- 0:31SPEAKER_05: Hey, today on Headshrink Inc.
- 0:33SPEAKER_05: we're going to talk about Colts, what they are, where you can find them, and who belongs to them.
- 1:06SPEAKER_05: So this may sound a little bit different than what you were um used to, but Dan is here right next to me.
- 1:12SPEAKER_05: Hello Dan.
- 1:13SPEAKER_05: What's up?
- 1:14SPEAKER_05: And we have a USB mic that we don't know how to use that's sitting in front of us, which was gonna make the sound better.
- 1:20SPEAKER_05: But sadly, we're at least me, I'm not a tech guy, and Dan might Dan might be a little bit more of a tech guy than than me, but I'm not techie.
- 1:30SPEAKER_05: So um so I wanted to talk about Colts today.
- 1:35SPEAKER_06: Yeah, you did.
- 1:36SPEAKER_05: Now, and I know that you were just chomping at the bit to talk about Colts because you love you love Colts.
- 1:45SPEAKER_06: I think it's because you see a connection with Colts regarding a certain person.
- 1:50SPEAKER_05: Well, I was just thinking, you are currently a cult member of the Pokemon Go Club.
- 1:57SPEAKER_06: That's true.
- 1:58SPEAKER_06: I I'm a part of it.
- 2:00SPEAKER_05: Because what were you doing last night around the lake?
- 2:03SPEAKER_06: I was getting a Pokemon on.
- 2:05SPEAKER_05: Who were you with?
- 2:06SPEAKER_06: My wife and daughters.
- 2:07SPEAKER_05: Okay.
- 2:08SPEAKER_05: And was your wife doing this Pokemon?
- 2:10SPEAKER_06: No.
- 2:11SPEAKER_05: Oh.
- 2:12SPEAKER_06: We were just enjoying family time.
- 2:13SPEAKER_06: And I would occasionally hunt down a Pokemon.
- 2:19SPEAKER_05: Oh, okay.
- 2:20SPEAKER_05: Did they do they fight?
- 2:22SPEAKER_05: Do they give it a lot of resistance?
- 2:24SPEAKER_06: Some of them do.
- 2:25SPEAKER_05: Yeah, okay.
- 2:26SPEAKER_05: I noticed like when you came into this office your phone was on and it was Pokemoning.
- 2:31SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 2:32SPEAKER_05: Is that what it's called?
- 2:32SPEAKER_05: Pokemoning?
- 2:33SPEAKER_06: No.
- 2:33SPEAKER_05: Oh.
- 2:34SPEAKER_05: I turned on my Pokemon Go.
- 2:36SPEAKER_05: I just got it to see what it is.
- 2:37SPEAKER_05: You got it?
- 2:38SPEAKER_05: I did.
- 2:39SPEAKER_05: And you're judging me.
- 2:40SPEAKER_05: Well, no, no, no.
- 2:40SPEAKER_05: Hold on, because it was it's like a 90s thing, right?
- 2:43SPEAKER_05: Like when you were growing up, they had poke did you have Pokemon cards?
- 2:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 2:47SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 2:47SPEAKER_05: So I that was not even something that I did.
- 2:52SPEAKER_05: It's so sad.
- 2:53SPEAKER_05: That is super sad.
- 2:54SPEAKER_05: So I thought, what is this?
- 2:55SPEAKER_05: And so I I got the app and I caught one Pokemon that was in my media room.
- 3:01SPEAKER_06: Nice.
- 3:02SPEAKER_05: How dare they come?
- 3:03SPEAKER_05: Have you had one in your house yet?
- 3:05SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 3:05SPEAKER_05: Oh.
- 3:06SPEAKER_05: And so then I turned it on while I was driving down the freeway.
- 3:10unknown: Oh.
- 3:11SPEAKER_05: Thinking, don't do that.
- 3:12SPEAKER_05: I wonder if I could catch one while I'm driving.
- 3:14SPEAKER_05: And the guy was just running really fast on the freeway on i5, and there were no Pokemon around.
