- 0:01Speaker 1: Jarre you, Katie and Josh one hundred.
- 0:04Speaker 2: All right, So yet another reason that my wife is
- 0:07Speaker 2: going to be going to heaven and I'm going to
- 0:09Speaker 2: have a harder time.
- 0:10Speaker 3: Well, you're gonna have to write somebody up there.
- 0:13Speaker 2: I'm gonna, yeah, may have to submit a resume, really
- 0:16Speaker 2: really polishing a resume.
- 0:18Speaker 4: We were leaving I don't want to say what store.
- 0:22Speaker 2: We were leaving a store the other day and we
- 0:24Speaker 2: were coming out in the cart, you know, we're pushing
- 0:26Speaker 2: the cart out, and we realized that the case of water.
- 0:28Speaker 4: Underneath had not been wrung up. It was like a
- 0:31Speaker 4: three dollar case of water.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 0:33Speaker 4: And She's like, oh, they forgot our water.
- 0:35Speaker 2: I was like, well, too bad for them. Yeah, right,
- 0:38Speaker 2: like we just got some free water, Snoozy Liz, And uh,
- 0:42Speaker 2: you know, I was in the mindset of, oh, we'll
- 0:44Speaker 2: spend more money next time.
- 0:45Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, it's no big deal. No, we got
- 0:47Speaker 4: to the car, unloaded everything.
- 0:48Speaker 2: She goes, A'll be right back, and she went back
- 0:50Speaker 2: into the store and paid for the water.
- 0:51Speaker 3: He did.
- 0:52Speaker 4: And I don't know if I would have done that
- 0:55Speaker 4: or not.
- 0:56Speaker 2: If I probably would have just been a couple more
- 0:58Speaker 2: bucks that I didn't need to the next time I'm
- 1:01Speaker 2: in there.
- 1:01Speaker 1: No, for sure.
- 1:02Speaker 5: I think once you're out of the store, it kind
- 1:05Speaker 5: of relieves you of any you.
- 1:07Speaker 4: Know, at least it's on them, you think.
- 1:10Speaker 5: I think once you leave the store, it's like it's
- 1:12Speaker 5: going to take too much of my energy to go
- 1:14Speaker 5: back in there and pay for it for three dollars
- 1:17Speaker 5: like on my way out, or if like they don't
- 1:19Speaker 5: scan it and I'm like pain and I'm like, wait
- 1:21Speaker 5: a second, you didn't scan this, I will call attention
- 1:24Speaker 5: to it.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Right, Yeah, if I if I remember that the case
- 1:27Speaker 2: is under there, I wasn't even thinking about it. The
- 1:30Speaker 2: kids were jacking around, you know, I was trying to
- 1:32Speaker 2: control them. Nobody remembered that the case of water was
- 1:35Speaker 2: there until we were like halfway to the car, like,
- 1:37Speaker 2: ah crap. Yeah. But I was also in the mindset, well,
- 1:40Speaker 2: that cashier needs to walk around, just do it once
- 1:42Speaker 2: over on the cart and go back to the cashier machine.
- 1:46Speaker 4: That's on them to look.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Let me leave.
- 1:48Speaker 4: But sweet nik Neck is not that human at all.
- 1:51Speaker 3: She's better than all of us.
- 1:53Speaker 2: She's a saint.
- 1:55Speaker 3: We can all agree that.
- 1:56Speaker 4: One of the nice things about my wife, she is
- 1:58Speaker 4: a saint.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Like, if we had gotten home, she probably also would
- 2:02Speaker 2: have called the store and said, hey, how can I
- 2:04Speaker 2: how can I get.
- 2:05Speaker 4: This money too?
- 2:06Speaker 1: You You're like, ma'am, it is three dollars.
- 2:08Speaker 6: I know.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Like I can imagine the person on the other line going,
- 2:10Speaker 2: what some teenager?
- 2:12Speaker 1: I'm sorry, what exactly? Real quick?
- 2:15Speaker 2: There is a story out this morning talking about roughly
- 2:18Speaker 2: thirty three percent of people that go out and do
- 2:22Speaker 2: some shop and admit that they have remained silent when
- 2:24Speaker 2: a cashier failed to ring something up during checkout. Now
- 2:27Speaker 2: that is just like she's boo boo, Yeah, this is
- 2:29Speaker 2: something I don't think I would do that.
- 2:32Speaker 4: I'd be like, hey, you forgot one thing.
