- 0:51Speaker 3: Kelsey sing?
- 0:53Speaker 1: Of course you do.
- 0:53Speaker 3: Every year. Jason Kelsey puts out a Christmas album and
- 0:56Speaker 3: he just shared a little sample of a brand new
- 0:58Speaker 3: song he did with his brother Travis and I don't
- 1:00Speaker 3: know if Travis has been like getting some you know,
- 1:02Speaker 3: vocal lessons with his girlfriend Taylor Swift out there. But
- 1:05Speaker 3: it's truly not bad. Like it's better than you would imagine.
- 1:08Speaker 3: This first voice you're gonna hear this is Travis. Jason
- 1:11Speaker 3: will come in later with the chorus.
- 1:12Speaker 4: But here we go, wander in the streets of my hometown.
- 1:20Speaker 4: Must have been years since I've been home.
- 1:25Speaker 1: See it's not terrible. Kind of sounds like John Legend here.
- 1:36Speaker 3: See that's Jaysy go. It could be that bad, you know,
- 1:39Speaker 3: but he's better.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Travis is better than I don't know how bad it
- 1:42Speaker 1: could be.
- 1:42Speaker 3: The song is called It's Christmas in Cleveland, I says.
- 1:44Speaker 3: He was saying the album's coming out next month and
- 1:46Speaker 3: all proceeds will go to charity. And lastly, in Halloween news,
- 1:51Speaker 3: more appropriate for the day than the Christmas story, we
- 1:53Speaker 3: just diaid. This one is for the people that enjoy

- 3:42Speaker 1: have a costume?
- 3:43Speaker 5: No, I'm not dressing up, Jennifer.
- 3:46Speaker 1: You're gonna let your nime nephew down like that.
- 3:50Speaker 3: I know you can go as the lady that carries
- 3:53Speaker 3: umbrellas because you guys are gonna need them.
- 3:55Speaker 6: Don't dress up as a nurse.
- 3:57Speaker 3: No, perfect, Yeah, got the outfit.
- 4:00Speaker 6: Well.
- 4:00Speaker 3: Hey, thank you so much for waking up with us,
- 4:02Speaker 3: setting your alarm to wake up today. Congratulations on winning
- 4:05Speaker 3: these tickets.

