- 0:00Hello, good morning.
- 0:01Welcome.
- 0:02I am Samuel Trapp.
- 0:04This is International Flavor.
- 0:06You are listening to DAMN Radio.
- 0:10Coming to you live from the Lake Ozark
- 0:12real estate of the art studio.
- 0:15Feel free to phone in 573-746-8020.
- 0:19I might even answer if I feel the
- 0:22urge to converse with you.
- 0:25And if I don't feel like it, I
- 0:28just won't.
- 0:29How about that?
- 0:31Lots of news.
- 0:32Lots of stuff going on.
- 0:36Lots of stuff going on locally.
- 0:39Lots of stuff going on nationally and internationally.
- 0:45I've made one song selection for you today
- 0:48and I think it is, I suppose the
- 0:51word would be, apropos, for the day in
- 0:55the heavy state influence, state actors, state doing
- 1:01what the state always does, take more power.
- 1:04But before we get to that happy crappy,
- 1:07we are going to discuss Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin
- 1:14and his interview with Pervy Canal Channel One,
- 1:19Russia.
- 1:19That's definitely Russian-friendly or government-friendly.
- 1:23I believe it's even a government-sponsored.
- 1:27We're waiting for Supreme Court decisions today on
- 1:30birthright citizenship, I think it is.
- 1:33Isn't today the last day they throw out
- 1:35that stuff?
- 1:36Then they go on vacation for six months.
- 1:38That's why they can only do 6%
- 1:40of the cases that are sent to them.
- 1:42They ignore the rest.
- 1:44They ignore as they're always on freaking vacation.
- 1:49That's nonsense.
- 1:50They never do.
- 1:51Well, you're lucky to get, what did they
- 1:54say?
- 1:54It's less than, they don't take any cases.
- 1:59They never do.
- 2:02But that's not the topic for today.
- 2:04It's a minor part of the topic, but
- 2:05in part two of the show, what we're
- 2:07going to do is talk about hopefully the
- 2:10ending of the war in Ukraine.
- 2:12Personally, I think it's going to be done
- 2:15by achieving the goals of the special military
- 2:20operation.
- 2:21Of course, you could call me a Putin
- 2:22shill, if you like, because I'm actually listening
- 2:25to what he has been saying, not only
- 2:27since February 24 of 2022, but since 2007,
- 2:34that we're not going to put up with
- 2:36this.
- 2:36And since certainly to 2014, certainly through Minsk
- 2:40one and Minsk two, very reminiscent of the
- 2:43memorandum of understanding between the United States and
- 2:46Iran.
- 2:47That doesn't mean anything.
- 2:48It's just a piece of paper and it's
- 2:50only too delayed to give us time to
- 2:52rearm and rearm and attack you some more.
- 2:58That is diplomacy, American style.
- 3:01Do you remember the show, Love American Style?
- 3:02I told somebody about this a few months
- 3:04ago.
- 3:05Remember the show, Love American Style, how idiotic
- 3:07it was, but it was, you know, for
- 3:10the day, that was kind of cool.
- 3:12I think it was my mom or my
- 3:13dad.
- 3:14One of them used to watch it and
- 3:15come on at like nine o'clock, 10
- 3:17o'clock and we're all supposed to be
- 3:18in bed, but we never were.
- 3:19It was summertime and we wouldn't go to
- 3:21bed and we'd watch Love American Style.
- 3:24Anyway, a very good show.
- 3:27Putin anyway, gave like a 45-minute interview
- 3:32to the Peter V.
- 3:34Kanal in Moscow.
- 3:36And Pavel Zarubin, I think, is the correspondent
- 3:44or journalist that interviews a young kid and
- 3:48did a reasonably good job.
- 3:50But all you got to do is go
- 3:52in there and give the questions that they're
- 3:54given to you.
- 3:56Because I believe these ones are pretty well
- 3:58framed, at least at this state level.
- 4:00So the core answers.
- 4:02And Putin, I believe, has always been pretty,
- 4:07he's a straightforward kind of guy, right?
- 4:10He seems very personable.
- 4:13I've never met the man.
- 4:15I was in the room next door, damn
- 4:16it, never got invited.
- 4:18But I got, I almost got it.
- 4:20I had it in my hand and they
- 4:21said, not you.
- 4:23I said, wait, I'm the only American here.
- 4:26Come on, you should give it to me.
- 4:27He said, oh no, you're definitely not getting
- 4:29one, is what the guy said to me.
- 4:31And that was crushing because I could have
- 4:34been in the same room with Narendra Modi,
- 4:37Vladimir Putin, a couple others, and I didn't
- 4:39get to make it.
- 4:40But we're going to try again this year
- 4:42in New Delhi.
- 4:44We're going to see if something happens there.
- 4:45Although I don't know if Putin's going to
- 4:47New Delhi.
- 4:47We'll figure that out for the BRICS conference.
- 4:49We'll see.
- 4:50But I'm pretty sure Narendra Modi will be
- 4:52there.
- 4:53Really, the highlight of my day would be
- 4:56to meet somebody like Jaishankar or to meet
- 5:05Sergei Viktorovich Lavrov.
- 5:07Would be really cool to meet one of
- 5:08those two guys.
- 5:09Those are some serious powerhouses of diplomacy.
- 5:14I wish I felt the same about our
- 5:16guys, that I don't believe.
- 5:19Ours are propagandists.
- 5:21And I understand that there's always an air
- 5:23of propaganda to the running of the state.
- 5:30But I don't feel like ours are even
- 5:34remotely honest anymore.
- 5:35They just lie straight to your face.
- 5:37And that's depressing.
- 5:39It's one thing to do things for my
- 5:41protection and to not say something.
- 5:44But outright lies, that drives me batty.
- 5:47I don't like it.
- 5:49Anyway, Putin gave some unusually open answers.
- 5:57And basically, it's like this.
- 5:59They asked him about gas.
- 6:01They asked him about troubles inside of Russia.
- 6:05And I want to go back and check
- 6:07it out and see, because it wasn't that
- 6:09bad last year when I was there.
- 6:12And I want to go and see what
- 6:14it's like now.
- 6:17But basically, Ukraine may be damaging Russian refineries,
- 6:21fuel depots, airports, civilian visible infrastructure.
- 6:26But if Lyman is gone, that's Ukraine.
- 6:29It's gone.
- 6:3096% under Russian control.
- 6:33They even have it down to the number
- 6:35of buildings, according to the Ministry of Defense.
- 6:38They got 11,000, whatever the exact number
- 6:43was, so many buildings in the city of
- 6:45Lyman.
- 6:46And then they have captured all but the
- 6:51last 146, something like that.
- 6:54So they're like 99% done with taking
- 6:57over a very large city of Lyman.
- 6:59And the same thing goes for Konstantinovka, which
- 7:05is 96%.
- 7:06And that's a large city.
- 7:07Sumy is within 10 kilometers.
- 7:10They're going to take Sumy next.
- 7:11And Zaporizhia and Kharkov are coming, too, because
- 7:14they've destroyed logistics line.
- 7:16And so when Putin was saying, he says,
- 7:22I don't understand why.
- 7:24He goes, well, actually, he said, I do
- 7:26understand why Ukrainian drones are the headline, because
- 7:31they haven't gained anything else.
- 7:35And it was pretty brutal what he said.
- 7:38He said, show me one thing that they
- 7:42have gained.
- 7:43Show me one.
- 7:44Can you point to a city?
- 7:46Can you point to, you know?
- 7:48He said, a few weeks ago, I heard
- 7:52that they had pushed back and taken over
- 7:56some farm territory, you know, maybe a couple
- 8:00of kilometers worth of farm territory.
- 8:02He goes, open land?
- 8:04You come and take open land when nobody's
- 8:08there?
- 8:08And this is your victory?
- 8:10You know, he said, we're taking over cities.
- 8:12We are systematically.
- 8:14And they are.
- 8:15I mean, we started this back with Pokrovsk.
- 8:17Remember me talking about Pokrovsk back in freaking
- 8:20January, February.
- 8:23And he's absolutely right.
- 8:25And this is a complete waste of time,
- 8:28money, effort, everything.
- 8:30It's functionally, it's over.
- 8:33They're 90-something, 93%, 94% through Donetsk.
- 8:40They got all of Lugansk.
- 8:42They have through, they got to go through
- 8:44Zaporizhzhia.
- 8:46And then they also have to finish up
- 8:49in Kharkov.
- 8:53And so, and now they're going into Sumy.
- 8:56And they're going to beat up on that
- 8:58place.
- 8:59Kupyansk is under pressure.
- 9:01I mean, these are cities all over on
- 9:03that eastern front where they're going to take
- 9:05it all up.
- 9:06But it wouldn't surprise me.
- 9:07And when I said something about this when
- 9:09this first started in 2022, somebody was interviewing
- 9:12me somewhere about it.
- 9:13And I was like, well, it seems to
- 9:15me, and I still believe this because I'm
- 9:18a pretty good historian of this.
- 9:21I've been involved in Russian studies for a
- 9:24very long time.
- 9:26And I know that in the Ukrainian, if
- 9:30you go east of the River Dnieper, if
- 9:33you go east of there, the fact is
- 9:36everybody speaks Russian.
- 9:38They may speak some Ukrainian too, but the
- 9:41primary language has always been Russian.
- 9:43The primary nationality is Russian.
- 9:47And what the Ukrainians did, the nationalists after
- 9:52the sponsored coup by the CIA and by
- 9:56the Newlands of the world and by the,
- 10:00and later by the Boris Johnsons of the
- 10:05world is a travesty.
- 10:06They've destroyed a good people and they've sold
- 10:09them a bill of goods.
- 10:10That's just complete crap.
- 10:12And, and, and Ukraine.
- 10:16Oh, in fact, I'm looking at it right
- 10:18now.
- 10:18Ukraine's drone innovation is changing the tide of
- 10:22war.
- 10:22Yup.
- 10:23It's changing the tide of war.
- 10:25They're putting all these massive missile attacks inside
- 10:28of Russia.
- 10:28This is a lie.
- 10:30Okay.
- 10:31They're doing it.
- 10:32They're bombing it, but they're gaining nothing.
- 10:35And they say the war is transformed by
- 10:37drone use.
- 10:38I'll agree with that.
- 10:39You know, the stuff in the war, in
- 10:41the war is, and Putin acknowledges that too,
- 10:45but what's, what's it gained for Ukraine?
- 10:48Nothing.
- 10:49And, and all over here, they're taking everything
- 10:53they can and pushing it from the point
- 10:56of view of we are, you know, we
- 11:01being Ukraine are winning.
- 11:03They are not winning, not remotely.
- 11:07And anybody who has a half a brain
- 11:09acknowledges that, but unfortunately our news doesn't have
- 11:13a half a brain and they don't acknowledge
- 11:15it.
- 11:15Putin says that the infrastructure strikes are intended
- 11:22to force Russia to pause the offensive and
- 11:26get what they really want.
- 11:28They want to pause the offensive, that what
- 11:32they want is a ceasefire.
- 11:35That's what they've been pushing for since Trump
- 11:37took office.
- 11:38We want a ceasefire.
- 11:40They don't want to end this conflict.
- 11:42They haven't said that once.
- 11:44We don't want this conflict to be over.
- 11:47We want a ceasefire and we will talk
- 11:49about it.
- 11:51That is Western strategy.
- 11:52That is Western diplomacy.
- 11:55Look what we did in Iran.
- 11:57Fake them into talking and then they talk
- 12:01and then you bomb the crap out of
- 12:03them while you're talking.
- 12:06That's what we did.
- 12:07That's what started the war on February 28th.
- 12:10We had started while they were negotiating.
- 12:14We bombed the crap out of them.
- 12:17And that's crap.
- 12:19And we did it because of Netanyahu.
- 12:21And it's the exact same fact pattern everywhere.
