- 0:59Speaker 4: Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop from New York City.
- 1:02Speaker 4: I am with return guest Juicy Scooper, author, classy lady,
- 1:09Speaker 4: sexy lady, Carol Radziwill is here.
- 1:12Speaker 2: Hi. I think this.
- 1:15Speaker 4: Is the fourth time maybe you've done it because we
- 1:16Speaker 4: did it one time. here in New York and another
- 1:19Speaker 4: time you were in L.A. We did twice in L.A.
- 1:22Speaker 2: Yeah, and I brought the Barbie. Yeah, you brought the Barbie.
- 1:25Speaker 4: Yes. And you were, like, really looking at it because I, like,
- 1:27Speaker 4: made her eyebrows, like, better and stuff.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, how did my eyebrows stay? You look amazing.
- 1:33Speaker 2: This is your color. Oh, it is? Because of your
- 1:35Speaker 2: green eyes. Do you wear a lot of green? No, no.
- 1:39Speaker 2: My eyes have recently turned green, like, the last five years.
- 1:42Speaker 2: I swear to you. I promise you. They have. My
- 1:46Speaker 2: eyes were hazel, I'll show you on my driver's license,
- 1:49Speaker 2: hazel brown. And just in the last five years, they
- 1:53Speaker 2: just started getting lighter and lighter. So now they're green.
- 1:56Speaker 2: And I'm thinking, maybe I have a liver disease. I
- 1:59Speaker 2: don't know.
- 1:59Speaker 4: Do you know that my, I feel like my eyes
- 2:02Speaker 4: have gotten a little more lighter green.
- 2:04Speaker 2: Because we're always just like, shit brown.
- 2:07Speaker 4: And I'm like, oh, maybe it's the eye makeup I'm
- 2:09Speaker 4: using is like bringing it out or something.
- 2:11Speaker 2: Do you think it has something to do with like, drinking? No,
- 2:14Speaker 2: I don't think so. I was going to say menopause. Maybe.
- 2:19Speaker 2: I don't know. I feel like as I went through menopause,
- 2:21Speaker 2: my eyes got lighter and lighter. They're like bright green now. Well,
- 2:24Speaker 2: they look good. Who cares? No one talks about the
- 2:28Speaker 2: positives of menopause. No, I know. Just straight up not
- 2:31Speaker 2: having your period anymore is the greatest thing. Is the
- 2:33Speaker 2: greatest thing. Is the greatest thing. you know, my son
- 2:37Speaker 2: is 22. Drake is here. So get ready.
- 2:40Speaker 4: No one has Drake's life perspective because the amount of
- 2:43Speaker 4: times that like, I would be in like a compromising position,
- 2:47Speaker 4: like running around with the kids and not be prepared
- 2:50Speaker 4: for my period or for it to be whatever.
- 2:53Speaker 2: And you remember when we were at Atlantis, that was bad. No,
- 2:57Speaker 2: there's so many good things. I think I'm not going
- 3:03Speaker 2: to preach about HRT, hormone replacement therapy, because everyone has
- 3:06Speaker 2: an opinion on it, but if you really do your research,
- 3:09Speaker 2: women who don't get on that kind of early on
- 3:14Speaker 2: really suffer. Oh, okay. Really suffer. I actually did not.
- 3:19Speaker 2: I feel like I had it pretty great. No, but
- 3:21Speaker 2: you need hormones. Estrogen is a lubricant for your brain,
- 3:25Speaker 2: for your bones, for your heart. All right. You don't
- 3:28Speaker 2: want to get osteoporosis. You don't want to have cardiac events.
- 3:31Speaker 2: It's like, It's not just meant to go away. What
- 3:33Speaker 2: is it? Is it a shot? No, it's just a cream,
- 3:36Speaker 2: a topical cream. All over your body? No. Oh. No,
- 3:39Speaker 2: just a dab like on your abdomen. Oh, okay. I don't,
- 3:44Speaker 2: the amount of medical literature on menopause is this much. Yeah.
- 3:49Speaker 2: This much. And billions and billions of women go through it.
- 3:52Speaker 2: I don't, I still, I don't understand. I feel like
- 3:55Speaker 2: I never had a baby and I feel like I
- 3:57Speaker 2: know more about childbirth than I do about menopause. Right.
- 4:01Speaker 2: sort of our sexual health stops at 42 or 45, right?
- 4:06Speaker 2: You know?
- 4:07Speaker 4: I guess when you get deemed unfuckable, do you remember
- 4:09Speaker 4: that Amy Schumer sketch? No. Oh my God, she had
- 4:12Speaker 4: a sketch show and it was like Julia Louis-Dreyfus and
- 4:17Speaker 4: like Tina Fey and she comes across these women having
- 4:20Speaker 4: like lunch and she's like, what do.
- 4:23Speaker 2: You guys do? Oh my God, this is amazing.
- 4:25Speaker 4: Like you're all my favorite like female comedians. What are
- 4:27Speaker 4: you doing here? And They're like, oh, we're celebrating Julia
- 4:32Speaker 4: Louis-Dreyfus's last, it's her last day to be considered fuckable.
- 4:36Speaker 4: And we're going to like, and they like send her
- 4:39Speaker 4: in like a canoe.
- 4:40Speaker 2: And they send her off. And it was like, oh,
- 4:43Speaker 2: this is the last day. I feel like it was
- 4:46Speaker 2: so funny. We're talking about that. Okay, so. I can't
- 4:48Speaker 2: talk about sex in front of your son. No, it's fine.
- 4:51Speaker 2: I feel like it gets better. It's fine. He just
- 4:53Speaker 2: has to put up with it. Sorry, Julia. part of life.
- 4:57Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying. No one has this life perspective.
- 4:59Speaker 4: There's not another 22-year-old man who has a female stand-up
- 5:03Speaker 4: comedy mother that talks about sex with his dad on
- 5:07Speaker 4: stage while.
- 5:08Speaker 2: He films it. I'm like, can you cut the clip?
- 5:14Speaker 2: That's so good.
- 5:19Speaker 4: But I wanted to, speaking of which, you know, when
- 5:22Speaker 4: we saw you in Real Housewives of Roney, you are
- 5:25Speaker 4: a widow. Yes.
- 5:26Speaker 2: And you wrote a book.
- 5:30Speaker 4: The Widow's Guide to Sex and Dating.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Yes. And we have so many questions for you.
- 5:35Speaker 4: But since we were talking about the dating, so we
- 5:40Speaker 4: saw you have like, a younger.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Boyfriend, the chef. Yeah, the chef. The chef. And you're still,
- 5:48Speaker 2: are you friends? Yeah. Where is that situation? I mean, Adam,
- 5:51Speaker 2: I've known him 10 years now. Yeah. I feel like he's,
- 5:54Speaker 2: he's like family. You know how they kind of, old
- 5:56Speaker 2: boyfriends morph into like, No, because I don't have any
- 5:59Speaker 2: old boyfriends.
- 6:02Speaker 4: My husband is my family. I think we've morphed into
- 6:04Speaker 4: brother and sister.
- 6:06Speaker 2: Well, yeah, it's the same. It's the same. After 10 years,
- 6:09Speaker 2: it's like you're a brother and sister. He's like the
- 6:11Speaker 2: annoying little brother. Although, in a lot of ways, he's
- 6:16Speaker 2: more mature than me.
- 6:17Speaker 4: So you were saying that you just saw a preview
- 6:23Speaker 4: of of Bridget Jones's diary.
- 6:26Speaker 2: About a boy, it's called. It's the fourth installment of
- 6:29Speaker 2: the Bridget Jones diary saga. And it's Renee again, Renee Zellweger.
- 6:34Speaker 2: She's kind of awesome. I mean, she's just really. Yeah,
- 6:37Speaker 2: I love her. She's great. And she's now a widow.
- 6:45Speaker 2: Because in the last installment, Mark Darcy dies in a
- 6:48Speaker 2: terrorist bombing in Sudan, I think, or some terrible dark
- 6:53Speaker 2: ending to him. And she's Bridget Jones, so she's still like,
- 6:57Speaker 2: she can't quite get it together. And Hugh Grant is
- 7:02Speaker 2: in it. And the narrative in this is she has
- 7:06Speaker 2: a younger boyfriend, played by this really... guy called Leo Woodall.
- 7:13Speaker 2: I mean, he's very talented. He's very good, because I've
- 7:16Speaker 2: seen him in other movies. So how much younger? He's
- 7:18Speaker 2: in the movie. Is there characters? Well, it's not like
- 7:21Speaker 2: The Graduate where Dustin Hoffman was 28 and Anne Bancroft
- 7:25Speaker 2: was like 32. Oh, when they were playing 20. No,
- 7:27Speaker 2: but I'm saying their characters. Their characters. He was, I think, 20.
- 7:30Speaker 2: I think he said he was 28. Okay. And she's
- 7:34Speaker 2: like 50. Well, yeah, but then he said, well, how old?
- 7:37Speaker 2: And she was like, oh. And then he was like, well,
- 7:39Speaker 2: what are you, 35? And she goes, yeah, I'll go
- 7:41Speaker 2: with that. You know, but she's 50. She's 50. Yeah. And...
- 7:47Speaker 2: I don't know. I was asked about it afterward because
- 7:50Speaker 2: I've had several relationships, kind of long relationships with younger men,
- 7:57Speaker 2: sort of in their 30s. And I think there's an
- 8:03Speaker 2: acceptance of it now that just didn't exist even 10
- 8:06Speaker 2: years ago. Totally. I feel like people are more accepting
- 8:10Speaker 2: of women in their 50s dating men in their 30s
- 8:12Speaker 2: than men. than men in their 50s dating women in
- 8:16Speaker 2: their 30s or 20s. I feel like there's a little
- 8:18Speaker 2: bit of an ick factor about that. Well, like the Bill,
- 8:22Speaker 2: what's his name? Bill Belichick. Exactly.
- 8:26Speaker 4: So he's 72 and she's 23 or 24.
- 8:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:31Speaker 4: And I saw this one guy ask Tom Brady, like, well,
- 8:36Speaker 4: would you ever help your former coach's new girlfriend rent
- 8:42Speaker 4: a car?
- 8:43Speaker 2: Because she can't get it because you're only 25 I
- 8:46Speaker 2: mean I'll be honest that is so and.
- 8:49Speaker 4: He just it like registered for like took like a
- 8:51Speaker 4: second just like it took like me and you a
- 8:53Speaker 4: second and he's like oh my.
- 8:55Speaker 2: God that is so funny no they're like yeah.
- 8:57Speaker 4: I mean you've seen you've seen a lot now yeah
- 9:00Speaker 4: it's like 20 years is one thing whatever, 50 years
- 9:04Speaker 4: is another.
- 9:04Speaker 2: At that point, though, who cares? Like, what do you
- 9:07Speaker 2: really think? I mean, I'm just going to say that
- 9:10Speaker 2: I think there's a growing ick factor with much older
- 9:14Speaker 2: men dating much younger women because there's a power differential
- 9:18Speaker 2: there anyway. Even if you're a man and a woman
- 9:20Speaker 2: similar in age, the men is perceived to have more power,
- 9:23Speaker 2: even if they're both 35, right? So at 55 and 25...
- 9:29Speaker 2: You know, there's just a nick factor that doesn't, I think,
- 9:32Speaker 2: now exist as much with older women dating younger men.
- 9:37Speaker 2: Am I right?
- 9:38Speaker 4: But I have several friends that are in their 50s
- 9:43Speaker 4: that are dating, you know, and they're attractive and they're
- 9:47Speaker 4: put together and everything.
- 9:48Speaker 2: But, I mean.
- 9:50Speaker 4: not lying about their age on the app or anything,
- 9:52Speaker 4: and they're getting plenty of dates.
- 9:54Speaker 2: And from guys their age, and from a little bit younger,
- 9:57Speaker 2: but like, no. No, the younger ones are more. aggressive.
- 10:01Speaker 2: The younger ones are more aggressive.
- 10:02Speaker 4: Yeah, well, because I, and then I think there's, yeah,
- 10:05Speaker 4: where sometimes it's kind of the perfect thing where a
- 10:07Speaker 4: guy is like, I'm not, if I'm married, if I'm, whatever,
- 10:10Speaker 4: if I'm 38 and I'm dating a girl who's 37,
- 10:12Speaker 4: there's going to be that pressure.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what it is. Like, where is this going?
