- 0:00You know, if you've ever been like in the dating scene, you know,
- 0:03in your heart of hearts, you know there are things about you that
- 0:05aren't they're not all great, right, we can all admit there's something weird
- 0:09about us makes us unique, but you don't want to share it right away.
- 0:12You want to ease them into the weirdness. But there are people out
- 0:15there, Amanda, who will just in their dating bio include weird things.
- 0:19I kind of like that because it'll get your attention, and you know it's
- 0:22like, hey, this is the worst to me. That means you'll probably
- 0:24like the best of me. I found a list of the weirdest dating bios
- 0:28people have seen online. Okay, and you want to hear something because first
- 0:31one starts like this quote, I'm annoying, will always be fighting. I'll
- 0:38say I hate you, but you'll always come crawling back. That's pretty fun,
- 0:44all right. I don't doubt that you know what I mean, Like
- 0:47I don't. That's a thing that happens often. Yeah, but just to
- 0:49come out and say it very transparent, but you know it might pique your
- 0:53interest because what's going to make me want to come crawling back? What is
- 0:56it about you? You? Have to take me on a date to find
- 0:59out. How about this weird dating bile. Let me be your next big
- 1:03mistake. I'm definitely not the one, but I promise you'll still be thinking
- 1:07about me long after that one doesn't hit. That sounds like a one night
- 1:11deal. Yeah, exactly, And if that's what you're there for, great,
- 1:15I guess maybe it's fantastic. This one says somebody found a profile picture
- 1:21that the guy had a picture of his daughter who had a tube up her
- 1:26nose and looked really ill. So obviously sick daughter. Horrible, But is
- 1:33your dating profile pick? I mean, I guess you're just being very honest,
- 1:37like, hey, this is this is my life. This is probably
- 1:38the number one person in my life and you need to know that going into
- 1:42it. I admire this. I admire it you do. So people are
- 1:47swiping, They're just swiping their dudes. You're gonna go, Wow, you're
- 1:53a great dad or you're a dad. That's just bizarre. Just a second
- 1:57picture, we can admit it's bizarre without being and sensitive to the ill child.
- 2:00Is he in the picture or is it just the chilnds? Like it's
- 2:04just a zoom up of her in the hospital bed. Like in your bio,
- 2:07maybe say, you know dad of so and so who is ill?
- 2:13Love her very much. Here's a picture of me. Somebody to appreciate a
- 2:17picture of him exactly? Who's gonna just blindly swipe on this ill child guessing
- 2:23that dad is maybe attractive? Hard to say, got a good heart?
- 2:29Hard to say this one. You'll appreciate this. This weird dating bio says,
- 2:31simply looking to lick feet? No pass But again, no, you
- 2:38know that this is what you like. And instead of them finding out like
- 2:40three dates in yeah, no, that would that would be a deal breaker
- 2:45for me. Yeah, oh gosh, would you let me ask you this?
- 2:47Would you because you're very anti feet? Yes, we get that,
- 2:52But would you rather lick feet? Or would you rather have somebody lick your
- 2:54feet? Of course somebody could lick my feet. I'm not licking your foot.
- 2:59Not a chance I would vomit. Is it really that bad? Oh,
- 3:02it's just skin. It's a little tougher than most skin. But that's
- 3:07not even that. Uh no, gross, stop, we don't even move.
- 3:14We'll move on from that. Another weird dating bio. This is what
- 3:17the person A woman said, this my reproductive organs are intact. Okay,
- 3:23my hygiene well maintained. And yet I've been unable to find a suitable marriage
- 3:27partner, at least one I'm not related to. So that's a silly that's
- 3:32a you're being a silly goose. That's good at least cousin Joe swiping right.
- 3:44I guess that makes the thing that she actually found somebody that was a
- 3:47family member that she was into. It got her. Now I have questions.
- 3:52Here's one. Uh, somebody in their dating bio just said requirements must
- 3:57not have slept with over five men. Hmm okay, how would you feel
- 4:01about that? Yeah? How would you? Jeeze? That's an extreme lady,
- 4:09how would you feel? Yeah? Five? Geez? Whoa save it
- 4:12for your husband? How'd you feel about that? Yeah? That's how I
- 4:17feel. And the weirdest dating bio is finally somebody put the most alpha male
- 4:25on the planet. Now that gets you going no easy on the Royd's bud.
