- 0:16Speaker 1: been doing.
- 0:17Speaker 2: This, something we did on the air, something our.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Personal meeting with us, or an encounter, you know. And
- 0:24Speaker 1: it doesn't have to be all sweetness and light, you know,
- 0:27Speaker 1: it could be I can't remember our day you told
- 0:29Speaker 1: me to go to hell.
- 0:31Speaker 3: You know, we've had people call it say I won,
- 0:33Speaker 3: I won the boner once.
- 0:35Speaker 4: That's true.
- 0:36Speaker 3: I've turned my life around. But I want it for
- 0:39Speaker 3: something we've heard from those kinds of people. Yeah, you
- 0:42Speaker 3: can't email us those two if you can't call in

- 2:19Speaker 6: I love, love love Space Elders.
- 2:23Speaker 4: Well, you'll be coming home soon, Zane.
- 2:26Speaker 3: Tell people what Space Elders was. If they don't, it's
- 2:29Speaker 3: been a long time since.
- 2:30Speaker 5: It's Mormon missionaries in space, and it was. They encountered
- 2:37Speaker 5: people like Darth Vader or the Borg Queen or jahwas
- 2:41Speaker 5: or you know, Captain Kirk, whether it's Christiansen and Jensen,
- 2:50Speaker 5: Jensen and Christiansen elders.
- 2:52Speaker 7: Yea.
- 2:53Speaker 5: And they had the space rocket bikes that they would
- 2:57Speaker 5: fly around and.
- 2:58Speaker 1: There they're out there spreading the word, preaching the gospel.
- 3:03Speaker 2: And it was it was very sweet.
- 3:06Speaker 5: It wasn't There were a lot of missionaries who would
- 3:09Speaker 5: record those are people at homes who would record them
- 3:13Speaker 5: and send them to their missionary.
- 3:14Speaker 3: It was not slamming the Mormon Church at all. They
- 3:17Speaker 3: were they were sweet characters.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Yeah, they were. They were both very well. Butch was
- 3:22Speaker 1: kind of a he's kind of a slacker missionary.
- 3:26Speaker 4: Yeah, he was.
- 3:26Speaker 3: He was.
- 3:27Speaker 5: He was on a mission because his dad promised to
- 3:30Speaker 5: get him a car when he got home.
- 3:32Speaker 1: And then I was an elder Christian. I don't remember Moroni.
- 3:42Speaker 4: And Lehigh Lehigh, Lehigh.
- 3:47Speaker 1: Yeah, and he was My character was you know, sincere
- 3:51Speaker 1: and and go gung home to spread the gosp.
- 3:54Speaker 5: Even after Vader chopped off his army to say, Butch,
- 3:57Speaker 5: would you pick up my arm place?
- 3:58Speaker 4: Yeah? All right, thank you, Dave, all.
- 4:02Speaker 6: Right, thanks guys.
- 4:03Speaker 4: You in September, thank you to oh that don don
- 4:08Speaker 4: it's been a while.
- 4:10Speaker 8: Yeah, my schedule does not allow.
- 4:15Speaker 2: You're busy man, Don.
- 4:18Speaker 8: Well, and I work in hell. But hold on, let
- 4:22Speaker 8: me get on my phone here.
- 4:24Speaker 4: Yeah, it'd be a good idea. Yeah, so that we
- 4:27Speaker 4: can hear your radio call in future. That would be.
- 4:32Speaker 9: But I was driving in my car because I came
- 4:34Speaker 9: over to pick up my daughter and my granddaughters to
- 4:36Speaker 9: go down to Fremont. But one of my favorite memories
- 4:40Speaker 9: of all time is when we went to squad Ors,
- 4:43Speaker 9: my daughter and I and I only had one ticket
- 4:46Speaker 9: and we went in there and said, hey, is there
- 4:48Speaker 9: any way I know you sold out, but is there
- 4:50Speaker 9: any way you can give us a ticket?
- 4:52Speaker 7: We'll buy a ticket. And the lady just gave Brianna
- 4:55Speaker 7: a ticket's and Kurt Bester was there and he said
- 4:59Speaker 7: we were wearing the European hats, right, and he goes, oh,
- 5:02Speaker 7: you're the most European people here.
- 5:06Speaker 9: Thank you. My daughter takes him a rose every time
- 5:09Speaker 9: we go to see him.