- 10:16Speaker 2: Are we getting married? Are we having kids? And if
- 10:19Speaker 2: the 38-year-old guy is dating a.
- 10:21Speaker 4: Woman who's 48 or 50, he knows babies aren't a
- 10:25Speaker 4: part of it.
- 10:26Speaker 2: That's why there's this... And you can have a really
- 10:28Speaker 2: great authentic relationship and you both show up and there's
- 10:31Speaker 2: no game playing. It's like, it's very clear. It's very clear. Yeah. Like,
- 10:35Speaker 2: in all my relationships, it's very clear what I... wanted
- 10:38Speaker 2: and what he wanted. And I'll tell you, I mean,
- 10:44Speaker 2: with Adam, we were together almost five years. These aren't
- 10:48Speaker 2: like flings. My last boyfriend was a year and a half.
- 10:54Speaker 2: So these are like relationships like any relationship you would
- 10:58Speaker 2: have at any age. But it's just more on it.
- 11:03Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 11:04Speaker 4: Well, you're saying how in the Bridget Jones diary, like,
- 11:07Speaker 4: you know, Of course, you know, it makes sense when
- 11:10Speaker 4: you're writing a fictional story for at a certain point
- 11:14Speaker 4: the heroine to be single again and it's easier if
- 11:18Speaker 4: he dies. And so before Sex and the City came back.
- 11:23Speaker 4: I became friendly with Chris Noth. And I was so
- 11:26Speaker 4: obsessed with Sex and the City, like, you know, obsessed.
- 11:29Speaker 4: And I was always, you know, with my writer friends
- 11:32Speaker 4: trying to come up what, you know, either Sex and
- 11:34Speaker 4: the City 3, the movie would be, or if the
- 11:36Speaker 4: series ever come back, what it would be.
- 11:38Speaker 2: So I was at his.
- 11:39Speaker 4: Like holiday party and I just go, Well, Big has
- 11:45Speaker 4: to die.
- 11:45Speaker 2: I go, Big has to die because Kara has to
- 11:47Speaker 2: get out there and date again. And he's like, and
- 11:49Speaker 2: then I realized, I can't believe I just said that.
- 11:51Speaker 2: He doesn't want his character to die. Right, because then
- 11:54Speaker 2: he's out of work. So then the show came back
- 11:55Speaker 2: and he did die. I guess it's easier to have
- 11:59Speaker 2: them die than to have divorce because there's a lot
- 12:02Speaker 2: of messiness with divorce. Although divorce, it could be funny
- 12:05Speaker 2: because you've got to run into him with the typical
- 12:07Speaker 2: young girlfriend. That's funny. But no, in Bridget, he died,
- 12:15Speaker 2: and she had this lovely relationship with Leo Woodall, who's
- 12:21Speaker 2: gorgeous and shirtless a lot, and you're just like, oh
- 12:24Speaker 2: my God. And then she ends up breaking up with him,
- 12:31Speaker 2: because that's always usually what happens. But then Hugh Grant
- 12:35Speaker 2: is in it, and Hugh Grant is... Like, I could
- 12:37Speaker 2: watch that guy read the telephone book. Like, he's so good.
- 12:41Speaker 2: And every time he shows up on screen, you're just like,
- 12:47Speaker 2: he's a scene stealer. Like, you're almost like you wanted
- 12:50Speaker 2: to be with Hugh and not Leo, right? Even though Leo's, like,
- 12:54Speaker 2: hot and whatever. Hugh Grant is just, he's so good
- 12:58Speaker 2: in it. I think there should be another one. I'm
- 13:00Speaker 2: going to put it out there. There should be another
- 13:02Speaker 2: one where... It's like Harry Met Sally. She ends up
- 13:07Speaker 2: with Hugh Grant because they're so funny together. They love
- 13:10Speaker 2: each other. They're like family. They just need to end
- 13:13Speaker 2: up together. Put it out there and make it happen.
- 13:17Speaker 4: I give all the ideas and I'm like, make it
- 13:19Speaker 4: happen because I would like to watch that.
- 13:22Speaker 2: Yeah, and it's very nostalgic because it's really like when
- 13:24Speaker 2: you go see this movie, it's like being back in
- 13:27Speaker 2: the 90s almost again. It's like everything about it, even
- 13:30Speaker 2: the way it's shot and stuff, it's like Calm. It's nice.
- 13:35Speaker 2: It's like old fashioned.
- 13:36Speaker 4: So speaking of what's not old fashioned, I saw Baby
- 13:39Speaker 4: Girl with Nicole Kidman.
- 13:41Speaker 2: Yeah. Now, when I first saw.
- 13:43Speaker 4: People doing little reviews and talking about it on TikTok,
- 13:46Speaker 4: they had seen it in the movie theater and they're like, oh,
- 13:48Speaker 4: my God, like people were laughing.
- 13:50Speaker 2: They're dying.
- 13:51Speaker 4: And it's Nicole Kidman is a CEO of a big
- 13:54Speaker 4: company that's like has like robots coming about. But it's
- 13:58Speaker 4: modern day, and she's in New York, and her husband
- 14:00Speaker 4: is Antonio Banderas, I think.
- 14:03Speaker 2: And he's also really good-looking.
- 14:05Speaker 4: They have two teenage daughters, and he is a director of, like,
- 14:10Speaker 4: plays in the city.
- 14:12Speaker 2: But he's not good at sex, right? I just watched
- 14:15Speaker 2: the beginning of it.
- 14:16Speaker 4: I'm going to tell you right now, I'm spoiling it
- 14:18Speaker 4: for you, because there's some things that really bother me.
- 14:20Speaker 4: So right off the bat, they're, like, Boning all the time,
- 14:24Speaker 4: which if you've been with someone for, you know, at
- 14:26Speaker 4: least 17 years because the girl's ages, that's pretty great.
- 14:29Speaker 2: Like you're still boning all the time. So they're boning
- 14:31Speaker 2: all the time.
- 14:32Speaker 4: And then the minute they finish boning, she like runs
- 14:35Speaker 4: to her bedroom and opens up a computer and like
- 14:38Speaker 4: masturbates to finish off to some like porn.
- 14:40Speaker 2: So you're like, okay, I guess she isn't happy. So anyway,
- 14:43Speaker 2: then the next day... Why didn't she do it with him, though?
- 14:45Speaker 2: That's what I didn't understand. Like, just do it with
- 14:48Speaker 2: his partner. Well, the whole thing is that I'm like,
- 14:49Speaker 2: so if you've had 17 years.
- 14:51Speaker 4: She then reveals, I've never had an orgasm with you
- 14:53Speaker 4: after she starts the affair with the intern.
- 14:55Speaker 2: Oh, I only watched the first 10 minutes. I'm saying
- 14:57Speaker 2: if you've had 17.
- 14:57Speaker 4: Years of not having an orgasm, but then being able
- 15:01Speaker 4: to have it on your own later, like... Bring it
- 15:03Speaker 4: into the bedroom. So at 57 or whatever she's supposed
- 15:06Speaker 4: to be playing, and she looks amazing, her body's amazing,
- 15:09Speaker 4: she decides this... 25 year old intern is the one
- 15:14Speaker 4: that she's going to cheat on. They don't make it
- 15:17Speaker 4: that she's ever cheated 17 years prior. So this is
- 15:20Speaker 4: the person that you're like this employee. So right off
- 15:24Speaker 4: the bat, he's like aggressive, like kind of aggressive with
- 15:27Speaker 4: her and stuff, like tries to kiss her in a meeting. And,
- 15:31Speaker 4: and so, but I thought I'm intrigued because I love
- 15:34Speaker 4: any movie that has New York in a background.
- 15:37Speaker 2: Like I literally like want there to.
- 15:39Speaker 4: Be for me to search up New York affairs and murders,
- 15:44Speaker 4: like psychological thrillers, sexy. Those are my favorite kind of movies. Unfaithful,
- 15:49Speaker 4: fatal attraction, a perfect murder. Like those all are just, and,
- 15:54Speaker 4: and wealth. People have to be wealthy in New York
- 15:56Speaker 4: for me to enjoy the movie.
- 15:57Speaker 2: So, so they, so all of a sudden I'm watching the.
- 16:02Speaker 4: Whole movie and it seems like it's, this affair is
- 16:04Speaker 4: going on for a year, but the Christmas trees are
- 16:06Speaker 4: still up.
- 16:07Speaker 2: So I'm like, Wait a minute. I'm watching it with Peter.
- 16:09Speaker 2: I'm like, wait a minute. This whole thing is.
- 16:11Speaker 4: Like within two weeks of like them finding time to
- 16:15Speaker 4: go to hotel rooms and work late during the holidays,
- 16:18Speaker 4: which is kind of a hard time to like work late.
- 16:20Speaker 4: You have all these Christmas parties.
- 16:22Speaker 2: And the family. Yeah. But they start boning and doing
- 16:25Speaker 2: all this stuff. And of course, you've seen the funny
- 16:27Speaker 2: parts where he....
- 16:29Speaker 4: She walks into, you know, everyone's getting drinks after and
- 16:33Speaker 4: the interns are over there and she's like with her
- 16:34Speaker 4: CEO people. And then someone brings over a big thing
- 16:37Speaker 4: of milk. And it's like a chic bar. And he's like,
- 16:40Speaker 4: did somebody order that? And she looks over and he's like,
- 16:45Speaker 4: and she goes, and then.
- 16:46Speaker 2: She guzzles like this. And it's not skim. It's not 2%.
- 16:50Speaker 2: It's not 1%. It's full, whole milk. She's having issues.
- 16:57Speaker 4: So she brings the whole thing, and then she's like...
- 17:00Speaker 4: And I guess the milk was supposed to be, like,
- 17:02Speaker 4: on her face. Like, come on your face, I guess.
- 17:05Speaker 4: Or just that he can get her to do what
- 17:07Speaker 4: he wants.
- 17:09Speaker 2: Like, because.
- 17:09Speaker 4: You know, you always hear, I guess, about men going to, like,
- 17:13Speaker 4: a dominatrix. Because they're this big CEO, they want this
- 17:15Speaker 4: woman to be like, hey, you piece of shit, get
- 17:17Speaker 4: on your knees.
- 17:17Speaker 2: And they, like, love it.
- 17:18Speaker 4: So I guess that was kind of the switcheroo of
- 17:22Speaker 4: the story.
- 17:23Speaker 2: But then.
- 17:24Speaker 4: What killed me the most is I'm watching it with
- 17:26Speaker 4: my husband, Peter.
- 17:27Speaker 2: You're going to like this part, right?
- 17:29Speaker 4: So they find out, you know, it gets revealed that she,
- 17:34Speaker 4: I don't want to tell every bit, but it gets revealed.
- 17:36Speaker 2: And he goes, get out, the husband, Andrew, get out.
- 17:40Speaker 4: But it's like, well, she gets out of her beautiful
- 17:42Speaker 4: penthouse and goes to like the two-story.
- 17:45Speaker 2: Connecticut or whatever house.
- 17:47Speaker 4: But it's like, you know, how dare you kick me
- 17:49Speaker 4: out to like a $ 5 million Connecticut house.
- 17:51Speaker 2: Or whatever it is, $ 50 million house. And so she's
- 17:53Speaker 2: there alone. And it's her money, by the way, right?
- 17:56Speaker 2: He's a theater director.
- 17:57Speaker 4: But she's in her house and she's, you know, feeling
- 18:00Speaker 4: sad because she doesn't know what's going on through her marriage.
- 18:02Speaker 4: And then she looks out the window and the intern
- 18:06Speaker 4: is swimming in the pool. And I'm like, okay, wait,
- 18:09Speaker 4: it's still Christmas time. We're on the East Coast.
- 18:12Speaker 2: It's freezing. It's freezing. Is it snow on the ground?
- 18:15Speaker 4: So I'm like, if Peter wasn't going to divorce me
- 18:17Speaker 4: and my husband for screwing a 25-year-old male intern, it
- 18:21Speaker 4: would be because I let that male intern turn on
- 18:23Speaker 4: the fucking heater of the pool.
- 18:26Speaker 2: It must have started at like 20 degrees. I mean,
- 18:28Speaker 2: it would have taken like.
- 18:29Speaker 4: 24 hours to get to, like, a solid, like, 90 degrees.