- 3:20SPEAKER_06: Did you hear about the thing where uh there was a rare Pokemon like in the middle of the freeway, and then people were running onto the freeway to catch it?
- 3:29SPEAKER_05: No.
- 3:30SPEAKER_06: And it got it was like a big accident.
- 3:32SPEAKER_05: So what would make it a rare?
- 3:34SPEAKER_05: Just there's not many.
- 3:36SPEAKER_06: It's just difficult to get, not common.
- 3:39SPEAKER_06: Okay.
- 3:40SPEAKER_05: So so I want to talk about a cult.
- 3:43SPEAKER_05: So it would a cult, I have a Wikipedia up here.
- 3:45SPEAKER_05: A cult is a relatively small group of people having religious beliefs or practices regarded by others as strange or sinister, a misplaced or excessive admiration for a particular person or thing.
- 3:57SPEAKER_05: And there's somebody that in the Christian world, his name's Saeed Abedini, he was in Iraq, you know, imprisoned in Iran for three or four years, and the Christian community was all up in arms, but we gotta free him and we've got to pray for him.
- 4:14SPEAKER_05: And so he got released.
- 4:15SPEAKER_05: And we could go back and listen to a podcast that we talked about this where he was gonna come back and we talked about how he was hopefully gonna focus on his marriage instead of focusing on media and making money.
- 4:31SPEAKER_05: And it seems like now he has taken the route of focusing on media and making money.
- 4:38SPEAKER_05: And I am I am unable to follow him on Facebook because he has blocked me off of Facebook.
- 4:47SPEAKER_05: It's so sad.
- 4:48SPEAKER_05: Well, it is a little bit sad because I just asked him some questions about why isn't he staying married and why isn't he focusing on his marriage?
- 4:58SPEAKER_05: And you um are able to follow him still, and so you kind of update me.
- 5:06SPEAKER_05: So do you think so the the thing that I am thinking about him in regards to a cult is that here's a guy who's obviously I shouldn't say obviously, I think he's doing the wrong thing in regards to his marriage.
- 5:20SPEAKER_05: And he's placing his speaking and himself above his marriage, and anytime you say anything on his Facebook page about it, he has all these defenders that will say how you're wrong, he's doing God's work, and they just don't seem to take into account that he should be focusing on his family.
- 5:39SPEAKER_05: So I I've thought, okay, that sounds cultish to me.
- 5:42SPEAKER_05: So what's your take on that?
- 5:45SPEAKER_06: Is it cultish?
- 5:47SPEAKER_06: I mean, I I mean based on I think it's more general, where people they like what he says, and so they ignore it's kind of like I think the same thing's going on with Trump.
- 5:58SPEAKER_06: People like what he's saying enough that they ignore the red flags.
- 6:04SPEAKER_05: Okay.
- 6:05SPEAKER_06: So I don't know if it's a cult.
- 6:07SPEAKER_06: That's why I was a little leery of like, oh, David wants to talk about cults, and I know why.
- 6:13SPEAKER_05: Okay, so if we go with that, the description, a misplaced or excessive admiration for particular person or thing.
- 6:19SPEAKER_05: Um so is the this guy puts himself out there as a pastor.
- 6:26SPEAKER_05: Okay.
- 6:28SPEAKER_05: Um is he doing is he acting like a pastor, you think a pastor should be acting?
- 6:38SPEAKER_06: Um that's a lot of sh I'm being subjective.
- 6:42SPEAKER_06: That's the thing, is like his wife made allegations of domestic violence and abuse.
- 6:49SPEAKER_06: He comes back, and according to his wife, the conversations they've had, he has not been open to working on their marriage and discussing those things.
- 6:59SPEAKER_05: And he did plead guilty to a he he played guilty to domestic violence in like 2009, that's what it was.
- 7:06SPEAKER_06: Okay, also so there's some legal credibility for what the wife is saying.