- 2:33Speaker 5: It's all about the intent. Like I'm not gonna like
- 2:36Speaker 5: that's bad karma.
- 2:37Speaker 4: I think that's really bad karma.
- 2:39Speaker 5: If we're out to the car and I notice it
- 2:42Speaker 5: at that point, I'm like, well, I love that time.
- 2:46Speaker 2: I'm glad we're the same like that not my monkeys,
- 2:50Speaker 2: And damn I'm thirsty right now. I'm a crack open
- 2:53Speaker 2: a warm one. Katie said something funny off the air
- 2:56Speaker 2: a little bit ago, and it really piqued my interest.
- 3:00Speaker 2: It kind of has to do with relaxing a little bit, right.
- 3:03Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm a sucker for a good bench. You know.
- 3:07Speaker 4: I like bench Please.
- 3:10Speaker 5: Seriously, if I see one while i'm out about, I
- 3:13Speaker 5: will sit on it and probably take a picture.
- 3:19Speaker 2: But when you see a good bench, you're like, damn,
- 3:22Speaker 2: that is good bench placement right there.
- 3:25Speaker 1: And then I want to know more about the bench.
- 3:27Speaker 1: Why is it here?
- 3:28Speaker 4: How did it get there?
- 3:29Speaker 5: It's probably got a plaque on it.
- 3:32Speaker 2: So my thing with the bench is my wife and
- 3:36Speaker 2: I like to go on our little walks and runs
- 3:38Speaker 2: and stuff, and we'll come across various benches, as you
- 3:41Speaker 2: probably do as.
- 3:42Speaker 4: You're exploring nature.
- 3:44Speaker 2: And I have told my wife that I would like
- 3:47Speaker 2: a memorial bench.
- 3:49Speaker 4: But I want that now.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Well you can enjoy it.
- 3:53Speaker 4: Can I somehow get a memorial bench?
- 3:56Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 3:56Speaker 4: And I want to. I want it.
- 3:58Speaker 2: I want it to be nice, and I wanted to
- 4:00Speaker 2: put in memory of Jeremy on it.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Well, wouldn't you say, in celebration of Jeremy? Then celebration still?
- 4:08Speaker 2: Memory?
- 4:09Speaker 4: Are you still you can do on your birthdate to present?
- 4:12Speaker 4: Now I don't even want that on there.
- 4:13Speaker 2: I just want to memory of Jeremy because if I
- 4:16Speaker 2: have a memorial bench.
- 4:18Speaker 4: I want to enjoy it now.
- 4:19Speaker 2: Yeah, So if anyone is a bench expert three oh
- 4:22Speaker 2: three six nine one, sixteen forty nine, how do we
- 4:25Speaker 2: get memorial benches when we're alive? Yeah, because it does
- 4:29Speaker 2: mean no good when I'm dead, I know exactly.
- 4:31Speaker 1: You can't sit on it. Well you could, but it'd
- 4:33Speaker 1: be freaky, thank you.
- 4:34Speaker 4: No, I want to sit on it like, oh well
- 4:36Speaker 4: I'm dead, I just prop my corpse up there.
- 4:41Speaker 2: This shell, hi hill, I want a memorial bench while
- 4:48Speaker 2: I'm alive. Is this something that we are? You a
- 4:51Speaker 2: bench expert? What do you know about benches?
- 4:53Speaker 6: Absolutely? We can do all types of benches for you.
- 4:56Speaker 6: We can do heart benches, we can do park benches,
- 4:59Speaker 6: We could do benches at the backs on them. You
- 5:01Speaker 6: can custom make them. We we actually do stone countertops,
- 5:05Speaker 6: so we use like the remnants to create custom benches
- 5:09Speaker 6: for you guys.
- 5:11Speaker 5: Please, Yeah, I had no idea.
- 5:19Speaker 4: Can we get Katie a big booty.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Bench with the curves in it?
- 5:25Speaker 4: I would love a big bench.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Bench like you can tell somebody.
- 5:30Speaker 2: Can you take can you take your stone and make
- 5:32Speaker 2: it look like somebody sat in it?
- 5:34Speaker 6: Then we could actually do that too. That would be
- 5:37Speaker 6: great yes, yes.
- 5:39Speaker 4: Hold on who you keep saying we who are you?
- 5:42Speaker 1: Oh?