- 4:31I guess, yeah, that's but that's not gonna. I mean,
- 4:33the truth is, we're all we're all weird in certain ways, but you
- 4:35don't put it in your dating bio. So what would you say? Man?
- 4:38If you had to give a very honest dating bio about yourself, what's
- 4:41the weirdest thing you would have to include? So I went a totally different
- 4:44direction with this in my head. But the weirdest thing that I do that
- 4:47I cannot help is every time I walk by a mirror, look in a
- 4:51mirror. I always do duclips. This is ever since I was a little
- 4:55kid. It's impossible for me to do. You're obsessed with yourself. That's
- 4:59fine, maybe that maybe that'd be my bio. Look, but it's impossible.
- 5:03If your bio should say looking for someone like me, but a male
- 5:08looking for me in male form, that's weird. I don't. I don't
- 5:12want me in male form. Love you, That's not true. In the
- 5:16mirror, it's it's just like an instant, like if I put mascara on
- 5:21my lips. Good, I've seen it. I've seen it many times.
- 5:25It's the most bizarre thing. And I try, I physically try to not
- 5:29do it, and I I almost can't. I have to think so hard
- 5:33about it. I would say the weirdest if I had to put the weird
- 5:36thing about me in the dating bio, like definitely would just be more open
- 5:39about the food situation. You know, me eating like very eating shrimp tails,
- 5:45chewing on steak bones like I'm a dog, because would like you eat
- 5:49like a dog and d a w G just prepared for like like buffet man,
- 5:55would you be very honest about the fact, like you attack a Chinese
- 5:59buffet. One we're gonna be eating Chinese buffets every Sunday, and two you're
- 6:02going to be disgusted about the size of the plate. I load up and
- 6:06still eat. Is that weird or is that sort of a sort of It
- 6:12depends, you know, if I'm if I'm hungover swiping and I see that
- 6:15a guy wants to go to a Chinese buffet, I'm swiping right in the
- 6:20morning, big nutty eight point seven. I'm not sure how to feel about
- 6:24this, So I'd like you to tell me how to feel, if you
- 6:25don't mind him. Donnie Wahlberg, you know, you know Donnie? Oh
- 6:29yeah? Was he the middle Wallberg? The young one? I don't know.
- 6:31He's new kids on the right. So he's dating Jenny McCarthy. I
- 6:36get married an' yeah, they're they're dating so hard they're married. And so
- 6:42he was just getting the facts straight here he's on the Drew Barrymore show.
- 6:46She was the one from E T The Little Girl, and he's talking about
- 6:49his marriage with Jenny McCarthy and obviously they both have their own ventures. They're
- 6:53doing their own thing. So a lot of nights apart. And this is
- 6:56what he said, they do when they're sleeping apart. We now have the
- 7:00luxury of being able to sleep together when we're apart. So whoever's going to
- 7:02sleep first just calls the other one. We spend the whole night together when
- 7:05we're not together. And look, that's not that we're insecure or that we
- 7:11need to do this. We love to do it. Oh, I get
- 7:13not vibes. I love my worst person making me think technology is a good
- 7:18thing. Great, It's like, why not, right, why not?
- 7:21We're we're going to miss each other. Why wake up saying oh my god,
- 7:25I missed you. I woke up at three in the morning. I
- 7:27tell her, if you wake up at three in the morning, can't sleep,
- 7:29just tap me on the shoulder through the phone and I'll wake up and
- 7:32and we'll be awake together. So what do you think is it literally facetiming
- 7:35each other for the entire night? Is this adorable, like Drew Barrymore seemed
- 7:42to think so, or is it like, Okay, I just want to
- 7:44see that you're sleeping alone. I'm not getting positive vibes, negative vibes.
- 7:49I'm getting uncomfortable vibes, like it's just sleeping next to a phone, Like
- 7:55I just want I just want to hear you snore, honey, I just
- 7:58want to roll over and here you go. Okay, it's not creepy.