- 7:11SPEAKER_06: And then he comes home and it seems like his focus is on doing this revival, which he's stole from the material of another pastor, basically.
- 7:21SPEAKER_06: Right.
- 7:22SPEAKER_06: And that's been verified, I think.
- 7:24SPEAKER_06: And then he's put a lot of effort into his speaking engagements and his Facebook posts.
- 7:30SPEAKER_06: So, and and then the thing that's baffling to me is that people are such ardent supporters of him and go along with whatever he's saying when he's got all these really scary things going on that that no one is challenging or discussing.
- 7:46SPEAKER_05: Right, so that's the cult part of it.
- 7:48SPEAKER_06: There's it's cult like, but it's the I don't see people like giving him their firstborn children in a comedy with him.
- 7:59SPEAKER_05: Right, that's where I think that's where we disagree because I think when you think of a cult, you think of like uh the those people that saw the asteroid and they thought there was a Haley's comic.
- 8:11SPEAKER_05: Was it Hailbop?
- 8:12SPEAKER_05: Hale Bop, yeah.
- 8:13SPEAKER_05: And so the Heaven's Gate cult.
- 8:15SPEAKER_05: Yes, right?
- 8:16SPEAKER_05: So they all um killed themselves.
- 8:19SPEAKER_05: Yeah, they killed the they killed themselves, and so there's this guy.
- 8:22SPEAKER_05: So anytime you um say something that disagrees with him on his page, there's these people that come to his defense and say, He's a man of God, you are just and this is what people said to me, you are Satan's tool.
- 8:39SPEAKER_05: You are being used by Satan to bring down this man of God.
- 8:44SPEAKER_05: And I that's where I think it's a cult because I think these people that say he's a man of God, it's I I don't understand how they can say he's a man of God, but yet he's actively not actively not working on his family, like bringing his family together and working things out with his wife, from my perspective, right?
- 9:04SPEAKER_05: Because and I and I don't know him personally, but I do pay attention to what he posts and what his wife posts, and he's not working on his marriage, as far as I know, he's probably he's moving away from his family and children, right?
- 9:20SPEAKER_05: And um, how can people who say they're Christians and who think he's this great man of God, how can they be okay with that is is my question.
- 9:30SPEAKER_05: Um, and that's where I think the cult part comes in because you because yeah, with with Trump, I think it's cult-like as well.
- 9:42SPEAKER_05: Not cult like in come let me drink your blood, I'm gonna sacrifice your children, but this idea that I sacrifice my personal beliefs and my principles um for this person.
- 9:57SPEAKER_05: So Trump would be a potentially a cult leader.
- 10:01SPEAKER_06: Yeah, I mean like so I'm saying I'm saying like cult-like.
- 10:05SPEAKER_06: I think you're right with saying cult-like.
- 10:07SPEAKER_06: Okay, not full-on cult.
- 10:14SPEAKER_06: I think that's what it comes down to is this person has said one or two things that they like so much that they're willing to make a trade-off that these other things that are disturbing they'll overlook.
- 10:26SPEAKER_06: Because like on his um Facebook posts, yeah, Abadini will like say all these great things about revival, which he took from somebody else.
- 10:34SPEAKER_06: So it's not original to himself.
- 10:36SPEAKER_06: All right, okay.
- 10:36SPEAKER_06: And then he's like subtly sliding these self-promotional things that where the person there's an exchange of money, hopefully, to be had.
- 10:46SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 10:47SPEAKER_06: Like he was promoting his some sister or cousin's CD.
- 10:51SPEAKER_06: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 10:52SPEAKER_06: And then he's like uh telling people to not ask him directly for speaking engagements, but they've got to go through the bureau.
- 11:00SPEAKER_05: His speaker's bureau.
- 11:01SPEAKER_06: So it's like a lot of self-promotion just gets This is Daniel Fischel.
- 11:05SPEAKER_03: And Ryder Strong from PodMeets World.
- 11:07SPEAKER_03: When you have five and seven-year-old boys, I can promise you they love superheroes.