- 4:06Speaker 3: I have a great Halloween. Jennifer hang out. Okay, okay,
- 4:09Speaker 3: more tomorrow, same time, last chance of the week to
- 4:12Speaker 3: get them, same time tomorrow, right here on the river. Hey,
- 4:15Speaker 3: we know you've got options.
- 4:17Speaker 2: I mean most of them don't like live in Nashville,
- 4:19Speaker 2: but still, yeah, you got options, so thank you for
- 4:22Speaker 2: choosing us.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning on the River.
- 4:27Speaker 3: Zach, have you noticed something off about me today? My
- 4:29Speaker 3: Halloween started terribly.
- 4:32Speaker 1: I mean the fact that you're wearing a really interesting
- 4:34Speaker 1: Halloween shirt, that's about it is interesting a compliment. I
- 4:37Speaker 1: love that shirt. It is interesting. No, I'm in pain
- 4:40Speaker 1: right now, oh, mentally.
- 4:42Speaker 3: Or physically physically. So give me a minute, give me
- 4:45Speaker 3: six minutes. I will explain what's wrong with me. But
- 4:48Speaker 3: it's not good.
- 4:49Speaker 2: Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning on the River.
- 4:54Speaker 6: No.
- 4:54Speaker 3: Seven five the River. Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning.
- 4:56Speaker 3: Ricky's out today, She's taken a couple of days. Happy
- 5:00Speaker 3: Halloween friends, Kevin and Zach hanging with you and I
- 5:02Speaker 3: mentioned a moment ago my day my Halloween started.
- 5:05Speaker 6: A little rough.
- 5:06Speaker 1: But Kevin, you said you're in pain and you look fine.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 5:10Speaker 3: So I'm hiding it away?
- 5:11Speaker 1: Are you being dramatic? Probably? Okay.
- 5:14Speaker 3: I got so much soap in my eye in the
- 5:17Speaker 3: shower this morning, Kevin.
- 5:18Speaker 1: It is killing me.
- 5:21Speaker 3: Like, what's why I was running late to leave my
- 5:23Speaker 3: house and get here this morning?
- 5:24Speaker 1: Like shampoo face, choap face, soap? What kind of soap?
- 5:28Speaker 1: It's just a bar of soap.
- 5:29Speaker 3: I was. It was a new bar, and I was
- 5:30Speaker 3: lathering it up, and I just in real time I
- 5:32Speaker 3: saw this big glob just coming straight from me.
- 5:34Speaker 1: There's nothing I could do about it. In my eye.
- 5:36Speaker 1: I was down for the count. Man.
- 5:38Speaker 3: I tried to put my context in burning like you
- 5:40Speaker 3: wouldn't believe. I took that contact out. I let it
- 5:42Speaker 3: sit for a while, try to it's just a disaster.
- 5:44Speaker 3: I had to get a new pair out. Still really
- 5:46Speaker 3: struggling over here.
- 5:47Speaker 1: You're doing such a good job at hiding it because
- 5:49Speaker 1: I would have never guessed. I like, after you said
- 5:52Speaker 1: that you were in pain. I got up and looked
- 5:53Speaker 1: at Kevin to make sure he wasn't wearing like a
- 5:55Speaker 1: boot or something like I thought he twisted his ankle
- 5:58Speaker 1: or like something insane. But poor Kevin gets soap in
- 6:01Speaker 1: his eye and it's the end. Of the world.
- 6:03Speaker 3: If anybody has any tips or tricks to, you know,
- 6:05Speaker 3: help relieve this uncomfortable feeling. My God and I will
- 6:09Speaker 3: accept any thoughts and prayers that you're willing to send
- 6:11Speaker 3: in bad I cannot because this was a rough start
- 6:13Speaker 3: to one of my favorite days of the year.
- 6:14Speaker 1: It's your favorite dy of the year. What are you
- 6:16Speaker 1: doing for Halloween?
- 6:17Speaker 3: We're going trick or treating with the kids. I mean,
- 6:19Speaker 3: I wish I could stay home and pass out candy
- 6:20Speaker 3: to the kids, but my kids are eight and six,
- 6:22Speaker 3: so you know this is prime trick or treating age.
- 6:24Speaker 1: What are their costumes.
- 6:26Speaker 3: We're doing a Harry Potter theme this year. Cew Well,
- 6:28Speaker 3: we were Harry Potter, but then my son also fell
- 6:31Speaker 3: in love with this banana costume. So now he's half
- 6:33Speaker 3: Harry Potter, half banana. He's a hairy bananas as he says. Uh,
- 6:37Speaker 3: So that's what we're doing. We'll be out tonight, hopefully
- 6:39Speaker 3: trick or treating early before the rain comes.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Today.
- 6:41Speaker 3: We're supposed to get more rain than we've seen it
- 6:43Speaker 3: over a month.
- 6:44Speaker 1: That's terrible timing, so awful timing.
- 6:47Speaker 3: If you are trick or treating, try to get out
- 6:49Speaker 3: there and do it a little bit earlier because hopefully
- 6:50Speaker 3: the rain comes a bit later. And Zach, we discussed
- 6:52Speaker 3: this yesterday. You have no plans today.
- 6:54Speaker 1: I'm sitting on the couch and watching like maybe a
- 6:57Speaker 1: Halloween movie and ordering Thai food. That is my goal.
- 7:00Speaker 1: And I'm going to turn off all of my lights
- 7:02Speaker 1: and hide from everyone and act like I'm not home.
- 7:05Speaker 3: I told you yesterday I might get you some candy
- 7:07Speaker 3: that you could pass out.
- 7:08Speaker 1: No, you did not say might.
- 7:09Speaker 3: You said you would, And I went and I bought
- 7:11Speaker 3: candy for the Mano family, for our family. But man,
- 7:15Speaker 3: it's expensive, so I didn't get you anyhow.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Really interesting, Kevin. I'm looking around the studio. I don't
- 7:19Speaker 1: see any candy that you brought me, even though you promised.
- 7:21Speaker 3: Well, Happy Halloween, buddy, Happy Halloween.
- 7:24Speaker 2: Three days you need to know.
- 7:26Speaker 3: Okay, just after seven o'clock on this Thursday morning, Happy Halloween.
- 7:30Speaker 3: No Ricky Sanchez. Today, it's Kevin man O and Zach
- 7:32Speaker 3: hanging with you. Thank you for starting your day with us.
- 7:35Speaker 3: I'll be do have those justin Timberlake tickets coming up.
- 7:36Speaker 3: It's seven forty five. Don't forget about those. But first
- 7:39Speaker 3: three things you need to know here. In Tennessee, today
- 7:42Speaker 3: is the last day of early voting. According to the
- 7:45Speaker 3: Secretary of State, more than one point six to seven
- 7:47Speaker 3: million voters have cast their ballot in person. Voting in
