Transcript
- 0:00[SPEAKER_03]: Welcome in everyone to another installment of the orange and blue view podcast.
- 0:07[SPEAKER_03]: I'm one of your hosts, Ron White.
- 0:10[SPEAKER_03]: On that side of me, you know me, you love him, my co-host, Mr. Dylan Bon Arx.
- 0:17[SPEAKER_03]: Dylan, after a win on Thursday night football.
- 0:24[SPEAKER_03]: for your different brothels.
- 0:26[SPEAKER_03]: How are you doing on this week and extended?
- 0:30[SPEAKER_03]: And extended, call it the kind of those bigger bi leaks, if you will, how are you doing?
- 0:37[SPEAKER_01]: Not doing too bad and I guess we'll just get this out of the way at the top of the show.
- 0:43[SPEAKER_01]: I talked around a little bit before due to scheduling changes with my job, unforeseen scheduling changes.
- 0:51[SPEAKER_01]: This will be my last show for OBV for a little while until I can get my schedule figured out.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry to y'all who don't get to see this beautiful face here for a little while.
- 1:03[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, so we still see me in the morning shows popping in every once in a while, but as for now, this will be my last show on at least LBB for just a little bit, but let's get back to Broncos, man, that was an ugly win.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_01]: And we've said that probably almost every week this year, which is, we'll see how sustainable it is, but man, a win is a win at the end of the day, lots to clean up still going to be critical of this team, but very happy to be able to.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you know, eight and two, it's, you know, top of the AFC for now, which, which is great, but, you know, you mentioned a Dylan on offense this team, this team has some work to do.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_03]: They have a long way to go.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_03]: But, you know, although they skate with that win on Thursday, a win is a win nonetheless.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_03]: And it's, it's so good just to see how, how that defense, how the defense is playing is just, it's just phenomenal.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_03]: Let's see who we have here joining us tonight.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_03]: We got Mr. David, young can coming in with a super chat.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you, David.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_03]: It's always good to see you, my man.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_03]: He says, I wonder if it was the bills,
- 2:18[SPEAKER_03]: Can't a city or the Eagles at eight and two and their offense played like this after media would be so inclined to say that they say yep and as of a year coming back in and it have bow has a winning record of 18 and nine.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_03]: So let's take a deep breath.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_03]: David, you bring up all great points here.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I still think Dylan it's.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_03]: the national media is still not on board with the Denver Broncos.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_03]: I will say most of the national media just because obviously, I still think that a lot of the national media aren't big fans of Sean Payton.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_03]: And also, I think they still want to remain correct on their pre-draft assessment of
- 3:13[SPEAKER_03]: And now that the struggles are there and they're there in prime time, as we saw in Thursday night.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_03]: It helps their argument, but David, young, can you bring up a good point that, you know, the Board by this is year two for bonings.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_03]: And again, there's been some bad as we've seen, but Dylan, I in my mind, there's been more good and bad.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_03]: over the course of, you know, if we include last year and this year so far, bolstow has a lot of growth and a lot of development.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_03]: I like what I've seen so far for the most part, but there are some things, especially the footwork Dylan, especially the footwork and how it ties to the routes and how he's overthrown or underthrowing a lot of these receivers.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_03]: Obviously,
- 4:06[SPEAKER_03]: Um, but I think David, you know, everyone just needs to take a deep breath, you know, this is year two and you know, hopefully with better coaching, hopefully Sean Peyton kind of looks at himself in the mirror Dylan after there's a nice performance and see how they can improve.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_03]: I really do hope that they can, you know, at least give a better showing
- 4:36[SPEAKER_01]: they're gonna need to have a much better showing if they're gonna beat the chiefs and possibly lock up the division this early into the season and I say early we're about to have a little halfway through but thank you Dave for coming in and yeah he has an 18 and I record take a deep breath absolutely but we do need to make sure that we are holding not just the whole offense
- 4:59[SPEAKER_01]: has kind of collapsed in on itself.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_01]: And obviously that starts with the quarterback that's the most important position whether right or wrong they're going to get the most ridicule.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_01]: Like you mentioned, Bo's not setting his feet.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_01]: He's been very inaccurate.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_01]: Receivers are dropping balls.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_01]: There's terrible play sequencing at times on Peyton.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_01]: It's not just one thing and a lot of these things are fixable, which makes it actually quite frustrating.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_01]: Because these are very fixable things and we're 10 weeks in and we're still seeing penalties, but next is still not setting his feet receivers are still not stepping up it's it's been pretty pretty terrible on the half of the side of the ball so the Broncos need to get in sync and this many by
- 5:45[SPEAKER_01]: is where Bones took off last season.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_01]: And maybe we see that again this year because he has regressed from last year in terms of consistency at the very least because that's what's killing this team is just no consistency whether it be Bones whether it be the play calling, whether it be receivers or even getting your, sticking with the running game as well as been a very big problem.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's the often doesn't flow Dylan.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_03]: There's no identity.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_03]: You would like, I mean, I mean, based on the numbers that we've seen so far and how the games have shaken out, the run game needs to be a the identity of this team.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, JK Dobbins is what, top four, five, and rushing.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_03]: So that, that means that's the story and that should tell you kind of how this team should be viewed.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_03]: It's just a matter of, you know, we'll show on Peyton's stick to that, to kind of help us quarterback out more now again.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I know he loves, you know, the passing attack, but I do think that should be a part of the conversation of using more of the running game.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_03]: To help with this offense as both continues to develop.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_03]: But again, David, thank you.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you so much.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_03]: We appreciate it.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_03]: Let's see who else we have.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_03]: We have.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_03]: The pop-up beer, Mr. David Malkarov coming in with a super chat.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you, David.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_03]: It's always good to see you, my guy.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_03]: He says, good evening, Broncos Country.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_03]: Hashtag 13 and 4 or more.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, yes, David.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you so much, glad you're sticking with that.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_03]: And again, that's what I'm going to say it again.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_03]: That is within the realm of the possible.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_03]: 13 for if they continue to stack these wins, 13 and 4,
- 7:37[SPEAKER_03]: winners can happen.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_01]: I hope so, man.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, God, we got to break that chief streak and this seems like the year to do it with there.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_01]: I believe where they five in four five or like this is the time to do it.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_01]: This is the time to put your boot on their throat.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_01]: And it just has to happen this week.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_01]: I know there's multiple games still down the road, but this would be a statement.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_01]: And honestly, this game in
- 8:06[SPEAKER_01]: people are calling the offense fraudulent or the team fraudulent as a whole.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_01]: We know the defense can ball can the offense step up to that next level or shoot even just be a middle of the road offense.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_01]: That would take this team to heights that we haven't even seen this season.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_01]: And that's what's you can kind of cling to is that they've yet to play their best ball on.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_01]: Outside of