- 12:27And the only way to beat a bully
- 12:30is punch him back and deal with it.
- 12:35You know, trade blows with him.
- 12:36Trust me, Russia is doing more than trading
- 12:39blows.
- 12:40I'll get to some specific numbers on drones
- 12:42here from last night as well because I
- 12:46think it needs to be put in there.
- 12:48But these strikes are intended to get them
- 12:51to stop the offensive on the Eastern Front
- 12:54and to enter talks on terms favorable to
- 12:58Ukraine.
- 12:59And what he said, we will not give
- 13:02them that chance.
- 13:04We will not give them that chance.
- 13:06So the journalist question, Vladimir Vladimirovich, you just
- 13:09held a meeting with the heads of our
- 13:11largest oil companies concerning the situation in the
- 13:14fuel market.
- 13:18And by the way, that is tough in
- 13:19Russia.
- 13:20I already told you about this a few
- 13:21days ago.
- 13:22When you have in the fuel market, you
- 13:24have military fuel and you have fuel for
- 13:32the commoners, you know.
- 13:34And they produce far more diesel inside of
- 13:38Russia than they do gas for you, like
- 13:41unleaded for your car.
- 13:43And there's a lot of diesel cars over
- 13:45there, which is, you know, kind of cool.
- 13:48But there's also plenty of gas-powered, right?
- 13:54And plenty of electric, too.
- 13:55But the gas-powered are really hurting right
- 14:00now because Russia never did have a ton
- 14:02of refineries on all of that.
- 14:05And so they don't refine their own—or not
- 14:09enough, anyway—their own gas.
- 14:13And so they have to import it.
- 14:15And they're importing more from China.
- 14:18They're trying to get some from Kazakhstan.
- 14:20And I hear that they're trying to get
- 14:22it from Belarus to Belarus to try to
- 14:26get it from there.
- 14:27And so Vladimir Vladimirovich's question, which is, you
- 14:31just had a meeting with our oil companies
- 14:33concerning situation in the fuel markets.
- 14:35In your assessment, the enemy strike against our
- 14:37energy facilities and plants, how serious is the
- 14:42harm they have caused or are causing to
- 14:45our fuel market?
- 14:46And of course, a very important topic, what's
- 14:49happening with the supply in Crimea and Sevastopol?
- 14:52Because they cut off all civilian fuel inside
- 14:57of Crimea and Sevastopol.
- 15:01So what you're getting is you're seeing some
- 15:02videos of people fighting at the gas station
- 15:05about getting the little bit of gas that
- 15:07remains because there's an order that—oh, shit.
- 15:12Sorry.
- 15:13There's an order that says they cannot purchase
- 15:19any oil or any fuel.
- 15:23All fuel is being held for the military,
- 15:26especially in Crimea, Sevastopol.
- 15:29You know, everything's for the military down there.
- 15:32And so Putin said, as for strikes on
- 15:35critically important infrastructure in general and on energy
- 15:38infrastructure in particular, then, of course, these strikes
- 15:42against our infrastructure facilities do create a problem.
- 15:45That is obvious.
- 15:46Now, that's pretty open.
- 15:48OK, so it does create a problem.
- 15:50We are now observing a deficit, but it
- 15:52is not a critical deficit.
- 15:54I will say that now.
- 15:56There are several tasks here that we must
- 15:58solve.
- 15:58We've just been discussing this with our colleagues.
- 16:01The first task is to quickly and substantially
- 16:04increase production in the most in-demand air
- 16:07defense systems.
- 16:11So he's acknowledging that their air defense has
- 16:14taken a hit.
- 16:17But it all does because of these drones.
- 16:19If you go in waves of drones, what
- 16:22you're doing is you send a first wave
- 16:25with a hundred, and it uses up all
- 16:27the missiles.
- 16:28You send a second wave, and it takes
- 16:29out the second layer.
- 16:31And so they layer these attacks, and they
- 16:33know they're going to lose the first.
- 16:35Let's say they send 500 drones a day.
- 16:38And Ukraine's only sending about 200 to 400.
- 16:40But they're sending these drones out every day.
- 16:43And the first layers, the first 50, will
- 16:45be taken out.
- 16:46The second 50, 10 of them might get
- 16:48through.
- 16:48The third 50, you know, whatever.
- 16:50And as they keep going, the number increases
- 16:53because you have no air defense left.
- 16:54And it's the exact same in Ukraine on
- 16:57a much more massive scale because they never
- 17:00had any air defense in the first place.
- 17:02And then the air defense they did have
- 17:04is extremely expensive patriot-style systems and from
- 17:08other people that they're trying the collection and
- 17:11jamming route to try to save this as
- 17:14well.
- 17:14So he acknowledges they need to get more
- 17:18to transfer.
- 17:20He said we have to improve our new
- 17:24systems in accordance with the needs of combat
- 17:26and cover the corresponding facilities, taking into account
- 17:30what the enemy is using and also taking
- 17:33into account what is being transferred to them
- 17:35from Europe, including new versions of unmanned aerial
- 17:39vehicles with new technology.
- 17:41All of these protective systems we do in
- 17:44fact have.
- 17:45The issue is in the speed of increasing
- 17:47their production and supplying them to the troops
- 17:50or causing them to cover critically important infrastructure
- 17:53facilities.
- 17:54So basically what he's doing is admitting, but
- 17:58it's a controlled admission.
- 18:00He's not saying that strikes are meaningless.
- 18:02He's saying they're painful and require more air
- 18:05defense, faster production.
- 18:08You know, that's real.
- 18:09Ukraine is causing real damage.
- 18:11But Putin immediately narrows the meaning to the
- 18:14damage is logistical and economic.
- 18:17It isn't any decisive battlefield sort of victory
- 18:21for them at all.
- 18:23And then, you know, they've all pointed out,
- 18:26as they tend to do, like in there's
- 18:28a story this morning, published this morning in
- 18:31Russian news, a six-month-old baby killed
- 18:34in a Ukrainian drone strike on a Moscow
- 18:37region.
- 18:38UAV crashed into a private house in Yegorovsk,
- 18:42110 kilometers southeast of Moscow, injured three other
- 18:45people, said Andrey Vorobyov.
- 18:49A six-month-old baby's been killed.
- 18:51That's the governor of the Moscow region in
- 18:54a telegram post on Tuesday.
- 18:56He said the drone came down in the
- 18:58town of Yegorovsk around 110 kilometers southeast of
- 19:03Moscow at night as a result of a
- 19:05drone crash.
- 19:06A private house caught fire, people trapped under
- 19:08the rubble.
- 19:09He said the surviving victims, two adults and
- 19:12a child, have been hospitalized and are receiving
- 19:15assistance.
- 19:15And the infant died on the way to
- 19:17the hospital.
- 19:18And according to Vorobyov, the Yegorovsk strike was
- 19:23part of a wider overnight assault on the
- 19:25defenses, you know.
- 19:28And Putin frames this as Ukraine always attacking
- 19:33civilian targets, not military.
- 19:37And sometimes, you know, they'll attack the fuel
- 19:40infrastructure too.
- 19:40But they're attacking schools.
- 19:42They're attacking, I don't mean to laugh about
- 19:44it, they're attacking schools.
- 19:45They're attacking workplaces.
- 19:48I already told you about the beach and
- 19:50the cluster bombs in Crimea.
- 19:52These guys don't have any trouble with that
- 19:53sort of thing.
- 19:55So he talks about the fuel deficit as
- 19:57well.
- 19:57And he says it is clear what has
- 19:59to be done in order to ensure normal
- 20:01supply and get rid of this temporarily arisen
- 20:04deficit.
- 20:05It's necessary to bring facilities out of repair
- 20:08more quickly.
- 20:09It's necessary to arrange new volume imports.
- 20:12So Putin is admitting three things all at
- 20:15once.
- 20:15Once repairs, two, imports, and three, air defense
- 20:18coverage is not sufficient.
- 20:20And he says, as he's already said, though,
- 20:23there is damage, but all damaged facilities are
- 20:26being restored rather quickly.
- 20:28And the Russian answer to the Ukrainian drone
- 20:31strike is, you can still hit us, but
- 20:34you'll not stop us.
- 20:36And so this is, you call it Ozarkian
- 20:39if you want to, it's the exact same
- 20:41thing.
- 20:42And he's like, well, you know, it ain't
- 20:43going to stop anything.
- 20:44They can continue to do it.
- 20:46They can continue to broadcast in the West
- 20:49that, oh, by the way, we're changing the
- 20:52face of the war.
- 20:53Oh, are you?
- 20:54You're still losing your ass.
- 20:56What do you think that that's it?
- 20:58That's your answer is to have a bunch
- 21:00of goons sitting in a basement flying drones.
- 21:03That's your war strategy.
- 21:05That's the same war strategy the US has
- 21:08in Iran.
- 21:08And maybe that's going to be sufficient.
- 21:11I think people are going to tire of
- 21:13it far quicker.
- 21:14Well, quickly enough, not as quickly as they
- 21:18would if we had our boots on the
- 21:19ground somewhere, like in Iran, nobody wants that
- 21:22crap.
- 21:23You know, I mean, if you're for that,
- 21:25you need to have your head examined.
- 21:27There's no good that can come of it.
- 21:29Look at all the good that came out
- 21:31of us going into Afghanistan.
- 21:33Yeah.
- 21:33Look at all the good that came out
- 21:35of any war we've been involved in, in
- 21:37the last hell since Vietnam.
- 21:40Find one other than Grenada, you know, when
- 21:43Reagan went in and took Grenada.
- 21:46So talk about supplies, supplies of energy in
- 21:50Crimea.
- 21:50The monthly need is 70,000 tons.
- 21:53And in Crimea, there's a reserve for several
- 21:55days.
- 21:56But the needs will be met and will
- 21:58increase these supplies both by land and by
- 22:00sea.
- 22:01I'm competent, confident these tasks will be resolved.
- 22:06And that's a concrete number.
- 22:07Crimea needs 70,000 tons a month.
- 22:10And Putin says they only have a few
- 22:12days of reserves.
- 22:13So this is important because Crimea is a
- 22:15big military rear area and a symbolic Russian
- 22:18holding, especially for Sevastopol.
- 22:20That's where the Black Sea fleet is.
- 22:23And so it's a big deal.
- 22:25And then, you know, the port of Odessa
- 22:27is on the other side.
- 22:28And there, you know, it's under continued barrage.
- 22:31So in any way, the strategic claims that
- 22:35drone strikes are an important operation, they really
- 22:37are.
- 22:38At a minimum, the goal is to create
- 22:40uncertainty inside of Russia, he says.
- 22:43Uncertainty of ourselves, our forces, or even better,
- 22:46to bring about a split in Russian society
- 22:49and to force Russia to suspend, at least
- 22:53for a short time, the offensive of our
- 22:56troops along the front combat contact line and
- 22:59to create conditions for the beginning of a
- 23:02negotiation process favorable to Kiev.
- 23:05We will not give them such a chance.
- 23:08They're not going to.
- 23:09He said later that they're still here.
- 23:12He says, here's the, he says, Ukraine cannot
- 23:16win by retaking territory.
- 23:19So it's trying to win by creating pressure
- 23:22inside of Russia, hit refineries, hit fuel, hit
- 23:26Moscow, hit Crimea, create lines at gas stations,
- 23:30create telegram panic, and use that panic to
- 23:34force Russia to pause.
- 23:36And Putin is saying, no pause.
- 23:39He said, moreover, and this is important, all
- 23:42of these terrorist sorties do not in any
- 23:46way influence the situation at the front.
- 23:50This is fundamental.
- 23:51All strikes, wherever they may be carried out
- 23:55against our infrastructure, absolutely do not influence the
- 24:00situation at the front on the line of
- 24:03combat contact.
- 24:05And so the main question is, what has
- 24:09Ukraine gained?