- 18:33Speaker 4: And then she jumps in, and, you know, so then
- 18:35Speaker 4: they have a fun swimming time.
- 18:37Speaker 2: Yeah. And then, you know... So he's, like, a fatal attraction?
- 18:40Speaker 2: He's the.
- 18:40Speaker 4: Oh, well, they have that scene, which I love, because, like,
- 18:44Speaker 4: when I was working on writing movies with the Waynes brothers, with, like,
- 18:47Speaker 4: white chicks, we watched all the movies... Um, like, you know,
- 18:51Speaker 4: Tootsie and something like it, hot, any movie where there's
- 18:55Speaker 4: men having to pretend to be women. And I remember
- 18:57Speaker 4: it was like a, it was like a film class.
- 18:59Speaker 4: Cause he was like, okay, now we need a scene
- 19:00Speaker 4: where they almost get caught. And I was like, oh,
- 19:03Speaker 4: there is like a formula to this. And so being
- 19:06Speaker 4: that this is a formula, I think to unfaithful, there
- 19:09Speaker 4: is a moment when, or fatal attraction where, um, she
- 19:13Speaker 4: comes into the house and she hears his voice and he,
- 19:16Speaker 4: the kids are laughing and everything.
- 19:18Speaker 2: And it reminds me of in fatal attraction. when he
- 19:20Speaker 2: comes home. And she's pretending to be the real estate. No,
- 19:23Speaker 2: she's pretending to be interested in buying the house.
- 19:26Speaker 4: And they're like, oh, let me give you my number.
- 19:28Speaker 4: And he's like, so he shows up because he's like,
- 19:30Speaker 4: you left your computer.
- 19:31Speaker 2: She's like, what are you doing here? What are you
- 19:36Speaker 2: doing out here? And then they have a party.
- 19:39Speaker 4: And she has this beautiful assistant, this young black girl
- 19:44Speaker 4: who's like her main right-hand lady. And she invites her
- 19:48Speaker 4: to the daughter's party. still Christmas time and it's like
- 19:53Speaker 4: her daughter's sweet 16 and she brings him the intern
- 19:56Speaker 4: so she's like goes to him and she's like.
- 19:59Speaker 2: She's like, I don't want you to be with her.
- 20:02Speaker 2: You're mine. You're mine. And then the girl walks in
- 20:04Speaker 2: and she's like, we need more cupcakes. What the fuck
- 20:07Speaker 2: is going on? So then, now this is where I
- 20:11Speaker 2: like to rewrite a movie. So I am like perked up.
- 20:14Speaker 2: I'm like, now this gets good. Was the sex hot
- 20:18Speaker 2: in it or was it like always?
- 20:19Speaker 4: The sex was good, but it was a lot of
- 20:22Speaker 4: her orgasms were like an animal.
- 20:25Speaker 2: We have a lot of coyotes where we live and.
- 20:27Speaker 4: Sometimes we wake up the whole night like, Coyotes are like,
- 20:30Speaker 4: it's so loud.
- 20:32Speaker 2: And I'm like.
- 20:32Speaker 4: Imagining just like a coyote orgy, like literally in my backyard.
- 20:36Speaker 2: So it was like, like it was just a lot
- 20:39Speaker 2: of that. I hate sex scenes in movies. So like,
- 20:43Speaker 2: and they're like, hand to the moon or the fireplace.
- 20:45Speaker 4: And also they're at like not a nice hotel room
- 20:47Speaker 4: and he has her like crawling on the knees.
- 20:48Speaker 2: And I'm like, you're telling me this.
- 20:50Speaker 4: This pristine, perfectly dressed CEO is willing to crawl on
- 20:55Speaker 4: the disgusting hotel carpet. I'm like, I would, but will she?
- 20:59Speaker 5: No.
- 21:00Speaker 2: So anyway, so then he.
- 21:03Speaker 4: So I'm like, oh my God, this is getting good
- 21:05Speaker 4: now because her assistant now knows there's something going on,
- 21:09Speaker 4: but the assistant's with him.
- 21:11Speaker 2: And of course she could like lose everything. So I'm like,
- 21:14Speaker 2: this is juicy. But what happens is.
- 21:19Speaker 4: You know, the girl, the assistant tells her, spoiler, tells her, like,
- 21:23Speaker 4: I know what's going on.
- 21:24Speaker 2: All I want you to do is support women, you know,
- 21:27Speaker 2: as Rona would say. You're going to support women, okay?
- 21:30Speaker 2: Can you make me give you a promotion? Okay, we're
- 21:32Speaker 2: working hard for you. I don't even like your Australian accent.
- 21:35Speaker 2: Did they take that from Rona?
- 21:37Speaker 4: Yes.
- 21:37Speaker 2: She goes, I just don't think you're, like, supporting women enough.
- 21:40Speaker 2: So I guess she gives her a promotion. And then
- 21:43Speaker 2: all of a sudden, he's gone.
- 21:45Speaker 4: And this other CEO comes in, and he's like, um.
- 21:50Speaker 4: Kind of hinting that he knows. And he's like, I
- 21:52Speaker 4: think you and I should talk about, you know, at
- 21:55Speaker 4: my house or something. Doesn't she have to go to
- 21:57Speaker 4: HR at some point?
- 21:58Speaker 2: No, nobody knows. Nobody knows.
- 21:59Speaker 4: But he hints, like, this other, like, executive male hints, like,
- 22:03Speaker 4: I know that you were fucking the intern. And he
- 22:05Speaker 4: kind of is basically threatening her or maybe he's like,
- 22:10Speaker 4: you better fuck me or I'm going to tell or something.
- 22:12Speaker 4: And she has a really good scene there where she's like, like,
- 22:16Speaker 4: stands up for herself and is like, fuck you, I
- 22:18Speaker 4: don't care what you say, like, I'm going to be fine.
- 22:20Speaker 4: And he goes off to Japan to, like, work for
- 22:22Speaker 4: Kawasaki or whatever. Now, I was like, the much better situation,
- 22:28Speaker 4: if I was rewriting this, which is the same thing happened,
- 22:30Speaker 4: did you watch the Debbie Moore substance? Yeah. Like, I
- 22:33Speaker 4: could have thought of the better, the last one-third of
- 22:36Speaker 4: the movie sucked, and I'm like, I want to rewrite
- 22:38Speaker 4: the ending.
- 22:39Speaker 2: But this one, the same thing.
- 22:40Speaker 4: I was like, it would have been so much juicier
- 22:42Speaker 4: if we found out that the intern and the assistant
- 22:47Speaker 4: planned this out. Like pre-planned it, knew it, got, she
- 22:51Speaker 4: helped get him the job.
- 22:52Speaker 2: He never even went to college. Cause he had like,
- 22:54Speaker 2: he looked kind of rough. Like to be like, gosh.
- 22:56Speaker 2: Like why would he target her?
- 22:58Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 22:58Speaker 4: Like why was he targeting her so hardcore? And it
- 23:01Speaker 4: was like, there could have been something so juicy there.
- 23:03Speaker 2: No.
- 23:04Speaker 4: So then the husband forgives her.
- 23:06Speaker 2: Oh no. And he finally, you know, fingers are right.
- 23:10Speaker 2: And she has an orgasm. And I'm like, that's it? Like,
- 23:17Speaker 2: she didn't lose anything.
- 23:19Speaker 4: Besides her heating bill for the month of December at
- 23:21Speaker 4: the Connecticut house.
- 23:22Speaker 2: She lost nothing. I'm okay with her not losing anything.
- 23:26Speaker 2: You don't have any men CEOs, interns, and don't lose anything.
- 23:30Speaker 2: So we're okay with her not losing anything. But the husband,
- 23:34Speaker 2: the daughters forgave her. Like, everything is just fine. The
- 23:38Speaker 2: big flaw also is, like you said, 17 years of marriage,
- 23:41Speaker 2: they're fucking all the time, and, like, she doesn't think to, like, like,
- 23:46Speaker 2: masturbate or bring that to her. Or have other affairs. Or, like,
- 23:49Speaker 2: into the.
- 23:50Speaker 4: Like, it would have made more sense if it was, like,
- 23:52Speaker 4: some reference to that she was a serial cheater. And
- 23:55Speaker 4: that's why she's so brazen going for this guy that's
- 23:58Speaker 4: hitting on her. But it's literally, like, she's led, like,
- 24:01Speaker 4: an exemplatory, like, sexy marriage.
- 24:03Speaker 2: Like, she's total prude in her marriage for 20 years
- 24:06Speaker 2: and then she's, like, crawling and licking, like, her shoes.
- 24:09Speaker 2: That doesn't make sense. That leap of faith is, like,
- 24:12Speaker 2: really bizarre.
- 24:13Speaker 4: But.
- 24:15Speaker 2: I actually kind of liked watching the movie. I think
- 24:18Speaker 2: older women with younger guys, are they doing? I mean,
- 24:21Speaker 2: I feel like it's the reverse. Of what? I feel
- 24:25Speaker 2: like they're not subservient to younger men. Well, that's what
- 24:28Speaker 2: I think. They're more confident. That's what I think. They're
- 24:30Speaker 2: just like sort of younger men seem more subservient. Subservient's
- 24:34Speaker 2: not a great word, but you know what I mean?
- 24:35Speaker 2: They're just more interested in pleasing.
- 24:37Speaker 4: It's like, you know how they always do, like, different
- 24:39Speaker 4: TV shows and things, and they're like, it's a remake,
- 24:41Speaker 4: but it's with a Latino family, or whatever.
- 24:44Speaker 2: That's what I feel like.
- 24:45Speaker 4: It's a remake, but instead of an old fart and
- 24:47Speaker 4: a young girl, it's going to be an old lady
- 24:49Speaker 4: and a young guy.
- 24:50Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah. And, like, we're just going to, that's going
- 24:52Speaker 2: to be the... Yeah, like, he's the... What do you
- 24:54Speaker 2: call it? The diversity thing is going to be that
- 24:56Speaker 2: it was that. The car is beautiful. Where did you
- 25:00Speaker 2: end up going for it?
- 25:01Speaker 6: This exclusive place that Dada's connections with. they have more
- 25:04Speaker 6: cars for more dealerships than like anywhere.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Else you have to put me in touch what's it called.
- 25:09Speaker 6: It's dune adl where dune adl there's an accent on
- 25:14Speaker 6: the e do you mean yes i got it on
- 25:18Speaker 6: done deal cars lift please you're going past oh kimmage
- 25:23Speaker 6: no done deal cars you couldn't possibly go anywhere else.
- 25:28Speaker 7: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 25:31Speaker 7: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 25:34Speaker 7: have faced tremendous setbacks and yet somehow have found a
- 25:39Speaker 7: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 25:41Speaker 6: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 25:44Speaker 2: I'm heading to the Emmys, and I have police complaints
- 25:47Speaker 2: filed against me. When your free will was about to
- 25:49Speaker 2: be taken from you, what would.
- 25:50Speaker 7: You do if it was given back? Where did that
- 25:53Speaker 7: need come from where you thought that you had to
- 25:56Speaker 7: succeed in order to feel loved?
- 25:58Speaker 2: He said, I have a work dad. I need a
- 25:59Speaker 2: home dad. What happens next? When I came in, he
- 26:02Speaker 2: started crying.
- 26:03Speaker 7: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 26:07Speaker 7: those hard moments that they go through. It's about what
- 26:10Speaker 7: happens next.
- 26:11Speaker 2: I decided to risk it all. I realized how valuable
- 26:13Speaker 2: every day was. You're worth the work.
- 26:15Speaker 1: Listen, Dara, I'm not going to pull punches.
- 26:17Speaker 2: You can use your voice even if it's shaped.
- 26:20Speaker 7: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 26:23Speaker 7: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 26:33Speaker 4: Okay, I also want to talk about more TV. But first,
- 26:39Speaker 4: tell me about the play that you're an investor in,
- 26:43Speaker 4: and there's.
- 26:43Speaker 2: A cool connection to The Star. So tell us about that.
- 26:48Speaker 2: I'm thinking about actually turning my memoir, What Remains, into
- 26:52Speaker 2: a play. Absolutely should. I know, I just thought it's
- 26:55Speaker 2: so chic and elegant, and there's a lot of television,
- 26:58Speaker 2: a lot of limited series, and they're just all sort
- 27:00Speaker 2: of like, Well, Ryan Murphy is doing one. Well, yes.