- 8:33[SPEAKER_01]: Not not a great defense, but we're talking about contenders here.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_01]: We're talking about chiefs.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_01]: We're talking about bills.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_01]: We're talking about cults.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_01]: We've been close.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to be close anymore.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_01]: I want you to win those games.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_01]: And you know, there's been excuses made for bad play on offense throughout.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, well, this team was coming off a by week.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, well, the Broncos just who had to travel internationally or oh, it's a division king.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_01]: That doesn't matter.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_01]: If you want to be a championship caler team or hell even just a playoff caler routine, you've got to beat those contenders and your quarterback has to look not necessarily undeniable, but he's got to look confident and he hasn't for a handful of these games this year.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_01]: So hopefully he can get out of his own head, bonus that isn't figure out what it is he needs to do to settle himself and take on contenders like Kansas City.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and not only just you know,
- 9:28[SPEAKER_03]: You're supposed to beat the teams that are inferior to you, like handedly.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_03]: Um, obviously, did it with the cowboy as you mentioned, the bangles.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_03]: So you've seen flashes with certain games, but it was a two point when against a Justin Fields led jets, you know, it was a three point when on Thursday against a two
- 9:57[SPEAKER_03]: So, you know, they have to beat those teams handedly.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_03]: And, you know, hopefully, do up the course of the rest of the season.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_03]: Now, this is where the schedule gets.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_03]: You know, a bit tougher.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_03]: You know, obviously, you have the Kansas City Chief twice.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_03]: You saw that match up against the Chargers.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_03]: Green Bay, Indemix and Jacksonville, although I think that's a winnable game against Jacksonville.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_03]: They're still in, you know, the playoff picture as we speak.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_03]: So this will definitely be a test to see kind of where they are.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_03]: But again, David, thank you.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you for coming in.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_03]: We appreciate it.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_03]: And Dylan, hopefully with these games,
- 10:36[SPEAKER_03]: that I come out, we hope that your Denver Broncos are not the underdogs and a lot of these games.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_03]: We can have underdog everyone football season is in full swing and underdog is the best place to get in on all of the action.

- 13:29[SPEAKER_03]: The Broncos Denver Broncos for life can't wait to beat the chefs or cheeks.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_03]: I'm right there with you James.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_03]: It's it's time to focus on getting this division.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_03]: It's the crown is ours this year.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_03]: So hopefully they can go back to work and definitely get ready for Kansas City who's coming into town on the 16th.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you for joining us.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and it's all right.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_01]: Like I said before, this is the year to do it.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_01]: And the crown is there to snatch the Broncos just have to go and do it.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_01]: They can't just, you know, oh, when we live, obviously hypothetical, they lose the Kansas City this coming week.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, well, we can, you know, we got some winnable games down the road.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_01]: We'll just back into the ASUS crown.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no, no, no, no, they have to go take thing.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_01]: And I think they can do it.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_01]: They're in position to.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean,
- 14:27[SPEAKER_03]: Kennedy, again, obviously you have to worry about anti-region patching my homes, but you know that they can be had this year.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, you saw what, you know, it's always a good match up with Josh Allen and Patrick my home.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_03]: So you saw the Buffalo and Kansas City game.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_03]: And I think, you know, our defense, if you just pressure my homes, I mean, that's kind of your recipe here.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_03]: Now,
- 14:51[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I know Steve's Magnolia was probably looking at that game with theirs and that is like this offense well, you know, but, you know, I think our defense to be able to definitely Like to hold the chief to 20 points at maximum.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, hoping for a good game, but thank you.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you James for coming in.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_03]: We got Mr. Roy Osmore from Facebook coming in.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you, thank you.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_03]: Says good evening, my toilet, I'm being run.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_03]: Bo to Dylan as well.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you Roy for coming in.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_03]: So I was good to see you stop my dad.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_03]: All right, Dylan.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_03]: So let's talk about the Broncos offense.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_03]: Sean Payton or Joe Lombardier, Davis Webb, what do you think would help this office?
- 15:58[SPEAKER_03]: Like, how do you fix it?
- 16:01[SPEAKER_03]: I guess what are you prioritizing first to kind of fix the issues that you've seen so far?
- 16:11[SPEAKER_01]: So first and foremost, obviously, there's going to be a lot of talk about quarterback in general up until, you know, we can fix some things there.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_01]: Bones needs to settle his feet.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_01]: The inconsistency with his third arrows has to do with the inconsistency with his feet.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_01]: Now you need Sean Payton.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_01]: You need Davis Web to really work on him with that, because we saw the beginning of last season, obviously Rookie.
- 16:37[SPEAKER_01]: didn't look very good with his footwork and was off target, but then that second half is where he took off.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_01]: It's where he settled down.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't even say this as a joke.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_01]: They might need a sports therapist or some kind of anxiety management because he just seems to get lost and in his own head after like say the Broncos go three and out once or twice to start the game.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_01]: He seems to spiral a bit.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm not sure that some kind of performance anxiety and someone has to rain him in whether it be a quarterbacks goes whether you bring some outside help him.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_01]: It might sound ridiculous, but it's coming to that point where it's like this dude is just way into his own hell.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_01]: And I see people say, Sean needs to let Boney bow play like bow and all the stuff.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, well, bows not playing like bow because he's
- 17:28[SPEAKER_01]: too much thinking up in here over thinking things trying to play super man and he can't he doesn't have to do that.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't have to do it all on his own.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_01]: So first and foremost, we got to we got to clean up the footwork because that fixes accuracy immediately.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, those deep balls you want to see him and Franklin connecting on, they it's like they haven't even played in college before.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_01]: They've, he's targeted, Bonax has targeted Franklin 24 times on yards 30 plus and have connected only twice that's inexcusable so and that it goes back to footwork it goes back to being in his own head sensing pressure that's not even there a lot of the time other there's been plenty of games where he's had to move out of the pocket, but
- 18:16[SPEAKER_01]: He just needs to settle down.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think this is necessarily a play calling thing.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_01]: Well, there have been bad play calls and sequencing.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_01]: And what have you?
- 18:25[SPEAKER_01]: First and foremost, he needs to settle his mind and his feet.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and I'm going to respond to that shortly.
- 18:35[SPEAKER_03]: Gordon coming in, thank you, says fix.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_03]: I'm honestly thinking it will take longer than everyone thought for now, no blank.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, Gordon, again, it's, you know, when it comes to quarterback development, it, it takes some time.
- 18:51[SPEAKER_03]: So I do think it's going to be a little while long and especially to Dylan's points, which I agree with all your points, Dylan on the footwork.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_03]: You know, that's not going to get fixed, you know, doing the course of the season.
