- 0:00Speaker 1: Hello, Hello, Welcome to Extra Naughty, More Nice. We haven't
- 0:04Speaker 1: yet quite come up with the name of this show,
- 0:06Speaker 1: but yeah, we're trying to do an after show, a
- 0:09Speaker 1: podcast where some of the stories Danielle and I did
- 0:11Speaker 1: not get to in the week we want to tell
- 0:14Speaker 1: you about.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Hello, daniel Hello, Rob, how are you? I know we've
- 0:18Speaker 2: gone podcast mad. Yes, I like them. I listen to them.
- 0:22Speaker 3: I do.
- 0:22Speaker 4: I listened to our, listen to yours. I listen to
- 0:25Speaker 4: a lot of a lot of podcasts. I know the
- 0:26Speaker 4: Brooklyn Boys, my son's obsessed with that. We have the one,
- 0:31Speaker 4: the one, the Breakfast one, Still Real Killers. I love
- 0:34Speaker 4: that one. And also Gandhi saw us on the side. Yes,
- 0:38Speaker 4: oh yes, and I was.
- 0:39Speaker 1: A little concerned about it. Why she told me it's
- 0:41Speaker 1: forty five minutes. She doesn't entertaining for.
- 0:46Speaker 3: Well, but sometimes it's not just one guest on her.
- 0:49Speaker 4: Sometimes she'll have you and then maybe she'll bring Diamond in,
- 0:51Speaker 4: or she'll have someone else.
- 0:52Speaker 3: Well.
- 0:52Speaker 1: Actually, I think I'm gonna have to recommend she is
- 0:54Speaker 1: you too, so that I could give her a good
- 0:55Speaker 1: fift Okay, it's some of the stories. Story of the week, Big, big,
- 0:58Speaker 1: big Story the Week, The big gospeita about Tom Cruise.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Is he dating Annada Aramus? We've seen them together. My
- 1:03Speaker 1: sources are saying yes. I broke this story about three
- 1:05Speaker 1: weeks ago. Initially, celebrities are always a little cautious, so
- 1:09Speaker 1: when they start dating their pr people, their friends are
- 1:12Speaker 1: always like, no, it's a work relationship.
- 1:14Speaker 2: Angelina and Brad it was a work relationship. It wasn't.
- 1:17Speaker 1: And so this started off a little bit slow and
- 1:19Speaker 1: now they're together. Once you spend your birthday with ac
- 1:22Speaker 1: she just sent her birthday with him. I think she's
- 1:24Speaker 1: thirty seven. And so they went to a romantic dinner
- 1:26Speaker 1: in London, where Tom practically is based. Now he is
- 1:29Speaker 1: in London, he left LA a celebrity couple.
- 1:32Speaker 2: What do you think? Good couple? Bad couple?
- 1:33Speaker 3: I did look you together.
- 1:35Speaker 4: I mean, if they're both happy, and if she's cool
- 1:37Speaker 4: with him, because he's very involved, to be.
- 1:39Speaker 2: Honest, like with scientology, scientology, and.
- 1:41Speaker 3: If she accepts his lifestyle and she's cool with it,
- 1:43Speaker 3: then it's fine.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:44Speaker 1: All we know that if you date Tom Cruise, you
- 1:47Speaker 1: have to be involved in the Church of Scientology is
- 1:50Speaker 1: what they would call it. Some people just call it scientology.
- 1:53Speaker 1: They don't want to use that word church around this,
- 1:55Speaker 1: but Tom really believes in this.
- 1:56Speaker 2: This is who he is.
- 1:57Speaker 1: When you hear stories, when you read stories that Tom
- 2:00Speaker 1: is leaving scientology, that's not.
- 2:04Speaker 4: And I think that he's very upfront and honest with
- 2:06Speaker 4: keep on and he'll tell you. He's like, look, this
- 2:08Speaker 4: is me. You take it and you leave it.
- 2:09Speaker 1: And that's the other thing with Tom is in his sixties,
- 2:11Speaker 1: he's one of the most famous people in the world.
- 2:14Speaker 2: You know what you're getting, Like, there's no way that
- 2:16Speaker 2: Ms is going to.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Be like I didn't know you were, Katie Holmes, like Google,
- 2:26Speaker 1: she's not stupid. Like a friend of mine, I called
- 2:28Speaker 1: somebody who knows Anna quite well, and they said, she's
- 2:30Speaker 1: the type of person that before she goes to a
- 2:33Speaker 1: restaurant she googles the menu, so she's googling what pastor
- 2:37Speaker 1: she knows she knows.