- 8:00I mean they're married, you know, I know. I just it's either
- 8:03totally really healthy to have a little time apart. That's when you really you
- 8:07know, they say absence makes the heart girl fonder. In my mind,
- 8:11and I'm trying not to generalize because I'm sure they're happy, they're in love.
- 8:16I'm thinking Singled Out Jenny McCarthy back in the day and him just being
- 8:20insecure because she's just a wild and crazy person. He says, I didn't
- 8:24watch Singled Out. You didn't on MTV? Oh dare I know? Oh
- 8:28my gosh, that was classic one of my like late nineties, early nineties.
- 8:35Actually I wasn't allowed to watch it then anyway. Well that you know,
- 8:39I lean that way too. I think I think You're probably right because,
- 8:43for instance, and like if Nick is deer hunting you, you FaceTime
- 8:48before bed, and a lot of times it's mainly because of the kids.
- 8:50I'm good with you. Go and do your thing, shoot a text,
- 8:54good night, love you. I'll wake up in the middle of the night,
- 8:56and both of us do. If it's gone. If he's gone for
- 8:58a couple days, said like that, Oh, you know, I really
- 9:01miss you. It was weird not having you. Do you have those conversations?
- 9:05Yeah, I just can't imagine him being there the whole time, I
- 9:09know. And if you're sleeping alone, like there's certain things you do that
- 9:13like I don't want to be waking you up because you know, God,
- 9:15if I have a hotel room to myself, I'm letting it rip. Okay,
- 9:18it's gonna say, I mean, my god, it's gonna sound like
- 9:20those trumpeters when the King arrives Amanda in the morning and now Amanda stills the
- 9:26sea looks see Bronzy by part Company Realtors. All right. Meila Kunas confirmed
- 9:33that she and Ashton Kutcher will not return for season two of that nineties show.
- 9:37I saw that and went, oh my gosh, I missed it,
- 9:41did they not? I didn't watch a single episode. A lot of promotion
- 9:45around it right away, there was a lot of height, but I forgot
- 9:46it and it happened. You know. It's just like all these reboots,
- 9:50they're not really for us. It's like for a new generation, you know.
- 9:52So I guess so they said that they weren't going to be doing it
- 9:54though, kind of an underlying thing that we also forgot about the Danny masters
- 9:58in Black backlash. Remember they wrote letters in support of Danny Masterson. They've
- 10:03been keeping a low profile ever since. She did say, I mean,
- 10:07we did our thing, and they introduced our son to the show. We
- 10:09introduced our son to the show, and that was enough for us. So
- 10:11it was their son. He was like the main character and he goes to
- 10:15live with Red and Kitty. Maybe I should watch it. That was such
- 10:18a great show. It really was. You think they'll keep doing them like
- 10:22two thousand show and then after that, what do you say, ten twenties.
- 10:28I guess we're in the roar end twenty That is gonna be so weird.
- 10:33Oh. Jerry Seinfeld looks back at the end of Seinfeld with mixed emotions.
- 10:37Did you see this interview, I thought you would enjoy this, Pike.
- 10:41He admitted that the ending was a little I mean, he kind of
- 10:43bothered him a little bit. Now, I think what bother him was probably
- 10:46more people's reaction. You know, people hate it on it so much.
- 10:50I think it's fine. It's a good finale for a sitcom. So that
- 10:54was hissing. He said it wasn't quite satisfying, but he doesn't dwell on
- 10:58it too much. He doesn't believe in a regress. Yeah, has there
- 11:01ever been a finale that you were like, yeah, that ended? That
- 11:05ended so good, because you always want more if it's something that you love.
- 11:07All right, people are so critical of them. I'm never never that
- 11:09way. Like to me, it's just however you chose to end it.
- 11:13It's your show. You're writing it, like Game of Thrones for example.
- 11:16You know people ripped that final season, final episode so much. I'm just
- 11:20like, I don't know, just it's good enough for me. It was
- 11:22a good show. It's a good ending. What about you, what's the
- 11:26worst finale you've seen. I'm trying to remember what show I actually saw through.
