- 0:39Speaker 3: Hi.
- 0:39Speaker 4: Everybody, welcome to cats and pudding. And today I have
- 0:43Speaker 4: two great gas, not one, but yo great gas today
- 0:48Speaker 4: my beautiful Catherine and my beautiful Gabriella. I look how gorgeous?
- 0:53Speaker 4: Look at that? And then mother Rendora? Then mother, is
- 0:57Speaker 4: that amazing?
- 0:58Speaker 5: Sometimes when people see us on this street, to be lying,
- 1:00Speaker 5: we just say we're sisters.
- 1:01Speaker 4: You did you ever see my older daughter? We look
- 1:05Speaker 4: exactly alike.
- 1:06Speaker 2: I saw your I saw your Christmas card on your
- 1:09Speaker 2: Instagram and I noticed that that you looked exactly alike.
- 1:13Speaker 2: But I did meet your youngest daughter, and she's lovely.
- 1:16Speaker 4: Thank you. She's she's very she's very tall. Yeah, and
- 1:18Speaker 4: my oldest one is very short. It's so funny, but
- 1:20Speaker 4: we look like clones. And when people see her they
- 1:24Speaker 4: think it's funny. They'll stop her in the street and
- 1:26Speaker 4: be like, you're you're Gen's daughter, right, like they when
- 1:29Speaker 4: she was young, Like you know, she's like you Gen's daughter,
- 1:32Speaker 4: aren't you. They're like, yeah, yeah, because they couldn't tell
- 1:35Speaker 4: like she it looks like she was only made by me.
- 1:37Speaker 4: It's exactly. But you guys look a lot alike. And
- 1:40Speaker 4: you have how many other you have two other daughters.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Right, yes, so Gabriella is in the middle. We have
- 1:45Speaker 2: Lauren and Gabriella and then Sophia my baby. So yes,
- 1:50Speaker 2: But Gabrielle and I we just like the same things,
- 1:54Speaker 2: do the same things. We're almost the same person.
- 1:58Speaker 4: So do you feel and you feel like you guys
- 2:00Speaker 4: do the most together.
- 2:02Speaker 1: We do.
- 2:03Speaker 5: We have a lot of the same interests, like pageantry
- 2:07Speaker 5: and reality TV, and you know, just going to different
- 2:10Speaker 5: events and meeting different people. Where are my sisters? They
- 2:12Speaker 5: like going to school, going to like the museum, and
- 2:15Speaker 5: like reading books.
- 2:16Speaker 2: You know, we don't want about books. If I get
- 2:18Speaker 2: my book, I all of a sudden start fall asleep.
- 2:21Speaker 2: So I'm not a very good reader. We do a
- 2:23Speaker 2: lot of family things. Yesterday we went to Block Island
- 2:26Speaker 2: as a family. We'll go bike riding as a family.
- 2:28Speaker 2: We'll do things as a family.
- 2:30Speaker 1: Mom and I are getting booked and busy.
- 2:31Speaker 4: Yeah, booked and busyoked and busy. So do the other
- 2:35Speaker 4: girls get upset that you spend more time with Gab
- 2:39Speaker 4: than with them.
- 2:39Speaker 2: They really don't. And I do get a lot of
- 2:42Speaker 2: hate online.
- 2:43Speaker 5: People can't understand it. They're like, oh my goodness, they're
- 2:46Speaker 5: probably so jealous. It's like jealous. You think my sisters,
- 2:51Speaker 5: if you met them or you saw them on our
- 2:53Speaker 5: reality show, you think that they want to be dressing
- 2:55Speaker 5: a matching right, going in pageants and walking in runway shows.
- 3:00Speaker 1: They would never they would.
- 3:01Speaker 4: Never want to their personality.
- 3:03Speaker 5: Absolutely, and it would actually be it would actually be
- 3:06Speaker 5: weird to like force someone to do what they're like
- 3:09Speaker 5: not meant to do. So it's actually nice that my
- 3:11Speaker 5: mom doesn't force them to match with us, you.
- 3:13Speaker 4: Know exactly because and and you know, people don't understand that.
- 3:16Speaker 4: I think when they when they have an image of
- 3:18Speaker 4: you and they're looking at you on your show, which
- 3:21Speaker 4: you are on a very popular show, and it's about
- 3:24Speaker 4: mothers and daughters and about their relationships and about the
- 3:28Speaker 4: commonalities in your relationships. Yes, I guess they kind of
- 3:32Speaker 4: think that it's I don't. I mean I don't. They
- 3:35Speaker 4: think it's like, are you just picking one child? And
- 3:37Speaker 4: they don't see that, you know, not every child is
- 3:39Speaker 4: the same, like when you I have three daughters and
- 3:41Speaker 4: they're all completely different exactly where one is like I
- 3:46Speaker 4: could do everything with her or certain things with with
- 3:48Speaker 4: with her, and the other ones are like, I'm not
- 3:51Speaker 4: going to force the other ones to do the same
- 3:54Speaker 4: activity if they don't want to do it. But if
- 3:56Speaker 4: I like something and the other ones don't and my
- 3:59Speaker 4: one daughter does, it's not like I'm excluding them. They
- 4:02Speaker 4: don't want to do it exactly, I'm not going to
- 4:03Speaker 4: force them to do it. So it's not you shouldn't
- 4:05Speaker 4: take that as being all.
- 4:07Speaker 2: She takes it well, No, I mean I love them all.
- 4:11Speaker 2: They're my girls, and I support them different ways. Like
- 4:15Speaker 2: the little one, she is a dancer, so we go
- 4:18Speaker 2: to dance competitions. We carry their suitcases and their rack
- 4:22Speaker 2: and roll in all the ten costumes, so we support
- 4:26Speaker 2: them in different ways. And the sisters we call them
- 4:29Speaker 2: the sisters. They asked the show they happened to be
- 4:32Speaker 2: the fan favorites. Yes, and you know it wasn't something
- 4:36Speaker 2: that they would sign up for.
- 4:38Speaker 1: Now, they definitely wouldn't.
- 4:40Speaker 2: They they like it.
- 4:42Speaker 5: They secretly liked it. They said that they didn't, but
- 4:45Speaker 5: you know, well, my little sister's a foodie. So on set,
- 4:48Speaker 5: you get free food, right, and so she was all
- 4:51Speaker 5: about that every single day, the free lunch.
- 4:53Speaker 1: She loved it. So that's how we got her.
- 4:55Speaker 2: She was happy.
- 4:56Speaker 4: Now, where do you sit in in the in the
- 4:58Speaker 4: in the like in the dye the family, you're too.
- 5:02Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm the middle child, which everyone thinks I'm the oldest,
- 5:05Speaker 5: but I'm the middle child.
- 5:07Speaker 4: No, I could tell you're a middle child because they're
- 5:09Speaker 4: most flamboyant. Yeah, my middle one is the most. You know,
- 5:13Speaker 4: she's the most you know, has the most personality, and
- 5:15Speaker 4: she's very funny and she's very personable. So I could
- 5:19Speaker 4: yeah you are, and yeah, yeah you could tell she is.
- 5:23Speaker 4: And she's very loving.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Ever since she was born, ever since she was a baby,
- 5:27Speaker 2: Like she was always attached to me. If I was
- 5:29Speaker 2: on the phone with the friend or they'd be like,
- 5:32Speaker 2: oh here, Gabrielle next to you. So she was always
- 5:36Speaker 2: like attached to me. Doesn't mean that the other ones weren't.
- 5:39Speaker 2: It just means that we're just very close.
- 5:42Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 5:42Speaker 1: I think it's a great thing.
- 5:44Speaker 5: And even though I'm getting older, like my mom still
- 5:46Speaker 5: packs my lunch and she does my laundry. And yes,
- 5:49Speaker 5: I live at home, but I'm saving a ton of money.
- 5:51Speaker 4: Yeah, I want Now, how old are you? I'm twenty four,
- 5:54Speaker 4: twenty four, okay, so you're the same the same as
- 5:56Speaker 4: my middle she's gonna be twenty five in September. But
- 5:59Speaker 4: that would you all you are developing your own you know,
- 6:03Speaker 4: you know, you are your own tracks, yea, and your
- 6:06Speaker 4: own pathway in life. Your mom is just really here
- 6:09Speaker 4: to kind of go along with you at this point,
- 6:11Speaker 4: you know. Yeh, she's been through her. You're tracked in
- 6:14Speaker 4: your life, you're doing and now you're kind of supporting
- 6:16Speaker 4: your daughter now, which is beautiful.
