- speaker-0: It is, show us your tips, Dagging Beaver for a weekend preview. AFL Grand Final weekend ahead. We've got Caulfield on the Sunday, but ⁓ more importantly Rose Hill to look at tomorrow in the immediate future. Beaver, what's going on? speaker-1: Yeah mate's ⁓ living large ⁓ sun's out and looks like a a good weekend. So yeah, hopefully ⁓ we can put the punters onto a few winners. speaker-0: Perfect. ⁓ tough, tough finish to the day last week after a strong start, but yeah, not not enamoured with that Corfield track these days. speaker-1: Yeah, it was a bit tricky ⁓ coming into the later in the day. There was ⁓ a few that ⁓ were a bit hard to find, but let's hope we can ⁓ bounce back with finishing the day strong ⁓ Saturday and Sunday. speaker-0: Beautiful. We've got ⁓ let's start at Rose Hill where the rail goes to the true position for the Golden Rose Day. ⁓ I'm thinking might get to a softish track. Beautiful weather day, but apparently some rain coming tomorrow, Avo, so keep an eye out. Much worse in Melbourne from all reports. ⁓ but I think it generally means in that with the rail true running lines okay and you can make ground ⁓ for if you're not too far back. We kick off with the midway, 1300 metres. ⁓ and where are we going from the first? speaker-1: Yeah, ⁓ look, I'm gonna play it safe in the first race ⁓ and expect that ⁓ there might be a little bit of advantage early on to those up on the speed. ⁓ better late is flying this prep. Both all three runs in have been very good. It got the service of J Mac here, only just nabbed late last start. ⁓ it's gotta go an extra hundred here and some so it's gotta it's gotta run that out ⁓ strongly, the 1300, but I thought that was the safe way to. play. I I kind of found it hard to find anything else. Maybe the resume in Miss Space Girl goes very well first up around the seven dollars is the main danger ⁓ with Sienna Grimer on board getting the two kilo claim. speaker-0: Yeah, ⁓ same, same. ⁓ I agree. I I was gonna make the case for Alabama State, but it's gone to the other ace where it it's millions. So ⁓ better late leading's good and I like to miss Space Girl. I thought fresh is good and the trial was fine. Couldn't find a lot else. To miss Hades at a best would be a chance here, but that stadium's that stadium. That stable is gone ⁓ at the moment. The second is the highway, fifteen hundred meters. And we have the big lead up through the Zalik race last month, ⁓ taking on this ⁓ Dunn horse. Actually I'll get your thoughts first, 'cause I I was a bit bit bemused by this. What did you do? Yeah. speaker-1: This is a fairly open and a fairly tricky race here. I've gone for extreme. being in the placings, ⁓ all three runs in here. I think it gets its chance here to ⁓ win a race. ⁓ hard fit. ⁓ that was a good second ⁓ behind Weyburn, who I think's got a little bit of ability last start. ⁓ there's no Weyburns in this. I think it can run well. I kind of had it on top. The 1500 will be fine. Gate nine's okay. It was kind of the way I was leading. maybe the main danger, Gideop Griff was a good second last start after a couple of good wins. I kind of looked for those two around the six, seven, eight dollar mark. ⁓ they'll they'll be around there to play both of those. speaker-0: ⁓ I had Gideop Griff I end up putting Gideop Griff on top ⁓ for the same I flipped him. I I went with that Zalik race as being the proper form. I didn't know what to do with the favourite because it was very unlucky both its last two but still getting beat up up up north north at ⁓ Queensland didn't really grab me. ⁓ and I thought it was too short here. ⁓ so I thought Gide Up Griff in a in a day where we don't have a lot of each weight plays, I thought it and extreme were were the obvious, as you've said, really. The third is the Colin Stephen Group Three twenty four hundred meter race. And I'm sticking with So you so you are off a nice win last time out. I beat ⁓ who to beat the budgie smuggler. and ran pretty well. It only has to get it's gonna have the bunny here in Chief Little Rock leading it and I think it can do the same. I didn't I'd put Bell Montagna in for second by default, but I think ⁓ that that other race was stronger and I think it'd get the job done again here. speaker-1: Yeah, Chief Little Rock is scratched, so Yes, ⁓ probably just plot log in front. ⁓ control the speed and I I can't work out why it's not favourite, to be totally honest. yeah, I've got it on top, so you are. I don't think there's too many dangers here. I think that's two dollars ninety is a really good price. speaker-0: ⁓ then it relate. Is that two ninety with the ⁓ the leader was hundreds anyway. Yeah, now it's gonna control two ninety is a great price actually. speaker-1: Yeah. I mean it's a the only thing it's got to give the other one five kilos, but it's it's a waterhouse horse that hasn't won in a while. Only won two from eighteen in its in its ⁓ speaker-0: And I think they did something. And they're playing with g I saw they're playing with the gear on Bella too, though I think blinkers went on and Yeah a few other things. So No I agree. Sweet. Okay. One of the better bets on the card, yeah. ⁓ very good. The fourth is a nineteen hundred meter benchmark eighty eight. And I decided here that ⁓ that the anthrocyte race was was no good. So I got rid of it. I thought anthrocyte was good winning that race, but the rest of those chases speaker-1: Think so. speaker-0: ⁓ and I'm sure you can make an excuse for Muk to Liff but I don't think the win is gonna come from there. I went for the two O'Shea runners here, stars in her eyes was pretty obvious last time out. And Mr. Riz ⁓ I know it comes off a Hawkesbury win, but trolled alongside Zerdelius before that was quite good. ⁓ and the first prep in Oz was quite good as well. And and might be the overs. I think they're one and two in the race. I thought ⁓ bearing a loose at twenties in in a race where not gonna be a lot of pace, ⁓ Fresh can maybe run run a place for you if you're looking One out wide here. ⁓ what are you thinking, Beaver? speaker-1: Yeah, I didn't think the Anthrocyte Mukdalif ⁓ form was too bad, to be honest. ⁓ I think they're both you know, they're they're overseas, ⁓ well mukdalif's the overseas horse and so's anthrocyte. So I thought they could I I th I still think they hold the key here. ⁓ Pace is gonna be a key anthrocyte with a weight. speaker-0: Answer sights fi like y i yeah, that he was very good there and leads. So yeah. speaker-1: Well it led and just had no pressure there. It was just too easy. and I thought Mukdaliff was honest given that the there was no pace and the other thing just controlled the race there and it stuck on okay. They've played around with a little bit of gear there. ⁓ I think it'll sit further forward there. Mr. Riz I thought ⁓ was pretty good. ⁓ it goes forward as well and beat Grafton Street by three lengths who come out in one, I think midweek somewhere. I just thought the favorite was a little bit skinny. Yeah, yeah, so again, I just thought it was a little bit skinny. I think the top four and that's why I just went to play those horses that are around the the eight dollar mark, ⁓ you can get each way, both of them. ⁓ and I think they'll give you a good site. I got muked lift on top. speaker-0: I do think it's too short, that's why I mentioned Okay. ⁓ yeah. Well that's that's was my thinking with ⁓ Baron Loose just pressuring Antrasite might might be half a chance at odds there. Pinhole was the only other horse I I'll mention, but lack of pace in it going back, ⁓ probably was against it. But its run was probably as good as Stars in Her Eyes first up, I thought. And gets Damian Lane. He goes all right. ⁓ the fifth, fourteen hundred metre benchmark eighty eight and we were both keyed in on decorum first up. Paid pretty well. We're not getting a price here, but this is a proper horse's return in proper form. I think this set this is a slightly stronger race, but the a great next step. It'll get the job done again off a nice run. ⁓ cross Tasman is the danger. It beat home Delici Boulevard last start. We saw that come out and run well last week. And Silvanito is for third. Just a nice, honest on pace that it'll do the same thing it does every week. What are your thoughts here, Beaver? speaker-1: Yeah, I'm keen on decorum as well. I