- 19:06[SPEAKER_03]: Now we did here.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_03]: You know, only offseason he did work with, I think a few of those, I guess, what coaches that kind of help with the footwork and such.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_03]: Um, and I'll see talk to Drew Reeves and such to kind of help with that, but again, this is going to be something where, you know, it's going to take more time to iron out.
- 19:30[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm right there with you doing in the sense of he's so anxious in the pocket.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_03]: The feet are so unsettled.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_03]: And with Sean Payton's offense, it's.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_03]: You know, the the footwork art is kind of married to the lot of those route concepts and so that's where you're seeing, you know, the jumpy feet moving in the pocket and you're seeing a lot of the over throws or the under throws.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_03]: And I just think if he can at least, you know, somewhat settle down and the pocket because we've seen plays where he stands in a clean pocket and the throw is right on the money.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_03]: Um, so just kind of doing that more consistently will definitely work also I brought it earlier of just run the ball more and you know, I think more and I can I know he does a lot of the mixed formations with, you know, combination of the shotgun and under center.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_03]: I kind of want to see a little bit more under center and that's kind of where that running
- 20:41[SPEAKER_03]: Um, at least until you can, you know, get some of the stuff with the footwork figured out.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_03]: Um, but I do think there's an opportunity for bow and shondil and to kind of work through some of these kinks and again, it's just matter of settling bow down.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_03]: And I think you can settle that down with him running the ball more obviously you have JK Dobbins, which hopefully the foot injury isn't too major.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_03]: We'll see what happens there from that hip drop tackle.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_03]: Um, and Harvey, to kind of settle down more.
- 21:16[SPEAKER_03]: And then you can play action off of that as he tries to, you know, kind of settle down in that pocket to deliver a little bit more accurate passes.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_01]: And then here, this is one comment I want to bring up kind of in relation to this yet.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 21:38[SPEAKER_01]: I got to push back on this a little bit here.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_01]: I think initially, sure.
- 21:44[SPEAKER_01]: But Sean Payton, if you're watching back through the games, you're seeing simple, even mesh and smash concept.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_01]: both still not seeing what he needs to be seeing.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_01]: They have, I don't want to use the word dumbed down because that's not what it is.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_01]: They've simplified it to half-field reads, one, one look reads, and all these things, and he's still not getting it.
- 22:10[SPEAKER_01]: And I think it just goes back to this dude is in his own head.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_01]: I, again, I know everyone's to blame one thing or another.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_01]: It's a multitude of things because Bones will miss a throw, but then when he's on the receiver, he'll drop it sometimes.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_01]: Kirlens, what can you try Franklin?
- 22:28[SPEAKER_01]: I'm looking at you, especially.
- 22:31[SPEAKER_01]: But I think it just comes back to this dudes in his own head, because a lot of these concepts, just watching back through the all 22, it's not a lot of hard stuff and not a lot of hard reads.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_01]: and we're still not seeing the production from it.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_01]: So I just wanted to push back on that just a little bit.
- 22:47[SPEAKER_01]: I do think Sean is demanding of his quarterbacks, but welcome to the Sean Peyton experience.
- 22:54[SPEAKER_01]: Is what I'd say to that.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'm with you as well, Dylan DeAndre.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think he's putting as I think you've seen that settle down a bit.
- 23:11[SPEAKER_03]: Now, you know, beginning of last year and actually at the beginning of this year, you can say that, you know, right, with, you know, a lot of the personnel changes and, you know, some of those concepts.
- 23:23[SPEAKER_03]: So it was a bit much, but I'm looking at all 22 as well, Dylan and guys are open.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_03]: Um, and again, you know, I'm not trying to make any excuses for both obviously, you know, at times, the offensive line didn't really hold up mid.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_03]: There were a few of those times, um, you know, you have minors out for a little bit with that illness, um, and whatnot.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_03]: But again, when he's in some of these clean pockets, again, it goes back to the, the
- 24:12[SPEAKER_03]: It's just not settled enough for him to hit these receivers accurately.
- 24:19[SPEAKER_03]: And so I get, I just think that foundation, that footwork foundation needs to be addressed as they move forward.
- 24:30[SPEAKER_03]: Now again, it's not gonna get corrected fully.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_03]: My Kansas City, we all know that.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_03]: But again, just kind of use things to kind of help, you know, lessen that kind of mitigate that a bit, um, so that they can at least have some sustained drives.
- 24:49[SPEAKER_03]: Because Dylan, it was just so embarrassing.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_03]: The brawlers didn't get their first first down until midway in the second quarter.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_01]: There was six minutes left.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_01]: And it's midway.
- 25:03[SPEAKER_03]: That is just, that is ridiculous.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_03]: So, you know, something has to give, something has to give.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_03]: So, but yeah, the other, I thank you for that comment.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_03]: Again, I see what you're saying there, but I tend to push back a bit as well that that did happen, but now I think you're starting to see, you know, how simplified the offense is, but we just need to hit his targets.
- 25:27[SPEAKER_03]: We got Phil coming in, thank you Phil.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I was good to see you for Facebook says get evening, Ron and Dylan.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_03]: Sorry to see you go, Dylan, hope it's a short departure.
- 25:37[SPEAKER_03]: When it's both going to stop looking so anxious to start the games.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_03]: He looks like he needs to take a chill pill.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_03]: Hashtag.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_03]: Welcome.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_03]: What are your thoughts on this one?
- 25:49[SPEAKER_03]: And again, I know we've alluded to some of this, Phil, but I'm and again, thank you for coming in, but any addition thoughts.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm just not sure like I mentioned maybe you need a sports therapist, maybe you need some kind of anxiety management regimen because I'm not sure what what's going on, I think.
- 26:08[SPEAKER_01]: He's just too in his own head like I mentioned.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_01]: You get a couple, three and outs.
- 26:12[SPEAKER_01]: And then he starts getting mad and he starts internalizing that and he just needs to settle.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not sure how we're gonna get that done.
- 26:21[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, we sought in a handful of games last year and that gave me help because listen, as many of you know, I wasn't the biggest bonus fan coming out of the draft and some of those inconsistencies are showing up.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_01]: Especially under pressure.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_01]: He wasn't a great quarterback under pressure, but at Oregon, you didn't really get to see that because he was protected very well, a lot of short passes and whatnot.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_01]: But that's what I'm really trying to cling to because as critical as I am of phonics, I want him to be the guy.
- 26:51[SPEAKER_01]: And I know these mistakes are so fixable.
- 26:54[SPEAKER_01]: He just has to take the bull by the horns and fix that.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_01]: We can talk about, oh, it's, it's no big deal.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_01]: Like, these, these are easily correctable, but you still have to go do it.