- 6:17Speaker 2: Yes, supporting her and actually we're living life together and
- 6:22Speaker 2: it's actually I think it's an inspiration that it's almost
- 6:25Speaker 2: like my second chance. I mean, you know, doing the
- 6:28Speaker 2: fashion shows and the runway walks and going to these
- 6:32Speaker 2: events were things I wanted to do twenty or twenty
- 6:34Speaker 2: five years ago, but you know, we're raising these kids. Yeah,
- 6:38Speaker 2: and you know, when you're raising kids, it's hard to
- 6:40Speaker 2: travel because they're in school and they're in all of
- 6:43Speaker 2: their activities and sports and dance. So it's wonderful now
- 6:47Speaker 2: that we are able to do it together. And I
- 6:50Speaker 2: wouldn't want it any other way, and I honestly I
- 6:52Speaker 2: wouldn't either.
- 6:53Speaker 5: At first, I was like, send me on a dating show,
- 6:55Speaker 5: let's go to the islands. But now I'm like, this
- 6:58Speaker 5: is amazing because my mom's little there with me twenty
- 7:01Speaker 5: four to seven. We honestly don't get sick or tired
- 7:03Speaker 5: of each other at all, and we're just doing it
- 7:05Speaker 5: all together and.
- 7:07Speaker 4: You're enjoying the experience. How Low Love You guys been
- 7:09Speaker 4: doing the show.
- 7:12Speaker 5: Not long, So this was our first season of the show.
- 7:16Speaker 5: So it honestly feels like we've been doing it in
- 7:18Speaker 5: our entire lives, because I think when you're meant to
- 7:21Speaker 5: do something, that's just how it feels. And I've always
- 7:23Speaker 5: felt like personally I was destined for more than just
- 7:25Speaker 5: a normal girl's life.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Like I didn't go to college.
- 7:28Speaker 5: I went to cosmetology school, and so like I love hairdressing,
- 7:31Speaker 5: and then during the pandemic, I found my love for
- 7:34Speaker 5: creating content on social media. So I'm an influencer content creator,
- 7:38Speaker 5: and so I love that and now the reality show,
- 7:40Speaker 5: it's all coming together and I really love it all.
- 7:43Speaker 4: Do you also do any Are you a dancer too?
- 7:45Speaker 4: Do you dance as well? I?
- 7:47Speaker 5: You know, I was a dancer when I was younger,
- 7:49Speaker 5: but not so much anymore.
- 7:51Speaker 2: But you can, I can.
- 7:53Speaker 1: You never know, but you can.
- 7:55Speaker 4: And as you started doing the you know, the en
- 7:58Speaker 4: being an influencial, because that's what happens a lot during
- 8:02Speaker 4: the pandemic is when people were on social media and
- 8:05Speaker 4: everybody's you know, content spikes and everything else. Did you
- 8:10Speaker 4: what was your path before then? Like where did you
- 8:13Speaker 4: see yourself going? Did you want to get into like
- 8:15Speaker 4: fashion or modeling or was that like something that you
- 8:19Speaker 4: were drawn to before that?
- 8:21Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean I started doing cosmetology hoping that I
- 8:24Speaker 5: would love it, and I loved it even more than
- 8:26Speaker 5: I thought I did. My backup plan was to be
- 8:28Speaker 5: a flight attendant because I love seeing the world from above,
- 8:30Speaker 5: but honestly, that would not have worked out because me
- 8:33Speaker 5: serving people honestly.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Wouldn't be flying motion sickness to come with you.
- 8:40Speaker 5: You yeah, because I love staying in nice hotels. But anyways,
- 8:46Speaker 5: it's just yeah, it all comes together, but pageant.
- 8:49Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 8:49Speaker 5: So then I started into pageantry. And my mom's a
- 8:52Speaker 5: form of Miss Connecticut ussay, so I've been following in
- 8:54Speaker 5: her footsteps.
- 8:56Speaker 4: That Connecticut US.
- 8:58Speaker 2: She was a little while ago.
- 9:05Speaker 4: It was last year.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Come on, last year, last year's ago.
- 9:08Speaker 4: There I go, that's amazing. So you so what was
- 9:12Speaker 4: your when did you line up in the in the finals,
- 9:15Speaker 4: Like when you went to Miss when MISSUS America? So
- 9:19Speaker 4: I like miss I didn't know it's Miss America, but
- 9:23Speaker 4: always MISSUS pageants.
- 9:25Speaker 2: Yeah anyway, yes, and then Miss USA would go to
- 9:28Speaker 2: Miss Universe where Miss America is a great system. I
- 9:31Speaker 2: was in that system because I was a dancer, ballet
- 9:33Speaker 2: on points, but I never could like win. It was
- 9:37Speaker 2: always first runner up, second runner up, no runner up.
- 9:41Speaker 2: But I never gave up. So after many years of trying,
- 9:45Speaker 2: I did win. I went to Miss USA. I didn't
- 9:48Speaker 2: p se place. But Connecticut isn't a big pageant state.
- 9:52Speaker 2: You usually have to you know, California, Texas the second always.
- 10:00Speaker 2: I mean I remember when.
- 10:01Speaker 4: I was some belt is always the big I think
- 10:04Speaker 4: it was.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Five years in a row, Texas one, Miss USA, Yeah,
- 10:08Speaker 2: and went to Miss Universe.
- 10:09Speaker 5: Honestly, she should have won Miss USA and ben Miss
- 10:12Speaker 5: Universe anyways, but you got it.
- 10:15Speaker 1: That's old.
- 10:16Speaker 5: So that's why I started following in her footsteps to
- 10:19Speaker 5: kind of, you know, finish what she started. But currently
- 10:23Speaker 5: I am off of the pageant circuit after a little
- 10:26Speaker 5: bit of controversy in the pageant industry.
- 10:28Speaker 1: You know, I don't know if I'm allowed to talk
- 10:30Speaker 1: about it too much.
- 10:32Speaker 4: Now you got to tell me something.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Now, Oh what do I tell you?
- 10:35Speaker 4: I was actually gonna ask you about that, but you
- 10:37Speaker 4: brought it up.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Oh god, you know, I'll just.
- 10:42Speaker 5: I'll just say that. You know, I work very hard
- 10:45Speaker 5: and I'm very serious competitor, and you know my mom
- 10:48Speaker 5: is my coach. On the show, you see a lot
- 10:50Speaker 5: of unconventional training methods. We put our all into this.
- 10:53Speaker 5: I have a gown designer in New York City. I
- 10:55Speaker 5: create my own gown and the beating is custom made
- 10:58Speaker 5: in India. Like we go in, we go to win.
- 11:02Speaker 5: And when you put so much work in and you
- 11:05Speaker 5: don't get the result, you're looking for it's hard. But
- 11:09Speaker 5: you know, if you mess up, that makes sense. But
- 11:12Speaker 5: if you don't mess up and you're just like hmm,
- 11:15Speaker 5: what was.
- 11:15Speaker 1: It, you know, that's hard.
- 11:17Speaker 5: And so this past year, not everything added up. You know,
- 11:24Speaker 5: I was on my A game and just things didn't
- 11:27Speaker 5: add up, and it was kind of an environment where
- 11:31Speaker 5: it was just a bit fishy, and so you kind
- 11:34Speaker 5: of have to look at yourself and say, I know
- 11:35Speaker 5: my worth, I know my value, and I'm not going
- 11:37Speaker 5: to go back to a place that doesn't value me
- 11:39Speaker 5: and what I bring to the table. So we are well,
- 11:41Speaker 5: I am walking away gracefully because I know that my
- 11:45Speaker 5: path is a lot bigger than the pageant industry can
- 11:47Speaker 5: even bring me.
- 11:48Speaker 2: And other pageants have reached out as well that wants
- 11:51Speaker 2: her to compete. However, I think that being on the
- 11:55Speaker 2: reality show and all of her social media platform did
- 12:01Speaker 2: play a role.
- 12:02Speaker 1: It actually hurt me.
- 12:03Speaker 2: And you would think that it would be helpful.
