- 1:06Speaker 2: I am back with the original favorite, my life partner
- 1:09Speaker 2: in comedy, Chris Fangiola.
- 1:10Speaker 3: Thank you. I'm back.
- 1:12Speaker 2: I haven't seen you since our fun traveling time together.
- 1:16Speaker 3: Our trip. In the Hamptons. Well, I wasn't in the Hamptons.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Oh, that's right.
- 1:20Speaker 3: I was just in New Jersey and Long Island, Huntington
- 1:23Speaker 3: and Foxwoods. Yeah, that's where I was, which is great.
- 1:27Speaker 3: It was all great. It wasn't the Hamptons, but it
- 1:29Speaker 3: was great. We had our little car driving from city
- 1:32Speaker 3: to city. We did. It was wonderful.
- 1:34Speaker 2: It really was fun. And we had some moments in
- 1:39Speaker 2: the car that, again, how the universe was just, like,
- 1:42Speaker 2: coming at us. Remember we were talking about our friend
- 1:45Speaker 2: Paul Reeder?
- 1:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:46Speaker 2: And then, like, all of a sudden he texted me.
- 1:49Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:49Speaker 2: It was crazy. I had so many crazy moments like that.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Where someone would enter my mind and then they would
- 1:55Speaker 2: immediately text me or something would pop up.
- 1:57Speaker 3: On my phone. Yeah. That was a fun little chat.
- 1:59Speaker 3: Paul Reeder. Haven't talked to him in a while.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Yes.
- 2:02Speaker 3: You know, just about crazy friends and stuff. It's wild.
- 2:04Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:04Speaker 2: Like just our fun, our fun life together.
- 2:06Speaker 3: I was going to ask you as I was driving here,
- 2:08Speaker 3: I felt like I was getting ready today to come
- 2:10Speaker 3: to this podcast. And I thought to myself, you know,
- 2:13Speaker 3: I don't get ready for much anymore. And do you
- 2:17Speaker 3: miss like working in an office? Did you ever miss
- 2:20Speaker 3: like working with, you know we on Chelsea lately we
- 2:23Speaker 3: used to have to go in every day and be
- 2:25Speaker 3: surrounded by hundreds of people.
- 2:29Speaker 2: I honestly don't miss it at all really I don't
- 2:31Speaker 2: know I really don't I mean I like coming here
- 2:34Speaker 2: and sometimes when I'm sort of by myself it's fine
- 2:37Speaker 2: yeah I think there's enough in the week where I
- 2:40Speaker 2: do see people or I go out and do something
- 2:42Speaker 2: right so I mean I love not driving.
- 2:46Speaker 3: Okay over the hill right right right yeah that's good.
- 2:49Speaker 2: And like you know so that part Yeah. I don't know.
- 2:53Speaker 2: I don't. Do you miss it?
- 2:55Speaker 3: Sometimes on my podcast, people tell me I talk too
- 2:57Speaker 3: much about Chelsea Lainey. And I say, the only reason
- 2:59Speaker 3: I talk about it is because the last time I
- 3:01Speaker 3: was around people, like I haven't really been around people
- 3:04Speaker 3: since then. I haven't worked in a group atmosphere.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Listen, I have something for you.
- 3:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:12Speaker 2: They sent it to me. Yeah.
- 3:13Speaker 3: Card for me to your studio.
- 3:16Speaker 2: My apologies. I don't have a mailing address for Chris's
- 3:20Speaker 2: cover to cover. So let's see what it is. Let's
- 3:22Speaker 2: open it together.
- 3:23Speaker 3: Well, let's hope this is good because this could be,
- 3:26Speaker 3: this is terrible. Oh, it's just happy birthday to a
- 3:29Speaker 3: fun guy.
- 3:29Speaker 2: When was your birthday?
- 3:31Speaker 3: May 21st. Oh, I remember them. They were sweet people.
- 3:34Speaker 3: They were in Chicago.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Oh, they're cute.
- 3:36Speaker 3: Okay, so there's nothing scary.
- 3:36Speaker 2: There's no anthrax.
- 3:38Speaker 3: No, you never know. Yeah, this is your daughter, you know,
- 3:41Speaker 3: a picture of a kid. No, nothing of that.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Speaking of which, I got someone who wrote me an
- 3:46Speaker 2: email who said, I think my friend Mike is the
- 3:52Speaker 2: son that you gave up for adoption. Oh.
- 3:56Speaker 3: Wait, did you give up a kid for adoption?
- 3:58Speaker 5: No.
- 3:58Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:58Speaker 2: But what I thought was kind of juicy is like,
- 4:01Speaker 2: I wonder if someone's just putting this out there to
- 4:04Speaker 2: a ton of celebrities to see if all of a sudden,
- 4:08Speaker 2: like in my past, I gave up. So I wrote, wow,
- 4:14Speaker 2: how old is he?
- 4:15Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Just, let me see if they write me back.
- 4:18Speaker 3: Yeah. That's... That's easily traceable, isn't it? I mean, there'd
- 4:22Speaker 3: be a picture of you pregnant or something.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Not really because, you know, I remember there's this like
- 4:29Speaker 2: religious retreat that they do at the Catholic school called Kairos.
- 4:34Speaker 2: And you basically go for three days and it's really juicy.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Like people, and you get asked to do it as
- 4:41Speaker 2: if you're a junior, they ask you to do it
- 4:43Speaker 2: as a junior so you can be like the senior leader.
- 4:45Speaker 3: What's juicy about it? You go to the mountains?
- 4:47Speaker 2: You have to have a juicy story to be a leader.
- 4:49Speaker 4: Oh.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Like your dad died. Something tragic happened. Something like that.
- 4:54Speaker 3: Kind of like that same thing to win America's Got Talent. Yes.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Yes.
- 4:59Speaker 3: You have to have something.
- 5:00Speaker 2: So I had told Mackenzie, you know, like when she
- 5:03Speaker 2: was going to school, I was like, ooh, I had
- 5:06Speaker 2: some juicy stories. And then this girl that babysat for
- 5:10Speaker 2: us that was between, you know, just a little older
- 5:13Speaker 2: than Mackenzie, she told, she had a really juicy story.
- 5:17Speaker 2: This girl was the leader and she revealed that like
- 5:20Speaker 2: remember when i was sick you know last year and
- 5:23Speaker 2: everyone thought i had this thing well i didn't i
- 5:25Speaker 2: had a baby and i gave it up for adoption
- 5:29Speaker 2: and i was like wow i said to the girl
- 5:31Speaker 2: i go i thought i had some juicy stories back
- 5:33Speaker 2: in the 80s because girl's boyfriend was a coke dealer
- 5:35Speaker 2: it's a good one you know her dad was an
- 5:37Speaker 2: alcohol some other person's dad was an alcoholic a teacher
- 5:41Speaker 2: had a juicy story about an ex-husband i was like
- 5:43Speaker 2: i thought i you know and um So then when
- 5:47Speaker 2: I go to pick her up, I'm like, how was it?
- 5:49Speaker 2: She's like, it was fine, but nobody had any juicy stories.
- 5:51Speaker 2: No one had any juicy stories at all.
- 5:53Speaker 5: Oh, no.
- 5:54Speaker 2: And then I remember I didn't tell my juicy story,
- 5:57Speaker 2: which is like my parents yelling and fighting and my
- 6:01Speaker 2: weird brothers and everything. Because I was like, listen, these
- 6:05Speaker 2: people see my parents as these perfect realtors.
- 6:08Speaker 6: Right.
- 6:08Speaker 2: If I share- And believe me, I want the therapy moment.
- 6:13Speaker 2: I want the tears. I know I can tell a
- 6:16Speaker 2: juicy story. I didn't know I had to wait 35
- 6:19Speaker 2: years until Patreon existed to tell the juicy stories. I
- 6:23Speaker 2: wanted to tell it then, but I was smart enough
- 6:25Speaker 2: to know if I really tell the truth about my
- 6:27Speaker 2: dysfunctional Irish Catholic family, these people might go home and
- 6:32Speaker 2: then their parents might be like, oh, we're thinking of
- 6:34Speaker 2: listing our house with Bob and Pam McDonald. And then
- 6:35Speaker 2: that girl might be like, mom, they are fucked up.
- 6:39Speaker 2: So I was like, shit. And so then my story was,
- 6:43Speaker 2: I wish I could share with you the real juice
- 6:46Speaker 2: about my life.
- 6:47Speaker 3: Oh, that's a tease.
- 6:48Speaker 2: But I can't. Oh, you shouldn't have done that. Because
- 6:50Speaker 2: we need to get as many listings as possible so
- 6:53Speaker 2: I could go to USC.
- 6:54Speaker 3: Right. Well, I mean.
- 6:59Speaker 2: I feel kind of bad talking about it because it
- 7:00Speaker 2: is a really nice retreat and I'm sure it's different now.
- 7:04Speaker 2: I'm just saying.
- 7:05Speaker 3: They don't encourage people to bring their. terrible stories, like stories.
- 7:09Speaker 2: Of trauma anymore. I think it's more, hopefully it's not
- 7:12Speaker 2: as traumatic because I think a lot of like, now
- 7:15Speaker 2: our generation's going and I think like, you know, I'm like, hey, kids.
- 7:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Don't be spilling any Heather McDonald juicy scoop in your
- 7:26Speaker 2: therapy session on this retreat.
- 7:28Speaker 3: I just feel it's so funny that, because I hung
- 7:30Speaker 3: around the Catholic church a lot too. And it wasn't
- 7:32Speaker 3: really like, we were church going people, but nothing crazy.
- 7:36Speaker 3: It went for communion confirmation and then the midnight mass.
- 7:40Speaker 2: Right.
- 7:41Speaker 3: But then my other friends on the block were all Catholic. Yes.
- 7:46Speaker 3: So we would go and hang out with them. And,
- 7:49Speaker 3: you know, I would tell you, I've told the story
- 7:51Speaker 3: before in here that I would work out for the priests.
- 7:53Speaker 3: Like we would do lift weights. It seems so strange now,
- 7:58Speaker 3: but I don't, you know, and nothing beyond that. Yeah.
- 8:00Speaker 3: Just guys get a good pump going. We were like
- 8:04Speaker 3: 12 and then we would do contests.
- 8:08Speaker 2: Well, my.
- 8:08Speaker 3: So that's my truth. If I had to tell a
- 8:10Speaker 3: dramatic story in the woods with on a camp getaway,
- 8:13Speaker 3: I would say I worked out one time and I
- 8:15Speaker 3: lost every time.
- 8:17Speaker 5: I mean.
- 8:18Speaker 2: My brother was at one of the schools.
- 8:20Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 8:20Speaker 2: And he hated it and left and went to a
- 8:24Speaker 2: public school. And I was like, why did he leave
- 8:27Speaker 2: that school, Mom? And she said, oh, I don't know.
- 8:29Speaker 2: You know, he's saying that the typing teacher always was
- 8:33Speaker 2: rubbing his back and he didn't like it. Well, 35
- 8:36Speaker 2: years later, he was like– he was, you know.
- 8:42Speaker 3: The typing teacher?
- 8:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:43Speaker 3: Oh, really?
- 8:44Speaker 1: He was.
- 8:44Speaker 4: Wow.
- 8:45Speaker 2: He was, you know– and found out and convicted and
- 8:49Speaker 2: all this other stuff. But it was many, many, many
- 8:51Speaker 2: years later. So when, also when people are like, you know,
- 8:55Speaker 2: think I'm like a hypocrite, whatever, sending my kids to
- 8:58Speaker 2: Catholic school. Me personally, my family, we had a very
- 9:02Speaker 2: wonderful experience. And our parish has, you know, been safe. So,
- 9:07Speaker 2: but of course all this weird stuff happens and, you know,
- 9:10Speaker 2: and I just remember like, I remember like wanting to
- 9:15Speaker 2: be a nun.
- 9:16Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:17Speaker 2: But I didn't want to be a nun, but I
- 9:21Speaker 2: felt guilty for not being a nun. And so one
- 9:24Speaker 2: time at school, this nun came, and they said, oh,
- 9:28Speaker 2: we have this traveling nun that's like a TED talker.
- 9:31Speaker 2: We're so excited to have her. She's going to tell
- 9:33Speaker 2: the best story. So she comes in and she tells
- 9:36Speaker 2: a story about when she was a little girl, and
- 9:38Speaker 2: all of a sudden the window came in, and she
- 9:42Speaker 2: felt like Jesus come sit down and put his arm
- 9:45Speaker 2: around her. And that's when she knew. she was going
- 9:48Speaker 2: to be a nun and give her life to Jesus Christ,
- 9:50Speaker 2: you know? And she got the calling, she got the calling.
- 9:53Speaker 2: And while I was so frickin' scared.
- 9:55Speaker 3: Waiting for the call.
- 9:56Speaker 2: That I was gonna get the call, because I go,
- 9:58Speaker 2: I don't really want to be. Right. And I go,
- 10:00Speaker 2: and I remember I told my sister, I'm like, I'm
- 10:01Speaker 2: so scared to get the calling because I just, like,
- 10:06Speaker 2: I don't, I wouldn't hate to be a nun, but like,
- 10:08Speaker 2: I don't want to be a nun. I'm like, could
- 10:09Speaker 2: I be a nun after I get married, have kids
- 10:12Speaker 2: and my husband dies?
- 10:14Speaker 3: Right.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Then I'll be a nun and live in the convent
- 10:16Speaker 2: with the other nuns. And pray. But I don't want
- 10:19Speaker 2: to do it now. And also there was some movie
- 10:21Speaker 2: where like these people were becoming nuns and part of
- 10:25Speaker 2: it was like they would cut their hair. And the
- 10:27Speaker 2: priest would do it, which is so mean. And he
- 10:30Speaker 2: would just like cut like that in a choppy, not
- 10:33Speaker 2: even like a cute hairstyle.
- 10:34Speaker 3: No, really?
- 10:35Speaker 2: And yeah, they weren't allowed to have long hair or
- 10:37Speaker 2: whatever certain.
- 10:38Speaker 3: They were never.
- 10:39Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 10:39Speaker 3: I mean, the nuns I knew were all 80. Right.
- 10:42Speaker 2: Well, there's like very few nuns now.
- 10:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:45Speaker 2: And yeah.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 10:48Speaker 2: I mean, I didn't realize the real story about nuns
- 10:52Speaker 2: until I was showing the nuns a house with my mom. Right.
- 10:56Speaker 2: They needed to buy like another five bedroom house because
- 10:58Speaker 2: they they were at the convent at Our Lady of
- 11:01Speaker 2: Malibu and they were at the convent at St.
- 11:03Speaker 6: Mel's.
- 11:03Speaker 2: And like they needed another house. And so these were
- 11:06Speaker 2: like the Louisville, my high school nuns. And I said,
- 11:10Speaker 2: so now how in that house was, you know, this
- 11:12Speaker 2: is a long time ago. So whatever is like 700,000
- 11:14Speaker 2: for like a five bedroom house in West Hills.
- 11:16Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:17Speaker 2: And these were like nuns that could drive and work.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Like they were like, you know, not old.
- 11:22Speaker 4: Right.
- 11:22Speaker 2: And I said, so who, do you guys get a
- 11:25Speaker 2: loan or just the archdiocese pays for the house? Like
- 11:28Speaker 2: how are we doing this? And the nun goes, glory
- 11:31Speaker 2: be to God, they don't give us a penny. We're
- 11:34Speaker 2: our own corporation.
- 11:35Speaker 3: Oh, I didn't know that.
- 11:36Speaker 2: And I did not realize that the priests are taken
- 11:41Speaker 2: care of forever.
- 11:42Speaker 4: Right.
- 11:43Speaker 2: And a nun is like their own little thing.
- 11:46Speaker 3: They're out on the street.
- 11:47Speaker 2: You have to like, yeah, so you have to donate
- 11:49Speaker 2: or they, that's why they have, would become nurses and
- 11:52Speaker 2: teachers and all that. Yeah. Because they had to like
- 11:55Speaker 2: have some type of income.
- 11:57Speaker 3: That's not.
- 11:57Speaker 2: To keep it going.
- 11:58Speaker 3: They didn't show that in Sister Act.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Okay, moving on, let's talk about some juicy stuff.
- 12:03Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 12:04Speaker 2: You were, oh, the Hamptons, the Hamptons was really.
- 12:06Speaker 3: Yeah, I asked you before we came to air, how
- 12:08Speaker 3: was the Hamptons? You were out there.
- 12:09Speaker 2: The Hamptons was very fun and, um, um, you know,
- 12:14Speaker 2: everyone's always like, Oh, you have a great life. It
- 12:16Speaker 2: looks like you're, you're fun. You got to be with
- 12:17Speaker 2: your sorority sisters. You know, I had that fun four
- 12:21Speaker 2: or five days between the last show with you and
- 12:23Speaker 2: the show and the Hamptons. And of course I like
- 12:26Speaker 2: to dwell on the one person that writes something mean.
- 12:29Speaker 3: Right.
- 12:30Speaker 2: And though I'm, I'm turning a leaf, I'm not going
- 12:33Speaker 2: to do that anymore. But one last time they said,
- 12:36Speaker 2: I mean, really? Like she just loves to stay, be
- 12:39Speaker 2: away from her husband and kids. And then, you know,
- 12:42Speaker 2: I'm like, at least one person was like, well, I think,
- 12:45Speaker 2: and does it really make sense to fly back and forth? Well,
- 12:47Speaker 2: I would.
- 12:48Speaker 5: Right.
- 12:48Speaker 3: No, I would.
- 12:49Speaker 2: And then they said, well, that's very misogynistic. You know,
- 12:51Speaker 2: Chris Frangelo travels all the time and he has a
- 12:53Speaker 2: three-year-old daughter and her sons are 17.