- 5:42Speaker 6: So where Jerry creekstone Works And I have a team
- 5:45Speaker 6: of experts here. They're they're more of the experts than
- 5:47Speaker 6: I am.
- 5:48Speaker 2: Butts.
- 5:50Speaker 6: Yeah, so we create them. You can come in and
- 5:52Speaker 6: design them. It takes about two weeks to create and
- 5:57Speaker 6: fabricate a custom bench for.
- 5:59Speaker 4: You get a memorial bench.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Okay, I gotta ask you, do you know about bench placement?
- 6:08Speaker 2: Then can we have a bench made and then just
- 6:11Speaker 2: go set it up where we want.
- 6:12Speaker 1: To set up?
- 6:13Speaker 6: Well, it depends because I actually reached out to the
- 6:16Speaker 6: county to actually donate a bench for along the path
- 6:21Speaker 6: you know, where you guys go walking and running, and
- 6:24Speaker 6: I thought, you know, sometimes you need to rest and
- 6:25Speaker 6: take a break. So I'm willing to donate a bench.
- 6:28Speaker 6: Just put that out there.
- 6:30Speaker 1: No you're not.
- 6:35Speaker 6: Yeah, So I would love to get them out of
- 6:37Speaker 6: the life I.
- 6:40Speaker 3: Die.
- 6:43Speaker 6: So there are some restrictions though, so like if it's
- 6:46Speaker 6: for like a cemetery or cemetery, yeah, they have their restrictions.
- 6:52Speaker 6: So but in other places like your backyard, in your.
- 6:55Speaker 4: Garden, I don't want it in my backyard.
- 6:57Speaker 2: I want it somewhere where people can see it chatfield like,
- 7:00Speaker 2: and I just want to set up the bench somewhere,
- 7:02Speaker 2: So we'll have to look into that a little further.
- 7:04Speaker 6: Yeah, regulating the pond where you can put the benches. Yeah,
- 7:08Speaker 6: but we're more than willing to donate one if you
- 7:11Speaker 6: can find a good place to donate it or set
- 7:13Speaker 6: it up out. Yeah, we'll do that for our community.
- 7:17Speaker 5: Yeah, it would be for the community, exactly, doing good
- 7:20Speaker 5: for the community.
- 7:21Speaker 4: Yeah, in honor of our future dead bodies.
- 7:25Speaker 6: And I love giving back, so yeah, keep me posted
- 7:27Speaker 6: because I'll definitely do that. Yeah. But there if you
- 7:31Speaker 6: I think there'd be one you should put in your
- 7:33Speaker 6: garden or your backyard, your front of your yard, you
- 7:36Speaker 6: love it.
- 7:36Speaker 2: No, I want this in a public setting with a
- 7:39Speaker 2: view of like a lake or a mountain or a
- 7:42Speaker 2: bird house or something.
- 7:43Speaker 6: Okay, yeah, well we work together to set that.
- 7:47Speaker 4: Up for like an in and out or.
- 7:50Speaker 6: I'm not too sure if I like the in and
- 7:52Speaker 6: out idea, but we'll.
- 7:53Speaker 4: Just go set it up outside the front of an
- 7:55Speaker 4: in and out memorial.
- 7:57Speaker 6: I bet it would get a lot of use there.
- 8:00Speaker 4: Shelle, you are an absolute sweetheart.
- 8:02Speaker 2: We really appreciate you listening to us in the morning
- 8:05Speaker 2: and all of our nonsense and hyjinks.
- 8:07Speaker 4: You're the best.
- 8:07Speaker 6: I love you guys. You guys are so full of
- 8:09Speaker 6: excitement and it's fun to listen to you. So thank you.
- 8:13Speaker 4: You're the best.
- 8:14Speaker 2: We will hold on to your information and thank you
- 8:16Speaker 2: again for being our bench.
- 8:18Speaker 4: Please expert today.
- 8:21Speaker 6: Well, keep me posted. I'd love to set that up somewhere.
- 8:23Speaker 2: Absolutely, Yes, ma'am, you have a great day. Thanks for calling. Well,
- 8:26Speaker 2: that's awfully nice of her.
- 8:27Speaker 1: I did not expect that out all me either.
- 8:30Speaker 4: Now we got to find a location. That's the big deal.
- 8:34Speaker 4: Thank you, Shell, and I love that we were playing
- 8:36Speaker 4: Locked out of Heaven.
- 8:37Speaker 2: Next, you had a really interesting story about slang words
- 8:43Speaker 2: and stuff.