- 11:31You just have a commitment issue. Seriously, by the time I get
- 11:33to like like shameless, I was all in and then all this su it
- 11:37just it got to like season six seven, and you're like, Okay,
- 11:41Gallagher, I'm over it. I know, I got real. Just start
- 11:43getting to that place where I'm like, but that did You didn't watch the
- 11:46finale? Uh huh? Oh? Interesting? Should I know? That?
- 11:50Is it worth a watch? It is? You get a little emotional.
- 11:52Oh, I'm sure that whole show was a roller coaster of emotions. I
- 11:56mean, you never get too sad, but you know, I'll say,
- 11:58somebody dies at the end spoiler. Yeah, yeah, maybe go watch it.
- 12:03Okay, could be all right. Kim Kardashian says she is over the
- 12:09Taylor drama. Those close to we're saying that she thinks Taite should move on.
- 12:13She doesn't get why Taylor keeps harping on it. It's been literally years,
- 12:18Kim says. Meanwhile, she's got her people. She just reports it
- 12:22to and then they say so it's never basically said here, this is what
- 12:26we're gonna put out into the atmosphere. Somebody pick it up. Meanwhile,
- 12:30Kim posted a photo of Carly Klass on her Instagram stories. You're probably thinking,
- 12:33who cares. What was a close friend of Taylor Swift. They had
- 12:35a falling out, So throwing some shade even though she's trying to act like
- 12:39she's taken the high road. You didn't have to post. It's the right
- 12:43thing to say. It makes Taylor look silly if all you do is be
- 12:45like, I've moved on years ago, what is she still talking about it?
- 12:50Jeez, Taylor, are you obsessed with me or what? Yep?
- 12:52That's uh kind of the only way to handle it. Well, for sure.
- 12:56The Kardashian playbook, Yeah, I wish you would have written like a
- 13:00rebuttal, like a come out with her own song bashing Tailor. It would
- 13:05didn't Kim come out with a song. I'm sure she was like rapping on
- 13:09something or there was something else. The Hill had a really good song out
- 13:13there, actually, so you know, possibly so Kim Kardashian. By the
- 13:16way, she was on Jimmy Kimmel the other night and she said life is
- 13:18good. She did not talk about the Tailor drama, but she was admitting
- 13:22to some wearily weird things that have been revealed about her, and Jimmy was
- 13:26like, is this really true? She says, yeah, she blow drives
- 13:30her jewelry before she puts it on because she doesn't like cold metal. She
- 13:33also has an assistant who takes the cardboard off of your coffee cup because she
- 13:41can't stand the sound of a cardboard being pulled off of a coffee cup.
- 13:45She said, it is like nails on a chalkboard to her. Okay,
- 13:48and Jimmy, Kim, do you have an assistant just for that? Probably
- 13:52putting the blow drying the jewelry though, it's kind of like when you throw
- 13:54your pants in the dryer before you put on all that nice but you don't
- 13:58want a too hot Then when you button him up, that little piece of
- 14:01metal on the button that can burn your tummy pretty good. Yeah, Amanda
- 14:05in the morning on sign, this is just probably the worst condition anybody could
- 14:11ever have. A man has been acquitted on drunk driving charges, which you
- 14:16don't see that often. It's pretty cut and dry, right, you bleue
- 14:20over the percentage of blood alcohol content and that's a wrap. Yeah, ten
- 14:24thousand bucks whatever, Well not. This guy is a very special case.
- 14:28A Belgian man was arrested for drunk driving after he blew over the limit.
- 14:33However, it was not known at the time to the police officer that the
- 14:37man suffers from a rare condition called auto brewery syndrome. What the heck is
- 14:43that otto brewery? I mean, it sounds like it has something to do
- 14:46with a brewery. Well, in a way, his body is a brewery
- 14:50because the man generates alcohol without actually consuming alcohol, stopping the same alcohol used
- 14:58in the beverages like hops and stuff like. He's an actual internal brewery.