- 12:55Speaker 3: She's four. Sorry, four.
- 12:57Speaker 2: And his, her sons are, you know, 17 and 20
- 13:00Speaker 2: and one's already back at college and the 17-year-old drives and,
- 13:05Speaker 2: and like, I don't think my 17-year-old, and they're like, yeah,
- 13:08Speaker 2: but Chris talks about how he misses his child. And
- 13:12Speaker 2: I'm like, Have I not talked enough about that I
- 13:16Speaker 2: missed my kid as a missing mom? Yeah. I mean,
- 13:18Speaker 2: as a working mom?
- 13:19Speaker 3: I don't know if I do. Well, if it makes
- 13:21Speaker 3: me any better of a father, I went to a
- 13:23Speaker 3: kid's birthday party this weekend. It was 105 degrees in
- 13:26Speaker 3: their backyard. And I stood there for hours, watched the
- 13:30Speaker 3: cake melt, watched kids whack, whack at a pinata. I've
- 13:35Speaker 3: never seen a pinata go well, ever. Never seen it
- 13:38Speaker 3: go well. Either somebody gets hit with a stick.
- 13:40Speaker 2: Or- Or somebody is traumatized because they can't hit it
- 13:42Speaker 2: or it's funny. I always feel like an adult finally
- 13:46Speaker 2: has to break it down.
- 13:47Speaker 3: This is what happened. First of all, it's made out
- 13:49Speaker 3: of big, thick cardboard. These kids are four. There's no
- 13:52Speaker 3: way anybody was going to break into this. Physics were off.
- 13:56Speaker 3: The way it was shaped, it was like, there's no way.
- 13:58Speaker 3: So every kid takes a whack. First of all, it's
- 14:02Speaker 3: been sitting in the backyard for- 105 degrees for five hours.
- 14:06Speaker 3: So whatever's inside it is a mess. You know, whatever
- 14:09Speaker 3: candy's in there. It's just all in a ball. And
- 14:13Speaker 3: all the kids are whacking at it. And then a
- 14:14Speaker 3: woman turns to me, she goes, Chris, do you just
- 14:16Speaker 3: want to break it open? And I was like, well, no.
- 14:20Speaker 3: Because what if I can't break it open? That's going
- 14:22Speaker 3: to be real embarrassing. And then my daughter's like, Dad,
- 14:24Speaker 3: you're strong. You do it. I'm like, yeah, but honey.
- 14:27Speaker 3: Now I'm explaining physics to her. Like, the stick's not
- 14:29Speaker 3: heavy enough. The cardboard's thick. She's like, just go back. Finally,
- 14:34Speaker 3: some old man starts to whack it and he can't
- 14:37Speaker 3: get into it. And then they just tear it up
- 14:38Speaker 3: with their hands. And the kids all grabbed the shit
- 14:41Speaker 3: out of it. It was wild. But that's why.
- 14:44Speaker 2: And is a piñata now considered like cultural appropriation?
- 14:48Speaker 3: Like you shouldn't.
- 14:49Speaker 2: Have a piñata?
- 14:50Speaker 3: They were Spanish, so maybe there's that.
- 14:51Speaker 2: So they're allowed.
- 14:53Speaker 3: Also, it's terrifying because you buy the piñata of whatever
- 14:57Speaker 3: the child likes the most. Say it's the girl from Frozen.
- 15:01Speaker 3: And then they watch them get strung up from a
- 15:04Speaker 3: tree and beaten, beaten, beaten with a stick.
- 15:07Speaker 2: I remember there was Dora the Explorer and I thought
- 15:09Speaker 2: that was awful.
- 15:10Speaker 3: I know.
- 15:10Speaker 2: Here she's a little girl with a backpack and we're
- 15:14Speaker 2: beating the shit.
- 15:14Speaker 3: Out of her. We did it with Peppa for my daughter.
- 15:16Speaker 2: But because Dora is Mexican.
- 15:19Speaker 3: You could probably do it.
- 15:20Speaker 2: You could probably do it.
- 15:22Speaker 3: But anyway, it was a hot party and I was there.
- 15:25Speaker 3: And I look like father of the year. Because I
- 15:29Speaker 3: feel some parents just let their kids just go wild.
- 15:32Speaker 3: And I'm helicopter, they call it. But I'm only helicopter
- 15:36Speaker 3: because I don't want to talk to the other parents.
- 15:38Speaker 2: Oh, interesting.
- 15:38Speaker 3: So it's a great excuse to get away. You're like, oh,
- 15:41Speaker 3: my daughter's eating too many cake pops. Got to run.
- 15:43Speaker 2: I'm the opposite.
- 15:45Speaker 3: Really?
- 15:45Speaker 2: I love to talk to everybody and be social.
- 15:49Speaker 3: I know.
- 15:50Speaker 2: But what would happen is, The boys learned how to
- 15:54Speaker 2: swim really young. Like Peter taught them or I don't know.
- 15:57Speaker 2: They just figured it out. But Brandon was so little
- 16:02Speaker 2: and people would not believe that he could swim. And
- 16:05Speaker 2: he could go under and stay under for a long time.
- 16:08Speaker 2: And I was at a party, like a nice party,
- 16:10Speaker 2: where the kids were swimming and the adults were like
- 16:12Speaker 2: wearing cute outfits. And someone jumped in.
- 16:16Speaker 3: Oh, to save?
- 16:16Speaker 2: To save Brandon.
- 16:18Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 16:18Speaker 2: And I was just sitting having a Chardonnay. I was like,
- 16:20Speaker 2: he can hold his breath.
- 16:22Speaker 3: Yeah, my daughter's the same thing. She's a good swimmer,
- 16:25Speaker 3: but she looks like she's drowning because she comes up
- 16:28Speaker 3: and then goes back. It's always terrifying.
- 16:35Speaker 2: I know you see a lot of this, but I
- 16:36Speaker 2: just didn't know if you saw this.
- 16:37Speaker 3: There it is. There it is.
- 16:39Speaker 2: This is in El Oro, Texas. They put a big
- 16:43Speaker 2: sign up in the city.
- 16:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 16:44Speaker 2: You're choosing to hurt your family by being the only
- 16:47Speaker 2: Android user. And I know you get a lot of,
- 16:50Speaker 2: I don't like this. I believe in being inclusive.
- 16:54Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 16:55Speaker 3: Not everybody.
- 16:56Speaker 2: Even though people accuse me of a lot of things
- 16:58Speaker 2: that are not about being inclusive, I feel like your
- 17:02Speaker 2: choice- of iPhone or, well, they don't call it an
- 17:06Speaker 2: iPhone when it's an Android, but cellular mobile device is
- 17:12Speaker 2: your right as a human being, regardless of your sexual orientation,
- 17:19Speaker 2: how much money you have. I don't care that it
- 17:22Speaker 2: comes up a different color.
- 17:23Speaker 3: I didn't even know that until someone had told, I
- 17:26Speaker 3: get shamed more for this phone than anything. And you
- 17:29Speaker 3: could shame me for many things. But this phone, I
- 17:32Speaker 3: get shamed for. Well, I'm not. I think it's mean.
- 17:34Speaker 3: I appreciate that.
- 17:35Speaker 2: I think it's really mean. And I just want people
- 17:37Speaker 2: to know I'm an ally of Android users. Thank you.
- 17:40Speaker 3: That's very nice of you.
- 17:41Speaker 2: I don't identify as an Android. I don't have any
- 17:43Speaker 2: Android users in my family.
- 17:45Speaker 3: You don't?
- 17:46Speaker 5: No.
- 17:46Speaker 2: But I believe that you have rights.
- 17:49Speaker 3: Can I tell you why I'm an Android user? And this,
- 17:52Speaker 3: sorry to bore everybody, but I originally started out many
- 17:55Speaker 3: years ago on T-Mobile. Back when that was frowned upon,
- 17:58Speaker 3: T-Mobile used to be like the you know, cricket wireless.
- 18:02Speaker 2: Okay.
- 18:02Speaker 3: It was, it was, it was the, like the poor
- 18:04Speaker 3: people one.
- 18:05Speaker 2: Okay.
- 18:05Speaker 3: But I went over to T-Mobile, got myself a phone.
- 18:08Speaker 3: They didn't have iPhones at the time, T-Mobile. They do now.
- 18:11Speaker 4: Yes.
- 18:11Speaker 3: So they gave me a Samsung Galaxy and I proudly
- 18:14Speaker 3: used it, not knowing that it was frowned upon. Then
- 18:17Speaker 3: it started to.
- 18:17Speaker 2: How do you feel like, A, I would not want
- 18:20Speaker 2: to learn anything new myself.
- 18:22Speaker 3: That's why I don't want to go. Yeah. Because everything
- 18:24Speaker 3: just goes over. You move on to the next one,
- 18:26Speaker 3: it goes over easily.
- 18:27Speaker 2: I mean, are you going to give into peer pressure
- 18:29Speaker 2: as a man in your 50s? No. No.
- 18:31Speaker 3: No, absolutely not. But anyway, I enjoy it.
- 18:34Speaker 2: Chris, I saved this topic for you.
- 18:35Speaker 3: Just watched.
- 18:36Speaker 2: I could have talked about it yesterday. Chose not to.
- 18:38Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 18:39Speaker 1: Okay?
- 18:39Speaker 3: Thank you. Because I got.
- 18:41Speaker 2: And just like that, we had the season finale of
- 18:46Speaker 2: the second season.
- 18:48Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 18:49Speaker 2: Let's just go through the episode. Let's go through the season.
- 18:52Speaker 2: We haven't talked about in a while. Let's just go
- 18:53Speaker 2: through each character. And then we kind of discuss it
- 18:56Speaker 2: that way. If you're not watching it, you're going to
- 18:58Speaker 2: still enjoy this discussion.
- 18:59Speaker 3: I'll quickly say this.
- 19:00Speaker 4: Yes.
- 19:00Speaker 3: I believe there's too many characters now.
- 19:02Speaker 2: A hundred percent.
- 19:03Speaker 3: They need to cut a few.
- 19:04Speaker 2: Way too many characters.
- 19:06Speaker 3: They were picked up a season three. So there will
- 19:07Speaker 3: be a season three. And there's just, they have to,
- 19:10Speaker 3: I feel like they're rushing everything. Like, you know, the
- 19:14Speaker 3: director shows up. We'll get to that in a second. Um, And,
- 19:18Speaker 3: you know, next thing you know, they're in love. It
- 19:20Speaker 3: was like literally.
- 19:21Speaker 2: 10 minutes of the episode. So you guys, there's a
- 19:23Speaker 2: character that is Carrie's new friend and she's a realtor
- 19:28Speaker 2: and she is Samantha 2.0. Like she's never been married,
- 19:34Speaker 2: no kids, doesn't necessarily want to be sexy, powerful, all
- 19:38Speaker 2: this stuff.
- 19:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 19:38Speaker 2: She gets a client who's a director and exactly that.
- 19:42Speaker 2: All of a sudden she says, I'm in love. He's like,
- 19:45Speaker 2: I'm in love with you. I have to go.
- 19:47Speaker 3: Film this movie. This all happens within like three minutes.
- 19:49Speaker 2: Of that meeting. yeah why don't you come drop everything
- 19:52Speaker 2: because I have to go to Morocco or whatever for
- 19:55Speaker 2: five months won't you come with me yeah that was
- 19:58Speaker 2: very bizarre and it felt I mean there's so many
- 20:00Speaker 2: things that are like exactly the same even we have
- 20:03Speaker 2: the big moment with Samantha calling in which she allegedly
- 20:06Speaker 2: got paid a million dollars for good for her And
- 20:09Speaker 2: she calls in the car. And she's like, hi, darling.
- 20:13Speaker 3: It's me.
- 20:14Speaker 2: I am so upset. I can't come to your party
- 20:18Speaker 2: tonight to say goodbye to your apartment. And she's like, oh,
- 20:21Speaker 2: I didn't know you were coming, lady. Or London. And
- 20:26Speaker 2: she's like, well, of course I would. I wasn't going
- 20:28Speaker 2: to miss this moment. I'm like, first of all, you
- 20:31Speaker 2: already said goodbye to to the apartment when you showed
- 20:35Speaker 2: up with the two bottles of champagne to clean out
- 20:37Speaker 2: her closet before she married Big. We already said goodbye
- 20:41Speaker 2: to it. Then she bought it back in the movie
- 20:45Speaker 2: and then kept it as like whatever, a workspace. Like,
- 20:48Speaker 2: why would you have to say goodbye to, like, it's
- 20:50Speaker 2: so stupid.
- 20:50Speaker 3: I feel like who's ever writing this show now.
- 20:52Speaker 2: Is so lazy.
- 20:53Speaker 3: Didn't look back at any of the, because you talked
- 20:55Speaker 3: about it, like, there was a guy who was dead
- 20:56Speaker 3: that's now back alive. Yeah.
- 20:59Speaker 2: See, the realtor had the same storyline as Samantha when
- 21:02Speaker 2: her bag got stolen, her purse, exact same storyline. Samantha
- 21:06Speaker 2: had a storyline with the Richard guy where she said,
- 21:09Speaker 2: I love you. And then she got paranoid that he's cheating.
- 21:11Speaker 2: I mean, it's very lazy writing. But then we have
- 21:15Speaker 2: the new stuff. Right. in the post 2020 world of this, the,
- 21:22Speaker 2: you know, we have to really know about the sexuality.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Like we really have to know.
- 21:25Speaker 3: Oh, it was a lot. About. Well, the funny thing is,
- 21:28Speaker 3: here's what I find. Like it's, I don't hate it.
- 21:31Speaker 3: So you watch it.
- 21:32Speaker 2: No, I'll never stop watching it.
- 21:33Speaker 3: There are parts that are good. And then something absolutely ridiculous.
- 21:36Speaker 3: I'd be like, oh my God, this is so cheesy.
- 21:39Speaker 3: Like they have to beat you over the head with everything.
- 21:42Speaker 2: Like how long and boring and unnecessary is, was the
- 21:46Speaker 2: character of the professor, Naya, getting the guy, the older professor,
- 21:51Speaker 2: coming in and giving her the award. Literally a six-minute scene.
- 21:55Speaker 2: Who cares?
- 21:56Speaker 3: See, I also think that these people, that guy who
- 21:59Speaker 3: gave her the award, he must be somebody that I'm
- 22:01Speaker 3: supposed to know.
- 22:02Speaker 2: Like a famous actor?
- 22:03Speaker 3: Yeah, famous actor or famous professor. I feel like Michael
- 22:06Speaker 3: Patrick King or Sarah Jessica Parker, They must owe people
- 22:09Speaker 3: favors because there's some bad acting from like the smaller parts.
- 22:13Speaker 2: Even from the big parts.
- 22:14Speaker 3: I know. Okay.
- 22:15Speaker 2: So let's then get into other things that don't make sense.
- 22:19Speaker 2: Steve decides he went to Coney Island one day and
- 22:23Speaker 2: he's like, oh, I'm going to make this little Coney
- 22:27Speaker 2: Island hot dog stand a real gourmet cool place or
- 22:31Speaker 2: it's going to be hip and cool.
- 22:33Speaker 3: Meanwhile, when.
- 22:34Speaker 2: When Carrie and Aiden visit him, they're like, wow, it
- 22:37Speaker 2: took three trains to get here. This is a horrible
- 22:40Speaker 2: business idea. Who, like, no chic person is going to be, like,
- 22:44Speaker 2: coming down there. It's just going to be, hey, let
- 22:46Speaker 2: me have a hot dog. Or it doesn't matter if
- 22:48Speaker 2: you make it cool, if you make it. And I
- 22:50Speaker 2: guess he's not deaf anymore, so that's nice.
- 22:52Speaker 3: No, that went out the window.
- 22:53Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 22:54Speaker 3: Because that was a big storyline that he couldn't hear anything.
- 22:58Speaker 2: The car is beautiful. Where did you end up going
- 23:01Speaker 2: for it?
- 23:02Speaker 1: This exclusive place that Dada's connections with. they have more
- 23:05Speaker 1: cars for more dealerships than, like, anywhere else.
- 23:07Speaker 2: You have to put me in touch.
- 23:08Speaker 5: What's it called?
- 23:09Speaker 2: It's Dunaidial.
- 23:11Speaker 3: Where?
- 23:13Speaker 2: Dunaidial. There's an accent on the E. Do you mean... Yes,
- 23:18Speaker 2: I got it on Dundale Cars.
- 23:19Speaker 5: Lift?
- 23:20Speaker 2: Please. Are you going past Kimmage? Oh, Kimmage.
- 23:23Speaker 5: No.
- 23:25Speaker 2: Dundale Cars. You couldn't possibly go anywhere else.
- 23:28Speaker 3: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next.
- 23:31Speaker 5: Each week on the show, I sit down with extraordinary
- 23:34Speaker 5: people who have faced tremendous setbacks and yet somehow have
- 23:39Speaker 5: found a way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 23:42Speaker 3: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 23:45Speaker 4: I'm heading to the Emmys and I have police complaints
- 23:47Speaker 4: filed against me.
- 23:48Speaker 3: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 23:50Speaker 3: what would you do if it was given back?
- 23:53Speaker 5: Where did that need come from where you thought that
- 23:56Speaker 5: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 23:58Speaker 3: He said, I have a work dad.
- 23:59Speaker 5: I need a home dad.
- 24:00Speaker 3: What happens next? When I came in, he started crying.
- 24:03Speaker 3: Everybody in life encounters hardships.
- 24:05Speaker 5: What defines them is not those hard moments that they
- 24:09Speaker 5: go through.