- 5:11Speaker 4: Thank you. See it on? Thanks Don. Tiffany is here? Tiffany?
- 5:16Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 5:17Speaker 10: Hi?
- 5:18Speaker 4: What have you got?
- 5:21Speaker 11: In two thousand and five, I won nine inch nails
- 5:24Speaker 11: tickets for their I think it was like their February
- 5:27Speaker 11: or it is.
- 5:28Speaker 12: A spring show.
- 5:30Speaker 10: And the question was who sing's gonna make your brown
- 5:33Speaker 10: eyes blue?
- 5:35Speaker 4: Crystal Gale. Yeah, don'ut make your brown eyes blue?
- 5:38Speaker 2: Yeah you remember that?
- 5:41Speaker 13: Yeah, I do.
- 5:42Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 5:42Speaker 11: I was pregnant and.
- 5:43Speaker 9: I ended up not being able to go because I
- 5:45Speaker 9: was due in April.
- 5:47Speaker 11: So my husband and his best.
- 5:49Speaker 4: Friend Lin are you still married?
- 5:53Speaker 13: Yes we are.
- 5:54Speaker 10: Yeah, we just celebrated twenty years.
- 5:56Speaker 3: Okay, okay, okay, thank you, Tiffany, thank you.
- 6:00Speaker 4: Go to Alison. Hey, Alison, Hey, good.
- 6:05Speaker 12: Front of the program, Alison Sabo. My memory of Radio
- 6:10Speaker 12: from Hell will always be of Kyle Brown. He was
- 6:16Speaker 12: one of my favorites when he would call in and
- 6:19Speaker 12: say his outrageous and crazy stories. And then actually one
- 6:23Speaker 12: time I I met him at a party and I
- 6:26Speaker 12: was the aggressive fan and when I want.
- 6:29Speaker 10: To meet you, you're Kyle Brown.
- 6:30Speaker 12: You're you are Kyle Brown. And after after my being
- 6:36Speaker 12: aggressive toward him, we became lifelong friends.
- 6:40Speaker 11: Oh God, would correspond.
- 6:42Speaker 12: And have dinner and and he it ripped my heart.
- 6:46Speaker 11: Out when he was diagnosed and passed away. So I
- 6:50Speaker 11: love Kyle so very much, and I'm glad that through
- 6:54Speaker 11: Radio from Hell we all had the chance to meet him.
- 6:58Speaker 11: As a paras social bestie or an actual.
- 7:00Speaker 4: Best Yeah, thank you, Allison.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Nice to bring.
- 7:04Speaker 5: Cry Let's see uh the first All Day Show and
- 7:10Speaker 5: little Bill coming in to do his reading homework. Bill
- 7:14Speaker 5: was working at JEEP show. I tried to talk to
- 7:16Speaker 5: him and he was well less than social.
- 7:19Speaker 2: M you were busy at the JEEP show.
- 7:21Speaker 4: I was probably busy.
- 7:22Speaker 5: That's why I remember those great off menu dinners at
- 7:26Speaker 5: Z Tejas when Chef Todd was oh, those were good.
- 7:28Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, let's see the Oh, let me get the
- 7:32Speaker 4: there we go.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Memories of radio from hell, personal meetings with us, things
- 7:37Speaker 1: you heard on the radio, whatever you like.
- 7:39Speaker 4: Go to Roger, Hi, Roger, Hello, good morning, Good morning.
- 7:44Speaker 4: What what's your memory? Roger.
- 7:47Speaker 8: I hate to be a bummer, but I woke up
- 7:50Speaker 8: to the news of September eleventh with you guys. My
- 7:52Speaker 8: clock radio went off and Bill was talking about the
- 7:57Speaker 8: first playing or the plane hitting the tower. Not sure
- 8:00Speaker 8: what was going on, and ran upstairs to my family
- 8:03Speaker 8: and said, hey, we got to turn on the TV.
- 8:05Speaker 8: And then we were watching the Today Show, and you know,
- 8:08Speaker 8: obviously the second plane hit and that was that. But
- 8:11Speaker 8: I tend to remember, and maybe my memory is off,
- 8:13Speaker 8: but I want to see you guys have stayed on
- 8:15Speaker 8: for a good part of the day, and I just
- 8:18Speaker 8: remember listening and I don't know, it's one of those
- 8:22Speaker 8: weird things, but I'll always remember Bill's voice.