- 2:39Speaker 4: I do find it interesting that he doesn't speak to
- 2:42Speaker 4: his children, like I don't know if he doesn't speak
- 2:44Speaker 4: to his first.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Two speaks the first two, but he doesn't speak to you.
- 2:47Speaker 3: Sorry. He had with.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Katie's this thing in scientology called disentanglement. I think that's
- 2:53Speaker 1: a disconnection and what it is is that scientologists do
- 2:57Speaker 1: not want to have relationships deep relationship with people who
- 3:00Speaker 1: are not men.
- 3:01Speaker 4: But this is your child, absolutely, and so me being
- 3:05Speaker 4: his other half now dating him, that would bother. That
- 3:09Speaker 4: would be like, you know what, that should be the
- 3:11Speaker 4: most important to you, your child.
- 3:14Speaker 3: So I wouldn't m.
- 3:16Speaker 1: KT homes would talk about something, some ironclad something.
- 3:27Speaker 2: They have never not a bad word, what story?
- 3:31Speaker 4: So oh my gosh, I have so many So we
- 3:33Speaker 4: love We talk about Steve from Blues Clues on the
- 3:36Speaker 4: show a lot, you know, and Steve I feel like
- 3:40Speaker 4: he's made a little bit of a resurgence, like people
- 3:42Speaker 4: talk about it.
- 3:44Speaker 3: So he was talking about it.
- 3:46Speaker 4: Do you remember when people said he was dead, that
- 3:49Speaker 4: Steve Burns was dead. He said that those rumors followed
- 3:53Speaker 4: him around so much and they were devastating. He said
- 3:56Speaker 4: that it caused him to have such bad mental health.
- 3:59Speaker 4: Said he built a house in Brooklyn. He never left it.
- 4:02Speaker 4: He called it the gray of my life. He says,
- 4:05Speaker 4: it was about ten years where I did nothing but
- 4:07Speaker 4: drink a couple of bottles of wine every night alone,
- 4:10Speaker 4: watch Miss MythBusters, and just eat pad ty food. He
- 4:14Speaker 4: gained fifty pounds was completely unrecognizable, and yeah, he said,
- 4:19Speaker 4: everyone thought I was dead, and eventually I started playing along.
- 4:22Speaker 2: My goodness. Yeah, because a couple of things here.
- 4:25Speaker 1: One staying at Homiats in that food sounds like a
- 4:27Speaker 1: pretty great life.
- 4:28Speaker 3: To make, but not a there's depression with it.
- 4:32Speaker 1: And if you don't want people to think you're dead,
- 4:35Speaker 1: you go out right almost like.
- 4:40Speaker 4: But I think his thing was that even when he'd
- 4:42Speaker 4: show up and was alive, people would say, I thought
- 4:45Speaker 4: you were dead. And he was getting so sick of it,
- 4:47Speaker 4: and you know who he says really kind of got
- 4:50Speaker 4: him out of it. Steve from Blues Clothes his own
- 4:53Speaker 4: advice from his character Steve from Blues Cloth, at least
- 4:56Speaker 4: that's what he said. He said Steve sought help after
- 4:58Speaker 4: taking some advice from a w I teacher.
- 5:00Speaker 3: Steve from Blues.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Alter ego, can you do that?
- 5:04Speaker 1: Like Beyonce has Sasha Fi, Yeah, I have Robe French.
- 5:09Speaker 1: I French when I'm nervous, Like if I'm gonna go
- 5:11Speaker 1: on a big TV show, I'm not nervous here anymore.
- 5:13Speaker 1: I love coming to do Yeah, but if I do
- 5:15Speaker 1: a big TV show, I'm not good at public speaking either.
- 5:18Speaker 1: If I've got to do like a commencement speech or
- 5:20Speaker 1: a speech at a university or something I always say
- 5:23Speaker 1: in the dressing room.
- 5:24Speaker 2: Before I go on. Rob shote, you could do this.
- 5:28Speaker 4: See my husband, I I thought he was talking to
- 5:31Speaker 4: himself one morning and I was like, what are you doing.
- 5:33Speaker 3: He was going in front of a client.
- 5:35Speaker 4: You know, he's a real estate agent, and sometimes he
- 5:38Speaker 4: gives himself a little same thing, a little pep talk
- 5:40Speaker 4: in the mirror.
- 5:41Speaker 3: You got this, You're gonna get this deal.
- 5:43Speaker 2: You know.