think it'll be hard hard to beat in this. Tasm Cross Tasman's a ultra consistent horse and did run well ⁓ in the Golden Cup. ⁓ was stuck wide ⁓ and ran on and probably I'm I'm lucky not to win that, but ch it did beat. ⁓ the horse that you mentioned, Dulichi Boulevard home that day and it's come out in one, but just party who won that race couldn't back that up ⁓ at its latest start was probably a bit disappointing. Decorum clear on top for me here, cross taskman, the main danger and yeah, right, whatever you want for the rest. speaker-0: The sixth is the ⁓ heritage stakes. It's eleven hundred meters, three-year-old Phillies Group 3. ⁓ what are we doing with this leader? speaker-1: Yeah, look. it's hard, isn't it? ⁓ look, I'm gonna stick with Blue Door purely on the basis that Wallet's finished second, and that worries me a little bit. Both the horses that have beaten it ⁓ in the two starts in are very good. ⁓ Guest House, we know, is outstanding. Only got up on the fence and ⁓ beat it. ⁓ the 1100 suits here, it should get the right run. I don't think there's a lot of chances in this outside of Omerlong, ⁓ resuming here from Wallar MacDonald combination. I think that's the one that scares me the most. was pretty good in its only two wins. Again, probably not as against the quality of this, so it's probably gonna have to come have improved. Just gonna go for the horse that's up and running and going well and it's been ⁓ flying at that particular time. So blue door on top for me. speaker-0: Yeah, I I am the same. I just decided like I'm terrified of Omer Long, but ⁓ obviously first up it's gonna go back and ⁓ probably have a ch ⁓ a tough task getting past Blue Door. I like that Nash goes on the leader. ⁓ should have the lead. I don't think our Emperor's gonna go too crazy or try and push it. ⁓ and as you said, the two horses that that have beat at pripper are the two I'm gonna mention when we get to the feature. So I end up having it having to back it, I would say. ⁓ but I'm very scared of Omelong a little bit scared of our Emperor too, 'cause that was a nice win, but the trials weren't as ⁓ weren't ultra impressive. ⁓ the seventh is the group two ⁓ golden pendant. It's fourteen hundred meters and I am going to stick with Lazura. ⁓ it was okay first up, probably tough to make ground two either at Roadshaw first up as well, by the way. But Second up last prep, it won the Coolmore at the track. And ⁓ second up the prep before that, I it won the Let's Alope at Flemington. ⁓ J Mac will get the job done here to see it 1-1, 400 metre suits. This will be probably its target before it heads to Melbourne, I would say. easy like I was a bit a bit short, but maybe there's nothing else here. Verona Rose I thought was a good resumption and goes back to Mayor's grade, but ⁓ as I said I had concerns over the Portelli yard. What have you done? speaker-1: Yeah, same as you. I thought so Lazura looked a pretty good thing in this. It'll have improved a lot from that first up run. It it goes really well second up. I think it's looking at better quality races than this and ⁓ gate five, small field, I think it probably gives these a bath. speaker-0: Beauty. The feature is the Group One Golden Rose, fourteen hundred meters. ⁓ a full field. I don't know if there's necessarily a heap of chances, but what have you found? speaker-1: Yeah, I think you're right. ⁓ there's not a heap of chances here, obviously. hard to get past guest house. I mean, it's just it looks to be a very, very, very good animal. ⁓ it was a good ride last start. It was its first up run. ⁓ I think it'll improve by that. and I've got it on top as well. I know like I think this is a good card here to get, you know, back some winners here. tomorrow. I think the main danger is the five St. Gothard. That was a that was a good it chase heart ⁓ behind Warwoven last start. ⁓ I think it'll it'll have derived plenty from that. ⁓ And ⁓ possibly in the running line get suited here or woven, maybe tucked up on the fence. ⁓ But I think they look like the three main dangers. Maybe if you're looking for something at a price, maybe something like Central Europe if paces on can come down the