- 7:50Speaker 3: Tennessee has been higher than it was at this point
- 7:52Speaker 3: in twenty twenty. That was peak pandemic, though so not
- 7:55Speaker 3: many people voting in person today. In Davidson County, the
- 7:58Speaker 3: polls will be open from eight am to seven p
- 8:00Speaker 3: Williamson County, it looks like it's eight am to six thirty.
- 8:03Speaker 3: Nashville dot gov is a great resource for finding out
- 8:05Speaker 3: where and when to go Nashville dot gov. If you
- 8:08Speaker 3: haven't yet tried to get out there today, save yourself
- 8:10Speaker 3: the hassle of doing it Tuesday, which is actually election Day.
- 8:14Speaker 1: So this will all be over soon.
- 8:16Speaker 3: After fifty four years, the Grammys are going to be
- 8:18Speaker 3: leaving CBS. This news came out yesterday. Fifty four years.
- 8:21Speaker 3: That's a long time. They're gonna head to Disney. This
- 8:24Speaker 3: is not immedia though. The next two ceremonies twenty twenty
- 8:27Speaker 3: five and twenty twenty six, we'll still be on CBS.
- 8:29Speaker 3: But after that you'll be able to watch the Grammys
- 8:31Speaker 3: on ABC, Hulu, and Disney Plus. So in twenty twenty seven,
- 8:35Speaker 3: ABC is going to start the year with the Super Bowl,
- 8:37Speaker 3: the Grammys, and the Oscars.
- 8:39Speaker 1: That's big.
- 8:40Speaker 3: And lastly, in Halloween news appropriate today today will be
- 8:43Speaker 3: the first time since nineteen thirty eight that kids in
- 8:46Speaker 3: Des Moines, Iowa will trick or treat on Halloween.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Wait, why has it been so long?
- 8:51Speaker 3: They never do it on Halloween. All those years ago,
- 8:53Speaker 3: the city decided they would do something called Beggars Night
- 8:56Speaker 3: instead of regular trick or treating on Halloween, So this
- 8:59Speaker 3: would always take place the day before Halloween, and instead
- 9:02Speaker 3: of saying trick or treat, the kids would knock on
- 9:04Speaker 3: the door and tell a joke supposed to be like lighthearted,
- 9:08Speaker 3: a little less evil than Halloween.
- 9:09Speaker 1: I kind of like that.
- 9:11Speaker 3: So that was supposed to be last night, but they
- 9:14Speaker 3: got a ton of rain. Yes, so there's a lot
- 9:15Speaker 3: of rain in the forecast, so they preemptively delayed it,
- 9:18Speaker 3: and now trick or treating will actually happen in Des Moines,
- 9:20Speaker 3: Iowa for the first time since nineteen thirty eight on Halloween.
- 9:24Speaker 1: That's crazy. That's like almost ninety years that it's never
- 9:27Speaker 1: happened on actual Halloween.
- 9:29Speaker 3: I'm sure there's some folks out there listening that grew
- 9:31Speaker 3: up in Des Moines six one five, seven, three seven
- 9:33Speaker 3: nine one oh seven if you want to share your
- 9:35Speaker 3: experience with us.
- 9:36Speaker 1: I've never heard of this Beggar's Night.
- 9:38Speaker 3: Before, but let us know if you grew up with that. Hey,
- 9:40Speaker 3: right after Benson Boone, Zach's fax. He's got some good
- 9:43Speaker 3: stuff on this Halloween morning, Halloween related.
- 9:46Speaker 1: You're gonna love it.
- 9:47Speaker 3: We'll get it next.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning.
- 9:53Speaker 3: That's a Boone five the river. It's time for Zack's Fax.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Okay, So I love playing this game, Kevin, I have
- 9:59Speaker 1: a for you. Yes, how many seeds do you think
- 10:02Speaker 1: are inside of a pumpkin?
- 10:03Speaker 2: Oh?
- 10:04Speaker 3: I just carved a couple pumpkins, scooped them all loud.
- 10:06Speaker 3: I mean maybe three hundred.
- 10:09Speaker 1: There are apparently approximately five hundred seeds inside of a pumpkin,
- 10:13Speaker 1: which is great if you love to make like the
- 10:15Speaker 1: roasted pumpkin seeds. There's so many so you can eat
- 10:18Speaker 1: them literally all year round.
- 10:20Speaker 3: We roasted two pumpkins worth. We definitely did not have
- 10:23Speaker 3: a thousand seeds.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Well, looks like you got to rip off on your pumpkins.
- 10:27Speaker 1: That's your fact of the day.
- 10:29Speaker 2: Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning, on the.
- 10:33Speaker 3: Rim of seven five the River, Ricky, Zach and Mano
- 10:36Speaker 3: in the morning, Happy Halloween. We want to try something here.
- 10:40Speaker 3: We want kids to call six one, five, seven, three seven,
- 10:43Speaker 3: nine one oh seven.
- 10:44Speaker 1: We want you to practice trick or treating. Okay, Kevin,
- 10:47Speaker 1: go ahead and give us a prime example.
- 10:49Speaker 3: Okay, I'm gonna play both sides of this, Okay, Okay,
- 10:51Speaker 3: so I can kind of get this out of my
- 10:53Speaker 3: head and let everyone know what I'm thinking. Knock, knock, Hello,
- 10:57Speaker 3: trick or treat? Oh you look so right? What are
- 11:00Speaker 3: you dressed as a lion?
- 11:02Speaker 1: Oh?
- 11:03Speaker 3: Here's some candy that was really good. What's your name, Jimmy?
- 11:08Speaker 1: Keep going. I just saw the whole screenplay Happen live action.
- 11:12Speaker 1: That was really good.
- 11:13Speaker 3: Before you go door to door tonight, we want you
- 11:15Speaker 3: to practice here on the air. Tell us what you're
- 11:17Speaker 3: what you're gonna dress as six one five, seven, three seven,
- 11:20Speaker 3: nine one o seven. Again, kids, we're practicing trick or
- 11:23Speaker 3: treating before the big night. Here's espresso on the river.
- 11:26Speaker 2: Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning.
- 11:29Speaker 3: On practicing trick or treating with the kids before the
- 11:34Speaker 3: big night. We have Jackson on the line.
- 11:37Speaker 1: Go ahead. Oh, you're getting all the candy. I'm getting
- 11:42Speaker 1: your full size Snickers bar.
- 11:44Speaker 3: And what are you dressed as?
- 11:45Speaker 1: Jackson? I'm gonna be Jason for Halloween. Oh Jason.
- 11:50Speaker 3: Wow, Jason voorhies like with the hockey mask and everything. Yeah,
- 11:53Speaker 3: I didn't know the kids today were big Jason fans.
- 11:56Speaker 3: All right, I'll look for you out there. We love it.
- 11:59Speaker 3: I hope it's a great Halloween for you. You have