- 5:45Speaker 1: I won't name names because it back on the shows,
- 5:48Speaker 1: but sometimes when I'm in green rooms, I can see
- 5:50Speaker 1: the host of the show Big TV Stars like looking
- 5:52Speaker 1: in the mirror saying, you.
- 5:53Speaker 2: Got it, Yeah, got it, you got it.
- 5:55Speaker 3: If it works, you.
- 5:57Speaker 1: Got to come up with an alter. Okay, big news
- 6:00Speaker 1: over the week that we're talking about a little bit
- 6:01Speaker 1: sort of niche niche here, but lots of people love
- 6:04Speaker 1: the theater. Tonia Waters out the snubs, Deniel Washington, Jake
- 6:08Speaker 1: Gyllenhall also to Kieran Culkin, Yeah, all snubs. I think
- 6:13Speaker 1: it's because not because of the quality of they work.
- 6:15Speaker 2: They're excellent. That ticket price bugged.
- 6:18Speaker 4: Oh it's ridiculous, And I think that's thousand dollars.
- 6:21Speaker 1: It's just so expensive. I think people got really, really
- 6:25Speaker 1: sick of that. Did you see any of the best musicals?
- 6:26Speaker 1: So these are the ones who loves when he's the
- 6:28Speaker 1: social Club?
- 6:29Speaker 3: Did you say that's the only one? I think I
- 6:30Speaker 3: did see.
- 6:30Speaker 2: I didn't see it.
- 6:31Speaker 3: I want to see that one. Everyone talks about it.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Yeah, have not seen that. I saw Dead Outlaw.
- 6:37Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, did you see Dead out Law?
- 6:38Speaker 2: It's so sick, it's so good, it's so good. How
- 6:41Speaker 2: is he dead?
- 6:42Speaker 4: He's dead like part of the show and he doesn't
- 6:45Speaker 4: move and the whole time I'm looking at him because
- 6:47Speaker 4: his eyes are half open.
- 6:49Speaker 2: Is doing the story of it, and it sounds weird
- 6:52Speaker 2: for a musical, and that's why.
- 6:53Speaker 3: Yeah, it's based on a true story.
- 6:54Speaker 2: A true story.
- 6:55Speaker 1: There is a corpse that went from festival to festival,
- 6:58Speaker 1: carnival to carnival, and I think people thought it was
- 7:00Speaker 1: a wax world.
- 7:01Speaker 2: Yes, it was an actual corpse.
- 7:03Speaker 4: The only time they figured out he was a real
- 7:05Speaker 4: person when his arm fell off in one of the
- 7:09Speaker 4: carnivals and somebody went, that's funny, real, but that's amazing.
- 7:13Speaker 2: And then my other favorite show is I loved Death.
- 7:16Speaker 3: Becomes How hysterical was that?
- 7:19Speaker 1: So?
- 7:19Speaker 2: Based on the movie What's her Name? Meryl Stream?
- 7:22Speaker 4: You laugh from beginning to end of that big old
- 7:24Speaker 4: fla if you like old fashioned Broadway tap dancing songs, Yeah,
- 7:28Speaker 4: dancing melodies and costume changes and a good laugh.
- 7:31Speaker 2: That's for you.
- 7:31Speaker 1: And then my other favorite and a friend of this
- 7:33Speaker 1: show too, happily merrily hang let me get this right?
- 7:37Speaker 2: Maybe happy?
- 7:38Speaker 3: Yes?
- 7:38Speaker 1: Did you see it?
- 7:39Speaker 3: Love so good?
- 7:40Speaker 1: Two robots and their charger is broken. Yes, they might
- 7:43Speaker 1: be coming.
- 7:44Speaker 3: To and they're absolute now Yeah, there's new versions of it.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Reminded me have grown older. We're all going obsolete. People
- 7:51Speaker 2: are replacing us.
- 7:52Speaker 1: I'm looking at you, who's dress at Perez Hilton, I
- 7:55Speaker 1: can see you.
- 7:56Speaker 2: It's replaced me. I can see that Tommy.
- 8:01Speaker 3: So we all become.
- 8:05Speaker 2: Really really touching.
- 8:05Speaker 3: Darren Chris, he's amazing, he's amazing.
- 8:09Speaker 4: I guess because the girl and it didn't get she didn't,
- 8:12Speaker 4: she didn't get nominated. I thought she was great, but
- 8:14Speaker 4: she doesn't really act like a robot because she's a
- 8:16Speaker 4: newer model, so that maybe that could have been something
- 8:19Speaker 4: to do that I don't know, is boop on there.