middle of the track and maybe ⁓ run well. But ⁓ yeah I'm pretty keen that guest house can do it again. speaker-0: I'm with Guest House broke the track record at eleven hundred meters first up, ⁓ which is ⁓ the blue door run. ⁓ has to settle at fourteen hundred metres. ⁓ probably would have liked to see a trial, but I'm sure ⁓ this is Mick Price's favourite horse, ⁓ obviously, best horse in the yard. So it's gonna be ready to go. He knows what he's doing here. I thought Wolwen was good beating St. Goddard. It to sit outside lead there. And and did a good job. So I made it the danger, but I'm not sure there is one. And ⁓ you know, I'm not really gonna mention much else. Tronbolt will improve. I'll mention that. There you ⁓ I think guest house gets us it gets the job done. And as you say, we can we can plow into some of these favourites like we're about to do in a ninth, which is the group two Shannon Stakes, fifteen hundred meters. I think Skyhook just wins again. Had most of these covered first up. Not much more here. Private eye, if it rained. might be a chance but ⁓ that was snagged last last run and ⁓ gets a better gate here. ⁓ what am I saying? Sc I think Skywalk just hits one one, wins again. speaker-1: Yeah, I got nothing else to add. I think it's a another good thing on the day. just got to slot in here, ⁓ get track into the race and should be too good ⁓ coming down the running. There's pretty pretty average field outside of it, out of out of the top two. speaker-0: Hmm. The ⁓ the tenth is one of the trickier races, eleven hundred meter benchmark seventy-eight. Have you got an idea here? I hope we're winning by this stage. speaker-1: I didn't really have much idea at all. I hope I'm winning by this stage. There's a lot of scratchings here. three, seven, nine, twelve, thirteen, sixteen, eighteen, nineteen, twenty-one. So fair few out here. So shortens the field. I kind of just went for a bit of value here. I went for the fourteen jasmine jasmine rouge ⁓ from the Wallace table with McDonald aboard. Eleven to one. It's new to this stable, trolled okay, maybe it can run really well fresh. ⁓ it's drawn off the truck, but maybe ⁓ it can come finish on hard down the outside. I really struggled here, so I I went for it. And maybe the favourite, Mercy Mee, had some good form before it's last up failure and put out to a spell. Nathan Doell's ⁓ training outstandingly and again it's trolled ⁓ well enough behind the sky. speaker-0: Yeah, I I put Mercy Me on tap because of those trials. I think I'll cover it. I went looking for Lulumon, ⁓ who has who'll fill her off but has pads that they've been messing around with the gear there. The best of her would go close to winning this race, but it it actually has been longer than I thought since she's done that. ⁓ and Annie's Rose, no luck at all last time out, but I'm not sure gets much luck here either. ⁓ they were the three main ones. I'll probably back ⁓ probably back Mercy Me and Annie's Rose essentially, ⁓ in a tricky finish. The Quaddy at Ramwick, which is actually Rose Hill. The Quaddy at Rose Hill is ⁓ number one Lazzura. Three Verona Rose. I thought about throwing eight Medella in, but ⁓ might keep it skinny. Second leg just ⁓ guest house and well woven. Third leg just private eye and skyhook and we'll come home with ⁓ two Kimberly Secrets, four Royal Commodore, five Cantiamo, six Lulimon, eleven Annie's Rose. And that'll do us. ⁓ my best ⁓ is race six number five decorum, but pretty keen to to back the the Yeah, that one. Yeah, ⁓ race five number six dyslexic and ⁓ value race two number six ⁓ giddy upgriff. speaker-1: Five number six yeah. speaker-0: You in on a card I found it tricky to really stamp some value. ⁓ what have you got? speaker-1: Yeah, I'm gonna I'm gonna go right out there with my best bet here, Daddy. I'm gonna multi. speaker-0: Yeah, right. Okay. Has this ever worked for you? speaker-1: I don't know. Lots of things have worked for me, mate. Lots of things haven't. Okay. I'm going race five, number six, decorum, race six, number one, Blue Door, number seven, number one, Missouri. Number eight, number one, Guest House. Finishing off race nine, number