- 11:11SPEAKER_03: Oh, it never goes away.
- 11:12SPEAKER_03: Indy is 11 years old, and he's obsessed with comics, cartoons, video games, all of it.
- 11:17SPEAKER_03: Adler and Keaton both have Spider-Man costumes, and if anything says Marvel on it, they are in.
- 11:23SPEAKER_03: Same, which is why we love Lingo Kids.
- 11:25SPEAKER_03: They have Marvel Spider-Man activities that are totally age-appropriate.
- 11:29SPEAKER_03: And safe, made just for the little ones.
- 11:31SPEAKER_03: Plus Disney's Milana, Frozen's Utopia, all the characters your kids already love, and a few you're secretly hoping they'll get into.
- 11:38SPEAKER_02: I just load up the iPads with Lingo Kids before a trip, and with over 4,000 interactive activities, songs, and shows, it keeps their attention for hours.

- 11:55SPEAKER_02: Search Lingo Kids in the App Store or Google Play.
- 11:58SPEAKER_03: Lingo Kids, everything kids love.
- 12:01SPEAKER_04: Hanging out at the pool is great.
- 12:04SPEAKER_04: Relaxing and playing Vegas style games on my phone at the same time.
- 12:08SPEAKER_04: Drink in one hand and a blackjack in the other.
- 12:11SPEAKER_04: It's all at SpinQuest.
- 12:13SPEAKER_04: Over a thousand games, including your favorite slots and table games.
- 12:17SPEAKER_04: Be cool with this summer special.

- 12:24SPEAKER_01: SpinQuest is a free-to-play social casino.
- 12:26SPEAKER_01: Voidware prohibited.
- 12:27SPEAKER_01: Visit SpinQuest.com for more details.
- 12:38SPEAKER_05: Do you think um he's narcissistic?
- 12:43SPEAKER_06: Did his wife say that something about that?
- 12:46SPEAKER_05: No, I've I've been the one that has said, I mean, because if you look through his post, which I can't do because I've been blocked, but I can through other sources.
- 12:55SPEAKER_05: Um if you look at his posts, they're always often, shouldn't say always, they're often pictures of him and um something that he's doing, something about him that makes him look good.
- 13:11SPEAKER_05: And then under that is all the people that think, oh, praise God for you, you're the best, oh you're great, oh we need this in our land.
- 13:17SPEAKER_05: And I think, don't you guys realize that he's leaving his family?
- 13:21SPEAKER_05: How are you okay with that?
- 13:23SPEAKER_05: Um, and that's the the cult like piece of it.
- 13:27SPEAKER_06: He's getting a lot of like hero worship adulation, which I think I think like the Apostle Paul.
- 13:34SPEAKER_06: Like, yeah, Abedini suffered some horrible stuff.
- 13:38SPEAKER_06: Paul lived a lifetime of beatings and imprisonment and betrayals.
- 13:44SPEAKER_06: Abedini's got like a wellspring of support for him.
- 13:48SPEAKER_06: He got out, he was able to have people visit him when he was imprisoned.
- 13:53SPEAKER_05: He was able to Skype.
- 13:54SPEAKER_06: He was able to Skype.
- 13:55SPEAKER_06: So, I mean, and then he comes home and he's worshiped as a hero, and then he uses all that hero worship for his own opportunistic goals.
- 14:03SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 14:04SPEAKER_06: So I mean, the to me that's just like he's not you don't see one post where he's saying, please stop saying these things about me and just focus on God.
- 14:14SPEAKER_06: He's not saying stop giving me all this praise and give praise to God or anything like that.
- 14:20SPEAKER_06: He's he he's soaking it up.
- 14:22SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 14:22SPEAKER_05: Um it's it's too bad because I feel for the family, because you see the wife's posts, and she's I mean, she doesn't post that often, but when she does post, I mean her focus definitely is not on her husband.
- 14:34SPEAKER_05: It's like on the Lord and being thankful and things like that.