- 27:04Speaker 2: And he did The Swans.
- 27:07Speaker 4: And I also want people, I don't know how much
- 27:10Speaker 4: you'll be in it, but I'm sure your character has
- 27:12Speaker 4: to be in it. And I'm thinking, who should we
- 27:15Speaker 4: get to play you? Who should we get to play
- 27:18Speaker 4: you in the Ryan Murphy? You mean the American Love
- 27:21Speaker 4: Story one with John and Carolyn? Yes.
- 27:24Speaker 2: Of course you're going to be part of it.
- 27:25Speaker 4: If he's telling the real story.
- 27:29Speaker 2: No, I don't think I have to be because I
- 27:31Speaker 2: stayed out of the tabloid story. So if he's just
- 27:34Speaker 2: doing the tabloid version, I don't have to be in it.
- 27:37Speaker 2: If he's doing the real story, then there's no way
- 27:39Speaker 2: I couldn't be in it. But I don't want to
- 27:41Speaker 2: be in it.
- 27:42Speaker 4: From what he did with the Menendez brothers, because I
- 27:45Speaker 4: know a lot about it, he.
- 27:46Speaker 2: Really kind of takes.
- 27:48Speaker 4: A little from everything. From tabloids, from people's theories, from
- 27:52Speaker 4: several different books. And then also because he can create
- 27:58Speaker 4: a scene and a conversation that nobody knows would be
- 28:01Speaker 4: true or not because you're taking the characters.
- 28:02Speaker 2: I think everyone thinks everything is true. Right. Which is
- 28:06Speaker 2: the unfortunate part when 90% is just from tabloids that
- 28:11Speaker 2: are not true. Right. But whatever. It's entertainment. Yeah. I'm
- 28:16Speaker 2: not like. I'm not wishing to be part of it.
- 28:20Speaker 4: I'm just, okay, so I just want to ask the
- 28:22Speaker 4: Juicy Scoopers to suggest some actresses that.
- 28:25Speaker 2: Could play you. Oh, okay, okay. Because at that time,
- 28:28Speaker 2: you were like in your 30s. Yeah. So an actress
- 28:32Speaker 2: in her 30s. Yeah. She doesn't have to have green
- 28:35Speaker 2: eyes because they weren't green. They weren't green. They were brown.
- 28:41Speaker 4: An upper class New York brunette who's thin with a
- 28:45Speaker 4: nice ass.
- 28:45Speaker 2: That's what we need. class. I mean, I was a
- 28:49Speaker 2: working journalist at ABC hustling. Like I was not like, yes.
- 28:54Speaker 2: But you had style.
- 28:55Speaker 4: You had good style is what I'm saying.
- 28:57Speaker 2: No, I mean. You had like the simple good. You
- 28:59Speaker 2: always had the good stuff. Just like, just like she did. No,
- 29:02Speaker 2: I was, I didn't really have style because I remember Carolyn, like,
- 29:05Speaker 2: you know, we used to go through my closet. She's like, honey,
- 29:08Speaker 2: you got to get rid of this. Oh, really?
- 29:10Speaker 4: Yes.
- 29:11Speaker 2: Did you love it? I love it when somebody does that.
- 29:14Speaker 2: She had a great closet and she gave me all
- 29:16Speaker 2: of her Prada suits and stuff that she thought she
- 29:20Speaker 2: would need to wear that she never wore. And then
- 29:23Speaker 2: you had them for work and stuff. I had them
- 29:26Speaker 2: for work because I was like little Miss Nerd going
- 29:29Speaker 2: to ABC News. She was fabulous and not going to
- 29:33Speaker 2: corporate America. you know, she left. Well, if you did
- 29:38Speaker 2: yours as a play. What Remains, yeah. I think I would,
- 29:43Speaker 2: to be honest, and I'm just sort of brainstorming it now,
- 29:47Speaker 2: but I think I would focus on the two girls.
- 29:48Speaker 2: I think I would focus on me and Carolyn and
- 29:54Speaker 2: that would be more the focus because Um, I just
- 29:58Speaker 2: think it was interesting, very complex. I mean, obviously my
- 30:01Speaker 2: husband and her husband are part of that whole story, but.
- 30:05Speaker 4: Because just to remind people they're, they're first cousins.
- 30:08Speaker 2: Yes.
- 30:08Speaker 4: They're Jackie and your husband's were.
- 30:12Speaker 2: Sisters and they were the only two in the family.
- 30:14Speaker 4: So they're very close and there's been a lot of
- 30:17Speaker 4: books and stuff written about their relationship because it's something
- 30:21Speaker 4: juicy and things that people want to speculate about because
- 30:25Speaker 4: one was the first lady.
- 30:26Speaker 2: The other one had this great life in.
- 30:28Speaker 4: New York, and then there's Onassis that came in, and
- 30:31Speaker 4: there's stories that Lee dated Onassis, and then that ended.
- 30:38Speaker 4: But then there's stories that basically Like Lee was like,
- 30:42Speaker 4: you should go form Jackie because you need someone this
- 30:45Speaker 4: wealthy because the Secret Service has stopped and the Kennedys
- 30:49Speaker 4: are being cheap and you have these two kids. I'm
- 30:54Speaker 4: just saying these are the things that I've read. I
- 30:57Speaker 4: don't know anything, but these are the stories that are
- 30:58Speaker 4: kind of out there. So it's like, yes, I think
- 31:01Speaker 4: I want to know. what it was like for the
- 31:03Speaker 4: two of you to marry into this.
- 31:06Speaker 2: Yeah, it's just a much more, it's like a deeper
- 31:09Speaker 2: story of the two girls. And she grew up much
- 31:12Speaker 2: like I did in upstate New York, not wealthy, but,
- 31:15Speaker 2: you know, she was a single mom, you know, with
- 31:19Speaker 2: three kids. You mean her mom was? Her mom was
- 31:21Speaker 2: a single mom. Oh, I didn't know that. I know
- 31:24Speaker 2: because the story in the tabloids is more like grew
- 31:26Speaker 2: up in Greenwich and it all seems fabulous, but she didn't,
- 31:30Speaker 2: her mom didn't remarry till Carolyn was like in her teens.
- 31:33Speaker 2: So that was, and then she married a doctor and
- 31:35Speaker 2: that was, you know, then they moved to Greenwich. But no,
- 31:38Speaker 2: she grew up in Yonkers and, you know, much probably
- 31:42Speaker 2: like I did. So it's sort of like this sort
- 31:44Speaker 2: of Cinderella story. We both go to the, you know,
- 31:47Speaker 2: make our way to New York City and kind of
- 31:48Speaker 2: reinvent ourselves, her in fashion. And she, you know, moved
- 31:53Speaker 2: up the ranks in fashion. I moved up the ranks
- 31:54Speaker 2: in journalism. I don't know. It just feels like.
- 31:57Speaker 4: And also that era, there's a lot of nostalgia. The
- 32:01Speaker 4: Gen Zers are like, oh, what was it like to
- 32:04Speaker 4: be in college without Instagram? With my book, You'll Never
- 32:09Speaker 4: Blue Ball in This Town Again, I always think it's
- 32:10Speaker 4: great to have a book because I always tell people
- 32:13Speaker 4: when they're like.
- 32:13Speaker 2: Should I write a book? I write a book because
- 32:15Speaker 2: you never know It's.
- 32:17Speaker 4: Not like it has to turn it, unlike TV that
- 32:18Speaker 4: you pitch it, nobody wants.
- 32:20Speaker 2: It, it's dead. Or the pilot is dead, it's dead.
- 32:23Speaker 4: A book is as a piece of real estate that
- 32:25Speaker 4: can be turned into something later on. I feel like
- 32:28Speaker 4: my book, just because you talked about it, I feel
- 32:31Speaker 4: like my book, which is about a girl in LA
- 32:34Speaker 4: trying to make it all these funny dating stories and
- 32:38Speaker 4: all this stuff, but I was.
- 32:39Speaker 2: An old virgin and I really didn't want to be
- 32:41Speaker 2: an old virgin, but I was.
- 32:43Speaker 4: And so- But it's like, and I'm almost like a
- 32:46Speaker 4: little bit of a Forrest Gump, like I live down
- 32:48Speaker 4: the street from OJ, I made out with Kato, like
- 32:50Speaker 4: there's all.
- 32:51Speaker 2: These like stories from the 90s that are like a
- 32:53Speaker 2: little bit. People are obsessed with the 90s now.
- 32:56Speaker 4: They're obsessed with the 90s because there's like answering machines,
- 32:59Speaker 4: there's like, You had to wait. You could play the rules,
- 33:02Speaker 4: which is the book about making a guy kind of
- 33:05Speaker 4: wait and wonder what you're up to.
- 33:06Speaker 2: It's a whole different thing. You met your husband at
- 33:08Speaker 2: work a lot. Now it's like forbidden. Yes, you can't
- 33:11Speaker 2: meet him at work. You can't meet him at work. Right.
- 33:14Speaker 2: It was everyone's nostalgic for it. And my story, I think,
- 33:17Speaker 2: takes place really in the 70s when we grew up,
- 33:19Speaker 2: and that's such a great era, and the 90s when
- 33:21Speaker 2: I got to ABC News and moved to the city.
- 33:23Speaker 2: Carolyn moved to the city around the same time we
- 33:26Speaker 2: both met. I met Anthony. She met John in the
- 33:28Speaker 2: early 90s. Who met? The husband's first. I met Anthony
- 33:34Speaker 2: probably in 1990. Yes. And then she, Carolyn and John
- 33:38Speaker 2: started dating in 91 or something. But then they broke
- 33:44Speaker 2: up for a while. And he went back to an
- 33:47Speaker 2: old girlfriend. He was dating Daryl Hannah for a long time.
- 33:50Speaker 2: So he dated her. He went back to her for
- 33:52Speaker 2: a couple of years. And then they got back together
- 33:54Speaker 2: in 94 or And then were you happy? Yes, because
- 33:58Speaker 2: you had stayed friends with her. Oh, okay, that's cool. Yeah,
- 34:01Speaker 2: so I kept the connection a bit. She was so fun.
- 34:05Speaker 2: So that every time he'd.
- 34:06Speaker 4: Pop over in his beret, I always imagine him on
- 34:10Speaker 4: a bike in a beret but with no shirt.
- 34:12Speaker 2: I know that doesn't make sense, but it's the way
- 34:14Speaker 2: you remember it. No, he was never like that. But
- 34:16Speaker 2: when he came over shirtless in a beret.
- 34:18Speaker 4: He was never shirtless in a beret.
- 34:22Speaker 2: And so.
- 34:24Speaker 4: So then would you drop that like, oh, I just
- 34:28Speaker 4: had lunch?
- 34:29Speaker 2: No. Or he would ask. He would ask. I would
- 34:31Speaker 2: never talk about it. And what would you say? And
- 34:33Speaker 2: Carolyn was very, very, you know, she's not, I mean, listen,
- 34:37Speaker 2: she was not chasing any boys. Right. Even John. So
- 34:41Speaker 2: she wasn't like, she wasn't trying to stay in touch
- 34:44Speaker 2: with me to get information. In fact, she kind of
- 34:48Speaker 2: was careful about any interaction we had. She didn't want
- 34:52Speaker 2: it to seem even like she was trying to get information.
- 34:55Speaker 2: She was the ultimate cool girl. Even as John Kennedy,
- 35:00Speaker 2: she did not care. She's like, she's Carolyn Bissett. She
- 35:05Speaker 2: really knew, more than any woman I've ever met, even
- 35:08Speaker 2: before or since, she really knew She knew her worth
- 35:12Speaker 2: in that way, in a way that was extraordinary for
- 35:15Speaker 2: the 90s, going back to the 90s, where women were
- 35:18Speaker 2: just a little bit more like, you know, unsure where
- 35:21Speaker 2: they were in the workplace, unsure where they were in
- 35:23Speaker 2: the dating scene. You know, I mean, date rape had
- 35:27Speaker 2: not been, you know, that was not even mentioned. It
- 35:30Speaker 2: wasn't even a term. So she was, yeah, she was great.
- 35:36Speaker 2: And then when they got back together after his mother
- 35:37Speaker 2: passed away, then it was on. It was like they
- 35:41Speaker 2: were getting married.