- 12:05Speaker 5: Because I could offer so much to the pageant industry,
- 12:08Speaker 5: so much good press.
- 12:09Speaker 2: But and that's what we wanted to do, is to
- 12:12Speaker 2: really give good publicity to the pageant system, and they,
- 12:18Speaker 2: for some reason did not want someone that was on
- 12:21Speaker 2: Reality TV. Even though I think our show was positive,
- 12:25Speaker 2: I mean, I need to plex mother daughter.
- 12:28Speaker 4: It flicks.
- 12:29Speaker 5: But there was a there was a big, big controversy
- 12:32Speaker 5: on social media for a little bit there surrounding me,
- 12:35Speaker 5: and it was crazy. But honestly, I spoke my truth
- 12:39Speaker 5: and I will always speak my truth even if no
- 12:41Speaker 5: one agrees. I know my truth, and I know what happened,
- 12:45Speaker 5: and I know what I saw and even some things
- 12:47Speaker 5: I wasn't allowed to say.
- 12:48Speaker 1: But it was crazy.
- 12:51Speaker 4: Did you did you feel like now were you aiming
- 12:55Speaker 4: to go towards trying to get like Miss Connecticut or
- 12:58Speaker 4: like roll into mischief? You would?
- 13:01Speaker 5: Yeah, so I was competing for Miss Connecticut USSA to
- 13:05Speaker 5: go be Miss Ussa. But honestly, like on the show,
- 13:09Speaker 5: you see em compete for Miss Connecticut Ussay, I get
- 13:12Speaker 5: fourth runner up, and that year I was so prepared.
- 13:14Speaker 5: I was prepared to be Miss Ussa. Last year when
- 13:17Speaker 5: I competed, I was ready to.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Be Miss Universe.
- 13:20Speaker 5: Like if you saw my gown on that stage, you
- 13:22Speaker 5: would to say, put her at Miss Universe. I could
- 13:25Speaker 5: have won Miss Universe in that gown. And I'm not
- 13:26Speaker 5: even being cocky, I am being straight up.
- 13:28Speaker 2: I'm objective when I watch. When we watch pageants together,
- 13:31Speaker 2: I can always basically pick the winner.
- 13:34Speaker 4: You never whatever, you've been in there, You've been down
- 13:37Speaker 4: this road, been in it, so you're not.
- 13:40Speaker 2: When she came out this past April, when she was
- 13:43Speaker 2: in the pageant, I mean there was no competition, and
- 13:46Speaker 2: not just because she was my daughter, yes, and they
- 13:48Speaker 2: had to get her off that stage.
- 13:50Speaker 5: Faste, like they didn't even off. There were people trying
- 13:53Speaker 5: disqualify me before I even competed, and things like that
- 13:56Speaker 5: were fishy, and so we were just like, you know what,
- 13:59Speaker 5: this is not place for us.
- 14:01Speaker 2: Unfortunately, we don't have that spirit, but a lot of
- 14:05Speaker 2: people have like a jealous spirit.
- 14:07Speaker 5: Where they don't want to see others succeed and they
- 14:09Speaker 5: don't want to see others thrive.
- 14:10Speaker 1: So that's why we just push.
- 14:11Speaker 2: Ourselves for it that you know, yes, were she was
- 14:14Speaker 2: going to follow in you know, my footsteps and be
- 14:18Speaker 2: a wonderful representation, do a lot of charity work in
- 14:21Speaker 2: the state and the USA and go to Miss Ussay.
- 14:25Speaker 2: Really like when I look at a at a contestant,
- 14:28Speaker 2: you're going to say, on the local level, is that
- 14:30Speaker 2: person ready to win? Miss u essay, is that person
- 14:33Speaker 2: ready for Miss Universe? She was ready, So you know,
- 14:37Speaker 2: I think personally in watching it, yeah, they wanted to
- 14:40Speaker 2: get her off fast, yeah and kick me out because
- 14:42Speaker 2: of the reality show and all of her success and
- 14:46Speaker 2: the social media. They didn't really want her.
- 14:49Speaker 5: But this also doesn't downplay like any of the other girls,
- 14:52Speaker 5: because like, we're only competing against ourselves. So when I say,
- 14:55Speaker 5: you know, Connecticut's a small pageants state, you know, there
- 14:58Speaker 5: wasn't really much competition. There were all only a couple
- 15:00Speaker 5: of girls competing. So right, it's not it's not like any.
- 15:05Speaker 2: Califul Texas, Texas you have hundreds of girls, you have
- 15:10Speaker 2: a handful. In Connecticut. There's there was what seventeen Wow,
- 15:14Speaker 2: and that's it.
- 15:15Speaker 1: That was old And they couldn't even put me in
- 15:17Speaker 1: a top five for all that.
- 15:19Speaker 4: I am please now right now you look like she
- 15:21Speaker 4: should be. Please no, like right now I can see
- 15:25Speaker 4: everything now. It's totally the staff, the whole thing.
- 15:28Speaker 5: Yeah, and what they don't show is like ore in
- 15:30Speaker 5: person interview, but they do film it. And so I
- 15:33Speaker 5: got it back and I was like, it's like, come on.
- 15:36Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean totally when you talk you sound like
- 15:39Speaker 4: like do you have a one? Did you ever see
- 15:41Speaker 4: the movie with with Sandra Bullock when she puts out
- 15:46Speaker 4: Stacey free Bush, Stacy Lou free Bush and when they're
- 15:50Speaker 4: all talking and they're all giving like their answers like
- 15:52Speaker 4: and that's just the parody of it. But you sound
- 15:55Speaker 4: like a person giving a beautiful answer and like just
- 16:00Speaker 4: you sound like this university ready give.
- 16:04Speaker 5: But you know that's the thing is like I do
- 16:06Speaker 5: still very much support pageantry because it is what made
- 16:10Speaker 5: me so comfortable speaking in front of so many people,
- 16:12Speaker 5: and it gave me so much confidence on stage. I mean,
- 16:14Speaker 5: I think I did go into having a lot of
- 16:15Speaker 5: confidence on stage, but you know you strutten on stage
- 16:18Speaker 5: in eight inch heels in a bikini, and you know
- 16:22Speaker 5: there's no to do that. Yeah, there's no other opportunity
- 16:25Speaker 5: like that.
- 16:25Speaker 1: So I do support.
- 16:26Speaker 4: Pageantry confidence to go on age heels in my clothes,
- 16:30Speaker 4: have confidence to do that because I'm always tripping and falling. Yeah,
- 16:33Speaker 4: I cannot walk in heels.
- 16:34Speaker 1: It's wild, It's I don't know what.
- 16:36Speaker 4: Happened my equilibriums. Well, I don't know what's going on.
- 16:38Speaker 4: But do you feel like the pageant industry has changed
- 16:41Speaker 4: over the years, you think that it's different now, Do
- 16:43Speaker 4: you feel like it's seen competition that it was or
- 16:46Speaker 4: is it worse or is there is there more? Is
- 16:49Speaker 4: there more? Like I don't know what should I say?
- 16:52Speaker 2: Uh?
- 16:53Speaker 4: More like they're going to be pandering to certain people?
- 16:57Speaker 4: Should I say?
- 16:58Speaker 1: Oh?
- 16:58Speaker 2: I think there's politics and everything. But I think that
- 17:02Speaker 2: years ago it was a more elegant event. We had the.
- 17:08Speaker 5: Marine They literally had marines and like threw the swords
- 17:13Speaker 5: and then like the girls would like go through them.
- 17:15Speaker 1: It's like so beautiful, Like they'd hold their hand.
- 17:18Speaker 2: It was beautiful. And when I was there, it was yeah,
- 17:23Speaker 2: and it was I think more of a accomplishment, where now.
- 17:29Speaker 5: Okay, yeah, if you won Miss USA in the past,
- 17:31Speaker 5: you were instantly a celebrity. But nowadays it just doesn't
- 17:35Speaker 5: have that same effect, which is sad, you know, because
- 17:38Speaker 5: I mean my mom was a Miss Connecticut USA, and
- 17:41Speaker 5: I was there following her footsteps to get that next goal.
- 17:44Speaker 5: But you know, Godly said some crazy, crazy directions and
- 17:48Speaker 5: you know, we just got to lead with that.
- 17:49Speaker 2: It's fine, and plus she has her whole life ahead
- 17:51Speaker 2: of her. Things were different than of course for anything.