- 14:37SPEAKER_05: And so I feel sorry for the kids because their dad's choosing this life of speaking engagements and um notoriety over them, I think.
- 14:50SPEAKER_05: Um I thought that it was you sent me a video of some I Iran thing that he spoke at.
- 14:58SPEAKER_05: That was recently, right?
- 14:59SPEAKER_06: Mm-hmm.
- 15:00SPEAKER_05: And I thought his outfit was pr interesting.
- 15:04SPEAKER_05: All white except for a red tie.
- 15:06SPEAKER_06: Kind of reminded me of like a Benny Hinn.
- 15:08SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 15:09SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 15:10SPEAKER_05: The other thing I thought was interesting is that um I think he had people working for him to help with his translation on his posts.
- 15:17SPEAKER_05: And if you look at his Facebook post recently, they're it's pretty butchered English, and so I wonder if people that were helping him out had kind of left him.
- 15:28SPEAKER_06: That's an interesting observation because his first posts were very polished English, and then you hear him speak, and his his English is not good.
- 15:38SPEAKER_06: Right.
- 15:39SPEAKER_06: And then sometimes you'll see this post where it's like the English matches his speaking, and it seems more like that's him talking than like some kind of PR person.
- 15:52SPEAKER_05: I mean, it was so he he a couple weeks ago he said, I'm gonna be leaving the Boise, he's from Boise, Idaho, the Boise area, and if you'd like to get in touch with me, let's meet for coffee.
- 16:03SPEAKER_05: Please massage me.
- 16:06SPEAKER_05: My wife thought that was funny.
- 16:08SPEAKER_05: So we were going through Boise at that time, and I thought, I should message him.
- 16:13SPEAKER_05: You said you should massage him.
- 16:15SPEAKER_05: I should massage him and then get it on video.
- 16:19SPEAKER_06: Well, but you're right though, like it and it also confirms to me the allegation that he stole that content from the pastor.
- 16:28SPEAKER_06: Because his posts about revival are very polished, very polished English.
- 16:33SPEAKER_06: And then his his speaking is just not good English, and then his posts that are from him are just mangled.
- 16:42SPEAKER_06: Right.
- 16:42SPEAKER_06: So it's like clearly you stole the content about revival from this other person, and then pressing it off as your own.
- 16:50SPEAKER_05: So am I I know you like to get on me because I get like fixated on certain things.
- 16:54SPEAKER_05: Am I too fixated on this?
- 16:56SPEAKER_05: Like that he's this cult guy and he's he shouldn't like peep more people should be up in arms about this.
- 17:04SPEAKER_05: More Christians should be.
- 17:07SPEAKER_06: Yeah, maybe.
- 17:08SPEAKER_06: I don't know.
- 17:10SPEAKER_05: Like I want you to- Sometimes you're right, sometimes you're wrong.
- 17:12SPEAKER_05: I want you to be up in arms with me about it, and you and you you're just like, eh.
- 17:17SPEAKER_06: I don't know.
- 17:18SPEAKER_05: You got other fish to fry.
- 17:19SPEAKER_06: I think he he is who he is.
- 17:22SPEAKER_06: The thing that concerns me is just how people do what we were talking about that they do with Trump.
- 17:28SPEAKER_06: He says one or two things that you you get all excited about and then you ignore all these other red flags.
- 17:35SPEAKER_06: So it just makes me I don't know, despair about humanity and pray for truth.
- 17:41SPEAKER_05: I despair about humanity every day after all these shootings and people.
- 17:47SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 17:48SPEAKER_05: It's like don't go on Facebook or the news.
- 17:51SPEAKER_05: It's like when I was gone these last two weeks, I didn't know anything that was going on, and I was it was great.
- 17:57SPEAKER_06: And then I that was a nice break.
- 17:59SPEAKER_05: But then I read the news and I think, oh, these people have been shot, and now these cops have been shot, and it's just like yeah.
- 18:07SPEAKER_06: It did make me appreciate our local justice system in Clark County.