- 35:42Speaker 4: And then you were, you actually had the princess title, right?
- 35:47Speaker 4: Explain how you became a princess.
- 35:51Speaker 2: My husband, Anthony's family, were like the aristocracy in Poland
- 35:56Speaker 2: for hundreds of years. And that was, was that Lee's
- 35:58Speaker 2: first husband? Yeah, no, Lee got married actually... but when
- 36:03Speaker 2: she was young, like 19 or 20, to Michael Canfield,
- 36:08Speaker 2: but they were only married like two years, and it
- 36:12Speaker 2: was annulled, and then she married Anthony's dad, Stanislaus Albert. Okay,
- 36:17Speaker 2: and then did they stay married the whole time? They
- 36:20Speaker 2: were married. They ended up divorcing when Lee was in
- 36:23Speaker 2: the 70s. Anthony was probably like 16, so they were
- 36:26Speaker 2: married for a long time. So when we see Lee's character,
- 36:28Speaker 2: who Callista... is playing, which will bring back to the
- 36:31Speaker 2: play that you were in, but in The Swans, which
- 36:35Speaker 2: I loved. But you, it was interesting because you knew Leigh.
- 36:41Speaker 4: And you guys stayed very close after her son, which
- 36:46Speaker 4: is kind of really wonderful because sometimes when you hear
- 36:51Speaker 4: about a young death of a son or whatever, Sometimes
- 36:56Speaker 4: the mother-in-law doesn't keep that relationship with the spouse or whatever,
- 37:00Speaker 4: especially when there's not kids or something.
- 37:02Speaker 2: Yeah, we had nothing linking us. So I think that's
- 37:04Speaker 2: really cool that you guys stayed connected. It was 20 years.
- 37:09Speaker 2: She lived 20 years longer. And there were times when
- 37:12Speaker 2: we would not see each other. It was hard in
- 37:14Speaker 2: the beginning. And she was living in Paris. But I
- 37:17Speaker 2: went to Paris to visit her a few times. And then...
- 37:21Speaker 2: As the time wore on, it just got easier and
- 37:23Speaker 2: easier to be with her. And it was actually towards
- 37:25Speaker 2: the end, what ended up being the end of her life,
- 37:27Speaker 2: the last 10 years or five years, she was great.
- 37:31Speaker 2: I mean, we would have dinner at her apartment, just
- 37:33Speaker 2: the two of us. And she was really extraordinary. And
- 37:37Speaker 2: I think people don't even understand the depth of what
- 37:39Speaker 2: she really was, because she's always couched next to Jackie.
- 37:43Speaker 2: But she was so intelligent, so curious about everything. She
- 37:49Speaker 2: could talk politics, culture. And then the one thing about her,
- 37:54Speaker 2: one of the things I admired about her was she
- 37:55Speaker 2: wasn't nostalgic at all about this life she had led,
- 37:58Speaker 2: like in the 60s. And she could have been. I mean,
- 38:00Speaker 2: people lead less glamorous, less interesting lives that cling to
- 38:03Speaker 2: those stories. You know, you hear them over and over again. Oh, God,
- 38:07Speaker 2: is that going to be me? No. That's me. When
- 38:12Speaker 2: I was on Roni.
- 38:14Speaker 4: No, we'll get to Roni, but you didn't even talk
- 38:16Speaker 4: about Roni, so you haven't even gotten.
- 38:18Speaker 2: To Roni yet. Come on. But she wasn't nostalgic, and
- 38:21Speaker 2: it was just refreshing, and she was fucking fantastic. She
- 38:25Speaker 2: was fantastic. And yeah, I didn't see the swans, so
- 38:28Speaker 2: I think. But I did have the opportunity to meet
- 38:30Speaker 2: Calista because I invested in this play, and now I'm
- 38:35Speaker 2: getting sort of trying to get into theater a little bit.
- 38:37Speaker 2: And I love theater. I think it's elegant. What's the
- 38:40Speaker 2: name of the play? It's an old Sam Shepard play,
- 38:43Speaker 2: wrote in 19, I think, 77, called The Curse of
- 38:46Speaker 2: the Starving Class. It's very relevant today. It's starring Calista,
- 38:53Speaker 2: Flock Archie plays the mother, and Christian Bale. Another 90s guy. Yeah.
- 38:57Speaker 2: He's fantastic. He plays the husband. And then sort of
- 39:02Speaker 2: these two newcomers. Cooper Hoffman is the son. He's kind
- 39:06Speaker 2: of the main character. And he's Philip Seymour Hoffman's son. Oh, wow. Unbelievable.
- 39:10Speaker 2: He's like 19 years old. Wow. He's so good. And
- 39:13Speaker 2: then Stella Marcus is a young girl. She plays the daughter.
- 39:17Speaker 2: And it's such a brilliant cast. And this is off-Broadway.
- 39:21Speaker 2: It's a not-for-profit theater. It's one of the It's just
- 39:24Speaker 2: been extraordinary to be able to see from table read
- 39:28Speaker 2: to studio rehearsal. to tech rehearsal which is what we're
- 39:31Speaker 2: in now tech rehearse on previews and it opens in
- 39:34Speaker 2: a couple weeks the work that these actors do like
- 39:37Speaker 2: I saw from table readers only a month ago now
- 39:40Speaker 2: they're totally off book they're they're doing it in previews
- 39:43Speaker 2: so anyone can go see the play now in previews
- 39:46Speaker 2: and they're perfect. I mean, it's extraordinary what they can
- 39:50Speaker 2: do to bring, because I read the play, it's a
- 39:52Speaker 2: very dense, very intense, kind of dark play, and you're
- 39:56Speaker 2: reading it and you're like, wow, I don't know how
- 39:57Speaker 2: to get through this. The minute the actors start talking
- 40:01Speaker 2: the dialogue and doing whatever the hell they do, it's
- 40:04Speaker 2: just like, It comes to life. It's really interesting. It's
- 40:08Speaker 2: the thing that I really love about New York is
- 40:09Speaker 2: I was saying the other day I went to see
- 40:11Speaker 2: Bridget Jones' Diary. You can't get more like pop and
- 40:14Speaker 2: fun and cutesy. And then I went to tech rehearsal
- 40:18Speaker 2: for Curse of the Starving Class. And it's just the
- 40:23Speaker 2: greatest thing about New York that you can go at
- 40:26Speaker 2: any day, any night, and go see off-Broadway this intense,
- 40:30Speaker 2: incredibly interesting play and that... It's totally relevant today. And
- 40:38Speaker 2: then the next day, see a Bridget Jones movie. Like premiere, yeah.
- 40:42Speaker 2: See a premiere with Renee Zellweger and gorgeous Leo Woodall.
- 40:49Speaker 2: It's just a great thing.
- 40:49Speaker 4: That's why it was funny talking to Sonya.
- 40:52Speaker 2: Everyone should go see this play, by the way. I
- 40:55Speaker 2: don't know. I'll link it in my Instagram. Yeah, yeah, definitely. Absolutely. No,
- 41:00Speaker 2: I'll share it. No, I'll share it. Okay, I'll give
- 41:02Speaker 2: you the link. And it's super cheap. It's not like Broadway.
- 41:05Speaker 2: The tickets are like $ 70. And the theater, Signature Theater,
- 41:09Speaker 2: is small. So it's like you feel like you're a
- 41:12Speaker 2: part of the whole production. And by the way, there's
- 41:15Speaker 2: a sheep, a live sheep. And I won't give it away.
- 41:18Speaker 2: So you met Calista. Oh, I met Calista because she
- 41:21Speaker 2: came over to me after the table read because we
- 41:23Speaker 2: all went around and said our names and whatever. And...
- 41:27Speaker 2: And she said, you know, she played my mother-in-law. And
- 41:33Speaker 2: then she said this, first of all, she is gorgeous.
- 41:36Speaker 2: She's so striking in person. And I just was like,
- 41:39Speaker 2: she kind of looks like my mother-in-law. Like the high
- 41:42Speaker 2: cheekbones and the wide eyes. I was like, damn. I
- 41:45Speaker 2: thought it was a good cast. It was a good cast.
- 41:47Speaker 2: And she said that she had read something or heard
- 41:49Speaker 2: something I had said about Lee that she would repeat
- 41:51Speaker 2: in interviews. And she was just so lovely about it.
- 41:54Speaker 2: I'm going to forget. I guess I said something in
- 41:57Speaker 2: relation to Lee always being in the shadow of Jackie.
- 42:01Speaker 2: I said Lee was never the shadow. She was the
- 42:03Speaker 2: sun and the stars. And I guess Calista had read
- 42:12Speaker 2: that somewhere and she would say that in interviews and stuff.
- 42:15Speaker 2: She goes, I think they cut it out a lot
- 42:17Speaker 2: because I think they wanted to perpetuate that. That there's
- 42:21Speaker 2: a sibling rivalry and all that.
- 42:24Speaker 4: Speaking of which, you know, there's all these, because you're
- 42:27Speaker 4: part of this, you know, Kennedy situation, you know, one
- 42:32Speaker 4: of my favorites was Greg Gardens.
- 42:34Speaker 2: With Edie, which was like, Lee is buried next to
- 42:38Speaker 2: Big Edie.
- 42:39Speaker 4: And that is Lee and Jackie's cousin was Big Edie.
- 42:44Speaker 2: Yes. Yes. Right. And she had this fancy home, but
- 42:48Speaker 2: she and her daughter like just.
- 42:50Speaker 4: So anyway, I mean, I said it to Sonia. I'm like,
- 42:53Speaker 4: it was like Grey Gardens with that townhouse with you.
- 42:56Speaker 4: And she like, you know, is laughing on the whole thing.
- 42:59Speaker 4: And I go, do you still have these interns, you know?
- 43:02Speaker 4: And she's like, oh, yeah, you know, they help me
- 43:04Speaker 4: with my OnlyFans, you know. I'll show some feet for
- 43:07Speaker 4: the pervs. But they really help because, you know, then I, like,
- 43:10Speaker 4: I put it all together. And then they have it
- 43:11Speaker 4: in a Dropbox. And, you know, then they can distribute it.
- 43:13Speaker 4: And I go, do you pay the interns?
- 43:15Speaker 2: She's like, no, no, no, they get school credit. I'm like, what?
- 43:19Speaker 2: The school credit is hosting a 60-year-old woman's interview. Only fans? Anyway,
- 43:26Speaker 2: she goes, but you know what, they have a great life.
- 43:27Speaker 4: Do you want to work at a Barnes and Noble
- 43:30Speaker 4: and barely get to afford your sweet greens? Or go
- 43:33Speaker 4: with me to a fashion show and hang out with
- 43:34Speaker 4: Josh Flatt? She's like, come on, I'm showing them the
- 43:38Speaker 4: greatest life ever. And I'm like, yeah, I'm sure.
- 43:41Speaker 2: You're so entertaining. I'm sure it's fun for them. Of course.
- 43:45Speaker 2: I don't think they're getting any kind of school credit.
- 43:48Speaker 2: They'd have to be in school.
- 43:49Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 43:50Speaker 2: I don't know how that works.
- 43:51Speaker 4: Maybe she saw Baby Girl and now she's like, let
- 43:53Speaker 4: me have some other interns that do.
- 43:55Speaker 2: More than just post the content. Post my only thing.
- 43:59Speaker 4: But some of the comments were like, she was so
- 44:01Speaker 4: funny and entertaining. Some were like, wow, this is kind of,
- 44:05Speaker 4: you know, sad in that she was on this show
- 44:08Speaker 4: and they, you.
- 44:08Speaker 2: Know, got all new cast. We don't know if they're
- 44:10Speaker 2: ever coming back.
- 44:12Speaker 4: And, you know, Luann is doing great with her cabaret.
- 44:16Speaker 2: You know, Bethany obviously has her thing going. Jill has
- 44:18Speaker 2: her thing going.
- 44:20Speaker 4: And, you know, but like, you see that Sonia's like, no,
- 44:24Speaker 4: I mean, I'm modeling lingerie. I'm doing OnlyFans. I can't
- 44:26Speaker 4: do traders because I have to do my cameos. And then, like,
- 44:29Speaker 4: you know, and then I'm doing this cabaretsque show and
- 44:31Speaker 4: all these other things. And some people are like, wow,
- 44:33Speaker 4: like you were a housewife.
- 44:35Speaker 2: You were married to this like, you know, billionaire or whatever.