- 8:43Speaker 5: Well, and just like our slang, because each generation has slang, right,
- 8:47Speaker 5: I mean, from the boomers to the millennial.
- 8:49Speaker 4: Well you're bringing homie back, which I like exactly.
- 8:52Speaker 5: And here's the thing is, like back in the millennial
- 8:56Speaker 5: boomer days, it was a little bit more isolated, right,
- 8:59Speaker 5: Like school might have had its regional slang. So somebody
- 9:03Speaker 5: you know in North Dakota wasn't saying the same thing
- 9:06Speaker 5: as someone in Colorado because we didn't have the internet.
- 9:09Speaker 5: Different travel like that, right, So we had things that
- 9:12Speaker 5: were slang.
- 9:14Speaker 3: It took a while for things to catch on, and
- 9:17Speaker 3: you know, things.
- 9:18Speaker 5: Stuck if they really made a point, like if they
- 9:21Speaker 5: were in movies and movies you remember, like Polly Shore
- 9:24Speaker 5: had so many you know, one liners exactly, and any
- 9:28Speaker 5: of those movies like that's where we got a lot
- 9:30Speaker 5: of our slang was from things like that. Well, the
- 9:33Speaker 5: new generations jen ELFA, gen Z. They have the Internet.
- 9:37Speaker 5: So now somebody in New Mexico could be speaking the
- 9:40Speaker 5: same slang as somebody in Ireland because they all watched
- 9:42Speaker 5: the same influencers and they called gen elfha. So that's
- 9:48Speaker 5: the even younger generation than the Z. There true digital natives,
- 9:52Speaker 5: and that changes everything. So they say the slang can
- 9:55Speaker 5: grow faster and they can die even faster.
- 9:59Speaker 1: And we think of things like six.
- 10:01Speaker 4: Seven Cuba, right, like.
- 10:02Speaker 3: Like even six seven.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Gibby, six seven gibbody. I still say just because I
- 10:07Speaker 2: think it's ridiculous, but it's.
- 10:08Speaker 5: Ironic, and that's why that's what it's came to. Now,
- 10:11Speaker 5: that's what it's come to because it.
- 10:12Speaker 3: Blew up instantly, but within a few weeks it was friz.
- 10:16Speaker 3: It was ironic.
- 10:17Speaker 2: I was in an ace hardware before one of our
- 10:19Speaker 2: pizza drops. Because I was early yeah, and this guy
- 10:22Speaker 2: this he had to have been sixteen.
- 10:25Speaker 4: Oh you know, I was buying pellets for my trigger.
- 10:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:29Speaker 4: He's like, well you're here.
- 10:30Speaker 2: Can I interest you in these punch cards for such
- 10:33Speaker 2: and such school or whatever.
- 10:35Speaker 4: He's like, well, what are there? He goes, I don't
- 10:37Speaker 4: even know.
- 10:38Speaker 2: He's like, I think you can punch him like six
- 10:41Speaker 2: or seven times and you get something for free that
- 10:43Speaker 2: was your And then I go, I go six seven,
- 10:46Speaker 2: six seven, and I did the thing to him and
- 10:47Speaker 2: he just got They kind of looked at me.
- 10:51Speaker 4: I guess we're not doing that anymore, and he goes.
- 10:53Speaker 3: No, cird, But you know, I think something, you just
- 10:57Speaker 3: made a really good point.
- 10:58Speaker 5: Once adults catch oh done, that's it.
- 11:01Speaker 3: Oh yeah, no more.
- 11:03Speaker 4: And I love it when that happens. I just make
- 11:05Speaker 4: it weird.
- 11:07Speaker 1: That's what we.
- 11:07Speaker 5: Do, and that kills it faster than anything you can
- 11:11Speaker 5: kill it is. Adults think it's fun and you know,
- 11:14Speaker 5: needles like a fart in church.
- 11:16Speaker 1: Yeah that will be done. But yeah they say that.
- 11:21Speaker 5: So in short, the jen Elphis slang is fast, global
- 11:24Speaker 5: and meme driven.
- 11:26Speaker 3: That's the big thing.
- 11:27Speaker 5: It's all memes, and the minute an adult knows what
- 11:30Speaker 5: they're talking about, it.
- 11:31Speaker 4: Out and usually the adults saying, I saw that Mimi
- 11:34Speaker 4: the other day. Do you guys see that me, me,