- 24:10Speaker 3: It's about what happens next.
- 24:11Speaker 2: I decided to risk it all. I realized how valuable
- 24:14Speaker 2: every day was. You're worth the work. Listen, Dara, I'm
- 24:17Speaker 2: not going to pull punches. You can use your voice
- 24:19Speaker 2: even if it shakes.
- 24:20Speaker 5: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 24:23Speaker 5: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 24:34Speaker 2: Well, you know we have to.
- 24:36Speaker 3: Well, he did speak Spanish in this episode because he
- 24:39Speaker 3: was talking to the guy who was working at his restaurant.
- 24:41Speaker 2: And isn't that a funny joke when someone tries to
- 24:43Speaker 2: speak Spanish and then the Spanish.
- 24:45Speaker 3: Person is speaking. Yeah. He goes, como esta? You know. Wait,
- 24:49Speaker 3: let's do it.
- 24:49Speaker 2: Because I'm going to show up as Miranda. And we're
- 24:51Speaker 2: going to improv the scene.
- 24:53Speaker 3: Because he's really.
- 24:53Speaker 2: It doesn't have to be exactly the same.
- 24:55Speaker 3: We can talk about anything. It's getting even worse this year. Okay,
- 24:57Speaker 3: keep doing.
- 24:58Speaker 2: Go.
- 24:58Speaker 3: Because now he's like slurring too. He's like, that's his. That's.
- 25:03Speaker 6: I think we made the right decision here because it's
- 25:05Speaker 6: the best thing for me.
- 25:10Speaker 2: Steve, I don't know. I've been through a lot. I mean,
- 25:17Speaker 2: when I met you, I was Harvard educated and I
- 25:20Speaker 2: was a professor. Not a professor. I was Harvard educated
- 25:23Speaker 2: and I was a partner of a law firm. But
- 25:27Speaker 2: I just want to throw that all away and I
- 25:29Speaker 2: want to be an intern at the U.N., And have
- 25:32Speaker 2: a roommate.
- 25:33Speaker 4: Yeah, I can't.
- 25:35Speaker 6: I can't go down that roller coaster again. You know,
- 25:38Speaker 6: it's just like it's everything. You're going to go back
- 25:41Speaker 6: to being lesbian and straight. I can't do it.
- 25:43Speaker 4: I got this.
- 25:45Speaker 3: I'm selling beers at Coney Island here.
- 25:48Speaker 2: See, I can't have a beer. I'm also an alcoholic, remember?
- 25:52Speaker 3: No, but that went out the window.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Whatever happens with Brady. And I'm upset that Brady's not
- 25:57Speaker 2: going to college, that he's going to work. At the
- 26:00Speaker 2: Coney Island stand while screwing Charlotte's adopted daughter, Lily.
- 26:06Speaker 4: How many more times can our weird-looking son pop up
- 26:08Speaker 4: behind us?
- 26:12Speaker 3: He's like the clown in It. He just keeps popping
- 26:14Speaker 3: up behind them.
- 26:19Speaker 2: Okay, so they have the party. She's having her goodbye
- 26:22Speaker 2: party with the Michelin star chef, which, of course, why
- 26:26Speaker 2: would she invite Bobby Lee in? And the girl, his
- 26:29Speaker 2: girlfriend or wife, that ruined her Met Ball dress.
- 26:32Speaker 3: I know.
- 26:32Speaker 2: You think you're still going to hang out with those
- 26:34Speaker 2: people and let them sit at your dinner where it's
- 26:38Speaker 2: $ 600 a plate?
- 26:38Speaker 3: And have like our own like a scene where they
- 26:40Speaker 3: had to all do a word or whatever.
- 26:41Speaker 2: Yeah, like, hey, Storm, what do you think? And he's like, oh,
- 26:44Speaker 2: I want to get rid of Storm. It's just, I
- 26:48Speaker 2: don't know why they're there. It's like literally if you
- 26:50Speaker 2: were going to have a dinner party and you're like,
- 26:52Speaker 2: I want to put together an eclectic group. Because I
- 26:55Speaker 2: am an older white woman and I have no eclectic friends. Right.
- 26:58Speaker 2: So I'm going to put 12 people together, seven of
- 27:01Speaker 2: which I have nothing in common with. Right. Like, it's just.
- 27:07Speaker 3: And then, of course, I mean, the whole thing with,
- 27:11Speaker 3: you know, the anal sex. Wow. Wow. Wow. But it was,
- 27:16Speaker 3: I don't, I listen, I got it, but I got
- 27:19Speaker 3: it a lot. Like they, I was like, they beat
- 27:22Speaker 3: you over the head with that one.
- 27:24Speaker 2: I mean, I was like, Hey, you know, I mentioned
- 27:27Speaker 2: this before. I think, cause I've talked to so many
- 27:30Speaker 2: girls now that for many, many years, I thought men
- 27:36Speaker 2: could only have it from behind.
- 27:38Speaker 3: Right.
- 27:38Speaker 2: Okay. And I, for many, many years, I didn't know
- 27:43Speaker 2: that it was a top-bottom exclusive, and only some people,
- 27:47Speaker 2: or both, like how some people can write with both hands,
- 27:50Speaker 2: only a handful are ambidextrous or whatever. And that's only
- 27:55Speaker 2: a few. And I thought, oh, that's such a bummer.
- 27:57Speaker 2: Here you have the same parts. Shouldn't it be more
- 27:59Speaker 2: of a reciprocal situation? And I think gay men, and
- 28:06Speaker 2: gay men who are writing this movie, are annoyed that
- 28:09Speaker 2: they're dumb people. straight girlfriends don't understand that you can't
- 28:13Speaker 2: have face-to-face sex even though it's anal.
- 28:16Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 28:17Speaker 2: I didn't know that. Right. And when I've said that,
- 28:19Speaker 2: everyone's like, so many girls are like, no, they can't.
- 28:22Speaker 2: And I go, yeah, they can. Why do you think just,
- 28:25Speaker 2: it's literally this much space between the two.
- 28:27Speaker 3: But- Well, you saw it.
- 28:29Speaker 2: No, now, so then they had to show it. Yeah.
- 28:31Speaker 2: Because they're like, I'm so sick of these dumb girls.
- 28:33Speaker 2: We're going to show you.
- 28:34Speaker 3: There's a butthole right there.
- 28:35Speaker 2: Boop, boop, boop. Get in there. So show you. And
- 28:38Speaker 2: then the next was, let's have a big moment. And
- 28:41Speaker 2: then let's also see it. And then with all these
- 28:44Speaker 2: innuendos of penetration and impenetrable and control and sphincter. And
- 28:51Speaker 2: I'm like, oh my, like, but- I mean, it made
- 28:55Speaker 2: it interesting.
- 28:56Speaker 3: I don't care. Like, whatever. It's called Sex and the City.
- 29:00Speaker 2: You're right.
- 29:01Speaker 3: You've got to do it.
- 29:02Speaker 2: Well, it's called it just like that now. And then
- 29:04Speaker 2: I also feel that they're like, okay, because all these
- 29:06Speaker 2: people are, you know, mid-50s, pushing 60. We've got to
- 29:10Speaker 2: have these young characters, but they have nothing to do.
- 29:11Speaker 2: Like the girl who lives downstairs that bought the apartment. Yeah.
- 29:14Speaker 2: She's walking around. She literally even, even when it's scripted,
- 29:17Speaker 2: she has no one to talk to.
- 29:19Speaker 3: Yeah, I know.
- 29:20Speaker 2: And then she comes up to Che and she's like, Wow,
- 29:23Speaker 2: I loved your podcast. Well, listen, you can start another one.
- 29:26Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 29:27Speaker 2: It's like everyone else has one. Shouldn't be so hard.
- 29:31Speaker 2: And then she gets a non-binary person to go have
- 29:35Speaker 2: sex with at the end of the show. Like everyone
- 29:37Speaker 2: then ends up. And then finally, Miranda. gets a more
- 29:43Speaker 2: age appropriate lesbian match.
- 29:46Speaker 3: Was that what that was? Yes. They're leading up to that.
- 29:48Speaker 2: Yes.
- 29:49Speaker 3: I actually thoroughly enjoyed the woman with the dirty apartment
- 29:52Speaker 3: that she thought was going to be a great thing
- 29:54Speaker 3: and that she just has a dirty Because we've all
- 29:57Speaker 3: been down the road of shitty apartment.
- 29:58Speaker 2: Again, it was in Friends. I don't feel like it's
- 30:00Speaker 2: that original of a thing.
- 30:02Speaker 3: But it's still good. Yeah, but I enjoyed that.
- 30:04Speaker 2: That she was excited to really get her feet wet
- 30:07Speaker 2: and really run with the lesbian lifestyle.
- 30:09Speaker 3: And then she was like- Dirty cat box.
- 30:12Speaker 2: Yes. Okay, so now let's get to the juicy part. Aiden. If, okay,
- 30:19Speaker 2: this is what needs to happen next season.
- 30:21Speaker 3: Okay.
- 30:21Speaker 2: Listen up, writers who I know listen to my show.
- 30:24Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 30:26Speaker 2: Okay, so next season starts. Okay, this is what happens.
- 30:30Speaker 2: Aiden comes and his son, you know, got in an accident.
- 30:35Speaker 2: And he goes, my younger son is struggling. He's 14.
- 30:37Speaker 2: He had magic mushrooms and stuff in his system. He
- 30:41Speaker 2: hitched back because that's what teenagers do is they hitchhike
- 30:45Speaker 2: in 2023. Not I got a Lyft or an Uber
- 30:48Speaker 2: or whatever. Then got to the dad's house, took his car, truck.
- 30:52Speaker 2: Which he doesn't know how to drive because he's 14.
- 30:54Speaker 3: Right.
- 30:54Speaker 2: Gets in a car accident and like breaks his leg
- 30:56Speaker 2: or whatever. And she's like, it's okay, Aiden. He'll be better.
- 30:59Speaker 2: You know, brakes heal. So Aiden comes. Now, after this
- 31:03Speaker 2: whole time of refusing to go in the old apartment
- 31:07Speaker 2: because that's where she cheated on him with Big.
- 31:10Speaker 3: Right.
- 31:11Speaker 2: He says, sure, I'll come after I've missed the meal
- 31:13Speaker 2: and everything. He walks right in. Now it's okay that
- 31:15Speaker 2: I'm here.
- 31:16Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 31:17Speaker 2: Okay, after us going to hotels, having to sleep and
- 31:20Speaker 2: pretend that we're cousins or something of Shea Diaz at
- 31:24Speaker 2: her Airbnb, fine, we'll come back. And then Aiden goes, hey,
- 31:31Speaker 2: I got to be with my younger son so I
- 31:33Speaker 2: can no longer date you, be with you. There's never
- 31:36Speaker 2: a weekend in the future until he turns 20. So
- 31:39Speaker 2: I'm going to see you in five years when he's 20.
- 31:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 31:43Speaker 2: Oh, you can't come next week when he's at his mother's? No,
- 31:47Speaker 2: he just needs me, Carrie. And they show her having
- 31:51Speaker 2: sex like they never did in any of the Sex
- 31:53Speaker 2: and the City. We see Carrie like.
- 31:55Speaker 3: See some thigh.
- 31:56Speaker 2: Really like getting it. Okay. And then, bye. And he goes,
- 32:00Speaker 2: five years. Five years, you're going to be 65 years old.
- 32:03Speaker 3: Right.
- 32:03Speaker 2: Like, you're just going to waste those five years. Anyway,
- 32:06Speaker 2: what we need to see is we come back next season.
- 32:10Speaker 3: Right.
- 32:11Speaker 2: And a couple episodes in, we don't really hear about Aiden.
- 32:14Speaker 2: She's trying to date other people. And then one of
- 32:17Speaker 2: these 29 new characters are like, oh, my son plays
- 32:21Speaker 2: soccer or whatever, played against whatever Aiden's last name is.
- 32:26Speaker 2: And this kid was on it. And she's like, oh,
- 32:30Speaker 2: you must be mistaken. Aiden's son is going through physical
- 32:33Speaker 2: therapy from breaking his leg last season. And they're like, no,
- 32:37Speaker 2: he's the star soccer player. And she realizes all a lie.
- 32:44Speaker 2: And he was like, I'm going to come back.
- 32:47Speaker 3: And fuck you over.
- 32:47Speaker 2: And fuck you over. You're going to fall in love
- 32:50Speaker 2: with me. You're going to sell your apartment. You're going
- 32:52Speaker 2: to buy another house that you don't need. And then
- 32:54Speaker 2: I'm going to come back and be like, see you
- 32:56Speaker 2: in five years. Because you fucking did that to me.
- 32:58Speaker 2: Cheated on me.
- 32:59Speaker 3: Wow. Yeah.
- 33:01Speaker 2: Because I felt it felt very fake.
- 33:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 33:04Speaker 2: If they have not thought about it, you can take it.
- 33:07Speaker 2: Because the whole thing, they felt like they had no chemistry.
- 33:10Speaker 2: And it felt like he was so... acting like he
- 33:13Speaker 2: was so into her.
- 33:14Speaker 3: Right.
- 33:15Speaker 2: And he like sucked her in.
- 33:17Speaker 3: And then, but it was, yeah, it was once again,
- 33:21Speaker 3: it all felt rushed. And I feel like it's a
- 33:23Speaker 3: rush because they have to put nine plot lines in
- 33:26Speaker 3: each episode that they have to rush.
- 33:29Speaker 2: The professor has to sleep with the chef.
- 33:32Speaker 3: Yeah. There was a, there was a weird, there was
- 33:33Speaker 3: another guy in the bed with her for a while.
- 33:35Speaker 3: She told to get out because her ex-husband, I.
- 33:38Speaker 2: Think, I think Naya has got to go. I'm sorry,
- 33:41Speaker 2: there's just nothing interesting about that storyline. There's nothing. And
- 33:45Speaker 2: I even think the pretty girl, what's her name? The
- 33:48Speaker 2: pretty couple that is rich and has the kids. What's
- 33:53Speaker 2: her name? Parker or whatever. Nicole Parker.
- 33:55Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 33:56Speaker 2: Boring. So boring. Even when she's like, oh, that was
- 33:59Speaker 2: my line. That was my word. She has no connection
- 34:01Speaker 2: with anybody.
- 34:02Speaker 3: I like the guy, the husband from Hamilton.
- 34:04Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 34:05Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 34:05Speaker 2: I like him, but there's nothing to them.
- 34:07Speaker 3: Yeah, I know. I agree. I agree. I'll tell you
- 34:10Speaker 3: who you lose.
- 34:10Speaker 1: What?
- 34:11Speaker 3: Is you lose Mario Cantone. Too much.
- 34:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 34:17Speaker 3: I find he's kind of a bad actor. It's too sticky.
- 34:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 34:21Speaker 3: It's too sticky. And, you know, sometimes I'm watching and
- 34:25Speaker 3: I'm like, this is good. It's getting good. And then
- 34:27Speaker 3: I like Mario Cantone. I like him like on talk
- 34:29Speaker 3: shows and stuff.
- 34:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 34:30Speaker 3: Then he comes on. I'm like, oh, he's going to
- 34:32Speaker 3: do his bits. Right. Here we go. And then.
- 34:37Speaker 2: Next season also, let's do all the predictions. So that's
- 34:39Speaker 2: going to happen. We're going to find out the kid
- 34:41Speaker 2: never broke his leg.
- 34:42Speaker 3: That's a good one.
- 34:43Speaker 2: Or that he recovered and he's doing great.
- 34:45Speaker 3: Right.
- 34:46Speaker 2: And why hasn't Aiden come around? Or Aiden's acting like,
- 34:49Speaker 2: you know, and was it like, oh my God, did
- 34:52Speaker 2: he really do this just to be like?
- 34:53Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 34:54Speaker 2: And then I think that there, and we'll have children
- 34:58Speaker 2: and other people in the meantime, Charlotte is going to
- 35:04Speaker 2: dance with the idea of like dating someone. Or have
- 35:08Speaker 2: an affair. Either someone's going to come after her or
- 35:10Speaker 2: something's going to happen with that older guy at the
- 35:14Speaker 2: museum or whatever she works at.
- 35:16Speaker 4: Oh, right.
- 35:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:17Speaker 3: Okay.
- 35:17Speaker 2: So she's going to have a little dalliance with cheating
- 35:20Speaker 2: because they have such a solid marriage. Miranda's character is
- 35:25Speaker 2: so– I don't know what we're going to do with her.
- 35:27Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 35:29Speaker 2: Just some lesbian love.
- 35:30Speaker 3: Okay.
- 35:31Speaker 2: Then Che, I don't think is going to leave.
- 35:35Speaker 3: You think she's still going to be involved? I think
- 35:37Speaker 3: she's like, are she done?
- 35:39Speaker 2: I kind of think she might still be involved, but
- 35:40Speaker 2: she should be done. They should get rid of Che.
- 35:43Speaker 2: They should just get rid of Che.
- 35:44Speaker 3: I kind of feel like you say on the podcast
- 35:47Speaker 3: all the time. I kind of like her.
- 35:48Speaker 2: I know.
- 35:48Speaker 3: She kind of started to grow on you.
- 35:50Speaker 2: She kind of grows on me now. I kind of
- 35:52Speaker 2: like her storyline because I'm like, how are they going
- 35:54Speaker 2: to humiliate comedians and podcasters in the scripts? I kind
- 35:58Speaker 2: of want to see what they want to come up with.
- 36:00Speaker 3: And just if we don't have to watch her do
- 36:01Speaker 3: stand-up anymore, it would be great. We'll just talk about it.