- 44:37Speaker 4: And I'm like, I wonder if there should be a
- 44:41Speaker 4: little program just like they now have with a lot
- 44:45Speaker 4: of football players to be like, you're going to.
- 44:47Speaker 2: Be making this much money.
- 44:48Speaker 4: We want to teach you, not just put you into
- 44:50Speaker 4: an advisor that can steal your money, but we want
- 44:52Speaker 4: to teach you like to not be overly generous with
- 44:56Speaker 4: your money with family or.
- 44:57Speaker 2: How to keep it going and dah, dah, dah. And
- 44:59Speaker 2: I kind of.
- 44:59Speaker 4: Wonder like, well, we all know that you guys don't
- 45:02Speaker 4: get paid a lot, but when you guys did it,
- 45:07Speaker 4: you were not, the cast wasn't paying for personal glam
- 45:11Speaker 4: and giving them hotel rooms and taking them on the trips.
- 45:14Speaker 4: And I'm like, at a certain point, like as a
- 45:17Speaker 4: housewife consultant, I'm like, learn how to fill in your
- 45:19Speaker 4: own eyebrow. Like seriously, like before your house forecloses on
- 45:22Speaker 4: just because you're on housewives, like I know you have
- 45:26Speaker 4: to have this perception that like, oh, I'm going to
- 45:28Speaker 4: have this fancy party and they make you pay for
- 45:30Speaker 4: your own parties and things. But at the same time, like,
- 45:34Speaker 4: don't be in the red after being on a show
- 45:37Speaker 4: that makes the franchise, you know, whatever, $ 300 million.
- 45:40Speaker 2: It's like a half a billion dollars now, right? Yeah. Yeah,
- 45:45Speaker 2: I mean, we didn't fly around glam or anything. I'm
- 45:51Speaker 2: trying to think. I mean... I mean, I wasn't overspending.
- 45:55Speaker 2: I was not pretending to be richer than I was.
- 45:58Speaker 2: I was just being, you know, I was just like,
- 45:59Speaker 2: this is my life. I live downtown. I love my apartment.
- 46:03Speaker 2: It's a, you know, one bedroom. It's perfect. Yeah. And,
- 46:08Speaker 2: you know, I'm not trying to be rich. Right. I'm
- 46:11Speaker 2: not trying to seem like I'm richer and not flying
- 46:13Speaker 2: in hair and makeup. But, yeah, I think there's a
- 46:17Speaker 2: lot of, because the potential, like after the fourth season,
- 46:20Speaker 2: you do start getting paid more. a decent amount, but
- 46:24Speaker 2: after you take out wardrobe, hair, makeup, all that stuff,
- 46:28Speaker 2: if you're really overspending there, that could be your whole salary.
- 46:33Speaker 2: I guess now it maybe is a little different because
- 46:38Speaker 2: they make a lot of money on social media. That
- 46:40Speaker 2: didn't exist when I first started on Housewives. Can you
- 46:42Speaker 2: believe it? Instagram launched the same year I was on
- 46:46Speaker 2: the show. No one knew Instagram. No one was doing
- 46:50Speaker 2: brand deals. Yeah.
- 46:52Speaker 4: I mean, I don't think until like Kim really started like, oh,
- 46:56Speaker 4: I should be paid per post. And then she really
- 46:59Speaker 4: kind of paved the way for like everybody to then
- 47:01Speaker 4: make money off of it.
- 47:03Speaker 2: And you're right. That probably didn't.
- 47:04Speaker 4: Really start happening until like.
- 47:07Speaker 2: Around 2010 ish. or later? Well, I started in 2011.
- 47:13Speaker 2: Instagram didn't launch until 2011. Oh, okay. 2012. So I'm
- 47:16Speaker 2: thinking Twitter, yeah, you're right. Twitter announced the same, in
- 47:22Speaker 2: March of 2008, the same month that Roni announced. Yeah.
- 47:26Speaker 2: So there wasn't even Twitter when Roni originally, like, seasons
- 47:29Speaker 2: one and two. Like, Twitter was just in its infancy.
- 47:33Speaker 6: Right.
- 47:33Speaker 2: And you told me that you know the new Roni girls,
- 47:36Speaker 2: that you've met them all. I don't know who's on
- 47:37Speaker 2: it now. I mean... I've met the ones that were
- 47:40Speaker 2: on it maybe last year. I don't know if they
- 47:41Speaker 2: switched them up. Right. Or are they switching them up? No,
- 47:44Speaker 2: it's all the same. They just added Rebecca Minkoff. Okay.
- 47:47Speaker 2: And then she already announced.
- 47:49Speaker 4: She's not coming back. And it wasn't really a good fit.
- 47:53Speaker 4: But I don't feel like really any of them really were.
- 47:55Speaker 4: It's just so different because they're all like, you know,
- 47:58Speaker 4: they didn't know each other before. And they're just like
- 48:01Speaker 4: what made it, you know. What Sonya said is it
- 48:04Speaker 4: just shouldn't have been called Roni. It should have been
- 48:06Speaker 4: called something.
- 48:08Speaker 2: I don't know what else you'd call it. Had to
- 48:09Speaker 2: be called Roni. Had to be called Roni. But I
- 48:10Speaker 2: think that's.
- 48:11Speaker 4: Where Roni 1 and 2, I don't know.
- 48:14Speaker 2: But yeah, I get why they had to call it Roni.
- 48:16Speaker 2: I think just like people are nostalgic for the 90s
- 48:20Speaker 2: and the Bridget Jones and the John and Carolyn story,
- 48:28Speaker 2: my story. I think there's a little nostalgia for the
- 48:32Speaker 2: old original and cast and when I was on it.
- 48:37Speaker 4: In their defense, when you guys came on, there wasn't
- 48:39Speaker 4: really a way, even if you wanted to, to watch
- 48:43Speaker 4: them all on Peacock and study it and then go, ooh,
- 48:46Speaker 4: I've got to have a storyline and then I've got
- 48:47Speaker 4: to bring.
- 48:48Speaker 2: Up this snarky thing and then act like I didn't
- 48:50Speaker 2: mean to bring it up. They started doing that. Did
- 48:51Speaker 2: I just say that? And you guys were just living
- 48:53Speaker 2: in the moment. Yeah. And then you were all smart
- 48:56Speaker 2: and funny and had that New York like no bullshit
- 48:59Speaker 2: way about you. Yeah.
- 49:00Speaker 4: That would just get you to like say it in
- 49:02Speaker 4: your own funny point of view. But again, it was
- 49:05Speaker 4: never like super mean or snarky. Like even like, you know,
- 49:08Speaker 4: with Ramona and stuff, it's like she just is who
- 49:11Speaker 4: she is.
- 49:12Speaker 2: And she's just not really self-aware. Right.
- 49:14Speaker 4: But then everyone says like, you know, when you need her,
- 49:18Speaker 4: like if someone passes or something, like, she's still there
- 49:20Speaker 4: as a great friend.
- 49:21Speaker 2: Yeah. She has all those girlfriends. Yeah. All those girlfriends.
- 49:25Speaker 2: You know, I'm not going to apologize for it. You
- 49:27Speaker 2: know what?
- 49:28Speaker 4: I'm not going to apologize for having a bunch of
- 49:29Speaker 4: gorgeous friends that happen to be one percenters.
- 49:32Speaker 2: I mean, they're probably... You know how many people are 1%?
- 49:34Speaker 2: I mean, they're probably like 0.5%.
- 49:35Speaker 4: They're like really, really, you know, and it doesn't change
- 49:39Speaker 4: them because I'm the biggest heart.
- 49:40Speaker 2: Of anybody I know. I'm the biggest heart of anyone
- 49:42Speaker 2: I know. But that's who she is.
- 49:47Speaker 4: Based on her age, where her bubble is, that's what
- 49:51Speaker 4: made it fun. We wanted to see these people that
- 49:55Speaker 4: lived in a place, New York City, We don't live there.
- 49:59Speaker 2: Yeah. Like, I want to see what your life is like.
- 50:01Speaker 2: You don't have to apologize.
- 50:02Speaker 4: But I get why someone gets on it now and
- 50:05Speaker 4: is going to be way more self-conscious because they've seen that,
- 50:10Speaker 4: you know, what happens to people or that, you know,
- 50:13Speaker 4: canceled or this one thing they said haunted them for
- 50:16Speaker 4: the next 10 years.
- 50:17Speaker 2: Like, I totally get it.
- 50:18Speaker 4: And it's not their fault, but it's why the joy
- 50:21Speaker 4: of the show has changed.
- 50:23Speaker 2: I mean, they're playing for it. They're playing for the show,
- 50:26Speaker 2: and they're playing for social media. And we didn't really
- 50:29Speaker 2: have that. They definitely didn't have it in the first
- 50:35Speaker 2: six seasons of Roni. And then when Instagram really started,
- 50:40Speaker 2: when people really were aware that this could be monetized
- 50:43Speaker 2: and brand collabs, and then people were retweeting and reposting things.
- 50:50Speaker 2: But what we had, we had blogs, like, You had
- 50:54Speaker 2: to do that, yeah. We had to write blogs, but
- 50:55Speaker 2: also there were housewife bloggers. There was one called Stupid Housewives, S-T-O-O-P-I-D,
- 51:01Speaker 2: and they were so mean, but it was just like
- 51:03Speaker 2: a blog, right? It wasn't fucking TikTok where there's a
- 51:10Speaker 2: video of you saying some stupid fucking thing.
- 51:13Speaker 4: Right.
- 51:14Speaker 2: And then it plays over and over and over again.
- 51:16Speaker 2: I just think the cast now is just dealing with
- 51:19Speaker 2: a whole other host of things. And I think in
- 51:22Speaker 2: a way, you're right. Everyone can study it now. Maybe
- 51:26Speaker 2: it's a bit studied and a bit like they know
- 51:29Speaker 2: they can make their money off. They're going to make
- 51:31Speaker 2: their money in social media with brand deals. So they're
- 51:34Speaker 2: not going to. Take their top off and make out
- 51:37Speaker 2: with each other and jump in the pool naked. Oh, yeah.
- 51:39Speaker 2: I didn't even think about that.
- 51:41Speaker 4: They have to really protect their business and their ability
- 51:44Speaker 4: to make money.
- 51:44Speaker 2: You're right. Yeah, because you really don't get paid. I
- 51:48Speaker 2: think they still probably get like $ 60, 000. A year, a season.
- 51:52Speaker 2: A season. And you're filming for a really long time, months.
- 51:58Speaker 2: We filmed a couple of seasons, like five months of filming.
- 52:00Speaker 2: And then it doesn't end there. Then you're doing... the
- 52:05Speaker 2: promotion and the marketing and the blogging and you have
- 52:08Speaker 2: to screen it and then do Watch What Happens Live.
- 52:11Speaker 2: It's a lot. It's not just like this finite little
- 52:14Speaker 2: chunk of time and then you can go off and
- 52:17Speaker 2: live your life. You're constantly, you know, and then you're
- 52:21Speaker 2: gearing up for the reunion and then you have the
- 52:22Speaker 2: reunion and then you're gearing up for the next season.
- 52:25Speaker 2: So a couple things. So $ 60, 000 after hair, makeup, and
- 52:29Speaker 2: taxes is like, you're very aware that you're going to
- 52:33Speaker 2: make a lot more money on social media now than
- 52:35Speaker 2: you are from the show in those first few seasons. Right.
- 52:39Speaker 4: And I think that, so we are filming this in
- 52:43Speaker 4: the world famous Lowe's Regency, where the Regency bar is downstairs,
- 52:49Speaker 4: which is, you know, please don't say it's about Tom.
- 52:52Speaker 4: When Bethany had a, you know, a friend just happened
- 52:55Speaker 4: to send her a photo of Tom in a compromising
- 52:58Speaker 4: position who was engaged at Luann's.
- 53:00Speaker 2: At the time, with some other woman.
- 53:02Speaker 4: And last time you came on the show, you actually
- 53:05Speaker 4: found out who was responsible for taking.
- 53:08Speaker 2: The photo, sending it, and it was... Michael Cohen.
- 53:12Speaker 4: Michael Cohen, who was friends with Bethany's boyfriend at the time, Dennis.
- 53:15Speaker 2: Yes. Michael Cohen, Donald Trump's former attorney. Attorney.