- 17:55Speaker 2: But I thought it was more elegant than I thought that. Again,
- 17:59Speaker 2: the stage residence when I went, we were there for
- 18:03Speaker 2: almost three weeks. Yeah, they had a big stage. You know,
- 18:08Speaker 2: we were dancing, we were in different outfits. It was
- 18:10Speaker 2: a big to do. Where now I think the girls
- 18:13Speaker 2: are there for five days in and out by Yeah,
- 18:15Speaker 2: it's crazy.
- 18:16Speaker 4: Do they still have a hole? Do they show it
- 18:18Speaker 4: on TV like they used to? Because I have?
- 18:20Speaker 1: And that's another thing. They it's on a really not
- 18:23Speaker 1: anything that work.
- 18:25Speaker 2: Up until this point. It's I mean it's like streaming somewhere.
- 18:28Speaker 2: It's not on a good network. I forgot. I think
- 18:31Speaker 2: mine was on NBC. We did commercials, it's a big thing.
- 18:35Speaker 2: We have big sponsors. Now remember that there's no nothing.
- 18:40Speaker 2: So I think perhaps it's gone a little bit south.
- 18:43Speaker 5: Yeah, but honestly, like for us, we just we found
- 18:47Speaker 5: our love for reality TV because we can have our
- 18:49Speaker 5: big personalities and we could be bold and we can
- 18:51Speaker 5: say whatever you want. And I mean we get recognized
- 18:54Speaker 5: on the street constantly, which is so fun. And I
- 18:58Speaker 5: mean we were in Black Island yesterday and people are
- 19:00Speaker 5: literally dming me.
- 19:02Speaker 1: Are you in Black Island right now? I see you?
- 19:04Speaker 5: They're in my comment section like I literally was behind
- 19:06Speaker 5: you and it's crazy, but it's really nice and they
- 19:08Speaker 5: come up and like want to take pictures of us.
- 19:11Speaker 1: Yeah, we love it.
- 19:11Speaker 4: Do you wear the same I mean, do you wear
- 19:13Speaker 4: the same clothes every day?
- 19:14Speaker 1: We do literally every day.
- 19:17Speaker 4: It's not just and this is not just Fativa, It's
- 19:19Speaker 4: not you just wear you. I mean honestly you wear
- 19:21Speaker 4: them every day. Yes, when you go home and you'll
- 19:23Speaker 4: have a sweatsuit on, your mom is wearing the same one.
- 19:26Speaker 5: Yeah, same pjs, same everything. And it's funny because you know,
- 19:29Speaker 5: it would honestly be really inauthentic to just do it
- 19:32Speaker 5: for the show and then not do it in real life.
- 19:35Speaker 1: But it's funny.
- 19:36Speaker 5: Like one day my mom picked me up in the
- 19:38Speaker 5: salon and we were like not matching for like one.
- 19:40Speaker 1: Like literally I think we went out like maybe were
- 19:42Speaker 1: her black?
- 19:43Speaker 5: I wear like decked out black and like big platform boots, right,
- 19:46Speaker 5: and like she's working with the radio station, She's not
- 19:47Speaker 5: gonna wear it be wearing an all black sexy outfit, right.
- 19:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:51Speaker 5: So I think she picked me up one day and
- 19:53Speaker 5: we went out and we of course get spotted and
- 19:57Speaker 5: we're not matching. We're like I swear always, always, always,
- 20:02Speaker 5: but we were like, we.
- 20:03Speaker 1: Got to go home and change.
- 20:04Speaker 5: We can't be all like this because we are very
- 20:06Speaker 5: authentic and everything that we do, and you know, and
- 20:08Speaker 5: then they want pictures and we're like, great, it's all
- 20:10Speaker 5: over the internet. Now it's not matching.
- 20:12Speaker 1: But I know.
- 20:16Speaker 4: So you still work in the salon now?
- 20:18Speaker 1: I do, yes, And it's flexible.
- 20:21Speaker 2: So I mean our schedules, our work schedules are flexible,
- 20:24Speaker 2: so that that makes things nice as well.
- 20:26Speaker 5: So if we have an event, we honestly are both
- 20:29Speaker 5: we literally are the same person, like We're both so
- 20:31Speaker 5: like work driven. Like I'm still a stylist. I still
- 20:33Speaker 5: work behind the chair. I love my clients. We have
- 20:35Speaker 5: the best time just spilling the tea all day and
- 20:38Speaker 5: I make them look beautiful. But then when I'm not
- 20:39Speaker 5: at the salon, I'm creating content and then going to
- 20:42Speaker 5: events with my mom and then figuring out what show
- 20:44Speaker 5: we're doing next, So it's all it's all good.
- 20:47Speaker 4: And what do you? And what what do you? Is
- 20:49Speaker 4: your job now?
- 20:51Speaker 2: So well, I write a newspaper column. I've written it
- 20:54Speaker 2: for years. It's an inspirational column. It's been in papers
- 20:58Speaker 2: for many years, Like half my life and books. But
- 21:01Speaker 2: and you know I always I always had my career.
- 21:05Speaker 2: You know, I was home with the girls. I stayed
- 21:07Speaker 2: home for ten years to raise them, but always did
- 21:11Speaker 2: my comment books. And I also work for radio station.
- 21:14Speaker 5: So yes, she voices commercials too. Sometimes you hear on
- 21:18Speaker 5: the radio.
- 21:18Speaker 2: But I work for a radio station. So I'll go
- 21:21Speaker 2: into businesses and get the sponsors.
- 21:26Speaker 1: We're all in pr we.
- 21:27Speaker 4: Have we have a we have a nice we have
- 21:29Speaker 4: a person here that does that too. I'm gonna introduce
- 21:32Speaker 4: you to She's great.
- 21:32Speaker 2: Yes for now, but I think, you know, in the
- 21:36Speaker 2: coming months, I don't know that we'll be still in
- 21:41Speaker 2: their regular jobs. I think it's going to get to
- 21:44Speaker 2: the point sooner then later where you know, maybe we're
- 21:48Speaker 2: just doing the show and whatnot.
- 21:49Speaker 5: For we have a lot of big dreams and goals.
- 21:51Speaker 5: You know, we don't got like one hundred years here,
- 21:54Speaker 5: you know, come on.
- 21:55Speaker 4: Come on out, you still have time.
- 21:59Speaker 1: Yeah, yes, yeah, but yeah, I don't know.
- 22:02Speaker 5: Yes, you know you want to now sometimes things like
- 22:05Speaker 5: get on hold because you know this industry, like say,
- 22:08Speaker 5: you know, it's not great to have a boyfriend right now,
- 22:10Speaker 5: you know, because it's like this is the industry where
- 22:12Speaker 5: you have to be like on the move, you're on
- 22:13Speaker 5: the go.
- 22:14Speaker 1: Like you think I have time to make a man dinner.
- 22:16Speaker 4: Oh, I don't even cook.
- 22:17Speaker 1: I don't period, that's never gonna happen. Take out, but
- 22:20Speaker 1: like I don't even have time to go. I hate
- 22:22Speaker 1: the movies too. What am I saying? I'm just now.
- 22:24Speaker 4: So if you were dating somebody, what would you like
- 22:27Speaker 4: to do with them? Since you do everything with your mom?
- 22:29Speaker 1: I know my mom's gonna come to dinner, yeah.
- 22:32Speaker 4: For sure, So your mom will come on dates with.
- 22:34Speaker 1: You, you know, matching, matching.
- 22:37Speaker 5: But the only time I get to go out on
- 22:39Speaker 5: dates alone is I actually do speed dating at the
- 22:41Speaker 5: salon okay.
- 22:42Speaker 1: And it's really fun.
- 22:44Speaker 5: So I just tell the guys, I'm like, well, if
- 22:46Speaker 5: you want to spend time with me, you have to
- 22:48Speaker 5: come and pay for my time. Thirty minutes in and out,
- 22:50Speaker 5: I'll cut your hair. I'm gonna see how you look.
- 22:52Speaker 5: And all the girls are in on it. This is
- 22:54Speaker 5: our little secret. But I mean, you know how long
- 22:57Speaker 5: it takes to get ready for a date, Like if
- 22:58Speaker 5: you were gonna take me out to dinner, I'm gonna
- 23:00Speaker 5: I'm gonna get ready for an hour, then I'm gonna
- 23:02Speaker 5: be two hours on the date, just to know in
- 23:04Speaker 5: five minutes you're not even interesting and not impressive at all.