- 18:12SPEAKER_06: Because I think we've got like such a good justice system here.
- 18:16SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 18:17SPEAKER_05: And then I see all these other injustices happening, and like That would be a good I think that would be a good conversation because I think that I agree with you.
- 18:25SPEAKER_05: I feel like like all these outrageous things that African Americans are talking about, and again, this is gonna show I we're white guys, right?
- 18:35SPEAKER_05: So what can we really identify with it?
- 18:37SPEAKER_05: It'd be nice to get a African American person in here.
- 18:40SPEAKER_06: Well it's like I I believe them.
- 18:42SPEAKER_06: Like I believe, and I know because I know like just even with Washington State, there's different there's counties that are very punitive, and then there's counties like ours that are restorative justice.
- 18:54SPEAKER_06: And so the difference is night and day.
- 18:56SPEAKER_06: So I can see how you know, depending on where you are and then the the quality of the justice system you have, totally different.
- 19:05SPEAKER_05: But do you think that plays out into the police force, right?
- 19:08SPEAKER_06: Because Oh yeah, you've been you and I have discussed this that just like with the police force in general is more like hostile to the public at large.
- 19:20SPEAKER_05: Oh yeah.
- 19:21SPEAKER_06: I mean, I think black young men, black young males, and then also other people too.
- 19:29SPEAKER_06: Like there is a growing distance between the police uh enforcement and then the public at large.
- 19:36SPEAKER_06: Like it's it's a little scarier.
- 19:40SPEAKER_05: Okay.
- 19:41SPEAKER_06: That would be And wouldn't you agree with that?
- 19:43SPEAKER_05: I would.
- 19:44SPEAKER_06: You said something along those lines.
- 19:46SPEAKER_05: I think I would.
- 19:47SPEAKER_05: I think though I I can't like I hear stories and I w want to believe, like, okay, I I think that's possible, but then knowing I I know several police officers and they I mean, I don't know, I don't view them as these racist people that are out to kill black people.
- 20:10SPEAKER_05: But I think that what the general public doesn't understand is as a police officer, you're lied to.
- 20:17SPEAKER_05: If if a if someone can get something over on you to get out of trouble, they will do that.
- 20:22SPEAKER_05: And so that creates this atmosphere of um a cop's always not gonna believe a person.
- 20:30SPEAKER_06: No, and I I don't disagree with that, but I think it that general leeriness of of people can be intensified if there's a racial bias.
- 20:40SPEAKER_05: Sure.
- 20:41SPEAKER_05: I I think what I've heard, which what I like most, was I think cops need to do things differently, and I'm generalizing there, because not all cops are bad, obviously.
- 20:51SPEAKER_05: And community needs to do stuff differently, right?
- 20:54SPEAKER_05: I think the community needs to step up and hold community members accountable for their bad behavior and not just rely on the cops, because if the cops don't do it the right way, then the community gets on is gonna, you know, take it.
- 21:09SPEAKER_06: And I mean I I want to give cops credit where they if there's if it's possible, but it's like with the Philando Castile, it's hard to determine from that video what was going on because it happens after it starts after the fact.
- 21:23SPEAKER_06: But the Alton Sterling video is just it's like how can you give excuses for that?
- 21:30SPEAKER_06: Like, how can you propose an alternate explanation that is different from what I'm seeing on a videotape of a cop taking this black guy down, another cop getting on him, he's subdued and under control, and then but he's talking back to the cop, and so the cop pulls a gun straight in his face, and then the camera moves away a little bit and then moves back, and it's like bam, bam, bam, and this guy's like shot several times.
- 21:57SPEAKER_06: It's like I get it.
- 21:59SPEAKER_05: I get police are I haven't seen I haven't watched either of the videos on purpose.
- 22:04SPEAKER_06: I mean I get police are dealing with like hostility every day and lying and a criminal stuff, but that video is hard to hard to watch and then hard to come up with other explanations than what you're seeing on the video of a cop basically just blowing a black guy away.