- 27:05[SPEAKER_01]: And I hear about those work ethic and I hear about all these things.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_01]: It needs to start translating to the field.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_01]: He's,
- 27:11[SPEAKER_01]: I get it.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_01]: Second year player.
- 27:14[SPEAKER_01]: But he did come out of college.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_01]: He had like a record for a amount of experience in college games.
- 27:20[SPEAKER_01]: We need to start seeing it.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_01]: We need to start seeing more consistency.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_01]: I know it's your tune and maybe it's too much to put on him.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_01]: That's the NFL.
- 27:28[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry.
- 27:29[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, if you don't perform in your first three year window, you're going to get replaced.
- 27:34[SPEAKER_01]: But I don't think that's going to happen.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_01]: I think Bo can figure these things out.
- 27:38[SPEAKER_01]: He just has to put that work in.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_01]: And to this point, we haven't really seen any consistency throughout the year.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and Phil, I mean, again, it's a good question.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_03]: I do think he does need to take that chill pill.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_03]: And again, I alluded to things earlier of helping him to not look so anxious, running the football, doing some play action, having him run more.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_03]: I think that'll kind of ease him into it early.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_03]: To where's the winnings in that pocket?
- 28:17[SPEAKER_03]: that the feet are a little bit settled and he can make those accurate thrills.
- 28:21[SPEAKER_03]: But I just think they need to kind of start off with more runs and play actions to kind of settle him down.
- 28:35[SPEAKER_03]: I don't mind the screens as much Dylan.
- 28:38[SPEAKER_03]: I'd rather not see as many of them.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_03]: But you know, screen here and there is okay.
- 28:44[SPEAKER_03]: Um, but just kind of helping them, you know, so he can ease into the game and, you know, I think Dylan, if that happens with easing him into, you might start to see fourth quarter bow throughout all four quarters.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_03]: Um, but yeah, um, it's, it's a good, it's a good question fail.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_03]: Hopefully they kind of look at that as well as a part of this offense to, to help them out.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_03]: All right, and guys, let's see who else we have in the chat.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_03]: David, y'all can come back and with a super chat.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you, David.
- 29:23[SPEAKER_03]: This bowl looks like he wants to play back your football like Rusty.
- 29:28[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, especially that first interception, Dylan.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_03]: That was bad.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_03]: That was bad.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_03]: I was like, what are you doing?
- 29:39[SPEAKER_03]: Like what are you doing?
- 29:41[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, second and fifth.
- 29:42[SPEAKER_01]: But that's, yeah, you got another down to play.
- 29:45[SPEAKER_03]: You got another down.
- 29:46[SPEAKER_03]: I, again, maybe you could make an argument.
- 29:48[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it was third down and it was getting full to halftime.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_03]: OK, chuck it up there.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe that's what happens.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, another down.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_03]: And that was just, that was just an ill advice through.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_03]: So that was just a perfect example.
- 30:01[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, David, it does look like that at times.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, definitely.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_01]: And it's more so, you know, you do seem run around.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_01]: tends to do better when he's on the move, but I hate to bring up this but like it's only Josh Allen and Mahomes are making these level of throws that he's trying to make.
- 30:24[SPEAKER_01]: You can't cross body everything.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_01]: You can't trick shot.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_01]: I brought it up man.
- 30:28[SPEAKER_01]: Like you can't.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_01]: Do trick shots on every throw that's just not a viable strategy.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_01]: And Bonix doesn't have the arm talent to do those throws consistently.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_01]: So he doesn't, well, I mentioned at the top of the show, you don't have to be Superman.
- 30:45[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_03]: And the extreme guys mentioned, which you were talking about earlier, Dylan, it's, it's a lot of it's mental.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_03]: It's, it's in Bow's head.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_03]: I'm at a good point there.
- 30:55[SPEAKER_03]: The Andre.
- 30:56[SPEAKER_03]: Coming back in, Facebook, both needs to be better this year, two lots of growth and development got to take the good with the bad.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_03]: And Sean has to put his ego and stubbornness aside and simplify things.
- 31:08[SPEAKER_03]: There are a lot of dirty hands in this.
- 31:10[SPEAKER_03]: It's everything I'm pissed at the 31 play call.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_03]: Second and eight, RJ gets seven yards and Sean calls a trick play there trying to get you instead of doing it.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm gonna be on a few things here, DeAndre.
- 31:26[SPEAKER_03]: Um, you know, again, um, you know, we alluded to that.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_03]: I think Sean has simplified things for the most part, but I would agree that the stubbornness of Sean is still there at times.
- 31:43[SPEAKER_03]: And yeah, that that play call, like after that, that block punt and that play call on
- 31:52[SPEAKER_03]: to do a pass when your offense didn't do next to anything.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_03]: The whole game leading up to that point, it was just, it was just done beyond which, it was just, it was just not a great idea.
- 32:07[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, I think the point remains the Andreo.
- 32:10[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it was a year or two for both.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_03]: And with Davis Webb and Sean Payton, you know, hopefully they can coach a lot of
- 32:22[SPEAKER_03]: So the remainder of the year and into year three.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_03]: So he can be a better quarterback.
- 32:30[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely, and yeah, I did mention earlier.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_01]: He is a little older, but in terms of the NFL, it's a different game.
- 32:36[SPEAKER_01]: And there's still room for him to grow.
- 32:38[SPEAKER_01]: And of all the aspects we've already mentioned for work accuracy would have you.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, Sean Payton isn't clean in this either.
- 32:48[SPEAKER_01]: He is very stubborn.
- 32:50[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think anyone would disagree with that statement.
- 32:53[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, and that's what I mean like I feel overall and I know not a lot of people will necessarily agree.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_01]: I think Sean Payton has actually called a lot of good games, but there's those ones that really stick out that third and one in Portland Sutton, why are we trying, and this is the Raiders, why are we trying to get cute, we don't have to get cute to beat the Raiders, run it up the middle man.
- 33:15[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, RJ was having a pretty good game and you ended up with 77 yards.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_01]: But it's easier said than done because these teams are coming up, because they're seeing what a lot of us are seeing.
- 33:31[SPEAKER_01]: Bones is rattle.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_01]: They said, okay, we'll stack the box and we're going to dare him to throw because he's in his own head and he's going to scare himself into a bad play.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_01]: So that's that's maybe the Broncos are scared to run at those heavy looks, but honestly, they might have to start doing that.
- 33:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, definitely.
- 33:51[SPEAKER_03]: And we got Stu, what's the Stu make Pete coming in?
- 33:56[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you with a generous, super chat.
- 33:59[SPEAKER_03]: It's good to see you, Stu.
- 34:00[SPEAKER_03]: To both still a young and developing quarterback, he will figure this out.
- 34:05[SPEAKER_03]: We have a good coach.