two, Skyhood. I reckon you're getting about thirty, forty to one there. speaker-0: What do you get? Read them out again. Just those five favourites from decorum. Yes or eighty five. Put it on now. speaker-1: Let's just work them out, right? Two ten, two thirty-five, and one eighty. speaker-0: Corum, Lazura, Guest House, and Skyhook, Five Legs gets you why does it give us a price? There we go. Thirty to one. Thirty to one. And you would just put that on and sit back and watch the AFL? speaker-1: with that. That's it mate. Sit down, put the feet up, watch the AFL and ⁓ cheer ⁓ home. Beauty. That's it for the day. My my ⁓ value bet is race four number nine Mukaliff. There you go, for a one straight out around the eight dollar month. speaker-0: Fair enough. speaker-1: Mate, sure, I'm hoping it'd be a pretty good match. ⁓ I think Brisbane, ⁓ slight leaning towards Brisbane. I know Frey are probably being the most consistent and better team all year, but I just don't think they've ⁓ put it together yet in the finals. So I think they need to turn that around a bit if they're gonna match Brisbane on Grand Final Day, which is not without the realms of possibility. Got a few game breakers there. They're just gonna have to step up on the big stage. Brisbane we know can do it. speaker-0: Yeah, beauty. What's that three it'll be three in a row, won't it? cool. ⁓ at well in Mel at Melbourne, ⁓ they've moved the feature meeting to the Sunday to accommodate. speaker-1: Yeah outstanding. speaker-0: As they tend to do. In fact they've moved most of what would normally be the Friday night Manicado card there, ⁓ where the rail goes out thirteen meters. There is rain about tomorrow afternoon, which we'll see what that means at Caulfield. Usually means the inside's no good, but there's not much inside left when you're out thirteen metres. ⁓ it does look like a Friday night Mooney Valley meeting where you just go looking for favourites and work out which ones you want to back and which ones you don't. ⁓ Which I suppose is similar to Rose Hill, but we kick off with the eleven hundred meters three year old race here. And I thought this was ⁓ one of the more interesting races on the card. What have you done? speaker-1: Yeah, good little opener to the event. I've gone for the favourite here, Tales of Time. ⁓ that was really, really, really ⁓ impressive first up ⁓ at Sandown. ⁓ one with plenty in hand. Love the way it let down. ⁓ coming off some previously good form. sets up really nice here. The one I am concerned around is Amon from the Freeman Stable. That was a very, very good first up win. Looks like it's a smart horse. Put four lengths on him in no no uncertainty. terms there. nicely. I think it can run a really nice race. I think it's the main danger. But tails on time, tails off time on top to beat Amon. speaker-0: Yeah, I feel like this is one of these favorites I should just tip and shut up. But ⁓ I I I'm gonna back bar jest each way here. I liked it's very impressive two wins in Adelaide ⁓ coming here. And the other one I'll mention that you haven't yet is ⁓ Bugsy and I thought that was he was pretty good. Cross line for Big Sky last time out and drops back in grade slightly. where he'll have a better run as well. Just got a bit ⁓ tangled up coming down the outside. ⁓ speaker-1: for those I was just a bit worried about the draw. speaker-0: Yeah, thirteen or fourteen. I'm thinking they're gonna slingshot out to the middle by at some point in the ⁓ in the card, but it might not come just yet. ⁓ race two is the Jim Maloney stakes, fourteen hundred and forty meters with the rail beam where it is. ⁓ and I I think Pretty Baby has these covered. ⁓ very, very impressive last time out, handles condition any conditions. ⁓ and smacked them last time. So she's on top. ⁓ we'll see. Cherry Bombshell might want fourteen hundred now. might be gone, but got through the last six hundred all right in Sydney and it's just different form. But maybe there's no challenges here. But I'm gonna back pretty baby. What are you doing? speaker-1: Yeah, I'm gonna back Pretty Baby as well, got it on top for all the same reasons you pointed out. ⁓ and my savour will be Regal