- 15:03So inside of him there is alcohol, now, nothing he put inside of
- 15:07himself. But patients with this rare auto brewery syndrome have symptoms consistent with alcohol
- 15:13intoxication, such as slurred speech, oh yeah, stumbling, sure, a
- 15:18couple of classics like loss of motor function, dizziness, and my favorite,
- 15:22belching, all the telltale signs of a drunk. Yeah. So imagine if
- 15:28you're the police officer, you've heard it all right forever, of course,
- 15:31and this guy's trying to explain to you that he has a rare condition.
- 15:37Yeah. Meanwhile, everybody's like, hang on, how do you attest for
- 15:39this? Can I say I've got auto brewery? Well that's not enough.
- 15:43They literally had to go to court and they had three medical specialists testify that
- 15:48this is actually a thing. Oh man, So after all of that he's
- 15:52been acquitted. What a weird And I wonder if does that give him like
- 15:56the effects of essentially like an alcohol Like is his body deteriorating because he's in
- 16:03the body like in the body's eyes, he's just been drinking for years.
- 16:06It's very interesting to see how you would offset that, like if there would
- 16:10be anything you could do right, And if you do want to drink,
- 16:14is it double? Are you a double drunk? Now? Yeah? I
- 16:17feel like you're probably just so a walking buzz. Yeah, that's probably a
- 16:21good time at least. I don't I don't know. I don't think i'd
- 16:23like that being drunk all the time. Some people really enjoy I don't know.
- 16:29What's the weirdest you ever see? These weird rare conditions? The one
- 16:30that sticks with me. I think I saw one show when I was the
- 16:33kid. Somebody who had the hiccups and could not stop hiccuping. Have you
- 16:37seen I think it's probably the one guy like went his whole life years hit
- 16:41with the hiccups. Yeah, that would be up there with like continuously sneezing
- 16:45or if they're you know, any of those things. Would you rather have
- 16:48the hiccups or be drunk all the time? I guess give me Auto brewery.
- 16:55Now here's what you need to know. Well, the Senate has sent
- 16:57the Foreign eight package at the President's desk. This of course includes the TikTok
- 17:03ban. It gives TikTok's parents company, that is, Byte Dance, nine
- 17:06months to sell the social media app or see it banned in the US.
- 17:10So TikTok's I'm just gonna go away immediately. Because we do know President Biden
- 17:14already said he's going to sign this. He could extend the deadline for another
- 17:17three months, giving byte Dance a year to sell TikTok. A sale might
- 17:21take longer than that, probably not likely. US users only make up about
- 17:25two percent of the app's users. In TikTok has said that they will fight
- 17:27the law in court once it's signed. That process could end up taking years.
- 17:33I'm still so confused, and maybe if I did any research at all,
- 17:36I could find the answers. But is it because it's a Chinese company,
- 17:40Yeah, so they're basically intellectual property, stealing identity is going through that
- 17:44kind of stuff. Like so if we're only two percent of the users and
- 17:48what they're just going to probably not sell it right? Why would they sell
- 17:52over the two percent that we make up? These are questions I have personally,
- 17:56but I'm sort of a deep thinker. So we really appreciate these deep
- 18:00thoughts from you, Pike, We really do. Had anybody considered that downtown
- 18:06restaurants Sushi Burrita listed for sale on Facebook Marketplace? Did you see this yesterday?
- 18:10No? I was on Facebook Marketplace too, but I was looking for
- 18:12used iPads, not sushi burta restaurant, not full on restaurants. They say
- 18:17it's a great turnkey restaurant in the heart of downtown with an existing clientele.
- 18:22Everything is still in place to take over. Everything is in place to take
- 18:26over, so that would be like the recipes they provide all of their menu.
- 18:30They said that they will train whoever wants to purchase it. Contact anybody
- 18:36who's interesting. Is gonna get like the book contact them if anybody's interested,
- 18:41they have like their bookkeeping that they're going to give you. Well, that's
- 18:44how buying a business works, you know that you buy all of that.