- 36:05Speaker 3: We don't have to be in the club anymore because
- 36:07Speaker 3: it's painful as a comedian to watch. But what did
- 36:11Speaker 3: she do?
- 36:11Speaker 2: Did she still just become like, you know, like her
- 36:15Speaker 2: whole life is over just because she's a pilot?
- 36:17Speaker 3: I mean, the funny thing to me was she faded fast. Like,
- 36:19Speaker 3: the last thing she could walk down the street, people
- 36:22Speaker 3: going crazy for her. Two episodes later, she's working at
- 36:24Speaker 3: a pet store.
- 36:25Speaker 2: And then also it's kind of rude when the girl goes,
- 36:28Speaker 2: I'm a huge Shae Diaz fan. I'm a huge fan
- 36:31Speaker 2: of yours. Is anything... else coming up any stand-up specials
- 36:34Speaker 2: or anything and she goes um i'll tell you because
- 36:37Speaker 2: i'm probably never gonna see you again yeah that's kind
- 36:40Speaker 2: of rude you're at a dinner party with 12 people
- 36:42Speaker 2: right right now she's like i'm transitioning and she's like
- 36:45Speaker 2: oh great no i'm transitioning into yeah whatever a better
- 36:48Speaker 2: person or yeah so now i'm gonna screw a 20
- 36:52Speaker 2: year old girl that with a shaved head.
- 36:54Speaker 3: Yeah i don't know um they packed.
- 36:56Speaker 2: It does does samantha come back.
- 37:00Speaker 3: Well, after I watched that, you know, the little scene,
- 37:02Speaker 3: I definitely thought yes.
- 37:04Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 37:04Speaker 3: I definitely thought, yeah, whatever beef they have, they're going
- 37:06Speaker 3: to work it out. And she's going to come back
- 37:09Speaker 3: for at least more time than this. Whether she comes back.
- 37:12Speaker 2: If I was the realtor girl, the actress.
- 37:16Speaker 3: You'd be like, I'm done.
- 37:17Speaker 2: Shaking in my boots. I would be like, find me
- 37:20Speaker 2: another role. The chances are I'm not going to be around.
- 37:24Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:24Speaker 2: But I would keep her and I would have them.
- 37:29Speaker 2: have a jealousy friendship about Carrie. Because they're both much
- 37:34Speaker 2: better friends to Carrie than Carrie is to them. And
- 37:37Speaker 2: now the audience has gone back and realized that Carrie's
- 37:40Speaker 2: character is actually kind of a shitty, selfish friend. And
- 37:44Speaker 2: even when Carrie was like, I'm sorry, Miranda. Che Diaz
- 37:48Speaker 2: and Steve are my friends. So sorry they're coming to
- 37:51Speaker 2: the dinner party and deal with it.
- 37:54Speaker 3: But Steve didn't come.
- 37:56Speaker 2: No, he didn't come.
- 37:57Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:58Speaker 3: He must have been working on his other show.
- 37:59Speaker 2: Oh, but you know what I did just realize? She
- 38:01Speaker 2: did know Che first, so Miranda does have to suck
- 38:03Speaker 2: it up.
- 38:04Speaker 3: Okay.
- 38:05Speaker 2: But I kind of like a little bit of that.
- 38:06Speaker 2: So I would actually like Miranda to stay in the
- 38:08Speaker 2: realtor's stay. Get rid of Nia. Get rid of, I'm sorry,
- 38:13Speaker 2: the Parker girl, Nicole Parker, and her story. It's just
- 38:16Speaker 2: as pretty as she is and as good as her
- 38:18Speaker 2: clothes are, there's nothing.
- 38:19Speaker 4: Right.
- 38:20Speaker 2: And, yeah, that's how it saved the show.
- 38:25Speaker 3: Do, because there's so much talk, you know, I feel
- 38:28Speaker 3: like they got everything in. If it was a hot
- 38:29Speaker 3: topic in the news, they got it. Whether it be,
- 38:32Speaker 3: you know, Binary, Nava, everybody's in. Everybody's in. Do season three,
- 38:37Speaker 3: do they introduce an alien? Because now everybody's talking about them.
- 38:41Speaker 3: They're here.
- 38:42Speaker 5: Do they?
- 38:43Speaker 3: That would be the greatest. I got it in the butt.
- 38:51Speaker 2: I met the greatest alien yesterday. Oh, he's tall. He's slick.
- 38:56Speaker 2: Haven't you ever had sex with an alien? They have
- 38:59Speaker 2: two penises.
- 39:02Speaker 3: I'll have a Cosmo, please. You can steal that idea, too.
- 39:09Speaker 2: Let me tell you something. Inclusivity, when it comes with
- 39:12Speaker 2: two penises, is my kind of party.
- 39:16Speaker 3: I mean, I would watch.
- 39:17Speaker 2: Oh, we got to have an alien come.
- 39:19Speaker 3: Yeah, alien.
- 39:20Speaker 1: And.
- 39:22Speaker 2: And then, yeah, then Charlotte's like, hey, it's, you know, oh,
- 39:27Speaker 2: you're not coming to lunch?
- 39:28Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 39:29Speaker 2: Oh, honey, I would. be the bop. And she's like, well,
- 39:37Speaker 2: I mean, Samantha, I was happy that you came back
- 39:39Speaker 2: from London, but I mean, you're so involved with your
- 39:43Speaker 2: new friends. Honey, you fired me from being your publicist.
- 39:47Speaker 2: This alien has a hot book coming and the hottest podcast.
- 39:52Speaker 2: And you know what? It's not just worldwide. It's universal.
- 39:55Speaker 3: Get it?
- 39:56Speaker 2: Because he's an alien.
- 39:57Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah. I got it.
- 39:57Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 39:58Speaker 3: Very good. Cannot wait. Cannot wait for it.
- 40:01Speaker 4: I'm not going to Brooklyn to watch fucking stand-up again.
- 40:05Speaker 3: I can go on all day with the alien and
- 40:11Speaker 3: sex in the city. And then Brooklyn.
- 40:13Speaker 2: Then Miranda wants to make sure she doesn't offend the alien.
- 40:16Speaker 3: Oh, that's right. She's going to stumble over herself.
- 40:18Speaker 2: Okay, so you're the alien coming to lunch.
- 40:22Speaker 3: Sorry I'm late, girls.
- 40:26Speaker 2: I'm so excited to meet you because I've been interning
- 40:31Speaker 2: at the UN and we're working on aliens from different countries.
- 40:38Speaker 2: But I know that's offensive now because you're actually– And
- 40:44Speaker 2: I want to make sure that I call you the
- 40:46Speaker 2: right thing that you are.
- 40:47Speaker 3: You're doing fine. Don't worry about it.
- 40:52Speaker 2: I think it's just really fun. It's really great. I
- 40:58Speaker 2: want to learn more about your culture. Do you like dates?
- 41:02Speaker 3: Yes, I do. Oh, my God.
- 41:07Speaker 2: Okay, let's move on here. A lot of people really
- 41:10Speaker 2: weren't watching it. So I hope they enjoyed that segment.
- 41:12Speaker 3: I know. Wow.
- 41:13Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 41:13Speaker 2: I feel like a lot of people stopped watching it
- 41:15Speaker 2: this season. My sister stopped watching.
- 41:18Speaker 3: It's funny because I went to a party a few
- 41:20Speaker 3: weeks ago with the girl who runs like Max.
- 41:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 41:23Speaker 3: And that's her show.
- 41:24Speaker 2: Right, right.
- 41:25Speaker 3: And she was like, the ratings are huge.
- 41:28Speaker 1: Yes. Like worldwide.
- 41:29Speaker 3: So she's like, because I asked her, I said, is
- 41:30Speaker 3: there going to be a season three? She's like, we
- 41:32Speaker 3: will do it until they're dead on the street.
- 41:36Speaker 2: I will never stop watching.
- 41:38Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 41:38Speaker 2: No matter what.
- 41:39Speaker 3: Yeah, me too.
- 41:41Speaker 2: And, but I was, you know, my sister Shannon, she
- 41:45Speaker 2: stopped watching this season. She said, I stopped watching when
- 41:50Speaker 2: she and her daughter and Miranda couldn't figure out the
- 41:53Speaker 2: strap on. Yeah. And she was talking to Carrie like
- 41:56Speaker 2: she was putting together an Ikea furniture set on the speakerphone. Like,
- 42:01Speaker 2: I'm just trying to get the strap on for, oh gosh,
- 42:04Speaker 2: you two crazy girls.
- 42:05Speaker 3: Like, it was like, Yeah. Really?
- 42:07Speaker 2: You're literally trying on the strap on while you're taking
- 42:10Speaker 2: a call from your friend. Anyway, that's when Shannon said,
- 42:12Speaker 2: I'm out.
- 42:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 42:14Speaker 2: But what was the funniest thing was me catching her up.
- 42:18Speaker 2: And it just sounds, it does sound so ridiculous when
- 42:22Speaker 2: I'm like, and then, you know, Charlotte's daughter wants to
- 42:26Speaker 2: have sex, but there's a cyclone and she didn't get condoms.
- 42:30Speaker 2: So she's YouTubing how to have her boyfriend pull out.
- 42:33Speaker 2: But then Charlotte goes in the cyclone and gets the condoms.
- 42:36Speaker 2: And then her daughter is now non-binary and goes by they,
- 42:40Speaker 2: them and is Rock. But Rock gets a modeling gig.
- 42:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 42:45Speaker 2: And then, you know, and then Harry wears a wig.
- 42:48Speaker 3: Oh, that was painful when he was going to be
- 42:51Speaker 3: some cool skateboarder guy with the wig on sneaking into
- 42:54Speaker 3: the photo shoot. I'm like, what is happening? Like, am
- 42:57Speaker 3: I supposed to be laughing at this?
- 42:59Speaker 2: I think what's good is that we're never going to
- 43:02Speaker 2: stop watching and it's not good. It is bad. It
- 43:05Speaker 2: is corny. It is trying too hard. But then there's
- 43:08Speaker 2: just glimmers. There's just sometimes a moment or there where
- 43:11Speaker 2: you're like, that was a really real scene.
- 43:12Speaker 1: Right.
- 43:13Speaker 2: That was actually really good. Ooh, that was kind of interesting.
- 43:16Speaker 2: There's just enough that keeps you going.
- 43:18Speaker 3: I thought John Corbett still looked pretty good. I mean,
- 43:21Speaker 3: whatever he's doing.
- 43:22Speaker 2: I mean, the jacket was the worst when he looked
- 43:24Speaker 2: like Mike Myers, but everything else. Oh, and the other
- 43:27Speaker 2: thing is, you ever seen where they set the tone
- 43:30Speaker 2: for Carrie to have dementia?
- 43:31Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 43:34Speaker 1: Yes.
- 43:35Speaker 2: So the first season, she was like, what? You want
- 43:38Speaker 2: me to have coffee? But I'm like, no, she's just
- 43:41Speaker 2: in grief. But then they're like, no, there were two
- 43:44Speaker 2: other times. Someone put it together on TikTok. Two other
- 43:47Speaker 2: times where literally her memory is failing her. She's like,
- 43:49Speaker 2: I don't remember. I said that. And then when she
- 43:53Speaker 2: goes to meet him, she goes to the wrong restaurant.
- 43:55Speaker 3: That's right.
- 43:56Speaker 2: But I don't think so.
- 43:58Speaker 3: Yeah, that would be a stretch.
- 44:01Speaker 2: Stunny claims more American men are being hospitalized for having
- 44:05Speaker 2: foreign objects stuck inside their rectum.
- 44:08Speaker 1: Wow.
- 44:08Speaker 2: I just thought this was a good story to do after.
- 44:10Speaker 3: Yeah, after a lot of rectum talk.
- 44:13Speaker 2: So anyway, it's true. They're saying they're getting an enormous
- 44:16Speaker 2: amount of men coming into hospitals all over the world.
- 44:19Speaker 3: Right.
- 44:19Speaker 2: That have stuffed, have put things up their butt. Wow.
- 44:23Speaker 2: So anything from little action figures to fruits and vegetables. Yeah.
- 44:29Speaker 3: Is that what it is?
- 44:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 44:30Speaker 3: Action figures?
- 44:31Speaker 2: Yeah. All different things they tried.
- 44:33Speaker 3: I mean, I've always heard the stories, you know. Yeah.
- 44:37Speaker 3: So I was in the emergency room when somebody came
- 44:40Speaker 3: in and blah, blah. But I've never, you know, I
- 44:42Speaker 3: don't know anybody who's gone through it.
- 44:44Speaker 2: I always remember that one of the urban myths was
- 44:46Speaker 2: that it was a doorknob. You know how like a
- 44:49Speaker 2: doorknob has like a handle like that?
- 44:51Speaker 3: Right.
- 44:51Speaker 2: Like a long handle. And a girl got the doorknob
- 44:55Speaker 2: stuck inside of her. So then they had to come
- 44:59Speaker 2: and take off the door and the doorknob and she
- 45:03Speaker 2: had to go to the hospital with it coming out.
- 45:06Speaker 3: How did she get the door?
- 45:09Speaker 2: I guess she went on top of the door.
- 45:11Speaker 3: To open it?
- 45:12Speaker 2: No, like to screw herself.
- 45:14Speaker 3: Oh, if you had no hands or something and she
- 45:16Speaker 3: was trying to open the door.
- 45:20Speaker 2: No arms. She had to open the door with her vagina. Maybe.
- 45:24Speaker 3: Oh, wow.
- 45:25Speaker 2: And then like all those type of stories of how
- 45:27Speaker 2: things had fallen in. Anyway, I think there's guys are
- 45:30Speaker 2: lonely and they're just doing what they can do.
- 45:34Speaker 3: Hey, listen, I'm on the road a lot. I'm alone
- 45:36Speaker 3: and I'm alone in hotels quite a bit. I never,
- 45:39Speaker 3: there's never been a point where I looked at little
- 45:41Speaker 3: Luke Skywalker doll and go, you know what? I'm going
- 45:43Speaker 3: to shove that right up my.
- 45:46Speaker 2: Then they said that this couple were trying, they were
- 45:51Speaker 2: in China and they were trying to have sex for four.
- 45:53Speaker 2: I mean, they were having sex for four years and
- 45:54Speaker 2: they couldn't get pregnant and their, their family was sad
- 45:57Speaker 2: and everything. So they went to the doctor and they're like,
- 46:00Speaker 2: what is the issue? So he checks her out and
- 46:04Speaker 2: she's a virgin and, And they were having anal sex
- 46:08Speaker 2: the whole time.
- 46:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 46:09Speaker 2: Which you cannot get pregnant that way.
- 46:11Speaker 3: Of course not.
- 46:12Speaker 2: And so then they told her what to do and
- 46:15Speaker 2: told him what to do.
- 46:16Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 46:17Speaker 2: And now they have a child. But I'm like, I mean,
- 46:22Speaker 2: both these stories, I'm like, okay, first of all, I
- 46:25Speaker 2: think COVID really fucked people up. I think we wanted
- 46:28Speaker 2: to go out.
- 46:29Speaker 3: Right.
- 46:29Speaker 2: I think they need to hang out with other humans
- 46:31Speaker 2: in person.
- 46:32Speaker 3: Right. I agree.
- 46:33Speaker 2: And have sex.
- 46:34Speaker 4: Yes.
- 46:34Speaker 2: And even video games, it used to be that someone
- 46:37Speaker 2: would play next to you. Right. Now you don't. You
- 46:41Speaker 2: play while they are in their other home. So even
- 46:44Speaker 2: these guys aren't even meeting people in person to play
- 46:48Speaker 2: the game.
- 46:49Speaker 3: I've been saying this on my podcast and beyond for
- 46:52Speaker 3: a long time. We killed hookup culture. We killed it
- 46:56Speaker 3: with slut shaming and whatever else. I think we killed
- 47:00Speaker 3: the fun time. We've talked about it many times. The
- 47:02Speaker 3: fun days of getting ready, having the cute top or whatever,
- 47:06Speaker 3: hitting the town, looking to hook up. It's gone. Completely gone.
- 47:11Speaker 2: I went out on Sunday night to a hot club
- 47:15Speaker 2: that I talked about on the show the other day.
- 47:17Speaker 3: What club?
- 47:18Speaker 2: Melrose Place, it's called. And it's really on Melrose Place,
- 47:21Speaker 2: and it was a rooftop situation.
- 47:23Speaker 3: Oh, boy.
- 47:24Speaker 2: And DJ, and no, people were flirting.
- 47:27Speaker 3: Oh, is that right?
- 47:28Speaker 2: People were flirting and hooking up.
- 47:29Speaker 3: Oh, I'm so happy to hear that.
- 47:30Speaker 2: And then, yeah.
- 47:32Speaker 3: Like good-looking people getting up on each other?
- 47:36Speaker 2: You know, I don't, a mix of people.
- 47:39Speaker 3: Okay.
- 47:40Speaker 2: I'm not into the look. I like a traditional look.
- 47:44Speaker 3: Uh-huh.
- 47:44Speaker 2: But I liked that it was a fun mix of people.
- 47:46Speaker 3: All right.
- 47:47Speaker 2: I don't know who I would have chosen. This one
- 47:49Speaker 2: guy that when I was coming down, because I'd come
- 47:50Speaker 2: down the stairs.
- 47:51Speaker 3: Right.
- 47:51Speaker 2: And he was like young and some type of accent.
- 47:55Speaker 2: He was 100% hitting on me.
- 47:57Speaker 3: Is that right?
- 47:58Speaker 2: Yes.
- 47:59Speaker 3: Wow. How'd that feel? Did you feel alive again?
- 48:01Speaker 2: I just felt like this guy obviously is looking for
- 48:05Speaker 2: a sugar mama and- And I had a blazer with
- 48:09Speaker 2: like a feathered cuff.