- 12:13Speaker 1: Okay, what's the character? Is it? Who is it?
- 12:17Speaker 6: Ah?
- 12:17Speaker 1: Yes?

- 18:17Speaker 3: Angeles Dodgers and to Nashville Zone Mookie Bets We love him.
- 18:21Speaker 3: Last night was Game five in the World Series in
- 18:24Speaker 3: New York, and while the Yankees got off to a
- 18:25Speaker 3: strong start, they were up to five to nothing at
- 18:28Speaker 3: one point. The Dodgers came back they wonted seven to six.
- 18:31Speaker 3: They are now the twenty twenty four World Series Champions,

- 18:45Speaker 3: They were not allowed in the ballpark last night. They

- 18:51Speaker 3: Metro Nashville Police Department just launched a website dedicated to
- 18:54Speaker 3: cold cases. This is great. There are around five hundred
- 18:57Speaker 3: and sixty unsalved homicide cases dating back to the ninth
- 19:00Speaker 3: teen sixties in Nashville and the department is hoping to
- 19:03Speaker 3: bring some closure and some justice to some of the
- 19:05Speaker 3: affected families. The website is encouraging anyone with information to
- 19:09Speaker 3: come forward. There will be photographs and a central case
- 19:12Speaker 3: information up there. There's a whole lot of armchair detectives
- 19:15Speaker 3: out there that can be very effective, so opening this
- 19:17Speaker 3: information up to a lot more eyeballs is a good
- 19:19Speaker 3: thing in my opinion. Nashville Coldcase DOTV. That's the website. Lastly, look,
- 19:25Speaker 3: I know it's Halloween, but Hallmark is already thinking about Christmas. Obviously,
- 19:29Speaker 3: that's what they do. I know a lot of people