- 8:25Speaker 4: And uh and actually it was it was nice, you know.
- 8:29Speaker 8: It wasn't like, actually that sounds really morbid. But I
- 8:33Speaker 8: think you know what I mean.
- 8:34Speaker 4: Yeah, I know, yeah, I do know what you mean.
- 8:36Speaker 4: It's uh and it's so you you could.
- 8:41Speaker 1: You're hearing something awful and it's being told to you
- 8:44Speaker 1: by somebody whose voice you like, and and and.
- 8:50Speaker 4: And trust and trust.
- 8:51Speaker 5: I guess yeah, yep, thank you, thank you, Roger.
- 8:56Speaker 8: Thank you, Yeah, thank you, guys.
- 8:58Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 8:59Speaker 2: It's Ranger Kate, Kate, good morning.
- 9:04Speaker 13: Well even I've been listening to you guys since the
- 9:06Speaker 13: late nineties. Dedicated van and nine to eleven is also
- 9:09Speaker 13: one of my difficult favorite memories. Honestly, my favorite is
- 9:13Speaker 13: probably the birth of Ranger Kate. When I called in
- 9:16Speaker 13: for an next poll where You're like, what could you
- 9:17Speaker 13: talk about for hours? And I was like, I could
- 9:19Speaker 13: talk about the National.
- 9:20Speaker 6: Books, and Jeanie goes, are you a Ranger?
- 9:24Speaker 13: And I was like, why, yes, yes, I am.
- 9:27Speaker 4: So your favorite memory is you lying to us? Is that?
- 9:30Speaker 9: What?
- 9:32Speaker 13: Hey? No, I am a dedicated junior ranger. I'm actually
- 9:35Speaker 13: bummed I'm missing your fortieth party because I'm headed back
- 9:37Speaker 13: to the Sbity this weekend for another pilgrimage there. So I
- 9:42Speaker 13: am a junior ranger there.
- 9:43Speaker 9: All right?
- 9:44Speaker 1: Well, it's good are you? Are you on an official
- 9:46Speaker 1: junior Ranger list somewhere?
- 9:49Speaker 12: Uh?
- 9:50Speaker 6: Probably?
- 9:50Speaker 13: I Actually I should look into that and ask some
- 9:52Speaker 13: of the rangers at the park, like how many adults
- 9:55Speaker 13: dedicate themselves to the program and get the junior Ranger badges?
- 9:58Speaker 13: And how many? How many badges do the adults have?
- 10:01Speaker 13: Do I have the most?
- 10:02Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 10:03Speaker 2: You should look into that.
- 10:04Speaker 13: Why now, but thank you guys.
- 10:12Speaker 4: Letter. Let's go to Scott. Hi. Scott, what's your memory
- 10:16Speaker 4: Scott Hike? Hike?
- 10:19Speaker 14: I used to love well, I do Punk, the guy
- 10:23Speaker 14: that would review movies and tell you about the B
- 10:27Speaker 14: B minus movie and then give you what to eat
- 10:30Speaker 14: during the movie.
- 10:30Speaker 2: Hunk.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Yeah, Punk is junk junk food update, movie review and
- 10:34Speaker 1: junk food update.
- 10:36Speaker 14: Yep, yep, that was great.
- 10:39Speaker 4: I'm glad.
- 10:39Speaker 3: You're glad to glad Punk passed away a few years ago.
- 10:43Speaker 4: We we loved Punk.
- 10:44Speaker 1: We had a great time with him.
- 10:47Speaker 4: Yep, he was. He was a delightful human being. Really, yes, yeah,
- 10:54Speaker 4: thanks Scott, Let's go to best.
- 10:56Speaker 2: Hello, Besty, good morning morning by what's your memory, Hie?
- 11:05Speaker 10: So god, I was trying to think what year it was.
- 11:08Speaker 10: I know, Chris Cornels had just passed away, and Gina,
- 11:11Speaker 10: you were talking about go to the concerts, don't don't
- 11:14Speaker 10: think about missing things, and I was, you guys were
- 11:17Speaker 10: gonna go blumping up at very Lake, and so I think,
- 11:21Speaker 10: I'm I'm going to go do that with my husband.