- 34:06[SPEAKER_03]: And I think that's to take one point here, Stu.
- 34:09[SPEAKER_03]: Um, very young, still developing.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_03]: Um, and again, it's been, it's been a lot of good.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, you know, I know he's kind of in a small,
- 34:20[SPEAKER_03]: as of now, but it's been mostly good.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_03]: And, you know, I trust John Payton, I trust Davis Webb, to at least, you know, help him so that he is much improved as the season, as the season continues.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, great point.
- 34:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and he's still developing, we've, we've talked about it plenty already, but he's just got to make those steps and that's I think the most frustrating part is that we know he's right there in terms of it's it's just your footwork, man, plant and throw I'm going to bring it up every chance I can fix that for work dude, because you are right there those plays are right there these games.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_01]: Some of them would probably be blowouts, like we even let the freaking bangles hang around longer than they should have in that game.
- 35:10[SPEAKER_01]: The only very convincing win has come against the Cowboys, which was a surprise to me, especially, I mean, our defense lights out, crazy to shut them down.
- 35:18[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, it's very correctable things.
- 35:23[SPEAKER_01]: You just have to go and correct them.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_01]: And I think
- 35:31[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, for sure, for sure, and against to thank you so much.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_03]: We greatly appreciate your.
- 35:41[SPEAKER_03]: And we got Glenn Ashley coming in from Facebook.
- 35:45[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you, Glenn.
- 35:46[SPEAKER_03]: So it's good afternoon, Ron and Dylan, eight and two.
- 35:49[SPEAKER_03]: Boston, proven and growing.
- 35:52[SPEAKER_03]: We want to be playing our best football in December.
- 35:55[SPEAKER_03]: Playoffs.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_03]: We owe Kansas City time to take the crowd.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, yes, Lynn.
- 36:02[SPEAKER_03]: It's, it's the planet hours.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_03]: It's, it's, it's that time that we take over the division and again, sitting pretty at eight and two, hopefully the problems can whip some chiefs, but on the 16th and then continue to.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_03]: You know, have this steady play and you know how to stack these wins moving forward to the in the season.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_03]: But again, it's it's a good time dealing in the sense of, you know, you have this many by Kansas City, then you have a buy coming up.
- 36:44[SPEAKER_03]: So, you know, in terms of like the schedule at this point, you know, guys can get some rest and then hopefully doing this by week as well,
- 36:55[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe kind of look at things and see where they can improve upon and then really kind of geared toward this late November and early December push for the playoffs.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, when offense, they have, they still have a lot of work to do.
- 37:12[SPEAKER_03]: But thank you, Glenn, coming in.
- 37:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, man, take, that's, he says it completely right here.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_01]: Take the crown.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_01]: Don't back into the AFC West title.
- 37:22[SPEAKER_01]: You need to go take it from the chiefs.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_01]: I know they are blocked field goal away from,
- 37:27[SPEAKER_01]: uh... beat them last year this year you have to take it there's not there's no they could squeak it out fine but man they they just absolutely distilled this crown from the chiefs and take what's there is this year this is the time to do it yes for sure for sure
- 37:49[SPEAKER_03]: And we got Mike Davis coming in.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you, Mike.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_03]: It's good to see you as well.
- 37:52[SPEAKER_03]: So there's anyone else hopeful PS2 can play after this many biverses, the chiefs.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_03]: That's a good question, Mike.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 38:06[SPEAKER_03]: I would, I think selfishly we all would want him to.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_03]: But honestly, I do think that they're going to play it safe.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_03]: and wait until after the buy for the matchup, it gets to commanders.
- 38:25[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I watched some episodes on the clothes on Sunday's podcast building and you know, it seems as though he still, you know, obviously, react to a nursing that peck.
- 38:37[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I know he said it'll be back in no time, but I just think given kind of how the broncles
- 38:43[SPEAKER_03]: have handled injury, I think they, you know, whether it be safe.
- 38:49[SPEAKER_03]: And again, that's why I didn't put them when I are.
- 38:51[SPEAKER_03]: Because you know, that was also an option.
- 38:54[SPEAKER_03]: But I do think they're going to maybe have them out for Kansas City, you know, that week and another extra week with the buy to rest up and preparation for for the commanders.
- 39:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, unfortunately, I don't think it's going to happen.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_01]: And that's really sucks against the chief steam who has all their past-guests in weapons, healthy and unsuspended.
- 39:17[SPEAKER_01]: Um, I mean, having worthy Hollywood Brown or She Rice and Travis Kelsey, that's going to be a formidable criminal team.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_01]: Thankfully, we got talent who found good who's been playing the lights out to best free agent signing in quite a long time.
- 39:32[SPEAKER_01]: And Drake Greenlaw, although on limited snaps, has looked
- 39:38[SPEAKER_01]: You're never going to replace Patrick's or tan.
- 39:41[SPEAKER_01]: Well, he's out, but they've made a pretty good case so far to steady the ship and make sure that they're not giving up too many big plays with even with Riley Moss playing back there.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_01]: Johnny Baron being the rookie and McMillan as well.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_01]: And Abram strain given his credit.
- 39:58[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yes, it'll be interesting to see it, you know, here's who doesn't play.
- 40:02[SPEAKER_03]: Because you know, Johnny Baron has been great.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_03]: I'm against titans this year, and I guess I'm curious to see how they, how they handle the Rashid Rice and Xavier worthy matchups, but yeah, again my good question, I just don't see that I just know how the brothels are and probably want to play it say, but thank you for coming in with that question.
- 40:30[SPEAKER_03]: And we got Cameron coming in with a generous super chat.
- 40:34[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you.
- 40:35[SPEAKER_03]: It's always good to see as well.
- 40:36[SPEAKER_03]: He says, what's up, Broncos Country?
- 40:38[SPEAKER_03]: I don't get why Sean Payton isn't using Pat Bryant more.
- 40:43[SPEAKER_03]: And Sean Payton forcing Franklin into this offense too much.
- 40:47[SPEAKER_03]: And is that hurting his development?
- 40:51[SPEAKER_03]: All good questions did.
- 40:52[SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to hand this one to you first to get your answer.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you very much because I've been wanted to talk about Troy Franklin here a little bit.
- 41:01[SPEAKER_01]: And I kind of talked to a couple of the other guys behind the scenes, you know, about this and
- 41:08[SPEAKER_01]: I just don't think Franklin's in a role he should be in.
- 41:12[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's a third or fourth wide receiver on a team.
- 41:15[SPEAKER_01]: Terrible against man coverage, but he dices it up against zone, which is a nice piece to have, but he shouldn't be a marquee piece.
- 41:24[SPEAKER_01]: I know people and as Camden mentions here, and thank you for coming in and sharing this with us, Camden.