- 20:31Speaker 1: It was like a onesie that you could just like
- 20:34Speaker 1: throw on last minute.
- 20:35Speaker 3: And how many years in a row do you think
- 20:36Speaker 3: you uh at least ten was this new for you
- 20:39Speaker 3: or a hand me down?
- 20:40Speaker 1: It was a hand me down for my mom, Like
- 20:42Speaker 1: my mom wore it all the time. Yeah, and then
- 20:44Speaker 1: I wore it all the time because it was just there,
- 20:46Speaker 1: like a last minute thing.
- 20:47Speaker 3: Even better, everybody had something that they wore more than once,
- 20:50Speaker 3: and we want to hear about it. Six one, five, seven,
- 20:52Speaker 3: three seven, nine, one oh seven. Let us know at
- 20:55Speaker 3: costume you wore over and over again when you were
- 20:57Speaker 3: a kid.
- 20:57Speaker 2: Ricky is Zach and Mano in Morning.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Taylor on the River.
- 21:04Speaker 3: We want to hear about that costume you wore every
- 21:07Speaker 3: year as a kid. Everyone's got one AJ in Columbia.
- 21:10Speaker 1: What was it for you?
- 21:11Speaker 6: Yep? I was Doro over and over and over again.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Oh, that was my favorite game on the like the
- 21:16Speaker 1: N sixty four.
- 21:17Speaker 3: Oh I never played the Zuro game.
- 21:19Speaker 1: What. Yeah, I didn't know that they had a Game
- 21:23Speaker 1: Boy get together. I know.
- 21:27Speaker 3: No, Wow, AJ, what do you what are you wearing
- 21:29Speaker 3: this year?
- 21:30Speaker 6: My wife is six foot tall and I'm five foot five,
- 21:33Speaker 6: and so it may not be at the kid, but
- 21:35Speaker 6: I do constantly pull out a Lord barquad outfit pretty
- 21:38Speaker 6: much every year.
- 21:39Speaker 3: That's so good. And then she is Oh man, the
- 21:41Speaker 3: name is escaping me. Hold on, don't say it tricks.
- 21:45Speaker 1: Oh that's good. It is good.
- 21:48Speaker 3: And so you don't you don't have any I mean,
- 21:50Speaker 3: not that you should, but no shame in the game
- 21:52Speaker 3: exploiting that height difference.

- 21:56Speaker 3: Good for you.

- 22:08Speaker 1: Every single year. It was like a onesie, Kevin, do
- 22:10Speaker 1: you have one?
- 22:11Speaker 3: I don't even want to say it. You have to
- 22:13Speaker 3: now at the risk of getting canceled. It just seems
- 22:16Speaker 3: so insensitive now in the looking at it through the
- 22:19Speaker 3: lens of twenty twenty four. Okay, but every single picture
- 22:22Speaker 3: of my brother and I on Halloween when we were little,
- 22:25Speaker 3: one of us or this exact same quote unquote bum
- 22:28Speaker 3: costume like a like a hobo, like from a comic
- 22:32Speaker 3: strip or something, you know what I mean. Again, not
- 22:35Speaker 3: the most sensitive thing to do these days.
- 22:37Speaker 1: But I will say, if you need time advice for
- 22:40Speaker 1: this year, a cat is always very easy. Just we're
- 22:43Speaker 1: all black and buy some cat ear, sure, like, paint

- 23:17Speaker 3: Do you think kids today like costumes are like a
- 23:20Speaker 3: bigger deal than they were back when we were growing
- 23:22Speaker 3: up because I wore the same thing every year and
- 23:24Speaker 3: I didn't think twice about it.
- 23:25Speaker 1: I think so because my kids all do something.
- 23:28Speaker 3: Different every year. Same same with us. Yeah, different costume