Ambition from the the Hay Stable. was well back last start at Sandown, beat stipulation, who come out midweek and won very nicely, showed it's got a it's a horse of a bit of potential. So that form has been franked. So if it can run up to that run, I think it can be right in this and get pushed pretty baby, but I'd be nailing them up. speaker-0: Beauty. The ⁓ third is the JRA Cup. It is a group two, two thousand meters, the deepest one on the card. What do you well that said half a Marina Mornington, so we'll see who turns up, but ⁓ what have you done here? speaker-1: Yeah, wasn't a race that I was overly excited about. I I kinda stuck with Dark Bony big just to forgive last run. because prior to that, those those two runs prior to that were very, very good. one at Caulfield and then ⁓ second at ⁓ Flemington. so ⁓ it did run third to St George at it's only run over twenty ⁓ two thousand, so ⁓ I think it can run well here. I think it'll it'll improve off what we saw last start. And I just found a I found it hard to find too many dangers. That was the that was the hardback. I I just kept going back to it. maybe s Some of the dangers could be the see see that stall. ⁓ I think it can bounce back after its last run and maybe something like ⁓ Sapphire Syrah Sony had the one run, this prep and was quite nice at Sandown, ⁓ getting over the 2000 I think will suit. Might be a horse on the way up and ⁓ getting a start could be hard to beat. speaker-0: I agree. ⁓ I actually had it on top so far, siren, because we we I'm just sick of every horse in this race. Feel like we've been doing four on them since as long as we've been on this show. ⁓ that said it is in at Mornington tomorrow at five dollars. If it runs at morning it'll win. ⁓ s but I think she goes close to leading here Sapphire Siren. Should she be here? And so that's why I put her on top. And I add Future History as the danger. But I backed it at fifties last start and got ten bucks a place. less excited, but gets gate one and probably leads this race, which hey that might be no good if the ra if yeah, the inside is is Awful. ⁓ what price was Detonated Jack? Is there any other one I had? Yeah, probably I'm gonna end up backing Detonator Jack in future history I'd say if if Siren's not here. I know that that's my point. So is everyone else? That's why like Royal Royal Supremacy is six years old. It feels like it's sixteen. I'm sick of looking at ⁓ Anyway. speaker-1: That's why I couldn't ⁓ get excited about speaker-0: Yeah. I feel ya. ⁓ the the fourth is a group three for the twelve group three for the Phillies over twelve hundred metres. And I thought Scintillation did a good enough job behind Santano Glow last time out, who we were both pretty keen on. ⁓ so I'm gonna back it again. Seven fifty. ⁓ I'm gonna cover Ayamaria, who's who was poking up the inside last time in his fifties. ⁓ will be fifties tomorrow. ⁓ I'll cover it. And this over the bridge can win this race. I just I struggle sometimes when these horses come to town off one run in the bush and struggle to line ⁓ up and get my head around it 'cause obviously it doesn't happen a lot in Sydney. ⁓ but can win if you like it. Yeah. More power to you. What are you thinking, Beaver? speaker-1: That was a bit the same as you. I thought it was a bit skinny coming in off that. I've gone for number eight, Jadzia. I mean it's similar, it's come off Ballarat, ⁓ but it was very good. ⁓ started a short price favorite and killed him. But it has had two starts at Flemington. ⁓ One of those a second behind medicinal. ⁓ when ⁓ last in work earlier this year, looks like it's come back in good order. And I think about the $15 mark, I think it's w worth a worth a sight each way. You're right, I thought scintillation can run well here. ⁓ it's been pretty good so far this time in. And over the bridge, obviously a watch on it, but six to four, seven to four is a bit skinny for me. speaker-0: Yeah, agree. ⁓ the fifth is the Mile Fien Stakes. What are we doing here? speaker-1: Yeah, well, I'm gonna go Pride of Jenny ⁓ 'cause it is Caulfield and I think you know it's gonna lead here. It's not gonna have too much pressure, I wouldn't have thought. So I think it's probably gonna try and boot away from him and give him something to chase. 