- 41:30[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe his hurting is development.
- 41:32[SPEAKER_01]: I just don't think Franklin's that guy and he should be in a position to be that guy.
- 41:37[SPEAKER_01]: And we've kind of seen that because even when balls are getting thrown to him and they're hitting him in the hands and he's dropping them or he disappears some games because like I just mentioned, he is not good against man coverage.
- 41:50[SPEAKER_01]: He is towards the bottom of the league in that sense.
- 41:55[SPEAKER_01]: He's just not a kid since this isn't a person and a reason why I want a Jalen model here, because we can't talk about, well, Bonix is struggling because receivers are dropping his ball and then going, well, Troy Franklin just needs more help and Marvin Manz, it's like, maybe we need to take a deep long look at this receiving core and say, hey, maybe they're not as good as we are hoping for them to be.
- 42:19[SPEAKER_01]: And I saw some comments earlier, oh, well, men's will come back and it'll fix it.
- 42:23[SPEAKER_01]: I don't really buy that.
- 42:26[SPEAKER_01]: He's been largely a gadget guy.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_01]: He can't run routes worth a damn for the most part.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_01]: But he's got exposed to this, so that's why he's going to get on the field.
- 42:35[SPEAKER_01]: And as good, I want to see him on the field.
- 42:37[SPEAKER_01]: I want to see him grow.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_01]: But we're in year three, man.
- 42:41[SPEAKER_01]: You're not routing anyone up.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_01]: I don't expect you to be running routes like Justin Jefferson, but man, it's pretty
- 42:49[SPEAKER_01]: It's just I we don't have the supporting cast here and I just don't for it think Franklin's that guy and I think fans have kind of put this more Kind of it what he call exaggerated his potential I guess is a good way to put it Yeah, um
- 43:10[SPEAKER_03]: I don't understand why he doesn't use Pat Bryant more either, Cameron, that's a good question.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_03]: He's got strong hand.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_03]: You raved about Pat Bryant during the draft process.
- 43:25[SPEAKER_03]: And honestly, Dylan, I think Pat Bryant has earned himself more opportunities, just how he can
- 43:32[SPEAKER_03]: You know, some of those blocks, like, oh, yeah, you know, and him and the blocking is just, it's just great to see on some of those runs, and when he's open, yep, he normally catches the football.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_03]: So you, you would like that now with Franklin, it's, again, I wouldn't say I'm ready to give up on Troy Franklin, because
- 43:58[SPEAKER_03]: He has improved since last year, but there's still inconsistency there, Dylan.
- 44:04[SPEAKER_03]: And you get the one step forward, two steps back.
- 44:09[SPEAKER_03]: You know, you'll be wide open, he'll catch a ball and then the next play.
- 44:14[SPEAKER_03]: There's no situation of awareness at all.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_03]: That's dream paddles.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_03]: That's mean pass.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_03]: It's like, why would you even run into?
- 44:24[SPEAKER_03]: Who was that?
- 44:25[SPEAKER_01]: Sure failed.
- 44:26[SPEAKER_03]: Perfect.
- 44:27[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
- 44:27[SPEAKER_03]: Why would you even run into a surfer like, come on, dude?
- 44:32[SPEAKER_03]: And so just know awareness sometimes with the drops.
- 44:37[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm on the train right now.
- 44:43[SPEAKER_03]: I do believe that, you know, you should, I want more Pat Bryan snaps as a wide receiver too.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_03]: Now, I think, which, what you're saying as far as the receiver core, it's, it has something, we aren't know what Marvin Mimzes, I mean Marvin Mimzes or Gadget guy, he's a playmaker.
- 45:10[SPEAKER_03]: His absence wasn't noticed to a degree, obviously in the return game, you know that.
- 45:15[SPEAKER_03]: But even on offense, because he does provide an element that defense is out of the count four.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_03]: Absolutely.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_03]: And if that's beat.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_03]: So I think having him back in the Kansas City game would be great.
- 45:34[SPEAKER_03]: And then again, I want to see more Pat Bryant touches just because I think he's earned that right now, you know, if you want to kind of switch out have Franklin and you know, and some of the packages that's fine, but I just think given what we see from Franklin, I just don't think he is deserving of it quite yet.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_03]: So yeah, but I don't I don't know for really I wouldn't say it.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_03]: herding his development cabinet as far as a user frankly, I wouldn't go that far, but I just think, you know, Franklin can sometimes, how can I put this, you know, set this offense back at times, you know, kind of, kind of given his way.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_02]: Alrighty, good questions here, guys.
- 46:33[SPEAKER_02]: We are, oh, at the 40th of a chance tonight.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_03]: So we're going to again, this is your final warning to get any other questions, comments, and yep, so people here mentioning no Marvin MEMS, running the ball here, just kind of going to a few, a few comments here, kind of, I think we're all in agreement with some of these.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_03]: And we got a super chat from bootboard 90.
- 47:02[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you for coming in.
- 47:03[SPEAKER_03]: It says the 2000 Ravens went five games straight without a single touchdown.
- 47:10[SPEAKER_03]: But we'll be fine.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_03]: Run the ball, less personal groupings.
- 47:14[SPEAKER_03]: More uptemple.
- 47:15[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, yes, bootboard, thank you for coming in and especially that last portion.
- 47:19[SPEAKER_03]: More uptemple.
- 47:21[SPEAKER_03]: That's what your quarterback likes.
- 47:23[SPEAKER_03]: That's what he drives under you would think that Sean would use it more.
- 47:27[SPEAKER_03]: Um, because that's, that's what works for him.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_03]: Um, so I think that should also be integrated more into this offensive.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_03]: And a, a more uptip when I go to what the uptimple, that's less of a chance for switching out your personnel.
- 47:43[SPEAKER_03]: Um, so guys can get a hot hand.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_03]: You know, you want Dobbins in their more offensive so he can get a hot hand.
- 47:49[SPEAKER_03]: And remember what they did against the Bengals, Dylan, of each running back,
- 47:55[SPEAKER_03]: Got a, got a, got a series, um, so even going to that or going back to that I think I think would help for you all all great points here, who for thank you for coming in again.
- 48:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, thanks for coming in, uh, bootboy and yeah, more up tempo obviously you can't do it the whole game, but you can do it in spots to be selective with it and there's times that the Bronco probably should have employed it and have it.
- 48:19[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and then to the point of running the ball.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_01]: They absolutely need to, but I, I think it always comes back to they're going to stack that box and they're going to get pretty heavy looks to stop the run.
- 48:31[SPEAKER_01]: So until the passing game can prove to be a threat you're going to see a lot of crowded boxes, but the Broncos are going to still have to try to run of those run on those heavy personal groupings regardless.