- 48:11Speaker 3: And I think that screams. That'll do it. All right.
- 48:15Speaker 2: But I was like, no, I'm leaving. And he's like, wait,
- 48:17Speaker 2: I want to talk to you. And I was like, no,
- 48:20Speaker 2: but that's what's out there. Speaking of crazy outfits. Okay.
- 48:24Speaker 2: So Kanye and his wife, I don't understand what this
- 48:28Speaker 2: is all about. She has to wear nylons with hideous
- 48:32Speaker 2: white pumps. And then she has to wear tan nylons
- 48:36Speaker 2: wrapped on her head. She has to wear this outfit.
- 48:39Speaker 2: And he's not allowed to wear shoes. And they're going
- 48:43Speaker 2: through Europe. And here she is again. They say that
- 48:46Speaker 2: she's going to get arrested for her indecent exposure where
- 48:50Speaker 2: she's just wearing a whole nylon suit. And I really
- 48:54Speaker 2: don't know what the goal is. And then he was on,
- 48:56Speaker 2: you know, like in Venice or whatever, one of those
- 48:58Speaker 2: little taxi boats. Yeah. And he had his full ass out.
- 49:04Speaker 3: Why was his full asset? Because he's being funny? I
- 49:07Speaker 3: think it.
- 49:07Speaker 2: Was on purpose.
- 49:08Speaker 5: Oh.
- 49:09Speaker 2: I don't know. What do you think is going on here?
- 49:12Speaker 3: I mean, this is just– isn't it just so people
- 49:15Speaker 3: take pictures of them, right? I mean, yeah, I think
- 49:17Speaker 3: that's the whole thing. This guy's like lost his mind. Right.
- 49:22Speaker 3: Or is it all just a ruse to get people
- 49:24Speaker 3: to take pictures of them?
- 49:25Speaker 2: I guess, but I don't see this like working out
- 49:29Speaker 2: well for either one of them. Nobody's like going, you
- 49:31Speaker 2: know what? I want to start wearing nylons all around
- 49:35Speaker 2: and no shoes. And I know like, It's not, I
- 49:39Speaker 2: don't know what it's doing. It's not.
- 49:41Speaker 3: Is she an actual, have they been married? Are they married?
- 49:43Speaker 2: People say like wife. So I don't know if she's
- 49:45Speaker 2: actually his wife.
- 49:47Speaker 3: Right.
- 49:47Speaker 2: But.
- 49:48Speaker 3: Because this is not going to last. I don't think
- 49:50Speaker 3: this is built on a solid foundation. I'm just going
- 49:52Speaker 3: to guess.
- 49:52Speaker 2: I mean, he used to make, I mean, even Kim,
- 49:55Speaker 2: who came from a, you know, a great family, has
- 49:57Speaker 2: a lot of support.
- 49:58Speaker 3: Right.
- 49:58Speaker 2: Had her own business. She was convinced to wear big,
- 50:02Speaker 2: long ski jackets in July.
- 50:05Speaker 3: Right.
- 50:06Speaker 2: Because he told her to. And she couldn't have any
- 50:08Speaker 2: color in her house. When Doris was born, North could
- 50:11Speaker 2: never wear pink. So there's something about whoever he gets
- 50:16Speaker 2: as a girlfriend, he somehow convinces them to be dressed
- 50:21Speaker 2: weird and do whatever he wants. And it's just whatever
- 50:24Speaker 2: new idea he has. So right now it's like, oh,
- 50:26Speaker 2: this looks great. Nylons on your whole body with your
- 50:29Speaker 2: nips and your vag hanging out. And then just a
- 50:33Speaker 2: white pump with a weird heel.
- 50:35Speaker 3: Where does he meet these girls? I feel like they're
- 50:37Speaker 3: set up by like publicists.
- 50:38Speaker 2: He's probably someone that like worked for his company or something.
- 50:41Speaker 2: And yeah, I don't know. I just thought it was strange.
- 50:43Speaker 3: Because they all kind of resemble her, of course, right? Yes.
- 50:46Speaker 3: They all resemble Kim.
- 50:48Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 50:48Speaker 3: Which seems to be the thing.
- 50:49Speaker 2: Kind of, yeah. Curvy and a pretty face.
- 50:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 50:52Speaker 2: Jonathan Chabon, food god.
- 50:54Speaker 3: Food god, sure. Yeah. You're still here.
- 50:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 50:57Speaker 3: Yeah, I know. I've read the story. So in 2020, he.
- 51:01Speaker 2: Loved this Korean barbecue sauce. He would talk about it on,
- 51:04Speaker 2: you know, he'd always talk about food. And he said
- 51:07Speaker 2: he pulled it out of the fridge to put on
- 51:10Speaker 2: and it cracked in his hand and he has a
- 51:12Speaker 2: big scar on his hand. Yeah. And he's suing for
- 51:15Speaker 2: $ 20 million. Right. Saying because of that cut, my hand
- 51:20Speaker 2: never repaired and I can't do my social media posts
- 51:24Speaker 2: the way I normally do.
- 51:25Speaker 5: Uh-huh.
- 51:26Speaker 2: Because of this, because of handicap. Yeah. And so he's
- 51:29Speaker 2: suing the barbecue sauce, the distribution center, the store that
- 51:33Speaker 2: sold it, everybody.
- 51:35Speaker 3: Glass, suing, just suing, he's like suing broken glass.
- 51:38Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 51:39Speaker 3: You know, like that's the way when something breaks, you
- 51:42Speaker 3: got to steer clear.
- 51:44Speaker 2: I mean, how can we prove that the bottle broke
- 51:47Speaker 2: in his hand unless there were like 700 other people
- 51:50Speaker 2: that had that happen?
- 51:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 51:51Speaker 2: What do you think the goal, why do you think
- 51:53Speaker 2: he's doing this? Do you think he's desperate for money?
- 51:56Speaker 2: Is he doing it for PR? What's he doing it for?
- 51:58Speaker 3: Well, I mean, everybody's riding underneath desperate for money. You know,
- 52:01Speaker 3: I see the comments, but I don't know his situation.
- 52:04Speaker 3: Does he make money talking about French toast? I mean,
- 52:07Speaker 3: I don't know who makes money anymore. Everybody I see
- 52:10Speaker 3: has five Ferraris in their driveway. Everybody. There's comedians. You
- 52:17Speaker 3: ever go to the comedy store lately? The parking lot
- 52:19Speaker 3: of the comedy store looks like, I mean, it looks
- 52:22Speaker 3: like a Cribs. There's Ferraris. Really? It's crazy. G-Wagons. And
- 52:27Speaker 3: these are like comedians who are coming up with us. Everybody.
- 52:32Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 52:33Speaker 3: Everybody's making $ 50 million.
- 52:34Speaker 2: Or that's what they want to spend their money on.
- 52:36Speaker 3: I guess. Sure. Yeah.
- 52:39Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 52:39Speaker 3: But so I don't know what his, like, does he
- 52:42Speaker 3: make money? I guess he does. He hangs out with.
- 52:46Speaker 2: I think he is a PR person. That's where he
- 52:48Speaker 2: got his start. So I think this is, I'm going
- 52:51Speaker 2: to do it. I'm going to see if they settle.
- 52:54Speaker 2: My hand is fucked up. The thing did really break
- 52:57Speaker 2: in my hand, whatever. Right. And it never really repaired.
- 53:01Speaker 2: And I think it's a bit of a PR thing.
- 53:04Speaker 3: Absolutely. Yeah.
- 53:05Speaker 2: To just get people to remember him again.
- 53:07Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 53:09Speaker 3: I don't know. I mean, it's all, I feel like
- 53:12Speaker 3: this whole living in that world where you just kind
- 53:15Speaker 3: of constantly figure something out, how to get yourself back.
- 53:18Speaker 4: Relevant.
- 53:18Speaker 2: You got to either wear nylons or sue a Korean
- 53:22Speaker 2: barbecue sauce company.
- 53:23Speaker 3: I feel like that's a lot of work.
- 53:25Speaker 4: I know.
- 53:26Speaker 2: Or start a fight with somebody. You're like, God, if
- 53:27Speaker 2: you only had like a solid skill set.
- 53:30Speaker 3: I know. This is why I tell everybody, go be
- 53:32Speaker 3: an electrician. They're literally, I saw a commercial for South Dakota.
- 53:38Speaker 3: The state of South Dakota. A commercial for the state.
- 53:42Speaker 3: They're like, we don't have enough people. Please come to
- 53:45Speaker 3: South Dakota because we need electricians. We're building and we
- 53:49Speaker 3: have nobody to build. Come to South Dakota. Oh, that's good.
- 53:52Speaker 3: This guy should be doing electrical work in South Dakota.
- 53:55Speaker 6: Right.
- 53:56Speaker 3: Maybe his hand won't be up, but that's what I'm saying.
- 53:58Speaker 2: Kim- posted this photo of her looking really thin in
- 54:02Speaker 2: these jeans that she let her kids draw on.
- 54:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 54:05Speaker 2: And she's like, oh, I just love my baby for
- 54:08Speaker 2: Mother's Day this year. They gave me these jeans. But
- 54:10Speaker 2: she's like in her jet taking a photo of herself.
- 54:12Speaker 2: So a lot of people were like, oh, my God, Kim,
- 54:15Speaker 2: it's not Mother's Day, blah, blah, blah.
- 54:17Speaker 4: Right.
- 54:18Speaker 2: And I'm like, of course, it's exactly what everyone thinks.
- 54:22Speaker 2: Of course, she was actually wearing the jeans, saw how
- 54:25Speaker 2: good she looked. And then was like, I'm going to
- 54:27Speaker 2: post this, but I'm also going to, you know, I
- 54:29Speaker 2: do love that my kids scribbled on them, whatever. And
- 54:33Speaker 2: I just feel like nobody's talking about them anymore.
- 54:35Speaker 3: I mean, she does look better than ever.
- 54:36Speaker 2: Yeah. Because the ass has gone down and she's remained skinny.
- 54:41Speaker 2: But she got bangs. Did you see the bangs?
- 54:44Speaker 3: No.
- 54:44Speaker 2: They're coming right here.
- 54:45Speaker 3: Oh, no.
- 54:47Speaker 2: Oh, no.
- 54:47Speaker 3: I don't like that. No. I mean, just for that.
- 54:50Speaker 2: No. So this is, they were hanging out, Chris and
- 54:54Speaker 2: Kim were with Meghan Markle's mother.
- 54:58Speaker 3: Right.
- 54:59Speaker 2: And the reason this is important is because I have
- 55:02Speaker 2: said that they should be hanging out and they should
- 55:07Speaker 2: be getting tips, Meghan Markle and her mother maybe. On
- 55:11Speaker 2: what to do with Meghan Markle's career next.
- 55:14Speaker 3: Right.
- 55:14Speaker 2: So they are now friends. They're all friends hanging out.
- 55:18Speaker 2: It was a charity gala in New York called This
- 55:21Speaker 2: Is About Humanity. And they were just spotty. They were
- 55:26Speaker 2: hanging out with Doria, the mother. And, you know, but
- 55:31Speaker 2: who knows? So this is just about what they wore.
- 55:34Speaker 2: And then, you know, Kim had her baby bangs, which
- 55:38Speaker 2: people are like, anyway. Anyway. What do you think?
- 55:42Speaker 3: I mean, I don't like the bangs, but that's just a...
- 55:45Speaker 3: Are those clip-ons or something?
- 55:46Speaker 2: No, I think it's her real bangs. But they said,
- 55:48Speaker 2: as for Markle, she has been in talks with some
- 55:50Speaker 2: big-name directors and producers for a potential TV comeback, according
- 55:54Speaker 2: to a new report. Now, I think she actually might
- 55:58Speaker 2: start acting again.
- 56:00Speaker 3: Why not?
- 56:00Speaker 2: Because the suits have become popular again on Netflix. And
- 56:05Speaker 2: I really think there's just not enough reality stuff there.
- 56:10Speaker 1: Right.
- 56:10Speaker 2: That she can do now with the podcast being gone
- 56:14Speaker 2: and who knows how many more things they can do
- 56:17Speaker 2: with Netflix. They've already told their story. I know. And
- 56:20Speaker 2: he got new hair though. He got like a whole
- 56:22Speaker 2: new hairdo.
- 56:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 56:23Speaker 2: So that's good.
- 56:24Speaker 3: It's thicker.
- 56:25Speaker 2: But I think she– I think– I definitely think there's
- 56:29Speaker 2: trouble in paradise.
- 56:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 56:31Speaker 2: And I don't know. Like she gets– if she gets
- 56:33Speaker 2: on a show and starts– creating her own thing where
- 56:36Speaker 2: people are like, Hey, I don't really like what she
- 56:37Speaker 2: did with the Royals, but actually I love this show.
- 56:40Speaker 2: And she's actually a really good actress in it. That's
- 56:42Speaker 2: where she can lend, start like reinventing herself and, and
- 56:46Speaker 2: having people respect her for the, for the craft.
- 56:49Speaker 3: She better be whatever she chooses to be and better
- 56:51Speaker 3: be great though. Cause it's going to be so picked
- 56:54Speaker 3: apart that she's, or.
- 56:56Speaker 2: Do you think people wouldn't want to have her in it?
- 56:58Speaker 2: Cause she's got so much stink on her.
- 57:00Speaker 3: Well, I mean, somebody will take her cause it'll get,
- 57:02Speaker 3: you know, people will go see it.
- 57:04Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 57:04Speaker 3: I think. I don't know. Who knows?
- 57:06Speaker 2: Anyway, this was funny.
- 57:08Speaker 3: Yeah, I saw it.
- 57:10Speaker 2: Adele is performing at Caesars and there is this guy
- 57:15Speaker 2: who is very close to the stage and he's standing
- 57:18Speaker 2: up and he's singing and he filmed it. He filmed
- 57:21Speaker 2: himself getting all excited and just loving every moment and
- 57:26Speaker 2: this woman comes up and is like, hey, can you
- 57:29Speaker 2: sit down? We're not being able to enjoy it.
- 57:31Speaker 3: Right.
- 57:32Speaker 2: And then A security guard comes and he goes right
- 57:35Speaker 2: back to singing. He's like, you know, rolling in the deep.
- 57:38Speaker 3: Yeah. He's standing up. He's singing loud. He was going wild.
- 57:43Speaker 2: But then Adele was like, hey, leave him alone. He's
- 57:46Speaker 2: allowed to do that.
- 57:47Speaker 3: Right.
- 57:48Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 57:49Speaker 2: I feel like she loves to stop her singing and
- 57:53Speaker 2: talk to the audience.
- 57:53Speaker 4: Like.
- 57:54Speaker 2: She really honestly would rather be a stand-up than sing.
- 57:58Speaker 5: I know.
- 57:58Speaker 3: I keep seeing her going out into the audience. What's
- 58:00Speaker 3: going on in Vegas where everybody's stopping shows because people
- 58:03Speaker 3: are taking pictures? Just finish the show. They should see
- 58:06Speaker 3: the shit we have to go through at a comedy club.
- 58:09Speaker 2: I feel like they want it.
- 58:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 58:11Speaker 2: They want the interaction.
- 58:12Speaker 3: I know. It's wild.
- 58:15Speaker 2: But then he made a statement like, no, they can
- 58:17Speaker 2: all stand up and da-da-da.
- 58:19Speaker 5: Look.
- 58:21Speaker 2: I mean, I would think Adele would be one of
- 58:23Speaker 2: those pretty chill kind of, like, he's acting like he's
- 58:26Speaker 2: at Taylor Swift.
- 58:27Speaker 3: Right.
- 58:28Speaker 2: When you go to Taylor Swift, you know it's going
- 58:29Speaker 2: to be.
- 58:29Speaker 3: It's going to be standing.
- 58:30Speaker 2: Two hours of screaming.
- 58:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 58:31Speaker 2: And everyone's going to be standing and you're going because
- 58:33Speaker 2: you have a 12-year-old daughter.
- 58:35Speaker 3: Right.
- 58:35Speaker 2: But I would think you're going to see Adele, like,
- 58:39Speaker 2: it should be kind of a more chill experience.
- 58:41Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 58:41Speaker 2: So it is, that is pretty annoying. Yeah.
- 58:44Speaker 3: I mean, I guess, who knows? I feel like concerts,
- 58:46Speaker 3: you stand the whole time, don't you? I mean, certain ones.
- 58:50Speaker 2: Um, yeah, but then also.
- 58:53Speaker 3: If it's a, I don't know. I just went, I
- 58:55Speaker 3: went by myself. I like to go by myself to
- 58:57Speaker 3: the concerts.
- 58:58Speaker 6: Right.
- 58:58Speaker 2: Where'd you go?
- 58:59Speaker 3: I went to see Culture Club in Berlin.
- 59:01Speaker 2: I told them before, yeah.
- 59:03Speaker 3: That's right.
- 59:03Speaker 2: So two different nights or they were together?
- 59:05Speaker 3: No, they were together.
- 59:06Speaker 2: And so Culture Club's first?
- 59:07Speaker 3: 80s extravaganza. No, Berlin first. Culture Club's second.
- 59:10Speaker 2: Did you see Dorit and P.K.? No, actually, he mentioned P.K.
- 59:15Speaker 3: From the stage.
- 59:15Speaker 2: Oh, really?
- 59:16Speaker 3: He said, this is my manager P.K. 's favorite song,
- 59:19Speaker 3: and he sang it. So he did mention him. Boy George.
- 59:23Speaker 2: Boy George was performing at the Hollywood Bowl, mind you. Mm-hmm.