- 8:21Speaker 1: I forget Boop did not get nominated for Best Musical,
- 8:23Speaker 1: but it did get for choreography.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Jerry and she's up and she.
- 8:28Speaker 3: That I loved fantastic Eric Bergan who's in it, Yes.
- 8:33Speaker 2: He plays a bad guy he plays.
- 8:36Speaker 1: And then the really cute guy Ainsley, I think his
- 8:38Speaker 1: name is Ainsley, This Australian guy whose boops Beyonce so terrible?
- 8:43Speaker 3: What else is on the list?
- 8:44Speaker 4: I forget that I love And I'm telling you, I
- 8:48Speaker 4: am so excited because I feel like this year I
- 8:51Speaker 4: have seen almost every show that is up for Tony.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Do you get so I get invited? I'm really lucky
- 8:55Speaker 1: because of what we do for a living. I couldn't
- 8:57Speaker 1: afford to go to as much theater as I go
- 8:59Speaker 1: to and I certainly be sitting and.
- 9:02Speaker 2: I would be upstairs, upstairs at the back, And so
- 9:08Speaker 2: we're really lucky.
- 9:08Speaker 1: We get invited by publicists go and see shows they have,
- 9:11Speaker 1: like press performances. And I sometimes because our lives can
- 9:15Speaker 1: be so busy, yeah, I sometimes roll my eyes like,
- 9:18Speaker 1: oh I don't, And I always love it.
- 9:20Speaker 3: See not me, I'm the opposite.
- 9:21Speaker 4: I'm like, the more of the mery, I'm going to
- 9:23Speaker 4: see Smash this week, I'm going to see the Michael
- 9:25Speaker 4: Jackson thing, and I'm going to see and Juliet for
- 9:27Speaker 4: the fifth time.
- 9:29Speaker 3: I'm going to the sing along. Have you seen Juliet?
- 9:35Speaker 2: I think I've seen it twice.
- 9:36Speaker 3: It's probably my favorite show on Broadway right now.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Mine is.
- 9:39Speaker 1: And this is such a good endorsement because once again
- 9:41Speaker 1: we get press tickets. So my sister came in from
- 9:44Speaker 1: London to visit, and she wanted to see a Broadway show.
- 9:47Speaker 1: But I had to pay, and so like when you've
- 9:48Speaker 1: got to put your own money up, that's when you
- 9:50Speaker 1: really know what you like. Say the critics all the time,
- 9:53Speaker 1: like I don't care about your review. What show would
- 9:56Speaker 1: you buy a ticket? You have to reach into your
- 9:58Speaker 1: own body all the shows on Broadway. Christine wanted to
- 10:01Speaker 1: see a show. She left it in my hands. I
- 10:03Speaker 1: bought two tickets to Death Becomes Her Yeah, good.
- 10:08Speaker 2: Scream, Oh my god.
- 10:09Speaker 4: That's the type of show where you leave there feeling
- 10:12Speaker 4: great because because it's hysterical, sterical.
- 10:15Speaker 3: Did you see Operation means Me? That was great? I
- 10:18Speaker 3: love to And it's the original broadcast from the UK.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Who's you winn Of those who can pick one winner,
- 10:23Speaker 1: who's your tony would let me read the list?
- 10:25Speaker 3: Okay?
- 10:27Speaker 2: And whenever it's the Social Club didn't see.
- 10:29Speaker 3: I didn't see. I want to see that one.
- 10:31Speaker 2: We'll go together, dead Outlaw love it. Don't give me
- 10:34Speaker 2: a outlaw.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Death becomes a happy maybe happy ed Din's operation means me,
- 10:39Speaker 1: you can.
- 10:39Speaker 4: Only I really think that maybe Happy Ending might take it.
- 10:42Speaker 4: I think, And I think Nicole Scherzinger is going to win.
- 10:47Speaker 3: She was amazing.
- 10:49Speaker 1: My niece is the associate choreographer on Sunset, so my
- 10:51Speaker 1: niece works. I'm going to say the one that will
- 10:58Speaker 1: win is maybe Happy Ending, which probably should turn its
- 11:01Speaker 1: title to definitely Happy End. But the one I want
- 11:05Speaker 1: to win it is death becomes.
- 11:08Speaker 3: Out really see, I would like dead outlaw to win.
- 11:10Speaker 3: Do you know what I also love it is?