- 24:11Let's think about this.
- 24:13They gained a propaganda effect.
- 24:15They gained some sort of disruption by attacking
- 24:19supply lines.
- 24:20Then some real damage to Russian oil refineries,
- 24:23storage, and fuel ability, and some evidence that
- 24:27Russian air defenses are stretched, and some ability
- 24:30to make Russian civilians feel the war.
- 24:33But Ukraine has not gained anything else.
- 24:38It has not broken the Russian offensive.
- 24:40It hasn't regained Donbass, none of that area.
- 24:44It hasn't relieved pressure on Kharkiv, Sumy, Zaporizhia,
- 24:47Kupyanska, Liman, or Konstantinovka.
- 24:51And it hasn't changed the basic Russian operational
- 24:53direction, which is westward.
- 24:56And they haven't defended Kyiv at all.
- 24:58Kyiv has bombed the crap out of Kyiv,
- 25:00and nightly it is happening.
- 25:03So it's, I believe this is an indication
- 25:12that they're nearing the end.
- 25:13And all they're trying to do is get
- 25:15more money.
- 25:16Do you know they don't have money to
- 25:17pay anything basic?
- 25:20There was a long diatribe on that the
- 25:23other day.
- 25:26He wants to, one of the questions was,
- 25:32a proposal to stop deep strikes.
- 25:37He said, what would it be?
- 25:39He said, to cease the strikes deep into
- 25:42the territory on both sides, and fight only
- 25:45about the four obelisks that they are fighting
- 25:50over.
- 25:51He said, it is clear why they are
- 25:52making this proposal, because our retaliatory strikes deep
- 25:56inside the territory of Ukraine are far more
- 25:59powerful, sensitive, and frankly speaking, destructive.
- 26:03They lead to truly serious consequences for the
- 26:06Kyiv regime.
- 26:07Putin is saying that Ukraine wants to stop
- 26:10the deep strike war.
- 26:11They want to both do it.
- 26:13You quit bombing us, and we'll stop bombing
- 26:15you.
- 26:16But Russia is saying, we're hurting them far
- 26:19more than they're hurting us.
- 26:20But the West just doesn't put out any
- 26:25information on that.
- 26:26And that's absolutely true.
- 26:27Whether you accept it or not, it fits
- 26:29the logic from the gas station strike.
- 26:31So I got a series of gas stations.
- 26:34I watched this really cool video about the
- 26:37gas stations, and I'll get to that here
- 26:43in a little bit.
- 26:44But Putin, I'll finish up with Putin first,
- 26:47because I always distract myself.
- 26:49Putin on the front, he's talking about going
- 26:51north to south.
- 26:52This is a section that he says you
- 26:55have to work through it slowly, because of
- 26:58the map.
- 26:58And he's talking about Sumy, which is just
- 27:00below the area where the Kursk region, where
- 27:07the Ukrainians attacked when they wanted to take
- 27:11over the Russian nuclear plant in that region,
- 27:16in Kursk, the Kursk nuclear power plant, because
- 27:20they lost the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant, which
- 27:23is the largest in Europe.
- 27:25And so they wanted to go into, well,
- 27:27that's one of the arguments.
- 27:27The other one was they just wanted to
- 27:29show that they could do something, which was
- 27:31totally idiotic, because you lost more lines on
- 27:34the front.
- 27:34That was back when they were talking about,
- 27:36man, which cities did they lose then?
- 27:42That doesn't matter, but some larger cities in
- 27:46the east.
- 27:46And so what he is saying is that
- 27:49Putin says the Russian objectives in Sumy and
- 27:52Volchansk are creating a security zone.
- 27:56Remember he said a year ago that he
- 27:59was going to build a buffer zone along
- 28:02the border?
- 28:03Well, it's being built.
- 28:04It's being built all the way through Sumy
- 28:07and all the way through Kharkov, everywhere.
- 28:09And it's about 30 kilometers cross by the
- 28:12time you get through there.
- 28:13They're only 10 kilometers from Sumy right now,
- 28:18and Volchansk.
- 28:19And if they get that far, this is
- 28:21the early incursions into Kursk and attacks on
- 28:24the Russian border areas like Belgorod and places
- 28:28like that.
- 28:28He said the Ukrainian regime is going to
- 28:30pay for its crimes on Kursk land by
- 28:32losing territory to create this buffer zone, because
- 28:38we're going to create this buffer zone.
- 28:40And he said, by the way, to the
- 28:42city of Sumy, the regional center, there's only
- 28:46around 10.5 kilometers left.
- 28:48And he says Russia has no political plans
- 28:50for Sumy or the region in general.
- 28:53And he says that Russia will follow proposals
- 28:56or defense ministry and general staff.
- 28:58This is Putin's careful wording.
- 29:00He says no political plan, but he also
- 29:02says the army is only 10 kilometers away.
- 29:04He didn't say that accidentally.
- 29:06That's pressure to give up on Sumy, or
- 29:08you're going to lose Sumy too.
- 29:10Kiev, that's an entire obelisk, but the capital
- 29:13of it is Sumy.
- 29:14You cannot demand a ceasefire in four regions
- 29:17while we're approaching Sumy, basically.
- 29:21So Kupyansk and the Western grouping, it's the
- 29:24exact same thing.
- 29:25The troops are two and a half kilometers
- 29:27from the Western edges of Kupyansk, and that's
- 29:29another big industrial place.
- 29:31He then says a mixed Ukrainian group of
- 29:345,000 people is blocked in, is circled
- 29:36in on the left bank of the river
- 29:38Oskol.
- 29:39And he pressed against the river, and Russian
- 29:41formations are squeezing them from the northeast and
- 29:43south.
- 29:44And he says, we're almost have them completely
- 29:47encircled.
- 29:48And until complete encirclement, everything is there under
- 29:53control.
- 29:54But until the final circlement, there remains somewhere
- 29:57around two kilometers.
- 29:58And he says it's the previous Ukrainian grouping
- 30:02that was completely destroyed.
- 30:05Same thing that happened in Krasny Liman and
- 30:07Liman.
- 30:08Same thing that happens in Slavyansk, Kramatorsk, Ruzhivka,
- 30:11Konstantinovka, all of those big cities.
- 30:14It's an entire urban belt, and that's the
- 30:18next strategic system.
- 30:19The Third Army is moving towards Slavyansk at
- 30:22a good pace, and has entered Nikolaevka, and
- 30:25it's about eight or nine kilometers from Slavyansk.
- 30:28All of these things are important, because it's
- 30:32completely ignored in the West.
- 30:35Oh, yeah, Ukraine's kicking ass.
- 30:37Oh, really?
- 30:39I don't see it that way.
- 30:42I don't see it that way.
- 30:44You might be blowing up some civilians in
- 30:47Russia, and making people hurt.
- 30:50You might be making them hurt at the
- 30:52gas pump.
- 30:53Not as bad as us.
- 30:54Their gas is still a hell of a
- 30:56lot cheaper than ours.
- 30:57But, you know, there it is.
- 31:00Konstantinovka, 96 percent of the city is in
- 31:03Russian hands.
- 31:04The gas war.
- 31:05Here's what Russia's doing.
- 31:06Get this.
- 31:07Russia is now doing this.
- 31:09In between the big cities, like Sumy, get
- 31:12this, based on these transcripts, and I watched
- 31:15this for quite a while last night.
- 31:17It was interesting.
- 31:18What they're targeting is there's these roads, and
- 31:20all their roads are either M roads, R
- 31:22roads, N roads, kind of like us and
- 31:24US highway this, highway that.
- 31:26Those are M, and R, and N.
- 31:29So, between Dnipro and Kharkiv, they're on the
- 31:31M-29 road, on the M-3 road,
- 31:33on the R-46 road.
- 31:35These are highways.
- 31:36Gas stations.
- 31:37They're blowing up all the gas stations.
- 31:39There are no gas stations left.
- 31:43Russia has taken out the entire line of
- 31:46them, all the way from Dnipro to Kharkiv.
- 31:49All the way from Kharkiv to Kremenchuk in
- 31:52Kyiv.
- 31:53Kharkiv and Sumy.
- 31:55Nikopol and Dnipro.
- 31:57Zaporizhia and Orekhov.
- 32:00And then the gas stations in Nikopol, Zaporizhia,
- 32:03Kharkiv, approaches, and all along the key eastern
- 32:06roads.
- 32:07And so, the oil bases and fuel depots
- 32:09eat deeper west, including around Kropyvnytskyi.
- 32:17I can't say the word.
- 32:20Kropyvnytskyi.
- 32:21Kropyvnytskyi.
- 32:21I had the udreynia wrong.
- 32:23Anyway, the repeated phrase is one-way tickets.
- 32:27Like, you might have enough gas to get
- 32:29one way into Sumy, but you're never getting
- 32:32back, because there are no gas stations left
- 32:34in Sumy at all.
- 32:37And so, you can't leave Sumy once you
- 32:39get there.
- 32:40And you better fill up pretty damn far
- 32:43away, because you're never going to get a
- 32:45gas station.
- 32:46Russia, over the last two weeks, has been
- 32:48systematically destroying each and every gas station.
- 32:52They don't need to destroy every tank at
- 32:55the front.
- 32:55They just destroy the fuel web behind the
- 32:58tank.
- 32:58Of course, they've already destroyed all the tanks
- 33:00anyway.
- 33:01And it's not necessary to capture Kharkiv tomorrow,
- 33:03because Kharkiv can no longer be fed, fueled,
- 33:07reinforced, evacuated, or defended before winter.
- 33:11And in the winter, Russia's going to, you
- 33:14know, roll through it.
- 33:16So, they're not necessarily going to storm Zaporizhye
- 33:19yet, but if they cut this all through.
- 33:22So, what's the drone comparison, finally, in this?
- 33:26Ukraine's long-range drone campaign can cause damage
- 33:30to Russian infrastructure, and it is.
- 33:32Putin admits that.
- 33:33It can cause shortages, which it is.
- 33:36Russia admits that.
- 33:38It can force, Putin admitted that, in fact,
- 33:41it can force Russia to move air defenses,
- 33:44increase production, import fuel, which they don't like
- 33:47to do, and reorganize supply.
- 33:50And the Russians have historically had the cheapest
- 33:52fuel.
- 33:54You know, buying gas over there is nothing
- 33:57like buying gas over here.
- 33:58It's cheap, and it doesn't cost you, you
- 34:02know, half of your wallet, you know, your
- 34:05left leg.
- 34:06It doesn't cost you that to fill up
- 34:09your truck.
- 34:10Of course, they don't, a lot of them
- 34:11don't drive trucks over there.
- 34:13They have smaller cars.
- 34:14But, you know, my truck over here, it's
- 34:17gone down some, you know.
- 34:18It was 130 bucks a couple, three weeks
- 34:21ago, and I filled it up again here
- 34:23this last time.
- 34:25It was barely over 100.
- 34:27So, it is coming down.
- 34:29But hell, February, it only cost me 70
- 34:32bucks, 70 dollars.
- 34:34I have a 35-gallon tank, and so,
- 34:38you know, well, it's 250, you know, but
- 34:40it, but it, I don't let it go
- 34:42all the way empty, you know what I
- 34:43mean?
- 34:43And, and it just, now it's, it's two
- 34:46times that.
- 34:47It's crazy.
- 34:48So, Russia and their drones, they use their
- 34:54drones differently.
- 34:56Not for psychological effect, but to destroy the
- 34:59road and fuel architecture supporting the Ukrainian military.
- 35:05This is why the gas stations matter.
- 35:09They sound civilian and minor until you remember
- 35:12that small unit logistics, drone teams, mobile launch
- 35:17crews, repair vehicles, military police, evacuation vehicles, troop
- 35:21rotations.
- 35:22What do they all depend on?