- 59:28Speaker 2: And he said, PK is my manager. And I absolutely,
- 59:32Speaker 2: Little Phoenix and Jagger were so sad to miss it.
- 59:36Speaker 2: So it was good.
- 59:37Speaker 3: Yeah. Oh, my God. But I go by myself, you know,
- 59:39Speaker 3: because I, my wife's like, I don't, you know. Yeah.
- 59:42Speaker 2: But every song was a hit. Did he do anything new?
- 59:44Speaker 3: Do all the hits and do a lot of covers.
- 59:46Speaker 3: You know, good. But he didn't do any, like, new stuff. No,
- 59:49Speaker 3: they don't bore you with that. They give you the
- 59:51Speaker 3: hits and get out of there.
- 59:52Speaker 5: Okay.
- 59:52Speaker 3: But I was alone. And I was a little concerned
- 59:55Speaker 3: because I, In a Hollywood Bowl, they have boxes. You've
- 59:58Speaker 3: got a box and it's four seats in a box.
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: We sat in one for Duran Duran. And they're close proximity.
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: So I bought one ticket on StubHub. And I'm like, oh,
- 1:00:08Speaker 3: am I going to be with people real close? Sure enough,
- 1:00:10Speaker 3: I get there and it's just me in the box.
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: And it's quite apparent that I'm sitting by myself. Because
- 1:00:17Speaker 3: you could see it. Like the entire Hollywood Bowl could
- 1:00:21Speaker 3: see that there's only one person in this box.
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: By the way, that could be an episode of Seinfeld. Like,
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: that feels like a sitcom that you would go to
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: take it by yourself.
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: And then you're with three people. And they're all sharing food.
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: And then you're like, I actually got hungry. And they're
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: just going to start to share with you. Or you're
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: going to be like, well, let me share some food
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: with you.
- 1:00:42Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: I love the Hollywood Bowl.
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: Yeah, it's the best place to see a concert.
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: Okay. How do you think? We haven't talked about since
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: the big break has happened with Britney Spears and... Um, Sam,
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: the latest report is he is unemployed. He's looking for
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: a new, well, of course he's unemployed. He's an actor.
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: We're on strike.
- 1:01:03Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: He's been with her for seven years. Is he expected
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: to be working at Starbucks? Like he just separated from his.
- 1:01:10Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: Multi-million dollar wife. Like.
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: I just want to say to everybody who attacked both
- 1:01:16Speaker 3: you and I for this story, the apologies, I hope
- 1:01:19Speaker 3: they're coming soon because. Everybody said we were being insensitive
- 1:01:24Speaker 3: about it when I said that maybe we're a little
- 1:01:26Speaker 3: too soon on lifting everything. You know, now they're saying,
- 1:01:31Speaker 3: I've read, and maybe it's true or not true, I'm
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: not sure, that she's looking to reconcile with the father.
- 1:01:35Speaker 3: She wants the father back in her life. And so
- 1:01:38Speaker 3: if there's any truth to that, if the father now
- 1:01:41Speaker 3: comes back in, which is what I've been saying since
- 1:01:43Speaker 3: the beginning, I said, I think the father was there.
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: Then they have a sitcom called Father Knows Best.
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: Bring it on. Bring it on. What were you going
- 1:01:51Speaker 3: to say?
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:01:52Speaker 3: I believe that that was, you know, from the beginning,
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: I think that all the people dancing on the courthouse
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: steps and stuff was a little, I think it was
- 1:02:01Speaker 3: a little much premature for what was going on.
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: Well, Britney Spears also cracked her head open and needed
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: stitches after a fight, according to TMZ. So according to
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: their show called Divorce and Despair on TMZ, Brittany cracked
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: her head during a heated argument with her now ex-husband, Sam,
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: in London and that she required medical attention for her injuries. However,
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: a source denies the incident, saying that the couple has
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: never been to London together. You'd think you would be
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: able to figure that out.
- 1:02:29Speaker 3: Right. Yeah.
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: Anyway, she cracked her head open and she and Sam
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: were going at it in a hotel room and it
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: got so bad that she tripped and hit the coffee table,
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: cracking her head open and needed stitches. By the way,
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: today I got a lot of people being mean to
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: me under my Instagram about falling on my head again.
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: I don't know why they keep- It's back again? All
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: of a sudden, they just come.
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: Really?
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: All of a sudden, like 12 of them today. About
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: if- Did you get that shot again?
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: There's new vaccines out or something?
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: Yeah, you're going to get that other shot. Yeah. You're
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: talking about Jesus again.
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: Like all this stuff. And I'm just like, oh God.
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: And then they're like- you know, have you fallen again?
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: You're the, I usually don't find female comedians funny, but
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: it was funny when you fall, fall and you cracked
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: your head. I'm like, Oh, you're nice. Anyway. Um, then
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: she also added two employees to her house staff. One
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: was a medical background. Now you heard that she, that
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: the person that she allegedly was cheating with was her
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: male housekeeper.
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: Oh, I did not hear that.
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:03:38Speaker 3: Oh, wow.
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: And he had a record.
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: Like a record, like a, not a, not a, not
- 1:03:43Speaker 3: a singing record. Like, like he's not, I, you know what?
- 1:03:49Speaker 5: Yeah. Yes.
- 1:03:50Speaker 3: Like a criminal record.
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: Anyway. Oh, the two, wait, the two staff, one has
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: it that she got. One has a medical background.
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: Oh, good.
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: So, yeah. So we'll see.
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: Well, you know, you wish her the best. You really do.
- 1:04:05Speaker 3: I don't think anybody, I mean, I don't feel this
- 1:04:07Speaker 3: is going to end well, you know, it's just a
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: sad story all around. And, I mean, everyone likes Britney Spears.
- 1:04:14Speaker 3: I don't think anyone wants anything bad to happen to them.
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: Do you remember whatever happened? No, sorry, not whatever. Sunset Boulevard.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: The movie?
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: The movie Sunset Boulevard.
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: Yes. Gloria Swanson.
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: So a juicy scooper said, because I said, Kyle and
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: Kim Richards remind me of whatever happened to Baby Jane.
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: They're like, this is a modern day Sunset Boulevard about
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: an old actress that still thinks she's a star and
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: everyone around her That works for her, makes her believe
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: that she still is. Right. And I kind of feel
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: it's a version of this. Like she's so out of
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: it that she thinks that she's dancing for like the
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: people in Vegas.
- 1:04:54Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:04:55Speaker 6: And.
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: I mean, that could be. But it's being replaced with
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: an Instagram.
- 1:04:59Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: And that she does it all the time. And like, honestly,
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: she is like, you know, they want to see. And,
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: you know.
- 1:05:05Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: And she does the same dance over and over again.
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: And.
- 1:05:07Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:05:08Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: Is that her house? And where is she living now?
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: How come we can't get- I think she's like still
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: in like Calabasas or Thousand Oaks or something.
- 1:05:17Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: Yeah. I don't know.
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: I just don't know the day-to-day over there. You know,
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: I don't know. You never see her out. You know,
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: you never see her at 7-Eleven.
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: She never has any girlfriends or anything.
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: I know.
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: Well, she went out for chicken.
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: Oh, she did? Yeah. When did she go for chicken?
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: She went to some chicken hot wings place and then-
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: Got with a bunch of gay guys and then they
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: did a photo shoot and whatever.
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: Yeah, I saw it with the gay guys, yeah.
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: But, all right, this is pretty juicy. This guy, he's
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: on TikTok and his name, it's, I guess his name is, oh,
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: For Citizenship, I guess that would be his name, right?
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: Or this would be Patty. What is the name of
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: this person?
- 1:05:57Speaker 3: I don't, I have no idea. I don't know how
- 1:05:59Speaker 3: any of that works.
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: I think Patty is the name. Anyway, he does conspiracy
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: theories on TikTok.
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: So. There's not enough of people doing conspiracy theories on TikTok.
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: I think we need more.
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: This one doesn't hurt anybody. Okay. It's just kind of interesting.
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: The people that are obsessed with Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber.
- 1:06:20Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: They believe that he will announce or they will be
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: getting divorced soon. Okay.
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: I hope they don't.
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: Because it'll be five years that they've been married come
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: September something. Right. Right. And after that, he could be
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: divorced and he will not be deported or anything.
- 1:06:41Speaker 3: Oh, because he's Canadian.
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: And they believe that he– because he was with Selena
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: Gomez and then they broke up and then he got
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: with Hailey right away and married her right away because
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: he had been arrested for something. Yeah. And if he
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: wasn't going to be married, he was going to be deported.
- 1:06:57Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: Oh, and Haley. I mean, you know, Justin Bieber or not,
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: if he could not be in America, that would really,
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: really be detrimental to like his career and his life
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: and everything.
- 1:07:06Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: So he married her and I'm not saying he didn't
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: love with her at the time, but it will be
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: very interesting if something happens. And that's just a conspiracy theory.
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: That's interesting. I mean, I could see that a lot
- 1:07:19Speaker 3: of people do that, you know.
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: I mean, so that was a good one.
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: That is a good one. I mean, she's gotten all
- 1:07:26Speaker 3: she could get out of that. I mean, she's a
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: big star now from that marriage. So good for her.
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: What do you think about... We haven't talked about Sofia
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: Vergara and Joe Manganiello getting divorced.
- 1:07:38Speaker 3: I think it's a sad situation.
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: And then he got a big tattoo.
- 1:07:42Speaker 3: Right. Of what does it say? What does his tattoo say?
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: I got to find that one. Oh, here it is.
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: His tattoo... Pays tribute to his American heritage.
- 1:07:54Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: The tattoo comes amid the ongoing.
- 1:07:56Speaker 3: I.
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: Don't know. Oh, Armenian. Not American. I was reading it
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: right and I was like, my God. Wouldn't that be...
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: That would almost be seen as like... Yeah.
- 1:08:09Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: Like, if you were like, I want to, you know,
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: have my American heritage, people would be like, you white supremacist. Anyway, Armenian,
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: it's something that deals with, it's angel in Armenian.
- 1:08:22Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: Meanwhile, he's got his pup, Bubbles.
- 1:08:25Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: And I have said that the dog was a major
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: factor in breaking the two of them up.
- 1:08:31Speaker 3: You think so? Oh, I know so.
- 1:08:33Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:08:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: That little dog that Chihuahua hated her and nipped at her,
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: bit her, everything. She talked about it in talk shows.
- 1:08:42Speaker 3: Really?
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: And she bought the dog and the dog didn't like her.
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: And it never occurred to him to be like, you know,
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: maybe we find it in another home or something.
- 1:08:52Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: This isn't cool that the dog hates you. No. He
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: just continued to have that dog around him all the
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: time and the dog in every photo was just... looking
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: away from her and hating her.
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: Well, she also got Joe Manganiello at this height. He was,
- 1:09:06Speaker 3: you know, he was on Magic Mike and he was
- 1:09:09Speaker 3: doing really well.
- 1:09:10Speaker 5: And he was.
- 1:09:11Speaker 3: And then, of course, that all kind of slowed down
- 1:09:13Speaker 3: a bit. And modern family ended. She's still doing great. But,
- 1:09:17Speaker 3: I mean, I think they were spending more time together.
- 1:09:20Speaker 3: After Modern Family ended and he had a lot.
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: Of time on his hands. I think like a Meghan Markle,
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: like after all the hoopla ends, you kind of look
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: over and you're like, I'm not that into you. You're
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: not that great. And I think I could do better.
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: And I think she came, from what I've read, she
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: came from a lot of money from Columbia. She's not
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: like some, so she has like some princess standards.
- 1:09:46Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: And he's very down to earth guy.
- 1:09:48Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:09:49Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: And, you know, one of the stories was that, you know, oh,
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: that someone told me that he she was mad that
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: he mowed their lawn. Oh, she was like, that's not
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: what you do. You hire someone to do that. That's embarrassing.
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: And he was like, I just want to do it.
- 1:10:05Speaker 3: I like.
- 1:10:06Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: So I think that they. Yeah. And I think not
- 1:10:09Speaker 2: having kids, there's the it's there's less to fight for.
- 1:10:12Speaker 3: She has a kid from a previous relationship. Yeah.
- 1:10:15Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:10:15Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: And so I just, I think it's like.
- 1:10:17Speaker 3: Now is she still a judge on America's Got Talent?
- 1:10:20Speaker 3: I think so. Yeah, I think she's on there. Yeah.
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: There's this wolfman, a naked wolfman who's spotted by hikers
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: in the German mountains and he wouldn't take his eyes
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: off of us.
- 1:10:30Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: But the comments are so funny in this article from
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: the New York Post.
- 1:10:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:10:35Speaker 2: It's like, just go down Hollywood Boulevard.
- 1:10:39Speaker 3: Oh, absolutely. As soon as I saw this picture, I'm like,
- 1:10:41Speaker 3: this could be any 7-Eleven on Ventura Boulevard.
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: And then they're like, Oh, my God. Just let him
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: live alone. Like, let him just be on the grid.
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: Who cares, you know? But they said he was scary
- 1:10:54Speaker 2: in the woods. Okay. Now, I know that you don't
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: really watch Sister Wives.
- 1:10:59Speaker 3: No, I don't. I don't.
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: But, I mean, I just want to say a general thing.
- 1:11:06Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: I believe that these people are the poorest reality shows,
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: reality people that have.
- 1:11:14Speaker 3: Ever been on a reality show why is that.
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: Okay so this girl Robin she was wife number four
- 1:11:21Speaker 2: okay and she joined Cody when the show was already
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: happening yeah um but or maybe they were on for
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: two seasons and she was divorced and had three kids
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: and she was just like this is what I want
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: you know she never said I want to be on
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: TV but I think okay it can be on TV
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: and then I don't have to you know be the
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: only one to screw them or be with them I
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: like having sister wise I like this idea My kids really,
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: you know, will love to have all these other kids around.
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: And then in the end, he really only started spending
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: time with Robin. And then the other wives were feeling
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: neglected and jealous. And now they've all left him.
- 1:12:00Speaker 3: So they're all gone. He doesn't have any. Wives?
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: He only has Robin, who's crying the hardest because now
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: she's stuck with him and he's like such a dick.
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: And Christine left first. Janelle is ready to leave, this
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: one right here. And then Mary is the first one
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: and she never wants to leave. But he's like, why
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: are you still here? Like he is like, so, and
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: now he's pissed because the two, wife number two and three,
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: Christine and Janelle left. They love each other. They're like,
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: let's hang out with all the kids together. And then Robin,
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: who brought her three kids in and then had two
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: more with him, she's like, well, my kids feel left out.
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: But meanwhile, there's something real creepy that happened.
- 1:12:43Speaker 5: What?
- 1:12:44Speaker 3: I mean, outside of the entire show.
- 1:12:47Speaker 2: Okay. He has all these kids, like 18 kids.
- 1:12:54Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: With her three kids. And he made Mary, who was
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: only the legal wife, wife to one, divorce him so
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: that he could marry Robin so he could adopt those
- 1:13:02Speaker 2: three kids. Then they had two more.
- 1:13:04Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: And we never get to see the inside of Robin's house.
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: And the rumor is because she is a hoarder.
- 1:13:09Speaker 3: Oh, now that's the show I'd like to see.
- 1:13:12Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: And there was a photo of him. Someone screen grabbed
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: it of him talking into his phone or whatever that
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: they used. And it's like the decor is so ugly.
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: And it's like, people are like, why does she have
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: all these framed photos? I'm like, oh, because she's a
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: hoarder and she keeps buying stuff and like everything. So
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: she's crying because she's like, well, they don't want to,
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: you know, the two girls with all their kids don't
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: want to hang out because Marilyn has one child.
- 1:13:39Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:13:39Speaker 2: And they're feeling rejected. But one thing that I've said
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: that now people are picking up, since one of his daughters,
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: who is technically a stepdaughter. There's no relation. He seems
- 1:13:54Speaker 2: very enamored with.
- 1:13:55Speaker 3: Oh, no.
- 1:13:57Speaker 2: And so he takes her to get her ears pierced.
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: And it's like, the show is so boring, but I
- 1:14:03Speaker 2: cannot stop watching.
- 1:14:04Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:14:04Speaker 2: So he's like, oh, you know, with our religion, we're
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: not supposed to get our ears pierced or whatever. And
- 1:14:09Speaker 2: she's like, And he goes, I just think it's kind
- 1:14:12Speaker 2: of a cool thing, you know, that I'm going to
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: take my daughter to get her ears pierced. It's a
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: daddy-daughter thing. Meanwhile, he had a daughter with this other
- 1:14:20Speaker 2: wife who was getting, like, a very intense back surgery
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: for her scoliosis. And he didn't go to the operation
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: or the hospital or anything. But he's going to go
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: with this girl. And they slow it down where he, like,
- 1:14:34Speaker 2: touches her back. And then when they come back, he
- 1:14:37Speaker 2: checks out her ass and licks his lips.
- 1:14:40Speaker 3: And they're showing this on TV? Are they leading you
- 1:14:43Speaker 3: to believe that it's going to be.
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: No, they're doing it very... They're just doing it subtly,
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: but a fan has brought it up.
- 1:14:49Speaker 6: Wow.
- 1:14:49Speaker 2: And I don't think this girl wants to be... But
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: that happens a lot in the polygamous thing.
- 1:15:01Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:15:02Speaker 2: Okay, if I want another wife, could it be my daughter?
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: But I don't think there's any way... Robin would put
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: up with it, but that would keep the show going
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: for another 10 years. But literally, they've been on a
- 1:15:14Speaker 2: show for 17 years, and none of the women have
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: very much to show for it. They live in very
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: humble things. One was living in a trailer for a year.
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: Now she's got a tiny apartment with a tiny Christmas tree.
- 1:15:27Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: And even Robin, who owns her house, it's nothing great
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: to look at.