- 11:23Speaker 10: And we brought our son and hung out with you guys,
- 11:26Speaker 10: had dinner. It was really fun. Anyway, my husband passed
- 11:30Speaker 10: away in twenty twenty, so that was a really fun
- 11:33Speaker 10: family memory and today he would have been forty nine.
- 11:35Speaker 2: Oh I'm sorry.
- 11:37Speaker 1: Well then I'm glad. I'm glad you have that good
- 11:40Speaker 1: memory of it and that we were somehow involved in that.
- 11:44Speaker 4: That's that's very nice.
- 11:46Speaker 10: Yeah, no, you guys, you guys were great. I had long,
- 11:49Speaker 10: curly hair and you guys thought it was awesome.
- 11:51Speaker 12: Anyway.
- 11:53Speaker 10: Yeah, that was a really fun thing and I'm so
- 11:57Speaker 10: glad that I that.
- 11:58Speaker 4: We went to that.
- 11:59Speaker 2: Yeah, do the thing always go do the thing, thanks exactly.
- 12:03Speaker 2: Always do the thing all right, Beth, thanks best, thank you.
- 12:06Speaker 5: Let's see, I've been listening to you for about thirty
- 12:09Speaker 5: five years, and honestly, I don't know where my life
- 12:11Speaker 5: would be without you guys. Thank you for everything. And
- 12:14Speaker 5: I can't belave it's been thirty five years or more.
- 12:18Speaker 5: Tea kettle Gina's uncontrolled laugh. It's her favorite memory. I
- 12:23Speaker 5: love the story that Gina told about Jonesy when she
- 12:27Speaker 5: wanted butter noodles for her birthday dinner. Her dad made
- 12:30Speaker 5: her buttered noodles but put spices on it, and Jonesy
- 12:34Speaker 5: was very disappointed.
- 12:36Speaker 2: Your birthday, You should have it the way you want.
- 12:38Speaker 5: Gave me a good chuckle. I laugh every time I
- 12:39Speaker 5: think about it. My memory is my family going to
- 12:43Speaker 5: see you do the show at Snowbird for October Fest.
- 12:46Speaker 5: We were the only one there and you all shared your.
- 12:48Speaker 4: Bowl of fresh fruit with us.
- 12:51Speaker 5: Nice gesture. Margaret, Ruth our Son, Kyle Sister, Dottie Space
- 12:56Speaker 5: Elders the tracks man here. I've been driving for this
- 13:01Speaker 5: company almost twenty seven.
- 13:02Speaker 4: Years, and you guys have been with me every morning.
- 13:05Speaker 5: I can say I relate to each one of you
- 13:07Speaker 5: in some way, and you've helped me form my opinions
- 13:09Speaker 5: on many things. Your chemistry together is bar none. Here's
- 13:14Speaker 5: too many more mornings much love.
- 13:17Speaker 4: Let's see.
- 13:19Speaker 5: I own the Cheap Live xCD with the biggest show
- 13:22Speaker 5: acts on it.
- 13:23Speaker 4: It has a Space Elders as a secret track. Yeah,
- 13:26Speaker 4: that's right.
- 13:27Speaker 5: Also something with Mulder and Scully. It's the X ninety
- 13:31Speaker 5: six files. It's a sketchy blake.
- 13:36Speaker 4: Carrie said, I'm like a cancer that doesn't go away.
- 13:40Speaker 4: All right. Let's see.
- 13:43Speaker 5: I met Bill at Southtown Volkswagen in twenty ten. He
- 13:46Speaker 5: made fun of my nineteen ninety one Dodge Spirit, to
- 13:50Speaker 5: which I replied, it's a nice economic automobile and it
- 13:55Speaker 5: cost me six hundred bucks. Contrary to popular belief, he
- 13:58Speaker 5: was one of the nicest people ever.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Okay, contrary to popular believe, Bill was one of the
- 14:05Speaker 1: nicest people.
- 14:06Speaker 4: Ever, Gina saying I'm sexy, dammit hardly.
- 14:13Speaker 5: I remember playing beat Gina and the topic was serial Killers,
- 14:16Speaker 5: but we won Christian band tickets. I thought it was strange.
- 14:22Speaker 5: We may not have known they were a Christian. Let's see,
- 14:27Speaker 5: I remember Chuck Hasten many disaster movies. They were super funny.