- 53:19Speaker 4: And then, so he got the call, the text to
- 53:22Speaker 4: go down and take a photo.
- 53:23Speaker 2: Yes. He took the photo. I mean, let me just say...
- 53:28Speaker 2: I had not thought about that in many, many years.
- 53:31Speaker 2: I had no interest in... I didn't care one bit
- 53:34Speaker 2: about any of those characters. Right.
- 53:36Speaker 4: Because you weren't on that season anymore, right?
- 53:39Speaker 2: No, I was. Wait, were you on the season? I was.
- 53:42Speaker 2: You were on the season of the Tom. I was, yes.
- 53:43Speaker 2: You were on the trip when she's shaking with the... Yeah,
- 53:46Speaker 2: that was Miami. I was on like two seasons after. Okay,
- 53:49Speaker 2: I can't remember where. But I had been off the
- 53:51Speaker 2: show for several years and not thinking about it at
- 53:54Speaker 2: all when I was having dinner with my friend... who
- 53:58Speaker 2: was a movie director. And Michael Cohen walked in and
- 54:02Speaker 2: was trying to pitch my friend to do his book
- 54:04Speaker 2: as a movie and sat down. And I mean, I thought,
- 54:07Speaker 2: oh God, I'm just, I do not want to have
- 54:09Speaker 2: dinner with Michael Cohen and Trump's attorney. And he actually
- 54:12Speaker 2: turned out to be so funny, so crazy. He knew
- 54:16Speaker 2: all the housewives, like literally knew, he lived in this
- 54:20Speaker 2: the same building as Dorinda like 20 years ago. He
- 54:23Speaker 2: knew Ramona. He knew all of them. And he knew
- 54:26Speaker 2: Bethany through her then boyfriend and Luann, all of them.
- 54:32Speaker 2: And he said he had even met me before, but
- 54:33Speaker 2: I didn't remember it because he was close to Aviva.
- 54:39Speaker 2: And then he said something about Tom and Luann. And
- 54:44Speaker 2: he was like, well, you know, I took that picture.
- 54:46Speaker 2: Like he just literally, and I was like, wait a minute. what?
- 54:50Speaker 2: And he told me the whole story. That he got
- 54:53Speaker 2: the message from... Yeah. I think it was like a setup.
- 54:56Speaker 2: I think the whole thing was a setup. The whole
- 54:58Speaker 2: thing was a setup.
- 54:58Speaker 4: That the girl had been talking to Tom and it
- 55:00Speaker 4: was like, I'm going to go see him at this bar.
- 55:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 55:03Speaker 4: And someone takes a photo, sends it, and then Bethany
- 55:06Speaker 4: can act like she was this great friend trying to
- 55:08Speaker 4: stop this. But when I talked to Luann, it was like,
- 55:11Speaker 4: I have said, like, do you ever think Well, maybe,
- 55:14Speaker 4: you know, she was giving you a gift to maybe, like,
- 55:17Speaker 4: not marry him.
- 55:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 55:18Speaker 4: And, yes, but at the same time, it was one
- 55:21Speaker 4: of those, kind of what I'm talking about, those mean
- 55:23Speaker 4: moments where you do it on camera.
- 55:25Speaker 2: Yes.
- 55:25Speaker 4: Like, you could have easily been, like, off camera, like,
- 55:31Speaker 4: I got to tell you something.
- 55:32Speaker 2: No, but when you're on the reality show, you can't
- 55:34Speaker 2: do it off camera. Right. You have to. You have to.
- 55:36Speaker 2: I think the mean part of it was setting the
- 55:39Speaker 2: whole thing up to begin with. Setting it up to
- 55:41Speaker 2: begin with. You're right. Text me. Because she didn't just
- 55:44Speaker 2: get the thing sent to her. Yeah. No. Out of
- 55:47Speaker 2: the blue.
- 55:48Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 55:48Speaker 2: I think it was so long ago. But she knew
- 55:52Speaker 2: that this girl was going to meet Tom. Yeah. I
- 55:55Speaker 2: think she had met this woman. I mean, good luck
- 56:00Speaker 2: or bad luck or whatever. She had met this woman
- 56:02Speaker 2: and this woman said, oh, I still hang out with Tom. Yeah.
- 56:06Speaker 2: Text me the next time you're going to be with him.
- 56:08Speaker 2: So it was kind of set up like that. But,
- 56:13Speaker 2: and once it happens, and whatever, it was set up,
- 56:16Speaker 2: it happens, you can't say off camera. You can't just
- 56:19Speaker 2: do it off camera. No.
- 56:21Speaker 4: But the shaking of the skinny girl was always, that
- 56:23Speaker 4: was good.
- 56:24Speaker 2: No, no, it was so ridiculous. That was always good.
- 56:27Speaker 2: Get that in there, yeah. I mean, I remember walking in,
- 56:30Speaker 2: I'm like, I don't understand, you seem more upset than Luann.
- 56:33Speaker 2: Luann was like in the hallway at one point, and
- 56:35Speaker 2: she was like, oh, Jesus, now I've got to deal
- 56:37Speaker 2: with this. Yeah, yeah. It was like, that thing I
- 56:40Speaker 2: think was crazy.
- 56:41Speaker 6: Crying.
- 56:41Speaker 2: It was so crazy. It was so crazy. But it
- 56:45Speaker 2: was so good. Like, it really was so good. Like,
- 56:49Speaker 2: as someone watching it, you know? Okay, yeah.
- 56:53Speaker 4: The other thing that you mentioned last time you were
- 56:56Speaker 4: on was when you went on your one date with
- 57:00Speaker 4: Prince Andrew.
- 57:00Speaker 2: Oh, God. And that was a long time ago. It was, like,
- 57:04Speaker 2: right after you were widowed.
- 57:05Speaker 4: You said you spent some time in London for the holidays.
- 57:09Speaker 2: And... I mean, talk about, you know, dodging a bullet. No,
- 57:17Speaker 2: I didn't know it. I didn't know at the time.
- 57:19Speaker 2: I mean, I don't still know anything.
- 57:23Speaker 4: Right.
- 57:23Speaker 2: But I didn't even think of it really as a date.
- 57:27Speaker 2: I just thought, you know, he was like, I don't know.
- 57:31Speaker 2: He was being nice. He's the prince. So he's just
- 57:34Speaker 2: like the minister of tourism almost. And he... We end
- 57:42Speaker 2: up going to the ballet and to dinner. And he was,
- 57:48Speaker 2: you know. And did he sweat? Did he ever sweat? Remember,
- 57:51Speaker 2: he says he doesn't sweat. Oh, he does. He says,
- 57:55Speaker 2: I have a disease that keeps me from sweating. Well,
- 57:58Speaker 2: he didn't sweat. No. But I saw him. Only with
- 58:02Speaker 2: his clothes on at dinner, so I don't know. But, yeah,
- 58:07Speaker 2: that was my only experience with him. I'd seen him
- 58:11Speaker 2: a couple times after that. Listen, everyone, you know, to
- 58:14Speaker 2: me he was.
- 58:15Speaker 4: Would you, okay, now I ask Sonia this. You know,
- 58:19Speaker 4: these ultimate girl trips that I am spending all my
- 58:23Speaker 4: Christian hours, I have to do Christian service hours for myself, are.
- 58:27Speaker 2: Spent trying to get... What's Christian hours?
- 58:30Speaker 4: When you go to Catholic school, you always have to
- 58:32Speaker 4: do a certain amount of Christian service hours.
- 58:33Speaker 2: But when did you go to Catholic school? It was
- 58:35Speaker 2: like four years ago. But it's in my head.
- 58:36Speaker 4: I just am like, whenever I do something nice for someone,
- 58:39Speaker 4: I go, oh good, I got my Christian service hours in.
- 58:41Speaker 2: It's just something I say. Oh, okay.
- 58:43Speaker 4: So one of my Christian service things that I'm doing
- 58:46Speaker 4: is to get Ultimate Girls Trip back on the air.
- 58:50Speaker 4: Because I think it's a win-win for everybody involved. They
- 58:54Speaker 4: only film for one week.
- 58:55Speaker 2: Yeah. It's lucrative. They pay the girls good. Yeah. We
- 59:00Speaker 2: get to see all the OGs. Oh, you do? Okay.
- 59:04Speaker 4: Sometimes they're from all one season, but no, no, no.
- 59:07Speaker 4: Normally they've been mixing them. but I'm fine for doing
- 59:11Speaker 4: old season one week and just have them be nostalgic.
- 59:15Speaker 4: And I know they were going to do that with
- 59:18Speaker 4: the New York girls and then it fell apart.
- 59:21Speaker 2: And then this thing happened with branding. I thought they
- 59:25Speaker 2: did Roni Oil Girls. Oh, wait, they did. They did,
- 59:28Speaker 2: you're right. They did that. And you know what? It
- 59:31Speaker 2: wasn't really, it was okay. But they mix them up
- 59:36Speaker 2: with other girls.
- 59:37Speaker 4: Now that you say it, they should mix it up.
- 59:39Speaker 4: It was still fun, but it was like, it would
- 59:43Speaker 4: have been, Jill was supposed to do it, and then
- 59:47Speaker 4: Jill was like, I want to be paid the same
- 59:49Speaker 4: as everyone else, which is completely fair, and whatever.
- 59:51Speaker 2: There was a big thing.
- 59:53Speaker 4: I still think we could bring it back, but they
- 59:54Speaker 4: haven't done any for like two years because they did
- 59:58Speaker 4: one and Brandy Glanville allegedly groped Caroline Manzo.
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: Okay. And then there was like a lawsuit. So we
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: never will see that one. Oh, wow.
- 1:00:07Speaker 4: Morocco, which was like Camille Grammer and like Gretchen Rossi,
- 1:00:11Speaker 4: like people that we like, Alex McCord.
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: Like it was like a good, it was like a
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: weird mix. Oh, that's interesting.
- 1:00:17Speaker 4: And so- I actually am also starting a class action
- 1:00:21Speaker 4: lawsuit of Bravo viewers that want to sue Bravo for
- 1:00:26Speaker 4: the ability to watch this thing because we're never.
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: Going to see it.
- 1:00:29Speaker 4: And I talk about it so much, but no.
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: Why don't they just cut out those parts? Cut out
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: Brandy and Caroline. I don't know. Cut them out.
- 1:00:39Speaker 4: I think it just will get people talking and they
- 1:00:41Speaker 4: want everyone to forget about it.
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: And they're like, Heather, shut up. You keep bringing it up. Okay.
- 1:00:45Speaker 4: So... I want to do a, would you, if they
- 1:00:48Speaker 4: bring it back, would you do.
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: A one week thing?
- 1:00:54Speaker 4: Real like of, of the like for like, like, like
- 1:00:58Speaker 4: an ultimate girls trip one week where they take you
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: to Hawaii or something with a mix of women and
- 1:01:03Speaker 4: And you guys all kind of like ask.
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: Each other about- Do we get to pick what, how
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: does it, do you get to pick what- No, you
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: don't get to pick, no. Oh, they just put people together.
- 1:01:10Speaker 4: Yeah, they just say, are you down? And this is
- 1:01:12Speaker 4: the week, and will you go? And I'm just saying,
- 1:01:14Speaker 4: because you've not really done any of the stuff since
- 1:01:17Speaker 4: you left, since you said to Andy, oh, are you
- 1:01:20Speaker 4: afraid of her too now?
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, you had to bring that up. When you
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: said that- I said no to that.
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: There's something that, I know, but there's something about that
- 1:01:30Speaker 4: moment of, that just like still like gives me chills
- 1:01:35Speaker 4: because it was like, you know, and it almost makes
- 1:01:39Speaker 4: you feel like, you know, like he's the king and
- 1:01:43Speaker 4: then all of a sudden you see that someone, you know,
- 1:01:45Speaker 4: has said something and.
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: It's like, yeah, against the king and then it's like,
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: oh shit, you know. I did not have an oh
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: shit moment after I said that.
- 1:01:54Speaker 4: I know you did and that's what's so good because
- 1:01:56Speaker 4: you're like, yeah, like you're like, but that's what was
- 1:01:59Speaker 4: so good about it. But, Would you go? Would you
- 1:02:05Speaker 4: do an ultimate girls trip?