- 23:07Speaker 2: No, So I think God speeding is perfect. Especially really Wae.
- 23:10Speaker 4: Could know somebody and like the first five minutes.
- 23:13Speaker 1: You know, oh yeah for.
- 23:16Speaker 4: Sure that I do agree with. Yeah, you know, if
- 23:18Speaker 4: there's cameras red, what do you look for in a guy?
- 23:20Speaker 4: Do you look for it? Do they have to be
- 23:22Speaker 4: handsome or funny?
- 23:25Speaker 5: Definitely a little bit of both. You have to like
- 23:27Speaker 5: look good in pictures next to me, obviously, but you
- 23:29Speaker 5: have to be funny like, and you could be weird
- 23:31Speaker 5: because I'm weird. But you also have to be very ambitious,
- 23:34Speaker 5: like in your career, because like I'm building my own empires,
- 23:37Speaker 5: so I would hope that you're building your own and
- 23:39Speaker 5: very you know, very ambitious towards your own goals and
- 23:42Speaker 5: kind of independent in that. And I just think that
- 23:45Speaker 5: way we can push each other to be better, because
- 23:47Speaker 5: if you're you know, I don't know, working at the
- 23:50Speaker 5: dollar store, there's nothing wrong with that, but you know,
- 23:53Speaker 5: you have to be super ambitious to your goals the
- 23:55Speaker 5: way I could be impressed by you because I think
- 23:57Speaker 5: that's very attractive.
- 23:59Speaker 4: Definitely, Well, I have to, I think, for I think
- 24:02Speaker 4: that it's more point for somebody to entertain me, because
- 24:05Speaker 4: if I don't, somebody could be so good looking, but
- 24:07Speaker 4: if they have no personality and they're boring, for sure,
- 24:11Speaker 4: even they wouldn't get past the first five minutes.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:15Speaker 2: I also think that you are an entrepreneur, you're a
- 24:17Speaker 2: very successful woman, You're gorgeous. You need somebody that's going
- 24:21Speaker 2: to be well. It's true that ye be intimidated by that.
- 24:26Speaker 2: You have your own things going, and I don't know
- 24:28Speaker 2: that there's a lot of guys that I don't know
- 24:31Speaker 2: that I would encourage that kind.
- 24:34Speaker 4: Of Yeah, I think it's hard.
- 24:37Speaker 2: Independence.
- 24:37Speaker 4: I think it's hard. I mean, as much as we
- 24:40Speaker 4: say we're liberated as women, and you know, it's still
- 24:43Speaker 4: I hate to say, it's still a man's world. It is.
- 24:45Speaker 4: As much as they try to mask it, it's still
- 24:48Speaker 4: it is, no matter what it is. But you know
- 24:50Speaker 4: it's okay. I don't mind. I don't. I still like
- 24:53Speaker 4: my door open for me. I still don't. I still
- 24:55Speaker 4: want sure as power.
- 24:57Speaker 5: Oh for sure, where are the flowers take me out
- 25:00Speaker 5: to dinner? Like obviously you're gonna pay, I'm gonna be
- 25:03Speaker 5: the princess because you know, feminine energy we receive.
- 25:05Speaker 4: Yes, So you feel that you feel that that women
- 25:09Speaker 4: should still be put on a pedestal.
- 25:11Speaker 5: Yes, I do, and I think that, like I am
- 25:13Speaker 5: very confident in myself, so I could kind of have
- 25:15Speaker 5: that like not dominant energy, but kind of. So I think,
- 25:17Speaker 5: you know, sitting in your feminine energy and you know
- 25:20Speaker 5: the man opens the door, and you know you're taking
- 25:22Speaker 5: out to dinner and you're treated like a woman. I
- 25:24Speaker 5: think that's very important and.
- 25:25Speaker 4: I love to hear that because I think that the
- 25:28Speaker 4: new feminists of today they try to take away, are femininists.
- 25:32Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that will be a level of both.
- 25:34Speaker 1: For sure.
- 25:35Speaker 4: You know what, I don't want to be a man.
- 25:37Speaker 2: I don't know a.
- 25:38Speaker 4: Woman an awful woman, I do, yes, but I still
- 25:42Speaker 4: want to be treated like a lady. Yes, and sure
- 25:45Speaker 4: that's important for women to be treated that way. Yeah,
- 25:48Speaker 4: it is. That doesn't make us lower, No, it actually
- 25:51Speaker 4: makes us more powerful. Yes, if you think about that.
- 25:54Speaker 4: If they're doing stuff for us correct and catering to us,
- 25:57Speaker 4: that makes us more we are the exactly That's the
- 26:01Speaker 4: way I agree with that and I and I like
- 26:04Speaker 4: to hear that from from from girls of your generation
- 26:06Speaker 4: because you know, I think that it's especially now with
- 26:10Speaker 4: dating with where is it we are people dating on
- 26:13Speaker 4: the internet and social media. I feel so bad for
- 26:17Speaker 4: all of you because it is so hard these days.
- 26:21Speaker 4: It is really hard to find somebody because it's like
- 26:23Speaker 4: it's so many, so many people at your fingertips, you know,
- 26:27Speaker 4: and it's like it's it's hard. I see, I see
- 26:31Speaker 4: it's hard. It's not. It's not the way it used
- 26:33Speaker 4: to be. What would be the only way we can
- 26:35Speaker 4: go out and meet somebody either you know them you grow.
- 26:37Speaker 6: Up, or you go to a bar or a club
- 26:41Speaker 6: and they got to come to the house, right, I'm
- 26:44Speaker 6: just saying it, honestly, you have to pick you up
- 26:46Speaker 6: like you have to meet the parents.
- 26:48Speaker 2: I mean there's there would be no I would have been.
- 26:51Speaker 5: You know what we should do is we should have like,
- 26:53Speaker 5: you should just arrange me a man, because mom, she
- 26:57Speaker 5: can she will find a good one. She'll be like,
- 26:59Speaker 5: she'll look at and if he even like bread's wrong,
- 27:01Speaker 5: She's like, eh, no, Well I.
- 27:03Speaker 2: Think look it it's a big, long story, but I
- 27:06Speaker 2: think you know, you have to look at the family,
- 27:08Speaker 2: look at how they were raised, look at who they
- 27:11Speaker 2: come from. And I think you also have to know
- 27:13Speaker 2: someone for a very long time. Yes, but you know
- 27:16Speaker 2: we have plenty of time. Like that's why we're really
- 27:19Speaker 2: just focusing on the career doing anything together.
- 27:22Speaker 4: But I wouldn't happen to It's gonna happen.
- 27:24Speaker 2: Yeah, and one day when she does meet someone, if
- 27:27Speaker 2: she does, we'll just he'll just be in the middle
- 27:30Speaker 2: of us.
- 27:33Speaker 4: He's gonna like that.
- 27:35Speaker 2: He's gonna have to be He's gonna have to love
- 27:37Speaker 2: the mama.
- 27:38Speaker 1: It's true.
- 27:39Speaker 4: Yeah, it's true, the mama, Mama bear is.
- 27:43Speaker 5: He needs a great relationship with you. If he's gonna
- 27:45Speaker 5: have a great relationship with me, for sure.
- 27:48Speaker 4: It's important. No, it's true.
- 27:50Speaker 2: She had a boyfriend. He had a very good relationship
- 27:52Speaker 2: with the family. He was over I mean he was.
- 27:55Speaker 5: But like, my next man has to like know that
- 27:57Speaker 5: my mom and I are going to spend a lot
- 27:58Speaker 5: of time together and totally be a okay with that
- 28:00Speaker 5: because this is our career.
- 28:01Speaker 4: Right and it's well, you know what, you you're gonna
- 28:05Speaker 4: somebody is gonna is gonna love Who's gonna love you?
- 28:07Speaker 4: Is gonna love you for everything and understand what you're
- 28:09Speaker 4: doing right.
- 28:10Speaker 2: And Will's has your back more than if you have
- 28:15Speaker 2: a good mother.
- 28:16Speaker 1: You know what I'm just saying.