- 48:45[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, it's for sure.
- 48:46[SPEAKER_03]: And again, before I thank you so much for coming in.
- 48:52[SPEAKER_03]: Let's see who else we've got Mr. Phil McLaughlin coming back in.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you, Phil.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_03]: It says, Bo was practicing for dancing with the star.
- 49:01[SPEAKER_03]: It's a ridiculous.
- 49:03[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 49:04[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, he has those happy feet Phil.
- 49:07[SPEAKER_03]: He's just he's just anxious.
- 49:10[SPEAKER_03]: So again, but I like the.
- 49:13[SPEAKER_03]: Hi, the joke here.
- 49:14[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, thank you.
- 49:15[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you for coming in today, appreciate it.
- 49:20[SPEAKER_03]: William coming in.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_03]: And any one to hear any more news about Dobbins?
- 49:26[SPEAKER_03]: No, so again, till I'm not sure if you've heard anything recently, and again, yep, David coming in with a super chat asked in the same question.
- 49:35[SPEAKER_03]: But I'll, I heard, if he's going to get a second opinion
- 49:43[SPEAKER_03]: Um, so we know that he was out for a little bit, and he came back in to finish the game, and it seemed as though he was fine.
- 49:52[SPEAKER_03]: Um, I know he ran on Twitter about the hip drop tackle and the ease.
- 49:57[SPEAKER_03]: He's mad about that, but um, but yeah, I think I heard that he's going to get a second opinion.
- 50:02[SPEAKER_03]: I think from there we'll see.
- 50:04[SPEAKER_03]: We'll see kind of, you know, how it unfolds.
- 50:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I haven't heard anything new to my knowledge.
- 50:11[SPEAKER_01]: I know I believe I heard the second opinion though, as you mentioned, he better be ready to go because RJ Harvey is a better receiver right now.
- 50:20[SPEAKER_01]: And he is a running back.
- 50:22[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't trust Tyler but A to make any plays whatsoever.
- 50:26[SPEAKER_01]: I don't, I shouldn't have even brought up his name, but hey, let's, let's honestly, they talk about the blocking.
- 50:32[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's made
- 50:35[SPEAKER_01]: anywhere between five and seven blocks.
- 50:37[SPEAKER_01]: So not super substantial.
- 50:39[SPEAKER_01]: Let's just give McLaughlin in there.
- 50:41[SPEAKER_01]: It literally cannot get worse.
- 50:45[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, we can't.
- 50:47[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I just like I've watched and then I'm like, why is bedaven in like just give bedaven?
- 50:53[SPEAKER_03]: Give Harvey those snacks.
- 50:55[SPEAKER_03]: Like, or like you said, activate McLaughlin even.
- 50:58[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, we kind of already know what McLaughlin is, but you know, I'd rather
- 51:03[SPEAKER_03]: Then having a day being active on game things, I just feel those such a waste of a lot.
- 51:10[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
- 51:11[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, but thank you day before coming in, we appreciate it.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_03]: Let's see who else we have here.
- 51:21[SPEAKER_03]: The chat's hobbit night, guys.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_03]: So just just, uh,
- 51:27[SPEAKER_03]: Just bear with us here as we kind of sit through all these.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_03]: We got Camden coming in with a super chat.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you for coming back in camera Says honestly, I wouldn't mind putting the laundry tailman at X receiver.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_03]: He has moves.
- 51:42[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, till we have some moves Dylan You know with those two picks so far.
- 51:49[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, he's he's running them back For some good some solid yard hitch
- 51:54[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, how is the able to kind of find the hole?
- 51:57[SPEAKER_03]: It's been actually really fun to watch.
- 52:01[SPEAKER_03]: So yeah, I'm not a pole.
- 52:03[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not going to be a pole.
- 52:04[SPEAKER_03]: So that, you know, maybe on a few snacks.
- 52:07[SPEAKER_03]: You know, here and there.
- 52:08[SPEAKER_03]: Um, but yeah, it's been great to see that the big man, um, you know, picking up two interceptions so far.
- 52:17[SPEAKER_01]: He's he's putting the moves on people too.
- 52:19[SPEAKER_01]: I believe he's got four.
- 52:21[SPEAKER_01]: He's forced four missed tackles.
- 52:24[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, yeah, I see X received or put him at tight end.
- 52:26[SPEAKER_01]: I think we need a little more help there with.
- 52:29[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, in general, just because trout and I mean,
- 52:37[SPEAKER_01]: And when he does block it's typically OPI, so he's but or holding and he's holding up the positive plays.
- 52:45[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm honestly with the plethora of past rashes we have put him in.
- 52:52[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, put, put him in.
- 52:54[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, what we're going to look at the very least, right?
- 52:57[SPEAKER_01]: Like if you want to get cute Sean, let's at least put the big boy in there.
- 53:01[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
- 53:02[SPEAKER_03]: When the offense is working, when we're moving, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, and I think there was that play, yeah, the greatest game where I don't know if you saw a Dylan where Alex single 10 was like, come my way, come over here, when you can kind of go in and go, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 53:30[SPEAKER_03]: I thought that was funny.
- 53:34[SPEAKER_03]: I'm ready.
- 53:37[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you, Mike.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_03]: And then we got Mr. Todd, Austin Dorf.
- 53:41[SPEAKER_03]: Can catch.
- 53:42[SPEAKER_03]: So maybe give him the ball yet on offense.
- 53:44[SPEAKER_03]: Play him a tight in our full bank.
- 53:45[SPEAKER_03]: That's what he was saying.
- 53:47[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 53:47[SPEAKER_03]: He's a tight in our full bank.
- 53:50[SPEAKER_03]: Definitely, definitely help.
- 53:52[SPEAKER_03]: I'm ready.
- 53:52[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you.
- 53:53[SPEAKER_03]: Todd for coming in.
- 53:55[SPEAKER_03]: Alright guys, I'm just going to do a quick shift.
- 53:59[SPEAKER_03]: I think we've gotten all of these subjects.
- 54:03[SPEAKER_01]: There's there's one comment here.
- 54:05[SPEAKER_01]: I do want to look at just real quick.
- 54:07[SPEAKER_01]: It is a long comment.
- 54:08[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just going to flash for a second because it's covering up our faces.
- 54:12[SPEAKER_01]: I'll read through it.
- 54:13[SPEAKER_01]: Then I'll drop it here.
- 54:13[SPEAKER_01]: So air analysis coming says what you guys need to look at is John L. We stats in the first 25 games and Eli and Peyton Manning's first 25 to bone mixes is better than L. way manning in some ways missing.
- 54:25[SPEAKER_01]: Back a couple hundred yards and total passing errands bonus is on pace.
- 54:28[SPEAKER_01]: You guys need to leave him alone.