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, would you do it? Just say yes. Yeah. Okay,
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: so like, yeah, I'm going to make this happen. We're
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: going to bring this back. Maybe they don't call it
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: an ultimate girls trip.
- 1:02:17Speaker 4: Maybe they call it something else. I don't know any
- 1:02:21Speaker 4: women other than the Roni women. Maybe they should call
- 1:02:23Speaker 4: it Bravo Getaway. That's what they should call it, a
- 1:02:26Speaker 4: Bravo Getaway. And you can even throw some guys in
- 1:02:28Speaker 4: there or something. And it's just Bravo celebrities that we
- 1:02:32Speaker 4: all love.
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: Because, like, right now they're doing Traitors.
- 1:02:34Speaker 4: Yeah. And people really like it, but they mix them with, like,
- 1:02:37Speaker 4: Survivor and Big Brother.
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: None of those shows I watch. What about they mix
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: Housewives with, like, Below Deck? That's what I'm saying. That's
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: what we call it a Bravo. That's what we call
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: it Bravo Getaway. Yeah.
- 1:02:50Speaker 4: And it's a vacation for a week or two with
- 1:02:53Speaker 4: a mix of people.
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: Two weeks? Maybe a week. A week. Okay, fine. A week.
- 1:02:58Speaker 4: And it's a mix of people. And you could throw
- 1:03:00Speaker 4: in some men as well.
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: Yeah. No. No, no men? No. Okay, only girls? Okay, fine.
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: Women are more fun. All right. You know, they get it.
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: Just trying to get people to work, you know. Oh, okay. Yeah. No, no.
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: Is that like Harry Dubin kind of people? No. Okay.
- 1:03:20Speaker 4: Did I tell you that I hung out with Harry
- 1:03:22Speaker 4: Dubin when I was in Palm Beach? No, but I'm
- 1:03:24Speaker 4: not surprised.
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: So I went to this bar and Ramona was there.
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: She was very nice. In Palm Beach? In Palm Beach.
- 1:03:30Speaker 4: And then later on had lunch with Ramona. But Harry
- 1:03:34Speaker 4: Dubin came on by and this woman was like, I'm
- 1:03:40Speaker 4: going to marry Harry Dubin.
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: And I'm like, does he know that? It was very weird.
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: Like women want him. I don't.
- 1:03:46Speaker 4: Women want him. And he's flirting with me. And I'm like,
- 1:03:52Speaker 4: I'm married. And I just don't think that matters to
- 1:03:55Speaker 4: some people.
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: But whatever. He, you know, yeah. You were there then
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: when the leg was thrown, right? Of course, yes.
- 1:04:02Speaker 4: And the story, like, yeah, we all know that this
- 1:04:05Speaker 4: story is that she knew she had this planned.
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: Like, planned it out. The only thing fake about me
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: is this leg.
- 1:04:12Speaker 4: Yeah. When do you think she got the idea to
- 1:04:17Speaker 4: throw it? Do you think she got it before she
- 1:04:19Speaker 4: ever took the role?
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: No, no. I think she got it because she got
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: the idea to do it after she didn't go to
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: the trip. Because I feel like she realized that that
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: was a major mistake.
- 1:04:33Speaker 4: Mistake to miss all those days of filming and interaction.
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: Because I think contractually you have to. Contractually, it's like
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: you really obligate to go on the cast trip and
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: the reunion. Or maybe it's changed. Yeah. No, I know
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: the reunion.
- 1:04:47Speaker 4: Or if you don't do it, like when Lisa Vanderpump
- 1:04:49Speaker 4: didn't do it, I believe she told me she gave
- 1:04:52Speaker 4: up $ 250, 000.
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: Right. Not to be there to talk about Puppygate. Right. Well,
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: she probably did because it's probably three episodes and she
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: gets paid per episode X amount of money. So maybe
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: it added up to $ 200, 000. Yeah. Like if you're not
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: on the episodes. Right. She had to give that up. Oh, yeah.
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: But if you don't go to the cast trip, it's
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: just like there's some things. And I think probably she realized, oh, shoot,
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: that was a misstep there. So she was just trying
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: to do something that would be so dramatic. Can you
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: believe that? Yeah. I don't know. It's one of the
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: best scenes ever. But then she didn't come back after that.
- 1:05:25Speaker 4: Because I can't remember your reaction, but I remember just
- 1:05:29Speaker 4: the way.
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: I remember giving her the leg back and I was like,
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: you need help. You need to get help. I gave
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: her the light back after she threw it across the...
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: How heavy was it? It's not that heavy. It's light.
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: Did you put it back on the table or did you...
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: I handed it to her.
- 1:05:48Speaker 4: Because she put it out on the table and then
- 1:05:50Speaker 4: she threw it. And then she threw it because... And
- 1:05:52Speaker 4: then Ramona told me that originally, Ramona said that she
- 1:05:55Speaker 4: also had a plan that Harry, who was her ex-husband...
- 1:05:57Speaker 4: She wanted Harry to carry her out.
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: Yeah. Harry told me too that that's what she wanted
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: and Harry's like, I'm not doing that. That would have
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: been so good. That would have been so good. See,
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: there's not a moment like that. No, maybe not.
- 1:06:11Speaker 4: In the two seasons of Roni or any or very other,
- 1:06:14Speaker 4: a lot of other shows. Like, very few shows have
- 1:06:17Speaker 4: multiple hilarious moments. And I think that's why the fans just, like,
- 1:06:22Speaker 4: adore anyone from, like, your era of Roni, of.
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: The original Roni. Well... Yeah, it's nostalgia. And it's just,
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: it was like, I thought it was like a lot
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: of comedy, especially in the first. It started getting a
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: little darker. I could see it kind of turning the
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: last couple of seasons and then just started getting a
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: little intense. When they cast like Leah and... Well, then surely,
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: but even when I was still on it, it just
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: felt like there was like, you know, there's a lot
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: of like, not just setups, like setting up Tom and
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: like that was kind of like... But like opposition research,
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: like just like trying to like really, you know, mess
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: with other with some other cast and leaking of stories,
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: putting in fake stories and page six or this and that.
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: Like I just saw like it just started getting a
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: little like mean, like and not like. funny crazy, like
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: mean crazy. There's a difference. I think when there's plotting,
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: that's when I get turned off.
- 1:07:27Speaker 4: Like when you're really plotting to hurt someone's livelihood or
- 1:07:31Speaker 4: do it because you feel like you don't have.
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: Enough going on.
- 1:07:34Speaker 4: And I'm like, listen, if your life is what it is,
- 1:07:37Speaker 4: that's fine. As long as you're a funny commentator, funny
- 1:07:41Speaker 4: in the moment. But if you're not, then you're like, well,
- 1:07:44Speaker 4: I better pretend that I'm going to have a baby
- 1:07:46Speaker 4: at 50.
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: When we all know you don't want a baby.
- 1:07:49Speaker 4: No, there's a new girl that is very likable.
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: She's on Beverly Hills.
- 1:07:55Speaker 4: But I'm not the first one saying it, but people
- 1:07:58Speaker 4: are like, I don't believe this story. She's 48, and
- 1:08:01Speaker 4: she already has a daughter.
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: Who's like 16.
- 1:08:05Speaker 4: She says she's got this new boyfriend that she hasn't
- 1:08:08Speaker 4: even said I love you to. But all their conversations
- 1:08:11Speaker 4: and things are about.
- 1:08:13Speaker 4: Having a baby, but she also had to have fibroid surgery.
- 1:08:16Speaker 4: The whole thing doesn't make sense.
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: It doesn't make sense. Like she's having a surrogate? No,
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: like she says, I want to carry it myself. I'm like,
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: are you in like crazy town? What are you talking about?
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: See that kind of stuff. And I mean, yeah.
- 1:08:28Speaker 4: And I'm like, and also it's one thing if she
- 1:08:31Speaker 4: maybe had never had a kid, but like she already
- 1:08:34Speaker 4: has like a 16 year old daughter.
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: She's a widow.
- 1:08:38Speaker 4: And then she, this guy that like comes on and
- 1:08:42Speaker 4: they have not even said, I love you. And then
- 1:08:44Speaker 4: she goes and has dinners with Dorit and Erica to
- 1:08:48Speaker 4: talk about her plan to have a child with this
- 1:08:51Speaker 4: man who she doesn't say I love you.
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: They don't live together. They're not engaged. It's not like
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: they're married. Is she starting IVF and all that? That's
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: what I'm saying.
- 1:08:59Speaker 4: I think it's a bullshit story.
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: I think it's kind of a BS thing of like, well,
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: what could up my.
- 1:09:06Speaker 4: All I have going on right now is I've got
- 1:09:07Speaker 4: a 16-year-old daughter and I'm kind of dating this guy.
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: So what could up it?
- 1:09:11Speaker 4: And I do think when you've watched it for 20
- 1:09:14Speaker 4: years or however long it's been on, 17 years, and
- 1:09:17Speaker 4: you're cast, you're like, I need to make a splash
- 1:09:20Speaker 4: and I can't just be there saying snarky marks about
- 1:09:24Speaker 4: someone's outfit. I gotta have something going on because it's
- 1:09:27Speaker 4: the audience that keeps saying, you don't have a good storyline.
- 1:09:30Speaker 4: I'm like, well, what about the woman who's like, no,
- 1:09:33Speaker 4: I'm sorry, I'm not gonna get divorced or tell you that,
- 1:09:35Speaker 4: you know.
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: I have some horrible ailment or something.
- 1:09:39Speaker 4: I'm not doing that, so if that doesn't make my
- 1:09:41Speaker 4: life interesting, then I guess I'm out.
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: Like, who cares? Yeah, I mean, you really, you have
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: to be, you have to be, it's a hard job.
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: It's hard to do. You have to be very clever
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: and funny and authentic. Like, you really just have to
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: really be, and hopefully you have an interesting enough life
- 1:10:01Speaker 2: that you, but if you're not, I always find if
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: you're not really funny, that's when you start having babies.
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: Like when Ramona was trying to say she was pregnant.
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: I'm like, honey, that's menopause. And they were on the
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: yacht and she's peeing on a stick. I wasn't on
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: that season. You know what? We have sex every Tuesday.
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: And you know, I'm like, you know what? I don't know.
- 1:10:29Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: I had Avery when I was 40. So now that
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: I'm 54, does it mean I can't have another? I
- 1:10:35Speaker 2: miss my period. You're in perimenopause. Or full-blown. Or full-blown
- 1:10:41Speaker 2: at $ 54 million. Oh, my gosh. This was so fun.
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: Thank you so much. I'm really excited. I want to
- 1:10:46Speaker 2: see your book become a play.
- 1:10:48Speaker 4: I want the play to be a big hit that
- 1:10:51Speaker 4: you're investing in.
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: Thanks for all the scoop. Did I give you any scoop?
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: I feel like you did. I loved it. Oh, good.
- 1:10:59Speaker 4: And then I spoiled Baby Girl for you and rewrote it.
- 1:11:04Speaker 4: We got a lot done.
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: And then who's going to play me in the Ryan Murphy? Yes,
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: I want to hear from people. I got a lot
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: of DMs about when that was announced. I didn't even know.
- 1:11:14Speaker 2: I don't really think that I'm going to be part
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: of it. because- Your character, yes it is. I mean,
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: if it was true, I would be, but I don't
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: think it's like, it's just words on the headline. Do
- 1:11:24Speaker 2: you have any ideas? No, people started DMing me pictures
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: of Miley Cyrus, and I was like, why am I
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: getting all these pictures of Miley Cyrus? And then I
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: was- The only thing is she has such a distinct voice. Yeah.
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know anything about it. It's so deep.
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: It's very kind of smoky deep. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: I don't think she could pull it off. No, she's
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: much too interesting looking and like interesting. Yeah, but I don't.
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: I was literally.
- 1:11:50Speaker 4: But I know I want to find a better person
- 1:11:52Speaker 4: than I think that could get your, that actually has
- 1:11:54Speaker 4: the acting chops to get like your mannerisms down.
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: Oh, okay. I'm going to find it. Okay. Thank you.
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: Thank you. Love you. Thanks, everyone.
- 1:12:03Speaker 4: Remember, go to HeatherMcDonald.net because I'll be in Palm Springs
- 1:12:06Speaker 4: March 1st.
- 1:12:08Speaker 2: At the Agua Caliente. And you want to get those tickets.
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: Thank you. Bye.
