEAKER_01: We do.
- 4:33SPEAKER_01: Because well, because it's like a couple days before Halloween, and I missed all the Halloween conversations when I was gone.
- 4:38SPEAKER_01: Oh, and a ton of them.
- 4:39SPEAKER_01: I know, I know.
- 4:40SPEAKER_01: So I do want to cover that.
- 4:42SPEAKER_01: I also do want to talk a little bit about the halftime show because I wasn't here when you announced it.
- 4:49SPEAKER_01: Well, you do want to pick up that conversation.
- 4:51SPEAKER_02: So you and I got that announcement, I mean, unofficially.
- 4:54SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 4:55SPEAKER_02: Days before you left on vacation.
- 4:57SPEAKER_01: And then I even joked, I said because we're friends with Beyoncé.
- 5:00SPEAKER_01: Well, you know.
- 5:00SPEAKER_02: Uh, and I even joked, I said, Well, here's the most anticlimactic announcement for the halftime show.
- 5:05SPEAKER_02: Now it's official.
- 5:06SPEAKER_02: And uh, so I'm I'm curious where you want to go with that.
- 5:09SPEAKER_02: I do want to start with this the most anticlimactic World Series end.
- 5:12SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah.
- 5:14SPEAKER_02: We've got the first time World Series champion, Milwaukee Brewers.
- 5:18SPEAKER_02: Okay, that's all we need.
- 5:19SPEAKER_02: Um here's the thing uh it's like watching Seattle in a Super Bowl.
- 5:24SPEAKER_02: You're like, how boring.
- 5:25SPEAKER_02: So I have no interest in that team.
- 5:27SPEAKER_02: You know what I mean?
- 5:28SPEAKER_02: Like, there are these teams.
- 5:29SPEAKER_02: Like, I I know the Yankees have been a ton of times.
- 5:32SPEAKER_02: I don't know why.
- 5:32SPEAKER_02: Even though I'm not a Yankees fan, it's something with the connection here in New York and this East Coast.
- 5:37SPEAKER_02: This, I I could care less about the Devil Rays, I could care less about Milwaukee.
- 5:41SPEAKER_02: Congratulations, you won.
- 5:42SPEAKER_01: But it's like how boring.
- 5:44SPEAKER_01: There are people who are baseball fans.
- 5:45SPEAKER_01: My best friend, he is a tried and true baseball fan.
- 5:49SPEAKER_01: He will watch all the World Series games.
- 5:52SPEAKER_01: And my boyfriend is also a tried and true baseball fan.
- 5:55SPEAKER_01: But even he said yesterday, I just can't do it.
- 5:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he watched it the night before when it went into what was it, eleven or twelve innings?
- 6:03SPEAKER_02: Oh my gosh, that thing just kept going.
- 6:04SPEAKER_01: And he said it was boring.
- 6:06SPEAKER_01: Boring, more boring.
- 6:07SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 6:08SPEAKER_01: He went to bed and he goes, I found out that there was a home run right after I went to bed.
- 6:12SPEAKER_01: Of course.
- 6:12SPEAKER_01: So last night, I think he kind of gave up and then it ended.
- 6:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 6:18SPEAKER_02: I mean, it is.
- 6:19SPEAKER_01: It sounds like to a true baseball fan, which is not me, but to a true baseball fan, even they were like, Yeah, like I said, it's like if Seattle's in the w in the Super Bowl, I'm like, I don't care.
- 6:31SPEAKER_02: I don't care.
- 6:31SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 6:32SPEAKER_02: I'd be like, you know, like if Dallas made it, I'm like, well, like it's really rude for you to lose.
- 6:36SPEAKER_02: Okay, Toothie, you ready to go?
- 6:39SPEAKER_02: Okay, he the Toothie's ready.
- 6:40SPEAKER_01: Perfect.
