  football games are being played, especially as like a reprieve

  from this offseason full of it just seemed like never any

  headlines from the the NCAA or now pro players that once left

  college trying to get back to college to has it seems like

  there was a story every week this past Austin.

  But now we can focus on the football aspect of this one.

  And we're there are two coaches in particular who ironically go

  at it tomorrow night down in Baton Rouge that both have a lot
• 1:24
  to prove in their own right, but in different ways.

  So close. And that was you led by Double

  Swing and we're in Kiffle respectively.

  Both are gonna probably be defined for now and as far as

  their season, and I know it's just one game, but that one game

  tomorrow could set emotion how the seasons can ultimately end

  up being. Clemson, let's start there.

  You know, it's been really over a decade since that program has

  been at the top of the class as far as winning national
• 2:17
  championships. And of course that was really

  has deserved a lot of credit. I mean, winning two national

  championships for appearances have certainly given him stats

  as one of the best college coaches at that point.

  The last few years, however, not so.

  Over the last three years, Clemson has lost 14 games in

  three years. Now, mind you, whatever you

  think about Sweeney, it's your prerogative, but the bottom line

  is this is a guy who still believes not necessarily in the

  modernization of college football, but it's more or less

  as reluctance to kind of get with the program.

  See that all this of the old school mindset of you recruit

  players, you try to relate to them and you build within the

  program that you don't necessarily especially nowadays

  go outside to get better players from the transfer portal or

  spend a little in IL money to do the job.

  And while I can respect to an extent that kind of thought

  process is that same belief that's ultimately proven why the

  last couple years have fallen short of expectation.

  Another thing we also have to keep in mind are two people that

  in more ways than one made Apple sweet and more than I think

  people will. The first name is actually

  someone I was actually back with the program and Chad Morris

  offensive mastermind and the second is actually a guy down in

  Norman, OK and Brent Bengals who actually made Clemson won the

  fear defenses in college football at that point before

  obviously taking the head coaching job down in Oklahoma

  and turning that program into kind of how like they were back

  in the old days with Barry Schwitzer with her fears get out

  of the defense. Well, like I said, even though

  Morris is back with the university, you can make a
• 5:16
  legitimate argument that those two made dabbles.

  We looked a hell of a lot better than I think most people are

  well in the window. But look, it's no secret that

  had mentioned the 14 losses in the three years for a specific

  in a conference, the ACC. But as far as the season goes,

  the only two teams you have to really contend with are Miami

  Look, all I wanna say is for as much as Stable has done for that

  university, if he doesn't have a bounce back season, I am here to

  say I think Clemson might need to consider making a coaching

  change cars. Look, I don't believe seven or

  eight wins are gonna carve down. I'm just saying right now seven

  or eight wins is not gonna be good enough to keep it strong.

  So we'll see if the old school methodology still works or this

  the end of the road for the you could head coach of clubs.

  Now LSU and Lane Kiffin, that's a whole new story.

  The program hasn't really been relevant since winning the 2019

  into the College Football Playoff.

  Now, mind you, I thought he was going to coach the final handful

  of games, say goodbye to his players the right way and then

  take the job. But here's where things got

  the statements recently of how he believes about now NFL

  players who had recently left college trying to come back.

  It's the fact that this is going to be a defining year for

  have to check the schedule, be sure, but LSU is going to

  Oxford, Ms. on the 19th. Boy, I cannot wait for at least

  the build up to Thursday. More so throughout the week, but