- 1:15:31Speaker 3: That's why Bethany Frankel wants a union for these people.
- 1:15:35Speaker 3: They need to be protected.
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:15:37Speaker 3: Right? Isn't she starting something?
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: But I'm just kind of looking at the Robin thing.
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: I'm like, what did you gain from this? Now you
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: don't have any family. You're stuck with him. And you
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: really don't have any money after being on the show
- 1:15:48Speaker 2: for like 15 years.
- 1:15:49Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:15:51Speaker 4: And.
- 1:15:52Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know. I don't understand. Honestly, they
- 1:15:56Speaker 2: must have the worst attorney because I cannot believe that
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: they don't live a better life. These women.
- 1:16:02Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: I would die to have any one of these women
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: on my show. I'm going to secret it.
- 1:16:07Speaker 3: Oh, they would definitely come on here.
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: I don't know. Get the hoarder lady. I feel like
- 1:16:12Speaker 2: they don't do.
- 1:16:12Speaker 3: Any- Yeah, you don't see them out doing press.
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: They're not really doing the- I think they really follow
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: the rules of the TLC.
- 1:16:18Speaker 3: They're living the Mormon lifestyle.
- 1:16:19Speaker 2: They're really like the most well-behaved reality show people. Do
- 1:16:24Speaker 2: whatever they say. They want them to film by themselves
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: during COVID. They want them to show up at the
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: same Mexican restaurant and have the same conversation over and
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: over again. They will do it. You know, whatever it is.
- 1:16:36Speaker 2: And I'm just like, I just have to know how
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: much they make. Do you know that Julia Fox's book
- 1:16:43Speaker 2: is coming out?
- 1:16:43Speaker 3: I mean, yeah. I saw somebody post something about it.
- 1:16:47Speaker 3: There's nothing I can care about less than this.
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: I feel like she's kind of twizzled.
- 1:16:52Speaker 3: Oh, I mean, has she ever?
- 1:16:53Speaker 2: You know, and also the Anna, you know, the one
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: that's like, you're so poor. The one that, like, she's disappeared.
- 1:17:02Speaker 6: Right.
- 1:17:02Speaker 3: You don't see her anymore.
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: I don't hear about her.
- 1:17:04Speaker 3: You know who else has gone, too? What was her name?
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: Anna?
- 1:17:08Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: Anyway, yeah.
- 1:17:11Speaker 3: The couple from Good Morning America. You don't see them? Roback.
- 1:17:15Speaker 3: Amy Roback. Hold on.
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: Wait.
- 1:17:16Speaker 3: Hold on.
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: They're here. Hold on.
- 1:17:18Speaker 3: Hold on. They got an Amy Roback? Oh, there they are.
- 1:17:21Speaker 2: But not a lot of scoop.
- 1:17:22Speaker 5: No.
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: Just that they are now, this Amy Roback and TJ
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: Holmes are making things Instagram official. The controversial couple shared
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: the same photo to their respective accounts and turned their
- 1:17:32Speaker 2: comments off.
- 1:17:33Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: So they're just still dating.
- 1:17:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: I know they don't want to, but the only choice
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: they have is to become podcasters or realtors.
- 1:17:44Speaker 3: Or crack a bottle of sriracha in your hand and
- 1:17:46Speaker 3: sue the company. That's how you get back in the fold.
- 1:17:51Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:17:52Speaker 3: I mean.
- 1:17:53Speaker 2: They're either studying for their real estate exam, and that's
- 1:17:55Speaker 2: why they haven't started their podcast.
- 1:17:56Speaker 3: Or they.
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: Are getting ready to launch the podcast.
- 1:18:01Speaker 3: I'm sure it's coming any day now. Yeah.
- 1:18:03Speaker 2: I can't believe it hasn't happened yet.
- 1:18:04Speaker 3: Just what we needed. I know. It's a little late now.
- 1:18:08Speaker 2: But anyway, getting back to her book, this is what
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: they say it's about. This is the description. This commitment
- 1:18:14Speaker 2: to authenticity has never been more on display than in
- 1:18:17Speaker 2: Down the Drain with writing that is both eloquent and accessible.
- 1:18:22Speaker 2: Julia Fox recounts her turbulent path to cultural supremacy. Such
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: a weird Her parents' volatile relationship that divided her childhood
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: between Italy and New York and left her largely raising herself,
- 1:18:36Speaker 2: a possessive and abusive drug-dealing boyfriend whose torment continued even
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: from within Rikers Island, her own trips to jail as
- 1:18:44Speaker 2: well as her psychiatric hospital, her work as a dominatrix
- 1:18:49Speaker 2: that led to a complicated entanglement with a sugar daddy,
- 1:18:53Speaker 2: a heroin habit that led to New Orleans trap houses,
- 1:18:57Speaker 2: and that she would kick only after the fatal overdose
- 1:19:01Speaker 2: of her best friend, her own near lethal overdoses, and
- 1:19:05Speaker 2: the death of still more friends from drug.
- 1:19:08Speaker 3: Oh, it's going on.
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: Yeah, from drug and suicide and emotionally explosive tabloid dominating
- 1:19:12Speaker 2: romance with a figure she dubs as the artist.
- 1:19:15Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:19:16Speaker 2: A whirlwind short-lived marriage with her trials as a single
- 1:19:19Speaker 2: parent striving to support her young son. Yet, as extraordinary
- 1:19:25Speaker 2: as her story is, it's her universal, what did I
- 1:19:30Speaker 2: say that? Universal-tility?
- 1:19:31Speaker 3: Universality.
- 1:19:32Speaker 2: Universality is what makes it so powerful.
- 1:19:36Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:19:36Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:19:37Speaker 3: First of all, why couldn't she have.
- 1:19:39Speaker 2: Been in the Kairos retreat group?
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 1:19:42Speaker 3: That's the kind of person that you want to.
- 1:19:44Speaker 2: Tell the story at the Catholic retreat, three-day retreat.
- 1:19:52Speaker 3: I don't like the blonde eyebrows.
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: She looks like Madonna. This looks like very much Madonna's book.
- 1:20:00Speaker 2: Remember when Madonna had the book, The Sex Book?
- 1:20:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: And she talked about having sex with a Puerto Rican boy.
- 1:20:06Speaker 3: She did?
- 1:20:07Speaker 2: In the book.
- 1:20:08Speaker 3: Didn't she take a, didn't she?
- 1:20:09Speaker 2: I mean, she could probably have said that was a
- 1:20:11Speaker 2: fictional or something.
- 1:20:11Speaker 3: Didn't she shit on a table or something? And people,
- 1:20:13Speaker 3: they photographed her from underneath like a glass table. Am
- 1:20:17Speaker 3: I making this up or was that a real thing?
- 1:20:18Speaker 2: No, I always talk about that, but I don't think
- 1:20:19Speaker 2: that was her thing. She did like photos of her
- 1:20:22Speaker 2: like being naked, hitchhiking.
- 1:20:23Speaker 3: It was a sex book. I swear that was poop
- 1:20:25Speaker 3: on a glass table. I swear.
- 1:20:26Speaker 2: In that book?
- 1:20:27Speaker 6: Yes.
- 1:20:28Speaker 2: You definitely cannot buy it anymore. The only way you
- 1:20:31Speaker 2: could get it is like on an eBay situation.
- 1:20:33Speaker 3: Oh, I mean, it was a big deal.
- 1:20:34Speaker 2: A lot of people that do books that are like,
- 1:20:36Speaker 2: oh my God, I will be canceled if this is out.
- 1:20:40Speaker 2: There is no way to get those books. One being
- 1:20:43Speaker 2: House of Hilton. That's a very hard book to get
- 1:20:46Speaker 2: that I have. It's about all the Hiltons. A Drew
- 1:20:54Speaker 2: Barrymore book about her childhood.
- 1:20:57Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
- 1:20:58Speaker 2: She does not want that out.
- 1:20:59Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:21:00Speaker 2: And then this, and the sex book of Madonna.
- 1:21:03Speaker 3: Really?
- 1:21:03Speaker 2: She talks about having sex with a Puerto Rican boy
- 1:21:05Speaker 2: or something.
- 1:21:06Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:21:07Speaker 2: But like I said, that could be fictional. It doesn't
- 1:21:08Speaker 2: mean it's autobiographical. Yeah.
- 1:21:10Speaker 3: Autobiography.
- 1:21:11Speaker 2: But, um, well, I mean, I think she's got some
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: juicy stories to tell.
- 1:21:16Speaker 3: I'm sure.
- 1:21:17Speaker 2: But, but I don't know. I don't know if I
- 1:21:19Speaker 2: like her personality. I don't know if I'm going to
- 1:21:21Speaker 2: be rooting for her or care.
- 1:21:23Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:21:23Speaker 2: You know, so I'll have somebody else do the review
- 1:21:25Speaker 2: of it. North Hollywood strippers returned to work at only
- 1:21:32Speaker 2: Unionized Club in the U.S.
- 1:21:34Speaker 3: I'm familiar with it. It's called, yeah. What is it?
- 1:21:37Speaker 2: Tell me about it. It's a North Hollywood club.
- 1:21:39Speaker 3: Yeah, it's on Lancashire.
- 1:21:41Speaker 2: Yeah. It reopened after a lengthy shutdown. The club strippers
- 1:21:45Speaker 2: walked off the job nearly a year and a half ago.
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: They're returning to work as members of the Actors' Equity
- 1:21:51Speaker 2: Association Labor Union and becoming the nation's only strippers with
- 1:21:55Speaker 2: union representation.
- 1:21:56Speaker 3: Good.
- 1:21:58Speaker 2: Did Bethany do this?
- 1:22:00Speaker 3: She might have gotten that, yeah.
- 1:22:03Speaker 2: She'll take credit for it. Workers from other labor unions
- 1:22:05Speaker 2: also joined the club's strippers to show support.
- 1:22:07Speaker 3: Star Gardens, that's the name of the place.
- 1:22:10Speaker 2: Oh, they say their concerns about issues including abusive treatment
- 1:22:13Speaker 2: by patrons and safety. Well, I think those super high
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: heels and spinning around on a pole is a safety hazard.
- 1:22:20Speaker 3: It is.
- 1:22:21Speaker 2: And if you're really going to do about safety.
- 1:22:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:22:23Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:22:24Speaker 3: You know, they come, and they come out hard when
- 1:22:26Speaker 3: the first song began, you know, some, some 80, some
- 1:22:29Speaker 3: white snake song starts cranking. And they come out.
- 1:22:31Speaker 2: And slithering around and slipping.
- 1:22:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:22:35Speaker 2: I was, um, walking out in some platform heels recently
- 1:22:40Speaker 2: and I took a tumble.
- 1:22:41Speaker 3: You did? Yeah.
- 1:22:42Speaker 6: Where?
- 1:22:42Speaker 3: Going where?
- 1:22:43Speaker 2: I was leaving the show that I did with Sheena Shea.
- 1:22:46Speaker 2: I was like going, you know, and I was like, whatever,
- 1:22:49Speaker 2: like a pothole. Somehow I missed the dirt. I couldn't
- 1:22:52Speaker 2: even believe it. I totally fell.
- 1:22:53Speaker 3: Oh no.
- 1:22:54Speaker 2: And, um, but I was okay.
- 1:22:56Speaker 5: Good.
- 1:22:56Speaker 2: But I did pee a little.
- 1:22:58Speaker 3: While falling?
- 1:22:59Speaker 2: Just a little trickle. Yeah. Well. Cause it was like
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: so scary.
- 1:23:02Speaker 3: Okay. Yeah, sure.
- 1:23:03Speaker 2: And it was just like a tiny bit of pee. Yeah.
- 1:23:05Speaker 2: But I still continued to go to the next location.
- 1:23:07Speaker 3: Oh, that's great. Don't let anything stop you from getting
- 1:23:10Speaker 3: to the next good time.
- 1:23:12Speaker 2: Um, um, anyway, so good for them.
- 1:23:16Speaker 3: Good for them.
- 1:23:16Speaker 2: Um, Adria DiMatteo from The Sopranos. She has an OnlyFans
- 1:23:22Speaker 2: plans account.
- 1:23:24Speaker 3: But is she just doing like telling stories about Sopranos?
- 1:23:27Speaker 2: No, it's jaw dropping.
- 1:23:29Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm sure.
- 1:23:29Speaker 2: So she's just doing beautiful photos. Why not? What are
- 1:23:32Speaker 2: you going to do?
- 1:23:33Speaker 3: I mean, she's been, she's done some work. She's been
- 1:23:36Speaker 3: out there.
- 1:23:37Speaker 2: I mean, if you're pretty and you, if you're pretty.
- 1:23:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:23:41Speaker 2: I say go do the OnlyFans thing because this podcasting
- 1:23:44Speaker 2: thing is harder than you think.
- 1:23:46Speaker 3: No kidding.
- 1:23:46Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:23:47Speaker 2: And, yeah, I think people are starting to realize that
- 1:23:49Speaker 2: it's a lot more work than it is.
- 1:23:51Speaker 3: But I think people like Drea DeMatteo, they're ruining the
- 1:23:55Speaker 3: OnlyFans for, like, the regular girl. Yeah, a lot of
- 1:23:58Speaker 3: people say that. Because people are going to go to hers,
- 1:23:59Speaker 3: pay whatever, $ 40 a month. Because they're like, oh, my God.
- 1:24:01Speaker 3: And they're like, oh, that's a ripoff. She's just– Yeah.
- 1:24:05Speaker 2: But then she's going to have to really work it. Like,
- 1:24:08Speaker 2: I think you get the initial boost. Right. Just like
- 1:24:11Speaker 2: when a new podcast– They are number three because everyone
- 1:24:15Speaker 2: subscribed that week. But is everyone going to keep listening?
- 1:24:19Speaker 2: Is everyone going to keep going to her after they've
- 1:24:22Speaker 2: kind of seen the photos and stuff? She would have
- 1:24:24Speaker 2: to really engage them and talk to them and make
- 1:24:27Speaker 2: them feel like they're special. And then probably she should
- 1:24:32Speaker 2: tell soprano stories.
- 1:24:34Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:24:35Speaker 2: In lingerie with beautiful lighting.
- 1:24:38Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:24:40Speaker 2: And charge a lot for that.
- 1:24:42Speaker 3: Well, there's already– I think the two of the Soprano kids,
- 1:24:45Speaker 3: the kids have a podcast.
- 1:24:48Speaker 2: The only two that there were, right?
- 1:24:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:24:50Speaker 2: Tony's kids.
- 1:24:51Speaker 3: Yeah, Tony's kids.
- 1:24:51Speaker 2: And where they rewatch the episodes.
- 1:24:53Speaker 3: I don't know if they– Or they should.
- 1:24:55Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:24:55Speaker 3: I think they actually just do like a podcast where
- 1:24:57Speaker 3: they just talk about life.
- 1:24:59Speaker 2: Well, they shouldn't do that.
- 1:25:00Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:25:01Speaker 2: They should go, let's watch it with us, watch it
- 1:25:05Speaker 2: one every week, and then we'll recap it.
- 1:25:07Speaker 4: Okay. Okay.
- 1:25:08Speaker 2: You know what's kind of sad is that April Richardson
- 1:25:10Speaker 2: was totally the person that invented that.
- 1:25:12Speaker 3: Yeah, she did. It was Saved by the Bell.
- 1:25:14Speaker 2: April was a comic and a writer's assistant.
- 1:25:16Speaker 3: She's back doing it again, by the way. She's back
- 1:25:17Speaker 3: doing it.
- 1:25:18Speaker 2: Okay, and if you like Saved by the Bell, look
- 1:25:19Speaker 2: her up because she was doing this like 15 years ago.
- 1:25:24Speaker 2: And I'm like, I'll do your podcast. She goes, well,
- 1:25:26Speaker 2: we just watched an episode of Saved by the Bell
- 1:25:28Speaker 2: and then we like talk about it.
- 1:25:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:25:31Speaker 2: And she was like the first one to do that.
- 1:25:33Speaker 3: Yeah, I know.
- 1:25:34Speaker 2: She must be pissed that everyone copied her idea. Yeah. Anyway,
- 1:25:38Speaker 2: the daycare workers who terrorize the children wearing the mask
- 1:25:42Speaker 2: from Scream, they finally got punished.
- 1:25:45Speaker 3: I saw that.
- 1:25:47Speaker 2: So weird. You know what else I want to say
- 1:25:49Speaker 2: that things have bothered me? There's a trend that was happening.
- 1:25:52Speaker 3: Okay. A couple trends.
- 1:25:54Speaker 2: One was you take your baby sitting there in a
- 1:25:57Speaker 2: high chair, and I've seen this at daycares too, and
- 1:25:59Speaker 2: they just take a piece of ham and throw it
- 1:26:02Speaker 2: at them.
- 1:26:02Speaker 3: I've seen that.
- 1:26:02Speaker 2: And then it sticks to their face. And some of
- 1:26:05Speaker 2: them are okay with it, and others are like, Yeah.
- 1:26:08Speaker 2: And people are like, obviously that's awful. But then there's
- 1:26:11Speaker 2: the egg cracking one where you take your kid and
- 1:26:14Speaker 2: you're like, hey, want to cook together? And you're like, yeah, Bob,
- 1:26:18Speaker 2: we're going to make a cake. Yeah, we are. So
- 1:26:20Speaker 2: we're going to crack the egg. And then they act
- 1:26:22Speaker 2: like they're going to crack it on a bowl and
- 1:26:23Speaker 2: they crack it on the kid's head.
- 1:26:25Speaker 3: What?
- 1:26:25Speaker 2: And they film it and post it.
- 1:26:27Speaker 3: Really?