1600's perfect and I just found it hard to like too much else. ⁓ Mr. Bright Sides obviously the danger it's going well. ⁓ so they they clash again here, but I've just got Pratogenny on top. yeah. speaker-0: I'm ⁓ well she's looking for a hat trick in this race, obviously we're not at Mini Valley, but ⁓ I'm gonna back Pride of Germany and just cheer her. Simple. She'll lead. I thought the last jump out was very good. And there's no you know, she she'll be four lengths ahead for the most part and be whether she can hold on. ⁓ I'm actually gonna make her my best of the day 'cause fuck it. ⁓ the mile stutts stakes is next and as I said, this is where we just sort of can pick out some more favourites. I'm gonna back Lara Antipova. ⁓ wet Wetter the better for her if the rain does come. ⁓ I'm sort of an terrified again of Diamoda, who I've backed who have tipped end tipped end backed its last two starts at close to twenties. Now it's three dollars forty with J Mac. I just didn't realise how unlucky it was in that Lara Antipova race until I did the replays this morning. ⁓ but she's just bulletproof. She probably leads again. And if she does I think she'll win. What are you doing? speaker-1: Yeah, I'm just gonna I'm gonna go for diameter. third up here. I just I just flipped them around. I'm just filthy because I tipped Lara Antipova first up and then I didn't back at second up. So I'm still cranky about that. So I'm not getting on now. ⁓ so I'm gonna go diameter. Bit worried about the the one gate that that might get strung up again. ⁓ so that's a bit of a concern there. ⁓ I think the two hold the key and fight it out. And if you're looking to throw some horses in for trifectors, maybe number eight Boise Bounce and number six Ignetti. ⁓ I think both of those can be there or thereabouts and and get into some of the minor placings. speaker-0: Beautiful. The what's next the stock stakes. It is a group two for the four-year-old Nup Mares. What have you done in this one? speaker-1: Yeah, sticking changing colours. I really like this horse. keen to stick with it. ⁓ it's taking all before it, whatever's put in front of it, keeps winning. It's flying at the moment. Another good win last start. Again, this is probably its toughest test to date. Gate 10's a good draw for it. I think can get in the running line, pose it up where it can. And ⁓ super hard to beat. Sassapuel, I'm not, I'm not overly keen on. I think it's got to reproduce. ⁓ speaker-0: She's sort of been showing up now, she doesn't just get to have her own way. speaker-1: Bully, yeah, that's ⁓ yeah, a bit bit concerned about that. I think it's a bit skinny, too darn discreet. I think that's a horse with plenty of plenty of ability and it was very good first up. ⁓ so I've got it as the main danger. And then if you're looking again down in the down in the further in the market, number eight, perfect, ten and nine gold medalists, I think they can run handy races. speaker-0: ⁓ with changing colours, Mayor that's flying. Last start was as good as it's it's a couple before that and very winnable race. There's a long tail on this. Two dance creet will be back and be the chaser. Another one that I tipped it would have been nice if it had won at fifties. But ⁓ we got something out of the place at least. ⁓ she's come back in good order. The feature is the group one Manicado Stakes, 1200 metres, ⁓ an interesting 1200 meter race here. Where I've sort of obviously I was very bullish on Baywack in the last one and I've decided to stick with it. Again, I don't particularly like the back to twelve hundred metres, but there's not a heap of pace here. ⁓ I like the Nash has come down. It's it does have a second attempted and a fourth to ten tirus not far off ⁓ over over the distance and I think it's a better horse now than it was back when it was a three year old. ⁓ so I've put it on top. ⁓ I got a little sucked into Napoleonic off its trials, but ⁓ it that's what it does every prep, so maybe I'm wrong there. And I'm I think I decided I have to forgive a live another day, 'cause it was a bit