- 35:24Fuel, parking lots, depots, roadside resupply, which they
- 35:29can no longer get.
- 35:32So, you know, it's, you can parallel what's
- 35:38going on in Ukraine with what we are
- 35:40doing, the U.S. model of attacking Iran.
- 35:45It's the same.
- 35:47Long-range strikes and air power, you can
- 35:49destroy infrastructure, radar, storage, command, but unless there's
- 35:55a ground campaign, a regime collapse, or political
- 35:59surrender, destruction isn't really going to produce any
- 36:03strategic victory.
- 36:05And that's the same problem that Ukraine is
- 36:08facing right now from the other side.
- 36:12Drone destruction is not the same as control
- 36:16of territory.
- 36:17The U.S. can bomb Iran, Ukraine can
- 36:20drone Russia, but if the other side absorbs
- 36:23those strikes and continues their main strategic operation,
- 36:28they'll stray to Hormuz, take the special military
- 36:31operation, then the strike is a cost imposition
- 36:35tool and not anything that's gonna end the
- 36:38war.
- 36:39And all they really want, all they want
- 36:43is a ceasefire, to rearm and do it
- 36:47all over again.
- 36:50So, I don't know.
- 36:54You could argue that Ukraine doesn't need to
- 36:58gain ground immediately for its drone campaign to
- 37:01work, to be victorious, to matter at all.
- 37:05It matters, but is this gonna change?
- 37:09Is this gonna be what the West is
- 37:10representing it to be, a change in the
- 37:14trajectory of the war, that this means Russia's
- 37:17losing, that Putin's gonna, you know, that they're
- 37:20gonna lose?
- 37:23I tell you what, I speak to a
- 37:24lot of Russians when I go to Russia.
- 37:27I try to talk to as many people
- 37:29as I can.
- 37:30And it's not that they are 100%
- 37:33pro-Putin, but they're just like us, 100
- 37:38% pro-Russia.
- 37:40I mean, we're 100% pro-America here.
- 37:43You know, we give a lot of leeway
- 37:45to our BS, Department of War.
- 37:49You know, you can't be defensive anymore, you
- 37:51gotta be offensive and punch the world in
- 37:54the face because we're bigger than you, we're
- 37:56bullies.
- 37:56And so we therefore change our name to
- 37:59the Department of War and move on, bring
- 38:02out, I can't wait to say it because
- 38:04I love to say it, need to say
- 38:05it every show, bring out, put me in
- 38:08coach, come on coach, put me in, Hegseth,
- 38:11and bring in the JV quarterback and let
- 38:17him run with his new Department of War
- 38:20and fire all the primary quarterbacks, command generals
- 38:24and staff, you know, get rid of them
- 38:26and put me in coach, can control it
- 38:29all.
- 38:31I'm not for that method, by the way,
- 38:33maybe that's obvious, I don't know.
- 38:36But, you know, I suppose you could argue
- 38:39that if Russia has to direct air defenses
- 38:41away from the front, increase domestic political pressure,
- 38:44but this is the latest in the strategy
- 38:50changes for Ukraine, right?
- 38:53They have no people left, their boosification squads
- 38:57are out beating the crap out of people
- 38:58and sending them off to the front and
- 39:00their commanders are getting arrested for killing people
- 39:04and training, for beating the snot out of
- 39:07them.
- 39:07I mean, you take somebody who don't want
- 39:08to fight and force him to fight, you're
- 39:10going to just kill him because he ain't
- 39:12going to fight, you know, that's all there
- 39:14is to it and he ain't going to
- 39:15train, you know.
- 39:16The only thing you could encourage him to
- 39:19do is learn how to defend himself and
- 39:20shoot somebody that runs up, but he knows
- 39:23he's going to his death sentence, he don't
- 39:25want to be there and by the way,
- 39:27why would you want him there?
- 39:29His buddies don't want him there, you know,
- 39:31I don't want to be standing in a
- 39:32foxhole and relying on some guy who's probably
- 39:35going to run away, run away, we got
- 39:37to play some Monty Python for you.
- 39:43That's no ordinary rabbit, we could do a
- 39:47play some Monty Python, but think about this,
- 39:50Putin, he admits damage but says it isn't
- 39:53critical, he says the purpose of these attacks
- 39:55is to force Russia to pause, he says
- 39:58Russia will not pause, he says the strikes
- 40:00do not affect the front, he then lists
- 40:03Russian advances in Sumy, Kupyansk, Liman, Konstantinovka, movement
- 40:08towards Slavyansk, Druzhkovo, Kramatorsk and and those are
- 40:13big industrial cities and huge strategically and so
- 40:18the whole thing is this, Ukraine is winning
- 40:20propaganda wars, but Russia is winning the war
- 40:24and geography and the places that matter, so
- 40:28that's what we have.
- 40:32Now the parts that you really can't verify
- 40:36is 149 houses or buildings are left in
- 40:41Liman, remember I told you about that earlier,
- 40:45they say they've wiped out 200 gas stations
- 40:48and in the last several weeks, 200 gas
- 40:55stations, Russia we know is systematically targeting these
- 40:59gas stations along the main roads into Kharkiv,
- 41:02Sumy, Zaporizhzhya, Nikopol, Dnipro and we'll see, you
- 41:07know you could say that, I mean time
- 41:10will tell, but Russia's been advancing steadily for
- 41:15the entire time, you know, and more cities,
- 41:20how many cities this year, some pretty damn
- 41:22big ones, so I tell you the, of
- 41:27all these strikes, they do not influence the
- 41:33situation at the front, that's probably the strongest
- 41:39line is the opening line of Putin's discussion
- 41:43with this journalist, Pavel Zarubin and Konstantinovka, Putin
- 41:52says 96%, Liman he says 99%, Sumy he
- 42:01says they're 10 kilometers away, Kharkiv gas stations
- 42:05and roads are cut off in a one
- 42:06-way ticket, you know you can get in
- 42:09but not out, in Zaporizhzhya all the same
- 42:12stuff, so Ukraine is using drones to create
- 42:18pressure, Russia is using drones, bombs and ground
- 42:23forces to change the map, unless Ukraine's strikes
- 42:29against fuel depots in Russia force Russia to
- 42:33pause, the result is still Russian territorial gain,
- 42:38no ceasefire and just continued Ukrainian drone fire,
- 42:46and so I don't know, I thought it
- 42:47was an interesting interview overall and pretty informative
- 42:55and straightforward, which I say Putin has always
- 42:58been straightforward, you know, you don't have to
- 43:01believe him and you could say half of
- 43:03it's propaganda, hell, maybe it is, I don't
- 43:06know, but he's consistent, he said the same
- 43:09thing forever and he said the same thing,
- 43:13you know, you bombing our children at a
- 43:18beach in Crimea with cluster rounds, killing 150
- 43:25people, that's not going to stop us, and
- 43:27everything that they continue to do, he keeps
- 43:30saying, you know, it's not going to stop
- 43:33us, we're going to keep on trucking.
- 43:38Part two of this show is going to
- 43:40be a little bit about some of the
- 43:42Supreme Court ruling, I have a particular one
- 43:46I want to look into, the birthright citizenship,
- 43:53I haven't seen the ruling yet, I hear
- 43:54it's out, but I haven't seen it yet,
- 43:57but I'll have a check for that and
- 43:59I'm not going to go look for it
- 44:00in the middle of the show.
- 44:00Meanwhile, in anticipation of our FBI and police
- 44:08brutality, we're going to play a fun song
- 44:14for you, just because I like it, and
- 44:16it's Charlie Daniels, and the FBI is right
- 44:22in the middle of it, so we're going
- 44:25to talk about the FBI raiding the wrong
- 44:28house, and how that ruling went on there,
- 44:32and a couple other things in that regard,
- 44:34but we're going to start out with the
- 44:37theme to get us there, and then we'll
- 44:40finish off with some news, but the theme
- 44:42is going to be Charlie Daniels.
- 44:44Whilst I play him for you, where is
- 44:48he?
- 44:49Here it comes.
- 45:09I was taking a trip out to LA,
- 45:12tooling along in my Chevrolet, toking on the
- 45:15number and digging on the radio.
- 45:19Just as I crossed the Mississippi line, I
- 45:22heard that highway start to whine, and I
- 45:24knew that left rear tire was about to
- 45:27go.
- 45:29Well, the spare was flat, and I got
- 45:31uptight, because there wasn't a filling station in
- 45:34sight, so I just limped on down the
- 45:36shoulder on the rim.
- 45:39I went as far as I could, and
- 45:41when I stopped the car, it was right
- 45:42in front of this little bar, kind of
- 45:44a redneck looking joint, called the Dew Drop
- 45:47Inn.
- 45:49Well, I stuffed my hair up under my
- 45:51hat, told the bartender that I had a
- 45:54flat, and would he be kind enough to
- 45:56give me change for a one.
- 45:59Well, there was one thing I was sure
- 46:00proud to see.
- 46:01There wasn't a soul in the place, except
- 46:03for him and me, and he just looked
- 46:05disgusted and pointed toward the telephone.
- 46:09I called up a station down the road
- 46:11a ways, and he said he wasn't very
- 46:13busy today, and he could have somebody there
- 46:15in just about 10 minutes or so.
- 46:18He said, now, you just stay right where
- 46:21you're at, and I didn't bother to tell
- 46:23the darn fool that I sure as hell
- 46:25didn't have any place else to go.
- 46:29I just ordered up a beer and sat
- 46:31down at the bar when some guy walked
- 46:33in and said, who owns this car with
- 46:34the peace sign and the mag wheels and
- 46:36four on the floor?
- 46:39Well, he looked at me, and I damn
- 46:41near died, and I decided that I'd just
- 46:43wait outside, so I laid a dollar on
- 46:45the bar and headed for the door.
- 46:49Just when I thought I'd get out of
- 46:51there with my skin, these five big dudes
- 46:53come strolling in with this one old drunk
- 46:55chick and some fellow with green teeth, and
- 46:59I was almost at the door when the
- 47:01biggest one said, you tip your hat to
- 47:03this lady, son, and when I did, all
- 47:05that hair fell out from underneath.
- 47:09Now, the last thing I wanted was to
- 47:11get in a fight in Jackson, Mississippi on
- 47:13a Saturday night, especially when there was three
- 47:16of them and only one of me, but
- 47:19they all started laughing, and I felt kind
- 47:21of sick.
- 47:22I knew I'd better think of something pretty
- 47:24quick, so I just reached out and kicked
- 47:26old green teeth right in the knee.
- 47:29Now, he let out a yell, let him
- 47:31curl your hair, but before he could move,
- 47:33I grabbed me a chair and said, watch
- 47:35him, folk, because he's a thoroughly dangerous man.
- 47:39Well, you may not know it, but this
- 47:41man's a spy.
- 47:42He's an undercover agent for the FBI, and
- 47:44he's been sent down here to infiltrate the
- 47:47Q Club's plans.
- 47:49He was still bent over, holding on to
- 47:51his knee, but everybody else was looking and
- 47:53listening to me, and I laid it on
- 47:55thicker and heavier as I went.
- 47:59I said, would you believe this man has
- 48:01gone as far as tearing Wallace stickers off
- 48:03the bumpers of cars, and he voted for
- 48:06George McGovern for president.
- 48:09Well, he's a friend of them long-haired,
- 48:11hippie-type pico fags.
- 48:12I bet you he's even got a commie
- 48:14flag tacked up on the wall inside of
- 48:17his garage.
- 48:19He's a snake in the grass, I tell
- 48:21you guys.
- 48:22He may look dumb, but that's just a
- 48:24disguise.
- 48:25He's a mastermind in the ways of espionage.
- 48:29They all started looking real suspicious at him,
- 48:32and he jumped up and said, now just
- 48:34wait a minute, Jim.
- 48:35You know he's lying.
- 48:36I've been living here all of my life.