- 28:17Speaker 2: It is like, you know, I'll have your back, I'll
- 28:20Speaker 2: have your back. I have my girls back, you know,
- 28:23Speaker 2: my friends back. But there's not that many people like that.
- 28:26Speaker 2: A lot of people will more like stab you in
- 28:28Speaker 2: the back instead of have your back. If you have
- 28:32Speaker 2: one or two friends that you can call and really
- 28:34Speaker 2: rely on and through thick and thin. And I feel
- 28:37Speaker 2: like I'm that for her and my girls and you know,
- 28:40Speaker 2: my you know, my close buddies, because that's very important
- 28:45Speaker 2: to be able to go through life, to know that
- 28:47Speaker 2: you don't have to worry that you're gonna be safe.
- 28:51Speaker 4: No, it's true, and you feel like I mean, I
- 28:53Speaker 4: know that I feel like this. I mean with my girls,
- 28:55Speaker 4: I feel like that's there. They have become my like
- 28:59Speaker 4: little MC say, army, but my little there, my there
- 29:02Speaker 4: might they've become my friends. And I'm glad that I
- 29:06Speaker 4: have that closeness with them, you know. And I have
- 29:08Speaker 4: a few handfuls of exactly. But my grandma always said
- 29:11Speaker 4: if you could count on your hands, realizing that you
- 29:14Speaker 4: had that many friends because they yourself. Oh.
- 29:16Speaker 2: I just said that same quote to you.
- 29:18Speaker 1: It's true.
- 29:19Speaker 4: It's very it's very true. When when you get older,
- 29:21Speaker 4: it's a lot easier to let people go out of
- 29:23Speaker 4: your life. Oh yeah, well all right, no one't take care,
- 29:28Speaker 4: don't call us, We'll call you. Yeah, take it. No,
- 29:30Speaker 4: it's true. Yeah, it's and if you learn that at
- 29:33Speaker 4: a younger age, it's a lot easier because you become
- 29:36Speaker 4: when you're so emotionally invested into somebody that's not good
- 29:39Speaker 4: for you, even friends.
- 29:41Speaker 1: Oh yeah, no, it's hard.
- 29:43Speaker 2: We found out, like with the show Like People.
- 29:45Speaker 1: That people turn on you once you get on a TV.
- 29:48Speaker 1: I'll tell you, like we continue.
- 29:50Speaker 2: We thought it was a blessing.
- 29:51Speaker 4: You know.
- 29:52Speaker 2: No one saw the twenty five years of rejection that
- 29:55Speaker 2: I had and kept standing up. Yeah, no one saw
- 29:58Speaker 2: the tragedies that I I have been through.
- 30:01Speaker 4: You know what I kept standing. They don't care. That's
- 30:04Speaker 4: what the sick. They only care what they see now.
- 30:06Speaker 4: They don't care what you went through to get there.
- 30:08Speaker 4: They don't exactly, they don't care. And once you realize that,
- 30:12Speaker 4: that's how you know who the people should you should be.
- 30:14Speaker 5: And I've been doing social media for four years and
- 30:16Speaker 5: we've had such positive comments, Like my comment section has
- 30:20Speaker 5: been like people hype me up right, And then we
- 30:23Speaker 5: got on the show and we and you know, we've
- 30:25Speaker 5: always done mother daughter content and everyone loved it and
- 30:28Speaker 5: like maybe if you love.
- 30:31Speaker 2: Her up we've started because and I don't have We
- 30:33Speaker 2: did these like transitions use the phone, yeah no, it
- 30:37Speaker 2: to me and said, okay, mom, do this.
- 30:39Speaker 5: I produced the tiktoks, like the first one that went
- 30:41Speaker 5: mega viral. We were sitting in a chair and I
- 30:43Speaker 5: threw the shoe and the leg went up and then
- 30:46Speaker 5: she caught the shoe in her foot and the transition
- 30:49Speaker 5: went and then it was fabulous.
- 30:51Speaker 1: When mega viral people ate it up. They loved it.
- 30:54Speaker 1: Oh my god. We kept doing more. So yeah, we
- 30:58Speaker 1: got on the show.
- 30:59Speaker 2: We get on the show, people are like rip you
- 31:03Speaker 2: apart online and it's crazy, yeah, crazy, like ripping me off,
- 31:09Speaker 2: like terrible things like why I'm close to my daughter?
- 31:12Speaker 2: So what We always mashed my girls from the time
- 31:15Speaker 2: they were born.
- 31:17Speaker 5: All Sometimes it's funny like now you can like kind
- 31:19Speaker 5: of laugh at it, but.
- 31:21Speaker 4: Would you have to take it where it's coming from
- 31:23Speaker 4: you understand. You know this is a lot. Yeah, not
- 31:28Speaker 4: everybody is gonna be in your corner. I mean, I
- 31:32Speaker 4: had somebody fight with me on my Instagram the other
- 31:34Speaker 4: day about because I because I'm doctor Jen, You're not
- 31:38Speaker 4: a real doctor. You're not a medical doctor. I oh, okay,
- 31:41Speaker 4: I know that, but I'm I have a PhD and
- 31:44Speaker 4: that's my title, so I'm gonna call gonna use it doctor. Yeah,
- 31:48Speaker 4: I said, I never said I was a medical doctor.
- 31:50Speaker 4: I am a nurse practitioner a d NP. But I
- 31:54Speaker 4: went to more schooling than the same amount. Yes, I
- 31:57Speaker 4: have a doctor titled. You know what a PhD?
- 32:00Speaker 5: You know what?
- 32:00Speaker 4: A doctor? Why? Then my daughter times it because she's
- 32:05Speaker 4: seen it and she's annoyed. Now you know what, why
- 32:09Speaker 4: am I even bothering? I said, you know what, obviously
- 32:11Speaker 4: you're not educated enough to even know what a doctoral
- 32:13Speaker 4: degree is. Why don't you look it up before you
- 32:15Speaker 4: come and say something on my baby?
- 32:16Speaker 1: Exactly?
- 32:17Speaker 4: And it was literally because they I was because I
- 32:20Speaker 4: had tagged the video with somebody else that they don't like.
- 32:23Speaker 4: Now they're attacking me, Well, are you kidding me? They
- 32:26Speaker 4: have nothing better? Media is crazy about my my educational.
- 32:31Speaker 1: And your title, Like, what does that have to do
- 32:34Speaker 1: with her?
- 32:34Speaker 4: Right? What does that have to do with me?
- 32:36Speaker 2: Like?
- 32:36Speaker 4: Oh well whatever. But this is what I'm saying is
- 32:39Speaker 4: that you don't even realize that people will hate you.
- 32:41Speaker 4: You don't even know that they hate you or the
- 32:43Speaker 4: jealous of you, and they just are and they don't care.
- 32:46Speaker 4: Like I said, they don't care how you got there,
- 32:47Speaker 4: they don't care what you did. No, they don't care
- 32:50Speaker 4: of you.
- 32:50Speaker 1: I We're not hurt and nobody.
- 32:52Speaker 5: We just having some fun, create cool, crazy content that
- 32:55Speaker 5: you know, turns heads and we have fun with it.
- 32:57Speaker 1: We love is so like why not?
- 32:59Speaker 4: And you gotta keep doing it, keep doing it for yourself,
- 33:02Speaker 4: to screw the people that you can say something because
- 33:04Speaker 4: that's the way I am. Now, I'm like, you know
- 33:06Speaker 4: what exactly, I'm never gonna make everybody happy, Yeah, never, never.
- 33:11Speaker 4: I'm not everybody's gonna like me. Not everybody's gonna You know,
- 33:13Speaker 4: when I used to listen, when I first started my business,
- 33:16Speaker 4: if I got a bid Yelp review, I would go
- 33:17Speaker 4: home at night and cry.
- 33:19Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 33:21Speaker 4: Course, but then I would sit and now my my
- 33:23Speaker 4: and my my husband was saying with gent, but you
- 33:25Speaker 4: have a thousand great reviews, you're gonna get upset over
- 33:29Speaker 4: one idiot. Course, And now it's in perspective now that like,
- 33:32Speaker 4: you know, because I do on multiple businesses, and now
- 33:35Speaker 4: I see the I usually look at the person what
- 33:37Speaker 4: they review about somebody else, and then I'm like, they
- 33:39Speaker 4: don't give anybody nice to a review because that person
- 33:42Speaker 4: is a miserable person. So now I don't let that
- 33:45Speaker 4: bother me anymore because I'm like, you know, obviously I
- 33:47Speaker 4: just can't make everybody happy, and it's okay.