- 18:47Just interesting to put it on marketplace. It is. I wonder how many
- 18:49is this still available messages they're getting just probably one after the other yes,
- 18:56or maybe they put in the listing, will not respond to is this still
- 18:59available? I don't know why people get to worked up about that. Yeah,
- 19:02I guess I would want I would want to know. I mean,
- 19:04what else, because then what else he's supposed to ask. He's supposed to
- 19:07like be assume it's available, because I did that yesterday and a guy finally
- 19:11responded, sorry, it's not available. So the one or two times that
- 19:14I've done anything on Facebook, when I'm either asking a question or I like
- 19:19inquiring about something, or I'm trying to sell something, I just delede it
- 19:22deleted immediately. I don't put sold because it's like now it's just gone.
- 19:26Yeah, it's a respectful thing to do because I got excited for a moment
- 19:29that I would have this great deal but nope, it's not available, and
- 19:33something I'm like a weird like clutter person. So even if it's like still
- 19:36lingering and it says it's sold, just delete it, Like what is the
- 19:40point? Somebody did tell me? Though? That way people can look and
- 19:42say, oh, you're a legit person. You've sold things in the pass.
- 19:47It kind of build your marketplace resume. It's this. I did buy
- 19:51an iPad a couple of weeks ago. Met a guy at a gas station
- 19:52and he was very adamant on me leading a review because yes, yeah,
- 19:56you gotta have a good track record. I guess did it? I mean,
- 19:59listen, it's it's eight out there. You gotta be careful when it
- 20:00comes to the Facebook marketplace dealings. Oh, absolutely, all right, Caitlyn
- 20:04Clark, she did sign a deal with Nike. It is eight years and
- 20:07she did get twenty eight million dollars. That a girl, What did you
- 20:14just say? Were you? What are you doing? You're just hanging out
- 20:18on your phone? Did somebody message you it on? I got a text?
- 20:21I got a text? Text? Yeah, I'm sorry. Would you
- 20:22like to share? What would you like to share with the class? No?
- 20:26Actually, somebody is offering to buy my ladder, and so I'm doing
- 20:29a little wheeling and dealing. Wait a minute, you have a ladder.
- 20:30You have a ladder, man, I'm a thirty three year old man.
- 20:33But where do you have it stored? Right now? In or Old in
- 20:36Florida. It's oh, nonetheless, it's an available ladder. So if anybody
- 20:40needs a step ladder. It's really and good, barely used. I think
- 20:42I hung a light fixture with it once. I'm sorry that I asked you
- 20:45to share with the class. Do you remember ever getting busted in school?
- 20:48What are you? What are you writing about? What are you whispering about?
- 20:52The most horrific thing that ever happened to me is I was passing a
- 20:53note back and forth with a lady when very young, and the teacher confiscated
- 20:59it and read it out loud. Oh, no, humiliating? What was
- 21:03in it? Sure? Going? Yeah? Homework instead? Jack? Yes
- 21:07or no? If you want to go around at the on that we don't
- 21:10have tires, We don't have time to get in all right, what's going
- 21:14on at DGF Junior High? Weather today is going to be beautiful. Get
- 21:18out and enjoy nothing but sunshine, no wind and a height of sixty six,
- 21:22like get a manda in the morning. Come on, get up on
- 21:25big. What age would you say is officially old age? They did a
- 21:30whole study, okay, determine what the actual old age? When does that
- 21:33really begin? Where are you at on this? Well, it's just interesting
- 21:37because, as this study revealed, obviously, depending on what age you are
- 21:41changes what you think is old? Oh yeah, like if you would ask
- 21:44me twenty years ago to be like fifty ninety or thirty, like the thought
- 21:48of being thirty when you're twenty one, dear god, and then now is
- 21:52a thirty three year old. I'm like, okay, well, actually you
- 21:53must still feel okay. So my guide is always So I have my stepdad,
- 21:57Lance Pants, who's older than you, yes, and older than you
- 22:03would assume. So as he's getting older, I'm like, oh my gosh,
- 22:07how old would you assume he is? So Like for me, he
- 22:08always feels like he's just like sixty, just stuck, stuck at sixty.
- 22:12But he's getting older. So it's like I feel like I keep again,
- 22:15keep like adding that to the labe. It seems like every year he adds
- 22:18another year. Dude, age crazy how that happens? Interesting? But they
- 22:22know they determined the age is seventy five that old age officially sets in.