- 1:26:28Speaker 2: And sometimes the kid is like, what? And crying. And
- 1:26:31Speaker 2: people are like, this is so awful. First of all,
- 1:26:34Speaker 2: this kid is going to be traumatized.
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:26:36Speaker 2: They're not going to trust you.
- 1:26:37Speaker 6: No.
- 1:26:38Speaker 2: And they also were so excited to cook with you. Like,
- 1:26:40Speaker 2: it's so mean. And then this one woman did it
- 1:26:43Speaker 2: where she's like, let's, you know, and then she was
- 1:26:46Speaker 2: about to crack it. Then she cracked it on her
- 1:26:47Speaker 2: own head.
- 1:26:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:26:49Speaker 2: And the kid was still a little freaked out. But
- 1:26:51Speaker 2: at least people were like, at least that's a nicer mother.
- 1:26:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:26:56Speaker 2: People, I mean, I don't- The pranking your kids.
- 1:26:59Speaker 3: It's just worse.
- 1:26:59Speaker 2: Do you remember when the Jimmy Kimmel, we ate all
- 1:27:03Speaker 2: the candy?
- 1:27:03Speaker 3: Yeah, the candy.
- 1:27:04Speaker 2: And everyone thought that was great until someone pointed out, like,
- 1:27:07Speaker 2: it's not great.
- 1:27:08Speaker 3: I remember watching the first one. I'm like, I feel
- 1:27:10Speaker 3: like that's a cruel thing to do.
- 1:27:11Speaker 2: To trick them and make them think that.
- 1:27:16Speaker 3: And yeah, because I mean- I went to Home Depot
- 1:27:20Speaker 3: with my daughter last night.
- 1:27:22Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:27:22Speaker 3: We had a bit of a sink issue.
- 1:27:24Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:27:25Speaker 3: Clogged. Okay. I'm not going to do a commercial here,
- 1:27:28Speaker 3: but let me just say Drano works. You ever use Drano? Oh,
- 1:27:32Speaker 3: my God. It works.
- 1:27:34Speaker 2: Yes. Peter has had to do the Drano because, you know,
- 1:27:36Speaker 2: I have a lot of hair. I have a lot
- 1:27:37Speaker 2: of fake eyelashes that.
- 1:27:38Speaker 3: Go down the drain. Anyway, enough about Drano.
- 1:27:41Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:27:42Speaker 3: Took my daughter a 7.30 last night to Home Depot.
- 1:27:44Speaker 2: Fun.
- 1:27:45Speaker 3: And they got a lot of Halloween decorations out. Big, giant,
- 1:27:50Speaker 3: scary things. And you could press a button and they'll all,
- 1:27:53Speaker 3: you know, but the kids get to press the button.
- 1:27:56Speaker 3: And my daughter was kind of scared by some of them. Yeah.
- 1:27:59Speaker 3: And I don't know, maybe I was a little like
- 1:28:01Speaker 3: these people because I was like, well, there's other little
- 1:28:02Speaker 3: kids doing it. They're not that scary. Just pretend. She's like,
- 1:28:05Speaker 3: I'm scared by it. And I was like, oh, come on.
- 1:28:08Speaker 3: It's not that scary. But anyway, now she wants to
- 1:28:11Speaker 3: buy the 25-foot skeleton that everyone's buying. It's a hot
- 1:28:15Speaker 3: seller at Home Depot. Are you going to get it?
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: 200, 300 bucks.
- 1:28:17Speaker 3: Why wouldn't I? You should get it. But I have
- 1:28:22Speaker 3: such large hedges and I live behind such big gates
- 1:28:25Speaker 3: that I don't even know if you could see it
- 1:28:26Speaker 3: over my gates.
- 1:28:27Speaker 2: But you don't want to put it in front of
- 1:28:28Speaker 2: the gates?
- 1:28:29Speaker 3: No, somebody will steal it.
- 1:28:31Speaker 2: It's too big to steal.
- 1:28:32Speaker 3: You don't think so?
- 1:28:33Speaker 2: I would do it in front of the gate.
- 1:28:34Speaker 3: Yeah, maybe in front of the gates.
- 1:28:35Speaker 2: We'd have to. And then we had a, Peter and
- 1:28:38Speaker 2: I went to a Halloween party and I was Little
- 1:28:42Speaker 2: Red Riding Hood.
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:28:44Speaker 3: Which is hot.
- 1:28:44Speaker 2: Yeah. And then he's a wolf. And he had like
- 1:28:47Speaker 2: a wolf head that he wore for like a couple
- 1:28:48Speaker 2: photos and took it off. I think before we had kids,
- 1:28:52Speaker 2: like we were, the trick-or-treating happened.
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:28:55Speaker 2: And he did exactly this. He came out and did
- 1:28:58Speaker 2: the wolf face.
- 1:28:59Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:29:01Speaker 2: And the kid screamed, and we felt so bad.
- 1:29:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:29:04Speaker 2: And then we didn't realize that one time we were
- 1:29:06Speaker 2: just doing it for fun, and it freaked out our
- 1:29:08Speaker 2: cat so much.
- 1:29:10Speaker 3: Really?
- 1:29:10Speaker 2: Yeah. Because it looks like a fucking wolf.
- 1:29:12Speaker 3: I know. Yeah, that's not good.
- 1:29:14Speaker 2: No, it is mean. It is really mean. Last story.
- 1:29:18Speaker 2: Steve Harvey sets the record straight on Marjorie, his wife,
- 1:29:23Speaker 2: cheating rumors. So, for some reason, these rumors started that
- 1:29:27Speaker 2: she was cheating with her bodyguard and chef.
- 1:29:30Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:29:31Speaker 2: Which, by the way, how nice if you have a
- 1:29:33Speaker 2: chef who also doubles as a bodyguard's driver.
- 1:29:37Speaker 3: And fuck you.
- 1:29:38Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:29:38Speaker 3: I mean, that is amazing.
- 1:29:42Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:29:43Speaker 2: And, you know, and they're just like, I don't know. Like,
- 1:29:47Speaker 2: what do you think? And I just am like …
- 1:29:51Speaker 2: I always think any of these rumors, like unless there's
- 1:29:53Speaker 2: an actual girl that comes forward.
- 1:29:56Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:29:56Speaker 2: Like with, you know, like Jesse James and Sandra Bullock. Right.
- 1:30:02Speaker 2: Like when that girl came forward, that tattooed porn star
- 1:30:06Speaker 2: that was like, here's the letters. Here's where I went
- 1:30:09Speaker 2: to his place and screwed him on this couch. And
- 1:30:13Speaker 2: I have, you know, and there was no doubt that
- 1:30:17Speaker 2: it was true. Then you found out there were all
- 1:30:18Speaker 2: those others.
- 1:30:19Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:30:19Speaker 2: I just feel like anybody can just say these things.
- 1:30:22Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:30:23Speaker 2: Or send it to DuBois or whatever. I saw Heather's husband,
- 1:30:27Speaker 2: Peter Tobias, at a gay bar.
- 1:30:29Speaker 3: Uh-huh.
- 1:30:30Speaker 2: I mean, not that she would post something like that,
- 1:30:32Speaker 2: but she could. Because she's like, I'm not saying it's true.
- 1:30:36Speaker 3: I'm not.
- 1:30:36Speaker 2: And then, you know, and it really wasn't. One time
- 1:30:40Speaker 2: there was a rumor about me cheating.
- 1:30:42Speaker 3: Oh, really?
- 1:30:43Speaker 2: I was so flattered.
- 1:30:45Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a good one.
- 1:30:46Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:30:46Speaker 3: Who were you cheating with?
- 1:30:48Speaker 2: They're just like, oh, she cheats on her husband when
- 1:30:50Speaker 2: she's like on the road or something. And I was like,
- 1:30:53Speaker 2: oh my God, I love that. But if I did
- 1:30:57Speaker 2: cheat on the road, then I would be more panicked.
- 1:31:01Speaker 2: And I think that maybe I would be like, I
- 1:31:02Speaker 2: have got to put these rumors to rest. Yeah. But
- 1:31:06Speaker 2: I think when you know that there's absolutely nothing.
- 1:31:09Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:31:11Speaker 2: So I think if you are cheating, the thing to
- 1:31:13Speaker 2: do is not to get upset about it. To be like,
- 1:31:17Speaker 2: all right.
- 1:31:17Speaker 3: Right, right.
- 1:31:19Speaker 2: And wait till real evidence comes. But be like, thanks
- 1:31:22Speaker 2: for thinking I can get laid. Like, I'm pretty busy.
- 1:31:26Speaker 2: You have to act like that.
- 1:31:27Speaker 3: And your audience, I mean, I don't even know if
- 1:31:29Speaker 3: there's anybody out there for you to cheat with in
- 1:31:31Speaker 3: your shows, you know? It's like, oh, it's like women
- 1:31:35Speaker 3: and married couples and stuff.
- 1:31:36Speaker 2: And gay guys.
- 1:31:37Speaker 3: Yeah, and gay guys.
- 1:31:38Speaker 2: I know.
- 1:31:39Speaker 3: It's a tough one.
- 1:31:40Speaker 2: This guy booked a villa for his family for the
- 1:31:43Speaker 2: first vacation in 11 years in Spain. And it was
- 1:31:46Speaker 2: all a fake thing.
- 1:31:47Speaker 3: Yeah, I've heard this.
- 1:31:48Speaker 2: Got there. No one was there to greet him at
- 1:31:52Speaker 2: the airport. When he tried to call, text, WhatsApp, whatever,
- 1:31:57Speaker 2: no one answered. Like the address didn't exist. He already
- 1:32:00Speaker 2: gave them two grand. Now he's stuck in Spain.
- 1:32:03Speaker 3: These scams are so easy to spot from a mile away.
- 1:32:06Speaker 3: You know, I don't know how people get caught up
- 1:32:08Speaker 3: in them, but I could tell, like if I read
- 1:32:11Speaker 3: the whole story, I'd be like showing you the red
- 1:32:13Speaker 3: flags along the way. You know, it's always, yeah. Just
- 1:32:18Speaker 3: rent a hotel. What are you doing?
- 1:32:21Speaker 2: Well, he had a family of five.
- 1:32:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:32:25Speaker 2: I don't know. I do think– I mean I do
- 1:32:26Speaker 2: think there are those stories of– there's so many stories.
- 1:32:30Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:32:30Speaker 2: So many that there's like hidden cameras and then of
- 1:32:33Speaker 2: course there's too many rules and all that. But then
- 1:32:35Speaker 2: there's also like there's times when it's been double booked.
- 1:32:38Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:32:38Speaker 2: And you get there and somebody is already there.
- 1:32:40Speaker 3: You need to– Be more like the Franjolas and just
- 1:32:43Speaker 3: never go on vacation ever. We went to Jellystone Park,
- 1:32:47Speaker 3: which is a campground, a Yogi Bear themed campground. This
- 1:32:52Speaker 3: is all true. That's where we went for our vacations.
- 1:32:56Speaker 3: Jellystone Park, five o'clock every night in a golf cart.
- 1:33:01Speaker 3: Yogi Bear would drive around the campsite and wave to
- 1:33:05Speaker 3: the kids and throw candy out from the back of
- 1:33:09Speaker 3: the golf cart. And the kids would run after it.
- 1:33:12Speaker 3: Pick it up. That was a vacation. Nobody was scammed.
- 1:33:15Speaker 2: No. Peter always will say if the kids ever complain
- 1:33:20Speaker 2: about anything.
- 1:33:21Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:33:22Speaker 2: He'll be like, well, maybe you'd like to go to
- 1:33:25Speaker 2: a Motel 6.
- 1:33:26Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:33:27Speaker 2: And sleep in the bathtub while I snore because that's
- 1:33:31Speaker 2: what I lived through as a kid.
- 1:33:33Speaker 3: That was his vacations?
- 1:33:34Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:33:34Speaker 2: His dad would snore when he was on a swim
- 1:33:36Speaker 2: meet trip and he couldn't escape the sound. And they're
- 1:33:41Speaker 2: all in the same room so that he would sleep
- 1:33:43Speaker 2: in the bathtub.
- 1:33:44Speaker 4: Wow.
- 1:33:45Speaker 2: And I'm like, well, it's never going to happen because
- 1:33:47Speaker 2: we're never going to go to the Motel 6 to
- 1:33:50Speaker 2: make these kids suffer.
- 1:33:52Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:33:52Speaker 2: So, like, what's the point of your story? Like, they're
- 1:33:56Speaker 2: always like, Dad, like, stop.
- 1:33:57Speaker 5: Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:33:58Speaker 2: I'm like, you go to the Motel 6 and get
- 1:34:00Speaker 2: back in the bathtub.
- 1:34:02Speaker 3: Chris.
- 1:34:02Speaker 2: Chris. Tell everyone what your next, well, we have a
- 1:34:06Speaker 2: show together.
- 1:34:06Speaker 3: We have a show together.
- 1:34:07Speaker 2: We're coming to- We are coming to Sacramento.
- 1:34:09Speaker 3: Sacramento, San Francisco.
- 1:34:11Speaker 2: On the September 29th, big show, big live show.
- 1:34:15Speaker 3: Sacramento the 29th, San Francisco the 30th.
- 1:34:17Speaker 2: We need to take a good photo for that right now.
- 1:34:19Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:34:20Speaker 2: And then San Francisco is Saturday night the 30th.
- 1:34:22Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:34:23Speaker 2: And what else do you have, Chris?
- 1:34:26Speaker 3: Well, next Friday night, the 1st of September, I'm at
- 1:34:28Speaker 3: the Montserrat Winery in like Temecula, Fallbrook, California. I know.
- 1:34:34Speaker 3: That's a last minute thing.
- 1:34:35Speaker 2: I've been to the wineries in Temecula. Very fun.
- 1:34:37Speaker 3: I don't know if I'm pronouncing that correctly, but I'll
- 1:34:39Speaker 3: be there. Then I'm at Magoobie's in Baltimore, the September 13th, Baltimore, Magoobie's.
- 1:34:44Speaker 3: You ever been there?
- 1:34:45Speaker 2: No, but I like the name.
- 1:34:46Speaker 3: It's been a while. I haven't been there. Pittsburgh Improv. Fun. 14th, September.
- 1:34:51Speaker 3: I've never been to Pittsburgh in my life, ever. Have
- 1:34:53Speaker 3: you played Pittsburgh Improv?
- 1:34:54Speaker 2: I feel like I haven't.
- 1:34:55Speaker 3: Yeah, I've heard of good things.
- 1:34:56Speaker 2: I don't think I have. Okay, good.
- 1:34:58Speaker 3: And then I'm at Bethlehem, Pennsylvania the next night, September
- 1:35:02Speaker 3: 15th at the ArtsQuest, you know, Steel Stacks, ArtsQuest. You
- 1:35:08Speaker 3: know where it is. Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Just go to- Frangola.fun,
- 1:35:11Speaker 3: cover to cover.
- 1:35:12Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:35:12Speaker 3: That's my podcast. Come over and listen to that, everything else.
- 1:35:15Speaker 3: How's everything over here? Everything's good? How about a juicy scoop?
- 1:35:18Speaker 5: Yes.
- 1:35:19Speaker 3: Wild time.
- 1:35:20Speaker 2: The summer is over.
- 1:35:21Speaker 3: Yeah. How do you feel about summer being over? You
- 1:35:23Speaker 3: want it to continue or you happy with?
- 1:35:26Speaker 2: I'm going to say something bold and I think people should,
- 1:35:28Speaker 2: you know, how people want to get rid of like
- 1:35:30Speaker 2: daylight savings. I think we need to adjust the summertime.
- 1:35:35Speaker 2: Why is it that people are getting out like end
- 1:35:38Speaker 2: of May and then have to go to back to
- 1:35:40Speaker 2: school in August when it's cold in June? It's cold
- 1:35:43Speaker 2: in July. If the world is changing, why? If I
- 1:35:47Speaker 2: was the mayor.
- 1:35:48Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:35:49Speaker 2: Okay, of LA or any other small town, I would say,
- 1:35:53Speaker 2: let's look at our weather, okay?
- 1:35:55Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:35:56Speaker 2: The best months are July, August, or middle of July, August, September.
- 1:36:02Speaker 2: It's hot all the way till middle of October. Why
- 1:36:05Speaker 2: don't we start summer later? Why are we starting? It's
- 1:36:09Speaker 2: like every year it starts earlier. Why are kids going
- 1:36:11Speaker 2: back to school like August 10th?
- 1:36:13Speaker 3: I know. We might have to work on that.
- 1:36:15Speaker 2: I really think it should be Until the end of
- 1:36:17Speaker 2: September is summer. It should be July, August, September, because
- 1:36:21Speaker 2: those are the better weather months.
- 1:36:23Speaker 3: Yeah. That's a good idea.
- 1:36:24Speaker 2: I am going to work on that. Let's get that going.
- 1:36:26Speaker 2: And I don't know why no one else has thought
- 1:36:28Speaker 2: of it.
- 1:36:28Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:36:28Speaker 2: But you know what? You can take that.
- 1:36:30Speaker 3: I'll take, yeah. I'm not going to run for any
- 1:36:32Speaker 3: political office, but if I do. I don't.
- 1:36:35Speaker 2: Do you imagine me running for it? Oh, God. I
- 1:36:38Speaker 2: can't even take the people that aren't happy with the
- 1:36:40Speaker 2: things I say on my own podcast. Yeah. I'd be destroyed.
- 1:36:44Speaker 3: Yeah. I know. It's a. I don't know why anybody
- 1:36:46Speaker 3: would want to do that.
- 1:36:47Speaker 2: I know.
- 1:36:48Speaker 3: That's a rough go.
- 1:36:49Speaker 2: Anyway. Okay. Well, I love you. Goodbye.