too bad to be true up the straight but maybe it was a bit found out. I'm against most other things. My Gladiola doesn't run the distance. Jimmy Star's gone. Well not gone, but it doesn't like winning. and I was a bit confused by Extra Galactic. It's not a horse I've spent a lot of time thinking about. So maybe with J Mate going on it's It's the ⁓ knockout shot here. But probably just gonna back baywack and and cheer it as well. What are you thinking? speaker-1: Young bailak here, I'm pretty keen on it. yeah, I think it jumps and runs here. I'm not so worried about the step back ⁓ from 14 to 1200. I think it gains control. Not a lot of pace. So like we know it's gonna run a strong 1200. ⁓ the only key is if something cat took it on and sort of got past it and didn't have control there, but I'm just kind of thinking it from gate three. speaker-0: There's also no pace, that's like there's there's no pressure. speaker-1: They'll bustle it out, take control and then they've got to go past it. And I just don't think anything here just yet is going good enough. ⁓ super keen on it. speaker-0: ⁓ yeah, well the good thing about Nash is you know he'll if the rail's no good he'll just wander out to the middle of the track, he'll be in the right spot. ⁓ he'll get the ride right, it's just whether anything else is quicker and and maybe there's nothing here. ⁓ the last is the Testerosa stakes, fourteen hundred and forty metres. ⁓ and I went through by the time I got to this side went through and did the form and just ⁓ went nup, nup, nup, nup, nup and was left with two chances. Baclea, who ⁓ won the One go a last start at Sandown and War Machine who's coming off forgive Buck is it Bucklea? How do you pronounce this? Bucklea. Bukleigh. ⁓ it's also in at Mornington tomorrow. ⁓ is the only concern with tipping that. But otherwise I think it's gonna be hard to beat here. ⁓ so and on that note, what have you found? speaker-1: Now I'm going I'm going Harry's yacht. ⁓ I think it's going to be super hard to beat here. I think it's got the gun drawing gate five. its first up run was very good. ⁓ it had the second fastest 400-200 split of the of the meeting. ⁓ came out and had a nice jump out ⁓ since then. I think stepping up to the 1400 from the 1100 first up is right up its alley. speaker-0: Okay. speaker-1: Goes well this track and distance, three out of four wins. ⁓ I think it's gonna be super hard to beat. I've got it on top ⁓ and a good way to finish the day. speaker-0: Beauty, do you give us your cordy? speaker-1: Do I do I ever? Starting in race six, the quarty is ⁓ number ten, Lara Antopova, number one, Diameter, number eight, boys bouncer, number six, Sidinetti. In the second leg, ⁓ I'm going number five, changing colours, number two, too darn discreet, number nine, gold medalist, and number ten, perfect ten. Number eight, perfect ten, I think. Sorry. In the third leg, the Manicado, five B WAC, three Jimmy's Star, number 13, Extra Galactic, and number 11, My Gladiola. And to finish the day, I'm going number 9, Harry's Yacht, number 13, Bucleck, and number 11, Home Rule. speaker-0: Beautiful. ⁓ what's your best in value? speaker-1: My best bet comes up in race eight number five B WAC. Pretty keen it can get the job done. And my ⁓ value of the day is race four number eight Jadzia. speaker-0: Excellent. My best. I'm gonna make it Jenny. Race five number five pride of Jenny getting control in the fan. And we'll go race one number six bargest ⁓ as the value. ⁓ just a couple of ⁓ from the very quick look at Mornington. ⁓ if Sapphire Siren's there, I think it'll run well. I mentioned Buckley might go there and Leon Croix Leon Qua. is also there and for Mick Price and will run well. ⁓ anything happening at Queensland? I even know which one of these meetings I was supposed to look at at Queensland. Yeah, what what is going on there? No, that's fair. So just a good weekend. We'll get through the footy and ⁓ pick out these favourites and make some profit because it's Epsom weekend next weekend and we can really get ⁓ get stuck into it. Beauty thanks mate thanks punished talk soon speaker-1: Yeah, not not interested at all. No worries. Right.