- 48:39I'm a faithful follower of Brother John Birch,
- 48:42and I belong to the Ammion Baptist Church,
- 48:45and I ain't even got a garage.
- 48:46You can call home.
- 48:47That's my wife.
- 48:49Then he started saying something about the way
- 48:52I was dressed, but I didn't went around
- 48:54to hear the rest.
- 48:55I was too busy moving and hoping I
- 48:57didn't run out of luck.
- 49:00When I hit the ground, I was making
- 49:02tracks, and they were just taking my car
- 49:04down off the jack, so I threw the
- 49:06man a 20 and jumped in and fired
- 49:08that mother up.
- 49:10Mario Andretti would have sure been proud of
- 49:13the way I was moving when I passed
- 49:14that crowd coming out the door and hitting
- 49:16toward me in a trot, and I guess
- 49:21I should have gone ahead and run, but
- 49:22somehow I just couldn't resist the fun of
- 49:25chasing them all just once around the parking
- 49:28lot.
- 49:30Well, they're headed for their car, but I
- 49:32hit the gas and spun around and headed
- 49:34them off at the pass.
- 49:35I was slinging gravel and putting a ton
- 49:37of dust in the air.
- 49:40I had them all out there stepping and
- 49:42fetching like their heads were on fire and
- 49:44their asses was catching, but I figured I'd
- 49:46better go before the cops got there.
- 49:50When I hit the road, I was really
- 49:52wheeling, had the gravel flying and rubber squealing,
- 49:55and I didn't slow down until I was
- 49:57almost to Arkansas.
- 50:00Well, I think I'm going to reroute my
- 50:02trip.
- 50:03I wonder if anybody'd think I'd flipped if
- 50:05I went to L.A. via Omaha.
- 50:12And there you have it.
- 50:18That is some good stuff from the Charlie
- 50:21Daniels Band back in the 70s and something.
- 50:25It's good stuff, Maynard.
- 50:30I tell you what, we've got some some
- 50:33news going on around here a little bit
- 50:40locally that some people sent me some some
- 50:45text yesterday, and I always get them.
- 50:48People send it to me all the time.
- 50:49They remember my history when I was practicing
- 50:51law way back when.
- 50:54I sued the state all the time.
- 50:56Started with a guy named Eisenberg, Michael Eisenberg,
- 51:04and he was a liar, a cop, a
- 51:07lying cop that he would plant evidence on
- 51:10people and, you know, he would.
- 51:14Some cops, and I don't every time you
- 51:18say something like this, you end up going,
- 51:20oh, he hates cops.
- 51:21No, it's not.
- 51:22I hate bad cops, you know, but I
- 51:24don't hate cops.
- 51:26I hate I hate the fact that they're
- 51:28all highly militarized and everybody's a SWAT guy,
- 51:32you know, and they're carrying around grenades on
- 51:34their body and stuff like that.
- 51:37I don't think everybody should be dressed in
- 51:39SWAT gear, you know, and and come up
- 51:42to my my window all bulked up when
- 51:44they pull me over for ridiculous reasons.
- 51:48It happened twice in the last six months.
- 51:50I've been pulled over for nothing.
- 51:52And I was actually pulled why I was
- 51:55pulled over.
- 51:56I know why I was pulled over.
- 51:57I was pulled over because it looked like
- 52:01first time I came out of a parking
- 52:03lot that is near a bar.
- 52:05It isn't.
- 52:06It's in the building where I was working
- 52:08and it just happened to be near the
- 52:10bar on a day when everybody's doing a
- 52:13what do you call it when you go
- 52:15to each bar and you got to get
- 52:17a stamp from each bar or do something
- 52:20like that and you check in at each
- 52:21bar and you get a whatever they call
- 52:25it a bar run or something.
- 52:27And that's why I got pulled over.
- 52:30I got pulled over because a cop saw
- 52:31me pull out of there and he was
- 52:33clearly in fact, he admitted it after he
- 52:35asked me, he goes, well, you're pulled into
- 52:37the second lane.
- 52:38That's crap.
- 52:39You can't even pull into the first lane
- 52:41from the spot I'm talking about.
- 52:42It's an acute angle.
- 52:44You can't do it in a big truck.
- 52:46It's impossible.
- 52:46And so he he pulled me over to
- 52:51on a pretextual stop.
- 52:53And that was in that was here at
- 52:56the at the lake.
- 52:57And then I had a pretextual stop.
- 52:59I was coming back from Florida a couple
- 53:01of weeks ago and I got a pretextual
- 53:04stop by a cop outside of Atlanta.
- 53:07And that cop pulled me over his crap.
- 53:10He's followed me for miles and he pulled
- 53:12me over and he said I was weaving.
- 53:14I said I was not.
- 53:15I said you were weaving.
- 53:17I said I was not weaving.
- 53:19I said I saw you when you pulled
- 53:20him behind me.
- 53:22You know, I said, what'd you pull me
- 53:23over for?
- 53:23He said you were weaving.
- 53:24I said, uh-huh.
- 53:25I said, well, why'd you really pull me
- 53:27over?
- 53:28You know, and he said and he said
- 53:30he asked me, he goes, you've been drinking?
- 53:32I was like, ah, so now we know.
- 53:33I said, no.
- 53:34I said, if you want to check, I
- 53:36just the convenience store you followed me from,
- 53:39which again was right next to a bar,
- 53:40the convenience store where I filled up the
- 53:42car.
- 53:43I had just bought, middle of the night,
- 53:46and I bought a bottle of milk.
- 53:49I bought a bottle of milk and I
- 53:51got a coffee and I kind of mixed
- 53:54the two together.
- 53:55You know what I mean?
- 53:55I like milk and I was, that's my
- 54:00dad said, you want to taste it?
- 54:01This is right here.
- 54:03I was like, no, I haven't been drinking.
- 54:04I've been driving for six hours from frigging
- 54:08Fort Myers, Florida to here.
- 54:11And, uh, you know, it just happens to
- 54:13be OG 115 in the morning, you know,
- 54:17that's why you pulled me over.
- 54:18And so these pretextual stops, I dislike, but
- 54:21both of these offers come up and officers
- 54:23come up and they're, they're buffed out.
- 54:25They're, they're, they're tricked out in all of
- 54:27their SWAT gear.
- 54:28And I just, I'm offended by that.
- 54:31I don't like it.
- 54:32And I don't like pretextual stops.
- 54:34If you have a real reason to pull
- 54:36me over, fine.
- 54:37But if you're just rolling the dice to
- 54:39take a chance that you can, you know,
- 54:41get somebody there, that's fine.
- 54:43And I used to speak about these things
- 54:45all the time back in the day here
- 54:47when I did my radio show from KRMS
- 54:50called, um, question everything.
- 54:53And I always questioned these types of things
- 54:55and always questioned the way that, uh, that,
- 54:57that police do stuff.
- 54:58Like I question, uh, Missouri's gaming machine crap
- 55:03because the state won't fix it and, or
- 55:07they haven't fixed it and they're disadvantaging people.
- 55:10And you get Catherine Hannaway given civil pressure,
- 55:14felony pressure, dependent on who you are.
- 55:17If you're, if you happen to be this
- 55:19person, I'll charge you with a felony.
- 55:20But if you happen to be somebody else,
- 55:22I'm not even going to come into the
- 55:23place.
- 55:24You know, she won't go into a VFW
- 55:26hall and arrest anybody.
- 55:27She ain't going to do that.
- 55:29And she, she might have somebody do some
- 55:31licensing issues on them to force the issue.
- 55:34But that doesn't mean she doesn't want to
- 55:36force them to take them out, but she'll
- 55:38make a deal with them and let them
- 55:39keep it for a while.
- 55:41Why?
- 55:41Because they're charitable, they're charitable.
- 55:44And she don't want to take, she don't
- 55:45want to take, uh, you know, uh, 20
- 55:48,000 veterans like me going, what the hell
- 55:51are you pulling?
- 55:52Which is exactly what I'm doing.
- 55:54I'm pulling the, I'm pulling the veteran card.
- 55:57Every veteran ought to be pissed off at
- 55:59this.
- 56:00You're going to go into a, a veterans
- 56:03hall and say, I can't hang out with
- 56:05my buddies in the veterans hall and play
- 56:07these idiotic games if I want to.
- 56:10Well, I'm sitting there having a beer and
- 56:11chatting with my buddies.
- 56:12Oh, I forgot.
- 56:14I forgot.
- 56:15That's a haven for organized crime, mid Missouri
- 56:21style, organized crime or, uh, rural style.
- 56:25We don't have to, well, geez, we don't
- 56:27want that organized crime back.
- 56:29Like we had in the day you weren't
- 56:30around then you pretty don't even know what
- 56:32it was then.
- 56:33You know, you should take those things with
- 56:36a grain of salt in the first place.
- 56:37I'm not saying they didn't exist.
- 56:39They did, but history is written by those
- 56:42who want to change the history.
- 56:43And remember, they use that same, that same,
- 56:46uh, argument to take over the Missouri judiciary
- 56:50with this, uh, unelected, uh, judges with, with
- 56:54these judges that are selected through this nonpartisan
- 56:58judicial selection.
- 57:00They did the exact same end run by
- 57:02claiming it was all, uh, necessary because of
- 57:08the, uh, mafia in the thirties.
- 57:13Okay.
- 57:14Those days are long past us.
- 57:16The mafia doesn't exist anymore.
- 57:17Why are we still allowing a group of
- 57:20unelected administrators to appoint judges in the state
- 57:24of Missouri and tell the governor what the
- 57:26governor's going to do and not the opposite,
- 57:28not the guy we elected to select somebody.
- 57:31It said that nonpartisan judicial system is crap.
- 57:35I could go on on all of these,
- 57:37on all of these topics, Catherine Hannaway.
- 57:39There's a, somebody sent me a link with
- 57:41the Camden County event going on right now.
- 57:44There's a sheriff versus the prosecutor, a credibility
- 57:47fight.
- 57:48The prosecutor won't charge anybody.
- 57:50If this officer is the investigating officer, because
- 57:54he's a loose cannon and, uh, and I
- 57:57read through that they have the, the, the
- 58:00Supreme court's nine to nothing reminder that government
- 58:03discretion is not a magical shield when the
- 58:06FBI rated the wrong house.
- 58:10Yeah.
- 58:11So we're, we're at Camden County, uh, site
- 58:15already has a public item called a response
- 58:18to the Easley allegations.
- 58:20It's Sergeant Bryce Easley and a dispute between
- 58:25Sheriff Edgar's office and prosecutor Rochelle, uh, I
- 58:29forget her last name, Grosvenor, Grosvenor.
- 58:31Um, when I knew her, it was Rochelle
- 58:32Christensen, or when I associated with her as
- 58:35a nice lady, I always liked her and
- 58:37never liked her politics, but I like her,
- 58:40you know, I have no problem with that.
- 58:41And so if you look at some of
- 58:44the things that I discussed, discussed locally, uh,
- 58:47local law, gaming machines, bad raids, lack of
- 58:52accountability in the government, you know, let's bring
- 58:54this close to home.
- 58:56You know, we've been talking to internationally about
- 58:58government, about pressure, about narratives, about propaganda, raids,
- 59:02drones, legal language to get outcomes that they
- 59:05can't get honestly.
- 59:07You know, you can't get Russia to capitulate
- 59:11with honesty or with diplomacy.
- 59:13So therefore you got to create a propaganda
- 59:14style stuff.
- 59:15That's government.
- 59:17Okay.
- 59:17That is, that's what government does.
- 59:20They're selling the public to keep us all
- 59:22fat, dumb, and happy.
- 59:23You keep my gas prices at 250 and
- 59:26I'll shut up.
- 59:27Right?
- 59:28That's, I mean, seriously, would I be bitching
- 59:31if my gas prices were 250?