- 54:30[SPEAKER_01]: I will not.
- 54:32[SPEAKER_01]: and get on Peyton because this offense is not an offensive quote or an offense quote or it can actually call plays.
- 54:39[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm just going to drop some of it because like I said, it's covering a face.
- 54:43[SPEAKER_01]: I don't really care for the, oh, but look at what John I did.
- 54:47[SPEAKER_01]: Look at Peyton Manley with Tom Brady doing their first games.
- 54:50[SPEAKER_01]: Different areas, different teams, different styles of play.
- 54:56[SPEAKER_01]: I understand the point that's trying to be made generally there.
- 55:00[SPEAKER_01]: There's been a lot of quarterbacks who started their first season pretty good falling off and never come back or falling off and then got right back on track, so I don't really care for this argument very much.
- 55:16[SPEAKER_01]: I know it sounds like I hate Bonix, the amount that I'm talking about his deficiencies, but it goes back to, I know he can fix them.
- 55:25[SPEAKER_01]: That's what's so frustrating about it.
- 55:27[SPEAKER_01]: It's pretty simple fixes.
- 55:30[SPEAKER_01]: So it's not trash.
- 55:33[SPEAKER_01]: You can be critical of a young player without it being hate or whatever the hell you want to call it.
- 55:40[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just being critical of him because I
- 55:46[SPEAKER_01]: You know, give him every excuse.
- 55:48[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to give Sean Peyton every excuse either, or any other receivers, but the era's comparison to me is not a really, really after one, because it's just such a different game these days, especially much more catered to quarterbacks where they have been these days going through high school, into passing camps, into college, and then into the NFL.
- 56:10[SPEAKER_01]: they have more opportunities than ever to be close to not necessarily a finished product, but kind of raise their floor in a sense.
- 56:20[SPEAKER_01]: So I do expect more from both having as many college starts as he had.
- 56:25[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm going to be critical of him and maybe I'm talking critical of him now, but you better believe on game day, I'm rooting for him to have his best game.
- 56:40[SPEAKER_03]: You know, but the game is more than just about statistics, context, and you know, given how bowl has played so far, yeah, I mean, you know, I've seen those graphics and begins elsewhere and begins spanning and yeah, I mean, if we're trying to yard such downs and perceptions, yeah, I see what you're saying, but
- 57:09[SPEAKER_03]: In order for both of it be even better, the mechanics have to get fixed.
- 57:16[SPEAKER_03]: And I think that's the point that we're trying to make here.
- 57:19[SPEAKER_03]: It's the fundamentals that have to get fixed.
- 57:23[SPEAKER_03]: Now, you're right, because again, we're not absolving Sean Payton at all.
- 57:29[SPEAKER_03]: And he is definitely to blame for some of this.
- 57:33[SPEAKER_03]: Um, you know, as far as the sequencing of plays and such, um, I, I'm, I'm worth you there.
- 57:40[SPEAKER_03]: But all we're saying is both the mechanics have to get fixed.
- 57:46[SPEAKER_03]: You have to make sure your feet, um, your, your footwork is as crispy clean as it can be.
- 57:55[SPEAKER_03]: So when you step up in the pocket, the throws can be more accurate and you could even have more touch them.
- 58:02[SPEAKER_03]: Um, so if the coaching staff can help him develop from that regard, um, addition to some other things, you know, as a whole on offense, um, I think, you know, he has that potential to live up to what Sean said at the beginning of the season.
- 58:20[SPEAKER_02]: Dylan, his head coach said he can be with top four, top five quarterback in the next couple
- 58:33[SPEAKER_03]: They give him that hard coaching, that development so that he can be in that conversation.
- 58:41[SPEAKER_03]: And again, that's really all we're saying.
- 58:44[SPEAKER_03]: This is more focused on mechanics, fundamentals, footwork.
- 58:53[SPEAKER_03]: But thank you for coming over with the comedy.
- 58:54[SPEAKER_03]: We greatly appreciate it.
- 58:59[SPEAKER_02]: All righty guys.
- 59:02[SPEAKER_02]: Just kind of doing another quick review of the chat.

- 1:01:37[SPEAKER_01]: I couldn't ask for a better co-host and this isn't goodbyes.
- 1:01:41[SPEAKER_01]: This is just seeing you next time.
- 1:01:44[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, yes, I'm going to make sure I'm here, but
- 1:01:47[SPEAKER_03]: Um, like says, Ben, great.
- 1:01:49[SPEAKER_03]: This is great, but like, so just, there's just temporary.
- 1:01:51[SPEAKER_03]: I'll put it that way, it's just temporary.
- 1:01:52[SPEAKER_03]: And we got Phil coming in with a last minute banger.
- 1:01:55[SPEAKER_03]: And I think this is great to to close us out here.
- 1:01:59[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you, Phil, coming back and he says, let's, let's be optimistic.
- 1:02:04[SPEAKER_03]: Well, we'll figure it out.
- 1:02:05[SPEAKER_03]: And the next couple games and be ready for the playoffs are defense can play with any team in the NFL.
- 1:02:12[SPEAKER_03]: So when the offense figures out, we will be unstoppable.
- 1:02:15[SPEAKER_03]: I couldn't have said a better myself for once the offense gets their act together, I think you'll start to see more complimentary football and that blows well going into December and to January and you would hope, you know, with that.
- 1:02:37[SPEAKER_03]: They have that shot for the number one seed and Dylan, I do believe if it Broncos do get the number one seed.
- 1:02:43[SPEAKER_03]: And if they're clicking on all cylinders, you know one wants to come to empower field at mile high and January.
- 1:02:52[SPEAKER_03]: So again, Phil, thank you for coming in.
- 1:02:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, filled with the buzzer beater and man.
- 1:02:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:02:56[SPEAKER_01]: No one wants to play the Broncos of Mariah high, especially in the playoffs.
- 1:03:00[SPEAKER_01]: And I mentioned earlier on the show, if this offense can even just be top 15, they're going to be sitting pretty.
- 1:03:08[SPEAKER_01]: We just got to see it now.
- 1:03:10[SPEAKER_01]: We just got to figure it out and this chiefs came coming up.
- 1:03:13[SPEAKER_01]: It's the measuring stick.
- 1:03:15[SPEAKER_01]: Are you for real?
- 1:03:16[SPEAKER_01]: Or are you winning in flukey ways?
- 1:03:18[SPEAKER_01]: We're about to find out.
- 1:03:20[SPEAKER_03]: Yep, we've been to find out as they say.
- 1:03:24[SPEAKER_03]: Again, Phil, thank you.
- 1:03:25[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you again for the buzzer, Peter.
- 1:03:28[SPEAKER_03]: All right, everyone.