- 22:27Obviously it varies depends on the person, but seventy five, because you know,
- 22:30life expectancy is going up, that's good news. You know what's retirement?
- 22:36Oh, sixty five I think is when you get your Social security right,
- 22:38I don't I feel like it, or like sixty six. I just
- 22:41feel like people again, shocker, aren't retiring as young either. No,
- 22:47they're trying to work a lot longer, or some people have it lucky and
- 22:52they're retiring sooner than that. But youoner like, you know, if you're
- 22:53like a public sector worker, you know, you get like a pension.
- 22:56I think you retire earlier and YadA YadA, but you know that's obviously well
- 23:00earned if you're working for the post office or whatever it may be. Yeah.
- 23:07Funny though, I just remember being going out to the bars when you're
- 23:10like twenty one, and you're downtown of course because you know you're young,
- 23:12and then you're seeing like twenty five year olds at the bar, and you
- 23:15just remember thinking like, what a sad life, How sad that that twenty
- 23:19five year old senior citizen is downtown at our bar. I don't remember that.
- 23:25I don't remember ever having those moments. Yeah, I think I've tried
- 23:30you, because so many times in my life I think you're too old for
- 23:33something, and then years go by and you look back and you're like,
- 23:34geez, what I you know, I wasn't at all. I remember thinking
- 23:37Amanda at one point in my life, I thought I was too old to
- 23:41learn how to play guitar, and look at what you didn't imagine. If
- 23:44I would have just stuck to that line of thinking, I thought, no
- 23:47way. If I start now, I could be in a band by the
- 23:49time I'm forty. There would be no low in standards if it wasn't for
- 23:52you picking up that gee time. I one day went to Margarite's music and
- 23:56morehead Rest in Peace, got who's the guitar? And look at us now?
- 24:00Man that look at us? Go yeah. I think a lot of
- 24:03times when like girlfriends and I get together, it's like, oh, my
- 24:07gosh, how old were our parents and where we were at when we were
- 24:11their age? You know how old? Well you see photos from back in
- 24:14the day and how different people looked. I get, let's say, thirty
- 24:17five years old, a thirty five year old today versus a thirty five year
- 24:19old in like the eighties. They look like once she hit thirty, you
- 24:22just turned into a grandma. You know, you just you get the hair
- 24:25cut, wear. It's definitely the hairstyle, but and then the big glasses.
- 24:30It's just like, oh, that's a thirty year old. So is
- 24:32that gonna happen to us now, like is Sidney Luay, I'm gonna be
- 24:36like, oh my gosh, my mom. Or she's gonna look back and
- 24:40she's like wow. She wore cheetah print from the time she was born until
- 24:45she died and Amanda in the morning on sage seven. The internet is torn
- 24:52on this kid's situation. Eighteen year old kid wrote online about a predicament he
- 24:56found himself in when he was getting off of work real late, so eighteen
- 24:59years old. Imagine like when you're a teen, you're getting off you know,
- 25:00your RB shift whatever. A couple of his coworkers needed a ride,
- 25:04okay, so he agreed to give him a ride. And they're about,
- 25:07you know, five minute drive, so no big deal. But it's about
- 25:11a twenty minute walk and it was pretty chilly, like thirty forty degrees okay.
- 25:15So they get in the car, this eighteen year old kid and his
- 25:18two coworkers, and he said that he was waiting to hear the click of
- 25:22the seat belts because he's a seat belt guy. And when he didn't hear
- 25:26it, he said, oh, can you guys buckle up before we leave?
- 25:30And there was just silence and then one of them finally said, oh
- 25:33you're you're serious. He said, yeah, yeah, I'm not leaving until
- 25:38you guys are buckled up. Good for this kid, nice seat belt advocate.
- 25:42Right, So he said, you know, if we get pulled over,
- 25:45I don't want there to be a ticket, and obviously I don't want
- 25:48anybody to get hurt. And after they gave him some more hassle, he
- 25:51just finally said, all right, fine, get out. So the kids
- 25:53just got out and had to walk twenty minutes in thirty degree weather on them.