- 11:12Speaker 4: But you know what I love about Broadway now is
- 11:14Speaker 4: that every everything's different. It's not just your traditional like
- 11:19Speaker 4: you know, death becomes a Broadway everything is different and
- 11:24Speaker 4: every like I will go see three shows, you know,
- 11:26Speaker 4: and everyone is a different experience and different, totally different.
- 11:29Speaker 1: And I love that and the best in the world,
- 11:31Speaker 1: the best in the world. I love with Broadway geeks together,
- 11:33Speaker 1: I hope it's not too boring. Some people are not
- 11:35Speaker 1: not into Broadway, but it is so special. Yeah, we
- 11:37Speaker 1: got like five minutes left, free minutes left? What's a bat?
- 11:41Speaker 4: But did you hear how Bruce Springsteen got the nickname
- 11:43Speaker 4: the Boss. So it wasn't like a sex It's not
- 11:46Speaker 4: a sexy story at all. Apparently it was from the
- 11:50Speaker 4: band that he paid.
- 11:51Speaker 2: Uh.
- 11:52Speaker 4: He paid his band and they would say, hey, Boss,
- 11:54Speaker 4: are we getting paid this week? And he'd be like sure,
- 11:57Speaker 4: and then he said some DJ heard it started you
- 12:00Speaker 4: think it on the radio. It went viral and that's
- 12:03Speaker 4: how he got it. It's not a sexy like, Hey,
- 12:06Speaker 4: I'm the Boss.
- 12:07Speaker 3: Never like that.
- 12:09Speaker 2: Michael Jackson.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Michael Jackson became the King of Pope because he insisted
- 12:12Speaker 1: he was the biggest pop star in the world and
- 12:14Speaker 1: MTV wanted him to be on one of their award shows,
- 12:17Speaker 1: and Michael said, I will turn up, I will accept
- 12:20Speaker 1: the award.
- 12:21Speaker 2: You have to announce me as the king of shut up.
- 12:25Speaker 2: That's how Michael became the King of I love it.
- 12:31Speaker 1: What would be yourself? If you're you're a huge style
- 12:34Speaker 1: they want you to turn up. You've got your dress on?
- 12:37Speaker 1: How are you going to be introduced.
- 12:40Speaker 3: The Queen of the Shoe Collection. Oh, I like.
- 12:44Speaker 1: I think I wanted to be Romp shoot or shoot up. Yeah,
- 12:48Speaker 1: the gossip gangster.
- 12:51Speaker 3: I like that. I like that. I think I'm gonna
- 12:53Speaker 3: have to rethink mine. I need a better one.
- 12:55Speaker 2: Shoes are pretty good. I think we've got a little show.
- 12:58Speaker 1: Thank you for listening, everybody doing these little bonus episodes.
- 13:01Speaker 1: You can catch me five days a week, Monday to
- 13:03Speaker 1: Friday on iHeart not even nice with Rob and Daniel
- 13:07Speaker 1: here every day of the week.
- 13:09Speaker 2: How long you been doing this show?
- 13:10Speaker 3: Almost thirty years?
- 13:12Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, and that's crazy. I do you know what
- 13:15Speaker 4: I tell people that that I and actually I use
- 13:17Speaker 4: pinch myself just like you said. I still every morning
- 13:21Speaker 4: We'll say to myself, look where I am. And when
- 13:23Speaker 4: I drive in and I'm at the stop sign and
- 13:26Speaker 4: I can see Times Square, I go, how many people
- 13:29Speaker 4: want to come here and never can come here?
- 13:32Speaker 3: And this is to me, New York is everything. It's wonderful.
- 13:37Speaker 4: And to have been on this station, doing this morning
- 13:41Speaker 4: show with these people as long as I have, I'm blessed.
- 13:44Speaker 3: I'm beyond blessed.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Just really pinched me. I sometimes saying we all have
- 13:47Speaker 1: days like this where we're a bit grumpy.
- 13:49Speaker 3: Yeah, course everybody is.
- 13:52Speaker 2: And like I say to myself, I don't have to
- 13:55Speaker 2: do this.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Now I get to do it. Yeah, And then so
- 13:57Speaker 1: many people don't get this. I'm honest, I'm not that talented.
- 14:01Speaker 1: I'm just being really really lucky. I work hard, but
- 14:03Speaker 1: I'm nothing that I'm doing. You probably can't do that,
- 14:06Speaker 1: but if you have a dream, you can do it.
- 14:10Speaker 1: Being here with you, iHeartRadio.
- 14:12Speaker 2: I love you, I love you. Check us out. You
- 14:14Speaker 2: can catch on there on the on the radio show