- 14:32Speaker 5: Sister Dottie was my favorite. Yeah, let's see. My favorite
- 14:37Speaker 5: Radio from Hell memories are Punk's movie reviews. That's what
- 14:39Speaker 5: got me into you Guys way back in two thousand
- 14:42Speaker 5: and three. His reviews also got me into b movies.
- 14:47Speaker 2: I got an email.
- 14:49Speaker 3: You can email us your stories too, Radio from Hell
- 14:52Speaker 3: at X ninety six dot com. Greetings lords, this is
- 14:54Speaker 3: Basie Casey. I've been listening to Radio from Hell since
- 14:57Speaker 3: I was in the sixth grade. I'm forty one now.
- 15:00Speaker 3: Some of my favorite moments with Radio from Hell are
- 15:02Speaker 3: as follows. In high school, I used to sluugh Seminary
- 15:05Speaker 3: and drive to Trolley Corners to get.
- 15:07Speaker 2: A coffee and watch the show live.
- 15:08Speaker 4: Oh yeah, I was able to be.
- 15:10Speaker 3: Best friend of the program and hang out with you
- 15:12Speaker 3: guys for a day. My brother and I were on
- 15:14Speaker 3: the ask A feature at the time. We were taking
- 15:16Speaker 3: over our parents' live auction business act ask An Auctioneer.
- 15:20Speaker 2: Remember that my brother made you guys bit on a pen.
- 15:26Speaker 3: And there was a time when You Guys used to
- 15:27Speaker 3: do a feature where listeners would call in and leave
- 15:29Speaker 3: a voicemail discussing a predetermined subject. I think it's how
- 15:33Speaker 3: you used to do the X poll anyway. The subject
- 15:35Speaker 3: was if you were a stripper, what would your stripper
- 15:37Speaker 3: name be and what would your song be that you
- 15:39Speaker 3: danced to. My stripper name was Teddy Rumpskin and my
- 15:42Speaker 3: song was I Could Never Be Your Woman. So many
- 15:45Speaker 3: other memories, Love you guys, see you on Saturday, Basie.
- 15:49Speaker 5: Oh okay, you guys aren't fart junk people, thank god.
- 15:53Speaker 5: But that one time Carrie pulled the mic down to
- 15:55Speaker 5: his butt and farted.
- 15:57Speaker 4: Yeah, I remember one time.
- 15:59Speaker 5: It's funny years one time in forty years, it's funny
- 16:02Speaker 5: and acceptable.
- 16:03Speaker 1: And what was amazing about that was Carrie did that,
- 16:07Speaker 1: claiming carry claims, and I think he still claims that
- 16:10Speaker 1: he can fart on demand.
- 16:12Speaker 4: I can't, which is we all have our talent. It's
- 16:16Speaker 4: just bizarre that he could. You can do that.
- 16:19Speaker 5: Mermaid Angie finally meeting Bill after many years and getting
- 16:22Speaker 5: a fundraising burlesque show, I still have yet.
- 16:25Speaker 4: To meet Gina and Carrie. Well we're available, yeah around.
- 16:31Speaker 5: Let's see Brett from the chat room here. My radio
- 16:34Speaker 5: from hell me memory was writing front Runner and someone
- 16:37Speaker 5: farted it. I posted in the chat room and Carry
- 16:40Speaker 5: read it on the air. I'd always been a fan before,
- 16:42Speaker 5: but that made me a super fan. Yeah, you don't
- 16:46Speaker 5: want to fart on the front runner. No, let's see,
- 16:50Speaker 5: we came to an all day show and we're offered
- 16:53Speaker 5: pizza cones that some business had brought in. Carrie skewled
- 16:58Speaker 5: at my son when he took a second one, not
- 17:00Speaker 5: realizing that Bill had offered. He still suffers from an
- 17:03Speaker 5: irrational fear of radio personalities.
- 17:05Speaker 4: Well that's good. That's a good thing. That's actually good.
- 17:09Speaker 5: Yeah, I feel like I've taught him a lesson. Let's
- 17:13Speaker 5: see punk, Kyle Dove, Supporan, oh Dove, Yeah, Dove, Yeah,
- 17:18Speaker 5: and more than one movie critic. Yeah, that's true. Let's see.
- 17:26Speaker 5: I have strong memories. This is Clark strong memories listening
- 17:29Speaker 5: to your show for almost twenty years while working construction.
- 17:32Speaker 5: I was introduced to you by my brother in law,