- 26:00I mean, you think so right, one hundred percent? I mean,
- 26:03what insane? And we all know people and maybe you're one of them
- 26:07who's just driving right now without your seat belt. That's your own choice.
- 26:08But you know, other people made good points like if you're in the back
- 26:11seat of my car when I'm driving, if you're not buckled up, like,
- 26:15yeah, you're risking your life. But also, you got one hundred
- 26:18and eighty pounds or however much your way of a projectile in my car.
- 26:22Now, if we can do an accident, you know what I mean,
- 26:25Oh totally could hurt you could hurt somebody else. I will admit if I
- 26:29am in the back seat of a car, I struggle sometimes, like putting
- 26:33a seat belt on just very odd. Why would you not do that?
- 26:37I don't. I don't know, Like depending on what kind of vehicle it
- 26:40is. If it's bucket seats, yeah easy, just toss it on.
- 26:42But sometimes if you're like in that and it's very rare that I'd be in
- 26:47like the very back of our vehicle, yeah, but just to like find
- 26:49the seat belt, because I don't know, it's a very different situation,
- 26:53like struggling, like literally struggling to get the buckle. Yeah. I mean,
- 26:57if you're all like you've ever been amed in three deep, this is
- 27:00what I'm saying. You gotta like, oh, you got to reach under
- 27:03somebody's rear and get digging around like, oh wait, that's yours, that's
- 27:07your buckle. Hang on. So that situation I have passed on. I
- 27:11will be one hundred percent honest on that. But in your vehicle, it's
- 27:15like within instantly you just put on your seatbelt. Well, some people don't.
- 27:19A lot of people don't, especially back in the day. I remember
- 27:22it like growing that was before that. Yeah, over and over seen.
- 27:27Some people go to the length of like buckling it behind them. No,
- 27:32yeah, literally buckling the seatbelt and then like sitting on top of it so
- 27:36it doesn't beep. But it's just like, yeah, what I get,
- 27:38they're not the most comfortable thing. But it doesn't even fail me anymore.
- 27:42It really just doesn't. Right. I will say, I'm not trying to
- 27:45sound like, you know, holier than now. You can say a lot
- 27:48of bad things about me, but one you can't say is that I don't
- 27:51wear my seatbelt. Yeah. I mean I also grew up in the time
- 27:53where I would ride in the back of my dad's truck bed. Yeah,
- 27:56going places on the highway. I mean that was just a time to be
- 28:00alive. And I would get so annoyed because my parents made me buckle up,
- 28:03and I remember it would be like a treat. I'd be like,
- 28:06do I have to buckle up? Like if we're not going very far,
- 28:07and it would be just a nice little treat. Did not have to wear
- 28:11my seatbelts. So we did this one time where the kids, like around
- 28:15the lake. We just let them because it was basically like not even half
- 28:22a block, so they were able to not be in their car seats and
- 28:25we're like a ninety acts, so that it's happened within a while the home
- 28:30and still to this day, I will never forget Sydney. It was her
- 28:33two year appointment at the doctor's office and they were like, hey, okay,
- 28:37and you're sitting your seatbelt or you sit in your car seat, and
- 28:40she goes, well, one time I got to ride dirty. Oh no,
- 28:44so she even said ride dirty. That's always it was. That's what
- 28:47you told them they were doing. Now, kids, so you know what
- 28:49this is. Yeah, you are as cha millionaire once set. I believe
- 28:55I did dirty. My husband I don't remember, but yeah. So now
- 28:57they think it's like, oh, can we ride dirty. It's like,
- 29:00nope, you can't. That's not an option. You gotta get in your
- 29:03seatbelts right now. Listen, everybody rides dirty every once in a while,
- 29:10maybe not at two years old. But I'm proud of this kid, I
- 29:12really am this. It's your vehicle. You are the one who would get
- 29:17the fine. You're not getting the fine for not wearing their seatbelts. Everybody
- 29:21has their own rules in their car. Don't touch the stereo, no tooting
- 29:26and release, roll the windows down, no touting,