- 59:32Probably not.
- 59:34Would I be bitching if you leave me
- 59:36alone?
- 59:36Probably not.
- 59:37Would I be bitching if you left the
- 59:39convenience store alone and didn't flat out lie
- 59:42about it?
- 59:44Probably.
- 59:45You know, quit lying about it.
- 59:47That's the part that gets me.
- 59:49Why are you treating us all like idiots
- 59:51as if we can't read and see for
- 59:54ourselves what's going on or worse as if
- 59:57we can't make a decision for ourselves, what
- 1:00:00we want to do with our money, with
- 1:00:02our spare time, and whether we wish to
- 1:00:04put it in a machine or we wish
- 1:00:06to smoke kratom or whatever the hell it's
- 1:00:09called or not.
- 1:00:10I think to people that smoke that crap
- 1:00:12are probably wrong.
- 1:00:14But I also think that people who smoke
- 1:00:16marijuana are long and marijuana are wrong.
- 1:00:18And marijuana is now legal.
- 1:00:20Nobody gives a crap.
- 1:00:21I never gave a crap before.
- 1:00:22Hell, I knew more lawyers and judges that
- 1:00:25used cocaine and marijuana than I knew regular
- 1:00:30people that used it.
- 1:00:31Probably because I associated more with judges, with
- 1:00:33lawyers, with stuff like that.
- 1:00:35And I knew who used and who didn't.
- 1:00:37You can spot them a mile away, first
- 1:00:39of all.
- 1:00:39And second of all, I saw it.
- 1:00:42And everybody was using marijuana back then, except
- 1:00:44me.
- 1:00:45I was, well, I shouldn't say everybody.
- 1:00:47That's stupid.
- 1:00:47There are a lot of people like me
- 1:00:49who are just anti from the jump.
- 1:00:51I don't want to do it.
- 1:00:52And I've never done it.
- 1:00:53And I've never engaged in any sort of
- 1:00:56drug because I thought I'd be extremely good
- 1:00:58at it.
- 1:00:59And frankly, that's one thing in my life
- 1:01:01that I'm pretty proud of.
- 1:01:02I've cocked up a lot of stuff in
- 1:01:04my life.
- 1:01:05But it never has to, at least I've
- 1:01:08never had the excuse of it being because
- 1:01:10of drugs.
- 1:01:11Hell, if I went to the Missouri bar
- 1:01:13and cried about a drug problem I had,
- 1:01:15they'd probably bend over backward trying to get
- 1:01:18me reinstated.
- 1:01:19Oh geez, I had a drug problem.
- 1:01:21Let's all cry together and sing kumbaya and
- 1:01:24maybe you'll help me.
- 1:01:26But you target me instead because I'm pretty
- 1:01:28straight up and I go against the state
- 1:01:31when it comes to things like this.
- 1:01:32And I call it like I see it.
- 1:01:36Okay?
- 1:01:36You don't have to agree with me.
- 1:01:37I'll be happy to debate you on it.
- 1:01:39But come on up and let's talk about
- 1:01:41it because let's talk about the local version
- 1:01:43of the same problem with these gaming machines,
- 1:01:46prosecutors, sheriffs, deputies, the travesty of body cameras.
- 1:01:52They only have the evidence of the body
- 1:01:54camera if it supports their position.
- 1:01:57You'll never get it if it's the other
- 1:01:58way around.
- 1:02:00Now, Rochelle putting out these videos, this guy,
- 1:02:04they are not good.
- 1:02:07That guy, I don't think the guy needs
- 1:02:09to be a cop.
- 1:02:10It's that type of cop that destroys it
- 1:02:13for all the rest of the cops out
- 1:02:16there.
- 1:02:17And like I always say in every profession,
- 1:02:22there's a group of bad people.
- 1:02:26Okay?
- 1:02:26You can pick it.
- 1:02:27I mean, I don't give a crap if
- 1:02:29you're picking a, I don't know, veterinarian place.
- 1:02:32You'll have somebody who's, you know, taking the
- 1:02:35drugs from the back and putting them into,
- 1:02:38I don't know what, into stealing from the
- 1:02:42till.
- 1:02:43You know, you got Walmart people that are
- 1:02:45lifting products out the back door.
- 1:02:47You got in every freaking walk of life.
- 1:02:52You have judges who are naked under their
- 1:02:54robes.
- 1:02:56It's an actual story.
- 1:02:57You have judges who are corrupted.
- 1:03:02You have judges who get arrested.
- 1:03:05This happens frequently.
- 1:03:06You just don't hear about it all the
- 1:03:08time.
- 1:03:09And so, you know, the trust us, we
- 1:03:13have discretion, you know, to get things right.
- 1:03:16And these things about what's called immunity, qualified
- 1:03:23immunity, which is a travesty.
- 1:03:26And, you know, you get it when you
- 1:03:28make these decisions on site, like this cop
- 1:03:36helping people attack this, what was this cop's
- 1:03:40name again?
- 1:03:41I don't remember.
- 1:03:43And the story is not really about him.
- 1:03:45It's a larger story.
- 1:03:48You know, this, what's his name?
- 1:03:50Easley.
- 1:03:51This Easley guy, I don't think he should
- 1:03:54be a cop.
- 1:03:55He's too many times.
- 1:03:56You know, how many times you got to
- 1:03:58do this before somebody holds you accountable?
- 1:04:00Nobody ever holds the police accountable.
- 1:04:02You know, they kill people and all they,
- 1:04:05they get a pass every time.
- 1:04:08They don't even, you rarely get past summary
- 1:04:10judgment because the law is so cocked up
- 1:04:13on it.
- 1:04:13It's just wrong.
- 1:04:15And they take this qualified immunity.
- 1:04:18Think about this.
- 1:04:19If you have a, let's use the same
- 1:04:22example, the Walmart cashier.
- 1:04:24Somebody comes in and is robbing the store
- 1:04:27and the cashier pulls a gun out from
- 1:04:30under pulls a, I mean, picks up an
- 1:04:32implement from the garden center and hits the
- 1:04:36guy over the head and kills him.
- 1:04:39You think Walmart's going to get sued for
- 1:04:41that?
- 1:04:42Sure they are.
- 1:04:43And because the guy was acting on behalf
- 1:04:46of Walmart at the time, they'll probably pay.
- 1:04:49But such is not the case.
- 1:04:51If a negligent or stupid police officer shoots
- 1:04:56somebody, kills them, beats them.
- 1:04:58And they always get, not always, but 99
- 1:05:01% of the time they get qualified immunity
- 1:05:05or the state of Missouri equivalent, which is
- 1:05:07called official immunity, which basically says if you're
- 1:05:11doing your job and you have the discretionary
- 1:05:16view to take discretion to act or not
- 1:05:20to act, to punch in the face or
- 1:05:22to not punch in the face, to defend
- 1:05:25yourself with killing someone or using a taser.
- 1:05:28If you have the choice between the two,
- 1:05:30then it doesn't matter which one you choose.
- 1:05:33It's justified.
- 1:05:34Period.
- 1:05:35End of sentence.
- 1:05:35You lose.
- 1:05:36Nobody gets paid.
- 1:05:38And so cops get to know this because
- 1:05:40they're trained it in their, in their, what
- 1:05:43do they call it here?
- 1:05:45Post certification.
- 1:05:47They're trained about qualified immunity and they're told,
- 1:05:50listen, you really don't have to worry about
- 1:05:51anything because 99% of the time you're
- 1:05:53going to be covered as long as you
- 1:05:55have discretion.
- 1:05:56Just, you know, be careful out there.
- 1:05:57But they turn off their cameras.
- 1:05:59Oh, gee, my camera wasn't working.
- 1:06:01The dash cam isn't working only when they're
- 1:06:03beating the crap out of people.
- 1:06:05Some people taser them at will.
- 1:06:07There are some bad cops out there.
- 1:06:10Piers this easily may be one of them,
- 1:06:12according to Rochelle.
- 1:06:14You know, I haven't, all I did was
- 1:06:15watch the videos.
- 1:06:16They're troubling and I don't like them, you
- 1:06:20know, but it's the same thing.
- 1:06:21It's this government overreach all the time.
- 1:06:25This, this pushing of your own personal power
- 1:06:30because you've been given some power in some
- 1:06:33discretion, you know, enter Catherine Hannaway, enter Kristen
- 1:06:37Templeton, enter the people who like to dictate
- 1:06:41what everybody else is going to do in
- 1:06:43their lives.
- 1:06:44And their own interpretation is all that matters.
- 1:06:48Their own interpretation.
- 1:06:50You know, there's nobody that's outlawed all these
- 1:06:52gaming devices.
- 1:06:53It's not there.
- 1:06:55It is not there.
- 1:06:57What they're telling you is not the truth.
- 1:07:01They're, they're propagandizing and they're careful.
- 1:07:04I read her article yesterday.
- 1:07:06I shared that with you and analyzed every
- 1:07:09freaking sentence of it because she's admitting even
- 1:07:13in the letter that she needs, she's hoping
- 1:07:16for a ruling from the court in this
- 1:07:22case that whatever the one was, the tuners
- 1:07:25case that was filed against them last week.
- 1:07:27She's hoping for, she, she announced it on
- 1:07:30this when she was announcing her new vice
- 1:07:32squad nonsense because apparently the mafia has taken
- 1:07:35over local convenience stores and there's all kinds
- 1:07:38of, and everything she listed is actually an
- 1:07:42individual crime against the facility or the other
- 1:07:46place.
- 1:07:47And she's claiming that this, and I want
- 1:07:49evidence of this.
- 1:07:50Oh, I want so bad for her to
- 1:07:52provide this evidence.
- 1:07:53I'd love to see the evidence that she
- 1:07:55has of people putting these, of what she
- 1:07:58said publicly.
- 1:07:59I would love to see that evidence.
- 1:08:01I'll bet you she doesn't have it and,
- 1:08:04or can't even point me to where I
- 1:08:06would talk to.
- 1:08:06I'll bet you anything that she don't have
- 1:08:09it.
- 1:08:09These are just like the, the war stories
- 1:08:11of a, of a police officer.
- 1:08:13Oh gee, there was some guy who was
- 1:08:15putting a string on a hundred dollar bill
- 1:08:17and inserting it and then pulling it back
- 1:08:19out.
- 1:08:19You know, he taped it in there and
- 1:08:21then they'd put it in, pull it out.
- 1:08:22Well, who are you screwing?
- 1:08:25Who are you?
- 1:08:25Why don't you charge that guy with a
- 1:08:27crime?
- 1:08:27If you know who it is, charge him
- 1:08:29with a crime.
- 1:08:30Or what about the one she alleged?
- 1:08:32$40,000 was stolen from the facility, from
- 1:08:37the company, because somebody was counterfeiting tickets.
- 1:08:41They were making their own tickets.
- 1:08:43Well, did you catch the counterfeiter?
- 1:08:45Did you catch that guy?
- 1:08:47And why are you punishing the machine?
- 1:08:50That makes no sense.
- 1:08:51You're going to punish the machine that got
- 1:08:55defrauded, the company that got defrauded instead of
- 1:08:59the person who did it all.
- 1:09:01I forget.
- 1:09:02That's your mafia crime link, right?
- 1:09:06So, so you got a couple of idiots
- 1:09:08making new tickets to turn in, counterfeiting them,
- 1:09:13and therefore you penalize the machine owner.
- 1:09:20Curious.
- 1:09:21Isn't that curious?
- 1:09:23Anyway, so let's, this is not a neutral
- 1:09:27legal interpretation.
- 1:09:28This is prosecutorial branding.
- 1:09:31You get to just claim everything is illegal.
- 1:09:33Just like Rochelle just claimed that officer easily,
- 1:09:36she's never going to prosecute a case from
- 1:09:38him because he's a liar.
- 1:09:39And now everybody knows it.