- 33:49Speaker 5: You go to want to bring you down because you're successful.
- 33:51Speaker 4: Exactly, Well they're not happy because I look at it
- 33:54Speaker 4: that way that they're not a happy person.
- 33:55Speaker 2: Hurting people hurt others, right, hurt people, hurt people.
- 33:59Speaker 1: Yeah, but like we're not gonna stop.
- 34:01Speaker 5: I mean we one of the best parts about it
- 34:03Speaker 5: is we get matching dresses sent to us, and you know,
- 34:06Speaker 5: the brands love it because we hit those two generations,
- 34:08Speaker 5: you know, I, you know younger. I drive a pink
- 34:11Speaker 5: Cheep actually, so the like really young kids will actually
- 34:14Speaker 5: come into the salon and be.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Like, where's the pink cheep? Is the pink Cheep girl here?
- 34:17Speaker 5: So I target like very young kids to like teens
- 34:20Speaker 5: to twenties, and then my mom's got the thirty and up,
- 34:23Speaker 5: so we really hit all those gen.
- 34:24Speaker 2: All the what is it generations?
- 34:27Speaker 4: Generations?
- 34:29Speaker 1: Big word, big word, It's true.
- 34:33Speaker 4: Do you where do you see you going from here?
- 34:36Speaker 4: Besides being on the show, what is your Yeah, what
- 34:39Speaker 4: is your next step? You think, well, what do you
- 34:40Speaker 4: see in the future? Let's do five y point?
- 34:44Speaker 1: Okay, I'm both of you right now.
- 34:48Speaker 5: I feel like we're living the dream and it's like
- 34:50Speaker 5: I said, feels like we've been doing it forever. So
- 34:52Speaker 5: continuing on reality TV, I definitely want to go on
- 34:55Speaker 5: like some game shows. I think we'd be great as
- 34:57Speaker 5: like a duo appearance on game shows. I want to
- 35:00Speaker 5: continue modeling like we walk in New York Fashion Week,
- 35:03Speaker 5: Miami Swim Week, and then I want to do print
- 35:05Speaker 5: modeling for like campaigns, like in a store, like imagine
- 35:08Speaker 5: going into Alta and then just like seeing your campaign,
- 35:10Speaker 5: so some print work will be really fun. And then
- 35:13Speaker 5: continuing to just build on social media, do really big
- 35:15Speaker 5: brand deals, and continue at the salon because I love
- 35:19Speaker 5: it and I love working with different people, and then
- 35:22Speaker 5: just continue to go to events and meet different people.
- 35:26Speaker 4: And that's how we met exactly.
- 35:28Speaker 5: And I know, like do podcast things like this, It's
- 35:31Speaker 5: so fun, Like I love all the opportunities.
- 35:33Speaker 4: What about you?
- 35:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I think that we're very goal oriented.
- 35:39Speaker 1: Yes, we literally have a dream board.
- 35:40Speaker 2: We have a mother daughter dream board.
- 35:43Speaker 4: I love that. I'd love to see that one.
- 35:44Speaker 2: Yeah, and you should actually make one with your girl.
- 35:46Speaker 2: So you know, we get the board. We cut out
- 35:48Speaker 2: pictures of our dreams. We write them down. Sometimes we'll
- 35:52Speaker 2: put dates. So I think the top three would be
- 35:56Speaker 2: to continue on with our reality TV collectively. And then
- 36:02Speaker 2: can I say that word spin off.
- 36:06Speaker 5: I don't like to put things out there until they're there,
- 36:08Speaker 5: you know, But I mean, but it's true.
- 36:11Speaker 1: We would love to have a spin off one day.
- 36:12Speaker 2: Yes, so we would like that in the in the
- 36:15Speaker 2: near future. And again, continue to meet people, to network
- 36:23Speaker 2: and just to be together is the most important thing.
- 36:26Speaker 2: And to live a healthy lifestyle. You know, people know me,
- 36:29Speaker 2: they know I love my Celery juice every morning.
- 36:32Speaker 1: Yes, I don't work out a lot. I work out.
- 36:37Speaker 2: I live you know, very healthy lifestyle.
- 36:41Speaker 4: You don't drink.
- 36:43Speaker 2: I've never drank anything, I've never smoked anything. I've never
- 36:47Speaker 2: done any drugs. I barely have an advil, but I've
- 36:52Speaker 2: never had a drink.
- 36:53Speaker 4: Wow, well you know what it shows, because you are
- 36:59Speaker 4: you look like you're twenty five years old, you know you. Yeah,
- 37:03Speaker 4: I can't believe I look the way I do with them.
- 37:05Speaker 1: You're driving, You're driving girls. I love it.
- 37:08Speaker 4: I love a fun life. And that's why. And when
- 37:09Speaker 4: you asked me about cats and pudding, that's where I
- 37:12Speaker 4: came to the epiphany where I went from going out
- 37:16Speaker 4: to parties every night and going away and doing all
- 37:19Speaker 4: these fun things and I'm like hero Now I'm home
- 37:21Speaker 4: in my house, eating cats, eating cats, eating cats, eating
- 37:25Speaker 4: putting and stroking my cat. Yeah, but I still go to.
- 37:28Speaker 1: Somebody still, Okay, it's a balance.
- 37:30Speaker 4: It is a balance.
- 37:31Speaker 2: I think that like life is very difficult at times,
- 37:34Speaker 2: and I think my personality would be when you have
- 37:37Speaker 2: a set back or a challenge or something happens, I
- 37:42Speaker 2: probably would be an alcoholic. I would. I would. It's crazy,
- 37:46Speaker 2: it's be keep to I'm kind of an all or nothing,
- 37:50Speaker 2: kind of scorpio girl, all or knock orpio. So I
- 37:55Speaker 2: think that was the reason. And I just always wanted
- 37:57Speaker 2: to be in like my right mind. And again, like
- 38:00Speaker 2: I lost my mom at a young age, so I
- 38:02Speaker 2: had to kind of grow up very fast and you know,
- 38:05Speaker 2: take care of myself. So yeah, there's nothing wrong if
- 38:10Speaker 2: people want a social drink or whatever, but for.
- 38:12Speaker 4: Me, it's just not it's yeah, me neither. I'm not
- 38:15Speaker 4: a I don't. First of all, I just I don't
- 38:18Speaker 4: like to taste of alcohol, so almost I'm done with it.
- 38:21Speaker 4: I just can't. I don't like the way it tastes anymore.
- 38:23Speaker 4: So no, I didn't. We didn't. I did enough drinking
- 38:26Speaker 4: in my life.
- 38:27Speaker 1: Now we go with the cats and the pudding. Now
- 38:29Speaker 1: I like, no, it.
- 38:31Speaker 4: Is I just can't. I don't have time to like
- 38:33Speaker 4: software a hangover because now.
- 38:35Speaker 1: When I don't have anything, you're a business woman.
- 38:39Speaker 4: Even if I have wanted to drink the next And another.
- 38:43Speaker 2: Thing I think that for the future is we love animals.
- 38:47Speaker 2: We're very philanthropic. I love to be able to give back.
- 38:51Speaker 2: So whatever that we do in the future, I do
- 38:54Speaker 2: animal rescue.
- 38:55Speaker 5: And we all like we have six shuahas we are,
- 38:58Speaker 5: we have chickens in the back, we got rabbits, like
- 39:01Speaker 5: we got a whole farm at our house.
- 39:03Speaker 2: Like with the radios we live in Connecticut, so I
- 39:07Speaker 2: do at least two rescues a month, you know, pet
- 39:12Speaker 2: animal adoption events like different locations. So I would continue
- 39:16Speaker 2: to want to work with my animal rescues, maybe even
- 39:18Speaker 2: start our own one day, starting with animal I really like,
- 39:23Speaker 2: you know, I like to give back. You know, we're
- 39:25Speaker 2: doing a fashion show actually at Yankee Stadium right before
- 39:29Speaker 2: the game during New York Fashion Week, and it's another
- 39:31Speaker 2: kind of charity. So anything that's that's charity related that,
- 39:38Speaker 2: you know, we could make a difference. But I also
- 39:40Speaker 2: think you can make a difference right in your own community.