- 1:09:41They're not a liar.
- 1:09:41He's a loose cannon.
- 1:09:43And she's put out that I'm not going
- 1:09:46to prosecute anything with this guy.
- 1:09:47And now every time that guy arrests somebody,
- 1:09:50especially for a felony, and when you get
- 1:09:52a preliminary hearing and you go to the
- 1:09:53preliminary, any lawyer that would not do a
- 1:09:56preliminary hearing with that guy now, if he's
- 1:09:59on any of the cases, you should immediately
- 1:10:01move to dismiss anything that he's got or
- 1:10:04immediately call for the preliminary hearing or immediately
- 1:10:08take his deposition and go through each and
- 1:10:10every one of these videos and point out
- 1:10:12the craziness of what he is and say,
- 1:10:14so what, how do we know that this
- 1:10:16is here?
- 1:10:16And I'll bet you get admitted in your
- 1:10:18criminal case or Rochelle, who's the prosecutor will
- 1:10:22just dismiss it, especially in Camden County, but
- 1:10:24it could be in any other.
- 1:10:25Well, no, he can only be in Camden,
- 1:10:27but well, maybe he's associated with other sort
- 1:10:30of task force sort of things.
- 1:10:32And, uh, but his activities were pretty damn
- 1:10:34frightening on there.
- 1:10:35And I'm not any police I'm anti that
- 1:10:38sort of behavior all the time.
- 1:10:40I got the crap beat out of me
- 1:10:42by an idiot cop down here from Osage
- 1:10:45beach.
- 1:10:46And, uh, he, that guy's an idiot.
- 1:10:48I got chased for months by the same
- 1:10:50guy when they came in, uh, they, that
- 1:10:52guy had pulled me over literally every night,
- 1:10:55every night.
- 1:10:56And then when I finally stood up to
- 1:10:58him and I yelled at him and I,
- 1:10:59uh, it was an embarrassing moment in my
- 1:11:01life, but, uh, I went through the whole
- 1:11:03thing and I took him jury trial twice.
- 1:11:05The guy's a liar.
- 1:11:06The whole thing is there.
- 1:11:08That doesn't, you know, I was found guilty.
- 1:11:10All right, great.
- 1:11:11After two jury trials, first jury trial, it
- 1:11:14was a hung jury, second jury trial, which
- 1:11:16is kind of rare.
- 1:11:17They went on a second one, but it
- 1:11:18was a, I pissed off the attorney general.
- 1:11:20Of course they sent somebody down to, uh,
- 1:11:23to, uh, charge me.
- 1:11:24You know, I was, I was not popular
- 1:11:27because I say things like I'm saying right
- 1:11:29now, and I don't like government overreach.
- 1:11:32You know, I don't like it at all.
- 1:11:33They did it to me with licensing.
- 1:11:35They're doing it to these businesses with licensing.
- 1:11:39If you want to, uh, uh, dig in
- 1:11:41on these, uh, on these issues, I'm happy
- 1:11:44to do it.
- 1:11:44And I'd love to be, to be taught
- 1:11:47that this is not true, that my view
- 1:11:50of the world, my worldview, my legal view
- 1:11:53of the Missouri system is wrong, but it's
- 1:11:56not wrong.
- 1:11:58It's, it's just not wrong.
- 1:12:00The state isn't saying we believe these machines
- 1:12:04violate 572 and a court should decide the
- 1:12:07state is using tail twisters.
- 1:12:10They're beating Catherine Hannaway has a big club
- 1:12:13and that club is this, uh, the club
- 1:12:17says on the side of it, felony, civil
- 1:12:20nuisance, consumer protection, or, or, or business protection.
- 1:12:25We're going to protect these owners of these
- 1:12:27machines.
- 1:12:27No, you're not.
- 1:12:29You're, you're taking how, how much did you
- 1:12:31say a billion dollars out of the, out
- 1:12:34of the Missouri marketplace, a billion dollars.
- 1:12:39How much of that revenue would go to
- 1:12:41the state of Missouri?
- 1:12:42Like I said, Vernetti, when he was in
- 1:12:44here, uh, last Friday said that they estimated
- 1:12:47to be somewhere between 250 and 300 million
- 1:12:51dollars in the Missouri budget.
- 1:12:53And she's getting rid of it.
- 1:12:55Why?
- 1:12:57Because of Kratom?
- 1:12:59Because, because, uh, convenience stores are a Haven
- 1:13:04for drugs.
- 1:13:06What?
- 1:13:08Anyway, I bitched about that yesterday.
- 1:13:11Let's, let's talk about this.
- 1:13:12Um, the local news did a story yesterday
- 1:13:16about, uh, because they, Lake TV, I think
- 1:13:20it's called.
- 1:13:20I watched a short, short, uh, story on
- 1:13:23there and what this station is now saying,
- 1:13:27and they're wrong.
- 1:13:28And this, and I feel like calling them
- 1:13:30up.
- 1:13:30I know who owns it and I might
- 1:13:32correct them, but they, they went off about,
- 1:13:36uh, oh gee, uh, Anthony Geier was arrested
- 1:13:39and Anthony Geier needs to fight this all
- 1:13:41the way.
- 1:13:42He needs to have a, a preliminary hearing
- 1:13:45in each one of these and force them
- 1:13:47to show the proof they have that his
- 1:13:49machines do not comply with the Missouri statute.
- 1:13:54Show it.
- 1:13:55I bet they can't.
- 1:13:57I bet they cannot.
- 1:13:58And how are they going to?
- 1:13:59They haven't, they don't do anything before they
- 1:14:02arrest him.
- 1:14:03They, they, they didn't go in and they
- 1:14:05might've inspected his machines after the fact, but
- 1:14:10they didn't know about it beforehand.
- 1:14:11And so you charge them with a felony
- 1:14:13before, you know, that's crap.
- 1:14:15So they go seize all of his stuff
- 1:14:17because of her presumption that these are illegal.
- 1:14:21That's not right.
- 1:14:23It's just not right.
- 1:14:24And I would fight it all the way
- 1:14:25on principle.
- 1:14:26Now, the unfortunate part is she got him
- 1:14:28by the nuts because they have to spend
- 1:14:31a hundred thousand dollars to defend himself.
- 1:14:35I mean, who wants to do that?
- 1:14:37And then they'll offer him some crappy plea.
- 1:14:39And the only reason they'll offer him a
- 1:14:41crappy plea is so that he doesn't sue
- 1:14:43them because they need him to plead guilty
- 1:14:45to something or he'd sue him.
- 1:14:47You know, if it was me, screw her.
- 1:14:49I would, I would say if I, but
- 1:14:52I do it myself, you know, I have
- 1:14:53the ability to do it, to represent myself
- 1:14:55in that.
- 1:14:56I'd go, all right, fine.
- 1:14:57I'll take the risk, you know, and a
- 1:14:59lot of people can't take that risk.
- 1:15:01Me, I'd take the risk.
- 1:15:03Hell with it.
- 1:15:03You know, I've done it before.
- 1:15:05And, and let's take the risk.
- 1:15:07Let's go out and take, take these machines,
- 1:15:09but you should have something before you arrest
- 1:15:13me, not after you shouldn't be able to
- 1:15:16come in, shut down a business and then
- 1:15:19say, well, we suspect that, that imagine this,
- 1:15:23they come in and they see white powder
- 1:15:25on your kitchen countertop while they're there.
- 1:15:30I don't know what have you invite them
- 1:15:32in for coffee and happens to be a
- 1:15:35cop in uniform.
- 1:15:36You invite them in for coffee.
- 1:15:37And there's the, there's the powdery substance on
- 1:15:41your countertop.
- 1:15:43And they just, Oh my God, there's powdery
- 1:15:46substance looks white on your countertop.
- 1:15:48I'm going to arrest you.
- 1:15:49Well, but wait a minute.
- 1:15:51Wait a minute.
- 1:15:52That's powdered sugar.
- 1:15:53I don't get it.
- 1:15:54No, no, no.
- 1:15:55We're, we're, we're taking it.
- 1:15:56They have to have something.
- 1:15:57They got to put their finger in it
- 1:15:59and say, you know, this is cocaine or
- 1:16:01identified it as cocaine, something, have a dog
- 1:16:04come in and sniff it.
- 1:16:05Give you something.
- 1:16:07They got nothing.
- 1:16:09They got nothing.
- 1:16:10They haven't done any of that.
- 1:16:11Now, arguably, if the cop is in there,
- 1:16:13sure.
- 1:16:13You could, you could check on that.
- 1:16:15You wouldn't want that cop to be easily
- 1:16:17because Rochelle wouldn't charge if it was easily.
- 1:16:21And rightly so, in my opinion, I think
- 1:16:24that's a good decision on her part because
- 1:16:26somebody needs to start holding cops accountable and
- 1:16:29nobody does.
- 1:16:30And you know, that like, like Eisenberg planting
- 1:16:33evidence on people all those years ago, which
- 1:16:36is my first foray into 42 USC, 1983
- 1:16:41going against state actors and my first bump
- 1:16:45against qualified immunity and how crap it was.
- 1:16:52Well, he wouldn't be eligible for qualified immunity
- 1:16:54because he was a liar and their law
- 1:16:56is clear that you can't lie.
- 1:16:58But as soon as it becomes unclear and
- 1:17:00it relates specifically to your situation, you'll get
- 1:17:06away with it almost every time.
- 1:17:07Can't tell you how many wrongful death or,
- 1:17:09or 1983 cases when people got killed by
- 1:17:15the cops that you still lose.
- 1:17:17And then, then on top of that, the
- 1:17:19jury is extremely forgiving because they're police and
- 1:17:23they'll let them off.
- 1:17:24I had, I had cops get off the
- 1:17:25hook that were raping or screwing the girls
- 1:17:28in the jail.
- 1:17:30And they get off, they get off on
- 1:17:31it because they give the girls cigarettes.
- 1:17:34And so they turn the girls into the
- 1:17:36hooker.
- 1:17:37And why would we punish the guy who's
- 1:17:40sleeping with a hooker that she's, you know,
- 1:17:43trading her goodies for a few cigarettes.
- 1:17:47She's the one who should be punished, not
- 1:17:49this poor, innocent, defenseless, married officer.
- 1:17:53That guy shouldn't be, you know, people give
- 1:17:56them the benefit of the doubt all the
- 1:17:57time.
- 1:17:58I don't give a benefit of doubt to
- 1:17:59those slime balls.
- 1:18:01No way.
- 1:18:02Even if the girl, let's say that's accurate,
- 1:18:05that the girl's a hooker.
- 1:18:06So what?
- 1:18:07You're supposed to be better than that.
- 1:18:09You're an officer of the law.
- 1:18:10I hold you to a hundred times higher
- 1:18:13standard than I hold some felon girl that's
- 1:18:16in jail trying to get a, you know,
- 1:18:19money to buy tampons every month.
- 1:18:21So she doesn't have to take the crap
- 1:18:23that they're giving you or the given, you
- 1:18:25know, given out standard.
- 1:18:27She, you know, what were they making at
- 1:18:29the time?
- 1:18:2930 bucks a month to work in a
- 1:18:32place.
- 1:18:33And how do you get those jobs?
- 1:18:34Ask yourself that question in a woman's prison.
- 1:18:38Anyway, I'm ranting a little bit about that,
- 1:18:40but you know, let's go back to the
- 1:18:42slot machines on this.
- 1:18:44A slot machine looking device is not illegal
- 1:18:47because Catherine Hannaway says it is, says it
- 1:18:50looks illegal.
- 1:18:51It's illegal.
- 1:18:52If Missouri law has clearly defined it as
- 1:18:54illegal and a court applied that law to
- 1:18:57the machine, that software, that payout structure and
- 1:19:00that factual record, there are plenty of cities
- 1:19:02trying to get through this.
- 1:19:04Notably the city of Lori trying to get
- 1:19:08through this and operate it and say, look,
- 1:19:11we don't understand chapter 532.
- 1:19:15We don't understand it.
- 1:19:17So we're going to attempt to define it
- 1:19:19and make some money off it because, you
- 1:19:22know, if they're going to be in the
- 1:19:23machines, we want to, you know, the state's
- 1:19:25already getting their chunk of money.
- 1:19:26Not according to Catherine Hannaway.
- 1:19:28She said it's a billion dollars, all cash,
- 1:19:31unaccounted for, untaxed, is what she said in
- 1:19:33that article.
- 1:19:34That is not true.
- 1:19:36She doesn't have any evidence of that, that
- 1:19:38this is this billion dollars.
- 1:19:40How, if it's not being taxed, how is
- 1:19:42Vernetti sitting here telling me that the state
- 1:19:45is losing 250 to 300 a year and
- 1:19:47Catherine Hannaway is the one who's destroying that
- 1:19:50market, destroying that money for Missouri?
- 1:19:53I don't get it.
- 1:19:55That's, you know, I'm not, just like I'm
- 1:19:58not declaring those machines legal or illegal, I'm
- 1:20:02not declaring deputy easily guilty of anything.
- 1:20:05You know, I'm, you know, I'm saying that
- 1:20:08when a prosecutor says a deputy is damaging
- 1:20:11the cases and that she's not going to
- 1:20:13use him as an, as a leg of
- 1:20:15evidence for any case she brings anymore, then
- 1:20:18the sheriff responds publicly and says, I defend
- 1:20:22the deputy.
- 1:20:23This isn't a personality dispute.
- 1:20:26This is a justice system problem.
- 1:20:28And it's right here, local, you know, a
- 1:20:31prosecutor has to put credible evidence in front
- 1:20:34of the court.
- 1:20:35And she's just given a method for any
- 1:20:37defense attorney to forever prove that easily is
- 1:20:40not credible or that he's a bad actor.
- 1:20:44And trust me, a jury won't like that.
- 1:20:47A sheriff has run a department and defend
- 1:20:49deputies from any unfair attack.
- 1:20:52I've seen those videos.
- 1:20:53I don't think it's an unfair attack.
- 1:20:55I, of course, I'm, I could be slanted
- 1:20:58because of my own history.
- 1:20:59You can look at that and go, no,
- 1:21:01that's a tough cop.
- 1:21:02Yeah.
- 1:21:02This is what cops are supposed to do.
- 1:21:04No, it's not.
- 1:21:06That is not what cops are supposed to
- 1:21:08do.
- 1:21:08You know, a deputy has to make arrests
- 1:21:11lawfully, truthfully, professionally with a camera on.
- 1:21:15You don't get a flip it off when
- 1:21:17you're not doing it or you don't get
- 1:21:19to hide the evidence when it is in
- 1:21:22there.
- 1:21:24A defendant has the right to challenge a
- 1:21:27bad stop, a bad arrest, a bad report,
- 1:21:31bad behavior on a body cam video and
- 1:21:35any credibility problem.
- 1:21:38So if the prosecutor cannot trust the deputy
- 1:21:41and she says she doesn't, then every case
- 1:21:43involving that deputy is a disclosure problem, a
- 1:21:47credibility problem, a suppression problem, and a possible
- 1:21:52Brady problem.
- 1:21:56Even if the sheriff thinks the prosecutor is
- 1:21:58just grandstanding.
- 1:22:00And even if the prosecutor thinks the sheriff
- 1:22:03is protecting a bad officer, the issue is
- 1:22:06the same for the public and for any
- 1:22:07defendant.
- 1:22:08Can this officer's case be trusted in court?
- 1:22:11The answer to that question is absolutely not.
- 1:22:14As a lawyer, I'd love to have that
- 1:22:15guy as the officer on any charge for
- 1:22:19my guy.
- 1:22:20And anybody who's looking as a Camden County
- 1:22:24charge or a charge anywhere related to this
- 1:22:28guy, they need to check this out and
- 1:22:30ask for all video regarding everything he's got.
- 1:22:33Start quizzing him.
- 1:22:34Put the guy under oath for a deposition.
- 1:22:37Do it.
- 1:22:38You'll win.
- 1:22:39Ask the prosecutor.
- 1:22:41Put her under a deposition and say, why
- 1:22:44do you think this way?
- 1:22:45Tell me what you think.
- 1:22:46And get a record of this guy.
- 1:22:48This guy is destroyed now no matter what.
- 1:22:51Rightly, wrongly, maybe deserves it, maybe doesn't.
- 1:22:54I'm not supposed to judge to that.
- 1:22:57But let's talk about this and how this
- 1:23:00connects to my bigger theme of the week,
- 1:23:02which is these gaming machines.
- 1:23:04The same system.
- 1:23:06What if this guy went in and arrested
- 1:23:09somebody for having a gambling device?
- 1:23:14Same analysis.
- 1:23:16I'd say, you know, screw that guy.
- 1:23:17Let's put him under oath because nobody's going
- 1:23:21to believe a word he says.
- 1:23:22He's done.
- 1:23:23And the same system that wants to call
- 1:23:25small business owners criminals for having a machine
- 1:23:28at a convenience store also depends on officers,
- 1:23:32prosecutors, agencies that act without discipline or credibility.
- 1:23:37And if the government wants felony power, seizure
- 1:23:40power, raid power, and shutdown power, then the
- 1:23:44government should earn our trust.
- 1:23:47And I don't have mine.
- 1:23:49Not remotely.
- 1:23:50And government doesn't get to be sloppy with
- 1:23:54definitions, with people.
- 1:23:57And it has to be precise with its
- 1:24:00own definitions and immunity.
- 1:24:03And Hanoi is not being that way.
- 1:24:05If I'm Geyer, I'm telling you what, every
- 1:24:09single charge that's a felony.
- 1:24:12And why is he being charged with felonies
- 1:24:14in the chicken?
- 1:24:15I just didn't say that.
- 1:24:16Woman in the next county is being charged
- 1:24:19with misdemeanors only for the exact same thing.
- 1:24:22You know, I haven't seen the machines yet,
- 1:24:24but they're still.
- 1:24:27Why would one, why is one prosecutor do
- 1:24:29it?
- 1:24:30It's all selective.
- 1:24:31It's all propaganda.
- 1:24:32It's all nonsense because nobody has a definition
- 1:24:35for these machines.
- 1:24:36But here they are having to put up
- 1:24:38a hundred thousand bucks to defend themselves because
- 1:24:40nobody wants to define this.
- 1:24:42And they don't want to wait.
- 1:24:43She don't want to wait for the state
- 1:24:45to better define chapter 572.
- 1:24:51She's running for governor.
- 1:24:52She announced it to the AP, you know,
- 1:24:54months ago.
- 1:24:55She's running for governor.
- 1:24:56She's putting her hat in the ring.
- 1:24:58She's already doing it.
- 1:24:59So what does she want to do?
- 1:25:00She wants to be law enforcement friendly because
- 1:25:02that's what people like in Missouri.
- 1:25:06I like it.
- 1:25:07I'm not against law enforcement.
- 1:25:09They have a necessary role in our society.
- 1:25:12I'm against bad law enforcement.
- 1:25:14I'm tired of them calling it law enforcement.
- 1:25:16Anyway, whatever happened to policing, why do you
- 1:25:19focus on the enforcement all the time?
- 1:25:22We've got enforcement.
- 1:25:23We've got to beat up on people.
- 1:25:25Got to wear my SWAT gear, you know,
- 1:25:27to pull Sam over for going into lane
- 1:25:29two instead of lane one, allegedly, or because
- 1:25:34he weaved in, weaved at one 30 in
- 1:25:37the morning.
- 1:25:38You know, apparently that was, I'm the only
- 1:25:40guy on the road, the only guy on
- 1:25:44the highway.
- 1:25:45There were no cars forever until I passed
- 1:25:47that cop.
- 1:25:49So that's on the freeway on interstate.
- 1:25:52What is that?
- 1:25:5375 over there at 95.
- 1:25:55Sorry, that's 95.
- 1:25:57So let's talk about, and I don't have
- 1:25:59much time for it, the FBI wronghouse raid
- 1:26:01in the Supreme Court, nine to nothing.
- 1:26:03So the Martin family, FBI agents had a
- 1:26:08warrant, pre-dawn raid, used flashbangs, detained the
- 1:26:13family at gunpoint, and then realized they had
- 1:26:16the wrong house after seeing mail with the
- 1:26:19wrong address.
- 1:26:20Family sued under Federal Tort Claims Act.
- 1:26:23Government argued immunity because of their discretionary function.
- 1:26:28And the Supreme Court official opinion in Martin
- 1:26:31v.
- 1:26:32United States said the case involves whether and
- 1:26:35when the discretionary function exception bars suit for
- 1:26:39wronghouse raids.
- 1:26:40And the court vacated that judgment and remanded
- 1:26:43it to the 11th Circuit to re-examine
- 1:26:46the case.
- 1:26:48And the government always wants an escape hatch,
- 1:26:51this discretion.
- 1:26:52We had discretion to raid.
- 1:26:54We had discretion to plan.
- 1:26:55We had discretion to execute.
- 1:26:58We had discretion to interpret.
- 1:26:59And if we have discretion, we have immunity,
- 1:27:02right?
- 1:27:04And how they always defend themselves is the
- 1:27:08arrests, law enforcement decisions made in real time,
- 1:27:12that's discretionary.
- 1:27:13And the prosecutor says, no, the deputator's conduct
- 1:27:16is compromising prosecution and damaging cases everywhere.
- 1:27:23That's what it's happening.
- 1:27:24Hannaway, these are illegal machines.
- 1:27:26Shut them down or face felony civil consequences.
- 1:27:29The business is saying, wait, you're using legal
- 1:27:32uncertainty as a weapon before the legislature or
- 1:27:36the courts, admittedly by you, have stated clearly
- 1:27:40the rules that are going to be statewide.
- 1:27:45So across all of these lines, the government
- 1:27:48wants discretion, deference.
- 1:27:51The citizens need accountability and they rarely get
- 1:27:54it.
- 1:27:56They rarely get it.
- 1:27:59So I don't know.
- 1:28:03Qualified immunity wasn't really on the ticket for
- 1:28:07this Martin case, but qualified immunity will protect
- 1:28:11the, because that's 42 USC 1983, individual government
- 1:28:15officers.
- 1:28:15And it was a little bit different because
- 1:28:17it was a federal tort claims act case
- 1:28:19against the United States for an FBI wrong
- 1:28:22house rate.
- 1:28:23And they probably went this route to get
- 1:28:25around this qualified immunity because the federal tort
- 1:28:30claims acts, discretionary function exception, and whether the
- 1:28:33supremacy clause gives the federal government a defense.
- 1:28:36The court said that the law enforcement proviso
- 1:28:39overrides only the intentional tort exemption, not the
- 1:28:44discretionary function, but it also rejected the 11th
- 1:28:47circuit supremacy clause defense and sent the case
- 1:28:50back.
- 1:28:51So I'm interested to see that.
- 1:28:54And when it comes out and it's supposed
- 1:28:56to be any time now.
- 1:28:58So anyway, that's the end of the show
- 1:29:00for today.
- 1:29:01I'm glad you were here.
- 1:29:02I'm Samuel Trapp.
- 1:29:03This is international flavor.
- 1:29:05You can listen to us every single day,
- 1:29:08Monday through Thursday, uh, from seven 30 until
- 1:29:12nine every day.
- 1:29:14And on Fridays we do our civic outlaws
- 1:29:18program, uh, from, uh, seven to 8 30
- 1:29:22AM.
- 1:29:23I appreciate you being here and hope you
- 1:29:26have a very nice mid Missouri day.