- 39:43Speaker 2: You can make a difference with just you know, being
- 39:46Speaker 2: nice to someone. You know, what's the what's you're saying?
- 39:49Speaker 2: You know, I think my mother said, you know, always
- 39:52Speaker 2: imagine that somebody has on their forehead, you know, be
- 39:55Speaker 2: kind or you know, be nice to everyone, or give
- 39:59Speaker 2: me a compliment. I mean that costs nothing to just
- 40:02Speaker 2: be kind to someone.
- 40:03Speaker 4: That's so true, right, just just like pretty nice?
- 40:06Speaker 5: What it?
- 40:08Speaker 1: Yeah? Make people smile?
- 40:10Speaker 5: I mean, like so, I like I said, I drive
- 40:12Speaker 5: a pink jeep, and literally every single time we're in
- 40:14Speaker 5: this jeep, if we like ever gaze over, people are
- 40:17Speaker 5: smiling and it just like it makes people's.
- 40:19Speaker 4: Days because they see you in jeep.
- 40:21Speaker 1: Yeah, it just it makes people smile.
- 40:24Speaker 2: And you have pink cheeps for your girls when they
- 40:25Speaker 2: were growing. I did, yes, yes, so the girls had
- 40:30Speaker 2: it and so she just.
- 40:31Speaker 5: Kind of and now I have a real pink jeep
- 40:34Speaker 5: and it's actually sparkly, which we love.
- 40:37Speaker 1: And then you had a custom painted Yeah, so it's
- 40:39Speaker 1: custom wrapped. They wrap them, so they wrap it.
- 40:42Speaker 5: I actually went in and I had I helped him,
- 40:44Speaker 5: so I saw the process. I was like, can I
- 40:46Speaker 5: do it? He was like, squeeze it on. So that
- 40:49Speaker 5: was fun made and then yes, and then on the show,
- 40:53Speaker 5: we also painted my front door pink, which my dad
- 40:56Speaker 5: allowed me to do.
- 40:57Speaker 4: So what does that say about all of this?
- 40:59Speaker 5: Yeah, Dad goes along with it. Dad especially likes the
- 41:02Speaker 5: pink jeep. He's a big fan like we. He just
- 41:05Speaker 5: ordered me new door hinges that are white. He's like,
- 41:07Speaker 5: let's deck it out some more.
- 41:08Speaker 4: I'm like, let's do it because it's a car.
- 41:11Speaker 5: So yeah, Next I want to paint the garage doors pink.
- 41:16Speaker 5: We have three big white garage doors, and like the
- 41:19Speaker 5: house is white, so that'll go gray.
- 41:21Speaker 1: I just paint the mailbox pink. My dad's like, and.
- 41:25Speaker 5: He was okay with that. I mean, I don't know
- 41:26Speaker 5: about the garage doors. It's a big project. We got
- 41:29Speaker 5: to work on that.
- 41:30Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, I don't know.
- 41:31Speaker 5: We're gonna might need like a whole roller or something.
- 41:33Speaker 5: But we have a very specific shade of pink. I
- 41:35Speaker 5: don't like light pink. The hot pink's too much. It's
- 41:38Speaker 5: a very Barbie pink pink. Yeah, like it's fabulous. Maybe
- 41:42Speaker 5: we'll paint the maybe we'll paint the pillars pink. Maybe
- 41:44Speaker 5: we'll just paint the whole house pink. Who knows, we
- 41:47Speaker 5: might just go crazy.
- 41:48Speaker 4: Whole house pink. Right, you should? I should. You should
- 41:51Speaker 4: totally do that.
- 41:51Speaker 1: Where are we doing the inside of the house right now?
- 41:53Speaker 5: We're getting like redoing the hardwood floors, and I'm just like,
- 41:56Speaker 5: we need pink couches, pink accents everywhere because it's like
- 41:59Speaker 5: right now, it's giving, like modern farmhouse, and it's like.
- 42:02Speaker 1: We're not farm girls.
- 42:03Speaker 5: We live in Connecticut. We need to be giving like
- 42:06Speaker 5: Brunette Barbie.
- 42:07Speaker 4: Yeah, I think that you could totally pull that off.
- 42:10Speaker 4: I love that, And you should do white and pink exactly.
- 42:13Speaker 4: I would totally. Your room is all set up like that.
- 42:16Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, glitter, Why you.
- 42:18Speaker 4: Gotta send me pictures? I want to. I totally want
- 42:21Speaker 4: to and.
- 42:21Speaker 1: All my shoes on the walls. Yeah, she gotta be
- 42:23Speaker 1: great taste.
- 42:24Speaker 2: I mean she has great taste.
- 42:25Speaker 4: So whatever you both do, So whatever we can, beautiful
- 42:30Speaker 4: womenst we will. Just I want to come to see
- 42:34Speaker 4: the house when it's you gotta come over, and time
- 42:37Speaker 4: you gotta come to my house to pull.
- 42:38Speaker 5: Off I mean, I mean, imagine a man pulling up
- 42:41Speaker 5: to a pink house with the pink cheep.
- 42:42Speaker 1: If I get a.
- 42:44Speaker 4: Man, what did I get myself?
- 42:45Speaker 5: If I get a man, you're gonna have to meet
- 42:47Speaker 5: him and interview him and be like, wow, you really
- 42:49Speaker 5: signed up for this.
- 42:50Speaker 4: I want to be the first one I have.
- 42:54Speaker 1: You got it?
- 42:54Speaker 4: The one? I want to be the one. I definitely.
- 42:57Speaker 4: Oh my god, this was so much fun.
- 43:00Speaker 2: You great.
- 43:00Speaker 4: I could talk to you, I know, but you have
- 43:03Speaker 4: to come back. I want to see how the progression
- 43:06Speaker 4: should come back in a few months and we could
- 43:07Speaker 4: talk more about how the show's going. Yes, what's your
- 43:11Speaker 4: next how your next adventures? Adventures have have come to pass?
- 43:16Speaker 4: I love to hear about it all and let everybody
- 43:19Speaker 4: know where to find you. And you know your your
- 43:22Speaker 4: handles on social media, go ahead, girl.
- 43:24Speaker 5: So my Instagram is Gabriella Underscore Underscore Vigurito, and my
- 43:28Speaker 5: TikTok is Gabriella Underscore Vigurito, and then my Snapchat is
- 43:32Speaker 5: it's actually lgv GeV because my older sister and I
- 43:36Speaker 5: used to share a Snapchat account on my iPod when
- 43:39Speaker 5: I was younger, so it's her initials and mine put together.
- 43:42Speaker 5: So I just kept it. So I'm now starting on Snapchat,
- 43:44Speaker 5: which is fun.
- 43:46Speaker 2: And I'm on Instagram at Catherine Galasso Vigorito so and
- 43:53Speaker 2: I'm on her tiktoks all the time.
- 43:55Speaker 5: Yes, people request Mom to get her own TikTok, but
- 43:59Speaker 5: she's like, I'll just be on your you know what.
- 44:01Speaker 4: It's a lot of talk. TikTok is a lot of work.
- 44:04Speaker 4: It is.
- 44:05Speaker 2: It's want it.
- 44:06Speaker 4: I'm on it. But you know, I really focus on
- 44:09Speaker 4: my social media, like on my Instagram. But and I'm
- 44:12Speaker 4: trying and YouTube of course because of this. But it's
- 44:16Speaker 4: but yeah, the TikTok is going. I put some funny
- 44:18Speaker 4: stuff on TikTok. I saw it. It's Okay, I mean
- 44:22Speaker 4: is another job. It's a job, for sure, it's a job.
- 44:25Speaker 2: But I need help.
- 44:27Speaker 1: Oh, I got you.
- 44:28Speaker 2: She can help you. She's fabulous at it all.
- 44:31Speaker 4: Yes, I got to ask you for some more points,
- 44:33Speaker 4: is well?
- 44:33Speaker 1: Got you.
- 44:34Speaker 4: I'm so happy you both came.
- 44:35Speaker 1: I love you.
- 44:37Speaker 4: And then my new buddies, my new friends. Absolutely so
- 44:41Speaker 4: I'm welcome everybody, and thank you for coming to another
- 44:44Speaker 4: episode of Cats and Pudding. And I want to thank
